Great relax spot. Nice town with small boardwalk and cute shops, etc. The inadequate parking is a pain! Be careful so your car doesn't get towed from a side street. Wide variety of food from Five Guys to Subway to pricier restaurants. Public restrooms are clean, no changing in there though. Love the food at Casa DiLeo - on Rehoboth Ave., but much closer to Coastal.Hwy.

Rehoboth Beach is one of many beaches along Delaware's coast on the Atlantic Ocean. All beaches often rank high in water quality. A few things to note about Rehoboth Beach after visiting during the off-season during the winter:
1) Beach: It's a long beach kept clean. During the off season, locals can be seen walking along the beach for hours or working out along the beach and on the wooden planks that dip into the water. The waves are beautiful.
2) Boardwalk: It's an almost 150-year-old boardwalk with all the things during the main season from arcades to doughnuts to ice cream. When we went during the winter, most shops were closed.
3) Access: There are many entry points along the boardwalk, making it easy to come and go from the beach.
Austin Graff — Google review
A great beach, but the waves can and will take you down if you're not vigilant. It's also an exceptionally clean beach since glass bottles and smoking were banned on the beach and most parts of the boardwalk. Just keep in mind that the beach officially closes at one in the morning, and camping is not allowed on the beach. However, there are plenty of campgrounds within 5-10 miles of Rehoboth.

Great compact beach town and nice combed beach.

Nice long stretch of beach. A lot of hotels/ hostels near the shore. Great place to enjoy the sun, sand, wind and just appreciate the beauty of nature. Great restaurants to choose from in Rehoboth Ave and arcades in the boardwalk. Parking is free during off season.

really pretty and the broadwalk pretty too if you come early around 12-5 its gonna be really packed and hot but if you want less people come around 6 and later .

I went to Rehoboth Beach last year with my mom. It was okay, not the best beach I’ve been to. It was definitely overcrowded and overrated in my opinion. However, I am a person who likes some peace and quiet… so if you’re a big people person, this may be an attractive spot. I definitely recommend going to the Playa Bowls after your beach day… or if you like sweet treats… I would recommend Rita’s Gelato.

Best free beach. Family friendly, [You got that homey feeling] here. Located east of the Atlantic ocean, great place to people watch, sit back and relax, laugh and eat, yes, many food choices and if you like sweets, check out the candy kitchen, and free concerts.... A high desire spot for tourist as well as the locals. It was so crowded people were so friendly, what a great experience.

We were here during offseason around Christmas. The beach was deserted. It was very calm, peaceful and clean. All we could hear was the crashing of the waves and some birds. There were hardly any shops opened in the Boardwalk, but there were few gift shops/restaurants opened just outside the beach in the Rehoboth avenue. Parking wasn't a problem in December and it was free. Absolutely loved it during off season and it was very relaxing. Wanted to wade in the waters barefoot, despite it being a winter. It was so cold that it gave me Brain freeze. Lol. It was a great experience though.
Saiprabhu B — Google review
The trip is very nice and scenic, and the boardwalk is incredibly fun, and there is a lot to do. I recommend the daily parking if you are coming in by car and are going to spend more than 6 hours at the beach or at the boardwalk it is more affordable that way. There is quite a bit of walking, so bring comfortable shoes if you want to walk around and look at everything rehoboth has to offer.
Funland on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk is a great place to go with your family, as they have many rides that will excite everyone. While it can get crowded in there, it's worth it to try some of their classic games as well.
This little amusement park/games center is a slice of history, a family-owned business, and a fun place to take kids for an afternoon. The rides are mainly geared towards kids up to and including highschoolers, but a few of the rides could be enjoyed by adults as well. You pay for rides by buying sheets or books of tickets in advance, then pay before you get on the rides. Bigger rides cost more tickets. There are pay-as-you-go games for prizes, and coin-operated games that eject tickets which you exchange for prizes. Skee-Ball, too. Great way to spend an afternoon near the Reheboth Beach boardwalk for young and old alike.

I always enjoyed coming here as a kid. I now love being able to bring my son to enjoy those same rides and continue on a family tradition. Always a blast of fun at a reasonable price. We will be back again soon.

Funland provides an abundance of amusement for visitors of all ages. It is an ideal destination to escape inclement weather while strolling along the boardwalk. The park features a plethora of indoor rides that are suitable for both adults and children, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all.

Nice place (Rehaboth beach)after Ocean city. This is a definite visit place especially if you like beaches and sand. The board walk is nice and you have many shops and eateries. There are fun games for children. Parents can accompany children in few games. Carry your shade umbrella and chairs. If not you will have to take for rent.parking at Rehaboth beach is just $2 per hour and you can pay anywhere and it's based on the vehicle number.

There are plenty of ride for your young kids and teenagers to enjoy we paid $23 for unlimited rides from 1pm to 430pm. If the kids get hungry there are plenty of places to eat. Great place, our kids had a wonderful time.

Fun location for younger kids! Must check out but expect your kid to want to win something.
This place is a lot of fun especially for the kids. They have a lot of Old school/retro kids games and rides. A lot of the rides are more geared towards kids younger than 5 and they do have a maximum height restriction. They also have many different games. Some games are simple and some are tough. All fun though.
Great place to go on a rainy day as that is when we went and glad we got to check it out. The kids were happy with their prize.
Overall, it is worth checking out if you have younger kids. A lot of fun for them, but expect to spend a little bit a couple dollars here and there to play or ride rides.

Nice place for your kids, lots of basic and big games, not to much time to enjoy some games If crowded, preferably to wear your mask when crowded cause place has limited area..

A fantastic wonderland geared towards younger kids, Lthough they certainly have lots of games--and a few rides--that will satisfy older kids, and older folks' inner kids. Rhisbplace is fun, affordable, breezy and nostalgic. Play the games. Win a prize. Ride a ride. Have the time of your life

Funland is a classic seaside amusement park. Full of rides for kids and families, along with midway games for all ages. Haunted Mansion is one of the most exciting rides at Funland! Love all the classic stunts on this suspended dark ride. Wish they would add a rollercoaster, as the entire state of Delaware is missing one.

We had so much fun here over the summer with the kids! Fun games, friendly staff, and some awesome rides for a decent price. We really enjoyed the bumper cars and the Super Flip 360! We’ll definitely be back again next summer.
Samantha Petrus — Google review
I love these rides. So much fun. We would ride the one in OCMD yearly until now. Equally fun but different. Cannot go wrong at either.
Not gripes but the line is long. Cars are not that big. Cramped for 2 adults and a 7 yr old. Bummer that next year we'll be splitting up cars.
It was a Wednesday night and packed up to closing.
Steve Steele — Google review
It was fun with a lot of rides , tickets were cheaper than other boardwalks they were right next to the boardwalk, I bought 25 tickets for $15 . My kids loved the speed of the bumper cars and the swinging boat!!
Tatiana Hernandez — Google review
Super fun place for families! There was something for everyone. My kids had an amazing time! It can get very busy but that's expected during the summer months.
Cape Henlopen State Park is a tranquil retreat situated on a former military base. Visitors can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including beach outings, disc golf, hikes, and observing the area from a tower. The campground is widely recognized as one of the best in the country with clean facilities such as private showers and well-maintained bathhouses.
Amazing find!!! We truly adored this park! The campsite was spacious, clean, and the history nearby is awesome! I was excited tho see that you could go up one of the lookout towers at the park. The showers were separate and clean. Staff was kind and helpful. Highly recommend this park for a wonderful stay! Just missing sewage onsite.

Beautiful park with an awesome borrow-a-bike program! The museum is very well kept and the nature center is filled with cool information! I definitely suggest stopping by the pier for the view of the coast and the Lewes-Cape May ferry. The beach was much less crowded than Rehoboth and stretched for quite a ways. There are multiple places to get a great view of the whole beach and the ocean. If you enjoy the beach, hiking trails, and nature, then this park is for you.

Awesome place to explore for homeschooling, camping, beach days etc! Started camping here with my family as a child. Recently returned with my own child & had a great time. Plenty to do and see if you are camping spend a few days & enjoy it all! Nature center, bike share, beaches, trails, lighthouses, historic areas, the list goes on!

A lovely park full of nature and history. I love that you can go up into one of the towers (Tower 7) and they have lots of educational signs about the local history. A fun way to spend the day!

My family and I love this place. It has miles of walking trails, free bike rentals, a cool little disc golf course and incredible scenery. We make a day trip out of it whenever we're in Bethany and it's never wasted time. Some of our best family memories are from this quiet, super clean natural area
Bill Ruffalo — Google review
Great park with lots to do for just $10 if you visit from out of state. We visited during off season during the first weekend of October.
We enjoyed visiting the Nature Center, which is a small room with 5 different fish aquariums and a small touch tank, which is nice for the kids. We were just a few minutes too late to partake in the borrow a bike program, but it's a great program that allows you to take a bike for free and ride the trails around the park. We visited the beach area, which has a convenient bath house and lots of space to stretch out along the sand.
There's sightseeing to enjoy- lighthouses, wildlife, and gorgeous water views. We definitely recommended climbing the observation tower to take in the sights. For a fun activity, count the number of stairs as you climb to the top! How many stairs did you count?
There's also an area to drive out on the beach for vehicles that are approved to do so, kayaks, and a military museum.
Definitely worth the trip in the summer or the off season.

We really enjoyed Hanlopen State Park with it's campgrounds and the beach as it was not crowded. Water was still on a cooler side. You can visit also Fort Miles historic place. This is such a great place for adults with children. The dogs are welcomed. Communal bathrooms are OK. You can purchase right at the campground's little store the necessities including fire wood. It was fun!

Excellent biking. Both finished trails, limited single track, very easy. Nice WW II museum. One of the towers was open to the public and was able to climate. Very nice fishing pier, with an osprey nest. Beautiful scenery, excellent history, and nature with awesome bird watching opportunities here.
Jan Genemans — Google review
Great park with kind staff. Spots are close together but have enough space. They have a picnic table as well as a grill. Many or all have an electrical hookup. The bathrooms are all handicap accessible. There were 4 showers in our area that were not only handicap accessible but also didn't require quarters. The park is beautiful.
Kristin Kosmides — Google review
By far one of the best campgrounds in the country- we travel tent camping a lot. Very clean, quiet during quiet hours, private showers, bathhouses are always clean, and the campground is within an amazing state park. Unfortunately the place is booked up a year in advance all of the time by out of staters so even us locals are never able to enjoy our own state park. Hopefully the state park adopts a more reasonable reservation system like 45 days in advance. It is our favorite campground and we haven’t been able to go in over three years because of this issue. So, book extremely early while crossing your fingers.
Rick Bailey — Google review
Nice beach. Gets VERY crowded in the summer - you need to get here early for a decent spot and/or some peace and quiet. Just be aware there are multiple beach entry points. The beach at the end of the road (“The Point” parking lot) is for people who park their trucks on the sand… we didn’t realize that at first. The better beach is the first one you come across that has the big parking lot and the pavilion/snack bar. I recommend checking out the rest of the park as well. There’s trails and some historical sites. $10/day for out-of-staters, $5/day for Delaware residents.

What a beautiful park. The lady at the front was so kind and informative. The signage, the park, the bathroom, the beach was all so great. We got to see horseshoe crabs, played the disc golf course and just overall loved everything about this park.
I would love to see more state parks like this across the US! They are doing something right here. Thanks so much!!

My absolute favorite beach.. Wonderful facilities throughout the park and the really lovely campground with warm showers and electricity. Fabulous history tour throughout the park with beautiful watchtowers and abandoned the barracks from the world war two. Free bike rental available until three p m. Gorgeous bike trails throughout the park

We came to see the old Fort stuff and did not disappoint. It was cold, rainy, and foggy so we were limited on the views. No doubt it's a great place to visit in the summer.

