Great place to take the kids on a boring winter weekend. We visited this place on Saturday. Despite the crowd, the line for the water slides lasted 10 minutes maximum. The food is delicious, but try to buy in advance. At some point, a very long line is formed. Come early to borrow the chairs. There is no swimwear shop here so don't forget your swimsuits. We did not notice any shortcomings. The children were happy.

I went last weekend with my kids and family I believe this is the old coco keys. Let’s start with the prices they are crazy high between the entrance ticket and food , candy and snacks. I also noticed the hot tub was not that clean and had like sand or I don’t know what in the bottom and my feet was touching that. My kids had a lot of fun so did I and my family but I won’t be coming back again due to the prices. I just would like to add that I did get an ear infection after going here and I never get ear infections so I don’t know if that means they don’t clean very good.

After reading the reviews I was hesitant to give this place try. My 4 and 5 year old boys had an absolute blast in the water park! The water slides were perfect for them! Unlike the reviews I found the facility to be very clean. The lifeguards were very attentive to all the kids and their safety. I will absolutely be back with my family! It was awesome!

My family and I visited the park last thursday while kids on school vacation and we had a great time there. Despite ariving late at the park to fully enjoy the day pass hours, manager was very understanding of the circustances and offered us to stay as free guests and allowed us to return to the park and be able to use the actually day pass bought and to to take fully advantage of everything the park offers. My family and I are very gratefull for this experience.

This water park is always fun and clean - we’ve been coming for year's! This is my first review though because I wanted to make sure my experience gets acknowledged, and also wanted to share with others who are considering a visit to the park how amazing the manager Jose is. I have no idea if there are multiple managers but on the day we visited Jose was in charge. We had a strange gift card scenario as Jose worked it out with ease - he actually went above and beyond. If you think like me, then you know an establishment is only as good as it's service. The you for everything Jose!!

Had a blast taking my kids here for the thanksgiving weekend. This place is really good for small kids under 10 yo. My kids are 1.5 yo and 4yo. They both have fun. Although the highest slide they couldn’t take , the 4 yo were able to take all the other activities. The ticket price is fare. $30 for night time from 4-9 which not many people. However the locker is a rip off. $10 for such a small locker and $15 for a bigger one which is just enough for winter time for 2 peoples belongings. They only open on weekends otherwise we will definitely sign up for membership.
Maria W — Google review
The waterpark is fun for the kids, the small children area is large enough to have babies and toddlers even big kids play safely together. The middle Parrot Perch area is fun going up and down, waiting your turn for the water slides and unexpectedly being dumped a huge bucket of water. There is an activity for all ages. Minus two stars because yesterday and today, both day we visited, the hot tub/jacuzzi was room temperature, the bar drinks are juice in an ice filled cup and a splash of alcohol not worth the amount of money charged and the food is less than ideal for the prices. I'm yet to find an attraction like this that have decent food though, it's like since you are obligated to buy from them they won't even try to give you good food for the expected expensive price they charge.
Algerys Lopez — Google review
Great place to bring the kids for a full day of fun. Bar for adults to drink 🍸the food is meh and over priced but it's to be expected lol there is a splash area for toddlers/babies. 4 large water slides for older kids and adults. About 4 slides for younger kids. The lazy river is pretty cool! The hot tub area is pretty big, which is great. Tables go fast, so arrive earlier to ensure you get one. They have towels rentals. The lockers are 10 bucks each time you use it, so I recommend bringing a bag with towels, snacks, and drinks to sit at your table while you play and clip your car key inside swimsuit if possible to avoid using one. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the staff is cranky, and you'd expect them to at least try to be excited for the kids. The bar and restaurant close an hour before the park closes. The changing room is very small and has dips on the floor, so puddles form everywhere. Highly recommend water shoes!
Carissa Silva — Google review
this water park is a lot of fun. there was a little bit of something for every age. including the adults. from a lazy river to jacuzzi, to splash pad with a slide which made it extra cool. there was also a swimming area for kids to play basketball and swim around. it was cool. there were different levels of slides. honestly i thought they would be more terrifying then they were but my seven year old and i went on every single one. i think i was more nervous then him. LOL. the water was also about 2 ft deep which was reassuring. you could smell the chemicals in the water which i’m sure is a good sign because we want to make sure we’re not spreading germs. the water even had a sting to it in your eyes. so if you’re someone with sensitive eyes, maybe wear goggles or even have the kiddos wear them also. i could see how it could irritate younger children. my reason for the 3 star is because the staff were all children and that wasn’t the most pleasant thing. a lot of them were really rude. some of the life guards were really kind and others not so much. the kids in the food court in my opinion shouldn’t be all working in there. their customer service skills lacked tremendously. we ordered mozzarella sticks and french fries. both were the lowest quality you could think of. i know you have to start somewhere but at least have a responsible adult overseeing them. also the lockers over charged me by $60.00 which wasn’t cool. hopefully they fix it and will refund me. mackenzie at the front desk was really sweet and helpful. i wish they had a first timer greeting to guide you and tell you more about the park and directions. i had to keep asking questions. which was slightly annoying. the bathrooms were also all very dirty. no stall was clean. idk if it’s because of school vacation or what but heads up. overall we enjoyed ourselves. i don’t think it’ll be our number one choice but maybe when we have nothing to do. for now we’ll continue browsing other options. i will say they do have potential to be a five star but in my opinion it’s a 2.5/3.

The employees at this place were amazing from the frontdesk, management, lifeguards down to the restaurant and Guy's at little store in the front. Having that many people
who are amazing with customer service is really rare. My son has autism they were accommodating to no end. Thank you all so much. Dom at the store you are great and the lifeguard Julius is such a sweetheart. Can't wait to have my son's party there they have an amazing staff.

One good thing, my grandsons had a great time. For the amount of money I paid, I wish I would have gone back to Great Wolfe Lodge. Never ever in my life have I heard that the adults have to pay $80.00 per adult to be there with the children. One the website they just want the children’s names and that was that. But then once you get there and you put the bracelet on the kids they pop on you that you have to also pay for yourself as the guardian. I understand fully I could have gone in the water but I did not want to. And many grownups were there that were sitting there enjoying themselves but you can enjoy yourself as an adult at Great Wolfe Lodge and not have to pay a cent because you are an adult.
Stephanie Cook — Google review
Went to a birthday party it was a lot of fun. Well organized great pizza and as much time after the party to enjoy the park as you wanted. Only downside was the big slides were closed for maintenance otherwise it would be 5 🌟
Dan Horan — Google review
This is a smaller water park than I'm used to, but not overly priced ($45) was not packed when we got there. Lazy river, small play pool with basketball hoops, kiddie pool section, large water slides with and without tubes to use, bigger water playground with slides that adults can use with children, hot tub but signs do say must be 15 years or older to use. You can buy food or swimwear if need be, and they do have table and chairs available, but first come, first grab, or you may only have chairs available. The pool area during the winter months is only open from 11a.m. to 7 p.m., but you can get tired out in these 8 hours.
justin santos — Google review
***Lazy River not included in the shots. They the have full service bar over looking the Parrot Perch - older kids area. The breeze way - snack bar as a pretty good menu. *** no outside food allowed. Reentry is allowed. So we packed a cooler and had snacks, drinks and a meal in the car.

Great place to bring your kids . If not cap codder, definitely bring them here. Drinks are lil expensive, pack some in advance, or there's other options within a 15-minute drive from here. They also have a mini arcade before entering the water park.
Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, located in Ipswich, is a grand English-style mansion surrounded by well-manicured gardens and a sprawling lawn that gently slopes down to the seashore. The estate spans 1,200 acres and includes the picturesque Crane Beach. Visitors can tour the first floor of the mansion for $10, while an additional fee of $20 grants access to the second floor.
An incredible place to visit. The house and the grounds are amazing. The first floor was open and included in the $10 entrance fee for nonmembers and second floor was available to tour for an extra charge ($20 per person for nonmembers). There is a half mile long grass mall in the backyard leading to a great view of the beach and marsh. They gave us a pamphlet with information for a self-guided tour. On weekends and summer months, they have additional tours where you can go up to the top floor and the basement.
Shawn Casselberry — Google review
Nice crane estate to visit though it is a little underwhelming. You get to see the beach after walking the lawn (can be quite a walk with some uphills and downhills). If you want to walk around in the house (lower floor) on your own, it is free. If you want to tour the upper floor, it has to be a guided tour. The tour is in a role-playing format with your docent dressed in a character (usually maid/butler). At the end of the tour they serve you a non-alcoholic beverage and you do a toast to the crane family. You should also take a walk at the casino. It is really beautiful and a nice place to spend time out at, admiring the flowers.

What an estate. The great house is the crown jewel but honestly the lawn to the sea is what totally blew me away! There is small seating arrangements in the back of the house which is absolutely amazing. You can see the sea from two sides and both the views are absolutely breathtaking! The gardens, casino, beach; there are so much that it's almost impossible to cover in a day! I'm going back again for the house tour! I recommend the same to everyone else.

Beautiful castle with beautiful views. We went there on a Saturday. Unfortunately, the castle was closed due to construction work but the gardens were open to stroll around. The gardens are beautiful. The view from the gardens is serene.

The landscape throughout the property is very well kept. The mansion is beautiful inside and out. When you walk inside you can see from the craftsmanship, artwork and sculptural design of the building alot of time and thought went into its making. There are amazing gardens, statues, sculptures and fountains everywhere you look. The green lawns seem to almost roll out down to the beach. Great place to walk around and check out this time of the year.

** Unique castle tour **
I loved how they tour you with some interaction between the fellow visitors.
Our guide was very polite and allowed us to look at things and answered all the questions.
One suggestion though is to allow a little more time to absorb all the beauty of the castle.
The surrounding is jaw droppingly pleasant.
I recommend anyone looking for a castle tour in summers.

Amazing estate with picturesque views. We arrived as a pit stop on the way to Gloucester. We paid the $10.00 per adult pass to get in and tour the grounds. After arriving, we opted for the Guest of the Cranes Tour and the Cupola Tour, which are $20.00 per adult per tour. The tours were both very informative. The Cupola Tour provides outstanding views. The Guest of the Cranes tour provides additional insight into the construction, decorations of rooms / bathrooms, paintings, and history of the family.
The staff are friendly and do not shy away from questions.
I would recommend anyone thinking of visiting the estate to do so!

I had a wonderful time here with my family. We spent several hours here and enjoyed every minute. We toured the marvelous house, explored the grounds and gardens, played checkers on the terrace, and took in the amazing views of the ocean. We later visited Crane Beach, which is a shot drive away.

So many details to see and find so little time. Fantastic tour guide Kate, she knows her stuff. Thanks for the extra library facts! Lovely property to walk around and explore. Don’t miss the gardens!

