Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, located in Ipswich, is a grand English-style mansion surrounded by well-manicured gardens and a sprawling lawn that gently slopes down to the seashore. The estate spans 1,200 acres and includes the picturesque Crane Beach. Visitors can tour the first floor of the mansion for $10, while an additional fee of $20 grants access to the second floor.
An incredible place to visit. The house and the grounds are amazing. The first floor was open and included in the $10 entrance fee for nonmembers and second floor was available to tour for an extra charge ($20 per person for nonmembers). There is a half mile long grass mall in the backyard leading to a great view of the beach and marsh. They gave us a pamphlet with information for a self-guided tour. On weekends and summer months, they have additional tours where you can go up to the top floor and the basement.

Nice crane estate to visit though it is a little underwhelming. You get to see the beach after walking the lawn (can be quite a walk with some uphills and downhills). If you want to walk around in the house (lower floor) on your own, it is free. If you want to tour the upper floor, it has to be a guided tour. The tour is in a role-playing format with your docent dressed in a character (usually maid/butler). At the end of the tour they serve you a non-alcoholic beverage and you do a toast to the crane family. You should also take a walk at the casino. It is really beautiful and a nice place to spend time out at, admiring the flowers.

What an estate. The great house is the crown jewel but honestly the lawn to the sea is what totally blew me away! There is small seating arrangements in the back of the house which is absolutely amazing. You can see the sea from two sides and both the views are absolutely breathtaking! The gardens, casino, beach; there are so much that it's almost impossible to cover in a day! I'm going back again for the house tour! I recommend the same to everyone else.

Beautiful castle with beautiful views. We went there on a Saturday. Unfortunately, the castle was closed due to construction work but the gardens were open to stroll around. The gardens are beautiful. The view from the gardens is serene.

The landscape throughout the property is very well kept. The mansion is beautiful inside and out. When you walk inside you can see from the craftsmanship, artwork and sculptural design of the building alot of time and thought went into its making. There are amazing gardens, statues, sculptures and fountains everywhere you look. The green lawns seem to almost roll out down to the beach. Great place to walk around and check out this time of the year.

** Unique castle tour **
I loved how they tour you with some interaction between the fellow visitors.
Our guide was very polite and allowed us to look at things and answered all the questions.
One suggestion though is to allow a little more time to absorb all the beauty of the castle.
The surrounding is jaw droppingly pleasant.
I recommend anyone looking for a castle tour in summers.

Amazing estate with picturesque views. We arrived as a pit stop on the way to Gloucester. We paid the $10.00 per adult pass to get in and tour the grounds. After arriving, we opted for the Guest of the Cranes Tour and the Cupola Tour, which are $20.00 per adult per tour. The tours were both very informative. The Cupola Tour provides outstanding views. The Guest of the Cranes tour provides additional insight into the construction, decorations of rooms / bathrooms, paintings, and history of the family.
The staff are friendly and do not shy away from questions.
I would recommend anyone thinking of visiting the estate to do so!

I had a wonderful time here with my family. We spent several hours here and enjoyed every minute. We toured the marvelous house, explored the grounds and gardens, played checkers on the terrace, and took in the amazing views of the ocean. We later visited Crane Beach, which is a shot drive away.

So many details to see and find so little time. Fantastic tour guide Kate, she knows her stuff. Thanks for the extra library facts! Lovely property to walk around and explore. Don’t miss the gardens!
J B — Google review
I was worried that there would be nothing to do here in winter, but despite the fact that the exhibition inside the house is closed for the winter season, we spent several hours walking along the trails. There is also access to the beach. We really liked it and will definitely come back here in the summer.

The main house wasn't available for tours when we went but the grounds around the house and walking trails through the woods and gardens were open. The landscaping, architecture and statues were all amazing. It was easy to imagine what it was like in it's heyday. Plan on spending 2 hrs or more walking around if you want to see all the points of interest.

One of the absolute coolest places I've visited! I so wish this land could talk with all the history surrounding it. Great tour and guide and some of the most beautiful gardens and scenery. 10/10!

I visited the Crane Estate on a recent weekend, and I was very impressed. The estate is absolutely beautiful, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend visiting the Crane Estate if you are looking for a unique and memorable experience.
The grand manor house is absolutely stunning. It is a beautiful example of Tudor Revival architecture.
The grounds are beautifully landscaped. There are gardens, lawns, and walking trails to explore.
The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the estate.
The estate is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. I spent a few hours exploring the grounds and taking in the beautiful scenery.
Overall, I had a wonderful time visiting the Crane Estate. It is a beautiful and historic place that is well worth a visit

A grand historic home. Self guided tours and a variety of full tours are available. I enjoyed exploring the grounds and grand house. A gift shop is on site with beverages, snacks, and gifts.
We had a fantastic time on the property.
Raymond Gordon — Google review
Such a magical place. The grounds are exquisite with beautifully manicured gardens and wonderful statues as well as informational signs. I have not toured the house yet but its definitely part of the plan for the next trip. Also the beach is not too far of a walk to enjoy the scenery of the dunes and the beautiful beach. A lot of walking but absolutely worth it.
Jocelyn Porciello — Google review
Beautiful estate with larger grounds and access to the beach. We got the ten dollar tickets which gives you access to the grounds as well as the first floor of the house. We spent two hours walking around this beautiful place. Well worth a visit.
Stella Wei — Google review
An incredible architectural monument, which we damaged by coming here two years before closing, because this time is catastrophically short. We will definitely come back here again. The estate is surrounded by an incredible area, a place from which you do not want to return. we were prevented by the rain, we are already planning our next visit here. The staff were polite, all smiling and telling interesting stories about the estate. I recommend a visit.

Beautiful grounds and amazing buildings. It's like stepping into a fairy tale. Love the lawn, the statues, the gardens, the views. Great events, too! The art shows, concerts and holiday events are so much fun.
Taylor Stillman — Google review
We really enjoyed our visit yesterday! The property is beautiful! The weather was rainy but still enjoyable! I ordered our tickets on line without any trouble (there is a military discount offered as well that can be used for the entire family, my husband was in the Navy). I didn't realize that the house is not opened on Mondays to go inside, so that was a little disappointing. But great visit overall!
Pam Defries — Google review
Beautiful place. The house inside is amazing. The architecture is breathtaking.
I suggest you take the full house tour. If you don't you can explore some of the first floor but there is so much more to see if you take the tour.
Don't worry if you see them talking about role playing. That scared my gf away from taking the tour but we saw people on the tour and it was just normal. The tour guide seemed very knowledgeable. I may go back for the tour to see the rest of the house.
My girlfriend and I really enjoyed walking the grounds. There are a bunch of trails you can walk with maps to help guide you. There is also at least one random bathroom we stumbled upon while walking which was awesome it was very clean and it's very environmentally friendly
You can walk right onto the beach from at least one of the trails we walked.
Be prepared to walk a lot if you really want to see most of it. Bring propper footwear.
Check your local library for discounted tickets (possibly free)
Not sure I would bring kids here.
$10 per adult to walk the grounds (you are able to explore the first floor) the tours are a separate charge. Not exactly sure on the pricing on that.
Overall we had a great time. I would definitely go back again.

Absolutely gorgeous estate and grounds! It's set about 15 minutes away from Ipswich station so you'll need to plan on taking an Uber if you don't have a vehicle. The tour was really interesting and the grounds are amazing. If you're in the Boston area this is a must see! I would plan on spending about 3 hours here if you want to see everything.
Amber Webb — Google review
The castle was impressive! Unfortunately we didn't get to go inside as the mansion was closed, but the grounds and other structures were just as impressive. Beautiful Italian architecture, and the views are absolutely stunning.
Located in Somerville, MA, Assembly Row is a popular shopping destination with a variety of stores and restaurants. The mall also offers an expansive waterfront park that is perfect for a day out.
My new favorite sping and summer spot. So many stores to explore. its still fresh and clean. I like that the sidewalks give people ample space. Also the architecture of the whole section was done well. I can't wait for the days to continue to grow warmer so that I can spend more time and explore the whole gambit of stores and restaurants.

This place is beautiful, if INSANELY busy. But what I do not appreciate is the fact that it isn’t patrolled by any security I could find. I looked for someone to talk to about this man and his unleashed dog (who did trip someone right before I started recording). No dogs should be unleashed in public places except dog parks, but especially not super busy shopping centers!
I am medically fragile and TERRIFIED of dogs because, friendly or not, one jump dislocated my hip and is the reason I am parking in handicap parking still.
Please leash dogs people, and, Assembly Row, where do people go to when they need support? I just left and didn’t shop because I didn’t feel and was not safe, but that’s not fair to me. This person should know better, and unleashed dots do NOT belong here.
Kristy Johnson — Google review
Cute area, very festive looking during Christmas and NY! Next to the T (Assembly), many options for food and drink, many options for shopping - clothes, home decor - you name it. You could easily spend a whole day here. The ground floors are mostly shops and above those are newly constructed apartments - I suppose it must be super fancy living there!!

Assembly Row is very nice. There are plenty of shops to purchase clothing sneakers and food scattered around the area, as well as food trucks. Plenty of variety. I noticed that only one place (lucky strike 1st strike) I think one of those names but it's like Dave&Busters and awesome as well but there is only 1 place to go like that there. No other kind of entertainment that I could find. Lovely scenery my the river large grass area and kids park. I can see myself just hanging out in the grass by the river on a sunny day enjoy a few snacks purchased from around the area. Would highly recommend visiting at least one time. Great new addition to the area. The only reason I give it 4 stars 🌟 I feel they need to add more entertainment like escape rooms obstacle course rooms some other form of interactive attractions in the location.

I'm not a big shopper . . . Assembly Row has some very interesting public art . . . it's clean and lively

Beautiful modern mall with a fair amount of parking for the Boston area. Near to public transit and and a large paid parking lot although some large stores have their own free lots. Expect to walk a lot but you will have your choice of stores dining or a movie
Mary Penniston (penny) — Google review
Great part of town. Very urban and chic.
Wayne Gaskin — Google review
I like Assembly Row. It has great stores. It's easy on the eyes because everything is new & maintained. There's a little bit of parking. That being said, I don't understand the layout/ concept for New England - it's essentially an outdoor mall. Add snow and ice and freezing cold temps & wind and it loses it's appeal.
Tracey Aldrich — Google review
Very pretty place , good quality stores as well as outlet, prices are good and there’s a reasonable number of places to eat and rest, marina is nice , assembly subway station on orange line, fast to get from downtown state station.

Pleasantly surprised by the development in this area / mall, shops, cafes, eateries, and business district. A fair amount of construction going around but all-in-all a happening place for sure!

1 of my favorite places. Lots of really delicious food choices and always adding more. Plenty of entertainment and abundant parking, which is also really cheap. Every time I go back something new has opened up. Easy to walk around since everything is in a block format.

It’s a far travel depending on where you are coming from. Typically come here for paint nite at the muse paint bar. Love going there. They have quite a few shops and restaurants. Atmosphere is always nice and never too crowded.

Great theater! The staff is really nice, maybe a tad bit distracted at times but hey, young people.
Clean everything, great quality audio visual and I'm pretty sure every theater on site has comfortable reclining seats!
Dane Kenney — Google review
It's so claustrophobic. They have squeezed so many skyscrapers in a small space. The food and shopping are good but parking is tough and if you plan to be there over 3 hours, you have to pay to park. There are better places to go such as Lynnfield or Burlington.

Night Shift Brewing - Everett
$$$$cheap
Brewery
Local craft brewery featuring a sprawling taproom with communal tables & a variety of beers.
I work in the industry and this is one of the more impressive breweries I have been to. Great beer, staff is friendly, love music, food trucks, tons of outdoor space and sitting near the open garage door inside is nice too. A few very unique beers example they make a spicy habenero pepper beer that was really exciting to try. Worth the drive, wherever you're from!

My mom hosted my Bridal Shower in the private room at Night Shift Brewing's Everett Taproom and it was a dream come true!
The space was recently renovated and looks amazing! Table/Couch configuration is customizable and Night Shift provided a few folding tables as well.
My shower was in February and Valentines Day themed, I am *still* hearing from guests on how great the space was, how everyone enjoyed their drinks (& were so surprised Night Shift served more than just great beer!), and how wonderful Mike and the rest of the NSB team was!

Came here for the comedy night. Beer was amazing. Highly recommend the gingerbread stout. There's also a food truck onsite serving pub fares.

Night Shift Everett offers a wide selection of craft beer and hard seltzers. The industrial chic setting is perfect to have a few drinks with friends or to host a private event. The brewery is dog friendly & offers outdoor seating in the warmer months. Phone Home is one of my favorites. The Weisse Fruit Sours are definitely elevated compared to other local breweries offering sours.

