Would definitely revisit this gem,❤️

I really enjoyed my visit to the Canadian Aviation Museum. There's a nice balance between airworthy aircraft and restoration projects. Nice to see the progress on the Lancaster and Mosquito projects. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The day we were there they had a Harvard, Chipmunk and Stearman flying. Great to watch them taxi out fir their flight. Highly recommended!
Charles Walker — Google review
Fun! Less of a museum than a restoration workshop but that just made it all the more interesting. They had a disassembled WW2-era Lancaster bomber in the process of restoration as well as a Vickers Air Canada fright simulator circa 1960s you can plunk down in. Not a big space, but a fascinating one.
Andrew Baker — Google review
Absolutely fantastic tour. Great guide that really explained the planes and made the museum come alive. Can’t wait to try a flight in the Stearman!

Really enjoyed my visit to this unique space. The history and stories behind the exhibits were very informative and intriguing. Our tour guide Keleen (think that was her name), was very friendly and interactive. The staff and persons working there were all friendly and tool time out of working on planes to chat with us. One highlight was meeting Ron,an ex pilot who has a plane in his honour on display. He was so amiable and you can see his passion and satisfaction from years in aviation.
The display areas were good and the "Bad Penny" story really resonated. Had to get the book. Excellent learning opportunity for teaching history if you are an educator as well.

This was my first time ever going to a place like this and I loved it! My boyfriend lives planes and so I decided to take him here! We came from Detroit! I also wanted to say our tour guide Logan was AMAZING! He made the experience so great. If you ever visit here, please ask for Logan! You will not regret it
SYMONE MCCLAIN — Google review
What an experience!
Went with the kids for the first time, and we loved the tour! We learned so much about the airplanes used during the World War and the most inspiring stories on how the restoration of some of these airplanes is taking place by volunteers!
I highly recommend taking your kids here. They had so much fun with the simulators and also the gift shop has many options for the little ones to choose from.
There are plenty of free parking spaces outside.
Reza Aein (rez) — Google review
Seemed quite expensive in terms of ticket costs vs the size of the museum and the things on display.
Had to wait for someone to get checked in and buy tickets to be able to get admission to the museum.
It took approximately 10 minutes for the receptionist to even let us know they will be with us shortly.
Didn’t expected that kind of unnecessary delay which I believe happened due to the short space, high ticket costs and the small passage they’ve made for the guests to enter the museum.
Not something I would recommend unless you want to see some old plane models
Mayank Jain — Google review
Small but great place. My wife and I showed up about 45 minutes before closing and they happily gave us a tour. They have several restoration projects going and welcomed us to take as many pictures as we wanted. Also, all the work being done is by volunteers who are passionate about Canadan aviation history.
John Fisher — Google review
Great collection of historic aircraft in static displays, while being refurbished, and that you can ride! The best part of our visit was the people who work and volunteer their time to share the stories of the collection and their passion for preserving these legendary legacies. We expected to be there a couple of hours; we were happy to continue exploring right up until closing time.
Wendy Zielen — Google review
Great place for the history of Canadian contributions in world wars in aviation. Great restoration projects are currently ongoing. Super fun place for kids.
Arif Rahman — Google review
I was skeptical of how fun a tour would be as I never took interest in aviation and this museum seemed insignificant, but the guides here are not your average guides, the history here does have significance, and the history here put tears in full grown men. The guides here know the history of not only aviation but deep knowledge of history and museums across the US and Canada. As you walk around, volunteers will be building planes in the center. You can tell that your guide isn't the typical museum guide who learned about the museum from textbooks. Simulators with advanced technologies for their day, souvenirs collected by pilots from around the world, affordable flights over scenic city & natural views, simulators that help visitors experience flight training, indoor and outdoor areas - really incredible history.
Thank you Larry.

We chose the Canadian Aviation Museum for a wedding rehearsal party on August 18th. It was amazing! The bride and groom were thrilled with the venue and the guests were excited about the unique wedding rehearsal idea. We began our event with drinks followed by a tour for our group. We had a family member who flew in the Lancaster bomber during the Second World War as a mid-upper gunner, so we were very interested in the Lancaster and the restoration project. It is also part of the reason we chose this venue. Dave, our guide took us behind the scenes to show us the restoration of the rear gunner turret and shared what that experience would have been like for the crew. After our tour we had dinner inside the hangar on a perfect summer evening with the hangar door open to the tarmac and three restored airplanes; the Harvard, the Chipmunk, and the Stearman on display. Later in the evening our guests were able to watch the pilots prepare the three planes and take off for a memorial flight. It was a very special evening for all of us and throughly enjoyed by all. The volunteers at the museum ensured the entire event was a tremendous success. A huge thank you to Mary and all of the volunteers at Canadian Aviation Museum for an amazing evening. I encourage anyone looking for a unique venue for any large or small private, family or corporate event to consider the Canadian Aviation Museum.

We spent hours in this wonderful museum. The display of aircraft and artifacts is amazing. We were lucky to have met one of the folks restoring the De Havilland Mosquito aircraft and he took the time to explain in detail the work they've put into restoring this wooden wonder! There are kid friendly displays and there are a couple of aircraft you can 'fly' in simulator mode, that was so much fun!

Amazing hospitality, very very friendly guides with great knowledge and passion.
I really recommend people to visit if they are in Windsor.

Excellent museum with friendly staff dedicated to keeping history alive and honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Well worth the 600 mile trip to not only meet the staff, but take an Honour Flight in the Harvard.

Small but informative one. Good place for kids, there is a flight simulator which kids will enjoy for sure.

I had an amazing experience flying with the Canadian Aviation Museum in Windsor, ON. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Honour Flight with aerobatics for anyone looking for a memorable aviation adventure. In addition to the fantastic flight, the historical aviation items on display in the hangar are truly fascinating. It's like taking a step back in time, and I highly recommend exploring these exhibits as well.

Great place to learn about Canadian aviation history. A great chance to see the hard working volunteers restoring the Lancaster and building the Mosquito. Last night they held an event for the reading of The Shephard.
Oxley Estate Winery is a charming winery and restaurant located on the south shore of Essex County. The establishment offers a lovely setting for enjoying delicious food and wine, with friendly staff providing excellent service. Guests have raved about menu items such as the Koji fried chicken, sticky duck wings, warm apple fritters, and perch dish. The high-quality cuisine is complemented by a great selection of wines, making it an ideal spot for lunch or dinner.
We celebrated my friend's birthday here on Saturday. We enjoyed a delicious lunch, flights of wine and basked in the beautiful surroundings. Brooke was our server and she was outstanding. Can't wait to return!

What an amazing meal! When we heard the specials we knew we had to try them. Flavours were so spot on! Our waitress also helped us with our wine choice - she knew her wines, and allowed us to try the ones we were debating on. A great stop!

One of the best spots in the area. Cozy in the cooler months and fun in the gardens in the summer. Excellent seasonally inspired menu. Nice white and rose wines. Excellent service and great mocktail selection also.

Good wine, okay food and amazing venue. I had dinner here and the food was decent but not amazing for the price. The venue itself is wonderful so recommend just doing a wine tasting instead of dinner.

Definitely the best restaurant and winery in SW Ontario, and good enough that we drive up here from Ohio a few times every year. Inventive menu items as well as some solidly executed simpler/comfort items. Highly recommend!

Fabulous dinner and excellent service. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My wife said the perch was the best she ever had. My hamburger was a 10/10. You could tell the beef was of the highest quality and a real chef had prepared it. Also a lovely setting for a drink or a meal.

Beautiful winery and restaurant on the south shore on essex county. Friendly staff and we tried one of the new entree on the menu. The Doji fried chicken was delicious (except for the instant pot diakon) was delicious and an excellent addition to the menu. As always, the wines were tasty. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

Lovely setting and delicious food. Specifically the Koji fried chicken and sticky duck wings were both so tasty. Finished the meal with warm apple fritters. I would gladly make the drive for that chicken again…I hope it stays on the menu. Our server Kristy was friendly and helpful for wine selection.

We stopped in yesterday for a wine tasting and some brunch !
It was a rainy day so it was nice to be able to still go to the winery because they had coverage. Inside is always so beautiful and clean, and usually the grounds are very well maintained. 4 of shared the charcuterie board and it was not enough, especially for the price. Overall we enjoyed our experience Including the wine tasting. It is nice because they wave the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle of wine

I've been here a few times and the food has always been fantastic. The seasonal soups are amazing.

Beautiful grounds, and the food was delicious. We had the duck wings, white bean hummus, summer salad and Atlantic char. I heard the menu does change a bit but the duck wings are a staple, all the dishes were really well done, especially the white bean hummus and duck wings. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love their red wines. Their tastings are great & the view is magnificent. They often have sales by the bottle & by the case. They also offer delivery to your door throughout Essex County for a min order of $180. We will continue to support this local winery. Well worth the trip to check it out for yourself.

Great spot - the view of lake Erie is impressive! Music was nice, food delicious, warm and fresh. I'm proud that wine like this, is produced in Essex County. Atmosphere is upscale. Good job guys! 👍 👍 👍

The name says it all. The setting here is absolutely perfect. Beautiful views of the lake set the atmosphere and the tasting room has 270 degree viewing. The staff was friendly and attentive. The wines have a "young" flavor and minimal complexity but are appropriately priced for thier value.

I spent Sunday lunchtime with friends at Viewpointe. We ordered our food and drinks ( the selection of food wasn’t great - and the method of ordering was totally frustrating) we were each given a buzzer to go and collect our food when ready. Our friends buzzer went and they collected their food - ours didn’t when our fronds had almost finished our food (we were still waiting to be buzzed) our friends looked at our buzzer number and said hey I am sure I saw that number when we collected ours - I went and looked and sure enough there was our food … it had been sitting outside on this hot day for a while. I wanted fresh food - not prepared to eat this when it had been sitting for so long. Trying to find someone to help me was impossible - I asked the girl at the cash desk “she was too busy l and said I had to wait . I went into the store the lady in their said she don’t know what to do and did not know where the manager was . I asked on the kitchen they were not prepared to help either. WHAT A WAY TO KILL A LUNCH WITH GOOD FRIENDS. Eventually I found someone who said they were a manger and she arranged for my food to be changed and would let me k ow when it was ready. No real apology just “well we are busy” - honestly not wasn’t really busy at all. The food came - it was mediocre at best and served in their “speciality” take out containers . We left after eating . All four of us vowing not to use this winery again… there are plenty of others to choose from. I have one star because the view is lovely. Knocked off stars for the service ( there was not any) the food (blah)the ambience and the take out containers. On a plus. It’s we hot Dairy Queen after .. great ice cream service and seating .
If you are reading this because you want ab honest review I would say”GIVE VEWPOINTE A MISS”

It's a great location. If you're doing a wine tour of the local wineries, start here. The wine is similar, the people are very friendly and the location is very nice on the shore, However, the facility seems like they spent a lot of money and then stopped on the landscaping and other furnishings, so it feels "unfinished."
Definitely put this place on your tour.
Ron Reed — Google review
Worst service I’ve ever witnessed. Arrived with a group for a wine tour at 4pm scheduled to stay for a quick drink before heading to the next location. Upon arrival the blonde server treated us with the most degrading disrespect I’ve ever experienced. While getting settled in and talking amongst ourselves she abruptly whistled to get our attention and proceeded to yell at us with a condescending tone while explaining the details on how to order drinks. Not only did she speak to us poorly, they were already closing down the winery rushing us with an hour until close. As a group of many who work in the service industry we were shocked at the way the situation was handled and decided to leave to the next winery which was a much more positive experience.

Viewpoint winery
We went to this winery as a suggestion due to the views-and they did not disappoint. It has a beautiful outdoor seating area overlooking the water.
You start by going inside to order your wine/drink and then go back around to get outside. You are able to pick your own flight of 4 wines. We tried surf side white, Riesling vqa, big bluff red vqa, and Colchester. The wines we tried were decent enough, and we did buy the Reisling VQA. Worth a stop for the views alone!
Dominick Bruno — Google review
We were offered to try the new online ordering system upon entering. The lady didn't explain it at all beyond scanning the barcode and was very rude when I didn't fully understand it immediately. After ordering online, I still had to show and tell the servers what I ordered which took easily twice as long as ordering face-to-face normally and we still had to go to the front to pick up our plastic box of mediocre cheese, crackers and stale bread. It's a lot cheaper than other wineries in the area, but it is really worth paying more for a better experience. Not to mention the view is nice but overrated as the grounds and surrounding area are very barren, really taking away from a nice waterfront space.

Take my review with a grain of salt as the low score might be a one off experience, but my group didnt find any of the wines to be good at all. Perhaps all of our samples were off, but my group of 4 all chose different wines and didnt enjoy any of them.
Beyond the wine, however, the service was good and the views definitely made up for it
Kevin Hua — Google review
Okay, 5 stars? For us, a winery review comes down to 2 questions:
1. What is the team trying to achieve, and 2. How close are they?
Viewpoint exemplifies the "judge them by their own goals" grading philosophy.
They are shooting at four targets, and hitting all four.
1. Produce novel, affordable, easy drinking wines. Their "Old 18A" rosé is the exemplar here, a big dry rosé that laughs "summertime!" whenever you open a bottle.
2. Produce competitive, affordable, mid-level wines. The Cabernet Franc, a stalwart of southern Ontario, punches in right on target here. A big, tasty red with reasonably balanced tannins (oak tannin plus cluster tannin) that can be enjoyed today or cellared for 6 or 8 years with confident development.
3. Library releases to show off cellaring potential. Sure, a winery can suggest holding a vintage for x number of years, but how certain can you be? Library releases put the truth on the table. Viewpoint's recent release of 2012's proves the point: their best vintages are worth waiting for in your cellar.
4. Crowd-pleasing food and entertainment. Ok, here's where I get off the bus. But that's because my tastes run far wide of "popular" food (I'm looking at you, fried-food lovers) and "popular" entertainment (I'm looking at you, Baby Boomers). But look, just because those things aren't my thing doesn't take away from the fact that Viewpoint delivers EXACTLY what they are setting out to achieve: popular food, on the patio, by the lake, with live music the clientele enjoys. How can I downrate that?
Viewpoint offers a full range of quality wines at reasonable prices that you can take home, have delivered, or enjoy on the patio or down by the lake, with views that don't stop. Judging them by THEIR goals? 5 stars. Check them out.
Easy drive from Detroit, London, or Toronto.
Friendly staff.
Comfortable seating indoors and out.
Easy parking.
Groups welcome.
Tours welcome.

Very disappointed, no service at all, nice place but terrible food. No service. What a difference from last time we came a few years ago when there was table service. Plastic glass for wine. Self service. Will never come back. What a waste.
Melida Renkwitz — Google review
One thing that Viewpointe has over all the other wineries is their view - you can't get closer to Lake Erie! I enjoy a sweet wine and although they have a lot of options, none are to my taste. They have a couple varieties of Reisling though which I was happy to see. As many have mentioned before me, I found them to be underserviced and unorganized during my visit. I'll come back for the fries (reasonably priced, large portion, and so good) and maybe a frose!

The museum Greenfield Village is located in Detroit and was founded by Henry Ford. The attractions include buildings from America's history that have been relocated to the open-air museum. The land that the museum occupies is also used for forests, rivers, and pasture for horses and sheep.
Great place to spend the day. Cannot see it all in one day. One downside I would say, the trades area was not as big as I remember. Several smaller villages I know of, the have more trades. If there are multiple people entering or you know your going more than once get a membership.

If you like pioneer villages, well let me tell you, this is the Disney World of pioneer villages! It's so big, we couldn't do it all, will have to return someday. We rode the model t and carousel and train and they were so fun. Almost all the houses were staffed with knowledgeable people to explain stuff and answer questions. We had a frozen custard and it was scrumptious. Loved the crafting demonstrations. All the employees are dressed in period clothing and are so nice. Just a fantastic place. Hope to return someday.

This was a nice piece of the Henry Ford Museum/Theme Park, it is a great place to bring your kids and enjoy a day outside. Teach your kids some great American history, eat ice cream and take them for a ride in a model T. Everyone was so nice and seems like a lot of the staff have a piece of history tied to this place. I would definitely recommend a visit here while in Detroit.
Roddy G — Google review
The coolest museum I’ve ever been to. I love the living history and the array of buildings they have to offer. I wish more artists were at work in the crafts district. But for $40 per person I wish it didn’t cost extra to ride the train. Worth the price? Yes. But wow it’s expensive. Make sure you schedule a full day for this park!
Also it’s hard to find the ticket booth. When you enter the park, go to the building on the left. They should have a sign
The Simple Environmentalist — Google review
Really nice place to spend a day walking around during nice weather. Lots of historical buildings that are reassembled onsite brick by brick. This includes Henry Ford's childhood house, the Wright brothers' workshop, Edgar Alan Poe's house and much more. Also got to ride around in an original working well-maintained Model-T cars with a chauffeur driving around the park, which is almost 100 years old.
Really cool place to check out! The only problem may be finding parking. I'd plan on coming earlier during the day to make sure you get a spot closer to the entrance.