I was worried that there would be nothing to do here in winter, but despite the fact that the exhibition inside the house is closed for the winter season, we spent several hours walking along the trails. There is also access to the beach. We really liked it and will definitely come back here in the summer.

The main house wasn't available for tours when we went but the grounds around the house and walking trails through the woods and gardens were open. The landscaping, architecture and statues were all amazing. It was easy to imagine what it was like in it's heyday. Plan on spending 2 hrs or more walking around if you want to see all the points of interest.

I visited the Crane Estate on a recent weekend, and I was very impressed. The estate is absolutely beautiful, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend visiting the Crane Estate if you are looking for a unique and memorable experience.
The grand manor house is absolutely stunning. It is a beautiful example of Tudor Revival architecture.
The grounds are beautifully landscaped. There are gardens, lawns, and walking trails to explore.
The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the estate.
The estate is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. I spent a few hours exploring the grounds and taking in the beautiful scenery.
Overall, I had a wonderful time visiting the Crane Estate. It is a beautiful and historic place that is well worth a visit

A grand historic home. Self guided tours and a variety of full tours are available. I enjoyed exploring the grounds and grand house. A gift shop is on site with beverages, snacks, and gifts.
We had a fantastic time on the property.

Such a magical place. The grounds are exquisite with beautifully manicured gardens and wonderful statues as well as informational signs. I have not toured the house yet but its definitely part of the plan for the next trip. Also the beach is not too far of a walk to enjoy the scenery of the dunes and the beautiful beach. A lot of walking but absolutely worth it.
Jocelyn Porciello — Google review
Beautiful estate with larger grounds and access to the beach. We got the ten dollar tickets which gives you access to the grounds as well as the first floor of the house. We spent two hours walking around this beautiful place. Well worth a visit.
Stella Wei — Google review
An incredible architectural monument, which we damaged by coming here two years before closing, because this time is catastrophically short. We will definitely come back here again. The estate is surrounded by an incredible area, a place from which you do not want to return. we were prevented by the rain, we are already planning our next visit here. The staff were polite, all smiling and telling interesting stories about the estate. I recommend a visit.

Beautiful grounds and amazing buildings. It's like stepping into a fairy tale. Love the lawn, the statues, the gardens, the views. Great events, too! The art shows, concerts and holiday events are so much fun.

We really enjoyed our visit yesterday! The property is beautiful! The weather was rainy but still enjoyable! I ordered our tickets on line without any trouble (there is a military discount offered as well that can be used for the entire family, my husband was in the Navy). I didn't realize that the house is not opened on Mondays to go inside, so that was a little disappointing. But great visit overall!
Pam Defries — Google review
Beautiful place. The house inside is amazing. The architecture is breathtaking.
I suggest you take the full house tour. If you don't you can explore some of the first floor but there is so much more to see if you take the tour.
Don't worry if you see them talking about role playing. That scared my gf away from taking the tour but we saw people on the tour and it was just normal. The tour guide seemed very knowledgeable. I may go back for the tour to see the rest of the house.
My girlfriend and I really enjoyed walking the grounds. There are a bunch of trails you can walk with maps to help guide you. There is also at least one random bathroom we stumbled upon while walking which was awesome it was very clean and it's very environmentally friendly
You can walk right onto the beach from at least one of the trails we walked.
Be prepared to walk a lot if you really want to see most of it. Bring propper footwear.
Check your local library for discounted tickets (possibly free)
Not sure I would bring kids here.
$10 per adult to walk the grounds (you are able to explore the first floor) the tours are a separate charge. Not exactly sure on the pricing on that.
Overall we had a great time. I would definitely go back again.

Absolutely gorgeous estate and grounds! It's set about 15 minutes away from Ipswich station so you'll need to plan on taking an Uber if you don't have a vehicle. The tour was really interesting and the grounds are amazing. If you're in the Boston area this is a must see! I would plan on spending about 3 hours here if you want to see everything.

The castle was impressive! Unfortunately we didn't get to go inside as the mansion was closed, but the grounds and other structures were just as impressive. Beautiful Italian architecture, and the views are absolutely stunning.
1800s textile mills & the waterways that powered them, with canalside walks & interpretive displays.
First time visiting this great park last year. Unique park since structures are spread out throughout the city. Came back last month and thought the renovations looked good. Kids will love the summer concerts even more now.

Parking at the visitors center seemed challenging when I arrived, I drove around and finally found some metered street parking. Apparently, they validate parking in a ramp behind the visitors center. There was also a large surface lot barricaded off for some reason. They offer a free walking tour of Suffolk Mill, a $12 canal tour, a free boarding house museum and $6 self guided tour of Books Mill. Trolleys run to the major sights. I struggled to get an overview of what "Lowell" was and the major sights. It would be nice if they developed a "What to see" in 2-3 hours, a half day and full day, recommendations like many of the National Parks have.
Trypp Adams — Google review
My friend has a little restaurant in the street next to the park if you get a chance to try Jimmy's halal chicken the foods great and Jimmy's a big hearted hard worker worth the trip. I've seen him feed homeless people out of his pocket and his chicken is different than anything I've tried you'll walk out smiling and full.

We visited a large building that had five floors and was full of little studios with all kinds of arts and crafts. Everything from glass and metal working, kitch, stone sculpture and found object bashing. Costuming, wood working, clothiers and painters.
We ran out of time to see it all but we then got to hang out at the basement brewery which was great!

Stopped here without really knowing what to expect. The ranger was very helpful and we were quite surprised how long we stayed in the end. If you’re into old factories it’s quite cool. Rather empty in mid-October, apparently in summer there are boat and tram tours, so that’s probably a better time to visit.

The park consists of several buildings that were restored. You learn everything there is to know about both past Lowell and the different periods the town went through. The canal tour was really nice and I'd recommend taking it. The guides were all very helpful and are ready to tell you all about the town.

Went on the boat tour today. Nadia our wonderful tour guide made it fun, and most informative! Being out on the Pawtucket Canal, seeing the stone walls and mill buildings that line its banks, learning how the water powered the mills and the history and current state of the canals was most interesting. And all of this in an urban setting! Highly recommended!

Great place to visit, they have a railroad museum, mills and old equipment to tour, quilt museum and various food and drink places to indulge in throughout the historical park and little art shops to visit...check it out.

Walk into the Visitor Center to get great information about this historic site. Lowell was designed as a town with textile mills and all of the extensive planning went into creating efficiency, mass production of cloth and a good place for workers. Many women were hired here breaking down the barriers for work outside the household. A short walk or trolley ride from the Visitor Center is the actual mills. Fascinating! Hoping you see the video and spend some time here exploring the sights.

Very good food and oysters. The restaurant is upscale with a beautiful interior and a good menu. I tried the French Onion soup and it was delicious. My friend tried a house raspberry brew, that was sadly al gone exceot for half a cup. But it was delicious. We would defintely return for drinks, apps and oysters.

Definitely worth a visit. Fascinating to see how it all worked. Free tours on certain days, Thur at 2:30 being one of them. Check with the visitor center.

The Lowell National Park is an urban park spread out over a several block area of downtown Lowell. Some of the buildings and activities are free of charge (the main visitors center, the mill girls boarding house, the immigrant experience, and the trolley ride) while others have a small cost (Boott Cotton Mill and boat tour).
Start at the visitors center where they have a short film explaining about the history of Lowell and the Mills, as well as exhibits telling a shorter version of the story you will see when visiting the other sites.
From here you can plan your day: 90 minute canal boat tour, trolley to the Boott Mill (60-90 mins) and mill girls house (20-45 mins), or head the other way to a second mill tour (no idea of time here).
In addition there are many fun and funky art galleries, museums (the quilt museum is a favorite) stores and restaurants between the visitors center and the other sites.
Migratory bird refuge with observation towers & fishing & hunting opportunities, plus public tours.
We visited in May to go birding. The refuge did not disappoint. Well kept bathrooms at every parking point, the trails are clean and level. It’s a great place for accessibility.
Visiting in the early morning will most likely get you parking, later in the day it gets quite crowded. Overall a great day trip!

$5 admission fee. It was a bargain if you love to explore and walk, ride a bike 🚲, see giant windmills, birdwatch or hang out by the ocean 🌊.
We went to the Hellcat Interpretive Trail so my kids could have any easy walk and their were a lot of great 👍 reviews for this trail. It was enjoyable.
There was an observation tower that had a good view and we saw an airplane from a local airport fly overhead. Waterfowl were feeding nearby.
Many other trails and observation areas along the way.
Only issue, the unpaved road has huge potholes that needs to be filled! It can make driving challenging and hard on your vehicles' suspension. The road is paved up to the Hellcat Interpretive Trail.
Place is popular. Parking 🅿️ can be a little challenging.
I recommend a visit! Plan to stay for awhile. Bring food and drink. Bathrooms are available. ♿ Accessible to the handicap. Stroller friendly.

An amazing place! Awesome they accept National Parks Annual Pass! Because we visited 2-3 times each day for the 2.5 days we were visiting the area. Caught two incredible sunsets, tried for a sunrise but the gate wasn’t open yet so we went nearby on the beach but it was all fog anyway haha. The boardwalk was amazing. Just an absolutely gorgeous area. Lots of wildlife as well!

Was quite worth the visit during the winter! I came on a particular sunny day with a gentle breeze that meant it wasn't too cold; perfect for a stroll around the refuge. I was very amused by the icy patterns in the marshlands (didn't get too many pictures though as I was trying to stay off my phone and didn't have a camera with me). Parking is scattered throughout the park and more available than in the summer. Parking fees rely on the trust system, still $5, but I'm unsure as to if anyone actually checks. Better safe than sorry!

It was surprisingly popular on a chilly, windy winter day. The boardwalk trails at the south end have been upgraded since we last visited. They are lovely. The scenery is dramatic.

Parking lot #4 allows you to take a boardwalk walk with overlooks of the ocean and the marsh. It is a partially shaded walk and very pleasant. The loop with overlooks is two miles. There are several benches along the way.

The best place to bike, watch birds in their natural habitats and also enjoy the beach towards the end of the gravel road. Biking is the best way to enjoy the place and you can get 12 miles in if you park near the entrance. It does get pretty crowded in the summer and I highly recommend getting into the park as early as possible.

One of the best place to visit in Massachusetts if you are a nature lover. It gets more beautiful in the morning and evening times. Plenty of trails, beach access, bird watching, sand dunes, deciduous vegetation and many more. You shouldn’t miss sunset from one of the observation towers.