A fun place to hangout. The drinking menu is great, extremely limited food options. Had a smash burger and fries, the burger was messy and I am not complaining! The sauce on the burger was just amazing.

Good collection of beer. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a brewery around Boston. Very close to the city and lots of sitting space.

Good outdoor beer spot. The have live Music and events every weekend. It's a dog friendly place and I don't feel you'll need a reservation.
They have great collection of beers and options. They food truck wasn't that great and could have been better.
Good overall beer place for friends and summer outing.
Dhruv Jaiswal — Google review
Beer is delicious. They have a nice variety as well as options for non-beer drinkers. The sangria slushy is AMAZING!!
The new Night Shift Eats food truck was the only good option the Saturday we went. The food took about an hour to come out.
It was very expensive and the burger was below average.
They only had one person taking order and making food.
We will definitely come back for more drinks, but definitely not for the food.

We had a marathon fundraiser at Nightshift in Everett. The event room is big enough to host up to 100 people. You have your own private bar & bathrooms. Guests can sit at tables or on comfy sofas. There is even a fireplace for colder weather! The staff is amazing and helped with food deliveries and our live musicians. I would recommend this location for any event!

Great beer selection, tasty seltzers and they also have mixed drinks. Board games available, indoor and outdoor spaces to chill, basically the ideal brewery. We were told to go here by somebody in Philadelphia and they were correct, it was a great visit!
Alex Maiter — Google review
Great spot! Very good beer and the taproom scene is great. Indoor and outdoor space, an area with a variety of games (cornhole type games and old arcade video games as well). Food truck situation wasn't as good as some have said it is when the weather is warmer, only saw two trucks outside and one was semi-closed, but will definitely be back as the weather warms up. Definitely check this out!
David Pakman — Google review
It used to be good, and it's a pity it went so much downhill. I used to be a big fan and advocate of their beer, but in the past years they're more focused on variety of beer than on quality. I feel that even their flagship beers lack consistency between batches. They have a nice location, with a large patio. Parking can be very difficult.
Nuno T. — Google review
Both the interior and exterior spaces are open and welcoming. Bartenders were pleasant and efficient. Very large and good beer selection.
Sprawling indoor water park featuring waterslides, an arcade & cabanas, plus an adjacent hotel.
Great place to take the kids on a boring winter weekend. We visited this place on Saturday. Despite the crowd, the line for the water slides lasted 10 minutes maximum. The food is delicious, but try to buy in advance. At some point, a very long line is formed. Come early to borrow the chairs. There is no swimwear shop here so don't forget your swimsuits. We did not notice any shortcomings. The children were happy.
Olga K. — Google review
I went last weekend with my kids and family I believe this is the old coco keys. Let’s start with the prices they are crazy high between the entrance ticket and food , candy and snacks. I also noticed the hot tub was not that clean and had like sand or I don’t know what in the bottom and my feet was touching that. My kids had a lot of fun so did I and my family but I won’t be coming back again due to the prices. I just would like to add that I did get an ear infection after going here and I never get ear infections so I don’t know if that means they don’t clean very good.
Edualyn Lopez — Google review
After reading the reviews I was hesitant to give this place try. My 4 and 5 year old boys had an absolute blast in the water park! The water slides were perfect for them! Unlike the reviews I found the facility to be very clean. The lifeguards were very attentive to all the kids and their safety. I will absolutely be back with my family! It was awesome!

My family and I visited the park last thursday while kids on school vacation and we had a great time there. Despite ariving late at the park to fully enjoy the day pass hours, manager was very understanding of the circustances and offered us to stay as free guests and allowed us to return to the park and be able to use the actually day pass bought and to to take fully advantage of everything the park offers. My family and I are very gratefull for this experience.

This water park is always fun and clean - we’ve been coming for year's! This is my first review though because I wanted to make sure my experience gets acknowledged, and also wanted to share with others who are considering a visit to the park how amazing the manager Jose is. I have no idea if there are multiple managers but on the day we visited Jose was in charge. We had a strange gift card scenario as Jose worked it out with ease - he actually went above and beyond. If you think like me, then you know an establishment is only as good as it's service. The you for everything Jose!!

Had a blast taking my kids here for the thanksgiving weekend. This place is really good for small kids under 10 yo. My kids are 1.5 yo and 4yo. They both have fun. Although the highest slide they couldn’t take , the 4 yo were able to take all the other activities. The ticket price is fare. $30 for night time from 4-9 which not many people. However the locker is a rip off. $10 for such a small locker and $15 for a bigger one which is just enough for winter time for 2 peoples belongings. They only open on weekends otherwise we will definitely sign up for membership.
Maria W — Google review
The waterpark is fun for the kids, the small children area is large enough to have babies and toddlers even big kids play safely together. The middle Parrot Perch area is fun going up and down, waiting your turn for the water slides and unexpectedly being dumped a huge bucket of water. There is an activity for all ages. Minus two stars because yesterday and today, both day we visited, the hot tub/jacuzzi was room temperature, the bar drinks are juice in an ice filled cup and a splash of alcohol not worth the amount of money charged and the food is less than ideal for the prices. I'm yet to find an attraction like this that have decent food though, it's like since you are obligated to buy from them they won't even try to give you good food for the expected expensive price they charge.
Algerys Lopez — Google review
Great place to bring the kids for a full day of fun. Bar for adults to drink 🍸the food is meh and over priced but it's to be expected lol there is a splash area for toddlers/babies. 4 large water slides for older kids and adults. About 4 slides for younger kids. The lazy river is pretty cool! The hot tub area is pretty big, which is great. Tables go fast, so arrive earlier to ensure you get one. They have towels rentals. The lockers are 10 bucks each time you use it, so I recommend bringing a bag with towels, snacks, and drinks to sit at your table while you play and clip your car key inside swimsuit if possible to avoid using one. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the staff is cranky, and you'd expect them to at least try to be excited for the kids. The bar and restaurant close an hour before the park closes. The changing room is very small and has dips on the floor, so puddles form everywhere. Highly recommend water shoes!
Carissa Silva — Google review
this water park is a lot of fun. there was a little bit of something for every age. including the adults. from a lazy river to jacuzzi, to splash pad with a slide which made it extra cool. there was also a swimming area for kids to play basketball and swim around. it was cool. there were different levels of slides. honestly i thought they would be more terrifying then they were but my seven year old and i went on every single one. i think i was more nervous then him. LOL. the water was also about 2 ft deep which was reassuring. you could smell the chemicals in the water which i’m sure is a good sign because we want to make sure we’re not spreading germs. the water even had a sting to it in your eyes. so if you’re someone with sensitive eyes, maybe wear goggles or even have the kiddos wear them also. i could see how it could irritate younger children. my reason for the 3 star is because the staff were all children and that wasn’t the most pleasant thing. a lot of them were really rude. some of the life guards were really kind and others not so much. the kids in the food court in my opinion shouldn’t be all working in there. their customer service skills lacked tremendously. we ordered mozzarella sticks and french fries. both were the lowest quality you could think of. i know you have to start somewhere but at least have a responsible adult overseeing them. also the lockers over charged me by $60.00 which wasn’t cool. hopefully they fix it and will refund me. mackenzie at the front desk was really sweet and helpful. i wish they had a first timer greeting to guide you and tell you more about the park and directions. i had to keep asking questions. which was slightly annoying. the bathrooms were also all very dirty. no stall was clean. idk if it’s because of school vacation or what but heads up. overall we enjoyed ourselves. i don’t think it’ll be our number one choice but maybe when we have nothing to do. for now we’ll continue browsing other options. i will say they do have potential to be a five star but in my opinion it’s a 2.5/3.

The employees at this place were amazing from the frontdesk, management, lifeguards down to the restaurant and Guy's at little store in the front. Having that many people
who are amazing with customer service is really rare. My son has autism they were accommodating to no end. Thank you all so much. Dom at the store you are great and the lifeguard Julius is such a sweetheart. Can't wait to have my son's party there they have an amazing staff.

One good thing, my grandsons had a great time. For the amount of money I paid, I wish I would have gone back to Great Wolfe Lodge. Never ever in my life have I heard that the adults have to pay $80.00 per adult to be there with the children. One the website they just want the children’s names and that was that. But then once you get there and you put the bracelet on the kids they pop on you that you have to also pay for yourself as the guardian. I understand fully I could have gone in the water but I did not want to. And many grownups were there that were sitting there enjoying themselves but you can enjoy yourself as an adult at Great Wolfe Lodge and not have to pay a cent because you are an adult.

Went to a birthday party it was a lot of fun. Well organized great pizza and as much time after the party to enjoy the park as you wanted. Only downside was the big slides were closed for maintenance otherwise it would be 5 🌟

This is a smaller water park than I'm used to, but not overly priced ($45) was not packed when we got there. Lazy river, small play pool with basketball hoops, kiddie pool section, large water slides with and without tubes to use, bigger water playground with slides that adults can use with children, hot tub but signs do say must be 15 years or older to use. You can buy food or swimwear if need be, and they do have table and chairs available, but first come, first grab, or you may only have chairs available. The pool area during the winter months is only open from 11a.m. to 7 p.m., but you can get tired out in these 8 hours.

***Lazy River not included in the shots. They the have full service bar over looking the Parrot Perch - older kids area. The breeze way - snack bar as a pretty good menu. *** no outside food allowed. Reentry is allowed. So we packed a cooler and had snacks, drinks and a meal in the car.

Great place to bring your kids . If not cap codder, definitely bring them here. Drinks are lil expensive, pack some in advance, or there's other options within a 15-minute drive from here. They also have a mini arcade before entering the water park.
Migratory bird refuge with observation towers & fishing & hunting opportunities, plus public tours.
We visited in May to go birding. The refuge did not disappoint. Well kept bathrooms at every parking point, the trails are clean and level. It’s a great place for accessibility.
Visiting in the early morning will most likely get you parking, later in the day it gets quite crowded. Overall a great day trip!

$5 admission fee. It was a bargain if you love to explore and walk, ride a bike 🚲, see giant windmills, birdwatch or hang out by the ocean 🌊.
We went to the Hellcat Interpretive Trail so my kids could have any easy walk and their were a lot of great 👍 reviews for this trail. It was enjoyable.
There was an observation tower that had a good view and we saw an airplane from a local airport fly overhead. Waterfowl were feeding nearby.
Many other trails and observation areas along the way.
Only issue, the unpaved road has huge potholes that needs to be filled! It can make driving challenging and hard on your vehicles' suspension. The road is paved up to the Hellcat Interpretive Trail.
Place is popular. Parking 🅿️ can be a little challenging.
I recommend a visit! Plan to stay for awhile. Bring food and drink. Bathrooms are available. ♿ Accessible to the handicap. Stroller friendly.

An amazing place! Awesome they accept National Parks Annual Pass! Because we visited 2-3 times each day for the 2.5 days we were visiting the area. Caught two incredible sunsets, tried for a sunrise but the gate wasn’t open yet so we went nearby on the beach but it was all fog anyway haha. The boardwalk was amazing. Just an absolutely gorgeous area. Lots of wildlife as well!

Was quite worth the visit during the winter! I came on a particular sunny day with a gentle breeze that meant it wasn't too cold; perfect for a stroll around the refuge. I was very amused by the icy patterns in the marshlands (didn't get too many pictures though as I was trying to stay off my phone and didn't have a camera with me). Parking is scattered throughout the park and more available than in the summer. Parking fees rely on the trust system, still $5, but I'm unsure as to if anyone actually checks. Better safe than sorry!

Go early, it started to get busy by the time we left (around 12) and it's only March! Lovely park with well-maintained boardwalks and a gorgeous beach.

It was surprisingly popular on a chilly, windy winter day. The boardwalk trails at the south end have been upgraded since we last visited. They are lovely. The scenery is dramatic.

Parking lot #4 allows you to take a boardwalk walk with overlooks of the ocean and the marsh. It is a partially shaded walk and very pleasant. The loop with overlooks is two miles. There are several benches along the way.

The best place to bike, watch birds in their natural habitats and also enjoy the beach towards the end of the gravel road. Biking is the best way to enjoy the place and you can get 12 miles in if you park near the entrance. It does get pretty crowded in the summer and I highly recommend getting into the park as early as possible.

One of the best place to visit in Massachusetts if you are a nature lover. It gets more beautiful in the morning and evening times. Plenty of trails, beach access, bird watching, sand dunes, deciduous vegetation and many more. You shouldn’t miss sunset from one of the observation towers.

A little slice of heaven!! This place is so serene and tranquil! You feel like you are in another world. The beach is so sandy and you can still find shells and sand dollars scattered around. The boardwalks over the dunes are a beautiful walk to the beach and there are more boardwalks throughout the wildlife sanctuary through small woods and out into the marshes for some enjoyable birdwatching! Parking is $5.00 for the day and bathrooms are onsite. (Extremely clean!!!)