We have visited the village twice now and it is still amazing. Where else can you go and see the home where the Webster American Dictionary was finished, the bike shop where the first airplane was designed and built, and the laboratory where the light bulb was perfected. So much history and American culture in one unique village. Loved it. You can see a full review and video on our blog site. Search for Our Haunted Travels.

We splurged this year for the Christmas meal at the Eagle Tavern. I highly recommend it. It was a delicious seasonal meal with great entertainment. I'm so glad that we purchased our tickets in October. Holiday Noah's was even better than ever. We were able to to enjoy the Village all night due to the mild weather. Of course a trip is not complete without roasted chestnuts and a cup of cocoa.
Kristina Knueppel — Google review
Attended the Christmas event they offered. We stopped by the Mini Donut Truck inside the park. After consuming the mini donuts, I got the worst food poisoning I’ve probably had in my life. I’m assuming the donuts might have been undercooked, as they had a huge line and most likely wanted to get orders out quick. The village had a few Christmas attractions, but it felt like it wasn’t as eventful as the Halloween one per se. Overall, I would give them another chance to see the village but maybe avoid the mini donuts this time.

Absolutely loved it. Total package is a little pricey and food price is pretty ridiculous but we loved it. So much history in one place. Ford purchased and relocated historic homes to those 80 acre lot. Beautiful location with Model T for hire that will give you rides around the town as well as a carousel and a steam train.

This place is a definite must see! I can not recommend it enough for all those history buffs out there. Most of the buildings are staffed with actors who are very knowledgeable about the history of the village and are eager to share their knowledge with you. Don’t forget to buy tickets for rides on a model t, the train, and the carrousel. Be prepared for a lot of walking. Bring strollers and wagons for the littles.

Interesting open-air history museum founded by Henry Ford with houses of famous Americans that were moved to this location. OK, that feels a little off that you take someones history and make it your own. However I really enjoyed this museum and it was really well preserved and museums inside the museums. It is really difficult to have a museum (open-air) with many houses that were actually build there.

A really great museum in the form of an old world village. There is glass blowing, print pressing, blacksmithing, pottery and so many more shops and things to see.
Highly recommended.

Greenfield Village was an amazing experience we went to Greenfield Village but also to the Henry Ford Museum I took my daughter with me who's very much into learning about history and we enjoyed ourselves. All of the exhibits in the museum where really interesting and just seeing the evolution of cars and even the art pieces it was just really a great experience. Even the area that was dealing with black history was super informative I had never seen the actual bus that Rosa Parks was arrested from (and they had that actual bus) great experience for my kids. The Greenfield Village area with people dressed in the clothes that they wore back in during those times was really cool to see the cars that they drove in we rode on the train that was powered by coal... that was a really cool experience. Seeing how certain things were made like the Pottery area or area where they made the pottery and the guide told us about how it was made and what they used to actually decorate the pottery after it's been fired and glazed. Really cool and really good information. We got to see them actually blow glass they showed the actual method in which they used to create glass sculptures and things like that. It was really hot but it was really cool to watch... great experience overall! Definitely want to come back and take nieces and nephews and my other kids with me the next time that I go.

Super cool place with lots to see and do. They're going for a period correct feel and they did a pretty good job.
My only regret is only scheduling one day on our RV trip to visit Greenfield and the Henry Ford Museum. We could have easily spent a day (or more) on each one and not been bored for a second.

Very nice museum and a lot to see. Easy to spend a full day and simply get lost in history.
I had a great day and look forward to come again.

Can't recommend this place enough. World class museum. Outdoor activities at Greenfield Village are educational and enjoyable. It's great to visit during an off time because it's not as busy, but, Saturdays in the summer have much more interaction at the park - historical baseball games, farmers working, musicians playing, etc. I'd recommend checking the calendar of events for more! Kids play area is great.
The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation is a sprawling space dedicated to showcasing American life and ideas. The living history exhibition hall boasts 18 intelligent touch screens and a gigantic assortment of exercises and games, while the historical centre exists in a few sections. The first includes the Museum of American Innovation, which showcases relics from the transport industry that Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat for. The museum is worth the visit for any youngster looking to learn about American history and famous figures from across the spectrum.
All of the staff was amazing! Each one spoke to you every time, acknowledged you when you entered, said bye when you left, always asked if you needed any assistance or had any questions. So so helpful and I'm so very appreciative, they were all wonderful! My son and I can't wait to go again! So many gift shops lol. Need at least 2+ hours to see it all, but it's worth it. So much history, some areas are like stepping back in time, it's so cool.

Absolutely incredible and exquisite exhibits. Everything is laid out so well you can easily travel from one section to the next, with a smooth transition in-between.
The cases are spaciously laid out as to not be overwhelming. This creates a good flowing atmosphere that keeps you moving and staring at the next item.
There's a nice cafeteria that you can eat at, but hold on to your tickets. You'll need them to get back into the museum.
The attendants are wonderful. The place is neat, tidy, and just fun. Definitely take your kids here, your wife, everyone will have something to look at here!

My family loved this walk through history. So much more than cars! We spent hours here and could have spent so much more. A must see if you ever make it to the Detroit area. Went on a Wednesday. It wasn’t overly crowded and we were able to enjoy it without feeling hampered by too many people.

This is a great place to visit! There is so much to do and see one day is certainly not enough.
If you are in the area I would certainly recommend stopping by. If you want to see it all without any rush I would recommend at least 1.5 days (assuming you take one full day). Make sure to look into the membership if visiting more than one day!
The museum is mostly wheelchair accessible and they also rent wheelchairs if needed.

The Henry Ford museum is definitely my favourite museum in Detroit. It displays a lot of history from the very beginning of motoring up to the present time. My favourite displays would be the United States presidents cars. Followed closely by the 1941 Allegheny Locomotive one of the largest steam powered Locomotives ever built. Very interesting to see also Henry Ford's kitchen bench engine, that's how it all started. There is so much to see in this museum not just cars. You can spend a whole day here enjoying yourself. I highly recommend a visit to this museum.

My visit to the museum was a great experience. The highlight for me was the impressive selection of cars, including those used by presidents. The exhibit showcased a diverse range of vehicles, adding a unique and fascinating dimension to the visit. The overall atmosphere and variety made it a memorable exploration into history culture.

I’ll definitely recommend to visit this museum in Detroit. It’s so huge and you can find here a lot of different things. History of United States. Progress of different directions such as railways, cars, planes, different manual productions. They also recommend factory tour and if you get museum and factory you’ll get discount. We didn’t have enough time and went through museum only. We got tickets in the spot and were not actually even planning to go there and it was Friday so I believe you can have tickets at the door any time. Enjoy and bring your kids there are a lot of interactive elements.

So much to do, so much to see. I spent about 3 hours here and still could go for many more.
It's not just about Ford history itself but about the broader history of the world.
A great variety of cars on display and other exhibits are worth the time and money to spend on it.
I also took a short 30 minute free tour and it was great.

This was perhaps the best place that I've visited in a long time!! It was like a kid let loose in a candy shop. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The history behind every piece in that museum is insane, the lady at the front greeting once we entered the actual part of the museum was really really good. She gave a brief on what to expect and where. This place will take a full day to tour if you want to look and read everything. Maybe two. I would definitely visit this place again. Definitely recommended for every single age.

Incredible the history of Ford! It's a huge museum with lots to see. We didn't see everything as I think it would take a few days.
The old locomotives were a highlight for me, as well as the cars. The presidential cars was very cool to see.
I'm not a huge fan of racing but I have to admit it was very interesting yo learn about racers as athletes and seeing some powerful racing cars over the years.
Another highlight was the mathematics, airplanes, and furnishings. The doll houses were incredibly beautiful and detailed.
The Walt Disney costumes were also very cool to see up close. If you love fabric and costumes, I highly recommend to see the exhibit. It is only for a short while though.
The food was good, some variety of sandwiches, snack food and entree meal. The ladies who work there were wonderful, very funny, and very helpful. I really enjoyed the experience and hope to go back to see what I missed!

You can easily spend the whole day here if you’re into museums. There are two nice cafes inside so you can take a break if you want. The exhibits are well maintained, but the entry fee was expensive compared to other places similar to this museum.
If you want a tour of the factory, you will need to go there on a working day.

Not a car museum, but there are cars. This is an American History museum primarily... more Smithsonian-like. I have to say it's one of the best museums I've ever visited. It really is amazing what our forefathers were able to accomplish to build America. Highly recommended. Kid friendly!

Visitor from the UK wowed by this magnificent mueseum. Great variety of exhibits, but one of my favourite sections was the history of cars of all type . There was food and drink available at a couple of locations within the museum. Staff were very helpful, and all I all a memorable day buy, I will have to come back one day to catch up on anything I may have missed . Enjoy..

I shared a couple pictures of my highlights of this trip. It's a pretty nice place to visit. They are lacking some restaurants or places to get some real food. I visited here about 50 years ago when I was a kid and we went to a nice Italian restaurant and had spaghetti dinner. That appears to be missing in the museum now. Their displays are awesome with a lot of history of our area and Past Times. I recommend it!

This was a really awesome place to spend the day with the family. We loved looking around at all the cars, planes, and machinery this place has on display. So much to see and do while being here; especially when you get to the race cars. We all had so much fun; kids and adults alike.
I recommend buying your tickets online in advance. It was quite easy to do and saved us time once we arrived at the museum.
We will need to come back to see the rest of the things we didn't get to spend as much time with.

Kids had fun! We ran into a volunteer who was on break but very cheerful and conversational. It was cool to see the museum sections.... we were there for about 3 hours and only saw 2/3s of the exhibits (at kid speed). You could spend multiple days here. We got a tip to bring lunch, so didn't eat at any of the places there. Kids favorite things were the pit stop crew hands on activity, going inside the locomotive, and seeing the barnstormer planes. Adults found the JFK limo more significant than the littles.
Betsy Finn — Google review
So much to see in the museum. It will take you half a day to read through everything and walk through all the exhibit. Even a quick walk through needs about 3 hours.
You learn so much on automotive, manufacturing, American history and culture, aerospace and Glass !
Love all the massive locomotive engines and massive power generator. They are just massive and beautiful. Train museum is usually outside but it was nice that Henry Ford manage to put these massive engines indoor
It is a must go stop if you are in town

An excellent museum with interesting exhibits for everyone. Far from "just a car museum," it has exhibits focused on aviation, the industrial revolution, the civil rights movement, trains, and lots more.
My only regret is that we only scheduled one day to visit the museum and the Greenfield Village, whereas two days would have been the minimum in retrospect.
Zac Clark — Google review
Beautiful time had by all. Incredible collection allowing a walk through history. The staff had interesting information and stories to share about the period and life of those during that time. We have a membership. I would suggest a day for Henry Ford Museum and a day for Greenfield Village if you're not from this area. After that, you can choose if you need additional visits.
David Torok — Google review
This is certainly the go-to museum in Detroit. It showcases American innovations and progress over the century, not just car-focused. You could spend at least 2 hours in the museum alone. There’s a rotating exhibit space that brings new things in to keep it fresh for returning visitors.
There’s plenty to see and do, with sections on agriculture, furniture and housing, car racing, automobile production, aviation, locomotives, and more.
The village portion of the grounds can add about 5 hours to your visit so come prepared!

☆○°•The place was very amazing, I was walking in, not expecting much of it, but as I entered, I saw a lot of Presidents cars and the thought of them actually being in there was very cool! There was also a really cute miniature car set displayed, and a place where you could play a car simulator! It was a very pleasant experience :> Next time I visit MI, I will visit the factory too!○☆•°

Spectacular! You need a full day to enjoy and bring your jacket after Oct 31st!! The train usually closes at the end of October, but the Model T drive around the village is worth the money. They also have a bus, that's a great way to hear about the village. They have a horse-drawn carriage as well!!
The factory tour is fantastic, with limited photography options, but it is well worth it.
The museum is vast, and if you live here, that year pass is the way to go! Visitors take advantage of the different passes according to ride availability. You almost can't get through the museum and village unless you plan for the whole day!! A must-see for sure!

You could literally spend days here. It’s so unique and one of a kind. I came here every weekend as a kid in the 80s and it’s fascinating to see what is still here and what has changed.
Even if you could care less about cars or trains or planes this place positions them in a way that integrates them into the progression of life in America and the impact that cars (good and bad) and the social and historical context surrounding that impact.
I took my teenagers and thought they would be begging to leave but I had to drag them out at closing time.
Just go.

This was the first time my 4 year old son was at the Ford Museum. He loves anything trains and they have the biggest ones in the world. Not my words but my sons. We also went because there was a Paw Patrol exhibit that he is very into at the moment. He had a great time exploring the activities within the area. I would say he enjoyed the time, but some of the stuff he was too young to know why it was there or the history about it.

Went to The Henry Ford Museum with my girlfriend recently. This museum is awesome! We walked through the displays for hours and enjoyed traveling back in time to see history in person. It was a fascinating visit and the exhibits are user friendly and interactive in many cases. We want to come back again and also visit Greenfield Village when it opens up in the spring! Many thanks to everyone working at The Henry Ford Museum!

Did not expect an all round museum here! I thought it was a Ford cars showcase but here is a full innovative museum containing not just fancy cars but the history and evolution of automobile! The presidential cars is surely a highlight here, but there are more to explore! Price is 30 dollars per adult and 9 for parking. Be aware the google navigation is not the most accurate location for the ticket office and entrance. Go straight to the clock tower!

What a great museum. This is my second visit. I was able to bring my wife this trip (she’s a huge history buff). This museum has something for everyone. I’m a pilot and I collect cars so I’m obviously attracted to the car and airplane collection! Only downside was the village being closed. Guess we need to make another trip!

Love the museum, have been a member for years! I particularly love the new racing exhibit with the racing simulators! Today we were there looking at it as a possible wedding venue, and I have to say the staff is absolutely top notch. Easy to work with, prompt with excellent follow up! The materials on there own were a little confusing but when they laid them out it was very easy to understand/ budget. Lovett hall was absolutely breathtaking, and is currently at the top of our list!

The wife and I had an great time during our time in the museum. A very massive museum. It would take someone at least three days if you stopped to read every placqured that would be there on every piece of equipment. Really enjoyed the history era about everyday life and the items that was used from the 1900' to 2020. The era took me back to my days of being a kid and re-visiting that era of 1980. Again its a very informative museum.

February 2024 - came here with family and friends. We had a good time with the paw patrol exhibit. A lot to see here and listen to. They have some new things since we have last visited. Race car game and they updated that area with some other things to do. Kids loved the automobile section. They added a plume market and a restaurant inside. You can buy wine from what I heard from two mom's. They have a nice gift shop and a lot of neat things to see.

The new playground is spectacular! Too bad these playgrounds weren't around in the 90's ..

My go too for camping. It's so clean and nice. But, when I went on one holiday, there was dog poop all over. I had to get it up. I called and complained about it and they were very apologetic and compensated me for it. I was also out there on another holiday weekend and let me tell you. There was a group of ghetto people who stayed up all night. Kids running wild, all through our campgrounds, talking and laughing loudly. No parent supervision. Running in and out of the bathrooms. Boys in the girls restrooms. There needs to be security out enforcing the quiet time from 10-7 a few times a night. It was ridiculous. But, besides that, this is my favorite place to camp. Love the fact that they have the fire pits and picnic tables for you to enjoy too.

Lake Erie's only state park offers 1 mile of lakeshore with campsites plus wildlife walks & hiking.
Don't let the smoke stacks cloud your judgment of this park. It has so much to offer!
Miles of scenic trails for birdwatching, running, walking and biking. The trails I hear will be getting some much needed work to ensure a safe and smooth trek.
There are many fishing piers and access points to kayak the waters in and around the park.
For Boat Nerds, you can watch great lake freighters out on the horizon. If you're lucky, you may see them pulling into the River Raisin just south of the park.
The sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous and beautiful and the pops of color are amazing.
If I have on complaint, it's the human factor on the Beach. Please don't litter. There are many garbage receptacles. We can do better.