A little slice of heaven!! This place is so serene and tranquil! You feel like you are in another world. The beach is so sandy and you can still find shells and sand dollars scattered around. The boardwalks over the dunes are a beautiful walk to the beach and there are more boardwalks throughout the wildlife sanctuary through small woods and out into the marshes for some enjoyable birdwatching! I've been to Newbury and Plum Island before but never visited here. I decided to stop by to check it out and it was definitely worth it! The beach is beautiful, clean and the boardwalk very picturesque. The Parker River National Wildlife area is amazing to stop by and explore!

Really nice beach with a parking lot that is a short walk from the parking lot. We paid $5 for parking (cash only). If there is no parking attendant then you can just grab an envelope at the entrance and rip off the slip and put the money in a dropbox and display the slip on the windshield (at least that is what I did). FYI there are no showers to rinse off after you're done. There was a water filling station inside the information center by the bathrooms but they are not open all day. Overall pretty good experience.

We visited the park on Juneteenth and were pleasantly surprised that it was free for the holiday! The gentleman working the entrance booth was incredibly nice and informative. The beach and boardwalk was beautiful. Great way to connect with nature!
Expansive, kid-friendly theme park featuring roller coasters, water rides, carnival games & shows.
Well put together park. The rides are fun. From the point of view of an extreme coaster enthusiast, these guys have done a great job considering the height restrictions imposed onto the park for rides. Yankee Cannonball is comfortable and fun. UNTAMED is short, but action packed. The park has an excellent, above and beyond; selection of rides for the little ones. My daughter was 4 and had an absolute blast.

My first visit to Canobie was during Screeemfest! Parking is easy & free - if you arrive slightly early you'll be parked pretty close to the entrance. During the first hour of opening, the lines for rides weren't too bad. Towards the end of the night, you had to wait in lines that were at least 30 minutes long. Some lines for rides like The Yankee Cannonball were 45 minutes plus. Even though we didn't get to do as many rides as we were hoping, we had an awesome time & there was so much to see. At dusk, the views over the lake are incredible. We were blessed with an incredible sunset. Lots of spooky decor around the park - we really enjoyed walking around taking it all in. The lines for the haunted houses were crazy so we chose to skip it. I was surprised by the food & drink prices. They are reasonable compared to most parks. A cocktail with a souvenir beaker was under $20 ($15 if I remember correctly), turkey leg was $13, & huge loaded baked potatoes were $9. We were all very satisfied with the food - it was filling & delicious. We had a great time at Canobie & can't wait to return!

A very nice family amusement park that has rides for everyone in the family. To small kiddie rides for the children, to family friendly rides and all the way up to thrill rides, this place has a nice mix. It also has a small water park included with admission in the summer (although gets very packed on hot days) and water rides, plus some shows/other entertainments. Their Halloween event is always a blast with haunted houses too.

The owner of my workplace was generous to treat us to a picnic and day at Canobie! We had a great time.
I have been coming here since I was young. It’s very clean, and not too big. They have a water park, but that was way too crowded for us, sadly. That’s ok though, because we were able to cool off on the flume ride and the Boston Tea Party. They have plenty of benches to sit down and of course the people watching is always entertaining. I’m not good with rides, but my husband had a good time! My son is autistic, and we weren’t sure how well he would do. He tried the skateboard ride, but it was a little too intense for him. There are a lot of options for calmer activities. The food choices were pretty much standard to any amusement park. I was very happy to find a place for alcohol. There aren’t a ton of options, but they have beer located outside the Boston Tea Party ride in a cool looking old style pub, and inside the water park. They also offer AC inside some of the arcades, which was definitely needed as it was very hot that day. I had a great day, and slept like a rock that night!

What a blast ! Had a great time ! Plenty for young kids to do! Dedicated splash pad area, really cool water park for kids and probably the best lazy river I have ever been to. My kids (age 1 & 4) had plenty of options of things to do. The water park was my favorite, on hot days nice to be in the water around noon to 1

One of my favorite dates to date. Downside were the long lines. We did ScreamFest and purchased the express passes. $25 to knock out 5 haunted houses in an hr. Worth it considering the lines were so long others were likely waiting the hour to 30 min each. We went on 3 rides had dinner walked around watched the freak show for a bit and then went through the haunted houses. Definitely cannot wait to take the kids. One of the coolest things though, these parks have a fast lane for disabled individuals. Make sure you check with customer service!! If you have someone who physically or mentally cannot wait in lines but enjoy the rides they can get in pretty quickly. Just make sure the attendant sees you. ❤️❤️

This place is great for kids. The lines are usually very long for the adult rides so if you go you should make a day of it to get the most in (if that's your thing). The other attractions are fun and plenty.

Awesome place to visit. The water park portion is really fun. There is a crazy water activity place with waterslides and water guns, etc. So much fun!
The amusement park rides are great. Awesome view from the Ferris wheel. Roller coasters are a lot of fun. Other rides as well. There are lot of good options. We ended up getting Mexican food.
Plan a day of it. There is a lot to see and do. We were there all day and that really wasn't enough time. Next time, we'll try the rest!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Canobie Lake Park Theme Park with my family, and it was an experience we'll cherish for a long time. The park catered to all ages, from toddlers to teens, and even adults, ensuring that everyone had a fantastic time.
The variety of rides was impressive, with something for everyone. The little ones were thrilled with the toddler-friendly attractions, while the older kids and adults enjoyed the more adrenaline-pumping rides.
One of the highlights of our visit was the flexibility to bring our own food and water, especially for the kids. This is a thoughtful provision that not many places offer. However, if you happen to forget, there's no need to worry. The park offers a wide array of dining options, ranging from vegetarian to non-vegetarian dishes. And for those who fancy a drink, they even serve beer to lift your spirits!
I highly recommend planning your visit on Fridays or Saturdays. The park hosts a spectacular fireworks display and dance party after closing hours, adding an extra layer of fun to your visit. You can check the schedule on their website to plan your day accordingly.
In conclusion, our visit to Canobie Lake Park Theme Park was one of our best family outings. It's a place that truly offers something for everyone, making it a perfect destination for family fun. We can't wait to go back!

We spent the day here, we enjoyed both Castaway Island and the amusement park. One thing both my wife and I noticed, the lifeguards were extremely attentive, very active and moving around, constantly scanning the pool. They had a lot of staff, and all we encountered were friendly and helpful. The value for the price of admission was incredible. The park and the bathrooms were very clean and well kept. Sometimes these places can look faded and worn but we were both impressed with the overall look. There is a good mix of rides for ages 4-16. We would recommend stopping here for a great day!

Canobie Lake Park in Salem, New Hampshire holds a special place in my heart. Having visited as a child, I'm delighted to see that it has maintained its charm and beauty throughout the years. The park's impeccable upkeep is evident in the well-kept flowers that grace its walkways, creating a delightful atmosphere.
Now, as an adult living out of state, I cherish the opportunity to bring my children, aged 8 and 10, to Canobie Lake Park, allowing them to create their own cherished memories. The park's waterpark is a huge hit during the summer months, providing a perfect escape from the heat.
However, with the availability of season passes, I've noticed that the park can become quite crowded at times. The long lines near the entrance during exit times, especially for simple treats like apples, popcorn, and cotton candy, can be a bit frustrating. I personally experienced a wait of over 30 minutes. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience and the joy it brings to my family are well worth it. Canobie Lake Park remains a treasured destination for both nostalgia and creating new memories with loved ones.

What a fun experience for families!! There's something for everyone! From crazy roller coasters to cute little toddler rides! You can spend the whole day here and feel energized! Lots of restaurants and food options... essentially your basic amusement park food.. cute souvenir cups for ice's and drinks.. the kids had a blast! It's a short drive from Boston so it's convenient for people visiting the area.

I have gone to canobie lake park since I was a kid, so over 15 years at this point. I have never done before Screamfest and my friend didn’t warn me you can only buy tickets online. So I arrived and noticed the ticket booths were closed and asked is there anyway to buy tickets in person and they said it’s online only. I do put 50% of the responsibility on my friend for not telling me this. But then 50% responsibility is on Canobie for two reasons. The first reason being this is a location with plenty of booth stations and you could easily have one open to address those who don’t buy online. The BIGGER reason though is this. THEY HAVE NO CELL SERVICE OR PUBLIC WIFI THERE. It is pretty crummy trying to break through the cell service to contact friends and to see if anyone has strong enough cell service to buy a ticket for me. If you are going to have mandatory online passes and you are very aware of your lack of cell service. You should invest in a couple of quality WiFi routers at the front gate so people can hop on it and purchase tickets OR if you don’t want to open a booth, invest in a digital station where you can go to a machine and purchase one.
Now for the second part of this experience I’ll be getting more into the screamfest experience. This experience comes with the caveat that I know staffing can be short some night and all that understandable stuff. I get that. However, nothing really felt that spooky. The walkers around the park had lack luster energy as well as in the haunts. The only one I felt had more energized haunters were the works in the location near Untamed. The other two felt pathetic. And not due to lack of ambience or visuals. The ambience and visuals were great. But the haunt near the tea party ride and near the mine ride were a bummer when it came to being actually scared. Because you can have the coolest visuals you want but when there are a lack of people or the people minimally engage it just ruins the experience. For instance when we went through the haunt by the tea party, I think we managed to walk through 6+ rooms before running into another worker. Then, the workers just hide in corners and barely move. Or just stare at you by a wall. Where is the getting up in your face? Where is the following a person for short periods of time? Making repetitive noises through yelling or banging objects? Again, some workers did do that, but for the 2 I was disappointed in, they really didn’t do a lot.
For the last part of the experience I will talk about the express pass. So, first of all you pay $50 to get in. Then, because we dealt with 40mins of trying to get me into to the place we were running short on time and they close at 11p, AND they obviously have long lines. Now we are thinking we will do the express pass. They have signs for it around the park but the signs don’t actually lead you to the direction of getting them because we tried 2 spots in the park and the people said no. Then we went to the front to guest services and they said go to the gift shop next store. We thought we would pay $25 cause it said that online. No, if you buy it at the shop it’s $30 and online it’s $25 if you match it with your ticket and add it on. Well, obviously with no cell service we couldn’t do that so we had to pay the $30. It was worth it in the sense that you get to the front quick. But again with my review of the actual haunts themselves, it doesn’t feel worth it to spend $80 for the lack luster experience.
All of this to say, I love Canobie lake park as an amusement park and for anyone trying to go there for rides whether it’s spooky season or not, it is a great time. Clean park, clean bathrooms. A lot of food options. I hope they put up more roller coasters cause one can only handle so many spinny ride options, which there are a lot there. And they took down the cork screw which was a roller coaster. But yah as an amusement park, I still love it as an adult. As a spooky place, definitely bummed.