Really nice beach with a parking lot that is a short walk from the parking lot. We paid $5 for parking (cash only). If there is no parking attendant then you can just grab an envelope at the entrance and rip off the slip and put the money in a dropbox and display the slip on the windshield (at least that is what I did). FYI there are no showers to rinse off after you're done. There was a water filling station inside the information center by the bathrooms but they are not open all day. Overall pretty good experience.

The Isles of Shoals is a cluster of nine small and sparsely populated islands with simple 1800s hotels, churches, and cottages. It is an exceptional place to visit by taking the Island of Shola Steamship authority for approximately 4 1/2 hours trip from Portsmouth, NH. The main island has a big hotel and several small buildings where visitors can enjoy trails around the island and historical sites. The community is excellent, caring, and welcoming to all visitors.
Outstanding place to visit. We took the Island of Shola sSteamship authority for the 4 1/2 hour or so trip which left from Portsmouth, NH. When you arrive at the island you are surrounded bya cluster of Islands and the boat drops you off at the main island which has a big hotel and a numbr of small builders. Atlantic Ocean swim area with day-rate & metered parking, bathhouses, an RV park & event facilities.
This is a good beach for locals or vacationers as it's usually well kept. There's an assortment of shoppes open in the summer and enough activities to spend the day here. The beach is beautiful in winter, the sunrises are just as stunning in February as they are in July. Worth a visit if you're in the area, but there are definitely better areas 20-30 minutes away in Maine.
If you happen to be visiting between May-August the center of sea creatures in worth a visit. Located on the beach, it's a small building with a one-way walking loop inside. There are touch tanks and more information than most can digest in a single visit. The staff are very passionate about their studies as most are undergrads working for the summer.
The beach shoppes are what you'd find at pretty much every other recognized beach / pier area. Toys and summer clothes are available for a higher cost.
If you're 21+ Bernie's Beach Bar is a great place to spend a (probably drunken) evening and night. They have a live showing venue on the second floor with a few mini bars, then a connecting deck with a full bar. We came July 2022 to see Lil Jon and some local artists perform. Not a good place to bring a 'pack of smokes' though, they do a decent search at the door and got mine from the inner seam of my wallet. Oops!

Very nice beach...great wave action and on particularly good days is popular with surfers! Almost like two beaches actually-- sandy and great for swimming to the south, and rocky and made for exploring to the north. Sidenote: very, very popular for walking dogs...I like dogs as much as the next person though like happens so many place they get a bad rep b/c of inconsiderate owners who don't pick-up after them.

Visiting this park in the off season is a very pleasant experience. There are no parking fees. Dogs are welcome on the enormous sandy beach. Two of the three restrooms are open. The size of the playground is so large, and the equipment is so colorful, that if I were a child, I'd consider it an amusement park .

Massachusetts Senior Skip night was handled very well by the Hampton Beach and surrounding area police departments. We grew up coming to Hampton Beach from Maine, and the kids involved were vile and disrespectful. Thank you Hampton, please stay safe. We will continue to help support your town and townspeople. Massachusetts, I am sure you taught your children better, and I am sad these are the times we are living in. I do realize the kids have been locked up with Covid for more than 2 years and have a lot of steam to blow off.

Beautiful beach in the New England area, in New Hampshire. Never expected to see such nice sands and water in the North but the place is amazing. These pics were taken on the 4th of July so expect a lot of people during bank holidays, other than those, it should be super nice.

Scenic beach in the New England area. The cities of Concord and Manchester are nearby. This is a perfect summer destination to add to a New England itinerary, especially headed north to Maine. My itinerary started in Boston and ended in Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine. The Atlantic waters are cold even in the summer. The sunrise is something to behold. On the weekends and holidays, try to get here early for parking opportunities. If headed upstate New Hampshire the white mountains are a must see especially in the fall with the changing leaves.

The beach itself is clean and well-maintained, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, or taking a leisurely stroll along the water's edge. The views of the Atlantic Ocean are simply breathtaking, especially during sunrise or sunset.
The lively boardwalk is packed with restaurants, shops, and amusements, providing endless entertainment options. Whether you're craving seafood, ice cream, or souvenir shopping, you'll find it all here.

This beach is so beautiful and love to visit. We had a family gathering and we all found the staff was very rude to each of us entering, shouldn’t have staff members working with people if they can’t be happy and welcoming. Brought my family whale watching in early August. It was such an awesome experience. The boat was spacious and comfortable(and if you forget your sunglasses like me, they have some for sale at the little shop before you board the boat).
The staff were super friendly and informative, and we were able to see tons of wildlife, including a pod of well over 100 dolphins!
I would definitely recommend Granite State While Watch & will absolutely be returning in the near furture for more fun whale watching adventures! 🐋😊

Haven’t made it back to port yet, but so far so good. Even with a fully booked boat there is still plenty of space even on the upper deck. The staff is friendly as well. This company came recommended to me to which i am inclined to agree.
Edit: nvm they actually hit the whale with the boat. I rescind my recommendation. Came up on two napping humpback whales at the surface. They kept maneuvering the boat closer and closer. I thought the captain must know what he’s doing.. but sure enough BAM! So much for not “disrupting the whales natural behavior”. Whales surfaced a few mins later and started floating/napping again and the boat cruised right over again. This time the whales weren’t taking any chances and dove before the boat got too close. Apparently just another day for Granite State Whale Watch. “We’ll get ya close enough to touch”

my first trip to the area, my first whale watch, and my three grown kids and one kid-in-law in tow for a summer reunion, so I was hoping this would turn out. boy, did it ever! perfect weather and calm seas got us off to a good start. and soon we were seeing pilot whales, sperm whales, finbacks and minkes -- puffing out breaths that shot spray high over the horizon, swimming briefly on the surface, and gracefully diving for another meal.
best of all were the white-sided dolphins! we were lucky enough to visit two *massive* pods of these beautiful creatures, numbering in the hundreds! goosebumps, let me tell you! seeing so many at once was rare and breathtaking!
thanks to the skilled and knowledgeable captain and crew for making this an adventure we'll never forget!

This whale watch tour is amazing! Don’t look any further. Book the trip now. You won’t regret it. We saw so much marine wildlife on our trip - dolphins, seals, whales - it was awesome. We can’t wait to book another trip out there with them. As for the boat, there was plenty of room on board and they offer hot dogs, pretzels, bagels, etc, and drinks for you to purchase. You can also bring your own snacks (no alcohol.) Dress in layers since it’s colder out in the ocean and don’t forget sunblock. 5 solid stars A+++++++

This was the whale watch of a lifetime! We lucked into finding a pod of about 100 dolphins, as well as 6 humpback whales and two kinds of seals. The dolphin experience was absolutely incredible. They were leaping and diving and racing the boat, right next to us and in front of us---everywhere I looked there were dolphins. I've been on quite a few whale watches and this was hands-down the most memorable experience I've had on one. The captain was respectful of the animals and kept his distance while still allowing us to get great looks, and the dolphins were the ones who were coming to us---just like a pack of friendly golden retrievers! It was incredible. The tour was narrated with just enough information to be interesting but not too much. I've already gone on several watches with this company, and I will certainly do so again! Highly recommended.

Parking at the visitors center seemed challenging when I arrived, I drove around and finally found some metered street parking. Apparently, they validate parking in a ramp behind the visitors center. There was also a large surface lot barricaded off for some reason. They offer a free walking tour of Suffolk Mill, a $12 canal tour, a free boarding house museum and $6 self guided tour of Books Mill. Trolleys run to the major sights. I struggled to get an overview of what "Lowell" was and the major sights. It would be nice if they developed a "What to see" in 2-3 hours, a half day and full day, recommendations like many of the National Parks have.

Walk into the Visitor Center to get great information about this historic site. Lowell was designed as a town with textile mills and all of the extensive planning went into creating efficiency, mass production of cloth and a good place for workers. Many women were hired here breaking down the barriers for work outside the household. A short walk or trolley ride from the Visitor Center is the actual mills. Fascinating! Hoping you see the video and spend some time here exploring the sights.

The Lowell National Park is an urban park spread out over a several block area of downtown Lowell. Some of the buildings and activities are free of charge (the main visitors center, the mill girls boarding house, the immigrant experience, and the trolley ride) while others have a small cost (Boott Cotton Mill and boat tour).
Start at the visitors center where they have a short film explaining about the history of Lowell and the Mills, as well as exhibits telling a shorter version of the story you will see when visiting the other sites.
From here you can plan your day: 90 minute canal boat tour, trolley to the Boott Mill (60-90 mins) and mill girls house (20-45 mins), or head the other way to a second mill tour (no idea of time here).
In addition there are many fun and funky art galleries, museums (the quilt museum is a favorite) stores and restaurants between the visitors center and the other sites.
Expansive, kid-friendly theme park featuring roller coasters, water rides, carnival games & shows.
Well put together park. The rides are fun. From the point of view of an extreme coaster enthusiast, these guys have done a great job considering the height restrictions imposed onto the park for rides. Yankee Cannonball is comfortable and fun. UNTAMED is short, but action packed. The park has an excellent, above and beyond; selection of rides for the little ones. My daughter was 4 and had an absolute blast.

My first visit to Canobie was during Screeemfest! Parking is easy & free - if you arrive slightly early you'll be parked pretty close to the entrance. During the first hour of opening, the lines for rides weren't too bad. Towards the end of the night, you had to wait in lines that were at least 30 minutes long. Some lines for rides like The Yankee Cannonball were 45 minutes plus. Even though we didn't get to do as many rides as we were hoping, we had an awesome time & there was so much to see. At dusk, the views over the lake are incredible. We were blessed with an incredible sunset. Lots of spooky decor around the park - we really enjoyed walking around taking it all in. The lines for the haunted houses were crazy so we chose to skip it. I was surprised by the food & drink prices. They are reasonable compared to most parks. A cocktail with a souvenir beaker was under $20 ($15 if I remember correctly), turkey leg was $13, & huge loaded baked potatoes were $9. We were all very satisfied with the food - it was filling & delicious. We had a great time at Canobie & can't wait to return!

A very nice family amusement park that has rides for everyone in the family. To small kiddie rides for the children, to family friendly rides and all the way up to thrill rides, this place has a nice mix. It also has a small water park included with admission in the summer (although gets very packed on hot days) and water rides, plus some shows/other entertainments. Their Halloween event is always a blast with haunted houses too.

The owner of my workplace was generous to treat us to a picnic and day at Canobie! We had a great time.
I have been coming here since I was young. It’s very clean, and not too big. They have a water park, but that was way too crowded for us, sadly. That’s ok though, because we were able to cool off on the flume ride and the Boston Tea Party. They have plenty of benches to sit down and of course the people watching is always entertaining. I’m not good with rides, but my husband had a good time! My son is autistic, and we weren’t sure how well he would do. He tried the skateboard ride, but it was a little too intense for him. There are a lot of options for calmer activities. The food choices were pretty much standard to any amusement park. I was very happy to find a place for alcohol. There aren’t a ton of options, but they have beer located outside the Boston Tea Party ride in a cool looking old style pub, and inside the water park. They also offer AC inside some of the arcades, which was definitely needed as it was very hot that day. I had a great day, and slept like a rock that night!

One of my favorite dates to date. Downside were the long lines. We did ScreamFest and purchased the express passes. $25 to knock out 5 haunted houses in an hr. Worth it considering the lines were so long others were likely waiting the hour to 30 min each. We went on 3 rides had dinner walked around watched the freak show for a bit and then went through the haunted houses. Definitely cannot wait to take the kids. One of the coolest things though, these parks have a fast lane for disabled individuals. Make sure you check with customer service!! If you have someone who physically or mentally cannot wait in lines but enjoy the rides they can get in pretty quickly. Just make sure the attendant sees you. ❤️❤️

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Canobie Lake Park Theme Park with my family, and it was an experience we'll cherish for a long time. The park catered to all ages, from toddlers to teens, and even adults, ensuring that everyone had a fantastic time.
The variety of rides was impressive, with something for everyone. The little ones were thrilled with the toddler-friendly attractions, while the older kids and adults enjoyed the more adrenaline-pumping rides.
One of the highlights of our visit was the flexibility to bring our own food and water, especially for the kids. This is a thoughtful provision that not many places offer. However, if you happen to forget, there's no need to worry. The park offers a wide array of dining options, ranging from vegetarian to non-vegetarian dishes. And for those who fancy a drink, they even serve beer to lift your spirits!
I highly recommend planning your visit on Fridays or Saturdays. The park hosts a spectacular fireworks display and dance party after closing hours, adding an extra layer of fun to your visit. You can check the schedule on their website to plan your day accordingly.
In conclusion, our visit to Canobie Lake Park Theme Park was one of our best family outings. It's a place that truly offers something for everyone, making it a perfect destination for family fun. We can't wait to go back!

