Fully accessible playground with a variety of themed play structures, picnic tables & bathrooms.
We loved the fenced area. There was plenty of visibility from the bench. Nice and colorful and something for each age group to play in.
We'll definitely come back.

Great playground for kids!
There’s a nice soft matting as the are for everything. The playground is constructed out of durable synthetics rather than wood.
There’s a wide variety of swings, slides, piles, ropes and ramps.
They also have a smaller playground specifically for younger kids.
Todd — Google review
Very nice area to play for little ones from 1 year and up to have an adventure. The special swings for a parent and baby were the coolest. Bathrooms are clean and well kept.
S Wetherell — Google review
This is a wonderful place to bring young children. It's full of many things to do and interact with. Slides, swings, and many other objects that keep the little ones interested.

This is an awesome family park for various ages with numerous activities. Set in a quiet area woth trees, fields, and a skate park near by this is a great place for families to go.
James O'Shea — Google review
Sweet place!! Fun and inclusive and wasn't too busy! Always really fun. Bring a picnic and make a day of it! The skate park across the parking lot is a hit with the scooters too!
Broadway Blondie — Google review
Great place to take the kids to. Let them burn off some energy. Lots of activities for them to do.
Carolyn Malchow — Google review
This place is amazing. All of the kids love it here and some parents too. Hehe. Great place to just chill , have a party or just spend the day with the family.
Corby Davis — Google review
Very cool park, my kids love it. There is no shade, anywhere. When it gets hot outside, the playground is about 20 degrees hotter than the real temperature. Every time we go the bathrooms seem to be locked. I don’t understand having bathrooms at a children’s park and locking them. When kids need to go to the bathroom, they NEED to go.
Elizabeth Rucker — Google review
A wonderful playground that has equipment and experiences for ages 18 months to 10 years and beyond. The floor surface is soft and safe and there are many activities for kids and parents. Nearby is a public bath with family baths and a covered pavilion with picnic tables. Also nearby is an elaborate skate park for older kids and a splash pad is sceduled to be built for next summer.
Jay Eppert — Google review
I believe the park has been there since 2009. I'm so impressed and how it is kept up. However, there's a turtle that you're supposed to hit with sticks I think to make sound in the sticks aren't there anymore. But we had a great time there this morning.
Holy Hill - Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians
Basilica
Sights & Landmarks
Hilltop Roman Catholic church constructed in neo-Romanesque style in 1926, with soaring twin towers.
Great hike. Convenient parking. The view from the top is amazing as you can see fir miles around so bring binoculars. The coves along the hike up the hill showing statues of Jesus's crucifixion are undeniably moving.
Dave Becker — Google review
What a lovely place to visit. Church services are offered at two different levels. There is a preliminary deck for some beautiful views for miles around. There's also a tower consisting of approximately 170 steps that can be climbed to get expanded views for many many miles around. If you opt for the tower, please be mindful of those coming up and down the stairs because it is extremely narrow and cannot accommodate multiple people walking up and down at the same time in portions of the staircase. Bring your patience and enjoy the gorgeous view from the top. Fall colors are breathtaking, so it's a great time to visit. Be prepared for steep climbs; however, for those who are physically limited, there are also elevators available to get up to the viewing deck as well as either first or second level for mass services. I would recommend visiting both levels. There is also a large gift shop with a variety of wonderful options to select for everyday, and holiday gift-giving as well as special occasions such as christenings, weddings, Etc. You will also find a small Cafe, But be sure to check for hours because it's not always available. There are also food vendors on the property as well as ample parking, though be prepared to park at the large lot which then requires a walk up a relatively steep driveway to reach the basilica. For visitors with physical limitations, it's best to pull up to the upper landing right in front of the entrance to the gift shop. The entry where the gift shop is located has restrooms to the left and slightly down the hall to the right you will find elevators. If you plan a visit for Sunday services, please just remember it will be quite busy. This beautiful Basilica/property is so worth the trip!

Very peaceful and beautiful place to visit and enjoy the beautiful scenery and hike up the 178 steps to the top of the tower to see the beautiful views of the countryside. Also a nice place to bring a picnic lunch. We also really enjoyed the stations of the cross which are placed along a beautiful hilly walking path.
Cindy M — Google review
Very beautiful place, I am glad I got the chance to see it. Fall colors were just starting to turn. There are some great views, however some trees really need to be trimmed to open up some of the viewing areas. I am disabled and was unable to go up into one of the towers which I am sure provide an un-obstructed view. Well worth going to see.
John M. Rich — Google review
Beautiful setting, lots of fall colors.
Be ready for a bit of a walking work out.
Very peaceful setting grate for meditation or wedding pictures.

Backpacking the Ice Age trail across Wisconsin. Looked up and saw this castle of a church on a hill next to the trail. Didn't expect to see that.

This place is not only beautiful but also very holy. They have 2 daily masses on weekdays, 6 am, and 11 am. The Priests gave great homilies. My first time went to Sunday Mass here and I experienced something I did not see at any masses that I’ve been. The Priest blessed water and salt, mixed them together and sprinkled on us. For those who don’t know about holy water and holy salt, please search for the meaning of these Sacramentals. There are 14 stations of the Cross outside along the way walk up to the church. The gift shop has a lot of stuff. There is a Grotto where you can get Holy Water so bring your bottle or get some for a few bucks in the gift shop. There are stairs outdoor that lead all the way from the ground to the Church. They also have stairs inside the building as well as elevator. Restrooms are very clean. Please consider to wear appropriate clothes when visiting this place. The Monks placed the sign at the entrance asking people to wear proper clothes so please help them.

This place is breath-taking. The architecture is incredible, beautiful artwork inside the Basilica, and gorgeous scenery all around. Even if you're not religious, a visit here is well worth your time.
Dolores Zesatti — Google review
I probably can’t say anything more than what’s already been said about the distinction and majesty of this place, but what I can say is that you hafta be here. Come and see for yourself. While the Basilica itself is a must see, the grounds are massive with walking trails, Stations of the Cross, a cafe, and gift shop. I think of the engineering feat of the Basilica being built atop this high hill, with its impressive architecture and an aura of a much greater presence than ourselves that all that is seen symbolically points to. You just hafta be here.
Yetemar-Kenyell Cross — Google review
Peaceful place to visit. They have a holy water fountain where you can put water in a bottle to drink and bring it home for family blessing. Highly recommended for this special Shrine place. A must see.

After a lovely trip we went to see the local recommendation. Beautiful entry and beautiful building and beautiful sight! I couldn't make my way up as I'm disabled but my partner informed me the 160yr old building has actually been retrofitted to be able to accommodate disabled people! There is an elevator from the bottom all the way to the top! I'll definitely head through next time!! I'm so shocked they did that and so impressed (even though it should be the norm)

We visited Holy Hill with our 6 kids of all ages 7 months to 13 years. Everyone loved it! Our family members scared if heights faced their fears. Those less afraid just had a fun time. Overall, a big success. The view was spectacular and the chapel is beautiful.

Amazing visit
Spent 1 hour and 40 minutes seeing most of what you could see here. This does not include any hiking (which I will do next time)
T J — Google review
Put on your climbing shoes and stretch those legs for the 178 steps up to the tower. You will be rewarded at the top with breathtaking views. An array of coloring picturesque trees blanket the vistas . Plan on arriving early, as the tower can get crowded. After you descend, stop and visit the Chapel and shop the gift shop. Be respectful in the Chapel, as cell phones and voices have to be silent. This is a must see destination. The admission is free, but please consider making a donation to help with the upkeep. Enjoy your visit.

Breathtaking! A scheduled stop on a father son road trip in 2022. I never knew anything about this place until I started researching "must see" places in Wisconsin. The pictures alone were enough to sway me. It's a whole other ballgame when you see it in person. The church is massive! Stands on a hill and is motion picture worthy! It is absolutely stunning! My son and I were able to climb the stairs in one of the steeples. The views were exceptional from the top! We could see for miles, including Milwaukee! I can only imagine what the view looks like in the fall. We also toured the grounds and was able to see inside the church. We arrived maybe 30 minutes before they were locking up. So, just enough time to take it in. My goal was to attend a service but time constraints didn't allow it. Was still magical and so very peaceful. Any time of the year you choose to come here, it will leave you breathless! I know the Fall and Winter are picturesque but we went in the Summer and still loved it. If you are out traveling the great state of Wisconsin, make this one of your stops! Highly recommend!!!

This is my second time there and it was gorgeous although I didn't realize the scenic tower was closed from November to April prior.

This is worth the visit. We visited on 22-Oct-2023. The management is very helpful and the entrance is also free. It has lots of steps to climb up, the top of the tower offers magnificent 360 views .
There was a queue and we had to wait for 1.5 hours to get in.
We were able to experience the sunset view as well.
The staff is very nice and helpful.
Satish Reddy — Google review
Did not have this stop scheduled on my trip. Driving through the countryside and I saw the spires peaking above the trees. What a beautiful Basilica. Take the time to climb to the top of the towers. Such a beautiful view.

Absolutely gorgeous but very crowded the day we visited after having a great lunch at Joe Mamma's. Didn't walk up to the basilica due to my friend just having back surgery brace removed.

My experience in late September at Erin was top notch. The green fees may be steep on historic clout but the immaculate conditions surely justified them. The caddies in our group CJ and Sean were very knowledgeable and surely helped our round move along smoothly. The walk is surely one of the toughest I’ve endured during a round of golf but well worth the trek. I look forward to hopefully returning again in the future.
ptorba88 — Google review
Course is amazing. Long long walk. Caddy is worth it for course knowledge. We had Tyler. Cool dude w incredible insight and a great demeanor.
View is ridiculous. Brooksey won the us open here so there are pix throughout. 18 is the hole where Justin Thomas went 3 wood 3 wood to get on.
Fun stuff.
Sam Baik — Google review
Erin Hills is more than spectacular golf. It is a golf experience like no other. Huge in scale, from the practice area to the course. One great hole after another. Conditions as perfect as the week the pros played there. Four outstanding par 5’s. Having Andrew as a caddie was the cherry on top of a perfect day.
Jim Smyth — Google review
By far one of the most incredible links design courses in the US. I loved the course - conditions were superb - and the staff / clubhouse are impeccable. One of the best golf trips I’ve ever had. Thanks Erin Hills.

