My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at Solitude Links, and it turned out so beautiful! The process leading up to our big day was so easy and the day of was seamless and professional.
Sam — Google review
Our wedding at Solitude Links was absolutely beautiful!!! Jennifer and Dakota were extremely helpful during the entire planning process and were always available to answer all of our questions by phone, email, or in person, and they even gave me a lot of suggestions to help my day go as smooth as possible! They were very flexible with last minute changes and were so great to work with!! They were AMAZING!! We were so grateful our dog was able to be included in our wedding ceremony and besides the incredible location, this was one of the other reasons we chose this venue. Jennifer, Dakota, and the entire team made it such a fun day for us and loved that we could include our dog! Additionally, the entire staff including the servers, bartenders, and management was absolutely PHENOMENAL and could not have been any better! They made everything run so smoothly and were there to help coordinate extra little things including our sparkler exit photo! The food was a 10/10 and so glad to hear the same from all of our guests!! Over a week later and we are still hearing amazing feedback! The service to myself and my husband, our bridal party, and our parents tables was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond for not only us but all of our guests. We can’t say enough good things about this venue and everyone who works here!!!!! It’s an absolutely beautiful wedding location with all of the trees, gazebo, and awesome reception location overlooking the golf course with all of the windows. We had an option of an indoor or outdoor ceremony - even in November we chose the outdoor and it turned out to be perfect!! If you’re considering this venue, I’d say look no further!!😊

Whoever designed this place had a good vision thought everything looked great. The course looked cool . That’s the only reason it’s even getting 2 stars . The bartenders were the worst , terrible attitudes , servers completely mindless . Food was subpar at best . My friends spent a lot of money here for their wedding . Absolutely horrible service too bad.. wanted to like this place the views were great . But service completely ruined it

If you are thinking about getting married at Solitude Links Golf Course and you are reading this then it is your sign to book it because they are AMAZING!
I had a really hard time finding a venue. We are on the larger size of our guest list with 300 people invited (260 attended). I knew I wanted a location that felt outdoors and beautiful- not a box with four bare walls - and I was limited with my options. My now husband loves to golf this course and suggested that we take a look. I originally counted out a golf course with price and the general vibe but, wow did this place change my mind.
When we met with Jennifer we quickly discovered all of the amazing things that this venue has to offer! The hall itself has all its windows creating a 180 view of the course and its beautiful lakes. There is an elevator that accommodates disabled and elderly family members. It has gorgeous hardwood floors and chandeliers that make it feel cozy and natural. The outdoor ceremony location is under a Gazebo and on the water that brings in a touch of the water. For extra space guests can watch from the balcony above which we had plenty of people do and they said it was a wonderful spot! The entrance of this venue is a beautiful corridor that is full of mirrors. We rented two barrels from Dakota (another AMAZING piece of our day) that created an outdoors vibe for our seating chart to sit on. We also rented a backdrop from him that was easy to set up and payment as a preferred vendor with solitude links. For all of our vendors we used what they had as preferred and it was SO accurate. On site there are two suites, one a little smaller than the other. Both have bathrooms in them and the bridal party can have access to them all night. It was PERFECT for me and my 8 bridesmaids, 3 mothers, a flower girl and an aunt to get ready in! We got there at 8 am along with the hair and makeup team. From there Jennifer, Dakota, Bre and the entire team helped us stay on track! They were there to literally coordinate the ceremony, guide me to my photos and assure I was having the BEST time. From the time we walked off from the ceremony we had our own personal waitress that made sure we always had what we needed!
As for the food, it was delicious! We were in an off season package so we had the duet plates and ate the mushroom chicken and hibachi salmon. Everyone raved about it! I personally had the best chicken and tenders of my life because I eat like a child! The bartenders were so kind and polite. Unfortunately I had a family member that was not behaving appropriately. They worked with professionalism and tried to make sure I didn’t know! I loved that they just wanted to make sure I had a good time but, we let them know our appreciation as everyone deserves respect! I know we went through a lot and kept them busy!! Jennifer was so cool and calm when she brought it up and helped me work through the problem without feeling even a bit flustered. She was like a wedding mom and truly is an expert! At the end of the night our lead, Bre, was able to help save my wedding cake so that we could pick it up from them in the morning as our hotel did not have a large cake or freezer to save it. We picked it up the next morning, no problem at all!
Our guests began arriving about 3:30 or so with the ceremony at 5. It was a very beautiful location that made it so waiting was not an issue as there is so much to see! The ceremony was very quick and led right into the cocktail hour and then the wedding festivities. I cannot express enough how smoothly the entire thing went and how much longer we wish it could last! I was so sad to board our shuttle and call it a night. We have a few friends getting married at this location soon and we CANNOT wait to enjoy this location as a guest and truly take it in from the other perspective as we have only heard good things….we have genuinely had multiple people say “I am not joking that was the best wedding we have ever gone to” and I am not joking when I say it is highly in part of Solitude Links!

The kids' prom was held here. Beautiful grounds, etc.
Google maps is absolutely incorrect with the directions. You end up on what turns into something similar to a dirt road, but worse. It might be a good idea to put a sign up until Google makes the correction.

Solitude links was the perfect venue for our wedding day. We knew it was the place for us as soon as we walked the the doors to tour it. We had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour with firepits, cornhole and an outdoor bar. The ambiance of it truly does not make you feel like you are in Michigan. We received so many compliments from our guests on how gorgeous it was. Jenn, the wedding coordinator is phenomenal to work with and never had me feeling worried about my day. The whole staff was truly there to make it unforgettable for us and all my guests were shocked. I truly recommend this venue!

My husband and I had our wedding here on 9/30/2022 and it was an absolute dream. Jennifer & Dakkota are awesome to work with and made the experience so easy. The food at our wedding was AMAZING and multiple guests are still talking about it. The rest of the staff were truly great to be around and were so helpful! If I could do it all over, I would 100% have my wedding here again.

One of the best courses I've played. I will definitely be back. Love the space so you're not hitting people or being hit by wayward shots. Lots of water that is the biggest challenge of the course. Bunkers were not really a problem for me, but there was plenty of them. A few holes were a little too challenging for me, but that makes me want to conquer them next time I come back. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes were all well taken care of. The carts have GPS. It's a bit of a hike for me to get to this place, but I booked another round before I left the parking lot.

As a wedding vendor I had the privilege working at Solitude Links Golf Course. Love the venue, friendly staffs and very accommodating. The outdoor ceremony site is lovely with all the greens. The reception hall is perfect for photos.

Another wonderful round at an amazing course. Granted it's not often you get a 75 degree day close to the end of October, but the course was in great shape. And the staff was their usual pleasant self. To bad the season will need to end soon.

Fairy Tale Wedding
Simply Amazing!!!! If you are looking for a Fairy Tale Wedding with a rustic feel, look no further. This is your venue!
My daughter's wedding was 3 weeks ago and I am still on a magical high. It was worth every penny. Honestly my family and friends can not stop talking about the wedding. We are all obsessed with every picture and every post about this magical day. The weather did not cooperate but it didn't matter. Rain or Shine this venue is perfect!
The staff at Solitude Links are amazing!!! Jen, Jessica, Katelyne, and Dakota did everything in their power to make this special day extra special.
The food was delicious. We had strolling appetizers. We served our dinner family style. Michigan salad, pasta, chicken parm, pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, and roasted veggies.
Dessert...Sarah and Tyler chose Pie instead of cake! They guest loved it. The pies were provided by ACHATZ. We had a pie station with ice cream. It was set up 2 hours after dinner which was perfect.
The ceremony was supposed to be outside but minutes before it started we switched to indoors. The staff made the switch without missing a beat!!!!
DJ...Elysium Experience...WOW...Nicholas Hardy....Amazing!!!!
Photographer....Jacquelyn Genevieve Photography....The pictures we have seen so far could be in a magazine!!!!
Videographer...JD Entertainment...Brandon...I can not wait to see the video!
Florist....Vivianos...Beautiful
VRBO...We rented the house on the property. OMG!!!! It was right out of a Hallmark Movie!!!! Honestly it couldn't have been more perfect for the Bridal Party!!! The boys were downstairs getting ready and the girls were upstairs. Dakota from Solitude Links picked the Bridal Party up with the shuttle bus and took them to and from the venue!!!!
The "adults" stayed at the Double Tree Hilton in Port Huron. The hotel was great in every way!!!! The staff, the room, the view, the gift shop, the restaurant, and of course the warm chocolate chip cookies!!! They gave us a discounted rate plus included breakfast for our group!!!
Transportation for our guest was provided by....Preferred Charters.
Brad was our driver of a 56 passenger charter bus! He took us to and from the hotel to the venue. He made multiple trips!!!
Calming Effect Salon and Spa...Gabrielle did an awesome job providing hair and makeup for our wedding guest.
Writing this review is making me cry happy tears all over again!

Our wedding at Solitude Links was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff was so friendly and made planning a breeze. Venue was beautiful both inside and out, and the food was delicious. AND, we were able to rent out the house right next door on the grounds for our bridal party, which was so convenient. I would love to be able to relive our beautiful day at Solitude Links!
Park home to rare oak savannahs provides a viewing spot for river freighters & all-year camping.
Beautiful views of the water. Watching ships go by so relaxing.
jp hemphill — Google review
The park is okay, there's not a lot for kids if you're in the back sites. Very breezy and inconvenient times for the bathrooms to be closed and cleaned. And they were not well stocked on toilet paper.
Jessica C. — Google review
We had a descent spot for our 44ft 5th wheel. Little gravel & grassy, pretty level. Only 30amp h/u, no water or sewer. Has dump & water fill station. When it rains the sites get pretty flooded & muddy. The mosquitoes are brutal. Dog walking & poop stations are good. Great biking trail. Views of river are great. There’s a shooting range there so you hear gunfire a lot. Very close to town for essentials. Had to pay $40 each for vehicle AND motorcycle for park passport, ridiculous! Oh and the roads & potholes are horrible! We would probably stay here again.

Park was clean and views were beautiful. I hate when campgrounds go on and on about the wood issue in Michigan and then don't sell wood. Other than that everything was nice. We will definitely be back
Amber Oliveri — Google review
Their drone signage is illegal and violates PA 436 of 2016. The parks have absolutely no jurisdiction of drone usage and they’ve been sued numerous times and lost every suit.
Perfect state park campground other than the crumbling roads, which I assume will be repaired within a couple of years 🤷♂️
Surrounded by quiet, quaint little towns with a boardwalk in Algonac, a beautiful beach in Marine city and ma&pa restaurants along the entire river.
Aaron Hrynyk — Google review
This really is a great camp ground... but for the most part it's one of those quick weekend type places. I will also say this... We go here about 5 times a summer lol it's a great place

FYI.. I GUESS.. NOW YOU NEED A PASS TO PARK ACROSS THE STREET FROM ALGONAC STATE PARK. THIS NEVER USE TO BE THE CASE. TRAGIC. WITH THAT SAID.. STILL a great place to fish, camp, throw an outdoor get-together, BBQ. Amatuer/Pro photographers paradise. Or just come to just take in the majesty of the St Clair River and her well traveled great lakes shipping freighters. GET YOUR BOAT THERAPY HERE.
Jason Ramoska — Google review
Nice park and friendly staff! This is a nice quiet campground and if you’re able to get a site on the river, you’re going to get a great view. If you are a boat nerd, this is definitely the place to be. Right now sites are just electricity, but I hear water and sewer are coming soon. The mosquitoes get bad at night, but that’s no fault of the park. My only complaint would be that the sewer area could be cleaned up and repaired a bit.
Michael G — Google review
Great site and view. Only hiccup was someone came into our site and stole our picnic table while we were sleeping. We found it.
Adam Hammontree — Google review
It's good park but not for swimming .I don't recommend the family that has kids to go there. No activities for kids, only a nice view. It's not bad to relax or camp. Also, people can fish
Abdullah Saleem — Google review
Great views of river and boat traffic.
Goes without saying but best views are sites closest to river. Even on hot days breeze from river keeps you comfortable. In June, pesky winged bugs but their tolerable and don't bite.

We Love Algonac State Park. We love freighter watching. Really hoping that the roads will be paved with the upcoming planned construction.
We use the archery range. My husband uses the pistol range. We take the path into town. Love having things to do while we camp.

Wow beautiful trees and the team that drove the tractors were awesome and very detailed to the location of each tree family and funny as well. We hand a great time and you have a lot to do and see! The cider was out of this world!

The BEST experience for a GREAT value! We went during the week so for $14.95 per adult and less per child the price is outstanding! There is SO much to do!! There is a petting zoo, two huge jumping pillows, haunted house for all ages, John Deere tractor races, tricycle races, duck races, story book house, corn maze, hay pyramids, ax throwing, oh and apple and pumpkin picking too! So much more! It was the best day we've spent since COVID hit and I can't think of one negative thing! The Cafe has the BEST Street Corn Nachos! And lots of other treats at great prices! Blake's has the not let commercialism ruin the feel of a true family farm! 100% love it!!!!

I’ve been to this place several times as a kid, but I definitely appreciate it more as an adult. I came back in the fall and did the corn maze and all the other fall activities. I happened to be in the area in the spring, and decided to swing by to see if they had any donuts and to my surprise, they had donuts, caramel apples, popcorn and tons more goodies. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that we came in time to watch them make the cider. I think they may have the best cider in the area, so it was cool to watch them make it and see how many apples it takes. The gentleman was kind enough to offer us a sample and of course we bought a gallon for the road. Nothing like freshly made cider and donuts!
When I visited in the fall, there were things for all ages to participate in. Tractor rides, petting zoo, food, haunted areas, corn maze and even an area for alcoholic beverages.
Not much to do outside of the fall months, but definitely come with your sweet tooth. Aside from the cider, the cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar donuts are amazing. The store on site also has lots of different items from local vendors such as apparel, different sauces, cookies even dog treats.
If you’re in the area in the off-season, go get some cider and donuts and for sure check them out in the fall for all the fall activities!

Had a great night out for my birthday. Dined in an igloo. The staff was friendly and attentive. The drinks were yummy. Flights offered at very reasonable prices. Burger was average, but spinach dip and warm donut dessert were awesome!

Great place for kids to learn to skate as the rink is not real ice. It's not nearly as slippery. That being said, it's not as fun for more advanced skaters but the price is right and the staff was very friendly.

Blake’s orchard have cherry picking ( sweet and tart) very fresh , we had a great time.
Strawberries were smaller in size but way sweeter than usual ones you get in Kroger or any other grocery stores.
Raspberries were little too but sweet fruit.
Overall great experience. They have a good tap house too.
Tried their ciders
Phenomenal.
Consider a one full day if you like to experience the farm ( fruit picking )
They do not charge you if you pick fruits usually range is $3 per lb and it’s way to cheaper and good deal I’d say. If not, they charge $20 per vehicle.
10/10 stars.

I believe they are Italian owned? They have a grandma making the pizzas and the land had lots of animals, including an adorable cat. Overall, we loved the vineyard. Great experience. Oh and don’t forget the gelato inside!

Had an absolute BLAST at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill! Came here prior to the fall/pumpkin season and it was still packed, but there happened to be an event going on that weekend for beer so that was mainly why. My family was only interested in experiencing the farm and getting their famous apple cider donuts so thank God we didn’t have to deal with the long line of people waiting to get into the event!
We ended up eating at Blake’s Tasting Room and enjoyed our experience there. My husband and I shared the nachos and my husband got a flight of their different flavored ciders. I think he tried four different ciders and really only liked one or two of them. The Apple Pie and I think Caramel apple were his faves. The nachos were a great choice to keep us satisfied until later.
The farm was such a fun time for us all. We got to feed the pets they had in the barn. A mix of horses, llamas, rabbits, pigs etc. just be careful when feeding them, they will try to steal your entire cup of food! We also got to race around little tractors and my sister, her husband and his cousin ended up getting lost in the corn maze for an hour. Beware if you go into there that it may take a while to find your way out and you will get mud all over your shoes and clothing!
My husband and I decided not to go into the corn maze (thank god!) and explored around the farm for a bit. It’s quite large so there’s a lot of walking involved. We also took the tractor ride that goes around the entire property and talks about Blake’s history. They offer u-pick for a bunch of different fruits, vegetables and even plants! It was very interesting the vast majority of what they have to offer.
We ended the day in their general store. Of course we had to get their famous apple cider donuts and fresh apple cider! Very delicious and the donuts were warm and soft. They have a bunch of other items for purchase like bakery items, jams, apparel, and even their cider!
Highly recommend visiting Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill! It’s a fun experience for everyone!