I had such a blast here at Canobie Lake Park tonight for Screamfest. I always have a great time whenever I visit. So many fun rides, games, food and so much more to do. I can’t wait to go back again.

We spent the day here, we enjoyed both Castaway Island and the amusement park. One thing both my wife and I noticed, the lifeguards were extremely attentive, very active and moving around, constantly scanning the pool. They had a lot of staff, and all we encountered were friendly and helpful. The value for the price of admission was incredible. The park and the bathrooms were very clean and well kept. Sometimes these places can look faded and worn but we were both impressed with the overall look. There is a good mix of rides for ages 4-16. We would recommend stopping here for a great day!

Canobie Lake Park in Salem, New Hampshire holds a special place in my heart. Having visited as a child, I'm delighted to see that it has maintained its charm and beauty throughout the years. The park's impeccable upkeep is evident in the well-kept flowers that grace its walkways, creating a delightful atmosphere.
Now, as an adult living out of state, I cherish the opportunity to bring my children, aged 8 and 10, to Canobie Lake Park, allowing them to create their own cherished memories. The park's waterpark is a huge hit during the summer months, providing a perfect escape from the heat.
However, with the availability of season passes, I've noticed that the park can become quite crowded at times. The long lines near the entrance during exit times, especially for simple treats like apples, popcorn, and cotton candy, can be a bit frustrating. I personally experienced a wait of over 30 minutes. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience and the joy it brings to my family are well worth it. Canobie Lake Park remains a treasured destination for both nostalgia and creating new memories with loved ones.

What a fun experience for families!! There's something for everyone! From crazy roller coasters to cute little toddler rides! You can spend the whole day here and feel energized! Lots of restaurants and food options... essentially your basic amusement park food.. cute souvenir cups for ice's and drinks.. the kids had a blast! It's a short drive from Boston so it's convenient for people visiting the area.

I have gone to canobie lake park since I was a kid, so over 15 years at this point. I have never done before Screamfest and my friend didn’t warn me you can only buy tickets online. So I arrived and noticed the ticket booths were closed and asked is there anyway to buy tickets in person and they said it’s online only. I do put 50% of the responsibility on my friend for not telling me this. But then 50% responsibility is on Canobie for two reasons. The first reason being this is a location with plenty of booth stations and you could easily have one open to address those who don’t buy online. The BIGGER reason though is this. THEY HAVE NO CELL SERVICE OR PUBLIC WIFI THERE. It is pretty crummy trying to break through the cell service to contact friends and to see if anyone has strong enough cell service to buy a ticket for me. If you are going to have mandatory online passes and you are very aware of your lack of cell service. You should invest in a couple of quality WiFi routers at the front gate so people can hop on it and purchase tickets OR if you don’t want to open a booth, invest in a digital station where you can go to a machine and purchase one.
Now for the second part of this experience I’ll be getting more into the screamfest experience. This experience comes with the caveat that I know staffing can be short some night and all that understandable stuff. I get that. However, nothing really felt that spooky. The walkers around the park had lack luster energy as well as in the haunts. The only one I felt had more energized haunters were the works in the location near Untamed. The other two felt pathetic. And not due to lack of ambience or visuals. The ambience and visuals were great. But the haunt near the tea party ride and near the mine ride were a bummer when it came to being actually scared. Because you can have the coolest visuals you want but when there are a lack of people or the people minimally engage it just ruins the experience. For instance when we went through the haunt by the tea party, I think we managed to walk through 6+ rooms before running into another worker. Then, the workers just hide in corners and barely move. Or just stare at you by a wall. Where is the getting up in your face? Where is the following a person for short periods of time? Making repetitive noises through yelling or banging objects? Again, some workers did do that, but for the 2 I was disappointed in, they really didn’t do a lot.
For the last part of the experience I will talk about the express pass. So, first of all you pay $50 to get in. Then, because we dealt with 40mins of trying to get me into to the place we were running short on time and they close at 11p, AND they obviously have long lines. Now we are thinking we will do the express pass. They have signs for it around the park but the signs don’t actually lead you to the direction of getting them because we tried 2 spots in the park and the people said no. Then we went to the front to guest services and they said go to the gift shop next store. We thought we would pay $25 cause it said that online. No, if you buy it at the shop it’s $30 and online it’s $25 if you match it with your ticket and add it on. Well, obviously with no cell service we couldn’t do that so we had to pay the $30. It was worth it in the sense that you get to the front quick. But again with my review of the actual haunts themselves, it doesn’t feel worth it to spend $80 for the lack luster experience.
All of this to say, I love Canobie lake park as an amusement park and for anyone trying to go there for rides whether it’s spooky season or not, it is a great time. Clean park, clean bathrooms. A lot of food options. I hope they put up more roller coasters cause one can only handle so many spinny ride options, which there are a lot there. And they took down the cork screw which was a roller coaster. But yah as an amusement park, I still love it as an adult. As a spooky place, definitely bummed.

This park is impeccably clean! I mean, spotless. Not even a stray bottle cap on the ground. The bathrooms are spotless. The cleanest amusement park I have ever been too. The lines to rides are long, but move fast. The staff, primarily teenagers/college students, are the sweetest most helpful people! With their energy, you can tell they love their job! I can't wait to go back in October!
4,000-year-old astronomical calendar featuring multiple manmade chambers, a gift shop & alpacas.
What an experience. This place is riddled with mystery and it echoes of the ways it was once occupied. I could spend months here just observing and trying to figure out why things were built and set up the way they were. I personally think there's a hidden chamber near the under ground hall way because the hall just ends but the mound it's under us big enough for another room and there's several holes into the hill that are like air vents or viewing ports.
So cool that it's right here in NH!

For starters, this place is amazing! There is a lot of history to see! As for the attraction itself, it is impressive to see how the people lived in that era. The trails to the sites were okay, but I suggest one wear a good pair of hiking boots or a good pair of tennis shoes with some good traction because I slipped on mud and fell. That said, I highly recommend visiting when the weather isn’t so frigid!
The cost to tour the site was $14.00 per adult. The price is less expensive for children, and a military discount is available. There is also a lovely gift shop with various items to purchase and a small museum connected to the gift shop. A tour map and audio information are available to download on a cell phone. The parking is free, but it is a dirt parking lot, so if it rains, there will be large puddles. Overall the site is worth seeing! You will be amazed.

Went to watch the eclipse. We enjoyed learning about the history of this site and seeing all the remnants of the past. They had a drum circle for the eclipse which was fun. Definitely get there early if they're having special events. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable about the sites.

Very well done site, without being overdone. Research and site history is well presented. Walking tour with accompanying voice tour on the app is excellent. Would be nice to see more 4k yr. ago artifacts, though stone remnants and speculation as to historical context are fascinating!

A sacred place. Such a beautiful, humbling experience. Would highly recommend to anyone, anywhere, of any age- to adventure here. It's open year round, we went on a 97° day but the shade from the trees didn't make it feel as hot as it was. It's open year-round, so we will be going back in the fall when foliage is at peak! We would also love to see & feel it in the winter & spring as well. All times of year offer a different but breathtaking experience. They have alpacas that are adorable near a visitors center which has a small historical museum within it, an area to sit down and watch an informational video about it all, clean working bathrooms and a shop where everyone in the family can find a precious souvenir. My whole family LOVED the experience. 😌 We can't wait to return.

1st time ever visiting here and I've lived in NH for 37 years. I was a shaperone for my sons 7th grade trip. The staff was very polite and real helpful. There's a path u take with 32 attractions that u get to see and learn all about the history of Stonehenge. You get a little device that u play that acts as a private tour guide. The tour is about 90 mins long. After that they have a dig site that u can enjoy to dig up gems and pottery. Over all we were there for 3.5 hours with our lunch. Which they also had picnic tables to eat and a nice gift shop. If u like history and want to learn about Stonehenge its very cool.

Not bad. Good way to spend a couple of hours. I went during the off season so few if any people were around. Photos can look redundant because everything looks so similar but maybe that was because it was winter. Had fun walking on the trails in the area. Pretty in an austere way and serene.

Before heading out from the shop there's a nice video explaining the ruins. The pathways outside were a bit weird and winding. The ruins themselves are in good shape and intriguing.

The alpacas were busy eating, but the rest of the park was beautful. Views in every direction, the app guided tour was great and the map provided was very helpful for a general overview of the landmarks. The museum area and video were helpful for getting history of the site and areas nearby.

We had a great time exploring around the rocks and learning about the history. There wasn't a whole lot to do for the price but the app they have makes it easy to learn and explore on your own.

This was an interesting and amusing adventure. Keeping an open mind is key to this experience. If you are unfamiliar with the site, it may be worth reading the Wikipedia article on it before going. There is more than a touch of what I would call “Oak Island-like mystique.” Don’t take everything you see and read for granted :)
There was a nice welcome center with gift shop. The henge itself is up a hill and well signed for visitors. For the price point, there is not a lot to do. Good for a day-trip.

America's Stonehenge is an enigmatic and captivating archaeological site. Nestled in the scenic landscape of New Hampshire, it's a portal to an ancient past. The intricate stone structures, dating back over 4,000 years, spark curiosity and wonder. The site's natural beauty enhances the experience, making it a peaceful and reflective destination. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply seeking a place of intrigue, America's Stonehenge offers a unique and unforgettable journey into the mysteries of the past.

I didn't know what to expect. I just know it's a place we kept seeing signs for and it was something to do. Definitely not a disappointment. I held off on the 5 stars as there were some closed trails. I was amazed at the accuracy of the sun position statues and monoliths. The app makes it a lot more understandable. We are picture people, and got some beautiful shots.

Worth a visit.
The audio guide it great to help guide you around, the path is very uneven and steep so good footwear needed and less suitable for toddlers unless being worn. Not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Lots of parking and restrooms available,
Would be great to have a few more things for kids on the way round like questions or quizzes or having to count the number of something to make it more engaging for them.
Alpacas there too but you can’t do anything with them, being able to buy food or even walk them for a fee would be an amazing addition.

What I refer to as a happy accident. We were traveling the back roads in MA and saw a sign saying America's Stonehenge, which we had never heard of, so we went to see what it was. Upon arrival was a site of many stones placed in astrological settings and done over 4000 years ago, Showing it had a connection to the well know Stonehenge in Great Britain, Nice hike and many photo ops.

Highly recommended! Tony & his crew were awesome! It did take us 3 tries for a flight due to weather, but the third time was the charm! It was totally worth the wait! Tony was very accommodating giving us priority once he had a cancellation since our previous flights didn’t happen due to weather. At the end of the flight, you get a flight certificate and a champagne toast in hot air balloon cups! There are t-shirts and pins available for purchase as well. The only down side to the whole experience was that there were no bathrooms at the meeting place that you go to at the beginning and end of your flight. Regardless of that, five star experience!!

My husband and I had a great experience on our balloon flight! Tony is obviously very experienced and careful. We had a beautiful day, and could see for a hundred miles or more in all directions! We had a soft landing in a grassy back yard which the residents were happy to see us! Lots of fun and laughs, and I got to take video of a marriage proposal! It's a very unique type of flying experience and I would recommend HIgh 5 as they are safe and fun.

Amazing experience and crew! Tony the pilot was a great air guide showing us all the notable sights and sharing fun facts about the art of hot air ballooning. Interactive experience as we got to help with the set up and take down of the balloon (optional of course but why wouldn't you) and shared a mimosa toast at the end per hot air ballooning tradition. Highly recommend!

Had the crazy idea to ride on a hot air balloon... Well the experience was amazing, we witnessed a beautiful sunrise and the beauty of NH. Tony is an excellent pilot and a resourceful historian. We learned all to be known about our surroundings and the history that has made New Hampshire what they are today. We had a great time and was able to celebrate later with some mimosas. I would recommend anyone to ride with Tony as you will not regret it. Another check on my bucket list for another great experience.

Had a great day floating with High 5 in Salem, NH. The basket was walk-in which made loading and unloading very easy. The support team was a key element to our success as they were at our landing spot ready to help during the landing. Very much enjoyed seeing so many butterflies & moths & beautiful plants. Staff is very knowledgeable & helpful. I had a Blue Morpho butterfly land on me & stay with me for at least 20min. Then another landed on my head & stayed for about 5min. We took my 10 year old nephew & he enjoyed it very much. Another favorite thing was the Quail birds in the habitat. They are small chubby little birds that wander all around & they are absolutely adorable! I definitely recommend a visit.

