If you hike to the main falls, the trail is 8.1 miles there and back. The path is well maintained, but it’s narrow and steep in portions. I’d be nervous to make this hike with kids, and most of this trail is not great for running. The hike doesn’t require any climbing per se, but we did have to navigate some fallen trees. I’m not a very experienced hiker, and I managed just fine. All that being said, the waterfall is absolutely amazing, and I believe very much worth the hike. Make sure when you reach the end of the trail, you cross the river and climb up the bank on the other side, so you can see the main falls. My friends and I hiked the trail in mid-April. Temps were in the mid-50s most of the day which made for a really nice hike but were a bit cold when we crossed the river. I recommend bringing extra socks or even an extra pair of shoes because your feet will get wet. We also dealt with a lot of mud. It was too cold to swim when we visited, but I bet this is a great spot to swim in the summer! Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks and comfortable shoes. Great for a day trip, but there are sites if you’re interested in dry camping. Also, heads up, I didn’t have cell service on most of the trail. Highly recommend hiking the Walls of Jericho!

One of my favorite hikes around! Such a gorgeous and must-visit trail!! If you like swimming, waterfalls, and a good challenge, you’ll be in for a treat. Bring plenty of water, come prepared, and be safe! After a good rain the waterfall in the cave behind the initial waterfalls would be there - I plan on going back soon to check it out!

Amazing Alabama treasure! 4 mile hike to the falls and walls. Intense hike out with 1100+ feet of elevation gain over 3 miles. Take plenty of water!
Brian Rodgers — Google review
This is a pretty cool 6.5 mile round trip moderate hike with some beautiful waterfalls at the end! You will descend about 1300 feet into a valley and scramble over a few small rock walls to reach the final waterfall. There are 3 major ones. Do not stop at the large second one after you cross the river. Keep climbing! Well marked trail using red paint on the trees. Completed this hike in March and there were plenty of rocks in the river to avoid getting your shoes wet. Wildflowers were starting to bloom but the trees were still dead. There were a ton of butterflies out. The trailhead is out in the middle of nowhere so there is no gas or food within a 30 min radius. Overall this was a great not too hard hike that rewards you with three stunning waterfalls at the end.

I went on a cold February day during the week and I had the trail entirely to myself. I took the Alabama side of the trail and total hiked 7.3 miles.
bring water resistant or waterproof shoes, a snack, plenty of water and hiking poles or a stick for the way back. On the way there are large portion was down hill, which means a large portion was uphill the way back..total killer on the thighs and glutes.
Ariannah Lambert — Google review
A well trodden path, easy to follow and not too difficult (in some areas you need to pay attention to footing). I definitely think this trail would be better with leaf off and higher water flows, but still pretty nice. Just remember, most of your elevation gain is on the way out, so make sure you have enough water
Mark T — Google review
This trail was great! A little challenging on some parts. The way back is a good work out with a slight incline uphill. Keep pushing yourself and this will be a great day outdoors!
John Blakly — Google review
A rather challenging trail compared to my previous experience of hiking.
On the day of summer hiking, I experienced some rainy weather, which made the trail become a mud creek that flows down the hill. Makes hiking somewhat difficult, not to mention there are multiple shortcuts and some other trails that go deep into the woods. Therefore I suggest you get a photo of the map before you go in.
This place does allow overnight camping, the camping spot is just a spot so bring camping supplies are needed.
The waterfall and creek at the end are beautiful and my friend drank the water with a special filter you can get.
Hiking on the way out is the difficult part when you realize you need to hike back up to the top, you need to bring plenty of water with you on hot summer days. You need to stay hydrated, especially on the way up in the hot sun.

Great place to hike, camp, and enjoy time spent in nature or away from reality. The falls were very dry with little to no water on our visit, so I plan to return when we have had more rain. Fairly easy hike into the woods but more challenging going uphill on the way out. Especially carrying all the gear from camping. The parking lot was a good size and pretty full upon arrival. There are several areas already laid out to set up camp. Great place for a moderate difficulty hiking/camping trial.
McGuire Racing — Google review
Tough hike of nearly 8 miles and 1,600 feet of elevation but the end of the trail is so worth it. There are two waterfalls plus a possible third (if it's been raining a lot) and if you can climb up the boulders at the very end to get to the pool between two cliffs. There are a couple spots to camp out overnight, with fire pits made of nearby rocks. It's so beautiful. You'll cross several places along a creek on the way there. Also saw a black king snake on the trail. It's mostly downhill on the way there, and uphill on the way back. Took me 3.5 hours. There are also port-a-potty restrooms in the parking lot. BYO hand sanitizer.

Well kept, friendly people, nice campsites and an amazing view at the end. Worth the trip. Will be back.
James VanderWier — Google review
I do not recommend doing this trail within 48 hours of any rain. It was incredibly slick and narrow. The incline is felt both to and from the base of the trail. Additionally round trip is closer to 8 miles then what the trail head states. Nice view, but be very VERY careful while hiking this one.
Meghan Ward — Google review
Great hike, possibly the most trail markers I've ever seen so really easy to navigate. Can't wait to go back when the water levels are higher. Get ready for an uphill climb on the way out. Highly recommend!
Lindsay Garlit — Google review
Great hike with an awesome waterfall at the end, don't miss the true end of the trail where a tall waterfall drops into an underground cave. The hike back has a good bit of elevation (~1300-1400) but it's worth it.

What a beautiful place. Take your time and enjoy it. Please don’t litter keep it beautiful thank you. It was a cool beautiful day drove 4 hours so worth it. We’ve had good rain so it was running beautifully
Vanessa Poteet — Google review
Nice hiking spot not a lot to see unless you make it to the water which is about 3 miles in. Unfortunately we got there too late and the other hikers along the way suggested to turn back before the sun went down. Only made it a mile in but will return again.

Gorgeous hike exploring Hurricane Mill creek, Turkey creek and Clark cemetery. Didn’t go all the way to the falls since my hiking companions were getting tired and we still had to hike back out. Numerous primitive camping areas available. Some scrambling. Moderate to challenging hike depending on how often you hike
Dee R — Google review
Kids and dogs can do the hike so I consider it moderate and compaired to hiking out west. We did in 4 hours while stopping for pictures. Rocks, roots, uphill, downhill and along some steep drops.
The visitor center at Jack Daniel's Distillery offers guided tours and exhibits historical artifacts. It is highly recommended and provides excellent service. Visitors can purchase tour tickets online or on the day of their visit. The dry county tour option is available, with an opportunity to buy a tasting ticket for an additional cost per person. The highlight of the experience is the humorous and knowledgeable tour guide, Ms Kim. Overall, the tour is superb and highly praised by visitors who often leave with purchased bottles in hand.
This was very entertaining and informative visit. Our tour guide Brandy was awesome and funny. We did the Dry County tour with our seven family members. She made the whole story interesting so that you remain attentive all the time.
The Visitor Center was welcoming and impressive and our anticipation of great tour started from there itself. This is not just an industry but an important piece of the history and heritage. This is very inspiring story of Jack and how he made the most popular whiskey in the world.
I have visited this distillery many times in the past but I still enjoy it every time. We always bring our guests here to show them important places around here. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see the bottling department running or charcoal making process by burning the wood during any of our visits.
Overall it was fun experience with some history and some whiskey making process. Must see this oldest distillery of United States.

Very detail in history from the past and into the present. I also loved they have a wall of this African American family when they started working for the company and still going into today. And telling us that its spring water , corn , wheat and barley for the making of whiskey. It's so natural and fresh. (I think I'm right on the ingredients. ) It was amazing I really enjoyed it. I believe I will drink more of Jack Daniel's whiskey more now that I see how it's made they put love and care into the product and also to its employees from when it started to even now. God Bless Jack Daniel's in your company and employees keep doing what you doing. Thanks for honoring the employees and the Green family. You are recieving the blessings from God for what you do and the employees return it back to working there. This is how a company should be run in this day of age. Thank You. 😊🙏🏾😊🙏🏾

The tour of the Jack Daniels distillery was the highlight of our Nashville vacation. It's a beautiful hour and a half drive through horse and cow farms, hills, dales and gorgeous country. Even though my husband is a Tennessee Squire and gets free tours, we chose to pay $35 each for the Angel's Share tour for the tasting. Everyone says their tour guide was the best, that a testament to Jack Daniels hiring process, because Bob, our tour guide, was the best. : ) . For $7, we also chose a JD slushy during the tour. Mine was Lemonade and JD and my husband had the regular JD and Coke slushy. Delicious! We thought we'd purchase some special bottles and ship them home only to find out it is illegal to do so. Heehee. Our only option was to pack it in our luggage but since we already had new cowboy boots : ) to pack, we had no room. Just as well, because the prices were almost triple than our prices back home in CT. We questioned why the prices were substantially higher and was explained about the dry county thing, prices reflect that. After our tour, we walked to the town where there is shops, restaurants, bakeries as well as a Harley Davidson store. Overall, wear comfortable shoes as you'll do some walking. Overall, you gotta do the tour if you're in Tennessee.

My visit to the Jack Daniel's Distillery was truly exceptional, exceeding all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, Anthony, our guide, made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. His deep knowledge and passion for the distillery were evident from the outset, adding an extra level of authenticity to our visit.
Anthony led us through an informative and entertaining tour of the distillery facilities, sharing fascinating details about the history and process of crafting the legendary Jack Daniel's whiskey. His enthusiasm and charisma made every step of the tour exciting and memorable.
Overall, our experience at the Jack Daniel's Distillery with Anthony as our guide was nothing short of exceptional. His professionalism, knowledge, and engaging personality truly made the tour unforgettable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to delve into the rich history and exquisite craftsmanship behind one of the world's most iconic whiskeys.

Loved this tour. Price is great and worth the drive from Nashville. We aren’t drinkers but it was so neat to learn the history. Our tour guide was Sean D and he was great, funny, informational and full of interesting facts. Would definitely go again and ask for him. Thank you Sean D for making our time great!

Visiting the Jack Daniels Distillery was an all around amazing experience that I highly recommended for everyone; whiskey drinkers or not. This was the starting point for our tour, but there is a ton of interesting history to learn about here before the tour even starts. This visitor center is quite new and it is well laid out, meticulous clean, and staffed with friendly, helpful staff. The tour itself was phenomenal! Rich in history and detail. Our tour guide - and I wish I'd gotten her name because she was absolutely outstanding - was so knowledgeable and instantly had an answer to ever question asked; and there were a lot of questions. I unequivocally recommended a trip to Lynchburg if you are anywhere near the area. You will not be disappointed.

Made reservations in advanced estimating an arrival as we drove up from Georgia. We arrived earlier than expected, but they were able to move my reservation to an earlier time. I believe Anthony was out guide, and he was very knowledgeable and entertaining with the information. Highly recommend the Flight of Jack Tour, worth every bit of the 90 min tour.

It was my first time visit to any distillery. Great friendly stuff. We selected the angle tour and it was amazing. They showed us in detail how the worlds best whiskey is made. The secret water was the best cool place. So lucky we could see the water flow. Tasting area was also great setup.
You get to take the tasting glasses home as souvenirs but their plastic glass.
I wish the coster were strong material as the once they gave us were paper.
They also showed us single barrel bottling area.
Visited the gift store and overall great experience. Thanks for the tour.

My guided tour was Amazing being lead by a very talented and knowledgeable X Marine, Brian R was the BEST! I truly appreciate his dedication to his craft and the company he represents. He made the tour fun and interesting. A wealth of knowledge about the distillery business and process. I was also very fortunate to meet Ms Kathy at the Tenn Squires Asso who helped me reinstate my membership and shared information about the association and my future participation. So cool that being able to share my experience and being welcomed into the community from the 1980’s was such an honor for me. Thank you to all the amazing people who made my day full and rewarding.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! I think it was chiefly due to our amazing guide Justin aka Juice! Even before our tour started and Justin knew we were part of his tour he had stopped to greet us. We were looking at the family tree of Nearest Green and Justin identified people he knew and some fun facts about them. Justin was so friendly, jovial, and informative. His wit, warmth, obvious experience were second only to his passion for what he did and where he did it. You should DEFINITELY put this on your list of things to do while in the area!

Americana. History. Whiskey. Hospitality…. it’s all here at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery and Visitor Center in Franklin. We made an impromptu visit on a Saturday afternoon and were able to get on the Angel’s Share tour without much wait. I do recommend advance purchase for tickets if you’re planning a trip to the area. The main parking lot and runoff parking area, are well-maintained and staffed with plenty of parking for those who need handicapped access. A shuttle is available. The restrooms in the visitor center were extremely clean. Staff at the ticket desk were very hospitable and helped us find the tour that was right for us. It was a warm afternoon and we appreciated the option to purchase a frosty beverage for our walking tour. Our tour guide Lea was knowledgeable and courteous, could be heard very clearly. The ambience for the whiskey flight sampling was comfortable and fun.

Absolute worth every penny. The service was great. If you can buy your tour tickets online. I did see some people get tickets the day of. We did the dry county one but you can still buy a tasting ticket after for 15 bucks extra per person. Our tour guide Ms Kim was the best part of my whole trip! She was beyond amazing and sooo funny! The actual tour was superb! Can’t say enough great things! I walked out with many bottles that I bought after the tour!

This place is one of the best distillery tours I went on. We took the Angles share tour ( pre booking is recommended) and we had lots of fun. It was raining a bit and weather was perfect so we don’t get tired in sun. Our Tour guide Debbie was amazing and she explained us the history of Jack and distillery perfectly. There process of making whisky is almost similar to everyone else except a little bit of new process which I saw only at JD distillery, which was amazing.
The tour starts with smelling the amazing slit whiskey and it smells heaven. Then Debbie explained us the history of Jack and how he started making whiskey. He had an interesting history and glad he succeeded in it.
Overall the whole tour was amazing.
We had a sample tasting at the end of tour and we got 5 samples to taste. They had different flavor profiles and tastes to it. It was fun to taste them and know the difference.
There is a shop on-site where you can buy the bottles and customize couple of bottles. I wish they had accessories on-site to buy also. But they do have a hardware store that sells JD merchandises, they do close at 5pm though and we missed it.
Overall this was an amazing experience.

We did the Angels Share tour and it’s outstanding. I’ve been on maybe 10 different distillery tours and this is up there, it’s very well done. Tasting room is also incredible! Only downside and I’m not gonna knock them for it, is the bottle shop onsite is MINIMAL.

My visit to the Jack Daniel Distillery in Tennessee was made truly special by our enthusiastic tour guide, who proudly represented the distillery as a member of the second generation working there. Their passion and knowledge shone through during the entire tour, adding a personal touch to the experience.
However, there was a downside that families with toddlers should be aware of. The tour does not allow strollers, which can make it challenging for parents with young children. I wouldn't recommend it for kids under 4 who still rely on strollers, as there is quite a bit of walking and stairs involved.
Despite this drawback, the highlight of the visit was undoubtedly trying their signature Jack & Coke. It was nothing short of awesome and provided a perfect way to conclude the tour. The blend of Jack Daniel's whiskey with the classic cola was a delightful treat.
In summary, the Jack Daniel Distillery offers an engaging and informative tour, led by passionate guides like ours. While it may not be the most toddler-friendly excursion due to the no-stroller policy, it's an excellent choice for adults looking to learn about the history of this iconic whiskey and enjoy a fantastic Jack & Coke along the way.

My experience was wonderful! We chose The Angel's Share Tour. Our tour guide was Anthony. He is probably the best guide in the distillery. He was super friendly, attentive and funny. At the end of the tour, I asked him for a photo, and he agreed to take one with me! We went in August and the tour started at 10:45 am sharp, we had a whiskey tasting and then we went shopping for souvenirs. We were in Lynchburg for almost 4 hours, it is a charming town. We would have stayed longer but we already had a tractor party booked. Go to this beautiful place, you will not regret it!

Angel's Share tour with Ashley (funny, informative, welcoming, answers any question asked!!!) was outstanding!!! Very informative for those who know a lot or just a little about the distilling process. The walk was great, just be ready for some stairs! The tour capped off with a tasting, which was very nice even for someone who gravitates to bourbon! The whole experience was awesome!

I along with my wife took the "Flight of Jack Daniel's tour" during labor day weekend last year and we have become fans of this place.
I say this as a tee-totaler that this place should be a must visit on your list if you are ever visiting Nashville. Here is the summary of our visit there:
-- Location: This place is about 3.5 hours from Atlanta and 1.5 hours from Nashville. The funny part is that the distillery is part of a dry county where drinking in not allowed *wink*wink*
-- Tickets: While we did the flight of Jack Daniels tour which is 1.5 hours long, there are many others available which are both with and without wine tasting. We had 6 different wine tasting - only a sip of their finest world famous whiskey. Booking in advance is a must
--- Tour: The tour was amazing as so was out tour guide. I forgot her name but she made sure to answer all the questions, explain the process with her wit and jokes all the time.
--- Value for Money: An absolute banger of a money. We paid $30 for the tour and it was totally worth it.
Since the visitor, I have become their unofficial promoter and I promote the place to all my friends.
I cannot recommend this place enough for the tour, the vibe and the history of Jack Daniels :)

we loved our visit to the Jack Daniels distillery, the guide was excellent and took us through all the stages of whiskey making, in addition to several stories about the life of Jack and the workers who produced this classic whiskey. The tasting room is worth the detour in itself. Take the Jack and Coke Slush or the lemonade, it's worth the price and you can't change your mind and take it at the counter.

We had a wonderful time on our Angel’s Share tour! Our guide Morgan was incredible. He did not rush us, he was very informative and knowledgeable about everything Jack Daniel’s, had a great sense of humor and answered all of our questions. He was very thoughtful in discreetly asking us if one of the people in our party needed any additional assistance due to some mobility issues and the number of stairs throughout the tour. Definitely recommend this tour, even if you don’t drink like me.

What an amazingly fun and informative tour! The sheer amount of knowledge our tour guide, Matt, has in his head was dazzling! I have no doubt that if I were to take another tour with the same man, I would still learn something new! The nearly 2 hour tour went by far too fast. We could've spent the entire day and still needed more time to take it all in. Truly, the only part of the tourbi would change would be the length of time spent... we would have loved to be able to spend more time with Matt and have been able to take more time at each stop of the tour. We will be back! And don't forget your whiskey trail poker chips as you get your map stamped.

Jack is my poison so I was excited to do this tour for my birthday. My tour was the Angel tour for 9:15 a.m on April 6th. My tour guide was Kim who is absolutely AMAZING!!! She made the tour fun, she has a very bubbly personality but not the annoying kind. Kim is funny, very informative and just all around great personality, she loves her job and you can tell. Our tour started off with a short bus ride where we got off to start the tour by foot, and get a slushie (if you purchase one, which I recommend you do). The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with a lot of photo opportunities as you can't take photos inside. Kim walked us through the history of Jack himself, how he started making the whiskey, who helped him and so much more. I love history so to hear how it all started and to see where it is today is absolutely amazing. At the end we did some taste testing. The taste testing was very interesting because as much as I like Jack I stick with what I know, so to taste the ones made of rye was new to my taste buds. After the tour we went inside to look at our picture that was taken before we went in and we were greeted by Jeff. Jeff helped us with purchasing our picture, and explained to me how the personalized branding for a bittle worked. I went and purchased my bottle of gentleman Jack, paid for it and went back to Jeff where he helped me finalize the branding portion. Jeff was very pleasant to chat with and very helpful when it came to all of my questions. I recommend this tour if you like history and love Jack. Take a tour with Kim, you're guaranteed to laugh and learn all at the same time. I'd definitely do this again.

Came out for a group work trip and we all went on the tour. The tour was great and Anthony was an awesome guide. Altogether the tour with the tasting was just over an hour and a half long but we were also one of the last groups for the day. The walk was maybe a half mile and there were decent stairs, but nothing terrible. Majority of this tour is outside, so prepare accordingly.

Due to mobility issues and my husband in a motorized wheelchair, we had the modified tour which made sure there were no stairs involved. We were the only 2 people on the 1:35pm tour today and it was incredible. Our guide, Debbie, was the absolute nicest, most knowledgeable guide we have had and treated us with care and dignity. She really made our tour special. It is a very interesting tour and would highly recommend...

We visited the distillery on 2/24/24. We did the Angel's Share Tour, our tour guide was Kyle. Kyle was a fantastic tour guide, he was funny, energetic, and knew so much great history about Jack Daniels. We were so surprised at how big this distillery is, the property is so beautiful! At the end of this tour, we got to sample five different types of Jack Daniels from the barrel. We'd recommend visiting this distillery to anyone!
Lynchburg Hardware & General Store is an official gift shop of Jack Daniels, offering a wide variety of branded drinkware, clothing, and other souvenirs. The store is a great stop for tourists in town who are fans of the famous whiskey brand. Prices are reasonable and visitors can even get a free shot glass with a $10 purchase after taking the tour. Notably, the store has a unique feature where items are made out of barrels.

