Went with a big group of friends on Saturday. It was a really fantastic experience: the puzzles were thought-provoking and clever, the room was cool, the staff was lovely. We did murder mystery...we lost, but still had a ton of fun.
We had El as our game master. She was great! Very friendly, helpful, and fun. She was clearly enthusiastic about the experience, and seemed to be rooting for us! Lol
I'll be coming back someday. Highly recommended for a great time with friends!
Chad Sutton — Google review
Could have been better the time limit sucks and the room was not ready and past of it didn't get reset after the group before us but had a good expeeience maybe next time they have the room put together and we might be able to finish it
Justin Lemunyon — Google review
So went with people who had never done an escape room. We did not make it out but enjoyed it. We got to caught up on fake clues. Also my dyslexia did not help. We agreed to try it again sometime and see it they had one with more spatial problem solving puzzles. Also liked the daily puzzle board.

We had so much fun here! It was our second time and we enjoyed ourselves once again! Challenging and fun! Thanks again!

This was a lot of fun! I thought we’d stink at it but turned out that we made a great team… that team including our Game Master Sage. She was so polite, concise and helpful with her clues without giving it away! Definitely hope to have her next time!!!

Staff is very friendly. We did the 6.5 difficulty, and it was a good beginner one. So fun. It is very pricey, though. Probably won't be able to afford it again anytime soon.

Danny is the best at Escape room he gave me and my friends an amazing experience! Ready to tackle another challenge

Me and my boyfriend thought it would be a fun date night to do an escape room … and we were right ! Even though we didn’t make it out (why we chose a 9/10 difficulty our first time , I’ll never know 😉 ), we had the best experience !
Our game master , Sarah , was SO amazing and kind and really explained everything so thoroughly!
Kyra Kasiewicz — Google review
This place is a lot of fun. The employees were warm and welcoming, the room was challenging, and everything seemed well organized. We didn't beat our room the first time, but we definitely want to go back and try our hand at it again. A good way to spend some time together as a family.
Jenee K — Google review
Wow must return didn't complete the room and had to ask for hints. Got to go back and finish room as well as conquer all the rooms. Different days have different prices so best to go earlier in the week if on budget. Perfect for a date night! Also planned on filming but no phones are allowed in rooms so you just got me going inside😂.

My friends and I had so much fun. We did the Mayday room and made it out with like 3 minutes left. Our game master, Skyler, was awesome! He was super funny and did a really good job of explaining how things worked and giving us hints when we needed them. 10/10, will definitely be going back in the next couple of months!

Excellent production value and great staff! So much fun! We solved it!
Dan Weber — Google review
We came there Tuesday February 28th and had a horrible experience! We bragged to our friends about how fun these were! Our game time was at 8:20 and our game master kept asking us how we were doing as it made us feel rushed. I thought part of the game was for us to ask them when we needed help not them keep asking us if we needed clues! We had multiple game masters and none of them knew even where we were at in the game to give us a clue when we did ask for one! Even though we made it out with 9 minutes remaining we didn’t get asked what name we wanted for the hall of fame. Hopefully your employees treat people better than this. Maybe it was because they closed at 9 and wanted us out. I’m not sure what it was but we were not happy about it!
Shelby G — Google review
They leave you in a dark room and expect you to use two flashlights to find the clues, meaning if you don’t have one your basically useless unless you’re working in groups. Then we got to the end of the puzzles and the last thing didn’t open. When the helper came in after the time ran out she said it was right, she moved the puzzle around and still couldn’t get it to open. Frustrating as it was the last thing to do. As I’m seeing more reviews it’s become obvious they don’t care about stuff being broken, they just want your money.

We had so much fun playing the Under Pressure room! We’ve got another Escapology room under our belts :) Thank you so much Sage! Y’all were awesome!

My husband and I did our first room, it was a blast! It was a little pricey, $80 for one hour of fun. We were not successful in escaping, but laughed and really enjoyed working together. It was an extremely good time!! Charlie, our game master, was a doll! She was just one of the amazing staff employed at this location. We will be going again!

I decided to include escapology in our schedule for the night for my husband's surprise birthday night out. We had Sage and she was absolutely amazing. Was super kind and explained what we had to do to finish the room. We really want to go back because of our awesome experience we had with sage's help. Thank you again Sage for a fun experience.
Mary Olds-Fillmore — Google review
Drove an hour for a fun date day activity and it was definitely worth it!! We’ve done other escape rooms in the past with different companies and this was definitely the most well thought out. Sage was amazing! Very helpful. Would request her in the future if I could.
Jennifer Dowell — Google review
The prices have gone up considerably over the past couple of years ($40/person) but we still enjoy going. The puzzels are thought out. I would like to see them change out the rooms more often and possibly update the locks because some of them dont want to unlock even though you use the correct combination. You have to be a little rough to pull them open. But overall, we really love going here.
Nathan Langstrom — Google review
I do not have an awesome picture. But my partner and I enjoyed the experience because of the game master!! Though the game itself was intriguing and mysterious it felt unnerving having to use instincts to solve the puzzles. Thank you to Margaret!! Our awesome game master it was an experience to remember!!
Deleon Dyson — Google review
Our time at escapology was so much fun! Maddy and our game host were so amazing and friendly! They were very helpful in the room and gave good instructions. Overall our experience was amazing and would 100% recommend!
State-of-the-art museum pairs rare aircraft with flight simulators & 4D theaters plus amusements.
We went on a family outing here and had a great time. We went during the week so it was not busy at all which allowed for a more leisurely walk through the museum. There were exhibits, interactive learning stations, and rides. It has something for all ages. I appreciate that the museum makes a effort to highlight minorities and women for their contributions to aviation. We watched a movie on women's suffrage in the theater. We are planning another trip to be able to spend more time. We spent about 2 hours and could have spent more.

Amazing! I cannot say enough good things about this place! It was the highlight of our trip to Kalamazoo! The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. The exhibits were fantastic and the fact that one price gets you everything once you're inside was awesome! My youngest son and I loved the flight simulators! It was a blast and truly fun for the whole family! If you are in the Kalamazoo area, I HIGHLY recommend a trip to the Air Zoo!
Travis Huber — Google review
We were recently in town for my wife’s sister, who had a baby. We had a morning to kill a few hours, so we decided to come here. Our bar was pretty high, considering we’re from Dayton Ohio, where we have access to the right Pat Air Force Base museum. Ours back home is free. This one cost us about $50 to get in as a family of four, my daughter who is four years old was able to get in free.
One thing that’s nice is that fee includes all of the rides and attractions inside of the museum, so it was nice to not have to pay for anything extra while we were in. My kids loved it and had a blast plenty of rides attractions and airplane cockpit simulators for them to get in and enjoy. I’m a history buff so I got my fill as well.
Also, our whole family enjoyed the space part of the exhibit where we had all of the sci-fi In theory from movies! I especially enjoyed the second building, not as much for the kids to do but at the time they are restoring two airplanes recovered from Lake Michigan.
This is an amazing private museum that has a ton of volunteers. As far as staff goes, was friendly, kind courteous and informative. Some of the best customer service I’ve received ever.. There was one young man that was running the airplane attraction for the kiddos. He stood out, especially super friendly, made my kids feel warm. We need more people like him. I wish I would’ve got his name to give him a shout out in this review I was very impressed!
I don’t know if we’ll come back only because we’re not from this area but if you haven’t, then I would recommend going 10 out of 10!
Skyler Rader — Google review
This place is very unique and enjoyable for all ages. The kids love coming here because they have some really cute, clean, safe rides that they can enjoy. The lines are usually very small or even now wait. They keep the place very clean and tidy. The staff are friendly. There are so many things to do here. There are a lot of things that you can look at, some things to play with, some things to ride in, a movie theater, and a good mix of everything. I definitely recommend checking this place out! We bought a membership and the membership even gives you discounts on other museums.
Cassandra Linklater — Google review
We are from Iowa and are visiting family in the area, so we decided to check out the air zoo. My four year old loved the rides and all the interactive exhibits. The adults enjoyed all the cool old planes and learning about them. I enjoyed the androids section! Lots of fun stuff. Worth a visit. The volunteers are great too, very friendly and helpful.
Lauren Jensen — Google review
We had a great time here!! It was a return visit for me and my husband though it had been years since our last one.
Came on a Sunday and while it was a little busy it was not crowded. There were long waits for the simulators and the moon ride, the moon ride is understandable there's only 1, but there are 4 simulators and only 1 was going. We decided to skip them because of the wait. Did they need more help to run them? Not sure but that was a disappointment.
Other than that our kids loved the other rides and everything to see!
The WIC discount was super nice even though we were planning to pay full price!
Will definitely return in the future.

Found this gem place , 45 minutes from GR, the place is totally underrated , but thank god it was not crowded.
So many air planes , helicopters, fighter planes from WW2 , Korean War , Vietnam war and much much more…
There are 2 buildings , we could only cover 1 building as we went on a Sunday afternoon , there are some indoor rides for all ages…
Tickets are $18 per adult.
There is restrooms, cafe , souvenir shop…
Staff is super friendly…

Really cool Air & Space museum, especially for kids!
We stopped here on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded, though it was the day before Easter, so I don't know if "normal" Saturdays see more patrons.
The main focus is on planes, and boy do they have them! There are tons of planes, from various eras, available to look around and read about. WW II is probably the biggest collection, but they have some more modern jets as well.
It's pretty great if you've got kids who like planes - as soon as we entered my 3 year old said "WOOOOOOW, ZOOOMS!" and was completely beside himself.
The main area has a couple of carnival-type rides - enough to occupy kids for a bit, but not too many to eat up all the time you've allotted for the visit.
There's also a space section, which has both true and fictional spacecraft and replicas. This was the favorite section for my older kids.
There's another building of exhibits, but we didn't have time this trip to go visit it - it includes additional planes and some open cockpits you can sit in.
The cafe is overpriced, but not at much as we expected, seems fairly reasonable for a museum cafe. The gift shop, too, didn't seem unreasonably priced for a museum gift shop.
All-in-all, it's a nice museum, and would recommend stopping if you enjoy aircraft, the history of aircraft, or especially if you have kids who like planes.
John K — Google review
This air museum is beautifully constructed and each mural is painstakingly painted. The items in the museum are well taken care of, the information, the guides, the exhibits. You can't come to this air zoo without feeling something about the amount of history you visually see. The aircraft alone can take your breath away, just imagining the machine when they were in their hayday and the lives that were changed from wars and tours. There are sections of the museum that will open your eyes to what some of the young men and women who served in wars and what they endured. This place bring you as close to the machines as possible. You get the insiders perspective from the outside. We have gone here a couple times and each time we walk away with more information and appreciation.
With COVID still lingering social distancing is a must and mask wearing highly recommended. We went as soon as they opened and it was wonderful the lack of people made the experience of viewing the aircraft very intimate and the solitude very peaceful. We didn't feel rushed nor felt the need to engage except for the occasional button to press. They sanitize the exhibits regularly for those being touched and also have the cafe open should you get hungry. I recommend the caesar salad is was generous in portion and very delicious. My son had the turkey sandwich which was also a great portion. We purchased our meals ahead which was nice as once it turned lunch time we were hungry and the items were ready.
The staff were amazing and helpful and just like anything else in this time frame be patient as low staff does affect businesses. I would recommend spending at least 4 hrs to seeing it all and go back in time from the exhibits. You will thank yourself for taking the time to appreciate the past.

What an incredible place! Best air museum I’ve been to. $16 and we spent 3.5hrs there — if you love aviation, plan for 4+ hours here. Ran into a volunteer named Ed who was amazing - lots of stories and knowledge of aircraft. They could charge double and it would still be worth every penny.
Brian Potter — Google review
This air museum is one of a kind, with tons of unique air craft that you won't find anywhere else! Among the highlights is obviously the SR-71 trainer, the only one ever built. They also have the only XP-55 in existence. The museum has many more aircraft on display for you to walk around and look at, and have an exhibit in the back about World War 2 and the Guadalcanal campaign. The flight simulators they have here are also fantastic as long as you are tall enough to reach all the controls. Honestly one of the best museums in West Michigan, and one that I have enjoyed going to since I was a kid
Daniel Smith — Google review
A very outstanding place to learn about the history of flight in the military. The exhibits are amazing getting up close as well as having simulators to test visitors skills. Great price too. The staff was very welcoming and went out of their way to point out some of their favorite exhibits. Definitely a place to see when in Michigan.
joseph orona — Google review
I just visited the Air Zoo a few days ago with my fiancée. The staff are excellent in terms of providing further back stories to some of the exhibits currently displayed. Additionally, a well rounded experience for all ages to enjoy. A person can definitely spend 4+ hours at the museum without any problem, which is well worth the $18 per adult admission price.