I was a bit hesitant about the funland thing. It looks geared towards younger kids but it was so much fun for my 14yo, 11yo, and my wife and I. Petting zoo, fun games, trampoline, tractor (bicycle) races, tricycle races, and even a haunted house. Restaurant was yummy too, though a bit high on prices. Kids menu options are huge portions for cheap though and staff are all super nice. Tasting room attached to restaurant and a separate bar outside too. Great place to spend a nice weather day. We will definitely be back!!
Arlo Clark-Foos — Google review
It was a beautiful day at Blake's. This place is huge and offers a lot of fun for all ages. They have a large selection of ciders at the outside bar and in the tasting room. The outdoor beer garden area is really nice. This place is great for a Michigan fall day. The only reason I wouldn't give it five stars is because the outside bathrooms are disgusting.

I had a great time with the family. A lot of kids activities and for the adults why not have a hard cider! The prices are decent not over the top. We went on a train ride to see the apple trees blossomed.. the are getting there… it was more like a sneak peak but still gorgeous! Everybody is super friendly and of course we need to have some donuts and cider. I preferred my donuts plain but that’s up to you!

Super fun and popular event center! We visited during the lavender festival! It was busy but really fun! All of the booths were great. Blake's was super fun as well. They have so many options for food and cider! Highly recommend!

I’ve never been to Blake’s cider mill before, but I was invited by friends and I had an amazing time! I love the smell of fresh apple’s when you first walk in, and you can watch them make apple cider from scratch. They sell all sorts of homemade food like butter, jam, honey, pickles, salsa, muffins, fudge, apple cider, and seasonings. I’m pretty sure I sampled all of their juice and I decided to get the apple cherry juice, and salted caramel apple cider. There was also a festival going on and they had two tents filled with local vendors, I bought a lot of cute little knickknacks. I’m surprised there’s so many options for food, we weren’t able to dine in at the tasting room because it was so packed but there’s different areas where you can get food too. The staff were also really nice, they made sure everything was going smoothly.

Whether you’re headed out for a Christmas Tree, locally grown produce, a hay ride, cider and donuts, or fantastic dining experience, these guys have it with excellence on top. Staff is super friendly, the products are all great, and you should see it at CHRISTMAS TIME! Their lights get better every year.
Josh Isenhardt — Google review
Coming here for the past few years was always a nice time. However, this place has now fallen into the greed of business. There is little to do other than picking apples, walking around in the so-called activities area, paying for extremely overpriced carnival food in their restaurants and paying over inflated prices for produce and baked items. The entrance fee to the activities area (mainly for little kids) is $16 for weekdays and $20 for weekends. The farm animal petting/feeding area is ridiculous. The few animals they have are either biting or laying in areas that can't be reached or sleeping.
Arriving at 3:30 pm, we unknowingly headed into the mass exodus of vehicles and were almost hit by 3 cars just trying to park. After paying $32 for entrance fees to the activities area, we walked into a ghost town swarming with bees and hornets. Less than 10 people through the entire area. There was no excitement anywhere and it was a boring 30-minute walk through this area. Only fun thing here was the tractor/train ride through the apple orchard and fields.
As for the restaurants and cafes, only 2 were open and they are so overpriced for carnival food. $13 for nacho chips, $16 for chicken bites and the list goes on. The markets for produce and baked goods was just as bad. Not only did they cut the portions down, they raised the prices by $2-3, easily, since last year. $9.50 for the smallest bag of apples and it got worse from there. Apple cider $8 for half gallon, $14 for gallon. 5-inch pies for $10. $7.50 for a caramel apple with sprinkles and the apples are the smallest ones they grow. Jar pickles for $10. Jams are only $7.50 however the jars are now only 16 ounces.
Never again will we come back to Blakes. It's only a major tourist trap and not worth the money paid for entrance fees, restaurants, markets.

The recent renovations and updates have been impressive. Despite a light drizzle, there was a line extending out the door when we arrived. Their cinnamon sugar donuts are the epitome of cider mill perfection, and the cider itself was absolutely delicious. Additionally, the caramel apples were remarkably fresh and tasty. We will post more photos on our next visit!

Autumn isn’t complete without a trip to one of your favorite apple orchards. If your looking for a detailed list of things to do here you’ll have to read another review, lol. I am just here to vouch for Blake’s as great spot to experience your fall apple actives. The Dutch apple pie was delicious and was definitely worth the ten dollars.
Cinnamon Sugar Donuts were dancing on my tastebuds delicious & what was left over tasted equally as good the next morning. This was our first time here as a couple and we really enjoyed our date.
Small multiscreen theater for new releases features roomy, reserved seats & alcoholic drinks.
I'm a life long movie buff and this theater is by far the nicest most luxurious one I've ever been to. Piano bar in the lobby, well furnished and decorated throughout, spacious well stocked refreshment stations and the theater itself has reclining heated seats. The seats are so large and comfortable that even at 6'1" I was able to curl right up in one and enjoy the film. Top notch audio and visual as well.
Great job Emagine! I'll be back...

Great movie theater with the Dolby Atmos audio set up. I saw seats that were greasy looking, real nasty had to check ours. I thought it was gross. Doors were dirty to go in and out of the theater, shiny metal shows it all fortunately. Trash was kept right at the doorway also in the way. Idk why when the movie is over just leave the doors open till the next movie starts. Just a constant touching of doors and traffic trying to go both ways damn... Bring hand sanitizer and wipes definitely, the buttons on the recliners needed major cleaning as they were covered in popcorn butter or nacho sauce idk it was not cleaned in this place at all after the movie ended, none whatsoever! And I guess you can have food delivered to your seat now..? That needs to stop, after 5 times of having people walk in front of us while watching the movie I was not happy at all. And why do they have to deliver in pairs, always two people to bring anything even a nacho c'mon! Was going to go 4 stars but after reliving that I remembered how bad it was and had to go 3, this was a few days ago. A rum and coke was $17 pricey but mixed well at least.

My kids and I love to spend our Friday nights here!! The staff is wonderful, the food is great, and it adds and extra "umph" to the whole experience with how uniquely you get to eat it! Don't know what I mean? You'll have to go find out for yourself ;)
Highly recommend!! Of course. Family favorite.

April 2022 - went here with the wife after dinner. Its been awhile since we had a chance to watch an adult movie. Theater was clean, popcorn and slushy were good. Since my last post, we are at the point you can wear them or not, your choice.
September 2021 - went here with 4 girls under 10 and the wife. We had a good time. Popcorn is really good. They do sell pizza and some other food. We only got popcorn, candy and drinks. They do have a rewards program. Nice clean place. I would recommend this place. They do have a bar. My knock on this place is 2 things. 1. Is location, no restraunts within the complex. 2. I found it strange that many of the employees did not wear a mask. Most businesses that I have been in, the employees are wearing them.

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious theatre with all the modern amenities such as reclining, heated and cooled leather seats with big armrests and cupholders. Great concessions, and good deals with the membership club. Best movie theatre around, hands down, and my one and only place to go and see movies! Truly an enjoyable experience each and every time!

You have to love the heated recliners! Great theater. Ladies room was clean.
I gave it four stars because they charged me $1.50 a piece to order tickets online. Why? No person is actually handling that purchase. There's no reason to charge a fee.

Great place to catch a movie. Service is also fast and friendly. They have a nice bar, offer food options that they will bring to your seat, and good popcorn! They seats are comfy and well kept. It's my favorite theater to go to lately.

Very large and luxurious theatre. Staff does a real nice job and works quickly. Food is great and served to you in a tray while you sit. Nice place to visit if you haven’t been for the best experience at the movies.

Fantastic venue with large, comfortable heated/cooled leather recliners. The food and drink prices are typical with most theatres but there is a wide variety of both. The bar had at least 8 beers on tap and a full liquor bar. They also will bring your food to you at your seat which is pretty sweet. Got to see Galaxy Quest on the Wednesday Flashback Cinema.

We have been going here since they opened years ago. Just keeps getting better. Nice variety of food. Love the trays that fit in the cup holders. Love the fancy popcorn. Seats are so comfy. Service can be a tad slow when busy. Rewards program is nice. Free concessions items and tickets wrack up quickly!
Met the CEO a couple years ago when they were at Macomb filming a promo. Nice, approachable, real. Always a great family experience.

Simply the best theater around. Staff is always friendly and the seats recline and have heat! We just had a fantastic time there for a New Years Eve Movie! Get the loyalty membership too. It's worth it.

When it comes to exceptional cinema experiences, Emagine truly stands out, especially when you encounter an employee as remarkable as Logan M. From the moment I walked into the theater, Logan greeted me with a smile that was both welcoming and genuine, setting a positive tone for the evening.
Logan's understanding of the theater's layout and screening options was comprehensive. He expertly guided me through the current showings and helped me pick a movie that suited my taste perfectly. His knowledge of the theater's amenities, like premium seating and snack options, enhanced my visit, making it easy for me to make the most of my movie night.
What impressed me most was Logan’s ability to engage with patrons. He didn't just sell me a ticket; he ensured that my entire experience was tailored to my expectations. Whether it was recommending the best seats for sound and view or suggesting the perfect snack combo, Logan's advice was invaluable.
Despite the bustling environment, Logan managed his duties flawlessly. He attended to each customer with the same level of enthusiasm and efficiency, ensuring that everyone’s needs were met quickly and courteously. His multitasking skills were particularly impressive, as he balanced ticket sales, customer queries, and theater upkeep without ever losing his cheerful demeanor. Logan's follow-up after the movie was also noteworthy. He asked for feedback on the experience and seemed genuinely interested in my thoughts, showing his commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. This level of personalized care is rare and speaks volumes about his dedication. Moreover, Logan’s positive attitude significantly contributes to the overall atmosphere of Emagine. His energy and passion for his job make the theater not just a place to watch movies, but a community space that feels welcoming to all who visit. Logan M is an invaluable asset to Emagine. His professionalism, deep knowledge, and unwavering commitment to service excellence greatly enriched my visit. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a top-tier movie-going experience visit Emagine and seek out Logan; he will undoubtedly make your visit memorable. I am already looking forward to my next visit, confident that Logan will provide nothing less than the best service.

We had a great time enjoying Casablanca. The seats are comfortable, ticket prices are good and the screens are large. Two stars because of the concessions. We had 4 large fountain drinks and a large cheddar popcorn that was bordering on stale for $38.67. I could've gone to Applebee's after the movie instead for less money. They offer 2 steak dinners with sides and appetizers for $25.00! What a rip-off.

We have been coming since it first opened, we visited today and noticed it is already in need of improvements. The carpets smell in hallways and the headrests and worn off. Perhaps a deep clean would be a great start. We love the location and would love for it to stay up to date and clean.

Really enjoyed this theater! They play classics and although movies aren't cheap anymore, it was fun! I was also able to bring in my own tumbler for pop and it was good to refill! The caramel popcorn is awesome!

I'm so glad I purchased a pass to enjoy the Metro Parks! This is one of my favorites. I tend to park near the spot where you can enjoy the Wind Surfers and walk over to the wetlands park - beautifully preserved and cared for. I saw a Gopher and a Crane enjoying the beautiful day along with me. Perfect natural reset... 😍

What can I say. I absolutely love this park. Everything about it from the nature trail to the walking trail. I love the amount of nature that there is. The fall colors. Even in the winter which I do not like winter. This park is very pretty. The bathrooms are always clean. The park is open in 365 days a year. Every time I’m here I always try to snap a pic of some thing. If it’s a turtle or a bird or the water or the sunset or the sunrise or the deer or a groundhog, there’s many things. I’ve grown up coming to this park. Over the last couple years I went to all 13 metro parks in Michigan. I do prefer this one the most. These are some of my photos

The pool was clean, a little cold, but clean. Not to busy for a Friday. Arrived@ 1pm stayed until 5-530 pm. Lifeguards were on duty. Waterslide was fun! There's also rock climbing in the pool. It's $5 per person to enter into the pool area. Bathrooms were decent. Cafe has good food. Definitely would come back.

This is by far one of the best metro parks available in Michigan. I found it by accident- a pool near me charged 36 dollars for my toddler son and I, so we went looking elsewhere. $10 to enter the park on a daily pass- $40 for an annual pass. We have gone so often that the employee in the ticket booth noticed I had a ton of daily passes on my windshield- which equaled $40 so they said I can now get the annual pass when I turn in all of my daily passes, without having to pay another fee. Pool is $5 to get in and free for kids under 30 inches of height. The beach is no extra cost after you pay a daily or annual fee. The beach is beautiful, the water has been warm too. There are concessions available as well. We go at least twice a week now. The splash pad is no extra cost either.

Had my son's 2nd birthday at shelter J. I visited in June and worried about the taller grass around which had not been pictured when I booked the sheltered. There were bugs everywhere, because, you know, June. We had the party at the end of July. It was perfect. There were still bugs but not nearly as many, we didn't have a problem with gnats. The shelter was easily accessible via shuttle and was removed from all the beach activity which could still be enjoyed if you simply took a shuttle back. Our guests loved it too. There was a clean restroom nearby, a slide with a couple of swings, plenty of space to run around for all the kids. I'm thankful we hosted his birthday there.

A sunlit haven for photographers and families alike!
I recently had the chance to visit Lake St. Clair Metro Park at sunrise, and the experience was nothing short of magical. The way the early morning light touches the serene waters, creating an ever-changing canvas of hues, made for some truly breathtaking photographs. If you're an enthusiast of capturing nature's beauty, especially the calm elegance of dawn, this park is a must-visit.
But Lake St. Clair Metro Park isn't just for those with a camera in hand. It's evident that the park has been designed with everyone in mind. Families will find it particularly appealing. The waterpark, which caught my eye, seems like the perfect escape for the young ones to cool down and have a blast on a hot summer day. It's spacious, well-maintained, and filled with features sure to elicit joyful shrieks and laughter.
And then there's the expansive beach! Stretching out invitingly, the sandy shores offer ample space for picnics, sandcastle building, or simply lounging and taking in the tranquil surroundings.
All in all, Lake St. Clair Metro Park serves as a delightful blend of recreational activities and natural splendor. Whether you're an early bird photographer or a family in search of a wholesome outing, this park will exceed your expectations. Highly recommended!

A wonderfully paved 1 mile cement circle will take you on a tour of the park and the view onto lake st Clair is obviously outstanding. Always clean. Basketball courts, kids area, water slide into a pool, picnic tables and grills can all be found here too.

Beautiful area with lots of walking paths and nature. Trails for great outdoors exploring, beaches and lakes for swimming or water sports. There's a nature center that has fish, turtles, and a snake and great information in animals around the area. They also have stuffed birds, owls, and animals from the area. Side note they have nice bathrooms too.
Just know that if you don't have a Metropark pass, it's $10/ day. Pack some lunch and snacks there's plenty to explore. Enjoy!

This is my favorite park in the metro Detroit area. The playgrounds are newer equipment that is well maintained, and clean. The bathrooms are the same. The exercise equipment is great quality and all of the children’s play area is done with recycled tires! So they won’t get hurt whenever they fall!!

They made the beach area much smaller and put in some wildlife areas! A great place to visit if you’re looking for safety and fun

The nature area though a little small is still a nice place for a walk and allows the opportunity to see deer, owls, nesting water birds, and the usual assortment of small woodland friends! The wetland boardwalk can at times be flooded after heavy rains so plan accordingly should you adventure with rain in the forcast.

I decided to take my baby to the beach. He absolutely enjoyed it. As you can see he jumped in the water for a quick swim. The water was too cold for him..LOL The park is beautiful, we walked along the boardwalk. We stopped at the playground where the kids were playing. In the playground they had a house with free books for the kids. I thought that was really nice, "take a book, give a book''. We walked around a bit people watching. Families riding bikes just enjoying themselves young and old.