This park is impeccably clean! I mean, spotless. Not even a stray bottle cap on the ground. The bathrooms are spotless. The cleanest amusement park I have ever been too. The lines to rides are long, but move fast. The staff, primarily teenagers/college students, are the sweetest most helpful people! With their energy, you can tell they love their job! I can't wait to go back in October!
Highly recommended! Tony & his crew were awesome! It did take us 3 tries for a flight due to weather, but the third time was the charm! It was totally worth the wait! Tony was very accommodating giving us priority once he had a cancellation since our previous flights didn’t happen due to weather. At the end of the flight, you get a flight certificate and a champagne toast in hot air balloon cups! There are t-shirts and pins available for purchase as well. The only down side to the whole experience was that there were no bathrooms at the meeting place that you go to at the beginning and end of your flight. Regardless of that, five star experience!!

My husband and I had a great experience on our balloon flight! Tony is obviously very experienced and careful. We had a beautiful day, and could see for a hundred miles or more in all directions! We had a soft landing in a grassy back yard which the residents were happy to see us! Lots of fun and laughs, and I got to take video of a marriage proposal! It's a very unique type of flying experience and I would recommend HIgh 5 as they are safe and fun.

Amazing experience and crew! Tony the pilot was a great air guide showing us all the notable sights and sharing fun facts about the art of hot air ballooning. Interactive experience as we got to help with the set up and take down of the balloon (optional of course but why wouldn't you) and shared a mimosa toast at the end per hot air ballooning tradition. Highly recommend!

Had the crazy idea to ride on a hot air balloon... Well the experience was amazing, we witnessed a beautiful sunrise and the beauty of NH. Tony is an excellent pilot and a resourceful historian. We learned all to be known about our surroundings and the history that has made New Hampshire what they are today. We had a great time and was able to celebrate later with some mimosas. Had a great day floating with High 5 in Salem, NH. The basket was walk-in which made loading and unloading very easy. The support team was a key element to our success as they were at our landing spot ready to help during the landing. This is a good beach for locals or vacationers as it's usually well kept. There's an assortment of shoppes open in the summer and enough activities to spend the day here. The beach is beautiful in winter, the sunrises are just as stunning in February as they are in July. Worth a visit if you're in the area, but there are definitely better areas 20-30 minutes away in Maine.
If you happen to be visiting between May-August the center of sea creatures in worth a visit. Located on the beach, it's a small building with a one-way walking loop inside. There are touch tanks and more information than most can digest in a single visit. The staff are very passionate about their studies as most are undergrads working for the summer.
The beach shoppes are what you'd find at pretty much every other recognized beach / pier area. Toys and summer clothes are available for a higher cost.
If you're 21+ Bernie's Beach Bar is a great place to spend a (probably drunken) evening and night. They have a live showing venue on the second floor with a few mini bars, then a connecting deck with a full bar. We came July 2022 to see Lil Jon and some local artists perform. Not a good place to bring a 'pack of smokes' though, they do a decent search at the door and got mine from the inner seam of my wallet. Oops!

Very nice beach...great wave action and on particularly good days is popular with surfers! Almost like two beaches actually-- sandy and great for swimming to the south, and rocky and made for exploring to the north. Sidenote: very, very popular for walking dogs...I like dogs as much as the next person though like happens so many place they get a bad rep b/c of inconsiderate owners who don't pick-up after them.

Visiting this park in the off season is a very pleasant experience. There are no parking fees. Dogs are welcome on the enormous sandy beach. Two of the three restrooms are open. The size of the playground is so large, and the equipment is so colorful, that if I were a child, I'd consider it an amusement park .

Massachusetts Senior Skip night was handled very well by the Hampton Beach and surrounding area police departments. We grew up coming to Hampton Beach from Maine, and the kids involved were vile and disrespectful. Thank you Hampton, please stay safe. We will continue to help support your town and townspeople. Massachusetts, I am sure you taught your children better, and I am sad these are the times we are living in. I do realize the kids have been locked up with Covid for more than 2 years and have a lot of steam to blow off.

Beautiful beach in the New England area, in New Hampshire. Never expected to see such nice sands and water in the North but the place is amazing. These pics were taken on the 4th of July so expect a lot of people during bank holidays, other than those, it should be super nice.

Scenic beach in the New England area. The cities of Concord and Manchester are nearby. This is a perfect summer destination to add to a New England itinerary, especially headed north to Maine. My itinerary started in Boston and ended in Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine. The Atlantic waters are cold even in the summer. The sunrise is something to behold. On the weekends and holidays, try to get here early for parking opportunities. If headed upstate New Hampshire the white mountains are a must see especially in the fall with the changing leaves.

This beach is so beautiful and love to visit. We had a family gathering and we all found the staff was very rude to each of us entering, shouldn’t have staff members working with people if they can’t be happy and welcoming. The Isles of Shoals is a cluster of nine small and sparsely populated islands with simple 1800s hotels, churches, and cottages. It is an exceptional place to visit by taking the Island of Shola Steamship authority for approximately 4 1/2 hours trip from Portsmouth, NH. The main island has a big hotel and several small buildings where visitors can enjoy trails around the island and historical sites. The community is excellent, caring, and welcoming to all visitors.

The seats were very comfortable. The sound was good. It is just the popcorn that did not make the cut. There was only salt on the top and no salt. I think there should have been more butter mixed in. The temperature was very nice; it was perfect. I really enjoyed the experience.

Been going to this O’Neil Cinemas every time I come to Epping New Hampshire. Staff is very friendly and the theater is always clean. I’m a huge “Nightmare Before Christmas” fan and I’m so happy for the 30th anniversary of the film, they have showings for the whole season. Seeing it on the big screen was a totally different experience then watching it from home. Very thankful they had this for us to enjoy.

Overall your typical cinema. Seats and concession prices are pretty unremarkable. But the fantastic deal on tickets all day on Tuesdays makes this place really stand out as a great spot.

We're new to the area so we were very happy to find O'Neil theater. We love that it's so easy to buy tickets online and the concessions are reasonably priced. Overall cleanness was good too. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there were three young girls sitting on the back row just behind us who didisturbed, talked, farted, giggled, threw popcorn, etc, the entire time and after I told staff about the issue, they talked to them but didn't monitor them so they just continued to make it hard on everyone to enjoy the show. I felt like staff should have asked them to leave when they wouldn't conform to theater decorum.
Nanka Robinson — Google review
Theater had a noticeable mustiness and a strong smell of mold. Concessions are very expensive in all theaters, but here the sizes were small for what you paid, and then they solicited a tip on the receipt for handing over an empty cup and a bag of popcorn. The bathroom was foul, with the toilet in one stall covered in urine and what I'm absolutely certain was dried fecal matter on the wall of the other. Picture quality was poor and the seats creaked loudly if you moved at all.

Place was actually pretty darn good. The screen was very good quality. The sound inside the rooms, is spectacular!!! This place is actually worth the 5 star and I'll suggest people going to an O'Neil Cinema!! People work there, are very nice and seems very wonderfully trained in the social environment as well as customer service. Not one bad thing to say about it at all what so ever

I like this movie theater complex. Staff friendly. I have never ordered concession food there so I have no opinion. Plenty of parking, depending on day. 3D movies available. D-box is overrated. Bathroom was in good shape. I have difficulty sitting in the chair for an extended period of time.
Update: Saturday afternoon, March 2022; My family members and I wanted to sit together but pay for our tickets separately. The three amigos, err, associates who waited on us immediately helped us with suggestions with the best spot to sit and see the movie 🎥. Very friendly service! Bathroom was in good shape. Matinee is more affordable.
Update: Saturday afternoon, December 2022; I tried the nachos with cheese. It is pricey. The food was heated and they tasted okay. The person who I went with likes the popcorn 🍿 and requested extra butter 🧈.

I visited the movie theater around 5 yesterday, and unfortunately, the cashier's behavior was disappointing. There were instances where she whispered rude comments under her breath when I was ordering food and tickets. The girl also had a rude tone the entire time when speaking to us. It's important for customer service to be kind and show manners but I felt like she was being super impolite. I love this place and I would recommend going but this experience just kept it from being 5 star.
Tt Fcfcf — Google review
The staff were rather nice & the theater was actually really cozy instead of an arcade filled lobby like I'm used to. The theaters aren't too big either, which gives it a more intimate feel. Sadly, that means they don't have a lot of leg room, which was my only issue.
K0nstance — Google review
Great place, just feels cramped inside the theater, and the chairs are really uncomfortable. Plus, tickets and concessions are well overpriced as always. I think I paid $7 for a box of junior mints. You’d think with the fad of movie theaters dying out, they’d adjust their astronomical pricing.
Caleb Magoon — Google review
The seats are pretty bad. If you’re small or a kid, you’ll fall into the back of the seat because the chairs are similar to stadium seats. They fold down, therefore they fold up on you if you have a small stature and can’t take up the whole seat.

Been coming here for 35+ yrs and many good Memories with Family, etc. There's walking trails🚶♀️🚶♂️ for everyone to enjoy including our fur babies 🐕🦮🐕🦺🐈. Also picnic tables 🧺 to enjoy a meal along with the view. And benches to relax on. There's dumpsters and garbage cans 🚮 to keep the area clean. And several porta poties 🚻♿️ which is a plus to have.

I really enjoyed this location. I did pass a few people along the way, but not too many. I'm from Massachusetts and I'm glad I took the time to visit this lake after getting a Black Friday deal. Found it on the app AllTrails. The lake is very quiet, not populated much and the beaches around it are uniquely rocky. The hike I took was about 2 miles and was flat the entire way. I highly recommend this beautiful place!

A special place to walk sit or Mountain bike. Great trails and ample parking to kayak or take out your small boat or canoe! Take the dogs and hit the trails. Bring your camera.

We live close by to Masabessic Lake and love going there often using the Rockingham trail. Nice, quiet place, amazing view 👌 Good place to exercise, set the picnic, and just sit there on the bench and watch ducks abd ducklings on the water.

Impressive lake 👍. ⛵ Boating and kayaking allowed. No swimming 🥽. The lake is used as drinking 🚰 water 💦. You even have to make sure your boat ⛵ has nothing on the bottom to prevent invasive species getting into the water. Trails connect to the lake. Parking 🅿️ lot available. Nice views.

Beautiful place, relaxing scenery. We had the massage and meal combo. Food was local, small-ish portion for my hungry belly, but good. Massage was done in a hut with open doors. Very relaxing to hear the wind and bees wooshing around. Would reccomend.

The lavender was in full bloom. They were so beautiful.Employees are generally kind.I felt a little uncomfortable because there was no English sign in the souvenir shop. The souvenirs and lavender pots are a little more expensive than Montreal.Toilet needs to be improved.