Do not miss this one! There is something for everyone here. We had a family group with ages 7 to 65 and there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. Kiddie rides, all the way to WWI history and before. Over 100 air planes and other vehicles. All in a very large, climate controlled building. The static displays were incredible. If you are someone in your group who has mobility issues, don't worry. They have you covered. Plenty of benches and easy access for all types of mobility devices. It's a fun day. It was not over crowded and there was lots of parking.
Dan StlMo — Google review
One of the most enjoyable visits to any Air & Space museum we've had. Genuinely surprised at both the size of the facility and the quality of the displays. The volunteer staff was knowledgeable and enthusiastic... they all loved answering questions. They even gave us private tours inside some of the aircraft! I'll tell you, it's a special feeling when a vet walks up to you, asks if you want to go on board the aircraft you're ogling, and they reach down to that clip on the end of the rope to let you step inside history. Most highly recommended!!!

If you are into airplanes, this place is for you! Tons of planes inside and out. There is a movie theater. Flight simulator is a must do! Upstairs there is a restaurant for snacks if you get hungry. The gift shop has many unique items for all ages! For smaller children they have a kiddie ride area. Highly recommend 💚💯💯

This place is incrediblyy huge, awe inspiring, and extremely awesome to visit. We found out about it because my girlfriend and I collect squished pennies and were supper happy to see they had not 1 but 2 machines! 😍 it is hard to express how BIG this place is, they have the main building and then the original one which is smaller but definitely a must visit. They have these gorgeous hand painted murals that wrap around the inside but they also have some extremely beautiful and rare birds like the SR-71 and some incredible helicopters, they also have lots to do for little ones, babies, and kids :) 10/10 would recommend, it is worth every penny and more!

Worth every cent! My kids loved this place, even the teenager! The staff was amazing at every turn, I loved the older people who were full of information. I can't believe some of the things they knew, what I wouldn't give to have spent an hour asking them questions. Definitely go to the other building. It is a short walk, but the drive was fun as well. They have a cute electric bus that was great, I loved the gift shop too. Everything was reasonably priced.
Casondre — Google review
Very nice place to visit, veterans, first responders, and active military get half off price. Plan on being there a while as there's a lot to see. It's very interesting and informative. If you have questions on anything there's a very knowledgeable volunteer staff. Great place for young and old alike, they have flight simulators. Don't miss out on the flight Discovery Center just a short drive down the road as they have A unique restoration program where many planes have been restored and the workers who are restoring them are most happy to talk to you and answer any questions you might have about the restoration process. A must-see!

So much fun, especially if you have any veterans you know, or don't know where to take your boyfriend. It was really kid friendly as well even though we were 2 adults. The staff was lovely. Going back for sure!

This place was amazing do not miss it. The staff is super friendly and answered all our questions. There was so much to see and do and our kids didn’t want to leave. You can definitely spend the whole day here if you have younger kids. But big kids (adults included) will have a blast too! Also great picnic area if you want to bring a lunch.

Great lunch stop! Wonderful staff and good prices!!!!
Excellent staff and service, I did my reservation on their website, walked in to check-in at appointment time and I was on the water within 10 minutes. Equipment was all in good condition, the waterway was cleared of all fallen trees and I was picked up within 15 minutes of calling at the pickup point at the end of the trip. I've been on multiple trips that they offer and it has always been worth it.

My friends and I come here every single year for my birthday! This year we had 24 people in our group. We love it! The campground is peaceful and never overcrowded! All of the staff is so friendly they make you feel like family! From the receptionist to the bus driver to the security to the people that help load and unload you from the water, they are all amazing! Always a great time at the trading post!

My family and I went kayaking on a Tuesday to the Nasby Dam. It was a slow paced, quiet day. We really enjoyed the peace and the beauty. Booking an appointment was easily done on line. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed meeting one of the Trading Post’s newest (dog) members, Potato. Next time we will pack a lunch and try a longer trip.

Trading Post Outfitters is a little bit out of the way but on the recommendation of a friend we made the trek and it was definitely worth it. The staff is very helpful and all of the kayaks we had were in good working order. The facility is neat and orderly with clean bathrooms and lots of changing stalls. There are two kayaking options, we took the west section which leads away from the Trading Post. We plan to come back and do the east section as well. The river itself is beautiful, with a good current and the water is very clear. We saw lots of fish in it and a couple of otters as well.

Fun place for a canoe trip on the Pigeon River. They rent canoes and kayaks and bus you out to the drop off point. The best part for me is that the river takes you right back to the campground and they do all the clean up of the boats and stuff so it's a nice experience for the family and parties alike.
Jake Donaldson — Google review
We kayak here at least once a year and have done both “routes”. The River is beautiful and it’s not difficult to navigate. You do have to portage on each route though. Some are longer than others so ask about that. Piece of advice… keep your phone in the waterproof box!!
The family who owns this place are really great. We love it. Make a reservation tho. 😀

Been going to Trading Post for about five years now and I’ve got to give this place its due praise and compliments. From the overall serenity of the place, the welcoming staff with smiling faces, ready to assist you in whatever comes their way. To the canoe/kayaking adventures….always a blast!
This year we were celebrating not only a birthday for a young one but it was also their first time camping. The bar was set high for him with the expectations and boy did they live up to them!!! From the last minute arrangements, all the way to the overall safety of the campground, it was a phenomenal first time! It wasn’t very busy and because of that we were able to let the young ones explore a little bit more than if it had been busier. (We definitely felt safe in doing so.) The kayaking expedition was a little chilly but not enough to keep us from having a great time!
Needless to say I am super pumped to be coming back in late July for another great time!!!
By golly I love this place!!! 😍😎🛶⛺️😀

Been coming for many years with a big group. Quiet hours are 11PM which seems early for being campground full of people trying to have a good time on a weekend. Quiet hours for the owners also mean, no talking and go to bed.
Staff is super friendly though and the river is a good time

Great place to come to. beautiful views. lazy river. Wish they had water at the campsite. Glad I have 26 gallon tank. The lack of water at the campsites would not stop me from returning. Awesome place just need to have plenty of water containers. Filling and dumping station on site.
The staff are so professional and treat you like friends and family. The kitchen serves a great menu for those in need of a quick bite between dance songs. The atmosphere is amazing for a night out!! We met for an office meeting at 6 in the Brew Hous. Eli, working on staff, was excellent at making sure we were taken care of. We then went out to the amphitheater to enjoy the rest of the evening listing to "A Tribute to Queen". What a great evening on the river here in Paw Paw!

Stopped in for a tasting - 4 of us and we had a nice coupon for half off. The tasting pours were super large (biggest we've ever seen at a tasting room) and after the tasting our coupon included a 5 ounce glass of our favorite, which was also a larger pour. We stayed with the dry wines which were mostly pretty good. Some were a little astringent for our taste. The port was way to sweet for us. Nice stop though - definitely worth it.

I liked four out of the 5 wines I chose. For a Saturday there could have been more staff. We waited quite awhile to be given menues and then longer to served.
Marianne Completo — Google review
This place has a stunning outdoor area--seating by a creek, bridges, a viney courtyard. Our hostess was knowledgeable about the taste of the wines and suggested some combinations that were not on the menu. It was $8 to try 5 wines.
Only negatives were that the indoor areas seemed like they needed a little freshening up, and some of the areas that were meant for viewing, like the champagne cellar, had cobwebs and other things that had let been let go.

Purchased seats at table 1 for Thunder Struck ACDC band and was made to share table with recording engineers and always in our way. Wait staff never bothered to take our order or take care of us which made me stand in lines for my own service. Very unprofessional with no staff on site to help with issues.

I have been to this winery several times and have generally had a nice experience, but last night was totally different. We came for wine tasting and were able to get a spot easily at the tasting bar, however none of the employees greeted us or would even make eye contact with us. It was a little busy and they were helping others around us and we don't mind waiting, but it doesn't cost a thing to be friendly and say "welcome, we'll be with you in a minute." Nothing. We waited for 15 minutes while three of them behind the bar walked back and forth in front of us never acknowledging us or even giving us a tasting menu so we could start picking out our choices while we waited. We felt invisible and unwelcome. We would have left if we hadn't driven so far just to come here. We were finally helped and we watched other customers be ignored as well as they waited patiently. We watched one of the employees behind the bar polish glasses and restock shelves while customers waited. I know they see all of us, but why are they being so blatantly rude? I don't understand. Do you not rely on your customers? I had every intention of buying a case of wine after the tasting, but after the horrible customer service and total disregard to all the customers, I left empty handed. I will probably never come here again. Very poor experience. No matter how busy you are, there is no excuse for treating people like this ever!

A random stop on our road trip. Wine tasting is decently priced and so are the bottles of wine. Friendly and helpful staff

My new favorite 😍 💓 place! Loved everything thing about it. Wisconsin winery's could learn something from here. Never had wine that taste THIS GOOD.
Recommending PB & J. The spirit and wine I never knew I needed.

The Rockford facility has always been a nice place to visit, but lately the management as taken to harassing some of their frequent patrons. They are cutting the whole table off when maybe only one has had four drinks. The purpose is to enjoy your drinks and have fun.

This is a beautiful store , very clean with great customer service. They let me sample the wines I wanted to buy first. Good prices with a great selection. Anxious to try their brandy and bourbon. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Highly recommend it
Lovely new pumpkin varieties this year! This is a great destination for all things fresh & Fall! On-site apple and grape picking, cider, fresh donuts, pumpkins, gourds and local goods.

Very friendly staff, nice apples, and super delicious awesome grapes. I visited this place towards the end of season, but everything is still wonderful. I plan to come back pretty early next year, may be next summer. Highly recommend Corey lake farm for your family.

I have lived 10 minutes from this fantastic establishment my whole life, yet today was my first time visiting. I was not disappointed and neither was my family. The apple orchard was phenomenal, well organized, and the employees were super courteous. After we finished there we ventured down to their market and grabbed up some of their homemade donuts and cider, took pictures. They have Wines, Beers, meats, produce, pumpkin's and much much more. Our kids are between 16 & 22 but children of all ages would love it here without a doubt. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Beth, and that was awesome as well. After talking with Beth for several minutes I can easily understand why this place has got it going on, they certainly know how to make people feel welcome. This experience will become a yearly tradition for me and my family for many years to come.

Local fresh veggies, cider, wine, brandy & baked goods. They’ve been in business and family owned for along time-not a pop up fruit stand with produce from who knows. Bring the kids to pick out a pumpkin and a gallon of fresh cider, made on site. Pick up a bottle of wine to enjoy after the pumpkins are carved and the kids are in bed!!

Very disappointed in our visit here. We drove almost two hours to meet with family to pick apples and got there more than an hour before closing and the person working there basically told us it wouldn’t be worth it and that we should come back the next day. Their website says they stop doing U pick a half hour before closing so we were confused when she told us not to do it when we still had time. They seemed to just want to close up shop and we felt rushed to leave at that point. I was hoping for a better experience here, maybe it was an off day for the workers.
Olivia Lindsey — Google review
We drove over an hour to meet family and pick in the orchard only to be told that it wouldn’t be worth it to pick apples an hour before they closed. They also said we HAD to pick two bushels worth in order to do the U-pick? I understand having certain limits on things, but they did have smaller bags marked by price for the U-pick near the front that they didn’t mention. Just sort of felt like we were getting pushed out because everyone wanted to close and go home even though there was still an hour till close. I’d suggest that if you don’t want people to be picking that late, maybe change the hours. I wish our experience had been better.

Great place, big open area to pick grapes and apples, nice market place and friendly staff ~ prices very good!
Open seasonally, this quaint petting zoo with native & exotic animals offers wagon rides & feedings.
It was great place for kids to play with animals. Actually way better then most zoos. Instead of looking at an animal stuck in a cage 30 feet away you can pet and feed them. The wagon ride with all the cows and other animals hogging food is hilarious. They even have a zorse and a zonky.

