Nice short easy trail from the base of the bridge. The bridge is decommissioned so you can explore without the worry of getting hit. Parking for 5-10 cars. Lots of good spots to take photos of the bridge but also don't underestimate pictures of the river along the trail

A Lovely place to enjoy a walk or a picnic near this picture is covered Bridge.

A quiet trip to the bridge was very scenic and beautiful.

Glad we could walk across, needs a sign or plaque about its history though. Love the history of these old bridges.
J&K Paints&Pixels — Google review
Pretty cool architecture for a 150 yr old bridge (1872) over the Sunday River just off the access road to the ski resort.
Andrew Barcham — Google review
It has some nice walking trails next to it.

Leaf peeping led my daughter and I here today! She is from Illinois and here for her first time. Near peak color and couldn't have asked for a better day. This is the only Maine bridge she got to see but I made sure she saw it!

A very nice historical stop with interesting architecture. Worth a visit anytime if the year. We were lucky to catch it in the fall and enjoyed our experience on a misty fall day.

Sept. 29, 2021 - Take several minutes to walk into the PAST ! This is 1 of 9 covered bridges in Maine. Most of these old wooden covered bridges were constructed more than a century ago, prior to the use of steel. Sometimes the local town decides to protect and rehab the old covered bridge? This bridge is in reasonable shape, but there’s no historic plaque?
I rate this a solid 4.5 ! Most of the old covered bridges are isolated, and “not utilized“ anymore to carry vehicles. Most folks traveling west to east between ME & NH, stop to see local colorful foliage outside North Bethel & Newry . . . this is a picturesque spot of the Sunday River, complete with a postcard covered bridge !
This Paddleford Truss bridge is 87 feet long, built in 1872, and was closed to vehicular traffic in 1958.

Always one of my favorite places to stop when driving through bethel. My grandfather brought me here as a kid and it's great to now bring my own children. Love looking for really old cravings in the bridge. Lots and lots and lots of bugs though bring extra bug spray.
Nordic skiing & slopes for all levels at a ski resort with summer hikes, biking & chairlift rides.
A fantastic place to ski with friends and family. Great mountain for all levels. Impeccably manicured, tons of trails open, fast lifts with minimal wait. Food was perfect and fast. Lots of room, inside and out to rest. The staff is amazing, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Plenty of parking with shuttles. My go to slopes only 4 hours from Rhode Island.
Mark McHugh — Google review
One of the most lavish mountains i’ve ever road. The trails were endless and the views were breathtaking. Trails were groomed perfectly and there’s parks for all levels. Would highly recommend.
Charles Bianco — Google review
Amazing resort at a very reasonable price. The had a huge variety of trails and multiple lodges. Would highly recommend whether it's your 1st time or your 100th.
Jesse High — Google review
My favorite ski mountain so far! The staff and people that go here are very welcoming and friendly. Ski patrol is constantly patrolling high peaks ensuring everyone is safe and enjoying the experience. Their terrain parks are 1A, great for all skill levels! I wouldn’t however say it’s a good mountain for beginners. Great for intermediate to expert skiers/ snowboarders. The Foggy Goggle has AMAZING burgers!
Ambar Marchena — Google review
After skiing most major resorts in the US North East Sunday River might take the cake. I was there late March but still decent snow for 50°F. The resort just keeps sprawling and you can go a day or two without hitting the same thing twice easy. Can't wait to go mid season the Glades look amazing. Highly recommend.

We love Sunday River, and always stay at the Jordan Hotel so that we can get Coffee Hound cappuccinos every morning at the Northern Lights Cafe. We LOVE this espresso. It makes our vacations here all that much better when we can have a coffee (or three) that we love. Oh, and the skiing is excellent too!
Rob Foley — Google review
Sunday River had opening day, today. All snow was machine-made. This year Sunday Rivers opening day was at the Jordan bowl area. Lalapalooza and another run were open. Jordan 8 was in operation. Skiing was not great but it was good. Machine-made snow was a bit crusty. But, still better than nothing! Go get your turns in before the rain!
Peter Hunter — Google review
We loved Sunday River. We rented equipment and that process was easy and fast. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It had been warm for a few days so it was a little icy on some of the blue runs that were ungroomed on Friday. We skied again on Sunday and they had groomed everything and the skiing was awesome. This place is so big and spread out it never got crowded. It offers a good variety of skill levels throughout the resort. With at least four lodges we never had a problem finding a place to sit while eating. The food is good but overpriced like all ski resorts. Definitely check this resort out!
Charles Grill — Google review
I loved Sunday river resort! As a beginner skier I was able to get beginner lessons while my friends could go on double diamond paths. Can get very crowded on the weekends starting as early as 8am. Highly recommend staying in one of the resort hotels.
Kavya Nagabhushan — Google review
Great l place! Plethora of fun trails for all experience levels, from a first timer to shred master. Lots of different peaks to explore and places to eat. Loved the up-keep of the place and grooming of trails. All the staff are very pleasant, cheerful and always willing to help. We will definitely be coming here next year!
Olga Kovalysheva — Google review
Love this place! Short lift lines, long, W I D E runs and Bullwinkle's really has a decent food selection. Most runs are blue and green however if you are looking for a challenge, there are blacks as well. The terrain park is well groomed with some good kickers and all the boxes. If you're looking for something you need to try out Jordan bowl! The quad that takes you to the peak is like riding in a limousine. This place is definitely five stars! 😉 🏂⛷️
Jason Kovarik — Google review
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, with a good range of trails for all levels, and modern (fast) lifts to keep lines down.
Salvatore Albano — Google review
One of the best on the east coast. Definitely #1 for lift service. They have a heated lift and another that's half lift/half gondola! It's amazing. A huge mountain, with a ton of great trails to choose from. We can't wait to come back!
Lily Hager — Google review
My new favorite ski resort.
8 peaks plenty of trails for beginners to advanced.
Beware your local blue trails are like the greens at the top of Sunday river.
Trails are wide and well groomed.
The Igloo at the base of Jordan's Bowl was a cool hangout
Sunday River is awesome
dtune — Google review
If anyone says Sunday River isn’t world class, then they haven’t been!
By far some of the best skiing/snowboarding in New England.
Every run was fantastic— so wide even the greens were fun!
Tons of trails for everyone, at every experience level.
If you’re worried about going, make the trip, you won’t regret it!
Pro tip: get your hotel and Town and Country Inn just over the line in NH. Inexpensive and only 30min away from Sunday river!
Ben Kahan — Google review
It’s a pretty big ski resort in New England. It has different levels of trails for skiers to go skiing. As a beginner, the green trails here is a little bit challenging for me because the mountain is big so the route is long and a little bit steeper. However, I will like to visit here again when I practice more skiing.
Abbey Chang — Google review
My friends and I had a good time here at Sunday River. It's truly a massive mountain and lots to do. If I were to go back I would try to stay for more than one day. The staff were friendly and the facility was clean for the most part. We did go on a more expensive weekend which made it to be $150 per person. This is definitely more than I would like to have paid since it doesn't come with a meal voucher or any discounts. I think that it's definitely not worth going at $150 each but maybe more towards $110. They did have a party going on that weekend but $18 for some redbull and vodka is too much for something that's not a club
Kevin — Google review
What is there to not love about Sunday River ? Spectacular views, great skiing .. they opened up a igloo at the bottom of Jordan .. walk in and have some drinks (which are ridiculousy over priced), techno music playing. .
Their new lifts are amazing 🤩 heated bubble chairs 🤩

We checked out screw auger falls and moose cave today. Absolutely well worth the trip just to see the falls. Photos don't do it justice. Definitely stop by moose cave if you're in the area. Just a small little half loop but still cool 😊
Nicole Stafford — Google review
Hiked the eyebrow trail; unforgettable. Fun and technically challenging hike that had our group taking in the sights, working up a sweat and enjoying the fresh mountain air.
Mackenzie Myrick — Google review
This is an absolutely gorgeous area with amazing waterfalls. The granite bolders and ledges allow you to walk right out to the water, letting you get up close and personal with the magnificence of the river and falls. This stop is worth your time and effort to get there.
Dagny Monette — Google review
Not much information (for an outsider) on what’s around and to see to help plan a visit effectively.
Moose cave was the ‘longest’ walk, interesting, good pathway with lots of wooden stairs.
Mother Falls pretty unimpressive but nice.
Screw Agnew (name may be incorrect) was the nicest with just a short walk.
Catherine Shawarby — Google review
Amazing place. So many trails, waterfalls & caves to explore & visit. Well taken care of. Clean & inviting.

Absolutely amazing place to visit any time of the year. Plenty to explore and Screw Auger Falls is such a beautiful display of the raw powers Mother Nature and Father Time possess
Paul Roe — Google review
Super beautiful, especially during the fall season. Not particularly busy this time of year, which made it even better. I'd recommend water proof shoes or boots for hiking as the ground was quite squishy, and mushy.
Kyle Green — Google review
Grafton Notch State Park is an absolutely stunning part of Maine. My family has been visiting for many years and we always enjoy our time there. The state park sits along the Bear River, and the Appalachian Trail. It is a beautiful spot for hiking, picnicking, just relaxing and Moose and Bird watching.
Danielle Brown-Marshall — Google review
Easy to get to the waterfalls. Very nice area. Handicap accessible path to the small fall. Not difficult to access if you have limited mobility. We went in the rain and the water was shallow in many areas so my daughter enjoyed walking on the rocks and dipping her feet in. Would not recommend as a swimming area in the rain but on a calm day would be nice.
Jenna Moon — Google review
beautiful park, nice outhouses, treacherous climb (looking at you eyebrow). make sure you understand what you are signing up for if you venture to eyebrow (check all trails) ... was raining the day we went, didnt really want to slide across the rock at the top.