Beautiful beaches at this park. Only $10 to get in. Got very busy in the afternoons but the morning we were able to find parking and enjoy our space. Bathrooms available as well. A little walk to the beach but not too bad
Shannon Fultz — Google review
Cape Henlopen has an excellent beach with trails and camping near. They have ramps for the pier and ramp to go down onto the beach. It's a good experience for a quieter day of sun and ocean waves. I find these State Park beaches are popular in high season, but they settle down nicely after 2 pm in summer. Then, all day they're easy-going after the beginning of September.
I saw designated areas for dogs, and I promised our teen son we'll have a day with his little dogs. My husband and I spent a day there October 1st and it was busy but not crowded. The views of the lighthouse, the ocean, and sand dunes behind us made the day. This State Park and beach rates high in my book for having an accessible beach for disabled, plenty of parking, dog friendly sections, and being quieter without boardwalk noise, or street traffic.

The Gordon pond hike was nice and relaxing. It was fairly flat and scenic. Recommended as a family hike for all ages.

There's no need to pay during the off season but this park is stunning. The bay, the ocean, the piers, the display military equipment. My son loves tanks and this place was a blast for him! The hawk look out. The trails. This place is so much fun to explore. The towers are amazing as well! You can even see new jersey in some areas!

We love to go camping at this place! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and well ordered and the beach is very nice, especially if you go after Labor Day like we like to do to avoid the crowds. We enjoy the free bikes from the bike barn.(you can borrow them for two hours and ride around on the trails. For a large family it’s great not to have to haul bikes around with you.) I there’s a nice tower you can climb up and get great views from.

Our granddaughter had a blast here for Captain Kids weekend, even though it rained 🌧 most of the morning. First time back here in years. Since my kids was teenager. Now working on my granddaughter future for Captains Kids weekend. So much fun to spend time with your love ones. Trying the lobster roll for the first time, it was delicious 😋. $20 well worth the money 💰 spent. An the stick potatoes 🥔 was delicious too.

I appreciate their weekday 1 o'clock to 7 o'clock wristband special, but the only pier that opens at 1 doesn't have much of a variety of rides, and this is your only option with the weekday wristband from 1-5 PM. We did all of these in less than half that time (even with a lunch break) and were left to cram in the other 2 piers (with the bigger rides, longer lines and wider selection) into only 2 hours. Why not have the wristbands from 4-11 instead of 1-7? That way you could more evenly space out the rides across the three pieces that the wristband gives you access to.
If you are really into amusement parks, I would skip this and go to Six Flags or Dorney where there is much more to do and more thrill seeking rides!
Allie Lawlor — Google review
Very interesting Pier! Very nice lights and aesthetics to look at especially nighttime. Now the waterpark I had to get a refund cause if it rains just a tad they shut down operations. I did get a refund though and the employees are very helpful! All in all this is definitely my favorite place in Wildwood, New Jersey and the Ferris wheel is aesthetically pleasing as well!

Great place to visit. If you get tired of walking, trans are available for $5 per person or $13 for a day pass. However, you get to see and experience more while walking. Can also go play in the sand/ocean from the boardwalk very easily.

Took my kids to the shore. After years of living in Florida but being raised in Philly and NJ. My daughter wanted to come. She said she needed her boardwalk pizza and rides. So this was our family vacation. We enjoyed ourselves.

This place is soo cool!! We went on 4/30 so the amusement park wasn't open yet but there were still a ton of little shops all up and down the pier that were open. The beach looked immaculate and was huge!! This would be a great place to visit in the summer as there is sooo much to do in this town!

We were in wildwood for the day June 8th with my 11 year old granddaughter everything was closed except for the shops on the boardwalk there was nothing to do .plus it was raining off and on we were told the n are only open Friday Saturday and Sunday. From 6 pm to 10 pm .we were frustrated and sad for my granddaughter it had been 3 years she was unable to go to the shore since Covid and the day was a graduation gift from her dad .why doesn't anyone post the days and true hours the amusement parks are really open. There was hardly any people on the boardwalk and bike riders were still on the boardwalk when we were leaving at 330 pm. The whole day was depressing

The park itself is great. It's their customer service system that really needs work. I tried on two occasions to reach out with questions. Gave the system my information only to then just be stuck in a loop and no information actually sent to any customer service reps.

We’ve been traveling to Moreys piers every summer for the last 5 years. I’m amazed at how well-run, clean, and safe it is. We love the beach, boardwalk, rides, water park, etc. The workers are so nice and ready to help. We stay at the blue palms. It is very convenient.

Great boardwalk experience!! Impressive for cleanliness and safety. All the employees were attentive to the children, checking the belts and safety bars numerous times. Very clear in their directions and very friendly as well! And there was not a scrap of paper or discarded trash anywhere! They were constantly picking up. Given the crowds of families, it was an impressive feat!!

My family and I went to wildwood for a few days and had a blast. We bought wrist bands that allowed access to all three parks until 7pm. One park was 11am-7pm, then the other two were 5pm-7pm. I was worth the money. We were able to enjoy some rides, head to the beach, do more rides, grab food then even more rides!! Lots of fun!

A decent amount of rides were open considering the time of year in the ( may ) but it would have been nice to have more rides open considering only one out of the 3 peers were open.

I freaking love this place they have so much for people and doggys 🐕 to do I love that I can have my dog with me everywhere when im there even in some stores and food places. And the doggy park on the beach is awesome he had so much fun this past week there. In September it's nice cause theres not crazy amounts of people and it's not too hot its perfect. Plus they don't charge to go on the beach like other nj towns do. It was so nice were talking about buying a place there to live. 😊😇😍

Spent the evening with 5 of our grandkids and families. The rides were fun and the kids had a blast. Morey's has figured out a way to take the guesswork out of the decision a d just leave in the fun. So during Black Friday Moreys piers Aka blue palms ran a winter sale which I purchased because it was a fabulous deal. I also stayed at blue palms last year- it’s funclusive meaning they give you unlimited dry rides and water park rides on all piers for the duration of your stay from check in until I believe 4 or 5 pm the day of check out. You CANNOT book blue Palms resort as an Hotel ONLY through their website. It is advertised as funclusive per their website. During the Black Friday sale I booked through this winter sale for two nights and instead of 720 it was like $401. It was a great deal. It said there were date exclusions but the dates we were going are not included on exclusion list. There were no other details or stipulations or exclusions listed. And because I couldn’t get someone on the phone when I called or an answer via email I went ahead and booked but I also took videos and pictures of me trying to find any other stipulations. I have now been contacted three times by Moneys pier / blue palms saying it was a mistake and they did not catch it because they were on Thanksgiving holidays. They also accused me of misunderstanding it included rides and slides. I replied to this manager and told her it is not my fault that Moreys incorrectly labeled the sale. The entire hotel is funclusive and when you go to their site there is no option to book a hotel only. It only allows you to book funclusive. So why would the hotel advertise a special that did not include what they typically include and did not specify stipulations or exclusions for said deal. It is not my fault the promo & pricing that was advertised was incorrect and lacking details or exclusions. I expect what I booked the two nights at the blue Palms which is advertised solely as funclusive on their site . You literally can’t book a HOTEL ROOM ONLY via their website the entire place is funclusive through their site.

Can't buy an all-day wristband for rides without buying the waterpark! That's B.S.! I had a liver transplant back in 2022. I can no longer go into public waterparks since I'm now on Anti-rejection meds that lowers my immune system to accept my new liver. This place just lost my business along with others who are in the same situation or similar to me!

My daughter enjoyed the little kids rides and I appreciated being able to ride with her without charge in the bigger ones (for kids). If you want to go, week days are best as the boardwalk gets very crowded on weekends.
However, don't bother with the big wheel. We were 4 and paid 24 tickets for it ($1.50/ticket). The wheel went around twice, we had 3 minutes at the top while people disembarked/embarked on the opposite side, then we went back down and had to disembark. Too expensive for what it is ($36 total). View is beautiful but very disappointed and not worth it.

My kids love the boardwalk but to me it's not a great value for your money. Rides cost between $5-$20+ with roller coasters around $14. I'd rather just pay $30 to take them to Dorney Park and have unlimited rides all day but I get that's it's something to do after a day at the beach. This is coming up as a hotel but I'm rating it as an attraction.

The spot serves as a mini playground for children and opens up to numerous fun activities on the beach. The boardwalk offers an endless variety of shops, making it perfect for shopping enthusiasts. Visitors can also enjoy the sun and sand while engaging in arcade games or exploring other available activities suitable for all ages.
Whenever you see this sign you know that fun is around you! One of the best beaches on East Coast with white sand and miles of eventful boardwalk and free beaches! Fun activities for all the ages!

Had an absolute blast! That was mainly my boyfriend's doing, but the sign was all lit up with shamrocks for St Patrick's Day- that and the beach balls made for a great photo op! We had so much fun. The beach balls are slippery and surprisingly hard to mount but it can be done 😃😄

If you like the sun and the beach, you have to come here and stay a few days or more, I very nice and great store for shopping, to many arcades and games, great for kids, young adults and some citizens too!!

From my experience, no matter the time you go, it will be people there. We went on Friday night 7-29-22 at 11:50pm and there were significantly less people than when we went on Saturday 7-30-22 around 7:30pm. It’s definitely worth checking out and snapping family photos that will last a lifetime and it’s all FREE!

Colourful place !!!
Neatly maintained and beautiful location to take pictures.
The big sign of WILDWOODS is a very good attraction. The balls all over decorated is best idea and it adds colour to the place.
The boardwalk is so nice and pleasant.
You can also find shopping, food, drinks, events and amusement park. Check out the local services when the amusement park will be opened, it wasn’t when we went there.
Evening walk is a bliss and you can have fun and pleasant time here.

Happening center of the Wildwood. The beach entrance can be no better in design and so well enjoyed by the kids. This looks like a mini playground for the kids. This is a great entry to a lot more activities that are available in the beach. Board walk is great with shops infinitely spanning across both sides.

Nice beach, with well hidden outside public shower to rinse (half out of order and the other half difficult to operate). Parking fee was very reasonable during weekdays, but double on weekend. The nearby boardwalk has something for everyone who is young or young at heart. The vendors ought to consider kicking in money to make the boardwalk tram free to hop off and back on -- when we rode it, we passed MANY businesses that would have gotten our money if we would not have had to pay again to reboard the team.

LOVED IT!!! Paid parking right on either side of the sign. PRICING between $7-$10 depending on the time of day you go, it seemed.

Great area and attraction! Well maintained and beautiful surroundings. Large area for parking. Lots to do and see. Huge beach and boardwalk. No cost entry. No wait. Plenty around to eat. Can be a very busy area. Walk, jog, run, bike, golf cart, and trolly to get around. Wear well fitting and comfortable shoes.

Went here for the New Jersey Jeep Invasion and had a good time. We enjoyed the boardwalk. We couldn't find showers anywhere to rince off after getting out of the ocean so I wish they had that but other than that it's a huge beach with plenty of shops.

The Wildwoods Beach Ball Sign in New Jersey is an absolute delight, seamlessly blending fun and beauty. This colossal beach ball emblem stands as a vibrant icon, adding a unique charm to the coastal city. The striking combination of white, red, and blue hues makes the oversized beach ball not only eye-catching but also a vivid representation of the lively spirit of Wildwoods.
Especially under the brilliant sunshine, it becomes a radiant focal point against the backdrop of the clear blue sky and fluffy clouds. It's a picturesque symbol that encapsulates the carefree essence of this beachside destination.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the Beach Ball Sign has become a popular spot for tourists and locals alike, serving as a gathering point and a favorite backdrop for photographs. It perfectly embodies the joyous and relaxed atmosphere that defines Wildwoods.
In summary, the Wildwoods Beach Ball Sign is a testament to both playfulness and beauty, seamlessly integrated into the essence of this coastal paradise, making it an indispensable and uplifting feature of the Wildwoods experience.

Family oriented beach & broad walk. I love all the places that sell the graphic tees & the funnel cakes. And today was the first time I tried deep fried Oreos & I think that’s my new sweet treat. The rides & the lights when it gets dark makes it all more fun. But all in all this is the number 1 option to go for a family fun day or weekend.

