I randomly stumbled upon Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club while looking for the price. It's a place that doesn't cater to high-class golf enthusiasts. We were staying at the Resort, and after getting a discount, renting clubs and a cart, the price seemed reasonable. One person played the first nine holes while also managing the cart and acting as a caddy. Despite it being a cloudy autumn day, the course offered picturesque views.
We went here for lunch last Saturday. We had a seminar at the resort and I wanted to play golf, but unfortunately didn't have time. But we only had 90 minutes for lunch and it takes 10 minutes to drive here from the resort. The staff at the restaurant were AWESOME and efficient! Had wings and Halibut fish and chips. Food and service was EXCELLENT and FAST. We got done in time to walk around for a few minutes and get back to our seminar. Highly recommend the food/service/people working here! Hoping to come back and play golf in the future as it's an Arnold Palmer design. : )

I’ve been coming to the club for around six years now, and it’s always been just good. It’s never blown my socks off and it’s never been disappointing. Service is always fantastic, and the atmosphere is gorgeous, surrounded by a fountain and green.
We had the crab melt, lunch trio, and fish and chips and all of them were exactly as expected. You can get tots, salad, or choose the soup of the day. Today was the seafood chowder, and it was good.
We also got the creme brûlée and Caesar salads, and the Caesar was great! Also, their tots are delicious.

We were here for Washington state for the junior golf. They only opened tee times for a very short window which made it tough to get on. We were there on a Monday and you could tell the member hated the juniors being there. We got kicked off the driving range because the staff said it was only for members. Friends that were staying at the resort left because of power outages at the resort. Probably wouldn’t come back. I guess it’s supposed to be a great place but I didn’t see it
Steven Paquin — Google review
We are new members to the club. We have played 12 rounds in the last 2 months. We have found the course to be in excellent condition with a premium on the greens. The overall beauty of the course is exquisite.
The service has also been extraordinary....from Ginger in the lounge to Keith in the Proshop.
we have also appreciated Jeff & Kris in the roles of informing us about the club and welcoming us in :)
we have had several great meals at the Blue Heron including the Miso Cod and the Seafood Chowder and they were both top notch.
We have already had many fun rounds at the course and meeting new people. We even had the opportunity to swim in the pool before it was closed, and it was wonderful.
My wife & I believe that our membership was a great investment and would definitely recommend Semiahmoo to any prospective member.

Another yummy restaurant the Blue Heron, the Sport shop closes at 5 PM , the club house is very neat, and clean, wait staff very nice and it's decorated for the different seasons. We ordered Fish Taco's, Halibut with Fries, and Their Clubhouse sandwiche, with Chips.

Spent two nights at the resort and played two rounds of golf. Enjoyed two dinners and one breakfast. The food and atmosphere was excellent. The golf course was in tip top shape and a pleasure to play. The pro, Jeff was particularly knowledgeable, personable and helpful. All and all I give the golf and the resort a solid 5 stars. Needless to say we had a fabulous time.

We randomly stopped here to see what the price was. Don’t consider us hoity toity golf folk. We were staying at the Resort, and with the discount, plus having to rent clubs and a cart, the price was totally right. My guy played the front nine, and I drove the cart and caddied. The course was scenic, even for a cloudy fall day. I love that they have so many tee options - Orange tee box, I am talking to you, friend. We were practically alone on the course. Next time we will bring the clubs and both play the full 18. We got great service from the Pro Shop folks - recommend.
KatG — Google review
The course doesn't have much elevation change, but the fairways are full of interesting bumps and rolls. Greens were well groomed and surprisingly challenging. Very pleasant course and clubhouse overall.
It is a beautiful spot when the weather is good. Great street music going on, a lot of happy people enjoying the walk.
I highly recommend it. Keep two hours min. Add more time for eating out as a lot of options for dinner there.

A place to walk, chill, make your mind in peace . White rock pier is a place full of positivity , serenity . One can go there and sit for some time and take a small walk on the pier. Enjoy the beauty ,nature, water, seagulls chirping , sea shore sound. There are enormous restaurants where you can eat and see sunset peacefully. Easily accessible by car till that point . Less walk for seniors and kids too . One can easily take small bus too to reach till that point .

My absolute favourite place in Vancouver. The most satisfying walk is walking through the promenade and the pier. This place always has something fun to offer .. be it sea festival or some rockband playing some beautiful music. Best place for families to come and enjoy some fresh breeze

White Rock Pier is a 470-metre-long (1,540 ft) pier in White Rock, British Columbia. Originally built in 1914, it was a dock for steamships that arrived when the Great Northern Railway began operation. On December 20, 2018, the pier was severely damaged during a wind storm. The pier was repaired and reopened in 2019. 🤍

An incredible adventure!
Walk the prominade, the pier and stroll the beach.
Observe the starfish on the U.S - Canada marker.
Visit the amazing icecream shops and many restaurants with huge platters of fish & chips.
White Rock is definitely worth the visit. You won't be disappointed.
Peace Arch Provincial Park is a beautiful park that spans across the U.S./Canada border. It features lawns and gardens that are perfect for picnics and walks, as well as the iconic Peace Arch. Visitors from both countries can freely enter without any formal procedures required. The park offers a serene atmosphere during sunrise and sunset, and is also a great place to visit in winter with camping facilities available.
Situated right on the US-Canada border, this park exudes perpetual perfection. The meticulously cared-for grass, blossoms, and trees contribute to its impeccable appearance. Overlooking the bay, it offers a picturesque view. Public restrooms are available, making it a wonderful spot for capturing photos and stretching your legs, especially if you're faced with a lengthy border crossing queue.

We picked the worst timing to cross the border.
It was the first day of the Easter long weekend, Ichiro was throwing the first pitch for the Mariners and the Sakura festival was happening in downtown Seattle.
We were stuck in traffic for six hours! Walking would have been faster.
Gladly the weather was decent. Forecast said it would rain. It dropped a couple sprinkles then sunnied up.
HJ Marshall — Google review
Beautiful park on the US-Canada border. The park has large green open space. The peace arch towering the park is magnificent. There is ample free parking. The view of the ocean, totem pole and Japanese garden are really good. But the most unique thing about the park is that people from US and Canada can meet without going through immigrations. There are rangers who monitor that there are no illegal crossings but nothing is checked while you are in the park. The park is very peaceful and well maintained. USA also maintains the park on the other side of the border. The US side has a play area with some swings in addition to restrooms and picnic shelters. Looking forward to visit again.

This is a park between two countries,USA and Canada. People are from both countries can meet, greet and enjoy during the sunrise and sunset in this park. To enter the park, no formal procedure is required by either country. It is very cool place in winter. One can take tent, Gas heater to get some relief from cold.
Ashutosh N. Mistry — Google review
Everything is closed on the Canada side. The Peace Arch monument itself is stunning and the lawn is well maintained The Canadian customs building looks very small compared to the beautiful US port of entry. US officials are friendly and efficient. Canadian officials are mostly pleasant too.

Peace Arch Provincial Park is a beautiful park located on the Canada-US border in Surrey, BC. The park features a large grassy area for picnicking and playing, as well as a playground, trails, and a beach along the water. Visitors can also walk through the iconic Peace Arch monument and explore the visitor center and gift shop. The location is easily accessible by car and offers plenty of parking. Overall, Peace Arch Provincial Park is a great spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts looking for a fun and relaxing day out.

I was here 22 yrs ago. Didn't care for the beauty... but I appreciated it this time. Someone give the gardener a raise! Take the time to walk around here. Relax and enjoy nature.

Awesome park, nice to relax on a sunny weekend. Interesting for those visiting Canada and want to see the US border. No slides or swings but a lot of open green space to play around for kids and some scenic picture spots.

Great place. Due to this park, I met my fiancé after 5 years who is in America. Border patrol staff is very nice.the manager of the park Rick is very nice and polite. I enjoy every moment in that park.

I’m glad it’s open to visit again. It’s too early in spring to enjoy. Still cold and windy. I know soon it’ll warm up and they’ll have flowers again.
Paul Donovan — Google review
Love this place! Went to the Peace Arch from the US side couple of times, but this is my first time come from the Canada side.
Plenty of parking space. Need special attention DO NOT enter the parking lot for the duty free shop, otherwise you have to go to US.
Only thing was disappointing was that the US and Canada national flags formed by flowers were gone. Not sure what happens there.
Di Wu — Google review
We take for granted that the US and Canada are peaceful neighbors, but that wasn't always so, and I can think of a couple of neighboring countries that are less than peaceful. I also can't help but think of how this contrasts with the other end of I-5, Being able to wander back and forth between two countries like one can here is no small thing.
I also appreciate how beautiful this place is and what a good job BC has done in maintaining this park. It is well worth the visit, no matter what side of the border you come from.
Do watch where you park. If you make the first left into the Duty-Free shop parking, you will have to go to the United States, and all the fun going through a US border crossing entails. Also, if you do park in the actual lot, note that you can make a left turn on BC 99, even if it isn't marked. That's at the second carriageway, of course.
Casey Cooper — Google review
An interesting park as you can geographically cross the border to the US from Canada while technically being in Canada.
A good relaxing park.
Kurtis Lee — Google review
Shopping in the US is our family’s routine every now and then. I loved to see the historical Peace Arch with its gorgeous garden across the border. It’s a beautiful monument situated between the communities of Blaine, Washington and Surrey, British Columbia.
Bernie — Google review
There's a no left turn sign as you exit the park. Absolutely make a left turn there, otherwise you will end up at the border crossing with no way to turn back to Canada. If you don't have your passports with you, and why would you if you weren't planning to go to the US, and you accidentally end up at the border, US border agents will take your photo and fingerprints and generally take forever processing you before letting you turn back to Canada. Ridiculous. We don't even want to enter the US. The whole ordeal took an hour before we were allowed to turn back to Canada.

Peace Arch Provincial Park is a picturesque cross-border haven that seamlessly blends natural beauty with historical significance. With its iconic white arch and manicured gardens, it symbolizes the peaceful relationship between Canada and the United States. Whether you're strolling through the park, enjoying a picnic, or simply taking in the international vibe, Peace Arch Provincial Park offers a unique outdoor experience where nature and diplomacy meet.

Peace Arch Provincial Park, situated on the Canada-US border, entices with its tranquil ambiance and historical significance embodied in the iconic Peace Arch monument. Nature enthusiasts appreciate the park's lush surroundings, while history buffs delve into its cross-border heritage. It's an ideal destination for both relaxation and cultural exploration.

Really cool peaceful place where two countries are connected with not too secure border. Went to the park nearby where one side has houses with canadian flag and the other with american flag.
Larrabee State Park is a spacious camping ground in Samish Bay that boasts miles of hiking and biking trails, two fresh water lakes, and a beach. The park is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities, playground equipment and picnic areas. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful rock structures and picturesque beaches. Tide pools offer opportunities for discovering interesting marine life. However, weekends can be busy so plan accordingly.
What a great little state park! Beautiful drive to the main parking area. Bathrooms were super clean. Walk down to the water was very easy and doable for small kids. There was a big grass area and tables to eat lunch, along with playground equipment. Can't wait to go back to camp once the weather warms up.
Sarah H — Google review
One of my favorite parks and yearly camping spot. If you can get over the screeching train that comes once in a while, it is probably one of the most beautiful sunsets in the Puget Sound. Campsites are a bit closer to each other, but the restrooms are cleaned and well maintained. There's a lot of picnic areas for day use. Go under the train, take a right to go to the beach or left to find some incredible views above the bluff. Walk to the end of the trail where you can watch the sunset from a rock formation in the water.

Always a great local getaway! This park is beautiful no matter the time of year. Love the trails all over. Excellent place to relax and take in the breathtaking views of the water and San Juan Islands.
Holly Orban — Google review
Small, scenic park. None of the trails are too taxing, but some are more difficult than others. The views are spectacular. We momentarily saw a seal come up for air, but the aquatic mammals were otherwise absent today. Cool place.

Little crowded on weekends. I grew up in a house just about a mile from here. Very spectacular rock structures and beautiful beaches. Great to see how well they've kept it up. Very clean amd pristine.

Really loved this state park. They have picnic benches right by the parking area with a huge stage. Bathrooms and a water fountain. The tunnel under the train tracks were completely painted and beautiful. Such a beautiful view of the water and can go right up the beach, sand and rocks. Lots of sea life to be seen

Really green with beautiful flower trees. Nice small trails good for low impact walking. The grands enjoyed the play ground. The train under path which leads to the beach area has some unique art designs on the walls. The grands loved hearing their echoes. 🤗

I love the short walk to Clayton Beach. Lots of easy parking, discover pass required. They have done a lot of improvements to the trail and it’s about a 10 minute easy walk to access the beach.
There are bathrooms at the parking lot.