A good place to learn about and experience butterflies. The staff are friendly. The garden was very nice but small. Overall plan on spending about and hour and a half there between the garden and the display area. We went in March, there are picnic tables. Would be nice to have lunch there in warmer weather.
My 3 yr old loved it. Great place for everyone of all ages.

This place is very cute and small. Because it is pretty small, it can feel very crowded even if there aren't that many people. Also, they have to keep the place warm for the butterflies, so keep in mind you may be sweating while in here. The kids love seeing all the butterflies and trying to trick them to fly onto their hands. Also, be aware that you may have a hitchhiker as you try to leave! During the right seasons, you can buy your own caterpillars that will turn into butterflies for you to release!

A little pricey for what it actually is (just one room with butterflies) as an adult but when I went on a field trip here as a kid I remember it being one of my favorite field trips and thinking it was huge and amazing so definitely a good trip for kids. You really can't spend very long here though so just depends if you have other things to do in the area or if you live nearby. I loved getting a caterpillar hatching kit there as a kid!

This is a great place for a short trip with young kids. Inside the butterfly room the climate feels tropical. You can get up close to watch butterflies doing their thing. Some will probably even land on you. There are also a few other small critters. Expect to spend 5 - 10 minutes in the butterfly room. You can stay as long as you want, but after 5 - 10 minutes you'll probably have seen everything that there is to see.
There is an outdoor picnic area and some wetlands (not affiliated with the Butterfly Place) right outside. We saw some snakes, turtles, and frogs outside after our visit to the Butterfly Place.

This place was made with love and hosts butterflies, other bugs, and two bird species! All animals and bugs appear well taken care of. Inside the greenhouse are plenty of seats, encouraging you to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. To top it off, the employees there are very friendly and love their jobs!
Some may be put off with their rule to not touch the animals and bugs but this rule was made with quality of life in mind. I have been to other butterfly greenhouses without this rule and their butterflies have way more damaged wings and unfortunate butterfly deaths.
Well worth a stop to visit!

I don’t often use the word “magic” but this was legitimately a magical experience. I took my wife and 2 kids (8 & 4 y.o.) and we hung out for over an hour. Even though it’s a small footprint, it does not disappoint. Only issue we ran into is the kids got hungry and tired. My wife and I could have sat their for another hour.

AWESOME place! Had the whole theater to ourselves. Snack bar service is great here! Getting tickets is effortless as staff is very competent and friendly. Safe and fun atmosphere makes you want to come back for more. Location and parking is super convenient. Screen selection and sound selection is great. If you want a basic experience this is for you. If you want the works with ultimate sound and a HUGE screen with a great picture you can upgrade and this place is for you as well.

Ample parking, easy to get to since it's at crossroads of Rt 125 & Rt 101 in Epping, comfortable seats. Depending on time of day or night, quite a number of places eat with a variety of choices from sushi, steak house, seafood, burgers, subs, family type restaurants or just grab a coffee with a friend. If not, there's a Market Basket in the same plaza so go shopping for what you want, for home and make your special family dinner.

Today was my first time taking my wife and 2 boys here. I was reading all these negative reviews about the popcorn prior to going. Let me just say, mine was fresh and warm. Very tasty! Maybe some people don't know the difference between yellow and white kernels?
We got the d-box seats. Our 2 boys loved them. Definitely worth getting if you have kids.

The seats were very comfortable. The sound was good. It is just the popcorn that did not make the cut. There was only salt on the top and no salt. I think there should have been more butter mixed in. The temperature was very nice; it was perfect. I really enjoyed the experience.

Been going to this O’Neil Cinemas every time I come to Epping New Hampshire. Staff is very friendly and the theater is always clean. I’m a huge “Nightmare Before Christmas” fan and I’m so happy for the 30th anniversary of the film, they have showings for the whole season. Seeing it on the big screen was a totally different experience then watching it from home. Very thankful they had this for us to enjoy.

Overall your typical cinema. Seats and concession prices are pretty unremarkable. But the fantastic deal on tickets all day on Tuesdays makes this place really stand out as a great spot.
Wesley Newsam — Google review
We're new to the area so we were very happy to find O'Neil theater. We love that it's so easy to buy tickets online and the concessions are reasonably priced. Overall cleanness was good too. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there were three young girls sitting on the back row just behind us who didisturbed, talked, farted, giggled, threw popcorn, etc, the entire time and after I told staff about the issue, they talked to them but didn't monitor them so they just continued to make it hard on everyone to enjoy the show. I felt like staff should have asked them to leave when they wouldn't conform to theater decorum.
Nanka Robinson — Google review
Theater had a noticeable mustiness and a strong smell of mold. Concessions are very expensive in all theaters, but here the sizes were small for what you paid, and then they solicited a tip on the receipt for handing over an empty cup and a bag of popcorn. The bathroom was foul, with the toilet in one stall covered in urine and what I'm absolutely certain was dried fecal matter on the wall of the other. Picture quality was poor and the seats creaked loudly if you moved at all.

The seats at O' Neil Cinemas were very comfortable. I enjoyed the movie very much and the sound was awesome, very intense at times. The staff at the concession stand were very friendly and professional. I will definitely go back another time!

Place was actually pretty darn good. The screen was very good quality. The sound inside the rooms, is spectacular!!! This place is actually worth the 5 star and I'll suggest people going to an O'Neil Cinema!! People work there, are very nice and seems very wonderfully trained in the social environment as well as customer service. Not one bad thing to say about it at all what so ever

I like this movie theater complex. Staff friendly. I have never ordered concession food there so I have no opinion. Plenty of parking, depending on day. 3D movies available. D-box is overrated. Bathroom was in good shape. I have difficulty sitting in the chair for an extended period of time.
Update: Saturday afternoon, March 2022; My family members and I wanted to sit together but pay for our tickets separately. The three amigos, err, associates who waited on us immediately helped us with suggestions with the best spot to sit and see the movie 🎥. Very friendly service! Bathroom was in good shape. Matinee is more affordable.
Update: Saturday afternoon, December 2022; I tried the nachos with cheese. It is pricey. The food was heated and they tasted okay. The person who I went with likes the popcorn 🍿 and requested extra butter 🧈.

I visited the movie theater around 5 yesterday, and unfortunately, the cashier's behavior was disappointing. There were instances where she whispered rude comments under her breath when I was ordering food and tickets. The girl also had a rude tone the entire time when speaking to us. It's important for customer service to be kind and show manners but I felt like she was being super impolite. I love this place and I would recommend going but this experience just kept it from being 5 star.
Tt Fcfcf — Google review
The staff were rather nice & the theater was actually really cozy instead of an arcade filled lobby like I'm used to. The theaters aren't too big either, which gives it a more intimate feel. Sadly, that means they don't have a lot of leg room, which was my only issue.
K0nstance — Google review
Great place, just feels cramped inside the theater, and the chairs are really uncomfortable. Plus, tickets and concessions are well overpriced as always. I think I paid $7 for a box of junior mints. You’d think with the fad of movie theaters dying out, they’d adjust their astronomical pricing.
Caleb Magoon — Google review
The seats are pretty bad. If you’re small or a kid, you’ll fall into the back of the seat because the chairs are similar to stadium seats. They fold down, therefore they fold up on you if you have a small stature and can’t take up the whole seat.

This is excellent. Lots of trails for the curious explorer and very gently sloped main paths that feel just secluded enough. This park could do with more trash bins and restrooms, though. Anything to keep bags of pet waste off the trails would also be a massive improvement.

Beautiful park with well laid out trails so you don't easily get lost. There's a convenient and pretty clean bathroom by the field. I was disappointed when I returned to my rental car to see that I received a parking ticket. I am from Florida and just wanted to enjoy the beauty of New Hampshire and the changing colors and this is the welcome I receive. I am not familiar with the area and not aware of parking restrictions and didn't see any signs with restrictions at this park. I have traveled to many, many other states and enjoyed their nature trails without being penalized with a parking ticket. I looked around and saw that no one else was ticketed. This put a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel unwelcome because I had out of state plates. I will never go to another New Hampshire park again for fear of receiving more violations. The fine is $200 and there are no warning signs.

I loooveee going to mine falls! It’s absolutely my favorite place to go to exercise/and or walk. I love seeing all the animals. The trails are beautiful. There is all different trails that you can go on. If it’s your first time going there they actually have a QR code to scan where you can look at the entire map of the park so you don’t get lost. It’s an amazing place especially if you want to just listen to music and take in all the scenery it’s very relaxing to me and peaceful. I can always go there and just clear my mind of stress etc.

The park was lovely! The trails were well kept and everyone there was respectful. There was so much wildlife! A great place to birdwatch. You can even see fish in the water. I had a great time, I'll definitely be back next time I'm up that way.

I would like to put an incredible review in for this location not only are they knowledgeable about the team brand and style of what Marc Jacobs is I love going in to the location because the team is so friendly and helpful especially the General store manager Robin who has assisted me times with purchasing. I had a chance to look at the reviews that A person left About her as a Manager From what I understand this is not a review that should ever be applicable to this location or to the this manager.
This review should be removed.

Showed up at 7pm to buy something at this store Marc Jacobs at the Merrimack outlets. Online says the store closes at 9pm. Manager and store worker were still inside with the doors locked not trying to look up to me. I Was trying to get there attention to get an explanation. Doesn’t have good customer service, ignored me until I kept knocking. Comes like 20ft to the front with a written sign that you can even see from the outside because of how far she was standing. I had to speak up an say online says 9pm. You guys need to change those hours if that is not the correct time. At least honor that 1 more customers that comes 30miles away to this specific store instead of not wanting to provide customer service. It’s your job, you were still on the clock. If you hate your job so much quit. At least the store worker was making eye contact and you could tell she wanted to help but because of her manager made her look like a horrible worker.

The Palace Theatre, established around 1915, is a non-profit performing arts venue that features its own theater company and youth troupe, as well as occasional guest music and comedy shows. The staff is known to be incredibly friendly and helpful, while the theater itself boasts stunning architecture with a rich history behind it. With excellent seating arrangements including balcony seats in the front row, families can enjoy top-notch performances ranging from acting to singing and dancing.
Went to do some preliminary research on the Palace Theater as my Paranormal research team is hoping to be doing an investigation there soon. The staff was INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly. The architecture is jaw droppingly beautiful and the rich history of this Theater makes it WELL worth the visit!

My wife and I saw "Christmas Carol" at Palace Theater. Outstanding performance, truly enjoyed the humor and music throughout the play. The theater itself was very comfortable, good seats no matter where you were seated. Staff was super friendly and truly cared about your experience at Palace Theatre. Strongly recommend attending an event at Palace Theatre!

This place is so quaint and amazing. We've seen plays here, Recycled Percussion and each time we come we are impressed. I don't think there is a bad seat in the whole place. Parking isn't too bad because there is a garage right across the street and street parking if you can get it. It's right near some incredible restaurants too.

The seats were absolutely wonderful.. We're 1st row on the balcony and couldn't ask for better seats. My whole family enjoyed it. A Christmas cow is one of my favorite Christmas movies and they performed it to perfection

Wonderful historical theatre...teeny tiny seats... Saw 'Who's Bad' The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience. Fun show! They kindly asked for no dancing in the aisles but had a small dance section on either side of the stage instead!

My husband and I saw Grease. What a terrific show! The actors were incredible. We both loved it so much! I was able to get another friend to go the next day because I told her it was so great. We actually talked about it today and she told me she was blown away as was I. Great job everyone! I can't wait to visit The Palace Theatre again in the future. Beautiful venue! A++++

This was our first experience at this theatre and we have been to a lot of theatres over the years! Absolutely gorgeous place. So amazing to see how much the community supports the arts — the program was so impressive highlighting all the local businesses. Staff was amazing. The show (The Prom) was great! High energy! So much talent! Hats off to The Palace and the community! Well done!

Gorgeous Theater, Festive, Great Crowd:
The Most Entertaining "A Christmas Carol" I've seen!
Full of traditional songs, wonderfully performed and choreographed; and the settings and costumes are visually rich with detail, layer, and texture.
The pace of the show is quick enough for families (it's clear this musical is part of many Manchester families' traditions).
At the bar, the "Fezzywig Fizz" in the adult sippy cups, really adds to the experience. 😆
Oh! And there's a surprise at the end. 🤫

The Currier Museum of Art boasts an extensive collection of both European and American art, ranging from the works of Monet to O'Keeffe. The museum also features a wide selection of decorative pieces in its expansive space. Visitors can expect to see a variety of modern and contemporary art alongside American crafts, including several paintings from the Hudson Valley school. Notable highlights include pieces by Picasso and Van Gogh, making it a highly recommended destination for art enthusiasts.
Relaxing. Quiet. Enjoyable. Interesting. Thesaurus. Words. Oops 😬!
A mixture of modern and what would be considered classic art from mainly Europe 🌍 and the US, including sculptures and furniture available for close up viewing. A few of the pieces, such as the Van Gogh, have a rope in front with a motion detector, but you can get up close to study the pieces. There are benches and a few chairs to sit and observe the 🎨 paintings.
I had a brief tour with one guide and learned of the history of the museum.
I learned of a free admission Saturday that happens each month from the Hippo 🦛 Press newspaper 📰.
There is a small Andy Warhol exhibit which is mostly videos he took of people looking into the camera for several minutes. Celebrities such as Bob Dylan and Lou Reed are shown. This exhibit had been at the museum 🖼️ for about 10 years.
There is a restaurant/cafe available. Elevator for the disabled. Gift shop as well.
If you enjoy art 🎨, check it out!