Cape May is a charming, historic beach town in New Jersey with some of the best beaches in the world. The city beaches are divided into 16 different beaches and all are named for the nearest intersecting street. There are lifeguards on duty from 10am to 5:30pm during the summertime and they provide plenty of activities for visitors.
Awesome place. Great sunset and sunrise. Beach is very clean.

Cape May Beach in New Jersey is a gem on the East Coast. The beach itself is pristine, offering a perfect spot for relaxation. The array of delightful food joints enhances the overall experience, ensuring a satisfying culinary journey. What sets this beach apart is the added charm of walking around the town, immersing yourself in its unique atmosphere. If you happen to visit in July, the breathtaking sight of dolphins showcasing their hunting and teaching techniques, especially with their calves, adds an enchanting and unforgettable element to your beachside moments. Cape May Beach truly captures the essence of a perfect coastal getaway.

Typical of Eastern Coastal Beaches, Cape May features cooler water and sloped shorelines. This part of Jersey is beautiful, and the town has a Victorian charm and flair that make it an unbelievable walking town filled with great little eateries. Parking can be a bit tough, so get there early

See previous posts regarding the Atlantic Ocean and the ocean at cape May for further clarity.
I’d ask google for greater clarity regarding the distinction of these places.
But regardless of that- the ocean is beautiful and a great place to watch the sunrise.

Very beautiful place! Not so loud like in other beaches, not so windy . The sand is clear and an area got a lot of space as for peoples as for car parking. Along the road there are many hotels and various shops and cafes. Sometimes you can see dolphins in the ocean even from the beach.

The Cape May Lighthouse is a renowned historical structure located in New Jersey. It boasts picturesque views from its vantage point and also features an oil house-turned-museum with a gift shop. As one of the top 50 attractions, it draws many visitors each year to Cape May Point State Park. With its impressive collection of lighthouses, the Cape May Lighthouse undeniably stands out as a must-visit landmark for anyone interested in history and architecture.
I was surprised at how pretty the grounds were as well as the natural area surrounding the lighthouse. It's pretty tall, so expect a climb. It's worth taking an hour or so to cruise the grounds and see the water birds in the local ponds. The swans are beautiful. Ample parking and relatively level, so it's a pretty easy stroll

The view is definitely worth the 199 stair climb. Don't worry there are landings every 30 steps or so. I purchased my lighthouse passport book in the museum and got my first stamp today! The nature trails are easily accessible to wheelchairs, strollers and pedestrians. Today was a great day to see migrating birds and so many bird watchers were there with their cameras and bird watching equipment. As a motorcycle passenger and rider, my husband and I are making our way around the state visiting the light houses of NJ. This was our 3rd one this year and was definitely worth the two hour scenic ride.

Loved walking up to the lookout tower in the light house! Pro tip: it is 199 steps. Children are welcome. Great views from the top! Great walks to the pond, in the marsh or pineland area or trails to the beach. Ample parking. Will return often and you should too!

While on a weekend spent at the shore with family, we enjoyed a beautiful day that included visiting the Cape May NJ Lighthouse. The lighthouse is beautiful. Most of my family hiked the stairs up through the lighthouse, but I chose to sit on an outside bench and watch the scenery. I have a spinal fusion, otherwise I would have climbed the stairs--around 200 of them!
Ted Hoffman — Google review
We did a 3 day excursion around Cape May
and missed the lighthouse at our last visit due to inclement weather. The 199 step illuminated spiral staircase ascent didn’t feel like a lot because of the landing areas filled with historical photos. Loved the fresh air at the top and the 360 degree view which gave a new perspective of where everything was. We didn’t explore some of the trails because they eventually intersected with the beach and we didn’t have the appropriate footwear. They have a gift shop, local museum and a friendly Visitor center where we chatted about the lantern flies detected up there a few years ago. I try to kill as many as possible and educated some visitors to do the same.
There’s ample parking and well kept grounds, I’ve even noticed some people picnicking while enjoying the scenery.

Great conversation with lighthouse keeper. About 10+ minutes to climb up the stairs. Well kept territory with public restrooms and a little free and highly informative nature museum. Kids will like it. Good way to the ocean but we skipped it due to high winds.

Standing majestically against the backdrop of the endless Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean, the lighthouse offers a mesmerizing experience. Its towering presence is not just a beacon for sailors but also a symbol of resilience and guidance. Climbing to the top with 199 steps rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views, making it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable experience

Cape May is a nice place to visit anytime of the year. Myself, I tend to enjoy to go now. Springtime. The crowds are smaller and so are the sweat beads. And, most importantly, the birds are so so so plentiful. From the arriving, amazing Ospreys to the beautiful, exotic, departing Snowy Owl. If you are a photographer, this is the time to be here. 😊
Bill Franklin — Google review
Visit time and again, and you can always enjoy something new. There is more to see than the lighthouse. Today we walked out to the nature observation decks and hiked a trail that ran along the dunes and returned with a stroll down the beach back toward the lighthouse (all we trekked was pet friendly). There are other nature walks that go deeper into the protected lands where bird watching is amazing (but this hike does not welcome pets). There is a small lighthouse museum, picnic facilities, and of course, the beautiful lighthouse, all nestled in Cape May Point, a lovely place to drive through a see in the southern-most point of NJ. This would be a great bike ride, or drive there and then hike the area. It is also a great visit any time of year - we arrived in January and enjoyed the slower crowds on a sunny day in the low 50s.

We stopped in on a Saturday in mid-February and really enjoyed climbing to the top. There are 199 steps but little books going up so you can stop and take a look out of the windows and maybe catch your breath if you need to. The stairs are wide but you might have to pause in a nook if people are coming down as you are going up and vice versa. Once at the top, you can walk around the platform. Be forewarned it could be windy up there and it was the day we went. As soon as you step out of the door there is a sign that says “No Shouting” which was probably a good idea because I immediately hollered because the wind was so strong. No need to worry tho, you are caged in and can’t fall off. Hold onto your hat tho. There was an admission fee but it was well worth it. The volunteers were nice. There was plenty of parking. I see in their website they do special events - stairway to the stars at night probably would be very cool.

A beautiful classic lighthouse on the beach. A must stop location when visiting Cape May. Be prepared to make the walk to the top its a little bit of a trek but week worth it for the breathtaking views of the area. Cape May Lighthouse When visiting this lighthouse, you have to climb 200 steps to reach the top where, as expected, you can see the entire beach and a good part of the city. It is open to the public for visitation. It was built in 1859

This was a fun lighthouse. 199 steps up. Great views from the top. There are trails to the beach and other areas. Visitor center, museum, and a gift shop. Could spend a couple hours here. Great quiet beach to chill for the day 🏖️. Many paths to walk and bird watch. Off season is the best time to go and picnic on the beach. Not the soft sand that you'd find elsewhere on the Jersey shore. Nonetheless it's a nice beach. Free ample parking and public restrooms.

Cape May is the southern tip of New Jersey. This is also the southern most beach on the Jersey Shore. On the eastern shore of the Cape is the Atlantic Ocean and on the western shore is the mouth of the Delaware River. Weather systems and currents mix off the point. Miles of beaches, a large boardwalk biking, walking, fishing and plenty of restaurants make for a great vacation spot. We came in February to avoid the crowds and see the beach and a dramatic sky. Ice clouds and a bright sun preceded a snowstorm. This made for great photo opportunities. We scurried home on the Parkway before the storm. Snow plows were staging all along the Garden State Parkway that night.

We went on a Sunday and just missed the actual walk up, as it closed at 3 pm. But it's a lovely lighthouse and strolling around the grounds was nice, still made for nice photo ops too.
Pub in a historic, converted barn serving beer brewed on the premises & casual fare.
Great brewery stop in Delaware. No less than 16 beers on tap. Bartenders are friendly and helpful. They do have a non-beer seltzer option but no full bar. Food is very limited- popcorn. There was no food truck there on the day we went.
I did an 8 beer flight, lots of delicious options. My favorite is the Seed Free and Joy watermelon ale. I can drink that all day- great beer for the beach.
Highly recommend a stop here!

Decent beer, nothing outstanding. Not sure it's worth a half-hour detour from Rt 1 that I took. Was a bit pissed that the description said "casual faire"when there's nothing but free popcorn to eat. Apparently the food trucks here only work Friday and Saturday nights."Great beer"? Maybe if you haven't been to many breweries. Sorry, not really worth the stop.

It's a fun place with a great atmosphere. The Georgetown Farmers market is there on Wednesday's which makes it fun to get a beer & walk around. I only rated them a 4 based on their beer. I'm a bit of an IPA snob & they only offer one I like, Baby's Lunch which is a DIPA.

16 Mile Brewery, a large farmhouse brewery with a fairly small tasting room has a good selection of beer. The outdoor space isn’t utilized very well as there’s nowhere to sit on such a nice day, but the inside allows dogs, so we all head inside. The beer list has a fairly large number of choices for a small place including some funky twists like a watermelon beer. The more standard brews like a belgian ale are delicious too, and we even find some of their amber ale at a gas station later, giving us options for our Netflix marathon libations.
The Willow Creek Winery provides a picturesque backdrop for weddings with gardens and vineyards, as well as a restaurant. This winery has tours and wine tastings that are sure to please guests of all ages.
Outstanding winery with amazing spaces! All the wines were excellent (we drank as much as we could!) and the food we sampled was very tasty. The winery is situated on beautiful grounds with several spots to sit and enjoy a glass. We did not eat in the restaurant but the menu looked very appealing and the dining area looks great. If you are in Cape May, definitely make time to visit.

Went on a Sunday at 12:30 in May. Wasn't too crowded. Free on premise parking. Indoor or outdoor seating available. Outdoor is in the sun, nothing to shade you, suggest sunblock. Service was very slow. Waitress was very kind, but we had several issues. One was the slowness. There were 3 of us, each got a flight of wine, one of them was incorrect. It took so long for her to come around again she ended up drinking them anyway. I had the sangria flight. I preferred the white sangria over the red--the mixed sangria was da bomb. It had a pineapple undertone and was on the fruity sweet side. The pretzel appetizer is AMAZING. the pretzel is crispy (not hard) on the outside and soft on the inside, so doughy delicious. The fish sandwich was probably the favorite of the day. Nice sized fish, crispy outside and moist fish inside. Mango pulled pork sandwich was basic but good. Fries were ok. They forgot one of our dishes, so I shared mine with a friend----couldn't get help or find our waitress so we gave up and split my plate. When we asked someone for help, he asked us what our waitress looked like and what her name was so he could find her. Baffling. Paying was an issue, they only accept one credit card, so there's no splitting a check with credit cards. Used the outdoor bar to get a dole whip, which the red wine dole whip was my favorite...a MUST try!! They were running low when we were there, I suggest getting it asap when you get there, not sure why there was a shortage. Its basically wine with soft serve pineapple ice cream in it. Winery was closing early for an event--check ahead of time. It would be a great location for a special event like a wedding. Really nice grounds.

Service was fabulous! Tom was great! We received water, plates, silverware, etc. almost immediately after being seated. My boyfriend and I visited the winery with my parents and our neighbors for the first time. The grounds and winery were absolutely beautiful! We’ve been to many wineries in NJ and I would say the only two things I was disappointed with (compared to others) were 1) the charcuterie board was a little light and didn’t have honey, jelly or anything sweet to go with the savory cheeses and meats and 2) we ordered 2 cheesecake platters for dessert which was supposed to be $16 for 4 SLICES of assorted cheesecakes and they were platters with mini cheesecakes/pastries and we were charged $40 instead of $32 (which was the price we were told). Our waiter seemed to be surprised at the fact that they weren’t actual slices of cheesecake as the table next to us had actual slices of cheesecake. I was OK with the “one bill per table” since we were treating, however if I was with a group of girlfriends, etc., I would have preferred separate bills. Other than that, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back when the weather is warmer and can sit outside and enjoy the fire pits and beautiful scenery. I loved the sweet white wine - the guys all loved the dry reds - flights and several glasses! Thanks for a great day!