This place is great! Highly recommend you try and stay a few nights! Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Restaurants have great food & drink and the golf course is spectacular (but difficult). Don't miss out on the lighted putting green!

Went for a trip with 8 of us and had a blast. Stayed on-site in cottages and the hospitality and amenities were top notch. Played kettle loop “short course” to warm up and then putting course at night after some drinks. Great time! Golf was obviously top notch and caddies were great. Highly recommend.
Chad Levine — Google review
If you want to play a US Open course Erin Hills will give you the full experience. Magnificent layout, as difficult as you want to make it play, conditions was consistent and very good playing one week after the WI State Am.
Young caddies who were very nice and better than I would have expected given their college ages. Good strategy and green reading and nice people.
The course views are unreal. The layout is expansive and the walk will be 8 miles. I'm 60 and it was a good hike but nothing over the top. A few hikes up to the tee boxes and greens but I've walked much more difficult and shorter courses.
The heather wasn't a lost ball either. In our foursome only one ball was lost and in a low area with thick undergrowth. Most other places the heather can be played from.
We played in from 6900yds with a moderate breeze and even for me should have been a low 80- mid 80s round if I played even half way decently. But some days you don't have it.
Have played this 3x but the 1st time since the redesign. It's much better without the tricked up par 3 hole and new #9 (the old extra hole).

What a great experience. Even in the rain our caddy’s where great. Gabe was reading the greens and laying out out the next shot for me with precision. Poor guy was turning blue from the cold and was still having a great time with us.
The course was in great shape. Even in the rain we still enjoyed the beauty of the course.
Looking forward to coming back.

What an absolute delight. From the moment you arrive the people, service and golf course are outstanding. Big thank you to Joe our caddie and Brian the course ranger who both made our day extra special. Without doubt the best golfing experience in the USA I have experienced in my lifetime
Graham Humphrey — Google review
Amazing place! The golf experience one could only dream in Wisconsin. They provide great restaurants, luxurious clubhouse and late night putting green you want to take advantage of. The course was challenging (especially around the greens) but was fairly open off the tee. It’s nice having a breeze roll through each hole, and you get a great feel for the US Open from 2015. We hope to go back one day!

Very much enjoyed my night/round at Erin Hills. We had great Craic! Can’t wait to go back. (Zoom in on that 3rd picture.)

We stayed here on Memorial Day 2021 and played Monday afternoon and then again Tuesday Morning. First Class in every aspect. My partner is a 1 handicap and I'm a 6. We played green tees and found it fair. He shot 74,75 I shot 84,79 for our rounds. We had Landon as our caddie and he reads greens as well as anyone I've seen. The greens are the best I've seen. The ball roles so pure. Just wonderful accommodations. The setting at the course is perfect. We stayed at the Lodge and the beds and bedding were awesome. The Patio with the fire pits are so nice and the restaurant patio overlooking the course is fantastic. The setting is Absolutely Perfect. We played Straights, Irish, Rivers @ Blackwolfe following our stay at Erin Hills and this place has the best greens by far.The overall experience of staying on property puts this place on Bucket List stuff. First Class and Awesome in every way.

Excellent service in every area. Golf course is beautiful and well manicured. Wish they had bigger selection of women items in the pro shop but I do understand considering the small number of women that play there. Wish more women would go - the course is friendly to our game.
Tours of a 5-story, octagonal house from 1854 with old photos & other historical objects on display.
Well worth the trip to see this amazing house and contents. The tour guide was amazing. She knew the house, its contents, history of the family and surrounding area. My favorite part was the spiral staircase. The quality and construction of it (and the whole house) is astounding. If you're ever in the area, stop by to see it.
Scott Nightengale — Google review
This is a great place to visit. What an interesting architectural home! The venting achieved by the design of circular staircase in center of home, and windows/french doors across from each other is super!! We need that today in homes! Our tour guide was excellent, working there 25 years she knows the history without script, and gives you details when you ask questions. She even dresses the part in period dress. The grounds are well done and maintained. The barn with it's historical pieces, and the first registered kindergarten adds another level of interest to your visit which you do on your own. Close to the Rock River it is a lovely neighborhood as well. Stop in when you are area, call for times and days available during the rest of 2021 season.

Loved it! Very interesting! Had very informative guide. Took about an hour. Lots of stairs.
Pic from top floor down of circular stairs case. Beautiful!
Other pic of the outside front of house.
Large windows are really French doors. They were taxed by how many windows in the home. This house is mainly French doors. :) Cool idea to get out of paying taxes on the home! :)

LOVED THIS PLACE!!!! I have lived in Wisconsin all my life and this was my first time here. Everyone should come visit at least once. Well worth the money. We had the guide all to ourselves so that made it very special and easy to hear also 😀

Exhibition center for area artists' work, with educational programs, events & a gift shop.
Great museum that regularly has a new and fun exhibit. Recent glass exhibit is amazing (how do they do that in glass?!) Perfect size to enjoy the museum for a few hours and not be exhausted, but thoroughly inspired.

This is a gem of a museum. We live in Milwaukee, but a membership here is inexpensive, so we’ve enjoyed making the drive to visit occasionally. Interesting special exhibits and fun events. Stunning location too - beautiful building perfectly situated on the river.

As a person who has visited more than 200 museums over the world, entry cost a bit overpriced. Great idea to cover the entrance fee by making 2 person donation discount.
It is an hour long museum unless you want to dive into the details of “everything”. Overall, building has great modern architecture which fits perfectly to the city, even interior is worth to take some photos, collection is not extraordinary but exciting to see.
If you are passing through, definitely worth to stop by.

What a great museum! I love how the museum features art of so many local, Wisconsin artists! I was there during the chalk festival so it was very busy and crowded in the museum but it was still a wonderful experience.

Was blown away by the different exhibits here! The range from blown glass and fine drawings to the largest oil painting I've ever seen, with life size figures. The clothing exhibits and furniture also wonderful. I'll recommend this as a wonderful few hours for anyone!

Went to the Chalk Fest, and it was a joy to see so many talented artists creating over the weekend! A little bit of something for everyone. Bubbles for the kids, food and beer, and other Artisans selling their wares. Way to go West Bend!

A magnificent piece of architecture with a wealth of variety in the works displayed. It is smaller but, has works from traditional oils to modern mixed media. It is always spotless and the gift shop has a nice selection at all price points. I only rated it a four because, I would rate the Louvre a five.

Admission is really a year-long membership and depends on the size of your party. Wonderful collection and special exhibits. Highly recommend.

After visiting many art museums in bigger cities, this one by far has impressed me the most. Especially being a smaller museum. I fell in love with a lot of works, a couple by Carl von Marr... look him up- amazing! And this very colorful painting of a cow, which I also fell in love with. You pay admission, which is actually a membership, and it's valid for an entire year. Well worth admission (which is VERY reasonable @ $15/person or $25/ group). Unique gem and I will be going back again.
Always a bunch of fun for the whole family. Great vendors and awesome love music. A great place to go in the morning to get your day started. We love the variety of fresh produce.

Great market. I actually think this location is better for parking. They allow dogs and with the number of people, dogs should be limited to only service dogs. Dogs were fighting, jumping, and pooping and owners were not responsible.

Gravel roads connect natural displays of over 400 local & exotic animals across 100 acres.
A great zoo to visit, a hidden treasure. A lot of trails to hike, roads are gravel, but you can have the option to ride a golf cart around at an extra cost. Animals were active that day. Good seeing them in more of a natural environment. I would definitely recommend seeing it if you have not yet!!!
James Schaeffer — Google review
Fun experience for families. Large variety of animals and some different ones you don't see in zoos anymore. You are able to get close to the animals (safely) and they have petting zoo and option to purchase feed for the animals. For $35 extra you can rent a golf cart to go around the cart which is a great option if your party can't make it the entire 4 mile loop. There is a playground and picnic area for eating as well.
Mariah Miles — Google review
It’s a nice zoo. I brought my little sister here today but there are some things that did not particularly care for. First of all, we got there at 10am, I was lucky I was able to find parking. The way the parking is set up is not great by any means. Secondly, I understand those who may not be able to walk ong distances but there was numerous times when me and my little sister were almost ran off the road as if golf carts ruled the place. The golf carts also were always in the way if we tried to get close to any of the animals mind you some were sleeping but I did not appreciate being run off the road. Thirdly,
Although we were handed a map, I did not like the fact that there literally is ABSOLUTELY NO SIGNS as to what direction to go in order to make it out of the zoo without starting to think you were gonna make a second loop. Vending machines should be in more than one spot.
I enjoyed the tigers the most, the prairie dog was adorable! It has a nice gift shop, fairly priced. They do give out free ice cream but it is EXTREMELY small container. Only 3 flavors available. The location is reasonable but I would hate to have gone
On a weekend. As stated was nice, but is not my first choice.
Jasmine K — Google review
We have been wanting to go to this place for so long and so happy we did. We were lucky that it was a cool Fall day and we were there early. There were hardly any people and the animals were out and about everywhere. I loved joining a wonderful hike along a path with seeing wildlife up close, personal, and the added benefit of being able to feed some of them. I am sure there are some who will find something wrong with animals “caged” , but most of these are out in large areas where they can “roam” and feel as much at home as possible. My autistic son does not have much patience for watching animals and enjoying the scenery so where it is estimated to spend about 4 hours, we walked it in just over an hour and fed lots of animals. Being single and remembering dating days, this would be an awesome day trip with a significant other or a family. One extra note that I would give this place 5 stars just for the bathrooms, at least the Men’s, as it was fabulous, bright, and very clean. Love this place!
Jeff Read — Google review
It is a great place to visit. Reasonable priced. It is around 4 miles. You can walk or rent a golf cart for $30 for 2 hours. We walked and took our time. It took us about 5 hours. We packed our own lunch. They have regular bathrooms in the front and portable toilets throughout the park. They have a gift shop and a grill if you want to eat there. Fun for all ages. Most of the areas have enough room for their animals to roam.

This zoo is fantastic! So nice to be able to feed most of the animals and get free ice cream! Great for families with kids or even older family members! You can rent a golf cart and go at your own pace whether you walk or take a cart! It is a few miles around so bring your walking shoes. Parking is free!