Glad to have the chance to purchase a few souvenirs… they have a great selection, from cooking seasonings to front door mats, t-shirts to barrels. (The barrel shop is connected). Nice courtesy gifts too - free shot glass given when you show your tour ticket and make a $10 purchase, as well as the souvenir tin if making a $75 purchase.

Oh my gosh this place is awesome!!! We went on a dry distillery tour and it was so cool to hear about the history of it all. When it was all said and done we walked down and across the street back to the truck and asked the two guys guilding people to the shuttle and answering questions, and Barry told us to check out the Lynchburg Hardware & General Store cause that's the main Jack Daniel's store, so we did just that. There were two floors of products of every type like the golf section and the fire fighter area. There was so much merchandise it was just amazing. Everybody got their own shirt and all of them were something you could only get there. They were unique. We also got a military discount and shot glasses for every $10 bucks we spent. The store was clean and organized, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly and we all got everything we wanted.

Our tour guide Lea did an amazing job ( it was his first)!!! The property is beautiful !! And of course the flight tasting was the icing cake!!!!

Great stop while you are in town. Has a lot of Jack Daniels items to buy. Prices are as expected. If you do a tour come here after and get a free shot glass with a $10 purchase. One per person. If your a Jack Daniels fan you will find something to buy if your not then you won’t. Simple as that. They have a shop that makes “stuff” out of the barrels. That was worth coming by to check out as if you need something for your bar at home this is the place to get something.

This store has some of the nicest and friendliest staff of any store I’ve ever visited. 2 floors of nice Nash shirts, shot glasses, and other cool souvenirs.

This is the gift shop for the Jack Daniel's distillery. If you're a big Jack fan, this is the place for you. The barrel shop is attached and there are lots of cool things to look at. I got a fridge magnet and some candied nuts.

It's an old hardware store that has ties to the distillery. It is now being used as the official gift shop of Jack Daniels. It's very spacious and has unique items and gifts for the Jack Daniel's lover. My favorite part of the store was the handmade crafts made from the old used barrels.

The best selection of Jack Daniels merchandise and souvenirs on the town square! Whether you want a sweatshirt, t-shirt, dress shirt, barware, key chain, recipe book, post card, food items, you can find it here! You can even buy a used Jack Daniels whiskey barrel or half barrel here. Your ticket from the distillery tour is good for a free shot glass if you buy $10 of "stuff" - which is way too easy to do here!

Great little store for distillery... All kinds of stuff from shirts, coasters, hats , hoodies, variety of JD bottles of liquor.. loved the historical timeline for the story of JD .. would definitely go back when I have the chance

Very cool place to visit, especially after doing the Jack Daniels tour.
Small-scale Tennessee whiskey producer offering bottles for sale & tours of the distillery.
Fun tour and tasting. Worth a trip!
A few miles off I-24 between Nashville & Chattanooga near Tullhoma is Cascade Hollow Distilling. Staff was excellent- friendly, helpful, and engaging. Tour was informative. Whisky is remarkable and even better than I imagined.
Bourbon is wildly popular these days. Generally TN Whisky gets less attention- which is surprising to me. Cascade Hollow Distilling is making fine (award-winning) whisky, most of it is bourbon. Standard tasting includes 4-whiskies, but I paid to upgrade to get the two extra tastes. Happy I did so!
The 12-year old single barrel was simply sublime and worth every penny. Dickel No. 12 was my 2nd favorite- great sipping whisky. I enjoyed all the whiskies I tasted.
I didn’t know much about Cascade Hollow or Dickel whisky before I visited; now I’m a fan.
All in all a great visit!

Tour was very cool. Nothing was in production but still really fun to see. Interesting to see how each distillery does it slightly different. Highly recommend stopping in

Tour guide was awesome. However opted for the more expensive tasting ($40) of 6 and found that our glasses were not as full as the others doing only the 4 tastings ($15). This made me annoyed and truly brought the experience down for me. I would highly recommend NOT doing the more expensive tasting. Absolutely not worth the drop you get.

My wife and I had an amazing experience here in January! The walking tour is very much worth the price as you can get 4 tastings or up to 6. The staff are very informative and super helpful. The site was also very interesting to learn about as it was a fully operational facility but still made it so people could see where and how their favorite whisky is made.
This wasn't our first option at all but since the "place down the road" was closed we decided to make a stop and I can say with confidence that we're glad we did. We will be back and I'd recommend this to any whiskey/whisky enthusiasts or anyone wanting to learn a little bit about Tennessee history!

What a great spot! We took our flights outside and enjoyed the company and beautiful day while taste testing. We didn't want the day to end so we bought a bottle.
Much less crowded than the spot in Lynchburg, great setting and excellent way to spend the afternoon

Great experience its worth your time to sign up for a tasting and hear the story and history of the distillary. Good wiskey too 🥃

Tour guide Jacqueline is very knowledgeable about the history and has a great sense of humor. Our group of 14 saw the workings of this distillery up close. Great, quaint place with excellent whisky & bourbon. Beautifully maintained grounds.

Fantastic tasting and tour. The tour guide we had was fantastic, really detailed history of George dickell and the distilling process. Got to walk through the fermenters and stills. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with the creek going through the property. The tasting room and post office are super cute. The whiskey is pretty good but overall lower proof.

Visited while the distillery was doing maintenance (so unfortunately couldn't see it "in action"), but they sent me an email weeks earlier (as I had booked in advance) to let me know which was thoughtful. Tour guide was very knowledgeable - I was actually the entirety of the tour group! Smaller the the larger distilleries in Kentucky, but a nice tour if you're in the area - and a nice gift shop with some exclusive bottles (which you can purchase a sample of at their bar!)
Gary Turner — Google review
Great tour and history. I was a bit disappointed to see the price gouging in the bottle shop. I was able to purchase the exact same bottle for $20 cheaper. If you want to encourage your customers to promote your product, at least sell it at your suggested retail price.

We enjoy visiting distilleries with friends and plan a five day trip each year. This year we had Dickel and Jack on the itinerary in Tennessee following a number in Kentucky. Cascade Hollow is among my favorites. The distillery is nestled in a beautiful setting, with a comfortable boutique feel.
I was not very familiar with their spirits before visiting and I was blown away by their current offerings. My favorites were the Bottled in Bond #3 and the Single Barrel 9 year.
Spaceman was an outstanding guide and story teller, including decades of personal history. What fun! I won’t relate any so as not to spoil the impact. All my favorite tours have been guided by those with a long personal history connected with the area and distillery.
Go! Go! Go!

Nestled away on 600 acres of beautiful wooded land is the Distillery and visitors center. A natural limestone stream cuts through the property filled with tiny silver fish. The distillery uses this cool, clean spring water for the cold distilling of their first class whisky (without the "e", as George Dickel insisted). The tour of the distillery was not rushed, very informative, with plenty of time given for photographs. The process was explained well while touring through the different stages of distilling. The tour takes about an hour and can get very hot but the property has plenty of shade where points of interest are discussed. We've visited 4 distilleries, from very large flagships to tiny boutiques, we found this tour one of the very best. We enjoyed the tastings of their fine whisky, sampling the higher end of the price range, a 6 flight tasting. The whisky ranges from almost pure distilled corn whisky to the more complex blends that culminate into a smooth and silky taste. It's worth paying a little more for extra flights. There is a large gift store on the premises that stocks the medium to high valued bottles, along with caps, polo shirts and many other branded items. We would highly recommend a visit to Cascade Hollow Distillery if you are a whisky/bourbon drinker and interested in the distilling process.

Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park offers a peaceful and stunning outdoor experience, complete with hiking trails, waterfalls, and an abundance of exhibits showcasing both archaeological and Native American history. The waterfall is particularly breathtaking and provides a serene atmosphere for visitors to enjoy. Hikers can explore the amazing trails, which offer opportunities for experienced hikers to create their own paths. Information boards and stone remnants from the fort provide educational insights into past cultures.
We love this beautiful park. My daughter took her senior pictures there and they turned out so beautifully. It is a beautiful place to go on a hike. You can also check out the museum they have there. Or if you are brave enough, you can swim I'm the cold water. It's a beautiful place to spend the day with the family. Highly recommend!!

This is one of the best places in middle Tennessee to go hiking. It is a hidden gem that everyone should visit. I loved every part of this park. It is easy walking for some, but it can be as difficult as you want to make it for those who want a challenge. There’s a lot of water and a lot of waterfalls to see, and it is some of the most parts of Tennessee rivers that I’ve ever been around.

This place is so peaceful and beautiful. If you love nature and hiking, you'll absolutely love this Park. The waterfall is remarkably gorgeous and was very Zen like to me. The hiking trails are amazing and there room to create your own path if you're an experienced hiker. There are information boards and stone remnants from the Fort. There's a gift shop and camping sites/spots. Just a really cool and wonderful place for any nature lover. I highly recommend this Park!

A gorgeous gem of a park. Tons to explore, the river is shallow enough for small kids in many places. It was perfect to wade, swim, and paddle in. Super clean campsite with brand new showers.
This place was amazing. I can’t wait to go back.

Quite possibly one of my most favorite places to visit now. This beautiful state park in Tennessee is free, has unbelievable sights, and experiences. Waterfalls are easy to get to and play on. The lady in the museum was very kind and told us everything we needed to know. The museum is very cool as well. Bathrooms were clean. We liked it here so much we drove an hour on 2 separate occasions just to spend an extra day here. It was magical!

My husband and I found this lovely recreation area and museum while on vacation in the area. It’s totally free and the little museum has some interesting artifacts on display as well as a great explanation of what these sacred grounds were used for by native Americans and then later as a gun powder mill powered by the river. Beautiful little walk around the grounds, you can see the foundation of the old mill and go through the museum or take a walk on several paths. Easy parking and great views of the river and rapids and small falls.

I enjoy doing trail 👣 walks 🚶♂️ and seeing what nature has to offer.
There is enough parking spots during Spring. Not sure during Summer since it might get packed for the waterfall view.
There is a nice little museum, where you can learn more of the Old Stone Fort. Gift shop provides some crafts and souvenirs to take home from.
What is unique and sets this apart from other trails, is that there is an mobile 📱 application you can download to discover other trails, research and find how to navigate through the trails 👣 😀 which is pretty cool.
There is restrooms 🚻 prior to entering the trail. Nice views. The weather during our visit, did not help. But, we still enjoyed the best out of the trail.
The only subjects I did not like is that when it comes to safety getting a closer view towards the waterfall is very concerning for the little children or pets. Maybe even adults if you do not take precaution of your steps.
Another thing is there are other waterfalls after the main one but after going down more the trails. It is nothing but just forest like locations.
Finally, watch where you step down the trail. If you do not have proper shoes then you would get some of the fuzzy galls stuck to your shoes.
I did not get a chance to go do other trails just this main one they have here. I do not know how camping here is but I saw camper RV's around.
Enjoy the time here and take lots of pictures 📸 and videos 📹!

This park is honestly spectacular. 10/10 is a MUST SEE. Absolutely gorgeous spot. Very beautiful. Pictures do not do justice for how cool this park is. Words honestly can’t explain how breathtaking this location is. There’s a cool little trail that goes down hill but it’s definitely slippery in the snow and rain so be careful.

Beautiful state park, a quick jaunt off of the highway. We stopped for a little walk to stretch our legs and decompress, on the second day of a three day road trip. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the museum and all of the hiking trails. Next time we are in the area we will return.

Absolutely gorgeous and easy hike. Did this as a group family hike with 8 kids and 6 adults. Can see the falls from a wheelchair accessible spot near parking lot. Short walk to see multiple falls along a loop, not busy at all. Would love to go back and explore more next time in TN! ❤️

What a lovely little gem! We stopped briefly in Manchester TN and spent an afternoon wandering around town… this park had a beautiful trail overlooking waterfalls and nestled under some beautiful trees. Take the time to take the walk! It was not hard at all and the reward was all the gorgeous scenery!

This is a very nice place with wonderful scenery and history. It's a pretty easy hike if you're staying on the trail. There are many waterfalls where you can walk to and the water is shallow enough to go walk around and explore the different creek areas. I especially enjoyed that there were water plants. It makes the scenery very unique and makes the water nice and shiny. I would recommend this to any one loves to go on hikes and explore waterfalls. There are also ample amount of parking spaces and a great picnic area too.

Beautiful water falls all on a 1.5 mile trail! The trail has quite a few roots and rocks, but it was not too difficult. The park staff members we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. There is a little museum that shares about the history of the indigenous groups that lived in the area.

A beautiful hike in an area with a lot of history. There are natural trails and desire paths leading to everything one could possibly want to see. If you're new to hiking, beware websites and apps claiming this is a beginner trail.
While it's not dangerous or difficult, this is not a flat walk through the forest - you'll find yourself doing a bit of climbing if you deviate from the main path, and even if you follow it the area is very rocky and full of old root growth. At least bring shoes you can keep your balance in, so you don't take a tumble when going down to the river!
Retreat offering an inn, cabins, campsites, a golf course & a restaurant serving Southern fare.
What a cute state park and its so close to home too!
It has primitive camping, campings, motel style lodging, a restaurant, a store, several playgrounds, a walking trail and its located on the Duck River. What a great local get away to nature.

I came here to experience the Backcountry sites as I don't enjoy listening to an RV motor while I'm camping in a tent. First the good: beautiful trails, well maintained and marked. Different trails for different hiking levels and lengths. Both sites are great, site 2 you will see a bit more foot traffic than site 1, but site 1 currently has an outhouse smooshed by a tree (didn't bother me, I have a shovel. 🤷🏻♀️)
Slightly bad feedback: obviously of no fault to the park, but hearing a train in the back county takes away from the experience a bit. It's not super frequent, but definitely noticeable. Other small note is the trail is VERY VERY slick after a rain. Like very muddy, very slippery. 'slickernsnot' like my mom used to say 🤣
Otherwise, a beautiful location with cabins, a restaurant, all sorts of wetland exploration things. I'll be back.

Ok starting with check in and staff ,quick and very helpful / friendly with a small store that has most last minute stuff, the camp road and sites are all smooth blacktop with easy to read site numbers, the bathroom and shower houses ( there are two ) were very clean, and the best for last, most sites are level and large with a thick line of tree's separating the neighbors, the whole campground is covered with tall trees also they have a few nice hiking trail trails in the park.
I'm sure I left a lot out but I hope this is helpful.

Wow, customer service was top notch! Park was beautiful!
Shout out to Hannah Wallace! What a friendly young lady! I bought a bunch of water etc and was going to come back to pick it up as I was walking! She made arrangements with Ben Stanley who was kind enough to deliver it to my campsite!
Then, Bobbie Mitchell helped me with my motorcycle! Yeah, she is the bomb! I was looking for a guy to help me and her question was… could a woman manage it! Of course…we had no problem doing it together!
Biggest surprise…ride my bike out of the park 3.4 miles and broke down! Left it at a gas station… walked a bit and an suv from the park stopped and asked if I was okay! I mentioned I was walking back to the park as my bike broke down. Not only did Shaun Rainon take me back to the park, he dropped me off right at my site. I will definitely make a point of going back to this park! The trails were awesome, I don’t think there is a bad site in the park! Every employee I mentioned went over and above with a smile and a great attitude! So happy I spent a couple of days here! From Ontario, Canada!
Thank you!!

Beautiful state park, a little bit of something for everyone. A little bit away from the city of course, but worth the drive if you're looking to get into a more rural area. There is canoeing the duck River nearby and they do have a golf course on site in the park. I do recommend!

My husband and I embarked on another adventure, this time to Henry Horton State Park, specifically site 38. We eagerly arrived, but unfortunately, check-in wasn't until 12 PM. However, we made a quick stop at the General Store to complete the check-in process. The attendant there was incredibly friendly and provided us with valuable information about the park.
Upon entering the park, we were greeted by the breathtaking sight of leaves changing colors for the fall season. It truly was a picturesque landscape. The site we stayed at was particularly impressive, boasting an extra-wide space that was mostly level. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and we were pleased to find that water and electricity were readily available at our site.

If you’re looking for a place to get away from other hikers and enjoy your time in nature this is a much better option than say Fall Creek Falls and just as beautiful.
If you’re looking for “safety in numbers” hike one of the more popular destinations.
In a 3-4 mile hike I only came across 4/5 other small groups of 2.
It’s beautiful and well marked.
I parked at the camp ground store and hiked the river trail to the wetland loop, and back around again to the river trail back to the parking lot.
Trails are CLEARLY marked with color symbols attached that the trees.
The only mistake I made was leaving the observation tower I came off the stairs and continued walking on the trail in front of me. It led me to the backcountry trail but it was clear within a few minutes and I could look down at the river and see the correct trail. Just a careless mistake, but again the trail was marked with sign posts at important intersections.
It was a pretty flat and easy enough hike that would be easy enough for school age children (and it’s easy to shorten or park in a different lot on a different day or after lunch)
I’m not in great shape and considered it a decent workout. Didn’t have to really stop and catch my breath or pause. No big uphill climbs.
I really enjoyed seeing the wetlands from both sides and climbing the observation deck. Just watching the small birds work their way through the marsh grass was pretty neat.
Trails are VERY well defined. You aren’t going to wonder if it’s a park trail or a deer trail that leads into a swamp.
Great looking spot to camp. There are lots of amenities in the park itself from a restaurant, store and even a hotel and cabins.
Also offers golf course and a skeet range.
The bathroom even has free showers if you wanted to bring a kit to freshen up after a long hike.
Make sure to stop by and see Cotton the owl and (I think) Buddy the Red tail hawk next to the store in the campground.

This park has it all! Fishing, shooting range, golf, Frisbee golf, playgrounds, a pool, bird watching areas, a lodge, camping ( rv, and primitive/ tent camping) they even have hammock camping. They have a nice new restaurant, beautiful hiking trails, and more. Everything is fairly priced for what it is. I took my family here for the weekend and had a blast. We hiked on some very scenic trails, used the pool all day, and stayed in the lodge. The state staff is accommodating and friendly, professional, and speak well on the area. This is a wonderful park to camp in! The tall trees provide lots of shade and keep the area cool. It does make it hard to get good Starlink connection, and cell coverage is restricted, but the park does try to provide Internet access through their own wifi network. The trails are well maintained and beautiful. Lots of wildlife activity like squirrels and red Robbins. Utilities are well regulated and easy to access. roads were easily traveled, with no problems getting a large vehicle through. Our vehicle is 40 ft long and 12.5 feet in height for a comparison. good luck with your camping experience here!

We just had our wedding at Oakland's mansion and it was amazing! Definitely recommend getting married here if you appreciate simple elegance and a historical venue. We fell in love with the beauty of the venue when we first toured it and the reception hall was a perfect size for our smaller guest count. Our wedding was outside on the grounds with the mansion as the backdrop and happy hour was behind the mansion with pretty hanging lights. We received so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was. Connor was wonderful to work with, he helped me through the whole process of having our wedding at Oaklands and he answered all my emails so quickly. He also met with me multiple times in person to go over specific wedding details. He has a very calming presence that is much appreciated when you are stressed planning a wedding! Stones River National Battlefield is a 570-acre park and cemetery that features well-marked trails and a visitor center, which provides information about the Civil War battlefield. The visitor center was designed to teach visitors about the site's history while remaining respectful towards fallen soldiers and apolitical. The National Park Service did an excellent job of presenting the information without bias towards any side of the battle - there was no mention of which party emerged victorious.
A very nice day for a visit. The driving tour is great, but it is walkable and great for bicycles. Something for everyone of all ages. Sites are well marked and easy to find. There is a self guided audio tour which is very helpful. Also very sobering to think of the number of casualties. You can spend as little or as long as you like exploring the park. Download the National Park Service app before you go.

Really great national historic site with a lot of intentionality put into capturing the history and events that took place. A few monuments that you were able to go see (accessible by walking) definitely add to the experience. This is a park that enables you to stop by on a day trip to Murfreesboro and is generally accessible by car. There’s pretty great biking infrastructure, and a visitor center that allows visitors to walk through a chronological record of “Hell’s Half Acre”

Well designed visitor center that allows you to learn about the site and battle while also remaining respectful to the fallen soldiers and remaining apolitical. The NPS did a nice job of presenting this without a prejudice for one side being better or worse--specifically I didn't recall seeing any information on which side won the battle.
It's about 8 minutes from the interstate and you can enjoy the full visitor center experience in as little as 30 minutes.

If you are looking for a outing with the family or just want to get out and learn about the civil war and the struggles these men went through. This place is one of the largest battles and most causalities occurred in a short three day period. It’s humbling to walk amongst the soldiers graves and see the many that gave their lives during the battle.
They have a guided tour you can take or you can go in your vehicle and drive among the trail to the actual battlefield places.Such a great trip for learning and seeing what they went through.