Wonderful scenery of the grapes growing. The grounds are up-kept and very photogenic. Staff are friendly. The wine selection is good and the wines are as advertised. I would say that not having a desert option is kind of strange for a place that serves food.

Today my fiancée and I dined here for the first time, and we had such a great experience! Our waitress, Bianca, was absolutely fantastic and so sweet! We come every few weeks from PA to stay at our camper in Estelle Manor, and wanted to give something new a try. Bianca suggested some good places for us to check out while we’re here, as well— she was just awesome! The location is beautiful, the atmosphere of the restaurant and restaurant staff is phenomenal. The food is FANTASTIC! The wine was perfect. I had the very best time here and would definitely recommend to anyone to check this place out!

We saw the dole whip sangria on Facebook and knew we had to make a trip across the ferry to check out this winery. It is beautiful, with the heart of the winery surrounded by the vineyard and gorgeous gardens. The wine and food were delicious. Between our group, we tried 4 different wine flights. Everyone has a different taste, but I enjoyed the dry reds. The cranberry merlot was another favorite. I had a crabcake sandwich that was good, nothing spectacular. This winery is very expensive, but it was a nice trip with friends. I would return again.

We weren't expecting great wine from a flat field in NJ, but it was even worse than we could have imagined. Even Manischewitz is a fine vintage compared to these ultra-sweet, simplistic, vinification disasters. But the scenery is gorgeous, and the people are nice, but there are lots of flies. I also was both disgusted and impressed by their creation, the sangria dole-whip "beverage" that seems to be one of their best sellers. May you continue to lead and inspire winemakers worldwide long into the future!

One of our favorite lunch spots on our annual family Wildwood vacation. The grounds are gorgeous, the winery itself is enormous and inviting and they have plenty of outdoor seating as well. The menu has enough to satisfy any palate. Their wines are a mixed bag, the higher value wines are very good, and my wife and mother usually love the sangrias. My wife usually comes here to sample the Blackberry Merlot because when it's right it is her favorite drink. Sadly it's "hit or miss " I guess depending on the year. I'm usually a red wine guy, but I find the whites better here.

My bf and I planned a trip to Cape May last year for our anniversary and one of the places on our list to try was Willow Creek Winery. We visited right around sunset which was beautiful!
There is indoor and outdoor space so you can kick back, relax and enjoy your wine. There is a gift shop when you first walk in and seating. Outside there was more seating and a live band. Shortly after being seated, we were greeted by our waitress. We started off with a wine flight, a glass of sangria and a glass of their Dole whip sangria float which is seasonal so ask your server for the flavor of the day! At the time of visit, the flavor was passion fruit. The wine flight came out on a tree; I loved the presentation.
We also ordered some small bites. For starters, the asiago bruschetta which was okay. The French baguette was extremely hard to bite into but after it sat with all the juices from the tomatoes, olive oil, herbs, etc. it softened up a bit. I thought it was quite tasty. For our entrees we ordered the smash burger and fish sandwich. The fries were crispy, we just didn't like our food which is okay. I think next time we'll just stick to wine and starters.
Once we finished up, we browsed the gift shop and headed back to the Airbnb. I will be back next time I visit!

I’ve been here quite a few times, we had had exceptional service every time. It can be costly, but again you are paying for quality. The appetizers taste freshly made and they have a great wine selection to accommodate all. Not to mention, they make themselves stand out by adding dole whip with wine. Our server Julie was very attentive to us. Our orders were brought to us in a timely manner, it was a fantastic time. We will be back for our next visit.

Finally made it to Willow Creek and it was fantastic! Not really sure why the rating is anything below 4 stars. Beautifully kept vineyard, large, spacious buildings with plenty of outdoor seating and of course, delicious wine! Definitely recommend making a reservation in advance, but they take walk-ins as well, just can get crowded fast. Food menu is extensive for a winery and quality is high, definitely stop in if you're anywhere near Cape May!

I have been to this winery three times. It wasn’t until the third time that I realized they were ripping me off. When you get the bill it has a 4% charge added to the bill. It is to cover credit card charges if you pay by credit. This is legal, however I pay cash. The first two times I was there the waitress never took off the 4% charge. The third time I was looking to see how much the sales tax was and saw the extra fee. I questioned her and she told me it is to encourage cash payment. I said okay so you are going to take it off because I’m paying cash? She just looked at me like she didn’t know what to do. I again said I’m paying cash and then she said she would take it off which she did. That is when I realized that the previous two times when I didn’t question the charge it was not removed. I called and questioned the manager. He said it was in the register and they could not get it to not include the fee. He tried to get around the fact that the fee should only be added if the customer is paying by credit card. It is illegal to charge a cash paying customer this fee. I can only imagine how much extra money this business has skimmed off of cash paying customers. I am going to contact the state and inform them of this practice. The governor has passed law that restricts the amount of a fee for credit card use. It has to be the exact amount that the business is being charged and they can not charge cash customers. They have to have sufficient signage in the building so that people are aware of the fee. BEWARE IF YOU GO HERE AND PAY CASH.

So I always like to start off specially will not leave a great review again this is my opinion and my experience, and even my families opinion experience based upon how things were so the reason for a two star review we found the wines there, especially the sangria‘s were absolutely disgusting and horrible Some of the other ones are pretty good and the others were absolutely disgusting in our opinion. What we did find really nice about the place. It was a beautiful winery the building where you go in for the tasting, was absolutely stunning. Without a doubt the staff and our waitress was absolutely phenomenal in every way the food that they offer was outstanding, hands-down, outstanding, but you don’t go to a winery for a tasting based upon the food you go based upon the wine and that’s the reason why I’m leaving a two star review and not a five stars because we felt the wine was absolutely horrible. Everything else was absolutely amazing. I would encourage people to try the winery for yourself again Everybody has a different taste, and opinion.

Beautiful aesthetics & super friendly staff. It was a very hot day and we got some icy drinks that went down so smooth I felt like I could’ve had 3! We didn’t have any food but enjoyed the beautiful scenery and live music. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I had the most amazing day at Willow Creek winery! The grounds, estate wine and charcuterie was incredible but the staff made it VERY special for our anniversary. Erin and Patricia were so sweet and accommodating and gave us service you truly don’t get everywhere! We can’t wait to get back to Willow Creek ❤️

This is a lovely place. We stopped for a wine flight and a charcuterie board. The wines were decent and the board selections very nice. The service was excellent.

This was a good experience with a good atmosphere. We got wine from sweet to butter but I did not like the bitter wine. The bitter wine made me throw up afterwards and I wanted to jump off a plane without a parachute. The middle one I did not like either and after spending so much time coming here it made me very sad and i thought about running into traffic. However the sweet wine was quite good as it made me not want to kill myself I finally enjoyed something in my life for once which is why I rated it so high so thank u for making this winery exist u guys saved my life. Goodbye and have a merry thanksgiving
Sizable brewery & brewpub offering hearty food, an ample selection of beers on tap & tours.
First time here, fantastic tour and very nice staff. Beer was absolutely divine. If I’m ever back in this area I am coming back 100%

I have been waiting to visit for years. Finally got the chance to go in Aug 2022. Did the off centered brewery tour. They take you through the entire brewery and give you plenty of samples. You pay $20 and some change but you definitely make your money back in beer samples. Great tour. My only criticism was the tour email messaging. They tell you to arrive at 1130 but the doors don't open till 12 so you sit out in the patio waiting for nothing. Need to fix their automated emails.

This brewery is excellent! From the delicious beer, to the incredible food, to the tour, Dogfish Head Brewery is a must visit. We got a flight to start, and all the beers we tried were delightful. The Namaste was especially good. Next, we went on a tour, and it was a great time and a good value! We got to see the brewery and received a sample - the whole thing took about half an hour. After that, we got some food, and it was delicious. The pretzel was SO GOOD that we got another one. I highly recommend going here!

Great brewery and distillery. Had the distillery tour here. Very informative, and the tour guide was very patient with us answering all our questions. Enjoyed the tour, the tasting pours, the exclusive spirits you get only on such tours, etc. Would love to be able to buy them off a shelf, too.
Food is limited here - after having the best drinks ever, I would have preferred some interesting bites, too.
Due to the timing, I was able to listen to some nice live music which was nice.
From what I learned, I will be visiting their and their sister breweries' other locations for their exclusive pours.

Phenomenal service! Great ambiance! (Check out the pictures on the ceiling!) I have to shout out Carmen for being the best tour guide of the brewery, a great bartender, and telling great jokes for my brother’s bachelor party weekend! You made his day! Carmen is Marc Maron’s long lost twin. He made everyone have such a great time and we loved his reminders to stay hydrated with water (very important!). He is a workhorse and needs a raise!

Great place to visit. There is a free tour you can sign up for. The tour guide is very professional and kind (1pm Dec 18th 2022). After the tour, each person gets a free flight of 4 samples. Bought a bottle of “melodious” gin and a orange-mango vodka. I’m Surprised that there is 0 tax on alcohols in DE. Overall a very good place to spend your afternoon at!

Craft Beer! Delicious! Great service and a wonderful atmosphere that is dog friendly and family friendly. Outdoor and indoor seating. The soft pretzel with beer cheese is delicious! I have tried and enjoyed several different beers and their selection varies week to week.

Great brewery. Loved the atmosphere. Staff is super friendly, I loved that they try to recommend the best drinking order for your flights. You absolutely have to check out the R&D beers on tap, lots of cool new interesting brews that you can’t get anywhere else!
Definitely recommend the “Off-Centered Tour.” $20 gets you 4 samples throughout the tour + a sample glass + a flight afterwards. The tour itself is well done, very informative of not only the brewing process at Dogfish Head but also its history— which was super interesting! My only small critique is that the tour felt very scripted. We’ve been on other big name brewery tours that were a bit more interactive/personal than this one.

What a great place to drink some super fresh beer! If you can find it. Decent food options too, like; pizza, wursts, etc. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Weird metal treehouse structure looming over it all. They have a really good selection of experimental beers. With wacky flavors. Great dogfishhead gift shop too. For anyone that wants a T-shirt or hockey jersey with their cool logo in it.

What an incredible space! It's like it's own town really. This place is massive, it's truly something to see. We came on a Friday, around noon-ish. It was pretty well packed with people. The tasting room is pretty big with lots of tables. There are lots of tables and games outside too but it was rainy the day we went. The beer choices are out of this world. For someone like me in NY, there were options I have never seen and sadly will not see again unless we come back to visit. They also have a distillery around the corner of the brewery building (but if you're in the brewery you can still do tastings/drinks). They offer flights of beer or spirits - they also offer actual cocktails with their spirits. Really impressive. There was not one thing we tried that we did not like. They are VERY dog friendly which is so nice. They instantly offered us water for the dogs and most employees came over to greet the dogs. There is a food stand on the outside of the brewery with pizza options, sandwiches, chips & salsa, pretzels, etc. There is also a pretty large retail store inside which we definitely spent some time in. Beer to go, spirits to go, homemade dog treats & other dog accessories, clothing, etc. We spent quite a bit of time here and really enjoyed ourselves. Would recommend to anyone going to this area & we will definitely be back again!

OUTSTANDING! What a great atmosphere. It has a very friendly vibe. The employees, the patrons and the Dogs make you feel like you are family and want to spend time with you. Yes it is dog friendly with inside and outside tables. If you have never been there before then start with a beer tasting. They have flights of four beers. There are usually a listing of over 20 varieties. Once you find one that you like, which is harder than it sounds, order a glass. Then head over to the food window to order Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese sauce or crab soups which is amazing. They have a lot of other offerings on the menu including Pizza or Subs of the day, etc. All of the food is great. Before you leave be sure to leave time for the brewery tour. Then don't forget to take home cans of beer and/or spirits from the gift shop. Better yet bring your own Growler and fill it with one of the specialty beers, like the Utopia Barrel 120 minute IPA, (17% abv). Overall you will have a great time there amd will want to keep going back.

