Scandia Golfland
Amusement center
Water & Amusement Parks
Fun park featuring mini-golf, an arcade, laser tag, go-karts, water bumper boats & more.
My recent visit to Scandia Golfland was an absolute blast! Located in Fairfield, California, this entertainment center offers a perfect mix of classic fun and modern attractions for visitors of all ages.
Let's start with the mini-golf courses – they're fantastic! With two beautifully landscaped 18-hole courses, each featuring creative obstacles and challenging holes, there's plenty of fun to be had for both beginners and experienced golfers alike. The courses are well-maintained, and the themed decorations add an extra layer of excitement to the experience.
In addition to mini-golf, Scandia Golfland offers a variety of other attractions, including arcade games, batting cages, bumper boats, and go-karts. Whether you're competing for high scores in the arcade or racing against friends on the go-kart track, there's never a dull moment at this entertainment center.
The staff at Scandia Golfland are friendly and helpful, ensuring that guests have a safe and enjoyable experience. The facilities are clean and well-kept, with ample seating areas and shaded spots for resting between activities.
One of the highlights of my visit was the snack bar, which offers a delicious selection of treats and refreshments to satisfy hungry adventurers. From classic snacks like popcorn and hot dogs to refreshing drinks and ice cream, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Overall, Scandia Golfland is a fantastic destination for family fun, group outings, or even a date night. With its wide range of attractions and welcoming atmosphere, it's no wonder why this entertainment center is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

It's a wonderful free learning experience. I wish that there had been someone around but it was a hot Sunday so I can see why not! We caught it in-between season so there were few plants still in bloom (and dry due to the drought) but we did see plenty of bees. While there are picnic tables there was unfortunately no rest room we could find open to the public. I hope it continues to grow and educates more, my companion said he learned something and that's what counts the most!

Great family place! Fun and lots of things to do. The only issue we had was with the staff at the go cart track and them not enforcing the rules and throwing out the wrong people and not rectifying the situation. Arcade was big and fun but zero air conditioning so it was hot in there. Half of the water bumper cars weren't working so it took a very long time to get thru a fairly short line. Lots of food stations so it was easy to get food. Laser tag was fun. Didn't get to mini golf because I have a 3 year old, so I can't review that. Overall we will go again and just hope we don't run into the same issues.
Jessica Ward — Google review
I like having my kids' parties here. They like to play the video games and play on the go carts w 4 hours of unlimited play. The staff is pretty nice too. I noticed it being more expensive though. Also, there is a lack of security. I saw two different instances of people almost start fighting. Both times, there was that 1 level headed person from both sides to calm down the situation.
The other issue is that there are too many ways in and out of that place. It definitely has me on my guard w my kids. It's too easy to turn your head with one to watch them play a game bc they want your attention and the other one end up outside. Hasn't happened to me (yet), but I've seen parents running around frantically looking for a child that got away.

Just a fantastic time. We had a bigger group. Probably like 6 or 8 of us I can't remember. They gave us cards to keep tract so that was fun. We all had some good shots and they were all different so it was fun to go around and shoot all the holes. At the end we tallied up our cards and I took 3rd so that's a W

The mini-golf was fun as always, the race track was a blast and the batting cages were awesome. Can’t wait to come back for my kids free golf/laser tag he won from his hole in one on 18. Great place to take the kids for a fun filled afternoon. Staff is always helpful and prices are decent all things considered.

I like this Scandia. It’s tidy and everything is pretty clear. They have a lot of staff. They have lots of games both individual and two player. My favorite thing to do here is get the four-hour unlimited deal for $40. You can totally beat an entire game with that. I have played Jurassic Park all the way to the end with the unlimited deal. It’s also allows you to try games you never would have before. Not every single game and activity are included, so make sure you read the deal a few times over. I really like the battling cages. They have softball in fast pitch and slow pitch. They have baseball with different speeds, too. The machine definitely doesn’t give perfect strikes every time, though the bats are nice, which kinda makes up for it. The food is meh, better to go to one of the many good places around there to get food. The mini golf is one of the best I’ve seen. They really put a lot of work into the courses. Bathrooms are clean. The sinks are outside the toilets are are visible to the public, which I think encourages people to wash their hands. I didn’t see any obvious hand sanitizer, so bring your own.
Karoline Galea — Google review
Had a fun time with mini golf , there was even a rooster on the course. The arcade was good, some pinballs weren't working, but with the amount of visitors is to be expected.
Had a great time!
Jay May — Google review
We last visited Scandia about 6 yrs ago and wasn't impressed mainly because it wasn't very clean or well maintained. This visit was a very pleasant surprise. The arcade was much cleaner and so much to so for all of my different aged kids. We will absolutely be back.

I’ve been taking my kids to Scandia since they were little. It always seems more fun at night for some reason. Great places for family fun and there is something for all ages. If you like pineapple the pineapple flavor ice cream is delicious!

We come for the mini golf and the play zone. Tuesday has a deal for I believe 4.00 for toddlers. Golf is free for the toddlers as long as an adult pays. They're still too small for the go karts but soon! I absolutely love their late hours and they're open on holidays. Believe me this came in handy after they were stuck at home on Xmas and they wanted to play elsewhere.
Vanessa C — Google review
I like Scandia because they appreciate their customers. Yes it's not a brand new place but I feel like they offer the best value. Also they actually refund you your points if a game doesn't work. At Round 1 in concord I had to speak to 10 different people just to get a refund on a game that didn't work. A÷÷÷÷÷

Lots of fun. The family went to mini golf. We did both courses. Some holes the carpet was wet so walk slowly. The holes had water in it so bring hand sanitizer. Go early before the rush.

Hess Collection winery is a must-visit for art enthusiasts as it boasts mixed-media and large canvas works from renowned artists like Francis Bacon and Robert Motherwell. In addition to their well-known Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, visitors can sample the Viognier in an elegant stone-walled tasting room. The winery also offers garden service during summer months with beautiful valley views.
Hands down, phenomenal. Took the ATV ride, perfect for mom is ADA. Beautiful countryside. Our tour guide, Steve, was the BEST. Intimate experience for wine and cheese tasting. Bonus art gallery. Ever employee was great at accommodating our needs. Incredible, highly recommend when visiting Napa

For a first class wine experience in the
Mt Veeder hills of Napa, Hess is the place. A
Very classy presentation with optional incredible food pairings. They also have most wine varietals, including an Albariño.

We did the ATV Vineyard Tour + Wine & Food Pairing. A bit pricey but we had a really good experience! Steve was a great tour guide. He drove us around and educated us on the grapes and the growing process. He answered a lot of our questions and then took us inside where we had some incredible food that was pair with some equally incredible wines.
We did four wineries during our stay in Napa and this one was our favorite!

Steve was our tour guide. He was great! Very informative and made us feel comfortable asking questions. Beautiful tour and delicious wines!

My experience at Hess Persson Winery was nothing short of exceptional. Our tour guide, Michael, was an absolute gem. His passion for his job was palpable, and his explanations of the winemaking process and the identification of the various trees on the vineyard were enlightening. The wine itself was the highlight of our Napa weekend; in fact, it was the best we tasted throughout our numerous winery visits. The Hess experience truly stands out from the rest. The food pairings were thoughtfully curated and absolutely delicious, enhancing the tasting experience even further. I was so impressed that I immediately ordered wine to be shipped home, and I can't wait to join their wine club soon. Hess Persson Winery has set the bar high for wine tasting experiences in Napa Valley.

We tried to schedule a wine tasting online but they were all booked. I added us to the waitlist and hoped for the best. To my surprise, we got a phone call. They said they had an opening and it just happened to be at a time that worked for us. This winery is a little off the beaten path. There was plenty of parking and we were able to park right out front. We walked up to a hostess and she introduced us to our host who was standing beside her. It’s all appointment only, so I don’t recommend just showing up. We were surprised that all the tours are private right now because of Covid-19.
We started with a quick walk around the facility. If you are into art, there is an amazing art museum you can walk around after your tasting. Our tasting was outside and included a cheese pairing. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. I recommend signing up for a tasting.

Our #1 favorite tasting experience we’ve been to. Tucked away on Mount Veeder, you take a serene drive up to the estate. The grounds were gorgeous, the wine remarkable, and the gallery tasteful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience! Steven was the perfect host, art guide, and wine expert for our group! We plan to return! Thank you!
M-J Junkin — Google review
Visited in January for my birthday and they went above and beyond to make me feel extra special. Currently their tours are all private experiences for just your group. We were greeted with a Pinot Noir Rose before taking a tour of the cellar and barrel room where we got several pours of the Lion Tamer Cabernet Sauvignon. For the rest of our tasting, we were led upstairs to their art gallery. Unfortunately we ran out of time to look through most of the art but a more robust collection than what I was expecting. Our tasting consisted of the Lioness Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Malbec, and Celebration Cuvee. We also got to try their Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon at the end. Our favorites were actually the Pinot rose and lion tamer cab at the beginning of the tour as well as the Malbec. Highly recommend a visit!

Hess was by far one of our favorite experiences on our trip to Napa! Absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, the weather was too rainy for us to do the ATV tour, however, the tour and tasting was still amazing!
We had Cindy as our guide and she was the best- so kind, knowledgeable and fun!
I highly recommend Hess if you’re looking for the perfect combination of an experience (and beautiful art) in addition to delicious wine! The tasting is held inside of the art museum & is such a cool touch! We will definitely be returning next time we’re in Napa!
Kylie Stretch — Google review
Hands down the most beautiful winery we visited. From the personalized wine and cheese experience, to the eclectic art, to the fantastic scenery, it surpassed a five star rating. Our host Cindy was knowledgeable, personable, and a joy to spend time with. There is no doubt we will visit here again next time we are in the area.

Well as most people would come here for their awesome wine, we came for their great art! The concept of combining wine tasting and art galleries is just brilliant. They have so many important art pieces and the space itself it’s breathtaking. It’s better to have reservations.

We ended our long weekend in Napa with a ATV tour of the estate, exquisite wine + food pairing, and visiting the art collection. Stunning location. Our guide Alex was knowledgeable and attentive. This is a don’t miss visit!

Our time at Hess Persson Winery was a perfect blend of excitement and refinement. The staff especially our tour guide Edgar was so welcoming, kind, and accommodating especially when I learned I booked the tour for the wrong date. The ATV tour offered breathtaking vineyard views, setting the stage for a delightful grape tasting. The winery's charming setting added an extra layer of enjoyment. A sophisticated touch awaited us at the end—a cheese tasting in an art gallery. The flavors paired seamlessly with the wines, creating a memorable finale.
Brenda G — Google review
Hess was by far one of my favorites during our week in Napa. Great grounds, great staff, clean crisp wines. The wines were just great. Our guide Michael led us through the tasting and the tour of the grounds. The art is phenomenal and showcases the Hess Persson name and estate. The long family history and traditions are still carried forward into their wine making today. Well worth a visit.
Christian Petrarca — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit today, hosted by Michael. The private tour format was generous and we really enjoyed spending time looking at the extensive art collection followed by a tasting. Sitting amongst the impressive art while sampling wine has been a highlight of our trip to Napa. Beautiful setting and great hospitality.

We opted for the ATV experience with Steve and were lucky to have a perfect day of weather. Steve showed us the property and had so much knowledge of the business and culture surrounding wine. Our tasting afterwards in the gallery was perfect and Steve made for great company. 10/10 would recommend for the views, art, wine, and Steve!
O'Brien Estate Winery is a family-operated vineyard situated on a 40-acre estate in Oak Knoll District. The winery offers reservation-only tours and tastings for guests to enjoy their amazing collection of wines with scenic views of the vineyard. The ambiance is laid back, without fancy settings like other wineries, but the experience more than makes up for it. Visitors can engage in outdoor chats with knowledgeable guides while sipping on excellent wine from this boutique winery.
O’Brien Estate Winery was an amazing experience! An embodiment of what Will Guidara is saying in his book “Unreasonable Hospitality”. Every interaction was positive and our host Chris was so knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. The estate is beautiful and the wines are beautifully unique. One of our favorite spots from our trip and we look forward to coming back.

As many have said this place and their wines do not disappoint. We spent our time on the area divided between the highly marketed, “well known” vineyards and others we have never tried but read or heard good things. When we arrived we were greeted by a great team and the Max took over. His knowledge, sense of humor and perfect balance between storytelling and leaving us alone was amazing. We spent just over 2 hours there, not rushed and enjoyed every minute. The farm is so cool, the “pets” are hysterical. You won’t be disappointed.

Visited O’Brien Winery last month and it was outstanding. Our favorite of all the wineries we visited. You definitely don’t feel like a number here. Our host was Ryan and we learned so much from him. Highly recommend. We will definitely be returning.