We are always pursuing more passport stamps! My kids enjoyed the Visitor Center and the drive through the battleground and past the Stone River National Cemetery. We saw 4 wild turkeys as we drove in and they "talked back" when my girls called to them "Gobble, gobble, gobble!" Junior Ranger activity books are free for kids, and completing one will earn them a badge. We spent some time (and money) in the gift shop... a bird guide, a couple children's books, Christmas ornament, and more stickers to stamp for our forgotten at home passport! Also there was a book for Family Activities. I do recommend as a great place to visit and learn some history and about local wildlife. There is a short educational film that shows reenactments (including head wounds and dead bodies) my girls found this a bit upsetting and said, "I hate wars, they make people die!" In my opinion, that's an excellent take away! I enjoyed the quotes from Ed Abbott.

Just stumbled onto this on our trip as we were making a stop in Murfeesboro and had some downtime to be able to visit this battlefield. Neat little battlefield that is very accessible to walk around, drive to and spend an easy 1-2 hours here tops.
You will not be spending hours and hours here to see everything but for a a battlefield I didn't know exist before visiting, it was worth a little detour to get out and stretch our legs.

This park is awesome. Unfortunately, the history behind it is not, but the presentation of the history and historical facts at the time is just great. It is also horrifying at times to realize what those soldiers went through.
I highly recommend taking in the whole park. It is truly an experience. The slaughter pen is unbelievable, especially when you realize the horrifying battle that occurred there.
The folks at the visitor center were extremely helpful and friendly.
Do not miss out on this park for sure if you are in the area.

This is a battle field during the Civil War. This park you can drive to locations within the park to see certain important locations. You have an option to hear free audio (off your phone from a number you call) of the area you are in. If you enjoy history this can be a nice place to visit.

I appreciated that it was possible to visit this despite not having a lot of time. I was able to complete the visitor center and 5 of the outdoor sites in about 1.5 hours.
The rock formations in the Slaughter Pen were interesting.

Tucked into a city, this is a great place to see nature. I was surrounded by deer the morning I was there. As far as following the battle, it's not the easiest place to do so. If you have knowledge of the battle then what you see and walk/drive to would make some sense. There are very few plaques and almost no monuments. The visitor center is nice and the rangers there are very knowledgeable. Having the natl. Park app helps to follow along some of the high points that are preserved within the park.

We did the booklets for junior rangers- ages 13-6 and it was fun. The books will be updated to the park for better outlining they stated, as it was a bit all over the place where to find the clues. The staff were super friendly & engaging. We absorbed history & discussed many aspects of war and the struggles as well as that each longed for home. They had audio to listen to writings. The only downfall we had was the field being sprayed where the tombstones were and figuring how to maneuver out without inhaling or getting on shoes. Cross walks have buttons you press to alert passing street to different portions to the park. Very clean bathrooms and great gift shop. Highly recommend the park.

We will have to come back on a warmer day to walk the trails, but the driving tour was fun and perfectly fit the hour of free time we had while in the area. The visitors center was informative and rangers were friendly and helpful.

The visitors center was great! We were greeted with a smile and given a map. We toured the small museum which was very informative and nicely laid out. The outdoor area had a a few monuments and fields but left a lot to be desired. I definitely recommend if you enjoy taking a walk and learning about history.

Sprawling, tranquil fields with hillside picnicking, wine by the bottle or flight, frosé & snacks.
Awesome place to drink wine, listen to music and picnic. You can bring your own food and they have food to purchase. Love the wines! Now a member!

My friends and family and I always love visiting Arrington Vineyards! On this occasion, my friend and I were celebrating her birthday. The grass time bluegrass band was there and they were amazing as usual. The weather was perfect! We brought our own picnic and a blanket and we had a wonderful time. I was able to get a ride from a nice lady who was operating an ATV transporting people back-and-forth from the parking lot to the barn. Wonderful place!

This place is a must do! It's a bit of a drive so plan accordingly with a DD or a scheduled ride share. The guided wine tasting should be reserved in advance. You can do the pour and go one but it's not as wonderful. Our server Jackson was knowledgeable and gave us lots of details about the wines. The food truck and dessert truck had yummies or you could bring your own. Definitely visit on a sunny weekend!

A great way to spend a fall day! We enjoyed wine tasting and sitting out on the lawn. The staff was friendly and welcoming, they took time explaining the process of ordering your wine tasting flight, along with bottles of wine. A short drive from Nashville and definitely worth it.

Upon arrival, we were offered a cart ride from the parking area to the tasting room. The driver proceeded to give us a quick tour around the grounds, which was a nice surprise. The grounds are beautiful, with two separate tasting areas with music. Today was jazz and bluegrass. The wine flights offered four 2 ounce pours. The wines were quite good. The food on-site was very good.

The place is so relaxing and beautiful with awesome landscapes and views. Although there is a negative behavior at the checkout “counter.” They took away from us part of our belongings and then did not return them or took any responsibility, they just trashed them away. When exiting, nobody took any responsibility for my belongings.

Came here as part of a bachelorette group. I’m not a huge drinker but I enjoy wine occasionally. I really enjoyed how open and beautiful the setting was. It was very walkable in heeled boots and they had nice tables set up for groups to chill at and drink wine. A lot of great photo ops as well.

The best winery in Tennessee! The wine, views and all around experience is incredible. I’ve visited here for birthday parties, girls weekends, family trips, etc and have never had a bad experience. I love getting the red wine flight and a bottle of the blueberry! The skinny wine bottle is so unique!

We scheduled a bar tasting for two and had such a wonderful experience! The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the product. The grilled peach flatbread we tried from their food truck while waiting was really good. Highly recommend the red Scarlett wine if you enjoy sweeter wine. We ended up buying three bottles of it and plan to come back for more!

I didn't get pictures of the main area but I did of the barn. The grounds are beautiful, the red wines are delicious, the family styled areas are great if you bring the kids. I do wish there were a few more shaded areas just because of how hot it was but I understand not wanting to take away from the area. If you do wish to do a tasting book early as it does sell out but it's definitely worth it.

Wonderful local venue just outside of Franklin. Jazz and bluegrass music usually played on the weekends throughout the summer. You can buy wine on site and sit, listen and enjoy. Highly recommend that you bring your own food, and simply buy the wine when you get there. Several picnic tables are available, but you may want to bring your lawn chairs as a backup.

Perfect spot to spend a nice evening outside or day visit. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the city and you feel like you are out in the country. Very serene and relaxing spot. Excellent wine- the Red Fox Red is outstanding. Lots of seating options inside and out as well as on the grass. Beautiful grounds- check the list they have events as well. We went on a week night and had a wonderful time sitting out with an incredible view tasting wine and visiting. Highly recommend.

Interesting set up. While it would be awesome on a warm day to bring your own snacks and snag a bottle if it’s chillier and your only in for a flight of wine it’s a different experience than a traditional winery. You are only allowed one flight of wine and kinda just shoveled through to purchase it and find a seat. I believe you can reserve a more private tasting if you are wanting more education. Overall wine was tasty.

This is such a beautiful site. We stopped by an Amish place on the way and picked up good eats to make a picnic at the winery. The winery staff are quite pleasant and offer good information on choosing a wine for the afternoon. The rolling hills and vast numbers of picnic tables offer plenty of space for scenery gazing while enjoying wine and food. The winery has very good wines and we selected a bottle of red for our picnic. Perfect. Strong recommendation to visit this place - but plan for the time to enjoy a bottle and see the country hills view.

ABOUT PLACE:
We went on Sunday , there was a Jazz Band event, so, regarding to that activity the place was full...which was understandable, also, there were a lot of patrols bc the crowded situation which made us feel comfortable with mu husband.
ABOUT FOOD:
Prices are so high and doesn't worth what you pay.
why? We found a hair in our food which was disgusting, so, if you consider to eat in that place , I would suggest you to bring your food well prepared from home.
WINE:
variation of wines offered, dry, sweet, etc.... prices are acceptable because wine flavors are enjoyable and not bad quality, so , well recommended the purchase.
PARKING:
many People checking on the cars, so, feel free to leave them there , because are in a good place.

I have nothing but kind things to say about this place. From the moment we parked our truck there was a gentleman on a golf cart ready to drive us up the hill. When getting our wine flights, they were super helpful on making sure we received the wine flight that best suited our taste. It was a perfect daytime stop for my Bachelorette Party. I would love to bring my fiancé in the future because he loves wine just as much as me. (:
Located in Franklin, Tennessee, Carnton is home to the McGavock Confederate Cemetery and a historical place museum with tours of the house and grounds. The porch at Carnton is where visitors can learn about the area's Civil War history through tours with production and design manager Brad Kinnison.
Carnton Plantation is an exceptionally storied home rich in Civil War history and well restored with original furnishing of the owners and period correct pieces. The guided tour is really exciting and in such detail to make you feel you were present at battle of Franklin. Leah, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the Plantation's family and their history. If you enjoy Civil War history or simply want to tour an old, well maintained and furnish 1830's-1860's mansion, you don't want to miss this place. Due to all the fragile antiques and nature of the tour, this not the best activity for young children. There is ample parking, a large vistors center and gift shop.

Very cool historical site. My parents and I went with my 11 month old twins for the basic tour. It was $18 a person. There were several other people there and I had to carry the babies because no strollers or anything are allowed in the house due to all the antique furniture and stuff in there. I only got to see two rooms before I had to leave and give the babies a snack. The rooms were beautiful and all period correct with actual belongings from the house loaned by family members. The tour guide was very informative, my parents said upstairs and downstairs was really neat. I missed most of the tour but one of the employees was really sweet and gave me a little booklet thing so I could read and look at pictures of what I missed. If you pay for the basic tour you can still walk the grounds to see the garden, slave house, smoke house, spring house etc by yourself. The ground was hilly and bumpy so I wouldn't recommend pushing a stroller on it. Everything is maintained well and there are several signs explaining what things are. Right next door is the Confederate and McGavock family cemetery (including some of the slaves). The cemetery has several signs with information about it. Pretty sad past but very interesting. There's also a gift shop there where you buy your tour ticket. I wouldn't suggest bringing any small children here because they will be bored and it will be a struggle keeping them from touching things. Anyone handicapped would have a hard time you with all the standing and steep stairs to go upstairs plus all the walking outside. They have bathrooms right by the gift shop that were mostly clean.

Amazing historic house tied to the Battle of Franklin. Emily, our guide, was incredible, sharing stories. This house served as a hospital during the battle; you can still spot some of the scars! Be sure to explore the grounds, read the markers—such a captivating tale! Imagine, 40,000 soldiers surrounded this family home during the battle. In just five hours, 9,500 soldiers on both sides were affected—mind-blowing stats! Don't miss learning about the cemetery's history.
Very clean bathrooms. Bet the gardens look amazing in the spring/summer!

We walked the grounds and read the markers. Such a fascinating story. This family home was surrounded by 40,000 soldiers during the Battle of Franklin. After just five hours 9,500 American soldiers on both sides had either been killed, were wounded or were missing. The numbers are staggering. Be sure to read about the women of the area, including Sarah Gaunt and learn about the history of the cemetery. Clean bathrooms. The grounds were stroller and walker friendly. Gardens must be beautiful in the spring/summer.

We did the plantation and battlefield tour and it was very interesting and informative. Our tour guide was Joseph and he did a fabulous job on taking a trip back in time and our group wasn’t very big but we marched a very short distance in linear formation across a small area of the battlefield and he was describing the tense moments being under a artillery barrage and me and my fiancée loved it. We will return again, great experience very polite staff in the gift shop and Joseph rocked!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Hannah Jacobs and the girls at Carnton weddings and events. Phenomenal staff and planner. Hannah is accommodating, kind, gets the job done without asking anything (she just takes action and handles all situations and problems effortlessly taking stress off couples getting married.) One of the best experiences I have had at a venue while being the wedding photographer. I absolutely loved getting to photograph and be apart of the vendor team of Carnton for our couple's day. WONDERFUL! Our guide, Sheila, not only knew lots of facts and history, but she weaved in the personal stories, too. She really helped me understand the battle here and the family’s role. The home has been restored in a beautiful manner. Wide open grounds to explore with markers around. Be sure to check out the cemetery and walk through the garden.
It saves a few dollars to buy the combination ticket for here and Carter House nearby. Both worth a visit.

Excellent experience. Great tour. Interesting and informative. I learned some things. I won’t share all and I’ll let you experience this new knowledge yourself but do you know that Canton Plantation isn’t really a plantation, it’s a {blank}. What makes it {blank} is that instead of one cash crop it had more than one. Which ones? Well you better go find out.

Beautiful place, just don't ask the tour guide any questions. It's basically a quiet, guided tour where you listen. No interaction. The historical tour was rushed. I think if you pay this much money to go on a guided tour, your tour guide should know or be willing to answer questions at the end of her rehearsed script that they are reciting as we enter in each room. There should be a little bit of time for discussion or questions instead of feeling rushed from room to room. There are so many artifacts in every room that there's no time to actually look at them all because they only point out a certain few, and you're moving along. There wasn't a bunch of people waiting in line for a tour so we didn't need to rush. We bought the ticket package so hopefully the Carter house will be better.

We had a wonderful tour today of the house and grounds. Our tour guide was excellent. He was so informed and engaging. The group on our tour asked many questions from quizzical children to inspiring adults. We also enjoyed the book store. It provided a balanced approach in its offerings and quality. Thank you so much. Fascinating! If there was anything that I would add would be to give slaves their due by mentioning the quality of workmanship when building the house.

The McGavock Confederate Cemetery in Franklin, Tennessee sits beside Carnton House and is the resting place for around 1,500 soldiers who died during the Battle of Franklin. Cedars of Lebanon State Park
State park
Nature & Parks
900-acre park featuring rock gardens & rare plants, plus 8 miles of trails for hiking & riding.
Cedars' of Lebanon is a really nice state part. We stayed 3 nights in our Travel Trailer. The campground host was very friendly and helpful. The campsite we were at was a bit small and close to the next camper, but there were many others to choose from that were more spacious and shaded. There is plenty of hiking in and around the park. I really enjoyed the boulder beds on the Cedar Forest Trail, but the special habitat of this region is the limestone glades. Glades range from bare rock to a thin substrate of soil with desert-like vegetation to shallow soil grasslands. The glades may be small or large open areas surrounded by cedar trees. When we were there in late winter there was not much to be seen in the way of wildflowers, but the trails were very quiet and pleasant. Also, if you want to spend a day in the city, Nashville is less than 45 minutes away.

We stayed here in early October with family and friends and it was a perfect long weekend. We stayed in a camper in campsite 3 on one of the more private lots. It was the first weekend that the weather started getting really cool at night so we really enjoyed the campfire. The amenities are great at this park. Firewood is easily accessible at the store and very affordable. There are several parks with swings, slides, and jungle gyms which was a big deal for my 4 year old. For any grocery needs there is a very well stocked dollar general less than a mile up the road, and an Aldis not far away. There are showers on site and while they aren't perfect, the water gets nice and hot and they are spacious. The only issue is there is no curtain or partition to keep your clothes and toiletries bag from getting wet. Best advice- put it in the farthest corner near the door and if you have a trash bag put it over your stuff. The park itself is beautiful. There are deer everywhere and all kinds of other wildlife. The hiking trails are great as well. Overall we really enjoyed Cedars of Lebanon and we will definitely be back in the near future.

Wonderful park with friendly staff. Lots of great hiking trails. The visitor center is small but well kept and easily accessible.
There are clean restrooms inside the visitor center and a half mile loop hiking trial.
There are shelters, picnic tables, kids play area, tennis court, beautiful butterfly garden and information center.
There is also Jackson cave which requires permit to enter of course.
Campgrounds and Cabin are available which can be reserved online or at the check-in station.
Beautiful place to be irrespective of the time of the year!

First time camping here. We had a great experience!
Online reservations for booking a campsite was easy. Price was great and you had an option to round up your cost to donate to the park. **PET FRIENDLY**
Campground 1 sites are closer together than campground 2 & 3’s. But great atmosphere either way. Cabins are offered here too.
Bathrooms were clean. The showers (at least in the ladies restroom at campground 1) did not have a shower curtain; but if you hang your stuff on the hooks your things should stay dry.
There is a spot to do laundry here if you’re a camper. We did not use this amenity, but it’s great to know for future!
A few playgrounds, a few trails, lots of nature!
Heavy ranger presence at the parks, which I was surprised by- but thankful for.
Staff was super friendly at check in and purchasing firewood at the gift shop/check in office. A gas station for basics is right outside the park, and there is a Dollar general down the road and further down the road is a Walmart
We will definitely be back!

We booked an RV spot for overnight camping and we enjoyed the peace, quiet and secure spot. The shower and restroom was right opposite to area 3 with heaters and hot water which was such a plus on a cold morning. The park was almost full in December which definitely gave us the impression that Cedar park is very popular. All the amenities were as expected.
We ended up hiking a 2 mile trail and we saw many deers and squirrels which was pretty exciting for my dogs!
There wasn’t any check in process which helped us coming in late at night and we ended up spending a rather slow morning before heading out.
The park is very well maintained with rangers around during the day.

We had camped here before and really liked the place. This time was different. Our site was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Had to clean beer cans and aluminum foil from the fire ring. Our grille had dozens of cigarette butts in it, so we used our own grill. A nearby site had a couple that played loud music and commercials that resounded throughout the campground. Not the park's fault, unless they allow it to continue, which they did. The same campers used the sink in the bathroom to wash their dishes (gross), and left trash on their site that was still there 2 days after they left. Exactly what are the camp hosts doing? Since there is not much to do in the area, without going to Nashville, I doubt we'll return.

This Park's Staff are truly pros! Our hiking club wanted to have a Christmas party in one of the shelters. That particular shelter was undergoing repairs on the fireplace. Having a shelter with a working fireplace was an essential part of our plan...and comfort. Prior to me reserving the shelter, Park staff member Teresa consulted with the Park manager and maintenance personnel to confirm the firm completion date of the repair. Not only was the fireplace completed in time for our party, Teresa communicated throughout the process to ease my peace of mind. I'll be honest, rarely have my experiences dealing with any aspect of the State of Tennessee been handled with efficiency and dispatch. This time however, it was. Very professional. The shelter was repaired, tidy and clean for our party. They even left the (super clean) bathrooms open this late in the year for us! Could not be happier. THANK YOU to all that helped with getting the shelter ready!!

Cedars of Lebanon State Park is a remarkable natural haven, nestled in the heart of Tennessee's Central Basin. This park is a testament to the beauty and diversity of the region's landscapes.
One of the standout features of this park is its captivating trails. These trails wind through a landscape that is both lovely and challenging, making them a treat for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure. The terrain, sprinkled with rocky grounds and small caves, adds an element of excitement to the hiking experience. Exploring these trails offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the rugged beauty of the area.
The park's rich natural history is equally fascinating. The presence of cedar glades, a natural rock garden ecosystem, is a true gem. The thin or absent soil, coupled with limestone rock close to the surface, creates a harsh yet distinctive habitat that hosts nineteen rare and endangered plant species found nowhere else in the world. This ecological diversity is a testament to the park's significance in preserving Tennessee's unique natural heritage.
Cedars of Lebanon State Park is a destination that not only offers a chance to connect with nature but also provides a glimpse into the area's historical roots.
For those seeking outdoor adventure, a deep dive into Tennessee's natural beauty, or simply a place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, Cedars of Lebanon State Park is a captivating destination. Whether you're an avid hiker, a nature enthusiast, or someone looking to explore the rich history of the region, this park has something special to offer. At night we had a roaring fire that also smelled like heaven. We left very early in the morning with regrets that we couldn’t stay longer. We will be back!!!

Haven't stayed there yet but seems like a really neat looking place. Campsites are way too expensive compared to other places you can camp in middle Tennessee. $40 a night for a campsite is reasonable but they quoted me $50 ish and that was before tax and fees . (Or that's the way I understood it. Cabins are also a bit high priced, even in the off season when nobodys renting them. When I went through there I only saw one cabin for rented and they were still charging $156 a night on the smallest one in the off season. It was cold out lol. Think they should be more reasonable with there prices, especially when they can't even rent them or potentially keep them rented for the price they charge (just my opinion, may not be the case. I only visited the park once . I drove around in there and looked at everything for a couple hours, stopped and asked questions at the front desk etc.

Great place for hiking whether you are looking for short, easy trails, moderate trails, or even multi-hour long hikes. Cedars is beautiful year round and the staff at the welcome center are incredibly helpful and kind!

This is definitely a place to visit. The park is beautiful. The visitor center is amazing. Katherine was such a pleasure to spend time with. We were able to make survival bracelets with her. She was very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area. We also got to watch the snakes feed. What a great place!
This is a great outlet! Easy access off of I-40. My family stops every time we are in the area. It’s not at full capacity but it is a great place to shop.

Sadly more than half of these stores are no more! It was about to rain and we were already there so we decided to check out what was there. We enjoyed the stores that were there and open, the staff through out was grateful we were there, also. We went in where the food court would be and the restrooms were still open. We made a silly video acting like it was an abandoned mall, stephie likes those kinda of places and videos.