Amazing place. It is beautiful, no rush, & a very relaxing day. You can walk through the fields, read a book, have a nap, have a tour, or get a wonderful massage in the fields. They also have a deliscious lunch of smoked salmon on top of a mixed green salad, Quinoa salad and ham and cheese wrap. They have an amazing lavander lemonade and lavander chocolate. I will definitely go back again.
We did a couple's massage with a lunch included it was 120$ person and they will write you a receipt for insurance.
They also have a wonderful gift shop with all their lavander products.

We went on June 23. The lavenders were not in bloom yet, but they charged us full entrance. It was not worth the visit for us, as the view was nothing special and the products available for sale were from last year. I guess it will be nice later though.

Overpriced, overhyped, typical trap. Plenty of free parking, well organized. Products sold a bit on the fake side, regular chemicals infused with lavender. Friendly staff, compensating for the overpriced products with their smiles and kindness. It's good once, but I would not go for the second time.

Was expecting more from the restaurant on site. Its more like a canteen. But it is nice to walk in the fields. Lots of sun, bring umbrella.

This is a farm I enjoy visiting, it is nice to learn about the processes and walk around the fields. I have bought a number of their products and enjoyed them!

A peaceful place to just unwind and enjoy the smell and atmosphere of the enormous lavender fields.
Took the Gorge trail. Easy trail and full of history! Everything was worth the read, honestly! At the end of the trail, we had some local coaticook ice cream cones.
They even have a cave, keep an eye out 👁

This place is convenient if you can use a collapsible stroller, the ticket office is not recommended for both strollers and wagons, you can rent a baby carrier from the ticket office, but this is not very friendly to larger toddlers. The natural scenery along the way says it all, the road is relatively flat and good for walking, and the suspension bridge is stunning, worthy of being the longest suspension footbridge in the world.
Kevin Lee — Google review
It is a beautiful park, I did the longest walk and it took me about 2 hours, allow yourself when you are near the river to bathe your feet, it is an incredibly necessary recharge of energy, it is strongly recommended to go, do not forget to always be respectful of nature.
ALEJANDRO GUILLEN — Google review
Loved visiting this park. Nice hiking trails. Loved the view of the area from the suspension bridge. Beautiful place to visit.
Jodi Lewis — Google review
Beautiful and varied hike. The Gorge trail includes the suspension bridge, a path along the river, and trails in the trees. Will definitely hike here again.
Charlie Butler — Google review
It's worth it. It's only an hour drive for me so if you need to drive farther stay as long as you can to see everything. We went forth bridge which is amazing!!
Britt Moore — Google review
Generally just a great place. Multiple trails, attractions, and even activities. There is a fair bit more than just the suspension bridge here, such as a cave and a lookout tower.
Tickets are fairly cheap (8$ for adults and less for children) and can be bought on-site. They're good for the entirety of the day so you can feel free to leave and come back as you please.
Dogs are permitted, you can have lunch here, there are bathrooms, water fountains, and even a gift shop.
If, after taking the Gorge trail, you still feel like hiking, there are three other trails accessible as well, through the second reception at the camping.
Demitri Desindes — Google review
Nice walk and aside from the bridge, there is a tower to enjoy a beautiful 360 degree view. Entrance fee is 10$ per person. Parking is free.

A good value for the $ but....
I would like to see better signage. There are lots of trail signs but they all leave you wondering if you are actually heading in the right direction. There are maps here and there but several don't show you where you are on the map. We took a wrong turn somewhere and had a heck of a time finding our way back. I'm an advanced hiker and these are gravel paths so I'm not hiking beyond my ability.
Also, when you get to the lighted section there are bare wires in a couple of different spots. I'm not sure if they are live or not but looks sloppy.
As a positive, the area was nice and tidy and the campground looked very nice and was reasonably priced and we would definately recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Scott Fillmore — Google review
Great service, super beautiful! Not a hard hike, more of a walk through. Great experience.
There are 2 activities here. Daytime hiking and at the same exact spot, nighttime lightshow on the trail. Foresta lumina. Night show you don't go as far. Only an hour long. Day you have the full 3.5 km gorge trail and more if you like.
There's a lot more to see than just the bridge. And history to read along the way. There's even a cave you can walk into and a high lookout tower.
You can decide how long you want to walk for as well. Normally it's 3.5 klm. to see everything by the dam.
Tickets can be bought online or right on site. For daytime it's quicker to just buy at the place. Good for all day. And all the trails.
The bridge doesn't move much at all. Maybe if you get someone jumping around a lot.
Also, you can bring your dog if it's on a leash!
And I wouldn't recommend strollers. 3 places with a lot of stairs but people do do it, however not alone!
Also, free to anyone who lives in the area!
Otherwise 8$ adults, 4.75$ first kid (4 to 15) and $3 ea additional child.

Experience was good, and one should visit. If you are planning and thinking if it is worth or not. Then do not doubt as I traveled from ontario to Quebec just to visit this place and it was worth it.
Best will be spending day and exploring the area around like Laiterie de Coaticook ltée

Its like a live story telling experience. so many elements to interact with. the river in between, the Bridge, the fireflies.. wonderful experience. The whole walk takes about 1-1.5hrs depending up the time time you want to spend at each exhibit. Photos done do justice. You have to experience it. book ticket in advance and show up on time. there is a huge line up. Parking available. Visited at 11:30pm it was so worth it: time and money

One word to describe it: AMAZING!
The concept is very unique to what I've seen so far. The decorations and music along with the theme (especially when a natural mist covers the forest) create a truly magical ambiance! I felt like walking through a fairy tale and felt like a child :)

Honestly it was worth it. The walk isn’t to long. The presentation and show is amazing. I did wish it was longer but i had small kids and two people with health issues with me. Amazing idea I’m very excited to return this year. Also affordable.

It's magical! Fun for kids or even a first date! Lots to see! Great music and light shows.
You walk through the woods for about an hour. 2.6 km.
Also over the 559 foot long bridge! Super nice! It really doesn't move much at all, a guide makes sure no one starts jumping before you get on. You don't see how high you are because it's dark.
The lights work along with the music. Short videos too.
Line ups are not at ALL what the used to be because of covid. 30 people at a time.
Also, no guidance needed. You're free to roam and take your time.
Not much of a hike, more a walk.
Exit through the boutique in the end.

Ski resort with downhill slopes, glades & cross-country trails, plus hikes amid fall foliage.
Great hill for skiing or snowboarding. The runs are fairly narrow and in the trees so it feels like your are in the woods. Also a great part of the hill is the lines are not very long to get onto the lift. Especially the side lifts that aren’t at the mail entrance. Worth the trip and very affordable.

My first visit to M’ont Sutton. Came from Toronto to enjoy the fall view. It was mesmerizing. Enjoyed the chairlift ride and all the staffs were so helpful. We even got a glimpse of the rainbow after a short rain. All the toilets were in good condition. But there were no changing tables for kids.

We just spent 5 days at Mount Sutton. First time visit and totally lucked out - fresh snow the night we arrived and it was still coming down on day 1 so we had a powder day! Day 2 we went on an ambassador tour to explore the whole mountain. Alain was so nice and patient with us and we toured with him for 2 half days and got to see the many challenging trails we would not have seen otherwise. He shared with us many anecdotes and history of the mountain and the town of Sutton, which made our trip so memorable. We enjoyed practicing our French and soaking up the French Canadian culture. It’s a no frill community oriented ski resort, very laid back. The rental shop is well stocked and organized, the equipments r in great shape. Most of the staff are friendly and highly professional. We’ll definitely be back.
M Hughes — Google review
Very nice mountain with great views, I really enjoyed my time skiing there! I find that some of the runs are slightly more narrow than in other places, with more trees, which feels more "natur-ey".
Lots of great skiing/snowboarding trails, but if it's your first time skiing, I would suggest going to a different hill (there aren't that many green trails!)
Definitely plan to get there ahead of time (lack of parking and wait time to get your ticket!)
Anastasia Chang — Google review
A charming, old fashioned ski hill with some challenging runs, some easy runs and lots of Glades. We had excellent snow conditions when we went last week. The staff were friendly and we were shown around the mountain by Lynn and Linda, the local snow hosts, or E ambassadors. These women were great, funny and knowledgeable. They showed us both sides of the mountain, through some glades and acquainted us with the mountain. 5 stars to Lynn and Linda! We had a great time at Sutton.

Great and not super busy!
We went at the end of March for some spring skiing and had a day of mud and rain and then a day of fresh powder that quickly turned to slush but it was wonderful! The hill has tons of potential and it’s decently spread out so you can easily avoid other people.
The lifts are a little old but all the staff are friendly and they even encouraged us to do another run 3 minutes before the lift closed. There is parking about halfway up the mountain which is great if you don’t want to start at the base.
There’s also a nice chalet with a great little 2nd floor patio.
The lift tickets and rentals were pretty reasonable especially when compared to tremblant or other more mainstream resorts.
Great spot!

Hidden gem. Great glades. No major hotels but lots of small places to stay close by. Good little town nearby. Great option to save some money compared to Tremblant two hours closer (from the west) than St. Anne or Le Massif and a short hop across the border to Jay Peak, VT.

*update as they have replied:
Let me be clear, your staff wearing safety vests stopped me at the entry of the parking lot, asked me if I had already bought a lift ticket, when i said no they said the mountain was full and to turn my car around.
I appreciate the reply but I was already well aware there are other places to park.
Original review below:
Went here on feb17 and got there at 11am and was told by staff before i got to the parking lot that unless i bought a ticket the day before i could not go because the mountain was full.
The parking lot was visibly overfilled and i would not have minded parking further down and walk there but this is the first time of my life im told an actual ski hill is full.. especially at 11am.
So i had to leave, I drove to bromont 30mins away to still be able to ride and not waste a full day off.

Despite the mild winter the ski conditions have been outstanding thanks to a very dedicated grooming team. Mother Nature has not been kind to folks that love winter but Mont Sutton has made it possible to enjoy skiing on plenty of well groomed runs. BRAVO!
Lydie Rauzon — Google review
First time here but it won't be the last. The conditions of the mountain was far exceeding our expectations considering what the 2024 season has wrought. You can tell they really take care of their runs with lots of snow guns that I can only assume run all night. There is no night skiing. Once the fog had lifted we headed to the highest point where all the blacks and double plus blacks are and we could see that the terrain would provide great fun and challenges. Lots of glade runs will be attempted next year (hopefully) but this year we mostly stayed on piste due to the icey hard pack off piste. All that said, it has a small mountain feel with great runs, at a good price, with people who care more about hitting the slopes and providing a good time. Also, there's a terrific Churro truck as you leave and the smell of FRESH churros will definitely capture you as you head to your car.
Will Wertheim — Google review
We came for the zip lining and did both the giant and the roller coaster, with lunch at the food truck between.
All of the technicians and everyone involved were friendly, reassuring and clear in their instructions in both English and French. The gear was strong and secure.
Each of the 2 ziplines was exciting in it's own way. The giant for its length because the first section is a whole kilometer long, so that first step off the platform seems incredible. Second section is 400 meters, which seems easy at that point. The roller coaster that we did in the afternoon is the only one of its kind in North America.
The day was pretty pricey, but considering all of the people and gear that's involved, it's kind of understandable.
Sheila Southon — Google review
This huge mountain is beautiful. It has over 60 trails, even though they’re not always all open, fair food/snack prices in the chalet, and awesome views from the top. I’ve gone three times in January and the snow powder has been good too. The only downside is that it lacks of green lines, the family zone is small with just two slopes and it is a fairly challenging mountain, making it for people with no experience with ski/snowboard, not the ideal place to learn.