Great family-owned winery on a beautiful property. Max was an awesome host. Bart, the owner, happened to be walking around, and stopped over to greet our group of 8 from Miami, FL. We became members. Looking forward to our return visit!

Max was very personable in sharing his knowledge about the winery and the family with us. He seemed to love the winery and the history behind it. We began with a walk through the vineyard while enjoying a glass of wine. We were made to feel as friends visiting friends. The tasting took place in a relaxed setting in the vineyard. The whole experience was awesome and I highly recommend it!!
Becky Singer — Google review
We visited O’Briens on a bike tour of wineries in Napa. It wasn’t a winery that I had read about in any guidebooks or websites, and we went because it was convenient for the bike route. I’m so pleased we did, and it was the best experience we had at a winery. The surroundings were beautiful, the wine was excellent, and the staff were great. I can’t compliment Ben, who showed us around, enough. As well as being knowledgeable, he was friendly, and made the experience feel very personalised. He also didn’t judge us about the fact we knew nothing about wine. Thanks to the whole team, it was one of the highlights of our trip.
Tobes Merriman — Google review
Ok I have nothing but glowing things to say about this vineyard.
1) the property is gorgeous. Situated around the vineyards and with mountain views it’s such a relaxing environment.
2) the relaxing atmosphere. My friend and I did a wine tasting that was held outside with comfy chairs, blankets, heating lamp, and soft music. You got to take in the scenery while relaxing and sipping on wine.
3) everyone was so friendly and so helpful. Attentive. Knowledgeable. Personable. Funny. Such a welcoming environment.
4) all the wine were super delicious. Interesting mix of red wines. Highly recommend everyone to try the Seduction red!
5/5 stars, highly recommend to visit on your trip to Napa

Must visit Winery! Family owned! Amazing staff..the Winery made the visit so personable ...the small details presented to us (won't share the details - you will see for yourself) truly made us feel like a guest in there home... We had the pleasure of having James as our Wine Educator..his enthusiasm and love of the Winery and his HIGH REGARDS to the Owner Bart and Barb made it soo enjoyable to hear someone talk about a passion of theirs.
We literally decided NOT to go to any other Winery after this experience! Will definitely pass on this Gem!

I cannot say enough nice things about this winery. First of all, this was hands down the best and most personal tasting we did in all of Napa Valley. They try different wines with you one on one, but never in a pressuring way. It truly feels like you are family, and they have bent over backwards to accommodate us. We joined their wine club because it was the first place we saw where you got to customize your alllocation and choose what you want every quarter. They have been so friendly everytime we have needed something. One of our logo’d glasses broke in transit back from our honeymoon, and I inquired about purchasing a replacement, and they sent a whole new pair with our bottles. Their stewards are so knowledgeable and you receive a warm newsletter every quarter with details on the company, which again makes it feel like family. Their customer service is quick to respond and so helpful. I would honestly give this place 1,000 stars if I could. It’s rare these days to see a company value their customers and their employees and this brand truly does that. Many Napa experiences are crowded and basically factory tours. A visit to this estate will be truly unique - you cannot miss it!

I honestly can't say enough about how amazing this place is. Just 10 minutes from downtown napa. The 43 acre vineyard is charming inside and out from the moment you pull up. Jason our sommelier was wonderful by being knowledgeable funny and interesting while walking us through all the wines. Sitting outside in the comfy chairs sipping delicious wine looking out over the vines is the perfect way to spend the day. Book way in advance cause this place fills up fast.

Worst bottle of wine I ever (didn't) have. I have never seen a cork so dry and brittle - it crumbled into little pieces when I tried to open the bottle. I don't think it sealed properly either, because the inside of the bottle had some sort of dark crud residue. (I would upload pics if I could.)

Just amazing. James was so personable and made this experience 💯. If you want the true Napa experience, this is it. You’ll feel like you’re in the heart of Italy. The owners take a very boutique approach, and you feel like you’ve been personally invited to someone’s estate. The pairings were amazing and the seduction wine especially was delicious. Thank you for making our getaway that much better! Make your reservations ahead of time, the cost will be worth it!

If you are looking for a personal and inviting vineyard experience while in Napa, then you must book a tasting at O'Brien! My partner and I visited during a heat wave and they were very accommodating to make sure we were comfortable but still had an unforgettable experience by moving the tasting inside. Marilyn was truly better than we could have asked for. After a few tastings that weekend, she was the most delightful of the mix and gave us the best recommendations and stories. Make sure to check out all the lovely animals the O'Brien's have on site!
It's like being in retail heaven. There are so many options to choose from. Name brand stores of every kind from clothing to handbags to perfumes to shoes and home furnishings and so much more. There is literally something here for every member of your family from the tallest to the smallest. You get high quality items at a fraction of the normal cost. There are public restrooms and places to grab a refreshing beverage to quench your thirst or satisfy your sweet tooth. There is ample parking but be sure to wear comfortable shoes if you want to experience everything this outlet has to offer. To ensure a safe, healthy and enjoyable shopping experience face mask are required at every store for employees as well as customers so come prepared.

I enjoy shopping at a few of the stores here. They keep up the property pretty well with bathrooms available. I've to unfortunately give a lower rating due to removing the benches from the property. Not everyone can stand for long periods of time while the rest of the family continues shopping. Many of the patrons here are of senior age as well. Recently they also added a huge dumpster to the main parking area next to charging station that makes it difficult to park and navigate. With online shipping it's becoming harder to justify coming. Nice premium outlet! All kinds of brands. got huge parking lot not too crowded.... Lots of public restroom, vending machines, Unfortunately NO restaurant at all .. you will get to see only food truck! And some vendors..However must say had an great tacos truck there, must try from them.

Their sales are great there if you have time and want to shop this is the best place for deals this is the place to go man women and children baby clothing in all sizes the best thing is you are outside so you can get fresh air while shopping several bathrooms they are always kept clean and parking if you have a large vehicle you can always park in the back of the store area. The only Improvement that I can think of is if they had more benches for elderly to sit down and rest that can't walk long distance or stand very hard to sit on curb

I love this place as it has everything you want! I wish they did have more deals during holidays and closeouts. It's still a great place to pick up quality clothing at a fraction of what it would cost in a retail store! Park over at Sam's Club and walk over as there is more shade in the summertime, so your car won't be scorching hot when you return!

Last time I visited this outlet it was more than 10 years ago. Back then this outlet you can find quality products with discounted price!
It was quite a disappointment when we drove by and stopped to checkout again! Most of the name brand stores are still there but can’t find any decent stuff anymore, most products are low quality or not appealing, even with 15%, 30%, even 50% off are still not attractive at all!
It is very sad to see this mall become, the traffic reduced so much, even the Starbucks been shutting down!
Parking are very easy, vending machines also available in many corner near the restroom’. Not interested to stop by again when we drove by next time!

Under armor from vacaville premium outlet will make your day miserable. I grabbed a size 4 curry basketball shoe places under a $29 sign and checked out. They were charging me $75 instead. When I asked why, they said Under Armor made size 4 men shoe and it was misplaced on youth shoe shelf. It is a men shoe so it is more expensive despite it is literally look like a size 4 kid shoe. I said okay and asked if they have boy Curry basketball shoe, they pointed me the pink curry and told me it is unisex color. I said okay and grabbed a pair to check out, they charged me $49 again, when I asked why it is not $29 as their sign shows, they said sign is for other shoes, this pair does not have a sign and it is $49. I said ok and grabbed some youth sneakers from back wall where it says youth clearance at $19, they charges me $39 at check out and said those are men shoe which are misplaced by clients. I could not believe it and showed them there are three same shoes all put in the youth wall, how come all of them were misplaced by clients? they said no, we cannot price men’s shoes as youth prices.at the end, I asked if I can turned my gift card into cash and leave the store because I don’t want to anything from this store anymore, they said no.
Guys, It is a great way to waste time and energy shopping at under armor store in Vacaville premium outlet. The retail team was poorly trained and has million ways to try to charge you more at counter. I recommend their products but would not recommend their service.

First time here but just for a transit .. get down a car and get into another .. but in that wait of 30 mins with my family. I brought a coach and a Michael kors ... that’s the shortest time of 35 mins spent - 250$.. it’s a guarantee and I like it

Love this place !! Only issue I have is that the close at different times. Or when you lookup the store hours online and it will say a store is open til a certain time but when you arrive the stores are closed or closing. So basically several stores need to update their store hours online.
I was under the impression that all of the stores closed at the same time. But this is not the case.

Love this Home Goods. I meet my daughter here every couple of months for retail therapy.
Mall with retail, dining & amusement park featuring a carousel, a miniature train & a playground.
My grandson and I rode the train and carousel and loved them both! He had a lot of fun on the play structures too.

Nice place to break between the Bay and the Sierras. Let the dogs stretch and pee while we get coffee. Miss the old Nut Tree restaurant, though. I remember riding the train as a kid.

Wonderful shopping area. Walkable lay out and plenty of fun for kids including a slow moving train as well as a Carousel. You have to buy tickets for the train and carousel.

We went to Nut Tree Plaza to pick up a turkey cranberry havarti on sour dough sandwich and a free monthly sour dough bread. Join the club! We usually eat the sandwich there, but we didn't have the extra time. The center has Starbuck's and Verizon there too! Enjoy this strip center.

Lots of stores to shop in! I remember back when it was the original Nut Tree park! Same train but it had a different track route. It went through the park and around a toy store. There were rocking giraffes that you could sit on. There also was a restaurant and souvenir shop. It was a great place to visit! Today's Nut Tree Plaza has a little bit of atmosphere of yesteryear!

Always a great time at the Nut Tree. I brought my kids here to ride the train and the carousel. Sooo much fun! We decided to have a picnic!

Well! I remember the old " Nut Tree"...I used to take my children there quite a bit. And, while things have changed, I would totally recommend this for about 2 hours to keep the children happy. There is a Carousel, and the Nut Tree Train, there is a small park, they provide Chalk for the kids to be creative on the hardware. There are many places to eat, from Sushi, Italian, Hawaiian, Mexican and American. There are loads if little shops and boutiques. Fenton Creamery is there, if you want to have lu ch or just an ice cream. There is a Jelly Belly outlet, an Ulta, See' s Candy, T-Mobile store, Best Buy, Old Navy, Homegoods, BevMo...etc.
The tickets are $4 each fir the train, and $4 fir the child only on the Carousel ( the parent or guardian are welcome to accompany the child at no charge).
There is shade, and benches...you could easily take a picnic out there if you wanted to!
AND, as an added plus. ..their public restrooms are immaculate!
Check it out!

Lots of great food in the plaza here! You want sushi? They got Fuji! You want Thai? They got it. Feeling for some desert? The plaza got a place for that!
If you're in the mood for ramen because it's a cold day, they got Ramen 101 for you! This plaza have pretty much all of the great foods that you could want! They even got Hawaiian as well!
If you feel full after eating, there's store and shops you can walk around and once you are ready for more food, you can just grab yourself a nice donut!
There are so many stores and restaurants here and it's a great spot to hang out and relax, highly recommend for anyone in the area to visit!

Railroad was closed for maintenance. First time merry-go-round ride for the kids, they loved it! They liked the rocking horses too.
Not nearly the same place as when I was a kid but still fun. Had ice cream at Fentons right next door, delicious. Make sure you check operating hours before you go.

This is a super nice play area. Every time we’re here in the area we always stop. My daughter just loves it.
Chandon winery, located in Yountville, California, is a popular destination for wine enthusiasts. The winery offers fantastic wines and friendly service with beautiful scenery that can be enjoyed all day long. Visitors can also explore the nearby vineyards and quaint town of Yountville. While some websites claim to offer free tastings at Chandon and other popular wineries, these claims are often false clickbait tactics aimed at increasing website traffic.
Well…that was fun. We arrived without reservations and they kindly accommodated. They were very busy, so it started a little slowly but we were lucky to have Kenny G. as our wine guide. He was awesome. He was funny, generous, gregarious, he was perfect. I would say that he made the experience except the wines themselves held up their end of the bargain. I’m not a huge bubbles guy but these wines are exquisite. They span the full spectrum of the sparkling wine experience and were dialed in and elegant. And the view on the patio was the ideal setting to enjoy these wines. If you’re into bubbles, this feels mandatory. If you’re not, be a good husband and let your wife have the time of her life. If you get Kenny G, you’ll both be rewarded.

This experience was first class. It is a bigger winery than many in Napa. However we were treated very personally and while we planned to just stay for an hour it ended up being two hours because we enjoyed our time, the service and the sparkling wine so much.
We did the Terroir tasting and that was perfect. The property is newly renovated and stunning.
Tyler McClung — Google review
This is the influencer winery due to their scenic property and contemporary tasting room. Was able to come here on a Monday during their Bubble Bar event, where their wines were served a la carte instead of a tasting. Reservations are required, as they did turn away plenty of people who were trying to walk in. Since the winery is owned by Moet & Chandon, the winery is known for their sparkling wine and I was not surprised that most of their product did taste like Dom Perignon. Everything was decent, but I would say the Mt Veeder sparking wines were better than the others.