It's nearly dead in 2021. Shoe outlets down to two, full price, church moved into the old Nike outlet, lots of empty stores. Needs to hustle and get some stores in. Sad that even Spirit Halloween isn't in there

Very few stores left in this outlet. I always stop at Bath and Body when near. It's a great store! Friendly service and great prices!
Cathy Collins — Google review
What stores they have left are fine - the Eddie Bauer, et. al - except for the toy store, which is selling dollar store fare. That said, the outlets are decidedly desolate. About half the storefronts are vacant, and two are taken by churches. Only one of the food court restaurants (out of about three) was open when I visited. Needs an infusion of new stores desperately.

Was really disappointed they are closing all the stores by then of the month March 2923. We went to bath and body works and the 2 employees in there were very helpful and very nice.

Nice little Outlet. Right off highway RT40.
Has one of the few Nike Factory Clearance Centers. This is also where the gas ($2.07) is cheapest in area.😁 This is a standard outdoor mall setting...a few store fronts closed...going the way of the dinosaurs. This still a worthwhile place to go shop in person....eight off expressway. Good Christmas deals going on right now throughout outlet area.
Belle Meade Plantation is a plantation house and estate dating back to the 1840s, designed in the Greek Revival architectural style. It encompasses a vast 5,400-acre property that includes a thoroughbred horse farm, an original homestead, and a deer park. The centerpiece of the estate is a well-preserved Greek Revival Mansion, which now operates as a museum dedicated to preserving Tennessee's rich Victorian architecture and history.
Do you like history, bourbon, and wine??? I highly recommend this if you’re in Nashville. We started with a private bourbon tasting. Laura was a great hostess and provided interesting information. She definitely has a bright future in the adult beverage industry! We concluded our time sit a tour of the mansion and a wine tasting. Anastasia was a great tour guide and well educated on interesting history. If you take a mansion tour, you get a free wine tasting as well. Their tasting room is cute with many great candy/wine options. If you want the full experience, I would plan 2-3 hours of your day. We didn’t get to do a food pairing or try their meats but I hope to on our next trip. Cheers!

We loved this attraction. We thought it was so informative. A lot of history and the mansion tour was good. Only thing I would say is they would need to have tours spaced out more. Because sometimes it was hard to hear the tour guide while other tour was upstairs which was little annoying and hard to hear. But overall we love this tour and experience. Definitely buy tickets in advance. Free wine tasting after tour which was cool

Beautiful mansion and grounds. The tour of the mansion was very informative and the guide was happy to answer questions. A lot of history was covered in a short amount of time. The staff seem truly interested in discovering more of the history as well. A wine tasting was included as part of the ticket. Ended up taking home the carriage house white.
A great place to relax among magnolia trees and take in the rich history.

We did the plantation and mansion tours today ($45 combo). If you only choose one, do the mansion tour because you cannot enter the mansion otherwise but you can see the plantation grounds on your own and read the plaques scattered about. Casey was our tour guide and he was great. We were there 2.5 hours and had plenty of time to see everything, including wine tasting.

Enjoyed our day touring the beautiful mansion and enjoying the grounds. Our tour guide, Diana, was knowledgeable and charming. I could listen to her tell the history of this lovely home all day! The tour ended with wine tasting and We purchased a bottle of the Blackberry wine. You can enjoy the wine anywhere on the property which was so relaxing.

Step back in time with knowledgeable guides who walk you through this beautiful mansion. Uncovering the story of the Harding family and all they went through to get this place up and running. Finding out about the horses who sired so many winners over the years through the bloodline of horses at Belle Meade. The grounds are gorgeous with much to see and learn. Went with family who were not to keen on going but all enjoyed it at end of the day.

This is a great place if you enjoy history and wine. The mansion is a great place to learn about the generations who lived there including the owners and the slaves. It is rich in history, and the wines are amazing! They also had live music when we were there. The Meat & Three restaurant has great food options. It is a cafeteria style dining. You pick the foods you want and seat yourself. Overall great place to spend some time.

We had a really good time on this property. Very interesting history, and the tour guide did a good job showing us the mansion. The included wine tasting was great as well. The blackberry wine is one of the best I've ever had. We enjoyed our few hours at Belle Meade. Thank you!

We enjoyed one of the family tours that Belle Meade offers - the tea time tour. As this was a new tour we were lucky enough to be the only ones on it! Kelsey was an awesome tour guide who took time to answer any questions we had. She has immense historical knowledge. After the tour we went to an upper floor balcony where a tea party was set up with cookies and different teas. Lemonade was also available. We were showed the 'proper' ways that tea was enjoyed back in the day and had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves while music played in the background. I would highly recommend this tour to all families!

Visited Belle Meade as a family with a small child. We enjoyed learning about the rich history of both the site and the state. It was wonderful to discover some kid-friendly activities, such as mini-golf and croquet, for when the history and walking got to be too much. All the food between the ice cream shop and the restaurant was delicious, but especially the ice cream and carrot cake. The only disappointment was discovering we paid a $25 premium to purchase a bottle of the Belle Meade Reserve Bourbon. After paying for admission, one would hope for a small discount, or at the very least, the same price as at the liquor store. My suggestion would be to skip buying it from here, and just get it when you get home.

Relaxing property! We did the wine and bourbon tasting and toured the grounds! Non-profit and proceeds from sales go directly to maintaining this amazing spot. A former stud ranch, you can explore the history as you walk the site. Say hi to the horses and walk the whole site. Lots of buildings and historical information abound!

My husband and I attended the bourbon tasting that they offer on the plantation and it was the highlight of our trip to Nashville! The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, you can feel the history that this place holds.
The tasting is held in the circular ice room and is about an hour long of tasty bourbon and a fun history lesson. They are very detailed and respectful to the history of the place. At the end we made the best old fashioned I have ever had. I liked that we were able to order items we had seen and tasted straight from the paper menu we were given and taking it to the winery to pick up.
We will definitely be back next time we visit Nashville.

This historic site is absolutely beautiful. It features a plantation home with rich history. There is also wine tasting with a friendly and energetic staff. We bellied up to the bar insidd the gift shop for our tasting, but i noticed that they had other wine tastings outdoors to help spread out the crowds. Theu have a wide variety of wines, we ended up purchasing two different types and also some delectable chocolates. It was very pleasant to walk around the grounds. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. We had a great time!

It was nice, but felt quite short and missing something... trying to figure out what it is...
Unfortunately, they don't allow to take pictures inside of the mansion. But it was very dark inside anyway and not that big.
Wine tasting and bourbon tasting are definitely big attractions for tourists, also they do weddings and have a couple of nice spaces for the ceremonies.
The history was quite interesting. The slavery part is very sad.
I am comparing with the plantation we visited in Charlston, SC and this one wasn't close to it...
However, it is definitely worth a visit.

We did the Grounds Only Admission and enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting. We got a glass of wine to go and walked around the property. The property was beautiful, with so much to see and explore. There was even a little game area outside with cornhole. We grabbed a bite to eat at The Belle Meade Meat & Three. All employees on the property were super nice and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon here!

We enjoyed touring the Belle Meade mansion and grounds. The tour of the mansion was very informative, and our tour guide seemed very knowledgeable of the property. We learned a lot about the history of the property and grounds. The included wine tasting was a bonus and was a great way to end the tour.
We were able to roam around the grounds and see the stables, winery, cabins, and other parts of the historic site. If you are in the area, I strongly encourage you to make a reservation and visit. They have free on-site parking which is a plus.

I surprised my wife with a tour at Belle Meade. She absolutely loved it and was overwhelmed with the tour. We were able to take our time and walk the property. There were many opportunities for pictures. Our tour guide for the mansion was informative and at times very funny (which we loved). The property is also a winery so there was an opportunity to experience wine tasting. We purchased some chocolates and sat outside relaxing. We regret we didn't get to eat at the meat and three. Really great experience. Went with my love. and enjoyed the guided tour of the mansion, which was very informative and pretty interesting. The guide was friendly and funny which was a plus. The mansion is gorgeous! Truly loved the wine tasting and we bought 2 bottles! The grounds are just lovely and we enjoyed roaming and learning even more. Highly recommended...maybe not so much for little kids, as the tour is 45 minutes long and kind of restrictive for little ones.

We really enjoy seeing different historical sights. Wife picked this one out and I had no idea what to expect. Turns out this was an interesting tour, an opportunity to learn, a time to reflect with meaningful conversations during the tours. Do yourself a favor, do more than the basic tour and wine tasting. Definitely do those (awesome) but try another option too. Might be worth your time. We met very nice people working here and enjoyed talking with others on the tour. Very cool and interesting time. Beautiful grounds to wander around also.

I love history and the storytelling during the tour was superb. The artifacts in the mansion were very well kept and I recommend a visit to the winery.
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum showcases the rich history of American music through its collection of artifacts and interactive displays. Situated in downtown Nashville's vibrant District, this attraction brings the city to life, especially at night. Alongside the famous honky tonk bars, visitors can explore shops, restaurants, and historic music landmarks. Just a short distance away is Centennial Park, which offers unique features such as a full-scale replica of the Greek Parthenon.
This place was so cool!!! We budgeted one & a half hours based on the recommended time. I wish we would have planned on a little bit more time. It was so interesting seeing costumes & outfits country stars have worn over the past several years. Loved seeing how fashion has changed & the details in the clothing. Martina McBride section was one of my personal favorites. Definitely recommend but make sure you budget enough time before tours, if you are doing tours.

This was an experience that I will never forget in my entire life. I think I was most excited to go here over anywhere else in Nashville. We purchase tickets in advance and therefore were allowed to go straight in. You start on the third floor and work your way down to the first floor where the exit is. I thought that was very smart. The displays were incredible! I love older Country Music and they did not disappoint. I would love to come back here with my kids one today. I know they would love it as much as I did. The gift shop was awesome too!

If you're a music fan of any genre, the Country Music Hall of Fame is a must-see. Lots of history and stories. We also did the RCA Studio B tour. Not at all a country music fan (except bluegrass) but I thought this was a great museum. I learned quite a bit, they have some absolutely amazing artifacts, especially musical instruments, great exhibits, some hands on stuff. Really, really enjoyed it and I probably will explore country music outside of bluegrass because of this visit. If you like guitars, they have a fantastic collection to drool over, especially Martin and Gibson.

Listen. If you're in Nashville you MUST go to the Country music hall of Fame whether or not you like Country music. It's spectacular. Blows that other museum in Cleveland away. Always a rotating exhibit when you enter. We saw one for Bill Anderson. Two levels of amazing artifacts documenting the history of Country music from the 20s/30s through today showing the rise fall and eventual rise again of the genre of music. The guitars are amazing. Outfits and stage wear even better. Several cars including Elvis's limo and the TA from Smokey and the Bandit. Make sure you pay extra and go over to RCA studio B. It takes and hour and is absolutely worth the additional cost and bus ride over. I've been here twice and would come back another 10 times if in Nashville.

It was alright, nothing blew me away. If I were a huge country fan, it probably would have been really cool. The whole 3rd floor is the beginnings of country.. the second floor being the more modern era. There were a lot of artists, in my opinion, that have made bigger contributions to country, yet they were not found anywhere in the museum (or it was one item). It was a lot smaller than I had expected as well. Highlight of this stop was Bajo Taco.

Nashville is all about country and blues music, and this museum is a great way to explore a lot of the history and upbringing of the country music scene.
There are 3 floors to the museum and each one is layed out well so that it is easy to navigate and plenty of room. I'm not a big country music fan, but I very much enjoyed browsing through the museum learning about the history and see many of the artifacts that made country music what it is today.
Highly recommend booking the first visit of the morning so you can get in before the museum gets crowded.
We also booked the museum tickets with the Hatch Show Print and RCA Studio B combo package. It can get a little pricey to do this depending on how many people are in your party (about $75 for the 3 together), but it was very worth it.

Visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville is a musical pilgrimage that any country music enthusiast should undertake. Nestled in the heart of Music City, this iconic museum is a sprawling treasure trove of the genre's rich history.
As you approach the building, you're struck by its sheer size. The museum is a colossal three-story structure, with a distinct design that evokes the grandeur of the country's musical heritage. The modern architecture seamlessly blends with the surrounding historic district, making it both a beacon of the future and a guardian of the past.
Once inside, the Hall of Fame doesn't disappoint. Its vast collection covers the full spectrum of country music, preserving the legacies of legendary artists from the earliest roots of the genre to contemporary superstars. Exhibits showcase costumes, instruments, and personal artifacts of icons like Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, and Hank Williams, connecting you to the heart and soul of their music.
To ensure an optimal experience, arriving early in the day is advisable. This way, you can beat the crowds and soak in the exhibits at your own pace. It's also wise to purchase your tickets online in advance to bypass the lines that tend to form, especially during peak tourist seasons.
A trip to the Country Music Hall of Fame is not just a museum visit; it's a journey through the soul of America's music. It's a place where you can stand in awe of the legends, feel the rhythm of history, and understand why country music is such an integral part of the nation's cultural tapestry.

Recently updated exhibits spread out smartly to accommodate large numbers without feeling overwhelmed. Recommend the audio tour for more information that's different from what you can read on the exhibits! Fully accessible regardless of mobility. Small theatres so you can sit and rest at intervals throughout (3). Enjoy!

To be honest, I'm not much of a country music fan - but when in Nashville, right? The collection at this museum is vast, and you could easily spend hours here. Being a bit of an outsider to the genre, I would have loved a little more context for many of the displays, but maybe that's on me.

My family and I loved learning the history of each Hall of Fame musician and songwriters! Our kids discovered that there was proof that a lot of the music they listen to now was and is richly influenced by so many in the Country Music industry and not just something we told them to expand their music choices. There is also some fun interactive games and a recording studio that you can save and email to yourself that the whole family will have fun with.

Nice collection of all things country music. Worth a visit if you like history. Exhibits were good. So, i am not a giant country music fan. This is still great museum with loads of interactive displays, videos, and loads of detail in every display. If you're a country fan, it would be easy to spend 2 to 3 hours here. We spent about 1.5 hrs wandering through. I would not suggest it to younger kids unless they are music history fans.
Heads up, if you walk past the gift store, there are at least 2-3 places to have a bit to eat. The lobby restaurant was packed on our visit and a bit of a zoo.

I grew up listening to the old country music with my Pop Pop and transitioned into more recent country in my adult years. This place has it all. I loved getting to soak up the history and actually see what I'd consider lost artists in this fast past world. I'd give it 5 stars on one condition if there was NO TAYLOR SWIFT. She faked a country accent and has no place there. Completely ruined my first impression when her big, annoying name was the first thing you see whenever you get off the elevator. It's disrespectful to the other country music artists who worked hard to get to where they're at. She has a place, but not at this museum.

Went on Dec 22nd. Purchased tickets online and paid the extra $5 for the audio player. I'm a 52 yr old man who has listened to country music since I was a baby. This was my first time in Nashville, and I was very eager to visit this museum. The history of country music was well represented. I would have liked to have seen more of the blues influence, but I get that it's a different genre.
The displays were done very nicely, and the entire museum was impressive. If you go, get tickets online... it'll get you in much quicker. If I were to do it again, I would not rent the audio player.

The red-brick museum in DT Nashville showcases photographs and mementos from the life of music legend Johnny Cash, renowned for his contributions to American music. It is home to the largest collection of Johnny Cash memorabilia globally, surpassing even the Grammy Museum in Downtown LA. The museum not only exhibits numerous items relating to his successful career but also highlights his activism for prison reform and support for Native Americans. Visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee at the museum cafe while listening to his remarkable songs.
It's a small museum but it has a nice flow. There are lots of items to check out! It's very reflective, so picture taking is a challenge. The music is great 😉
There were a few items from Roy Orbinson and Jerry Lee Lewis too! It was so much fun, we'll do it again!

Little over priced for the small size of the Museum. Some good reading in there to look at and take photos of. The Patsy Cline museum above is even smaller, unless you have a heart tied a Patsy Cline I’d save my time. The cafe was ok until we found a long brown hair at the bottom of the beans… until that point we enjoyed the day. But the POP tech music was up to loud and the chicken a bit dry. The museum didn’t give a military discount but the restaurant did. The guys hat on backwards to the side that brought my food out didn’t look to happy to be there or say anything when putting the meal on the table. We love Johnny Cash, this is a one and done thing for me. The gentleman taking the tickets is the only one that should be getting paid in there. He explained a great deal to us. Just being honest.

4/18/2023: Beautiful museum. It takes about an hour to go through. Completely worth the time. This has been noted as one of the best music museums in America. I would agree. The amount of information inside is so detailed and iconic. It is dark inside, but I think that is for the ambiance. I was more of a Johnny Cash fan after leaving, for sure! It's pretty cool to be surrounded by so much history, fame and singing ability. They have a gift shop as you exit.

Very nice and detailed museum. We didn't know much about Johnny Cash, but I learned a lot and definitely enjoyed it. I liked to pick up headphones in many different parts and listen to different songs. Some of them were by other artists, including Elvis Presley.
There was a photographer taking pictures with Johnny Cash, and he did an amazing job. It is $19.95 for a print in a very nice cover and a digital download. Highly recommend to do it. It was fun for us!
Some little kid, a visitor, came with a guitar and ended up being coached by some guy, another visitor, which was very interesting and fun to watch.
Whoever planned and worked on the museum did a very good job. I wish there were more such museums.
Also, they open till 7 pm every day, which is very nice if you have a couple hours in the evening and want to do something useful, since all other museums close at 5. We really appreciated it.

Really well done museum in the heart of downtown Nashville, not even a block away from Broadway Street.
I don't believe one needs to enjoy country music to appreciate this museum.
Lots of stories, videos, relics, interactive music sets, and antiques pack every inch of this relatively small space.
There is plenty of American history intertwined with Cash's story 1950-2000.
I spent just over an hour her, but feel you could spent up to three.
Keep up the good work!!!

The staff was friendly, but the museum itself is fairly small. Some nice interesting things there. The museum is well done in terms of its design and creation. At the same time, I didn't get the chance to go upstairs, but there's a Patsy Cline museum as well. I am not sure why they don't combine the two or at least let two be covered by the cost of 1 ticket. Each museum costs well over $20 per ticket, and for that price, I doubt I will return.

One could really get a full understanding of who Johnny Cash was, his passions, talents, faith in Jesus and struggles. As a recovered alcoholic/addict myself, I have a place in my heart for those who struggle in addiction. The music video hurt was played at the end and had me emotional... Overall the experience was a perfect way to know who The Man in Black was and honor him. Johnny Cash was truly a legend!

Wonderful look at the life, the family and the music. Johnny Cash was the real deal! Impressive collection with lots of listening stations and great descriptions and history. So worth it!

Definitely better than we thought! When we got here, it looks like a tacky tourist trap (like those Ripley’s museums in every tourist town), so we were skeptical, but took a swing anyways… It is pricey too, I think $25/pp, but they do offer AAA discounts and I think first responder and military too (it’s only $1 off).
Once we got past the ticket counter and were inside, it immediately impressed us! The layout, the exhibits, the actual music playing from different exhibits, etc… All were great and very nicely organized. The various artifacts are fun to look at and read about as well. They have a nice video area showing all sorts of interesting things that Johnny did, definitely worth watching.
If you like Country music, southern rock, and/or Johnny Cash, it worth a visit!

Great spot for any Johnny Cash or Country Music fan. One can easily spend an hour or two looking around and listening to lots of Johnny Cash tunes. We went on a weekday late morning, and there was no line, but I noticed on Friday afternoon that the line was quite long with a wait to get in. There is lots of cool T-shirts and other stuff in the gift shop.

If you are a Johnny Cash fan this is a must see in Nashville. Honestly, it is amazing how many interesting things they have on display. If you buy tickets at the museum you can avoid the $2 per ticket fee.

Excellent private collection museum. Really liked the Hurt exhibit with the chair from the music video along with the video on a screen. If you’re a Man in Black fan it’s a must see.

The Johnny Cash Museum is absolutely classic! It is filled with so many treasures and memories! You can shop! You can eat! It's located on 3rd Avenue, between Demonbreun and Broadway, which is close to the heart of downtown. The museum is self guided and wheelchair accessible. Give yourself time to explore! If you are a fan of Johnny Cash, this is a must see.

Very well put together museum for Johnny cash , lots of items from his past writings and records and posters about the life of the man in black. A hall of famer that continues to inspire upcoming artists a good gift shop area as well.

This is like a Hall of Fame museum except for one person. There’s plenty of memorabilia but I’m not sure a lot of it is worth having in this museum. Seems like it’s there to provide things to look at. Some were interesting.
However.
We enjoyed learning the life of the man, not that we were big fans of his.
The price is a bit high for what you get. Doesn’t take long to go through. It’s not big yet they have videos of Cash singing his hits in rooms right next to each other so the sounds of one room bleeds over to the next which can be distracting.
If you are a real big Cash fan then by all means go. If you were only mildly interested in the man and his music save your money.

The Patsy Cline Museum is up stairs. Two spectacular galleries for two most spectacular Country superstars. It is so fascinating how much personal stuff of these stars has survived and been devotedly preserved. I didn't have enough time to scour ½ the detailed displays (museum closed @ 5 O'Clock - get there early; I was so engrossed I didn't take many pictures... will undoubtedly revisit these treasuries if I'm ever in Nashville again. DON'T MISS THESE!