Great zoo for all ages. You can feed most of the zoo by hand, the bucket of feed is highly recommended.
We opted to take a golf cart because we had young kids, and I'm glad we did. The zoo was great experience in the golf cart.
We will be returning.

Well worth the time. You can walk or use one of the golf carts that they rent out. You can hand feed some of the animals. If you are looking for a great place to take your children this will be the place, they can burn off a lot of energy.

We try and go once a year to this hidden gem. All my children love this zoo as do I. You are welcome to bring in fruit and veggies as treats to the animals. Food is available for purchase at 5 per bucket. They also rent golf carts which works out extremely well for us. 2 hours goes by quick as we love to stay and watch all animals.
Amy Reinhart — Google review
I have to say, this was a great experience. My whole family had a blast. I think this is the closest I’ve ever got to the majority of these animals.
What people say about the parking lot is true, it is a bit of a pain. But be creative within the rules and you would find a spot.
The zoo is huge so we rented a golf cart. It was worth it. We didn’t see anyone acting reckless or inappropriate. Some elderly people will pull up really close to the fence to what I believe is because of their medical conditions or disability.
We would definitely be back! 👋🏽

Amazing time, I'm still amazed how the tropical animals adapt to the Wisconsin weather. If you go with kids buy some food for the animals, they are going to have a blast feeding the goats, pigs and horses. We arrived around noon and it was not crowded at all. Plenty of shade and seats. The chipmunks definitely stole the show....the hunted my 1 1/2 year old...😆 🤣 😂. Bring plenty of water and some snacks the picnic tables are very inviting 😀
Carmen Morales Rico — Google review
They have golf carts you can rent if you can't walk long distances. They also encourage you to buy a bucket of food to feed the animals. At the end of the day, they give you an ice cream. The animals are beautiful and well taken care of. They also have a beautiful souvenir store. People are so friendly! 😊 I can't say enough about this place.
Bonnie Scheerer — Google review
Loved it there. Was a very long walk and near the end it seemed like we were never going to find the end but that. Made it much more memorable. We got to see the mountain lion and tiger try going at it through the fence. I was too late getting video, I really would have loved to get the growls and vocalizations from it. It was totally epic.
They offer golf cart rentals, and if I would have known it was that long I would have considered it, but I think walking was what made it much more enjoyable. Just have to make sure to bring a stroller along with beverages and things because by the time we were through it had been at least 3 hours walking with our 2 year old daughter , who loved the bears and all the other animals. Was well worth admission, which I think was only $15 adult and kid was free.
Darryl Kleinke (Darkform75) — Google review
Truly a hidden gem! A wild and unique experience. It is like walking through a forest so if you're pushing a stroller, make sure you have good wheels.(Umbrella stroller not recommended)
Don't forget to grab a bucket of food when you arrive to feed the animals from start to finish!
Every single staff member was kind and attentive. The staff mowing the lawn even stopped as we were walking past and gave us some fun information about the wolves.

My kids and myself thoroughly enjoyed our time at the zoo. Great experience! We went on a day when it wasn’t so busy because of the weather and it was awesome. The animals were all out roaming and active.

Such a beautiful well kept place! I'm so happy to have had the pleasure of visiting. I walked at a leisure and covered the whole place in about 2 1/2 hours. I definitely could have spent more time, but I had limited time. I will definitely be back!

Love seeing the animals being fed fresh fruits and vegetables! You can also buy buckets to feed most animals yourself. We rented a golf cart. Made it easy for my 80 year old mom to enjoy.

This is a great open air zoo. Wild life is healthy and free to roam about. You can walk the path or drive the path with their golf carts. Takes about 2 hours to walk. There is a restaurant on premise. We visited on a weekend afternoon, and it was busy, but not overly crowded. Worth the visit. Had adult grandkids with us. We all enjoyed it.
Ooooh, so delicious, and an easy, picturesque drive from the highway. This place is both a cheese shop and a gift store. We bought several sharp cheddars, including an amazing horseradish and dill block, dill and garlic cheese curds, and another block that was aged 12 years. We also had a great lunch from their lunch counter.
Compared to other cheese shops, it was cooler because they have the plant attached to the shop

Cedar Valley Cheese Store is simply amazing!
I always stop here when I have a delivery in the region! It is absolutely worth driving out of my way! The deep fried cheese curds are the best! The string cheese is like none I’ve ever had! After a week on the road my refrigerator in my semi is empty, so I really stocked up this time! The aged cheddar is mind blowing. My Mom loves Swiss cheese, so I bought her a big chunk. Time and appetite permitting, I will eat at their deli next time, without hesitation!

Not just a Cheese store but knick knacks, mustards and sauces, jams and a small sandwich shop. Still we just came for the string cheese. PHENOMENAL STRING CHEESE. not like a gas station but thick and as you pull apart the cheese multiple strings come layering off. The cheese is slightly salty which I love. It is now a must whenver we see the sister in law up in Sheboygan...not that far out of the way.

Had bought cheese popcorn and 4 year aged cheddar. The popcorn was unbelievable totally awesome. Best cheese popcorn I've ever had. Also three bags of cheese curds. Cheese curds were very good. Can't wait to try the rest.

Got some delicious 4-year old cheddar here. Haven't yet tried the 13-year old cheddar We bought. Purposely chose Cedar Valley brand cheeses. They had other labels as well that I can buy at home (we're traveling) in the grocery store, whereas we wanted Wisconsin cheese. Very good.

Nice, well stocked store with cheese, spreads, crackers, wine, beer, kitchen & outdoor gifts/decorations, Christmas, etc, etc... Equipped with a sandwich shop too with good selection of wraps, soups, ice cream. Enough seating for at least 15 people at one time. I love the cheese, trail mix & dip samples everyday. The variety & quality of cheese is the real reason we stop often. Update 6/11/22 Still love all their cheeses and menu but very disappointed in selection of gift items. 95% if items are MADE IN CHINA!!!

Great cheese store! Except no Greek Feta. Otherwise multiple choices. The only place I know that carries Pine River Hot Habanero cheddar and a Ghost Pepper cheese paste like. Used it to make my Hot Italian Beef Pizza!

This is the most amazing small cheese store you will ever find out in the middle of nowhere. It has the best best in the world string cheese. You have to buy the Ziploc bags though if you're online do not buy the regular sealed bags by the 3 lb zipper bags. To get the original. And they have so many specialty cheeses and snacks and chips I could go on and on and on along with such cute gifts and boutique items.

Great place to stop for some ice cream. Huge selection of cheese. Lots of products from other local small business sold here as well. Super friendly staff!
Brian Williams — Google review
The ice cream and cheese there are incredible. They have a great little secret there. The sandwich shop (restaurant) in the back of the store makes fresh sandwiches and soup that rivals the icecream. You can have a great lunch with dessert for two for under $30.

I have been a customer of this cheese store for a very, very long time. I purchased locally when I lived across the road and then ordered regularly when I moved. I never had any issues with the product or customer service until last month. I made an order online and asked that the curds be shipped fresh on Friday. The order was changed to ship on Monday without any discussion. I sent an email enquiry and was rudely told they cannot ship on Friday and have cheese "sitting somewhere over the weekend". Ok, how about giving me other shipping options? Ensuring that the curds would be fresh? They were being shipping in late February, mind you, not August. Then, I was accused of calling and speaking rudely to Jody, so Sue sent me an email informing me she was canceling my order. Wait. What? Apparently, some wonky attitudes are rolling downhill from the top, if you will. Unfortunately, I will no longer give them my business, as it is evident that the customer is always wrong in their evaluation. Oh, btw, Mary Jo is a doll and you should charge her with customer relations.

This cheese store is amazing. I love it there. Besides that, I go there sometimes. At least on the weekends to buy some delicious foods- like cheese, ice cream, and treats. I also eat their restaurant food & it’s amazing. Y’all should go there sometime. My fave foods is the Mac and cheese, tator tots, and mostly ice cream. I’m so glad they have a cheese store nearby. Thanks for all the great service and yummy foods. Please stay opened!😀🧀🍦
New owners can sometimes mean trouble - not in this case! I love the new "Adventure Tour". The small group (three passengers) meant more personal attention, which meant we could ask and learn about things we were interested in. The pilot/skipper was able to share a lot of knowledge about the history of the marsh. He knew of awesome places to stop and spot birds. If you're a photographer, you'll be in heaven. I was worried about sea / motion sickness on the smaller duck boat; verses the pontoon boat, it was not a problem whatsoever. It also allowed us to start, stop, and travel quickly - which was great for a breeze on a warm day...and we could get into tighter, shallower places. The new owners are refreshing, kind, and seemed to be interested in making our time with them on the boat a great one. And so they did. Thank you, I will return.

Back in business after covid with new owners. Got to meet them both. Seemed like really nice folks. We took the boat tour in the AM and got to see a ton of pelicans, the eagles, a beaver, cormorants and a lot of other beautiful wildlife while getting some really interesting history about the swamp from our guide Tanner.
They are in the process of getting a pontoon boat which should make for some nice group tours.

You will receive exactly what they promote -- an informative, entertaining, relaxing tour of the marsh. The guide is a grest story teller, full of history, lore, environmental, and marsh animal information. I've been twice, at two different times of the year, and would eagerly go again. You will be exposed to the elements, so dress accordingly. Great value and a unique experience.

Beautiful 2 hour Marsh tour! We saw so many birds including quite a few eagles. There was plenty of room, not one mosquito(I swear!),and our tour guide really knew his stuff. We were able to get some great photos! Be sure to stop at the Horicon Marsh Visitor's Center/Explorium across town too! So much to see and explore!

Fun day kayaking with my daughter on the Horicon Marsh yesterday. Very impressed with the proprietors at Blue Heron Landing. Wonderful people who bend over backwards to make sure everything goes smoothly and everybody has a good time. We rented kayaks and paddles for our 3-hour adventure. All equipment was in excellent shape. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The marsh was picture perfect on a lovely fall day. We will be returning again next year.

What a great place!! The pontoon boat tour was very informative and we saw quite a few different birds on the marsh! The little shop and bar/eating area was very welcoming as are the owners! Will definitely be back next summer to do some kayaking!

Beautiful spot for a coffee and pastry place, which I guess it partly is. But I heard from someone today it is also a bar. Like this little town needed another bar.