Most of the grounds were under construction while we visited, unfortunately. For a big house, I think this is what you would expect. Our wine guide was very nice, though. They had a vegan cashew cheese mushroom pizza that was so good! Though, they were out of the oysters for my partner, which was a bummer. Vibes were okay, sparkling wine was okay.

Absolutely racist and nasty staff.
Right before my turn, he was serving some folks and we saw him chatting happily. Attitude changed 180 degrees when he had to serve us two asians. I asked if he could explain the drinks and what he recommends, he gives a one liner and says “it’s up to you.”
Probed again to ask to provide more details of the drinks, he gave a frustrated look and give a one liner. I wonder why is there such a difference in attitude?
Granted, scenery is beautiful but the staff whose name is Jesus, is just plain rude and takes away the joy of a supposedly beautiful experience.

Since I love champagne, I really wish I could have given this place 5 stars.
My bestie & I visited here in Sept and the weather was perfect for sitting outdoors, which was where the tasting was - and you don't have a choice. A little odd I would think, since you're paying for it.
We were treated to some small bites along with each tasting. The staff wasn't very friendly or personable. Lovely grounds but they didn't seem to flow smoothly, they were detached.
I did enjoy the time and the champagne. Of course the only restroom is in the retail store, lol. I bought a few bottles and found later I was charged twice, not too nice.
Add a little more charm and this place would be worth another visit, construction or not

Fantastic wines and very friendly service! You can’t beat the scenery. It is absolutely beautiful and I feel like I can spend all day here. I appreciated that the staff allowed us to relax and enjoy our wines and we didn’t feel rushed at all. It’s also near my favorite bakery (Bouchon). I can’t wait to go back again!

Chandon was an amazing experience!! Such a beautiful courtyard and facility. Part of it was closed to renovation and one of the pinnacle flight champagnes was out. Without asking they refunded half of our tasting fee. A great place to start or end your day in Napa. Thank you so much, Chandon!!

Our group wanted champagne so we included Chandon in our itinerary. For our visit, much of the building is under construction so we were outside. The grounds are nicely laid out and the bubbles are great! We are looking forward to when the work is complete so that we could have a more complete experience.

One of the best tastings I’ve had in wine country. I highly recommend the adventure tasting as it’s a “choose your own” option.
Service what phenomenal even for the last tasting of the day. No rush to leave and left with a great bottle purchase (packages beautifully).
Loved the light bite menu, especially the macarons.

We got here later in the day. It's a good size beautiful winery. The service is very good and professional. The raw oysters were delicious! There was a open bar as well as the wine tasting bar. Mumm Winery is Napa Valley's most well-known and respected sparkling wine producer. They have both indoor and outdoor tasting rooms with stunning views of the valley. If you enjoy your bubbly, this is a must-see winery!
One of our best tasting experiences in Napa! A sparkling wine selection that can't be beat. The Oak terrace is beautiful and peaceful and just the perfect atmosphere! The wine is great of course but I was very disappointed by how unaccommodating they are. We had a group slightly larger than their 8 person maximum (we were 10) and they made us sit at separate tables despite being easily able to join tables together.. because of ‘policy’ (a policy which they weren’t able to explain). AND they denied entry to our friend because she had her 6 month old baby with her. They suggested maybe leaving the baby in the car if the parents wanted to join. She opted to drive all the way back to SF rather than risking her baby’s life for her friend’s birthday celebration and a glass of sparkling wine 🤷🏼♀️

Friendly staff, incredible wine, and the outdoor tasting patio with magnificent views make this a top winery to visit in Napa. Our hostess, JoJo, was great! She was friendly, knowledgeable and created an amazing tasting experience for my wife and I. As others have noted, the wine is exceptional and the prices reasonable. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful winery!

First time I was here was in 98/99 while in college. Great memory then. Not a mature palate. Fast forward to now. Times have definitely changed but Mumm was still able to make life better with bubbles. Have a couple or 5 tastings of delicious samplings. Take a a bottle or some for the memories. Knowledgeable staff, clean and cool tastings. They even have a photo gallery to walk through before your reservation. Come try it out!

We came here for my birthday with a reservation.
It was raining really hard that day but even the outdoor space was covered with heaters. Luckily they were able to move us to an inside table.
There was a bit of a wait to get seated but we came with a small group of friends so we didn't mind just hanging out and chatting.
Kat(Kathleen?) was our server and she was great. She was friendly and knowledgeable.
We all tried different wines (some of us got the sets).
And we picked a bottle to take home.
Excellent service and beautiful location.
They gave us all chocolates and (another) complementary drink at the end for my birthday.

Andy was such a delight, despite being very busy, we were treated with bubbles, chocolate, knowledge, and bottles to take home. The reservation process was simple, the grounds are gorgeous, and as expected, the bubbles were delish. Highly recommend visiting, but keep an eye on your debit card, I had such a great time, I lost mine 😂😂😂 Now that, is a good sign 💜

We recently went to Napa to visit different wineries. We made reservations for the ones we thought we would like the most, at the end of the day we had some extra time so, we made reservations for Mumm. As opposed to the excellent time , attention and experience we had through the day this experience was horrible: they didn’t communicate properly, and kicked us out of winery rudely and without warning.
If we consider our next vacation based on this last experience we never get back to Napa.

Great experience. Me and the fiance enjoyed a wide variety of sparklings. The temperature outside was 100 and we sat indoors in the tasting room. The tasting room is full on window view with a good look into the vinyards. On the trees you can see humming birds. Mia was our server and took great care of us! We strongly recommend visiting any time of the year 😀

Mumm Winery, who doesn't love delicious sweet bubbles (or dry if you prefer that) Service is always professional and friendly. The gift store could use more help, though. The restroom is clean. Plenty of parking.
The patio has a fun atmosphere, with enough seating with beautiful views of the vineyards and mountains. Make sure to visit Mumm whenever you're in Yountville. However, reservations are highly recommended for members and definitely for non-members!

If you only have time for one or two tastings + love sparkling wine, Mumm Napa is a MUST!
We had to book super short notice + snagged a 10am slot on the Oak Terrace. Drinking before noon is 💯% underrated. 😆 The bits and baubles from local cheeseries were such a pleasant accompaniment to the wines. Def didn't regret paying extra for the Terrace.
You will definitely enjoy your tasting at Mumm Napa. 👍

Wonderful champagne, but would have been nice to have a formal tasting. We would have made an appointment if the website had indicated it was necessary. Making the best of the situation we all got different champagnes and shared...it worked for us!

Great wines, tepid welcome, bad service. We stopped by for a tasting and they told us they couldn’t give us one because a sommelier was on lunch. Granted there are two other tables with people in the entire winery. We were given the option to by a glass, and we paid it up front like we were at a cafeteria. Then entire time we drank our wines, nobody came to check in on us, and no one gave us a menu of wines we could purchase. We left when we were done, and uninterested to purchase bottles. We’ll never go back but their wines are exceptional.

Came to grab a quick glass to toast our engagement. Called ahead to let them know our Uber was running late. They said they could stretch the tasting reservation 20 min but could maybe grab a glass beyond that. Arrived 5:29 (9 min past) and was greeted at the host stand by the manager that they’re closed (open until 6:00 pm). Apparently, they “sent their bartenders home” (before they were closed and with patrons still dining).
I explained that we called ahead and our Uber was a 25 min drive ($35). I assured her we would only stay for 15 min and would be happy to just buy a bottle and close out the bill and be gone before 6:00. The manager still refused and said they sent an email to let me know not to come. After confirming there was no email, her response was “well we were going to”. Which would’ve been fine if it did come through, but instead we wasted 45 min at $60 for the drive, which was treated as ‘well that sucks’
No communication, no flexibility and zero accountability. I’ve worked in food/bev for a very long time. This was quite possibly the worst experience I’ve had. There was no effort to acknowledge their bad communication/organization and no attempt to provide a voucher for the mistake and/or reschedule our reservation for the next available time and day. The attitude of the manager was dismissive and just overall disinterested.
Looking at the other comments here, seems I’m not the only one to have this issue….
Tl,dr… Just buy a bottle.

Clearly trading off the Mumm brand only. Tasting was awful. We were left 15 minutes before anyone even came and welcomed us, another 20 minutes until the first tasting was served. Then our waitress served us flat (warm) sparkling, claiming that is how it came, and only after I insisted she fetched another bottle then she admitted the last serving was in fact flat.
Then there was a calamity around her dropping a cork somewhere which seemed to be more important to discuss then actually anything about the wine or vineyard. The only fact we got was that they sometimes seat upwards of 500 people a day. I agree - The experience was like being on a factory conveyor-belt line, and not a very organised one at that.
We left there agreeing that this was the worst tasting experience we had tried, by far.
Rico e liso — Google review
We arrived at Mumm just shy of 1 hour early for our tasting. After check in, the staff informed us that they would not be able to seat us early and we could see that They were busy. Since most vineyards are by appointment only, we didn’t really have a choice but to wait around. Not too terrible since it was a beautiful day. We explored the shop and made our purchases, walked to the vines for photo ops, and even visited the “art gallery” which is more a collection of digitized photos. As our appointment time approached, a random down pour of rain began. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy the terrace for the Oak Terrace tasting, but we were sat inside due to the rain and about 15 minutes after our time. The wines were nice and the pairings of cheese etc. were ok, but overall we felt the cost of the experience did not justify the quality we received. The one positive part of the experience was our server’s, Eric, knowledge and recommendations. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend Mumm based on our experience, but would recommend the sparkling wines to those new to drinking wines.

Man the sparkling bubbly is very tasty. Man very flavorful and unlike many of the dry and vinegary wine I have had in the past. It was simple to go in and picked up a few bottles. The base wines they sell are just as tasty as the high end bottle so mixed it up. Customer service people were kind and attentive. This wine is a little sweeter than most brand according to colleagues who live in the area. The sweetness totally work for me enjoy!!

We went here as part of our honeymoon back in September 2023 and had the worst service ever. It was hard to flag down the wine server for the next tasting in our flight every time and he seemingly profiled us as he was keen to cater and service a different table but ignored us every time he passed our table (which was right by the door to go inside). He seemed rushed and short worded with the tastings. This was by far our least favorite tasting experience on our honeymoon and first time in Napa.

We had reservations here and they canceled in us due to weather. However, the weather turned out fine and there was no need to cancel. In addition, I called to try and fit us back in here and they turned us down flat. No ability to accommodate after they canceled on us. Truly poor customer service.

Mumm sparkling wine was wonderful. Our charcuterie plate was wonderful too. However, the gentleman that was our tasting host seemed bored with his job. He was very robotic about his presentation and totally aloof. He poured the sparkling wine and said “let me know how you like it,” and rushed off. We felt like we were a burden to him even though we were the first and only people there. We will continue to buy your wine because we like it. As a representative of your beautiful winery he needs to be more engaging with your customers especially being a manager. The one star is because of him.

Service orientation amongst staff is poor, almost as if they are doing a favour coming to work. The staff show little flexibility to meet customer requirements - we wanted a table in the sun but they wanted to keep it free in order to help in serving the next table! When we took the table in the shade both the gas heaters did not work. The staff fiddled around a bit but left without fixing, without even a word of apology. The server opened a couple of bottles almost in the face of one of our group, showing little regard for personal space.

Honestly feels like most of the things related to school are a money grab. The teachers are just as good as anywhere else. I wish i had looked at other student's thoughts before choosing here compared to somewhere else... i just saw "number 1" and was like hey lets go there. They seem good if they have such a high rating.
Pros: has nature, a lot of clubs, possibility of joining a teachers research group as an intern
Cons: semester work load in 10 weeks, exams almost every week, way too expensive, campus food costs more than it tastes like it should, weird dining hours, very hard to navigate by car as bikes and pedestrians don't stop, most clubs you have to pay for if you even have time for them

Did you know at UC Davis they do animal studies where they shoot ketamine into them and give them vodka and then when they’re good and messed up they burn them so according to animal medical science, this doesn’t fall underneath animal cruelty.

Stunning campus. The staff is very friendly. The weekend is a lot quieter but still plenty to do. A walk along the arboretum is a must.

Returning for a bike ride around campus after a 40+ year absence since graduation here. Glad to see many of the old original buildings have been preserved, while upgrading around them.
Winning rate is very high if you choose the right machine. Always follow at where many people are sitting & playing because people know which machine is the best currently using their instinct of judgement.

The people working here are Awsome! No problem taking care of transactions with a smile, even with the craziest of people! On the other hand, there was an employee of the casino who was behind me in line for fuel. She passed me and took the pump I was waiting for. I told her I was in line before her. She said “Ok I’ll move” then under her breath she said “after I pump my gas”. This is very non respectful of your patrons. Our farm buys A lot of diesel from you. Red or maroon Dodge Ram maybe 02-04..