What a wonderful presentation of The Man in Black's life and music career. The showcase walk you through the various decades and stages of his life and are very insightful, educational, and enjoyable. This will be really special for Johnny Cash fans.

The Johnny Cash Museum is conveniently located next to Johnny's Cash's bar!
This place is filled with cool stuff like his childhood report cards, military uniforms, and handwritten love letters to June Carter. The Cash Museum features interactive exhibits, an extensive gift shop, films, and a café.
Upstairs from the Johnny Cash Museum is the Patsy Cline Museum.
The Ryman Auditorium, known as the "Mother Church of Country Music," is a renowned live performance venue located in Nashville, Tennessee. Formerly called the Grand Ole Opry House and the Union Gospel Tabernacle, this historic 2,362-seat auditorium holds a significant place in entertainment history.
I toured the Ryman by myself today waiting for a friend to fly into town and it was a wonderful visit. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable and it was a neat feeling to walk into a room with such history. They play an informative video to start (don't skip it) and then the rest is self guided. You can get your picture taken on the stage steps and you get a copy for free in the gift shop! I highly recommend going.

I enjoyed the $30 tour. It includes a video that wraps around you. Displays of clothing worn by many of the greats, both old and current and framed play bills. You can walk freely throughout the auditorium which also let's you see where the techs work. A free photo is provided that is taken on the stage. The employees were lovely and happy! The gift shop is quite affordable. Definitely a worth while adventure. If you choose not to venture inside there are several things to enjoy for free outside.

Always love the Ryman! Of all the venues in Nashville, this is my go-to place! Much more intimate setting and there's no bad seat in the house. I've been to other venues in town but this is absolutely my favorite and always will be. The sound is absolutely incredible. They don't call it the mother church for nothing! It's also amazing the variety of artists that come there. I'm so glad it's one of the buildings that have been restored and still in use! Parking is easy with a parking garage directly next door and several across the street. There are actual church pews that you sit on but you can also bring a cushion. I've never been to a bad concert there! Can't wait for my next trip to the mother church!

Really glad I stopped for the guided tour of the auditorium. There is so much history in one place it’s amazing. If you like country music then this is the place to start. It’s really cool to see the videos and the outfits that were created by and worn by many stars of the past. The dressing rooms are particularly interesting with so many pictures of the stars who have entertained there. It’s fun to have your pictures taken on stage and the gift store has many different kinds of gifts that are all related to the Ryman.

Fantastic shows both Friday and Saturday. I love the residency program it makes my drive more affordable when I can catch multiple shows! The staff as always was outstanding the lines for concessions and bathrooms moved well and we're not outlandish. My balcony seats were outstanding and the sound top notch. The best at any venue I've been in. The place was clean also. Nice that they have a band in the courtyard while waiting to enter. Bravo! My wait time to get in included me showing up an hour early to get a Hatch Print. I always meet music lovers so I don't mind.

I went here for a show (The Infamous Stringdusters + Leftover Salmon) while I was in town and it was so fun! I didn't have time to do the tour beforehand, but hopefully next time!
The acoustics were unreal 😍.Although...maybe ear plugs would be a good idea. It's a perfectly intimate setting and so cool to be in the same space where so much country music history took place. I LOVED the pews - was worried we would be super cramped but we had plenty of space and it wasn't uncomfortable. Our seats were in the balcony (halfway back) and I was worried it wouldn't be as good so far back, but there really isn't a "bad seat" in the place (although I read ahead that the acoustics sitting toward the back underneath the balcony aren't quite as good).
Wonderful experience and can't wait to come back.

Ryman is fantastic intimate venue! Saw Van Morrison and can't think of better place. Built in 1892 (?) it has beautiful architecture inside and out. Was originally a church, great acoustics, and still has wooden benches. I lucked out and got end of row padded seat, lol. Highly recommend for any artist you want to see.
Martin Schneider — Google review
This was a very nice venue that truly gave me and my husband an intimate listening experience with the musicians on stage. We were just there to see Father John Misty and we were amazed at the acoustics, how sitting in the balcony we had a great view of the entire stage, and the workers there were all very friendly and welcoming. I liked the wooden pew style seating and while it was a tight squeeze and we were packed tightly in our row, the show quality was worth the social discomfort. I would be happy to see any musician on this stage again.
The stairs are quite narrow though and while walking up them I tripped onto my face so perhaps be warned. Still, solid 10/10 experience.

Did the self guided tour. Beautiful old church turned auditorium with tons of history. The tour features a short video explaining the history, exhibits with clothing worn by inductees, with more history, and a photo on the stage is included.

We completed the self guided tour on a Sunday and it was an awesome experience. Right from the amazing video introduction through to the cool displays, to the auditorium itself.
You can't help but get caught up in the emotion that the multitude of stars would have felt and still no doubt feel to this day when walking through the Ryman and taking the stage.
I would happily recommend a visit to the Ryman to anyone that has an interest in music.

Loved the history. Took the self-guided tour and it was worth every penny. Really enjoyed being in the place where so many got their start. If you like history, or country music, or both, add this to your list of places to visit.

The history in this building is really neat - but let's talk about the physical experience of attending a show here. Very often the folks who perform are doing so to a sold-out crowd. This church was built when humans occupied much less space than they do today. If you are 6 foot, it will be painful because there is no room for your knees. If you are even simply moderately sized, you will personally extend over the allotted space for your "seat". And even if *you* don't have long legs or happen to be a thin person, if you have the misfortune of being in a row with a couple other larger folks and your row is full, everyone will be squashed, because they are church pews and many sections don't have any type of seat divider. I know the pews are historic and we want to keep them historic, but the venue DESPERATELY needs to realign the spacing. Charge more per ticket if you have to, but I want to be able to take a full deep breath without every inch of my side body touching the stranger next to me. It's *genuinely* worse than any old, teeny tiny Broadway theater seat in NYC, and I have been in some bad ones. The positive: The acoustics in the venue are great, the bathrooms were clean and modern, the staff is kind. I appreciate that you can take in your beverages to the show, but I had people who spilled their open cup by kicking it on the floor and it dripped down into my space so my floor was covered. Nowhere to put your bag if the seats are all full and the floor is covered in red sticky liquid. ☠️

We visited the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN in February and it was a fantastic place! We purchased VIP tickets and our guide, Ken, was fantastic. He told us all about the history of this great place and took us backstage, in the dressing rooms and on the stage. The same stage the likes of Minnie Pearl, Charlie Pride, Bill Monroe and Loretta Lynn, to name a few, performed on. It was the fifth place of the Grand Ole Opry, from 1943 to 1974. The Ryman is a historical building and any music lover would love to see it. It was a Bucket List thing to do and it was an awesome experience.

This was such a great place. After we entered the Auditorium, we were directed upstairs to a movie theater. This was a film on the Auditorium and it's history. Amazing story. During the film, I now understood the importance of the place and how many things came and went. Have a good one.

We had a fantastic experience at the Ryman auditorium! I took my team to the haunted tour and we all had a blast. The tour was filled with historical facts as well as spooky stories going back to the early 1900s. We got to see dressing rooms, authentic costumes from BB King, and even under the stage. We were also very pleased that everyone in our group was provided a photo at the end of our experience for no additional charge.

We went to see two shows on two different nights and both experiences were great. The Ryman was a clean and well organized venue. Entry was simple with little security. The sound was incredible. Crystal clear and at a volume that did not require ear protection. The only downside was the seating. Hard wooden pews were not very comfortable. In spite of that, I'd love to see more artists performing there.

The Ryman Auditorium is an essential stop for anyone visiting Nashville, even if you don't have tickets or there is no show that day, it's worth stopping at. I say this because it is located in the heart of downtown Nashville, surrounded by a vibrant and safe environment full of wonderful retail shopping and all kinds of dining.
I went to a concert this summer and got tickets for the front row of the balcony. They were the most amazing seats, and I got them for about $100 each! There was nobody to stand in front of me or block my view, and my buddy and I had the time of our lives!
With it's rich history, our band opened by saying that it was a dream of theirs to play at the Ryman, and then proceeded to put on the best live show I've ever seen from them (and I've seen them play live 11 times before). In summary, if there IS a show, GO! If not, stop by and take pictures of the statues outside before continuing on to the surrounding attractions like Printer's Alley (the main street for all the bars and pubs). I recommend staying in a hotel downtown. You can walk everywhere with ease. Everything is close and safe, and you won't have to worry about drinking and driving.

We didn’t know what to expect when we came for the tour but it was very nicely done. The short movie and effects was very well made. The exhibits were quite minimal though and it isn’t advertised well but you can take a free photograph on the stage! It will be taken by a photographer for you, printed and available to pick up in the gift store. The gift store was also reasonably priced.

The Ryman Auditorium is such an amazing venue! The history in this building is unbelievable. So much talent has graced the stage over the years. I have seen many shows over the years here. This particular concert was Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade on Halloween 2023. So much fun! The crowd was definitely into it. The sound was amazing (I could feel the bass through my feet) and the light show was spectacular! The staff were super friendly and even though the lines were pretty backed up getting in, everything flowed smoothly and we weren't in line too long. I can't wait to see more shows here in the future!

First tour on our last full day in Nashville. Our tour guide, Drake, was very friendly and knowledgeable and provided a great experience. We got to see inside four dressing rooms(no pics allowed)since there were no performances that evening. Walked on stage and was truly in awe of the history. So glad they saved this historic building! We got a short tour of Johnny Cash’s last tour bus too which was included with our ticket purchase.

I had a ticket to a show in the evening and decided to take the self-guided tour earlier in the day. I bought my ticket I site and not in advance. There was just a short wait for the tour to begin. thoroughly enjoyed this experience. They show you a short film to start on the history of the building. Then you take yourself throughout the building. They had some artist memorabilia showcased and you get a free picture of yourself at the end of the tour - free print and then $5 to purchase a digital download. The staff/volunteers were all friendly and knowledgeable. The Johnny Cash bus was on-site and that was accessible with your tour ticket.
The sound and energy during the show I saw that evening was incredible. I highly recommend taking the tour and seeing a live show here!! I’m sure I will be back! Also - I had purchased a seat that said obstructed view at the end of an aisle (section 3 - row M) and I can assure you my visibility was not that obstructed.

The tour was great and well worth the extra time I. The movie alone 3D made me feel like I had got my money's worth. Getting a picture is fun. Great walking around seeing the memorabilia. Amazing place. The show spoke for itself!! Not a bad seat in the place. Great experience. Friendly staff. Gift shop nice too.

Watching a show at the Ryman is special, there's no denying that. We went to see the Black Pumas in April as it's one of our favorite bands. Eric is an amazing entertainer! You can't beat the acoustics of the Ryman. Drinks are easy to get with two concessions, although getting to your seat can be a challenge (which can tend to be uncomfortable if you sit too long). We will be back!

Walking into the auditorium was an experience that I'll never forget. To the effect of chills and goosebumps just thinking about all the history that has been made in that one place by so many. The most humbling feeling you could ever imagine. Sitting on the old pew and just taking it all in was just amazing. I can't imagine what it must feel like to stand on that stage in that building and do what you love. Something I've always dreamed about.

We went to see Amy Grant and Vince Gill's Christmas Show. We were extremely pleased with the ease of getting in even though several bus loads of people were in line as well. It was great being in this historic building. We did have a column in our view but it did not diminish the entertainment or our evening at all. This was our first visit to the Ryman for a show. We had toured it many years ago. We drove in from the Lexington, Kentucky area and would definitely do this again. Vince Gill and Amy Grant were great!!
The Hermitage plantation, a Greek Revival mansion museum and historic site, was the residence of Andrew Jackson, the seventh President of the United States. Situated on 1100 acres of land, it encompasses the mansion, gardens with a tomb, former cotton fields, and 19th-century cabins that housed enslaved individuals. A tour of this Nashville attraction provides insights into Jackson's life and character as well as information about the lives of those enslaved on the plantation.
Absolutely beautiful scenery. We did the mansion tour and the grounds access and there was so much to explore. It was really cool to feel you are walking through history and learn about the lives of everyone who lived there. I would recommend about 3 to 4 hours to do everything. We came around 4 and did not have enough time to see everything. I enjoy history and reading everything so it does take me a bit longer to get through everything. If you like just looking at pictures may need a little less time! But definitely give yourself enough time so you do jot have to rush! Would recommend.

The tour was straight to the point, didn't take forever either, maybe 30 minutes. The walk around the whole area was pleasant, and there's even a horse carriage ride you can take, don't know if you have to pay as I didn't take it. The price, in my opinion, was hefty for a little piece of history, coming in at $24 per adult. But it was a very nice day out so walking around and looking at old buildings was kind of relaxing.
As for what there is to look at, it's mainly Andrew Jackson's house with a few buildings you can walk into but there's not much in them and they're very small, I believe they have an event we're they play some older sport.
The gift shop was mediocre, mainly books about stuff other than the president.
There's "Wine Tasting" but no one was in there when I went in so, can't give you details on that, sorry!
Overall, it was a good way to waste a few hours of my day, enjoyably.
P.S.
Also, I met two awesome folks from PA during the tour and got my picture with them, however I forgot their names, if you two guys are reading this, feel free to follow me on here and I'll try and find a way to get in touch!

The website advertises that there is a winery and that you can stroll outside while drinking a glass of wine. I had to specifically ask where the winery was because it wasn’t marked well. Once I got there, I found out I couldn’t walk around with the wine due to construction at the museum entrance. Otherwise it was great.

We had a beautiful April evening to cruise the river! The entertainment was so much fun to listen to and watch. There was a lot of talent on that stage. We enjoyed getting to know the people sitting at our table, and food was good and filling. I especially enjoyed the dessert with a cup of coffee!

We had time between arrival and check in so we decided to stop and lock the grounds. We had about an hour wait before I could tour the mansion. There's plenty to do from the museum to the wine tasting to walk in the grounds to make that time go by very quickly. The grounds are gorgeous. All of the varieties of trees are very interesting. Thinking that some of them are hundreds of years old is incredible.

The Mansion Tour was nice.
They showed a short 25-minute movie about this place and the people
who had lived there.
The mansion was air-conditioned, which was good because of the extremely hot summer weather that week.
The four tour guides were nice and friendly and they gave our tour
a lot of interesting knowledge
about Andrew Jackson and his life
before and after his presidency.
They even politely answered our questions.
And we asked them a few.
It was my first time visiting here.
I bought some nice souvenirs.
Those ladies who worked in the gift shop were nice, friendly, and helpful.
We got a ride from an older gentleman
in a golf cart from the Mansion
back to the Museum and gift shop.
He told my husband
that he could drive for him.
I thought he was teasing;
but he was serious.
My husband talked to him
and we thanked him profusely for the ride.
We were tired of walking,
and it was so hot out
that we really appreciated that ride.
The other people, like us,
were hot and tired,
and I'm sure they also appreciated
that ride as well.
I would take our children
and grandchildren
back here to learn some
of our nation's history.

Very informative and a great experience. Definitely book the house tour. Some certain folks will always object to Andrew Jackson because he was a slave owner, but black people owned slaves too, so get over it, and there was a very close friendship bond with him and those that worked for him. The best fact to learn about Andrew Jackson, was that he owned a parrot, and it had to be removed from his funeral service cause it was cussing at all those present. That's my kind of bird!

Amazing home with lots of history about Andrew Jackson and his home. We did half hour mansion tour which included the grounds. They also have self guided audio tours which you can download on your phone in which you can roam around the grounds on your own. We also went onto the horse drawn tour. We spent about 5 hours here and just took our time wandering the grounds. Keep an eye. You may see a bunch of turkeys or a mole burrowing in his hole.

We did the outside tour only. It was great. It wasn't about the money. The difference in price was four dollars. But we were able to self pace the outside, rather than going at the guide's speed. We saw much of the Hermitage's ground floor through the windows. Highlights for us were the history of enslaved people and the gardens, including the Jackson burial cupola. Plus, we visited the wine tasting area. Very nice.

This home and plantation are well preserved. Tour guides were professional and very knowledgeable. The entire of the home is awesome, especially the mural, and how much is authentic.
Well kept grounds and other out buildings. Peaceful area.
The museum was excellent and full of great information about Andrew Jackson and had good information on the slaves he owned, too. Some great insights into life during his time and some details of his life.
Wish we could have taken photos inside (only reason not giving a 5 star rating). I understand why, with 80% of the items there being Jackson's belongings or from his family and so are very old and to preserve them, they ask for no photos.

We enjoyed touring the Hermitage. My son and I enjoy learning about history together. He is 7 years old. I have visited two times, but my first visit was about 25 years ago on a school field trip. This visit was like new to me. We had a great time. The premium guided tour is worth the price. I 100% recommend going that route. We spent about 3 hours touring the grounds and mansion. There is a lot of walking and standing, so be sure to wear some good shoes.

The day was chilly and misty so we didn’t have to wait. It was also early season which can add to less people. The house and grounds are a definite stop if you’re in the area. I wish we were there a couple of weeks later and we could have seen more in the garden.

As a fan of Andrew Jackson, this was an absolute thrill! I loved walking through history and trying to feel it as though I was there. The two tour guides in the house acted as though they were indentured servants forced to guide us through the house and showed little enthusiasm for their jobs. I loved the museum on site and thought it to be a thorough look at Andrew Jackson and his life and home. Despite the despondent tour guides and the harrowing price of admission, I believe this to be a true delight for any fan of history.

AJ'S crib and the grounds were awesome. This place is America's history. Make sure you walk the grounds and the house.
Also, be sure and check out the family cemetery. It's bizarrely interesting.
The staff here were awesome. They were very knowledgeable and friendly to boot.
This is a slice of Americana. AJ's is a great story. From orphan to soldier to businessman to President. Wow. Though, understandably, his policies are painful reminders for indigenous and African American people. Again, justifiably so.
The grounds are immaculate, and the house is even cleaner. I thoroughly enjoyed myself here, and I may have even learned a thing or three.

Very educational. The tour of the house was a lot of fun. I learned a lot about Andrew Jackson, our 7th president. Almost everything is original to the house. There were some things that were replicas, but not a lot. The grounds are beautiful. There are a lot of trees that are huge and very old, and they provide shade.

Well worth the visit. Very close to the airport so even if you only have a couple of hours, you can see and learn lot.
Matthew at the ticket booth gave great advice on how to make the most of our time. The greeter (and movie operator) at the main doors was very helpful too (didn't catch her name).
Movie and exhibits well worth the price alone. But then the mansion tour is very well done. It's about a 30min guided tours with tag-team type guiding (different guides for different sections of the mansion). All did a great job and we're very helpful with questions or special needs (we had someone in a wheelchair in our party and everyone was super accommodating).
We didn't get to see it all but hope to attend again.
Btw, If you are in a wheelchair there are steps (only) to the upstairs of the house. If that's impossible, at it probably is if you are in a wheelchair, they do have a notebook with pictures and explanations for you to review while the tour continues in that section. Everything else was very wheelchair accessible.

Nashville's lively country music scene can be found in the bustling Downtown area, which is home to numerous honky-tonk bars along the main street, Broadway. Visitors can enjoy big-name concerts and backstage tours at the historic Ryman Auditorium, or explore artifacts from Johnny Cash's life at the nearby museum dedicated to him. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum offers hands-on exhibits and audio tours for those interested in learning more about this genre of music.
The Grand Ole Opry, renowned as the authentic country music hub, is a must-see for enthusiasts of this genre. Established in 1974 to serve as the permanent residence of the world's longest-running live radio broadcast, it offers visitors the opportunity to embark on either self-guided or backstage tours. These tours present an array of distinctive memorabilia and intriguing behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the stars who have graced its stage.
I loved this tour so much!!! It was really cool to see all the backstage things for the Grand Ole Opry. The dressing rooms were really interesting to look at. They seem so simple but in my head, they were a lot fancier than they actually are. Most of them don’t even have their own bathrooms. Our tour guide was great! He told us which celebrities saw which dressing rooms. We were able to go on stage as well. I really recommend this tour & hope to one day see a show there.

First time to the Opry, and I was not disappointed. Really no bad seat in the venue. The sound and acoustics are great. Be prepared to spend a hefty amount if you plan to drink. Domestic beers were $10.
The presentation of everything is immaculate. The venue really goes above and beyond to make this a wonderful experience. There is a 15 minute intermission to allow patrons to use restroom or get food and drinks.
Buy your tickets as early as possible. Tickets prices go up closer to showtime, even when seats are the same or further back or to the side. Fee additions are what you expect. You shouldn't need to worry about parking as there is a big open lot in front of the venue that is shared with other local shops. They will make it seem on the website that it is mandatory (or at least imperative) to buy a parking pass.
My wife is a huge country fan, as I am more of a casual listener. Regardless, I still had a blast watching live music.