Clean and hidden away from tourists, this is one of my favorite places to drive to. The drive out is beautiful, and the park has a nice little walking path with great water features. There's plenty of nearby hiking trails if that's more your speed.
Peter Paradis — Google review
The park is always so beautiful! Any chance you are able to visit, it is a must. Wonderful views, hikes, waterfalls, and wildlife.
Z P — Google review
(Grafton Notch/Screw Auger Falls) This is a really cool place! We didn't have any expectations, only that it's "worth a look around" by some friends. Past the walkable "slot" in the enormous boulder, there is a waterfall/pool with gorgeous variations of color in the rocks under the clear water. Then we continued down the path, which was fairly moderate with some tree roots and boulders. Lots of colorful mushrooms types to investigate, and beautiful views the entire way of the river and the gorge below us. GREAT way to spend a couple hours!
Thank you for the wonderful memories that'll last us a lifetime. I hadn't been in a decade or two however it was just as exhilarating as it was then. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny and ensured our safety throughout the entire trip.

Have rafted with these guys multiple times over the past several years, and they never disappoint! Having rafted both out west and all over New England, raft guides can sometimes be hit or miss. However, the one thing that consistently sets ELC apart from other companies is how personable and fun the guides make each trip. They are very professional and know their stuff - always felt very safe on each trip. Plus, if you have extra time, their self-guided ropes course is a blast.
Christopher Rutt — Google review
These guys are real professionals. We went on their Rapid River trip last year, and communication before the trip was excellent. They really made sure everyone in the group had a great time. We were pleased that their headquarters in Errol was close to the river and that there was little down time. We enjoyed our trip so much that we are in the process of booking another rafting trip AND a ropes course adventure with them this summer!
M L — Google review
Wow I had an absolute blast! The river has ok rapids for new people to experience it for the first time. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Our raft guide made sure we were having fun, and they provided the proper gear needed. We did the full day which included a nice little break and they fed us lunch.

GREAT!
Wife and I have gone on several trips with these guys and they're awesome! We love rafting and nothing beats northern New England. The guys at ELC are always fun!. We've tried some other outfits in the past and we felt like they didn't know the best places or were kind of sketchy safety wise but, since finding ELC, we won't call anyone else, they even organized a big group trip for us last summer with some friends and it was the best weekend of the summer, Totally recommend!
Dan Bannister — Google review
White Water Rafting at ELC was the most fun I have had in years! Jim was our guide and he was AMAZING. We expressed to him that we wanted adventure, so he made our trip down the river the roughest he could (but safe, obviously). We are already planning another trip!

Reserved for 2/12/2022 ... I had an incredible time. This is my 4th time up Mt Washington but my first time during the Winter in the snow. Absolutely epic. Our tour guide, Ron, was super knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed hearing his knowledge and stories. If your just thinking about this .... do it. It's worth it for sure.

We had Matt as our guide for the half day kayak. He was so chill and friendly. The lake was perfect for kayaking and the weather turned out great. As Matt said 10 out of 10 day. Great views, wonderful experience!

It was a amazing experience to clim the mountain in the snow with a van on tracks. So much fun. And the driver made it worth it also. Someone with knowledge to tell you history and stories. Ive been up the mountain many times during the summer. This winter ride was amazing and well worth the money

We've enjoyed cross country skiing here but this was our first time renting fat bikes to enjoy the trails. Fantastic! A great way to enjoy the gorgeous backdrop of the Whites even when mother nature isn't yet cooperating with significant snow cover.
Lisa Henderson — Google review
Everything about this trip was awesome. First, we got a snack and sat by the fireplace at the center. Everyone was really friendly. Then we got in our SnowCoach with our guide Mark (Mark was awesome). Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, weather, and wildlife. He told so many great stories. Going up was a little scary (I'm afraid of heights) but I'm glad I did it because I never knew or realized just how unique the weather is up on top of Mt. Washington. It felt like we were in another part of the world once we got up there. I actually would have liked to stay longer, but we were up there in the middle of February and, needless to say, it was pretty cold. Mark also got some great shots of us while we were up there. I felt comfortable and safe the whole time. I'm already making plans to do it again next winter.
The other thing that was nice about it is the SnowCoaches were the only vehicles on the road (no two-way traffic).

We took the Snow Coach up Mt Washington on 2/25/2022. We were excited as snow was expected and we thought that would make the trip even more fun! We were not disappointed! Rick our tour guide was fabulous! Will be back to do it again when we can go all the way to the summit
Mark Arcelaschi — Google review
Oh my goodness, we took a ride to the top and it was absolutely fabulous! The weather was perfect. Our driver was so wonderful. He gave us all kinds of information about things that I just hadn’t considered before that. It was wonderful to learn. And the views are to die…for watch out for the gusty wind because it can knock you over.😉
JP & Realtor Extraordinaire Marie Tyler Wiley (Realtor Extroidinaire!!!) — Google review
I had booked the snow coach as part of my wife's birthday gift. It was our first time taking the snow coach up Mt. Washington. We didn't know what to expect, but we heard great things about it. There was a total of 6 passengers in our van and it was very comfortable. Our drivers name was Claude and he was a wonderful guide well versed on the history of Mt. Washington. Fortunately for us the weather conditions were perfect. There was no wind and the temperatures were relatively mild for Mt. Washington. The view of the surrounding mountain peaks and the valley below were breathtaking. If you are in the area I would strongly recommend taking a ride up on Mt. Washington aboard the snow coach.
Joseph Dussi — Google review
My husband and I took the Mt Washington SnowCoach tour and we're so incredibly happy we did. Although we have visited other parts of Mt Washington this is our first time up the auto road and will definitely be back! Our tour guide, Pete was so knowledgeable with the history and very accommodating that he made the trip that much more enjoyable. The weather was your typical Mt Washington winter weather (snowy & windy) which we expected so the views were a bit blurred but still stunning! We enjoyed every minute of our tour, from the ride up to fresh air with fresh snow and feeling like your in a real live snow globe & the ride down, the entire experience was simply magical!
Even the gift shop at the center was great with such nice gifts for purchase and the entire staff was so friendly and nice.
I highly recommend adding this adventure to your NH trip as you will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back & look forward to it!

Paul and Shannon were the Saturday morning stars at the Outfitters Shop. Their humor and expertise are under appreciated as they helped me get my stored-too-long bindings working on my cross country skiis. My pal and I were among the few who ventured out during the morning showers to ski in the valley. I just couldn't get my boots to lock into the bindings. Paul listened (without laughing) to the machinations I tried. Shannon picked up a ski and actually made one quick tug and got the binding to function perfectly. The pair made my morning so I could set off with confidence and ski to the end of the rainbow. Thank you Paul and Shannon.

Google directions takes you to the right spot. Highly recommend parking your car at one of the stop spots at least half way down Garfield Falls Road. It is pretty bumpy, but trucks and suvs can certainly make it to the trail head. Once you see the sign for the Falls it helpfully tells you “you are here, go left down this hill to the falls”, and it’s right! Short, but steep hike. Great scenery. Well worth it

The Mont Mégantic AstroLab is a nice place to visit. A small exposition of the history of how the universe has captivated mankind is interesting. Many little descriptive explanations on posters, a small flir camera, deforming mirors to explain telescopes, etc. The show that was presented afterwards on the big screen was captivating and beautifully rendered. I absolutely loved it. However, I wished they would have shown actual images taken by the Mont Mégantic observatory; that was a little dissappointing. After the presentation, an astrophysicist came outside to show us the sky and give us details about stars and the Neowise comet. So a good advice is to book your reservation in the evening. 😉
Bruno Gallichand — Google review
Knowledgeable staff, the tour includes a presentation about the Astrolab and the works they contribute to. Depending on the weather condition you get to view different stars and planets (in our case Jupiter and Saturn) with three 1.6m telescopes.
Edit:
We ended up going another time and this was around when it was a new moon. There were a few hours of clear skies throughout the night and the view was breathtaking. It was the perfect condition for stargazing, I added some picture that taken on the phone.

Fantastic visits!!! The first day we did all the activities (including building a soda bottle rocket). Went back the next day for the Persédies shooting star showers. All movies and presentations were in French.
The staff is VERY friendly, knowledgeable and excited about sharing their knowledge.

Wheelchair accessible but no handicap push button. Accessible/Family washroom is large but not huge.
Expect lots of reading and some hands on play. Very interesting demonstrations on plasma, meteors,

cam visit with kids. The show at the end was good. But I think it is better to spend more time at the top near the observatory . Definitely opt for a show at night (if you are going to anyway) then watch the stars in the sky at night. They have benches and camping sites where you can relax and enjoy the view

Every family should go at least once especially with your children. The park is clean the staff is friendly and there is a lot to see and do even though by today's standards it's a smaller park. The pizza and ice cream we had was great but the real food star was the mini donuts, which were eaten before I even thought to take a picture. On a hot day the newly expanded water park was great and even though it was busy it didn't feel crowded. Overall I highly recommend going. Fun for all ages. And Christmas lovers.

Went today for a birthday party and as cold as it was it was amazing. The kids were able to get a gingerbread man/woman and decorate it, they were able to ride all the rides but no water. My youngest was just barely tall enough to do all the rides which was amazing she was so happy to be able to ride everything. She loved to drive the cars, the log ride, Himalaya, the chimney etc. The food was amazing and my friend was able to rent a cabana for her daughters birthday party and we were able to have alone time. The only downfall of your planning a big party at the cabana is make sure you have a lot of help bringing things in as they won't allow you to park next to the cabana gate to just bring in gift ....plan ahead.(oh ya and the flowers are beautiful)

Just wow! We visited Santa’s Village during one of their June promotions, where all of the food and concessions were included in your ticket entrance price. I don’t think I need to tell any parents how amazing that is when you have three kids under the age of 11 the weather was a little bit chilly, but overall pleasant all of the rides in the amusement park I really geared towards the younger crowd of under 14 years old. They have a great variety ranging from small roller coasters to very slow kids rides that my four year-old was able to handle with no problem or fear at all. All the rides are based on height and both my nine and 10 year old were able to ride on all the rides, I believe the minimum requirement for the largest ride was around 48 inches tall. The facility itself is absolutely gorgeous. They made sure to keep as many natural trees up while they built the park. The buildings are very clean and the entire park is very well kept and tidy. The staff was super friendly and always there to help you with a smile whenever you needed it I highly recommend when you go there to immediately go to the elf workshop to get your kids their badge there are ticket punching elves located throughout the amusement park, and if your child is able to punch all of or most of the holes, they will be able to turn it in for a certificate of completion and a keychain at the end. It also serves as a very good way to get your kids to move along in the park as they search for these elves. We go to New Hampshire every year around the same time and I can’t imagine us not making Santas village a regular place to visit until my kids get to the point where they feel. The rides are a little too young for them.