Nice park with walking trails, beach views, and many activities for every season.
Par 3 golf, mini golf, pool, splash park, beach, picnic areas, sledding hill, cross country ski route in the winter, natural ponds for ice skating, lots of good spots for fishing.
There is a nice playground, with sections for children of all ages and an exercise center just outside the fence.
Lots of space taken up with parking lots however, and it can get busy on the weekend - especially during summer.
On a weekday or during other seasons it can be quite empty, and It’s almost like having the park to yourself

It's always a great 👍 experience coming to this mall with my wife and kids. Quite some stores had closed 😕 and moved out of this mall. The atmosphere 👌 is great 👍 along with the radio 📻 😀 playing ▶️ in the background throughout the whole mall. The fire 🔥 place in the center of the mall is awesome 👌 and a good 👍 spot to stop ✋️ by and get warm during mild and cold 🥶 temperatures 🌡. Also, they used to have plenty of food spots to stop ✋️ by to have a quick bite to eat while you're shopping 🛍. During the holiday season, this mall is decorated throughout. It's nice 😌 to be able to bring dogs 🐕 here and come across other dogs 🐕 pet owners. They have a cool 😎 play-place area for young kids and a little splash pad area that runs during the hot seasons. Other than that, they have quite some good 👍 stores to shop in, plus a Starbucks coffee ☕️ shop, bubble tea place, ice cream place, and an MJR movie 🎬 theater 🎥. Nonetheless, it's an awesome 👌 mall to visit 😊 and hang out 😊.

Other good stores and restaurants as well. Been to Brio and PF Chang's and both are great. Having an Apple store in the mall is also convenient.

It is nice having a place that you can bring dogs to walk while also shopping. The place is really nice during the lights for the holidays; in the summer it is a great mall to go and walk around some. The stores are okay, I just wish there were more. The two big vacant stores could easily be turned into an area for other smaller stores; it feels like I do not have many places to shop for what I normally look for. Men's clothing stores are extremely scarce and there is only one traditional sneaker store (Champs). I think it would be great for them to find a sneaker and streetwear resell shop to put in here. There are very few in the area.

Kind of disappointed that it's summer time in the whole mall closes at 8:00. We went to walk around after our dinner to try to catch a snack or a sweet item and everything was closed. They do have a box lunch out here now so that's pretty cool but I couldn't even go inside. Even the live music that they had sounded like it was pretty good but we didn't make it to check it out because it was over so quickly
Edit: they still close pretty early. But there is a new little shop that I enjoy looking around in. Overrated I think it was called. Also the artisan items at Inspire marketplace are a wonderful find. Just get out there early as the mall closes at 7.

The Detroit Zoo is an animal sanctuary that features a miniature railroad and exhibits a variety of global wildlife, including a polar bear exhibit. Visitors can take a full perimeter loop to see the various attractions, such as the ruined Detroit Children's Zoo and the restored aquarium with its paddle-nosed gar collection. The Dossin Great Lakes Museum offers insight into the region's maritime history with exhibits featuring artifacts like hydroplanes and anchors from sunken ships.
My family and I love coming to the Detroit Zoo. The yearly pass is a great value! It's a great way to get the kids outdoors, walking around and learning about the wildlife out there in the world. Many great food options are available here form snacks, to burgers, to Buddy's pizza. If you have a free day and are wondering what to do with it in the metro Detroit area, I highly suggest a zoo visit!

Was a really good experience. The lights were great had a good variety. The only complaint I would have would be they had VIP areas I guess they were called, with heaters and drinking areas, that had nobody in them. But we could not use them not even to go walk underneath a patio heater to warm up for a few minutes was kind of ignorant being that it was like 20° outside and there was nobody in these spaces except for the people GUARDING them. I HOPE IT PAID OFF FOR THEM BEING AS IT LOOKED LIKE NOBODY HAD PURCHASED VIP TICKETS. There was other people mumbling about it but all in all it was a good trip to see the lights.

Wow, I have been to a few zoos in my lifetime but this place tops my list.
Very walkable routes, easily accessible for all. Train ride helped with tired feet. Animal living quarters were phenomenally maintained and had beautiful scenery to look at, which the design allows patrons to get really up close to these majestic animals. We went on a very nice Spring day. What a nice place to walk around. There are lots of animals to see, some indoors due to the cooler weather. The free-range peacocks were a hit with our family. Staff were so nice and able to answer questions. A great experience!

We enjoyed getting popcorn to takes home but due to the weather we did eat or drink there but were excited to see hot chocolate stands and other warm foods.

What a great experience! Plenty of places to sit and rest with lots of shade to cool off, misters and water refill stations located throughout the zoo. Lots to see and most of the animals were pretty active. The food was all delicious and reasonably priced. The bathrooms were pretty well kept. We bought the daytime zoo visit and night light bundle, which was well worth the price. We entered the zoo around 3 pm and saw many animals including penguins, camels, otters, tigers, chimpanzees/gorillas. We didn’t finish visiting all of the animals because of time limit. We should have been there at 2 pm, which would allow us to visit the whole zoo before closure. So please plan well and have at least 2 hours for a full zoo tour. The night lights show was also amazing and interactive. We made wishes at the giant wish tree, which was a great memory.

Reasonably priced zoo with lots to see and do in a generally busy area. We went there recently for my birthday and we had a pretty good time! Haven't been there since I was a kid, so it was nice seeing the new penguin exhibit.
The enclosures here are spaced out and quite beautifully done. All the animals look happy and healthy. My favorite enclosure was the kangaroo one— it was super cool being able to go inside their habitat and walk alongside them.
Despite being the off season, almost all the exhibits were open, including a few restaurants. We spent a good three and a half hours there, taking our time to walk around. There's a lot of scenic walking trails, too.
Overall, definitely the nicest zoo here in Michigan! It's really well managed, and everyone that works here is very friendly.

Okay, so if you read negative reviews about this zoo, they were wrong. This park is nicely spaced out and features an open-air viewing of most exhibits. The food is on par with what you'd expect from a popular attraction. It is not the best burger you'll ever eat. It's not the worst either. The price is comparable to other parks. I have been too and cheaper, in my opinion. We spent the entire day at the zoo enjoying the various exhibits and attractions.

Go into the buildings! Look around! There's a lot of hideaways and interiors that people just kept walking by. The backside of the rhino exhibit was entirely empty and it was right beside them! Look at my pic! Zoo is very well built up and they take great care of the paths. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, willing to share without hesitation. Food staffing were great too! I'm very impressed.

Kids have fun, but the zoo seemed like it had a lot of exhibits that were closed or under construction, and there was a lack of open vendors when the zoo was aware that the large groups of schools coming that day, it was a warm day when it got xloser to noon & so the kids wanted frozen drinks but they ran out of $10 cups so they could sell them in regular cups for the same price. All in all I prepaid the ticket & parking but there are no signs to tell you where you park but the attendant asks if you bought parking. You really need 3 hours to visit the zoo nicely. Hopefully, they have all the exhibits open when & if we return again.

What an absolutely amazing place for long walks and sightseeing. All the variety and nature wonders and exotic animals to see. Except for the beaver 🦫. I have never seen the beaver. It’s supposed to be there, but never been seen. One time i saw a couple of visitors passing by and one way saying to another: “I don’t think there is a beaver in there. They just have a sign 🪧 but no beaver in there” 😂 Hopefully one day I’ll get to see that shy one in there. Zoo is well taken care of , very clean , spacious, animals are well treated and look healthy and nicely taken care of. It’s not an easy work. But staff is doing a really great job. This is a historic place and I’m happy to be a member and enjoy it as often as possible. Highly recommend to get a membership as it’s totally worth it! And hopefully I’ll get to see that beaver one day 😊

Detroit Zoo is a world class zoo with conservation at its core. It’s open all year round, though in certain weather, some exhibits will be closed with animals viewable from indoor enclosures. Additionally, warm weather activities like the carousel, face painting, etc., as well as some of the eateries close during the winter.
Table28, the zoo’s main restaurant is open year round and the prices compare to an average diner. There’s also a cafe to get coffee, espresso and tea drinks. Fun fact: Table28 was named for the opening year, 1928.
There are tons of picnic areas and places to rest. You will likely see at least one of the many peacocks roaming free around zoo grounds. There is also a playground for younger kids.
Will plan add more photos after our next visit. Don’t be like me and make sure your phone is sufficiently charged before you go. ☺️

Christmas wild lights was spectacular! Was here 5 years ago, so glad we came back, there is now a theme to the lights and I really enjoyed the ocean/sea creatures theme! Was so much fun to visit with family over the Christmas holidays. Parking was easy ($8), staff were present to guide you to a spot. It was very festive, the kids loved all the lights. There was a small interactive corner with the wishing tree, see saw, lit up train and bear for the children to hang out. Lots of little rest stops selling hot drinks and snacks to warm up in if you got too cold. There was a nice carousel in the middle so the children loved that! Overall we had a lot of fun and spent about 1.5-2hrs here!

It was only a 35 min drive from my place in Canada, so there was convenience. Parking was great and organized. Pay when you get tickets. I don’t know if we missed some, but it only took about an hour to walk through and we stopped and Waited for hot chocolate at one of the stores. The areas were clean and the ground was even and easy to walk through. The difference between our local lights and this, their displays were huge and had so many fun animals. So many children were there just loving the atmosphere.
It’s rather expensive in my opinion. Parking and 2 tickets cost $81 Canadian, our local lights are free, and has local vendors selling their products and food trucks and it seems to cover a similar amount of ground, the displays are just a bit smaller at home

Cool Zoo, just make sure you go in season. Early spring, many renovations are going on and animals don’t seem to be as active. Make sure you eat first, because as expected, food is $$$$. If you get a chance to go for the Christmas lights, those are amazing.

I have visited a lot of zoos, I was so impressed. Detroit Zoo is definitely a must see! Look for the kangaroos, red pandas, or the reptile exhibit. All will wow you! We walked 4 miles, so wear your good walking shoes and bring a lunch!
Belle Isle is an island in the Detroit River and home to attractions such as the Belle Isle Aquarium, Conservatory, Nature Center, and Beach. In addition to its recreational areas, it's also a place where maritime history is remembered with exhibits at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum. Named for Revolutionary War general James Belle, it was opened to the public in 1882.
This is the most amazing park. It's pretty large and I suspect that it is busy in the warmer months. We had gone in March. We had a wonderful time at the museums. There is a lot of room to find a good spot to hang out for the day. There are plenty of grills, picnic tables, and places to sit. The views of Detroit and Canada are very good. It's pretty easy navigating around the park. You'll figure it out after driving around for a bit.

I love Belle Isle. Some times I would just chill inside my car and listen to music and vibe. Other times we would park and walk around and explore. There are some amazing views. Amazing trails with hidden chill spots in them. Overall one of my favorite places to go.

For an $11 day pass, how can you go wrong? Nice views, relaxing atmosphere and a cool fountain with a couple of good food trucks lurking. Its a shame I didnt have time to see the Nature Centre but at Sunset Point is the perfect view between Windsor and Detroit. Plenty of parking and very safe with lots of patrols.

Did a cruise around the whole island. Such beautiful views and cool history. I can’t image how much more stubby it will be during the peak of summer. Amazing view of Downtown Detroit.

So beautiful on so many levels. It was a bit breezy when we went but still a wonderful day. Got to walk by the water and see the conservatory, the abandoned casino and so much more. We will be taking many trips here to spend the day with how beautiful it is

One of my favorite places to visit. The aquarium is open on weekends only so it's a fun activity with the kids. Great views.

I love Belle Isle. Just to go take photos of the city skyline or the fountain, to go to the conservatory, the aquarium, and the museum. To just walk along the water. If you haven't been, go.

Great park with lots of trails. Run down since when it opened but improvements are being made. Recommend 💚💯💯

A very pretty park, although the aquarium is EXTREMELY SMALL, so if you go thinking it's an actual aquarium, you will be disappointed. The conservancy is very nice and everything is free. What a great community asset

Belle Isle has been a go to place for me and my family since childhood. Events there are spectacular, especially enjoy the kite festival, the beach, the driving range, fishing, photography, athletic fields, and so much more. If you’re ever looking for something to do, you can’t go wrong taking a couple laps around the island. Enjoy scenic views, soak in the nature. Experience a little bit of Up North right in our urban city. Since the state of Michigan took it over from the City of Detroit that has progressed by leaps and bounds.

Beautiful park and clean. I took a Uber to reach the entrance but you can also walk and crossed the bridge. It's 1h+ walking from downtown (let's say starting at Monument "The fist') You can rent a bike $18 for 2h (be careful of the sense of circulation) there is a beach where you can swim. I couldn't visit an aquarium and the garden.

Gorgeous natural space so close to the city. Will have to come back another time when the aquarium is open. Cruising around the isle even empty was really fun.

Belle Isle is one of the most Beautiful parks in Detroit!! I've been going to this park since I was a little girl and always loved it! It is well kept always clean and the safe place to go and just have fun barbecue lay out in the sun or just stand on the riverfront or go fishin. Belle Isle is open from 5:am until 10: pm.....

The state has been working really hard to spruce this park up and it shows. They are adding more and more to the gardens each year, renovating the flower house, and other projects. It’s a fun place to picnic, watch freighters go by, or take a hike. There’s also an aquarium, a nature center, and a museum.

Good spot for family trips on nice days. Knocked off one star b/c often I smell weed in the parking lot near the playgrounds. It's not teenagers smoking, usually the parents. I don't know if the park can do anything about it (doubt it), aside from that it's a great place.

I honestly can't believe I've lived 30 minutes from here most of my life. I now live in Indiana and I was visiting family and decided to check it out. It was beautiful. Went during the week it wasn't crowded but everything was closed which kinda sucked but the beach was nice and we went for a nice walk. Bathrooms kinda gross though. Atleast at the beach.

Show, sale & auction art gallery in a Greco-Roman space displays contemporary & established works.
I visited Park West Gallery last month and I was very impressed by the museum and art for sale. I had not been to the Park West Gallery in Southfield is many years. I recently visited the DIA and was looking to view contemporary art and I was disappointed, In contrast, Park West Gallery was outstanding. I highly recommend that you visit.

Purchased my artwork at a cruise auction, was told may be up to 6 weeks to Australia. But to my surprise a delivery truck pulls up 2 weeks after we arrived back home. It took about a week after the cruise till we received the first e-mail from Park West and after that there was good communication with updates and shipping info. Also twice I contacted PW and there response in reply was over night. Packing was excellent and my goods arrived in top condition. Again well done to all concerned throughout this process.
Thankyou All '🖼🚚

I HAD to come back and modify this review! After reading so many negative comments as we anticipated our Marcus Glenn work, I became nervous about the purchase and immediately wanted a refund.
TODAY. The artwork came and the frame isn't expensive but it is beautiful and we STILL love the art! It was not damaged by Fedex even though Fedex did not ask me to sign for the delivery [they were supposed to ask me to sign as signature was REQUIRED]. ( I recorded the unboxing in case of damage )
We were already in the process of preparing for the work by purchasing some decor items that would compliment it since we were replacing an older piece that was less colorful.
PARK WEST. Thank you for introducing us to this artist! We are thankful and I apologize for the original bad review based off of a nervous response to other people's reviews.
This is my honest review and we are completely happy. We will be collecting more Marcus Glenn's in the future.

I returned to Park West Gallery after many years. It had remained a beautiful space, spacious, bright, and as always displaying famous and unique art, from the classics Picasso, Dali, Goya, Chagall, Rembrandt, to contemporary artists, David Le Batard, David Najar – to name a few. Polite and helpful staff. An extraordinary pleasure to walk through the gallery rooms and see world class art.

We discovered a small blemish on our original artwork when we were hanging "Western Wonder." Since contacting Park West Gallery, in September 2023, our contact, Ester Vasquez, did such an excellent job of taking care of us. The communication was awesome. She made sure we knew what was happening on each step. From the original phone calls, getting the box to return it (the 1st box was damaged, so received a 2nd box), returning it and for informing us when the box was received at your facility. Once the correction had been made, she sent us pictures to approve the finished work before it went to framing. When it was ready to ship back to, she let us know. All I am doing now is waiting for the artwork. It has been a pleasure dealing with Park West Gallery, from the land auction to now. Saving up for the next Park West adventure with my daughter Candy. Very happy customer. Pam 2023

We purchased two pieces on a cruise and were assured they would arrive within 6 weeks. It's been 12 weeks so far and just got notice that one is getting framed.
They also sell these pieces as limited items in an auction format which implies they actually poses the pieces being sold. When I inquired about my pieces I was informed that they were at the mercy of the artist to ship the piece to them.
Save yourself from the useless middle man and buy directly from the artist.
Nicholas Owings — Google review
EDITED- Joan with Park West called and helped me. She located a piece and I had it in my hand within two weeks of this review. The piece is beautiful! I’m thankful for this platform to get it handled and so thankful Joan helped. — Original post -So frustrated bc I cannot get an answer about an order I placed and paid for on a Celebrity Cruise in July!! It’s the Michael Godard Bond 007 piece. I was told 12 weeks for delivery. EVERY TIME I call I’m told “we’ll look into it and call you back” or “we’ll get you an update”. I was only told “it’s still with the artist” and they have NO IDEA when I’ll get it! So frustrating to be out almost $2000 to not have the art I purchased. If someone who is a senior level in customer service reads this, please help secure what I ordered.