We stayed here in our skoolie for two weeks and it's been one of our best stays to date! First off, the beach!! You're so close and there's a private area just for the campground which was never busy and was close enough that the kids could just walk over there whenever they wanted.
There's also a trail that was really nice. Clean bathrooms and showers. Can't wait to go back here

This state campground has some full hook up sites. Campground is clean and the camp host was receptive when we told here there was standing water by our water spigot possibly indicating a leak. It’s nice to be able to explore the beach on Lake Erie but wear your shoes as there are dead fish, shells, branches, and garbage. There is a paved, 4 mile trail which circles some lagoons.

The park is spacious, plenty of area to explore. Large parking area. Plenty of bathrooms. Pavilions with picnic tables and grill areas. Large beach front, great for swimming and a peir I saw people fishing off of although it's a bit rocky on that end, much more rugged, not for small kids.

I don't know what these negative reviews are talking about! This beach is one of the nicest public beaches on Lake Erie in this area. The beach was trash free and looked like they has just raked the sand. It does have some trees a long the north end of the beach that hAve exposed roots. Just watch were you step and you will be fine. The exposed roots are neat to see. You can get around them and enjoy the beach. The south end of the beAch area however is all sand. When we were there it didn't smell of rotting fish and we didn't see any either. We loved this beach. The camping area did look nice as well and they have several cabins for rent.

Easy sites to back in. Not much shade in much of the park, but ground cover helps to keep the sites private. Left 4 stars because other people just lack respect. On our last evening, we had a group set up in the site next to us with 4 vehicles who then had the audacity to set up a tent on our site. Not totally the parks fault, but rangers should have addressed the problem. However, they just drove on by.. (maybe because they didn't want to have an altercation)
National park preserving the historical site of pivotal battles during the War of 1812.
River Raisin is for those who love history. This is the site of the worst American defeat in the War of 1812, and of the bloodiest battle in Michigan's history. There is a new visitor center just west of the battlefield with new exhibits being built. If you live in southeastern Michigan and you have kids, this would be a great place to take them to get to know the National Park Service. The visitor center has passport books, patches, books about national parks, nature guides, and everything else needed to generate a child's enthusiasm for our nation's protected lands.

The park facility is relatively new and quite impressive. There is a very well done 25 minute movie on the earlier events and battles at River Raisin. There are several displays at the Visitor center, huge diorama of Frenchtown , and a gift shop. There are paths outside to tour the battlefield with historical markers. Overall gained a great understanding and appreciation of what happened here and overall northwest frontier. Need to mention that the ranger at the Visitors Center - Tony - was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable.

One of the newest parks in the Park Service. They are working hard to create a state of the art facility. When the educational center is up and running it will be a fantastic field trip for schools and other groups looking for a hands on experience.

In my quest to visit all the National Parks (historic sites, battlefields, trails, and more) I happened upon River Raisin on a quite rainy and chilly afternoon. While being the only visitor when I arrived, the park staff were very helpful and willing to ensure my experience was a great one. They cued up a video (another group wandered in by this time) to cover the history.
Afterward, I still felt like exploring the area, despite the rain, and I was given a few paper maps that I supplemented with the free NPS app (which I highly recommend you download). This pointed me towards some cool historic sites also maintained by the NPS and offered me a glimpse into the past of the historical events that took place in this area.

The park stretches out along the Raisin River. They have an older closed visitor center and a new one not far away. Great place to reflect and relax. Some picnic tables and some really nice benches to rest on

We were really impressed by the set up. Very informative, they were just setting up the new exhibit when we were there, but it was really nice so far, so many interactive things for all ages, my 20 year old son just loved it. The people there were great too, answering questions and explaining displays. Nice gift shop with reasonable prices, a few snacks and drinks too...and a squished penny machine!! I collect, so super excited about that. Clean bathrooms. We happened to go when they were having demonstrations outside with people dressed in period clothes and very friendly and informative. They had axe throwing, my son did much better than myself. All free too! Large parking lot. easy to find right off the highway. Our family had a great time and will definitely be back for the reenactments and to walk the battlefield, I understand there is a marked trail with information plaques but we didn't get a chance to check that out yet.

Nice museum at the visiter center with film. A lot of plaques describing a battle of the war of 1812. Describes a massacre of the Indians libing in the area.
John Veazey — Google review
Wasn't sure what to expect. Knew a little about the battle and War of 1812 before we went but learned a lot while there. This battle played a large role in the war and the United States native American policies for years to come. It's extremely interesting. The free movie explains the battle and its aftermath. I say free because you used to have to pay, but now it is being funded by the Oklahoma Wyandotte. Museum is well put together with many interactive displays and many more to come. Definately worth a visit. Besides the museum, you can also walk the grounds where the battle toook place and read several markers explains what happened. Will go back, hopefully, in January or February when the reenactment takes place.

They've done an amazing job with this place - I haven't been in a LONG time, not since a school field trip maybe 20 years ago. The new visitor center is stunning and the movie that they show about the history of the site and the area is INCREDIBLE. The staff were all super friendly and fun to talk to.

This is a small but interesting stop on the NPS book. They have clean restrooms and are even dog friendly.
Not far off the interstate so I would definitely recommend if you are in the area.
The University of Michigan is a large public school renowned for its research, medical programs, and football team. Located in downtown Ann Arbor, the campus boasts impressive academic buildings and offers a plethora of extracurricular activities. Despite its size, students have the opportunity to stand out if they make an effort to do so. The university provides countless opportunities for professional success but may pose challenges in finding time to study due to the abundance of activities available.

My daughter graduated from Michigan as a triple major and then got her Masters in Management from Ross. She also played in the famous Michigan Marching Band. When she graduated she was offered jobs on Wall Street, as a book editor, as an advertising executive and at Google. There are not many universities in the world that could have offered her the excellent and varied education she got from Michigan. On top of that the Saturdays in the largest stadium in the country listening to the greatest fight song ever written is a thrill no other university can offer. Go Blue!

A world renowned university and medical system on a beautiful campus that is always clean and well maintained. The campus both the university and medical campus are situated in areas where petty crime can be an issue so always be vigilant but the university has extensive campus security and campus police on patrol. U of M is right in the middle of downtown Ann Arbor and so it is extremely pleasant to walk around on campus. The academic buildings are extremely nice as well, inside and out. It is a very large school so the student generally remains fairly anonymous (but if they make an effort, they can stand out) so they remain distant from the professors. The University also has tons of extracurricular activities of all kinds -- which is awesome, but does make it difficult to find time to study. Overall, it's a great place to be and offers so many opportunities, it can be an amazing incubator for professional success.

My son and I went for Saturday Morning Physics, where the discussion was about the ISS, with Q & A with NASA Astronaut Josh Cassada & Professor John Foster. Very interesting and enjoyable.
Afterwards we visited UM Natural History Museum, on Campus, this rivaled any museum we have visited in the past.

Update: the professor I had been in touch with, professor Lohmann, seems to be as unprofessional as the rest of the faculty I had the misfortune of dealing with. We had a fine zoom meeting where we discussed the program I was interested in and he’s the one that had me reach out to someone of Jennifer Alexander’s job title for further assistance as well. Lohmann was supposed to get back to me the following week and I have not heard back since. Take your money, yearning for education, and search for good mentorship somewhere else. You will not find anything of value at this institution.
Awful staff, such as Rose Cory and Jennifer Alexander. I’ve tried to go about seeking help with admissions and the only help I’ve received is from an actual professor. Rose Cory works in admissions and completely blew off our zoom meeting, later contacting saying another meeting went late but couldn’t even have the courtesy to send me a message prior to our meeting letting me know she wouldn’t be there. Jennifer Alexander is just pathetic and doesn’t do the job she’s listed to do on the schools website. I doubt I will continue to give this institution any more thought for enrollment. Absolute trash faculty.

BEAUTIFUL campus. I love every second here! So many amazing activities and extra curricular activities to get involved in over 2000! The professors are fantastic here too you can EASILY tell everyone has well over 10+ years of upper level experience. The students here… INSANELY nice as an introvert I can walk up to anyone and they’re super friendly and helpful. Biggest alumni group. HUGE school spirit even on the streets people all rep UofM. It’s a whole new loving world here. Night life is everywhere with good to high end restaurants. The roads are all proper especially for Michigan weather. Alumni donates heavily to this school. The city works with UofM to help them expand.. it’s like the whole area is family it’s incredible!
I legitimately can’t say a single negative and I am a commuter except I just wish I could drive less haha. So many parking structures lol it’s only a few minute walk. The M bus is accurate too.
Put it like this… if you get accepted to The University of Michigan.. after doing research and or visiting campus you will be going to The University of Michigan.
10/10 this is coming from someone who’s attended multiple universities including the Dearborn campus. NOTHING touches this University.

My experience as a student at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor has been nothing short of amazing! The campus is not only stunning but also buzzing with energy. The professors are world-class, and the wide range of academic programs ensures there's something for everyone. The resources available, from the libraries to research opportunities, are unparalleled. What truly stands out, though, is the sense of community and school spirit. Whether it's cheering for the Wolverines at the Big House or collaborating with fellow students on projects, being part of UMich is an unforgettable journey. I'm proud to call myself a Michigan student, and it's a definite five-star institution!

Public school? Hardly. You don't get kicked out of public schools for not paying. No, it's a publicly funded PRIVATE school. What's a word related to "private" kids? That's right. It's PRIVILEGE.
The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is a vibrant, 4-story location that offers over 250 science-focused exhibits for children to play and learn. It is an ideal destination for kids of all ages and their parents. While some visitors have noted that it can get quite crowded during peak times (especially in light of current COVID-19 concerns), the museum features a wide range of engaging activities suitable for kids with various interests and heights.
Great place for kids of all ages (and their parents). We went over holiday break so it got a little too busy for our comfort (in the time of covid) but right around opening it was nice. Many activities for kids of all heights and interests. Our kids were sad to leave! Appreciated that everyone was wearing masks, but some parents could try to remind their kids to distance (especially for our under 5 crew). Also, I’d suggest the museum add many more sanitizing stations. There definitely were not enough for how much touching is happening. Thanks for the great time!

We visited on a Tuesday at 11am and upon walking in, we were a little put off at how busy it was. There were so many field trips and any time my son would get a chance to play with something other kids would come and try to take over. It was very off putting. We decided to leave and get lunch and came back around 1. By this time the majority of the field trips kid had left and the place died down drastically. We actually got to enjoy the exhibits and learn while we played.
I would recommend waiting until 1 on weekdays if you have younger kids. They have an eating area with limited vending, no real food.
Overall it was a nice museum with friendly staff.

It was our first time here and our 18 month old absolutely loved it, I don't think she knew what to do with herself, which made us love it. She absolutely loved the water tables in the preschool gallery and everything in it. Which also has an infant area. She was so overjoyed by each floor, she ran through everything. I was expecting it to be a bit bigger but there was still so much to do, we had a great time. And if you've never been there, to get to floors 3&4 it's by the eating/vending machine area which is by the room with the ambulance. 🚑 enjoy yourself, we did!

Nice exhibits for children of all ages. Although kids of ages 5-6+ will enjoy the most. Ticket prices are okay, online and counter purchases are available. Parking is a bit hard around the area, though lot many public parking spaces are available. Didn’t happen to be much crowded given the long weekend.

In the heart of an already lively city, this fun, educating museum is so great. Multiple floors of so many great inventions, technology , history and so much more. Hands on stimulating exhibits that are not only teaching the kids, and the adults too lol but making it fun in the process. Its kind of tucked away there on ann street, and parking can sometimes be annoying but its all worthwhile for the kiddos. Put the phones and the tablets down and get a membership their going to want to come back for sure!

Awesome place. There are activities for all ages. I have a kid of 5 years old and 1 year old and both enjoy this museum. I bought the family membership, I am planning to come often.
A good advice, Need to bring more clothes because there are water activities and are really fun.
The first 2 stories are the most interesting. The 3rd and 4th are small.

This is a cool museum! My 9 and 11 year old kids really liked it. There were tons of things to do. It is harder to find parking and I believe it is all paid parking. The reason I rated it 4/5 stars is that it is dirty. It is really dusty and you can tell surfaces are not wiped down. Especially high touch surfaces- it’s a little gross. I’m sure during the pandemic it was better but cleanliness is definitely lacking at this point. Kids and adults are $16 to enter. Visited on the Saturday after thanksgiving and I thought it would be crazy but it really wasn’t too crowded.

We have the family plus membership and we're using it a lot! It's nice to be able to bring guests with us. My kids, 4 and 1, both love the museum. Our top 3 favorites are the H2O, pre school area, and the ambulance. We avoided coming during special events such as winter break activities due to overcrowded visitors. We always try to come at 10, right when it opens, or later at 3pm, so it's quieter. That way the kids can explore more freely, and minimum to none waiting time.

This museum explores the history of the five Great Lakes and features a retired ore freighter. It is located on the east bank of the Maumee River in downtown Toledo.
This is a excellent museum with great information and displays. For someone visiting the Great Lakes for the first time, this was a great primer and perfect for a few hours. The models of historical ships, boiler steam propulsion and Coast Guard history were all highlights.

We had to rush through the museum, as we cam late in the day, but it was pretty cool. Definitely worth a trip back. They are updating a park next to the museum, so summer '23 should be a great time to visit. Then goto Maumee Bay brewery for lunch 😁

I’ve lived in Ohio my entire life and I knew very little about our Great Lakes! What a fabulous museum! The history and displays and everything about this place is incredible! We didn’t plan properly and couldn’t go on the freighter or tug boat, so that just gives us just cause to go back!!! Definitely worth the reasonable ticket price! Fun little souvenir area as well. Very clean museum, lots of parking, bathrooms very well maintained and the grounds are very well kept! Fun for all ages!!

Didn't think this would be interesting, but went with a friend who wanted to go. Jack, the volunteer who showed us around the freighter, made the trip extremely informative. He had worked on the tug boat that is also on display, and had an infinite number of personal and anecdotal stories about the freighter, tug boat, and Great Lakes shipping history. Worth calling ahead to see which day he is volunteering!

Great find on a road trip. The ship was very cool to visit with my kids (4, 6, 9); however was quite nerve wracking with the 4 year old ensuring he didn’t fall through railings on top or on the steep stairs. There is a self guided tour app that was too slow for going with kids but we enjoyed the signs along the way. The ship itself took us about 45 minutes so we didn’t have time to do the tug boat because new tours stop an hour before closing and we started the ship at 3:45. There is also a lot to look at in the museum. And hour and a half wasn’t enough time!

The museum is full of interesting facts about all the Great Lake. Artifacts and story boards of numerous ships and shipwrecks are a look back in time. We liked the interactive displays, which included controlling a video drive on the Edmond Fitzgerald. It takes an hour or two to checkout all the displays. The outdoor ship tours are seasonal. We visited in December but will plan a return trip to check out the freighter.

Really neat place! This is something in my own hometown that I had never experienced before. Such a unique spot to be taken. The museum had lots of interesting bits of history and getting to go on the actual boats was so awesome. Probably not a place for huge parties or small kids because it’s a lot of historical things and small areas inside. The stairs are also a little bit difficult to maneuver but seeing how old everything is I definitely understand why. Everyone should visit here at least once in their life.

I enjoyed it. The stories this museum presents are fascinating and special history to the local area. I love that they support and exist to restore the great lakes and tell our areas history from Indian and native tribes to colonial days up to modern history. It's wild how deadly the great lakes were and i never heard of all the crashed boats until this museum. Touring the boats they have on site is also neat. My cons are I wish it was much bigger (I think they're expanding a little) and the gift shop wasn't so expensive.

Wonderful museum! The highlight being the freighter docked alongside that is included with museum admission. Such a treat to wander all over the ship! The best experience was encountering former ship pilots who offered personal stories and insights on what it was like to work on these Great Lakes freighters!

We visited this museum for the second time and it was just as good as the first. Good amount of history about the great lakes. Lots of nice artifacts to look at. There are 2 ships that you can tour docked along the Maumee River next to the museum. A freighter and a tug. Both are interesting. Staff was very friendly and the facility was clean. The Big House, the historic 110,000-seat football stadium at the University of Michigan, hosted a free Spring scrimmage event that was enjoyable and recommendable. The game was entertaining, and some penalties and calls by referees made it even more amusing. Children were allowed to meet players, get autographs and step onto the field. The stadium is an impressive piece of real estate with a rich history that can be appreciated even by non-Michigan fans. Highly recommended for all visitors!

Really I have nothing bad to say even walking to the stadium it’s really cool seeing the other wolverines walking and basically taking over the road lol.