A favorite place for hiking and beach exploration. Trails and parking are along both sides of the road. Beachfront is rugged and fascinating. Many nooks and crannies to explore at this park! Restrooms, picnic areas, camping, too.

A vacation to Bellingham isn’t complete without a visit to Larrabee State Park. Every time I go I discover new natural beauty. On this visit I took the new trail and bridge to Clayton Beach. It was a great spot for a walk with tide pools, sandstone formations, and old pier remnants.

We had a great time here even on a cold windy day. We came at low tide and found starfish. There were tide pools and alot of sea life on the rocks.

Amazing area. So close to Bellingham but you certainly don’t feet it. Awesome at low tide. Calmest ocean I’ve ever seen. Great hiking, biking, and beaches near the park.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the boardwalk in Bellingham, Washington, Sarah and Alex strolled hand in hand along the wooden planks. The gentle breeze carried the scent of saltwater and the sound of seagulls overhead.
Sarah's eyes sparkled with excitement as she pointed out the colorful boats bobbing in the marina, while Alex wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her close as they walked. They paused to admire the view, leaning against the railings and watching the vibrant hues of the sunset paint the sky.
As they continued their leisurely walk, Sarah spotted a small ice cream stand nestled among the shops along the boardwalk. With a grin, she tugged on Alex's hand, her eyes twinkling mischievously. "Ice cream break?" she suggested, her voice filled with playful anticipation.
Alex laughed, his heart warmed by Sarah's infectious enthusiasm. "Of course!" he replied, matching her smile. Together, they approached the stand and selected their favorite flavors, sharing a cone as they strolled along the boardwalk.
As they savored each sweet bite, Sarah and Alex shared stories, dreams, and whispered secrets, their laughter mingling with the sound of waves lapping against the shore. Time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in the simple joy of each other's company.
As the stars began to twinkle overhead, casting their soft light upon the water, Sarah and Alex reluctantly made their way back to the car, their hearts full and their spirits lifted by the magic of the evening. Hand in hand, they promised each other more adventures and more moments like this, knowing that their love would always be as timeless and as beautiful as the boardwalk itself.

Nice park to relax and enjoy the scenery. Beautiful lawns, lots of benches and picnic tables with barbecue pits. Very nice and clean bathroom facilities, right next to Woods Coffee Shop (& lounge).
Perfect trail for walking and riding bikes, takes you from Downtown Fairhaven to Downtown Bellingham. A very well designed park that is very well maintained.
It was an amazing experience for me and my friends. The instructors were very helpful and we had a good time. We went there just for fun, as we were first timers. There was a short safety class before going for shooting and then an instructor helped us at the range. We paid a fee, rented 3 pistols and a rifle and bought 100 bullets for quite reasonable prices.
Farzaneh Rezaei — Google review
It was a really cool experience. Went there for the first time on a Saturday and there was a big line up. Tye team took their time and went through the process with calm and smile. The timings are flexible and the staff is just so nice. Had great fun. Definitely recommended for an adventurous and exciting weekend.

Update: after contacting the manager, they apologize and offered a generous gift card. The experience was smooth and the workers were professional. It was really fun and very unique activity in Vancouver. They have all different type of guns and they explain patiently if you are a newbie. One suggestion, book in advance when it is expected to be busy (on Fridays).
Totally suggested to everyone!
We called and asked for conditions, they said come we are open. When we arrive at 7:30, they said they close the line sooner. The worker did not even say sorry or offer anything.

First visit to the gun range with my brother, and it was awesome! 🎯
Safety measures were top-notch, and they do offer a women's discount on a specific day (forgot which one).
Highly recommend for a safe and enjoyable experience! 👍

Amazing place, well maintained reasonable pricing and super friendly staff.. spend good amount of time in the shooting range.
Tip.
1. On holidays or weekend, plan in advance you may have to wait in the queue once you reach there.
2. Reaching there with public transport is bit difficult but worth it, the area around is amazing. It takes lot of time in travelling so plan properly, try to reach around 1pm when they start.
3. You need to have one person along with you.
4. if you are first timer 9mm is fun and worth trying.
Ashish Gawade — Google review
It was my first time there and they gave a free bullet shot for the revolver for birthday week. I had a blast. The instructor was tentative and helpful.
The wait is long though. So I recommend going early. We arrived at 2pm but didn't start until almost 330 to 345pm. I'm not sure if it's also because of the holiday seasons.

We had an amazing night at DVC! Group of 9 celebrating a birthday and I reserved the Platinum Package. There was a wait to get in the building as it was a busy night but we all filled in our online waivers beforehand so as soon as we got in they took our IDs and checked us in. We waited for the safety orientation and once that was done we went into the range. Brandon and Luke treated us like royalty and they catered to our group of beginners. Everyone felt comfortable and tried out all the guns in the Platinum Package. We even got to try a KSG25 which was a special bonus from Brandon for the birthday boy! Thank you Brandon for being such a gracious host! We will definitely be back again.

It was a blast visiting Vancouver Gun Range with my friends. Everyone there is very very friendly and helpful. They help you with everything right from choosing bullets, guns and all the i formation necessary for first timers. Our instructor was Brandon. He was very friendly, funny, energetic and very helpful. He helped us right from the beginning. I will recommend to try this shooting range just to realize how our soldiers put up with these loud shooting noise every time they are out there in fields. Hats off to all soldiers around the world.

My son and I had a terrific time at DVC last weekend. We hadn't been shooting since pre-COVID and our visit was long overdue. We arrived 15 minutes before the facilities opened to the public and this paid off as we were in the first group admitted. The folks behind us had an hour+ wait. Our range officer, Luke, was outstanding; the targets didn't stand a chance.

My mother and I had great fun with Mike as our Range instructor. Went through everything in detail and was very patient and knowledgeable with good suggestions. We had great fun and would definitely go back if visiting Vancouver again. A highlight of our week!

My hubby and I, including hubby’s sister who came to visit us from Hong Kong. First timer going there, there was a long line up outside. After getting in, the front desk staff was super nice and knowledgeable when we say we are new new to the place and shooting guns. She explained throughly on everything and questions we had. The entrance fee includes renting the guns. Different guns have its own bullets, pricing, and number of rounds. Everyone selected their own target sheet. It was great that 1 person does not have to take all 20 rounds, but share the rounds as a group. For example, rifle of 20 rounds sharing for 3 people would be 7,7,6. After everything is decided, they let us take a seat. They had a safety training for several groups that are waiting to get into the shooting range. They have protective glasses and earmuffs provided. Christian was our range instructor, who is also very professional and friendly. He guide us step by step on each type of gun; pistol, revolver, and rifle. He had kept everyone safe but also fun with the entire experience. We also collected the gun shells as souvenirs. Would definitely go again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Absolutely fantastic experience for first-time visitors to a gun range! Despite initial nerves, our instructor Brandon's upbeat attitude and clear instructions immediately put us at ease. We had an amazing time and couldn't stop raving about it afterwards. If you're new to shooting, don't hesitate – Brandon ensures you're in safe and capable hands. We're already looking forward to our next visit, hoping to have Brandon as our instructor again! :)

I called to inquire about having a group session for people who had never shot before and I cannot say enough about how we were treated! From the moment Cheryl answered the phone to us leaving the day of was amazing. Mike, our supervisor, was amazing, taking the time to show us how the guns work, being patient with anxious first timers. And being able to change things around once we got comfortable and wanted to try new things. Cheryl went above and beyond to ensure our birthdays were celebrated, and we had an amazing team building time! We will definitely come back. And if you are on the fence? Definitely call and book. You will not be disappointed!!

I visited Vancouver gun range with a few friends and my brother while he was visiting from London. Having never shot a gun before I was a bit nervous but I shouldn’t have been the whole team there were awesome. Our group of five didn’t have to wait long and we picked our guns and ammo while we waited. First there was some safety training which put us at ease. Then it was time to go to the range and shoot some guns! Our instructor at the range was Pete, I can honestly say he was fantastic. He was fun but always prioritised our safety making sure everything was understood before we shot the guns. We had members of our group who had varying levels of comfortably and Pete was always happy to accommodate and swap to a different gun. Pete is clearly passionate about his job and he played a huge part in making this a memorable experience for all involved. We ended up shooting two pistols, two rifles and a revolver! I will definitely return, anyone who is looking to dip their toes into the world of guns look no further!

It was my first experience at the gun range. It was an awesome experience. This trainer is named Brandon, and he is so a friendly, helpful person. The way he guides to use of weapons, And also teaches how to be safe while using weapons.
I would recommend Brandon as your guide whenever you go to this DVC range.

Lake Padden Park is a vast green space located near a lake, which offers several sporting facilities like courts and fields. It also provides access to boats, fishing spots, and hiking trails. The park has ample parking spaces but might get crowded in the summer season. There are dog bag stations available but could use some more. The entire area is well-maintained and litter-free with friendly people around.
We walked around the lake. It has a really nice wide path all the way around. I think it was around 3 miles. Plenty of parking, at least this time of year. I’m not sure how the parking situation is in the summer when it’s super busy.
The bathrooms were open. There are 2 dog bag stations. I think they could use a couple more.
The whole park is really clean. I didn’t see any litter at all which is nice.
Everyone we encountered were friendly and polite. It is a very pleasant place to walk your dog and enjoy the water.

Absolutely beautiful place to come for a walk. I always find parking easily. There's a basic loop as well as other trails. There's a dog park, picnic benches, bbq area, various docks, a few benches a long the way to stop and take in the view. I love coming here!!

My family of 4 really enjoyed our walk around Lake Padden, it took us about an hour. It’s a 2.6 mile loop around the lake. You can find more trail details on the AllTrails app under Lake Padden Singletrack. Well maintained trail with gorgeous views, there is several great fishing spots and benches to sit and rest all around the lake. Definitely recommend exploring Lake Padden Park when in the area.

We live in the area and walk around lake padden anytime of the year! Trails are well maintained, public facilities are in good shape and the off leash dog park is a great place to take our pup! It definitely gets pretty busy in the summer but is definitely one of our favorite places to go to be outdoors.

A walk around Lake Padden made for the perfect December PNW experience. The misty fog rolled in to cover half the lake and provided tranquil views from the trail. We enjoyed seeing various ducks and birds on the walk. Even after all of the rain we had recently, the trial had few puddles.

Lake Padden is so beautiful in the fall. Great hike around the lake that is pretty long but is able to be done with a stroller. Highly recommend making the trip out if you haven't been.

Very clean park.

You can do so many things at this park. Hike, paddle, swim, run, field sports, BBQ, chill on the beach. It's a terrific park. And people appreciate it because there is no litter and dog owners pick up after their pets. A gem of the area, and our favorite recreational site.

Beautiful lake, but very small! Easy access with multiple parking lots and entrances. There's a boat launch available too (not really a lake for motor boats IMO - better to go to Samish). Public restrooms available; walking path around the lake and through the park; a swimming area; picnic tables with BBQ's; and multiple garbage bins near the parking lot for easy cleanup before getting to the car. Dogs welcome on leashes. Worth trying out. IMPORTANT NOTE: There are aquatic invasives to be mindful of, particularly if using any water craft, or water toys (eg noodles, soakers, etc) - proper cleaning after using the lake is a must!

Great park for the whole family including dogs. The hike around the lake takes about 1 hour with our sniffing dog Maddie. There is also an off leash dog park and an off leash trail. A large barbecue area, grass to sit on and numerous hiking trails. All around a great place to spend the day ❤️

There are several places were the trail becomes elevated, but not overly challenging. The trail is wide and has 2 docks.

Very very busy during the summer!
Lovely place however I have been told not to swim here due to bacteria most of the year.
I highly suggest it for a good 45-60 min walk around the lake. A few good uphill inclines, nothing too difficult for a stroller. Lovely park full of runners, swimmers, kayakers, paddle boarders, dog walkers, bikers and children playing.
The view is lovely, and the birds are very relaxing to listen to. I walk here almost every day, and have never seen anyone smoking here which is wonderful. There's some good back paths if you really want to make a day of it, however, those are a lot less stroller friendly, and a lot more bikers that go through that part.

Great park! Good for hiking, jogging, and spending time with family friends and furbabies of all ages.
Lots of bench’s, picnic tables and permanent charcoal grille’s on the grounds available for public use on a first come first serve basis as well as several large swathes of grassy picnic area/ water access.
Short hike around the park 1-2 hours depending on skill set etc.