I was taking my friends home from Sacramento and decided to pop in for a little while and had a good time while I was there. I ended staying about 3 or 4 hours. A bit more than popping in for a little while. But I'm not complaining in the least. I'm sure that I'll be back when I'm in the area again. Hopefully it won't be too long from now.

Wish it was located closer to me, but the travel is worth it at times. People greet/open door for you are always kind and welcoming. It's always clean..especially the bathrooms which is a relief compared to the other casinos. The employees at the cage are always kind And helpful. Great place to be.

Beautiful place. Are at Jack's Place. Very good food. Prices were reasonable. Plenty of slots. They even have actual penny slots that the minimum is a penny. I love that. If the security wasn't so rude to my husband out in the parking lot where he was sitting in our car getting some fresh air an on his phone waiting for me I would of given 5 stars.

The customer service has really gone down since the start of covid, on the casino floor and the restaurant lots of employees in the restaurant and floor but not service foo customer. In the restaurant they don't take pride in quest service. Literally there will by 5 people that will all look at you and not even Greet you and keep going about the their business. As a former CS Manager, someone should always say hello and that someone will be right with you. I just went to Jacks for a date night last week and ordered the Ramon noodle bowl, The prices had really gone up plus they charged a $9 upcharge for chicken. When my meal arrived it literally had 2 bites of chicken so at almost $25 buck combined I sent it back. The manager came to do PR work and basically held his ground on everything being weighed. No attempt to listen just to bark back. He did ask if I wanted to order anything else. After waiting so long I kindly said no thanks so needless to say no dinner on date night. We really miss the old environment with the hospitality and the buffet

We stopped by to see if they still had a poker room since we'd driven to Baxter for a gig. No poker room :( Last time I'd been there was on the way back from Fort Bragg, moons ago. My friend, it was his 1st time. I was impressed how well kept up its been, clean, nice! Better than all of Reno and a lot of Vegas. I only interacted with staff at the Starbucks and she earned a tip, well done! I used the kiosk and easily obtained a replacement players card from literally 4 or 5 years ago! Maybe more. My friend, his 1st card and he sported $20 in free play to begin. He thanked me for the suggestion as he turned that into a tidy little profit for the night. They even had a few, very few older low volitity machines. Hard Rock has NONE. I gave back as much as he won, so a wash for the casino. I can't talk about the food but I plan to return and be able to give you an idea of how good or bad it is at that time. I would definitely recommend going and trying them out!

Great staff. Clean cozy rooms. Fun casino floor. Love the casino club rewards. Definitely recommend if looking for a short getaway. Although a microwave would be nice in the rooms. I have no other complaints.

The room was so bad I requested a new room.
There was hair in the bathtub, and on toilet, sticky tables, the bathroom floor was sticky on my shoes.
Very unhappy with the cleaning.
The new room I was put in was slightly better.

This was a lovely room at the Casino. I’m a bit confused about the “Resort” name. There was no pool, gym, spa services etc. Maybe it’s in the future plans?? We had a players card so our room was only $39. Nice.

OK. Let me tell you that I was so disappointed that the girl at the front desk does not have good customer service skills. Please let her know that she is the 1st person of contact and represents the restaurant. We are indigenous people. We want to have eating lunch a nice pleasant experience for something so sacred. Please guide this young lady in her 49er jersey so she does not continue to fail in life.

The grounds are clean... The place just smells clean. It's the epitome of what a casino should look like. I do feel like that beauty comes with a cost. It's a very beautiful casino, and it seems busy enough so they could change the winning ratio higher. I was here for 8 hours and I never heard one person to get a hand pay or jackpot bell ringer. That's a long time on Friday night with just giving.
The people that work here are so friendly. It makes me not want to complain about the fact that no one was winning. The people is what makes this place a four star. I would come here and just stay in the resort... And not gamble at all. It's really nice.

Stayed over night in our 40ft Motorhome in the back lot where they allow campers overnight. Very nice, clean, convenient store is right next door, they have a very nice dog park with a water fountain for dogs. Plus they have a free dump station and free water fill station. We played a little and ate at the Branded Butcher which was nice. I highly recommend staying here if you a place to stay over night or just passing through. Oh and they have a free shuttle from the back lot to take you to the casino!

Smaller casino with a well-done country rustic theme. Lots of different game types to gamble on. However I've never seen anyone really win a decent amount unless playing with very large bets. If you're willing to spend that kind of money, your chances are pretty good but I wouldn't recommend stopping through for a quick visit with little money.

I love this casino! It's kind of tucked away, but not difficult to get to. At this time they allow RVs and travel trailers to stay for free. The gas station next door has a free dump station and potable water. It also has a small dog park (not fenced).
They offer great incentive to new members. Their milkshakes are awesome! The staff is super-friendly and helpful. The facility is clean. They have a decent app. This has been one of my favorite casinos to visit. I grew up in Reno, NV and travel full time. I dig the vibes here.

A group of us reserved rooms, guaranteed with credit card, through their website for April. This past week the hotel called us and said that our rooms were cancelled due to they needed the rooms for another event. Been traveling for decades and this is a first. She apologized and said there was nothing more she could do. I asked to talk to her manager. I was forwarded to the manager's voice mail. Today, three days later, someone calls (not the manager) and apologizes saying there is nothing she can do and that was the casino decision. Unbelievable...

Feather Falls Casino & Lodge is a comprehensive entertainment destination that offers a wide range of gaming options, dining choices including a buffet and brewpub, live performances, and comfortable accommodations. It stands out as a unique bar where one can enjoy without encountering the numerous acquaintances of someone's mother or individuals associated with certain social groups. Although there may be occasional encounters, it appears to be less frequent than elsewhere. The bartenders are friendly, serving reasonably priced drinks.
I was there for a last minute concert. I had a great time, every employee I saw looked friendly and approachable if help was needed. The show was fun and I hope to return real soon.

I went for New Years Eve and had a great time. We ate at the Brewery and was disappointed with the Surf and Turf was less then desirable. The new york strip stake was cooked like a prime rib and not an individually grilled steak. The Lobster tail was not cooked all the way through. It was raw in the middle. It looked beautiful on my plate but not what I expected.

We really enjoy going to Feather Falls Casino to dine at the Brewery Restaurant. The food is always great! The portion size is very impressive and when asked to cook my sweet potato fries extra crispy they get that right too!! So far every meal has been terrific and service was also good. In addition getting to watch all the other plates of food come out of the kitchen as it’s being delivered to each table is super impressive because I haven’t seen a dish yet that didn’t look delicious! I highly recommend the dining experience at the Brewery!

They give away a lot of free play money there that gets you in the door so you can lose your pay check! Make sure you get something from the snack bar before you lose your money that's the best thing at this casino snack bar. If yours person of color HIGHLY recommend you gamble you will win! I see it all the time! But if your using your players club card and you have a "Caucasian" Name good luck! Don't use your card it's racist! You won't win! If I ever win its because I wasn't using my card. Or the machine had a card already in it that belonged to Jose or Vang.

My first visit to this place was excellent! The room was very nice and clean, the woman who took my reservation, the former 911 dispatcher, was so patient with me and helpful as I was dealing with the sheriff as I'm on the phone with her!! Exceptional customer service, thank you so much to her for all her help!! My boyfriend and I ate at the Feather Falls Brewery, I had the veggie pizza and the artichoke dip, which were very good! The California haze ipa was my favorite beer!! Highly recommend this place to stay at, to eat at and to gamble at, thank you!!!

Did great for most of the night then lost the profit. The other party accompanying came out quite on top though so I can't think of a complaint. This is prob my favorite casino of them all, it's always such a fun time not sure exactly why it just is. Worth it even if you lose it all 😉!

It's the only bar I can go to without running into the many many men my son's mom has slept with. Although I still ran into one. That time he wasn't visibly high in yayo though. The place seems to also be free if the many women who my son's mom is associated with that use crank and are members of FB 3some groups. All in all I like feather falls bars. The bartenders are nice. The drinks aren't overpriced. I don't gamble, but the times I have watched other people gamble, it's hard to get some soda. Kinda lame. The food is good. Although it could easily be better, but I used to be a Chef, so I say that no matter where I go.

This review is more about the lodge than the casino. Very nice rooms, pleasant staff, decent pricing. Casino is ok, lots of newer machines or should I say vacuums. Buffet was blah.
JimmyTheCricket 25 — Google review
We stayed overnight, it was one time of many stays by me personally.
I'm divorced now, but me and my husband had stayed in the lodge several times, enjoying the less smoke smelling rooms compared to the gold counter rooms. The fireplace in the lobby and the aesthetic of this lodge is more classy and impressive than gold country, it's local competitor.
The food at the restaurant downstairs in the casino was delicious, although the tables and dining room felt more buffer type decor, and I prefer a more aestheticly appealing look!
But the food and service was great!

I didn't rent a room. The waitress wasn't friendly. She rolled her eyes and seemed offended when informed the Shirley temple didn't taste quite right. The bar tender was very nice and quickly remade the drink. It was good afterward. Later the man passing out drinks was super nice and asked many people if they wanted a drink. I was impressed by his choice to go out of his way to do his hob.

We came for a night off from the kiddos and to celebrate my wife’s birthday. They had a tasty adult beverage (champagne) waiting for my wife in our room with a birthday card. It was a super nice touch and thoughtful! The room was clean and smoke free (yay)! We, by chance, got upgraded to a king suite. It was pretty nice. The hotel staff were all nice. I like that they have semi protected parking.
We would totally go back for a night!
Also like that you can access the casino from the Lodge. Easy peasy walk and you don’t get wet when it’s raining.
The casino has a fairly large smoke free section, which I appreciate. It’s great. It’s mainly slots, with some black Jack tables. The slots are fun, a tad loud on some, but still fun. I like they have a snack bar that serves hot dogs, sandwiches, and coffee, etc.

It's a decent casino, pretty typical for NorCal. They have a good amount of slot machines and a large non-smoking section. They also have a decent number of tables that appear to stay open all night as long as someone wants to play.

This by far is the worst casino I have ever been to in my entire life. And I'm not just another bitter guy who lost all his money gambling and can't take responsibility for my actions. I don't gamble that often and I didn't lose all my money simply because a Feather Falls you don't win anything I've never won one thing and when I say when I mean like 20 cents I mean I have never won one penny from this horrible casino. It would be understandable if this was my first time and I just wasn't lucky because that's understandable. But I have gone to this place at least 10 times and I've still have never earned $0.01 or more. And to top it all off the staff have terrible customer service. I know I look young but I swear to God I am id'd every 2 minutes at this place. I mean that's just excessive and a lot of the times they're still skeptical even though my ideas in perfect condition. All in all every time I've gone to Feather Falls I've regretted it and you will too. I suggest you go to Gold Country there are a million times better!
Modern rooms & suites in a casino hotel with restaurants & bars, plus bowling & live entertainment.
They have upgraded the casino and are keeping it very sanitized. The two restaurants I used the food was good, a bit on the expensive side though. The staff throughout the casino were attentive and friendly. The hotel is extremely clean and the rooms have been upgraded. They seem to have a nice 2 night monthly special with extra goodies, which helps to bring the cost of the room to a more reasonable rate. Very nice gift shop. Overall, a good 2 night's stay and don't forget to ask for your little, yellow rubber ducky!! :-)

Fun place to visit. The casino features lots of games and good promotions. Gold Country has arguably the nicest hotel rooms in Butte County, comfortable, clean and well appointed rooms with huge bathrooms and fabulous jetted tubs. Guest laundry is a huge plus. Beautiful pool area with hot tub. RV Park is great for a more laid back experience, with top notch amenities, like gorgeous bathroom and shower facilities, clean and reasonably priced guest laundry, and well kept grounds with pull through sites and full hookups.

I went to a concert with my friend the staff was A1!!! We had to go to WILL Call … and then the staff member went to the back got the manager and came back … obviously some company was selling scam tickets online … no worries they saw what he had paid and row they WALKED us to our seats and told us to enjoy the show and really apologized for what happened. They could of said your out of luck as it was pretty full concert. I will never forget the kindness you shown since my friend is elderly and not savvy about where to purchase tickets … thanks you for all WILL CALL and security staff working Saturday night. Please anyone use reputable company (I use evenbrite for my events) for obtaining tickets for any event… thanks again I enjoy your casino❤️

The Hotel is amazing extremely clean rooms very large with jetted tubs in walk-in showers. And a separate toilet room. There aren't a lot of dining choices but the choices they do have serve amazing food with amazing staff. The Acorn cafe is our favorite to do even with kids. Our waiter Jamal was absolutely amazing and attentive to my children their food arrived quickly and exactly how they asked for it. Couldn't have had better service.