Always a wonderful hour spent on the marsh. Our guide, Mark, has a tremendous knowledge of birds, bird calls and wildlife in general, and he is happy to share the history of the marsh. It's always a pleasure when he is our captain. There are a number of different tours to choose from, and I would definitely recommend a sunset tour in autumn. There's also canoes available to rent, a small gift shop, and restrooms. There's a handicap accessible ramp, and they do a beautiful job with landscaping the grounds.

Took the boat tour of the marsh. The owner was very knowledgeable about the birds and the history of the marsh, which was really interesting. There's a little gift shop and bar inside and a place to eat a picnic lunch. Husband and wife owners put a lot of love in ownership, you can tell! Loved it!
Delicious. Simply put—everything is so tasty and I love that it’s family owned. Definitely a mandatory stop if you’re passing by!!

What a wonderful assortment of products, cheese and sausage of course with samples galore but also chocolates, jams, canned veggies and wines etc...the staff was friendly and helpful and in all ways this was a great experience...the one thing that struck me when we first entered is a slight musty smell..maybe cigarettes? You forget about it as you shop but its just not the best first impression when you first walk in...I will still readily go back, the cheese is outstanding

Ah, Wisconsin. Home of cheese. And when one thinks of Wisconsin cheese, one must think of Schultz's Cheese Haus. A bonafide classic establishment peddling all sorts of edible delights from meat sticks to chocolate to wine to crackers, and yes, cheese. Plenty of free samples to be had whilst choosing what to take home, and trust me, you'll want to take home more than you can think. Friendly staff inside and a relaxing shaded outdoor area to enjoy a quick wine-and-cheese snack.

It was OK. The samples were nice. Lots of merchandise for Packers, some for bears and Vikings too. A handful of good cheese options, but the place stank of cigarettes. Plenty of parking was available, there was a nice picnic area had it not been so cold out. The prices were fairly reasonable.

This post is in error, review is of parnell tower (I think), photos are of Mauthe Lake. I'll fix asap. Lots of stairs. Of course stairs up the tower, but there are a lot of stairs leading to the tower. Not good for hip, knee or back issues. I'd prefer a hill VS the stairs personally. Good view of trees. Probably best in fall. We stopped in spring so mostly just bare trees.

It is simply amazing at this time of year. I already have over 10 lb of black raspberries from the forest and about a pound of red raspberries but they're still ripening up right now. The blackberries are going to be ripening up in about 3 weeks maybe. Just walk the trails they are everywhere. And of course look just off the trails because you'll spot the berries when you're not looking. And if you're lucky walking along some trails you may even find cherry plum trees. They are delicious.

The Horicon National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is a great place to start your visit. The visitor center is just one stop along the way to a lifetime of adventures in the Horicon Marsh. The visitor center is located on the south side of the marsh and offers an interactive, educational experience for all ages. The visitor center offers opportunities for visitors to watch and learn about the birds and wildlife that inhabit the marsh and even spot some of the waterfowl that migrate through the marsh each year. Enjoy your visit!

Longtime racetrack on 640 acres of parklike grounds featuring NASCAR events & a driving school.
One of my favorite places on earth! I've been attending races here for as long as I can remember and this facility has been constantly improving! I have yet to meet someone that has not fallen in love with RA after attending a race. If you haven't been to Road America yet, you are missing out on one of the most beautiful race tracks in the world. They don't call it "The National Park of Speed" for nothing!

What more can be said about this iconic legend of a place for sports car racing? OK, here it goes....... Paddock area is decent sized for rig maneuvering and has limited capacity shore power. Garages are minimal but adequate. Toilet facilities are all well kept and clean. Views are available from a variety of undulating hill sides. Track surface is in good shape providing an environment for safe competitive racing. Track layout is obviously a classic and continues to challenge the best drivers with the best equipment. Food options are available on site depending on the event and the day.

I've been to a lot of race tracks but this will always be my favorite 🖤 not only is the track amazing but the whole venue is great! Spectators can watch from basically anywhere, the only down side might be for people who don't walk or get around well, but they do have golf cart rentals. On non big event weekends you can just drive to most corners to watch but on big event weekends you can not. The food stands and paddock shop are also great!

This place is so awesome! I love that most of the viewing is done from INSIDE the track, not around the perimeter. You can get very close to the cars when they are not in action, and there is an abundance of vendors with attractive wares.

Love Road America. This was our second year driving up from Indy to go to the INDYCAR race and will definitely not be our last. The track is amazing and I love how you can see so many different angles on the racing with just a short bike ride. We did upgrade to electric bikes this year which made it way easier to get around as there is a lot of elevation change inside the track. If you’re looking for the best road course in America this is the place!

Road racing at its finest. I recently stated in a post that Road America might be my 1st love. I grew up watching races here. Pulling in this weekend to watch my daughter race at the karting track had me very nostalgic. This facility is top-notch. It's not all about racing, though. They have cruises around the rack, runs on the track, tons of trails, and the list seems endless. Highly highly recommend. If you aren't into racing, still take a drive through. I bet you'll find a nook or cranny that you fall in love with.

We held our annual staff retreat in the Walnut Room which accommodated our group of 75 very comfortably and allowed for space to socially distance. The Walnut room has a very nice patio and overlooks the beautiful landscape that the Wade house has to offer. Our staff also enjoyed going for a hike during their lunch break as well as touring the museum. The bathrooms available to guests were clean, orderly, and easy to find. Our anniversary party in the Carriage Pavilion was perfect as well. The Carriage Pavilion itself is set back in the woods. Our guests had no issues finding the Carriage Pavilion and loved how serene the landscape was. The space has a nice bar area fixed in the corner of the space and the lights hung from the ceiling beams. The staff at the Wade house were nothing but accommodating and so pleasant to work with. They were always available to answer our many questions and always willing to offer suggestions. I would highly recommend the Wade House for your next event, business meeting or social function.

Very informative guided tour of the property and of the family history in Wisconsin. The tour included a horse drawn wagon ride through the farm land and woods out to the homestead. Then a tour in the blacksmith barn to watch and learn from a demonstration . A guided tour through the entire Wade house, 3 floors of rooms. A horse ride back to the museum and a self walking tour of the carriage museum collection with interactive displays. Well worth a trip to spend time, back into history.

The Wade Museum is a lovely reflection on a mode of transportation that was key in the development of society.
Today, transportation by a horse is similarly appealing in the pleasures of riding and maintaining such profound animals which have had a profound effect on all of us.
Plus you can enjoy an "Old-time" horse and trailer ride around the property!
Also contained within the museum is a detailed display of Frank Lloyd Wright's works.
Worth the trip to the Elkhart lake area.

Tips:
1. The first rides out to the Wade house don't leave for an hour after opening time on weekends. You can walk to the house, but it's a 15 minute walk and tours don't start until 11:15 anyway.
2. The Cafe is closed. You can buy junk food for a few bucks, but it's not a meal.
3. Don't let the not-so-friendly guy at the visitor center scare you off with his pronouns.
The staff at the Wade house, blacksmith, sawmill, are all fantastic. Wade house staff have lots of knowledge to share, and really seem to love what they do!
They have sheep out in the pasture who are all very friendly. If you stand by the fence, they'll come over to say hi!
Our family spent about 4 hours there, but it may have been shorter if the transportation was running before 11am.

My experience was very calming and amazing. My massage was perfectly relaxing, the meditation area with the dripping water was so calming, and the hot tub was a perfect spot to decompress afterwards. I didn't order food in the spa, I went to the restaurant after but it was delicious.

I just hosted my bachelorette Spa Day with this facility last Saturday. It was a group of 11 women including myself. We were greeted kindly at the front desk, offered water and given a complete tour of the spa before our services began. The spa is absolutely gorgeous, tranquil and calming and offered several areas to hang out throughout the day while our large group was accommodated. Each member of the party enjoyed their services and several even purchased the recommendations given by the Spa. They use all organic facial products. The women at the front desk were always eager to answer any questions we had, ordered our lunch for us and were able to charge us all separately once the day was complete. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I will be going back. The signage / directions to get to the spa could have been better, several of us got lost or had to be drawn maps by the Hotel's front desk.
Also just an FYI - if you book a service and do not cancel 24 hours before, expect to still have to pay for full services & gratuities.
Valerie Rivera — Google review
I am a frequenter of the spa amenities wherever I travel, and this was not it. They offer you two whirlpool options, one indoors and one outdoor, and a dry sauna as well as a salt room for an additional charge. The facilities themselves need upgrading neither whirlpool the jets were working properly. We had booked a couple's experience, and it really just includes a private tub and then a couples massage. For the price, it was not worth it. The overall facility, staff, rooms and massage were on par with other spas so why charge twice as much? Would love to come back when we return to the Osthoff, because we love it here, but will not be paying what they charge again. They should lower prices to be in line with other spas. I live in a major city and my monthly visits are less than a massage or facial here.
Jess Ayers — Google review
Usually I would only choose a massage or facial, but am so happy I decided to try a Body Treatment for the first time - the Ancient Cedar Pedissage. The scrub on my legs was so relaxing and my skin has never been so soft and silky. The head and scalp massage - icing on the top!
Jamie Skelton — Google review
Really enjoyed my massage and the amenities. Robes and sandals were comfy, staff was pleasant and helpful. I would go again, but I only gave 4 stars for a few reasons. First, there are very few signs directing you where on the property the spa is. The entrance is not super obvious, so better signage would have been helpful. There is also not enough parking overall for the resort, so we had to park on the street and walk to the spa. Also, the website could be more informative. I didn't see any info about the locker room/shower facilities, so I feel I would have prepared differently if I had that information. Finally, the shower doors have a frosted rectangle in the middle that doesn't do a whole lot for coverage, and no hooks for robes and/or towels. So if you plan to shower there, be prepared to bare it all for anyone in the locker room to see.

The pedicures we got were very good. the spa it's self is subpar in comparison to others. two whirl pools and one dry sauna....that's it!! the jets didn't work well in the whirl pools. The sauna was old not an infrared. they had an empty salt room you could use if you booked an appt and paid an additional fee---no thanks. Prices were steep, but the service was good.

Completely rude and unprofessional. I made a reservation online. Checked in. Waited for an hour in their meditation room to find out they completely forgot about me. Their online booking tool does not work. The staff could not have cared less about their waste of my time.