Love this park! 2.6 walking trail around the lake is perfect for an easy hike and for kids. Great for kayaking, and water play and tons of picnic tables and plenty of parking. A bit of wildlife makes it special.

One of our favorite parks in Bellingham. This park has something for everyone. A golf course, off leash dog park, softball/baseball fields, countless bbq/picnic tables, lake access, hiking trails, and tennis court to name a few! The park gets very busy on beautiful days but there are typically plenty of parking options. Check the postings as sometimes there can toxic algae that can make swimming/other water sports risky/dangerous.
Whatcom Falls Park is a scenic city park located in the hills, featuring waterfalls, gardens, trails, a fishing pond, and a playground. It's an ideal place for families to visit and enjoy nature. The park has public washrooms and a small playground near the parking lot. Visitors can take short hikes along relaxing trails surrounded by trees. Although it may not be as expansive as some parks, its beauty makes it worthwhile to visit.
A lovely park with an ancient bridge and beautiful waterfalls. Short and light (there are stairs at some point so not suitable for a baby stroller). Near the parking lot there are public washrooms and small playground. Highly recommended.

06/24/23: I had some downtime walking, running, and climbing in this beautiful park. The parking is enormous, and there is no need for Discover Pass
The park itself is large, with clear arrows for directions and tons of things to discover. The most impressive thing that stuck to my mind is the gorgeous waterfall at the entrance. Lovely park with relaxing and calming nature inside it

A park with a waterfall. A short calm hike. A few parking lots. Whatcom waterfall There are not many views it’s more a walk under the trees. Few small lakes. Convenient short walk to the whatcom lake beach nearby if you want to go to the “real beach”. Some amenities. Quite convenient place for a short hike

Beautiful place for a more challenging walk/hike. Most of the trails were pretty narrow and a little muddy(we went in December). A few of them required a more adventurous disposition than I had that day and I didn't wear the best shoes. I have been told that the falls are much more full rapid flowing if you visit in the spring when the mountain snow melt flows down. I think it's fantastic any time of year. Visited December 2018

Small yet beautiful falls to visit. If you are expecting it to be a big place, it’s not. You just need to walk 2 mins to see the falls, however there are trails where you can do hike in between trees which feels relaxing and soothing.

Beautiful park. Amazing hiking trails. The falls are beautiful as well. Large parking area. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Playground was a little small but decent. Hatchery was fun to look at and see. Definitely a lot to see and do for such a little park. Also seen lots of leashed dogs.

Amazing little park. Waterfalls and small creek are very charming. The pools made by the dams are picturesque. It was also cool to see the old train bridge, but there is a sign that says it will be removed soon. Go see it before it disappears.

It’s so great park to enjoy weekend! Bring your snack and lunch and swimwear and shoes for playing in the river and you can enjoy couple hours. Place is so green and beautiful too. From parking to bridge is only a minute and only 3-5min to pool and falls.

A very serene area where the falls are flowing.
Loved the peace and calm there.
Just after a very short hike up the falls you will find another small falls - we saw lot of young people playing, bathing and swimming there - looked fun but I think i read no swimming in falls somewhere in the park so not sure if this was allowed.
The small playground is nice for less then 4 years old kids.

Amazing walk!!! The falls is located just about 5 minutes away from the parking lot.
There are different swimming areas which we loved. Water is a bit cold but refreshing!
You can continue the walk through the park and reach the Bloedel Donavan Park, which I highly recommend!
This entire walk takes a total of 1.5 hours to complete. Easy!

This is not the closest parking area for viewing the falls. If you want to see the falls and not walk far, use directions for Whatcom Creek Park.
That being said it’s still a nice shady walk to the falls from here. The whole park is huge with lots of trails.
Lots of people swimming in the creek, I was surprised how inviting the water looked. Still we never figured out a way to get down there that didn’t freak me out because it’s a steep jump and a long fall if you are not careful.

Such a cute park! The falls are beautiful! A park with the amenities of a small city park (playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, bathrooms, off-leash dog areas, etc.) but with trails that feel like you’re out in the middle of the woods. I love walking here!

We often like to go for walks when we're out. We stumbled on this path and it was better than we expected. It's a great party with quite a large flowering falls. The falls aren't high but the water coming over was a lot. Just a beautiful serene place worth visiting!!

Beautiful park and easy trails! Terrible experience with a guy from parks and rec who slammed on the door and yelled at my girlfriend while she was using the public and unlocked restroom at the park. She had only been in the bathroom for less than two minutes. We think he assumed she was a houseless person but nothing excuses his rude behavior and yelling.

I can't believe I've never taken the time to visit and explore Fort Langley. Full of historical buildings and exhibits outlining the history of European settlement, the Hudsons Bay company and the relevance of Fort Langley to the story. A fascinating place to visit for a few hours

Because I had my dog, we couldn't visit the fort, but that's not a problem. This village is a feast for all five senses. A great place to see vintage vehicles, and lots of antique shops. We visited the old rail station, which was a favorite of the grandkids, then crossed the bridge and wandered along the Fraser River's edge. Fort Langley is always busy on weekends, but when we visited on Labour Day, it was not bad at all. We lunched at the bistro under the pub, enjoying their peppery calamari while sitting outside at one of their beautifully appointed outdoor booths. A very pleasant day!

This is impressive considering that the site is under 200 years old on a compact site. The staff are all friendly and they will share their knowledge of the site and how the Hudson Bay Company did business and learned to integrate into the community.
It is a great choice to take kids as there is onbly one main entrance / exit (no wandering off) there is a playroom building dedicated for kids. The bathrooms are clean and well serviced. Parking lot access is good.
We went during a rainstorm, and it is not hard to image how the people lived in the wet, westcoast weather. Even with the rain, there were about 30 visitors on site. If you are visiting during clear and warm weather, I can imagine the site being very busy, so I would recommend buying tickets in advance.

Loved exploring this historic site. It highlights the part of the local history when the first settlers traded items with the first nations. The blacksmith workshop show and walking around the fort walls was my favourite part.

The thing that makes Fort Langley is the enthusiasm and erudition of the docents who bring this place alive. On our visit we met an 80 year old man who had the most phenomenal memory who held us spell-bound while he told us his story - and the story of the Fort. But the laurel wreath award goes to the chatty blacksmith who absolutely brilliant and shows you how hand eye coordination improves with practice and cannot be replicated any other way and who can turn a few cms of iron bar into a nail in seconds. We were early, so all I wanted to do was use the washroom - which is before you have to pay for admission - we would of course return after lunch - and I had a very informative exchange with the guy selling tickets. Parks Canada has done its amazing magic (see Dawson City if you don't believe me) in bringing a collection of historical buildings to life. Every schoolchild in the lower mainland gets to go to Fort Langley. If you haven't been yet you should go now.

This old small heritage town is a swing-by place for anyone who get bored with downtown Vancouver and wanna get away into a new environment. Many local eatery’s that are kept genuine and authentic. Fort itself is a disappointment because the forest covers everything and I can’t see inside. However, wandering around this town and capture some photos are still worth it. I have a feeling that this town is similar structured like Ladner. Overall, it is nice to be here.

Farm & vineyard with wine tastings, pick-your-own fields & a market selling produce grown on site.
We had a pleasant weekend visit with the family. Great waffles, live music for children. Happy to see everyone having a good time. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy the food, nice farm market for produce, fruit, preserves and handicrafts. Winey tasting and service was also very good.

Super cute place, beautiful garden space, and the u-pick is fun when there’s ample berries. But food is on the pricey side 😕
The market is pretty spacious with lots of options - I got the raspberry “shortcake”. I wouldn’t label it as such, it’s more of a raspberry puff, with a thin breading. To be warned the contents are quite sour, but pairs wonderfully with whip cream. Good size and decent price. As for the waffle, it’s nothing special, $20 for a regular one with a drink(vegan/gluten free option available for close to $20 alone) and lemonade. Seems a little pricey to me.

So we came here all the way from Burnaby to buy this one specific kind of wine which is the best (see the photo attached) and…went back home empty-handed. Off course we did the wine tasting (nothing special + you need to wait for about 30-40 mins), ate their famous waffles (pricey, ouch, but delicious) and visited their shop (pricey again). We left a number so they can get in touch with us once the wine is on sale again, but 3 months later no luck…
The interior is nice and I like their boot shot glasses (check my pics).

Excellent farm. Great food and activities for kids.
Went August 2021: they still required adults to wear masks in the Market area - most other stores don't require masks at this time.
Many activities were not available on the particular Friday we went, but it seemed like they were open most days.
Our most favourite things there are the fresh waffles they make on the spot (killer syrup, fresh berries and whipping cream). We also like the corn roasted pizza.
Things seem a bit pricey overall, but it is a nice treat for the family!

Went for the waffles. Ended up on a beautiful sunny day, which was quite busy—we luckily found parking, although it was a pretty full lot. A bit of a wait in the line up for the waffles due to the volume of customers, but as soon as we got our order in, it was pretty quick to receive. There definitely could be more outdoor seating considering the space, but turnover was quick enough for us to finally get seated. Waffles (~$14) were big, loaded with berries and was just the right amount of sweetness, including the fresh whipped cream and the syrup. Got the bottled raspberry lemonade too ($12) which was nice and refreshing. Not a cheap eat, but definitely understandable considering inflation, fallout from last year's floods, and the challenging farming weather this year. Happy to support local businesses.

Great farm for u-pick. We have each time a wonderful experience, there are also a store, winery and cafeteria. Beatiful surroundings. There maybe a problem with parking during busy hours and there are no standard washrooms, so with children it is inconvenient.

Had the best afternoon! Picked some raspberries and blueberries. Great value!! Can’t beat the freshness or quantity in terms of price compared to stores. It’s also fun to pick your own berries a great family bonding experience. We enjoyed the delicious waffle bar! They let us split a waffle which was great. Overall a fantastic experience and will be back sometime soon!

A large farm with a winery and bakery attached, perfect for enjoying a fall day out of the city.
There is a waffle bar in which the options were either strawberry topped or pumpkin battered. It was $13.95 or $15.50 if you wanted the gluten free option. Both the strawberry and pumpkin pies were delicious options - especially with the amount of fresh strawberries and whip cream they put on the waffle. However, the wait can be a bit long - from paying for the waffles, then waiting for the waffles, then finding a seat to enjoy the waffles. You can find lots of seating to enjoy your waffles right near where you pick up the waffles, or at the garden in front or the back.
We didn’t do any of the U Pick activities, but we did check out the pumpkin and strawberries areas. There are multiple wooden cut-outs you can take your photos with friends or family.
My favourite part of this farm is the shop and bakery where you can find almost a wall of frozen pies (both savoury and sweet). The potato bread was delicious as the dough was soooo soft. You can also find donuts, tarts, and other types of baked goods from the counter. The rest of the store had jams, syrups, powders, other berry themed household goods, and locally produced products (i.e. wooden earrings, honey products, and natural care products).
Parking is on gravel lot and map location is accurate.
Would highly recommend checking out and we’ll be coming back next year.

It’s not your typical farm in a sense that they don’t seem to specialize in growing berries (although I may be wrong). It’s more like an eatery/cafe/bistro/winery plus a very nice market with tons of baked goods and kitchen stuff. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends and prices are high, but the place is definitely worth visiting.

We went to meet some friends for a waffle breakfast and it did not disappoint. I tried the pumpkin waffle and you can taste the subtle fragrance of pumpkin baked into the waffle and it's topped with a mountain of whipped cream, a dash of cinnamon powder and a sprinkle of pumpkin seeds.
We arrived at 920 am and the store opens at 930 am. There was already a line up of more than 10 people ahead of us.
By the time we finished breakfast, the winery was open but we skipped the wine tasting this time around.
We took a walk around and enjoyed the flowers and the strawberry fields. Don't forget to drop in the market place.

It's a really well organized and beautiful farms. All their food are good and friendly staff too.
When we visited in October, it was much better for seniors. Since it is super busy in the summer months, we can't stand in the line for more than half hour under hot sun for the good food.
There are lot of stuff including some baked items, pies, ice-cream and many more in the store for the fall.
After the shopping, you can enjoy some wine, drink and waffle in the garden or the bar.
Make sure you check their hour before you go in fall and winter.
We go there on a beautiful day on September 30, 2023. What a nice day for enjoying some yummy waffle there. Make sure you go before 4pm getting the waffle. They still have strawberries waffle supply on last day of September.
They are also open for the free pumpkin patch in the closed field. The store has all fall stock up including all kinds of pie for the Thanksgiving.