I bought over $4K worth of art from these people aboard a cruise ship. The initial art that they sent to me was improperly packaged, like they sent me something that was just lying around, threw it in a leftover box with a little bubble wrap and said yeah that's good enough for this guy and sent it. It was broken in transit. The art was worth over $1K and they charged me a fortune for shipping. I really feel if I had not been there to reject the art in front of the FEDEX driver I would have not had a leg to stand on (see photos). They did send a replacement, and the other items I bought were shipped properly.
Beyond this I made the mistake of signing up for their auctions online. Despite my requests to unsubscribe and my requests to not be called they continue to send me email and call me.
The initial experience I had with them was OK, but the length of time needed to ship the art, the lack of proper shipping and the endless spamming of me with emails and phone calls has made me upset. I would not buy from them again. Learn from my mistake.

Bought some arts on our first Princess cruise in April 2023. The staff were all very helpful onboard.
We were a bit sceptical and worried after reading some reviews. Staff explained on the cruise the arts they sell are not print copies. They are either copies printed on different materials (i.e. On aluminium or canvas, etc.) and authenticated from the artist by signing on the pieces. We can understand they can't create the same painting exactly the same every time. This is the best way of investing art as a beginner like us.
The paintings arrived exactly on time as the onboard staff Told us within 6 weeks from the date cruise journey ended for us. As you can see the packaging they delivered them in. Perfectly packed for all of them. We love the fact they sent them one by one which was very thoughtful in case of any problems. We couldn't be happier with our purchases. Worth every penny.
All in all, 5 star 🌟 for our experiences. Wish we purchased some more now.

I purchased a painting on a cruise in August…I know..dumb of me (but it was my first time and I really liked the painting) the painting was great but I had frame problems and I sent it back to get it reframed from them. Another month went by or so and I got my painting back and it had the same issue. It was like I was being made a fool. I told them about it and they said to take it to a local frame shop and they can send me a frame. I did just that and finally got my painting how it was suppose to be sent to me as. I wasted multiple trips to fed ex and a frame shop and they refuse to reimburse me for my time and gas spent on this. I told them l’m willing to be compensated for the difference of the $100 coverage for the reframing, they told me no. My reframing costed $40…I believe the amount of time and gas spent, $60 is a good compensation…my painting is finally how it’s suppose to be and it is January now… DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THEM! If you have doubts, just go to Yelp and read the reviews there. I’m not the only one with issues with them.

Want to buy a painting or a print on board a ship? AVOID these guys. I bought a print, and received a lesser value copy. My bad, I really should have read the Google reviews. NEVER EVER buy a painting on board. You have no control over what they will send you. And try suing a company in Miami from your overseas home base. Best you don't buy.
Sa a follow up to our experience, we read the Google reviews. Not good. We contacted Park West, who confirmed in writing the AP print we bought was of higher value than the one the sent. That was quickly withdrawn with a referral to an invoice that "on the back" says "Park West do not warrant" the print we saw would be sent. What? We saw a print. We bought it, it did not arrive. Some other arbitrary print did.
In the reviews there are may refences to legal cases against Park West. For similar stunts.
Simply put, we get what we bought, or another legal case is about to ensue.
See the prints uploaded.

My experience w/ PW have mostly been positive. I enjoy the art I've chosen. I'm looking forward to visiting some of their galleries in the future or attending a land event someday.
When a frame on one of my art pieces had improper fit, my customer service experience was smooth, the piece was re-framed nicely and in the time they estimated.
One downside is that if you attend a cruise auction the sales associates can sometimes be pretty pushy, and maybe they bend the truth a little to far in order to make a sale. With the telecasts, it's not that way. The concierges Ive worked with have always been gracious and helpful.
I actually enjoy learning about the artists and types of art. I think perhaps PW needs to come out with a glossary of their art terminology because some folks seem to get confused with things like: graphic works, unique, original, limited edition, etc. I feel bad hearing about others experiences, when they're left feeling "scammed", but maybe a little education can help alleviate that. Side note: I have to stress the importance of reading the fine print of the auction agreements the associates give out!
One minor detail. I'm not so sure any gallery should be conducting their own appraisals on the art they sell. Seems maybe like a bit "conflict of interest"? But maybe that's common practice, I'm only a casual observer.

The staff on the Princess cruise was amazing. I absolutely love my artwork. I was not expecting my print to be framed. I was blown away when I received my package. Thank you so much! I Will treasure this art fir the rest of my life. It will remind me of my New York trip and my Alaskan cruise. Also the lovely story of the artist. We are very happy.

Bought a few works on a recent cruise. Delivered on time but the frame was a different color. We had ordered Gold but instead, they were all Copper. This was unfortunate because I liked the style of the frame. After returning them and going back and forth with Cristan Padilla we decided on a new frame. The communication was consistent and thorough. They finally arrived early i the new year and we couldn't be happier. Two of them are already hanging on the wall but we still need to pick a spot for the third one. Going through this process I would have to say the worst part was dealing with FedEx, LOL. Great work by the team at Park West and we commend Cristan for their patience and professionalism.
The Detroit Institute of Arts is an art museum located in Detroit, Michigan. It was founded in 1885 and has since grown to house over 100 galleries with a range of American and international art on display from ancient to modern eras. The Beaux-Arts building was designed by Paul Cret and quickly became the temple of art, adding two wings in the 1960s and 1970s.
The Detroit Institute of Arts was an absolutely amazing experience! The exhibits, architecture, and artwork are top notch and this is one of my favorite museums I have ever visited! We spent all day here and I feel like we still didn't even scratch the surface. If I could change anything I would have planned to come right at opening so we could experience this for the entirety of opening! You will be amazed at the beauty of this museum, I highly recommend it!

This place is beautiful! The staff is so wonderful and friendly and helpful. You can buy tickets once you get there but if you buy them in advance, it goes faster. Elevators and stairs, bathrooms on every floor. 3 floors total. Price of tickets aren't bad either. Went to the Van Gogh exhibit, but will definitely be back to see the rest.

Good museum with a variety of collections. A variety of collections from across the world. Some areas are better represented than others in terms of history of the art from the region.
Some interactive bits across the galleries for young patrons. A few more interactive moments would be nice, and would provide more talking points for groups who visit the galleries.
Asia, Africa, and Hellenistic collections are good introductions to the arts. The gallery on Egypt showcases select pieces, and makes for a great introduction to the culture. Native American section represents art pieces from the south, central and north America. Residents of Wayne county have free entry on select days at the museum.

There are so many exhibits to check out. It's nice to wander in and out of rooms filled with ancient to modern items. It's a really nice collection. Make sure you have about 4 hours to see everything and grab a bite in the cafe. Lots of decent options to chose from. Parking across the street is convenient and only $7.

such a great place! The tour guides are phenomenal. The art is beautiful, the facility is beautiful, and there is so much enriching education to be had, including history! I enjoyed reading about the history here. The displays are well thought out, and there are even ways for the kids to get involved, including a "seek and find" in certain rooms.
I took a public tour and it was really engaging and a wonderful way to learn about the museum, the artists, the art, and the story behind it all.
I was happily surprised to find out that they have many other programs throughout the week! I am so excited to come back.

There is just so much to see. I could spend days just staring at the artwork. Mind you I am partial to art. We went and they had a car exhibit and they were so unique. Also seeing a real life van Gogh painting was really cool. I'd definitely go again. They also had art from Mexico, middle east, native Americans, Japan and Korea. I love international art so it was fun to look at everything. Also seeing a real life mummy was really cool but creepy to think there's a skeleton in there.

What a great museum and the collection is more than great. I so didn’t expect it. First floor with African, Asian etc art with great narrative and stories. Very engaging to read. Also, I loved landscapes by American artists, 2h at the museum was not enough. Will come back! Not to mention an astonishing mural by Diego Rivera. Also, thanks to very polite staff of the museum - made me feel very welcomed.

Incredible museum! This place is huge. We came right at 9am and it was great, quiet and not a lot of people until later on. It’s beautiful here and so much to see. We spent about 3 hours and still wasn’t enough to get through the whole place. The little cafe is beautiful, great spot to grab a coffee and snack while taking a break. The history here is amazing, everything is placed beautifully and tons of information. Have to come back for a full day to really take our time and enjoy!

Fantastic art museum with friendly staff members! Upon entering, I was met by an enthusiastic staff member who explained the layout of the museum to me, and then struck by the majestic Great Hall. But the highlight lied beyond the great hall - seeing Diego Rivera's Detroit Industry Murals in person was such an awe-inspiring experience! There were staff members stationed in the area, one of whom had a great chat with me surrounding my questions about the murals.
The Rivera murals was not the only reason that made the visit worthwhile - I found that the museum has quite a comprehensive art collection, not just of Western art movements from medieval to modern times, but also of non-Western art. The African and Islamic galleries were pretty good-sized, although the Egyptian gallery was a bit disappointing. It would have also been nice if the museum put more thought into the re-creations of the cultures' architecture; the current re-creations seemed half-baked with artifacts combined with modern materials.
Depite that, the interior architecture of the museum was quite varied and worth seeing for an architecture enthusiast. I liked the modern designs of the stairs and Prentis Court as well as the historic-comtemporary charms of Kresge Court (which very well reflects the identity of the city!).
In all, I only had 2.5 hours to spend at the museum and that was only enough for an in-depth visit to about half of the galleries. A jewel and a must-visit in the city!

One of the absolute most unique and interesting collections I have ever seen. Not many public art facilities match up to DIA. It can get crowded but the staff is willing to lend knowledge even if you aren't on your. The lady that explained the Diego Rivera mural was the highlight of the day.

I am a huge museum visitor, and this collection is by far one of the best I’ve seen in the US. Not only that, but the courtyards are stunning. I only spent about five hours here and saw maybe 1/3? I recommend visiting it over two days. Enjoy lunch or drinks in the cafe- the flatbread and summer drinks were amazing.
All in all, this is one of my top places to visit recently. I highly recommend.

The museum has an amazing and diverse collection. My particular favorites were the Native American, Impressionists, and Modern exhibits. And the gift shop is a collection all by itself! Amazing! I even enjoyed the curry chicken salad at their Cafe.

One of the highlights for sure is to see the Diego Rivera mural. This mural is enormous in size and absolutely mesmerizing. This will be my second visit here and I really enjoyed both of my visits. During this last visit I had the opportunity to see a wonderful photography exhibit by James Barnor, this series followed his work from his early days of filming in black and white to his later years of using color. I enjoyed the photos so much I bought his book. I love this museum and will continue to visit it each time I pass through Michigan. Detroit is a fabulous city with much more to offer than expected and this museum is the same. Parking is easy, staff are friendly and helpful, there is a cafeteria and a indoor cafe that feels like you are in an outdoor courtyard. There is a great gift shop, beautiful building, clean bathrooms and many exhibits of all types. Whatever type of art you are interested in they have something that will satisfy! Support the arts and this community and pay a visit here and just down the street check out the modern art museum as well.

A tremendous collection of art pieces from all over the world, covering centuries of different cultures. Very impressive and certainly a “good deal” for the cost of entry.
I would knock off 0.5 stars if it were possible, simply because the layout of the rooms becomes very confusing and you may end up missing some exhibits because you almost get lost on the floors.
Wish the flow was just a bit better organized…

I spent a great deal of my childhood at this museum and was very excited to bring my family. The Diego Rivera is a must but there are a great many musts, and it is very kid-friendly. They had a cozy coffee cafe in the courtyard and a lunchroom. It is still an amazing collection, impossible to see everything in a single visit, and I am looking forward to returning on our next visit to Michigan.
Our visit was on the weekday. We found street parking that was good for 2 hours only. Download the app; you can renew only exactly when the 2 hours is up. Backpacks are not allowed. The front desk directed us to the FREE and secure lockers.
The only downside was we had 3 interactions with security; two for being warned that we were too close to an exhibit (?) and the 3rd for leaving out of an exit door behind other patrons only to be told it wasn't an exit. A sign off to the side said "Emergency Exit". Very poorly placed. Oddly enough, I've heard this same complaint from other patrons both friends/family and on Internet reviews.

An impressive place. I heard a rumor, years ago, that the city was thinking of selling off the art in an attempt to raise cash to avoid bankruptcy. I'm very glad that didn't happen.
This is a really nice museum! Three floors with exhibits from Native Americans, S. Korea, Africa, South & S.E. Asia, Egypt plus the more expected European (Italian, British & Dutch when I was there (3/21)) works. Marble busts, huge canvases, metalwork, ceramics, masks, beadwork and more.
And if you live in the three counties (Macomb, Wayne & Oakland) you get in for free. The parking is $7 across the street.
We (my teenage son & I) meandered thru in just over two hours, saw all three floors, but didn't linger anywhere. Kind of a "drive by" viewing experience.
Guided tours and school groups were also there on the 1st day of spring.

This is truly a world-class museum. In my particular area of interest, Medieval through Baroque art, the collection is equal to the best. The Dutch and American paintings have few peers. This is an encyclopedic collection, and there are excellent Native American and Asian sections, although the Egyptian and Classical collections are not a strong point. I spent three blissful days here and didn't see everything; I'll definitely be back!

I have been dozens of times and will continue to go every so often. The art is amazing but the architecture of the building itself is breathtaking.

Haven't been in years and while visiting Detroit decided to take my daughter for the first time, was not a disappointment. Very well run very well-managed, really really enjoyed some of the surprises of the famous painting and works of art. Definitely will be back... Oh and the Cafe in the middle of the location has improved drastically and the food was fan-freaking-tastic. A hidden gem in Detroit. It is a wonderful museum that is well worth a visit! The building itself is beautiful, and it has some truly special and iconic art pieces by artists such as Picasso and Van Gogh.
The Motown Museum is a popular tourist attraction in Detroit that tells the history of the recording studio where some of the biggest hits of all time were produced. The museum features displays and exhibits about the development of Motown, as well as artifacts from the hit songs that were made there.
I made it to visit just in time before them closing for renovations. Coming here was such an invaluable experience. I learned so much about important milestones in music and black history. I was in town for work but made a point to come visit and it was super worthwhile. Your admission cost includes a tour and although it’s only an hour, you learn so much. The guides and staff are all really knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. I highly encourage experiencing this. It’s a cool and unique experience. The tours are really well done. It was easily the highlight of my trip.

Don't let the small front of the building fool you. Inside they have captured true history. Excellent tour, and thank you to the security lady outside as we arrived on a day before they opened. We returned the following day and she greeted us with a warm and friendly smile welcoming us back.

MOTOWN MUSEUM
Detroit, Michigan
August 29, 1993 - A friend and I drove my 1959 Cadillac from southern California eastbound on Route 66. After reaching the end of the route we drove on to Detroit to tour the Motown Museum. Absolutely awe inspiring to step foot into that recording studio where all of those classic tracks were born. Now all of these years later, it is so wonderful to see the expansion and renovation taking place. I have lasting memories of our visit and look forward to a return trip. Highly recommended.

**Please Note** this museum is not currently operating, it has begun renovations and for some reason the Google listing does not reflect this. **Edit: they’ve changed it to temporarily closed after I brought it to their attention. Cool. There is fencing around the museum (not shown in picture as I wanted a shot of the building and pushed my phone into the fence) and I had already gotten a ride there before realizing it is not operating tours until next year according to the sign on the door.