Wow. I had no idea How Much Fun!! Great venue. Great entertainment. The host is funny. The musicians are fantastic. Really enjoyed the music and the atmosphere is amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Driving was no issue and we got back downtown with no problem. The mall next to it looks Huge. I’m sure you could spend the whole day there. Get your tickets soon. They go fast and now I see why. Everyone had a great time. Enjoy 😊

My friends and I went to a country music tour at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville for a bachelorette party. It was both thrilling and memorable. As our first time immersing ourselves in the heart of country music, the electric and heartwarming atmosphere provided an ideal setting for our brides. The rich history and undeniable charm of the Grand Ole Opry truly enhanced our celebration.
The highlight of the evening was the backstage tour, which allowed us a glimpse into the magic behind each performance. It was both exciting and deeply moving to walk the same path as legendary country music artists, creating a wonderful memory for our group.
A massive thank you goes out to the Grand Ole Opry and our tour guide for making this event so special.

The venue is nice and you can see fine from anywhere. We were in the last row and didn’t have any problems. The seats are like church pews. They were comfortable. The show itself was entertaining as well. They had a variety of acts and each performed for around 15 minutes. It was nice to have them changing frequently. That way if they have one that you don’t like much it will switch out in a few minutes.

Wow! What a classic venue. You can feel immense talent that makes this a huge showcase for young/upcoming, current and ageless superstar performers. The Customer Service was great, even moving us and others down to closer seats. They keep things moving and in-between the MC is great. If close you have to check this out country fan or not.

What a amazing experience. We did the Circle room, Opry and post show. I could not find any reviews on the Circle room(premium lounge pass) but we enjoyed having a place to be before the show, drinks and munchies included until intermission is over. Included a photo and a guest drop in. Shout out to Maddie & Q! We would do it again. The Opry...wow! That was an awesome experience. We didn't know performers really, but do not need to. What an amazing show. The comedian was spectacular, the up and coming performers were outstanding and the Opry members were wonderful. I cannot say enough about all the staff we encountered. They made our experience so much more. Very friendly, helpful and they all loved their jobs & the Opry. We sat in section 4, row G. I would absolutely want those seats again! No watching screens. Thank you Grand Ole Opry, what a great night!

I enjoyed the show! We had upper bowl tickets and one of the hosts offered to move us to the lower bowl because there were 2 men in our seating section and we would not of all fit together...so moving to the lower area was exciting and a plus!! So thank you for that. The grand Ole Opry is so beautiful inside and a great place to see a concert!!

I was in Nashville for a few days and saw the Opry Country Christmas show. I purchased a ticket the day before at the ticket office. The venue is top-notch. It was easy to find my section. My seat was on the upper level but I could still see just fine and there were plenty of screens for a more up close view. Pew seating but it’s cushioned…plan to stand up or move out of the way if you have long legs and anyone in your row needs to get out. The ticket price was reasonable considering the number of artists performing. Concession stands sold food: snacks but also packaged salads, sandwiches and pizza. Alcoholic drinks were available. I had water and pretzel bites. Restrooms were easy to find and no long lines. I parked across the street at Opry Mills for free - that’s just a short walk. The show was entertaining and had audience participation. I did the backstage tour on a previous trip and recommend that at well.

Great place to visit when you're in Nashville. It is a major part of the country music scene history of the town. There are always great shows, I caught one on a whim, but was able to see country music legends and members of the Country Music Hall of Fame play.
Tickets were reasonable, and I got great seats last minute. There is also a huge mall across the street with lots of shopping, a giant Dave & Buster's, a steakhouse, an aquarium restaurant, many other food options, drinks, and more. The whole Grand Ole Opry is a destination in itself, what's a big resort hotel right next to it, tons of parking, the mall, and obviously the theater.

We couldn't believe how close we were to the stage, but I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. They also have big screens to watch the artists up close. There was a good variety of the Old and the new music. We even got to listen to a hilarious comedian, although many of the musicians made us laugh too. Seats were comfortable, bathrooms clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and beverages were also available to take to your seats to enjoy. Don't miss it! Every show is unique.

We enjoyed our visit, show and post tour. We saw a country classic show. They change up the shows so they have different people in different days of the week. It was a great venue with only 4,400 seats and there's not a bad seat and you could move around with ease because it wasn't overly crowded! That made it very nice!!
The show flowed well, Larry Gaitlyn did an excellent job hosting and it was a fabulous show that made you feel right at home!
The post tour, a behind the scenes look at what goes on backstage. was excellent as well! It's a solid 45 minutes of going through were the singers enter, quite a few dressing rooms and going on stage. Note, this tour was all standing.
The shop was large and had a variety of items but it was expensive.
A must see for any music fan! We definitely will take an opportunity to visit again!

At first I was a little concerned with selecting the $55 "cheap seats" but that's all that was available when we decided to go. I was relieved to see there is no bad seat in the house! It is such an intimate setting. We will definitely be back!

I had such an amazing day at the Opry. I took the Women of Country Tour and David was a wealth of knowledge on the women who have and currently call the Opry home. The show I attended was just so great. It was awesome to be able to share my first time at the Grand Ole Opry with Kasey Tyndall as she stepped into the circle for the first time. After the show, I took a post-show backstage tour and once again my tour guide, Michael had so much to share with us. Even though I had seem some of the backstage earlier, Michael had different information to share and I got to see different things. Getting to see where they filmed HEE HAW was so awesome as I remember watching that show with my Grandma, who is the whole reason I love country music. This was such a great day and I cannot wait to be back.

I saw Dashboard Confessional and Counting Crows Monday Aug. 14, 2023. Absolutely amazing concert in a beautiful, historic venue. It was my second at the Opry, and I will definitely be attending more concerts there. The only negative is if you are in the 30 sections of the balcony it's a very steep angle to see down to the stage. Otherwise, it's a wonderful place to see some of your favorite band.

Psychedelic Furs and Squeeze. The college self is very happy. Great venue, full of Nashville vibes. It was odd to be there for something other than country music. Free and plentiful parking was a treat. Short walk and lots of benches and places to sit if you arrive early for a show.

We were in town on a business trip and got to tour the Grand Ole Opry. Such a wonderfully unique experience! The tour guide we had was fabulous and entertaining- she made sure to cover the history of the place with a nice flair of fun.
The video they showed made me tear up, you can really tell it's an honor for someone to be invited to join as a member. We got to stand on the stage and it's unbelievable! I definitely recommend doing this tour and I can only imagine how awesome a show here is.

My recent visit to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville was nothing short of a sensational experience. From the moment I stepped inside the complex, I was enthralled by its grandeur and warm Southern hospitality. The architecture, both inside and out, was a testament to the rich history of country music, and it felt like stepping into a musical shrine.
One of the first things that caught my eye was the large gift shop, filled with a wide array of country music memorabilia and souvenirs. It was a country music lover's paradise. I couldn't resist picking up some unique keepsakes to remember the night.
The Grand Ole Opry complex also offered numerous dining options and places to grab a refreshing drink, ensuring that guests could enjoy a delightful meal or quench their thirst before the show. The convenience of having all these amenities within the complex made the evening even more enjoyable.
But what truly made the night remarkable was the size of the arena. It was just the right balance, not too big, ensuring that no matter where you sat, you had an excellent view of the performers on stage. And what a show it was! The tribute night featured Garth Brooks and several other country music legends, leaving the audience in awe with their extraordinary performances.
My visit to the Grand Ole Opry was a memorable experience. The exceptional complex, a vast gift shop, various dining options, and an intimate arena made it a night to remember. If you're a country music enthusiast, this iconic venue in the heart of Nashville is an absolute must-visit. It's a place where the magic of country music truly comes alive.

This is a wonderful venue to see great entertainment! The seats are Pews. *If you have any back issues the seat will get uncomfortable. Intermission is a great time to move and stretch while standing up.
When purchasing Tickets for a show also purchase Parking. It makes it so easy to walk/use a walker /wheelchair under the lighted covered walkway to your vehicle and leave. Traffic moves really smoothly too.
As you can see it’s decorated beautifully for Christmas. So much to take in. The Opry Mall is close too if you want to go out to eat or shop prior to your show.
Alcoholic beverages are served at the bars set up in the foyer before a show and during intermission.
Restrooms are located on the far right inside. The Restrooms outside on the far left are available to access before entrance inside.
There is also the Axis Shop for purchasing tickets, the Opry Gift Shop along with The Roy Acuff House close by.
You will not be allowed to enter until the entrance time. If it’s cold or rainy the Gift Shop or Mall are close options to wait.

Wonderful evening at the Grand Ole Opry. The show was fantastic. Larry Gatlin was a great host, very humorous. Loved him singing with his brothers. He really shared his deep feelings for how precious it is to sing at the Opry. He was so warm and welcoming to the new singer Mae Estes. Chuck Mead was great, lots of fun tunes. It was amazing to hear Leona Williams and learn about all the songs she had written. The Bellamy Brothers were fabulous, they did all there No. 1 hits, so much for to sing along with. The whole show was warm and comforting, like you were being entertained by family. It was my first Opry show, hopefully I will get to go again one day. It's a long way to go from Montreal, Canada. 🎵🎸🎶🎵🎸

It's difficult to explain how fantastic this show actually is. I'm not a massive country music fan, but, when in Nashville, we figured we should go. I'm so glad we did. It was a fascinating mix of big stars, up and comers, and forces behind the music industry that we'd never heard of, but turned out to be highlights. If you don't recognize the line up, don't let it dissuade you from going - our group thoroughly enjoyed everyone.

What a great night! It's not cheap, and I think the earlier you book, likely the better prices you get.
But I was surprised with how the whole thing worked. Multiple artists, 2-3 songs each, really good pace - we loved it.
The atmosphere is great, although where it loses its 5th star for me - if you are sitting in the higher rows,.it wasnt quite loud enough. The view was great but I could hear conversations around me better than the music. The other thing, the on air advertisements is kind of gross. I've never been to a show/concert where they are saying between every act, "and today's event is brought to you but (xx) because when you are in need, trust (xx), it's the #1 (xx) in America". Cheesy and weird.
Did get to see Don McLean sing American Pie, Adam Wainwright made his debut, Connie Smith, but I think our favourite unexpectedly was Riders in the Sky. Cute, witty, funny and great.

Wow! So many great performances all on one stage in one night! For best seats, buy tickets when you are planning to visit. We bought these tickets on Saturday for the Tuesday show. We were close by off to the side. For the best view, sit in the center where the performers are most of the time. Traffic is ridiculous as there is one way in and one way out. Give yourself plenty of time!

This is our 3rd visit to the G.O. Opry. If we lived closer I'd go to a show there every month. It's a small intimate setting and the crowds are always respectful. No one is yelling, whistling, or standing up in front of you like at typical concerts. There's not a bad seat in the house. Acoustics are spectacular! We stopped by for a tour of the Grand Ole Opry and it did not disappoint. It is a beautiful facility and the history is so rich. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and they take you back stage to see the unique and stunning dressing rooms. It was a wonderful experience and we are so happy we went.
The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is an upscale establishment situated near Nashville International Airport and the vibrant downtown area. It boasts a grand scale luxury experience with its glass atriums, indoor gardens, and pools. The resort offers a variety of amenities such as a spa, dining options, and even an indoor river. Its location on the banks of the Cumberland River provides a picturesque setting for guests to enjoy.

Great place!! My church goes here for an event called lads 2 leaders. It’s always so fun walking around and exploring the place yearly!! I look forward to my weekend visit year-around. Except… Last year on Easter weekend this lady was being so rude to me and my family and kept following me and my friends everywhere we went which was really not that fun at all!! Was here over the weekend, the place was sold out They must not be fully staffed. 30-minute lines to get coffee in the morning, and 2 1/2 hour wait to get into any of the restaurants on Saturday night. For a place where you are paying $300+ a night, the best options for food are the Food Trucks they have outside. And 4 drinks from one of the lobby make-shift bars were $50. Very pretty property and the staff was good considering the situation. But the property was not prepared for a full house. One of the restaurants lost our credit card, which someone the next day tried to use. And the phone in the room was broken the entire time, even after we informed the front desk twice.
Had higher expectations but we still had a nice time, should have been much nicer. I understand the lack of employees, but if you aren't able to provide a premium product, you shouldn't ask for a premium price. Crazy thing is, I would probably go back under different circumstances. It is a very beautiful property. Landscaping is beautiful.

What a beautiful hotel!!! It has been such an amazing experience here! From the gardens to the music, it has absolutely been worth the expense. They have had live music each night and even a fountain light show for free! I took the delta boat ride throughout the hotel and that was super nice. Some of their restaurants are overpriced with not overly amazing food, but that has been the only downside. The pool and hot tub are nice and there are plenty of locations to get a drink or snack! Loved wandering around here and finding all of their attention to details!

Overall had a really pleasant stay here. The gardens are absolutely magnificent and it’s fun how they are all intertwined with all of the rooms. If you have an inside facing room, you should have a small balcony looking on to the gardens which is fun to people watch from. The views all around make you feel like you’re in a lush tropical environment. Be prepared though, to be charged for everything, and everything is expensive. Breakfast sandwich…10 bucks, water…5 bucks and so on. We did not attend the water park as it’s not part of your hotel stay, but took a peek at the area it looks nice. Service was friendly everywhere we went the the food was average. A neat place to stay none the less.

My family and I have been going here for over 10 years and loved 🥰 going until…
It became Marriott. It lost its personality and human touch. We ask for accessibility rooms near the elevator in our profile and when booking or checking in. We were placed at the end of a hall near an elevator that the bellman said he took the long way to avoid the incline for the wheelchair. When checking out we spoke to Felicia who did her best to help . She engaged the manager, Thomas and things went down hill. He was not considerate or concerned about the fact that we were not give the ADA provisions that we requested. He was very short with his answers and threw $50.00 at us like that was an apology. It was not and consumers pay too much to come to these hotels and not be treated with respect or regard. There are other hotels happy to have our time and money separately or collectively. COVID protection is over, but hotels are still claiming up charge and bad service to its tab! We are powerful together and change is needed! People not profit first please!

I stayed for 4 nights last week as was not overly impressed as this is listed as a luxury hotel. I stayed in the Garden section of the hotel, first walked into my room, and stepped and a super sharp piece of plastic I thought was glass. My bathtub was filled with 1 inch of water, there was hair in the shower and hair throughout the room. The room was not well lit, even with all lights on. Also, it was NOT soundproof in any capacity to the point where you can hear any and all conversations clearly. I used the iron which had a large crack in it and didn’t work, so I had to have a new one delivered to the room which did arrive promptly.
We stayed with a large group who was in a different section of the hotel and said that their rooms in that section of the hotel smelled like a trash chute. We had dinner in the older section of the hotel and immediately smelled the trash odor which was borderline unbearable.
The atrium is remarkable and is what you are paying for. There are a variety of things to do in the hotel as well, however, that being said, I would not stay overnight or pay more than $150/night.

The Gaylord Opryland is a strikingly beautiful conference center. Clean and well-maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful. The amenities are astounding. There are many nice choices for grabbing a snack or a full meal even late into the evening. However, the Gaylord needs clearly marked handicapped access areas and MORE ELEVATORS to the various session rooms. I was using a knee scooter because of a toe injury, and at one point I had to abandon the line for the elevators going to the mezzanine level because they would show up on the second floor already full from the main floor. The doors would open, there be no room for more passengers, and the doors would close and go on to the mezzanine level. A friend had to carry my scooter while we used the stairs after we waited for 20 minutes. As a result, we were late for our workshop. I realize it is very difficult to retrofit a large hotel with more handicap options but the planning should’ve been better when it was renovated.

My husband, youngest child and I stayed here this past weekend. We were greeted by Cory, a bellman, and he was so helpful as we unloaded, got checked in, and found our room. This place is massive and has a some fascinating history. Cory shared some fun facts and also helped us navigate to a couple places within the resort. We got to watch many of the Christmas lights being hoisted up and hung from the rafters. There's plenty to see and do right here but there's also a large mall within walking distance. Highly recommend!

The Gaylord is a beautiful hotel and a great location for our conference. It is ultimately too far away from downtown to enjoy Nashville. There is an extremely religious vibe to the campus, and even though there are bars and delicious restaurants throughout, there was an agenda. The room was fine and clean, terrace and garden view was nice. Doors to the bathroom and closet are too close together, and everything bumps together every time one opens a door. The shower drain was broken. On my last day, I had a 12 pm. checkout, and housekeeping banged on my door 3 times after I had requested to be left alone. There isn't a grocery or pharmacy close by, so either plan on driving or paying 3 times as much for anything you need.

My dad stayed here for a couple of days, but I only stopped by to visit and did not stay.
The rooms seem nice and spacious, but very expensive. Their room overlooking the atrium was $600+ a night. I believe having a room overlooking the atrium would be nice nice for sleeping, because you would have some ambient noise from the water which would be relaxing.
I had never heard of this place prior to my dad staying here, so I was mesmerized by how much there was inside. The landscaping is beautiful.
Their check-in took approximately 15 minutes. There was valet parking available and huge lots.
I believe they had to pay an extra $26 for parking in addition to the price of their room.
I would be interested in coming back for a day trip, but I don't know if I would be able to justify the cost.
This place is wheelchair accessible, however I feel like navigating it in a chair would be quite cumbersome as there are so many different levels and you would have to find how to get to a lift to get to where you're wanting to go.

Been years since my last visit & the atmosphere outside the rooms are still amazing. So much to experience & so much to see. Especially if you have kids. This is a great place for them with LOTS of areas to explore & experience. Unfortunately, guessing COVID has taken its toll. The rooms did not live up to the cost. When I arrived there was left over syrup dotted on my counter from I’m guessing the previous guests, which my hands & computer found. Yuk! The shower head had pink stuff building on it, & it was very dusty in the room. The front desk was good about sending someone up to clean up the room, but they only did the main room, & left streaks on the TV. Seemed like a very half a&$ed attempt, but I’m assuming staffing has been a challenge.
For what you pay, It’s a “grand” experience outside the room, but not inside. Don’t get me started with the cost of parking per day. It should be valet at those prices!

Very huge and Beautiful. They have plants and trees from all over the world and it's just gorgeous. A huge selection of shopping and restaurants. I saw many families there and they have activities for the children. They decorate for every holiday and season. Very comfortable beds/rooms if you're staying the night. The fountain show is very beautiful at night. They have an inside river with a boat to take you throughout to see the beautiful scenery. It is a little pricey but it's well worth it.

An amazing hotel! Almost feels wrong to call it a hotel, it’s basically a resort. It’s incredible how it’s essentially a small town inside of a building. The atmosphere is incredible. The water, the glass ceilings, the sounds, you could really make an entire vacation out of this hotel alone. I would also definitely pay the extra price for an interior view room, it’s amazing to just be able to look out on the hotel from your balcony. It’s a little pricey but definitely worth it to stay here for a few days.

I would say when it comes to resorts, this is the best resort that I have ever been to. I was there for a conference and it is incredibly large and comfortable. The rooms are large and comfortable. I rarely sleep well in hotel rooms but in this case, I slept very well. There are small things that they could improve. For example, in the gym, they can easily add a section for a bench press or dead lift. I only ate at their restaurants once because it is way over priced. Every night instead of eating at the resort, I just walk 15 mins to the mall and the cost is half as much.

Hickory steakhouse was perfect. Nicholas was a great server with an excellent helper. Appetizer shrimp were large, crab cakes didn't have much filler, bacon was yummy. The steaks were all perfectly seasoned and cooked, lobster mashed potatoes were amazing with 2 tails on top, desserts were good. Wine selection had something for everyone. The mixed drinks were different and refreshing. Miss scarlet, the smoky old fashions, and the one with frambois were very well received. Just a great place to eat.

Overall, the hotel/resort was OK, and the grounds/common areas were cool. The gardens and walkways were filled with beautiful plant life. The waterfalls were gorgeous, and the sound of the fountains was relaxing. The indoor pool space was nice and clean and nearly empty, but the locker rooms were ice cold. The outdoor pool/spa areas were closed due to snow. There are plenty of overpriced stores and restaurants to eat at.
The food we had was good except for the salads we ordered from room service, which were $20 each with no meat, and then they left off the cheese and olives, so it was a pretty overpriced bowl of iceberg lettuce.
The rooms were decent and good-sized. I loved its balcony overlooking the gardens and a giant walk-in closet/dressing room. I did not love that the walls were so thin that you could hear the toilet in the next room flush. Not to mention the screaming baby for over an hour in the middle of the night, which woke me up and kept me awake. There was no microwave to heat leftovers, although there was a mini fridge. The shower was ADA compliant; however, the bar holding the shower head was not correctly connected and awkward to take down. Also, there were two shampoos and no body wash. It would also be nice to have two sitting chairs in a room this size. Most people travel in pairs.
The resort's sheer size is incredible, and there is much to do. But considering that I came in visibly disabled and used a cane to walk, the staff assigned a room that was the absolute furthest from the conference center (the reason we were there), so I spent the entire week limping in pain from one end of the resort to the other to make it to the meeting. There are no reasonable accommodations for disabled individuals to assist them in traversing the massive facility. What would be a 5-minute walk for an average person forced me to leave 20 minutes before the meeting to ensure I could get there. While I could have RENTED a scooter or wheelchair, I don't feel I should have to do that when it would have been so easy to assign a room closer to the conference area or offer a shuttle from the front to the back.
Then, in the conference/ballroom lobby area, there are no benches or seating for those who need to wait and can't stand for extended periods.
My most significant memory of the week will be the amount of pain I was in by the end of every evening and the lack of sleep due to pain and thin walls. It unfortunately overshadows the beauty of the resort, which should have been otherwise very enjoyable.