I am a regular visitor and always enjoy our visits, but we had a weird encounter today.
We picked a couple of pumpkins and went to pay. They listed out the price of pumpkins by diameter. I went up to pay and the worker was about to charge the price for a 25+ inch pumpkin for what was at best 15 inches (price difference of 12 dollars for this pumpkin). I asked if I could use their tape measure just to check to which they responded they didn't have one and that if we get the manager to come by with one I would end up paying even more because my pumpkin looks quite large.
The manager comes with a tape measure and it is not even 14 inches. But this is not the reason I am leaving this review. The reason I am posting this review is because the manager then says "are you happy now!?" to me.. Instead of saying "our apologies for almost charging double".
Krause, you are an awesome local business we support but better processes should be in place to avoid confusion.

The farm is amazing. We stopped by a raspberry and blueberry upick experience, dine in and shopping (they have a variety selection from homemade stuff to houseware). We arrived first time in the morning and the parking lot was getting full, but well organized. Their staff are kind and friendly, we were greeted by a smiley lady in the parking lot. There was a line up in our way out of the upick field. The most important thing: it’s a spray free farm. Such an amazing day. We were tuned in their social media updates, so we could enjoy and plan the day ahead of time. Even not being a super fan of blueberry, the blueberry waffle as soon as their juice rock! Last thing we bought some pre picked corn, zucchini and get to know their pastry. They even have strawberry and blueberry powder (for baking purposes). It was our first of so many times.
Long-running zoo featuring a range of species, plus a small train ride & animal feedings.
My family goes all the time, we buy the membership and love it. Our kids enjoy the park, and we enjoy the walk. And of course we enjoy the animals, but regardless if you get to see the animals it's a fantastic walk. The staff are all very nice and if you have questions they have answers. We also find all the staff are excellent with children, it's something small, but goes a far way.
I 100% recommend the membership, you don't have to wait in line to get it, and I don't feel like I have to make a big day trip to get my money's worth, like I would if I just bought day tickets. We frequently will go and do just a quick lap and not walk the entire thing, especially if the weather suddenly turns.
Anyways, I personally think the zoo is great, and I highly recommend it to anyone, even if you don't have kids!

The zoo was so much fun! We came on a Wednesday and had no wait. We did purchase our tickets ahead of time.
The workers were very friendly and even got animals attention and brought them over right up to where we were standing.
They had this cool motion detecting dinosaur area. My kids loved it and kept asking to ho back.
Food was good. The prices were fair. About $10-14 per meal. And $8 for kids meals. It was good.
We went on the train ride and it was about 12 minutes long. But we went through the entire zoo.
They had a very fun playground for the kids.

Really great place to enjoy with family and kids. You have to visit several times to same places to see the different behavior types of animals. If you have bikes bring with you, that’s easy to hang around the area. Animals are really active when they are ready to their feeding time. So you can see their random features at that time. But you can’t see them when they having their foods. Specially tiger, Chita, panther and lion. The Jurassic world is really fantastic. When we go near to each animals they will start to act.
Pushpani Madushani — Google review
The zoo is a great place to go and we were fortunate enough to see a lot of the animals. Sometimes you can go and they are all hiding and sleeping. It will be nice once they have the train working again as well as the bike rentals. However, children are allowed to bring their bikes and scooters and I would recommend this because it is a large area to cover if you have short kid legs. I would love to see a bigger selection of food offering there...even a Triple O's would be good! The line up for the food was quite long and so I would recommend bringing some snacks for the kids in case they get grumpy in the line up, or when you are on the opposite site of the zoo from where the food is. The gift shop had nice things in it and resident peacock was super fun for the kids to follow around. There were probably about 5 empty animal exhibits when we went that are waiting for new animals to come. All in all a great day, and we enjoyed getting to watch the wolves get fed!

This place should close. What a pathetic overpriced joke of a place. Wanted to bring my friend’s 14 month baby to see some animals. You’re better off hiking for free, you’ll see way more animals there. See attached photos of empty enclosures for reference. First of all the parking situation, why is there no option for an hourly rate? $8.00 for the whole day even though we just showed up for the last hour. Insane.
Guy with the brown hair at the front has zero customer service skills, literally sitting at the front admission window doing nothing. Doesn’t say anything as I’m standing there and points his thumb behind his shoulder for me to go to the next window. $33 fee to be disrespected as soon as we arrive? Nice!
I hope this zoo goes out of business. Won’t ever come back. Do not waste your time or money here.

To be expected. kinda sad, kinda cool. It was really hot so the big cool kitty's were no where to be seen and every animal was hiding in some sort of shade. There was triplet orphan grizzly cubs and one was extremely stressed from everything and was pacing for the whole time we were there. Gift shop was good, definitely recommend renting a bike due too lots of walking.

Always loved this zoo. Lots of beautiful creatures to see. And the staff is really kind and knowledgeable. Love hearing the story about Boomer the lion. Also the two white lions, brother and sister, are super sweet together.
Definitely considering getting the membership pass so I can visit throughout the year.

Compared to the other zoos we have been to, this one is not “as crafted” as the others, in a good way. All the animals have the choice to be super close or very far away from the visitors, which makes every visit different so getting a membership is the way to go if you plan to visit more than two times a year plus free parking. Parking is $8 and is not refundable even if you get your membership at the end of your first visit (your admission tickets are). The membership doesn’t cover the train so you will need to pay each time you ride. There is also a nice playground in the zoo and many picnic tables throughout the zoo.

Been quite a few years since we visited the zoo. Decided to check out the red pandas. A bit annoyed that you have to pay for parking in addition to the admission. Would consider buying the annual family pass if visiting more than once.
Great place to bring the whole family out, especially with younger children. Good way to be outdoor and get some exercise for the whole family. It also has several picnic areas.
Able to see most of the animals. Sometimes they tend to be inside or hide at some corner at the back. Just have to look for them. Most of the old favorites are still there. The red pandas are definitely the star attraction. Hopefully the zoo can sustain itself financially and enhance its conservation effort.

Having visited the zoo for the third time, I've noticed some significant changes over the years. Firstly, purchasing tickets online not only saves money but also bypasses the in-person queue hassle. The ample and complimentary parking adds to the convenience. While they offer family cycles and wheelchairs, they come at a slightly steep price. However, the abundance of benches scattered throughout allows for ample rest breaks. With a diverse range of rescued and bred animals, including my first encounter with flamingos, and a charming miniature Jurassic Park, it's an ideal educational spot for kids. Although the walking distance can be tiring – nearly 12k steps – it was a delightful visit, especially when accompanied by family.

The zoo is a great place to visit, rain or shine. It has great paths and is a good walk with lots to see. You are able to bring bikes or scooters as well for the kids. There are lots of different animals to see and each one has an information plaque so you can learn more about them. They have daily talks about the different animals, so there are always opportunities to learn more and ask questions. The bears are my favourite and I love watching them play And at the end, the playground is always a highlight for the kids to play on.

Really like this zoo! We will come again. It is a lot flatter than most other zoos I've been to, which is great for strollers walking with kids! We enjoyed all the animals as well as how close you can get to the animals. The Dino exhibit and train were perfect for our 4 year old!

Family fun day. Would definitely recommend that to family with younger kids. We went there early an hour after opening. It was great and my kids really enjoyed riding their bikes and seeing all the animals.

Lots of paid parking and pay online with a bar code. Nice and easy.
Pd at the gate and not given any instructions or a map. We only saw 2 on-site maps to read to find our location and are next direction, and that was disappointing.
Highly recommend taking the train. You will miss a few pens/animals, but it is approximately 10,000 steps to walk the park. Small kids and some adults find the walk too much.
Lots of animals and kids really enjoyed it.
Bought the mini donuts 🍩 and only 7 in the bag! Don't buy them, overpriced for what you get and not that fresh.
Great day out, took us 3 hours

Wonderful experience! The place is big, and it has a lot of animals; they look healthy and good. It has a train to go around the zoo, it costs 8dls, and the trip is around 20 minutes. I don't have food, but you can bring your food. It has only a tiny Coffee shop, Starbucks, with Coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
Elizabeth Rodriguez Javier — Google review
We visited in the late afternoon and it was getting chilly so lots of animals were inside or hidden away sleeping. But still got to see lots of animals and many were still active and got to see them up super close! We went though fairly quickly and it took us about 1.5 hours, but could easily spend much more time there. Definitely in my top 3 zoos ever visited and will be coming again if/when we're back in the area!

So glad to have discovered this place, we went on a rainy day so light crowds but it’s so massive I wouldn’t worry which day you go. We walked over 5km, it’s a very nice setting, stroller, bike and scooter friendly. We spent 2.5 hours there at a steady pace.
You can rent quad bikes for $25 hour but we saved the money and got a bit of exercise. They have lots to see from endangered snow leopards, young grizzly bears to pink flamingos. It’s well kept and the enclosures seem up to best practice for animal mental and physical health. There is a bit of a mud issue in some enclosures but I assume that is partly seasonal.
They also have a surprisingly impressive dinosaur exhibit, I thought they would be static but they are all animated!
It’s a must do if you have kids but also just a great option for a nature walk and picnic. There’s lots of parking too.

The zoo boasts an extensive collection of animals, providing a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about wildlife in a fun and interactive way. From majestic lions to playful otters, the zoo houses a variety of species that captivate the imagination of young minds.

Great way to spend time in nature and learn about animals...fun to have train ride and amazing to enjoy family bike...only thing which is not organised is food area they are very slow....takes long time to get your food. So take your food along and enjoy.
Lots of areas to sit and have fun...

A pretty small place (in such a big city) with fewer animals than expected. The train ride was fun, thanks to the jolly loco pilot with a fun personality. Most memorable? Being up close and personal with wallabies and witnessing a peacock making a beeline for the ice cream shop. An eye-opening experience for our kid so admission ticket and parking prices are inconsequential.

Great spot to take the family. Bring the kid's bikes or scooters as it's a great way to keep them moving around the large grounds of the zoo. If your local season passes are an excellent value for $.
Golden Ears Provincial Park is a sprawling outdoor recreation area located just an hour away from downtown Vancouver. It boasts a massive lake that offers a variety of aquatic activities, and is also home to three different campgrounds and numerous hiking trails. The park is renowned for its scenic trails and ample parking space, making it an ideal destination for hikers, trail runners, walkers and picnic-goers alike. Additionally, boat/kayak rentals are available during the summer months.
One of the better parks around, some of the best trails/hikes around. Ample parking for all your friends and then some. Trail runners and walkers enjoy the multitude of trails all around. Ideal weather is a dry 20+ degree day, but even on a 7 degree late winter day was nice, especially with all the picnic tables available. Boat/kayak rentals in the summer also make it a nice day out

I have now been here twice with different friends this summer. Day pass was required to enter certain parts of the park due to peak visitor season, so it's completely understandable. The pass is free and easy to get online. The park staff checking passes are efficient and friendly (and probably tired of some people's attitudes - be kind, they're awesome people).
The first hike was on one of the more challenging ones, the Lake Viewpoint Trail, which lead to a view that was once grand but now is a bit overgrown and difficult to see the lake. Absolutely still worth the hike, let me tell you. Beautiful canopy covered trail, that snakes up and down a fairly steep mountainside. (First 5 photos are of this hike).
The second hike was a much more relaxed and long walk at the Lower Falls trail, which let to many stunning spots along the river. The wide gravel trail (watch your step for large rocks poking out!) is stroller and wagon friendly, so taking the tiny humans along is easy enough. Lots of large families going in and out. As the trail progresses it gets more narrow, but is still wide enough to drive a small car through (though seriously do not). The falls itself is quite beautiful with the potential to be mesmerizing to the senses.
(The last 10 photos are of this hike.)

This is a must see when visiting BC! The lake is breathtaking and looks like it belongs in a painting! This is our favourite morning stroll spot, we grab some Starbucks then spend the morning enjoying what Golden Ears has to offer. Really worth seeing. You will need a reservation to visit before 4 pm but spots free up and are easy to book using the online site.

Our experience of Aloutte Lake was overwhelming. The lake was so Beautiful and the whole area was serene. Just a heads up for those travelling by bus or taking a cab- there’s no bus servixe or cab service while going back unless you have hired a cab for full day. There’s no mobile network as well. Overall, a beautiful place!