This November we visited Santa's Village in NH for the second time and it did not disappoint! The park is well-maintained and is staffed by some of the kindest people you will meet! We have two children with special needs and we found the park easy to navigate, full of age-appropriate rides, and it is not over-stimulating which is always a concern of ours. It's hard to not get excited about the holidays when you visit! We had so much fun that we stayed from the time it opened until the time it closed. The only suggestion I would offer is more vegan and vegetarian food options and more coffee stands for tired parents! We will be back!

We brought our five year old here for her birthday and it was perfect. She was able to ride almost everything. The lines weren't overly terrible. The staff was super nice and friendly. We have been home for two weeks and she is still telling strangers all about our trip!
They have a alphabet scavenger hunt that kids can stamp a card and she loved doing that on her own. They have swing play areas through out that helped break up standing in lines. The water park has a lot of options for all ages and was a lot of fun.

I've heard about this place for years but wow, such a great time! Park is immaculate. Staff is fantastic. We went beginning of October and it was perfect, hardly any lines and the foliage was awesome.
My kids are 3 and 6 and both could go on every ride. The rides are fun even for adults and we spent a full day to go on everything.
Thanks to the park for creating a memory I'll keep forever.
FYI. Best rides are the sledding ride and log flume. Being the 1st of October I thought I'd be drenched and freezing on the flume ride but only a little splash. I couldn't have asked for a better day. It was about 60° out.

Santa's Village is one of those bucket-list places you have to experience with your child before TikTok bereave their innocence. The first thing I noticed is that the grounds are kept exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The majority of rides are for the smaller ones, but there are a handful of rides that you or your teenagers will also enjoy. Overall, it is a fun experience that you and yours will never forget.

They nailed it! Family fun is what they promote and it really was enjoyable. FANTASTIC STAFF! I think the pricing from start to finish was reasonable and there was a lot of enjoyable activities. The food was good and the rides were on point. Lots of photo ops. I hope this place is in business for a very long time - it feels like a family tradition!

We had a great day at their Christmastime event. The staff was so friendly and everything was open, well besides the water park since it is winter. Snowed all day beautifully and yet the grounds crew kept up good work of keeping everything from being slippery. Proud to recommend going there!

One of our favorite places to take the kids, the park is laid out well with lots interactive Christmas themes. Always a small crowd and low wait times for attractions. The water park is a huge plus if your there in a hot day, it’s been expanded since the last time we were there. The water is not heated, so expect to be refreshed! We’ll be back again.

My family enjoyed this amusement Park more than we’d anticipated we would! We found it very well run: well staffed by friendly, trained individuals, short lines, efficient and reasonably priced dining and gift options.
We visited on my son’s birthday. Read on their site that they give kids a ‘gift’ on their birthdays, so I filled out the form two days in advance of our visit, and my son was given a personalized sticker at a shop when we arrived as well as a gift bag containing a personalized ornament when we visited with Santa. Such a lovely gesture from the park!

An incredibly fun, full day family experience! We arrived right when the park opened and stayed until 15 mins to close. It was pretty busy, almost too busy, but there always seemed to be shade to rest in or a picnic table to eat at. Some rides had super short lines, others were pretty long - so you have to weigh your options. Our toddler was able to ride most rides comfortably with an adult. The Elf University's punch card was a great, interactive seek-and-find activity as we made our way through the park. Everything was clean and well landscaped - I didn't even realize the penguins were trash cans until halfway through the day. Like most other families we used the water park at the end of the day to cool off and relax. I appreciated the free parking, complimentary strollers (for tired toddler legs, and the option to bring in your own food and drinks. We'd come back!

This is a great family place in the White Mountains. There is so much attention to detail here for Christmas. Everywhere you look, there are beautiful lights that shine in the cold night air. The park is so clean from the grounds to the bathrooms. The rides are great for children and many for adults also. Santa, of course, was in high demand in December and is so real looking. There are real raindeer in the Raindeer barn.
There is a new roller coaster opening next year being built. While viewing the large lights show musical tree (This is a must-see at night), we could see the waterpark which was closed. We will plan for a summertime visit as it looks supper fun. Everyone was having a great time, and smiles were everywhere.

Absolutely far exceeded our expectations!! My son is 10 and daughter is 8 and they liked it better than Disney!! They were able to go on many rides several times. Staff was amazing, kind and helpful!! Park is clean and kept up to date and it was wonderful to experience some of the things I did as a child 40 years ago, like the antique cars.

Went on a weekday when the forecast was calling for heavy rain all day—it didn’t rain til we were ready to leave around 4pm. I have young children and they were able to go on nearly every ride. Sweet and small with Christmas music playing throughout the park. My preschooler loved the Elf University (visit as soon as you enter) where you receive a punch card and punch out letters of the alphabet at different Elves throughout the park (this seemed to keep older kids engaged as well). We weren’t prepared for the water park area but it was very clean and fun on a hot day. All of the ride attendants were older and seemed like they had worked there for years. Everyone was super friendly and the park had pretty flowers and cute little shops throughout the park. Lots of picnic tables so visitors could bring their own lunches etc. If you have upper elementary children or children who like high thrill rides, this is not the park for you. If you love Christmas then dress up in your holiday duds and enjoy a sweet day of simple fun with your family.

I have loved this place for my entire life. I took my son there when he was younger, and we still visit now. Beautifully maintained throughout the years, with a lovely and welcoming staff each and every time we visit. I have been impressed with the improvements and additions over the years. Every time I visit, I am impressed like it is my fist visit all over again. This place is great for young and old alike. There are rides that have height requirements, so I would encourage looking at the website for more information. All this said, it is ALWAYS worth the time and money to visit. This is my all time favorite place to visit, and it has been for decades, literally.

The family and I had gone up to the white mountains in New Hampshire for vacation, and during our time, we paid a stop to Santa's Village. This place holds a special spot in the childhood of my girlfriend and I, and so we wanted to have the kids experience it as well. Getting in was easy. Ticket prices were more than affordable, and there was more than enough parking. There were plenty of staff on hand to accommodate the crowd, which wasn't bad at all. I recommend getting there in the morning as well as purchasing tickets in advance. The rides and food options were great, and the park was clean and well kept. There were a few rides that had wait times that looked to be caused by the way they were managed as opposed to having large crowds, but all in all, we had a great time and will definitely go back.

Been here a few times. Kids are approaching 3 and 4th grade so we are aging out. Park is very clean and well run. Pizza is excellent. Big water slides were closed at the water park due to an unfortunate structure related issue, which was a disappointment but I get it. Flume also closed while we were in line due to a switch issue which also was bad. But overall it’s a good time.
One thing I noticed was that the park cleared out as the afternoon went on (we rolled in with everyone else at 9. ) So we did a lot more rides on the PM side and hit the water park on the earlier side.
This is the last year of one of their roller coasters. Also pizza is great. Great all around. The NH State Police Trooper doing the detail outside is awesome and was very friendly to the kids crossing.

Great family park, a very happy place! They did many improvements and additions over the years. Added the water park and improved the Great Humbug Adventure. (I got 238,000 points and was so proud of myself, until I found out the record is over 700,000 🤯😂).
The boat ride and a couple small rollercoasters are great and just a right level for me and those who are afraid of big falls and crazy rollercoasters, but still want to experience it.
The ticket price is very reasonable, also keep in mind that they can be purchased only online.
You don't need to pay anything extra for any ride or the water park once you are admitted to the park.
The food is very good! I highly recommend to try pizza, it is always great there!
All photos from July 2023. Around 3 pm many people with little kids left and we had the park to ourselves 😅
We just love coming back, even the kids are all grown up now. Actually, the kids ask to go back. 🤭
We all (the grown up kids and adults) participated in the Elf University, which gives you a task to find all 26 letters of the alphabet and to punch holes through your personal card. If you complete it, you get your personal Diploma and a prize (a cute key chain). We do it each time, so much fun.
Highly recommend for all! 🤩👍
Took the Gorge trail. Easy trail and full of history! Everything was worth the read, honestly! At the end of the trail, we had some local coaticook ice cream cones.
They even have a cave, keep an eye out 👁