An impressive property. Great with kids as well. The property is beyond big. The atmosphere with the water features, botanical displays and natural light was very comfortable. Rooms were average (no idea what the fancier rooms were like - I was in a basic double queen). The convention center was great. Food resources were adequate but I didn't experience anything over the top. This property is next to the Grand Ole Opry - walkable distance. I would definitely stay here on my next trip to Nashville.

This place is huge. They have waterfalls, hotel, atrium, and a river and boat ride. The hosts a variety of shopping places along with places to eat. The staff was nice. I didn’t try the food, but the food and drinks looked amazing. I did get a chance to take a boat ride. The guide was excellent. If you are ever in Nashville, you should give this place a try.

Beautiful hotel, gardens are spectacular! I don’t give a 5 stars because they had some deficiencies during our stay. They were run out towels in the 2 swimming pools. The price of the rooms is expensive for having these issues. They should have a more friendly and easy reservation system (app or website). I needed to go in person to book for a spa and the same happened to book in the aquatic park. Restaurants offer good food with different prices. My family and I have a great time but I feel the service was just ok. I was expecting more for the price that we paid.

When my wife and I arrived to our room at 9am Friday morning we were greeted with a room with little to no heat and the smoke alarm going off minutes after unpacking. The thermostat in our room did not work no matter what temperature we set it to. Our room was right next to the outside heater so at 5am we were woken up when it kicked on and blasted on high for about 30 minutes. We were also very disappointed in the fact that I couldn’t drop my wife off at the front desk with our bags when the windchill was in the -20’s since they had the drop off zones blocked off for our section of the hotel. We tried calling services multiple times on our personal phones and in room phones and never got an answer. $33 a day for parking is outrageous, especially when you are not guaranteed a parking spot. The atrium was also very cold, almost as cold as in our room forcing us to wear jackets for most of our stay at this resort that’s known for being a tropical stay. The “blankets” on the bed were just extra bed sheets, we would have froze if we didn’t bring our own blanket. Very very disappointed with this resort for how much a room costs. Not having the water park at least included with the room is unthinkable, even the cheapest resorts offer a swimming pool for free. The power has gone off at least 6 times during our 2-day 1-night stay. We will never stay at Opryland again and will deter anyone we know from staying there.

For the price of this hotel, I expected to to not have the issues we went through. We called the hotel a week prior to get early check in as we were going to a concert and would at the concert both when check in began and ended. We get there and they tell us we can’t check in until 4pm (this is normal check-in time). We told them our situation and that we wouldn’t be able to check in in their time slot. We were told again that despite calling for early check in we couldn’t. Finally, a supervisor overheard and sorted that issue out. This was good considering when we got back to the hotel that’s we were required to show our hotel key before we could even pull into the very front of the hotel property. If they did not allow us to check in early, it seems we would have been stranded for the night. We were then told we paid for self-park at check-in as well. However, when we first left the premises, we found out they didn’t put our parking pass onto our hotel key card. We then had to pay $115 over the course of our 1 night stay because they didn’t do this correctly. Even when we checked out, we told them because they tried to charge us at the desk for parking AGAIN, we showed them the receipts and they decided not to charge. They told us when we left for the final time to swipe the key card and it would let us out without having to pay again. It did not. We then had to hold up the line to call someone and get them to open the gate so we could leave and not be charged yet again. The rooms were okay, there’s nothing spectacular about them. The lobby was really the only wow factor of this hotel. The rooms look like any standard hotel room. The cleaning I also expected to be better for the price. It was cleaned okay but I expected it to be better than your average normal hotel cleaning considering it’s a 4 star hotel. All in all, I wouldn’t stay here again considering the price. Yes, it’s nice for pictures but nothing else.

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be disappointed.

This is one review among many, but absolutely deserving of the 5 stars. This hotel is by far the coolest place I’ve ever stayed. The rooms and location are great what you would expect- they are good and nothing to complain about. Yet the atmosphere of this place is so cool!
We also did SoundWaves as part of our reservation and it was well worth it. This was a great experience for me and my family!

The indoor, public space is absolutely stunning. The horticulturalists have cultivated beautiful spaces where you can lose yourself both figuratively and literally.
The rooms are comfortable. We did have a slight hiccup when we arrived, but the desk was able to resolve it quickly and professionally.
There are many places to get a bite from a simple burger to the Gaylord staple, Old Hickory Steakhouse. You don't need to break the bank to fill your stomach.
This was the only Gaylord we had not visited until this trip, and I truly feel it is the most beautiful.

It's not good if you are disabled and limited on where you can go. Everything costs extra. No booklet about resort and restaurant menus, all is available on your electronic devices. Food was only OK and long lines. Seemed weird that the Mexican restaurant had you wait in a very long line to order and prepay. Including the tip before you know what kind of service they provide. We tip according to the service we get. Check in and some employees even had a snooty attitude. At $650 per night per room, I would expect some respect, not an attitude. Dip in bed, slow drain in main sink, no makeup removal wipes and toilet paper I wouldn't buy even during the shortage. Concierge said the trolly goes downtown but forgot to mention during the week, only leaves at 9:30am. Took 1.5 hrs to get a step stool for our disability room. The bed was so high couldn't get on and off safely. Door peephole is at 6 foot. We won't consider staying here again. Every year my family travels to some nice resort around the world. It does look nice.

This place is absolutely stunning to stay at! There are many different conservatories with many different things to look at! The way this place was built is beautiful with plants, waterfalls, and great architecture! There is also a good amount of shops here that you can go to and there are good restaurants here! The hotel had everything you needed and it was nice and came with water bottles which is awesome because I always need water. The best part of the hotel is the balcony though because it looks out in one of the gorgeous conservatories! So if you are ever in Nashville I would definitely recommend staying here since I had such a great experience!

Absolutely an incredible and gorgeous place! And massive! During our stay at the Opryland Gaylord Hotel in Nashville, we had a great experience that exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel welcomed and valued. The hotel itself is stunning with its beautifully landscaped atriums and vibrant atmosphere. The hotel is not just a place to stay, it’s an experience. I had a concern about noise because of the amount of people on the property but the room was perfectly quite and comfortable. The food was also very good with many options to choose from. The overnight parking was $28.00 a day. Overall, our experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a fun experience, excellent accommodations, magical atmosphere, good food and great service.

This was my first time in Nashville. I came here for a work conference. Checked in at front desk. Walked a mile to my room to discover that my keys didn't work. Security came up, let me into my room. I requested them send someone back up with working keys. They did. New keys wouldn't work. Called front desk and requested they change my room. They did. Woke up at 7am and went to my work meetings. Came back to my room at 5pm. I had a white envelope with 2 $50 bills in it that my work had given me as spending stipend. Looked inside the envelope to discover 1 $50 bill missing. No one else was in my room ever except for the person who cleaned my room for the first time. Horrible experience. Staff who steals money. Maybe I shouldnt have put the envelope on the nightstand next to my bed, but really? Just steal 1 of the 2 $50 bills? Reported it to their security. Waiting for the hotel to correct this and make this right, so I can come back and remove this bad review. Until then, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. Truly disgusted.

This hotel was nice, refreshing and relaxing. It was easy to get lost but they did provide everyone with a map with your room key. Nice restaurants and shops. It had everything you needed indoors including a library. It's like a perfect escape from reality. Definitely worth visiting.

Where do I start? 1.) Most of the staff could barely speak English which made it somewhat difficult to understand when checking in and/or asking information about things. It's an extremely difficult place to figure out where to go and find your way around. Had trouble finding our room and no one spoke good English.
2.) Charging an extra fee for a non valet parking spot on top of your room charge is a little ridiculous!
3.) The rooms were clean,.. however, for what you pay I was expecting more. I've honestly seen nicer better equipped rooms in cheaper hotels.
4.) No place inside the facility,.. stores, shops, restaurants, snack machines, no place takes cash! Seriously!!?? An American establishment not accepting cash? Really? Their website states "Its our goal to "accommodate" all our guests." NOT TRUE. What about us that prefer using cash over cards due to the increased chances of scamming or identity theft? My Wife and I had to venture out to another area for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner each time.
My Wife and I were very excited about visiting/staying and was extremely let down. We will not return or visit again. If you do decide to visit The Grand Old Opry Show I would recommend staying at another near by Hotel at a much less expensive price and just visiting/walking around in the Gaylord Hotel for free.

There is lots to see inside the resort. Huge Conference Center and large water park. A good amount of places to eat without having to leave but pricey. Beautiful views, great garden, and water features. Room was nice but for the price I expected more. Don't know if I would stay here again but I would definitely visit if I was near.

Very disappointed. I expected much more for the price and brand. Do better.
Check in lines were stupid long. 30+ minutes all morning and afternoon. Thousands of people and <8 people working check in.
Electronic key in the app didn't work....so after waiting and waiting it was back to the lobby. The place is huge so it's a hike with your bags, thru people traffic. Again. Good news is I got my steps in.
$37 to self park. That's a joke.
Restaurants are PACKED! Even later it's a 90+ minute wait to eat at any and all sit down restaurants....so we're forced to eat the over priced 'fast food' like garbage.
Layout is confusing and signage is not at all helpful. Up, down, east, west then up again...oh no, sorry, I meant down.
Rooms are basic. I expected more for the price. AC turns resets the mode you set it in if you don't move every few minutes which means you'll wake up in a much warmer room temp vs. what you set.
If you can't handle the crowds, reduce them. Don't sell as many rooms.
On the plus side, it is very visually pleasing. Water features, lighting, plants, glass dome roof, etc. The grounds are very nice.

Room was clean but the toilet was very low for a senior. Several places to eat! Plenty to see, you will definitely get your steps in at this hotel. I did not like that the pool was not open and therefore we had to buy tic to the water park. It was a fun experience but we were unable to go back the next day because I used points for my hotel stay( I'm a Gold elite member) so the tickets were a separate purchase. Not cool Marriott!
We will likely return.

We didn’t stay here this visit to Nashville but it is a unique place to walk through. You won’t be disappointed with a visit and as others suggest park in the end of the mall lot closest to the hotel for free and just take the 3-4 minute walk over. It probably takes 30-60 minutes to casually walk through all the hotels areas and enjoy the greenery.

I think the recent reviews are pretty spot on. The hotel is so confusing and the signs are awful. It’s not just the size that makes it confusing, there’s 5 ways to get to one space and it is a mess. Everyone I met was just as confused. It is not near downtown Nashville (I knew this, no biggie for me, just letting others know). If you don’t make reservations you won’t be eating anywhere other than cascades (I happen to love the place but they don’t offer a lot). The valet is WONDERFUL. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. The front desk was awesome. The prices are INSANE. You should definitely just go downtown to eat- it’s a better vibe and cheaper. They have a waterpark but you can only use it if you book it with your room. I wish they just had a nice pool for guests.

Enjoyed my stay at the Gaylord - am here for a conference. It's massive, beautiful and a plant lovers delight. A stream meanders through the middle with vegetation all around. Know that you will walk - a lot - and there are lots of stairs to navigate if you don't figure out the somewhat tricky pathways. They do have helpful staff positioned strategically to help guide you when you get lost (and you will). I had it all down by the end of day two but did 10k steps today and never went outside. My room was nice, but far and I definitely would ask for something near the courtyard if I'm ever back here. Housekeeping never showed up until around 4 each day so there's that. If you are here for a conference, bring the family if you can...lot's for them to do. Great variety of places to eat without leaving the building. It's like a mini theme park (but nice). Fantastic gym and pool.

We went here during the weekend for our church event for Lads to Leaders. It was very nice, but this place is like a maze if you haven’t been here. Rooms are very nice, especially if you get a room with a nice view. The service is very good especially security, my daughter scrapped her knee and reopened her wound and security was very voice and detailed about the situation. They even followed up with a phone call to make sure my daughter was ok. The food there looks and smells amazing, we had pizza for lunch one day. I only gave it a four star because it is very expensive here. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

This place was massive! We stayed two nights, had an exterior room and an atrium room the second night. We went to sound waves and spent most of the day there. It was clean and so many different water slides and things to do. We ate at the Fuse and had grab and go breakfast at the cocoa bean.

Had my homeschool prom here! It was amazing! A lot of our parents helped out and I must say, the people that run the prom do NOT know how to organize. The majority of this they could've done DAYS in advance, but instead they made everyone set up EVERY SINGLE THING in FOUR HOURS on the day of prom. Regardless, this hotel is absolutely MASSIVE and it is gorgeous! Wish we could've stayed here!
Former Native American hunting ground now features a lake, campsites & 6+ miles of hiking trails.
We had an amazing two week stay at the campground. The staff were incredibly friendly. All the facilities were incredibly clean and the entire grounds were well maintained.
With the gated entry and the ranger always nearby we felt incredibly safe at all hours of the night
The camp hosts were always around and eager to help. They provided recommendations on restaurants, nearby activities and other state parks to visit. I found their firewood to be a better deal than that from stores in town.
The wildlife was plentiful and very accustomed to people. Often I would enjoy my morning coffee with a whole herd of deer about 25 feet from my window.

Nice to see wildlife in the park also. Have seen a ton of deer walking around and not too far away. Has been very quiet compared to a lot of other places we have stayed. Have heard owls and other nightlife talking. Very comforting place.

Bledsoe park is relatively small as state parks go, but offers nice easy trails and areas that are perfect for the whole family. Just behind the visitor's center is a paved trail area that's perfect for kids and those less mobile. There is a large playground and a few game areas too. The Shoreline trail will take you all the way around the park and is about 4 miles of easy to moderate difficulty (mostly easy but there is a section that goes down to the lakefront that's a little steep). No fishing or swimming at this park though.

First trip to our first Tennessee State Park. Stopped at the welcome center and learned much information about the park, and other parks. Very friendly and welcoming. We walked the paved paths on our first visit...camping, fishing and boating is available in addition to the over 4.5 miles of hiking trails available. There is a playground and picnic tables near the welcome center. Looking forward to exploring more!

I'm a bit biased because I'm a local. Bledsoe has a nice campground with several water sites. The trails are nice and this is an overall peaceful place for walks, camping, light hiking and peace and quiet away from the business we all get wrapped up in. We try to camp here once a year. I love the wildlife here too.

It's one of the top 5 on my list because the trails are well blazed and the amenities are great. Any monies that park received was well used for visitors center, restrooms, playground and trails. The RV camping is near trails and lake. They also offer Storybook trail for children that is the 2nd one I've seen so far in the park's I've visited. There's a few docks to stop and take pic's of Lake and the trails connect if wanting to hike further. So so many 🦌 everywhere plus plenty of bird sightings. Easy terrain you can do without heavy boots. Just a wonderful easy hike with friends and family. Enjoy. 🦌🐿🐦🐢🦃🐾

Bledsoe Creek is a small State Park, but it offers camping, hiking, boating, playground, and history. One of the trails is set up for children, educating them on the foliage and wildlife in the park. Some trails are paved, making them suitable for handicap access. Dogs are permitted on the trails. There are lots of benches making even a casual walk enjoyable. The longest trail is a combination of the Lakeside and High trails and is suitable for training for a 5K run. Its total length is about 3.1 miles. The park provides a safe environment for families since it is regularly patrolled by Rangers. Cell reception is strong enough to play music on my phone throughout the park.

Beautiful campground. Super friendly park rangers. Clean restrooms. Large campsites.
A couple negatives: sign on restroom says showers cost $5, pay at office. Arriving early isn't a good here. You I'll have to wait at the boat launch til your site is clean.
Despite those two things, it's still a great place to camp!

Ive been going to The Mint casino, Franklin, TN for a year now. I love this casino’s atmosphere but I have been in there almost every weekend playing high bets and have not won any good money! The most I’ve won was $1,875 and Ive spent THOUSANDs of dollars in this place. I have a membership/rewards card and I’ve been Gold, platinum, Diamond 3 times! Have never won a Major or jackpot. The payouts are ridiculous! You have to keep feeding the Machine for free spins to still not win any good money. I thought casinos would keep up with their members and reward those that consistently come back because it is a business! They have to do better with people who’s in there playing all the time for the love of just being at their casino. We are the people that consistently come back! Unfortunately for them I’m not going back. They made too much money off me for small payouts. ✌🏾

The Mint is always fun, clean, and safe. I go late morning, every 6 weeks or so. Yesterday I had $5 in free slot play, and hit the Lucky Leprechaun for $50.60 just playing minimum bet, then hit it again for $35.25. No wonder it's always occupied and couples "tag team it" so no one can get on it!
Moved to my other favorite machine near the restrooms (big white tiger on front display), put in 2 $5 bills, got a bonus round, hit it for $55.70. Not bad for an hour of fun! They have a lot of fun perks for slot club members, not crowded weekdays. There were bonus round bells going off all around me. I hear the birthday perks are also great - a friend got $200 cash + $75 free slot play, then hit a PacMan machine for $240!!

We were just traveling through and we saw a billboard and we thought we would stop. It seems like a pretty new place. Was very clean it wasn't too smoky, but it was early on a Sunday when we were traveling and maybe all the smokers weren't there yet. They did have a non-smoking area up on the second floor, but it was very small and very few games. My husband and I being non-smokers, my husband an ex-smoker we really would like to see casinos really expand their non-smoking areas.

I love the atmosphere and ease of the games. I just need to be more careful with the bets. Not every game is the same minimum bet. However, it's still a great place to visit, and don't forget to join the players club! I love the promotions they have going on. Bingo is upstiars. The friendliness of the game was so refreshing. Plenty of time to dab your cards, and they have electronic bingo! Will be trying that out next time. If you get hungry, the cafe has a great burger! The Mint Cheeseburger and the Mushroom Swiss burger are super good and decently prices. I haven't gone to the Iron Steakhouse as that is way above my budget. However, i hear good things.

To be honest I want to give it one star because I never ever win here but I'm not really that petty LOL. The reason I gave it four stars though is because I'm a semi truck driver and there's no parking for us at all so you have to walk about a mile from the truck stop to get to it. Just a warning it is a smoking casino for all you non-smokers there is a non-smoking area but but it still travels. Whenever I visit there under construction so it looked like half their parking lot was under construction too so not a whole lot of parking but they're still a good amount the casino was clean itself and it looked like they were walking around sterilizing machines so it seems safe enough.

Great place to go when you are ready to lose money. Disclaimer, casinos aren't in the business to lose money. If you are feeling lucky, the place is filled with a great amount of slot machines that have different ranges for betting. This place allows smoking inside and high limit area. There is a full bar inside as well a great food dinning area. The players club staff was friendly and helpful. The cashier's also was very polite. Highly recommend going all positive experiences that is not based on wins or loses.

The Mint Gaming Hall in Franklin, KY is a great experience and a lot of fun. The staff are wonderful and the place is very clean. They aren't just a place to just play slots, they also celebrate people's birthdays, they do giveaways like every hour, and they send offers and free play to you in the mail as an incentive to keep coming back and to let you know they appreciate the people that come out and play. So in reality even if you don't win while you're there playing slots, you're still a winner by everything they just give you for being a free club member. So thank you for everything you do and keep up the good work🙂

We have been going to this casino every week for the last year and a half and found it absolutely a lot of fun. It's always clean and everyone is so nice. However, in the last month they've changed the machines and now it seems that they are not paying like they used to. That's a little disheartening though we're not going to give up but we talked about giving it another month to see if it's any better. Coming up here was really a fun part of our lives. We didn't win all the time. We didn't lose either but it was the challenge of each time we went
Now. Not so much. The new machines seem to take the fun away.

My first time at the THE MINT WAS NICE. It's located between Nashville. TN and Bowling Green Ky. I stopped by there on Superbowl Sunday and made it in time for the OT. It was Awesome. TVs were all the way around the bar. I noticed other rooms but really didn't have time. I was able to play some slot machines that are push buttons nowadays. I'm used to going to Derby City Gaming and Hotel in Louisville Kentucky. Not far from the airport.
But I did enjoy the The Mint. Worth checking out if you're in the area. They (The MINT) close early.

However maybe it's cuz I'm new to the whole big Casino scene how but it just didn't seem like it paid out enough for me especially not when I can just go to Baxter from Cookeville and when at least my money back nearly every time if not double it why go nearly 2 hours away from home when I can just go 10 minutes away? It's a beautiful place wish there was more kiosk and space though seems like the line just to go to the kiosk to do the promo play took nearly an hour
The restaurant Chaney's Dairy Barn is a farm that offers self-guided tours and events including activities for children. You can enjoy homemade ice cream, sandwiches, burgers and more while visiting the bucolic South Central Kentucky farmland.
The ice cream is really awesome here. We enjoy eating ice cream in the play area with the grand kids. Though this is little away from the city, it is worth driving here and enjoy in the open countryside environment.
They also host many events for kids and families. We had seen one movie also in the open air, after it gets dark. We are one of their regulars. We come with our guests here and everyone likes a unique experience.