We have been trying short walks with our dog. In Golden ears we have tried the Gold Creek Falls trail which is extremely accessible stroller not a problem. Our most recent was the trail around Mike Lake. On this trip it was after an entire day of steady rain. Clean clear water was flowing every where. There was one spot where the water accumulated and the paths available were limited and mostly swamped. Humans did OK. Dog required a bath. Of the 2 the Gold Creek trail was the most beautiful landscape and the Mike Lake the most like real hiking.

It was my first time camping. I went there with my friend who booked camp site . The grounds are big enough for 2 trucks although you have to pay. $12 for second one and we set up 6 tents large size with 3 canopy. Fire is still not allowed but you can use propane fire pit . The walk is very less to lake and views are splendid. Don’t leave food outside unattended . Don’t keep food inside tent at any time . They had flush toilet n clean water tap but night time it’s dark so really good to keep torch flashlight on you after sunset .

This is for the south beach and trail area. The waterfront lake here has many picnic benches that will fill up quickly during the warmer season. Come here early if you want to use one. A lot of park goers BBQ, play ball games, canoe or kayak and enjoy time with friends and family. There are plenty of parking that if the first set of parking space is unavailable, the second set will have your back. The trails in this area is quiet, legible and peaceful. In busy seasons, the washrooms can get full to the point where you have to wait in line or use the outhouses. There is a fountain right in front of the public washrooms for drinking water, not for cleaning activities.

Recently one of my top places to go camping or hiking. Most of the time is packed, and specially during weekends so you have to plan quite in advance, but once you make it you will be grateful, because it’s stunning out there!!

Huge provincial park with lots of trails, parking spaces, and camp sites. I went in mid February and although it was still a bit chilly, there were already some people out camping. The views are spectacular. Public washrooms are available as well as benches, picnic tables, and bear proof trash cans. It is a must visit place in the summer for those who love nature.

Golden Ears is one of the largest parks in BC spanning more than 150K acres and hosts a large number of hiking, cycling and horse riding trails. Each trail offers unique and beautiful sights of snow-capped mountains, lake, waterfalls, stream of snow melt water, lush green vegetation and beaches.
There are camping sites available here but you need to reserve them well in advance as they are very popular. The parking here is also quite limited and if you want to park near the entrance of trails, you need to get here early in the morning. As the day progresses, you may need to park by the roadside.
Do note that there is no phone reception here. So, plan your visit accordingly and download offline maps before heading to this park. That said, there's probably no better place near Vancouver to disconnect from everyday life and enjoy the bounty of natural beauty this park offers.

The hiking trails in this park are perfect for a good workout. The terrain is a mix of loose pebbles and packed earth and is fairly well maintained. The entire trail is well shaded and is a perfect place to escape the mid day sun.
I've done this trail 3 times now and only came across another group a couple of times, so if you dont like crowds, this is a good place to go.
I would definitely recommend this trail to others.

Lots of campgrounds and amazing experience for camping off the grid since no cellphone reception at the gold creek campgrounds. Sign for bear in area were up everywhere and so it's important to follow park rules and safely dispose garbage promptly. Loved the overall experience and the hot showers made sure we stayed clean through out our camping trip. Park doesn't have fire pits for rental so please bring your own Propane firepita during fireban.

One of my favourites campsites, again freaking hard to get spot on weekends………. The place is always quiet and clean and the campground size just bigger enough for two tents ⛺️ and a tiny one for dog. I enjoyed the water in the lake even though it’s always cold 🥶. Shower is good, it’s warm not hot which I personally prefer hot shower…….only downside is you ain’t get no signal here , which is kinda good no phones no internet, just chills and enjoy camping.

Clayburn Village Store is a charming attraction in Abbotsford, situated at the base of Sumas Mountain. Established in 1905, it was the first company town in British Columbia and offered various amenities to its employees. The village boasts several museums and cultural sites nearby. Visitors often stop by for a break during road trips and are delighted by the store's offerings. The shop provides an array of delicious treats, including homemade sausage rolls and nostalgic candies.
If you want candy or other great unique finds, this is the place to go! They have so many rare old candies and unique treats from back when we were kids. So much to look at being a heritage building, will definitely be back for ice cream when the weather gets warm.

Stopped here as a leg stretch before our road trip and this place did not disappoint. Family road trip, all of us adults, and we spent almost an hour perusing the delicious treats, reminiscing about candies from day of yore. My brother devoured one of their homemade sausage rolls (which he said was so good) and we picked up a bag full of sweet goodies to keep us entertained for the next week. Everyone in the store was really nice, helpful – and the place was well organized, fully stocked and neat as a pin. Great way to start our family vacation!

So glad that Castle Fun Park is open again! We had such a blast on Canada Day, racing Go Karts, Axe throwing, Bowling, Laser Maze, and playing the new life size Hungry Hungry Hippo game as a family. There's such a large variety of arcade games, air hockey, pool tables and more - something for everyone.
The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The popcorn was extra buttery just as I like it. And the kids loved being able to earn tickets for all the prizes at the end of the day.

Fun place for the kids. Start with the low price 1st as the amount is non refundable but the card doesn't expire. So if you live around, then it's not an issue but if you come for a visit then start with less load first and then refill as and when required. Games start from as low as 0.40 cents I guess and goes up till $2-4 per game. Hope this helps.

I had a high expectations on this place and thought the arcade games are cheaper but it’s very disappointing. We spent only 1 hour in the arcade room and it costs us $60 with the 2 kids. Most of the games cost 65 cents and some of them cost more than $2 per game and each game only last for 1 minute or so.

Castle Fun Park is one of the recreational attractions in Abbotsford BC. It has various games and attractions for diverse ages of people and features shooting games, karaoke, Go-carts, fuss ball, rides and lots more. Entry to the park is free but playing the games requires real money. Players can also earn tickets from the games they win which they can use for park souvenirs.
Castle fun park also offers venue for parties such as birthday celebrations. Last time I checked, reservations were not required; they serve whoever gets to the venue first based on availability of space. In my opinion, this may not be a good arrangement because people will want assurance that a proposed venue for a party will not be taken by other because reservations were not taken.
The staff at Castle Fun Park are courteous and friendly, and very eager to help customers in resolving whatever issues they may have with the facilities.

We went on a Tuesday night during spring break and hardly had to wait at all. Typical arcade prices but there is a lot more games for all ages and several levels to this place. Best part is there's bowling go karts mini golfing shooting range pool and air hockey on top of all the regular arcade games. We put $50 on each person's card and played everything for about two and a half hours. Only downside is there's literally nothing substantial to eat except for pizza between noon and 5:00 p.m., and you can't bring food with you so feeding a family with children is difficult.

Great place for a stopover on your way back home, or if you want something to do with a group for a few hours. Prices are fair, so you can have a great time without spending a lot of $ like other arcades and rec rooms. The stars were aligned on our visit today (we didn't arrive 1 hour before they close, like usual lol, and the attraction wasn't closed for maintenance like last time) and we finally got to try the indoor mini golf (underwater adventures) for the first time. It was a blast, we'll definitely come back during summer to try their outdoor mini golf.

You can take some great pictures at the waterfall and the bridge.
At the base, if you go right, there are a couple of sheltered tables for a picnic and then in the same area you can get right into the water flowing from the waterfall.

One of my favorite day trip destinations from Vancouver. Beautiful shirt hike up to the big waterfall that has a viewing platforms and a long suspension bridge. Safe for families with kids too! Informative board so you can also learn while visiting.

A beautiful hidden gems, a great place to take a day trip. You can take a short hike to the falls which is spectacular, a cool suspension bridge along the route.
There is a nice size parking lot, a few picnic tables! A great place for a picnic, bring a folding chair along as there are only a few picnic tables.

This place is amazing, it's a short hike with some good inclines. When you get to the platform it's well worth the walk. There is a small suspension bridge to cross to the falls for those that need to be made aware. There are picnic tables in a covered area here as well at the lower area.

Beautiful waterfall! Absolutely mesmerising. The drive there was lengthy yet also very scenic. Super short hike up to the suspension bridge and waterfall! I recommend coming early in the morning!

This waterfalls is always a refreshing sight. I saw it on Fall and Summer time. The picnic area is tiny but the river below is a lovely spot to go for a quick dip. The restroom could get a little bit of cleaning.

Beautiful falls- good for half day trip from civilization. No parking fees - no entry fees.
People please don’t litter the place. They have trash cans everywhere. 🙏 let’s keep this beauty as it should be.

Beautiful little hike. Very well kept trails and bathrooms. Always clean. Nice chill hike up to the suspension bridge. A little stair climb til you reach a look out point for the falls. The suspension bridge is solid. Great grip for your shoes, you won't slip. Can get really busy on the weekends, especially after 10am. The falls are beautiful. This time of year, it's not raging but still amazing. Enjoy the spendor of nature.

A short, easy climb (only about 200 meters or so from the parking lot) to a stunning waterfall. If you cross the suspension bridge, watch your step getting on and off if it is wet. The metal piece joining the bridge and the platform is slick! We watched a couple people nearly fall.
The picnic area is worth checking out as well. Bring a lunch and a towel and dip your feet into the crisp, clean mountain water!

We were there on a beautiful sunny weekend. Expecting a crowed area but surprisingly was quite enough to enjoy. Stunning view and place to dating and deep jump in crystal clear water. I can’t describe the beauty of the place. Highly recommended 🤩🤩🤩

Beautiful! I went during the sun zero temperatures to see if it had frozen, it did not disappoint! It was like a winter wonderland, absolutely spectacular!

One of the best waterfalls in Fraser Valley. It’s an easy 10 mins walk from the parking lot. The hike is pretty easy and when you go up, you are welcomed by an amazing suspension bridge and the evergreen Cascade Falls.
It gets pretty busy during the weekend. People tends to go near the bottom of the falls and relax for a while. There is a small picnic area where you will find enough space to have your meal and chitchat with your friends and family. The washroom facility is not great though and it can be improved.

It's a perfect weekend getaway spot for some calmness and away from crowds. This place offers the best vibes of the waterfall, and the sound of the water heals the chaos of the mind. It's a short hike from the parking spot, and there is a suspension bridge, too.

Trail to the waterfalls was pretty slushy, otherwise it’s pretty straightforward. Beautiful spot but nothing else to see but the waterfalls. If going for the day maybe pair it with something else, this area has a lot of nature to appreciate.

Been visiting this place often as it is so close - easy access ( the road off the main road could use some tlc for the sinks but, really, its such a beautiful place to see. Just drive slow on the 1km road. Easy walk up but steepish - totally worth the view. Good year round to see! Pets are usually out here on leash with family

Definitely need a car to access this fall, easy kid and pet friendly trail. You would see a small suspension bridge and a misty spot to capture the beauty of this fall.

The Cultus Lake Waterpark is a popular destination for families seeking water-based rides and activities. The park offers a variety of thrilling slides, spray areas, tubing, hot tubs and more that are sure to entertain kids of all ages. In addition to these attractions, the park also has attentive life guards and many onsite eateries.
Great place with tons of awesome slides, pools and spray areas. All kids of all ages love it here and everyone is happy all day. Attentive life guards. The only thing that really threw us for a loop was a self serve buffet bar for burger toppings. Not covid friendly in the least. So we ordered fries and chicken strips and left it at that!

Great experience. This is the first time in my life that I took any water ride and that too very high scale ride. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My kid just loved it.

We took our three kids here last summer and they had a great time. We only saw them when they were hungry. We rented two deck loungers and that is now a thing we need to do every time we go back. We were shaded, we were comfortable, and we were happy to stay as long as the kids were having fun.

Cultus Lake Waterpark is a fantastic place for families with kids, as my recent visit with my 6 and 11-year-olds proved. The park offers a wide array of water slides and attractions that kept my kids entertained for hours. From thrilling slides to the lazy river, there was something for everyone.
The only downside we experienced was the park's policy against bringing in our own BBQ. While we understand the need for safety and cleanliness, it would have been nice to have the option to cook our own food, especially for families with dietary restrictions or picky eaters. However, the park does have a variety of food options available for purchase, including snacks, drinks, and meals.
Overall, our experience at Cultus Lake Waterpark was fantastic. The kids had a blast, and we appreciated the park's commitment to safety and cleanliness. We would definitely recommend it to other families looking for a fun day out.
Pradip Ghimire — Google review
Really nice park and tons of attractions but absolutely not worth the price when attending with very young kids. There should be a lesser rate for toddlers and their parents.
Additionally, I was somewhat put off by the number of people wearing pants and long sleeve shirts on the slides and in all the pools. There just seemed to be more dirt, grass and floating debris in the pools, which I couldn’t help but think might be due to all of the fully clothed people, but I could be wrong.
Overall, I’ve had better experiences here in past years but maybe it was just an off day, the park has been kept up well with lots of new additions. Worth attending if you are okay with paying an arm and a leg.
Amber Pahlke — Google review
Administration doesn’t care about its little visitors. My little daughter went off this slide and scraped her leg. Look where the child has to went off on this slide! A hard (like sandpaper) and uneven surface awaits the child below. Be careful!