We went up in the summer for a quick lunch and chairlift ride.
Food at the kiosk was okay, but pretty basic. Chairlift ride was fun with great views from the top. Awesome experience and totally worth it for us tourists! If you are in the area I would definitely recommend it as part of your todo list.
Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises is a nature reserve with diverse ecosystems and pathways, as well as an educational center that provides exhibits and programs. The area offers a tranquil atmosphere and picturesque scenery to visitors. Wildlife including snakes, butterflies, dragonflies, and flowers can be seen along the trails. It is advised to bring mosquito repellent due to the prevalence of mosquitoes in the area. The hiking trails are suitable for families with small children as they are flat and engaging for kids.
It was great but because it was such a nice day, it was filled with people and could t take pictures without getting strangers automatically in it.

Une belle place pour marcher, c'est cool, Le parking ce n'est pas cher. Fait le si tu as vu tout au Magog.
Mont-Orford ski resort is nestled in a picturesque mountain offering an array of activities including skiing, snowboarding, hiking and golfing. The trails cater to families with minimum slopes on green trails ensuring snowboarders do not get stuck on flat areas. Scenic views await visitors who follow the 4km trail which initially starts narrow before opening up. Facilities include lodging, dining options at the chalet and cafeteria with plastic divider tables for safety protocols.
Perhaps Quebec's best 9am-4pm "affordable" ski mountain although I wish they added more detachable chairlifts.
Track layouts are great, difficulties are accurately represented although it could be considered on the higher side of each category (a green could be somewhat blue-ish at times). One thing is for certain, if you can ski that mountain well, you can probably ski well anywhere else in Quebec. Snow quality is quite high. The view upthere is breathtaking.
Foodwise, I'd say the pub is a great place to dine in and rest from the sport, but the cafeteria is outrageously expensive for the low-quality of top-up food found there. It's best you bring your own lunch and spend the time on the slopes.
Yannick Khong — Google review
Beautiful mountain with family friendly trails. The 4km trail has scenic views but starts very narrow for a good section before opening up. The green trails have good minimum slope so snowboarders don't get stuck when too flat. The chalet and cafeteria were open for sit in and eating inside, tables have plastic divider. The main lift and gondola are sharing but and wasn't too long the wait. Overall we had a very nice experience there. One thing to improve is the ticket retrieval system which they don't have a self print booth so you'd have to lineup even if you bought online tickets.

A nice ski resort with 3 mountains, the tallest Mt. Orford at 850M. On cloudy winter days, ride inside the gondola and you'll feel like you're traveling into the clouds. Yes it's pretty high. It's not as high as some ski resorts, however it's not bad either. It's still a fairly good ski resort if all the lifts and runs are opened. This resort doesn't offer night skiing at time of writing - which isn't a big deal IMO as can get very cold when the sun's down. Lifts close quarter to 4pm. Which may be a bit early for those looking for a longer day. Though on the flip side, you'll have time for showering and going out for dinner.
The base lodge is nice and well laid out. There's a cafeteria, cafe shop and restaurant/bar in the lodge. There are some benches throughout for those who need a rest.
If you get a multi day pass, it offers tremendous value at about $40 per lift ticket.
What's painful is that each day, they require you to get a new lift ticket despite the fact, they give you a multi day card. They should be able to just scan the card without having to line up again for the lift ticket.
What's unique about this resort is that they have a tunnel like enclosed magic carpet. Very nice for the beginners.
On regular lifts they have a moving platform just past the gates. This helps prevent skiers from falling and makes getting on the lift easier.
Overall, a good ski resort with a decent run lengthy. While suitable for all levels of difficulty, I think it's better for those in the intermediate levels.

Excellent destination to enjoy a day of Autumn foliage. At 2800 feet, there is a birds eye view on the coniferous zone , Christmas tree near the peak and changes into deciduous forest of different colors. It happened to be a day after heavy rain, it is still very enjoyable to see fogs disappeared into partially cloudy weather. Imagine if it is a totally sunny day.

Our tasting was supposed to be 4 wines, and they served 7. Very happy

Storied zoo featuring more than 200 animal species, plus thrill rides & an Amazon-themed water park.
We brought my son here for the first time and he loved seeing all the different animals. The lions, rhinos, giraffes and zebras were his favorite and they were all close enough to the edge of their enclosures that we got a fantastic view. Some of the monkeys seemed to be a bit sick but apart from that the animals looked healthy. There was lots to see and all in all it made for a great afternoon trip.

Price might seem as a little expensive, but if you know that there is a wave pool and tons of free rides, plus 4 continents of exotic animals, it’s pretty incredible that they can keep it at that price!
It takes a full day visit. We visited when the wave pool was not open and arrived at noon. We stayed until 5 and were exhausted (mostly because of heat). So if you arrive at the opening at 10am, at a not too hot day, you should plan for a whole day, from opening to the closing.
Most of the animals seem healthy and well treated. The little ones will learn so much about the animals they saw on TV or Disney movies! Amazed by the muscleman gorillas, by the shear size of the hippopotamus, and the elephants. The animators of the snake, the gorillas and the elephants were super fun for the kids and full of knowledge and they are passionate of sharing their knowledge too!
My son and I had a blast with Lego animal constructions!

Good time with kids. I would recommend you go a week day if you can place was PACKED! And if your not from Montreal plan a hotel and take the two day pass you won’t have time in just 1 day to see everything! I Bought my tickets online so i just walked in no line up

Went to this place with family and do recommend as a great family friendly activity, with loads of animals, long walks and activities for kids. Beware of the expensive admission fee though. They have some XL sized Ginger Tabby cats and a ride that takes you through the good portion of the zoo.

This is a fun zoo outside of Montreal. It’s not too big so it’s great for younger kids.
Several of the buildings are not stroller friendly. Most of the Door openers don’t work so you’re awkwardly holding the firing trying to get a stroller in. The cafeteria doesn’t have a stroller or wheel chair entrance.
The nursing room in the cafeteria was also disgusting. Covered in toilet paper And it smelled like someone had peed all over it. There is also only one in the entire zoo.

My family & I really enjoyed the zoo! My toddler was so excited to see all the animals. He really enjoyed it. Lots of space to walk around & enjoy the outdoor setting. Tickets are affordable. Kafiteria food was ok, but I would recommend bringing your own lunch.

Great very big zoo. If you want to have enough time to see and do everything definitely make sure to arrive before noon. Parking could use some work since p2 is so far away.

Visited Granby Zoo last Saturday and despite the crowds, we were pleasantly surprised to find no waiting times. Once inside, the expansive size of the zoo made it feel uncrowded.
The variety of activities available was impressive, with the standout being the captivating shows featuring different animals presented by the zookeepers.
However, there was a slight letdown as a significant number of animals seemed to be asleep and unengaged with visitors, almost as if they were completely hidden from view. Nevertheless, the zoo proved to be an excellent family outing that I wholeheartedly recommend. The food court was efficiently organized, and the pricing appeared reasonable.
Arriving around 10:45 am, I was able to secure a convenient spot in the P1 parking area, which is in close proximity to the main entrance. Additionally, purchasing tickets online in advance streamlined the entry process.

So for a first timer , we heard so many great things about Granby Zoo, and ended up dissapointed in it to say the least. First of all for a family of 4 (youngest is 2 years old) 97 CAD is a lot !!! And an extra 13 CAD to rent the stroller which is in the gift shop (a 1o min walk from the entrance ), and believe me if you have young kids you will need a stroller or carrier because it is a huge place (took us 4 hours and we didnt even visit it all) . Also bring finger food and snacks along, if you are visiting soon, coz only one restaurant was open and his options were limited to fast food.
On the good side ,we got to see lots of animals , they have a paper map you can get on the entrance to help you navigate your way, it had a big variety of animals...
But if you have sensitive nose , some places are extra smelly 😷 so be careful

Fabulous place for kids and and adults. Beautiful and healthy looking animals. Lots of water pools. Getting food can be a bummer due to long lineups. Big enough to spend 4-5 hours without going in the pool. Highly recommended!

Buy tickets in advance to save money, we went on Canada Day twice now and enjoyed all the animals and attractions possible.
The Wave pool was way too cold to enjoy personally, but it's still fun if you are brave enough.
My 2 boys under 5 had a blast. A yearly tradition has been born.
Rental strollers and wagons are available at a reasonable cost.

We had a great time we started with zoo and the rest on the next weekend as we cannot finish all on the same day. It's a bit expensive but if you are planning to go more than 1 time.... then I recommend you to take the summer pass and visit as many times as you want.
Nadia Qulood — Google review
First of all if you don't arrive at the parking lot at 10am you may waste an hour waiting to park which is inconvenient, the right turn on red at several intersections here should be eliminated!
It is recommended to stay here for two days, one day to see the animals and one day in the water park, there are many types of animals also you can interact with the animals, for example, spend $3 to feed the parrots. The water park has several programs that are very exciting, especially the barrel slides. The rafting program is very suitable for parents and children to experience, smaller children need to wear life jackets. The bumper cars and carousel at the playground are especially popular with children.
Kevin Lee — Google review
We have been a few times already and this time the animals were more active than usual which was great. The experience, attractions and atmosphere are all really good. Don't miss feeding the birds early or petting the manatees, both at the Oceana section.
The bathrooms and facilities were pretty clean and easily accessible no matter where you are.
My only "complaint" is that the price has risen by 20$ per person since the last time we came 2 years ago so that shocked us a bit but the exhibits and the work they do at Granby would justify it somewhat.
They have a new area in the Asia section under construction so we are looking forward to that next year.

Be ready and well prepared for a four hour walking in different continents!
Stroller for kids is crucial, otherwise, parents will get nervous too much by tired kids.

I’ve been to a couple zoos in China and then I went to Granby “zoo”… this was a joke… most areas with the larger animals would have one or max 2 animals that usually didn’t have any energy and were far away. There were only two positive things I could think of. One it was not crowded but there wasn’t much to see anyways. Two the kids enjoyed staying in the water areas more than seeing the animals. I later brought them to a real water park to have more fun. Save your time money and energy from going here and choose another activity.