This place is convenient if you can use a collapsible stroller, the ticket office is not recommended for both strollers and wagons, you can rent a baby carrier from the ticket office, but this is not very friendly to larger toddlers. The natural scenery along the way says it all, the road is relatively flat and good for walking, and the suspension bridge is stunning, worthy of being the longest suspension footbridge in the world.
Kevin Lee — Google review
It is a beautiful park, I did the longest walk and it took me about 2 hours, allow yourself when you are near the river to bathe your feet, it is an incredibly necessary recharge of energy, it is strongly recommended to go, do not forget to always be respectful of nature.
ALEJANDRO GUILLEN — Google review
Loved visiting this park. Nice hiking trails. Loved the view of the area from the suspension bridge. Beautiful place to visit.
Jodi Lewis — Google review
Beautiful and varied hike. The Gorge trail includes the suspension bridge, a path along the river, and trails in the trees. Will definitely hike here again.
Charlie Butler — Google review
It's worth it. It's only an hour drive for me so if you need to drive farther stay as long as you can to see everything. We went forth bridge which is amazing!!
Britt Moore — Google review
Generally just a great place. Multiple trails, attractions, and even activities. There is a fair bit more than just the suspension bridge here, such as a cave and a lookout tower.
Tickets are fairly cheap (8$ for adults and less for children) and can be bought on-site. They're good for the entirety of the day so you can feel free to leave and come back as you please.
Dogs are permitted, you can have lunch here, there are bathrooms, water fountains, and even a gift shop.
If, after taking the Gorge trail, you still feel like hiking, there are three other trails accessible as well, through the second reception at the camping.
Demitri Desindes — Google review
Nice walk and aside from the bridge, there is a tower to enjoy a beautiful 360 degree view. Entrance fee is 10$ per person. Parking is free.
Liliana Chung — Google review
A good value for the $ but....
I would like to see better signage. There are lots of trail signs but they all leave you wondering if you are actually heading in the right direction. There are maps here and there but several don't show you where you are on the map. We took a wrong turn somewhere and had a heck of a time finding our way back. I'm an advanced hiker and these are gravel paths so I'm not hiking beyond my ability.
Also, when you get to the lighted section there are bare wires in a couple of different spots. I'm not sure if they are live or not but looks sloppy.
As a positive, the area was nice and tidy and the campground looked very nice and was reasonably priced and we would definately recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Scott Fillmore — Google review
Great service, super beautiful! Not a hard hike, more of a walk through. Great experience.
There are 2 activities here. Daytime hiking and at the same exact spot, nighttime lightshow on the trail. Foresta lumina. Night show you don't go as far. Only an hour long. Day you have the full 3.5 km gorge trail and more if you like.
There's a lot more to see than just the bridge. And history to read along the way. There's even a cave you can walk into and a high lookout tower.
You can decide how long you want to walk for as well. Normally it's 3.5 klm. to see everything by the dam.
Tickets can be bought online or right on site. For daytime it's quicker to just buy at the place. Good for all day. And all the trails.
The bridge doesn't move much at all. Maybe if you get someone jumping around a lot.
Also, you can bring your dog if it's on a leash!
And I wouldn't recommend strollers. 3 places with a lot of stairs but people do do it, however not alone!
Also, free to anyone who lives in the area!
Otherwise 8$ adults, 4.75$ first kid (4 to 15) and $3 ea additional child.

Amazing and definitely worth coming when night falls! We did a day trip in Park Gorge and came back around 9pm for Foresta Lumina. It was a whole other experience walking these same paths at night. Experience was good, and one should visit. If you are planning and thinking if it is worth or not. Then do not doubt as I traveled from ontario to Quebec just to visit this place and it was worth it.
Best will be spending day and exploring the area around like Laiterie de Coaticook ltée
Hike is not so stroller friendly if you are planning with babies, so think accordingly

MUST VISIT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. In awe! as to how they converted a simple trail into something this beautiful. The whole trail is illuminated. Its like a live story telling experience. so many elements to interact with. the river in between, the Bridge, the fireflies.. wonderful experience. The whole walk takes about 1-1.5hrs depending up the time time you want to spend at each exhibit. Photos done do justice. You have to experience it. book ticket in advance and show up on time. there is a huge line up. Parking available. Visited at 11:30pm it was so worth it: time and money

One word to describe it: AMAZING!
The concept is very unique to what I've seen so far. The decorations and music along with the theme (especially when a natural mist covers the forest) create a truly magical ambiance! I felt like walking through a fairy tale and felt like a child :)
Vlad M'itscool — Google review
Honestly it was worth it. The walk isn’t to long. The presentation and show is amazing. I did wish it was longer but i had small kids and two people with health issues with me. Amazing idea I’m very excited to return this year. Also affordable.

It's magical! Fun for kids or even a first date! Lots to see! Great music and light shows.
You walk through the woods for about an hour. 2.6 km.
Also over the 559 foot long bridge! Super nice! It really doesn't move much at all, a guide makes sure no one starts jumping before you get on. You don't see how high you are because it's dark.
The lights work along with the music. Short videos too.
Line ups are not at ALL what the used to be because of covid. 30 people at a time.
Also, no guidance needed. You're free to roam and take your time.
Not much of a hike, more a walk.
Exit through the boutique in the end.

Super friendly staff. The owners make a point to greet you and chat with you. Heidi was super cute with her jokes. This is a family owned biz and I love their story of how they began their operations by helping the pilgrims who are on their way to the shrine. That why the name. Owners described the wine making process. You get to taste 4 types of wines in 16 bucks. Parking available. Now I know why it is the # 2 spot on things to do in Sherbrooke

Lake Willoughby is a picturesque body of water located 30 miles north of St Johnsbury, surrounded by mountains and trees. The lake resembles a fjord and offers activities such as fishing, diving, hiking, and multiple beaches for visitors to enjoy. Well maintained Sandy beach. I brought my paddle board and it was beautiful! We also had a rainy day but still beautiful.

There are two reasons I would not recommend this otherwise beautiful lake, the first being the ubiquitous number of extremely loud motorcycles that ride along the lake road all day long. For some reason motorcyclists think the louder they are the safer they are, which is nonsense, because their noise goes behind them due to the Doppler effect.
The second reason I would not recommend this lake is the complete lack of bicycle lanes and pedestrian lanes on the lake road. Once you leave your cottage you cannot go anywhere if you are not in a motor vehicle. There is not even a shoulder on Rte. 5a for people to walk or jog on.

Overpriced, overhyped, typical trap. Plenty of free parking, well organized. Products sold a bit on the fake side, regular chemicals infused with lavender. Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises is a nature reserve with diverse ecosystems and pathways, as well as an educational center that provides exhibits and programs. The area offers a tranquil atmosphere and picturesque scenery to visitors. Wildlife including snakes, butterflies, dragonflies, and flowers can be seen along the trails. It is advised to bring mosquito repellent due to the prevalence of mosquitoes in the area. The hiking trails are suitable for families with small children as they are flat and engaging for kids.

Mont-Orford ski resort is nestled in a picturesque mountain offering an array of activities including skiing, snowboarding, hiking and golfing. The trails cater to families with minimum slopes on green trails ensuring snowboarders do not get stuck on flat areas. Scenic views await visitors who follow the 4km trail which initially starts narrow before opening up. Facilities include lodging, dining options at the chalet and cafeteria with plastic divider tables for safety protocols.
Perhaps Quebec's best 9am-4pm "affordable" ski mountain although I wish they added more detachable chairlifts.
Track layouts are great, difficulties are accurately represented although it could be considered on the higher side of each category (a green could be somewhat blue-ish at times). One thing is for certain, if you can ski that mountain well, you can probably ski well anywhere else in Quebec. Snow quality is quite high. The view upthere is breathtaking.
Foodwise, I'd say the pub is a great place to dine in and rest from the sport, but the cafeteria is outrageously expensive for the low-quality of top-up food found there. It's best you bring your own lunch and spend the time on the slopes.
Yannick Khong — Google review
Beautiful mountain with family friendly trails. The 4km trail has scenic views but starts very narrow for a good section before opening up. The green trails have good minimum slope so snowboarders don't get stuck when too flat. The chalet and cafeteria were open for sit in and eating inside, tables have plastic divider. The main lift and gondola are sharing but and wasn't too long the wait. Overall we had a very nice experience there. One thing to improve is the ticket retrieval system which they don't have a self print booth so you'd have to lineup even if you bought online tickets.

A nice ski resort with 3 mountains, the tallest Mt. Orford at 850M. On cloudy winter days, ride inside the gondola and you'll feel like you're traveling into the clouds. Yes it's pretty high. It's not as high as some ski resorts, however it's not bad either. It's still a fairly good ski resort if all the lifts and runs are opened. This resort doesn't offer night skiing at time of writing - which isn't a big deal IMO as can get very cold when the sun's down. Lifts close quarter to 4pm. Which may be a bit early for those looking for a longer day. Though on the flip side, you'll have time for showering and going out for dinner.
The base lodge is nice and well laid out. There's a cafeteria, cafe shop and restaurant/bar in the lodge. There are some benches throughout for those who need a rest.
If you get a multi day pass, it offers tremendous value at about $40 per lift ticket.
What's painful is that each day, they require you to get a new lift ticket despite the fact, they give you a multi day card. They should be able to just scan the card without having to line up again for the lift ticket.
What's unique about this resort is that they have a tunnel like enclosed magic carpet. Very nice for the beginners.
On regular lifts they have a moving platform just past the gates. This helps prevent skiers from falling and makes getting on the lift easier.
Overall, a good ski resort with a decent run lengthy. While suitable for all levels of difficulty, I think it's better for those in the intermediate levels.

Be aware, if you buy tickets with maneige, be ready to do a big line and lost 30 minutes. Its 2024, you buy tickets online to same time and its the opposite. They dont even have machine so you can get your tickets without seeing customer service. Only 4 employees to serve 100person +

Excellent destination to enjoy a day of Autumn foliage. At 2800 feet, there is a birds eye view on the coniferous zone , Christmas tree near the peak and changes into deciduous forest of different colors. It happened to be a day after heavy rain, it is still very enjoyable to see fogs disappeared into partially cloudy weather. Imagine if it is a totally sunny day.

Beautiful mountain !
Great for all levels.
Loved the 4km slope that takes you all around the mountain so you can slowly enjoy the views.
Would recommend for group of friends and for families !
There is a gondola too which was pretty cool

Great runs and lifts are operated very efficiently. Great weekend of skiing.

Beautiful visit during the fall! It costs you $20 to go up the chair lift or gondola (your choice), and at the top of the mountains there are so many amazing views. The hill is well kept with lots of food options and activities on site.

I personally like Mont -Orford over Owl's head. It's a little higher than Owl's Head and I found the conditions better at Mont-Orford.

Brutal ticket system, this is literally the worse ticket system I've ever experienced. Orford, fix this garbage. Spend thirty minutes in line after the system won't print your card

Autumn trip to see beautiful surroundings, countryside covered with low clouds and colourful trees. Even though I visited the place during the probably last autumn weekend with sunny weather and the parking lot was crowded, it was not noticeable at the top of the Mont Orford. Skiing here must be even better.