My daughter likes this waterpark. We had a great day here.
Easy parking. Quick check in (We arrived 10.10 in the morning). $10 parking and $10 umbrella rent is acceptable. Great grass for rest with fresh air and great view. Grab&Go food is good.
Make sure you get everything you need before you leave your car. No return allowed.
One problem is it’s really overcrowded. We went there on Thursday. It’s beyond its capacity so that every slide has a very long line, especially in the afternoon.
Wei Sun — Google review
This park started in 1984. The facilities are in reasonable shape considering its age. There are slides/play areas tailored for each age/risk-tolerant group from toddler to seniors. Staffs are friendly and attentive to guests' safety. Bring your slippers with you when hitting the bathroom, which might be the one of the few weakness of the entire park. Hot tubes' sanitary might be the next. Park get crowded by 11am on a weekday in August, so can't imagine the busyness over weekends. Each ride's queue takes around 15 minutes. Scan the park to find the shortest line might save your some time. Portable tent is a must-have for hot days and for better privacy. Rental umbrella easily knocked down by wind. Cargo cart is prevailing in the park and essential if you carry lots of stuff with you, but the park thoughtfully offers a loading zone right in front of the entrance.

I have not been in this place for almost a decade! Went on a sunny day after a few days of camping. My family and friends and their kids had a blast here! The cabana we rented out is perfect for our big group. Love their tots are; great for my 14mos old, even for my almost 4yo kid as the water is warmer and very shallow. I should say that most of the rides are still there, from what i remember. The cabanas and shaded picnic tables are a big addition to this place. We will do one more trip before summer ends.
Pamela Esprit — Google review
The water park overall is very entertaining and has many attractions, however, even on weekdays the waiting time per each slide is around 30 minutes, there are also no large swimming pools for leisure swin.

Cultus Lake Waterpark is a splash hit for all ages! We went to the Waterpark on a Wednesday morning; it was overcast with light rain at the start and it was fantastic!
We arrived at 9:30 - about 30 min before it opened - and there were about 7 or 8 groups already in line. The queue area is covered and protects you from the rain or sun depending on the weather. The checkin process was quick with the longest being the bag and food check.
If you arrive early you can get a free covered picnic table to set your things out for the day. As the weather was crummy and we were there early there was no issue getting a spot.
The kids were able to have the run of the place for the first hour plus as it wasn’t too busy due to the weather and it being mid-week. There is a very wide selection of water slides to choose from, in size, twistiness, soakability, and scare factor; but regardless of which one you choose it is sure to be fun! The kid’s favourites were the Valley of Fear, Black Hole, and the Bazooka bowl! The slides are starting to show their age with some wear but it doesn’t detract from the fun.
The food is expensive and the quality is pretty meh. The best deal is obviously the ice cream with the portions being massive. You are probably fine getting a single as none of the kids could finish the double scoop they got.
Parking is $10 and you pay when you leave.
Overall Cultus Lake Waterpark is a great time, especially if you go on a rainy Wednesday! Otherwise I would definitely recommend buying your tickets in advance!!
Clayton C. — Google review
Ridiculously poor. See photos.
Used diapers and trash in the parking lot should have served as a warning.
We arrived late and paid for reduced tickets at 1630. In the 2.5h we had, we managed 4 rides due to appalling queues and overcrowding.
We recognized this as soon as we were in the park and due to the long lines and horrifically long lines we immediately asked for a refund but we're declined because the staff onsite lack any authority to give one.
I first visited this place on the late 80s and had fond memories and was excited to bring me kids here. It looks like it's been left to rot since this time with flaky paint, stained slidesz rust, litter and more.
I'm fortunate enough to have visited many water parks in different countries inc. Austria, Spain and UAE. THIS WAS RHE WORST BY FAR.
Avoid it.
Greg Bullock — Google review
It's a damn good time....BUT....I kinda thought buying the tickets online would mean they limit entrance....nope...its frigging packed expect to wait 30 minutes at minimum for tube rides and 15 for body slides. One was over 45 min, and an hour by time you actually get out of the slide.
Lazy river was completely packed, same as pirate ship, kids pool/slides, you're tripping over people all day period.
The rules could use an update at canyon tube. 2 adults and 3 kids(450lbs maybe) can't go in a tube, but 4 250lbs adults can go just fine even though weight limit is 800lbs....don't make sense to me, rules are rules after all.
Overall it's fun, but do not expect to go anywhere fast.

A beautiful 88 feet Twin waterfall located in the Mt Baker National Forest area which featured in the movie Deer Hunter . It can be accessed by driving a primitive road .
There is a short trail that leads down to an overlook . The overlook is well fenced . There is a lot of parking space available .

We visited the Falls in August 2022, while exploring the Mt. Baker Scenic Byway. It is impressive. There is a short, easy trail to the falls viewing spot. The gravel road leading to the parking area is in decent shape for any vehicle. Highly recommended.

No hiking required. This is more of a overlook. Does need drive on a gravel road.

This place is wonderful (even on a very gloomy and rainy day). The falls offer magnificent views and the roaring white water makes the day. The drive to the falls is through dense green vegetation.
There is ample parking space but the lack of conveniences would be missed.

Awesome falls, we went today to this falls, with the recent rain there is heavy flow in the river as well as in the falls, lot of gust from the falls. No rest rooms in the falls area, parking is limited but not much crowd as well. You can have top view of the falls, you can also go near the river which is under the bridge.
Porkaipandian Gopalakrishnan — Google review
Easy walk to the falls Viewpoint. No restrooms though in this place.
Sowmya — Google review
The falls are dramatic and a short drive off the main road. You follow a gravel, one lane road, for a short distance to a parking area. We visited mid-week and only saw a couple other people.
The signage to the falls is a bit before the turn, but the turn itself does not mention the falls (Wells Ck Rd).
Warning signs describe the danger of getting too close to the falls, and has a list some of those who have perished. It is a scary drop off on the other side of the fence.
Wayne O — Google review
Nice little falls, easy access for viewing, but it is dangerous outside of the designated areas. The gravel road to the falls is narrow, but has some pullouts. There is also a parking lot big enough for about a dozen cars (more if people park well).

Beautiful fall and river. There is overlook area which does not require a lot of hike. My parent 65+ could easily walk up to the viewing area. There is fence on the side of the fall for protection, however the river side is easily accessible.

It's a small park but they have rehabilitated an old salmon spawning stream putting it back to what it was before we humans put our footprint on it. It has very refreshing easy to walk hiking trails through the forest and sign boards explaining different highlights along the way.
This large, picturesque lake surrounded by forest & mountains offers fishing & boating.
One of the best lakes to swim late summer. Warm water despite it coming straight from the glacier that you can see from the lake. Good camp spots, the day use areas are what we use every summer at least once. A bit of a drive but worth it. Basically no cell service though. A couple picnic tables. Water, pit toilets. One side of the lake is developed camp sites, the other is a hiking trail, you choose your adventure. Wish I had better photos, the view of Mount baker from the middle of the lake is incredible!

Beautiful hike in the woods at Baker Lake South Trail on the way to the Anderson Point Campground on July 11, 2017. It was a short hikes approx 4 Miles round trip up and and down the hills with beautiful some old growths of cedar trees. I love the boardwalks in some parts of the trail. The little bridge to cross the creek 10 minutes before the campground is damaged or washed off (hopeful it's fixed by now). It was difficult to access to the other side however we saw two hikers made it across on their hands and knees with their huge packs.

Mt. Baker Ski Area is an extensive winter sports destination that boasts a diverse selection of trails suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. The resort offers various services such as rentals, lessons, and restaurants to cater to visitors' needs. For beginners seeking instruction, the ski area provides excellent facilities, including a beginner chair lift and bunny slopes ideal for practicing new skills at a comfortable pace.
Went to Mt Baker in March 2022, my first visit to the states since the pandemic. Compared to Canadian mountains it was pretty quiet, despite being a beautiful bluebird day.
To be honest, I’m not much of a skier - this was my only day of the season, but what a day it was. Beautiful terrain, rugged mountains, good facilities (pictured lodge is very well done), decent food, live music on weekends in the day.
My only complaints -
1. Gear rentals close either 30 minutes or an hour before last lift. That’s really annoying and dissuaded me from renting a helmet as I wanted to maximize time on slopes.
2. I’m a bit acrophobic, but fine with secure heights. I was really surprised to see quite a few lifts without safety bars. I don’t always put the bar down, but given the height on some of those chairs it made me pretty uncomfortable.

This has been one of the best ski experiences I have had in the state of WA. The slopes were reasonably rated (green, blue, black), the slopes were groomed and all the staff was friendly and helpful. Treated myself to a private lesson which was well worth the money and came out feel like a much better skier.
Also the food was pretty reasonable and extremely tasty!

Great place to visit. Lot of absolute scenic views. Kids love sledding here. Only thing missing here in summer is some food joints or any activities. Came here early October for some Fall scenery and gorgeous Mt. Shuksan views-The Ski area, Picture Lake and Heather Meadows are wildly beautiful this time of year! Lots of trails for hiking and a very cool drive up to Artist's point for the best views of the area. It's a wonderful weekend day trip! There is nearby lodging on the by way up here and some campgrounds in the area (check ahead for closures) for longer trips. You will need to get a pass, or pay for day usage/pass at the Glacier rest area/ranger station machine near the map boards.

The vibe here makes it my happy place. It's got more soul than anywhere I've skied in the PNW. The Heather Meadows Lodge reminds me of midweek days at Whistler's Glacier Lodge in the 90s if it was run by hippies from Nelson/Whitewater. Wholesome veggie foods and fresh-baked buns, craft everything, lodge cats (!) lounging wherever, some dude playing... rando music (?) on a steel drum, tons of fresh snow and sun sparkles blowing by. Baker makes me feel it's completely possible to quit work, drop out, live in my car in the parking lot, magically ski everyday and feel like the luckiest person on earth.

Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park is a 32-hectare recreational area that offers a pleasant hiking trail leading to a waterfall. A viewing platform allows visitors to enjoy the stunning view of the waterfall, which provides therapeutic sounds and drops of water. The park also features picnic areas for relaxation and enjoyment. Visitors can indulge in cold therapy by taking towels and swim gear for swimming in the refreshing water.

Beautiful, old forest trail hike to the spectacular falls. Well-maintained, short, easy, but fairly steep gravel walking path with helpful steps in certain areas. To and fro in 30 minutes - but add time for the many photo opportunities. Picnic tables, restrooms, and a fair-sized parking area makes for a perfect family day visit. Mossy limbs of the towering evergreens gives a magical feel to this park. Loved it! Enjoy!

Lovely short walk in the woods to arrive at the Bridal Veil Falls which is a gorgeous waterfall. Parking space was limited during the end of March as the main parking lot was not opened, so most cars parked on the side of the road. The walk to the falls is not difficult but it has a slight incline. Good place to stop by for the young and old. There is a gas station, diner, and campground nearby.

There's a bit of a "hike" to get there, around 10 mins, maybe, not tough at all. I was so excited to go there that I ran up the hills lol. It's a tiny bit steep, but the view you see along the way is very beautiful!! the falls are so pretty in the sunlight, so I think it's best to go in the afternoon (that's the time I went, and that's the time the sun hits it prettily)

What a beautiful, amazing and spectacular waterfall.
It's literally a 2 minute drive off the highway. If you have 30 minutes to spare make sure you stop in here. Its a 15 minute hike through the forest, mostly uphill. The climb to the very bottom of the water is a little intense. The summer months are usually packed with tourists. But on this beautiful fall day we had the falls all to ourselves!

Visiting here was an awe-inspiring journey into nature's grandeur. The cascading waters, a mesmerizing blend of power and tranquility, danced down the rocky cliffs, creating a breathtaking spectacle. The sheer force of the falls produced a symphony of sound that resonated through the surrounding landscape. This had an amazing view of the waterfalls. There was lots of space at the bottom for photos as well as a gate to stop people from going too far in and destroying the natural beauty (even though there were a few people going past it!).
There were also a couple of trail options so you could go one way and come back another, which was excellent.

Loved that the hike was pretty short and easy even with a toddler. You can get to the lower part of the falls within 15 minutes with a slow to moderate speed. It's mostly flat to small incline.
Going to the upper part for a better requires a further 3-4 minute hike which is much more steep and not recommended with kids.