Absolutely love this place. It has a great vibe all the way around. They serve lunch including hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, and a variety of other items. Plenty of places to sit with an upstairs and downstairs as well as an outdoor area. It seems you are encouraged to walk around the property and enjoy. The ice cream is fantastic. Our group all tried something different and they were all amazing. Love the kids area. Huge slides, swings and things to climb on with a barn that overlooks it so you can stay in the shade while you watch your little ones. We'll be back.

Stopped here because of the reviews. Grill food was okay. They can’t accommodate allergies. Ordered meals and they just went back and took off the items instead of remaking them without. Ice cream was good. Chocolate milk was worth the stop. They have a playground for kids. Nice place to stop for ice cream and let kids play.

I Love coming here. They have a fun little gift shop and the ice cream is so well priced and good! Food is also decent. Love that you can visit the cows and that they have a playground outside for the kids to enjoy. All I wish is there was an area more towards the smaller kids to enjoy but aside from that this place is great.

Unique local restaurant that was recommended to us by a local person. If your in the area and would like to try something other than main stream establishments go here. Our food was great as was the service. We noticed an ice cream counter that was very busy. This is a walk up counter order and find your own table type of place.

A small group of our family motorcyled the morning away and felt like ice cream. We found Chaney's and the homemade ice cream was awesome. They have meals as well. Our 2 grandsons enjoyed the children's large play area . It's a great place for a burger or ice cream. Affordable,Cleanly, good seating,
Clean bathrooms and a friendly helpful staff. Can't beat it!!!

We always stop at Chaney's every time we are in the area. We tried the carrot cake in waffle cake for the first time. Delicious!! The ice cream tastes like butter cream icing with chunks of carrot cake. Definitely must try it for yourself.

Our kids loved playing on the free outdoor playground.
I would recommend stopping by and getting ice cream.

Popped in on a Monday night in the summer, and apparently, it was free scoop night. Line was very long but moved fast and when our ice cream was free it made it all worth it! Staff was very nice and place has cool homey items for sale. Playground was very busy with families and the jumping pad thing looked cool. Definitely worth the stop..oh yeah and my ice cream was super decadent and delicious!

We came here to see how the dairy farm works. Wasn't really sure. But it is a fantastic story!! Very educational. Beautiful happy cows!! I wish I could have pet the babies so bad. They were so cute in their little pens off on the side. We had ice cream. Chocolate milk. Burger. Grilled cheese. Potato salad. Everything was great! I did wish that they had the bananas for the banana split but that was all that went south food wise. The ice cream and milk was Chaney's brand and so good and creamy ice cream!! They definitely take good care of their ladies! Happy cows make me happy!!

A Saturday evening adventure with our daughter and granddaughter. We made a dinner / ice cream and a show of it. I had the turkey sandwich it was good processed meat was thinking it would of been sliced turkey but it’s all good I’d eat it again. Service is great atmosphere is nice and there’s a lot of things to do for kids. The movie was free and it was a great experience for us. The ice cream was ok I has the chocolate chip mint ice cream. We would do it again even with the long drive.

Wonderful place for kids of all ages. My family has stopped there for years when we are in the area. I got my 1st coffee cup from them this year.
My kids love the playground even in summer heat. The ice cream is the best in the tri-state area ! This is a must go for families.
Underground cave tours are a great way to explore Bowling Green's Lost River Cave complex. The attraction offers an interesting experience on a subterranean boat ride that is appropriate for all ages. The tour guide provides information about the history of the cave and underground waterway while visiting "blue pools" near the entrance of the cave.
We really enjoyed our visit today! The boat ride was nice and the cave is beautiful. Our tour guide was super funny and made it so much more enjoyable as she educated us on the natural history of the area. I felt good spending money here, knowing that the proceeds go to and not for profit foundation set up to preserve this historical cavern. The site also ties in with Civil War history, which was an extra bonus for my boys.

Pulling in the parking lot we had no idea what to expect. After entering the gift shop to buy spots on the tour, we found a wonderful place for souvenirs.
The staff was super friendly and gave us all the information we needed to start our adventure.
Walking down to the cave is a beautiful Scenic route. 🚶♀️🚶♂️🚶Once we reach the end of the path and saw the cave, we were pleasantly surprised at its splendor. 🤩
Our guide was full of energy and made us laugh many times during the boat ride.
I recommend you don’t forget to fit this itinerary on your next vacation. 😁

A very short experience in the cave itself. The surrounding area is beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of parking and staff to assist. The gift shop is on the pricey side but has all kinds of options for everyone.

If you love being surrounded by the wonders of God's creation then I highly recommend the nature trail here. With beautiful scenery and interesting facts about the Lost River along the way it is sure to please any nature lover. I have yet to take the underground boat tour but I'm sure I won't be disappointed when I finally do. The gift shop has unique and beautiful items for sale and the employees are very friendly. My grandchildren enjoyed the rock mining and the Lost River spring more than anything. I could go here every day and discover something new.

We've been through numerous caves, and although this one does not have the massive stalactites and stalagmites (which they explain about during the tour), it was a very interesting cave and I loved hearing about all of the history surrounding the cave and the area. Our guide, Jayden, was both personable and knew what he was talking about. I wish I had known ahead of time about all of the trails in the area as well because I would have planned to have more time before or after our tour to explore the area some more. I am very glad that we decided to do this.
The walk down to the cave was intermixed with things to see and stories to hear, so it wasn't too fast for anyone in the group and our overall group ranged from somewhere 6 months to somewhere upward of 60. You walked back on your own and at your own pace for the uphill part, and it really wasn't bad. There is a gravel parking lot at the very back of the property that will knock about 10 minutes off of the return walk if you are worried about the total distance. One woman had her son go and get their car for her. Nice short distance, so very easy to drop one person at the front desk to check-in, then drive those worried about the walk to the back of the parking lot and park there.
The only warning I would have for people with balance or knee type problems is that the two steps down into the boat can be a bit hard to manage since there isn't anywhere really good to hold onto. The guide was holding the boat steady, so he wasn't able to help much. Even though I was headed to the left side of the boat to be seated, I walked in on the right side and used the rail on shore to hold onto, then moved over to my side.

We had so much fun on our visit to Lost River Cave. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Nashville. This was our sons favorite part of vacation. It is just a short 45 minute drive from Nashville and well worth it. I purchased our tickets online and there are a few benefits of that. I was able to get a discount on the kids mining buckets which they loved! And you also receive a coupon for the gift shop. The tour guides do an amazing job and know a lot of history about the cave and area which I enjoyed. Really all the staff from the gift shop to the guides are super friendly and helpful. If you are visiting when it is cooler be sure to bring a jacket you do have to walk outside some and will want a jacket.
Just a note our kids are 9 and 2.5 and it was perfect for them. I was unsure if our daughter would enjoy it or be entertained long enough to sit still for the tour but she did fine. I highly recommend the mining bags or buckets kiddos get to pan for treasure (gemstones shark teeth and geodes) outside of the gift shop and ours loved that experienced.

This cave was beautiful! I enjoyed learning facts about the place from our tour guide. You can also rent the area for a wedding! It was really pretty and very neat to ride the boat through the cave, my son loved it. Also I think its less than a 20 minute walk to the cave or for the start of the cave tour. They are kid/baby friendly as we took a 9 year old and a 9 month old on the tour. The gift shop had lots of cute knickknacks too! We didnt have a wait to buy the tickets but we had about a 20 minute wait from time we purchased tickets until our tour actually began, which was totally fine with us as there was plenty to see to occupy our time.

2nd time here. 1st time seeing the butterfly exhibit. I love that they did it, but dislike that people touch them too much. The boat cave tour was amazing. Hannah was a great guide (5/28/23). Loved hearing the history of this place. Please go out and support this amazing little wonder!

This tour was good, not great, but a nice stop if you have extra time near Mammoth Cave.
This was the only truly wet cave we ventured to. It was a nice albeit short boat ride through the cave. Our tour guide Emma-Claire was so passionate and informative. You could tell she was interested in what she was talking about, and did a great job of inserting humor in with the history.
The cave is very pretty and the gift shop has a good selection of trinkets and handmade goods from local artisans.
This wouldn’t be a tour I would repeat, and think the price doesn’t necessarily match the length and overall experience, but still glad we experienced it.

Just got done with the boat tour and loved it. What a unique experience! Our group had a toddler and it was great—they had kid-sized life vests (required for those under 13). This seems pretty doable for different activity levels, with these two things in mind: 1) there is a bit of a walk to get to the start, so give yourself extra time, 2) at one point on the boat you have to duck pretty far down so as not to hit your head. Staff was really knowledgeable and friendly. Nice visitor center and bathrooms. Other activities available and spaces for picnics—could spend several hours here. This is run by a nonprofit. Would totally recommend to others and go again!

Tour guide is very passionate and knowledgeable about the cave and knows how to deliver information to audiences with different ages. It was fun listening to all the information he gave to the tour group.
Lots of interaction between the tourist and the guide, pointing out formations of the rock, and ducking our heads down to squeeze in through the cave made up the entire experience
The whole tour was very exciting, and memorable experience. I did not know that Kentucky was full of cave until I got here and learned about it.
Highly recommend to come check this place out! Family-friendly!
I don’t know how often the tickets sell out, but you can book it online or in person!

Absolutely loved it! We had Becky as our tour guide and she did a great job with commentary and history. It’s not a super long tour so you can talk smaller children on it (there are life vests and the water is only around 4 feet deep). Would definitely recommend.

This place is really relaxing and calming. I love coming here when I am in Kentucky. They have a great gift shop and very friendly staff. The grounds are beautiful, there is hiking trails and a butterfly garden that is fun to see. It is a good place to get out in nature. I love seeing the creeks and hearing the water.
The tour is short but I enjoyed the boat ride. You don't go that deep into the cavern but I would definitely recommend coming here. It is beautiful.

Definitely book this tour! We were searching for a cave tour that is easily accessible as we had two with us that had small mobility issues that could not do much of the hiking which would be involved with the other cave tours around. They both made it up and down to the entrance with ease. Our tour guide was fantastic, knowledgeable and made the adventure enjoyable! The boat tour itself is gorgeous.

Lost River Cave is phenomenal! I had my wedding here over the weekend and I got so many compliments! The staff were so helpful and professional. Their get ready building was so helpful! I got to hang out with my girls and hook my phone up for music! I strongly recommend this venue for weddings! 10/10!
We also did the tour and that was so much fun! We encouraged everyone from our guests list to go before the wedding as well!

We came for spring break, and the boat ride through a cave is one of the things our kids were the most excited about. It was their favorite cave tour. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience here. The hiking trails were perfect for our youngest child’s little legs, and well maintained. The boat tour was a lot of fun, and a different experience than the other caves we toured. Something I saw earlier in the week at their gift shop was gone, and they were able to go into their storage area and get exactly what I wanted. It made my day because I came back to the gift shop a few days later specifically hoping that item was still there. Would recommend to anyone!

What a neat experience! It was quite unique.
We had an entertaining tour guide who shared a lot of stories about the cave and area.
The actual time on the boat in the cave was shorter than I was hoping, and you don’t travel very far. Other than that it was fun. I wouldn’t go a second time but I’m glad I did it once.

Great tour to check out the caves. We purchased tickets ahead of time, and the tour was right on schedule. The time in the boat on the water was only prob about 10 min, but it was cool to be down there. If you're in the area, I would recommend adding it to your list of things to do.

This was a different cave experience than what we are used to since this one is in a boat. It isn't a long boat tour but it is interesting. The grounds are very nice and the staff is nice and friendly. Our tour guide was fun. They also have ziplines, a butterfly sanctuary, and nature trails. There is also a very nice gift shop. This is one tour that you probably wouldn't repeat, but it is definitely worth visiting.

The National Corvette Museum is a car museum located in Bowling Green, Kentucky that features over 80 Corvettes from across the lifespan of the car. The museum has interactive exhibits and allows visitors to get behind the wheel of a Corvette stimulator. It is a great place for families to visit and learn about Corvettes history.
I was honestly surprised how much fun it was. I'm not a huge fan of cars, but there were some seriously impressive cars, but also great displays and artifacts in the museum.
My husband and father-in-law absolutely loved it and they are why we went.
The tickets were not too expensive and worth what you got out of it.
I particularly enjoyed the sinkhole exhibit.
I probably could have spent longer at each exhibit, but we were a bit pressed for time. I'd say give yourself at least 2 hours to go through the whole tour.
Erin Grigson — Google review
This place is beautiful. We didn't get to see the private collection, and I wish they had some sign at the check-in desk that have the hours of when they are open. Also the cafe was closed (closes at 3p) when we went and I was looking forward to doing that too but they weren't open.
The Museum has a wonderful collection of corvettes over the years. They deliver their timeline beautifully. TCM also shows their entire sinkhole collection and history of everything. They have a special room. It's magnificent to see. You really feel the energy from that day in there. It's displeasing to say the least. But, wonderfully put together.
There are lots of photos of the different era cars on the Google page, however, I clicked the snap button on my favorites.
I did check out the brick engraving and that's $125 to do that, but gets shared after a while due to weather. However, they do have nice octagon shaped bricks inside and those are $250 for non members and $200 for members. This would make for a better option if you would like your legacy to live on for years to come.

The experience was a great learning experience for the history of the corvette. Well worth the stop for car enthusiasts. My kids enjoyed some of the interactive exhibits. The corvette collection is fantastic. So many I would love to own. Also the sink hole exhibit was interesting and educational. The children did the simulator and both were frustrated with the steering of it but both were glad they had done it. Probably just a one time event for me..

This place has a little something for everyone to enjoy! My husband and teenage son loved the cars from top to bottom and from the inside out! The younger kids loved designing their own car and seeing it displayed on the big screen! The girls particularly liked the different scenes of cars displayed during their various eras. The sink hole has its own special displays, which was fascinating for everyone! We were tight on time, but we’ll be back!

You don't have to be a Corvette nut to absolutely love this place, but it helps to love cars!! A superb museum with everything you need to see and know about Corvettes. The main lobby is also the delivery area for people to collect their new cars, so you get to see the absolute latest cars too. There's also a great exhibit about a sink hole that swallowed a load of cars from their collection... very interesting.

I grew up in a Corvette family, so this was a must to stop and see. It just happened to be on our way home from vacation. We added a night in Bowling Green to be able to see this and Mammoth Cave. The history is fantastic and the cars are oh my!! Both new and old, fantastic! If you love cars or Corvettes, then you need to stop here! I did purchase my tickets online ahead of time. You need to go visit this place if you like cars.
We decided to add the guided tour to our ticket. We thought it would add more to the experience. Wow, were we correct. Our tour guide, Jackson, was amazing. Although he was young (19 to 21, we guessed), he knew so much about the history and construction of the Corvette. Jackson worked on the assembly line, as did his father and grandfather. You could tell his love of the Corvette. With 3 generations of knowledge, Jackson was able to bring in personal stories to the tour, not just dry facts. We loved every minute of our tour.
The museum is extremely interesting. They have Corvettes from 1953 to today. The displays are well thought out and the descriptions well written. It isn't just a bunch of cars lined up like a car show.

Had a great visit to the Museum. Glad to see that they were open on Sunday and went with my 2 sons. The place is very well kept and modern. They had a restaurant, library and archive (not open), gift store, stimulator and of course the main museum. We loved the Education center and all the interactive activities within. It kept my 8 and 4 year old entertained and excited. The 'shrine' to the cave-in was awesome and informative. I do wish they left a bit more of the cave-in exposed but probably couldn't for safety reasons. All this along with the awesome, historic Corvettes made it a trip to remember. We plan on returning.

Came to the Tri-Five Nationals for the first time and was blown away. Such a beautiful area! The bathrooms were clean and well managed. Everyone was so helpful if we had any questions. The cars were beautiful and just extraordinary. So much classic history in one place! Can't wait to go back again next year! The drag race was amazing!!

I like this place but I honestly expected more from it. They have a small pool and splash park area for babies and toddlers which is really fun. Their wave pool, lazy River, and splash park for bigger kids is always a good time and keeps everyone cool and happy. Food is decent but the lines can get ridiculously long. There aren’t enough rides for small children but it is a good time if you have older kids. The workers there for the most part though are awful. Terrible attitudes, obviously don’t want to do their jobs, and some of the ride operators seem really young to be doing their job or seem like it isn’t a priority. It’s also very expensive so just be prepared.

Loved everything about it!

Beech Bend isn't a bad park, but it's definitely fallen off from when I considered it a five-star local park.
Let's start with the rides. Beech Bend is mostly populated by a large variety of carnival style flat rides, ranging from a swinging ship, to a classic tilt o whirl, to the newer Vortex and drop tower rides. There are three notable coasters - a very rough wood coaster, the Kentucky Rumbler, which has gotten considerably more rough in the last few years despite an excellent layout, a steel spinning wild mouse coaster, and a spinning kiddie coaster. Not bad, not great. Given some maintenance and retooling, the Rumbler might become a great coaster again. There are a great selection of water slides if that's your thing.
Now for amenities. Parking is free. Drinks were free in years past, but are now $3.50 for a 20 ounce drink (very disappointing). A burger runs 6.50, chicken strips and fries 10. Beech Bend Hall, which was previously a decently well supplied arcade, is now empty but for five claw machines and three carnival games. Ironic given that the walls still have skee-ball and arcade signs.
There are few places to cool down besides the water park, and little shade. I cannot recommend Beech Bend during the heat of the summer for those reasons. If unlimited free sodas return, then we'll talk.

The park is clean and a great size. Big enough for the entire family to enjoy but not *too* big to where you have to worry much about your kid getting lost. Nice size lazy river that connects to the wave pool and adult beverages are available, which is sometimes nice. Good variety of water slides and amusement park rides!

It's also great for families with young children as nothing is very spaced out. It is a smaller amusement park, but don't let that be a deterrent. My son and his friend had an absolute blast here.

We won tickets and got to experience this fun little place. It's like a carnival and a few big water slides. We went during the week... so not many people, that was nice!

We loved visiting here and was very impressed on how clean and kept up!! Kids loved the water park lots to do and it’s great for smaller kids.

This is like a big county fair meets a community splash/water park. They have a drag strip and camping too but we came for the park for our 3.5 year old. He loved it. The go karts werent running when we were there and the haunted house is probably PG17 at best. I went in it alone to scope it out. I wouldnt recommend it to young kids or those afraid of surprise shots. Regular tickets are $49.95 but we got discount from our local radio station.

The physical space in the park is okay, but only okay. There are a couple of roller coasters, but other than that, it's all state fair style rides that you can find anywhere. The staff are neither friendly nor particularly helpful. My biggest issue, though, is the fat shaming. They literally weigh you before they will let you get on the water slide, and if that weren't bad enough, they don't do it until after you've waited in line and climbed a bunch of stairs, meaning that if they decide you don't fit their perfect little mold, you then have to walk all the way back down the stairs, against the line, and process how you've just wasted a whole bunch of time waiting in line only to be humiliated and fat-shamed when you got to the end. I read the other reviews, so I already know that every time they get called out about this, they make excuses about how the manufacturer set the weight limit, but they're the ones who chose where to place the scale, and they're the ones who chose to buy a water slide with a weight limit in the first place. It is totally unacceptable and not that hard to fix. Do better, Beech Bend.

We look forward to the GS Nationals every year. This is the family you weren't born into. But I absolutely love the Heck out of them all.

Not a very long trail. But the path it's self is well kept with a nice small gravel.
There's repairs that need to be made to the benches, wildlife signs, and a water front cabin that's taped off due to damage.

What a beautiful way to spend several hours walking in the wilderness. The trails have some marking but you still need to pay attention at junctions. Our 2 mile Rocky Bluff Trail ended with a 5 mile truck as we headed on part of the Wild Turkey Trail. Bring your hiking boots and some water and enjoy a day in nature.
We went back a year later and continue to be surprised. A new visitor center with a big display area in construction as well as good site maps. With the Senior National Pass admission is FREE. Or it is a 5.00 per car fee that is still very reasonable. Plenty of short (less than 1 mile) loop trails as well as longer trails.

My husband and I are enjoying seeing eagles at the Wolf Creek Causeway Recreation Area. We also took an eagle tour which was excellent! We love watching the sunsets too!

I’m in love with this wildlife refuge. It’s been a source of growth, healing, and ...well, refuge.
It’s well maintained and staffed with friendly people. We live a couple miles away and frequently visit the refuge. We take the kayaks, the boat to ski, we fish, we hike the trails, and we communicate with nature. It’s glorious.

Had a pleasant walk at the Visitor Center trail. Nice lake. Lots of sweet gum trees! Path is well marked and quite easy. Glad we went.