What an amazing visit! We did the Crooked Tour that was a little over an hour. So worth it for only $20! You got to try 4 different drinks on the tour and then ended with a flight card to use at the bar. All the employees are so nice. It is such a great vibe to be in. Highly recommend not only visiting but getting a tour! The food was delicious too! Loved their pizzas and the Bavarian pretzel.

Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton is an absolute must visit, whether you’re new to DE or you live here, it’s one of the cooler places in Delaware and truly defines the craft beer scene. Dogfish with the combination of Boston Brewing is the largest Independent craft brewer as well.
We came on a rainy Sunday afternoon to grab a few brews and try their spirits.
Everything we tried was delicious. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, guided us through the selection and were attentive and made we sure we never had an empty glass.
The beer selection is obviously the focus but they’ve put a lot of time into developing a great spirit selection as well. Using local ingredients and partnering with other local small businesses which I think speaks volumes about what Sam and Mariah have created with their team. No matter how big Dogfish has become they’ve stayed true to staying local and supporting local.
The parking is very big so plenty of room. They also have several different tours starting at $5 for the basic tour lasting about 25 min to the longer more immersive tour that lasts about an hour. They also have a distillery tour if you want to see how the spirits are made.
The tour will also take you into their Steampunk Tree House which is super cool and has an awesome history.
There’s also a huge gift shop that offers all kinds of apparel, swag and merch.
If you’re feeling hungry they have a small menu that has rotating soup, charcuterie board, pulled pork, pizza and a Bavarian pretzel among other snack options.
Great experience rain or shine.

This is our must-do place when we are on our round trip to DE!!😍 Beside the great selection of quality beers, the tours are also a must-do if you visit for the first time. Go to their website to check on the time and availability for the tour so you’re not missing anything!
We are always looking forward to try the exclusive beers on tap that you can only get them at this location! The crew members are always so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable!
We highly recommended getting the beer crowlers, as they really know how to fill and seal them well! Our crowlers still taste great after a couple weeks, which did not happen for some crowlers we got from other microbrews.
The indoor dining area has plenty of tables but it will also get packed sometimes. Outdoor area is super cozy (when the weather is nice)!
Looking forward to our next visit already!

The tasting room and kitchen at Dogfish Head Brewery is amazing. The weather was nice so we were able to enjoy our beers and food in the outdoor seating area. I had a couple of different hazy style beers and my girlfriend had a Japanese style rice beer. We shared a pizza of the day (bacon jalapenos and cream cheese) some chips and salsa and a soup of the day (beef stew). All the food was excellent, restaurant quality. The prices on everything were very reasonable. We had all that food and 4 beers for $50. My only regret is that we didn't have time to do the brewery tour, we'll have to hit that next time.

Always clean, people are always sanitizing the machines, but some of the bartenders, as friendly as they may be, put way too much alcohol in the drunks. Me and my friend had to be picked up after only a single drink! It was fun, and we were responsible about it, but someone else might not be the same....

Casino floor is usually attended to except for old discarded drinks from previous patrons that could be removed in a more timely manner. Good slot machine choices. Well lit parking lot. Variety of places to eat including my favorite Bonz and players club rewards give comp money toward eateries. Always made reservations online in advance. Onion Jacks is nice too. Variety of food but usually very busy and involves a waiting list.

I did not see any restaurants open. Just a bar as you enter.
It was early, so they definitely should have been open. I was waiting for someone and grabbed drinks at the paid bar.
An entertainment coordinator can have this place live, plus some local advertising.
The person who was gambling never got any free drinks, as no one passed by to order from. Please do better with the free drinks for paying customers. Perhaps install order options at each game, the same as they do in AC.
Beautiful fountains inside and outside.

I always enjoy myself when I go there whether I come out ahead or not. I just wanted to let someone know you need to correct your hours of operation on here and your site. It says your hours on Sunday are 8AM-4AM when technically you are open 24 hours on Sunday (12:00AM-11:59PM), and you close at 4AM on Monday morning and reopen at 8AM. This is coming from someone who works nights. If you check this site after 12AM on Sunday morning, it says you are closed and open at 8AM. You all could be missing out on potential customers, and I'm sure you don't want that. Lol.

We have visited the casino plenty of times over the last 24 years and they have changed with the times. This casino use to be fun to visit. 20 years ago they offered entertainment that made your visit a full package experience. Dinner, dancing, different specials that brought you out during the week and, of course, the casino. Fast forward 20ish years later, I find that I only go because my husband wants to play. They are only about making money, which is understandable, they are a business. They way the casino is today I don't ever have to go back.

The Casino has some pretty amazing restaurants and live entertainment! The staff members are always polite and respectful, the bathroom facilities are kept very clean. The parking is acceptable and there is ample handicap parking.
Now as far as the slot machines to me it's difficult to win money, as I always say they have the machines turned down. I have seen a few people win 💰 but not me as identified by my rating of a 2.

A very nice place and rare bit of glitz in Southern Delaware.
Restrooms were spotless. Staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. Cordial comes to mind.
Slots are solid considering they'll let you play just about whatever amount you want. We walked away a few bucks ahead, so complaining is off the table.
All in all, it was a super nice getaway for a day.
We'll be back.
Forest, field & marshland with campsites, boating, hiking trails, a playground & nature center.
This was a happy gem to find. The bathrooms are very clean! For those coming in RVs there are plenty of spigots for water. Do make sure you check the flow of the one you pick as some of them would take forever to fill your rig. There is no sewer hookups and as of September 2023 there is no sewer dump and you will need to go to over to the next state park to dump.

Stayed a week in a cabin. Rangers kind in helping to get A/C unit to work - no buttons just touch the unit for it to work. Cabins are compact, safe and dry. If only the plastic covered mattresses were thick enough to actually sleep on. I didn't sleep a solid night there. This year I'm bringing a fold up mattress to put on top. Otherwise great vacation. Wood is easy to buy and recycling is easy to drop off.

I wanted to hike the Point Trail along the river starting at the boat launch, but it is under construction and was closed. So disappointed. I took the trail on the right by the circular road when facing the river, and lucky for me, that trail is along the river and there are spaces between trees where I can kind of see the river. It is second best to the Point Trail. We walked about 1/2 mile and turned around. There are picnic benches, BBQ grills, playgrounds and restrooms along the trail. It's great if you have kids. This park is actually pretty small comparing the other State Parks in the East Coast. This park is also dogfriendly. We did encountered a sheltie that was off leash. I have a fiesty chihuahua mix who doesn't like other dogs, until she has time to get to know them. Usually in about 5 mins. Anyway, as my little one was getting all feisty, the off leash sheltie got in her face and they started a fight. Luckily the sheltie did back off, and the owner commented that she's usually like that with larger dogs. Well, if your dog is not 100% friendly toward people and other dogs, I recommend keeping your dog on leash. There is no reason to take the change and risking the dogs getting hurt. Please keep your "less than 100% friendly" dog on leash.

We have loved our stay at Martinak. This was our kid's first tent camping trip and it was a huge success. Loop B was excellent, with its electric hookup. Great for kids to bike around over and over again. The bathrooms were cleaned twice a day, well placed in the middle of the loop, and the showers were HOT. Campsites are sandy gravel and large enough for two tents (or an RV or camper). Our 8 person tent fit perfectly, with room, on site 16. We loved site 16, as it backed up to a fully wooded area. Picnic tables and fire ring/grate provided. Wood is purchased at the entrance on honor system $5 a bundle. There are swings in loop B and a larger playground outside of the loop towards the river (dumster is toward the playground). Foot paths for nature hikes, along with a dock for fishing. Definitely a nice, quiet state park/campground.
Also a great place for kayaking. There are also cabins to rent.

Absolutely loved this place. My girlfriend is 20 year retired Air Force herself. So it was cool to go see it with her. Then she was ab to take me on the actual base also. That was awesome to. They have guides that tell you about all the stuff there and they are very knowledgeable. They even have the old flight tower you can go up and hear the chatter from the planes coming and going.

This museum rivals any other aircraft museum in the world. Having visited the Smithsonian Udvar Hazy center earlier this year, that should help understand the gravity of my statement.
The quantity of aircraft not only on display, but also able to enter and explore is astounding. Some of these aircraft can’t be found anywhere else in the world.
The real show stopper is the C-47 that dropped the 101st Airborne on D-Day and Market Garden. Again, not only on display but also available to enter and check out with your own hands. Astounding. The aircraft is complete with battle damage from D-Day as confirmed by the former crew chief when he visited years ago.
I have never felt history like this place. Having just recently watched Band of Brothers also made this exhibit hit hard.
I also have to brag on the staff. The museum was hosting two special events the day we visited which had the small crew of volunteers spread thin. The museum operations manager (Michael) saw that my family wasn’t able to see some areas because of the events and offered to personally take us into the control tower and the C-47…and he did it with a smile.
Being located within an active Air Force base is a huge plus. The chance to see active aircraft flying is very high. We were lucky enough to see a C-17 doing touch and goes right next to the parking lot.
Lastly, the gift shop. They could do like other places and gouge visitors, but they don’t. Everything is very reasonable. Even the snacks/drinks.
Make the drive from DC or Philly to see this museum. You won’t regret it.

Lots of planes here some rare ones that you don't find in other museums. I suppose it's because they are predominantly cargo planes as that's what's mostly been based at dover. They have some ww2 aircraft inside that are nicely setup. They also have the only C5 available to tour.

Highly recommend! This museum is free-of-charge, but is large, well- maintained, and is staffed by retired veteran's. They were knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to board several of the air-crafts. For reference, we are a family of 4 with two teen boys, but saw some littles enjoying themselves, as well. Our boys loved the flight simulator. We have paid to visit far less interesting places and were happy to give a donation.

This is a wonderful experience for children and adults as well who love planes. We visited this FREE museum at the Dover AFB on August 13, 2023 where you will find full size Military Aircrafts including the Air Force One Plane and so many others. Wonderful Veterans give you a full tour in detail. We were able to go inside of many if the planes at the museum but visit early in the summer as it gets hot fast inside. They even have a control tower you can climb and view. The gift shop had some neat artifacts for purchase as well. Highly, highly reccommended.

This Museum is incredible!!! It is a must see. For people going to the southern Jersey shore make sure you stop by.
This large, state-of-the-art track hosts NASCAR car races & features a giant monster sculpture.
Had a great time at the Xfinity Series. It was our first time there and it was very relaxed. Parking was ample. If you need assistance getting around then I suggest a golf cart, bike, scooter, or something to assist you. A lot of people had them. The walk from the parking lot was about 20 minutes one way to our seats. Very pleasant and flat. The entire place was easy to access and leave. The food stands and restrooms were plenty. They were kept pretty clean as well with the stand alone having attendants. Food was traditional stand food and very quick.

We stayed at Bally's and this was the view from our room. Service was great and the room was clean. prime Steakhouse was delicious, however, the Sugar Factory was disappointing.

Overall the speedway is awesome! Plenty to do, see, eat before the race. The track itself is small so you can see the whole race. I was very excited yesterday as it was my first time. Unfortunately the race was cancelled due to rain. My complaint is that staff was very rude to us when people were trying to eat/stay dry while it was raining. They yelled for everyone to leave. Another man threatened to have a cop remove us. So we walked the mile back to our car in pouring rain. There’s only one exit as well so we sat for a few hours in the lot trying to leave.

We enjoyed making the memories, but the entry lines were horrendous. Why would there only be 4 entrance gates open? The lines were literally wrapped around the raceway into the line for the next gate! So, literally one mile long???? We got there an hour before the race started and didn't get to our seats until well into the race.