Bridal Veil Falls is simply a breathtaking natural wonder! I must say that it was an experience that left me rejuvenated and de-stressed. One of the things that struck me about Bridal Veil Falls is its accessibility, I have a bad leg so every time we go for a hike I would prefer a trail or hike that is easy or at least not too steep and this is one was perfect as the trail leading to the falls was just about 10-15 minutes, a little bit uphill but not too bad, the trails are well kept and easy to navigate, definitely a hike for all ages and fitness levels. The beauty of the waterfall will not disappoint, the whole experience is a perfect blend of adventure and serenity. Try to choose non peak hours though otherwise it may be difficult to park. It’s also best to go on a sunny day as trails can get slippery especially if you try to climb up right at the top. There are outhouses right before you start the hike. Make sure you have a camera or a full battery on your phone because you will definitely be taking lots of photos!

These falls are a can't miss free attraction located along highway 1 not far from Agassi and Harrison Hot Springs.
The perfect place to take a small driving break and enjoy the wonders of nature at its finest.
The parking area is a small one way loop type area with some spaces for cars and tour busses, so you should be aware it can be very busy especially during the summer months.
Outhouse style washrooms are located just off of the parking area as well as picnic areas before you enter the trail. The hiking trail is not difficult and splits into two branches, either trail will take you to the base of the falls.
The hike itself is perhaps 10 mins and easy with a slight grade in some places but very manageable for pretty much everybody in your family.
It is highly discouraged to go past the barriers at the foot of the falls, and you will see a bright yellow warning sign advising you not to cross the barrier, however you will immediately notice a large percentage of people climbing past the barrier to scrabble up the hill to get closer to the falls (I did), but be warned ⚠️ It is a steep incline, it's wet and muddy and very slippery with any number of tripping hazards and very sharp rocks and boulders, climbing this you are risking injury and death from a fall.
That being said if you take the risk, the view is amazing.

Beautiful fall like the bridal dress. Hence the name of course. A bit of a walk upwards so be careful of someone elderly or someone with a knee problem. It's not gonna be pretty. But if you do make it to the fall it is worth the walk. It's a nicely arranged flow of water by nature. So beautiful.

It’s a good hiking trail, the Bridal Veil Falls is beautiful! The glacier water is chilling but it feels good to dip your hands and feet in after an amount of hiking, totally cool you down. But I wouldn’t recommend pple to drink the water there unless you brought a filter or you bring home and filter it yourself.

We stopped by at Bridal Veil Falls before heading to Harrison Hot Springs. I just love the place 😍. I love it in 2004 and I still love it now. It's an amazing provincial park. You feel the calmness in the area.

15 minute hike at a slight incline to the falls, wear good shoes, if you'd like to hike UP beside the waterfall be cautious and have proper footwear, it can be wet and slippery. Lots of bathrooms and a few picnic tables, not TONS of parking but a good stop along the way to somewhere not really impressive enough for a main event.

The falls is beautiful. No parking lot, ppl have to park along the street to the entrance. There were 6 washrooms but 5 were closed, the only 1 left was very dirty. Easy short walk to the falls, worth a visit.
The Harrison Hot Springs Public Pool is a sought-after destination for those seeking relaxation in natural hot springs. Situated in the Village of Harrison Hot Springs, this resort community offers several pools to visitors, including private ones exclusively for resort guests. The highlight is an indoor hot spring-fed public pool with a small fee that provides access to many amazing minerals. Michael Buble has also visited, making it even more popular.
Heard its amazing, unfortunately we missed it as it was closed due to Covid.
Firoz Ozman — Google review
I try to go twice a week and enjoy the mineral water very much.
Grateful the pool is open again, but Harrison Hot Springs Resort is unable to provide reliable staff(lifeguards)and therefore posted hours and days of business are not reliable. Neither is the pool website updated to reflect closures so there really is no way to establish whether or not the pool is open. Very disappointing if you drive a significant distance and it's closed.

If it wasn’t for the amazing pools this hotel wouldn’t survive. It’s floating on old charm but desperately needs an update. Everything is feeling a tad run down. Amenities are not up to standard. Cheap coffee pods in rooms, no tea bags, plastic glasses instead of glass, no microwave. And even with the pools they are piping in a radio oldie rock station over the speakers, so basically no thought into the ambient atmosphere. However, the trip back into the Harrison Time Machine works perfectly in their signature restaurant “ The Copper Kettle” which keeps the ballroom 80’s style fine dining restaurant intact with a lovely menu ( including escargot of course), great wait staff and a swing band on weekends. However, it is pretty cavernous, so for those wanting an intimate dinner setting, I would suggest trying up the street.

It's an amazing place to relax and soak in the warm waters especially during the cold winter months. I found the change rooms, showers, and pool area to be extremely clean.
It was closed recently for 1.5 months so that they could renovate the pool and it really is looking nice now. I would give it 5 stars if the hours they were open the whole day every day like they used to be.
Before you go though make sure you call to ensure it is open as the hours can change day to day do to staffing troubles.

Went to the pool at opening time on a Friday middle of March. Obviously there has been a thorough renovation and cleaning done recently (see other reviews). The place opened on time, is a bit aged but was clean and pleasant . A local waiting with us at the door mentioned that opening times have stabilized recently as more lifeguards have been qualified. Change rooms and showers were pristine (this, of course might change during the day). The pool floor and siding seem to have no issues.
We very much enjoyed our dip in a reasonably empty pool. I liked the architecture reminiscent of a Japanese hot springs environment. Yes, a modern building might be oriented and built differently, but renovated and clean, we had no complaints.
A note to the uninitiated: the hot water is pumped into the pool at the steps. The pool gets gradually cooler towards the far side. The only way to know this is to see a red writing on the floor with an arrow saying "hot" at the steps but you might easily overlook it.
As we paid we were told that the ticket is good for re-entry later in the day if you keep the receipt to present it again.
Will definitely come back, if most likely not today.

Nice, warm. A bit dated but it’s a nice hot pool. It’s all inside which is a bit of a downside. The area has other pools but sadly they don’t allow access to the public even though water is public which I don’t get. But this one does the job if your trying go get your fix of hot spring access or want to visit as many as you can in life. Downside is towels are 4.50 each for rentals. Our fault for forgetting ours. But glad we got to go. outside area around it is very nice. Would recommended camping or family trip this way

The pool and washrooms are filthy and so run down. We used to love going to the pool, but now it is a depressing place to go to. You can see paint pealing off the bottom of the pool. Paint chips on the pool deck. Urinals so stained from water they are disgusting. I dont think any maintenance as been done for years. It is a shame. It looks like the resort who runs the pool, puts as little into the property as possible, to force people to use their facilities. Harrison municipality should be embarrassed.

Just look at the benches outside the front door covered in dust with drug use in evidence when I tried to visit the place I remember as I once used to clean the pool in 1981.
Not only are the staff blind to this but also deaf to every question I asked the young fellow.
Every sentence I spoke had to be repeated providing factual evidence of substance abuse and short term memory loss associated with B.C. bud.
The main l8fe guard office in the lobby also was notable poor cleanliness with litter all over the floor.
Sad degeneration of the 2hole experience of Harrison when they can't even keep grass full and green on the largest fresh 2ater lake in Western Canada.Using such excuses of not being able to afford the chlorination of the 2ater supply system.
S I meones head needs to roll on this and I'm going to the top just to at least say or do something rather than hide my head in the sand or rocks in similarity to a slug.L8ke these so called men in north America are really just a bunch of cowards trying to be accepted by those in high places.

50/50 it all depends on what time you visit, during the day it can be noisy in a chaotic way, loud talking and excessive sounds. It’s not meant for the purpose in which it is intended. Evening has potential to be quiet and serene.

Nothing has changed since my last visit 25 ish years ago. Price for adults were $16 so kinda pricy for single pool that was only around 36° it was warm enough but they added tons of chlorine which defeated the purpose of the said "mineral" bath. It sucks we don't have any decent hot springs in the lower mainland or Fraser Valley that are easily accessible.

If you are looking for a small hot spring pool, this is a good one! The water quality in this public pool is very good. Also, its employees are very nice. We have been there a couple of times. We like it.

It was a great place like 10 years ago, but after covid its been really run down, the paint of the pool is peeling off, washrooms stink and looks so dirty. They dont seem to be cleaning the place at all. Its also very frustrating when on the wedsite they say they are open, but after a long ride (2 hour) they aren’t open. This is disappointing.

This pool is being run by the COMPETING hotel in the same town. Knowing that it would make sense that the pool is always closed since they want you to pay for the hotel instead.

Depressing place in a depressing building. This town setting is beautiful but all the buildings are ugly, rundown and dated. They should build a beautiful indoor outdoor spa pool (think scandanavian spa) in this town - people travel here to be ultimately let down when they see the public pool or the 2 star hotel. Instead of spending money on an info Centre fix up the towns namesake. There are already tourists so why not help local business succeed and make the town a stunning destination. Brew pub to attract people under the age of 70. At least paint the ugly brown pool building with a beautiful mural from local artists. Have some pride!

We planned on visiting during a weekend trip to Harrison in mid-August. Pool was closed. Closed when the town is the busiest. And there was no option to pay to visit the hotel pool anymore.
Ridiculous.

It's not the same as it was long time ago where you can actually see the hot spring upclose and personal and the steam coming from it. Now it's surrounded by enclosed structure with an open window for the steam to get out. The glass is kind of blurry not just from the reflection on the glass but from the steam inside.

Visited the pool today: absolutely depressing feeling, everything is run down, filthy change rooms, slimy showers, hairs on the floor.
The water in the pool is only slightly warm, not hot at all, there is no smell of minerals as it used to be - too much diluted? Therapeutic effect of such water is questionable.
Visiting is pricy for the family of four - costs around 47$, plus more if you want to rent lockers, etc...
This place needs a major renovation.

AVOID this place! 0 Stars!! Horrifyingly filthy!
When we arrived, the staff member said it was at capacity and had no timeline of when we may get in. Not helpful at all.
Once we eventually did get in, we found the place to be in an absolutely filthy condition. The ladies changing room made me feel physically unwell with the amount of hair on the floor and black grime everywhere. This place has not been cleaned in years!!
Felt so disgusted by the state of the changing rooms that could only bear 10 mins in the pool. Awful stale smell around the place too. It needs to be shut down or new management and a deep clean!! It really ruins the reputation of this otherwise cute little town.
Update* I complained to Fraser health about the cleanliness or lack there of. They told me a few people had complained and that they sent a rep to the facility to address issues so hopefully it has improved.

I still rate it a 4 for because it’s fairly tidy, relaxing and uses allot less chemicals then normal hot tubs or pools. But….. Our family didn't have time for an overnight stay at the resort so we decided to do a day trip and soak in the public mineral pool. Yes, the building is dated and it was clean enough. Overall, it was very pleasant and actually quieter and calmer than the resort pool. We soaked in the morning, left for lunch, and went back for an afternoon soak. It was a great experience that we will definitely do again.

First time after COVID, I managed to visit the public pool. The place was busy, I had to place myself on a wait list. The personnel were very friendly, they called me when there was a space. My usual routine is to soak for 20 minutes, followed by a cool off time watching a beautiful view of the lake and mountains through the big window, then soak again for 20 minutes. This gives enough treatment to your body.

Extremely disappointed experience. Made the long drive with my family from North Vancouver on a Monday morning, only to discover that the pool was closed. Apparently, someone didn't bother showing up to work, and the hours were changed without notice. Instead of opening at 10 am as advertised, it didn't open until 4 pm. Complete waste of time and extremely frustrating for my family.

Amazing little spot. No showers! They have running water from the taps like most provincial Campgrounds but this water has to be boiled to drink it. They have pit toilets (outhouse) so again, no running water.
It's quite, no traffic or noise from the city (just generators for 2 hours twice a day). The road in is washboard in places so takes a long time with a trailer but it's not horrible.
The foliage on the trees starts higher up so there is less privacy than some other campsites.
There is absolutely no phone reception at the campsites. If you go to the rocks you can usually send and receive texts but I could only get any data before 7 am. I found this surprisingly refreshing. (I suggest downloading a few shows for kids if you are there for more than a few days).
The lake is fully amazing. It's clean and clear. It's cool but not as cold as Harrison Lake. This is our new favorite Campground!!
Highly recommend it if you can get a spot.