Fantastic zoo to visit... We went there about ten years ago and loved it. At the time we spent part of the day in the zoo and part of it in the water park. We decided to return and take our visiting relatives along, and despite the hot weather, we truly enjoyed the visit. Some of the animals were too hot and hiding, however we go close and personal with the Siberian Tiger and other animals. One particular experience was being able to touch and caress the stingrays, riding the camel and horse and pony (kids). The layout and map were not easy to read, but generally speaking, the flow is easy and will allow you to see the various sections of the zoo. You can bring your own food and I suggest bringing along a rolling cart (or you can rent one there for about $13). There are restaurants everywhere and ice cream shops as well. The staff is fantastic and very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this zoo for a family outing or visit.

Amazing weekend close the animals😊
The lions, elephants, zebra, rhinos.
I love it and my kid too
The place is pretty clean and well maintained
The part I dislike was the fact that the food offers in the park are mostly sweet and fast food, I think the choice is very limited
I truly advise you to bring your own sandwiches and drinks
The set up to visit is pretty well done so you experience the most out of it

My favorite zoo, super well done for family with young kids, also has waterpark and rides. My only complaint is it's pricey (ticket from 3+ years old) and the park opens only from 10am to 7pm in summer. It's impossible to do everything in one day and parking is not big enough to accommodate on busy weekends. We arrived after lining up for a while in cars to learn that parking is full and have to go elsewhere!!!

The theater is very well design. Visibility and acoustics are superior and there is good spacing between rows. Restrooms are wide and clean and staff is polite and helpful. However, one point that made my experience less enjoyable is the fact that they started allowing drinks into the theater, a decision that translates into frequent spills when people put their glasses on the floor. It is very desagreable when your sit is over an sticky or wet floor. When the spilled liquid is beer, then the smell becomes extremely unpleasant during the whole show. I hope they will reconsider this unfortunate decision that significantly reduces the quality of the place, taking it to the level of a cinema theater.

Replica of a Quebec village circa 1810–1930, with many vintage buildings & costumed actors.
Amazing place for everyone that is interested in history. The moment you cross that tunnel to get to the village, you feel like you're in the early 1900. The characters are all playing their roles extremely well, they will interact with you like you were someone coming from the future and they will show and explain to you their way of living. I personally loved it, i learned a lot of things. 👌

I am an Anglophone who speaks French well. Although I didn't understand all the expressions used by that day (ex: by the town cryer, at the x-ray and the "idea inventing" machine) I thoroughly enjoyed the village experience. The villagers stay in character all day (they move around in the village) and they have some adorable story lines (the men who came back from their 10-month logging trip, the pregnant wife who complains about her husband, etc). You begin by entering a time machine tunnel (very effective) and you can spend hours there with family or friends (any age). The experience this year was very different from last year so I don't know if this was a (positive) one time upgrade or if they change the village experience from time to time.

My partner and I were not expecting the long waits in line to get into each of the haunted houses. I feel that they should have a limit of reservations per day, so that people don’t have to wait in line as long. We waited close to an hour for some of them…
Also, we are very disappointed by the fact that we were RUSHED out of the haunted houses, we wanted to take our time and look at all the cool and intricate decorations that they had. Why invest so much time and money into the decor when the visitors don’t even get the chance to PROPERLY look at them?!
Overall, the decor and actors were very good but there’s a lot in terms of the organization that could be better…

Great place to spend time with kids. Mine 9 years old was really impressed and enjoyed the trip. Old style thematic houses are really special, well maintained and acteurs gives pretty interesting explanation what it was for post office, pharmacy, doctor’s office, barber and a lot more. It has a little farm where you could get by horse forced wagon. There is a little train, ice-cream, donuts, bakery with fresh bread. Worth to spend entire day there! We’re definitely coming back there.

Was disappointed that a lot was closed for a Saturday night. The wooded trail was closed and that's a big reason why we paid to go. They could've posted a warning online. Personally for 40$ each person and we didn't get to do everything, not because we didn't have time but due to the fact it was closed because of rain. It's our own choice and money. Being in a haunted village you would expect to trip and fall on a tree root even during rain or shine. Their excuses weren't valid. Especially since they had pretty good warning signs of not being responsible for any injuries mentally and physically. Don't think I'll go back since a lot we wanted to attend was closed or started to close and say goodbye to people at 22:00 instead of 23:30. No warning online about any of the events or trails being closed that night or closing early due to rain. The actors did good I was enjoying the atmosphere but personally the fact I enjoyed the pop up trailer haunted machine more than anything else. To me that's a personal bust. They had so much potential. If maybe more stayed open especially the woods I would've found it more worth the drive as well as the cost for entry but we were very disappointed. We would've changed our tickets for another day if we knew some of the attractions were closed. We showed up at 19:30.

We visited the village during Christmas of 2020. Everything was well organized and Covid restrictions are well respected. We enjoyed seeing the old buildings and the Christmas vibes. Lots of lights and Christmassy music. It is a nice activity but dress appropriately because all the activities are outside.

My girlfriend and I went for Halloween. The organizers should be ashamed of themselves. They overbooked the event. We waited 2 hours for a single haunted house, it was NOT worth it. After the long line I lost all interest and we left. Considering how much they charge and how many people were there, then they should have increased their budget for actors too. Not nearly enough of them going around. Awful event and a huge cash grab.
Tyler Wood — Google review
Compared to last year and the year before last year, it was so boring and exhausting! Some of the houses did not even have something to provide! You just enter from one door and exit from the other one without anything existing!
The had also canceled out some trails in the woods which was so exciting!
The one which starts from the church! Thus time it was only the church and even the subject was not at all exiting!
I WAS THE FAN BEFORE, BUT NOT RECOMMENDING IT ANYMORE!

Vieille prison de Trois-Rivières is a museum that showcases Quebec's culture as well as a historic prison. The museum opened its doors in 2001 and offers tours in both French and English, although it is recommended to inquire beforehand. During the tour, visitors can learn about true stories that occurred within the jail from an experienced guide who possesses vast knowledge on the subject matter. Notably, exploring the prison's "hole" provides a spooky experience for tourists.
Great experience. Tour was really informative. They don't offer bilingual tours (when we were there) but I was able to translate for my family and the infographics on the walls were french and english. Don't forget to check out the museum attached as there's a section dedicated to the prison. Our tour guide was nice, knew lots about the prison. I would recommend this tour.

This is very unique attraction and a must-visit in Trois-Rivières! You could only visit the site on a guided tour, and it's super cool to see the different floors, and even the dungeons in the basement (if you could even call that a basement). Note that most of the tours are in French, and English tours are not always offered - you could check the website for the timing and availability. There were only French tours when I visited so I took that; however, it turned out that the guide we had talked so quickly that I could barely understand him (maybe only 10%). In comparison, I listened to the French audio-guide at the nearby Museé Borealis and I understood about 70%, and there were even a few times on the prison tour when we passed by other groups and the other guides clearly spoke at a slower pace. I asked our guide if he could speak slower and he did for a few sentences before picking up the pace again (I do understand that without conscious effort it is hard to change your speaking speed).
Additionally, our guide spoke as if he were reciting, which felt a bit robotic, and always delivered a long speech at one or two stops per floor before giving us a long-ish time to explore around. It would have been much nicer if he talked like telling us a story, and made more stops in different rooms with shorter explanations each. Overall, I would love to visit again and perhaps try a different guide in French, and I hope the administration would take note of these suggestions.

Went for the English tour and it was really nice. The tour guide spoke English very well and was very animated and answered questions. The prison itself was small however that didn’t take away from the intrigue.

Very interesting tour with a friendly guide. I did it in French but you can ask for English tour at the reception (it's not everyday that you can have in english!! So maybe it's better to get the information before to go).

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, it has been closed but visitors can still enjoy the surrounding area which includes a beautiful view of the river and an Amphitheater. Not a big museum but it is fascinating, unique, well laid-out and well worth visiting! The scaled-down paper-making machine is so intricate and a sight to behold, and something that you could rarely see anywhere else (unless you work at such a factory)! The exhibits overall had great and clear explanations, and I learned so much about Trois-Rivières's industrial heritage (it was once the most densely populated city in Québec!). But now, the city's historical importance is not well known, so I would highly recommend visiting the museum.
Some other highlights include the corridor leading out to the rivers, which has a preserved water filtration facility and great views; the underground exhibition area where you could see the water filtration machines and even try your hands on pumping water to filter it; and, of course, the former underground reservoir. It is preserved such that there are still water drops/puddles on the ground, and it was just such a unique experience to walk through it.
I would highly recommend spending a few bucks to buy the booklet "Premier « shift »" at the gift shop. It is bilingual, well made and a perfect souvenir on the bygone CIP (Canadian International Paper) days of the city and a great tribute to the people. Also, admission was free the day I visited; I'm not sure whether that was a one-time offering or a regular occurence. Worth asking about.

Cool area to walk around the river and take in the scenery. Low traffic area so great break from the touristy areas of Quebec City

Beautiful park with a nice walking path. If you continue to the cliffs, there are an incredible set of stairs that lead you to a quiet beach with lots of wildlife.

If you want to take a pause, breathe in breathe out, this place is for you. I went here with my bike afternoon and it was really enchanting. The place is clean, surrounded by birds and geese .

Village Vacances Valcartier is a beautiful outdoor recreational complex that features a wave pool and waterslides in the summer and winter, respectively. There is also an indoor waterpark with two pools, more than 14 slides, a surf wave experience, and an adventure river. The Ice Hotel is an amazing addition to this park and is definitely worth a visit!
A fantastic place with a lot of fun and entertainment for adults and kids.
If you go there with your family, be sure you won’t have a boring day or thinking what to do there. The village is very nice and convenient. You will find everything there, from the food to the store where you can get all the equipment, clothes, shoes, etc.
We highly recommend going there to each and every one!

Such a fun experience! We bought the evening tickets and did all the snow tube slides once as well as skated within the time. There were lots of slides to choose from and the lines were not bad at all when I went. The skating path was nice though at some points it was less well maintained. Overall a great experience and definitely recommend for those looking for a winter activity in Quebec.

Winter wonderland. Created beautiful memories out there. First time experiencing snow tubing it was total fun. Mind blowing structures inside ice hotel. Stunning mountains view is a special addition of this place.
Would prefer going as a group of people.

Good place for kids and adults for winter and indoor activities.
Sadly lacking in decent Vegan Vegetarian food options.
Even the fries were fried in the same oil used for chicken causing cross contamination and food allergies.
If vegan or vegetarian please go prepared with some packed food, specially with young kids.

It’s a very nice water park with a lot of green areas. The only problem is that during the summer it tends to be crowded and it’s hard to enjoy the water slides. However, it does not spoil the experience. I recommend buying the season pass in case you live in Quebec and surroundings.