My bf and I have been waiting to come to the Motown Museum since he moved to Detroit in Jan 2021. Finally after a year and a half later, Motown Museum undergone some remodeling and we were able to go inside. It was $15 to go on and it was a 30 minute tour. Our tour guide was amazing. She gave us a lot of information and was enthusiastic during the whole tour. She gave us enough time to take pictures at different areas of the museum. We saw Berry Gordy’s actual apartment and saw Studio A which was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I can’t believe that small room created such amazing music. A lot of priceless history and a must see if you are in the area.

Very, very cool museum that captures the history and essence of Motown music. Our tour guide was fantastic and super knowledgeable which made it an overall interactive and positive experience. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something to do in the area.

Absolutely phenomenal! The amount of culture and history in this place was mind blowing. The guide did an excellent job telling us about all the history of Motown and my entire family enjoyed the experience. You are literally stepping back in time when you visit this museum. My husband was born and raised in Detroit and had never been here. He thanked me for wanting to go because he loved every second of it. If you’re locals or from out of town and want to learn and see some iconic history, I highly recommend going.

Lifelong goal fulfilled and surpassed! The museum took me back to when I was growing up, the state of the world, goals, dreams, and the music that formed me.
❤, loved, 😍 it.
People were visiting from other countries and here I was a local who had never been. It's worth the time and money; the tour guides are worth a million.
The only improvement that could be made would be secure parking, but maybe that will be added with the improvements that are planned.
Well done! 🎶💞🎶❤

Would highly recommend visiting the Motown Museum if you get the chance. There is so much history and music to absorb! A lot of the museum has been left how it was when it was a recording studio. We had a great tour guide, Tyra, who made the tour fun and informational. You can't freely walk around the museum, you need to be a part of a tour so it is recommended that you book a ticket in advance online if you can so they don't run out of spots. Make sure you give yourself extra time for parking, there is mostly street parking available.

We didn’t know we should have gotten our tickets in advance because there was a wait of about an hour to take the tour so we will be going back for the tour. The gift shop is very nice and we were able to grab some really nice Motown items before we left! Lots of history here and definitely will be coming back to get the full experience. All the employees there were very nice and helpful!

An excellent experience is to visit Hitsville USA and hopefully they you'll catch a good band playing while you're there. I don't know the bands name - but they showed up and showed out. I really enjoyed them, the audience started dancing on the lawn there were food/ice cream vendors available on-site. In addition, the Motown Souvenir tent had a variety of t-shirts, CD's, Keychains, jewelry and a large selection of other items to choose from. This was my highlight event while visiting Detroit.

The tour was awesome. We saw the famous Studio A where most of the iconic recordings took place. A lot of stuff in there are actual things from the 60s and 70s when Motown was at it's peak. The tour guides are very knowledgeable. It's very easy to find a parking spot. And they have plenty of photos of the label's legendary artists recording

I've always wanted to visit the Motown Museum and finally got the chance! I didn't like the fact they don't allow photos or video inside during the tour. I recommend you buy your tickets in advance or you'll be waiting a long time to get inside. Tickets sell out fast!

Well, well, well! I don't even know where to begin! But what I could say is A TIME WAS HAD!!!! If you haven't been GO! I've been wanting to go for many, many years. And I finally hopped on a plane from Chicago to Detroit. And I have absolutely no regrets I'm glad I finally did. I plan on coming back many, many times again. I learned so much from Stevie Wonder on down to Boys to men. The music and vibe make you wanna cry happy tears that's how much you feel it. The staff are really warm and welcoming. You can take all the photos you want....as you can see I did! But they do ask that you do no video recording. It was amazing that this place look exactly as it does on the movies. If you go be sure to pick up something from they gift shop as well. Until we meet again Motown 😘.

We did the Motown Museum tour today ( 4 Jan 24) and it was incredible. The tour guide was knowledgeable and courteous and the artifacts from such an important and iconic location are presented in a perfect manner. From the introductory video to the time you get to spend in the iconic recording studio, you can't help but feel like you're part of history. If you're a fan of Motown music, this is a must visit, top of the bucket list thing to do. I can't wait until the expansion is completed.

First time in Detroit and visited the Motown Museum. This was one of the highlights of the trip. Learning about the history of music legends and was fascinating! How the world was changed from this location and it’s humble beginnings. This is true black history excellence!! We are standing on the shoulders of giants. Glad we had an opportunity to visit now and looking forward to returning when the multimillion dollar renovation is completed. We purchased our tickets at the door (student, senior and military discounts offered). There is a gift shop on site and the guided tour is efficient and completed in about one hour (60 minutes). Our tour guide was very lively and engaging. I will give him 10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am a Detroiter, so I've been to Hitsville, U.S.A. multiple times. This time, I went for the sole purpose of reporting back to you!
Admission is $20 for adults. If you have a Bank of America credit/debit card, it is FREE the 1st weekend of every month! 🙌🏽
Parking is free on the street. Utilize both sides of the street.
Guided tours only. Groups go every 30 minutes, and it's an hour tour. There is a maximum of 25 people per group. If you are pressed for time, purchase your ticket in advance online. If you have time to spare, just show up! If one group is full, you can catch the next group in 30 minutes.
The hour goes very fast. The guide is kind and knowledgeable. It's a great opportunity for all ages. If you are a music lover or a history buff, this is the place for YOU!

Incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were lucky enough to score the last four tickets on a Saturday. If you can, purchase your tickets ahead of time to ensure you secure a spot. The only way to experience the museum is through a guided tour so if you don’t have tickets, you’ll only be able to check out the gift shop. Our tour guide, Monet, was perfect. Friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and even able to crack a smile after a long day of saying the same thing over and over again. The sites and sounds alone are worth any wait you endure or any distance you travel!

The Comerica Park is a baseball stadium located in Detroit, Michigan. It was built in 2000 and is the home of the Detroit Tigers. The stadium features a 50-foot Ferris wheel and diverse food court.
I am a huge fan of the Detroit Tigers and baseball in general. Each time I come to Comerica Park I leave with everlasting memories. The prices of food and drinks is a little high but coming to a game is the best experience ever. Come out to a game and support your Tigers!

Absolutely wonderful stadium!! We came here for the first time this past weekend to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert and it was absolutely wonderful! VERY clean, very good security, comfortable seating, very easy to find sections for seating too. Super friendly staff at all the food stands and nice fresh tasty food. By far one of the best stadiums I've been to! The concert was well put together and went wonderfully. The security check before entering was smooth and very fast and friendly. Even very easy to find parking areas all over by the stadium as well! All in all a really great experience. Highly recommend attending a concert or ball game here!

This is a beautiful park and a great baseball experience. The layout is great, beautiful Tigers at the home plate, and not a bad seat in the hose. We got to enjoy Beach night and Friday night fireworks which was a great 15 min show.
+Visual effects of video board were amazing!
-Audio in the stadium could be better. We could hear all of the mids/highs, but could not hear any of the bass. Need to get some better subs in the upper decks!

What a great stadium! My family and I were up from Indiana and attended our first Tigers game. Let's see where do I begin. This stadium does have a bag/purse policy. So if you plan on attending a ball game, make sure your purse is a wristlet 4 x 6. We had no issues bringing my granddaughter stroller in. It was actually a breeze going through security. The decor of Tigers 🐅 displayed in and around the ballpark was great. This ballpark is very kid friendly. My granddaughter enjoyed riding on the carousel. The 💺 were comfortable compared to some other stadiums.

Very nice park, been to over half the current MLB parks and lord knows how many of the old parks. This is a nice park. Friendly staff, not a bad seat. I got a great seat for $28. Beer, hot dogs, and Major League Baseball...what else can you ask for in America?

I have no complaints. I do, however, have a confession 🤦♀️. I'm not a huge baseball fan. 😬 This was my first major league baseball game. We were invited by friends so we weren't going to turn the opportunity down. I felt like the stadium was very nice, clean and a lot of food and drink options. Obviously not without draining your pockets, but that is expected at any sports venue.

The stadium is great. I will say if you are going for handicap friendly seating, try to stick to the terrace level. They are about $56 a person but put you in better seats that are more accessible.

Comerica Park is so far the best baseball field I have been to. They have so many great food options including the classics like hot dogs and sausages, along with fair food like corn dogs and elephant ears, and others like tacos, nachos, pizza, ice cream, and more. There were a lot of people there but I never felt crowded. The seats have a lot of space around them. It was a very fun and comfortable experience. Got to stay for Friday night fireworks and there was such a fun and exciting vibe as they were getting ready for a decently long show!

My daughter and I went to the Tigers vs. St. Louis Cardinals games on May 1, 2024. We had a great time. It was her first professional baseball game.
We walked around and saw the carousel and different statues that were there.
If you buy food and drink, be prepared to spend about $100 on 2 people... plus souvenirs. I forgot my hat and had to buy a new one while I was inside. The hat was about $30. The cheapest food item I saw was $6. And that was for a bottle of water.
Overall, we had an amazing time watching them play!!!

Not impressed with the Kiosk system. People INSIDE were Great- people At Ticket windows, rude as can be, AS IF they're Doing You a favor getting paid to sell or accept tickets. Poor setting for concert- concrete baseball bleachers. Prices are Disgusting- 8.95 for a Hot Dog on rollers. 8$ for a 16oz water. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING AREA. Not enough restrooms, vendors, nada. We went. We enjoyed the show- from damn near the furthest row away from the stage. No Regular beer, All Craft or Light. We agreed, we don't care to go back. It was an experience we'd never had, and, neither care to go a second time. Not even for a ball game.

It's a nice ballpark and although it seats over 41000 feels like a small ball park. The park is athletically pleasing and has great team details on the facade. It's a great ballpark to visit if you are a fan of the team or just enjoy baseball in general.

Fantastic views of the city can take your eyes off the game at times. One of the best baseball venues in the country.

This was my first visit to Comerica park and it was a really nice stadium. I did not explore a lot of the concessions or anything, but from what I saw there were many food and drink options.
The seating was nice as it wasn't as steep as some stadiums are in terms of the layout. Nice skyline views when looking to the outfield.

What a fun stadium to enjoy a game at. I've never attended a concert here, but baseball is a blast.
Tons of entrances make it easy to get in. Lots of food and drink options, just be ready for stadium prices. Stores to get merch and a lot of tributes to see walking around.
Tons of things for the kids and the whole family including photo opportunities and rides.

Great ballpark! All the seats are decent, even in the upper levels. Concessions prices are high, but where aren’t they high? Good choices for food, though, and they do carry Pepsi products if you’re wondering. Our seats were in 314 for these photos.

Had a great family night out! The Tigers didn't win, but it was a fun game anyway! Even if you aren't that into baseball, it is a great place to go for the food, activities for the children and great atmosphere! They do have a purse/backpack and diaper bag rule now, so be aware of that. You can't bring in purses or bags over a certain size, but they do offer complimentary bag check! I gave them my bag, and they took my name and phone number and gave me a ticket to bring back to retrieve my bag after the game. You can go pick it up at any time, of course, and you have up to 30 minutes to go get it once the game is over. It was a very efficient and smooth process! In all, it was a great evening and game. The food is always great and there is always something for everyone, just make sure you bring enough money. It's by no means super expensive, but not super cheap either. You do get what you pay for by way of quantity and quality, so that is a plus! In all, I can't wait to go back!

This used to be my favorite place to go. But this time before it's great, it's actually uncool. We booked our tickets online, we got in, - but were not able to go to our seats. Understandable, - it was raining and the game was delayed. Everyone needed to be undercover (because of lightning and heavy rain).
Once you're inside the venue you can't re-enter. Very much of a downside if you have kids. Often you forget something in the car (girlfriends or kids phone), or you need to medicate.
Also smokers have to survive without smoking for several hours. (The smoking section has been permanently closed ) They will not accommodate the customer, won't create a smoking section or even let people re-enter after they like to smoke outside.
We spent for 2 of us close to 1k for for just this day, including tickets, parking, food, drinks and updated fan attire - we like to support,
The drinks are expensive....... You can buy for sure a 12pack for the price of one beer here, - a water bottle is half the price, impressively similar is a cocktail .....
After all, we'll not be back unless we get invited - but even then I'll warn my friends about the smoking

Went to see the Cardinals play in Detroit at Comerica Park, located in downtown Detroit. Solid park. I love a ballpark downtown. It’s a modern stadium with two iconic features… the tiger statues and the outfield fountain.
Loved all the marketing using the D. I sat in the lower bowl with club access. The club was fantastic and offered elevated food for a ballpark like salads and wrap. Oh and probably my favorite thing was the Baseball Ferris Wheel.
Glad I went. Cards lost. :o(

Comerica Park was a pretty nice ball park. Originally from St. Louis and Busch Stadium is nowhere near as nice as this. So much room to walk around a lot of food choices. There could be a few more bathrooms but all in all a really great place to visit.
Sobering museum featuring a WWII-era boxcar & other local & global stories of the Nazi regime.
This is a wonderful place to bring a school group. Our tour guide was tremendously knowledgeable about the exhibits and The Holocaust. The students all had headphones, so everyone could hear him speak. I'd highly recommend visiting with your students or without if you're not fortunate enough to be a teacher. 😊

I haven't been to this museum since grade school, and some aspects are just as I remember them. This is an invaluable experience for anyone who has an interest in WWII and The Holocaust, also for anyone who had families that lived through it, or lost loved ones. The artifacts and exhibits are humbling and devastating, but the spirit of perseverance carries through. It happened before, it is our responsibility to make sure it never happens again.

Had always intended to go since I had been to the DC Holocaust Museum before. This one is more about the education of the impacted people, the lives of them, the atrocities committed, and more one how to prevent it for reoccurring than the DC museum.
This is an older museum though so design sensibilities for museums have changed drastically in the years between the two.
Honestly I feel this is more uplifting than DC, but DC being more of a museum destination has to be more impactful in a shorter time.
Both are definitely worth the visit if you have only been to one before, check the other out also. Don't let history repeat these abuses.

Super informative. I went on Sunday at about 11:45 am and there was a survivor speaking for about an hour. Then we had a nearly 2 hour guided tour.

Make sure you give yourself at least 3-4 hours because there is a lot to see.

This is not a fun museum, but it is really, really, good. It can be a hard experience to learn first-hand, at a personal level, about the Holocaust. I would 100% recommend this museum, and think that everyone would benefit from a closer look at this terrible part of human history. Let us not forget.

Quite an eye opening experience on the holocaust. We liked all the details that were on display. I think the lights could have been better placed so as to eliminate reflection on the wall artifacts. Additionally, the font colors and sizes made the texts a bit difficult to read due to dim lighting.

My wife & I went visit here in 2017. From we the beginning we had an kind of idea of what to expect, yet we weren't quite sure what to expect. But upon entering we soon realized this wasn't just an average museum. One of the first things you see as you walk in is one of the actual rail cars used in the transport of thousands to their final destination. The whole place is fascinating, educational, yet very sombering. The items on display were from both sides in story line fashion from the time it began, to end, & how things have progressed since. A picture frame display of an actual tree like the one Ann Frank seen upon her last days is seen at the Museum. The tree is from a seed that came from the tree that provided her the only view of the world outside. The highlight of the trip was story telling from an actual survivor of the Holocaust. He did a very good job, drawing the audience in, as he explained the real story of how his life was during the early years of his life. Folks you can't get more real then that. If you get a chance to hear one of these stories from these folks who lived it I would HIGHLY recommend attending as their numbers are dwindling. The only thing that was very disheartening that was seen, & over heard was from some of the other visitors themselves. Youth groups, & young people in general that displayed a lack of interest in history, & showed a lack respect to those that have come before, & the elder adults with them weren't that much better. Very sad to see. Apparently there's still a battle going on. My only hope is that the battle with the Jewish people, & the unfair treatment of them will one day end.

I don't even know how to begin except by saying this experience took my breath away. First, our group didn't really know what to expect. We booked a reservation for 5 through Opentable and was not disappointed. We signed up for a wine tasting and experienced a sensation of flavours. The hostess (Beverly) was extremely kind and enthusiastic. Beverly was very helpful and gave us a great assortment of tastings. No wine tours at the moment due to covid but we still got our free samples ! Great service, Michael the wine guy gave us a great explanation of the wines for the samples and he even lined up the wine flights with the bottles for the aesthetics (he knew I’m a shutterbug). Great selection of wines and a scenic picnic area to try the wines outside safely and responsibly :)

Went to the winery for their afternoon tour. Wasn't sure what to expect, but it exceeded all my expectations. For $10+tax, we got a tasting of their sparkling wine. We were able to walk with our wine through the cellar and filtering area. It was really cool to see the behind the scenes although being a weekend, not much was going on. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable of the wine, wine making process, the geography of the area and gave a great Mexican restaurant recommendation. We finished with 3 tastings, and since the bar area was full, we went downstairs and got to sit in a barrel booth which was an added bonus. The value and experience was excellent. Highly recommend. It's is first come, first served. I can comment on their busy season. First Saturday in April there were 4 people on the afternoon tour.