Thank you to Mount Ordord for putting up with us eclipse watchers! We brought our own food, used all your toilet paper and you didn't even charge us for parking. I promise to come back as a real tourist one day and actually spend money! Cheers.

A working Benedictine abbey with bold interiors & tours covering monastic life, plus apple picking.
Beautiful site to visit. Pretty scenery, unique architecture. The gift shop is a must! Amazing cheeses made on site and much more to discover. Definitely worth a visit!

A very modern interior with veritgo inducing post-modern tile work.
But the real reason most visitors come here is the Boutique in the basement with a dizzing array food and amazing cheeses.

There's a gift shop here to buy cheeses and jellies. It's a lovely, charming, old and sturdy Abbey. But you can't go see most of the monastery as it is closed to visitors. But the setting with mountains in the backdrop are awe inspiring. The setting is very peaceful

Amazing place! Wonderful picturesque landscapes. Interesting story. Extraordinary architecture. But I really liked the store with a large selection of cheeses, jams, sauces produced in the abbey. And very tasty apples! We returned home with a big bag of different delicious things.

I loved this monastery and the attached boutique. The church is so beautiful and yet simple. The whole experience is very calming and a wonderful sanctum. The staff at the boutique are very warm and friendly and look for ways to educate you about the bargains.

Lots of parking.
Their products are fantastic!!
Be very quiet when you go, sometimes they are in prayer.
Close to Magog.
Free to visit.
It is beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful space. The atmosphere is restful and welcoming. The gift shop is full of delicious food made by the monks themselves. I'm so glad I stopped in to pray and meditate!

Beautiful quiet place full of serenity. Was disappointed à I was not able to visit the Cheese factory I guess it’s not the season. Bought stuff at the boutique and a visit worthwhile. Didn’t have to buy any tickets

Beautiful spot, inside is interesting - but we only saw church and gift shop. Church is modern and hallway up to it is old and tiled in a beautiful pattern, nice contrast.
We bought cheese (theirs - delish) and crackers and sat at picnic tables provided - many others bought cheese and had beverages and add ins of their own. Really relaxing and peaceful under the trees.

Beautiful and special place! If looking for relaxing, prayer, spiritual retreat, or just a Mass, worth passing by...
Titian Costea — Google review
Unique place to visit! It was very crowded because of apple picking season. Unfortunately you can only tour one hallway and the chapel and you don’t get to learn about the cheese making or apple cider or too much about the monks. It would be great if you could sample the cheeses or get more information.
I still think it’s very cool that they have set up these businesses and have become so successful at it! It’s not everyday you come across an abbey with award winning cheese maker monks.

Start point for a long family walking tour.
I thought I would see a traditional local cheese workshop but I saw the cheese in the boutique, store of the church.
Perhaps the church will be interesting if I attend the programs or there is a guide to present the building and the instrument.

We were passing through the Lake Memphramagog area and decided to take a side trip to visit the Abbey. It is nestled in the woods about 20 minutes south of Magog on the west side of the lake.
There is a large Church to visit (which is nice but not spectacular designed in a late 20th century style) and surround business operations that make cheese, apple products and cider. There is a self guided audio tour ($9 for tour) which takes about 20-30 minutes. Best of a all is the underground shop that offers a number of products produced by the Abbey from cheeses, to ciders, to apple sauce, and the like.
On the grounds is a very small chapel build by hand by the monks in the 1940's as well as hiking and picnic grounds. Overall it was a nice place to visit and spend some quiet time on a nice day...please the shop was a bonus. Enjoy!
NOTE: There is a Gregorian Chant concert which we did not attend but did occur while we were visiting. It appeared popular...check the website for details.

Very nice museum about J.A. Bombardier and all the stuff he designed and invented. The museum is very modern and interesting. My son didn’t want to leave the C-Series flight simulator. The 2 videos about Bombardier are very well done and probably one of the best “immersive” videos I’ve seen in any museum. Yes, it’s a little out of the way and there’s not much else to do around there, but well worth the visit.

Very interesting museum!! It was a unique experience, the history of a man who changed the life of a thousand people, including me, as former employe of Bombardier México, you must reserve on line, you can choose the day and hour of your visit

A hidden gem of a museum... my children never stopped talking about the experience. Bombardier didn't cheap out designing this space, it's fantastic. If you are driving to Canada along the eastern side of Vermont, it's well worth diverting some to visit this unique, single focus museum.

Amazing place, great history, very interesting. I brought friends over with 13 years old kids. Let's go to a museum! Not much reaction. But once we were there, they have so many interactive stations that when i said let's go home, i only managed to convince the kids to go after 45 minutes, they didn't want to leave!
Manuel Morin — Google review
Very cool museum. I came as part of a bus tour. We didn't have the luxury to slowly browse around because of the tight schedule. There were also 2 other groups of kids that arrived behind us, so they coordinated it such that we would move to another section to clear space for another group. It was well organized though I wish I had more time to walk around, to read and to try more interactive elements. There are a few great photo opportunities: hold the Olympic torch, drive the TTC street car. I also really enjoy the section on different innovations by other Canadians. It's super interesting. So it's not just about snowmobile, cars and planes. All the displays are bilingual in both French and English.

Ideal for skiing, this mountainside resort also offers eateries, an indoor waterpark & golf course.
Great overall resort. Great mountain, great lodging, and great waterpark. Restaurants were also good. Great family resort with many off-hill activities to do for non-skiers. Lots of easy greens on the lower half of mountain with some great beginner glades. Nice blue cruisers and challenging blacks from the top. Best glades in the East. Friendly staff.

It's a beautiful resort. My oldest kid and I enjoy our stay at Tram Haus Lodge, our room #415, and view the Valley Mountain. We did skiing and water park. There are no issues during our stay. Definitely will come back! Thank you, Jay Peak, for your wonderful hospitality.

Good experience overall.
The Spa was great and good folks there, the foundry fish fry was stellar. Our kids really enjoyed themselves too...that was most important. Our room was small but had a kitchenette with utensils, pans, dish clothes, microwave and small fridge. It was comfortable, though I wish the chairs at the dining table had soft seats. :)
The staff at the front desk were all cool folks, same at the arcade, and all staff were very friendly and welcoming. I loved the quiet location and balcony outside our room.
Events seemed to be over by 6pm most nights. I wished the Provision store opened later. Those were the only two issues I had, though the kids had full and fun days.

The service was not consistent. Some staff are friendlier than others. The shuttle service and drivers are wonderful. No one is ever left behind. The water park is small, but the kids lived it. It's a beautiful location.

The resort is very nice, we stayed in the Jay peak hotel, it's awesome to ski on ski off. And every room had a locker for skis and boots so you don't have to keep everything in your room. Conditions were great but bitter cold the days we were there. Staff was exceptional, super personable, friendly and informative. Trails are nice, groomed well and the view s are amazing! Restaurants/ bars have a simple menu, sort of something for every one but not extensive. Prices were a little high but you can eat right there don't have to travel anywhere to restaurants. So it's a convenience thing. I just wish our room had at least a mini fridge to keep beer or water cold. Family oriented, would definitely return!

Just went skiing there. The folks at customer service were super friendly and informative. I really cannot rate the rest of the resort since I didn't have a chance to experience it. What I saw looked nice.... certainly a place that we would consider staying for a future vacation.

First time taking the gondola to the summit, and it was pretty cool. I stopped here while staying the weekend with family, and I wanted to take the gondola to the summit. I did call ahead to be sure I could, since I do not ski myself, and it was no problem.
The staff near the parking were very helpful with giving me directions on where to go, and I was able to get a ticket for $25. Worth it in my opinion.
The views from the top were amazing, such a cool place. You could see washington almost 80 miles away.
Because I wasn't skiing, I had the lift to myself upon decent. I was able to talk with the operator on the way down, pretty cool guy. All the staff was friendly and really seemed to enjoy their job.
Will be back this summer.

Room size and offerings were great. Room had tall ceilings but ceilings were a little dirty looking. Fun family place to be. There are a few other family resorts to consider next time but the deal here was fairly good to try. Would consider this place as part of annual family trip.

Had a good time, my 8yr old loved the water park. It was very clean and we had a great time. My only complaint was we went on a Sunday and the water park hrs are 10a-2p on Sundays and you still pay full price which I was extremely disappointed about. Very nice hotel, beautiful rooms. A downfall is its in the middle of no where so if your car breaks down you better hope it's in an area with phone service and pray for the best.

Best ski resort east of the Mississippi. The trail network is interconnected which makes it easy to experience 5+ different runs going up the same chairlift. And that's not even considering glades/off trail shortcuts.
Also located in a great ski-town area. You won't find any big box stores around the corner but the local shops/general store provide all of the needs.

Best skiing on the East Coast!
Even late in the season we had snow almost every day, trails were all well marked and groomed where appropriate. Kids loved the terrain parks. Ski lifts are in DESPERATE need of updating both for capacity and comfort. Staff were all great, very helpful and friendly. Parking was a bit tight on busy days unless you get there EARLY. Lodges were fantastic, food and drinks were good and bathrooms were clean. We'll definitely be back!

Jay Peak is one of the best places for skiing and snowboarding on the east coast. The location in northern Vermont means it will often have better snow than locations further south, and it’s status as an independent resort means you will have shorter lines and better prices.
There are a great variety of runs here, from a large beginner to lots of steep glades to a big terrain park. I love woods runs, and Jay Peak had a ton of different areas where you could duck in and out of the trees. I want to go back here and explore some more because there’s more than you can get to in just one day.
We went on a bluebird Saturday, and while there were a lot of people there, we could still get a lot of great runs in. I imagine on a weekday this place would be ideal.
When you take the tram up, turn to the left after you get off. There is a little stair case heading up to the peak. You are able to stand on the actual top of the mountain, with every direction around you being downhill, and you are at the highest point you can see in every direction. It’s a really cool experience that you don’t get at other ski hills.
It can get icy in some spots especially if it’s windy or later in the day, but if you’re skiing the east you are used to that. In the trees you are less likely to have that problem.
Go to Jay Peak, it’s great!
Trent Hibbard — Google review
Enjoy a tram ride up to the top of the mountain and check out an awe inspiring view. Have yet to delve into the new amenities offered such as the water park, ice rink, musical acts, but planning a trip back for a longer stay. Laid back familial vibe, classic Vermont ski area with so much to offer.