Lot of activities
Not enough places for visitors
Very crowded and you can spend lot of minutes in the line

An incredible destination to revel in a day filled with snow! Whether with family or friends, the numerous mountains offer thrilling opportunities for slipping. The on-site cafeteria provides basic yet satisfying options like poutine and drinks.
Additionally, there's a spacious dining area where you have the flexibility to bring your own beverages and food, adding a personalized touch to your experience.
The cost, at 63.226 CAN taxes included per person, ensures a reasonable outing.
Parking and restrooms are complimentary, and the venue extends its charm beyond winter with an ice hotel and various summer activities. For an optimal experience, especially amidst abundant snow, remember to attire yourself in suitable clothing and footwear to fully savor the joyous snow-sliding moments.

The Ice Hotel is amazing. So much art work to take in. The whole experience was do much fun. Cold but comfortable when dressed properly. Absolutely recommended a stay here, and will be back again.

My girlfriend and I love the winter playground here, we come almost every year and highly recommend buying their season pass.

The Waterpark and snow sliding are so fun, but the amenities are a little slim in the spring season (food, info desk, etc). Bathrooms very clean, though.

Quiet and clean - no waiting lines even though it was a rainy day. Surf spot, death drop, wave pool, hot tub…Lots of fun for kids and adults. Lifeguards and staff were great. Walking upstairs to eat your packed lunch was a bit painful though - you have to walk around the lockers and use different doors to go in an out and all in your wet bathing suit. Overall great price for what you get.

The best we had is this village! We travelled all the way from Ontario to visit this place and trust me you do not regret it.
Even if it’s storm also still we visited this place. I am having the feels still remained after a day!
We are a group of 4 and we had good experience in three spots. One is the Tubing, second one is Bora Park - Swimming and Waterpark, Skating & Ice House. Everything is separate and needed to be paid separately.
One each would be around 30-40$.
Tubing is the best out of all, trust me. You have multiple levels out of all Everest and Himalaya were the best.
Go early and spend good quality time! Parking is there. Even on the top of the glides there are washrooms and heater room.

Fun night activity. We did extreme tubing but weren't able to capture. More fun without cameras. Wish there were safety personnels on the upper part. Churos food truck was also open.

Fun place, but had to ask several people for info, it was not offered. Took a little while to figure out where to rent skates; they were not near the path. Enjoyable skating path with music, exhilarating tubing(sliding).

A big amusement park with a big luxury hotel. There are both indoor and outdoor water parks.
In the winter months, an ice hotel is built in the village. That is a major attraction.

We went to Quebec City for New Year Celebrations, Great experience for children, amazing snow park, 30 min outside of Quebec City. Lockers available for rent, there's a snack shack and a restaurant serving up basic but solidly yummy fare. Employees around tubing areas very helpfull. The activities are fun and enjoyable, would definitely visit this place again when we visit Québec City next time.
Overall great experience!!

We came to Quebec City for Christmas, but there was no snow anywhere except Valcartier. Magic place. Indoor water park and a lot of slopes for tubing. Fun, fun, fun.
Valcartier Bora Parc is a water park that has slides and pools. It is very large and can be crowded. The temperature is perfect, and the staff are very friendly. If you want to have lots of fun together, this is the place to go!
The best place for summer in Quebec city but you need to arrange a lot of food when you come
Thu Tran — Google review
We had lots of fun... but it was a little too crowded. They opened certain sections at various times only, which made it particularly hard to spread out the crowd... I am assuming they were simply short staffed that day. Probably not an issue if they were full staffed.
Everyone was very nice and water temperature and air temperature were perfect. They even let us switch our days free of charge when extraordinary circumstances meant we could not come on the original day we booked.
Holly MacDonald — Google review
We enjoyed an amazing weekend at the resort and were very pleased with the indoor waterpark, snow tubbing and the hotel room.
The reason I only gave it 4 stars was that the food options onsite weren’t great. There are 2 cafeteria style eateries and they both serve the same things with only 2-3 food options. They should add more food that kids might enjoy like pizza and mac n cheese.
There are 2 dine-in restaurants and 1 seems a little too high end for the average family. Most people seem to be ordering delivery from the local town.
Otherwise nice resort and we will be back for sure.

The winter activities is really amazing, we tried all the sports from facile to extreme, however the best ones were tornado and rafting.
Ice hotel itself had some really great figures carved out of ice and having drinks at the bar in a whole carved ice tumblers was a great concept. While the ones in seperate suites were ok if not great.
Since, weather wasn't really friendly to us at the time and we were freezing our hands and legs the whole time, so i suggest others to have complete winter gear rated for skiing or at least suitable for low temperatures.
Only disappointment I have for the place was that it had no microwaves anywhere in common areas, so all the lunchboxes we brought from home were all frozen solid and we couldn't eat those unfortunately.

Went here during March Break. The tubing was so much fun. The Ice Hotel was a great experience. The water park was awesome. Only the price of the food and food itself could have been better.

Arrive 30 minutes before opening and wait in line after changing into your swim suit. Run with your kids directly to the back of the park to the lazy river, this attraction will fill up so fast you will expect to wait 1.5hr in line. You can't bring anything except a towel inside so prepare to store everything in the lockers. It gets full really fast, so show up early and go on the best rides first.
The king room is spacious and clean, very clean bathroom and bath tub, they don't offer cleaning room service, you have to do it yourself no matter how many days you stay, you trade your towels for clean ones. There are no complimentary toiletries, the shampoo and bath gel dispenser is integrated in the tub, bring your own conditioner and shower cap, they do have a hair dryer. The mini fridge is a good size, it's empty on arrival. Single use Kraig coffee machine is available. Good access to jacks at the table to plug in electronics. The cabinets in bedroom have a small closet next to each bed but no hangers, so bring your own if u want to hang things and not just put them in the 4 spacious chest of drawers. 2 tvs, one in living room and one in bedroom, offers Tubi ..etc free apps, smart TV. The spa is fantastic, hot and cold options, steam and dry sauna. Nice super warm indoor outdoor pool. Towels and robe included that u must return upon exiting.

If you have been flipping back and forth whether this is worth the money let me tell you it is worth it. We absolutely loved our three day stay at valcartier. We did the water park, ice hotel and snow slides.
The kids absolutely loved every minute and the hotel as well.
Suggestion: bring breakfast and lunch food so that the price doesn't get too high.
Jennifer Glenn — Google review
Really fun if you come mid winter, but we came a little late, making some of the rides worse cause there was less snow. There’s also an ice hotel that you can stay in. We didn’t stay in it but we checked it out and it’s pretty cool. Most rooms have a theme but some are just basic. Overall a really cool place with a lot of things to do.
MOOSE ME RILEY — Google review
The location was clean and the rides and activities were super fun.
The entry was not well managed (ticket holders and ticket purchasers were in the same line, there were bottlenecks getting into the park itself) and I thought the price was high for a 4 hour window.

It was an amazing experience again!!! It's our second time to a visit here, but this year we did a lot of activities compare to the first one. It was worth it!!!

What a cracker of a place - lots to do indoor and outdoor, it’s a really safe environment with lots of lifeguards and staff and given the amount of people there it’s clean too. The slides and rides are pretty much universally brilliant, the food that is available is pretty good and when we went in July the queues were pretty reasonable. We spent three days in a row with the multi day pass and visited for a whole day at the outdoor water park and two visits to Bora Parc and that was good value and a lot of fun. To put it into perspective I lost count of how many things I actually went on and all of them I went on multiple times!
Great fun for the family and my 8 year old had an absolute blast!

Went here with the family. The kids loved the entire experience. There was hardly any guests during March break which was perfect. There is a wave pool, plenty of slides, and a lazy river. The facility was pretty clean. I definitely suggest to not bring jackets as the rental lockers are not that big and make sure to bring towels, as there is none offered unless you are staying at the hotel there.

Outdoor Water park was extremely clean, life guards were very plentiful and very well focused on the job at hand. Great experience for our family.
Hotel was clean, friendly, modern. Room had mini fridge and coffee maker. Microwave was centrally located on each floor by elevators.

Big entertaining indoor water park. Wave pool, many slides for all ages, free fall slide, surfing, toddlers play area, etc.
Clean facilities, free parking. Be prepared to pay 15$ to rent a locker.

A little chilly must be to much to heat such a big place but still a lot of fun to enjoy the water slides although for the surfing you need to sign a separate consent form to do it!
Nature preserve popular for hiking, mountain biking & kayaking, with yurt & log cabin stays.
Excellent hiking only an hour from Québec city. Costs $11 to hike for the day, giving you access to all the trails, which are well maintained. Trails range from easy to very challenging. Elevation exceeds 350 vertical meters.

We did kayaking. Fantastic experience. If you speak English, be sure to register for shuttle when you book. The French translation was very confusing so we thought we’d wait and ask when we got there. Don’t make our mistake. Book it because you’ll get a separate email with different instructions on where to park, etc. we took 4 kids with us: 11- 18. We had a great time, but it’s a long row. All our guys hung in there and (mostly) loved it. Bring plenty of water.

Beautiful site with multiple challenges pf mountain biking and hiking trails.
The hike to the chute is easy and can be done by the little challengers.
Then continue to the top for incredible views (that’s if you are not into the clouds like we were).
Overall this place is well maintained and will be a fun weekend for the whole family.

What a beautiful trail system. I spent two days there. One day Mountain biking, one day of hiking with my family & some kayaking. Endless water falls, cascading waters & mountain & valley views. All the trails were in great shape. The staff was very polite & helpful with trail suggestions and even got a quick detailer adjustment. The only negatives I could point out are minor - only have porta potties & no food. A tasty burger & beer after my ride would have been awesome but everything was great so no stars lost!!

The trails are well maintained. The Bras-du-Nord trail takes you to a nice waterfall using. You have the option to climb a staircase up to see to an observatory and to transform your easy hike into a medium trail.

One of the best riding experience. Neilson trail aren't easy but so worth the effort. The Tomahawk and Sapiniere are gorgeous. So much diversity of trail and the scenery is just breathtaking. Photos do not do it justice.

Beautiful waterfall and gorgeous views from the top. Easy hikes. Go earlier in the day. We started our descent down at around 6:30pm and the mosquitos killed us. The trails are well laid out and it was very quiet when we went.
About 1.5 hours from Quebec city. I hear its beautiful in autumn.

Was there on Sunday for Fatbiking and it was awsome! Trails were well groomed and we had a blast. We followed the trail going towards the waterfall then went back and to the other side for a challenging climb but very rewarding and flowy ride back down. Trails are groomed overnight so keep an eye on the local weather and go the day after a snowfall for optimal conditions. Will return again soon.