We didn't actually tour the museum exhibits, though our tickets allowed us entry. We were there to go on a tour of the two Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes which the museum owns. The tour was amazing. I have visited many house museums, and can state that our docents, Jim and Mike, were a great team. Very entertaining and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour to folks who may be interested.

An amazing museum, though compact, has a lot of variety. You'll find some nice European art, as well as American art, including several paintings from the Hudson Valley school. There's some nice modern and contemporary art, as well. The American crafts are nice, as well.

We spent some time experiencing the museum's collections and had lunch at the Café (delicious!) before our main purpose of being there, which was touring the 2 Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes the museum owns. The home tours were fantastic, with very knowledgeable and personable docents.
We would like to go back and spend more time at the museum itself.
We highly recommend the museum, the cafe' and the home tours.

Went here in high school and had to come back when I visited my home state. Beautiful art and exhibits. I was asked to keep my backpack at my side, very politely, not like you'd wear a backpack. But the option of putting my backpack away or in a locker was largely stressed. Even after I mentioned I needed my bag because I carried necessary emergency meds in it. Then was constantly followed and watched by the same 3 people. Even the initial person who told me to keep it at my side and was pressing about putting my bag away said "the Lourve let's people use backpacks like that but not us haha" other than that great art work and informational pieces with them. Still would recommend but I guess maybe bring a purse and not backpack if you have to carry emergency meds like me?

I thought this was a Currier and Ives museum... it is a nice collection of art, has a fairly steep $20 admission... I saw several great pieces of art, but no Currier and Ives pieces. They do manage 2 Frank Lloyd Wright homes, but tours aren't offered that frequently but you can drive by and appreciate the exteriors.

This is a beautiful gem of an art museum. Well worth the trip if you are an art-fan in Manchester, or New England in general. I saw several pieces I could identify as being famous.
The entrance fee is reasonable, and I would recommend the Currier for a day trip. It is on the smaller side. A complete walkthrough of the museum took approximately 2 hours. Museum curators are working hard to be appealing to many different audiences.

Cool mostly modern museum. Late night Thursday and w free concert maybe free for all after 3pm (?). The atrium is gorgeous and music is tasteful. Some big names like Joan Mitchell abstracts (featured in Masterworks platform). Parking on their lot is free.
They also own 2 frank Lloyd wright homes nearby. The spring/summer tours are often sold out in advance on weekends. I haven't been able to get mine!
Livingston Park offers a variety of recreational activities for all ages, including a running track, baseball diamond, playground, swimming pool and boardwalk surrounding a shallow pond. The park's well-maintained sports fields provide ample space for outdoor games, while the one-mile trail through the woods is perfect for jogging or walking with plenty of shaded areas.
I come here at all seasons. The playground is great, the fields are well looked after, and the trail is lovely. My favorite is in the summer when you can see the turtles basking in the sun.

Such a beautiful park to walk or jog around winter, summer, spring, and fall. The trail is about a mile loop that goes around Dorrs pond. You get great views of the water and trees, especially in the fall. There are little wooden bridges and a water fall at points on the trail. Lots of families and dogs here! There is a parking lot here and the trail is located next to a field, public pool and track that you can also walk or run on. Great little local park thats safe and clean.

Great and safe place for outdoor activities and social outings with others. Great trails and paths, cared for fields for sports and recreation, exercise and physical health, or just to kill some time and enjoy the scenery. Some park users can be judgemental of others who also want and love to use the park but have fallen on hard times but are not instantly assumed to be a bad person. I have been directly judged by people regularly, from looks and glares, or sometimes more direct and, even, malice. Please be kinder to those who are struggling but still caring and good people who are making do with what little they have.

This park is great I use it for my maternity photos. Nice bridges plenty of space on the trail for bikes, strollers etc. very nice pond in the middle with water fountain. Always ducks to be seen. Nice big playground for older kids and then in the back smaller playground for little kiddos. Has a couple picnic tables just at the beginning of trail. Also has approximately 3 benches throughout the trail to sit and rest. There are bathrooms near the parking lot. Very bumpy trail so careful not to trip. Also nice for dogs. Don’t forget to pick up after your dog there is some poop so watch where you step. Very well kept park.

Always a great place to walk a mile. A bit icy right now but still manageable. The ducks are hungry and will follow you a quarter mile if they think you might have food. Resist the urge, however. They need to learn how to make their own bread!

I've been coming to this park for nearly 20 years. It's totally people and dog friendly for walking or jogging. The trail is through the woods so it's almost all shaded. People young and old are here everyday. It's safe if you're by yourself too! The trail is 1 mile around the pond. There are well maintained sports fields and a track. There is a large play ground w equipment for children all ages. There are picnic tables. There are benches all around the pond along the trail too. There is a boat ramp and fishing. Not sure what they're catching but the pond is shallow.

Definitely a great park and walking trail around the pond can get pretty busy at times though and people driving need to pay better attention to the foot traffic and their speed.

This is a great place 2 go. I've been going here since I was young. I've always enjoyed riding my bike through the 1 mile long trail around the pond and still do. Great place 4 bike riding, going 4 a walk, have a picnic with family or let your kids have fun on the playground

Whenever we come to Manchester, NH we walk the Livingston Park Trail. It is a nice and easy 1 mile trail around a small pond with ducks and other birds. The trail is mostly wide, gravel, some boardwalks, mostly shady, flat with a few 5-10 foot high gentle hills, and several benches for viewing and resting. There is also a playground and other fields for playing frisbee or other games, sports and walking. Plenty of parking and a reasonably clean bathroom facility. Nice place to eat your lunch from one of the area take-out restaurants that are nearby.
Popular mountain for skiing offering 141 trails, including numerous lit runs, plus restaurants.
Love this place. It was my first season pass and second time snowboarding ever.
The slopes have a good diversity of complexity from bunny slopes, to green, blue, diamond and double black diamond.
There is an insane amount you can do and see here... Numerous bars and cafes to hangout at and the slopes are variable.
The view from the top is incredible.
Sometimes the lines can get insanely long at night and on weekends. I have waited 30mins to get on a lift a few times... But honestly it is worth the wait.

Went back … nearly 30 years after my last visit. It was my goto place at the beginning of the 90’s for mountain biking.
A bit expensive if you don’t bring your bike and you don’t have a subscription. However, it is worth every penny even if you have to rent a bike (they are quite good btw).
Notes: There are a ton of trails of many level. Be aware that the green trails are not as easy as they seem. The same logic apply to the other levels.
Like the old days, doing 4 to 6 descents per day is propably the maximum if you want play safe.

There are many trails to choose from on the snowy slopes, and there's a restaurant at the summit for a great rest. It's an excellent ski resort, and there are plenty of staff on-site to ask for recommendations on the slopes for the day. 👍👍

Bromont’s winter beauty is the perfect place to enjoy a ski day with friends and family. The
mountain contains many trails suitable from beginners to experts. When you are at the peak of the ski mountain, the view is simply mesmerizing, especially during a sunny winter afternoon. The peak also has a resto/café to keep you warm while you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee or their soup of the day while you get to enjoy yhe view.

Nice ski slope, but crowded. We arrived on Sunday and skied on Monday. The Sun was extremely crowded. The Mon was a 1/2 hour wait for the 9am lift. The snow was deep, well groomed and very nice. They had lift loading attendants so the lift lines were not chaotic and elbowing. There is a lot of housing as condo rentals or hotels, so it is a nice destination slope. I recommend it.

Also did the night skiing here. That was top notch.

Great mountain with lots of runs of various difficulty levels. Including several spots with jumps and parks. Runs are well groomed and most are lit up at night if you want to ride all day. There's a cafe at the top of the mountain if you need to warm up.

Probably the best mountain that is in close proximity of montreal. There are many trails for all skill levels, and conditions are fairly well maintained. The facilities are also pretty good, there a chalet at the more popular chairlifts, where you can warm up with a quick bite and some hot cocoa or coffee. At the main chalet there is a bar sit down restaurant where you can relax between ski sessions. The staff are relatively friendly and ski patrol is very attentive for everyone safety. My only complaint is the ski lift by P5 connecting the main mountain and P5, there always seems to be issues causing it to stop. Other then that it’s a great place to ski or snowboard.

Great mountain even though there wasn’t all the runs open. The chalet for food and coffee at the top of the mountain was fantastic, the views were very nice. The only negative was the chairlifts broke down a lot. Overall great experience and our family will be returning for sure.

Great place to learn skiing. The beginner slopes are a good place to start, not too easy, but also not too difficult. You don't need a pass to access the beginner slopes, which is great, but there could be a long waiting line at the magic carpet. Had a lot of fun here!

UNION LIBRE Cidre & Vin is a great place to stop for a sample of great ciders and wines. Eric, the owner, was very polite and helpful. I bought two very good cider aperitifs!
The Cider Aperitif is fantastic! Made from a fire cider fortified with apple brandy. Complex and authentic, it offers a nose of ripe apples that evolves into hints of honey and candied fruit.
Stop by and give them a try!
Kevin Gantz — Google review
While we enjoyed the wines, they were served warm and in plastic glasses in a 4 choice "flight" for $12. We selected a white, a rosée and 2 aperitif wines. I wish they had been chilled. I have visited many wineries in the area and felt the service was less than I had hoped for. We made our selection and were asked to go outside where they would bring it to us. We both felt that this was not the usual tasting experience but the wines would have been better chilled.

Ciders were absolutely delicious, which says a lot considering I'm not a huge cider fan. It was pretty busy when we were there but the owner really took his time to explain their approach/process. Going to be buying a case!

Holy amazing. Best wines we've tasted in QC and VT by far. Their brut is equivalent to Schramsberg in Napa Valley, CA. Both chardonnays were incredible. Likewise for their rose (still) and frissant. We are definitely going back since it's so close to VT, just 5 miles over the border from the West Berkshire crossing!

First time experiencing wineries in the province of Québec and we choose this one as our number one winery to try first . It did not disappoint. Our tasting was done by a very knowledgeable and personable lady by the name of Lucie Bilodeau. Bilingual as well which helped with my anglophone husband. What we found fascinating on how they kept their vines from freezing in the harsh Québec winters
The wines are of high calibres. Well done! Totally worth a visit!

Wine tasting explanation is less friendly than other wineries we’ve tried. I think because they are a bit lack of staff, so the place was a bit busy. It looks like they just finished doing renovation and seems like a good upgrade. The view and the room here is amazing.

The recommended vineyard in Quebec. Tried ones in Ontario and other European ones. This one is not tasting at the COVID. So bought the $28 most expensive bottle of Chardonnay for a try. Announced by the salespersons that it won the medal over blind taste. The wine was also put in the American oak barrel according to the salesperson.
They say the wine is chilled well for opening and tasting outside. When it is opened, they used the screw that doesn’t hurt the cork, but the temperature of the wine bottle is not satisfactory. The taste is hmm, spice, wax and a bit smoky, worse than any bottle even in Costco.
I wanna enrich my knowledge in wine medals here, so I went online according to the photo I took at the shelf. Look carefully, the medal has 2020 and 2018 on it, the bottle is 2019. Not even the medal has nothing to do with the bottle, the website has not mentioned this bottle in none of these years.
This is cheating that I don’t like.

Beautiful winery! They redesigned the customer experience (due to Covid19), with large information boards about the process of how they make wine and the history of L'Orpailleur. I learned a lot about the techniques and the challenges they face year around. No wine tasting obviously, but a warm welcome and the staff can still answer your questions. If in area, don't miss it!
Constance Fodé — Google review
Did a tour for $10 per person, you get a wine glass and three "degustations" that they choose (the blanc, the rose, and the part d'ange), and a visit around the vineyard and a look at the machines. Was guided by Pierre, who was very informative and friendly. Also tasted the ice wine (one degustation for $2), which is definitely a must try. The space is lovely and you can stay in the area for a picnic, etc.

Fabulous breakfast --awesome fruit display on each plate. I enjoyed the egg bagel that came with tons and tons of fruit. Delicious -- not too pricey. Don't be fooled -- the museum is one thing -- the cafe and patio at the back is worth a visit!