Avoid this place of you want to have good time with a big group of friends or maybe is just being Asian. Two beer and you are cut off. Asked to speak to supervisor and he said because he can(Gene). I have been mistreated from this establishment before but I thought we would give them another shot but nothing change. I actually feel bad for the people who owns the casino because of the people they have running the place. The waitress are worst than ever no customer skill whatsoever. whoever is running that department needed to be fire and replaced Immediately. We were at the bar and they have 5 employees three standing and only two serving drinks. They were pretty busy with many customers waiting for their drink. Whoever is running that place is not a good leader. Definitely not a good place to have a good time….that’s place is filled with bunch of tweeters.

Just came back from the short trip. Traveled with husband and child. I've read a lot of reviews about strong smoke smell on the casino floor. But it wasn't bad at all, compare to other casinos. Room was amazing, clean and spacious. Bathroom is gorgeous with large bathtub. Everything is well maintained and clean. We liked the pool too. It is located behind the gas station so there is a little bit of walking from the hotel. Pool is large and clean. I've also read that slots are not loose. But we managed to win some money and overall enjoyed the play time. They have free fountain drinks with a self service on the casino floor. Food at Acorn was really good. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast the next morning there.

We stayed at the RV Campground nearby (excellent place to stay) so I couldn't speak about the rooms. The casino seemed nice and clean. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. The gambling really sucked. I play multi keno, and the minimum bet is $1 as opposed to the max bet in Nevada is 80 cents. I won a little and then donated. Everyone else with me had the same experience.

It's clean, the staff is friendly, and although I've only played here a few times, I've never done well at the slots here. From the cleanliness and decor in the casino, I'd bet the rooms are also pretty nice.

You can spend thousands here but never win. They take your money so fast you can't even enjoy playing on the slots. The rooms are great but if you get mascara on a towel they will try to charge you $75.00. This is hands down one of the worst casinos ever.

This casino must have read my old review and fixed their issue with not having any roulette, now there is a game table with a dealer..... And there are approximately four game Kings that have roulette as one of the game options :-) they got their five-star rating back at this casino, although I do wish they had some straws for their soda machine or at least the coffee.. it's very good coffee and tastes great, but it's exactly how I want it.. just a bit too hot to enjoy without a straw..
The hotel rooms are very clean and well maintained. The hotel staff is superb - they hired the right people at this one.. it has a good single floor layout for being a smaller casino (hotel rooms are on the second floor and up)
, and their restaurant is awesome.. they have a cigarette store within walking distance with a gas station also on premises.. and their security everywhere - I feel very safe at this casino (considering the town it is in)

We had a blast doing the Still the One tour. The group was relatively smaller and led by a knowledgeable tour guide. We received a few beers on the tour, got an inside look at the rest of the brewery, and learned a lot! Our favorite part was drinking straight out of the tap with fresh beer only brewed about 3 days ago. We’ve done the local tour here but this is definitely worth the $25 walking away with a crowler, goodie bag, and a ride on the Time Machine!

I had a delicious lunch at their restaurant then took the brewery tour. We had Emily guide us through the brewery which started with a beer sample and she was very knowledgeable. The 45 min tour ends with beer also. I highly recommend this tour and lunch.

Great tour! Fun to learn their history and rub and smell some actual hops!
Beautiful, older, kettles from Germany there too. Great surprise tasting at the end! Restaurant on the grounds too.

Amazing free tour and great samples. Their Beer Geek tour is even better. On that tour, they take you into the real depths of the brewery and let you sample small batch beer right from the fermenter. They even give you a special Beer Geek growler and tshirt at the end. It takes around 3 hours and costs $50.

My favorite place to go in Chico but menu changes are not great. Sierra salad was my go-to and now they have a $14 balsamic salad with whole cherry tomatoes covered in dressing that you couldn't eat because they were slippery. At least cut the tomatoes in half so they can be stabbed with a fork. Candied almonds not as good as candied pecans and a TON of bleu cheese. For $14 you get spring mix, grated carrots, slippery tomatoes, and a glob of bleu cheese. No bread and balsamic anymore which would have saved the day. Please I implore you to reconsider your menu!! This is my third time back and maybe last (for food) since reopening and I’ve been so disappointed. The service and wonderful people that they hire are the godsend.

I was my 41st birthday and we were the only 2 on the tour and were able to see different hops and the start to finish brewing process I would recommend to everyone to take the tour well worth it
Serene park with lots of tree-shaded paths for walking & biking, plus picnic sites & a playground.
It made me want to move there! And we were just at one spot of the 11 mile journey!! Loved it.people were way nicer than in my hometown.much love and respect for the area!!

Such a beautiful park with tons of shaded areas and space for the family. During the summer they have lifeguards. There is a snack bar, restrooms for you to rinse off, a nice creek next to the pool and a toddler area (water is very low for kiddos to enjoy 🥰). Plenty of picnic tables and you have a park next to it plus plenty of hiking and paved trails

It's a beautiful day today and as the sun is beginning it's slow descent the bright and warm colors of summer, the sound of the creek rushing by me...it just feels like home. I would not want to live anywhere else on Earth but Chico, right her and right now...

This is a review for the amphitheater only:
Extremely impressed! I go to around 25-30 shows a year and have been to literally 100s of venues. I know this is the first year of operation for this amphitheater and I know there is some kinks they'll work out. However overall it was VERY well done.
The sound system here is obviously brand new, and is very high end. It sounds incredible for the size of this venue, and the owners did not skimp on building it.
The security staff was impeccable! They did a amazing job of keeping people out of the isle and from standing at the gates in front of crowd blocking paying front row ticket holders views( this is a major issue at many places) they staff was friendly and did a good job of discerning between people blatantly breaking rules and people respectfully have a good time.
The only issue here is parking and traffic control.
The parking could potentially be fine with some or ANY parking control people on staff. There was literally not a single person directing traffic in or out. The did not close lanes or make one way traffic to flow the crowd out or in. People were moving and breaking barricades and blocking others. The walk from the rear parking lot is over 1/4 mile from the entrance and dirt.

Needed a pet-friendly room on short notice. Reservations were made quickly and easily with Bonnie by phone, who was friendly and knowledgeable about the property.
Arriving very road weary, Jerry was patient and understanding, made check-in easy, plus he offered a special treat for our small canine traveling companion.
Our room was clean, modern, and honestly nicer than I expected.
Brewery had a nice on-site brewed cold beer ready for me, and the kitchen made a surprisingly decent Cobb salad.
We are very pleased overall and will definitely stay here again.

It's my favorite casino on the western half of the US. Plenty of restaurant options, all of which are great. Customer service is always great. Drinks aren't horribly expensive. The win / loss ratio is very good. Rooms are great ( north tower ). Overall, must stop if traveling I5.

A nice spot to rest when you travel north, a lot of slot machines, RV parking and you can bring your horses here, friendly and the food is very good, they also have concerts and comedy shows, if you are lucky you can see the wild turkeys dance 🦃 around the area.

It's a big casino with a large variety of games. It's very popular with the locals as the place is always busy. Lots of parking and several restaurants. It's worth checking out. I only gave it four stars because I'm down tonight!

Attended a private party at Rock n brew in the back room. Great space. The wait staff was wonderful. The bartender was great when we asked for big beers with olives. I highly recommend the restaurant.
We were here on a Saturday night, and they had a great DJ at the main bar on the casino floor. I danced and had a wonderful time.
Later in the night, however, my husband did not have a good experience. Someone bumped him at the bar and spilled a bit of his drink on the floor. After setting the drinks down, he saw a staff member with a rag wiping the bar. He touched his elbow so as not to startle him by coming up behind him. He told the guy about the spill to be helpful so no one would slip and get hurt. The staff member instead yells at my husband not to touch him and walks away. The bartender who witnessed this apologized and asked if he wanted to speak to the supervisor. He did, and after waiting a long time for him to show up, he explained the situation and showed him the spill. The supervisors response was to tell my husband not to touch his employees. My husband was dumbstruck. The supervisor walked away. Patrons sitting nearby asked if my husband was okay because he was just standing there wondering what the heck he did wrong. They stated that they watched the whole thing and he didn't do anything to deserve to be treated like that. And guess what? No one ever cleaned up the spill.

So. This review is most for the Amphitheater and their security for the great white/ slaughter concert.. security was a joke!! Wouldn't let the paying customers sit under the cool down misters to actually cool down. But instead kept kicking them away from them, and just walked under them as their own way of power or some sh×t!! My family and i have had many great concerts there, but after this horrible experience, and especially in an extreme heat wave that we had. Unfortunately, we will not be going back! Ever!

Talk about a 5star experience. This place actually FEELS like a Vegas casino now since the remodel and update. Every employee I have come into contact with seems to have costumer satisfaction as their #1top priority. .... And the concert venue?!!??!!! Absolutely LOVE it. Their selection of machines to play and food to eat is an experience in itself that I highly recommend, and if u can stay in one of the hotels, I recommend that also. If your a golfer, U will NOT be disappointed in this challenging yet user friendly course just Make sure u bring LOTS of sunscreen as there isn't much shade!!! Their EQUESTRIAN CENTER hosts all kinds of horse events/classes And last but not least be sure u fill up on gas before u leave the casino as their gas is the CHEAPEST around for hundreds.... Yes, HUNDREDS of miles!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our check-in, with Gerry, was a positive experience. He recommended some great menu choices at the restaurant in the casino, and he had a great demeanour!!
The rooms are clean. The beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet and have a fridge and microwave.
We played some slots in the casino and had a wonderful dinner at the rock and brew restaurant.
The only negative was the lack of parking around the south tower, and the grouchy front desk girl, at the travel center in the morning.
We would definitely be back and highly recommend this Resort.

Main entertainment attraction in the area I visited. Newer slot machines, video craps and roulette, 5 active card tables (last time visiting at around 11pm), multiple eateries inside and live entertainment (as scheduled). Can't be mad at the location, turned out positive on my visit. For a not so frequent gambler definitely makes me want to come back for another opportunity!

Rolling Hills would be the best casino in California's northstate IF they had a poker room.. I understand Poker doesn't bring in a large sum of money but it would bring in many people who would hit the main floor before or after playing a tournament. Overall great atmosphere (they aggressively clean the air so it's not too smoky) lots of slots, I think 3 bars in total so drinks are never far away. Fast dining options plus a sit down steakhouse that is sound proofed from the noises of the floor. I greatly enjoy Rolling Hills and It would be my #1 place to gamble IF that poker room existed.

A good sized modern Native American California Casino that's well lit, unlike many other versions that I have seen. It has many different slot machines available, for the gambling type, so you'll have a chance to pick your poison, so to speak. Additionally, they have a few different food options that are priced similar to other non-casino restaurants. Additionally, they offer a gas and diesel filling station on the South side of their property that has about 8 pumps, so it can get crowded fast. The good news is the fuel cost is usually a little less than other gas stations near by.

Rolling Hills Casino truly is the friendliest casino, just like they advertise on their billboards along the 5 freeway. 10/10 would recommend, the staff always delivers top-notch customer service every time we visit. All the employees are great but a few of my personal favorites that I feel should be acknowledged are Josh and Justin at the bar with all the whiskey. They both make a mean old-fashioned and at the front of the house, the best casino host award goes to Michael Gonsalez, he is always attentive and greets both my husband and me, with a great smile. We have been to the concert area and the comedy show, needless to say, we had the best time each time. My husband also played at the golf course and took some friends over, they loved it. Thank you Rolling Hills for making our weekends fun and exciting!!
P.S
I will be bringing my family and friends over whenever they come to visit to experience Rolling Hills as well💵🔥
Additional info: on the south side, they have diesel and regular fuel(diesel a few cents than at a regular gas station). They also have eletric chargers on the back north side, they are a little hidden but they are there. If you have a Tesla u will need your adaptor to charge FYI.

Update: Oct 2022 - The new restaurant Six two Eight is beautifully decorated and is a great relaxing place for a meal. We enjoyed nice breakfast yesterday.
Great place to stop for gaming, meals and fuel. The place is extremely clean and safe with security everywhere. This is always a must stop for us and we highly recommend this organization.
This was the main reason I stopped in corning, needless to say if you love olives this is the place to be. I love the different variety of Olives that you simply won't find in a normal grocery store, the dry black olives, the jalapeno cream cheese stuffed olive, etc. Also the cafe is great, try the mufeta Olive sandwich, and an olive oil milkshake.

More olives than you can shake a stick at. And pickles. And more olives. And tapenades. And olives. Sure, there's also a restaurant here that has burgers and shakes (without olives). But they also have a LOT of olives.
I bought three jars of olives, one jar of hot/spicy olive oil and one jar of "hot" cauliflower. All were nicely wrapped and survived the 3000 miles from here to home. Delicious.
Yes, there are olives available for tasting. You want to try "Texas Hot Chili" olives or "Blue Cheese Stuffed" olives? Yep, that's available.