It was beautiful and the water park was clean and so much fun. However, the service at the hotel was not the best. Many of the food options were closed when we were there which made it hard to find a good and affordable meal for our kids, especially for breakfast. The water park package was tricky as you get two days for two nights at the hotel but you don’t get it for the day you get there and the water park didn’t open until noon but we had to check out by 10 so waiting around for 2 hours in the car was not an option.

I went to the resort with my two girls to celebrate one of their birthdays and we had a great time. Nicole, one of the excellent managers at Jay Peak and her team help make out stay one that we will never forget. We are grateful to them and look forward to our next visit which will be soon due to Jay Peak’s amazing friendly service and their awesome facilities, including their Pump House waterpark which we love! Thank you Jay Peak for being awesome! We will be coming back and recommending Jay Peak to Al of our friends.

Jay Peak is one of my favorite places in the country. Being from Michigan, the skiing at Jay Peak is awesome. For someone who traditionally cannot afford a ski trip to Colorado or Utah, Jay Peak is great. I’ve gone there 2 years in a row, and each year it’s snowed every day. Powder is great and the staff is very friendly.
Audrey Lama — Google review
Excellent skiing, yummy restaurants, fun water park. But for $600 a night, which included waterpark but not lift tickets (no discount either—day of arrival discount is nonsense when check in and last chair are at the same time—they need to improve the basics. Horribly sagging mattresses, gossamer thin sheets. Bathroom only had 3 towels and one shampoo/conditioner for 4 people, no hair dryer (though they did bring those things). Rug kind of icky, and a deodorant left in a shelf suggested less than thorough attention to detail. A couple employees were cursing and joking about guillotines in the hallway too. This is a great place, but please replace your mattresses.
Sarah McCoy — Google review
I would give Jay 5 stars for the terrain alone, but given their distance from most major population centers I find their cancellation policy to be not customer friendly. I do appreciate they are a business, but losing half my deposit 14 days out is hard to justify since you have no idea what the weather will be that far out, especially given how often wind holds can happen.
While they will generally do the right thing and refund passes if they have to close, that doesn't cover the cost of the hotel stay which has to be factored in a review.
The terrain has something for everyone - glades, groomers, and long trails.
When the Jay cloud is providing fresh pow, there aren't many better places to be.
Jonathan Frappier — Google review
Jay has come a long way from what it used to be. New hotels, amazing water park. The snow might not be what it used to be but no fault of theirs. For an end of March trip still had some pretty nice conditions. We’ll see you next year.

We did not stay at the resort. We stayed outside and skied following a 32-in snowstorm. The conditions were great. Lots of diverse terrain and easy to get around. This is my first time at the resort. I understand they get a lot of snow. I will be back.

Had a great family vacation stayed at Hotel Jay. Can't say enough good things. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and lots of space for 4 adults and 1 toddler. That water park was awesome. The skiing was great. The staff everywhere was great. Will definitely be back next year. Thank you!

I grew up going to ski school at Jay. Back then, it was a great mountain. Despite living 4 hours away, I still call Jay my home mountain.
To this day, Jay peak stands out as one of the best, most consistent, always snowy mountain resorts in the north east!
Jay has only one downside— it’s a PITA to get to but it is worth every penny and every minute. Being so remote, you get an experience than many don’t.
Lift tickets are usual for NE, (relative to CO, CA, MT, etc), around $100-130 per day.
The hotel is nice and the food is okay, Sunday River has better lodge food. However, it’s clear the Jay is a multiple season resort for families of all types. There’s so much to do in this little village and Canada is just over the hill!
If you’re on the fence, just go. The skiing is world class, the glades are fantastic, everything else is good, if not great!

awesome mountain to snowboard on! if you like to ride on groomed smooth trails jay peak might not be the best in Vermont...... buuuuuut if you like glades, this place is awesome!!! chair lifts were good, Saturday was the busiest day and never had to wait more than maybe 5min. to get on a lift. the tram was about an hour wait, not worth it, but there was a fast chair lift that goes almost to the top. make sure you tell your friends, jay peak sucks! 😉
Indoor resort water park boasts waterslides, kids’ pools & a lazy river, plus an arcade & snack bar.
Great amenity to have at a ski mountain - really changes the game for kids on a family ski trip. They had a blast. Everyone here is friendly, the space is laid out well/maximized, the featured are fun... have been here 3 times and will surely return

It's a nice facility. Very small compared to other inclusive indoor water parks like Kalahari or Great Wolf Lodge but the rides are smooth and the lifeguards adhere to rules. If you're local I recommend a trip but, for this itself, it's probably not worth the cost for offered amenities.

The indoor water park was AWESOME! Plenty to do. Temperature was comfortable but very humid. Great place to chill out and relax at. There is a cool bar that sits up on top where you can watch your family and/or friends enjoy the waterpark. Drinks were great! The seating was hard to grab but we didn’t have to wait very long to snag a table. Towels are on the small side. I would recommend trying this place out after a long ski day!

Great time here as always. Especially fun as a kid. The red drop tube kind of hurts your back and isn't very fun in my opinion, but everything else is! I like how they have a separate hottub to sit outside even when it's snowing and the winds blowing. Froze my hair... went over and got waffles and chocolate from the waffle shack after. The food isn't bad at the Waterpark either.
Jacob Barnes — Google review
We had fun, I had 3 teenage boys with me. The day we went they were only open 4pm-8pm, but they were running a buy one get one free sale so that helped with the lack of hours.
We ate there first, the food was very good.
Then we went and did the waterside for about an hour and a half, after we went to the arcade for about 30 minutes, then headed back to the waterlslides, water basketball and rock wall pool.
I personally planned my entire evening around the lazy river - I had never planned on leaving it, May for the hot tub every once in a while. But did that happen, no it did not why you ask be cause and also the whole reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lazy river (or as they call it "adventure river") was closed for the season! It's an indoor water park - aren't all the seasons in season.
D. Roy — Google review
If my kids were to do this review it would have been a 5 but as a parent there were a couple things I didn’t appreciate. The snack bar inside though was awesome! Also the activities were pretty cool. Now not so awesome. I paid full price for tickets that were only 4-8pm which is considerably less time than normal hours. I of course hadn’t noticed the time change and assumed they were normal hours because of the same price and would’ve booked our trip differently had I known. Also my children’s eyes were completely bloodshot within about 20 minutes and burning from the amount of chemicals used even in the outdoor people. I understand there’s a lot of children and you may have to use more but we’ve been to other water parks and never had such an issue. I skinned my knee and am also having a problem with it healing and I’m assuming it’s from the amount of chemicals that were in the water. The kids feet were also all raw from the cement on the bottom of all the pool floors. I’d recommend water shoes for any other families if that’s allowed? If it’s not it should be.
Christina Eaton — Google review
They have lockers - they're $10 with an additional $20 that's returned with the key. Even when the resort was literally sold out, it took no time to get into the lazy river which was awesome. The arcade is perfectly fine and the staff are exceptionally nice, even when there's a crazy number of people. Slides are worth doing; on a not full day there was nearly no wait. Play areas for young children who loved them, and there were a number of teens and tweens around that were having a good time.

Unfortunately the lazy (adventure) river was closed due to staff shortages, the water slides were a blast especially the red slide that has a drop out door shooting you around a loop at high speed. There is an indoor and outdoor hot tub, a ful bar and indoor surfing that is very entertaining to watch if you're not adventurous enough to try. The staff is friendly and interactive. A little crowded but the slopes were in rough condition. Overall a great experience. Looking forward to a trip next year.

Not busy, very clean, my kids are having a blast! Got here at open and they’re showing no signs of slowing down! Plenty to do for a day when we need a break from skiing! All the staff have been excellent!

The park itself is a really fun day. A great place for a family outing. What really irked me about my visit was the number of selfish people who hogged chairs o themselves by placing a towel or other item on it in order to prevent anyone else from using them, while they were no where is sight for a long time. I found it so upsetting and selfish of all of these people to do this when there were clearly many many people searching for a place to sit or eat. Some people had like 6 or more chairs around a table, all crammed in together, with one person sitting at the table. They should be ashamed of themselves for being so selfish.
I strongly suggest that this establishment revise their rules to eliminate chair hogging, like other places do, so that everyone gets a fair chance.

Awesome fun and absolutely beautiful when it's snowing.
Plenty to do for a day.
The water is warm enough to enjoy, both kids section and the rest of the rides.
Get there early for seating, especially on the weekends but mid week allows for plenty of options.

Safety is a big thing here. Lifeguards are visible. Ample chairs and tables when we visited but i guess during peak season these would not suffice. Tickets during summer is inside their gift shop on the second floor and the door is on the far left which is kinda a blind spot. Ticket costs $44 for adult. Their is a flowrider and you need to fill in a waiver while you are buying to save you time.since the lifeguards will look if you have a whiteband signaling you already had the waiver signed

It was very busy and crowded with no lockers left to purchase, no tables or chairs available (all taken). I brought 4 teens, and they seemed to enjoy the water slides and lazy river the most. The food is good, but be prepared to stand in line for a while, especially on weekends. It was clean, an easy check-in process, and the life guards on duty seemed very attentive. We don't have many indoor water parks to choose from within a 3 hour drive, so we would definitely come back.
Rosanna Manuel — Google review
It has been several years since our last visit. Le chute was not working, lazy river had no rapids/waved or any water features working, and there is no system for the tube rides. Kids are always waiting for someone to give up a tube so they can have a turn.
We had a lot of fun the first time we went, after this visit I doubt we would return. Not worth the price for admission.