Haven’t been to Dover in 15 years easy in and out. Restrooms were clean good views from most seats being a 1 mile track. The race was rained out hasn’t been rained out since 2007. Well you guessed it the race was rained out after 78 laps. Didn’t feel like staying over can’t blame the track. Just disappointed. I’ll probably go back some day maybe 🤔

Went on a Saturday, no traffic whatsoever, which was great. Plenty to do in rain delays and I really like that they had free bumper cars and other items for my son. Prices are high. 60 bucks for a Saturday general admission is ridiculous, and we paid 36 for a cheesesteak and two hot dogs. What? Ticket process is a bit of a mess with their devices not scanning well, NFC is available but apparently not reliable? Was told to make sure I scan out when leaving for the fanzone, which I had... meaning something hadn't worked right somewhere. Bag checkers are the grumpiest people on the property. Overall, more fun than Pocono and more to do outside the track than Richmond, but horribly expensive.

Okay, I'll give it a 3 for the gift of a complimentary room on a Saturday.... please note I am not a Karen, lol
Unfortunately, it was not a king bed as reserved. As I entered the room it smelled of cigar. Not wanting to be charged $250 for the smell I called the front desk and reported. They immediately addressed and ionized the room.
Room was very clean and spacious.
If you like a very firm mattress and very firm pillows you will love their bed set up, I prefer in the middle.
We headed downstairs to play slots and find something to eat. The Sugar restaurant has very good food. Best angus beef burger ever!
The big down side was the restaurant was lit up like a stadium with lights and extremely loud music you experience during your entire dining experience. Wow, not sure who thought this idea was great for all ages. The young crowd loved it.
There is a steakhouse available for dining, but be prepared to spend $$$$.
Back to the room...
Unfortunately the room next door set their alarm clock for 6 o'clock am and the alarm proceeded to beep for the next two hours.
Finally after calling room check they came up and turned it off.
As far as the slots, I never heard one person yell "whoop ". My husband was lucky. I had fun and contributed to the employee fund, lol.

We were driving through Dover so I had to take a quick detour for a picture of Miles. You can get to him even when the speedway is closed. Hopefully next time I come here will be for a race.

1st time coming to Dover and it's the 3rd track that I've been to and have to admit, it was a really great time. Easy getting in (parking) and easy getting out. The only con of this trip was that not every gate was open, so there were some pretty long lines at most of them.

The casino itself was what you would typically expect. Slots, table games. Atmosphere was nice. Facility was clean. Staff was pleasant.
This review is about the Toppers Spa.
Visited the spa with a friend and had the most terrible experience we’ve ever had while doing a spa and self care day.
We booked a morning appointment and arrived 30 mins early to check in.
We were guided to a waiting area while we waited for the nail technicians to come get us.
When we were finally greeted by the technicians, they were both very polite and pleasant throughout the entire process.
Once we got back into the spa area, my friend who is disabled had a difficult time getting into the doorway and chair because the facility is NOT handicapped accessible.
That was not the worst part. We informed the nail technicians that we had gel nail polish on our feet which required removal.
Typically a filing tool is used or foil with acetone to remove the old polish. Our technicians told us they were NOT allowed to use any special equipment or foil. What?! This meant they had to soak our feet for an entire hour!!! And MANUALLY scrape off the gel. It took forever. We ended up being there almost 2.5 hours.
That is unacceptable for a simple spa pedicure. Part of the treatment we received some time of clay and warm compress that was placed on our feet but it was messy and a bit too sticky for me.
The technicians were very nice but they did not have the tools they needed to perform the service. It’s like going to a restaurant and they have no plates or silverware. We will never go back.
Toppers was the worst pedicure experience we’ve ever had and we get pedicures at least once a month. We wanted to try something different and it was the absolute worst experience.

I want to start by saying that the staff in the hotel and casino were very kind and friendly. More concern for the rooms. We stayed in a double room for an overnight while we traveled long distances. The room was very affordable, and because of the name, we wanted to stay for cleanliness. It was clean but completely outdated. The dresser was full of scratches and peeling. The rug felt like it needed a good scrubbing and possibly removed. The mattresses would shift completely when you sat on them. Not enough pillows (understand that's a preference thing). It was the most uncomfortable bed on our journey. The pool was closed- stated until mid-June 2023. Casino was nice, and their restaurant Candy Factory had plates that were massive. Wouldn't sleep here again until the rooms had an update.

Update....
We came back the next night there were table and chairs and they had cleaned the floor. So fantastic start to taking care of concerns.
This review is in regards to Fire and Ice lounge. I live locally and would visit the lounge every weekend for live music and loved it. Covid hit. They have been closed down for 3 years. It has recently been revamped by the looks of it and reooened. They have removed the chairs. There is now a $10 cover. I don't mind the cover but when you come there and you're paying a cover you should have a seat. And the other issue is the dance floor I don't know what it's been cleaned with but it's considerably sticky and hard to dance on. Actually dancing on the carpet at our table was easier. If the floor issue isn't resolved I won't be coming back because I go there to dance.

Spent the night at the hotel... Had a nice room.. plenty of new machines, lots of table games... The only downfall especially if your staying overnight is that they only have one restaurant and no room service during the week... I feel you should at bare minimum have 2 or 3.. Also you can't get a cup of coffee before 8am and you have to go on the casino floor and flag down a waitress. The little store is gone out of the lobby so No newspaper... But we had a lovely visit just the same..
William Finley — Google review
The room was okay. The food is overpriced and mediocre at best at all 3 restaurants. Went to Best Odds (formerly Sweet Perks) at 8am which is when it was to be open only to be told by the staff person in an extremely rude tone "I'm not open yet. Shooting for 8:30. I got stuff to do." Rolled her eyes, turned her back to us and went back to sweeping the floor. Never had an experience like that when it was Dover Downs. Bally's had really taken this establishment down hill. Miss the store in the lobby for quick items. Need to allow check in at anytime as long as room is ready. Sad to see one of my favorite places getting ruined like this.

The hotel rooms are decent but the water pressure in the shower is horrible. The gym has limited hours and is pretty lame, including only cardio machines and dumbbells up to 50 pounds, plus the pool is out of order. The ballroom is nice, decent spot for a business conference. Central location with lots of nearby restaurants and shopping.
Michael O'Reilly — Google review
Had to stay here for a business trip and my expectations were low, but I was surprised how nice and clean the rooms were and how nice the hotel was in general. My view wasn't great - a parking lot, but there are lots of rooms with views of the race track which is really nice. Also all of the restaurants were closed due to a gas and electric issue, but it wasn't exclusive to the hotel, it was town-wide and not their fault. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice low to medium star quality place to stay. I’ve stayed in the updated rooms and dated rooms. I suggest they pick up the speed on completing the rest of the renovations. Many slots and table games. Restaurants are ok and they seem to need additional support. But if you know what your getting into you will have a lot of fun! Good luck!!!

Not enough kiosks for rewards cards. Lines over a half hour. Soda machines empty. Sugar factory food was just horrible. Fries were definitely old and reheated. Bread was stale. Otherwise a good selection of machines and had a good time gambling. Just gotta get lucky and find a machine that doesn’t have 20+ non-paying spins in a row. Can easily blow through $100 in minutes with a minimum net.

Nice little Casino in Dover, note gaming isnt 24/7 during the week, only weekends which was a disappointment. Rooms were well kept, few staff working were very friendly.
John White — Google review
This was a quick overnight for us. The customer service was awesome. The older gentlemen was super helpful. The men at concierge were also very helpful. Front desk staff were nice.
My biggest issue was the $50.00 fee to check in early. That is completely ridiculous. We have stayed at very nice hotels, and resorts around the world and never experienced this. Vegas does not do this, Atlantic City does not do this. I travel for work often and never once have I had to pay to check in early. If our room is ready when we arrive, they let us in. Period. This place has a prorated early check in fee. Madness.
The rooms are really dated and the bath towels are small but it served our needs. The bed and pillows were comfy. Two mini bottles of water were in the frisge. That size was a bit odd to me. I have not seen that anywhere.
The steak place was so so. I had the surf and turf. The steak was salty and so was the lobster. My husband's 16oz was meh. The Mac and cheese was ok. The creamed spinach was good. The thick cut bacon was good but it had way too much fat on it. Like half of it was fat so we did not have much of it to enjoy. The crabcake was good, the lollipop lamb chop was good, the French onion soup was fabulous. It was my favorite dish of the night! Our waiter was awesome.
Drinks at Sugar factory were good. You can never go wrong there. Customer service was great!
We had a good time playing slots and the table games. If we are in the area again, we will likely stay here but I doubt we will make a trip specifically to visit.

Decided to visit for Christmas Eve this way and was pleasantly pleased. I had not been to this location in almost 10 years and was surprised at how well the property has been kept up.
Rooms:
Very well maintained and cleaned to perfection. The only negative is the quality of the mattress and bedding.
Restaurants:
Good customer service and quick even with it being a major holiday. Everyone was so pleasant. New additions of restaurants offer good choices
Casino:
As a gambler I was pleased with the casino game selections. They have all of the current hot games as well as some of the older games left for those of us who enjoy them. Overall great stay and will return

Finally a smoke free casino! Went on a Tuesday early afternoon, lots of open machines, won a few $. Most restaurants are not open on Mondays & Tuesdays. Clean bathrooms and you can adjust the sound on most of their slots. We enjoyed ourselves and the low-key vibe of the casino.

Couldn't check in til 4. Dover used to check you in if there were rooms available. Now you have to stand in long lines. No more buffet, and casino doesn't open til 8. The bathroom floor was very sticky. Longo was the bright spot. Excellent food and service. Sweet perks, my sister ordered a Latte, was told couldn't make it because they had no milk. Come on, 12 in the afternoon.

The rooms are nice enough for a hotel of it's class. Early morning / late night dining options are non-existent. And room service is also non-existent throughout the week. The price is decent for what you get at least Monday through Thursday though.

I live 30 minutes away and visit the Casino occasionally. First time staying at the hotel. Had no problems and a wonderful time. Although it would be good if they could give me inside info on winning in the casino:). Everything was good to great and we will do this again. Trackside room was really cool if you are a NASCAR fan, although this was not a race weekend.
Jeff Blouse — Google review
The rooms are a bit dated, their offerings inside the casino offer essentially nothing besides gambling. What makes it a resort if there's nothing to do lol. I requested to checkout early because the neighbors next to my room were loud, the shower had hair all inside it, and on top of that there was nothing to enjoy besides slot machines. I requested to checkout early because I was not happy and received the run around from front desk staff for over 3 hours before just giving up and leaving.

No handicap parking so it was a difficult walk. No place to eat in building. Workers didn't know much hotel wasn't half full but wanted to charge me an additional $25
for a noon check, 1 additional hour. Even in Vegas I was never changed an amount for 1 hour. Will not stay there again.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights in March 2024 while looking at property in Delaware. We enjoy casinos and decided to stay here as it is centrally located to our other destinations. We found the staff at registration unfriendly and unhelpful. We arrived about 40 minutes ahead of check-in time and were told that it was too early but that we could check-in if we wanted to pay a fee for early check-in. I understand this policy and most hotels and resorts enforce such a rule. We arrived 40 minutes early, not 2 or 3 or more hours early. They made no offer to hold our luggage which meant if we wanted to go into their casino we had to return to our car with our luggage. They have a policy of no backpacks or luggage in the casino. Again, this is understandable but their customer service is seriously lacking and unfriendly. We have visited and stayed at casinos around the world but would probably not bother to visit this one again. Not hospitable.

We have been going to Dover casino for over 20 years. We always loved it there until it was taken over by Ballys. So much has changed. Here are a few: no free drink stations. You have to pay for bottles in a vending machine. Really? How cheap can you get? No buffet. In fact, no restaurant lunch service until after 2:00 during the week. Slot machines are more expensive here then the same machines in other casinos. Casino and restrooms are not nearly as clean as they used to be. Where are the perks for playing there? I used to get free play money and table vouchers. Nothing now except 5 or 10 dollars. The staff is not friendly. They seem to be miserable doing their jobs. This USED to be our favorite casino. Luckily, there are others to visit.

My husband and I decided that we needed a little vacation. So we checked into Billy's for a mid week getaway. We had a great time. They had a nice breakfast spot that serves breakfast until 1. The downside was that not all of their restaurants were open mid week, and their hot tub and pool were not open. But it's located in Dover and there are many places to dine. While I don't gamble, my husband does. It was a great little vaca.