Chocolate! What's not to love! Amazingly patient and friendly staff. The owner was fabulous to our bus group. He explained the history of chocolate, did a demo and offered samples. Merci beaucoup. Tres bien, magnifique!
Storied zoo featuring more than 200 animal species, plus thrill rides & an Amazon-themed water park.
We brought my son here for the first time and he loved seeing all the different animals. The lions, rhinos, giraffes and zebras were his favorite and they were all close enough to the edge of their enclosures that we got a fantastic view. Some of the monkeys seemed to be a bit sick but apart from that the animals looked healthy. There was lots to see and all in all it made for a great afternoon trip.

Price might seem as a little expensive, but if you know that there is a wave pool and tons of free rides, plus 4 continents of exotic animals, it’s pretty incredible that they can keep it at that price!
It takes a full day visit. We visited when the wave pool was not open and arrived at noon. We stayed until 5 and were exhausted (mostly because of heat). So if you arrive at the opening at 10am, at a not too hot day, you should plan for a whole day, from opening to the closing.
Most of the animals seem healthy and well treated. The little ones will learn so much about the animals they saw on TV or Disney movies! Amazed by the muscleman gorillas, by the shear size of the hippopotamus, and the elephants. The animators of the snake, the gorillas and the elephants were super fun for the kids and full of knowledge and they are passionate of sharing their knowledge too!
My son and I had a blast with Lego animal constructions!

Good time with kids. I would recommend you go a week day if you can place was PACKED! And if your not from Montreal plan a hotel and take the two day pass you won’t have time in just 1 day to see everything! I Bought my tickets online so i just walked in no line up

Went to this place with family and do recommend as a great family friendly activity, with loads of animals, long walks and activities for kids. Beware of the expensive admission fee though. They have some XL sized Ginger Tabby cats and a ride that takes you through the good portion of the zoo.

This is a fun zoo outside of Montreal. It’s not too big so it’s great for younger kids.
Several of the buildings are not stroller friendly. Most of the Door openers don’t work so you’re awkwardly holding the firing trying to get a stroller in. The cafeteria doesn’t have a stroller or wheel chair entrance.
The nursing room in the cafeteria was also disgusting. Covered in toilet paper And it smelled like someone had peed all over it. There is also only one in the entire zoo.

My family & I really enjoyed the zoo! My toddler was so excited to see all the animals. He really enjoyed it. Lots of space to walk around & enjoy the outdoor setting. Tickets are affordable. Kafiteria food was ok, but I would recommend bringing your own lunch.

Great very big zoo. If you want to have enough time to see and do everything definitely make sure to arrive before noon. Parking could use some work since p2 is so far away.

Visited Granby Zoo last Saturday and despite the crowds, we were pleasantly surprised to find no waiting times. Once inside, the expansive size of the zoo made it feel uncrowded.
The variety of activities available was impressive, with the standout being the captivating shows featuring different animals presented by the zookeepers.
However, there was a slight letdown as a significant number of animals seemed to be asleep and unengaged with visitors, almost as if they were completely hidden from view. Nevertheless, the zoo proved to be an excellent family outing that I wholeheartedly recommend. The food court was efficiently organized, and the pricing appeared reasonable.
Arriving around 10:45 am, I was able to secure a convenient spot in the P1 parking area, which is in close proximity to the main entrance. Additionally, purchasing tickets online in advance streamlined the entry process.

So for a first timer , we heard so many great things about Granby Zoo, and ended up dissapointed in it to say the least. First of all for a family of 4 (youngest is 2 years old) 97 CAD is a lot !!! And an extra 13 CAD to rent the stroller which is in the gift shop (a 1o min walk from the entrance ), and believe me if you have young kids you will need a stroller or carrier because it is a huge place (took us 4 hours and we didnt even visit it all) . Also bring finger food and snacks along, if you are visiting soon, coz only one restaurant was open and his options were limited to fast food.
On the good side ,we got to see lots of animals , they have a paper map you can get on the entrance to help you navigate your way, it had a big variety of animals...
But if you have sensitive nose , some places are extra smelly 😷 so be careful

Fabulous place for kids and and adults. Beautiful and healthy looking animals. Lots of water pools. Getting food can be a bummer due to long lineups. Big enough to spend 4-5 hours without going in the pool. Highly recommended!

Buy tickets in advance to save money, we went on Canada Day twice now and enjoyed all the animals and attractions possible.
The Wave pool was way too cold to enjoy personally, but it's still fun if you are brave enough.
My 2 boys under 5 had a blast. A yearly tradition has been born.
Rental strollers and wagons are available at a reasonable cost.

We had a great time we started with zoo and the rest on the next weekend as we cannot finish all on the same day. It's a bit expensive but if you are planning to go more than 1 time.... then I recommend you to take the summer pass and visit as many times as you want.

First of all if you don't arrive at the parking lot at 10am you may waste an hour waiting to park which is inconvenient, the right turn on red at several intersections here should be eliminated!
It is recommended to stay here for two days, one day to see the animals and one day in the water park, there are many types of animals also you can interact with the animals, for example, spend $3 to feed the parrots. The water park has several programs that are very exciting, especially the barrel slides. The rafting program is very suitable for parents and children to experience, smaller children need to wear life jackets. The bumper cars and carousel at the playground are especially popular with children.

We have been a few times already and this time the animals were more active than usual which was great. The experience, attractions and atmosphere are all really good. Don't miss feeding the birds early or petting the manatees, both at the Oceana section.
The bathrooms and facilities were pretty clean and easily accessible no matter where you are.
My only "complaint" is that the price has risen by 20$ per person since the last time we came 2 years ago so that shocked us a bit but the exhibits and the work they do at Granby would justify it somewhat.
They have a new area in the Asia section under construction so we are looking forward to that next year.

Be ready and well prepared for a four hour walking in different continents!
Stroller for kids is crucial, otherwise, parents will get nervous too much by tired kids.

I’ve been to a couple zoos in China and then I went to Granby “zoo”… this was a joke… most areas with the larger animals would have one or max 2 animals that usually didn’t have any energy and were far away. There were only two positive things I could think of. One it was not crowded but there wasn’t much to see anyways. Two the kids enjoyed staying in the water areas more than seeing the animals. I later brought them to a real water park to have more fun. Save your time money and energy from going here and choose another activity.

Fantastic zoo to visit... We went there about ten years ago and loved it. At the time we spent part of the day in the zoo and part of it in the water park. We decided to return and take our visiting relatives along, and despite the hot weather, we truly enjoyed the visit. Some of the animals were too hot and hiding, however we go close and personal with the Siberian Tiger and other animals. One particular experience was being able to touch and caress the stingrays, riding the camel and horse and pony (kids). The layout and map were not easy to read, but generally speaking, the flow is easy and will allow you to see the various sections of the zoo. You can bring your own food and I suggest bringing along a rolling cart (or you can rent one there for about $13). There are restaurants everywhere and ice cream shops as well. The staff is fantastic and very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this zoo for a family outing or visit.

Amazing weekend close the animals😊
The lions, elephants, zebra, rhinos.
I love it and my kid too
The place is pretty clean and well maintained
The part I dislike was the fact that the food offers in the park are mostly sweet and fast food, I think the choice is very limited
I truly advise you to bring your own sandwiches and drinks
The set up to visit is pretty well done so you experience the most out of it

My favorite zoo, super well done for family with young kids, also has waterpark and rides. My only complaint is it's pricey (ticket from 3+ years old) and the park opens only from 10am to 7pm in summer. It's impossible to do everything in one day and parking is not big enough to accommodate on busy weekends. We arrived after lining up for a while in cars to learn that parking is full and have to go elsewhere!!!

Zoo with many attractions such as an area for viewing animals from cars, a water park & shows.
Nice little spot to stop. Kids loved driving thru and seeing all the animals up close and far off. Getting up close and personal with the deer was also a nice touch. I can’t remember the food being anything special, so maybe bring your own and there was a spot at the end with some games for them to play.

It was just ok. The animals' cages/outdoor space were very small. It was a very hot and humid day and many animals did not have a proper cool off space. It was not a happy moment to see them lay off in the scorching heat. The park had issues with the waterpark tickets and couldn't print properly the tickets, which gave us problem when we wanted access. It was packed with people even though they apparently had limited spots. Overall a bad experience that reminded me why I don't like zoos

I will say this... I will give it 5 stars due to the interaction with the animals was highly decent. Humans tho... Honking at animals banging on the door of cars driving with kids out of sun roofs and jockeying for position... Or going off the road way into the exhibit on service rds... The food court was spacious shops were beautiful and the animals def were a wonderful. It seemed some of the park was closed or in disarray. Over all wonderful visit and def a happy time... Hope to be back next summer

Nice fun place for the family, I would of liked to do some activities but due to covid activities were limited and I was not able to reserve a spot for aqua Park. The food at one place was not so good, overall experience was ok. There is a lot of driving to do (50 minutes drive from Montreal to the safari) then major traffic just to get pass the ticket booths which was about 30-50 minutes long then if you chose to do the safari adventure you can spend 40 minutes but it all depends on what time you get to parc safari

The Parc is a beautiful experience as it combines the wildlife area and safari and the water park. The safari itself was lovely in terms of seeing the animals but couldn’t feed any on the way. The kids enjoyed feeding the deers once back from the ride. The water park was great fun as it had slides and water activities truly suited for all ages.

A good experience especially for the kids to go on a safari in their own vehicle and to keep animals in close quarters. Best of all, you could fed them yourselves. This place also has a big food court as well as couple of restaurants for dine-in too. Parking is huge and so don't worry about that. Being just about 1 hr away from Montreal, this it a fantastic weekend getaway for a family with kids. Also there are lodging options inside there too during summer period as well as good water parks to cool down and hit the waters to escape the heat during the visit. Having a bush electric open safari vehicle is very commendable for the environment. Overall must recommend to visit this safari

A hidden gem for family fun! This wildlife haven offers an array of hobbies for all ages, especially my daughter. The chance to feed animals up close was unforgettable. The water park with thrilling slides added a splash of excitement. A word of advice: dedicate a full day to make the most of this fantastic experience!

Well worth the detour. My kids enjoyed feeding the animals, albeit temperamental. There were wapiti, watusi, zebras, ostriches, camels, and many others. My kids loved the giraffes the most, but those were not on the car circuit. We had to walk to them. The water park is worth the extra fee of you have kids who want to cool off after a visit to see the animals. Bring lettuce and shelled peanuts if you'd rather not buy them.

An amazing place to visit with your friends and family. It was a nice experience to feed the animals. Do not forget to buy the animal food before starting the Safari.
We went there in summers so it was super hot so stay hydrated and do not forget to bring your drinks.
It was crowded at the water park so we did not visit it. Though you have to reserve your spot for the water park.
The only negative point is the price which I think is too high for the place.

First time back in 10+ years, the actual safari feeding is much less interesting. Very few animals to actually feed. Some cool ones to look at, but only the deer seem bold enough to approach the vehicle.
Overall quality of the animal experience is down, but the waterpark and splash pad have been improved. Definitely a good way to spend a day out of the house with kids. They'll enjoy it.

We took our grandson for his first vacation and picked this but we also picked the option of the cool box to sleep over in the park!

Great family trip. I just wish all the pools were open. It looked like there was lots of work being done on the enclosures, so the animals didn't have lots of room. Hopefully, it will be new and nice for them soon! Love being able to feed the giraffe and deer.

Pretty nice place! The animals are really pretty and amazing to see upclose. You need a lot of patience and food for the best experience. You would also need to do it several times to see most animals. Renting a coolbox to stay overnight and have more exclusive activities is a good service they offer. The water parc is pretty atrocious tho…be warned:/. Food is lackluster… just regular fast-food food… not great fast-food food…

The ticket prices are a bit expensive but it was an excellent experience, especially for the family trip I think. You can bring some vegetable leaves which you can have more chances to feed them but you can buy some there. And it’d be nice to use the map and prepare a bit earlier for you kids because the introductions of each animal isn’t much.

Nice zoo with aquatic parcks and swimming pools. The time is defined to start late if you want to do the tour with your car otherwise you have to pay 6$/ person for the truck with the bus which good. Also you can feed animals.

The theater is very well design. Visibility and acoustics are superior and there is good spacing between rows. Restrooms are wide and clean and staff is polite and helpful. However, one point that made my experience less enjoyable is the fact that they started allowing drinks into the theater, a decision that translates into frequent spills when people put their glasses on the floor. It is very desagreable when your sit is over an sticky or wet floor. When the spilled liquid is beer, then the smell becomes extremely unpleasant during the whole show. I hope they will reconsider this unfortunate decision that significantly reduces the quality of the place, taking it to the level of a cinema theater.