I Love my olives I ordered from Olive Pit. First time I bought olives from here my husband and I stopped in on our way back to Portland. We were impressed, so if we ever drive to California from our home in Oregon we make sure we stop, but sometimes you are not open, or you can’t wait for someone to be traveling in that direction, you can always order online. The shipping is fast and reasonable as well.

They seem to have quite the selection of a lot of things (wine, pasta, spices, olives, some beer, dried fruit and candy)in this place which is super cool but what stood out to me the most is the selection of local honey! I bought some wild flower honey, it's delicious. I will be going back to get more things🤌
They do have a little restaurant on the other side of the store, food was okay. We did get great customer service though.

This place is AWESOME! I'm not a roadside attraction type of person normally. But this place has got me twice now in the last 6 months. This time I spent over $100, and it's totally worth every penny. I didn't eat at the deli last time, but after eating their olives, I knew the sandwiches had to be great. After I finished my sandwich, my mouth kept watering, wishing for more... great job.

This olive emporium just off of interstate 5 is definitely a stop worth taking! A store packed with a multitude of olives - including a tasting station - the place also has oils, balsamic vinegars, wine, honey, hot sauces, and gift items to list a few. They also have a cafe, which I checked out - just because. In spite of an intriguing assortment of sandwiches, including a bacon jam burger and a muffuletta, I chose the regular hamburger. Their side choices were bagged chips. As I went to the side to wait for my food, I saw that the "kitchen" was nothing more than a snack bar with machines - no grill or stove. This made me immediately question whether my choice of eateries might be questionable. I must say, though, I was impressed! Though far from the best burger I have ever had, it was very tasty and had all kinds of pluses. It was on a warm toasted brioche bun. The condiment bar included things like tapenade and olives, as well as the old standards. All in all, a satisfactory meal and a stop I highly recommend on any trip on I-5!

Loved their sandwich. I loved that I could sample a few products first which I ended up buying three of them. I only wish they had a few more olive types to sample but the minus one star is because when I was shopping I felt like the employees were on top of me and even going in after I use the restroom when I spent over 50 bucks there today. I prob would have spent more if they were not over me and not letting me breathe and browse!
Excellent customer service. Fantastic displays of rocks. Especially in the museum.

I love this shop. Museum quality displays are everywhere you look. And the folks who work here are invariably courteous and helpful. Gaumer's has what you are looking for - whatever your interest in stones, fossils, minerals, mining, jewelry and more. They also provide repair services, and have a fantastic collection of stones and minerals from around the world if you are looking for something to cut & polish for yourself. There is a book section with trail guides and "how to" books, as well as a small collection of old (some out of print) books and reference materials that you can browse through to find just what you are looking. They have supplies for cutting, polishing, tumbling, assaying and more, and their prices are always reasonable. Some of the rarer stones seem a little pricey until you start comparing...
Even if you just want to look around at pretty rocks and fossils you definitely need to add Gaumer's to your itinerary. It has super easy access off and on the freeway, and is a short walk (shorter drive) from restaurants and shops, including a modest sized Tesla Supercharger station.
AND... they will be open on select Saturdays for the holiday season!
Woohoo!
P.S. Don't forget to stop and look at the beautiful petrified wood log in the entry foyer!

Absolutely AMAZING display of rare and precious gems and minerals! This place is a MUST see! With half the store being a museum, you will want to take your time and see EVERY single piece they have on display. Crystals, petrified wood, Indian artifacts, fossils, and so much more from all around the world- including right here in California. Truly stunning and unique pieces that were obviously collected over time and with a LOT of passion for rocks and the like! The shop side of the store is run by very helpful and friendly people who definitely know their stuff! Even though they have items not for sale in the museum, they keep their shop prices affordable and fair. This is a GREAT place to check out, without a doubt!! Thank you and lll be visiting again sometime very soon!

You definitely want to give yourself enough time to look through the museum and the store because it's filled with so many amazing rocks and fossils. The dark room in the museum section is so cool. My parents have purchased quite a few pieces of jewelry from Gaumers, and it's all beautiful. Seeing the store in person was really a treat. The jewelry is beautiful and reasonably priced. The women who worked there were friendly and attentive as well. I will be making it a point to stop in every time I'm in Northern CA.
Updated October 2023*- Gaumer's is still just as lovely and has added a new room within the museum area, which is a must-see.

So many beautiful examples... if the rating was based just on their exhibits they would definitely be a 5 out 5.. now having said that my cousin and I have recently gotten into gold mining "rocking" putting tons of time & money into our operations. we are at the pt where we need to collect or stop. we recently went to Gaumer's Jewelry store (highly recommend in our social cir.)and yes the associate did look at a large number of specimens for us.... but no luck ! supposedly he(my cousin's & his rocks only-this time) hadn't picked anything with gold in or around it lol! needless to say He was crushed! He went to the next exit up and opened the tailgate and dumped ALL his rocks out onto the ground!!!I of course am more optimistic and reclaimed a couple I truly believed had gold in them. When I got home & a friend of mine brought over the metal detector low and behold that machine went off like crazy! A Fix - they should have an associate that is just for checking rocks that customers have... and have time to help guide them to what it is that is needed. THIS STORE COMES HIGHLY RECOMMEND BY MY PEERS & though we don't have a ton of money to spend on classes at the college Gaumer's would benefit from helping these folks as they would get top dollar for any gold that is brought through their door Right?? thanks All

Classy family owned jewelry store featuring one of a kind custom designed pieces. The family travels the world to collect stones and gems that can be purchased in the rough or cut and polished. The small mining museum is very well done and admission is free. This is a great location for kids to learn about mining, minerals and gems. The black light room is awesome and they have geodes that can be cut open on site. Lassen Peak, also known as Mount Lassen, is a 10,460 ft. mountain and active volcano offering a popular hike and climb to the summit. The area features the famous Bumpass Hell trail, showcasing Yellowstone-like volcanic landscapes with boiling mud baths, gas expelling fumaroles, and colorful rock formations.
I really enjoyed hiking to the top of Lassen Peak as it offers a lot of great views along the way and the signage throughout the hike is very informative! Although it was foggy, I really enjoyed it regardless! I recommend coming early as this hike will take up between 3-4 hours to finish!

Summiting Lassen Peak is exciting. It's a relatively moderate to strenuous hike with a relatively steady initial climb, a couple of switch-backs around 10,000ft and a final scramble to get to the summit! It's about 5 miles in total from the parking lot and back and around 2000ft in elevation gain. The views once you get up to the peak are certainly spectacular since the summit itself is at around 10,500ft, pretty high when compared to other nearby peaks. There are views of the valley and Bumpass hell as you climb. Recommend lots of water and electrolytes for the hike!

I did this hike on 11/17/2019.
Lassen Peak isn’t easy hike because a lot of elevation changes,
Only a little over 5 miles RT.
But it starts from 8,363 to 10,321 feet, each of the mile is almost 1,000 feet.
Good workout.... trail is so nice, well maker, very detail,(thank to Lassen park).
Spectacular ,panoramic,uninterrupted view.......
Up only haft mile, I’m able to see 3 lakes,(Helen lake, Jupiter lake, and one more but I don’t know the name of this lake).
Up one mile,I’m able to see Cinder Cone.
Mile and a half up, I’m able to see Lava bed,
And up to the top, I’m able to see Mount Shasta.
On the way down,I’m able to see sunset in Lassen National Park.
Love this trip a lot.
I will come back to Lassen Volcanic for different hike.

Been on the list for a long time. Hiked on July 20.
We went up to the top of Brokeoff Mountain the day before. Much more difficult and less traveled than this trail.
Conditions were beautiful the day we went. Followed suggestions of other and got on the mountain early while the snow was firm. Bottom third was covered in snow. We used trekking poles and micro spikes and felt comfortable in the snow. Those in tennis shoes were slipping and falling. Some places would be dangerous slipping around.
Once you get to the switchbacks, it’s easy peasy. Very groomed and even has stairs! The top was gorgeous. We came to the peak just as a marriage proposal was happening! She said yes!!
Be sure to make the scramble to the actual highest peak if you want to be on the top top.
Great hike.

Climbing Lassen Peak is a nice, non-technical hike on a well maintained path. We did this in July and there were only a couple of very short patches of snow on the trail up, and the walkable snowfield at the top. There was no rock hopping until the 100-yd summit scramble up from the large level top area where most hikers stopped. The view from the top is very nice, and Shasta 70 miles away dominates the northern view.
Parking was easy at the trailhead at 9am on a Friday, and the trail wasn't too crowded. We spent an hour at the summit and were down by 1pm.

Hike is only about 5 miles round trip but the 2.5 miles up include 2000 feet of elevation gain. First mile is the tough one as you're getting acclimated to the elevation. After that it's just a series of simple switchbacks to the top and a short scramble at the top. Lots of folks on the trail on a Friday, fortunately almost everyone wore masks. There was a large patch of snow at the top in late July but it does not hinder the hike at all. You can even see Shasta from the top.
This lake in Lassen Volcanic National Park offers non-motorized boating & trout fishing.
Beautiful place in the winter! They have a parking lot right next to the visitors center which is about a mile up from the entrance to the park coming off 44. There were a few places to park on the side of the road, but there may be more when the snow is not piled up on the side. I have been here before and been able to walk on the lake when it is frozen, but do not do that unless it is verified it is safe! There were warning signs out saying thin ice. If you walk past the visitors center you cross a small bridge over the river which is a very beautiful spot to take a picture. Straight forward from the bridge is a small area where you can sled down a small hill in the snow so bring your saucers/ sleds in the winter time. Also from that hill you get a beautiful virw of Lassen co ered in snow. Close to the entrance you can pull to the side and get a good view of Lassen behind the lake

Serene and tranquil, you will only hear some birds and some distant waterfalls.
Beautiful views of distant peaks. All snow covered even in late June. (Looks like they didn’t get the memo that summer started)
Many opportunities for photography, especially landscape and macro.

The whole area is beautiful. Was there at the end of June and it was chilly in the 50’s. Park was clean, campground looked nice. Saw chipmunks. Trees everywhere and are huge.
The lake is beautiful. Even looking at it you feel like your looking at a picture.
Went to gift shop. Lots to pick from.
Highly recommend.

Lake is peaceful with great snow mountain view. You can walk around the lake about one hour, very easy and relax.

Beautiful lake, mostly flat trail around the lake that will take you about an hour to circle around the lake.
Beautiful sunset here, red-winged black birds and other species can be found here including a bald eagle. Kayaking, SUP or fishing. We were here on memorial weekend and thought we could rent some kayaks or boats but they are not renting it yet so being your own. They say maybe around July they will be available.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been in. We stayed on the C-Loop with our teardrop and enjoyed the space between the campsites. The bear boxes were first rate.
The bathrooms were cleaned daily and while the showers we expensive at $5 per, there were no quarters required and no time limit. Add to it that the shower room was clean and tidy. It was worth EVERY BIT of the $5.
The campground store was neat and had any supplies you might need.
And the best part is an early morning or sunset walk around Manzanita Lake.
This place is a treasure.

Lovely lake. Easy flat trail circle most of it with incredible views of Mt Lassen. Part was closed to swimming because of aggressive otters. But didn’t see people swimming in the other parts. The bottom looked a bit mucky and not very inviting to me.

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The weather was about 70 degrees and light wind. The views and the landscape or just breathtaking. None of it looked real and I was stunned trying to take it all in. If you get the chance to visit I highly recommend you do so. It is life-altering and super peaceful up there. I saw that they have cabins for rent around the lake as well. You can find them online just by simply googling the lake. It is totally worth the trip and make sure you bring a way to charge your phone cuz you will take pictures non-stop while you are there.

I'll never travel to Portland without this trip planner again
Cinder Cone is an extinct volcanic peak located near Butte Lake in Lassen Volcanic National Park. The challenging 4-mile hike to the crater rim offers stunning views of Mt. Lassen and the surrounding Painted Dunes. The trail takes about 3 hours to complete and leads through incredible lava beds before ascending the solidified lava mass of the volcano. The unique landscape resembles a moon-like environment, with slopes of uniform 35 degrees covered in small lava pebbles.
Camped at Butte Lake, which was a short distance to the cinder cone. The cone itself was fantastic hike, steep uphill but worth it for the majestic panoramic view of the surrounding area of Lassen.