We are returning for a second "Spa Day" outing with family, and though past experience was positive from treatment/sessions/massage therapists, the spa itself is not being accommodating to our group.
According to their policy they do not allow Saturday day pass to the spa, which is completely reasonable. What is not reasonable, is they do not have any appointment availability for the services that we want to fulfill the last person and they will not make an exception to allow an extra body into the spa facilities for an hour, while the rest of people are enjoying their spa day. I expect more when we are paying over $700 for the morning of services. I suppose they need to watch out for the people that would spend 11 hours lounging, using up the complementary towels and coffee. I wish I had cancelled all our appointments ahead of time, instead of excluding one person from our group, but I will know for next time to book elsewhere.

This is a nice spa with reasonable prices. I think it is good value for what you pay. Our massage was average, but again more affordable prices.
Outdoor whirlpool was nice in winter, jets weren’t really working though.

First experience here. Spa amenities are nice, massage was great. The pedicure service was meh. I had dealt with a group of loud, obnoxious women from 1pm-5pm, they ending up giving me a migraine as they were very inconsiderate to the quiet rule, even though you have to sign paperwork regarding this, brought this up to a staff member, however was not addressed. If you want to be loud and obnoxious, go to a bar or the hotel sauna and whirlpool, future advice is to please be considerate of others who are trying to relax at the spa. Won’t return.

The girl at the front desk was extremely rude and condescending. My sister arrived 15 min early for our salt room appointment. I was 5 minutes late as I had parked at the wrong entrance. While my sister was waiting the lady made it VERY clear that if everyone wasn’t there on time we were not going to be allowed in as there would be no more room for us (there were two other people in the room with me and my mother and sister). I arrived and politely apologized stating I had trouble finding the place. The lady was extremely rude, cut me off mid sentence and shoved a pair of socks in my hand. She made some comment about being quiet in the changing room. I went and changed quickly. She made sure quite rudely to point out that we would be paying full price and getting less time due to being late, of which I had already assumed. Before walking in the salt room my sister and mom and me laughed about something and she angrily told us to be quiet because other people were in there. At the end of the appointment the lady extremely loudly knocked on the door announcing aggressively that time was up. I may not be a regular at this spa but I have frequented many other spas, and never had this quite of rude treatment. I am a licensed cosmetologist and worked in customer/ client serving industries for over 15 years. This treatment was appalling. We drove an hour to get there to celebrate my birthday and that was incredibly disappointing and embarrassing quite frankly.

Do yourself a favor and book a massage with Johny at Aspira Spa. I can’t even put into words how amazing he is at massage techniques - especially if you prefer higher levels of pressure and/or deep tissue massage. Absolutely incredible!
The rest of the spa is very relaxing and peaceful, especially in late fall when the resort and town aren’t soo busy. The staff was very warm and welcoming and you’re able to stay as long as you like and enjoy the meditation room and hot tub/sauna.

We had a great experience. My husband loved his massage. I got the anti-aging facial from Brianna and it was AMAZING! She was excellent and the Dr. Dennis Gross products used were so effective. Highly recommend a facial with Brianna! The spa itself is nice but doesn’t have a steam room. The only water features are an indoor hot tub and an outdoor hot tub. But still a nice, relaxing place!
Waterfront outdoor area with a quaint lighthouse, carousel & mini train ride, plus boat rentals.
Very large park here in Fondy. The Eastside Park has a great dog area. We did litter pick up there and got treated with seeing a ton of beautiful song birds. There are ample amounts of garbage bins around the park for people to dispose of trash. The bathrooms are clean. We were picking up winter garbage. There's an area that provides life vests for kids too. There's a beautiful lighthouse, flowers that are planted, and not to mention the Christmas lights. It's a great park for everyone

Very quiet place to take a walk , enjoy time with family and friends , or even with your dogie like I did !
On day like this , it should be crowded with people who actually live there .
Noticed lots of cars from out of state…
I think the locals don’t appreciate what they have and taking it for granted!

This is a beautiful park on Lake Winnebago with many fun things to do! We enjoyed riding the train, walking on the nice paths, looking at the various boats, and viewing the colorful, well-maintained gardens. We didn’t stay long enough to ride the carousel, visit the petting zoo, rent boats, use the playground, or climb to the top of the 40-foot lighthouse (which is free, and is open from May 1-Oct. 15). Next time we will plan to stay longer!

A gem of a park! Just gorgeous. There is beauty everywhere and plenty to do. There is a train, carousel, and spinny ride that require a ticket to ride. The small petting zoo is free. Kayak and paddle boats are for rent. There is a large playground. You can go up to the top of the lighthouse and have a breathtaking view of Lake Winnebago.

Very nice park to visit in Fond du lac Wisconsin especially in the summer Time. Gorgeous sunsets. Lac winnebago is a shallow lake and pretty windy. It is also worth visiting in the winter time especially around Christmas to see the special holiday light show. A very Park for the residents and visitors. You can park and walk around. Very nice for photography ⚽😀⚽

What an awesome park this is. We went there for the first time about a week ago. It was a little chilly out but we saw a couple deer in their deer park. We will have to go back when it's warm to see the train and petting zoo. Anyone looking for a fun place for all different aged kids on a nice day, this os definitely the place to go. Pack a lunch and make a day of it.

Spent a great afternoon at Lakeside Park. It has beautiful views and tons of walking area and places to sit. If visiting Fon Du Lac at the very least drive through this wonderful park. This park is a great place to take pictures, enjoy a picnic, walk the dog or just enjoy beautiful views of Lake Winnebago.

Such a lovely park with lots to do for the entire family. Sadly the lighthouse is closed (been so for months now). Cute petting zoo, mini train, beautiful waterfront lake walking loop area. Furnished with lots of flower beds and pathways. It would be a great venue for a wedding especially at the double gazebo area.

Can't believe I have never been here before! Somebody recommended it as a good fishing spot and I can definitely agree. Everybody that was fishing was catching fish after fish! The park is clean, There are so many interesting things to look at, lots of trails to walk, and beautiful lake Winnebago looks like an ocean. Highly recommend!

It was a lovely and tranquil place.
We got there before the sun came up.
We wanted to see one more vacation sunrise somewhere on the road.

We enjoyed our lunch from Fresh Fit here. Very beautiful and spacious park. Flowers and trees are so gorgeous. This park made me feel peaceful and calm. We saw ducks and some other birds as well as goats and bunnies at the little zoo area. Plenty of parking throughout the park. Has restrooms inside as well as porta potty. Tons of playground equipment for kiddos of all ages. Also has a nice water splash pad. Has a train ride and carousel ride as well ~ these are paid rides. You can also rent a canoe or paddle boat, although the water did look a bit yucky. We saw people fishing as well. Tons of beautiful flowers for those lasting memories and photos. The lighthouse was open too. Lake Winnebago is spectacular with all the boats. I definitely recommend going here!!!!

I'm amazed at how well they keep up with the park! I haven't been to the park in years while visiting family, decided to take a few hours and check it out, and was very impressed. The only thing I would add would be some kind of gift shop and a restaurant that is open all year. The grounds were kept in impeccable condition and the Lighthouse was wonderful as last ti.e I saw it.

A nice park. Several play structures, a kids zip-line, swings and the like. We went on a weekday in the afternoon and found the park mostly empty. There are lots of trees for shade and benches for when you can't chase your little one any more.
They have a couple rides for which you can purchase tickets. These are older pieces of equipment that appear to be well maintained. Their kiddie train is pretty cool. So many trains have replaced the engine with a garden tractor. This one has the original engine (although it's now using a gas engine). If you enjoy larger scale models, pay attention to the wheel assemblies. They look pretty accurate.
Overall, a nice place to let kids run and have fun

The rain could not keep us from Art on the Island 😃 Turns out, it really wasn't raining that much and I was very glad we decided to go.
Lakeside Park is most definitely a park you cannot describe the beauty to someone. It has so many little places you are just left saying, "Wow! This is just incredible!". Being there on a day with zero wind makes for great reflective photos of the foliage and sky.
You can lose yourself in the ginormous (it's a word 😆) trees and water surrounding everything. What wonderful place to cleanse your thoughts in as you walk all the bridges.
It is another great Wisconsin city park to take celebratory pictures in whatever the occasion.
I'm definitely going back again this summer. If you've never been here, you should put this on your list of parks to visit this summer. If you have younger children the play areas will be a joy to them and my teenager loves the view of the lake and all the bridges.
Kudos to the city of Fond du Lac and the people who maintain the park 👍.

We absolutely love going here. My daughter saw that Little Farmer opened up for the season today so we had to go. Was not busy at all when we went which was enjoyable in itself. It's very beautiful right now with all of flowers. The caramel apples are by far the best around! Plenty of parking and so many fun things for the kiddos to do and adults too! In fall they have apple picking and pumpkins. A very nice area for kids to play. Porta potties and hand washing stations as well as hand sanitizer. Friendly staff overall. Cute gifts for purchase. I HIGHLY recommend going here!

Just a little FYI the hayrides are on weekends only.

For as far back as my memory stretches, our visits to Little Farmer have been a cherished tradition. Just recently, we brought our children there to mark the commencement of the school year, and it turned out to be an exceptional experience. We timed it just right, avoiding the bustling crowds and the extremes of cold or heat. The atmosphere was pleasantly moderate. The best part was that the place wasn't overly crowded, allowing us to indulge in extended playtime according to the kids' wishes.
Following our enjoyable time, we made our way to the caramel apples stand - a staple treat that never disappoints. The apples were generously coated in delectable caramel, a true delight. Naturally, we couldn't resist picking up an apple pie and an assortment of baked goods to take home. Anticipation for our next visit is already building up!

Fall apples, pies, and pumpkins ❤️ Love this place. It can get very busy however, but they do accept plastic (as I am cashless) which is awesome. Highly recommend visiting!

We visit Little Farmer almost every year. My 9 y/o son loves the play area. That kept him busy for a few hours today. The racing area where they have the pedal go kart like bikes is his favorite.
Hayride operator today was very friendly. Ride lasts about 15 minutes. Tickets are same price for every age- $5 per person.
Something to be improved on would be the process of getting carmel apples. I've never been there and seen it run the way it was running today. One young kid taking your orders on a piece of paper, then get in line to pay. Then go stand while some very young teens run in and out with orders. People couldn't hear names being called because crowd size waiting/talking and kids were not speaking up. Another guy in line mentioned how he didn't understand why it was being done so inefficiently when how it was done in the past was so much more seamless. Carmel apples with toppings are fairly priced and worth the wait!
We plan to make the half hour drive to visit a few more times this year!