Recommended destination for decent gambling and hotel rooms. Deluxe king room was clean and spacious. No microwave but did have a mini fridge. Local access to everything within a couple of miles. Walking distance to fast food if you don’t want to blow your wad on in house dining. Huge variety of slots. Some table games. Robo roulette and craps. NON SMOKING! Small section of smoking slots outside. Free outdoor parking with valet on the weekends.

I did not stay at the hotel. I can only speak on experience with the hotel staff for a birthday celebration that I attended on last Friday. They were pleasant and accommodating. The bar staff, Ashley and Becky, were very generous with the drinks. We all got some laughs in and I like that they weren't just all business and no fun. Who I am assuming to be the event manager (?) went above and beyond to have her staff search for some crackers. I'm so sorry I forgot your name but THANK YOU, again! The food was good. The bathroom was clean. It was a bit of a walk to the ballroom but the place is HUGE. I do look forward to visiting again and staying on the property.

The wine was good, the service was poor. There were no events going on that day, and it wasn't very busy. We asked to sample different wines, and it seemed like the girl serving us was not happy with the amount of samples we requested (4) We explained it was our first time being there and she offered no other information about the winery. We still bought 3 bottles of wine, which were conveniently packed in one box with a carry handle. Hopefully, we will have a better experience if we go back.

Honestly, one of the best hidden gems in NJ! Of course there's not a million animals like the Philly or Cape May Zoos, but the majors (tiger, bear, ect.) are there. And since it's not as well known, you can actually see them without waiting forever or trudging through hoards of people. If you're there between 11am and 4pm, almost every animal is out and about! To top it off, the peacocks have free roam of the zoo!

The winery has a beautiful interior. The wines that I tasted were just ok to me. Some very unique in flavor, especially the cider which didn't taste like a wine at all. The chardonnay was lovely. The kitchen was closed, so refrigerated snacks were the only option inside. A food truck was outside that I didn't explore (cold, windy day). On the weekends, reservations are capped at 1 hour and 45 minutes.

We've tried to love this place! We've been 3 times and tried 15 different wines. The wine is either sweet or has a bite, not really an in between. One time we were getting ready to leave about 10 minutes before closing and instead of walking over they yelled from 50 feet away that they were closing, which just didn't seem professional or friendly. The next time 3 out of 5 of our glasses had old lipstick on them. To top it off, on our last visit, we order the "personal cheese plate" to snack on. That's what the picture is of but not only was it not good it was $12. Unfortunately, we'll be driving a bit further to have a better experience from now on.

We. Love. It. Here. The staff, the location, the wine - all is perfection. We have been wine club members for years and continue to rave about this winery to friends and family who have become wine clubs members.
In the summer we bring our dog and sit on the patio, in the winter we sit at the tasting bar and enjoy chatting with the staff.

This was my first time to the winery although I have been to the Haddon field location. I loved this spot and the different places to sit inside and outside. I loved that they had food too. I'm not a wine snob, but I know what I like, if you catch my drift. I just wanted to say that to set the tone for this review.
I was introduced to this winery a little over a year ago by a family member. He mentioned a winery with good vibes and decent wine. Being only about 30 minutes away, I decided to take him up on it. Let me tell you, the outdoor vibes here is amazing. The indoor vibes when it's cold outside is equally awesome. From the nice decor to the warm welcome from Traveeta (sorry if I spelled your name wrong), you can't go wrong.
The wine is pretty decent. I enjoyed them so much I'm actually a wine club member. I'm not into sweet wines which is something they do alot of, but their regular Chardonnay and proprietors white blend are pretty friggin good. I'm not big into reds so when I go I tend to get the Cab Franc. All in all, you'll find something here to at least excite your palate.
Overall, good vibes, good wine, check it out.
365-acre family-owned farm offering rooms with antique decor, plus breakfast & a wine tasting room.
I can't say enough good thing about this place. The place is super charming and the staff was wonderful. I really loved that if you did a wine flight each one was poured individually and you were given some history on the wine to make the time there a bit more intimate. We actually were staying there over night with Harvest Host and it was wonderful. Easy to get in and out, and the scenery was just beautiful. My favorite was probably getting to all the cows out in the field. Would definitely come back and also definitely recommend!

Crow Vineyard is great. The wine is quite tasty, and they even have the rare cab franc, which is especially delicious. The servers are personable, it's a beautiful surrounding landscape, and the food is yummy too. All at a reasonable price. But if you want to tip your server, bring cash, because they do not accept credit card tips.

Family friendly atmosphere, with farm life all around. The wine is delicious and they make some pretty amazing food here. Definitely try their sandwiches and the cheese tray was good too. They have salsa and chips sometimes and soup too. Friendly staff, bring cash for tip.

Beautiful Farm, Lovely People, Award-Winning Wines, Delicious Food, Warm & Friendly B&B AND they are Harvest Host hosts.
This was our first time at Crow Farm, Vineyard, and Winery. The setting was spectacular, the wine was award winning ... LITERALLY, the staff were friendly and hard-working. Most of all though, Roy and Judy Crow were two of the most kind and hospitable hosts we have ever met. This is an up and coming winery. They are winning awards and the Governor had visited the day before we arrived to commend them on the outstanding job they are doing. We wholeheartedly recommend a special weekend or even just a vineyard stop here. There is a wine for every palate, and well as their lovely B&B, Harvest Host, and their own grass-fed beef and other specialties. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent wine tasting experience! Attentive service and delicious wine. The wonderful homemade veg beef soup they served is beef from their farm. This is a family farm with multi operations. Very impressed with it all. Definitely worth a visit!

The pro's: Nice property with a lot of vines. In an area of very nice farm land. Nice size tasting room and patio overlooking the vines. The 2 wines that we tried were good. Cab Franc and malbec.. the con's: We thought that the wines were a little pricey. If you buy it by the glass it's not the best pour, they're probably getting 5 glasses out of a bottle. There is no live music on weekends, Therefore atmosphere is a little dry and there's no reason to stay there very long. If you're traveling a bit of a distance to get there you probably won't make an afternoon of it.

We came here as a Harvest Host stop on our way down south. It's a beautiful setting on a working farm and winery. The wines are excellent and you can sample 3 - 5 different ones in 3 different flights. My favorite was the Chocolate Pairing Flight, with 4 different chocolates and 3 different wines...we ended up getting a bottle of one them to go! Plus another! This is a great stop for the wine enthusiast.. I highly recommend this place!

We found Crow Vineyard a few years ago when searching for places to volunteer with grape harvest. COVID threw us for a loop, but we finally circled back and had the opportunity to support with their Merlot grape harvest in September 2022.
The Crow family and their team welcomed us as if we were family. They’ve met our thirst for wine and winemaking with open arms and provided us with opportunities to connect with their winemaker (Michael) directly. We’ve felt that they treat harvest volunteers (and guests on their property) with the highest respect and fairness, which has kept us coming back (all the way from D.C.).
Recently, we attended a harvest luncheon that was held to demonstrate their gratitude for all the help their large body of volunteer harvesters provided and we brought our two year old son. Judy graciously took us around the farm to see the miniature horses, cows and other fun things (not to forget entertaining the fact that he was actively potty training).
Their new tasting room is almost ready to open, so If you’re considering a visit, I’d recommend it, not only for the great wine but also for the friendly family atmosphere.

Wow, never experienced such rudeness from a b&b before. Found what looked like a great place to stay online and communicated we were bringing our 2 year old in the reservation. They waited a full week to contact me to let me know children are not allowed in the main house. Totally understand and willing to figure it out, but it was not clear when I made the reservation. Judy was quite nasty when she communicated this and now we are stuck trying to find somewhere else to stay with less notice. Wish we could have worked something out, it truly seems like a lovely place. Can’t imagine the service is great with what I just experienced:(

We enjoyed the “Grape Stump” of 2022 this past weekend. Great weather, good music and good wine in a peaceful setting. We met Judy Crow, she was working hard, very kind and attentive to all clients. This is good place for Family, it is kid and pet friendly. Very clean bathrooms and facilities..

Refacing kitchen cabinets.
A huge shout out to All the guys that made my kitchen gorgeous. Dutch home employee Greg Clement started by explaining how the process works. Which was pretty easy and really no extra work for me but to clean out my cabinets. John Stoltzfus, was very easy to work with helping me picking out my wood and stain along with my hardware. Dave Lapp and his helpers installed my cabinets and did an awesome job!
I love my kitchen and it’s exactly what I wanted. Thanks Dutch Home

This is a good Dutch Amish Farmers market. Many friendly people who work there. Lots and lots of food to lock your eyes on. My favorite was visiting the bakery so many varying types of cakes, pies, pastries, cookies, etc. If you love all types of candy and chocolate this is the place to go, you're sweet tooth will certainly thank you. Also lots of home goods to explore in this market is a much visit. I only rated 4 stars because it is a smaller market than one that I frequently visit in the New Castle area.

The best donuts in Delaware….and maybe the east coast! Blueberry fritters and maple with bacon donut are amazing….pretty much like the other 100 or so flavors. Also a great meat shop, furniture store and fresh fruit and vegetable store.

We used to go to Amish markets when I was a kid in Dover. So, when the Dutch Country Market opened, I could not wait to visit when we moved back to Delaware.
They are very thing my parents bragged about. We make it a family trip driving down to Middletown, because my three small kids enjoy the trip just as much as I do.
The food is always fresh, tasty, and the people are ever so friendly. The parking lot is pretty large, and it’s nice that they are adequately sized spaces. I try to visit at least once a month.
Victoria Vaden — Google review
Visited this place today for the first time. It’s big store , lots of parking, with sections of Amish vendors who sell their Amish merchandise mainly food items such as pretzels , dairy produce , breads , meats and poultry , ice cream ( not Amish) and milkshakes with fresh fruit juices too. Proves seem reasonable apart from the seafood stand which seemed a bit steep in prices. The quality is traditional and good for most items. Outside the store there was a young man on a BBQ spreading ready made seasoning on whole chickens , wings, and leg quarters. We bought several items in the different stalls and tried them out and most were very good . The chicken from the BBQ is sold ar the store entrance where it’s kept warm and there are registers where you pay credit or cash . The problem was the BBQ chicken which was extensively salty because these pre prepared bolted spices usually have a lot of MSG and high sodium content so one has use the, sparingly not drown the chicken with the bottled seasoning. The result was that the whole bbq chicken I bought was not edible at all because of excessive salt and we had to throw it out as it was loaded with too much seasoning had been applied . The staff are very friendly and service very good . Customers tend to talk to each other with respect too which was nice to see. Someone needs to read the salt content on the seasoning they are using and apply it sparingly where the salt content is very high . I personally do not buy prepared seasonings precisely because of the hidden MSG and high sodium content so the BBQ is not for me otherwise the other stuff like breads and other baked items were good .

This was my first time here and by one of the better Dutch Country/Amish markets I have been to. The variety and quality of food was fantastic. There is a place that sells crab cakes and frozen pasta. The doughnuts were my favorite between the variety and the taste (once I got them home to eat).

It was a fun and challenging course. The instructor was great, and it was apparent he liked doing it. We felt properly trained to be on our own. The customer service, however, is horrible. Don’t rent a GoPro! Bring your own or strap your phone to your chest. We wish we had thought of that, but we rented theirs, which cost $25. Plus, we had to purchase a specific USB to see the footage. Only seven solid minutes of the video and sound were recorded. It should’ve been an hour. We requested a refund from the front office and 1-800 number, but no one cared to assist.
Update as of 10/20/2023: We are grateful that Go Ape refunded the $25 for renting the GoPro. Thank you, Go Ape, for your attention to this matter!

Beautiful place! Just recently started coming back here since I was much younger. Used to always come here with my family as a child so I guess we're starting the tradition back up lol. $8 parking for out of state isn't bad. Boat rentals are fairly cheap compared to other state parks I've been to. Can't wait to stay at their camp site!