A football game at the big house is an experience like no other. The atmosphere is unmatched. This is the largest stadium in North America and the third largest stadium in the entire world, so expect packed games because they almost always have sell outs. Crowds of over 100k are common place here.

Well it was our first game at the big house. It wasn't as bad as we were told. There are washrooms everywhere...
The seating is very uncomfortable. I suppose it would be if you were 5 foot tall. I'm 6'2".. I had no where to put my knees but into the back of the guy in front of me. Though I suppose it was ok as the guy behind me had his knees firmly pressed into my spine. The stadium holds 109000 though I'm betting if they changed that to 70000 you would have had more comfort. The atmosphere was amazing. Other then feeling like a sardine the whole time... it was a once in a lifetime experience.

Best stadium of any sport at any level. This stadium was meant for football. Awesome environment and the efficiency with which it handles 115,000 fans (parking, traffic, people movement, food, bathrooms, concessions, support staff, safety) is superior to any stadium - pro or college - by a long shot. The atmosphere and facilities are first rate. The fans are great. The football spirit is great. Not a bad seat in the stadium. The only criticism is that it's too crowded - well no duh, how else do you fit 115,000 fans? As a Chicagoan who travels to many different sport venues, U of M stadium is so much better than any pro-sport venue, its not even close.

Just saw the maize and blues 2022 spring scrimmage with the kids. It was a free event and I can't say how much I would recommend it. The kids got to go down onto the field and meet the players and have signatures! Definitely a highlight of their spring break!

Great place to see a game, "The Game"! The Big House holds a lot of fans and the energy is out of sight! There are plenty of food choices and the bathrooms downstairs are huge! If you don't mind a little walk, you can get out of town fairly easily. Awesome experience!

Holy Moly, this stadium is large. My bucket list was fulfilled by purchasing, flying to Michigan, and watching the Wolverines host the Buckeyes and seeing who remains undefeated between two unbeaten and powerhouse teams. I have to say, I was overwhelmed with the crowd capacity, the energetic vibe despite very cold temperatures, and the overall collegiate Big Ten Football experience. I don’t know which is better, a very hyped college game or a dynamic NFL match-up game. I highly encourage true collegiate football fanatics to come experience the vibe here at the Big House when your team comes to play here, it’s unlike any other college stadium and football atmosphere.

We had so much fun at this game! They really make these games a full experience, it was really nice - once in a lifetime type of feel. We came to a college tour and I initially got scammed on tickets (my fault). During the tour I met some other parents/alumni and they blessed us with tickets they couldn't use. If you wanna come I highly recommend planning way in advance but it was such an amazing time. Getting in was easy and fast despite so many people (100K!). You can't bring bags in, but if you forget (like me) they also have a fast and easy bag check. I was impressed how they accommodated so many people. Even for bathrooms and concessions we never waited more than 1 minute in a line. Also it's extremely accessible for those in wheelchairs. 10/10 highly recommend, if you have an opportunity to go you won't regret it!

An absolute powerhouse of an experience! The sheer magnitude of this iconic stadium is awe-inspiring. I had the incredible fortune to witness many games here, and it was nothing short of electrifying. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and passion from the devoted fans. And to top it off, witnessing 'The Game' victory here was an experience I'll cherish forever (3 times in a row!). The energy was crazy, the cheers echoing through the stadium were spine-tingling, and the shared love for maize and blue among fellow supporters was awesome. The stadium's layout ensured an excellent view from wherever I was seated, and the facilities were top-notch. This stadium embodies the spirit of college football and leaves an indelible mark on anyone lucky enough to be a part of the action. A must-visit for any sports enthusiast or Michigan fan! Go Blue

It's a nightmare trying to get through the crowd so "quick" trips to the bathroom or concessions can be daunting.
Worth noting - Invest in a seat cushion. I'll be getting one with a back rest because it can become uncomfortable sitting on the bleachers after a while.
The Imagination Station is a hands-on, educational children's science museum with permanent exhibits that offers programs and summer camps. It is located in the center of Toledo and contains over 300 interactive exhibits on a range of topics including agriculture, engineering, solar energy, sound waves, weather systems. A popular attraction for locals and tourists alike, it is one of the most acclaimed museums in the city.
We had so much fun when we took our kids and nephew to Imagination Station. I am so pleased that they have the option to purchase a membership because that is exactly what we are going to do. They even had a quiet room in the children’a area if anyone was overstimulated and needed a break. There is food, beverages, a gift shop, indoor & outdoor activities so much to do indoors and even a beautiful view from the inside out. Fun for all ages! :)

The former COSI, with a new name, same great experience.
Super fun experience. Lots of exhibits. Clean. Staff is friendly. Parking is easy on the street and the garage across the street. Not overly crowded on a Sunday.
Only improvements I’d suggest: military vet discounts and some attention to restroom cleanliness.
Great way to spend a day. The fun exhibits could easily occupy kids 2-teen for 3-5 hours. The motion simulator is a nice addition. Don’t skip the outdoor sound exhibits.

Lots of fun and science stuff to do with the kids. Can easily spend 3-4 hours depending on the experiences you want to cover. Wasn’t crowded even though we visited on a weekend. Tickets can be purchased at front desk. Parking is a challenge as they don’t have it on spot, though lot many parking structures are open nearby.

So fun for kids tiddler to elementary school! The toddler area is fantastic and all the exhibits are educational and fun! Keeps their minds working without them even knowing! And I highly recommend the 3D theater. So cool and with 20 minute run times, even little ones don't get to antsy!

I went here for the sole purpose of my niece having a good time. I think I might have had more fun than she did.
🤣 Seriously, it was a great experience.
We went on a Saturday, so it was a little more crowded than normal. But, on the bright side of that, Saturdays are the cheaper days to go for Lucas county residents. I also suggest that you park in the parking garage. It's decently priced.
There's a lot of things to see and do both inside and outside. I could go on and on but I'm sure you get the gist.

It was fun for the kids and for us we paid $ 54 for myself and my husband and boys 6 and 8!! My daughter was free. It would have been way better if most things weren’t broken. We did have a nice time I just don’t know if we would ever get a membership. My kids loved it.

We had a great time with a dozen of our Girl Scouts. I do suggest calling ahead for a big group. There were some large group "protocols" we weren't aware of until we got there. Also purchase your "Simulator Ride" tokens on your way in the entry desk DON'T WAIT until the ride!

It was my first time visiting with my son. He is 8 years old and loved it. There was more than enough things to keep him entertained the entire day. I wasn't sure if it was meant for younger kids only. The admission prices were pretty reasonable, and they did offer a military discount, which really helped me out. It's worth it to get the whole package with the movie included. My son had never seen anything in 3D before so he loved the 3D dinosaurs. They had very friendly staff all around to guide and interact with the kids. There is a little cafe in there in case you get hungry and need a break. The only disappointment was that we never got to check out the simulator because the line was Neverending during the time we were waiting. But overall, I would definitely take my son back next time I'm in the area.

Fun place, worth the 1 hour drive.
The new dinosuar exhibit is fun, and the "regular" displays are great as always. The little kid area is fun, but watch out or they'll get wet quickly. My kids all love the illusions area and the demonstrations.

I bought a membership because this is a great place to bring kids. It's not only educational it's fun!!! Exploring having fun and learning at the same time is a win-win! Kids learn hands on. They can touch and explore everything.

I haven’t visited this place in many years. There were a lot of cool stations that engage the kiddos in learning about the world around them ans how things work. My only recommendation would be to pack some snacks. The food choices were slim. Not sure if the pandemic and supply shortages is to blame for that or not?

Great time with my granddaughters, age 8 and 10. They loved the entire visit and learned many new things today. Great summer "field trip". They didn't think they would enjoy themselves there at all. We spent 3.5 hours there learning and having fun!

This place was incredible. My 4 year old and 2 year old had a blast! They had things to keep both of them busy. They have a toddler area where they can play hospital, grocery store, and firetruck. They have a huge water table to play in and a spot for babies to sit and play in the water. I was blown away at everything they had to offer. Plenty of room to sit and eat. We packed lunches but they had food to purchase as well.

Worth the short drive from NE Indiana. The kids had tons of fun, perfect spot for a day trip. There were some non-functional exhibits, but not enough to spoil the visit. We used our ASTC Travel Passport for entry so it was free. Would visit again for sure.

So much fun for everyone. Staff is insanely nice. The entire place was very clean, even the bathrooms. Snacks and drinks are on the expensive side. We went on a weekday. It was busy but not crowded. My son was able to have access to all the attractions. The whole family had fun.

When I tell my kids we are going to the imagination station, I may as well have told them we're celebrating Christmas early. Their favorite attraction in the museum is the sideways house, and as toddlers they could have spent the entire visit in the Kids Zone. My only complaint is that there seems to be a field trip visiting every time we come and the place is packed with kids and it makes it a little harder to enjoy yourself.

Great place to spend a few hours with the kids. Lots of hands on learning stations. Really enjoyed the Dinosour exibit. Well spread out and multiple of sections to go to. Parking near by. Wish the cafeteria had more options to eat but not to bad.

I am a 19 year old and I went with my friends who are all over 18 and it was super fun and interesting. We spent about 4 hours here. This museum is honestly one of the most fun I've been to. It's good for little kids (they have a toddler/baby section), kids, and adults. The movies are also quite good.
Depressed_Plants — Google review
We come here about once a month. The kids love it. As far as educating my five year olds, I'd say it's mild. The live shows are the best for that and those are fantastic. But for providing reasonably priced play that is certainly positive and MAY be educational, it's the best.
As a hint, Lucas County residents get in free on Saturdays.

We love this Toledo attraction! A fun way to spend a day or treat your family to a season pass for an outing option. I love that there is something for all ages, babies on up! We like to get food somewhere downtown before or after and on the nice days go walk the river front. Street parking is awesome when you can find it, if not using the garage. Make sure to make time for the plane simulator.
The Toledo Museum of Art is an art museum located in the historic Old West End district of central Toledo, Ohio. The museum's collection features a wide range of art from classical to contemporary, and includes works by some of history's most well-known painters. The Glass Pavilion is one of the most popular attractions at the museum, and its curved glass walls are simply stunning.
It was a bigger museum than I expected and curated well. The inside layout is a bit confusing but you can see a lot. You get a lot of hope for good items when you first walk in and see the Van Gogh and Monet right away, but that was about it. There was a small Rodin Thinker as well. All in all, a good time, and worth a visit if you are in the area

Wow this place is amazing! We traveled from Columbus to check out the museum and we weren’t disappointed. We have a membership with Columbus Museum of Art and through the reciprocal agreement program this was all free for us. The museum itself is free but normally you would pay $10 for parking. But since we have the membership it was free. They had works of art from all eras and I was happy to see a Renoir as those are my favorites! We spent 3 hours and didn’t get to see everything before they closed. We will be back! They have a little coffee shop with food (we didn’t go in so I can’t review that piece). They have bathrooms up and downstairs. Plenty of parking and everything is accessible. Check this out, you won’t be disappointed!

I am so grateful to have such an incredible art museum in our city. My son & I frequent this place. We always enjoy ourselves. If and when he does get antsy about not interacting with the art, we just head downstairs where he can touch EVERYTHING! My little dude has been Culturally educated and inspired with the opportunities we've had to visit this place from such an early age. Thanks Toledo!🖼🎨🌃🎵😎

This beautiful complex is wonderfully curated which makes it easy and pleasant to experience the beauty presented. There is variety, history and culture.
I discovered a Dutch painting of people enjoying themselves on the frozen canal. And there were men playing golf! Yes, in 17th C.! The golf clubs were similar to those used in the 1920s.
There are many buildings on the acreage of the campus. One is the "glass" museum which also houses a glassblowing demonstration and the Impressionist hall.
There is paid parking, but free entry. But be careful: if you switch parking lots to go to other buildings, it'll cost another $10. Better to walk across the street.
The staff are pleasant and personable, and contributed to a marvelous experiences we had.

The Toledo Museum of Art has so much to offer for engagement and wedding photo locations! I much prefer the outdoor locations so I do not impede on museum-goer experiences, but they are so good you won't even miss the indoor spots! There are marble columns for some classic and regal-looking photos and then there are pathways surrounded by unique art. My favorite spot is this cool metal building/wall. Rainy or bad weather? The Glass Pavilion is a very cool spot right across the street.

Great museum! The mummified cat was neat. They had some really nice pieces and everyone we spoke with that worked there was super nice. If you get to close to something it announces that you’re too close and to back up. Beautiful pieces in the gift shop as well.

First time visiting the museum. The staff was professional and friendly and the museum exhibits were awesome. Spent 3 hours and ran out of time. Looking forward to going back. The Caravaggio exhibit was special and I learned a lot about the artist, his life, and style. I have a new appreciation for art in the little time I spent there.

The ceilings are high, the exhibit is large and spacious and beautifully set up. There are multiple items to review in one space. The art is interesting and there is so much to read. You can literally spend 5 hours at this museum just reading everything and learning. It's free with $10 parking. There are multiple places to sit in every room, the staff is friendly, and the environment is quiet and extremely well kept up. Love it here.

The museum was great. Some modern, contemporary, and a good amount of the great fine arts. It would be nice if parking was free, but I'm sure it goes towards the Museum
Unpretentious rooms inside a lively water park offering a restaurant/bar, a pool & a gym.
I went just over this week for one day. The staff was very friendly, made sure that everything was just right and answered all of my questions that I had. For the ticket price, it was amazing. For less then $100, I was able to take my family on a nice day trip to the water park. As for the actual water park, it was very clean, and very kid friendly. For older kids, it might get boring a little quick, but it was great for my family. I loved our time that we spent there and I highly recommend!

Great for a birthday party! Park is clean and well staffed. Slides are fun; water is warm & crystal clear. Food is delicious but pizza is comparable to Little Caesar's hot & ready. Go early for best seating and locker rental.

Family came expecting to have a nice fun day to celebrate my niece birthday at the water park only to be told it is not open. When booking the room this was not mentioned. We didn’t drive an hour away to only get to enjoy the hotel pool 😡. After seeing other reviews it seems they would have done something to inform people when booking the water park section is temporarily closed, but no they let people book anyway. I swear I understand they need to keep making money but this is just misleading and poor management on their part. I hope they update the website asap. Otherwise, they will continue to get poor reviews.
At first glance the room seemed fine. But unfortunately after taking a better look I found it to be not as clean as one would expect, the remote control was sticky, there was dust all around, the ice bucket was covered in it, the refrigerator and microwave were both dirty on the outside. I want to know who thought this room met quality standards.

We went to Splash Universe the weekend of April 6-7, 2024! I loved learning about the history of the hotel and waterpark on our stay, but basically the water park resort is under new management because the old owners just walked out during the COVID pandemic and left the place to rot! The new owners and staff that were there when we stayed were very respectful and helpful! Very friendly! To stay there for a night for 5 was $495! It’s a little bit pricey since the Waterpark was the only attraction open and the arcade and restaurant are still under construction! The person I talked to at the front desk said they are hoping to have the arcade and restaurant open May 1st! The hotel was very nice; there were vending machines, and atms around the hotel and then there was also a pool and an exercise room; the waterpark has a lazy river, slides, toddler area, and a hot tub (adult supervision is required for people under 18)! We got a nice room that had a pull out couch, recliner, table and chairs, bunk beds, bed, 2 cable tvs, microwave, and refrigerator! The hotel does have internet but there was no breakfast during our stay! We also needed a crib for an 8th month old and the front desk were nice to give us one! I did end up slipping and falling in the waterpark area and hurting my knee and toe but I’m fine now! Overall, we had a nice time, even though it was a bit pricy we still enjoyed our stay! I do agree they should give a discount or something though since everything was not all open during our stay!

Pretty great!! Their water park is super fun, and everyone is nice! Food isn’t that great, but there are a lot of restaurants around. The water slide are great, and the lazy river is so fun!! The person that works your social media should be fired.
I won’t visit again, due to the rudeness from your social media employer.
The rooms are dirty, & chlorine makes you choke, and burn your skin.
Was willing to give this place another chance, when it re-opens. But, not after the rude encounters from your social media influencer. They’ve influenced myself, entire family, and others from ever giving you another chance.