I was really looking forward to visiting the spa for a little relaxation! I was very impressed with the ambiance and relaxing environment of the spa. The girl at the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming. The girls performing the services were also very nice.
Unfortunately, my services weren't anything special. I had a pedicure, which was okay - not very thorough. My mom also had a pedicure and she left with a huge callous on her toe that was never touched. We were both pretty disappointed. I am a licensed cosmetologist, so I do have pretty high expectations, since I know how to do pedicures.
I also had a massage, which was nice, but I wasn't impressed. I have had, maybe 5 massages in my life, and this one was probably the least helpful. I didn't walk out feeling refreshed at all.
I'm not sure that I would go back again.

My wife and I just spent a February day here and loved it. Having not been here before, I was shocked at how large and nice the facility was. I have been to American Club, Kohler 10+ times and I think Elan Brio is just as nice.
The locker rooms are beautiful and include a huge steam room and whirlpool. There is a large community relaxation pool set at 95 degrees. There is a nice dining area with a warm fireplace in the center, where we had a hummus board and charcuterie plate that was a 10 out of 10.
And we had a wonderful couples massage by two great, professionally trained massage therapists. All the staff here were kind and made us feel welcome.
I can’t say enough about this place. I’m thrilled someone re-invested in it and opened it back up. It’s a wonderful amenity for Green Lake.

The woman serving the tastings was friendly, she knew a lot about the winery and answered our questions with patience. It was fortunate we were there when it wasn’t busy.
The pizza here is outstanding. We had the Garlic Twins without meat. The salads were also good - you could tell the dressing was house made.

The EAA Aviation Museum is a fascinating museum that showcases a wide range of historic airplanes and offers hands-on exhibits for children to enjoy. Visitors can learn about the evolution of flight, from its origins with the Wright Brothers to modern space travel. The collection includes personal homebuilt aircraft as well as commercial planes. During summertime, visitors can take advantage of trolley tours that explore outdoor hangars where they can see even more planes up close.
Great place to learn and see all types of planes. The children's spot is cool for everyone and you can sit in a jet! If you live in the area and haven't gone, I suggest a trip. In the summer it's better because they open the outside hangers and you can take a trolley and see even more planes.

Self guided tours with staff walking around to answer questions. Friendly staff, nice gift shop area. Even if you don't have kids, go to the kid zone and go up to the 3rd floor Control Tower. Have your picture taken with you in the Raptor (Maverick not included 😄). Really a cool place for kids and adults. Plan to spend minimum 3 hours if you enjoy reading about the planes. The only negative was many of the hands on activities were out of order (most of them, actually). Great museum...Highly recommend!

This museum is a must see for anyone who likes airplanes or history! It shattered our expectations in the best way. We had heard it was big and interesting. Wow, it was huge! There are so many planes of all shapes and sizes. We loved reading the history of how things evolved in aviation. We spent way longer than expected just taking it all in. We enjoyed that the displays were dynamic, planes at crazy angles, displays that moved or were interactive. It was a hit with both young and old. The areas showed different aspects of aviation history, from the Wright Brothers, through wars, and into space. Highly recommend it!
We went on a Saturday morning and they were not busy. A few families but we didn't have to cross paths there was so much to see. I can't wait to go back!

One of our stops in 2022 when touring Wisconsin on a father son road trip! The city of Oshkosh is well known for its amazing Air Shows but the museum is just as good! My son and I were here for hours taking in everything it had to offer! There is so much to see and do, it felt like it never ended! No matter your age, from 9 to 92, you will find plenty to do and see! They have a top notch kids play area! Interactive displays! Flying simulators! Live science stations! Film presentations! A vast miniature model display! Planes and heirlooms dated throughout history! And so much more!!! The facility is very clean, nice and cool and very easily handicap accessible. A family could easily spend the afternoon here and go home with smiles and dreams of flight! I know I did! I wanted to get my pilots license right then and there! You would be missing out on an absolute treasure by not coming here! Highly recommend!!! 10 stars!

Ok so I went during the EAA Oshkosh Air Show so they let me in for free because I was wearing the wrist band. Even if you had to pay, it is still good value.
There is a room dedicated to early flight including a replica Wright Brothers 1903 Flyer and Charles Lindberg's Spirit of St Louis. There is a racing/air stunt room which was great, too, a record setting section with a replica of the Voyager aircraft plus a library and a kids room.
It was crowded, although that was due to the airshow.
The restrooms were clean and the staff were friendly. They had a gift shop with great caramel fudge!

Great museum, the displays are well spaced with seating areas throughout. The displays themselves are well thought out, and the majority of them are focused on the evolution of aviation and the record-breaking aircraft that have been used to do it. There are also exhibits for space and military programs as they also helped shape the history of aviation. You can tell that the museum and its members care about the history of aviation.
JD Zakerski — Google review
Very fun! It's definitely worth going to. It shows how men and women were able to fly these airplanes and even gives you simulators for kids or even adults to have fun in!

Great museum with knowledgeable docents. The history and variety contained in this museum is impressive. Aviation is not a hobby or interest of mine but I really appreciated the museum and would visit again. We got a lovely guided tour and learned about the Wright brothers, to military planes, to planes that have been into orbit. The gift shop was nice as well. This is a well maintained museum that is captivating for all ages including lots of historical details on the placards and interactive demonstrations for kids.

Amazing experience when we held our banquet here. Rob the AV guy was so helpful, all of the staff was amazing. The room was awesome and perfectly set up. Food was catered by LaSures and was great. Highly recommend for your next event.

Went with my husband and enjoyed looking at everything. I took massive pictures but there's too much to look at to take that many pictures. Place is massive and has two stories. I enjoyed the interactive displays and looking at all of the lego builds of airplanes. We looked at military planes and novice prototypes.
I don't recommend high heels or flip flops unless you have strong feet because there is a lot of walking involved and every direction you can look, there is something to see.
Heather Holden — Google review
Very cool museum with tons to look at. My kids especially enjoyed the space area where you could hold an asteroid and touch the moon. Lots of great planes to look at and some fun exhibits too with lots of video to watch. Place was pretty much empty but could be just that it was New Years eve (shocked they were even open).
Taking off a star though as most of the kids exhibits were broken or out of service - Hot Air Balloon was offline, one of the robot hands lifted but didn't grab and the other grabbed but did not lift, the RC flier exhibit was out of service, the flying simulator joystick was broken. But of course if you don't have kids this is pretty much a non-issue.

I'm rating this not because I visited the amazing EAA Aviation Museum, but because I attended the Oshkosh Celebration of Lights held on EAA grounds, and Google automatically tagged this location. The museum is always 5 stars, but the holiday drive thru was spectacular! Pics from 12-16-23

Young Eagles flights!!!!
We went to this aviation museum with a group of friends, and 5 out of the 6 kids got to do the Young Eagles flight experience! The pilot they got to fly with was the gentleman on the Young eagles flyer. He has flown with over 1000 students. Great people 10 out of 10 we will definitely return if we are in the area. They museum also has lots of other things to see and learn about.

If you come to Wisconsin you can't miss a visit to this museum. The volunteers are great and there are so many things to see. In summer season they also offer a tour on a 1929 open cockpit biplane
Seasonal 8-acre zoo with a rotating roster of 30-50 native & exotic animals each year.
Kids love the new playground. Best to go during the week to beat out the crowd. The zoo is always a treat and the beach is icing on the cake.

New playground that is currently my kids all-time favorite! There is play equipment for all ages from toddler to pre-teen, so they all enjoy it!
The free zoo is also a fun spot to walk through, not always exciting, but it is clean and beautiful. The smaller animals are always the best part and the most fun to see!

Is an absolutely beautiful park. I haven’t been to the zoo yet but I’m sure going to be going soon. I found lots of gorgeous places to sit down and relax. The park is set up beautifully with lots of open areas. Lots of space to walk around with the animals. It has a natural beauty that I enjoy.

Love having a park so close and with so many things you can do depending on your mood.
A free zoo, a swimming spot, plenty of climbers for younger kids, plenty of beautiful places to walk, run or bike.
Places to sit in a chair and read a book or just watch the things happening on the lake.
When I need to get away from the noise of life, and don't feel like driving far away, I'm very glad I can just steal away to a nice place like Menominee to reset 😁.

It's a small zoo, but being free as well, is a wonderful experience for the kids and adults too, and for those pooped out parents it's not all that bad of a walk around, The otter was adorable, the kids loved it, always love coming here so grateful and appreciated to be able to come there, the nostalgia for the kids was happy, funny memories and cool since it's been a few years since they went

Very happy we decided to stop in. My first time here was spectacular. There wasn’t a lot of people there, so I didn’t feel bad taking my time. It’s a cute little zoo with huge future potential. The future plans for this zoo look amazing and will definitely get my donation along with more visits. Nice to bring the entire family for a quick zoo visit. We spent around 30 minutes here and didn’t spend a dime. Great addition to a lovely Saturday.

All of the animals were where you could see them. The zookeeper we spoke to was very nice! The only thing that kept this from 5 stars was the water in the wolves area. It's nasty. I hope they have clean drinking water elsewhere.
Local history exhibitions & programs delving into 13,000 years of human presence in the region.
This was a nice weekend experience. All in all, took us about an hour. It's not huge by any means, but it's also only $8 per adult, which is acceptable, especially after having visited as many cities as I have where something like this could have easily run three times as high for a similar experience.
I didn't take any pictures of the main exhibits, but I did take a good chunk of the attached house, which is included with museum admission. They also rotate exhibits frequently to my understanding, and I can only recommend anyone swing by on a gloomy afternoon. We definitely don't regret it.

Interesting museum inside a lovely mansion. It's very eclectic but what they have is fairly interesting. There are some interactive displays that would appeal to children and there is an apostles clock that will play on the hour and that is well worth staying to see. I recommend 30-40 minutes.

When I first walked in I thought there was no way I'd spend more than 25 minutes in here. 2 hours later we wrapped up. The Apostle clock is amazing. I can't wait to come back when the upstairs is done.