I totally forgot to add my review of this place...haha. Went around June of 2021 and it was an amazing experience, coming from a person that has ZERO interest in volcanos. My friend convinced me to go during a tour through Northern California and I'm glad I did. You'll need hiking boots and just take it one step at a time focused on the top. The hill is steep but it's totally worth it once you reach the top. The pictures are nothing compared to seeing it up close and in person. Absolutely breathtaking...so get out there and enjoy!
D. Jackson — Google review
Really unique hike, about 2 miles to the top. Walking to the base is relatively flat and decently shaded if the sun is not directly upwards. Kind of a mix all the way between sand and gravel. Great views all around. Should do this if at Lassen.
Brent Cunningham — Google review
Great hike with very unique terrain. You're basically hiking in black cinder, some combination of sand and gravel. The hike starts off fairly level with light incline and tree shade. As you're walking through the wooded area, you get a first up close view of the lava beds. Once you get out of the wooded area, you are pretty much at the base of the cinder cone. You can go either left (clockwise) or right (counter clockwise) at that point. Going straight up from the left is the shortest route and imo the easier of the two. It's steep but you can take breaks as you're going up. The gravel/sand makes it relatively easy to stay in place. Once you get up, you get an amazing panoramic view of multiple lakes and peaks, as well as the painted dunes.
Going down is probably easier the same way going up (from the clockwise route) because the back side is a bit steep. If you go down the backside, you go around the cinder cone towards the painted dunes.
Would recommend wearing hiking shoes and bringing hiking poles, especially for going downhill.
Kevin Kao — Google review
We drove a little further off the beaten track to cross this place off the list off must see locations in Lassen Volcanic National Park. True to name you really get a chance to admire how the landscape has undergone great and dramatic change. The colors that one sees at the top of the cone are worth the laborious trek up the steep cone. For sure you'll feel a bit tired as the terrain does few favors for you.
I really loved this experience and highly recommend it to any visitor to the area

We hiked up to cinder cone in late August. The view on top was amazing. The hike uphill was short but VERY strenuous especially if the sun is out. The entire walk uphill is exposed. I’d say go there in late afternoon or early morning. Bring a walking stick. We wouldn’t have made it without it. Don’t forget Lots of water. totally worth the effort to go to the top. We were there alone. Had such a lovely time there. This is the best place in Lassen NP.
Kennedy J — Google review
A short hike from the butte lake grounds, the cinder cone looks like something out of this world. The hike up is very difficult, it is a steep grade and the ground is almost like sand. Every time you take a step up, you slide part way down. The view from on top is fantastic, you can see several lakes, the painted dunes, and also the lava beds. Only thing is that the trail on the other side wasn't clearly marked and we got lost for a little bit.
Steven Hung — Google review
Such an amazing experience! Glad we finished the weekend with this trail. It’s a steep and tiring hike up, but so worth it! Amazing view of Lassen Peak and the lava beds. Definitely worth reading up a little on Cinder Cone volcanoes to understand what you’re looking at.
Manu Moreau — Google review
Quiet, easy hike to the cone, however the hike up the cone is challenging. Like walking up the steepest gravel covered sand dune you can imagine, but it is grey/ black volcanic ash and fine ejecta. The beautiful, surreal views from the top are a real reward for the effort. The Painted Dunes and lava field are something completely different from the surrounding landscape. The hike back down the cone is a breeze - a long, heel heavy stride will bring a hiker to the bottom in a quarter of the climb time:)

I can’t believe it there is only 98 reviews on Google for this unique hike! My 9 years old daughter hiked up there and the view of the crater, lava bed and painted sand dune. The uphill hike was really challenging but it worthy!!
Turtle Bay Exploration Park is a large natural history park that offers visitors a range of attractions, including a museum, botanical garden, and forest camp. While the museum may be on the smaller side and can typically be explored within an hour, the vast park requires several hours to fully explore. The playgrounds are great for children and feature zip lining activities. One of the highlights is feeding the lively parrots or lorekeets.
Amazing park and museum to spend few hours. Museum is quite small and can be done within an hour. The park is huge and takes couple of hours. The playgrounds are good for kids with zip lining and all. Lorekeets /parrots feeding is a blast and definitely do that

Edited: Nice place for kids to learn new things and explore...
Some things didn't seem correctly priced ... $3 for a stick to attract the butterflies... I saw better butterflies outside in the wild! We barely saw 10 simple butterflies that day... maybe it was the heat, it was 110°... Other people's reviews and pictures are 100x nicer than our experience. While it was so warm kids didn't want to play in the park. I'm sure they would have loved it if the heat wasn't as scorching.
The parrots seemed more worth the money... it was $2 for a nectar cup and parrots came straight to you when you get those cups.
The Tutankhamun exhibition was nice... it was scary for the little one though (3 year old, got scared of the animal figures) but the teenager loved it all.

Calling this lovely place a park is an understatement. It is more like an amusement park: a zoo, a museum, several hiking trails, a botanic garden (closed) as well as adventure-style playgrounds. A great place to learn and play with kids. This place is full of love and support from the community.

Took the Family to Turtle Bay Museum for the tree house exhibit. It was so much fun and so many activities to do. My kiddo made a binary bracelet with his initials, chalk art, dressed up in scientist and engineers clothing and got to play in the tree house. The marine exhibit and art gallery exhibit was amazing to view. Our favorite activity is to vote for what to see for future displays. After, we like to go walking to the nursery.

It was a hot day, most of the animals were panting. Maybe set up a mister for them. Anyways, it was our 1st time being here. We loved everything about it
Iris Herron — Google review
I let my assumption of it using the word turtle…that I would see more then 2.
Is this a cool thing to do with kids, yes.
Should you spend 4 hours here for your moneys worth, yes.
The cost is around the same amount I would pay for a zoo with 2x the animals. So I do think the price is a bit stiff.
The building itself didn’t have much animal wise to see. Thus assuming that’s the museum part? But it’s called Exploration park? Which the park (play grounds) is attached to the museum an only accessible via museum tickets. So it shouldn’t show up as a separate google maps pin an parents assume it’s just a park to go to.
That being said. The staff were all wonderful.
The animal show was cool. We loved that they walked the animals close by. Highly recommend if your child can sit for 35 mins an not move nor eat.
Bathrooms, ✔️
There are two play areas an unfortunately people do not know how to read signs. There was a family with larger teens throwing water bottles an jumping in the toddler baby section with their parents. Leaving the area unfortunately unsafe to let the little kids explore safety. There needs to either be a larger more obvious sign or a staff member.
The parrot feeding was super cool. Respect the staff an what they say. If you know your kids can’t handle direction don’t set them up for failure an walk them inside.
The map they give makes it seem like it’s massive an large when it’s really small an the font is hard to read. We missed tons due to time an unsure of where to go.

An excellent spot for families, ideally children.
The inside of the museum is focused on local history, such as the Wintu, Redding in the 20's, local biodiversity, etc.
There's a dedicated hands-on section in the back that's good for young kids.
The backside of the museum is the actual park and quite expansive. There's a sizeable playground for families and an area to interact with exotic and local birds.
Further down is a trail that extends for a mile or so and you can check out small caged areas for hawks or the bobcat.
Definitely an easy way to spend 90 minutes to get an idea of the area.
It's also common to find stray cats nearby as the locals pointed out that there's a gentleman who tends to them.

It was the best decision ever they have all sorts of animals, and the year-long membership is affordable. They had amazing exhibits. A whole bunch of stuff for kids to have fun. I went in the morning on a weekday, so they were really empty, but on the weekends, they are really super busy. I hear so be warned ⚠️ lol.i am totally going agian . It was a very rainy day as I stopped by the museum to
visit the aquarium and the
local history exhibits.
The museum has a nice
exhibit on the Wintu tribe
that has lived in the area
for over thousand years.
You will find an exhibits
on the building of the
Sundial Bridge, an aquarium with beaver and fish, a
urban watershed river lab,
and local history.
It was raining too hard to
visit the other parts of the
park including a botanical
garden, arboretum, and
a forest camp with a parrot house.
I did stop at the bistro for
lunch and had a nice Asian
Chicken Salad.
Located on Sundial Bridge

Me & my family had a nice time here. We got to catch the animal show, which was really cute! The butterfly exhibit had a good amount of different healthy butterflies. They have a nice kids playground. My daughter really enjoyed the Zipline 🙂 We didn't get to see the gardens (it was hot🥵) but we'll definitely check it out next time!

Playground features closed lazy mean ladies run playground with an iron fist but won't have the fun features repaired. What a pathetic museum and playground.
The Sundial Bridge is an iconic pedestrian overpass that spans the Sacramento River and resembles a cruise ship on land. Designed by famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava in 2004, the bridge's glass deck offers spectacular views of the river and its surroundings. Lit up at night, the bridge's glass path provides an enchanting experience for visitors who enjoy peaceful walks in nature.
I loved this place! This is a nice place for peaceful walks surrounded by nature. The people is really polite and friendly in the Sundial Bridge shop and coffee as well. I was impressed about how much they are encouraging awareness 'avoiding fires in the forests.' Well done! Taking care of our planet is extremely important.

We had a really great time at the Sundial Bridge. Walking on the river walk, the Turtle Bay Museum and checking out the bridge which is very cool.
The Sacramento River has great trails with wildlife all around. The trail near the bridge includes a beautiful garden with educational stops for everyone.
The Turtle Bay Museum and it's grounds were fun for all of us, including my fifteen year old daughter. She interacted with birds in the Parrot House and butterflies, and zipped on the zip-line in the playground.
I'm sure her favorite part was the butterflies though, as we spent well over an hour in the butterfly house.
In the museum there was a hand on educational room that has really fun activities about prehistoric flying reptiles, Pterosaurs.
A whole room displaying replicas of the items discovered in King Tutankhamun.
Pretty fascinating.
There is a cafe that is currently being remodeled but Mosaic Restaurant was open.
If you are unfamiliar with reading it's very hot in the summer months and stays pretty warm until October. I recommend sunblock and if your heat sensitive the indoor part of the museum and Mosaic restaurants during the summer.
Otherwise visit early or in the evening I know they open at 9:00 a.m. the bridge and trails are always open but not all of the grounds.

Beautiful FREE nature and artsy area, connects with a separate parking area on the other side of the botanical garden that closes earlier, so if you want to stay later this is the side to go in at. I am here in the winter, & the sun went down early so I was able to get some nighttime shots. The restrooms are clean, the park was well-kept except I really wish the botanical garden had better signage, many plants had zero signs telling you what they are.

I love taking evening strolls here, especially during sunset time. In the summer that is really the best time to walk my dog since the pavement can get too hot during the day. But the evening time is beautiful to see the sunsets over the water. The lights at the bridge are beautiful as well. There are many different paths to take that keeps my walking route interesting. There are usually people along these paths, especially on the bridge taking picture or in the area down below the bridge. The area down below next to the river is super cool, and helps to cool you down on hot days. I have encountered snakes on the path when it starts to get dark, so be careful and aware, especially with pets.

I would recommend going at night...But only if you can afford the somewhat steep $20 ( with a $5 discount for Turtle Bay Members) admission fee to the Glowing Wild event.
According to the flyer,
"Experience Glowing Wild Lantern Festival for the first time at the Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay Exploration park, featuring 10 acres of botanical gardens filled with larger-than-life Asian lantern displays inspired by wildlife and plants from around the world, great for all ages."
Although pretty amazing and colorful during the day...Apparently at night everything is lit up, hence the Glowing in the name. And about the only animal NOT on display was the raccoon...

The campground also rents pontoon boats. There are public outhouses that are maintained fairly well in multiple locations as well as parking and there's a Frisbee golf course right next to it. Every 4th of July this is where they do the fireworks and lots of friendly people can be found walking or biking the trail at all times. An inactive volcano, Mount Shasta is the fifth-highest mountain in the Golden State. 14,179 feet tall it dominates the landscape of this area of Northern California. I'm from North Carolina, which boasts the tallest mountain east of the Mississippi (Mount Mitchell, 6684 feet).
Allegedly, the volcano was last active in 1250 AD. No Yelp then to prove it one way or the other.
There is a fabulous vista point not far away on I-5. I'd love to catch it at sunrise but alas, I'm heading south this afternoon and can't stay to get closer to Mount Shasta. Instead, I'll just have to be satisfied with the great views of the mountain from the highway.

Very spiritual place to climb. I highly recommend that Read Julius Evola’s “Meditations on the Peaks: Mountain Climbing as Metaphor for the Spiritual Quest” before you visit. You know as Evola said
“Considering that today the mountain has been physically conquered and that there are few peaks that man has not yet reached, it is important to keep the conquest from being debased and from losing its higher meaning. Thus, it is necessary that the younger generations gradually come to appreciate action at the level of ritual and that they slowly succeed in finding again a transcendent reference point. It is through this reference point that the feats of audacity, risk, and conquest as well as the disciplines of the body, the senses, and the will that are practiced in the immovable, great, and symbolic mountain peaks, lead men to the realization that all in man is beyond himself. In this way these feats will be justified in the context of the spiritual revolutionary movement that is currently emerging among our people.”