I wish I could leave NO STARS!!!!! I booked the presidential suite for 3nights and when we checked in the water park was closed the arcade was closed. The room was decent, but had an odd step up to the jacuzzi area and when my son stepped down he tripped and split his lip!!! The manager was told, he didn’t do anything he didn’t offer to do anything nor did he offer his apology. My son is 2! When I tried changing rooms and they weren’t going to work for my son and I, he asked for a refund and was told NO! I said excuse me but I haven’t even slept here and in no way am I checking out without a refund when I spent 665$!!! He got loud with me I said excuse me lower your voice I have not raised my voice to you sir don’t do that. He finally said fine take your refund and GET OUT!! He snatched the keys from me and pointed at the door!! I WILL NEVER EVER BE BACK!!!!! Very Very Very rude and unprofessional

Our room appeared clean, but there was a very strong smell of mint when we arrived, which dissipated through the night to combine with the equally strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. We checked out before sunrise. Probably won't stay again, at least until they can deodorize instead of trying to cover up strong odors.

They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that every guest had an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with smiles and made to feel like valued guests. The staff's exceptional knowledge of the water park and its amenities was truly impressive as the water park wasn’t open our excitement built for the opening. They went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, provide helpful recommendations, and assist us with anything we needed throughout our stay. Thank you Splash Universe we will be back :)

There’s nothing special about the place and no reason to stay here. Splash park in closed. There’s a pool, but no hot tub or sauna. Although the staff was friendly, the rooms clean, beds good there was no good reason to stay there. Dundee must have had grand illusions of tourists coming to see Cabela’s, as there are many hotels and restaurants in that area. Also, not enough plugs for electronics, which everyone has these days. EDIT: just downgraded to two stars due to them charging me twice, even though I told them I booked ahead and already paid. I called and they said it would drop off when the charge went through. It already went through, the charges are still there twice and I’m going to call them again. If I was tight for money this would have really messed things up. Not happy. Not worth the money I paid.

Booked a room here while on a long road trip with our son- he was really excited to check out the water park after being in a car all day… but when we got there the water park and arcade were all shut down. When we made our reservation on their website, they did not say that the resort was closed down for construction except for some tiny print at the bottom of your booking confirmation in with the policies. This place is completely dishonest with how they are currently advertising their property- and at the expense of kids feelings. They wouldn’t even upgrade the room or give any solutions besides refunding a measly $20 for the inconvenience. They even admitted that this was an ongoing issue that it wasn’t being communicated on their website. Thanks for false advertisement and letting kids down just to trick people into booking at your hotel.
They also did not have continental breakfast because “the guy didn’t show up” - they didn’t even try making anything better!

This place needs to SERIOUSLY BE INVESTIGATED! I was ripped off back the winter before last for a room I booked thru this booking site for the BRAND NEWLY RENOVATED WATERPARK AND RESORT... a few days after I paid for this booking.... I called the actual hotel to get further details about the waterpark and the birthday club.. and arcade to ask how it all worked and was told that the waterpark would be completed by the end of November (this was at the beginning of November and the reservations were for Dec. 31! So, I continued to watch and monitor the website and fb page, as well as continually called, left messages , voicemails and was ignored. I contacted the scamming booking site who should be held just as much accountable for even allowing this place to use their platform to rip people off! And I was never able to ever actually reach anyone at the hotel waterpark its self... EVER . And the booking site who very clearly allowed for false advertising would not cancel the reservation or refund my money .... and come to find out the room I booked wasnt even for a newly revovated room even... jusy another 1 star hotel, poorly managed by a bunch of scamming thieves! I reported this Paypal who made me go thru months of back and forth with the dispute resolution who inevitably refused to refund me or even doing anything about making the "resprt and waterpark owner offering to allow me to reschdule booking for whemever they did jave the water park completed .. WHICH NEVER HAPPENED ANYWAYS...AND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! PEOPLE CONTINUE TO BE SCAMMED AND RIPPED OFF AND NO ONE DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

Absolutely huge store with everything you could want when exploring the outdoors. The prices seem reasonable and you can find discounted items inside. Aside from all the items for sale there is a mini-mountain in the center of the store decorated with animals and a waterfall. A Frank Lloyd Wright designed home that has was purchased by a community organization in the early 2000s and restored to it's original glory. Certainly not the most grand FLW house but worth a quick stop.

Great tour of very nice restored Frank Lloyd Wright house. I drove by this house 25 years ago when it had been subdivided into apartments and was in really bad shape. The organization that did the restoration did an incredible job. I highly recommend the tour if this house.

Just out for a ride and discovered this place by accident. Definitely buy tickets in advance. Unable to take the tour but will go back. Home has bee. Totally restored.

Didn't realize there was a Frank Lloyd Wright house located in Springfield til a few years ago. I'm very interested into architecture and him. I made it to Fallingwater a few years ago which was bucket list checkoff. I would have liked to went inside Westcott but am currently on a budget. Was nice to actually be able to view and appreciate the outside without costing any money.

Was driving through town and decided to do a tour and the house was really neat. It was restored a few years ago and they did a wonderful job with the place. The docent was extremely knowledgeable and spoke clearly. Her stories about the house and the family really explained the history well. It's unfortunate they don't have more of the original furniture but it's understandable why they don't and they're lucky to have the house in such great shape.

Nice tour of this FLW prairie style home built in the first decade of the 1900s. It has a garage rather than a carriage house. Mr. Westcott was developing a Westcott automobile, which never apparently happened after Mrs. Westcott passed away. He also was a mayor of Springfield. Our guide John G., a Springfield native was very good, and the gift shop was amazing, maybe the best I've been in of the FLW sites I've toured.

One of the best Frank Lloyd Wright tours we have ever taken. The house has been beautifully restored to its original greatness. A must stop for all FLW fans

A fantastic tour! From the family's history and the area's history, great information. It looks like the place could use some touch-up repairs and a deep clean though. Learn about distinct FLW elements and take a journey into the past. Fun experience.

Informative small-group tour in a thoroughly renovated frank Lloyd wright early house. Furniture are newly built but with a design accurate for the period. Very well stocked gift shop including motawi tiles and teco revival vases. If you're in the area it's worth it, but do make a reservation for the tour.

Very interesting tour. Enjoyed learning about the history of the architect as well as the family who owned the house. Must see!!
Limestone & dolomite gorges offering varied hiking paths, some with wooden walkways & lookouts.
Free parking with 30 spaces? Deep gorge with a swift stream coursing over the rocks. Outlook points peeking over the gorge offer great views. There are placards on overlook decks describing bits of history. Multiple trail choices. Well maintained with sturdy railings and steps. There was even a waterfall with huge icicles! Very nice way to spend an afternoon.

Great place to hike with a lot of interesting geology and history. The trails are well maintained, and relative easy. Parking can be a challenge near Clifton. I find it easier to park at John Bryan State Park and hike through (the trails connect), but ymmv depending on how long and how difficult you want your hike to be. No pets allowed here. There are restrooms at the Nature Center.
Michael — Google review
Some of the views of the Gorge are just stunning! I'd say if you're not really out for a hike, and just want to see some nice views of nature, just stop at the parking lot by the mill. It's a very short walk from there to the viewing platforms. The trail at the Narrows/Gorge does sort of run along a street, so the hiking isn't great in this area per say, but the views are really gorgeous. The trails get better as you get deeper into the preserve. There aren't restrooms here, but there are at the nature center which you can hike to. Lots of parking here as well, as can be seen in one of my photos.

Wow 🤩 this is a scenic nature preserve. There’s a lot to see here. I brought my niece and nephew ( age 2 and 4) and they were in awe with the trickling waterfall, limestone gorge, butterflies, wild vegetation and small snakes. About halfway through the trail, I mildly regretted not having a child carrier because they got really tired. The toddler fell asleep and we back tracked to the parking lot. I quickly learned how rocky the trail is and the variety of elevations I had missed in the beginning 😂 So here are some things I jotted down for a better visit next time. And I’ll share it with you in case you plan on checking this place out with kids :)
- There are 2 parking lots next to each other.
(The lots are about a mile away from each other) One has a bathroom and the other does not.
- Wear grip shoes or boots. Bring a hiking child carrier. The trail is rocky and muddy.
- No strollers and pet. The trail is narrow.
- Photograph trail map. The markers can easily be missed and there is no data connection.
This place is a gem and fun to explore. If you haven’t been able to nomad through Hocking hills or just want a place with less foot traffic, this is the place. I like it 🙌🏼

This is a beautiful area surrounded by miles of trails. You can see waterfalls and cross the river at low points with bridges. Beautiful scenery and greenery are the focus. Trails are paved which makes it easy for families with small children. Lots of places to rest and overhangs from which to see the beautiful area. Lots of history and landmarks can be seen throughout the miles of trails

A pretty like oasis just outside of Yellow Springs! Scenic, well maintained trails with a variety of landscapes. The John L. Rich trail in particular is a beautiful hike along the river with many overlooks, interesting rock formations, and access to the river. Trail is easy-moderate with stairs and some rocky terrain. Be prepared for weekends in the spring and summer to be more crowded.

Love the diverse ecology. Upper trail looking into the gorge. The lower trail near the water. It butts up against another park so it can be a long or short hike. Plenty of photo ops. Every season brings changes to the hike.

As always, this area is spectacular it’s so peaceful and beautiful. I’ve been able to hike this park during all four seasons and fall is by far my favorite. Clifton Gorge, State, Nature, preserve, and John Bryan State Park do not have any type of entry fee, but Glen Helen nature preserve does because it is private and so far I have hiked every trail on Glen, Helen, and every trail in John Bryan, except for the mountain bike trail, and I have hiked, every trail in Clifton Gorge.
FINALLY—for any climbers 🧗♂️
They have specific Cliff climbing areas and anchor points along certain trails—usually on the upper rim trails. There are specific placards in place to mark the anchor areas(SEE PICS-Las couple)

We love hiking here and seeing the beauty of this area, which is not too far from our home. We have been here in the Summer, Fall, and in the freezing cold of Winter and it’s been beautiful every time! There are easy areas and more difficult trails to hike also. We were able to do both this time as we are in better shape now than when we went last year! It such a nice hike because it was not too crowded as we went on a Friday afternoon, and not a Saturday. It’s close to Yellow Springs, so after hiking it’s nice to go there and grab a bite to eat or a drink! We went to Ole Ye Tavern in downtown Yellow Springs and had their pizza and beer. It was delicious! Enjoy!

As an avid hiker I frequent a lot of parks, nature preserves and trail systems. Over the past 40 years I've hiked thousands of miles. I lead into this review with that to let folks know this particular hike is one of my favorites. Clifton gorge, especially the narrows is one of the most beautiful hikes in Ohio. The trail system hooks into another one of my favorites John Brian SP. All together it is about 7 miles 3.5 hours of hiking to do the whole loop. The trail itself is medium difficulty and there is some dangerous areas, yet if one stays on trail it isn't nothing to be intimidated by. Take your time, take a camera, water and snack. Do the whole loop... you will not be disappointed.

One of the best hiking areas in Ohio. The Narrows are beautiful and reminiscent of those in more mountainous states. The trails were well-maintained and the naturalist was very informative.

This was a very nice hike. Absolutely beautiful trail. It was longer than I thought it would be. Had to cut it a little short since it was getting dark. I hiked down to the river and then along the river. Coming back along the rim trail. I definitely recommend this trail. Just be warned that you probably won't ha e cell service. Which isn't a bad thing since it means you can actually experience the trail in peace.

Little muddy today but the waterfall was in full effect due to the rain. Parking was abundant and trail was nicely marked and taken care of. Even a few new outlooks added to the trail.
Young's Jersey Dairy is a farm-based establishment that offers not only delicious ice cream but also other activities for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy mini-golf and batting cages, as well as watch cows being milked and feed goats. The restaurant on-site serves cheeseburgers, cheese curds, and other dishes that are sure to satisfy hunger cravings. While prices may be a bit high, many people rave about the quality of their milkshakes.
An excellent place to get a sweet treat after a long day! The buckeye milkshake is so good and well worth the price. I am also very impressed with the new building. You can now hold events there at a modest price, such as corporate get togethers and birthday parties.
I'm glad Young's is still in business. It's brought back memories of getting ice cream with grandpa after bike rides.

Always a great place to take the kids and do fun activities. Even with it being super busy today, we received our food and ice cream fairly quickly. This year there's a playground in the corn maze which was super fun and the pumpkins at the pumpkin patch are perfect! I always love coming to Young's.

I took my family there with my boyfriend for the first time and we had a blast! My nephew had fun feeding the goats for the first time, exploring and seeing all the animals (goats, cows, pigs), climbing in tractors, and exploring the play area made especially for kids his age filled with tons of age appropriate activities which was free for him and he’s under the age of 2. We also got food and ice cream here and it was all delicious! Both came out in a timely manner. They also have a cute little gift shop section you can shop from. Absolutely loved sharing a Young’s Dairy experience with my family that I grew up loving!

I just don't know how anyone could rank this place lower than five stars. It has been a fantastic establishment for all the years it has been around. We have watched it grow over the years in many different ways that demonstrates their high commitment to high quality food, desserts, fun activities, etc. The service has always been amazing with tons of staff ready to help at any time. That is true again since our last visit before the pandemic. If you're in the Springfield area, you must do yourself a favor and stop in.

This is a perfect place if you are trying to find something for couple of hours depending on the crowd size. If it is just one family then the options you have is farm, petting/feeding animals, walking around to take pictures, maybe games depending on your interest and end up with a good treat...they have great ice cream collections and wide menu. I loved their fried cheese curds..peaches and cream was my favorite along with white cream with chocolate and Raspberry. I get to try their garlic and dill flavor (yes ice cream), for me it tasted like frozen garlic butter. If you are visiting this with few families then you can spend 4+ hours including all fun games....would recommend this place.

The milkshakes we got were great!! We had cheeseburgers and cheese curds and they were both good. A little pricey $38 for 2 drinks, 2 milkshakes, 2 cheese curds and 2 cheesburgers. We got to see super cute animals!!! The baby goats were so soft and adorable!

Young's Jersey Dairy is a fun-filled, nostalgic place to be!!! I first came myself in the early 90s & loved it! Later in, I brought my son who loved it just like I did! I reconnected with the love of my life & we returned on a date!!! So, Young's is truly a part of the family! It has changed a lot over the years, but it will always be a special place to us! By the way... the Sweet Potato Bread Sundae... DIVINE!!!!!

We met some of the family at Young's for a treat before they had to head back home out of state. We have eaten here several times but only once before at the new building and tables. There was a really nice shaded area under the porch to eat your treat. Today we got the straw berry short cake with the vanilla ice cream. The whip cream on top is a nice touch. The cake wasn't really pound cake but really just like regular cake. Also the ice cream seemed really sweet more than creamy. The strawberries were nice and fresh and delicious. I probably wouldn't order it again but would stick to the strawberry ice cream. It has always been great.

This is definitely a mid-west experience you don't want to miss, it's massive, large parking lot, petting zoo, long line to order but it moves fast because they know what they are doing. It's great to go for some hikes around Jon Bryan State Park and then get some dinner and ice cream. The ice cream is mandatory don't miss out. Plenty of tables to even on the busiest day I've been you can typically find a seat even for a large group.

Visited here several years ago and thought the restaurant part was quite rundown. Was pleased to see they have redone the restaurant and it is really really nice. Very nice and clean restrooms. Quite a few indoor tables even for groups. Little gift shop inside with various decor and gifts and a plethora of food items - cheese curds, etc. We ate lunch - you order at counter and they give you a beeper to pick up your food from the counter. You can order from your table as well using a QR code. We fed the goats - can buy food outside for a quarter. Went into barn - cows, goats, pig that you could pet. Also pumpkins and gourds to purchase outside. Reasonably priced. Went putt putt golfing with a group - course was well maintained and fun. Ice cream is great and homemade there. Super fun time!

My first time to the new building of Young's Jersey Dairy restaurant. Lots of seating options including a HUGE family table. There is a line for ice cream and a line for food/drink. And the lines go very fast. You place your order and they give you a device to let you know when your order is up at the Grill. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger with no bun (because of GF issues), the cheese curds and hot apple cider. My burger was alright, not hot at all, but edible. The cheese curds came with 3 sauces and those curds are delicious!
There is a cute gift shop that includes breads, pies, jams and candy.

This place is phenomenal!! We came for mini putt (udders and putters, are you kidding me?! Genius!) and stayed for baby goats, baby cows, kittens and delicious food. There's an app to pre-order your food and then you head over and pick it up to skip the line, absolutely a time saver. 10/10 would recommend, the 17th hole of mini putt is about the appropriate timing to order, finish your game, meander over, and then everything is ready. We had zero children with us and had an incredible time as adults, definitely a kid-friendly place, but tons of activities for those of us young at heart as well.

Such an awesome place for family fun! We had lunch and their homemade ice cream and both were amazing! I love all the activities they have to offer. We went to their petting zoo, played miniature golf, and went on their giant slide. It was a great place to spend our Saturday together!