We dropped by to pick up some wine, noticed the tasting table wasn’t busy so we took the opportunity to try a few before buying. The lady that served us was such a sweetheart. I forgot her name but i will call her chardonnay as that is the wine she recommended in the flight of white wines and she was spot on, we purchased it, amongst a few more. We did a white and res flight of wines and sat outside. This place is so pleasant, staff was great too. My star rating is in reference to the food - The only thing I can complain about is the $30 charcuterie box.... I can't express the level of disappointment in this. It was the most expensive item on the menu and we assumed for $30 that should be a great choice for our group of 5 to share and pick at.. But what we got was a lunchable. Please change this, for $30 we expect alot more from this and for it to atleast be on a board of some sort and not a plastic lid..... Otherwise this would be a better review as it was a beautiful day, but all my group can talk about since Sunday was the disappointment in the charcuterie box. I do have to mention Troy though, he was amazing and deserves 5 stars on his own for how he went above and beyond to make our experience great!

Had the personalized pet labels made for 6 red and 6 white bottles. Emailed asking for the Christmas/holiday border themes and text (i.e. Merry Christmas) options to choose from and never got a response. Got the bottles today and they are literally just the photos I sent. Super disappointed. They look cheap and not at all suited for the holidays. Definitely not what the advertisement depicted.

This was my first real winery experience, and it didn't disappoint!! The tour is more than reasonably priced, especially considering you get a delicious sparkling wine to take with you for the tour and then a flight of 4 wine samples of your choosing. The tour guide was absolutely lovely!!!! Patient, knowledgeable and most of all a very simple, kind, down to earth person.
The wine was delicious. The grounds are pretty. The tour is informative without being too long.
I would recommend this experience, 1 million percent. Thank you Pelee Island Winery.

I LOVE Pelee wine. Tried their cab sauv and never went back! The more types I try the more I am impressed with their selection. Decided to buy in bulk from their website and highly recommend.

Our group of three did a tour today with Michael. The customer service from the time we walked in the door, to the knowledge, friendliness and kindness was above and beyond. Michael did everything from education without being boring (funny and entertaining), to great recommendations to taking great photos of our group! He checked in on us while we were chatting without being too much. What more can you ask for! Thank you for a great experience. I’d highly recommend!!

This was our absolute favorite winery that we visited in Canada!
We walked inside to very friendly staff members who were helpful with our questions. We chose to do the tour which also included 4 wine tastings for each person and a souvenir wine glass for $10 a person.
We had Beverly as our tour guide and she was an absolute delight. She was so friendly, informative, and enthusiastic the whole time. She takes you through the process of making and bottling wine, while showing you the barrels and equipment used. During the tour, we tried the empress sparkling Riesling, Lola rose cab franc, swallow tale Pinot Grigio, peele island gewurztraminer, stone and, and semi sweet merlot. We really enjoyed each of these-so much my wife and I decided to each do a separate tasting after the tour!
For their tastings, you are able to choose any 4 from their expansive list. It is $20-$5 goes towards their charity and you get a $15 credit to use in the store after. We chose empress orange gewurztraminer, unoaked Chardonnay, JS Hamilton Pinot Grigio, Vidal ice wine, bourbon barrel baco noir, Thaddeus smith, monarch red and the red ice wine.
We loved the wines so much from this place we ended up buying 9 bottles.
This is an absolute MUST! The wine is just too good.

Had a tasting here, and it was great! I also really liked how a portion of the tasting went to charity, and the remainder was given back as a credit to the store.
The museum Greenfield Village is located in Detroit and was founded by Henry Ford. The attractions include buildings from America's history that have been relocated to the open-air museum. The land that the museum occupies is also used for forests, rivers, and pasture for horses and sheep.
Great place to spend the day. Cannot see it all in one day. One downside I would say, the trades area was not as big as I remember. Several smaller villages I know of, the have more trades. If there are multiple people entering or you know your going more than once get a membership.

If you like pioneer villages, well let me tell you, this is the Disney World of pioneer villages! It's so big, we couldn't do it all, will have to return someday. We rode the model t and carousel and train and they were so fun. Almost all the houses were staffed with knowledgeable people to explain stuff and answer questions. We had a frozen custard and it was scrumptious. Loved the crafting demonstrations. All the employees are dressed in period clothing and are so nice. Just a fantastic place. Hope to return someday.

This was a nice piece of the Henry Ford Museum/Theme Park, it is a great place to bring your kids and enjoy a day outside. Teach your kids some great American history, eat ice cream and take them for a ride in a model T. Everyone was so nice and seems like a lot of the staff have a piece of history tied to this place. I would definitely recommend a visit here while in Detroit.

The coolest museum I’ve ever been to. I love the living history and the array of buildings they have to offer. I wish more artists were at work in the crafts district. But for $40 per person I wish it didn’t cost extra to ride the train. Worth the price? Yes. But wow it’s expensive. Make sure you schedule a full day for this park!
Also it’s hard to find the ticket booth. When you enter the park, go to the building on the left. They should have a sign
The Simple Environmentalist — Google review
Really nice place to spend a day walking around during nice weather. Lots of historical buildings that are reassembled onsite brick by brick. This includes Henry Ford's childhood house, the Wright brothers' workshop, Edgar Alan Poe's house and much more. Also got to ride around in an original working well-maintained Model-T cars with a chauffeur driving around the park, which is almost 100 years old.
Really cool place to check out! The only problem may be finding parking. I'd plan on coming earlier during the day to make sure you get a spot closer to the entrance.

We have visited the village twice now and it is still amazing. Where else can you go and see the home where the Webster American Dictionary was finished, the bike shop where the first airplane was designed and built, and the laboratory where the light bulb was perfected. So much history and American culture in one unique village. Loved it. You can see a full review and video on our blog site. Search for Our Haunted Travels.

We splurged this year for the Christmas meal at the Eagle Tavern. I highly recommend it. It was a delicious seasonal meal with great entertainment. I'm so glad that we purchased our tickets in October. Holiday Noah's was even better than ever. We were able to to enjoy the Village all night due to the mild weather. Of course a trip is not complete without roasted chestnuts and a cup of cocoa.
Kristina Knueppel — Google review
Attended the Christmas event they offered. We stopped by the Mini Donut Truck inside the park. After consuming the mini donuts, I got the worst food poisoning I’ve probably had in my life. I’m assuming the donuts might have been undercooked, as they had a huge line and most likely wanted to get orders out quick. The village had a few Christmas attractions, but it felt like it wasn’t as eventful as the Halloween one per se. Overall, I would give them another chance to see the village but maybe avoid the mini donuts this time.

It was fun. I think it's a bit pricey and there wasn't much reenactment. It was good information and a good history lesson. Kids enjoyed it while being good exercise. Glass blowing was awesome.
Nicholas Williams — Google review
Absolutely loved it. Total package is a little pricey and food price is pretty ridiculous but we loved it. So much history in one place. Ford purchased and relocated historic homes to those 80 acre lot. Beautiful location with Model T for hire that will give you rides around the town as well as a carousel and a steam train.

Love learning about history and it is an awesome place to learn and see what life was like back then. Henry Ford didn't want us to forget our history. My boys loved it too will definitely go back.

This place is a definite must see! I can not recommend it enough for all those history buffs out there. Most of the buildings are staffed with actors who are very knowledgeable about the history of the village and are eager to share their knowledge with you. Don’t forget to buy tickets for rides on a model t, the train, and the carrousel. Be prepared for a lot of walking. Bring strollers and wagons for the littles.

Interesting open-air history museum founded by Henry Ford with houses of famous Americans that were moved to this location. OK, that feels a little off that you take someones history and make it your own. However I really enjoyed this museum and it was really well preserved and museums inside the museums. It is really difficult to have a museum (open-air) with many houses that were actually build there.

Greenfield Village was an amazing experience we went to Greenfield Village but also to the Henry Ford Museum I took my daughter with me who's very much into learning about history and we enjoyed ourselves. All of the exhibits in the museum where really interesting and just seeing the evolution of cars and even the art pieces it was just really a great experience. Even the area that was dealing with black history was super informative I had never seen the actual bus that Rosa Parks was arrested from (and they had that actual bus) great experience for my kids. The Greenfield Village area with people dressed in the clothes that they wore back in during those times was really cool to see the cars that they drove in we rode on the train that was powered by coal... that was a really cool experience. Seeing how certain things were made like the Pottery area or area where they made the pottery and the guide told us about how it was made and what they used to actually decorate the pottery after it's been fired and glazed. Really cool and really good information. We got to see them actually blow glass they showed the actual method in which they used to create glass sculptures and things like that. It was really hot but it was really cool to watch... great experience overall! Definitely want to come back and take nieces and nephews and my other kids with me the next time that I go.

Super cool place with lots to see and do. They're going for a period correct feel and they did a pretty good job.
My only regret is only scheduling one day on our RV trip to visit Greenfield and the Henry Ford Museum. We could have easily spent a day (or more) on each one and not been bored for a second.

Can't recommend this place enough. World class museum. Outdoor activities at Greenfield Village are educational and enjoyable. It's great to visit during an off time because it's not as busy, but, Saturdays in the summer have much more interaction at the park - historical baseball games, farmers working, musicians playing, etc. I'd recommend checking the calendar of events for more! Kids play area is great.
The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation is a sprawling space dedicated to showcasing American life and ideas. The living history exhibition hall boasts 18 intelligent touch screens and a gigantic assortment of exercises and games, while the historical centre exists in a few sections. The first includes the Museum of American Innovation, which showcases relics from the transport industry that Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat for. The museum is worth the visit for any youngster looking to learn about American history and famous figures from across the spectrum.
All of the staff was amazing! Each one spoke to you every time, acknowledged you when you entered, said bye when you left, always asked if you needed any assistance or had any questions. So so helpful and I'm so very appreciative, they were all wonderful! My son and I can't wait to go again! So many gift shops lol. Need at least 2+ hours to see it all, but it's worth it. So much history, some areas are like stepping back in time, it's so cool.

Absolutely incredible and exquisite exhibits. Everything is laid out so well you can easily travel from one section to the next, with a smooth transition in-between.
The cases are spaciously laid out as to not be overwhelming. This creates a good flowing atmosphere that keeps you moving and staring at the next item.
There's a nice cafeteria that you can eat at, but hold on to your tickets. You'll need them to get back into the museum.
The attendants are wonderful. The place is neat, tidy, and just fun. Definitely take your kids here, your wife, everyone will have something to look at here!

My family loved this walk through history. So much more than cars! We spent hours here and could have spent so much more. A must see if you ever make it to the Detroit area. Went on a Wednesday. It wasn’t overly crowded and we were able to enjoy it without feeling hampered by too many people.

This is a great place to visit! There is so much to do and see one day is certainly not enough.
If you are in the area I would certainly recommend stopping by. If you want to see it all without any rush I would recommend at least 1.5 days (assuming you take one full day). Make sure to look into the membership if visiting more than one day!
The museum is mostly wheelchair accessible and they also rent wheelchairs if needed.

The Henry Ford museum is definitely my favourite museum in Detroit. It displays a lot of history from the very beginning of motoring up to the present time. My favourite displays would be the United States presidents cars. Followed closely by the 1941 Allegheny Locomotive one of the largest steam powered Locomotives ever built. Very interesting to see also Henry Ford's kitchen bench engine, that's how it all started. There is so much to see in this museum not just cars. You can spend a whole day here enjoying yourself. I highly recommend a visit to this museum.

My visit to the museum was a great experience. The highlight for me was the impressive selection of cars, including those used by presidents. The exhibit showcased a diverse range of vehicles, adding a unique and fascinating dimension to the visit. The overall atmosphere and variety made it a memorable exploration into history culture.

I’ll definitely recommend to visit this museum in Detroit. It’s so huge and you can find here a lot of different things. History of United States. Progress of different directions such as railways, cars, planes, different manual productions. They also recommend factory tour and if you get museum and factory you’ll get discount. We didn’t have enough time and went through museum only. We got tickets in the spot and were not actually even planning to go there and it was Friday so I believe you can have tickets at the door any time. Enjoy and bring your kids there are a lot of interactive elements.

So much to do, so much to see. I spent about 3 hours here and still could go for many more.
It's not just about Ford history itself but about the broader history of the world.
A great variety of cars on display and other exhibits are worth the time and money to spend on it.
I also took a short 30 minute free tour and it was great.

This was perhaps the best place that I've visited in a long time!! It was like a kid let loose in a candy shop. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The history behind every piece in that museum is insane, the lady at the front greeting once we entered the actual part of the museum was really really good. She gave a brief on what to expect and where. This place will take a full day to tour if you want to look and read everything. Maybe two. I would definitely visit this place again. Definitely recommended for every single age.

Incredible the history of Ford! It's a huge museum with lots to see. We didn't see everything as I think it would take a few days.
The old locomotives were a highlight for me, as well as the cars. The presidential cars was very cool to see.
I'm not a huge fan of racing but I have to admit it was very interesting yo learn about racers as athletes and seeing some powerful racing cars over the years.
Another highlight was the mathematics, airplanes, and furnishings. The doll houses were incredibly beautiful and detailed.
The Walt Disney costumes were also very cool to see up close. If you love fabric and costumes, I highly recommend to see the exhibit. It is only for a short while though.
The food was good, some variety of sandwiches, snack food and entree meal. The ladies who work there were wonderful, very funny, and very helpful. I really enjoyed the experience and hope to go back to see what I missed!

You can easily spend the whole day here if you’re into museums. There are two nice cafes inside so you can take a break if you want. The exhibits are well maintained, but the entry fee was expensive compared to other places similar to this museum.

I shared a couple pictures of my highlights of this trip. It's a pretty nice place to visit. They are lacking some restaurants or places to get some real food. I visited here about 50 years ago when I was a kid and we went to a nice Italian restaurant and had spaghetti dinner. That appears to be missing in the museum now. Their displays are awesome with a lot of history of our area and Past Times. I recommend it!

This was a really awesome place to spend the day with the family. We loved looking around at all the cars, planes, and machinery this place has on display. So much to see and do while being here; especially when you get to the race cars. We all had so much fun; kids and adults alike.
I recommend buying your tickets online in advance. It was quite easy to do and saved us time once we arrived at the museum.
We will need to come back to see the rest of the things we didn't get to spend as much time with.

Kids had fun! We ran into a volunteer who was on break but very cheerful and conversational. It was cool to see the museum sections.... we were there for about 3 hours and only saw 2/3s of the exhibits (at kid speed). You could spend multiple days here. We got a tip to bring lunch, so didn't eat at any of the places there. Kids favorite things were the pit stop crew hands on activity, going inside the locomotive, and seeing the barnstormer planes. Adults found the JFK limo more significant than the littles.

So much to see in the museum. It will take you half a day to read through everything and walk through all the exhibit. Even a quick walk through needs about 3 hours.
You learn so much on automotive, manufacturing, American history and culture, aerospace and Glass !
Love all the massive locomotive engines and massive power generator. They are just massive and beautiful. Train museum is usually outside but it was nice that Henry Ford manage to put these massive engines indoor
It is a must go stop if you are in town

An excellent museum with interesting exhibits for everyone. Far from "just a car museum," it has exhibits focused on aviation, the industrial revolution, the civil rights movement, trains, and lots more.
My only regret is that we only scheduled one day to visit the museum and the Greenfield Village, whereas two days would have been the minimum in retrospect.

Beautiful time had by all. Incredible collection allowing a walk through history. The staff had interesting information and stories to share about the period and life of those during that time. We have a membership. I would suggest a day for Henry Ford Museum and a day for Greenfield Village if you're not from this area. After that, you can choose if you need additional visits.