This place is a small piece of heaven. The experiences for our two boys being able to touch, see, and feed camels, zebras, long horns, horses, ducklings, bunnies, elk, reindeer, water buffalo, buffalo, birds, pigs, turtles, and many more, was inspiring. There are pony rides and a must do wagon ride. There is also a place to get good burgers, ice cream, fries. The many lovely acres of well manicured land where most of these animals run free and will approach you to eat right out of your hand. Even more lovely in this community are the Amish people that exude kindness, work, and devotion to one another and Christ. We felt so welcomed by everyone there. The only downside was leaving as our boys cried all the way home screaming that they wanted to go back to the farm. 😀

Absolutely loved it. We had never been. We brought family from out of town. A friend recommended it. You get to go in a wagon ride thru the farm and feed the animals from the wagon. They give you the feed. The animals that were in the cages could have fruit loops and carrots. You could buy them there too. Lots of fun stuff to see and do. We stayed for a couple hours. They have a place to wash your hands. The bathroom is a port-a-potty. It's ran by a sweet Amish family.

It is the most beautiful place for children at all. There are a lot of animals and my children enjoyed a lot. When you enter, you will pay two dollars for each child who wants to feed the animals and ride horses. There is a small and a large horse for $ 5, and there is a lot of fun with the small animals. Then we took ice cream. Soon we didn't feel it and the Amish people were so nice 🤗my kids were asking me to go again

This place is amazing and the website doesn't do it justice! For one price, cheaper than the zoo, you can do a wagon ride and feed all kinds of amazing animals that come right up to the wagon and also walk through a large area with different animals to pet and some you can even go into their cages. You can purchase food for $1 for these animals if you'd like. It's so worth the trip! Then you're about 5 minutes from the flea market and the amazing food at the Blue Gate and Das Dutchman Essenhaus.

My girls (9 & 13) had a blast here! They got to see many animals that they had never seen before, and feed them! The wagon guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, and unlike many of these types of attractions, they will keep refilling your food bucket as much as you want! The petting zoo was also a hit, and all the animals were friendly. Definitely a great value and the highlight of our trip!

What a cool place! Grew up not too far from here and had no idea it existed! The wagon ride was awesome, the kids loved it. Lots of great animals to pet and see!

I took my 13 and 11 year old grandkids yesterday. I've never been before but friends recommended it. The wagon ride was a good experience overall. They made many stops and we were able to feed the animals that came up to the wagon. The problem I experienced was with the petting farm area. It was quite warm and most of the animals did not have shelter from the Sun. If there was a shelter, all of the animals couldn't fit in it. Many of the animals did not have water. There were birds without water. And there was no supervision around that area. Many of the kids were chasing birds in the aviary even though there were signs and their parents were there. Several of the animals had goopy eyes and maggots. I have seen other reviews with the same concerns so I hope someone addresses it soon.

This is a wonderful place! Great for kids, there was so much interaction with animals. I’d choose this over a zoo any day!

The Dutch Creek Animal Park was an awesome undiscovered gem until just today. My son and I had a great time. Honestly, I was entertained just watching his expressions! It was surprising to see elk, buffalo, water buffalo, zebra, fox, monkeys, fallow deer, doves, ostrich, long horns, parrots, and countless hybrid herd animals so close to my home city. This place is maintained by people who obviously care about the 'pets', anyone is able to hand feed nearly everything they have along the wagon ride. The gargantuan antlers and horns in such close proximity was QUITE EXCITING! I definitely recommend this place for a Zoo type experience on a budget. Take a bottle of water, its not a short ride (40 minutes is my best guess).
Simon Terry King — Google review
I've been going there for three summers in a row and every time it's so much fun, the interaction with the different animals is amazing! Don't forget the wagon ride!
Anya — Google review
We had the best time at Dutch Creek Farm! The animals were interactive and seemed happy and well taken care of. My husband grew up on a farm and was so happy to see this. Our 3 year old loved being able to pet all of the animals. The wagon ride was most definitely the highlight. I was shocked that food for the animals is included.
Theresa Seitz — Google review
The price was reasonable especially for what you get it included entry into the farm a ride on the wagon to see a lot of the large animals, a big thing of food to feed while you're out there the wagon driver tells you all about the animals as you go and stops often so that you can feed them a lot of the animals will eat out of your hands and even let you pet them. Do they have lots of animals and pens that you can go into most of and pet the animals and feed most of them. Pony rides are only five dollars and grandkids loved it. All in all it was a great experience a lot of fun kids really enjoyed themselves. Only one thing I wish they could make a little better was that a lot of the animals did not have a lot of shade so when it was really hot they laid up against the fences or wherever they could to find a little shade and it being a hot day when we went and then the afternoon the water and a lot of the pins were either gone or knocked over. I would definitely recommend the place to have a good time for a reasonable rate where the kids can have a lot of fun
Open-air market & livestock auction with hundreds of vendors selling crafts, clothes & Amish food.
5 stars!! It is worth a visit...or multiple visits. Its quite large with a nice variety of vendors. Its $5 cash for parking and some vendors only take cash, so plan ahead. If you need more while there, you can use the atm by the food court.

This was a unique stop. The number of racist items on display at some of the booths, while not a surprise, was disappointing. The booths we did frequent had friendly staff and interesting items to look at. We purchased some freeze dried peach rings, they are delicious. We also purchased some Michigan strawberries and ate a bunch of them walking back to the car, wonderful for a summer afternoon. We recommend stopping.

Some people might totally enjoy going here..but inclement weather could change your mind.
Alot of vendors and stalls...some better than others...mostly all rows are pretty repeated things..
Womens bathrooms were fairly clean...made me think of a milking parlor...cement floors and big steel stall doors..haha..
But ya gotta use a restroom..
Parking is $5 a car..
Plenty of parking..
Just plan on walking..a LOT..

Went today and I had a great time! But the Pokémon cards were FAKE. One dollar each pack, seems like a great deal, realistically they are fake. Disappointed because I spent four dollars for 40 fake cards. You can tell that they are fake by the font at the top. The left is the fake, the right is the real.

The pandemic really hit this place hard. I expected to see more amish folk and naturally made goods but was basically greeted by what I could find in my own neighborhood. While there were some stations that gave an amish experience, it had been very much americanized. Lots of vacant booths period the highlight of my trip what's going to yoders to get my amish butter and chicken and to the finer diner for the vanilla insulted caramel swirl cone. Those two things alone would make me take the trip again easily.

When we visit the flea market, we always try to get there at opening. There are a ton of different vendors and products. It is so large that I can't walk the entire thing in one day, plan on a couple of trips, it is worth it.
One of the vendors I visit is Pat's Pies. His Hand Pies and cookies are scrumptious 😋
Last trip my sister and I both purchased a hand zoodler. I can't wait to use it!
The bathrooms are clean and centrally located.
There are many different entrances from the parking lot which makes locating your vehicle at the end of your day easier, plus if you have a lot of packages it means less traipsing through the parking lot.

There were constructions everywhere. We couldn't find the entrance. I wish there would be more stands and their prices for all could be more like fea market. Nevertheless, we still found some good deals. Nice to spare 2-3 hours for the afternoon.

What a fantastic place to purchase local goods. Most of the prices are fair, some are still a bit pricey but cool stuff!

If you bypass the main strip, and take a right and head towards the buildings in the back row, you will find more unique items, custom wood items, wooden spoons with dog breeds on them, so many things. The main area is basically the same bags and shirts, not too much to see. And next time, I am heading to the back rows, I feel like we missed alot out there, by the time you walk through everything, the best posts are closing, as it is the end of the day.
For the area and what it is I always have a great time! I love all the great plays & shows offered. If you stay at the Blue Gate Hotel it's got a great package deal to enjoy a night away. Have authentic Amish dining, a show & a nice stay did I mention shopping and just lots of cute photo ops everywhere!! Do not come on Sunday everything is basically closed!!🙏🙌❤

We cannot get enough of this place. A gem in such a small, beautiful and peaceful community. Fabulous shows playing 3-4 days every week of well known groups. We've been driving 2 1/2 hrs one way almost every month for shows we want see. There are so many we want to see we can't do them all but what a great theatre to go to as there are NO bad seats at all. We just got back from seeing Gene Watson and Eagles tribute in which both were phenomenal!!! Ricky Scaggs show so good we want see him again!
Blue Gate restaurant is where we eat and cannot get enough of it. It's the only place we want to eat at while visiting!!! A must go to place!

Went to see the Rush Tribute Project. The theater was great. The music was awesome. My only gripe was that now they serve alcohol. The drunks were obnoxious and constantly getting up and bothering us non-drinkers. I took my 15 year old son to the concert, and he said if they serve alcohol at the next concert, he's not going, nor will I.

Best buffet ever. It always tastes great. They have a salad bar with fresh made bread. A desert bar with numerous selections. The main course always has the best chicken. Along with mashed potatoes, veggies, sides, and several other meats. Up stairs, you need to go to their bakery and load up on tasty treats.

We visited the all-you-can eat buffet in the same building as the shows, but did not see a show. The buffet was good - but not great. Some of the advertised offerings (in our case turkey and dressing) we're missing.
I certainly understand why, however, given that we were early to dine, there wasn't the usual crowd, and, even in Amish country, it's hard to find help in a pandemic.
The wait staff, as always, were very kind, attentive, and gracious.

The show I went to see gets five stars. What I’m upset about is that women are NOT allowed to bring in a purse, nothing bigger than 4 x 6. Really? I need to carry certain items with me at all times, like heart meds and inhaler. They need to review this nonsensical policy.

My first time at this venue and during my visit, I saw two different shows. Very convenient to where I camped.
The venue is fairly small, 1500 I read, and all seats are quite good. They do have a bag policy so check that info before going. But because it's small, it's a short walk if you do need to get to your car to leave things. Lots of guitars and hats from previous performers, a concession, too. For the 2 shows I saw, guests were alowed to bring food or drinks inside, which I thought was very nice. That way you don't miss any of the show or have a line during intermission.
Darlene Frederick — Google review
Very nice venue for a concert. Good sound, screens to see the perfomer, pleasant staff. What brings the rating down is their new policy restricting even small purses. It is very inconvenient. I saw older people walking with canes back to their cars who were carrying nothing bigger than a wallet! Did something happen there??? Also, the dinner package includes dinner at the restaurant that is about a mile away. They bigger problem than the fact that dining is in a different location is the fact that they do not prioritize dinner/theater guests. So, for a 7:30 show they recommend that you get there between 11a and 5p. If you get there around 5, you will definitely have a wait.
All and all......we would go here again, but it is not convenient, especially in bad weather.

Saw Marie Osmond here. Wow the stage is the perfect size & there's plenty of seating for hundreds of not a thousand.
Suzi Noble — Google review
Loved the artist we saw. The sound was great. Venue was clean. Adequate parking. Seats are roomy with good leg room. Here's my complaint... I set an alarm to make sure I was in front of my computer to buy good seats for this concert. I paid for the good seats. And yet, security did nothing about the people who crammed themselves up by the stage and in the aisles. So instead of 2nd row, I had more like 6th row. See photo for context. Next time, I'll buy the cheapest seats and just cram myself in front of the first row if this is the behavior they allow. Would also like to add, handicapped patrons couldn't see anything over the people standing at the front.

Ate at the buffet lunch and then saw The Christmas Candy Caper, a play.
The food was delicious with many choices including a salad bar with soup, a warm dish area with nain dishes and a dessert area and ice cream machine.
The play lasted 90 minutes and was very interesting. It was set in an Amish candy store owned by Sadie. She loves to play practical jokes and like the boy who cried wolf, it came back to haunt her.

What a GREAT music venue! 1500 seats, and not a bad one in the place. The sound system was finely tweaked, and was not muddy or overly loud. There was a full house to see Brothers of the Heart, and everyone enjoyed the full 2-hour show. The quartet stayed around and greeted everyone who wanted a picture or autograph- a big plus that larger venues usually don't accommodate. There's lots of paved parking and hotel rooms nearby, so we walked from our hotel to the concert. We highly recommend enjoying a show here!

We slid in for the last tour of the day and our whole family loved every minute of it. Mr. Fredrick greeted us and checked us out. He was so kind and so was our tour guide Mr. Al. He was patient and informative. The tour was rich in engaging history that truly captivated your attention in each room. We plan to go back and soak up a bit more that we missed. We paid $16 for our family. Such a great price for all it entails. We came away with such a better understanding of the Mennonites, Hutterites, and Amish. Unexpectedly, we even left encouraged and it honestly challenged our faith to shed the noise of the world and simply seek and reflect Christ more purely. Go...you wont be disappointed!!!