What a fun place! We got there early so there really wasn't a big crowd. They have a great selection of ice cream flavors, fresh cheese curds and some baked goods. There are a lot of activities that are family friendly, from wagon rides, corn maze and feeding goats. Overall a fun place! They also have a driving range as well (I didn't check it out but it definitely seemed to be a popular spot). There is plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and plenty of seating for everyone. It appears that they do have different events happening in the weekend.

Homemade ice cream is without a doubt the best flavor. The sandwiches and onion rings take a little longer to serve, but they are also very tasty and should be eaten. There is a cattle barn just around the corner, which can be visited freely, and is recommended for visitors with children.

We stopped here because of geocaching, so happy we learned of the place. Although very off season timing it was a great visit, always a good time to enjoy animals. Probably the best cheese curds from a restaurant I’ve ever had. Of course had to get some fresh milk and it was so good! Planning our return trip to check out the carousel when it’s put in this summer.

I spent about 20 minutes looking around inside at the cheese for sale that sounded awesome and at the gift shop and outside in the barn. The goats were bahhing. It was cute. Petted a little cow. They have hand cleanser stations for after you pet the animals or let them eat feed from your palm. You can buy a little container of goat feed inside for $1.75 or outside by the goats they have 4 gumball type dispensers with feed ..a small handful for $.25.

Very clean store that sells lots of varieties of ice cream either at the counter or in bulk containers. A few different kinds of cheese. Ice cream and cheese tasted really good and fresh. A deli area is at the right rear. Also a few food items and novelty items are sold.

What a cool place and the treats were delicious but the line was long and the time we had to wait to get ice cream felt like I was at a Michelin star restaurant. (They only had 2 people at the registers)

Charleston Falls Preserve is a 216-acre park in Miami County, Ohio, that features extensive hiking trails and a beautiful waterfall. It is among the most popular parks in Miami County, with families and casual visitors alike enjoying its nature and scenery.
Charleston Falls has been coming up a lot as a must see hike and waterfall on Pinterest. I've been waiting for a decent amount of rainfall before I went and I was not disappointed. Although it wasn't a torrent of water coming over the falls, it was a decent amount. I wasn't expecting anything other than the waterfall but the trails are wide and mostly gravel. A few trails are part mowed grass and well maintained. The viewing areas of the waterfall is the lower part accessed by stairs. The other viewing area is actually observation areas along the main trail to the falls. I would enjoy coming back and hike some more of the trails.

It was a beautiful hike but the water was not running. I feel like a sign at the entrance stating that would have been beneficial. I realize many people go for the nature walk but we were specifically looking for a waterfall. It didn’t. Appear that water had ran there in quite sometime considering the vegetation growing.

This is a great hike. Many trails to choose how much you want to walk. The waterfall is fairly close to the entrance, so if you just come to look at it you don't have to walk far. There is also a lake on the property. Bathrooms are at the head of the trails. Dog friendly. Looking forward to going back

This is a must-go-to park! Lots of trails, pet friendly, mostly stroller friendly, and definitely kid friendly trails. Nothing too extreme. Waterfall is beautiful when not in a dry season. Plenty of wildlife to be seen, little creeks for the kids or pups to splash in. If you are nearby, it's worth checking out!

An absolutely lovely park. The trails were very well maintained, clean, and well marked. The waterfalls were strikingly gorgeous. We did all the trails and so much to see. From budding Spring flowers, some animals and birds, and lots of areas with water. Cedar Pond is especially beautiful. There are benches placed in multiple areas to sit and soak in the beauty. Tons of parking. A picnic area and plenty of picnic benches in the picnic area as well as near the parking lot. Restrooms available at the parking lot as well.

What a beautiful area this is. The hike through the woods was scenic. The waterfall wasn't flowing much but the whole area around it was beautiful to explore. We enjoyed our hike and we wish we lived closer so we could come back more often and explore more. I wish the trails were better marked at each intersection. We found a place for a map along the trail but the map was missing. I feel like we may have missed parts because of the lack of signage.

First time being there. Trails are amazingly maintained, ADA accessible up to the falls as well as some other areas. The falls were dried up while we were there but it was fun to see it during its "off" season. Beautiful property will absolutely be back to experience more of it.

Nice and easy hike. I would say signage could be a little better, but all the trails kinda interconnect so it's not a huge deal. Also landing marking where the actual falls are on the map would be good. A pretty nice and shady trail.

This was my first time here. It was great! The walking trails split off so you can choose how much you want to walk. I knew it would be crowded since it was a nice day, but it wasn't too bad. The water fall isn't too far from the entrance, so even if you only go for that you don't have to walk far. There is also a small lake on the property. The place has bathrooms at the front of the trails. Dogs are welcome. Mine had a great time! We are looking forward to going again.

We love hikes in the woods, expected to actually see a working waterfall and it was dried up. Also there are certain parts of the wall that could benefit from a small guardrail.
We have little kids and as much as we tried to watch them and hold hands we were stressing because the climb back up from the place we could see falls (if there was any) was not very safe
**also desperately needs signage. We had to ask some people how to get back because at certain points there is bother but random trails and woods around you.

This was an overall good experience. I went with friends and being there with them made it awesome.
Thinking objectively about the festival itself, though, I don’t think it was worth the ticket price. It’s marketed as a permanent village, which to me made it seem like there would be good, well-made structures there when in reality, much of it looks like thin pieces of old wood nailed together to make ramshackle buildings. Colors are faded on flags and tapestries. The benches are warped and have green things growing on them. The paths are gravel. Shouldn’t it be packed dirt? There wasn’t gravel back then.
There was a lot less period-accurate things happening than I expected. For one, there were loud speakers and microphones used, which I was disappointed by. Shows talked big but did little—passionate people without the talent to back it up. Songs were present-day and sung badly over and over. One woman used a terrible British accent as entertainment. The energy from some was still good and helped make the shows, but I’d say it’s probably more kid-level than an adult would enjoy, yet some of the jokes made aren’t great for kids so there’s an imbalance there. But kids wouldn’t notice the poor performances as well.
The food and drinks are over-priced but that’s to be expected at such an event. I thought it was weird that you could buy pizza and Whiteclaw at a Renaissance festival; this was my first time going and I expected it to be more period-accurate. I did see turkey legs and a sign for mead, but I think the mead was just beer.
It was hard to book it over to shows we wanted to see, too. A bit of a confusing layout and the times weren’t conducive to being able to see one show and then another right after in time. Like the jousting only lasted like 10-15 minutes, so if you were coming from something else, you miss it before you can even arrive. :/
Kids’ rides were super expensive—$4/ride on a rickety-looking old wooden slide? No! 😆
On the other hand, the kettle corn was really good and only $3 for a small, but it was huge! The best value of the whole place. And some people who attended had really beautiful costumes and makeup. That wasn’t thanks to the actual festival or ticket money spent, but it was cool to see.

The Holiday Yuletide Village was beautiful. The shops were transformed to showcase holiday-themed gifts while keeping the renaissance festival alive. We enjoyed walking amongst the lights and characters in the park. The weather was a bit cool so it was nice to spend some time near the many fire pits they had set up. Absolutely a wonderful experience.

Was super excited to attend the festival for the first time ever! I got my boyfriend and myself tickets for his birthday and we headed to the festival. It took us an hour to get to the entrance when we were 1.5miles away. The park was over crowded and it was very hard to enjoy the activities. I think I would have loved the festivities if there were about half the amount of people there. The large crowds made it hard to see shows and shop at the vendors. The food lines were really long. When we finally tried to leave at 5:50 it took us over 4 hours to get out of the parking lot. I can’t believe we spent so much time dealing with the parking and so little time inside the cramped faire. Not sure if I will ever return and this experience definitely put a damper on my boyfriends birthday present. I couldn’t help but think of the safety of everyone crammed in there if there had been an emergency. Thank goodness mostly everyone left safely- albeit certainly SLOWLY. Please do better in the next years.

The Renaissance Festival was an awesome experience! The tickets are pricey but the amount of entertainment you get throughout the day makes it worth it. There's all kinds of shows, vendors, and food throughout the park and it really makes you feel like you've time traveled. The park is so big we didn't even see everything in the 4+ hours we were there. I've been inspired to dress up next time!

First times joined this event on September and absolutely love it... I felt like going back to my childhood used the blanket to made the princess customes... I feel I be younger...
I heard before they dressed up renaissance custome but now we can dress up more than that and no one judge us...
There was many games and show to enjoy and laugh and relieve your stress.
You can buy your custome here I saw they are really high quality outfits. Also have many interesting souvenir stores. The most my favorite store was insense store... the staffs there they very friendly and patient with my barry language
Thanks for create this wonderful event ...love you guys and can wait for next season !

We don’t have anything like this in Ireland. I absolutely loved it. Its great fun dressing up and going along. Some of the people there dressed up are really committed and their costumes look like something from Game of Thrones and Lord of the rings. Its unreal. The atmosphere of the whole place is wonderful. Its crazy its like being transformed back in time once you walk through the gates. The shows are really entertaining. The shops have weird and wonderful stuff. The food and drinks are renaissance inspired. Great play areas for kids. Jousting is the main event and is good fun to watch.

Extremely well-organized event. Renaissance Fair had wide open and plentiful parking and easy exit. Clean grounds, can walk through it in an hour, add time if you stop in the shops and lines and shows of course.

Wonderful. Amazing shows, amazing atmosphere, can't say enough good things about it. Their Yuletide Village was also extremely fun! They need to do more advertising for it so more people can experience it.
The National Museum of the United States Air Force houses a vast array of aircraft, military artifacts and exhibits on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base just outside Dayton. The museum is huge, and visitors can explore everything from displays covering Air Force Art to world war II bomber jackets to hundreds of whole aircraft. The museum has an on-site cafe that's a great place to rest after a long day of exploring.
This place has an incredible amount of information and exhibits. They have free tours that guide you through the history of aviation, presidential planes pre-1970, quite a few real planes and many more items. It was not busy when we arrived and it wasn't busy when we left. They have a cafe on site (Valkyrie cafe) and although I didn't eat there, it seemed like a basic place to grab a quick bite. My four year old kids enjoyed it. We will likely be back when they get a bit older. The staff was incredibly nice. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This is by far the greatest air museum I have been to!! Judging from the other reviews here or any where else, the place totally does not disappoint! You and your family definitely should spend a day and you'll see. It's FREE admission and parking. There's plenty of displays and definitely gives honor to the service men and women of the past and present. I would love to visit again! (When they open the Early Days of flight)

This place is huge and has so many planes! It's very informative of all the wars and how the planes came about. I really liked that it had places you could stop and watch a video of people speaking about their experiences. The air force one planes were tight! If you are claustrophobic I do not recommend :D
They were setting up for an air force dinner ball and everyone that came looked amazing!
Gift shop had a lot of fun things you can purchase.

Massive museum with an extensive collections of planes from the beginnings of aviation until today.
Definitely could spend days in there and still have material to read and learn.
A great museum for any history, military or aviation buff.
Lots of walking ( smart watch clocked 6 miles indoors!) so be ready for those distances.

Took my girlfriend here for a surprised trip and we had such a great experience. Since she's a teacher, she enjoyed reading all the history and facts about the planes and about the equipment used in the wars. I love how clean this place was and spread out so it never felt crowded. I recommend spending about 2 days here if you want to get the full experience and read everything. About 1 day if you just want to look at everything. Great gift shop and cafeteria too.

After 15+ years, I managed to return to this museum, and I was impressed by the changes. -including a new building.
The museum covers flight from the earliest days all the way to current space vehicles
If you go, wear comfortable shoes and bring a spare battery for your camera. The docents are helpful and know details of the exhibits. I do recommend making a donation and getting a site map so you can target sections to visit. I suspect I will find an excuse to return sometime soon.

The exhibits are great. I have visited twice before and would come back again to see the exhibits.
The parking lot has two electric chargers with four parking spots. The charging is slower than my home charger but is at a decent charging rate of about 30 miles per hour.
The food court is expensive. Cost about $50 for one adult and two kids for food and drinks.
Most ridiculous is that there is NO water station anywhere in the museum. I understood that water fountains are not safe in this pandemic. However, at least the museum should put water bottle fill stations.
Other than staying thirsty, your only option is to visit the cafe and pay $2.75 for a bottle of water.
In the cafe, there is NO plastic recycling for the plastic package and the water bottles. As a public institution, the museum should do better on recycling.

This is such an awesome museum. They have so many airplanes to look at. If you are an airplane enthusiast set aside at least a whole day to spend here. There is so much history in this museum. They also have some simulators you can try out, those cost money. Be warned, the cafe is very expensive. If you can I recommend eating elsewhere. The gift shop is awesome and has all kinds of cool things to get.

This place is a great learning experience for anyone who wants to know about military or the planes involved and the aircraft in general. Seeing it up close is a beautiful thing because from TV or just photos you can't really tell the true size of this place as well as the aircraft inside. Very beautifully taken care of great summertime fun nice and cool on the inside. Great for the whole family! Definitely worth visiting!!! They even have a gift shop and a food area.

It was an amazing experience! The museum is so huge, and there are so many different aircraft to see! Lots of experimental and hard-to-find aircraft, and from so many different time periods. There is also a large collection of presidential aircraft which you can walk through and a missile collection. An outstanding collection that you could easily spend a few days looking at. Great place for history enthusiasts and aviation nuts. Would highly recommend.

Awesome place from start to finish! The lady at the beginning who helped show us things on the map that we wanted to see was VERY helpful. This is an incredible place for aviation enthusiasts, people interested in history, little kids amazed by big vehicles, etc. Everyone should try to make it here at least once. Even the bathrooms were good, the facility was clean, and the gift shop had lots of good quality fun things to choose from. We'll definitely be back!

You can get a sweeping view of Air Force and military aviation progress at the National Museum of the United States Air Force, the world’s largest and oldest military aviation museum. There are more than 360 aircraft and aerospace vehicles on display, many rare and one-of-a-kind. In addition, you’ll find thousands of historical aviation artifacts. If you love the Air Force, aviation or the military in general, you will want to visit. We have been to several service national museums and this one is one of the best. Highly recommend visiting. Would definitely suggest to plan to visit with 4-5 hours available. Museum admission and parking are free (fee for theater and flight simulators).

I had a limited amount of time to view the display. I was blown away by the size of some of the aircraft. You just don't have a true feel for some of these aerospace vehicles until you're standing right next to it. Service is great. The facility was very clean. I took advantage of their free mobility cart because of an injury. I would not have been able to view much of the displays but I was able to make it through all the buildings without being an excruciating pain which is a win-win for me. I highly recommend it.

Simply incredible, and FREE to enter. So many amazing planes. Probably the only place you can see 2 different SR71 models in the same museum. Some other favorites there were the YF 23, F 117 and the B2. The prototype planes were neat too. It took me about two hours just to look at everything and read maybe 15%. If you are near and have more than 2 hours you need to go

I had a great 3 hours in the museum. I wasn't expecting so many air and space craft. It took quite a bit just to walk around. I got an hour tour of hanger 4 from Dennis - and it was AMAZING. Dennis served in the Air Force so he had his own stories but was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire museum and each plane. Just a fantastic experience. A must see!

Free to get in!
I recently visited the Air Force museum and was pleasantly surprised by the extensive indoor and outdoor exhibits they had to offer. The museum was filled with a lot of people, more than I had planned for, but it added to the energetic atmosphere of the place.
The indoor exhibits were informative and well-curated, showcasing the history and advancements of the Air Force over the years. I particularly enjoyed the displays of vintage planes and helicopters, as well as the interactive exhibits that allowed visitors to get a hands-on experience of what it's like to be a pilot.
The outdoor exhibits were equally impressive, with a wide range of aircraft displayed in an open-air setting. It was fascinating to see the different planes up close and learn about their unique features and capabilities.
One thing to note is that weapons are not allowed on the premises, so be sure to leave those at home. However, this didn't detract from the overall experience, as the museum had plenty of other interesting things to see and do.
Overall, I had a great time at the Air Force museum and would highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in aviation or military history. The exhibits were engaging, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and I left feeling enriched by all that I had learned during my visit.

This is hands down one of my favorite museums. I've been 4-5 times now and love bringing friends and family for their first time. The staff is fantastic and the tours are incredible. You could spend all day here and learn so much. It would be hard to fit everything into one day if you do all the tours. They are free and 100% worth it.

Lot of history and plenty of planes to see. It's definitely a place for all age groups, especially for those who love history and big planes. The place is huge so I'd encourage you to carry plenty of fluids. The entry into Air Force One was great, although it's not a newer plane. I would plan for a full day visit so you get ample time to see everything. Don't miss the theater show and be sure to check the show timings ahead of visit.