(2023 review) The kids love it and the food. They have pizza, burgers, chicken fingers, fries and dot ice cream. For adults the food is gross. The beers are $10 each. There is an outdoor hot tub that is fantastic. Lockers are $30 but you get $20 credit back if you leave before the end of the day. The lazy river is not lazy it has waves. You can't bring your drink on the river. Only 4 slides, two with tubes and one where the floor drops out from underneath you. Water Basketball, water rock climbing wall.
Update (2024) the water park front desk was closed all weekend. You had to get towels and bracelets in the gift shop. None of the doors to the water park were open. All locked, you had to enter through the gift shop or walk through the arcade, so annoying! This time the locker rooms were dirty and so was the outdoor hot tub. I wasn't impressed this time around.
Also the water park closes at 4pm on Sunday
Ski resort with downhill slopes, glades & cross-country trails, plus hikes amid fall foliage.
Great hill for skiing or snowboarding. The runs are fairly narrow and in the trees so it feels like your are in the woods. Also a great part of the hill is the lines are not very long to get onto the lift. Especially the side lifts that aren’t at the mail entrance. Worth the trip and very affordable.

My first visit to M’ont Sutton. Came from Toronto to enjoy the fall view. It was mesmerizing. Enjoyed the chairlift ride and all the staffs were so helpful. We even got a glimpse of the rainbow after a short rain. All the toilets were in good condition. But there were no changing tables for kids.

We just spent 5 days at Mount Sutton. First time visit and totally lucked out - fresh snow the night we arrived and it was still coming down on day 1 so we had a powder day! Day 2 we went on an ambassador tour to explore the whole mountain. Alain was so nice and patient with us and we toured with him for 2 half days and got to see the many challenging trails we would not have seen otherwise. He shared with us many anecdotes and history of the mountain and the town of Sutton, which made our trip so memorable. We enjoyed practicing our French and soaking up the French Canadian culture. It’s a no frill community oriented ski resort, very laid back. The rental shop is well stocked and organized, the equipments r in great shape. Most of the staff are friendly and highly professional. We’ll definitely be back.

Very nice mountain with great views, I really enjoyed my time skiing there! I find that some of the runs are slightly more narrow than in other places, with more trees, which feels more "natur-ey".
Lots of great skiing/snowboarding trails, but if it's your first time skiing, I would suggest going to a different hill (there aren't that many green trails!)
Definitely plan to get there ahead of time (lack of parking and wait time to get your ticket!)

A charming, old fashioned ski hill with some challenging runs, some easy runs and lots of Glades. We had excellent snow conditions when we went last week. The staff were friendly and we were shown around the mountain by Lynn and Linda, the local snow hosts, or E ambassadors. These women were great, funny and knowledgeable. They showed us both sides of the mountain, through some glades and acquainted us with the mountain. 5 stars to Lynn and Linda! We had a great time at Sutton.

Great and not super busy!
We went at the end of March for some spring skiing and had a day of mud and rain and then a day of fresh powder that quickly turned to slush but it was wonderful! The hill has tons of potential and it’s decently spread out so you can easily avoid other people.
The lifts are a little old but all the staff are friendly and they even encouraged us to do another run 3 minutes before the lift closed. There is parking about halfway up the mountain which is great if you don’t want to start at the base.
There’s also a nice chalet with a great little 2nd floor patio.
The lift tickets and rentals were pretty reasonable especially when compared to tremblant or other more mainstream resorts.
Great spot!

Good place to see fall colors. Has activities for all ages. Went up the hill via chair lift and it was fun. Only issue was that the restaurant on top of the hill was closed and was not updated properly in Google maps.

I have not been to mont Sutton during the ski season, but I have hiked this mountain during all other seasons. It’s a very nice hike to the summit and the view is beautiful. It’s not very difficult people of all ages hike to the top. Parking is free.

Hidden gem. Great glades. No major hotels but lots of small places to stay close by. Good little town nearby. Great option to save some money compared to Tremblant two hours closer (from the west) than St. Anne or Le Massif and a short hop across the border to Jay Peak, VT.

*update as they have replied:
Let me be clear, your staff wearing safety vests stopped me at the entry of the parking lot, asked me if I had already bought a lift ticket, when i said no they said the mountain was full and to turn my car around.
I appreciate the reply but I was already well aware there are other places to park.
Original review below:
Went here on feb17 and got there at 11am and was told by staff before i got to the parking lot that unless i bought a ticket the day before i could not go because the mountain was full.
The parking lot was visibly overfilled and i would not have minded parking further down and walk there but this is the first time of my life im told an actual ski hill is full.. especially at 11am.
So i had to leave, I drove to bromont 30mins away to still be able to ride and not waste a full day off.

Despite the mild winter the ski conditions have been outstanding thanks to a very dedicated grooming team. Mother Nature has not been kind to folks that love winter but Mont Sutton has made it possible to enjoy skiing on plenty of well groomed runs. BRAVO!

First time here but it won't be the last. The conditions of the mountain was far exceeding our expectations considering what the 2024 season has wrought. You can tell they really take care of their runs with lots of snow guns that I can only assume run all night. There is no night skiing. Once the fog had lifted we headed to the highest point where all the blacks and double plus blacks are and we could see that the terrain would provide great fun and challenges. Lots of glade runs will be attempted next year (hopefully) but this year we mostly stayed on piste due to the icey hard pack off piste. All that said, it has a small mountain feel with great runs, at a good price, with people who care more about hitting the slopes and providing a good time. Also, there's a terrific Churro truck as you leave and the smell of FRESH churros will definitely capture you as you head to your car.
Will Wertheim — Google review
We came for the zip lining and did both the giant and the roller coaster, with lunch at the food truck between.
All of the technicians and everyone involved were friendly, reassuring and clear in their instructions in both English and French. The gear was strong and secure.
Each of the 2 ziplines was exciting in it's own way. The giant for its length because the first section is a whole kilometer long, so that first step off the platform seems incredible. Second section is 400 meters, which seems easy at that point. The roller coaster that we did in the afternoon is the only one of its kind in North America.
The day was pretty pricey, but considering all of the people and gear that's involved, it's kind of understandable.

This huge mountain is beautiful. It has over 60 trails, even though they’re not always all open, fair food/snack prices in the chalet, and awesome views from the top. I’ve gone three times in January and the snow powder has been good too. The only downside is that it lacks of green lines, the family zone is small with just two slopes and it is a fairly challenging mountain, making it for people with no experience with ski/snowboard, not the ideal place to learn.

We went up in the summer for a quick lunch and chairlift ride.
Food at the kiosk was okay, but pretty basic. Chairlift ride was fun with great views from the top. Awesome experience and totally worth it for us tourists! If you are in the area I would definitely recommend it as part of your todo list.
Popular mountain for skiing offering 141 trails, including numerous lit runs, plus restaurants.
Love this place. It was my first season pass and second time snowboarding ever.
The slopes have a good diversity of complexity from bunny slopes, to green, blue, diamond and double black diamond.
There is an insane amount you can do and see here... Numerous bars and cafes to hangout at and the slopes are variable.
The view from the top is incredible.
Sometimes the lines can get insanely long at night and on weekends. I have waited 30mins to get on a lift a few times... But honestly it is worth the wait.

Went back … nearly 30 years after my last visit. It was my goto place at the beginning of the 90’s for mountain biking.
A bit expensive if you don’t bring your bike and you don’t have a subscription. However, it is worth every penny even if you have to rent a bike (they are quite good btw).
Notes: There are a ton of trails of many level. Be aware that the green trails are not as easy as they seem. The same logic apply to the other levels.
Like the old days, doing 4 to 6 descents per day is propably the maximum if you want play safe.

There are many trails to choose from on the snowy slopes, and there's a restaurant at the summit for a great rest. It's an excellent ski resort, and there are plenty of staff on-site to ask for recommendations on the slopes for the day. 👍👍

Bromont’s winter beauty is the perfect place to enjoy a ski day with friends and family. The
mountain contains many trails suitable from beginners to experts. When you are at the peak of the ski mountain, the view is simply mesmerizing, especially during a sunny winter afternoon. The peak also has a resto/café to keep you warm while you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee or their soup of the day while you get to enjoy yhe view.

Nice ski slope, but crowded. We arrived on Sunday and skied on Monday. The Sun was extremely crowded. The Mon was a 1/2 hour wait for the 9am lift. The snow was deep, well groomed and very nice. They had lift loading attendants so the lift lines were not chaotic and elbowing. There is a lot of housing as condo rentals or hotels, so it is a nice destination slope. I recommend it.

Had a great ski experience here even though all runs were not open. It was really the first day of skiing for me. Got in around 27km of skiing over 22 runs.
Also did the night skiing here. That was top notch.

Great mountain with lots of runs of various difficulty levels. Including several spots with jumps and parks. Runs are well groomed and most are lit up at night if you want to ride all day. There's a cafe at the top of the mountain if you need to warm up.

Probably the best mountain that is in close proximity of montreal. There are many trails for all skill levels, and conditions are fairly well maintained. The facilities are also pretty good, there a chalet at the more popular chairlifts, where you can warm up with a quick bite and some hot cocoa or coffee. At the main chalet there is a bar sit down restaurant where you can relax between ski sessions. The staff are relatively friendly and ski patrol is very attentive for everyone safety. My only complaint is the ski lift by P5 connecting the main mountain and P5, there always seems to be issues causing it to stop. Other then that it’s a great place to ski or snowboard.

Great place to learn skiing. The beginner slopes are a good place to start, not too easy, but also not too difficult. You don't need a pass to access the beginner slopes, which is great, but there could be a long waiting line at the magic carpet. Had a lot of fun here!

Located on the "main" street in Vieux Bromont, Le Musee du Chocolat has all the non-traditional European chocolates that you would not normally find at the grocery stores...plus then have their own onsite chocolate production (and a small one-room musuem).

The savory crepe with fruit was so delish. I would love to go back!