This is certainly the go-to museum in Detroit. It showcases American innovations and progress over the century, not just car-focused. You could spend at least 2 hours in the museum alone. There’s a rotating exhibit space that brings new things in to keep it fresh for returning visitors.
There’s plenty to see and do, with sections on agriculture, furniture and housing, car racing, automobile production, aviation, locomotives, and more.
The village portion of the grounds can add about 5 hours to your visit so come prepared!

There was also a really cute miniature car set displayed, and a place where you could play a car simulator! It was a very pleasant experience :> Next time I visit MI, I will visit the factory too!○☆•°

Spectacular! You need a full day to enjoy and bring your jacket after Oct 31st!! The train usually closes at the end of October, but the Model T drive around the village is worth the money. They also have a bus, that's a great way to hear about the village. They have a horse-drawn carriage as well!!
The factory tour is fantastic, with limited photography options, but it is well worth it.
The museum is vast, and if you live here, that year pass is the way to go! Visitors take advantage of the different passes according to ride availability. You almost can't get through the museum and village unless you plan for the whole day!! A must-see for sure!

You could literally spend days here. It’s so unique and one of a kind. I came here every weekend as a kid in the 80s and it’s fascinating to see what is still here and what has changed.
Even if you could care less about cars or trains or planes this place positions them in a way that integrates them into the progression of life in America and the impact that cars (good and bad) and the social and historical context surrounding that impact.
I took my teenagers and thought they would be begging to leave but I had to drag them out at closing time.
Just go.

We also went because there was a Paw Patrol exhibit that he is very into at the moment. He had a great time exploring the activities within the area. I would say he enjoyed the time, but some of the stuff he was too young to know why it was there or the history about it.

Did not expect an all round museum here! I thought it was a Ford cars showcase but here is a full innovative museum containing not just fancy cars but the history and evolution of automobile! The presidential cars is surely a highlight here, but there are more to explore! Price is 30 dollars per adult and 9 for parking. Be aware the google navigation is not the most accurate location for the ticket office and entrance. Go straight to the clock tower!

The wife and I had an great time during our time in the museum. A very massive museum. It would take someone at least three days if you stopped to read every placqured that would be there on every piece of equipment. Really enjoyed the history era about everyday life and the items that was used from the 1900' to 2020. The era took me back to my days of being a kid and re-visiting that era of 1980. Again its a very informative museum.

The staff were gracious and accommodating, making guests feel welcome even during stormy conditions. The food was praised, particularly the brussel sprout dish and chicken pot pie.

The establishment itself is lovely, with a beautiful patio, some of it covered.
The service and food, on the other hand left quite a bit to be desired.
The flatbread was overly salty, and the special, which the server, pointed to another sandwich on the menu, and said "it's kind of like that, but with chicken", was mediocre. This experience was probably one of the least impressive I have come across in a long while.
We were the only table inside, as it was warm and lots of bees (allergy) outdoors. After being ignored for 5 minutes, we were tossed our menus without any specials being told to us. After our drink order, we said we would appreciate time to chat before placing our food order. After our meal, she remarked, "have you had enough time to talk?"
I am usually not one to complain, and I understand everyone may have a bad day, but when a group of four came in, with all the tables available, they sat them right behind us and the same server was just as inhospitable to them.

Attened open air weekend on a Sunday. Wonderful atmosphere. My kids played the games and had fun with the attendants. Enjoyed a glass of wine at one of the restaurants however they closed at 6. I thought for long weekend they may have extended hours. But overall nice evening out!

The park is bustling with visitors in the evenings and on weekends and holidays. It's can be a beautiful and peaceful spot to watch the ships or sit and read. The River Lights get more entertaining each year, and they are drawing increasing numbers of visitors to town. It's proximity to local restaurants and small businesses makes it ideal for a stroll.
This is a great place to walk and run, especially with dogs!

My husband and I spent quite a few happy hours in this park last week. We had come to Amherstburg for a week and every day walked in the park, both during the day, early evening and after dinner. It is a completely smoke-free Park with multiple paved walking trails through it
There are quite a few historical plaques about the former naval yard and the War of 1812; as well as a beautiful Monument.
There are two gardens there, one is a rhododendron garden and the other a hosta garden with at least 50 varieties of Hosta.
It is very well lit for a nighttime stroll, has quite a few park benches and sports a westbound view of Boblo Island and some spectacular sunsets.
Teri Nelson — Google review
Nice park with some historic view and river front. Good restaurants and ice cream place around. Must visit in summer and fall. Crowded during weekend and may need to park far but its worth it.

Small but wonderful downtown waterfront park. Great place to wander, sip coffee and relax. There is a free public lot plus parking in town just steps away. Grab a snack from any of the local shops (e.g., Caffeine & Co.) to bring along. Plenty of park benches to enjoy the views, people watching, or just getting some sun.
F Rogers (Ketolomics Reviews) — Google review
In the summer, grab some ice cream at the nearby ice cream shop, and take a nice walk in the park. Lots of shade, or sun with ample seating. Watch boats, sunsets, whatever you like here. In the winter, the light fest is nice to go thru. It's a nice little park locals know all too well.

It's a lovely place for a stroll through beautiful pathways of well kept gardens
They have lots of parking nearby

Navy yard park is great place to visit year around. The town has numerous events scheduled throughout the year. One of the most popular events is the River Light Winter Festival.Experience a stunning display of Christmas lights, illuminated trees and decorations throughout the park.

Great waterfront location to spend the afternoon at, or to just sit back and watch the ships go by. Also great location for the winter with the River Lights Festival .

Great park for a stroll or picnic along the water. And learn a little history along the way. Breathe some fresh air and watch the boats. I always visit this park when in town.

Beautiful park, pet friendly, nice and clean great view

Awesome park by the riverfront dedicated to the Navy; there's plenty of smalls memorials and plaques, small trails within the yard. It's really well maintained, many benches, flowers, shrubs.

Navy Yard Park is a beautiful, well-kept place. It is a great place to go for a walk and get something to eat at the many restaurants nearby.
James Malone — Google review
This is a great park right on the water. I remember coming her as a kid and walking around. The town has definitely maximized the usage of the park with all kinds of events throughout the year. In the winter they have the Christmas lights and in the rest of the seasons they have other events. There is a ton of history here and you can see the old canons and remains of the old buildings.
There are plenty of different restaurants, ice cream shops and coffee places within walking distance of the park. If you are in the area make sure to visit this park.
We absolutely love their red wines. Their tastings are great & the view is magnificent. They often have sales by the bottle & by the case. They also offer delivery to your door throughout Essex County for a min order of $180. We will continue to support this local winery. Well worth the trip to check it out for yourself.

Great spot - the view of lake Erie is impressive! Music was nice, food delicious, warm and fresh. I'm proud that wine like this, is produced in Essex County. Atmosphere is upscale. Good job guys! 👍 👍 👍

The name says it all. The setting here is absolutely perfect. Beautiful views of the lake set the atmosphere and the tasting room has 270 degree viewing. The staff was friendly and attentive. The wines have a "young" flavor and minimal complexity but are appropriately priced for thier value.

I spent Sunday lunchtime with friends at Viewpointe. We ordered our food and drinks ( the selection of food wasn’t great - and the method of ordering was totally frustrating) we were each given a buzzer to go and collect our food when ready. Our friends buzzer went and they collected their food - ours didn’t when our fronds had almost finished our food (we were still waiting to be buzzed) our friends looked at our buzzer number and said hey I am sure I saw that number when we collected ours - I went and looked and sure enough there was our food … it had been sitting outside on this hot day for a while. I wanted fresh food - not prepared to eat this when it had been sitting for so long. Trying to find someone to help me was impossible - I asked the girl at the cash desk “she was too busy l and said I had to wait . I went into the store the lady in their said she don’t know what to do and did not know where the manager was . I asked on the kitchen they were not prepared to help either. WHAT A WAY TO KILL A LUNCH WITH GOOD FRIENDS. Eventually I found someone who said they were a manger and she arranged for my food to be changed and would let me k ow when it was ready. No real apology just “well we are busy” - honestly not wasn’t really busy at all. The food came - it was mediocre at best and served in their “speciality” take out containers . We left after eating . All four of us vowing not to use this winery again… there are plenty of others to choose from. I have one star because the view is lovely. Knocked off stars for the service ( there was not any) the food (blah)the ambience and the take out containers. On a plus. It’s we hot Dairy Queen after .. great ice cream service and seating .
If you are reading this because you want ab honest review I would say”GIVE VEWPOINTE A MISS”

It's a great location. If you're doing a wine tour of the local wineries, start here. The wine is similar, the people are very friendly and the location is very nice on the shore, However, the facility seems like they spent a lot of money and then stopped on the landscaping and other furnishings, so it feels "unfinished."
Definitely put this place on your tour.
Ron Reed — Google review
Worst service I’ve ever witnessed. Arrived with a group for a wine tour at 4pm scheduled to stay for a quick drink before heading to the next location. Upon arrival the blonde server treated us with the most degrading disrespect I’ve ever experienced. While getting settled in and talking amongst ourselves she abruptly whistled to get our attention and proceeded to yell at us with a condescending tone while explaining the details on how to order drinks. Not only did she speak to us poorly, they were already closing down the winery rushing us with an hour until close. As a group of many who work in the service industry we were shocked at the way the situation was handled and decided to leave to the next winery which was a much more positive experience.

Viewpoint winery
We went to this winery as a suggestion due to the views-and they did not disappoint. It has a beautiful outdoor seating area overlooking the water.
You start by going inside to order your wine/drink and then go back around to get outside. You are able to pick your own flight of 4 wines. We tried surf side white, Riesling vqa, big bluff red vqa, and Colchester. The wines we tried were decent enough, and we did buy the Reisling VQA. Worth a stop for the views alone!
Dominick Bruno — Google review
We were offered to try the new online ordering system upon entering. The lady didn't explain it at all beyond scanning the barcode and was very rude when I didn't fully understand it immediately. After ordering online, I still had to show and tell the servers what I ordered which took easily twice as long as ordering face-to-face normally and we still had to go to the front to pick up our plastic box of mediocre cheese, crackers and stale bread. It's a lot cheaper than other wineries in the area, but it is really worth paying more for a better experience. Not to mention the view is nice but overrated as the grounds and surrounding area are very barren, really taking away from a nice waterfront space.

Great view had a bottle of merlot .Wife had bottle of white.Very nice lady that greeted us.Cold an windy dogs loved it very cool drinking wine by the lake.Very nice view form resturant also.see u soon Thank u nice lady i wiil ask her name next time.
Dave Hib — Google review
Take my review with a grain of salt as the low score might be a one off experience, but my group didnt find any of the wines to be good at all. Perhaps all of our samples were off, but my group of 4 all chose different wines and didnt enjoy any of them.
Beyond the wine, however, the service was good and the views definitely made up for it
Kevin Hua — Google review
Okay, 5 stars? For us, a winery review comes down to 2 questions:
1. What is the team trying to achieve, and 2. How close are they?
Viewpoint exemplifies the "judge them by their own goals" grading philosophy.
They are shooting at four targets, and hitting all four.
1. Produce novel, affordable, easy drinking wines. Their "Old 18A" rosé is the exemplar here, a big dry rosé that laughs "summertime!" whenever you open a bottle.
2. Produce competitive, affordable, mid-level wines. The Cabernet Franc, a stalwart of southern Ontario, punches in right on target here. A big, tasty red with reasonably balanced tannins (oak tannin plus cluster tannin) that can be enjoyed today or cellared for 6 or 8 years with confident development.
3. Library releases to show off cellaring potential. Sure, a winery can suggest holding a vintage for x number of years, but how certain can you be? Library releases put the truth on the table. Viewpoint's recent release of 2012's proves the point: their best vintages are worth waiting for in your cellar.
4. Crowd-pleasing food and entertainment. Ok, here's where I get off the bus. But that's because my tastes run far wide of "popular" food (I'm looking at you, fried-food lovers) and "popular" entertainment (I'm looking at you, Baby Boomers). But look, just because those things aren't my thing doesn't take away from the fact that Viewpoint delivers EXACTLY what they are setting out to achieve: popular food, on the patio, by the lake, with live music the clientele enjoys. How can I downrate that?
Viewpoint offers a full range of quality wines at reasonable prices that you can take home, have delivered, or enjoy on the patio or down by the lake, with views that don't stop. Judging them by THEIR goals? 5 stars. Check them out.
Easy drive from Detroit, London, or Toronto.
Friendly staff.
Comfortable seating indoors and out.
Easy parking.
Groups welcome.
Tours welcome.

Very impressed with this friendly, clean and attractive facility. This was our second time at Viewpoint and both times we had a great fun, excellent food and drinks and superb atmosphere while enjoying the live music. Excellent place!
Steve B — Google review
Very disappointed, no service at all, nice place but terrible food. No service. What a difference from last time we came a few years ago when there was table service. Plastic glass for wine. Self service. Will never come back. What a waste.
Melida Renkwitz — Google review
One thing that Viewpointe has over all the other wineries is their view - you can't get closer to Lake Erie! I enjoy a sweet wine and although they have a lot of options, none are to my taste. They have a couple varieties of Reisling though which I was happy to see. As many have mentioned before me, I found them to be underserviced and unorganized during my visit. I'll come back for the fries (reasonably priced, large portion, and so good) and maybe a frose!

Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum is a vast natural oasis consisting of sprawling gardens, woods, and prairies. This botanical garden also features a visitors center, gift shop, and conservatory which houses an impressive collection of plants. Visitors can spend hours exploring the grounds and admiring the beauty of the flora on display. The conservatory alone is worth a visit as it boasts a diverse range of plant species that captivate visitors with its natural splendor.
Such a beautiful conservatory, if I lived closer I would visit every week.
We planned to visit the Natural History Museum afterwards, but we were so captivated by this wonderful collection of plants that we lost track of time!
We spent three hours in the conservatory & I still don't feel like it was enough time. We'll be back!
I added some photos, but the photos don't do it justice. This place is a treat & everyone deserves to experience it in person!

This place was amazing. We went on a Monday and the indoor areas are closed on that day for maintenance so be aware, but the outside is huge and fully of interesting native plants and habitats. We especially loved the outdoor bonsai garden and the specimens were well cared for and impressive with at least one tree being over 800 years old it seems. They were so good they even impressed my 10yr old lol. Entrance was free but parking was up to $5 for the day. Good times we'll be back.

Ver crowded, not enough parking.
The parking machines need to be more user friendly. We had to stand in line 10 minutes just to pay.
Of course, it is a beautiful place. Not too much vegetation yet.
The trails for walking & biking are awesome!.
Can't wait for the Peonies at Nichols!

If you are in Ann Arbor and have time, come here! You won't regret it. First we walked along the nature trail and saw cardinals, blue jays, finches, squirrels and chipmunks, and deer. Just magical! Then we entered the gardens, which are equally as stunning. This property is immaculate and clearly well cared for. Such a great experience!

Really love this place! Very well kept and maintained. I've been going here for years (since 2010!) even though I don't live in the area any more. Extremely peaceful environment with beautiful grounds and a lovely conservatory. I really enjoy their trails as they have lovely water features (stream and pond). Highly recommend!

The kiddos and I needed to get out and thankfully a wonderful day was available, so we headed to the gardens. Our first trip was to the Sam Graham portion so we could participate in the leaf rubbing activity. I printed off the book from online and we took crayons for each kid (one book was enough to share for three young kids). I was worried about finding leaves but realized each station would have a plaque on a post, so no worries! We didn't get lost, which was also a plus :)
We went back a second time for the Conservatory and it was a great escape indoors even when the weather outside wasn't cooperating. The kids found a mango tree, a baby pineapple, the chocolate bean cacao and other plants that we consume produce from.
Excited to see more this summer!

Been here twice so far and I like it. Once in the spring and once in the summer. Each time it's been great to experience the different flowers of the season. Nice small botanical garden with small walking trails around the outside of the garden which can be finished in 20 minutes or less. Depends on how much you rush through. You could get through the whole botanical garden itself in about an hour or so. Nice selection of plants and nice chance to see some wildlife then strolling through the trails. Some benches are available and a couple of picnic tables as well.