The fifth tallest mountain in California and the second highest in the Cascades, second only to Ranier. But what really separates Mt Shasta from the rest of the mountains is literally its separation. The isolation, prominance, and grade make this a remarkable mountain that rises from the local 4,000-14,179.
Any angle you try to climb will be challenging, with slopes that are often 40-45 degrees, covered in scree and talus. But the views from the top of such an isolated mountain are worth it.

Summit back in July 2023. Weather was perfect! Ice axe and crampons are still needed. What a beautiful majestic mountain.

Argyle Winery is a renowned winery in the Willamette Valley region that offers tours, meals and tastings. Known for its high-quality pinot noir and chardonnay, it is one of the most popular wineries in the area. While some wineries offer tours, most have tasting rooms where visitors can enjoy their wines. The atmosphere at Argyle Winery is beautiful with a garden terrace that visitors can use when the weather improves.
Large modern tasting room with outdoor seating tucked in a charming town. Smooth and elegant wines, poured by a knowledgeable sommelier paired with a delicious charcuterie platter.

The vibe and layout here are spectacular. The walls and ceiling are immaculate, and very open for noise dampening. You might feel like you're around a bunch of people, but you can't pick out any one specific conversation. Which is great because this was our third stop out of three for our wine tasting day.
If you haven't read my other review, I was a designated driver for a girls night out, where I was designated an honorary female and allowed to sample wines, but not drink significantly. This tasting facilitator (I never know the technical term. Sommelier?), Phillip, also returned my back-and-forth banter about the vintage water options they had for tasting, and even brought out a few extra additions to our purchased tasting, since we were all getting along fantastically.
I especially enjoyed the "wine swingset" presentation that allowed the easy carrying of multiple tastings, sixteen filled wine glasses were brought out by one person, which is just outright impressive.
My wife and I bought three bottles of wine (mainly sparkling, which seems to be their specialty), a friend who accompanied us renewed their membership to their wine club, and both of the individuals who went with us bought their own few bottles of wine. In all, a successful trip, and highly recommended.
Also, Phillip's tattoo is not "F for Phillip." I'll let him explain the meaning to you, but hopefully I may have saved some of you who visit some embarrassment 😂

Great winery with a friendly staff. My friends are wine members and love the atmosphere. I have to say that it is a nice and cozy sort of feel. We went during a club event and just arrive early because the good can go quickly. The food was great and was paired with some of the tastings.

Was surprised to see that Argyle on had 4.3 stars. Although many probably want to be out in the fields this is a great in city location. The property also does a nice job not making you feel you are on the main drag. The wine was really solid, great price points for the quality. Edita helped us out and she is fantastic, seek her out!!

Should change the name to tasting room since it is misleading. Was expecting to visit a working winery since my wife knows the brand. The room itself was very nice but 45 dollar for four glass flights seems kinda high and the 45 charcuterie BOX way over price.

My beautiful sister-in-law took me for my first wine tasting experience, and it happened to be at the Argyle in Dundee. It was really fun we had sparkling wine and still wine. It was a unique experience in a very pretty place, and I want to do it again.

This place is just…WOW!
The best bubbly wine around. The atmosphere is beautiful, and they have a wonderful outdoor space that I can’t wait to use once the weather improves.
The tasting room manager is also the nicest, most selfless human around

This was my first stop of the day. I had a great flight and charcuterie box. My server was wonderful and knowledgeable. At the end i told her i wanted a winery with mostly reds and she gave a great recommendation. Visit was Friday 4/14/23. The weather was amazing!

I am mostly a red wine drinker, but there bubbles were on point and I thoroughly enjoyed all if them as well as comparing the differed harvest times in their chardonnays. Whenever I walk into a bigger place, I assume the service won’t be top notch, but in a very hot and busy day, we were well taken care of and checked in on.
Very dog friendly!!!!

I typically don’t like to leave bad reviews unless the experience was really poor…. we showed up for a friends birthday celebration and came from another winery. i had called ahead to try to talk to them about us being late and called about 7 times. No answer. We decided to make the drive over. When we arrived we apologized for being late and let them know we did call and the lady at the front gave us a very hard time. this attitude did not change when i told her i did try to reach out. ( i understand being late can ruin the flow of reservations) and we would have gone somewhere else if they would have answered.
They greet you with a glass of champagne and they handed my friend a glass and then ripped it out of her hands and asked if she was 21.i understand doing your due diligence but the manor was rude and unprofessional and are also a group of younger women and no other individual from our party was asked if they were 21 or even carded.
Finally we were sat and our waiter was extremely rude and we had asked about ingredients and notes in the wine and he gave us short and snippy answers, did not explain the wine to us and had come over only once during our whole visit. We ended up getting only one glass of wine.
We love Argyle wine however this place was not pleasant. The service was abysmal and the staff was unfriendly and pretentious.

We went to the Helio Sequence concert at the Argyle Winery Tasting House. The wine served was excellent, but the winery peeps were even more amazing! They were cordial and very helpful. The combination of both led to a truly wonderful experience! Of note, the tacos in the picture were provided by an outside vendor for the event, Kopitos.

Loved it here!
We were greeted with a lovely glass of sparkling. The place is airy and also comfy and modern. The wines were all excellent. We also had a delicious meat and cheese box that was perfect. Service was warm and also on point.
We will definitely come back!

This winery came highly rated and what was Interesting was the favorable comments from other winery staff about the location when I mentioned I had visited which tells you something.
All the sparking were good and the patio was nice. It's not on a vineyard but the space makes up for it

Really enjoyed Argyle on our trip out to the Portland area! The tasting room is right off the main road but you can't even tell. Its a nice spot with a lot of care put into it, just as the wines have a lot of care put into them. We had a great time with awesome service and some great wines. There are some seriously spectacular bubbles at this place.
We loved it so much we blew through all of our bottles and had to order more for the holidays!
It’s dog-friendly too!
If you're in the area, make sure Argyle is on the list!!

Driving back from the coast, my partner, her sister, and I decided to check out a winery in the Dundee area. Argyle came up as a top choice on a couple of the lists we found, and it was right on our route, so we were excited to try it. When we arrived and mentioned that we didn’t have reservations, the tone of the interaction completely changed. They said we could only do glasses (not a tasting), which was totally fine and expected given that it was a spontaneous visit. We were starving from the drive, so we asked about a cheeseboard, and they said they “might” be able to get us one. I was surprised they used this language given that the food was a pre-made charcuterie box (among stacks of many others) that they pulled from the fridge. They also said we would have to sit outside despite having several empty tables that never filled for the hour we were there. Fortunately, there were some concrete blocks to sit on as we worked our way through the charcuterie box. I enjoyed the wine, the food was decent - kind of your typical packaged stuff - but the service was disappointing. I know reservations are recommended, but a place like this may as well say “no walk-ins” if that’s the vibe they are going to exude. If you want to try Argyle and aren’t into degradation, be sure to make reservations. Better yet, maybe just buy a bottle.

When it comes to the perfect mix or venue, atmosphere, endless great wines and the beautiful blend of them all…it’s Argyle.
We recently had a birthday celebration there and we had a private room experience. Just walking in gives you all the happy feels because it really feels like you are stepping into another world. Elegant wine glasses, staff that curated the best flight of options, and of course friend and family time spent over a glass.
We love this place, especially the sparkling wine. If you are a Red drinker, white sipper or a sparkling popper, Argyle will offer them all.
We visited Knudsen Winery tasting room yesterday. I was so excited that I forgot to take pictures. This winery is a must stop! I am lucky to live close by to the Oregon Dundee Hills AVA and have enjoyed many different wines at different wineries. This one is will make the favorites. Many different Pinot’s to try, one of my favorites was Backstory. It is a fruity full flavor taste with a smooth finish. The Chardonnay was very good as well. The indoor tasting room is a bit small but very comfortable and I am looking forward to sitting outside on a warm spring day. The staff is very knowledgeable about the fruit the processing and the finished product. We were welcomed by Page one of the owners. She was very attentive during our whole stay. We came home with quite a bit of wine and a warm blanket and a book about their journey. Make your reservation today you won’t be sorry.

We had the privilege of touring this gorgeous vineyard with Paige Knudsen, the vineyard owner. She shared a wealth of information. My husband and I learned a incredible amount during the hike. Paige is a fantastic host. She treated us like guests in her home. I loved the wine tastings set up in two places during our hike. WOW! Best hike ever! Hike and wine! When we returned from the hike, the gracious staff served our delicious lunch. We tasted a variety of the amazing wines during our lunch on their beautiful patio overlooking the vineyard. What a visceral experience! The staff at the tasting room is second to none. We enjoyed learning about the vineyard from both Paige and Lester. They ensured we enjoyed every moment at Knudsen Vineyards. We loved the wines so much we joined the club! We look forward to enjoying a "taste of Knudsen Vineyards" at our home in Arizona each time we open a bottle. We will return here!

We had an outstanding experience touring the Knudsen property, walking through the vineyard to the cabin for lunch and a tasting of Knudsen wines! Highly recommend a trip while visiting in Willamette!

We had an amazing experience with the vineyard tour, lunch, and wine tasting at Knudsen on May 15th! Our tour guide Lester was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of wine making at Knudsen and in the area. We got rained on quite a bit for the tour, but honestly I expected nothing less from the PNW. We highly recommend the full walking tour to anyone interested in learning more about the wine making process.

We had an amazing tour of this beautiful vineyard on a wet, even snowy, day in late March. The tour included interesting stories about the history of the vineyard, the grape varieties and why they were chosen, why they are planted the way they are, and the wines they produce.
The tasting confirmed everything we expected about the fine quality of the Knudsen wines - a terrific rose, fantastic Chardonnay and, of course, out of this world Pinot Noir’s were had.
These are wines, and this is a vineyard, worth a visit! To continue enjoying these wines, we became Knudsen club members on the spot and are awaiting our first case (as soon as the temperature rises above freezing).
And, we will be back for another visit!

Delightful, chill tasting experience of Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs. Charcuterie plates and other nibbles available. We really enjoyed all of the wines tasted. Lester was friendly, knowledgeable about the wines, region and wine in general. Precautions for Covid are good, vaccine cards required (cool), good ventilation and the extra nice touch of blankets on our seats to allow for open doors on a bit chilly day.

We celebrated Father’s Day at Knudsen Winery with some of our kids and every aspect was truly fabulous! We ordered a couple of bottles: the Family Series 2019 Pinot was perfection-in-a-bottle and the rose is perfect on a warm summer day! The tasting room is nestled within the sprawling and beautiful vineyard - very picturesque! Guests can even book a guided hike that includes wine (of course!) and lunch!
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and are on hand to answer questions, or they are sensitive about giving guests space and privacy while checking in periodically (our preference). Our family loved the entire experience and cannot wait to return!!

Where to start?! Knudsen is tucked away down a gravel road leading up to the lookout. Here there is plenty of outdoor seating which is very family friendly. Knudsen even offers a kid juice tasting with a cheese and meat plate. Their staff is wonderful and kind. They have created a family like culture that extends to their guest. You can take a tour around the winery see picturesque views. Definitely check them out if you are in the Dundee Hills area!

The garden brunch, tastings, and walk around the vineyard was a true delight! Reservations were easy to make and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The brunch food was fantastic! My partner and I really enjoyed learning about the family’s history with the land and the exciting new things they have coming up… bubbles!!!!!
The Outlook and tasting room areas are beautiful and have lovely detail yet they felt comfortable and relaxing. It’s clear the Knudsen family has placed importance on welcoming visitors to their *home* and have created an environment that allows for connecting with others and enjoying the full experience.
We left with an additional bottle of Pinot Noir to enjoy at home and can’t wait to get back this fall for more, including some of their events! Thank you, Knudsen Family, for a great start to our day and for the history you’re sharing with your visitors.

Cannot say enough great things about Knudsen. They hosted a big group of us for a tasting and it was an incredible experience. Their wine is delicious, their staff is fantastic and such a lovely setting for all a reasonable cost. Highly recommend this beautiful, family-owned winery.

Had a great experience and tasting. The wine and service were excellent with beautiful views.
We attended the event with a dog walk through the grounds with stops for tasting along the way. The hike was mild, scenic and leisurely.
Would definitely go back.

Beautiful winery with delicious wine and tasty food! It's worth the drive out to the location! We'll be back to try some of the other adventures that they offer like a vineyard hike or brunch?

We had a really nice time tasting at Knudsen Winery today. The wines are exceptional and the tasting room is inviting, casual and has beautiful views.
This area is full of vineyards that grow some of the best Pinot Noir in the country and Knudsen meets the mark for Pinot Noir.

We had the most relaxing and lovely experience here. Not only is the setting beautiful, but the service was so knowledgeable, offering so much info about the wines without being intrusive to our socializing. The wines were incredible especially the Pinot noirs we tried. Great value for a tasting and I have been to many in the area.