One of the surprising things about our Elkhart stay was taking in all of the Amish culture, food, products! If you want to learn all about the culture, this is the place to go. You are ushered from room to room with displays/video teaching about the Amish/ Mennonite /Anabaptist culture. After the several rooms, there are more artifacts and a couple of theaters as well. We spent about an hour on the tour and had a great time. Definitely recommend if you are interested in the culture. If this review has helped you, please give it a thumbs up.

Great museum! I loved this place. I learned quite a bit about the Anabaptist sects. I spent about 2.5 hours here. I read just about everything. Small note: It's pretty heady for young kids. They have some interactive things for kids, but it's really designed for adults and those who really want to learn about the Anabaptist movement.

Nine lakes for boating, fishing & swimming, plus hiking trails, nature center, campgrounds & cabins.
One of our favorite state parks. Lots of trails and…well there is a literal chain of lakes to canoe, kayak, or whatever…
Camp store is great and camp ground is well kept.
Top tip, if it’s wet or may rain take a bail of straw or pine chips to soak up some water. Some camp sites are low and will hold some water.

Loved this park. Evaluating from a hiking perspective but also look forward to spending time in a kayak here as well. I hiked trail 4 and really enjoyed the scenery. Stands of old pine, moderate elevation changes and pretty lake views. It’s cool to see how the lakes connect from various vantage points.

A great place to visit to get away! We came for a weekday getaway in a cabin, and it was fabulous. Cabin 18 was well secluded with only one cabin nearby (about 75 yards away). It was a 2 minute walk to a nice little playground, perfect for our 4.5 year old! Beautiful hikes, a neat little school house to visit (lots of programs if you go on the weekend!).
Our stay was quite due to the time of year and being the weekday. We didn't try any water features (other than beautiful views during the hikes! But they have a beach, canoeing and kayaking, and great set up foe fishing, either by boat (easy access boat ramps) or piers.
Lots of little places to host a family gathering.
Would highly recommend!

We stayed in the campground and paddled the 9 Lake Challenge. The campsite was a good size and clean. We took a 2 mile hike on a well maintained trail. The paddling challenge was a lot of fun. The DNR staff were friendly and informative. All of the lakes are nice, except Mud Lake, which is overgrown with water weeds. Very difficult to paddle through that section. That's just nature. Each lake is quiet and unique. The paddling challenge took about 5 hours including a leisurely lunch on Sand Lake. We had a great time and would recommend it.

We had a great time. The park was rather quiet for so many people. There was plenty of sun and water to go around. The only thing that left me feeling unsatisfied was the fishing. I tried for hours only to snag one. My fish finder showed very little structure under the water. I would suggest dropping some fallen trees in the lakes to keep the fish from constantly traveling.

Love this state park. Campground is run well and overall the whole property is very well maintained. Nice beach area and a place to rent kayaks and other small boats. The water levels were very low so attempting to kayak the whole 9 lakes was too hard this go around as we had to get out or push through 1-3 inches of water multiple times inbetween the lakes. This isn't the property's fault ... just stinks the water was low when we went. Overall, absolutely love this park with PLENTY to do and enjoy the great outdoors!!

It's a great little getaway from Fort Wayne with lots to do there. The beach is sandy and cleaned often. The school house museum is fun. There are a variety of trails. Lots of people canoe or kayak and with the water levels being high, it's easy to go between the chained lakes. The cabins are a swanky option to tent camping.

The trails were great well maintained and absolutely my favorite part..We stayed at the Campgrounds and it was a pleasant experience everyone respected the quiet time and the park was clean and well taken care of. I love how they have Canoe and kayak rentals. Definitely some where I will visit again and tell adventurous souls such as myself about this special place. The campgrounds is Dog friendly and I had no problem with anyone's pets. The restrooms were clean and even the vault toilets were well taken care of. The Park had plenty of picnic areas you could hike to or paddle to if you wanted .. I was very happy with how many picnic tables were in places you could go to , to get away for a picnic for 2. If your in the Area definitely give this place a visit!

If you enjoy canoeing, kyaking, hiking, or swimming, this is an awesome park to visit. Trails are nice and spacious. You just have to worry about mud if there has been a lot of rain. The park has a lot of wild flowers, onions, and red bud trees as well as rivers throughout. It is very pretty in the spring. There's plenty of wildlife as well. Even saw a beaver last time I went. Pick the right time to go, and it's never very crowded either, which is nice.

We went kayaking here. It's a really neat place. Lots of places to park, several trails, a nice campground, and the kayaking is pretty cool. You can spend as much or as little time as you want on the water. We got there later so we didn't spend too much time but met some people who went from one end to the other and back and were on the water 9+ hours. We are planning to go back when we can spend more time there.

The pictures on the website do not do it justice. This beautiful park has everything! The lakes and streams in between allow you to paddle from one lake to the next. The hiking paths have incredible biodiversity, especially in flora. The campground was clean with a lot of tall, shady trees. Our family, which included 2 teens loved this park.

Staff did well with busy weekend and were very kind. Lakes were beautiful and kayaking was a must. Even as a first time kayaker I was able to pick it up easily and equipment was easy to use. I recommend getting to the boat/kayak rentals early as they are not up for reservations and during busy season it can be hard to get one. Such a beautiful experience!

First time at Chain o Lakes this past weekend. I thought the park was very nice with lots of things to do. I stayed on one of the rustic sites and was happy with it, site 109. The site was described as full shade but that was before the big tree off to the side was taken down. Now there is a new little tree planted in its place so you get the morning sun a little bit. Pictures were taken before the crowds came in. Nice camp store. The bathrooms, shower rooms and pit toilets need to be flattened and rebuilt. Indiana needs to do what Michigan is doing and spend some of the American recovery act money on their state parks. With this park only being an hour and a half away, I can see me going back again. It was a grocery store in town called Village Foods and they had a nice size bundle of wood for $3.50. The camp store charged $6.50

This is a gorgeous campground with access to many lakes, nice beach and picnic areas. More than 400 camp sites (majority with electric service but water is accessible at stations) but some infrastructure (mainly washrooms or pit toilets) are almost as bad as those toilets in the Trainspotting movie (costing them a star!) We took site 24, very large site close to the trail leading to the beach. You can rent canoes and kayaks and many folks were fishing. We were hit by severe thunderstorms on July 20 and some sites (see pic of site #22) ended up flooded, so choose your site wisely! Wood is available at decent price ($6.50) as well as ice ($2.50 or $5.00). Store has a lot to offer in terms of camping material and basic food. Dogs are welcome but I have to say that it gets loud sometimes. Finally nice playgrounds for kids.

This place has an amazing amount of trails. You can go 20-30 miles of trails before having to repeat them. Wonderful for trail runs or just hiking.

This was another amazing Indiana State Park. We love these parks!
We went specifically to do the 9 Lake Kayak/Canoe challenge and we completed it in just about 3 hours. The lakes were beautiful, the canals that connect the lakes are rather tricky to find sometimes and have there own “ambiance” (I’ll let you all figure that out on your own) that creates the challenge, but definitely worth it.
They have many hiking trails, no bike trails, that range from easy to rugged. If you have bikes there is a good road all the way around the inside of the park that we were able to e-bike on.
The camp ground was big! Over 400 campsites, including tent sites. We stayed at 128 that sat on the end of a circle. It was very level, a bit tight to back into but once in there was plenty of space. No water or sewer, but electric. Typical of Indiana State Parks. Water hydrant was within 100ish feet of our spot so bring extra water hose. There is one dump-station inside the campground but if you leave the grounds and turn right there we’re two more.
The nature center has some great programs. We sat in on the Snakes Alive presentation and enjoyed it very much. There is a historic school house on the property that was very interesting
Overall, it is in our top 5 IN DNR properties so far!
What a wonderful experience! The staff was very well educated and told us numerous facts about the animals they've rescued. The areas were very well maintained and the gift shop was spectacular!

I love what they are doing for these animals. the people who worked there were very kind and considerate for the residents I had with us that had walkers and they took their time to make sure our group caught up. Thank You so much for the lovely trip and tour!!! definitely need to come back again. only con is I wish we could go at our own pace to fully take in and enjoy seeing the animals(I am a photographer 📸 love taking pictures hehe 💗)

Having visited and volunteered at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary many times over the years, I wholeheartedly recommend it as a destination for people who truly love their furry, feathery, scaly, and shelled fellow beings. This easy-to-walk sanctuary has dozens of uncommon species as permanent residents. It is a rare gem not only for Northern Indiana but for the country. All of the people, from director to keepers to gift shop to volunteers, work long, hard hours because they care deeply, and they've achieved the highest caliber accreditation in existence, GFAS, which is not given to roadside attractions or even most zoos. To visit Black Pine is to have a peaceful experience; schedule a tour to learn about where the animals came from and how exotic animals need to be treated. You'll get to ask questions, learn, and feel connected. Go see how ordinary people stepped up to create an extraordinary place, a sanctuary that is still growing and can become a place you will love, too.

I have lived in Fort Wayne for about 18 years, and it was my first time visiting Black Pine. It was a great, different, wonderful, and educational experience. We would definitely visit again. It was clean and very organized. All the volunteers were very friendly, welcoming, and definitely very well educated about the animals, etc. You could tell they really love what they do and really care about the animals. Loved it and can't wait to go back! Thank you for everything you all do for the animals!

Such a caring and compassionate place.
For those with mobility challenges, there is a lot of walking.
The animals are much closer than at the zoo.
Very nice, well cared for habitats for every one!

Very unique place! Animals normally needing euthanasia are given a place to live their best life for their remaining years. Hard to believe this is in Albion Indiana, but it is and you really should go!

We took the feeding tour. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The animals were eager to come out and eat and curious about the human visitors. Black Pine is a one of kind experience and they are doing a great service to the community and the welfare of the animals they rescue.

Black Pine is an amazing place where animals can live their lives out in peace! It is very interesting learning about all their lives and where they came from. Each animals have a unique story and plus you going on a tour helps support them!

Guided tours through the sanctuary where they tell you about the animals and why they are at the sanctuary. We booked tour online before going and you currently need to wear face masks to protect the animals from getting Covid. They have a small gift shop also. Tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the animals. Lots of different animals to see. Would recommend if you are in the area.
Sizable, contemporary event facility & museum of the RV & manufactured-housing industry.
This is a self guided tour, so you can look at your leisure. There are so many fun facts, great displays, and they are adding new things for future tours. Having the opportunity to step back in time and also seeing current things was amazing. My husband and I decided to just stop in for a quick weekend getaway- this wasn’t at all what I expected in a very positive way! This is something for an audience of all ages. You get reading, exercise, and education. They offer some of the campers to tour inside, so you will get a hands on experience of different time periods. I wish I would’ve taken more pictures and will provide the few that I did take for reference.

Fun for our whole family. Twin 5 year olds had a blast going in all the campers, old and new. We had fun as adults too. Kids 5 and under were free, so that was nice. We spent about an hour and a half here. We were the only ones the whole time.. had the place to ourselves.

I really enjoyed this museum, many very interesting exhibits from early 1900s to present day RVs as well as Manufactured Homes. There were also numerous informative videos on various related topics dotted around the museum including a theatre dedicated to the introductory video. Well worth a visit.

Huge museum you can spend hours inside if you dnt feel like reading everything you can still spend a long time inside just looking at all the different versions and years and ways they moved forward and in some ways behind. They had clean bathrooms a very good sized gift shop you can buy souvenirs at. A huge parking lot for any rigs that might be being towed, to those who want to visit. Parking has no shortage. Expect to spend about a half a day inside.

So glad we scheduled it in. Staff was so friendly and I got to see my all-time favorites inside and out (Winnie Brave & GMC Safari).
We only had time for the lower levels so we plan on coming back at least once more.

The front receptionist, and the front image of the place, seemed upset we were visiting. Not a friendly reception, not a smile, not a welcome to…, just a cashier attitude asking how many tickets, we were me and my wife, dumb question.
As for the place, was ok, nice history of RV’s.
Honestly, that ugly feeling of being unwelcome, kills all what is there to look. I’m the kind of person that when that happens, I turn around and leave.
My wife was the one that told me not to pay attention and keep going.
Sorry, getting this survey refreshed my memory about that moment.

Very interesting displays, showing where the rv industry started to almost where we are today (probably 10-15 years ago).
I think $20 is a little high for admission.