Storied zoo featuring more than 200 animal species, plus thrill rides & an Amazon-themed water park.
We brought my son here for the first time and he loved seeing all the different animals. The lions, rhinos, giraffes and zebras were his favorite and they were all close enough to the edge of their enclosures that we got a fantastic view. Some of the monkeys seemed to be a bit sick but apart from that the animals looked healthy. There was lots to see and all in all it made for a great afternoon trip.

Price might seem as a little expensive, but if you know that there is a wave pool and tons of free rides, plus 4 continents of exotic animals, it’s pretty incredible that they can keep it at that price!
It takes a full day visit. We visited when the wave pool was not open and arrived at noon. We stayed until 5 and were exhausted (mostly because of heat). So if you arrive at the opening at 10am, at a not too hot day, you should plan for a whole day, from opening to the closing.
Most of the animals seem healthy and well treated. The little ones will learn so much about the animals they saw on TV or Disney movies! Amazed by the muscleman gorillas, by the shear size of the hippopotamus, and the elephants. The animators of the snake, the gorillas and the elephants were super fun for the kids and full of knowledge and they are passionate of sharing their knowledge too!
My son and I had a blast with Lego animal constructions!

Went to this place with family and do recommend as a great family friendly activity, with loads of animals, long walks and activities for kids. Beware of the expensive admission fee though. They have some XL sized Ginger Tabby cats and a ride that takes you through the good portion of the zoo.

This is a fun zoo outside of Montreal. It’s not too big so it’s great for younger kids.
Several of the buildings are not stroller friendly. Most of the Door openers don’t work so you’re awkwardly holding the firing trying to get a stroller in. The cafeteria doesn’t have a stroller or wheel chair entrance.
The nursing room in the cafeteria was also disgusting. Covered in toilet paper And it smelled like someone had peed all over it. There is also only one in the entire zoo.

Visited Granby Zoo last Saturday and despite the crowds, we were pleasantly surprised to find no waiting times. Once inside, the expansive size of the zoo made it feel uncrowded.
The variety of activities available was impressive, with the standout being the captivating shows featuring different animals presented by the zookeepers.
However, there was a slight letdown as a significant number of animals seemed to be asleep and unengaged with visitors, almost as if they were completely hidden from view. Nevertheless, the zoo proved to be an excellent family outing that I wholeheartedly recommend. The food court was efficiently organized, and the pricing appeared reasonable.
Arriving around 10:45 am, I was able to secure a convenient spot in the P1 parking area, which is in close proximity to the main entrance. Additionally, purchasing tickets online in advance streamlined the entry process.

So for a first timer , we heard so many great things about Granby Zoo, and ended up dissapointed in it to say the least. First of all for a family of 4 (youngest is 2 years old) 97 CAD is a lot !!! And an extra 13 CAD to rent the stroller which is in the gift shop (a 1o min walk from the entrance ), and believe me if you have young kids you will need a stroller or carrier because it is a huge place (took us 4 hours and we didnt even visit it all) . Also bring finger food and snacks along, if you are visiting soon, coz only one restaurant was open and his options were limited to fast food.
On the good side ,we got to see lots of animals , they have a paper map you can get on the entrance to help you navigate your way, it had a big variety of animals...
But if you have sensitive nose , some places are extra smelly 😷 so be careful

We had a great time we started with zoo and the rest on the next weekend as we cannot finish all on the same day. It's a bit expensive but if you are planning to go more than 1 time.... then I recommend you to take the summer pass and visit as many times as you want.

First of all if you don't arrive at the parking lot at 10am you may waste an hour waiting to park which is inconvenient, the right turn on red at several intersections here should be eliminated!
It is recommended to stay here for two days, one day to see the animals and one day in the water park, there are many types of animals also you can interact with the animals, for example, spend $3 to feed the parrots. The water park has several programs that are very exciting, especially the barrel slides. The rafting program is very suitable for parents and children to experience, smaller children need to wear life jackets. The bumper cars and carousel at the playground are especially popular with children.

We have been a few times already and this time the animals were more active than usual which was great. The experience, attractions and atmosphere are all really good. Don't miss feeding the birds early or petting the manatees, both at the Oceana section.
The bathrooms and facilities were pretty clean and easily accessible no matter where you are.
My only "complaint" is that the price has risen by 20$ per person since the last time we came 2 years ago so that shocked us a bit but the exhibits and the work they do at Granby would justify it somewhat.
They have a new area in the Asia section under construction so we are looking forward to that next year.

I’ve been to a couple zoos in China and then I went to Granby “zoo”… this was a joke… most areas with the larger animals would have one or max 2 animals that usually didn’t have any energy and were far away. There were only two positive things I could think of. One it was not crowded but there wasn’t much to see anyways. Two the kids enjoyed staying in the water areas more than seeing the animals. I later brought them to a real water park to have more fun. Save your time money and energy from going here and choose another activity.

Fantastic zoo to visit... We went there about ten years ago and loved it. At the time we spent part of the day in the zoo and part of it in the water park. We decided to return and take our visiting relatives along, and despite the hot weather, we truly enjoyed the visit. Some of the animals were too hot and hiding, however we go close and personal with the Siberian Tiger and other animals. One particular experience was being able to touch and caress the stingrays, riding the camel and horse and pony (kids). The layout and map were not easy to read, but generally speaking, the flow is easy and will allow you to see the various sections of the zoo. You can bring your own food and I suggest bringing along a rolling cart (or you can rent one there for about $13). There are restaurants everywhere and ice cream shops as well. The staff is fantastic and very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this zoo for a family outing or visit.

The lions, elephants, zebra, rhinos.
I love it and my kid too
The place is pretty clean and well maintained
The part I dislike was the fact that the food offers in the park are mostly sweet and fast food, I think the choice is very limited
I truly advise you to bring your own sandwiches and drinks
The set up to visit is pretty well done so you experience the most out of it

My favorite zoo, super well done for family with young kids, also has waterpark and rides. My only complaint is it's pricey (ticket from 3+ years old) and the park opens only from 10am to 7pm in summer. It's impossible to do everything in one day and parking is not big enough to accommodate on busy weekends. We arrived after lining up for a while in cars to learn that parking is full and have to go elsewhere!!!

UNION LIBRE Cidre & Vin is a great place to stop for a sample of great ciders and wines. Eric, the owner, was very polite and helpful. I bought two very good cider aperitifs!
The Cider Aperitif is fantastic! Made from a fire cider fortified with apple brandy. Complex and authentic, it offers a nose of ripe apples that evolves into hints of honey and candied fruit.
Stop by and give them a try!

While we enjoyed the wines, they were served warm and in plastic glasses in a 4 choice "flight" for $12. We selected a white, a rosée and 2 aperitif wines. I wish they had been chilled. I have visited many wineries in the area and felt the service was less than I had hoped for. We made our selection and were asked to go outside where they would bring it to us. We both felt that this was not the usual tasting experience but the wines would have been better chilled.

Holy amazing. Best wines we've tasted in QC and VT by far. Their brut is equivalent to Schramsberg in Napa Valley, CA. Both chardonnays were incredible. Likewise for their rose (still) and frissant. First time experiencing wineries in the province of Québec and we choose this one as our number one winery to try first . It did not disappoint. Our tasting was done by a very knowledgeable and personable lady by the name of Lucie Bilodeau. Bilingual as well which helped with my anglophone husband. What we found fascinating on how they kept their vines from freezing in the harsh Québec winters
The wines are of high calibres. Well done! Totally worth a visit!

Wine tasting explanation is less friendly than other wineries we’ve tried. I think because they are a bit lack of staff, so the place was a bit busy. It looks like they just finished doing renovation and seems like a good upgrade. The view and the room here is amazing.

The recommended vineyard in Quebec. Tried ones in Ontario and other European ones. This one is not tasting at the COVID. So bought the $28 most expensive bottle of Chardonnay for a try. Announced by the salespersons that it won the medal over blind taste. The wine was also put in the American oak barrel according to the salesperson.
They say the wine is chilled well for opening and tasting outside. When it is opened, they used the screw that doesn’t hurt the cork, but the temperature of the wine bottle is not satisfactory. The taste is hmm, spice, wax and a bit smoky, worse than any bottle even in Costco.
I wanna enrich my knowledge in wine medals here, so I went online according to the photo I took at the shelf. Look carefully, the medal has 2020 and 2018 on it, the bottle is 2019. Not even the medal has nothing to do with the bottle, the website has not mentioned this bottle in none of these years.
This is cheating that I don’t like.

Beautiful winery! They redesigned the customer experience (due to Covid19), with large information boards about the process of how they make wine and the history of L'Orpailleur. I learned a lot about the techniques and the challenges they face year around. No wine tasting obviously, but a warm welcome and the staff can still answer your questions. If in area, don't miss it!

Did a tour for $10 per person, you get a wine glass and three "degustations" that they choose (the blanc, the rose, and the part d'ange), and a visit around the vineyard and a look at the machines. Was guided by Pierre, who was very informative and friendly. Also tasted the ice wine (one degustation for $2), which is definitely a must try. The space is lovely and you can stay in the area for a picnic, etc.
Loved this sanctuary! Great friendly staff and volunteers. Spent a fun and educational day getting to know all about the birds of prey. Enjoyed getting to see these beautiful creatures up close. They do wonderful work hete. Don't go to zoos. These are the places we should be supporting.

What great work these people do! We saw a great program with a few birds that they had saved but were unable to release due to injuries. Then we were privileged to be there when they returned 2 birds to the wild. The demonstration lasted over an hour! Unfortunately, it was all in French. However, there are some very informative signs in English about the birds on dog friendly trails.

We had the most amazing time at the park today, seeing the beautiful birds up close. The lovely staff went out of their way to explain everything in english. But not only did we enjoy the birds, the forest and fields around the paths were really amazing to.
Thank you so much guys!

Exciting to be in such proximity to raptors. Especially moving when assisting to the release of birds that have been rehabilitated. Great monitors, generous with their knowledge.