Was lucky enough to catch the Rodin exhibit from France. I was deeply moved by his sculptures looking into the eyes and the way Rodin was able to convey emotion through hands and body positions is incredible as a former dancer I too used my hands and position to convey a mood or emotion. Influcenced heavily by Micheal Angelo but in my humble opinion his females were far superior because unlike Michael Angelo Rodin used actual female models. The gardens are simply breath taking!

I'm SO glad we went! I had some reservations taking a six year old,for numerous reasons but she absolutely fell in love with the whole house! It was,as expected, decorated for the holidays and each room was beautiful! This was my first time visiting here in over 40 years and the only thing that I recognized was the Apostle Clock and the gorgeous staircase. We went to the front desk first and the woman who answered our questions was so friendly and helpful...she explained the various things to do and see, especially geared towards children-awesome. She gave us a colorful paper with pictures of 20 different elves that are"hidden"throughout the museum and the kids check off each elf as they find them! That alone kept my little one interested as well as the VERY cool fact that the museum actually ENCOURAGES them to touch things! This was really unexpected,I planned on an afternoon of"don't touch"and"be careful"but yay! Just the opposite was happily true! This certainly was not the museum of MY childhood! I highly recommend bringing your young ones if they're 5yrs or older or the interest may not hold for long. For my little one,2 hours was just enough time and she spied 17 elves!!!! Definitely will return!

We specifically went to enjoy the Titanic exhibit. It was very well organized, educational, and interesting for all of the children in our party which ranged from Age 5 through age 14. They especially appreciated receiving the Titanic boarding pass that included information about a real Titanic passenger and then finding out at the end of the experience whether or not they had survived the tragedy. Would highly recommend visiting while the exhibit is still there.

The Paine Art Center and Gardens is a stunning estate designed in the historic English-country style. It features breathtaking display gardens and a rotating gallery with various art exhibits. However, some visitors have noted that the upkeep of the grounds could be improved to ensure that all pathways are well-lit for safety purposes. Despite this, it is an idyllic location that provides a sense of tranquility and joy, perfect for relaxation or spending time with loved ones.
We recently had our wedding ceremony at The Paine in the conservatory and it was absolutely beautiful! We had the pleasure of primarily working with Laura as well as multiple interns along the way and every single one one of them were prompt, polite, professional, accommodating, and friendly. The Paine is nothing but breathtaking, and I am so thankful that they have such a great team to coordinate with. They were organized and communicative throughout the entire process which made planning the ceremony so easy – they truly have everything down to a T! The day of the wedding went seamlessly thanks to their talented team…they showed up very prepared and had thought of literally everything to make the day easiest on us as the bride and groom. It was truly a great experience and completely exceeded expectations. (PC: Something Unique Film)

It was a lot of fun! This Christmas theme was The Nut Cracker. You could read a page about the story in which you were looking at.
Another fun thing to do is find the little mice that were set up in some of the rooms!
Look out! There's one atop that blue cake!
We could tell very much work went into the rooms! So much detail to look at!
Lastly, a very, very nice gift shop that was reasonably priced!

Hearthstone Historic House Museum is a 19th-century residence that used to be powered by hydroelectricity. Visitors can enjoy guided tours and exhibits at the museum after ringing the bell and paying $10 per person. The tour lasts around two hours and includes a guide who takes visitors through each room, showcasing beautiful woodwork throughout the house. At the end of the tour, visitors are allowed to roam in the basement for some hands-on activities.

My husband and I stopped in for a tour and WOW - this surpassed all of my expectations. I love history, especially old buildings and homes, and this was one of the coolest things I’ve seen. The gentleman who gave us the guide, George, was incredible. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about this home and all the history connected to it. I learned more in this one hour tour than I ever could have expected. George made me feel genuine excitement moving from room to room in that home. I plan to go back around the holidays to experience the old-time Christmas feel surrounded by the decorations enveloping that historical home. Absolutely beautiful museum. Still in the process of being restored, so don't be shy about letting them keep the change after you pay the $8 entry fee.
Staff is all volunteer, and their live and respect for history is glowingly obvious. At least 1 of the volunteers is from one of the families who owned and lived in the house.
The community's appreciation for the foundation's work to save the house is also evident; almost none if the furnishings are original to the house. All of the incredibly valuable filler pieces were either donated or sold to them at below cost.
Truly a magnificent way to spend a few hours!

Beautiful home with fantastic craftsmanship. We spent about an hour on the tour with one of the sons that used to live there.
It's awesome that a home in Wisconsin was the first to be powered by electricity, have central heat, and indoor plumbing in the entire country.
Worth a visit to learn a little history (like why people say "turn" on the lights), and see some really great architecture.
We recommend it!
The History Museum at the Castle is located in a renovated Masonic temple and features displays on noteworthy Fox Valley happenings and personalities, including the renowned magician Houdini. The museum's exhibits showcase a diverse range of subjects, highlighting the region's rich history and culture. Visitors can explore fascinating artifacts and learn about significant events through interactive displays, engaging multimedia presentations, and informative tours. The museum provides an immersive experience that celebrates the past while inspiring present-day curiosity about this vibrant community.
I've been wanting to stop by forever but the timing was never right.
I'm so glad I was able to get inside this time. There's so much to see!
A very good selection of historical records for the city of Appleton. The building is an awesome piece of architecture for sure, I really enjoyed the woodwork, windows and fireplace downstairs.
The Houdini exhibit was a pleasure. There are a really good selection of hands on things to do that made it all so much fun.
The "Stone of Hope: Black Experience in the Fox Cities" was put together very well and I really enjoyed all the pictures. I'm a visual person, so there's never enough pictures😃. The stories on the display flowed along nicely.
You should stop by, the whole family can find something to enjoy and it only takes about an hour and a half.
Amy Helwig — Google review
A nice museum, though very small. The exhibits are brief and do not take long to get through. All in all plan to spend 30-60 mins total depending on how fast you read. Houdini is the exhibit still that has the most appeal, the rest are fairly dull and simple. Based on the price of admission, we were expecting much more as compared to museums throughout the rest of the state that charge the same. $10/person means a family of 3 (2 adults 1 child). Came to $27.50. The engagement and interactions you truly get are minimal. Mostly posters with facts, a lack of artifacts etc. If the price were still $5 as others have mentioned, I feel that would be more appropriate for the time and experience you get here. Times are tough etc I understand, but that means put forward some more into your museum and fill in many of your empty rooms with more for us to enjoy then you can justify charging double.
Scott Fischer — Google review
Based off of others reviews online, I was under the impression that there would be 3 levels to explore. My family of three paid full price for admission, but one level was completely closed off. We were not warned about this beforehand. I’m very disappointed and feel this is unfair. The 2 floors we did check out were very fun. The Houdini exhibit is especially interesting and very hands on for kids.

We went here on a whim to kill some time while in Appleton. The museum holds a Harry Houdini exhibit on the third floor of what was once a Masonic Temple, which of course, was interesting in and of its own right. The museum also had a traveling exhibit if DaVinci and replicas of his recovered drawings some of which you can manipulate and some of which are off limits to handling. It was neat to see some of his drawings come to life. The Houdini exhibit was neat and very hands on but I wanted to see more original pieces and relics from his life. It was cool to see how he did his tricks.

Nice experience. Self-guided tour. Small exhibits, but informative. Loved the interactive Houdini exhibit!
Mystic Majix — Google review
Kind of disappointing. Cost $10 for kids & $15 for adults. Of the very few interactive displays some didn't even work. The DaVinci set up is cool....but again....it all fails to be interactive...this is cool stuff...it should've been set up to allow kids to use it and get to understand it better. The ABC of Fox Valley display in the basement...was very very disapointing. I didnt even really understand the purpose of it...only neat thing, was some free post cards the kids could color...lol.
Over all...id say not worth the money.
Dont think i will be taking my grands back for another visit.

One of the smaller museums we have visited.
They were a little skimpy on exhibits.
Our favorite parts were the Houdini hands on exhibits and the architecture of the building.
It was worth the price of admission for the fun we had here.
We only spent about 30 minutes here.
We expected more based on how big the building appears on the outside.

It was a good time for kids in the Hudini area. It was informational very hands on. We had fun picking locks and finding out how some tricks were performed. Great exhibition for the whole family. The other exhibits were a bit disappointing. I enjoy history deeply but at the time we visited all the history was just presented in text. Large banners and walls filled with words. The kiddos and young adults did not engage with the content presented in this manner. The information contained in was fantastic but not delivered well. That part was disappointing. The building itself was beautiful and probably my favorite part of the whole visit.

Nice little museum. Limited of course given the size of Appleton, but everything exhibited was very well done and informative. We especially liked the Harry Houdini exhibit and it was very extensive and interactive. My grandkids loved performing some of the magic tricks! They even explained how he did some of most famous tricks. That exhibit was worth the price of admission!

This place was fun. It was a very small place way smaller than we thought by the size of the building. But we also didn't look into it before hand. But we were happy. The Houdini exhibit was great to see and learn about. It was nice because we went when there was not a lot of people. We would go back here most likely.

The artists should pay rent for the space and utilities, since their art is something that a 10-year old could create better. Don't waste your money and talk to the local government so they don't waste their/your money supporting this garbage. Tell them to bring in real talent. If art students don't have artistic talent, they should find a new profession and not count on the government to support them. They surely couldn't sell this stuff.

Some of the exhibits are hands on. Two floors of exhibits and copies of his artwork. Wonderful and informative placards throughout. Definitely worth the cost ...plus you also have access to the Houdini museum!

Event itself that we went to was great. However, the facility itself was a little under prepared clearly. They opened doors late and had multiple problems with their projector. The CEO also injected herself into performance, which was a bit disappointing as she was not a very good interviewer during the QA section. Despite all that the staff was helpful and it is a nice place overall. l

Beautiful place, very well organized admission, drop off & parking process, friendly ushers, very clean and upscale prices. We went to see "Clue" . Unfortunately, we and those around us had trouble hearing at times and understanding the conversations. We sat in the Orchestra rows under the balcony. It was quite disappointing, especially considering the price of the tickets. In comparison, we had recently seen "Anastasia" at Appleton North and had no trouble hearing clearly. Their sound system was phenomenal. Their performance was also phenomenal.