Neat to see the old time RVs. This industry has come a long way. The lighting in this place should be improved. The clamp silver work lights don’t offer the best lighting for photos. We enjoyed our visit, but I think this place could make some improvements that would better show off their collection. There were a lot of great RV stories. The collection of toy RVs were really neat too.

Absolutely loved the place. I was here 10 years ago and it's even better today. I loved seeing the classic RVs. They are so well displayed and easy to view. I enjoyed the mobile home area. That is something I don't know much about and there is a lot of overlooked history there.

We had a great time! Perfect for our 4 and 5 year olds and convenient for us. The pool area and hotel were very clean. The room was very nice and comfortable. Staff in both areas were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the food was kept hot. Price was fair and you can get a discount signing up with rewards through Marriott. We will definitely be returning for frequent overnight mini-vacations as we live only 2 hours away.

I've been calling there for several months and the water park is still closed. I doubt the arcade is up and running yet either. I've been really wanting to take my Kids there but unfortunately after this long and always getting excuses about the water park needing parts and they still haven't came in yet tells me that it's more than likely never going to reopen. Everything I call whichever month it is they always say they expect it to be ready at the end of the month. Yeah okay! Also management doesn't answer emails

I was super hesitant after reading a lot of pretty bad reviews but here's the facts, based on our experience in August 2018 on a Saturday:
1. Plenty of towels UNTIL approx 3pm. See photo of empty towel rack at 330
2. Water was indeed cool in the slide half. Too cold for me but we were there so our 11 and 13 year old could have fun and they didnt complain.
3. Water on the baby half was really nice and warm. We all played in it for a while. My sons really had a blast.
4. I agree that the hot tub wasn't super hot.
5. I am HAPPY kids aren't allowed in hot tub. Kids get to play in the entire place, let the adults have 8 feet of peace.
6. Kids loved the slides. Even hubby went down a bunch of times.
7. There is NOT food. they told us we are welcome to bring our own and eat upstairs. Theres a subway and taco bell right across the street! What could be better than taco bell IN a water park?!
8. All of the games worked. They did run out of tickets while we were playing
9. Staff was super nice.
10. There were several lifeguards plus front desk staff. They were all attentive. We did see a guard jump in the water to help a child and the female guard even gave my son a push to get him going fast down the lazy river. I thought this was super cool.
11. Bathrooms were fine.
12. No problem getting a locker.
13. I would absolutely go back.

The place is completely shutdown. They told us for renovations but there was not a single renovation going on. Still charged three hundred a night. No cleaning service as well. The staff was the only good thing there. They are all completely wonderful but whoever owns this thing is using covid to the extreme to make money and provide no services. Other hotels in the area at least have a pool open and are serving hot breakfasts. Look around, better hotels in the area offering more.
Dan Buehrer — Google review
I enjoyed the waterpark opening back up. It was a total blast. My only complaint is the fact that the kids water and lazy river water was colder than my liking honestly. Definitely want to come back just want the water to be warmer. I strongly urge that be handled and adjusted accordingly.

Coffee is horrible with grounds in it.
Update 2-23-24
The hotels management spoke with me about the issues I seen.
They are taking the issues seriously.
The coffee is 100% better
Also the other issues are being dealt with.
I was actually pretty pleased that Sam took me aside to let me know that he takes the issues personally and is working to fix them.
The coffee was a great start Sam thank you.

The website has almost no information, and calling sends you to a call center most of the time. The water park itself was lots of fun with plenty to do. My kids, ages 7 to 12, had a great time. The staff was attentive, the water temperature was good, and there were not too many people there. I thought the lighting was a little dim, the bathrooms needed attention, and the parking lot was pretty run down. Overall, I think it was a good trip and worth it, but the place could use a little more attention to really be spectacular.

Pretty cool for what it is, it's mainly for children. They do have a Jacuzzi for adults , little arcade. Pretty small, they have two slides that are pretty nice. They do run out of towels rather quickly, and they only have so many inner tubes, beyond that it was pretty fun. when coming to a place like this you can't be over critical , you're not paying $200 a night

My wife and I booked a king suite for us and our 1 year old daughter for Saturday to Sunday night. It was almost perfect for a quick trip. We got to check in early at 2:00 o clock, and had all day passes to the water park. The water park was great for my 1 year old. We went down the slides together, and I went down the big ones a couple times. Definitely for kids, so expect them to be there and it be loud. I thought it was a perfect little spot. Hotel room was nothing spectacular, but the hotel staff is very helpful and very kind. Breakfast was very good for being free. Couldn’t of really asked for a better trip. My only flaw is the location doesn’t have much around it. Basically Taco Bell, and Casey’s Gas Station. Also the room didn’t have a microwave, so had to go to the lobby for babies bottle. I would HIGHLY recommend this is if you kids, they will absolutely love the water park. Get the room and park package, it’s a fantastic deal for what you get.
By the way the water park was very clean from what I could tell, which was a biggie for us.

The price is good for the experience. But the lifeguards are on their phones the whole time. No one is enforcing any rules. My kid is pretty responsible at 9 she mentioned that they let kids go down head first and under the height requirements (which she thought was great haha) If you are an attentive parent this is great. But if you want a place where you can read while the kids have fun this is not the place. No one is paying any attention.
Amanda Schuitema — Google review
This is a hidden gem! It was wonderful and there’s so much for the kids to do. We enjoyed the water slides & especially the lazy river. The Cafe wasn’t open despite it being a busy weekend (went in January, 2020). Nicely located and adjoins to the hotel. The hotel had a really nice breakfast that was included and had a full array of breakfast food & beverages. I didn’t care for the pool life jackets and would probably see if you can bring your own for smaller kids.

This place is very cozy, clean and safe. The facility is small and perfect for our family. The manager greeted us with a smiling face and respectfully and kindly reminded each family of the rules before entering, which I REALLY appreciated. He walked through the facility speaking to families, employees and did safety checks. The water temperature was great, warm for the kids and the big pool is not even 4ft so my kids could swim without floaties. The only thing I was disappointed with was the jacuzzi and that was because max temperature was 100 degrees. I am sure there is some stipulation, not a huge deal. We'll be back for sure.

We gave it 1 more shot. The restrooms were VERY unsanitary, the water was cold and the hot tub was gross. I purchased a "session" that indicated 5-8:30 in my email confirmation and after an hour drive was told 5:30 was the session start time so employees could have a break. We left an hour after arrival. 30 minutes in the lazy river was a 75 dollar lesson learned. I hope they work out the kinks but we'll not return. Best of luck to them.

So disappointed that no one bothered to mention that the park that lists only being open until 6 online but we were told that it was open til 8 at the entrance failed to mention it would be shutting down for an hour 5 minutes after we entered the water. With a 6 year old granddaughter with behavioral problems this was a way bigger deal than it was for my teens. When I pointed out to the girls collecting tubes the blonde girl was tremendously condescending rather than acknowledging that yes, we should have been told that. And the family room package is supposed to include a fold out couch in the room which was mysteriously missing.

We went for their "spring break special". We made reservations and requested joining rooms. Then called to make sure it was possible. Also called the day of our reservation, still good to go at that point. We had 2 adults and 7 kids. When we arrive they had totally messed up our reservations and there were no joining rooms available/ clean because house keeping left for the day. So they shuffled some things around and gave us rooms across the hall from each other. No biggie. That evening we went to dinner and notice that they charged us for a 3rd room. And when we spoke to the guy at the desk, he just wanted to gaslight us and tell us we messed up our reservations. I offered to show him the confirmation emails for the rooms to prove it wasn't our fault but he didn't wanna see them. To compensate they offered the kids a few free snacks. Also, when we called the said we get all day passes to the Waterpark on date of check out. Welp we got kicked out at 1pm. Place is marginal at best. We won't go back. You can't check in til 4pm Waterpark closes at 8pm. Waste of time and money.

Cannot check in until exactly 3 p.m. rooms are clean. Not enough food for the free breakfast, they brought out limited supplies. They kept running out 1 hour into it. Didn't have enough pool towels. Management rude. Bathrooms were not cleaned the whole time we were there. Our bathroom, in room, smelled like a gas leak happened, in the middle of the night. Seems like they just didn't care

The new management is pretty awesome. Our stay initially started with some rocky areas. We had some complications with our room, and we had to notify management. They took our concerns very seriously. They seemed like they cared and did what they could to make our stay feel comfortable. At first, I was a little hesitant about coming back, but now, knowing the kindness that the staff exemplifies, my family and I will be making a return visit soon. Kids loved to water park. Thanks, Peachtree staff! And thank you, Sam! You are an awesome guy, and I'm glad the hotel is in your care.

This place is horrible! Absolutely terrible not worth the money and here is why
Slide are rarely open, the water is nasty. Unsupervised kiddos doing cannon balls in the hot tub, never any towels so dont forget to bring your own, the pre-teens they have hired to run the desk are all rude, definitely wont be coming back !

The indoor waterpark would have been fun if it wasn't soooooo cold!!! The air was chilly and the water was cold! We quickly figured out the reason for it. Under what looked like a painted garage door was a pretty big crack where the cold outdoor air came in freely. I took pictures. Hopefully they will fix it, otherwise it's not worth going there.

Staff seems confused about what 8s t9 be done. The front desk says one thing, and the staff for Waterpark says another. The water park was clean, but the bathrooms frequently had no tolite paper. They did stop all.play for an hr every 3 hours to clean. Rooms were good-sized and well put together. Bathroom needs work. The floor and shower wall were cracked and rust from what must have been a leak on the frame of the door. Staff was super courteous.

This place looks really cool! I was pretty excited to check it out. All of the nicely built structures and layout really entices a person. Then frustration kicked in. There are no workers around. The only person I found outside didn't speak any English. He walked me from the back of the lot to the front and handed me off to another guy. That guy told me where to go but refused to join me on my trek.
I find what I am looking for and there no carts... anywhere. Another woman in the area complaining about there being no carts. I walk all the way to the front and get a cart... and it doesn't push on the gravel path. I watch an elderly lady struggling with her cart. Screw it, I walk to the back and carry the tree to the checkout while dodging boards with nails in the middle of the path. I move the board off the path and turn it upside down so no one steps on it. Onward to the checkout - no one is there.
Screw it, I bring the tree inside. This is awkward to navigate through the narrow isle and people blocking the path. The girl at the counter is a little huffy and asks why I didn't checkout outside... oh girl, you are killing me.
I'm hot, sweaty, a little gross, and a bit upset and uncertain if I will ever return. The cool factor might be a trick to sucker people into a visit.

Garden center, decorations, gift shop, and cafe with a lot of charm in Elkhart. The large shop contains a large variety of holiday decoration and knickknacks. There’s a large garden center indoor/outdoor that’s decorated like a small town. Curiosity’s and topiary’s abound outside. There’s also a petting zoo and a variety of Childers activities for purchase.
The cafe has a good size menu of sandwiches and some entrees. The food was great and staff were very friendly.

Neat place to take the littles. We rode the train and fed the animals at the petting zoo. It was fun but not sure if I would go out of my way to come here again just for the kids. I would however return for myself for the home decor and garden aspect. I found a beautiful Mother Mary statue as well as a butterfly rock to add to my rock garden at home. I took off one star due to the very expensive cafe. One sandwich was $15! I could not believe it. I did however order a caramel milkshake for my 2 daughters and the ladies were kind enough to split it into 2 smaller cups for them.

Linton's Is one of those hidden in plain sight gems that you might not know exist. We made a whole family trip out of going just to Linton's. We were able to feed the animals, pan for our own gems, and play on the playground equipment. Everyone is always so nice and knowledgeable if you are in the market for any of their plants. They do events throughout the year to bring in families such as Santa Claus greetings and car shows. I would highly recommend for anyone in this area who has never been.

We went there on the 30th of May 2021 and we enjoyed it. The strategy of putting some attractions in a business does work...and they did a very good job. Adults and children alike are having a good time while mommies and grannies are choosing their plants and souvenirs to buy. Shopping and enjoyment goes together.
The Chocolate Garden is a charming boutique truffle shop located near the interstate and wineries. They offer an impressive selection of handmade chocolates, including delectable truffles made with Michigan wine from Contessa Wine Cellars. These mouth-watering treats have gained recognition from the Food Network and Midwest Living magazine. Visitors can enjoy a fun tasting experience for just $2.99 and choose from various themed packs of 2, 6, 9, 16, or 36 truffles.
Fun boutique truffle shop just south of the interstate past the wineries. It's on the left and watch for the sign. Inside is an impressive array of truffle flavors. You can buy sample cut up slices for tasting, which is a good idea. Also the truffles are very richly flavored so cutting and sharing with friends is a good idea later too. They come in themed packs of 2, 6, 9, 16 and 36. The hot chocolate is thick, like a European style. We had a fun time and it was a good stretch after driving a few hours to/from Chicago. Enjoy!