This place this incredible! To begin its 100% free! How can you beat that. Besides that this place is a history bombshell! Tons of history in this place beyond just military. They have stuff dedicated to the beginning of flight. Then they progress through flight throughout history starting with world war I moving to world war II then the Vietnam and korean war and moving to modern flight. The end is space flight and presidential planes. Awesome place. Interactive for kids and more information than you can take in for a single visit. Will have to return.

AWESOME experience! If you are a history museum fan, if you love airplanes, if you want to see the biggest collection of aero history in one place, you have to plan to visit!
The museum is free to attend. They ask for a donation. Parking is free and plenty of it. We walked through all the hangers and spent the entire day at the museum (which is so easy to do because there is so much to see!!). There are free guided tours (see website in advance to see times and hangers) that give so much information about the planes and history. I was at this museum when I was a kid- it’s been over 30 years- and now my first time back with my own kids, it was way better and far exceeded my expectations! My husband who is military, my 10 year old son- all completely blown away at this gem of a museum!
We will definitely be going back at some point! Worth doing again!
Do plan to spend the whole day.
Don’t forget the planes outside too!
There is a cafe. Only water in clear bottles allowed. But if you pack a cooler there are covered shelters outside for a picnic lunch.

Wow. So much to see. I am sure we barely touched the surface. There were so many things to hear and read about. The museum is donation based only. There is a simulator you can pay to ride. We loved walking I. The old Air Force One planes. But the space is tight in those. Not really for the claustrophobic! Overall a great stop for us!

This place is fantastic, it took me 4 hours and I wasn't able to see everything that I wanted. So much cool history and definitely a sense of pride as an American seeing where we have been and I'm curious what will be in the fifth hangar in the future twenty years from now!

Great place to visit. Free parking, free admission. You can donate whatever amount and get a map from them (optional). The have free double stroller to use indoors if needed for kids. This was the ultimate place to experience a total solar eclipse. I drove 1200 miles for the experience, and it was well worth it. This museum is inconceivably big, with huge galleries containing almost 400 planes. Curation of exhibits is first rate. One could spend days in there. And the parking and admission are free. An ultimate deal. Staff did a great job putting on a mega event for the eclipse of 2024.

A truly amazing and interactive journey through aviation history. They have it all and help you to journey through history. From the Wright brothers to Air Force One to the world’s fastest plane the SR-71 Blackbird. We spent the whole day here and still didn’t have enough time to see it all. I can’t wait to return again soon.

What can I say. The National Museum of the US Airforce is fantastic. I have wanted to go here for years, as it’s the only place in the world with a real flying saucer. To say I was impressed is an understatement. We have nothing like this in the UK and it puts every air museum I have been to, including in Washington DC to shame.
If you like planes, this is one place you HAVE to visit. I went a long way out of the way when driving from Chicago to Niagara Falls to visit here and it was well worth it. Over 1000 planes, covering from the Wright Brothers; from just down the road; to the very latest F-22 and B2. Though it’s a shame the B2 isn’t real and not a very good mock-up.
I would definitely recommend visiting here and its one of few places worthy of a special trip to see it. You can easily spend all day here.

It's a huge museum and very well maintained ed. We are surprised it is FREE entry. Ample parking, free again.
It took us 3.5 hours to take a quick tour. There were many exhibits of real plane remains and stuff. Many movies playing every corner showing how the remains were collected and refurbished for display. We enjoyed. There were many other interactive stations, kids loved.
Start from exhibits 3 if you have kids. They have virtual reality and other simulation rides. Some other engaging exhibits for children there.
SUPER expensive food. Not worth it at all. A small slice of co-pilot pizza, charged at 8$. Way toooo much.

My visit to this museum was truly memorable and enjoyable. The extensive collection of presidential aircraft on display was both impressive and educational, offering a unique glimpse into the history of presidential travel. The exhibits were well-maintained and thoughtfully presented, making our walk through the museum a delightful experience. However, the only downside to our visit was the limited food options available at the museum's restaurant. Beyond just chips and small snacks, there wasn't much variety for a proper meal, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience at the museum was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in aviation or presidential history. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the positive atmosphere of our visit.

We had a great visit with an air force veteran. Most of the museum is accessible except for the space shuttle and Air Force One exhibits(the elevator to the upper level of the shuttle was out of order and the Presidential planes feature tight corridors you have to squeeze through). The Museum is well laid out and flows from one era of aviation to the next. Well worth the visit and you could definitely spend more than one day there to absorb everything there is to see.

I hadn't been here since I was a kid! I came here for the eclipse to see totality on 4/8/24; the event was extremely well organized. While the museum was very busy, the only claustrophobic moments were entering the building and using the bathroom closest to the entrance.
If you are anywhere in the Cincinnati-Dayton-Columbus area and you can take a day, visit this place. If you're an engineer in the aerospace industry, military, or just a huge fan of planes, this place will be heaven for you. Every important aircraft development in the history of the United States (and beyond) is included here.
The place is huge and packed full of details; bring your best walking shoes and pace yourself. If you don't have an entire day, get a map and find your favorites, then focus on seeing those. We spent about 3-4 hours split up by the eclipse and still could have spent another couple of hours in the place.
I left with a mix of feelings; it's a different experience when you're an adult. It has a way of getting your patriotism flowing; it is amazing what we can do when we put our minds to it. On the flip side of that, it is also frightening what we're capable of when we decide to do something; the missile gallery is a sobering reminder of this.
Carillon Historical Park is a 65-acre historical park located in Dayton, Ohio that showcases the many important innovations in transportation that have originated from the area. The Park contains 25 historically significant buildings, including the 1905 Wright Flyer III, the world's first practical airplane and National Historic Landmark, as well as exhibits about Dayton's contributions to World War II. The park also features a brewery and an exhibit about the 1913 flood that struck Dayton.
Perfect for the family!
Whether it’s the history, the natural scenery, or the interactive areas the Carillon Historical Park is a landmark that will be enjoyed by the whole family. Truthfully, you could spend all day here or split it up amongst a few days. The museum has both indoor and outdoor area to be entertained which is great depending on the time of year. We look forward to coming back through the seasons!

What truly enhances the visit are the very friendly employees, who eagerly approach visitors with fascinating information about the exhibits, adding depth and engagement to the experience. A delightful surprise is the on-site printing company that crafts cards with kids' names free of charge, a charming touch that delights both young visitors and their families. Additionally, the Carillon Brewing Co. provides a taste of history with its historically accurate brewing process, making it the perfect spot to conclude a day of exploration. Carillon Historical Park is not just about revisiting the past; it's a vibrant, educational outing where history comes alive through passionate storytelling, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in exploring America's rich technological and cultural heritage in a beautifully curated and welcoming environment.

This place is a nice area to go for a walk and to experience the history of the railroad and The Wright brothers.
$12 for adults and 3 and under are free admission. Train rides are available base on a schedule. Mini train rides for children and grownups as well that last about 5-8 minutes long. The park itself is nice and well keep. Restaurant on sight and clean restrooms are available along with wheelchair parking.

A great experience overall with a lot of incredible history. I love that the goal is to build up Dayton and all the incredible people who played a part in its history.
Admittedly I did come with a school so things are probably ran a little different when there are busloads of students coming at once.
Employees are a little intense about who qualifies for train rides and carousel rides. Why not just include it in admission prices?
I understand you need to make money but also the kids already paid to get in, is that dollar really making that big of a difference if the train is already running and so is the carousel?

Great variety of Dayton related historical artifacts and presentations, highly recommend a stop. Displays range from the Wright Brothers cycling and aviation work (including their 1905 flyer on display) to impressive transportation displays with very old autos, trains, and wagons. Had no idea this place was so huge and filled with so many incredible artifacts. We went just to see the Wright Brothers exhibit but ended up spending all day touring cash registers, printing presses, steam engines, cars and so much more! A definite must see in Dayton.

We stopped here for a couple hours on the way back to Wisconsin from Dayton, and we were pleasantly surprised! The cash registers were very fascinating and a really cool look into the history of commerce in this country. Some of the museum inside felt a bit like capitalistic propaganda at times, but that's how these old products were sold in those times and it was fascinating nonetheless.
We also checked out the Wright museum and the old houses and school house as well as the train museum here. The tour of the Wright brothers' first few planes was really great. Seeing the reconstruction of the 1905 flyer was really awe inspiring. The amount of human ingenuity on display in this museum was palpable and really hit home as to the huge strides in technology we've been achieving over the last 200+ years.
The train museum was also really fun to see. Going inside the old trains and imagining how traveling worked back in those times was also really great to see.
For some reason, this museum made for a more impactful experience of human history than a lot of other museums out there. It's a museum of human progress and human genius instead of human setbacks and human tragedies. I really enjoyed it and the next time we're in Dayton with the kids, we'll for sure be going back and maybe take a train tour of the grounds next time!

The park is beautiful with the Christmas lights and the views are awesome. Lines are fairly long on the weekend, and do buy tickets in advance...or buy a membership. It's well worth it.
Food options are standard, but there's a nice selection of adult beverages, including Glühwein/mulled wine. Lots of unique, "Dayton" gift options. The note cards made in the print shop were lovely.
All of the historical displays are open. The Carillon "tree" is breathtaking.
Go, only Scrooge or Grinch would be disappointed. And I'm sure they'd change their minds after a train ride around the park.

One of my favorite places in the city. I love hanging out watching for the Eagles who have a made their home here from several years ago. I remember when I was young my mom took my sister and I over by the river and all of these people were holding hands making a human chain together on each side of the banks. (I was so young I don't remember why. I just know it was a neat memory for me and I was happy I got to be there.) I recently went to A Carillon Christmas and had a great time! Took the train ride which was my favorite part. Took home some keepsakes from the gift shops. The bells looked beautiful and you can see it from the new train there or walk right up. Wonderful place. I'll be there looking for the Eagles on a nice day while reminiscing about all the great times I've had there.

I was born and raised near Dayton, and hadn’t visited Carillon Park since I was in 5th grade. It has expanded so much, and truly does a brilliant job at transporting its visitors back in time. I took my daughter and two friends here, and we had a blast! It helps that we all enjoy museums, art and history, and attended on a perfect Fall weekday. We spent a solid 4 hours walking around and really observing everything. The staff was wonderful and was quick to give us more insights into the history. Highly recommend for any and all ages! I definitely left having learned something new. Will gladly visit again!
We did the kidnapping room and had so much fun. The room and clues were so smart and so well played together. There was a group of 8 of us and we all were able to partake without feeling unneeded or that there were too many people in the room. Our game master, Ryan, was great and so fun to work with. Highly recommend Breakout Games and we will definitely be back to try out the other rooms!

We did the Island Escape, 3 adults, 1 teen (birthday boy), and 4 children ranging in age from 5 to 9. Austin was our Game Master and he did an awesome job. It was so much fun. We broke out in 50 minutes with minimal help and all the kids were clamoring to do another one! So much fun!

It was so fun! I do feel like they could make it a little bit easier, because it kind of felt like we would never figure the clues out. Overall, I would rate this a super fun experience! Definitely something I would come back to! -11yo daughter

Such a great time! Our game master Moss was fun, friendly and helpful. Have been several times and each different game always has unique and fun challenges. Will of course come back again until we run out of games!

Our Girl Scout Troop had so much fun doing the breakout rooms. They accommodated us with two different games and rooms for the size of our group. We had two different game masters. The group I was with had Val, who was AMAZING. We had a younger group who were very nervous, cautious, and get scared easily but she was absolutely sweet and gave us good hints or warned us when things might pop out. What was really great about Val is that she was so encouraging even though we didn't finish in the time limit. I would hands down go back again and request Val!!

It was an amazing and fun experience. I took my girlfriend out to escape from one of the rooms and we managed to do it with the two of us. It was challenging, thrilling and fun all at the same time. I recommend everyone to give it a try. The experience was even better thanks to our game master Ryan. He was able to help us when we were stuck but not give the answers away. Thank you guys for the great night!

We had a 64 yr old, a 41 yr old, 26(ish) yr old, & an 11 yr old.
We ALL had a blast, had :59 left and cannot wait to go back! We did Runaway train, everyone had something to do, nobody felt left out. Great bonding experience, don’t be afraid to ask for help, they were watching the whole time.just let us know when we were headed in right direction without actually GIVING us a significant step! Totally recommend!

My family and I LOVE breakout rooms as a way to spend quality time together. It’s always such a fun experience, and Brandon was so so kind and was silly with us when we made dumb jokes about the story line. It was interactive in the best way, and we can’t wait to come back! ☺️

This was my third or fourth time here, and have loved it every single time! We did the Wild West room and our game master was Seana. She was absolutely amazing, and the room was incredibly fun!
Went again with a different group tonight. We did the Mystery Mansion and it was also a lot of fun. Oliver was the game master this time, and did excellent as well.

i had my birthday at breakout games and it was an amazing experience like always. our game master was Megan and we loved working with her! she was able to give us hint and clues without taking out the fun of finding things out on our own. we did museum heist and i was very impressed by the different ways to solve clues, aka not everything was opening a pad lock. i love the diversity of the workers at break out games and the environment that they make. definitely want to work here when i am old enough!!

Came with my best friend and we did the Mystery Manor. We had a blast! I will definitely be coming back again. Mac was so funny and nice and his hints were easy to understand. Just the two of got so close! I recommend Breakout Games - Dayton for a fun rainy day activity! We had fun just the two of us buy a group would be hilarious!

Super fun! We had 5 adults and a 14 year old. It was fun for all of us, we did the submarine escape. The room looked very cool! Our game master Fable was great and helped us when we got super stuck at the end 😅 My only complaint would be the room was a little to warm for all of us. But I would still recommend and visit again.

We had a blast! We were celebrating our daughter’s 30th birthday! We did the Runaway Train Escape Room. Ash was AMAZING as our guide! He assisted us with a few clues, was pleasant and made it a fun experience! We finished under 50 minutes! We will be back!

If i could id rate them with more than 100 stars!! This was one of the most undoubtedly amazing experiences I've gotten to do thus far in my lifetime. We went in as a group of 5 for part of a bridal shower day of events, we all had so much fun even though there were frustrating times. I would highly recommend trying an escape room at least once in your life. The employees are great and kind as well!! I will definitely be going back to do this again, of course a different room/challenge.

Awesome escape room! We did the kidnapping and our Gamemaster Nebula was amazing! Super helpful and gave just enough of a hint to get us going without giving away the game. Super cool setup and really makes you think. 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to try their other games… they have 8 different setups I believe. Great experience!!

We had my daughters 15th birthday here with 4 of her friends. They did the kidnapping room with Brandon as their game master and did he a great job. It was a great family experience. We had a vet emergency where one of our kids was held up and wouldn't make it for our appointment time. I called and asked what our options were and they said they could hold our room until we got there due to no one booking after us. The entire family had a great time and the staff was amazing. We will definitely be going back.

Tropical-themed water park with white sand & palm trees, slides, rides, play areas & an arcade.
This is the best waterpark I've ever been to plz open it back up I especially love the big red slide

Myself and my son really enjoyed this place! I didn't find out about it until this year but wanted to explore new places with my son...the slides were great...very friendly except one employee at the food staff was super rude! Also, they do need to constantly clean up the leaves in the lazy river. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves for 2 days straight at this park! We will be going back!

Lazy river is filthy, many slides have nearly no water pressure, people get stuck on many of the slides and have to scoot down. Water is dirty in some of the pools, and the staff is very rude and doesn't seem to care about anything. We complained to the staff about all of this and no one cared. Food is bad and overpriced. The bathrooms are also disgusting. The only decent thing we experienced was the wave pool. It's a shame the park is so poorly maintained because it's such a neat location among all the trees and it used to be so nice. But it has just gone downhill. Some of the things I can easily overlook, but the lack of water pressure on the slides is really the deal breaker. And I have seen many other reviews commenting about the same issue.