Beautiful campground, but not all sites are created equal. We found some sites to be pretty narrow for our 25' travel trailer, whereas others were much roomier.
All sites are dry-camping sites, so come prepared. Water pump and outhouses throughout the campground. There was a boil water order in effect while we were there (April 2021).
Staff were super helpful and friendly to help us find a first come first serve site. Note that FCFS sites are limited to 1 or 2 night stays and are next to impossible to get on weekends and in the summer. Reservations strongly recommended.

A beautiful and peaceful place to spend a day or more with your family and friends while enjoying a great scenic view of the mountains and of course the lake. Even though I thought that there was no reception, we stayed at the lake side close to Lot 16&17 where we actually got some reception.
Definitely make sure to bring all your necessities as it is a bit of a drive away from stores etc.
This lakeside is ideal for families as it is much quieter and the water is crystal clear.

I spent 2 days here with some friends and we had a blast. Please note there’s no reception at all here, you have to drive 15 minutes or so to find reception. Bring water shoes since the bottom of the lake is moody. No electricity at all either. Beautiful place to camp.

Such a beautiful place. Great for kayaking and paddleboarding around. Theres tables set up for bbq and a great picnic spot. You can also swim and just enjoy the day by the lake. Do note that during summer you need to go early otherwise it gets filled up quick and will be turned back.

Hicks lake is a beautiful place to take your family. It’s a short drive from Harrison. The road is a gravel road so be prepared to drive over a TON of pot holes. The lake is crystal clear. There is ducks and geese there so watch for poop. They have outhouses if you need a washroom but bring you’re own hand sanitizer. They also allow coal BBQs and have bins for dumping hot coals after.

Located an hour and 45 minute drive from Vancouver, the Othello Tunnels are a stunning hiking destination featuring railway tunnels carved through a granite mountain in the early 1900s. Though currently closed for renovations due to flood damage, this picturesque site is well worth the visit when it reopens. The surrounding drive offers beautiful scenery, including a stop in Chilliwack known for their locally produced honey.
We went here last fall season and there is not much people walking and there is a lot of parking space.
We also experience visiting this place in summer season and the parking lot is so full and need to wait to get a parking.
There is a washroom in the entrance of the trail.
Overall this trail park is good for kids and old people cause its flat.

The park is closed for 2022. We went anyway. Absolutely no work had been done so far to repair the damage caused by a flood. It's mostly going to stay closed for quite a while.
It's beautiful, it's grandiose and it's scary. Loved it.
Sebastien Caron — Google review
Hoping that these reopen soon. During the floods in November 2021 they were badly damaged and there hasn't been an update since. Normally they are closed during the winter season so it will soon be 2 years that they are "temporarily closed".
Originally rail tunnels, you can walk from the Othello parking lot into Hope. GPS does fail when you are looking for these tunnels so keep an eye on the signs, don't trust just GPS. They also get super busy so the earlier in the day that you can go, the better. Especially since they got "Instagram worthy" status so most people will only walk to the last tunnel then turn around but there are a few hikes past them, one has a historic marker that goes up and over the mountain.

By far one of the best places to see around Vancouver. It's an hour and 45 mins drive from our place but it's absolutely worth it. It's sad to see the destruction caused by the floods. I believe it's currently closed because it's getting some renovations done and it won't be opening any time soon but can't recommend it enough whenever it opens back up. One of the most beautiful places to see around Vancouver and the drive is great as well. You can stop by in Chilliwack on the way to pick up some honey, they are famous for it.

What a great place to get out and stretch my legs after getting off the island. Parking was a bit touch and go but I was able to get a sweet spot up front. The walk to the tunnels was pretty flat so most people should be able to do it. Just happened to be a beautiful day so the water looked this amazingly blue/green color. Walking over the bridges and checking out the water down below was breathtaking. Highly recommended for all ages and worth the visit. I will be back again on my next pass through..

Once you reach the tunnel you will see the gates closed but all the people including us trespassed through gate and from that point best part start. It’s 4 tunnels in total with great view at the end n between the tunnels. Make sure to carry torch as tunnels are dark although flashlight will work too but torches will be best. Very interesting place to explore on a weekend. Bring your kids and enjoy the walk in tunnels
You will see lots of scenic views.
It is about 30 minutes walk to get to end of 4 tunnels including photo shooting stops.
Tunnels are constructed in early 1900 for Pacific train. The last tunnel shows 1951 on concrete.
Pro tip is to get to the River and place your bare foot and relax.
Parking lot is not good at all and obviously not enough for the demand. Most probably you will end up to park your car on road side like everyone else. It should be about 6-7 minutes walk to the park gate

I went to Fraser River Raft Expeditions with a group of ten girls this past weekend for a bachelorette trip and we had such a fantastic experience! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, reassuring, and so much fun! They really went above and beyond to make the weekend incredible. We did two runs down the Nahatlatch River. Lunch was served in between (sandwiches, watermelon and cookies, all very delicious). They even had a fun special life jacket for the bride!! We practiced flipping the boat in a lake and assisting each other back into the boat prior to the rafting. Some of us were a little hesitant about getting in the water at first but it was really good to practice should we have had to do that while we were going down the river, and definitely helped to calm our nerves. It was the perfect adventure full of laughs that we will certainly never forget! Thank you Josh, Will, Collin, Jonathon and Doug!

While planning for my road trip to Kamloops, I wanted to to stop by a few places on the way, this is one of the recommended place while on road trip to Kamloops. I was travelling over the weekend and I reached there around noon time. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and they guide and answer your questions. I couldn’t explore the house as it was under renovation and as a result I got a cheap pas of $5 ad opposed to $12 regular pass. Amazing to think that 47 million cubic meters came crashing down displacing a lake over the mountain across from it . The site was 3 1/2 km , the rest area is nice , washrooms ok , 3 electrical car chargers free of charge air for tire checks.

Perfect weather when I visited. Incredible to see force of nature, unfortunate loss of lives. Quote solemn.

Nice place with good opportunities.
Picking areas.
You can play with water on a warm day.
You can walk or run.
Look at nature
This was an amazing place for the family dogs and friends we shared a double site was more then enough room. All the facilities were kept in good order and having a Sani dump on site was a big bonus. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely think this was a place a lot of campers should try. The scenery was stunning as well. Water was great temperature for kids and adults as well no leeches, duck itch etc.

The campsites are pretty spacious. We fit a trailer and two large tents on a double site. The park and beach are nice. There were marmots at the park that pop up and down out of the ground. The lake is beautiful and there’s a nice view from the campsites. There are no showers but the outhouses have plumbing. The weather changed daily when we were there. It was pouring rain and then sunny.

One of our favorite places to camp (if not our top fave). Hosts are awesome and friendly, everything is always clean and well cared for, sites have space and trees between, noise curfew is well enforced to make it a great experience for families and those who enjoy a quieter setting.
The algae bloom was cleared when we got there which was amazing!

Far too windy for tents or gazebos. The first time we were here a tree landed on our tent. The camp attendant gave us free firewood for the trouble. The second time the wind snapped our gazebo in half. You can't even sit around the picnic table to have dinner as your food will blow away.
Aside from the wind it's a beautiful park. Lots of spots, spacious, not a lot of trees or shade. It was very dry and hot so a gazebo is a must but it won't stand up to the heavy wind. The hostess was very nice. The place was clean.
The toilets are flushable. The main bathroom has a power outlet. No showers. The drinking water must be boiled.
The lake is beautiful. It's clean and clear. The water flows so it's not stagnant. Its perfect for swimming. The beach is sandy and lined with tons of picnic tables. Most of them are covered picnic tables so you have shade.
The grass area is huge. There is so much room. I've seen people set up badminton nets or have soccer games. Plenty of room for many families.

This one is going on the list of favourite campgrounds! Well-maintained and some spots have lake access (book early). The flush toilets were a relief for more than 2 nights and the lake was perfect to cool off in.

The park boasts a stunning landscape with lush greenery, towering trees, and picturesque trails that lead you to breathtaking viewpoints. It’s well-maintained facilities and amenities also impressed me. The washrooms were clean, and the picnic areas were perfect for a family gathering or a peaceful afternoon with friends. Whether you're seeking solitude, adventure, or simply a breath of fresh air, this is the perfect destination. Great place for camping, water activities.

Nicely manicured grounds, flush toilets, showers available ($), wood and ice for sale. Very family oriented and everyone is in bed by like 10. Strict noise policy to the point of having a 24 hour phone number you can call with complaints. Not a lot of privacy at the sites and they are close together. Beautiful view of the lake. Didn't see a single marmot though 🥺

This park is a fabulous getaway, catering to families. There are numerous signs posted regarding the quiet time, which we really appreciate. The reason for the four stars is that the lake water does not feel clean when swimming. That's not the parks' fault, of course. We took advantage of the trails and the lake to canoe as well as to swim. The park operators are friendly and available. I think their steady presence helps keep campers in line.
Beware the squirrels!!!

Nice quiet campground. Not a lot of tree coverage so very hot in summer. Right next to a huge lake that allows motorboats. Very gravely/rocky beaches so water shoes are a must. Small kids playground and some flushing restrooms with sinks. No showers. Pay sani dump and free water.

Overall review is that it's a nice provincial park with lots to offer. Day-Use and Camping review below.
Road to the park is very bumpy but it's not very far so no big deal. Great views along the way. No through road past the entrance to the park so traffic is not a problem.
Ice and firewood sales available on-site.
Little free library at gatehouse for those looking to get lost in a good book.
Day Use Area:
Parking lot is huge with lots of parking spots. There is a boat launch but I didn't go down to it so can't provide any insight on it.
Picnic tables have nice rooftops built above them and there are lots of tables available.
Big field to play in but watch for uneven ground or holes dug by the local wildlife.
Dog beach for your furry friends.
Informative signs throughout the park about the local vegetation and wildlife although many signs are faded and could use a little tlc.
Lake was nice and water was clear. I waded in and it was cool but enjoyable on a warm day.
Camping Area:
Campsites are nice and spaced, with nice open sites, and sites with trees and shade, providing many options to choose from. Many of the sites are classified as "RVs up to 32ft" or "RVs up to 18ft" even though they are easily large enough for a much larger trailer.
I have a 41'6" bumper pull with a quad cab F-350 and all of the sites I observed in the first loop listed as "RVs up to 32ft" were easily able to fit my truck and trailer without any problem, some sites have big rocks around the perimeter and some don't.
There is a playground in the first loop that looked nice if you have kids with you.
One star lost due to campsites being wrongly designated as 32ft and under when a larger trailer can easily fit.
Another thing to note is reservations cannot be made, via the website, past 1:00PM on the day of arrival even when spots are available, in case you arrive spontaneously. There is a 1-800 number posted, available until 7:00PM.

Nice spacious park with decent washrooms and close to community. The lake is large ...not really a lot of beach near the campsites(dog friendly area) and the road is quite narrow in spots when sharing road between a vehicle and pedestrian or cyclist. The beaver in the lake was entertaining to watch.

It’s such a beautiful place for summer, the lake and its landscape around will leave you with wow. Picnic tables are in good numbers, it has play area for kids, the campgrounds are plenty enough - found many people with camps that could be famous and the road to it from Merritt will not disappoint you. Enjoy!

The good
Excellent provincial park, well kept, sites were raked - gravel base. Tables and sizing were fantastic. Outhouses were flush with running water and sinks.
Ice sold at entry way, beach is wonderful and water views are excellent.
The bad
Because of the flora and Fauna around a sun shelter is a most, don't expect to tarp anything off, the trees are to sparse, most sites see a lot of sun.
The week of August 13 saw a blue/gree algae bloom, not the parks fault, but definitely impacted the enjoyment surrounding the water.

We got a site where there was no tree for shade and we arrived on July 29. The sun was strong, we could not stay longer in the day. The campground offers flush toilets but no showers. Camp sites very close to each other and no privacy. Lake was good and clean water. Was quite in the night and could see stars in the night. Day area was good as well for hangout during the day. You can just buy ice at the office.

This campground is in Nicola lake and has a nice beach as well as a good playground. The area is semi desert and the ponderosa pines are sparse so most spots have little to no shade. Not a party campground, it is quiet.
Tim Challenger — Google review
Great park, family friendly & dog friendly. Helpful and kind staff. Quiet and peaceful campground with good sized sites. Flush bathrooms in easy walking distance from any site. Many sites do not have much shade so bring your own ways to make shade.

Campground is ok, typical for BC parks. Ranger very friendly. Very hilly, some nice sites along water but no shade. No showers. Beach was closed because of blue green algae which made it very hard being so hot out. Far from anywhere else to swim for the day.