Pros.. beautiful facility, good production. Saw Les Miserables. A little tough understanding the lyrics, but a great job on everything in general.
Cons...... You have to pay 10 to $20 for parking unless you want to walk a half a mile. They don't have enough bartenders to get you a drink quickly enough. The second you get your drink, they announce it's time to go back in. But for next to $3 they will sell you a sippy cups so you can bring your a drink in the theater. What a racket!

First time at this venue, & the Killer Queen Experience was an incredibly amazing show!
Only negative was the endlessly long rows of seating (we were directly in the middle, front row, 1st balcony section). It was a long way to inch through the multitude of people seated to get to our spots. Once there, we didn't dare try to get out, so we were stuck for the duration, unable to leave for a drink or bathroom break. Very clastrophobic feeling. Never again, would I purchase tickets in similar seats. A break in the middle area for access out would make show-goers much safer & more comfortable.

You do need to buy a $3 plastic lidded cup if you want a beverage while watching the performance. However, you can bring it back for future performances and not have to pay the $3 again.

Fabulous performance by Derek Hough and troupe. Perfect venue to watch the performance!

This place is super cool. So beautiful and can accommodate big crowds. I liked the red carpet all over.

Note to self - the nosebleed seats are not for anyone that might need to have any leg space for over 2 hours. If a bathroom is what you need, there isn't one on the 4th floor. It will save you the hassle of looking for half the intermission. The refill discount drink service you can opt in for is them preparing the drink before intermission and leaving it out on a table without an attendant expecting you to know that it's there. This will save you the other half of intermission not waiting in line to pick up the refill.
Maybe knowing what to expect can help your first experience here. The show was great easy in and out at the door and the parking garage was not too much of a nightmare. They also offer valet for $20.

Amazing theater. They have high quality productions there and the prices are sort of steep, but you tend to get what you pay for and not much different than going to a Packer game in terms of cost and entertainment value.
Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium is a superb 5,500-seat baseball arena that serves as the home ground for Wisconsin Timber Rattlers minor league team. Beyond its primary purpose, this field has the potential to be utilized for various other events. Despite soaring temperatures reaching nearly 90 degrees, finding a shaded area under the main stand was hassle-free. The stadium's cleanliness is highly commendable; even the restrooms are immaculate.
This field is fantastic and the area is fantastic I would think this field could be used for so much more than just baseball.
The temperature was almost 90 today yet it's easy to find an area under the main where there is plenty of shade.
The cleanliness is really appealing even the restrooms are well taken care of.
This is a place where young and old can enjoy and I must say every time we go we fully enjoy ourselves...
Summertime is fantastic but when you have places like this where the care is seen in keeping the place nice it's a huge Plus!!
I highly encourage for people to come even if you don't like baseball it's a place to relax and take the family for a day!!

Attended a networking event there in February. Facility was excellent for the event with a main area and breakout rooms. Bar and food service were both very good. Great sign exposure for our group.

A comfortable stadium with many amenities! The Timber Rattlers had what seemed like non-stop action in between the innings and an engaging game. Weather didnt deter enjoying a fun night at the ballpark!

I really enjoy attending events here. The entire operation is well done. The staff is family friendly and professional. Everything from parking to concessions to bathrooms flows smoothly and without long waits. This could be a model for how it should be done.

Really nice stadium. I'd recommend sitting on the third base side in the evening or hot afternoon. Sun isn't in your eyes and early shade. Right field line is great for small kids. Room to run, sand box, and inflatables. Overall very enjoyable

What a great experience! Went on a Saturday night for family night. Lots of food and drinks to decide from. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Players interacted with the fans and free items were tossed in the stands throughout the night. Fireworks at the end were an added bonus!

We went for Donald Driver Green Bay softball tourney. This was a great experience at the stadium! And our seats were excellent. This place was fun, sweet staff, clean and well maintained bathrooms, great vendors.

We had the best seats in the house of the stadium while it was raining/misting. So glad the fireworks 🎆 still went on. The food from all the shops tasted great! We went with our girl scout troop. Always a good time!! Lots of fun!!

Nothing like a beautiful ballpark to watch a game. My wife & I were visiting our son in Appleton and found this little ballpark tucked alongside the highway. We got tickets for opening day and it was great! Love the old time feel of aluminum bench seating near the outfield. It was fun to see some up and coming MLB stars of the future. The place was spotless and everyone working there was so friendly. Best experience at a sporting event. Bought tons of memorabilia at the team store. So much to choose from. Even the food was fantastic. It got chilly towards the end and they even had hot chocolate. So going back.

We rented the cage/ pitching mound. The boys loved it. Staff was great in greeting us, making us feel welcome and getting us set up right away. Go Timber Rattlers!
Did the short but very informative tour given by the owner and 1 of the employees. Got freshly made cheese curds straight out of the tub which were the best! You can also purchase their products onsite

Love everything about this place, including the workers and we drive 1 hour (both ways) to buy $75 worth of cheesy goodness, every couple months. Union Star Cheese is D E L I S H!

Great mini tour with friendly guide/employee. Freshest, most delicious warm curds ever!

2023-Oct. There were lots of parking spaces. We arrived at 8 am on a Saturday.
Their website states that the tour starts at 8 a.m. We arrived exactly at 8 a.m. and they already started the tour. Anyways, the guy who was doing the tour, restated what we missed. Did you know that cheeses are all white and they just add the yellow color 🤔..
This is a small facility so everything is mostly hands-on. They were already salting and cutting the cheese curds when we arrived.
The Staff were pleasant.
We ended up buying freshly made cheese curds, which I think, were delicious 😋
Have a pleasant cheese tour!!

So there are as many cheese factories in Wisconsin as there are coffee shops in other states. But if you people don't stop and try this cheese maker, well, you're never know what a truly great cheese tastes like. We drive over from Wausau every few weeks. They aways have samples.

Enjoyed touring this cheese factory. Really neat to see how the make cheese. Great place to bring kids. You get to taste the fresh cheese curds at the end. They also have several varieties of cheese available for sale.

Many different cheeses of very high quality are available. My favorite is the 4 or 5 year aged cheddar, it's one of the best I've ever had. Plus fresh curds made 3 times a week. My dog and I agree, curds are an excellent cycling snack.
Brad Waldoch — Google review
Took home about $30 worth of cheese, about 6 different varieties. Each one absolutely PERFECT! I saw a couple posts about their cheddar…those are accurate. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Truly impressed by the quality and price overall. I live nowhere near this place, but plan to go back!

Fantastic cheese! It's fun to watch them make it if you get there first thing in the morning. The cheese curds are so fresh they squeak when you bite them. I've never seen more varieties of Muenster cheese, but the extra sharp white cheddar is my favorite.

Grabbed some cheese there to take back to michigan.
Swiss aged was phenomenal.
Munster habanero was HOT but so good.
Munster jalapeño is delightful with a small bite to it.
And we got Colby and it was yummy as well.
I highly recommend going here. The establishment was nice and clean and the gentleman at the counter was wonderful.
This is an annual trip for our family. Never miss a year... we have camped and only made day trips. Staff is great, you have to get there early if you want specific tube. There's places to stop and hang out along the river too.

What a fun place to go to. We had a last minute cancellation in our plans and had to think of something fast. Called the campground the day of and was able to reserve a spot at 8am. Very nice waitstaff and their bartenders/bar is very enjoyable! Highly recommend

Love going tubing here in the summer. Everything about it is great. We've only gone here for tubing so I can't speak to anything else, but everyone is always friendly & the river is so relaxing. Not to mention the free treat at the end!
Stacey Paulick — Google review
It would be great if they could include more information on their website. I don't see dates for when the Wolf River Tubing Trips open for the season. I have been trying to find that out for a week now but they don't answer their calls either. It's a shame because I am trying to plan a trip with a big group of friends for a month/months ahead of time. It's hard to plan when we don't know when they will be open.

I feel very fortunate to live close to this great place for tubing. Have gone multiple times and the staff are friendly and helpful. The cost to tube is fair and a great time has always happened. Not allowed to bring glass, because people suck and they do check coolers. Met a lot of people on the river who came from far distances to float down the river. Scenery is great and looking at the turtles basking in the sun on rocks while you float by is great. Very relaxing day to have a couple of beers and relax! One of my favorite places to ho to during the summer.

Our site was spacious and partially shaded. It was busy prior to the 4th but plenty of staff and the place was clean. Good bar food too. Fun during the day and quiet at night. Perfect!

I've never been a camper and have never been tubing.. I can't think of a more perfect experience for my first time. The river is low right now so they weren't running the long trip. So, we just went again.
They have plenty of tubes (at least for us) and the experience is GREAT! Sunscreen is absolutely required but we all got a bit toasty anyway. It's the timing of reapplying that threw us off.
As a previous reviewer mentioned, not the most kid friendly at times with tons of people out drinking and floating.
The grounds are well kept and the staff is very responsive in the event there are any issues.
I thought the prices were very reasonable.
I loved the trip, and can't wait to go again.

We weren't tubing, just camping to visit our daughter in law and grandson. Very well maintained campground. Our site, 110, was not level at all but did have lots ochecking. We probably could have traded for an empty spot but it wasn't that big of a deal. Camp office staff was kind and helpful at checkin. Plenty of things to do, shuffleboard, horseshoes, bags, sand volleyball, tubing.

Making the reservation was a nightmare. Once there it didn’t get much better. The night manager really saved the whole trip for us. She did all she could to make the mistakes others had made right she deserves a raise A+. The rest was meh. Sites were stupid small and right on top of each other. If you have a large camper don’t even bother trying to be close to the river IT WONT WORK YOU WONT FIT
River is really rocky and very polluted

I've gone here a few times and I must say its so much fun every time! You have the option of the short trip ( 2 hours ) or long trip ( 4 hours) also GLASS IS NOT ALLOWED so don't buy glass wine coolers lol. Cans and plastic only! Also its PET FRIENDLY!!! Such an amazing relaxing place to go for the day!!

One of my favorite places to go. Staff has always been very friendly bus drivers are hilarious. Can be busy during holidays and weekends but during the week sometimes you have the entire River to yourself great for kayaking and tubing. You will see lots of Little Critters like turtles and fish when the river is clear. It can be a little pricey when you're bringing your entire family for a family of 5 it cost about $75. Make sure you have some water shoes to protect your feet from the rocks as you often gets stuck on the rocks depending on water level. We like to take the 4 Hour trip always a good time will always recommend.