The truffles were amazingly smooth and flavorful. You're looking at paying a nice chunk for them though. Unfortunately the atmosphere was not very inviting. We were treated like we were a bother to the staff instead of brand new visitors. We quickly made our purchase and left.

The chocolate tasted wonderful, the place had beautiful scenery, and the staff was extremely friendly.
However, it was pretty expensive, and I was expecting more variety based on the billboards - it was mostly just truffles and chocolate coffeeish drinks.

Inviting place, great truffles and coffee. A nice place to stop on a long trip. Great but pricy.
Andre Bouravnev — Google review
The truffles are fantastic. The quality is very high and the flavors are unique. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Only complaints: 1) it's definitely on the pricier end. 2) wish they had an option to build your own box and 3) there are only truffles, it would be nice to have other chocolate options at the Chocolate Garden.
Wesley Christman — Google review
Cute store front, very well-organized store, very friendly and helpful employees who made our experience at their store so much fun! The truffles are amazing....I would definitely recommend spending the $2.99 for the tasting! While this is not a criticism, but my hope for future trips to the Chocolate Garden, I would it if they would offer customers the opportunity to mix and match their own combinations of truffles. Other than that, I will definitely be back when I am up in the area!!
Deborah Soderquist — Google review
First of all, the name is misleading. As others have pointed out, the selection is literally only truffles, and a select few flavors. Not what I would expect from a "garden" of chocolate. The store also stocks several tables with the same flavors so as to give the appearance of selection. And if you don't care to pay $3 per truffle, then this place is not for you. For all those billboards and hype, I didn't think it was worth it. During my visit, I got the cayenne kick and the orange ginger truffles. I did really enjoy the cayenne kick truffles (and it is a good, delicious kick). The orange ginger truffles tasted dirt-like, and I love ginger so not sure what was going on there. The staff members were pretty meh on the customer service. The surrounding area has many fun options (delicious wine, amazing tacos, fun kid activities), but I would probably not include the chocolate garden in my "must see" places.
Lauren H. Logan — Google review
Fantastic artisan chocolate unlike any other I have tried. Not a fan of truffles but I hadn't tried the truffles here. The secret is they are not encased in a hard Chocolate shell, which is my least favorite part of other truffles. The tasting bar for $3 is a steal. This visit is good for less than 30 people at a time. If you are in your car, be SURE to turn in here.
Smaller, lodgelike nightspot with slots & some table games plus a fast-food grill & deli with a bar.
I love Four Winds Dowagiac. It's the perfect size and it's about an hour from our home. They make the best cheeseburgers too! We've used the excuse to go for a cheeseburger then gamble a little!

Nice an i recommend I'd u hate the big casino's to check out this one. It's not massive but it's not lacking anything
Brandy Bixby — Google review
Absolutely horrible, go planning on losing every last dime you are willing to spend. I sware they flip the winning switch off at this one because it's about like going into a nursing home, what goes in isn't coming back out. Pretty much spend your time having the place filled with more employees than players that stand and stare at you like you are out of place. I just personally don't ever or know anybody that goes here that ever has good luck. Gambling is dumb no matter what but this casino trumps them all for me as the worst possible outcome possible in my experience.
Eric Krull — Google review
A nice "little" Casino off the beaten path. Having been to Four Winds New Buffalo, South Bend and Hartford, I had to try Dowagiac. Reminds me more of a "Gambling Hall" than a full sized casino, machines were new but few and bathrooms clean. You definitely won't get lost here.

I'm here with my girlfriend 100 bucks down the drain. I bet the max one time and won 15 CENTS. Michigan state law is there supposed to payout well not here. So please don't go to four winds casinos. Give your money to the homeless or kids that need it. Also they charged me 4.50 for bacon on my burger and didn't even put bacon on it. Place is always trying to rip you off

Actually won a little bit of money the last time we were there. Nice small casino that's not crowded. However does seem to have a smell that's unpleasant

It's pretty small, but it's nice when your money doesn't go in 30 minutes. And a really good bonus when you win! Never happened at this location for me, so I know my late Fiancé was making sure my friend and I were truly celebrating him with some extra money.

Clean, nice they have an Indoor smoking room. People were friendly. Machines don't pay well and they are tight as can be.

Even though it's smaller than the other four winds and it only has one restaurant I always have a good time there and my money seems to last a little longer.

The dealers were friendly and explained and helped me with the card game(3 card poker). The girls' serving drinks came by often to see if I needed anything. And the restrooms are clean. And I left with a little more than I came wih.

Usually just go for sports betting. Would have given them 5* but One time one of my bet slips failed to print, and as soon as I called they fixed the problem. Happened again and they said it was impossible to look into which it was a $2 bet in between the slips I had but I didn't feel like arguing over what would have been a max win of under $50. I didn't end up hitting anyway but it was the principle of the whole thing. Staff is great, and the bold coffee lets just say plan on being awake that night lol. Also I wish they would go back to the thicker paper on the bet slips, any type of moisture and they are ruined beyond recognition. It is literally transparent thinner than tracing paper. So keep in an airtight place away from direct sunlight if you like betting on sports furtures...lol

I always have a great time. I'm not a huge gambler but it's nice to get away now and then. Just a nice little "me" time location.
I won tonight!! When I accidentally left my Player's card in a machine, I was happy to know that I could easily get a new one. By the way (fun fact): If a Player's card is found on the floor it gets shredded immediately. Also; watch your "change" tickets because they have a 90-day expiration date, which I didn't know, so I wanted to pass that along to anyone reading this!!!

The staff is very friendly. I used to be pretty lucky there, but over the last year I have not had much luck at tables or machines. The place seems pretty quiet lately, so maybe others are feeling the same. Not much luck here. I went just recently, again, lost every hand and did not hit much on their machines. I had a food voucher and now they even charge you $2 for to go orders. I felt like that was pretty petty considering how expensive their food it. I got one more time to go for a concert in NB and after that Im done going. Its not even fun anymore.

Wellfield Botanic Garden is a remarkable creation of highly skilled landscape architects. What was water, tall pasture type grass and trees has been transformed into waterfalls, stepping stones across a stream, rocky textural hills and colorful plantings that delight the eye at every turn. If you stop on the arch of a bridge in front of the S-shaped waterfall, you will lift your eyes to gaze at the length of the large pond which is the background for much of the garden, reflecting the sky and flanked by trees, shrubs, flowers, sculptures and small tasteful structures that enhance the imagination. I found it hard to tear my eyes away from the scene in front of me, and move on. The children's garden has masses of wildflowers, its own tiny outside theater and more. Adults will find it appealing, too.

Wellfield out did themselves this year. The lights were spectacular. Well worth the visit. Make sure to purchase your tickets before you get there to avoid waiting.

This has now been my second year I went here. Nice to see they are adding to the garden all together but I did notice more light displays compared to last year also! I love the area where you can grab a cup of hot coco, even add liquor if you like, and listen to the Christmas music from the "dj booth" that you can hear through the whole park! If your feeling a little chill, they have multiple fire pit stops along the way to warm up. If you really take the time to look and enjoy and stop at the coco stand and some fire places. It's a good hour or 2 of family fun!

Had a nice walk around the pond and seeing all the flowers. It is taste fully laid out on where the flowers are planted. Was relaxing and no rush to get done. They have a few statues to see. Many small bridges to go over. Have places for you to sit and listen to the water. If a member of any botanic gardens you get in free or with a membership to there other wise its $10 each adult.

My family and I came here the other night to check out the Christmas lights before they close for the season and it was a wonderful experience. I’ll def be back in the summer to check out the gardens too!

Even more so, the garden itself.
It has an amazing array of plants and flowers. The setting is so picturesque with the river. All the vignettes are so welcoming. Each one seems to say "Come on in, sit down and stay awhile!"
Thanks for building this lovely place right in the middle of Elkhart.

The Christmas lights were good. The baby really enjoyed the time there. One thing I will say is that there is not alot of room to walk around groups of people who like to just stand around and talk. But I understand that's not the usual experience here. Most of the year it's a nice open place where you're free to walk in any direction you want to. I've been here multiple times and I genuinely enjoyed it every time.

Great venue that I have had the pleasure of visited several times, as they have the good taste of scheduling Collin Raye. It is in a location that is easy to get to, and designed in the round, so there are no bad seats. The acoustics are really good here, the seats comfortable, pictures are allowed. They have a nice lobby, with adult beverages, and bathrooms with enough stalls that you are not waiting for lengthy periods.

The Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts is a really unique and fun setting for professional theater performances. We started going last year and have enjoyed multiple performances here!
The “in the round” seating provides good views for all. And the production team and directors try to ensure all four sections get the attention of the cast throughout the shows.
Creative use of the overhead “fly space” was great and sets have to be rethought to accommodate the non-existent stage wings. So productions don’t have a huge set usually, but often reimagine the story in ways that work well in this space.
Recommendation is to go see any show possible at this fantastic regional theater. And keep the arts ALIVE!!

First visit to the Wagon Wheel since coming with my parents when I was probably 10 or 12. We had a wonderful time with our granddaughters seeing the Little Mermaid. We were very impressed with the entire experience. The performers were excellent, staging, lighting, and especially Crew seemed flawless. It’s so nice to have an intimate venue and wonderful performing arts here in Indiana. Doesn’t look like there is a bad seat in the place.

Wonder artisan community located on the shores of Winona Lake. Plenty to do a lots of shopping, dinning options. Plenty of walking and bike paths. From the Village at Winona Website -
During the late 19th century, the Winona Lake area became home to the Beyer brothers, a family of enterprising dairy farmers who first saw the area’s artesian springs as a source of natural refrigeration for their company. Over time they saw the potential for much more. In 1887, the brothers built Spring Fountain Park, a resort complete with a hotel, a racetrack and a roller coaster.
The resort was sold in 1894 to Presbyterian church leader Dr. Solomon Dickey, who dreamed of turning the area into a religious retreat. Thanks to his substantial improvements—including the building of homes, cottages and the canal—the succeeding years brought significant growth to the area. Conferences, church retreats and summer vacations swelled the Park’s seasonal tourism.
By 1905, the resort and surrounding area had been renamed Winona Lake. The following ten years are now known as the ‘Golden Age’ of Winona Lake, with summer tourism reaching 250,000. It was during these years that evangelist Billy Sunday built a home in the nearby village. Thanks to Sunday’s presence, Winona Lake became a haven for religious community, its summer days filled with church conferences, conventions and training schools. The area became oasis for Midwesterners looking for rest and relaxation as well as strong spiritual community.
In 1994, a restoration project began to transform the Winona Lake community to its former glory. With the creation of new commercial and residential areas, as well as the restoration of nearly 30 properties, new life began to reappear. Over the last 20 years the area has once again been transformed into one of Northern Indiana’s prime recreation and shopping destinations. The Village at Winona is now an integral part of the community, serving locals, Grace College students and faculty as well as the many vacationers who make day and weekend trips to the area. The Village contributes to Winona Lake’s unique character by welcoming small businesses seeking to build a sustainable presence in this welcoming and historic community.

This place is a gem hidden in the middle of route 30. A lot of things have changed over the years, but it remains quaint and a charming village. The changes were all improvements. There's 4 places to eat in the village of Winona Lake, mainly Boathouse, Cerulean, Light Rail and Kelainey's. There are more shops and you can also rent a kayak or paddle board by the canal. Lovely place to visit and the sunset by the lake is stunning!

Fernwood botanical gardens was a treat for the entire family. Four adults and three children were able to go and see the holiday lights or a total of $100. It was an economical treat for all of us. The path was easy to navigate. I would venture to say it would be easy for a wheelchair as well. There were all varieties of lights as well as a pumpkin castle. At the end of the holiday light tour there was a public house where we could buy cookies and hot chocolate.