Christiana Mall is a large shopping venue that features popular brand-name stores, a food court, and various sit-down restaurants. It also boasts a movie theater for entertainment. The mall has ample parking space with a big parking lot to accommodate visitors. One of the main highlights is the huge Target store which is conveniently located on one floor along with other cool stores. Brio Italian Grille restaurant comes highly recommended for its amazing cuisine. The mall maintains high standards of cleanliness and upkeep throughout its premises.
I found the mall to be very well maintained and clean. There are nice eateries in the food court and has all the shops you need for shopping and spending the day at the mall. They also have 8-10 EV car charging stations by Volta for the convenience of electric car owners. Overall a great experience.

They have a Awesome food court. Plenty of options, like Chinese, Italian, Chipotle, McDonald's, sweet desserts from Ms Fields, Auntie Annie, Cinnabon. Everything in this mall seems up to date and new looking. I would definitely go again.

I take an hour drive, from New Jersey to visit this mall. The mall is always clean, has a pretty good food court. It also, has very clean bathrooms that are very well taken care of. There are a lot of stores, especially stores my mall doesn't even have. Definitely recommend going to this mall. It also has plenty of shopping centers around it. There should not be nothing you can't find at this mall or it's surroundings area. I will always continue to visit this mall, it's one of my daughter's favorite malls.

This mall is very much unlike the Salisbury Mall. There were many ways to get around like elevators and escalators. There were plenty of attractions for the kids to. A candy shop, a LEGO store, and plenty of places to eat. I had pizza at their pizza place for got what the name was... then kids ate Chick-fil-A. Even a Target was connected, too. If you like going for a long walk on board walking on board then this is a definite place to visit. The board is very well maintained. The river seems to be 'Delaware River'. Along along the board walk you will find hotels, restaurants, PENN cinemas is 1 street away from the board walk. You can find it while ur walking on board. You can go early in morning or evening if the temperatures are ok. For rest rooms you will have to use the ones in restaurants, hotels beside the board. The board walk is very well maintained. You can also take a ride on bike.

Lots of history to read about along the way, so make sure you take your time and read some of the informative displays that are posted along the Riverwalk. Even has a few of the old cranes that were used to load and unload ships.
I did several miles today and didn't even realize it due to all that there is to see. As always, I recommend this for the entire family for a day of fun and adventure. I enjoyed this walk by the river. The area had excellent views of the Wilmington skyline as well as the grassy arena across the area. It's very commercialized, with restaurants, a children's museum, golf course, and farmers market. Unfortunately I visited on a Tuesday in March and most things appeared closed. Parking is scattered throughout the area so check a map. My only complaint is the bathrooms were closed. Thankfully the market had theirs open.

The Wilmington River Walk is a great place for a walk, to hang out, or to hit a resturant/bar. At least 6 resturant choices and 3 hotels(Hyatt Place, Homewood Suites, and Westin). Frawley Stadium, home to the Delaware Blue Rocks baseball team, is also located in this area. The shipyard that used to be on the waterfront, built landing craft (LSTs) for the Navy during WWII. The large cranes still exist at the site. Overall, a great place to visit.

This is a great venue for performances. It's a beautifully restored opera house in downtown Wilmington. It's intimate, and because it is, the acoustics are great. The best seats are in the orchestra. They have plenty of legroom. The seats in other areas are less spacious, especially in the balcony. Legroom is an issue for me since I am 6'-4", so I always get orchestra seats when I can. The prices for the tickets are always reasonable. The people who work there for the events are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Grand Opera House as a venue for performances.

Wife and i went to an 80's dance party there. Absolutely a blast. Lots of fun, but temper your expectations of a night out. This was $7. a ticket with a cash bar. The store is nice to check out afterwards or just go to the store. Stocked with their own apples as well as bakery with cider donuts.
Worth checking out if you are looking for an activity to do over the weekend with kids. Great for kids under age 12. Adults can have fun too in some activities.

Went apple picking and visited the Fall Festival with my partner and a couple friends and their toddler. The Fall Festival was very family-friendly with many activities included in the price. Just know that several popular attractions (like pony rides) cost extra.
Apple picking was you-pick with two varieties still there at the end of the season when we went: the orchard's own Sweet Zoes and Granny Smith apples. Both were amazing! We parked and rode a tractor over to the orchards then walked the rows. Even at the very end of the season that's were a decent amount to pick from and we filled about three bags between us all.
Food on premises was a step about fair food but the apple cider donuts and a gallon of apple cider to take home were a MUST BUY. They're absolutely fantastic and worth the trip just by themselves!

I have been going to this Milburn Orchards for a lot of years I can remember when my son was younger we would take him to the pumpkin land in the back of the orchard itself during the holiday season which is Halloween for them they would have all these activities for the kids.
The people are friendly courteous all you have to do is ask them a question what you’re looking for and they’ll let you know where it’s at in the store or if they don’t have it to let you know about that also.
I always enjoy going there during the fall season.
You can get there apple cider donuts all year around also they have plenty of variety of apples to choose from.

It's the season and you know what that means!! Milburn orchards is open and in the full Fall Spirit.
There are lots to do here!!
The market is free to go in and shop local. They support local barns and also have there produce and products inside. The market is open year round on limited hours.
The backyard is pricey and is cheaper on weekdays. During the fall season on weekends it gets crowded. There's playgrounds , hayrides, mazes, animals to visit. There are also food and scarecrows for purchase.
Pick your adventures!!
All year be on the lookout for what's available to hand pick.
There's blueberries during the summer and apples during the fall.
But I know there are cherries too and peaches etc.
For the apples reserve a spot online and the price includes a hay ride to and from the orchard.
Parking at Milburn is free and they are good about having crossing guards to stop traffic for pedestrians.
The cider and cider donuts are amazing and you gotta get them hot and fresh !! They also sell them in the freezer section in the market !!!
They also have ice cream !!! Lots of flavors and of course add the donut to the sundaes !!!

We recently had our boys (4 and 6 year olds) birthday party at Milburn orchard! This was by far one our more loved parties! Rebecca was amazing! From being helpful the day of, to answering all of our questions leading up to the party, she was there every step of the way! We have had a season pass to Milburn for several years and we always love our time there! We highly recommend booking a private event at the orchard!

The experience AS A WHOLE was fun, educational, and enlightening. The price to get in was $2/person (over 2 y/o). The price of the containers was much higher than I had thought they’d be. The weather was hot and muggy, and the staffers were much you get then I’d expected.
I came for the enjoyment, excitement, and educational aspects. I saw plenty of pollinators and beetles and plants as well as fungi. Unfortunately, I stepped on many fallen and rotted fruits, and there were many ants and bees on the ground, too, but it was very educational in seeing how the world works and understanding the concept of U-Pick.
I didn’t like seeing and stepping on the moldy fruit. You MUST have your wits about you in these orchards. I saw some customers gaming the system by eating as they picked and then moving on to pick more because their boxes weren’t filled yet. (Grumble)
Because I’m an amateur fruit picker and not so experienced to ensure I can pick my moneys-worth of peaches… I felt this experience was a bit over-priced for me. With the hot weather and all… the porta-potty was clean and water to wash your hands was clean.
Lovely park with a boardwalk trail and playground. Very peaceful!

Pleasant place to relax. The Susquehanna River and its vast expanse flows alongside as you walk the Promenade. The Promenade is at least a 1/4 mile long. Maybe a 1/2 mile. It's enough to get your walk on.
The Promenade is a very cool place and a good use of public space. You will find the historic Concord lighthouse, the historic house of the Lighthouse Keeper, a duck decoy museum, (no never visited), an eatery for a quick bite, a marina, and places along the Promenade where people fish for dinner. There's a pier that juts out into the Susquehanna. People fish there. Another spot where people fish right from shore is located near the eatery.
Find this peaceful gem of a place in Havre de Grace, MD just off Rt 40 and down Revolution Road to its end. Make right. See lighthouse to your left.
I come for the Nature. The place is a show-off with nature, birdlife and the river with its lapping "baby" waves. Its' a place where you can sit back, relax, take in the view and breath fresh air. Nice! People are friendly, too. -Bill Curtis /New Mark Advertising Specialties

Beautiful, scenic and relaxing place. Perfect for family strolls. My kids enjoyed the walk along the bay, spotted turtles and enjoyed some outdoor exercise. Lighthouse was a nice surprise!

Looking for a spot to launch your boat? A spot to picnic? A walkway to stroll with your family? A place of both historic & natural beauty? The Promenade is that place.
You can avail yourself of the restroom facilities, the deli style restaurant and the pavilions at the harbor. A stroll will take you to the lighthouse. Top all this off with a wide range of shops and places to eat nearby and you have a place to spend the day or a vacation. Love this place.

My family loves this place. Great food, reasonable price and best location. There's a sweet nature trail off the side of the boardwalk closer to the lighthouse. My teenage son and I enjoy reading the history of Havre de Grace along the boardwalk.
What a Nice park. Well done. My wife are from PA. We took a day trip and really enjoyed this park. Cudos to the creators.

This lighthouse protected vessels from dangerous waters where the Susquehanna River traveled 444 miles to meet the Chesapeake Bay. It was originally lit by 9 whale oil lamps with tin reflectors that could be seen from 8 miles away This spot is where British Forces attacked the city from the sea and destroyed the city of Havre De Grace Maryland during the war of 1812. The lighthouse keeper was one of the heroes in the defense of the City. President Clinton and Vice President Gore gave a speech here in 1995. This place is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Wanted to get out to see some water on a beautiful day and made a spontaneous road trip. My son and dog were along for the ride, and we all enjoyed our visit. There was a garden event wrapping up, so visited some vendors. Parking was easy and free. Beautiful area and gardens with a wildlife promenade right beside the water. No dogs allowed on the promenade, but mine is a service animal. She loved seeing the water, animals, and people. There's a marine museum, park, docks for fishing and boating, and a fresh air restaurant with casual food. Really nice small-town family atmosphere with beautiful sights.

Such a beautiful area. I love taking a drive over to see the lighthouse when I have the time. There's also a nice lawn to relax on and plenty of benches to sit on. Not too crowded and always a clean area.

I see most of the pictures of this place are on "sunny days" but for our experience, it was a gloomy and rainy day, however, I want to show you the Lighthouse it's beautiful rain or shine. We had such an amazing day and experience there, even when it was raining, it was a great time. This historic place it's not only great place to walk, run, chill out, fish, learn about Flora/ fauna of the area, history of Harve the Grace but I also can see this place as a wedding venue, photoshoot area, proposals and to learn about the culture of the area. Don't miss out on this beautiful area and walk! I highly recommend it 🔥🔥🔥

Dog friendly. Beautiful Lighthouse area and park. Has a nice boardwalk with pretty views as well. Parking was easy luckily and quick. Enjoyed a few hours here, sat on bench and watched couple ships pass thru! Calm and relaxing place to hang out. Recommend coming here for sights and history

There is nothing about this clean, well-cared for area and town that my family and I do not love. The park is rich in history and beautiful, and the pathway and boardwalk connect it to a beautiful marina. A great, easy stroll through shaded paths and open areas present many opportunities for photographs. Spend some time here. Although the original French pronunciation of the Towns name has long been lost and replaced by something that doesn't quite roll of the tongue, it's rich history and stunning location are still preserved

We took a ride down to see this lighthouse because I love lighthouses! The area is so beautiful and peaceful. There is a great walking area and a little beach. Many scenic areas to take pictures as well as benches to sit and enjoy being near the water. If you walk the entire way down the boardwalk there is a food area.

This is a cute scenic spot! Nice walking trail, museums and gift shop near by. I saw people fishing, kids playing on the bays beach. There were wild animals roaming. It's peaceful, even with a lot of people. There's a boat dock and deck area.
Street parking.
Tour the lighthouse for free.
Wheel chair accessible walkway made of wood.
A gold star memorial on site.
Spot is great for photos and a nice area to rekindle your relationship with mother nature.