Labor Day was the perfect day to go and they honored my Groupon that excluded that holiday. I really wish there were more umbrellas by the wave pool and a cleaner Lazy River.
Rose West — Google review
About half the rides were shut down because they didn't have the staff to man them. 6 of 7 ticket counters were closed, so a long line at the one open counter. Same story at the concession stands - long lines and not enough help. The rides that were open were fun, but since everyone was crowded onto the few open rides, again, long lines.
The place could be nice, but it has a tired, worn look and wasn't very clean. Not enough shade, not enough chairs or tables. I suppose they wanted us to put all of our stuff in one of their $15.00 lockers. The $10.00 parking charge was another unpleasant surprise. The rides all posted 250-pound weight limits for riders, but this was never enforced, raising questions about this establishment's safety culture.
XingjianR — Google review
This is our new favorite water park! The prices were reasonable from tickets to food. The park was extremely clean, lifeguards were attentive, and the setting was so nicely done intertwined with nature. I have a teen down to a 5yr old and they all had a blast at this park! My favorite part was that it was not busy. I am tired of paying a fortune to wait in line all day and receive poor customer service like other larger water parks. This was unforgettable and we will be back!
Megan Block — Google review
While the rides that were open were fun, there were a significant number of slides that were closed that poorly reflected the park on a day that a lot of new people would come (a carload of people for $50 after 4 pm). When all of the slides are open, I imagine that the park is much more appealing and operates a lot more smoothly especially if the park is fully staffed. If you go, don't expect for all of the slides to be open.

Great staff, friendly people, and Live Reggae on Sundays keep me coming back. Season Passes are reasonably priced..and there's beer! :-)
I've been coming for years and have made several longtime Friends as a result of my visits there.
There's a kiddie section for the little ones and plenty to do for everyone else. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Gregory Marshall — Google review
No ATM on site. Bathrooms were gross. So understaffed that half the slides were closed.
I bought a voucher online expecting to skip the line, nope. Had to stand in a 30 person line to go through ticket office for entry.
That said, my family had fun on what was available to ride. There aren't too many steps for the slides and the wait times were typically less than 10-15 minutes. The treads of the steps, however, were in heavy disrepair and will incinerate your feet if they have been in direct sunlight. We had a breezy, slightly cloudy day when we went so it was mixed bag of cool to the touch and volcanic fire.
Other than general refurbishment and limited slide availability, we would still go back and do it again.

It was a fun place to go BUT.... was VERY Disappointed when you couldn't bring in any kind of snack or drink. They only let you bring in a bottle of water. We had to go out to the parking lot to eat our snacks. In my opinion that is a CRAZY rule. They only offer pop, slushie, beer, mix drinks, tea. Which I don't drink. It was an extremely hot day and all I wanted was water. There pop cup is $10😳 X 3kids and $1 for refills. CRAZY. $20 FOR SENIORS (seriously) to get in the park. My daughter did get tickets cheaper on Groupon for her 3 girls and herself.

Opening day here and the water is full of debris. Yuck. The pearl pool is supposed to be warm and it's not. This place is showing its age. Regretting not getting a Kings Island season pass instead.
Karen DeHart — Google review
It was nice. We went today, on a nice cool Wednesday. Not busy at all. Price was great. Food was priced well. The employees were nice. The pools did have some debris but there are lots of trees for shade so it's understandable the wind would blow leaves into the pool as quickly as they were cleaning them. I would give it a higher rating but they don't have any pads or tampons for women in the bathrooms.

Kings Island is a vast amusement park with thrilling rides, including roller coasters and a wave pool. The park features a lifelike exhibit of dinosaurs that adds to the excitement. Along with restaurants, shops and novelties, Kings Island offers seasonal celebrations such as Halloween haunt and winter fest. With their 50th anniversary, they have added new attractions which makes it an exciting experience for visitors of all ages.
I've been to Kings Island several since I was young. I have always enjoyed it. There is literally a small community here of restaurants, shops and novelties. The rides are exceptional. They have even seemed to add a few new ones since my last visit. Their seasonal celebrations keep things fresh through the year. The family looks forward to their Halloween haunt and winter fest in the off season. We decided to get the gold pass this year considering it's their 50th anniversary. So far we are not disappointed. A large section of the park dedicated to the younger kids will help us get our money's worth. Especially with summer coming up we are really looking forward to the water park.

Went for Winter Fest 2022. Great experience for all ages. Amazing Christmas lights display, most of the little kids rides open, and about a dozen or so rides open for kids of all ages. There was various themed musical performance happening at almost every turn. Hot cocoa stands everywhere. They turn the fountain area into an ice skating rink ($). Lots of places to eat, and step inside to get warm. All handicap accessible.

It's a simply better version of Cedar Point. Way more relaxed. The wait times are shorter, and the rides seem to be working 90% of the time.
I will say, get the dining pass. The food is extra fantastic here. The BBQ place is excellent. On the same token, the drink pass is a great idea as well and a good value. You don't have to go far to find either a drink refill station or a eatery.
For parents with young kids, I will say this has a much better kids area than Cedar Point. Also, restroom cleanliness is pretty good for an amusement park, and the restrooms seem distributed better than other places.

King's Island is an incredible amusement park in Cincinnati! It offers a wide range of thrilling rides and attractions that cater to all ages. The park is well-maintained, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The variety of roller coasters at King's Island is impressive. From the exhilarating drops and twists of the Beast and Diamondback to the fast-paced thrills of Banshee and Mystic Timbers, there's a coaster for every thrill-seeker. The rides are well-designed and provide an unforgettable adrenaline rush.
In addition to the coasters, King's Island offers a great selection of other attractions. The water park, Soak City, is perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. The live entertainment shows are entertaining and add to the overall fun atmosphere of the park.
The dining options at King's Island are diverse and tasty. From classic amusement park fare like funnel cakes and hot dogs to more diverse options, there's something to satisfy every palate. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality and variety of food available.
One of the highlights of King's Island is the Eiffel Tower replica, which provides stunning panoramic views of the park. It's a great spot to take memorable photos and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings.
Overall, King's Island is a top-notch amusement park with thrilling rides, friendly staff, and a great selection of dining options. Whether you're a coaster enthusiast or looking for family-friendly fun, this park has it all. Highly recommended for an unforgettable day of adventure!

One of the best amusement parks in the country! Great rides and entertainment! 15 roller coasters in total! Planet Snoopy kids area is ranked among the top in the country every year. A lot of variety when it comes to eating including restaurants and food stands. Great shopping is also offered for all your souvenirs! Park is extremely clean! The staff is wonderful and will answer any and all of your questions! Plenty of parking in the massive parking lot. Definitely a must visit if you love rides and attractions! First time at King’s Island! There was always an allure to the park when I would drive past it on 71. I got to go during the Christmas Lights, so a couple rides were open but most of the big ones were shut down. Still a great time! Did bumper cars, ate some carnival food, rode the alien ride, got some great photos. A great day full of great memories. My heart will always be with Cedar Point (my first love) but I’m excited to come back to King’s Island in the summer.

I love Kings Island. This park has always been fun, but, over the last fifteen years or so, it has been transformed into a first class place. So many great coasters, including some, like Orion, Diamondback, Mystic Timbers, and Banshee, that are the best anywhere, along with classics like The Beast and The Racer, and a ton of smaller yet still fun rides, like The Bat, one of the last Arrow swinging coasters, and the Arrow mine train, Adventure Express. Combine this great coaster collection with an impressive selection of flat rides, excellent staff and operations, exclusive merchandise, local food, top notch cleanliness, a great kids area, and so many fun celebrations like Haunt and Winterfest, and you have a park that's easy to get to and easy to spend the whole day. Go there, run back to Orion for your first ride of the day (and jump back on if you can) and leave time for the train and the antique cars and a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Plus save room for blue ice cream!

Love this amusement park- both the roller coasters and Soak city. We enjoyed the rides in the morning, then Skyline chili for lunch, and went to the water park in the afternoon. Wonderful variety of tubes, body slides, two wave pools, plenty of lounge chairs too. We went in a Fri and the lines were manageable- long for some rides, not too long for others. The Beast does not disappoint! My husband and I rode the Racer back in 1998 when it went backwards, but it no longer does, so we rode it again for old times sake, still fun ride! We enjoyed the fireworks at 10pm, and had Graeters ice cream to end the night. Terrific day!

Kings Island was extremely fun! Definitely come earlier in the day to make your moneys worth because it can get pretty expensive. I loved all the rides I went on. Diamondback and Orion had huge drops that had me holding on for dear life and personally, the scariest ones for me were Flight over Fear and the Banshee. Food options over at Kings Island were also good and there was a good amount of scary and fun rides. If you want a relaxing but also thrilling ride, I definitely recommend Whitewater Canyon, it was personally one of my favorites.

This is a really nice amusement park! We have the annual gold season pass which is great. We also booked the food and drink pass which pays off by them self if you life nearby.
The roller coaster 🎢 are a lot of fun and fits from young until old 😀
The water park is also great, you’re able to spend hours 😀😀
Food: don’t expect a high class restaurant… but some of them are really good compared with the amount of food which they have to provide.
We love this park, it’s safe and great for visiting.

This place is awesome! Kings island is the third best theme park I’ve ever gone to (first is Epcot, and second is magic kingdom). I’m a chicken on coasters, and the beast, mystic timbers, and backlot stunt coaster is the best. As a Cincinnati local, it is always nice to go up to ki for a couple hours to ride the beast and leave. Worth the money every time.

Absolutely impressive!! I’m blown away by what a beautiful park this is. I’ve been to all the major parks around the country and this is in the top 3. There’s something for everyone, all ages and food galore. Fright Fest is amazing, decorated top-notch. The passes are a super good deal and includes parking which saves you $25 bucks! They also aid the disabled with more than reasonable accommodations.

This park really has some great rides now with the addition of Orion. While there I noticed that the park was kept clean and the employees I interacted with were very friendly. Another thing noticed is that there was a good amount of security personnel as well. There are also some older rides here that are a bit shaky, but I was quite surprised with mystic timbers since I last rode it in 2017 when it opened and it's still a smooth wooden coaster. I also got food here and it was quite good. Lastly the weekdays at this park are usually light so not allot of wait times.

Was delighted to see that the park that I had such wonderful childhood memories from 2 family visits had not only held up, but had exceedingly improved over the years. Highly recommend spending at least two days here if you are coming from out of town to get a chance to ride everything that you want. Great family atmosphere, and though our son is now old enough to ride all the big coasters, there is a great kiddie land for the little ones as well.

Had a great time. It had been way too long since the last time I was there. Really enjoyed the Orion and Diamond Head. We were there for a private event and then got to stay and check out the Haunt. If you enjoy Halloween and all the spooky displays and haunted houses etc. You will really enjoy Kings Island Haunt. We sure did!!!

We had a wonderful family weekend. The service by employees was outstanding. The food was just as good. All rides were operating and their Halloween haunt was set up as spectacular as always! We got fast lane passes and every dollar spent on this trip was well worth the memories! I’d like to add that my son has a cardiac pacemaker and the security did a fantastic job recognizing his ID card and knowing just what to do and not do. It hasn’t always been that way at KI and it’s obvious they are now trained well and everything went smoothly with that too!! Thank you KI for getting everything right!❤️

Winterfest 2023. Great time, they claim to have 7 million lights this year and I believe them. Many different themed branches of the park with lights on every surface. The parade was a blast for all ages and really brought out the Christmas spirit in everyone. Only downside would be the lack of rides but I was fine with not getting frostbite from the Orion.

Pretty fun amusement park, especially during Christmas time when they have the ice rink up. It is certainly Ohio based with certain features like corn and chili, but they have some awesome gluten-free options which are particularly nice. I have only gone during December, so I can’t say for sure, but both times the staff were oddly unfriendly. It’s definitely no Disney, but it is nice.

So I'm from California, where know is open 365 days a year, this place was open for a very short period of time, they were open until x12/31 and open back up 04/29 yet season passes for 5, meal plans and drinks plans plus the park plan cost me over $2000, for less than half a year of fun is not very worth it. Now i have to admit they have rides better then the ones comparable to knotts, but i could go to knows any day i want and eat and ride all i want. Plus my meal plan didn't transfer correctly and i had the platinum plan

Came for Winter fest December 2023 and what a treat!!! Bought tickets in advance and through security and ticket line with a very small wait.... What an entrance with the ice skating rink in the front/middle and lined with all sorts of pieces to eat and multiple options, then in the backdrop the Eiffel Tower draped with memorizing hundreds of feet long stands of lights, just a thing of beauty!!!! Hot chocolate options all over and sweet shops around every corner.... Great job owners and management as every single staff member we ran across ( which had to be 50+ ) was very nice and polite....roller coasters of course down for the winter but they had a bunch of rides available for the little ones to the bigger kiddos.... Can't wait to be back

Great place to shop in a outdoor mall setting without the compactness of a traditional mall layout. The open concept is great on sunny days. And has roof coverage in some areas for when it rains. Plenty of birds and people mingling together in the plazas. And also has play areas for kids and stores for people of all ages can enjoy.

Good location but the deals are few and far between. Lots of the big brand shops but the deals aren’t that great. Lots of 50% or 60% off the entire store but the regular price is so high that the discounts are negligible. You’ll have a lot of variety but finding a great deal is tough.

Didn't see a lot of great deals. Some stores seemed to have the regular price on things instead of outlet prices or sizes were limited. Lindt chocolate is always a good place to stop by and Aunt Annie's pretzels.

Nice outdoor mall for outlet shopping. Lots of parking, and the spaces are big to fit your SUV or truck. It can become a bit of a madhouse on certain days and in certain stores, so plan ahead! I would give this 5 stars but Prime Outlets are practically cookie-cutter across the US, don't really see much that makes it unique from the PO outside Chicago, for example. Masks are required in the Bubble Tea place, but others don't enforce/require.

It was busy!!!!! Between tax free weekend and back to school, there were lines to get into some of the more popular stores. But it is a great mall with just about anything you'd need! It almost seems like they need a parking garage or something because it took us a long time to get a parking spot. It could be different at different times because like I mentioned.... Plenty and varieties of premium brand names such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, Crocs, Lactose, etc that attract lots of customers, especially on the weekend. My wife took us here on a Sunday and it was jammed packed, and even the parking lots are big, still tough to find a closer parking spot, especially being handicapped like me. Lots of sales on many great products, and our kids enjoyed the shopping today. Restrooms were clean. Not an5 stars rating today because the food court selections were not good, and prices are a bit high. Highly recommend. We be back sometime soon. Thank.

Whether you're into fashion, accessories, or home goods, this outlet is a top-notch shopping destination in the Cincinnati area. Highly recommended!

Outlet stores have really changed in the last number of years. They used to be a place to get some really good deals, now they're a place where you might pay more than normal somewhere else, and extremely rare, you'll find some good deals.

Each time I go to Cincinnati, I pay a visit to the Premium Outlet along I75, but for a limited number of good shops (2 to 3 max). The rest I don't judge. Apart from the food court, that is not the sexiest I have seen

My goodness this place was so beautiful at night with all the Christmas lights. Tonight was our 1st time here. Found some good deals. They have such a huge variety of shopping. Something for everyone! We will definitely be back!
It was a short and fun experience of knowing how maple syrup is made.
Guide's were awesome with all explanations
The place also offers short walk trails.

I don't make it to CNC very often any more due to physical limitations but this place is amazing and I'm hoping it is still well hiked!! Red wing trail!! Not 5 stars because the aforementioned trail is ALWAYS muddy! Bring old shoes and you'll have a blast!

The nature preserve does not belong to Ohio Parks/ Hamilton County parks.
It is privately owned, and you pay for every single person that enters EVEN your DOG. A 4 person 1 year membership is in the realm of 100 dollars. The person who pays for the membership must be with you in order to get in. You can't give your card to someone else for them to get in. They check. Nice trails that are well taken care of, but you don't pay per car load like other parks it's by person.

Many miles of hiking trails with varying intensity, from easy to moderately difficult, mostly from elevation... Trails themselves are very well marked and maintained. Couple areas that require crossing a creek using rocks, but most crossings have a built bridge. Saw deer, butterflies, and even a hummingbird!

I've made the west to east side trek over here a few times, and always enjoyed it. We hike the many excellent trails and enjoy that they are uncrowded. When you do run into someone else, they are quite friendly. If we lived closer we would certainly have a membership. The Cincy Nature Center is a fantastic, serene getaway from everyday life. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved it.
We went on September 25 and entry was free. It’s usually 10$ per adult. It’s perfect for learning about plants if you are a student. Good way to build bond with family and just enjoy.
There is a guesthouse for all your occasions as well. And a large park for picnics. I just loved it
There was a market for artists and there is an art store you can get some cute stuff.
There is a section for kids to explore.

Went for the lights on 12/17... LOVED the atmosphere that night, walked around the grounds and the gift shop/cabin/lodge. Wonderful light display and great vibe... loved the live music, museum and appreciated the efforts to be organized and efficient. A highlight of our Christmas break!

The staff truly cares about the environment and being good stewards to inspire their guests to care about their local environment too. They have trails for all skill levels and their events are unique and absolutely amazing!!!