Wedding venue was the reason for my visit to this great place!! As you drive to get to this destination, you'll drive down this quaint driveway that twists and turns!! At the end you get to the parking lot that seems adequate! There was a wedding going on so I'm sure there's more than enough parking for the usual crowd of people!!! There's an entrance fee for people to see the attractions... I'm not exactly sure how much but I did overhear some decent size amounts but not sure what you get when you pay admission. As far as this place as a wedding venue it was awesome plenty of beautiful places to take pictures!! There was a tent set up and that worked perfectly! There was enough room to put down a moveable dance floor and still have enough room for all the tables and food!! If you are reading this and you enjoyed this review please do me a favor and like this review. If not that's cool too!! I hope you are reading this and doing great and feeling good!! Beautiful sights all around. The creek that runs through is my daughters favorite. The cold running water, on a 90°F day.. amazing. We saw turtles, fish big and small, and bugs. We bird watched, went to the kids center and listened to the bees, drawed on the expo table, stacked rocks and so much more. I recommend this to everyone; couples looking for a hike/pictures, or a family. *It's not all stroller accessible*

Went on a Sunday afternoon with my 3 and 5 year old. First we used the restroom, thn checked out the Railway Garden and Nature Adventure Garden, which were interactive and great for kids. They were hoping to see butterflies at some point but we only saw dragon flies.
We then went to the cafe, where the young servers were a little ditsy so that was interesting and unconventional. The food was good, very fresh.
Afterwards, we stopped by the restroom again and then went to explore the other gardens and fell upon the Wilderness Trail. We walked the ENTIRE trail, which I honestly don't recommend with walking young children. My youngest kept tripping and I was worried about being so close to the lake. At one point, there was thick mud, I got one across avoiding the mud, the other started to fall and I ended up sticking my shoe in and getting it stuck in the mud..
I would recommend for older children but no more deep wood/by the lake hiking for mine until they are a bit older. Really enjoyed the paved portion!

I had a GREAT! Time at Fernwood today. I love getting out in nature to destress and decompress. Not many people were there during my visit. Which was perfect 🤌🏼 I don't like a lot of talking. I just wanted to connect with nature. Two favorites: the willow tree and the little creeks. The staff was very friendly. I was warmly greeted when I entered, and given helpful info. That's a huge deal for me. The sights, sounds, and aroma were so calming and healing.

An inside viewing area lets you watch wildlife from large windows, this was comfortable and amusing.

This is a beautiful place to visit any time of the year. Today we visited for the light walk. I highly recommend seeing the lights.

The paved trails had a lot of weeds in the cracks as well as cracked walkways. The trails were fairly well marked. Overall the grounds were not as well groomed as expected. The staff was very friendly and the displays in the main building were very nice.

Great place to walk the lights, get some family photos and enjoy the Christmas spirit. The kids loved to light swings and most families were pretty respectful of taking turns. They have it planned out well so traffic is just right. Bring some extra money if you want concessions.

We visited this beautiful garden on Saturday and were impressed by the sensory garden, and the train garden with 3 different trains running at one time. The autumn crocuses were in glorious full bloom (see photos) and the blue bottle gentian (photo) was also lovely. We had lunch at their cafe and the carrot cake drizzled with a caramel sauce was delicious! Our second visit and we will return:
The Barns at Nappanee offers a rustic retreat with comfortable lodging and a range of amenities, including a theater, outdoor pool, and dining options. Visitors can enjoy various restaurants on the historic site, such as the Farm Table restaurant featuring the famous Threshers Dinner and The Barns Steakhouse offering locally-raised Wagyu and Angus Beef. Additionally, guests can indulge in sweet treats at the Sweet Cream Cabin.
Came here for brunch with extended family. It was enjoyable for all! Even with the problem with one of the hot tables, the staff was wonderful and extremely accommodating with our large group. Way to go Barns!

The Easter Buffet was horrible! It was VERY expensive, so we were expecting a delicious meal. The food was overcooked, undercooked, cold, and hard. The salad bar selection was extremely minimal. They had soup but no spoons. They ran out of plates. We ordered coffee, received no refill and no sugar or cream even after requesting. The desserts ....were not really desserts, just their attempt at muffin tops? maybe scones? No pies, cakes, or even a cookie. We should have gone to McDonalds! I don't like to leave negative reviews but I had to be honest.

The play was amazing. We loved it. The actors did a fabulous job. The food however, "Threshers Dinner" left a lot to be desired. Fried chicken- soggy and flavorless, the beef and noodles was cold and also lacking in flavor and beef, the mixed vegetables had no seasoning, the ham was just average, the dressing was overcooked and dry, the bread was awful, dry and crumbly. The only thing worth eating was the mashed potatoes and the dessert, we had the raspberry cream pie. They also started us with really small portion sizes. We highly recommend the play, but save your money on dinner. Go enjoy dinner somewhere else.

We decided to eat at "The Barn in Nappanee", Indiana. All Amish cooked from scratch. It was a buffet so all you could eat. Maybe… Well, I couldn't even finish the first plate
The ham and bean soup was to die for! Everything on our plates were perfectly cooked! Blueberry butter on the bread was excellent! The green beans were cooked perfectly! Crisp to the bite.. Yum, just the way I like them. I had to go back and try the fries white fish.. It was good but fried that much was to much for me.. To top it off, I had a Blue Moon Belgian White to enjoy! Tina took my orange slice. 😁 We ordered a Cherry pie slice to go so we could share it later..
Our server Crystal was great! Everyone was so nice as well!

The Easter buffet was, at best, disappointing. The food was lukewarm to cold, chicken was beet red in the center, only offered a salad fork, limited choices, only cookies and scones for dessert. For even the discounted senior price this meal was overpriced. When a waiter stopped by (not the actual person that had been our server) and asked how the meal was, we mentioned the chicken and food temp. One of our party showed what seemed to be a sliver of wood found in her pudding and his reaction was to shrug. I really looked forward to this meal. I will not return.

I called earlier in the week for reservations for Easter. I was told that they were not taking anymore reservation but would do walk in. I asked what the wait looked like for 11:30. The girl on the phone told me about a 45 min wait. My husband and I came early 11:10 for to wait before my our daughter and son came. We put our name in and and was told 45 min to 1 hour. We walked around but could hear names being called we understood they had reservation. At the 45 min time my husband went in to see how longer the wait would be and was told 30 min. We seat down after 30 minutes I checked and was told another 30 min. We got talking to the lady who said she also had no reservations. The lady and l compaired what times we each got there and we both needed a table for 4. We were here a half hour before her. Again my husband went up again after more then 30 minutes and as he did they called this lady with her family of 4. So I went up to find out why we are still waiting. They told us we would be the next table of 4 but instead 2 more family of 4 was called. We left to go to Cracker Barrel. We waited 2 hr before we left. I do not know how the Barns food taste it was our first and last time there. But Cracker Barrel is good and I will return there to eat again.

The University of Notre Dame, a Catholic institution founded in 1842, is home to the Fighting Irish football team and boasts a picturesque campus. Notable historic sites include the Basilica, dome, and library. The university's Gothic architecture is symbolic of Paris and France itself, with Napoleon having been crowned there. The stadium on campus is impressive and ushers provide helpful service to visitors. Hospitality at Notre Dame is excellent and tailgating events offer opportunities for socializing with fellow fans.
I love it here! I have worked here for 15 years and don't plan to leave anytime soon. Plenty to do and see, people are kind, as it's a beautiful campus. Plus, who doesn't love the best football team?

The University of Notre Dame Campus is strikingly beautiful. The architecture of its buildings is stunning. In May the tulips around campus are beautiful to see. I was there today to run a Spartan Race. Three venue was awesome. I got a chance to run through the entire stadium, the football field, and some of the campus. We also got to run through the locker rooms and courtyard that had a great view of Touchdown Jesus. The Notre Dame Stadium staff was great too. Very professional. They treated the few thousands of racers, Spartan Race staff, and spectators like family. I'd definitely like to go back again soon.

In the spirit of full disclosure I am somewhat biased as I am an Alumnus. That said, this is truly one of the most unique and beautiful college campuses in the country. A very beautiful Campus. Well maintained as it is makes it easy to see why it's such a popular choice for a great education. I would give a full five just for the beauty but as I have never been a student I can't fairly say how I'd feel having never experienced attending. As a visitor I truly enjoyed the architectural beauty and the history of the famed campus. I recommended this as a great free must see in the area!

Beautiful campus. Great place to watch a football game. Great atmosphere. Friendly fans. Food was good for stadium food and prices were reasonable. You won't be disappointed in the stadium or atmosphere. Go Irish!

Great architecture
I can't really say much about the university itself, I just came to visit to see the stunning basilica. There were actually less buildings with unique architectural elements than I was expecting. It appears that the bookstore and dorms and most general buildings are mostly square brick structures. Still worth visiting to see the Grotto, Basilica, and gold dome.
Notre Dame Stadium is a renowned college football venue that has been home to many Heisman trophy winners since 1930. It can accommodate over 80,000 spectators and is known for its iconic status. The stadium boasts a beautiful old-fashioned design with modern amenities, making it an attractive destination for visitors. The fans are enthusiastic, particularly the student section who make their presence felt with their loud cheers.
One of my favorite places on this big giant rock. The food was great, plenty of souvenir shops to choose from. The video screens every where help you stay up with the action at all times.

One of the best venues for anything anywhere in the country. There’s no such thing as a bad seat here, even if you’re super far up. Even though it’s a sprawling stadium, every seat feels like you’re home. The food selection here isn’t too bad either. You can feel the history here just oozing out in every single corner.

Love this spot. I’ve been to Notre Dame a few times in my travels. I always find myself chanting “Rudy, Rudy, Rudy” as I walk around the football stadium. The Basilica is awesome from the outside. I arrived to late in the day to get inside. I remember the days when you could walk into a church or a house of God at any time of the day. One interesting fact that I was unaware of all these years is that the church calls Cathedrals, Basilica’s when the Pope has been there personally. I am a big fan of the school and there willingness to promote God and His ministry to their students and the world without being subject to all of the noise and pressure within our modern world. Good for you Notre Dame! I would highly recommend a walk around Campus.

The House That Rockne Built. The greatest sports venue in all of sports, the iconic Notre Dame Stadium. Great place to see the Irish play on Saturdays! Parking lots are away from the stadium so a little walk or bus ride will get you there. Plenty to do before kickoff, campus is small and easily walked around in an afternoon. Lots of staff on hand at the stadium, bathrooms are clean and concessions are well stocked!

Watched Billy Joel here and this venue was incredible! There isn’t a bad seat in this stadium. We were on the floor and it was a bit cramped. I wish we would’ve had seats in the stands. But it was nice to have the freedom to walk around and get closer, take pictures, and get close to the concert. We are going to look into more concerts here. Highly recommended.

This place is what college sports are all about. A definite winner.

Awesome stadium, only two things I didn't like was the seats are to close together, all that money they used for the remodel my knees shouldn't be in people backs. Also should be a TV screen on both sides of the stadium. If you are on the TV side you will have to wear a neck brace by the end of the game because your going to be constantly turning to look at the one TV in the stadium. Other than that we had a great time.

ICONIC. Went thinking I'd catch a half and then beat traffic or walk around campus but fuggetaboutit stayed for the entire game because it was such an amazing game and experience. What a gorgeous olde stadium with a modern touch. Fans were awesome student section was loud and the Notre Dame band was out of this freaking world. I've never seen a bigger band in my life and the music was spot on. Stayed to get some pictures as the stadium emptied and didn't regret waiting. If you visit go to a game and soak in an amazing day.

If they sold beer in the stadium I'd give it 5 stars. The home crowd was unbelievably friendly. The stadium and campus were one of the most beautiful I've seen in my life of fandom. There's basically no rules about walking around with an open container while tailgating so right up until you walk in, it's perfect. Then you're drinking coke products the rest of the night. Hopefully this will change soon.
The Basilica of the Sacred Heart is a stunning Catholic church from the 19th century, renowned for its beautiful stained-glass windows and frescoes. It holds significant historical and religious value and is located on the campus of Notre Dame. Visitors are advised to be respectful when entering as it is a peaceful and serene environment. The church also hosts wedding photoshoots so visitors should check scheduled times before arriving. Regardless of religion, anyone can appreciate the beauty this basilica has to offer.
This place is absolutely gorgeous. If you are ever on the campus of Notre Dame make sure you come and visit this basilica. I think I have been to all the basilicas in the world now so it feels good to visit this one again. The inside is very quiet and serene so make sure you are respectful when coming in. You don’t have to be Catholic to appreciate this beauty.

The Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame is without a doubt my favorite Catholic Church of all time. From September 2017 until June 2018 and again for a football weekend in November 2019 I had the privilege of serving as a tour guide here and it remains without a doubt the best job I could ever ask for. The Basilica has so much history from the 19th Century French Stain Glass windows to the murals painted by Luigi Gregori and so much more. The Faith here is truly alive both the Daily and Sunday Masses that are celebrated here are so beautiful and the homilies are uplifting powerful and amazing. If your ever visiting Notre Dame's campus during a home football weekend or any time of the year is one place you should definitely check out the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.

Breathtaking. If you are EVER on Notre Dame campus see ALL the sights, but absolutely stop in here to see the chapel. We were also told by an usher that the stained glass in the chapel is some of the only remaining French stained glass in the world. A MUST SEE!! I can't even imagine what mass would be like here.

One of the most beautiful cathedrals I have ever visited being a Catholic. The inside is immaculate and the folks who show you around are helpful and full of knowledge. Even if you are not spiritual, just the peacefulness of the sanctuary and the artwork is a reason to visit.

We were at the Basilica for our cousins Profession of Pertpetual Vows, the campus is a beautiful place. The Cathedral is an exquisite work of art, from columns supporting the roof structure, the alter, the Stations of the Cross, the the incredible stained glass windows. The entire campus is beautifully landscaped and well manicured. The history of the campus is interesting as well as enlightening. The lake is serene and peaceful, and the grotto is peculiarly silent even being near the roadway. It is reverent place and many students gather there is solitude and prayer. We were very impressed with the campus and it's beauty.

This is truely a place of worship dedicated to Jesus Christ. I have been to many churches, chapels, basilicas, etc... across Europe, Mexico, Canada and The USA and this place is at the top of the list to see, worship, and experience the prsense of God. If you have the opportunity to visit and worship make it a top priority!

We were enthralled by the impressive collection of early Studebaker models and the intriguing display showcasing which presidents used Studebakers. The museum's beautiful building provided the perfect backdrop to explore the rich history of Studebaker, dating back to its early carriage days. The wealth of information presented in the exhibits was impressive, offering a comprehensive journey through the evolution of this iconic brand. Whether you're a Studebaker enthusiast or simply curious about automotive history, the Studebaker Museum is a must-visit destination that will leave you with a deeper appreciation for the brand's enduring legacy.

Beautiful styling. These Studebaker automobiles were and still are works of art. After visiting I understand why the museum is rated as high as it is. It was a pleasant afternoon with my wife.

This is a very impressive museum for both car enthusiasts as well as those interested in history. There are displays that cover Studebakers early years of wagon and coach building all the way to the last car they made. I especially enjoyed seeing the prototypes and specialty vehicles. The facilities are very nice and inviting. There is even a gift shop. You won't be disappointed.

I was there with a company that actually rented the museum for the evening and the museum catered an amazing meal. It was comfort food done right! And we were welcome to tour the museum as well. It was a wonderful museum and there was a car there to use as a photo op. One of the areas had a person from the museum sharing fun information about some of the cars. That was an added bonus!

It is an ideal location for children to visit, it has a lot of cars and a lot of nice places for children to play. There is a small classroom, a small children's house, a small kitchen, and a small camping place. The children had a lot of fun

Also toured the Oliver house huge and beautiful. So much unknown history.

Very neat museum! My dad was a Studebaker/Packard guy, so it definitely brought back a lot of memories. Lots of cool cars and horse-drawn carriages on display, plenty of informational displays telling you about the history of the company. My little boy enjoyed seeing how much the cars cost back in the day, and walking on the paving surface samples throughout the chronologically-organized museum.

An excellent museum presenting the entire history of the Studebaker car company. Lots of exhibits, original cars and many other interesting artifacts. An absolute must-visit for every motoring fan. I recommend spending a few hours visiting this museum because there is a lot to see. To sum up: Awesome.

A great collection of cars including presedent vehicles since 1800s, you can take a photo sitting inside a retro car

We went at a good time. It wasn't very busy at all. We chose to go there because we were reading a children's book from 1904 and there were many older cars in the book. So, I took my son to see the old cars for himself.

I really good collection of cars. This was the main reason I visited South bend this last time. I know people mainly go to SB for ND but if you are around go visit the museum. Take advantage and take a tour of the Oliver Mansion which is in the same grounds.

📸 ❤️ Nothing like capturing an amazing Wedding at the Studebaker Museum! 🚙🥰
Our team got the chance to spend the day with our couple and we cannot wait to come back and photograph / video another wedding here. 🥰
The location has endless possibilities, the staff is amazing and it's such a unique spot that it's an experience all on its own.

Nice little museum that we got to go to on a Sunday. With the SJC library pass, you can see this and the history museum for free (up to 6 people) and we enjoyed it. I do wish there was a better way of an app or like an audio tape to play while we were walking around, the app was hard to work around, and I couldn't find where it did the walk through. Otherwise, we loved coming here and seeing all the cars and the history museum. I did think it was funny seeing some things in the history section that came from my childhood lol... starts to show my age LOL.

Really cool museum filled with 120 or so classic cars from different periods of time. Nice way to spend an hour or two at a very reasonable price ($11 per adult ticket).

If you're a motor head or a ghost chaser this is a good place to stop since it offers both! The Studebaker part is 3 stories on one side, the other side is the haunted history of Indiana. Both are neat!

Buckle up, gearheads, because the Studebaker National Museum in South Bend, Indiana, just blew my doors off! This ain't your grandpa's dusty car collection – it's a chrome-plated, high-octane thrill ride through automotive history.
From the moment you step into the sleek, modern building, you're transported to a world of gleaming Studebakers, from the earliest horseless carriages to the futuristic bullet-nosed dream machines. These aren't just cars, they're rolling works of art, each one a testament to American ingenuity and craftsmanship.
The exhibits are more than just static displays – they're interactive, immersive experiences. You can hear the engines roar, smell the leather seats, and practically feel the wind in your hair as you cruise through vintage ads and historical footage. And the stories! Every car has a tale to tell, from presidential parades to Hollywood roadsters, and the knowledgeable docents are there to spin those yarns like master mechanics.
But the museum ain't just about Studebakers, it's about the whole darned history of South Bend. You'll see how this little Hoosier town became the "Gear City," churning out wagons, carriages, and even military vehicles that shaped the nation. And let's not forget the Presidential Carriage Collection – talk about rolling history books! You'll come face-to-face with the carriage Lincoln rode to Ford's Theatre, and trust me, chills will run down your spine.
Whether you're a gearhead grease monkey or just a history buff with a sense of adventure, the Studebaker National Museum is a must-visit. It's a place where imagination fuels the engine, and the past roars back to life in glorious technicolor. So hit the gas and head to South Bend – you're in for a ride you won't forget!
**Bonus points:** Don't miss the gift shop – it's a treasure trove of vintage car memorabilia, perfect for finding that unique souvenir or stocking stuffer. And if you're feeling peckish, the Tippecanoe Place Restaurant on-site serves up some mean comfort food that'll refuel your engine for more exploring.
**Final verdict:** Five out of five wrenches! The Studebaker National Museum is a polished gem, a purring masterpiece, a guaranteed good time for anyone with a pulse and a love for history (or hot rods!). Take my word for it, you'll leave with a smile wider than a '57 Studebaker Hawk's grille. Now go, vroom vroom!
Multi-use trails, lake boating & fishing, public archaeological sites & more, plus campgrounds.
My husband and I took my niece here (when she visited in the summer) and had a nice shorter hike before she went swimming. She said she liked the lake here better than Lake Michigan because it wasn't as cold. My husband and I decided to go back in the fall and take a much longer hike and admire the vast array of fall colors. The temperature was more bearable at that time and there were so many gorgeous, hidden resting places that we didn't see on our short hike. We went earlier in the morning and it was quiet, with little traffic. The two couples in the second photo were the only people we saw, most of the two hours we were there. Plenty of historical information and an enjoyable hike through such a colorful landscape.

A beautiful state park with lots of trails for hiking and walking. Has shorter trails of a mile or less, but also has more rugged trails that go for a couple miles. Features a paved bike trail and a mountain bike trail. You can rent family cabins with rooms for a lot of people, campgrounds if you want to pitch a tent, or park your RV/motor home. Strongly recommend making your reservations for a cabin far in advance, as they are very popular and full up quick.

What an amazing Indiana State Park. We arrived on Thursday evening and we’re informed that the dump stations at the family campground were closed for renovations. However the dump stations at the horseman’s camp were open. We drove there to dump and found newly renovated dump stations that were clean, easy to get to and completely updated. After dumping we drove across the street to the newly updated fresh water filling stations, again nicely renovated and super clean!
The renovations on the dump stations at the family campground are complete and they will reopen on 8/7/23. Every @INDNR property should duplicate what they are doing! 4 water stations at one time and there will be 5 dump stations.
The camp grounds were separated into about 5-6 different sections. With a bathhouse in the middle of each section which were clean and air conditioned. Overall around 250-300 campsites. The sites were all level and large. A fire pit and picnic table at each site.
The park itself was amazing! Big lake with a beach for swimming and a place to rent boats. There are paved bicycle paths. You can rent bikes at the camp store. There are plenty of nature programs to attend geared towards children and adults alike. We volunteered to walk the resident Eastern Box Turtle, Lilly, as part of the Explore Program, we also went to the Potter Cemetery to view some of the oldest gravesites. Totally fascinating.
This is a beautiful property and one that we intend on visiting again.

Beautiful state park! Not far off 31, so convenient to get to. I did trail 3, signage was great, trails were mostly empty of other hikers. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Trail 3 has a nice overlook area with some seating to enjoy the view. Plenty of benches and seating along the trail too, which is nice for taking stops to enjoy the ambiance. The birds were so talkative, the leaves are starting to change, and even with the drier weather I still spotted some mushrooms. Will definitely come back!

Great park! We camped in February. Had electrical hookup for a space heater and the park staff could not have been nicer. Most of the after is turned off in the winter, which makes sense, but there is a restroom that stays open and vaulted toilets for campers.
Gorgeous area with some really great trails. Look forward to coming back!

Surprised my granddaughter on her birthday, we were waiting for her at the beach. We had so much fun playing in the water and the beach area.
Later we went back to the campground (her parents rented 2 camp spaces for two night at $55.00 for each campsite) and had dinner over a campfire. It was a great day at Potato Creek State Park

We went to the fishing pier, it was not a 100% set and stable pier.
The pier shifts with the current and some people may not like it, but we did not mind.
There were many families out and alot of people fishing too, but I did not catch a bite nor did my husband but we had alot of fun.

There is a fee to enter with a vehicle however it is well worth it to be able to use the trails and such. Used to fish here a lot when I was younger, still just as beautiful. They do have a map of everything which is helpful if you need to locate a restroom. I do often see dogs/pets on the trails as well. Lots of cool things to look at and find on the trails, we've only been on 2 and there are many others.

Gorgeous forest, huge lake, multiple wetlands, large-clean beach and real restrooms with showers. One of our favorites for hiking. Lots of bike trails-some paved, some rugged, horseback riding trails, and camping.

Went on a short hike on the Friends trail in February. Trail was well maintained, had 3 docks/wooden built lookouts over the water. It was a cool park and a great stop on our road trip from Indy to Kalamazoo. The park was beautiful with the frost in the branches and thin layer of ice on top of the water in the wetlands. I bet it is absolutely gorgeous in the summer too.
We have a State Park pass and are trying to check off/visit all Indiana State Parks.

We camped here in October and it was wonderful. The campground bathrooms are nice and clean. The campsites are large and maintained. We rented bikes at the camp store and did the 3.3 mile bike trail. That was amazing! Didn't go on the trails but this park is well kept, manicured and we will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful state park with a great variety of trails through a variety of habitats. Well placed benches along the trail offer places to rest and appreciate the views.
There is a campground, and also some nice family cabins tucked into the forest. There's also a popular swimming beach and boat rental in the summer. A long paved bike trail, as well as mountain bike trails, wind through the park. Bike rental is offered at the campground general store.
There are fishing piers and boat launches. A fish cleaning station is also available.
In addition, at the back of the park is a wonderful nature center, which offers a lot of different programs throughout the year.
There are playgrounds dotted throughout the park and shelters available to rent.

Check out the nature center too, friendly people, and watch the critters and birds eat, plenty to do here for everyone. Very family friendly, all will have fun.