Scenic trails with absolutely breathtaking scenery by the lake and at the summit (see pics). The hike isn't hard, but it's probably a long one depending on which route you opt for. I recommend the route "Pain de sucre" for a bird's-eye view of the small town Mont-Saint-Hilaire - you can even see Montreal afar if the weather is pleasant!

Really close to Montreal. The trails are quite accessible for all and there are a variety of trails which can be done (ranging from short loops of 20 mins to 4 hour loops).
The park is very well managed and it’s the perfect location for hiking on hot days because there is a lot of shade from the trees and a nice breeze.
The lake is also great (you can’t swim or fish) to look at or picnic next to.
The views from the viewpoints aren’t very raw or natural but it’s interesting to see Montreal all the way from the peaks.
Overall, definitely worth the trip.

While staying in Saint Jean Sur Richelieu my wife and I decided to take a drive along the Richelieu River which was a very pleasant drive to Fort Chambly. The fort is situated on the Richelieu River and adjacent park. We had a really great time walking in and around the fort. The history and displays made it an enjoyable experience. The guides were helpful and polite and very knowledgeable. The fort and park is very well maintained and worth visiting if you have the time.

Fort Chambly is a historic fort in La Vallée-du-Richelieu Regional County Municipality, Quebec. It is designated as a National Historic Site of Canada. Fort Chambly was formerly known as Fort St. Louis. It was part of a series of five fortifications built along the Richelieu River that were built to protect travellers on the river from the Iroquois. The region is informally known as la Vallée-des-Forts.
Fort Chambly at the foot of the Chambly rapids on the Richelieu River in Quebec, Canada, was built by the French in 1711. It was the last of three forts to be built on the same site. The first — then called Fort Saint Louis — was constructed in 1665 by captain Jacques de Chambly, to protect New France from Iroquois attacks.
After minor repairs, the fort was burned by the Indians in 1702, but was reconstructed the same year. By then it was already known as Fort Chambly. However, with the Great Peace of Montreal in 1701, the war between the French and Iroquois was over. Also at this time the War of the Spanish Succession broke out, and boiled over into the colonies of France and England. Thus, to defend against a more powerful European attack, including the threat of cannon fire, Governor Philippe de Rigaud Vaudreuil ordered that the fort be rebuilt in stone in 1709. The engineer responsible for the design and construction of the new fort was Josué Boisberthelot de Beaucours. He also oversaw major improvements carried out on the fort between 1718 and 1720, modifications he felt would greatly increase the fort's defenses.
For many years Fort Chambly was the main footing of the defensive chain of fortifications along the Richelieu River, which was the easiest invasion route into New France. However, with the construction of Fort Saint-Frédéric (1731) and Fort Saint-Jean (Quebec) (1748) further south, Fort Chambly lost most of its defensive purpose and so was converted into a warehouse and rally-point for soldiers, although the fort was never abandoned. With the Seven Years' War, Fort Chambly was re-fortified and reoccupied, although it failed to stop the British from approaching Montreal and Quebec City. The substantial stone structure which still stands today was lost to the British in 1760 in The Conquest of New France, also known as the French and Indian War.
Captured by American forces on October 20, 1775 during the American Invasion of Canada of 1775–76, it was held until the spring of 1776 when it was evacuated and burned, as the Americans retreated southward to Fort Ticonderoga. Subsequently, prisoners-of-war from the Continental Army, including Colonel William Stacy, were held at Fort Chambly until the end of the American Revolutionary War.
After the Fenian Raids in the 1860s, during which the fort was reoccupied, it was allowed to fall into ruin. In 1881 a citizen of Chambly, Joseph-Octave Dion, personally repaired and restored the site. In the 20th century the Canadian government recognized Fort Chambly's cultural and historical worth and undertook its maintenance. Between 1965 and 1985 extensive archaeological digs were carried out, and today a fully reconstructed version of the final phase of Fort Chambly (1718–1720) is maintained by Parks Canada and is open to the public as the Fort Chambly National Historic Site of Canada.

What an incredible place! Everything is well maintained and clean. The staff are super friendly. Leave yourself a few hours to be able to read the information and take in the sights.
The diorama train collection alone is worth the trip.
My only complaint is that the lighting was dim. It made reading difficult. So perhaps bring a cell phone light/flashlight to be able to see certain items better.

We loved it. The trains were really cool. My son had a blast. The staff were really really knowledgeable and friendly. We loved the part where we could go underneath the train. One of our favourites was the royal Hudson 2850.

Well designed. The museum and the trains are so pretty. The parking lot needs more signs. The additional parking lot is very confusing. No signs to show how to find the museum after parking.

Great museum for a great price. Kids loved having to do challenges before 'entering' the museum all about train safety. Trains kept husband happy too. Wide variety of trains to see. You're able to go inside some, under some. One has been transformed into a play train for kids. The miniature train ride was sold to us as a small figure of 8, but was so much more! Bridges and tunnel. We didn't even mind getting wet! Then we finished up with a street car ride round the museum. Gift shop was well stocked and reasonably priced with everything train you could think off. Restaurant not open bit we always take a picnic.

Wonderful collection of old engines etc in 2 huge buildings. No food court since COVID so pack in or get hungry. Our tour leader was great, then 2 more hrs on our own.

I loved the place. It is an interesting and fun activity for kids and people who love history and trains. You have a lot of train models to visit. A place for children to play and yo can do a little trip in train. I would love to have an option to eat there's the infrastructure, but it was closed the day I went. The place is nice but it could be much better if they make you live the experience some one telling an interesting story inside the train. Go inside and sit down in the royal train, etc

The GPS brought us to the furthest parking lot. If this happens to you just walk down the street and on your left you will see the main parking lot. You have to walk over the bridge to the ticket booth. It was raining and muddy the day we went. The museum was magnificent. The first building we entered was a metal building with minimal lighting but the trains were really cool. The second building we entered blew our minds. The facility was awesome with lots and lots of trains inside. Many you could climb in an experience. We even got to see the underside of a train. This was by far one of the best train museums I have ever been drag to by my husband. Train enthusiasts of all ages will absolutely love this place. Great stop for us!! Worth the trip!

Went there on a Sunday in Christmas time. We planned our visit with 5 children so that they can have a magical time.
The museum in itself is awesome however the way it is managed is very bad.
On Sundays they close at 5 as any other business. However, what they don't tell you that all everything closes at 3:30!
The girl sitting at the information booth gave us wrong information and didn't even mention when things close! She pointed out that Santa is somewhere and we ran all across to see him before he goes only to find out she had no clue where santa was!
The big train ride was closed ( the website did not mention that) and we paid extra $ for each one of us to ride the miniature train that closed without us even knowing! And there was also a coloring activity for kids that had very limited window and closed before 3:30.
The cafeteria was also closed at 3:30, it is like they don't want to work!
Oh they also don't answer the phone! We tried to learn about the different activities they have but no body would answer so we made a one hour trip for this experience.
Absolutely don't recommend. I hope management changes soon !

Google maps instructions lead us to the old Main entrance. It is a bit confusing because the sign that actually tells you where the new entrance is, is on a fence that has yellow tape blocking the entrance.
We weren’t the only customers whom were confused. There were others that came after us parking in the same spot. Perhaps it was the huge model train in the parking lot that distracts you. There is also a sign on the train that tells you the main entrance is 100 m straight and then left. You can’t walk it!
They should fix this.
We finally found our way to the new main entrance parking lot. It is a bit of a hike from the parking to get to the main entrance (We cannot walk with little kids from the parking lot 2 to the main entrance)
We booked our tickets online. We had to buy additional tickets to ride the trolley and the mini train.
We place was nice. There are a lot of different trains and artifacts. The kids really enjoyed the unlimited trolley ride. They had a blast on the mini train.
The place is pretty big. It took us about 3 hours to completely see everything. Which also included an hour lunch off site.
Bring your own lunch as they didn’t have any food to purchase while we were there.

It was fun for my 4 year old to see all the old trains but I felt like it was a bit repetitive and mundane.
We rode the street car and the train. They're very short rides in uncomfortable trains. They didn't let us take our pockit stroller on the street car (even though we had it folded down to a briefcase size and could fit on my lap). They said it would somehow damage the street car.
Park in P1 if you can as it is closer than P2 to the main entrance.
I'm not sure it's worth it unless you're a train enthusiast. If your kids want to ride a train just take the on the new REM system and they'll be just as happy.

I recently visited the Canadian Railway Museum with my friends, and overall, it was a beautiful experience. The museum is a treasure trove for both kids and adults, showcasing the rich history of railways in Canada. However, there were a few aspects that could be improved upon.
Firstly, finding the entrance to the museum was quite a challenge. The signage could be more prominent and informative, as it took us some time to navigate our way there. Clearer directions or more visible markers would greatly help visitors in locating the entrance more easily.
Another area that could use some improvement is the friendliness and welcoming attitude of the employees. While I understand that working in a busy museum can be demanding, a warm and inviting atmosphere goes a long way in enhancing the visitor experience. It would be wonderful to see the staff smiling and readily available to assist and engage with visitors.
Furthermore, the lighting inside the museum could be better. Some areas were dimly lit, making it difficult to fully appreciate the exhibits and read the accompanying information. Adjusting the lighting to ensure proper visibility throughout the museum would greatly enhance the overall experience for visitors.
Despite these drawbacks, I must emphasize that the Canadian Railway Museum is truly a remarkable place. The collection of trains and artifacts is extensive, offering a captivating glimpse into Canada's railway heritage. The interactive displays and educational activities make it an enjoyable experience for kids, and even adults can't help but feel a sense of wonder and nostalgia.
In conclusion, while the navigation to the entrance can be challenging, and the employees could be more welcoming and friendly, the Canadian Railway Museum remains a must-visit destination. The beautiful experience it provides for both children and adults, along with its rich historical significance, makes it well worth a visit. With some improvements in signage, staff attitude, and lighting, it has the potential to become an even more outstanding attraction.

We want there the first Sunday of the month which was Free. The closest parking was full at 11 AM so you have to walk more than 10 min in the cold specially difficult with young children. Many big trains, small one is running in circle, nice decorations for Christmas. There is a cafeteria for lunch with high chair so you can bring your own lunch. I recommend

We visited the Canadian Railway Museum during the 1st Sunday of December. The museum wasn't crowded. The trains were decorated with Christmas ornaments and lights. The Christmas spirit was all in the air. We had a tour with a guide into one of the closed trains. They alternate the tours depending on the season. Moreover, the kids enjoyed DIY workshop in decorating a small train as well as taking a train ride simulation. Unfortunately, we missed the Christmas cookie decorations this time. They say there will be Santa's visit and the Polar Express movie during the following weeks. So, if you are interested in taking part in these activities, just follow the Museum's website. All information is there. Overall, we had an amazing time. This is the place definitely worth visiting !

Fantastic museum for locals and travelers alike! Staff were bilingual/multilingual (French and English) with a wealth of knowledge and were truly a pleasure to speak to. Our tour was self guided, but maps, signs, and employees ensured we were able to see the full indoor and outdoor museum exhibits.
Staff were always available and eager to provide directions, answer questions, point out interesting details, and share stories. The "Streetcar" is highly recommended - this tour allowed us to ride a stunningly restored passenger train to each site on the property. The whole museum could be accessible via walking, but hopping on and off the streetcar was a fun, informative, and immersive experience!
We stayed at the museum for about three hours and enjoyed every minute. Bring snacks, drinks, and sunscreen if you visit in summer.

Absolutely must-visit if you're in Montreal, especially if you have kids. Went on a rainy day but still had a great time. Their entrance seems to have changed from what Google Maps shows - it takes you to parking 2 while the right place should be parking 1 which across the next street. However, the museum has mentioned this in a poster placed at parking 2 to guide visitors to the right place.
The ticket price was reasonable. They have this old fashion toy train that takes you around and gives you a glimpse of how trains functioned in olden days. The gentleman driving it was very jovial and friendly.
The main museum is great as they have life size locomotives at display with interesting facts mentioned about them. Some of these, mainly cars, not locomotives, you can also see from inside. Great fun and very informative.
There's a lunch room and some snacks are available at the gift shop but it's recommended that you carry some food, especially if you have kids along.
Parking was decent. Definitely recommended

Great museum, trains are really nice, great museum for the kids, a bit hard to find the main parking and enterance.
Ana Cristina — Google review
Nice railway museum with lot of locomotives and carriages on display. A bit unfortunate that the only carriage we found you can enter is an old Montreal Metro car, the rest you can only peak through windows. Not much things for kids to interact with. It feels more like an Art Museum so if you like train and enjoy reading the history it's awesome. However, the miniature train outside is probably the thing will be keeping kids entertained.