Matthaei Botanical Gardens in the campus of Michigan University bursts upon you, as a pleasant sprinking of nature's bounty. I visited this place in July and flowers were in full bloom.
The Bonsai section caught my particular fancy. I just loved the tiny, yet mature, well groomed trees. The miniature pines are specially cute and lovely.
Do visit this delightful place. It is a treat for the research scholar, as well as a nature lover.

Absolutely beautiful! I was there in the winter, so not much outside. The inside was fantastic. I can't wait to come back when it warms up. I particularly loved all the desert plants. The gift shop was nice and had a lot of cool stuff.
Bryan Monaco — Google review
Made our first visit to the botanical gardens and although it was short, it was sweet. You can easily extend your trip here by taking more time to stop and smell, i mean photograph each rose so to speak. We missed out on the arboretum due to weather but plan to come back and enjoy the outdoor area when weather permits.
Will Behrick — Google review
We loved looking at all of the plants in the arboretum. Everything was well maintained and there was a variety of plants. I especially liked the cacti and the bonsai trees.
The restrooms were clean and in the store, we were able to get cold drinks and enjoy them outside while we watched several butterflies flutter by. There was plenty of parking and it was very reasonable, i believed it was $1 an hour. All of the staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

This is a cool botanical garden. We went there in early April when the weather was still a bit chilly. There was an indoor section where we spent quite sometime in, and there were plenty of exotic plants to look at. Admission to this botanical garden was free, and the staff were very friendly.

A nice place to visit if you’re interested in plants. They’ve a good collection of plants from different regions- desert to tropical. They also have a bonsai garden which is my favorite. The garden is nice for photo shoots as well as relaxing. There is no entry fee but there is a parking fee.

Great place! We loved several of the gardens and the walking trails. It's amazing that it is free to view, because that's rare these days. We spent two hours here. Be aware that there is a charge for parking in front of the conservatory, but it's only $2.20 per hour right now and simple to pay at a kiosk.
The plants in the conservatory, cactus room and bonsai plant sections are awesome. A sign for a labyrinth caught our attention in the walking trails. I'm posting a photo here. If you get lost inside, just yell loudly and someone will come to help you find your way out. 😉

Fantastic experience, as always. What a gem. I especially adored the Rooting Reciprocity exhibit, this should be a permanent display and should be scaled-up to every botanical garden with important non-native plants. This was the most impactful learning experience I have EVER had regarding botany and I have a 4-year degree in Biology with a concentration in Ecology, including an International practicum...never was I probed to think so deeply, leading with HEART, about plant sources and their impact on the local community. My kids absolutely loved it too. THANK YOU!
Amber Cabrejos — Google review
Great hidden (and free) gem of Ann Arbor! It might be 32 outside but inside it’s a tropical wonderland. There are many huge versions of what you could only hope to grow inside your own place like a fiddle leaf fig that is as big as an oak tree and a big beautiful staghorn fern that greets you immediately as you step into the warm humid paradise.
I love how most of the plants are clearly labeled.
There is a cute gift shop and the staff is super nice. They told us about the outdoor trails and an exciting new beaver damn!

Great place to go year round. The outdoor area is a great place to stroll around in the summer. The bonsai tree collection is amazing to see and I love that this place is free. Just pay small parking fee. Bring all my out of town guests here.

Beautiful indoor gardens with plants from 3 or 4 different climates around the world. Outdoors gorgeous grounds to roam around & learn about the gardens, or just sit on a bench & breathe. Trails are great, so fun hiking there. Kids love it here. They have a natural huge play areas in the Children’s Gardens. Lots of learning things for them while building log cabin, playing in sand, even dirt box & kitchenware to make all kinds of fun things. There’s so much. Little mazes in the hedges! Very cool. Take it from me, I’m a nanny & I pack lunch take 7 & 3 year old kids there a lot. They Love the place. Ages 1-99 will have a wonderful time here. Plenty of shade when it’s hot too. Oh, beautiful gift shop to bring a bit of your experience there home.💖💖💖💖💖

The conservatory/botanical gardens are beautiful! They are not huge, but are impeccably maintained and stunning. I didn't have much time to explore outside, but there are trails, gardens, and a farm. Definitely worth the trip!
Gallup Park spans across 69 acres and features various amenities such as walkways, bridges, playgrounds, picnic sites, and areas for canoeing and kayaking. It is a beloved destination for many individuals. Visitors are advised to bring enough hydration since the water can cause dehydration even on cloudy days. To avoid exhaustion or struggling against the current, it is best to paddle upstream first before enjoying the downstream ride back. The staff can provide further guidance on navigating the currents in Gallup Park.
It's a great place to visit with a variety of activities for everyone. There's a little playground for kids, plenty of trails for nature lovers, and there's even a kayak/canoe rental place. They also hold fun cultural events. It's really popular during the summer, so I recommend going early if you can. Highly recommend!

One of the best parks in the region, obtained from land from Detroit Edison Company in 1955 - is a 69-acre park and is Ann Arbor’s most popular recreation area. It is located along the Huron River and Geddes Pond with scenic walkways that traverse small islands with pedestrian bridges that form a loop.
Gallup Park is an important connector on the Border-to-Border Trail. Two drinking fountains and many benches allow the park user to take respite from their recreational activities. In 2017, the Rotary Centennial Universal Access Playground opened and offers a universally accessible play area.
Gallup Park is the down river destination for paddling trips, year around, having also heated restroom facilities, paved pathways and a bird-seeing area.

Nature’s beauty at its best! This park is lovely for a walk, bike ride, jogging or simply enjoy sunshine! I went in early December and it was such an amazing experience to soak in sun and cool weather during my walk! It is really well maintained and offers many beautiful views of the Huron river along the way. These spots are best seen from the Geddes road entrance.

One of the (if not the) best parks in the Ann Arbor area. The uploaded pictures were taken in late October (wonderful colors). There are multiple playgrounds and picknic areas (with BBQs) in the park as well. Highly recommend to go there and enjoy the nicer days in Michigan.
Steph A — Google review
Oh how I love Gallup/Argo!! 🥀 My "happy place" 😊 Remember to bring proper hydration, the water tends to dehydrate even when it doesn't seem sunny! Also, I recommend paddling against current first and going till you're almost tired, then you can basically ride the current back. Otherwise you run the risk of biting off more than you're ready to swallow, facing the current back. Ask the staff which way is which to be clear!

This is such a beautiful park located close to the heart of Ann Arbor. The numerous trails are easy going and provide a perfect place for everyone. Whether you're looking to take a nice walk, bike around, take the kids to the playground, go for a run or anything else, I'd highly recommend Gallup Park. The B2B trail is a great paved trail that provides numerous views of the Huron River. You're also likely to run into a plethora of birds, such as geese, swans, ducks, robins, and much more! This, along with a numerous amount of other animals will accompany you during your visit. Take some time out, settle your mind, and enjoy the outdoors.

Awesome park for walking/jogging/biking/fishing & etc. Lots of free parking space wraps around the park. The big loop takes about 1-1.5 hours to complete depending on how fast you walk. There are benches throughout the park for breaks. Lots of people bring their dogs and kids to this park; it gets crowded on weekends when the weather is nice!

Visited towards the end of winter ❄️ and it was such a beautiful place. Recommend to visit during the evening around 5.30pm to catch the swans 🦢 and geese. A great place for kids and adults too. Just sitting and observing the birds and the river makes time move so slow. The birds and squirrels 🐿️ are so friendly too.
Great views of both sides of the Huron river and there’s a walking trail loop that brings you back to the car park in about 1 mile.
A must visit place to spend quiet time and family time ❤️😍

Seamless process for renting a kayak or double. Rent at Gallup and they can shuttle you to Argo or Barton for a downriver float back. Best way to spend a few hours on a nice day. You will get a bit wet as the sit on top kayaks are "self bailing" (meaning they have holes for water to run through, two of those holes are right underneath your bum). Kayaks are quite stable and hard to tip unless you do sometjing dumb through the fun little (engineered) rapids below Argo. Friendly, helpful staff. I do this trip whenever I come back to visit family.

A great place to visit any time of year. Lots of variety and a great paved looping trail that goes on both sides of the Huron River. Further along there is a boardwalk through the woods and dirt trails in a wooded and marshy area that can be muddy. A fun kids playground and different sculptures around the park. Good parking in different areas depending on where you want to start.
Lake Erie's only state park offers 1 mile of lakeshore with campsites plus wildlife walks & hiking.
Don't let the smoke stacks cloud your judgment of this park. It has so much to offer!
Miles of scenic trails for birdwatching, running, walking and biking. The trails I hear will be getting some much needed work to ensure a safe and smooth trek.
There are many fishing piers and access points to kayak the waters in and around the park.
For Boat Nerds, you can watch great lake freighters out on the horizon. If you're lucky, you may see them pulling into the River Raisin just south of the park.
The sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous and beautiful and the pops of color are amazing.
If I have on complaint, it's the human factor on the Beach. Please don't litter. There are many garbage receptacles. We can do better.

We stayed here in our skoolie for two weeks and it's been one of our best stays to date! First off, the beach!! You're so close and there's a private area just for the campground which was never busy and was close enough that the kids could just walk over there whenever they wanted.
There's also a trail that was really nice. Clean bathrooms and showers. Can't wait to go back here

This state campground has some full hook up sites. Campground is clean and the camp host was receptive when we told here there was standing water by our water spigot possibly indicating a leak. It’s nice to be able to explore the beach on Lake Erie but wear your shoes as there are dead fish, shells, branches, and garbage. There is a paved, 4 mile trail which circles some lagoons.
Kristin R — Google review
The park is spacious, plenty of area to explore. Large parking area. Plenty of bathrooms. Pavilions with picnic tables and grill areas. Large beach front, great for swimming and a peir I saw people fishing off of although it's a bit rocky on that end, much more rugged, not for small kids.
I was thrilled to find some neat fish bones, shells and beach glass and a little baby turtle!

Wow, what a hidden gem! This state park is truly a treasure. And, of course, no visit to this park is complete without a visit to the legendary Pee Log. This iconic log has become a beloved landmark for both tourists and locals alike, and it's easy to see why. It's the perfect spot to take a quick break and leave your mark (literally!). Overall, I highly recommend this state park to anyone looking to connect with nature and experience something truly special.

Not the biggest beach, but there is plenty of parking and a big swimming area. Ample grills to cook if you want to make a day of it. There is also a fishing area, boat launch, campground and trails, if you enjoy any of those activities. If you are in the area and want to get back to nature, definitely give it a shot.

Love this place that's all there is to it. The campground side is amazing. The beach there is beautiful. Shallow so less fear and more fun for kids to think they're cool going far out lol. I wish boats and jet skis had a restriction on coming to the beach and anchoring. It's not safe. It's annoying.... Or maybe designated area they can tie off vs just riding up into everyone and everything

I don't know what these negative reviews are talking about! This beach is one of the nicest public beaches on Lake Erie in this area. The beach was trash free and looked like they has just raked the sand. It does have some trees a long the north end of the beach that hAve exposed roots. Just watch were you step and you will be fine. The exposed roots are neat to see. You can get around them and enjoy the beach. The south end of the beAch area however is all sand. When we were there it didn't smell of rotting fish and we didn't see any either. We loved this beach. The camping area did look nice as well and they have several cabins for rent.

Easy sites to back in. Not much shade in much of the park, but ground cover helps to keep the sites private. Left 4 stars because other people just lack respect. On our last evening, we had a group set up in the site next to us with 4 vehicles who then had the audacity to set up a tent on our site. Not totally the parks fault, but rangers should have addressed the problem. However, they just drove on by.. (maybe because they didn't want to have an altercation)
National park preserving the historical site of pivotal battles during the War of 1812.
River Raisin is for those who love history. This is the site of the worst American defeat in the War of 1812, and of the bloodiest battle in Michigan's history. There is a new visitor center just west of the battlefield with new exhibits being built. If you live in southeastern Michigan and you have kids, this would be a great place to take them to get to know the National Park Service. The visitor center has passport books, patches, books about national parks, nature guides, and everything else needed to generate a child's enthusiasm for our nation's protected lands.

The park facility is relatively new and quite impressive. There is a very well done 25 minute movie on the earlier events and battles at River Raisin. There are several displays at the Visitor center, huge diorama of Frenchtown , and a gift shop. There are paths outside to tour the battlefield with historical markers. Overall gained a great understanding and appreciation of what happened here and overall northwest frontier. Need to mention that the ranger at the Visitors Center - Tony - was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable.

Had the pleasure of getting a tour and see some behind the scenes things going on at the RRNBP! They have done an amazing job with this place: floor map, exhibits, theater, interactive things for kids, authentic displays and more! Definitely recommend! Great gem for the City of Monroe! P.S ace throwing only available for businesses, but they are working on making it available to public

I am really looking forward to the things to come at this National Battlefield Historic Site. The Park Ranger was extremely informative and did a great job with the kids and their Junior Ranger Program. The movie was worth the 10.00 for 4+ in a family. We enjoyed learning about the War of 1812. Beautiful diorama. When the village is complete it will be amazing.

One of the newest parks in the Park Service. They are working hard to create a state of the art facility. When the educational center is up and running it will be a fantastic field trip for schools and other groups looking for a hands on experience.

In my quest to visit all the National Parks (historic sites, battlefields, trails, and more) I happened upon River Raisin on a quite rainy and chilly afternoon. While being the only visitor when I arrived, the park staff were very helpful and willing to ensure my experience was a great one. They cued up a video (another group wandered in by this time) to cover the history.
Afterward, I still felt like exploring the area, despite the rain, and I was given a few paper maps that I supplemented with the free NPS app (which I highly recommend you download). This pointed me towards some cool historic sites also maintained by the NPS and offered me a glimpse into the past of the historical events that took place in this area.

The park stretches out along the Raisin River. They have an older closed visitor center and a new one not far away. Great place to reflect and relax. Some picnic tables and some really nice benches to rest on

We were really impressed by the set up. Very informative, they were just setting up the new exhibit when we were there, but it was really nice so far, so many interactive things for all ages, my 20 year old son just loved it. The people there were great too, answering questions and explaining displays. Nice gift shop with reasonable prices, a few snacks and drinks too...and a squished penny machine!! I collect, so super excited about that. Clean bathrooms. We happened to go when they were having demonstrations outside with people dressed in period clothes and very friendly and informative. They had axe throwing, my son did much better than myself. All free too! Large parking lot. easy to find right off the highway. Our family had a great time and will definitely be back for the reenactments and to walk the battlefield, I understand there is a marked trail with information plaques but we didn't get a chance to check that out yet.

Really nice national park battlefield with a great trail to walk around on. I recommend going down the main Street stretch of Monroe to get the whole tour of the battle of River Raisin! Staff was helpful and friendly as well!

Nice museum at the visiter center with film. A lot of plaques describing a battle of the war of 1812. Describes a massacre of the Indians libing in the area.

Wasn't sure what to expect. Knew a little about the battle and War of 1812 before we went but learned a lot while there. This battle played a large role in the war and the United States native American policies for years to come. It's extremely interesting. The free movie explains the battle and its aftermath. I say free because you used to have to pay, but now it is being funded by the Oklahoma Wyandotte. Museum is well put together with many interactive displays and many more to come. Definately worth a visit. Besides the museum, you can also walk the grounds where the battle toook place and read several markers explains what happened. Will go back, hopefully, in January or February when the reenactment takes place.

They've done an amazing job with this place - I haven't been in a LONG time, not since a school field trip maybe 20 years ago. The new visitor center is stunning and the movie that they show about the history of the site and the area is INCREDIBLE. The staff were all super friendly and fun to talk to.

This is a small but interesting stop on the NPS book. They have clean restrooms and are even dog friendly.
Not far off the interstate so I would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We just spent 3 terrific days with Capt. Robert out of Port Clinton, OH and had a terrific time. Early fall is not known to be great fishing but we did very well. Capt. Robert was more than willing to move around the lake when the fishing was slow. On the last day our group of six came in at close to limit! Sea Breeze Charters and Capt. Robert will definitely see us again! 😁

We went out on a charter with your service on 09/17/2023 with Captain Ben Genzman. We had a great time and Captain Ben was so knowledgeable about the lake and the fishing. I will definitely be back and will highly recommend Captain Ben to anyone who wants to catch fish and have a great trip!

I can’t recommend this company enough they were outstanding! Captain Jerry went above and beyond to make sure that we were on fish. His boat was clean and well organized and he treated us like kings. If you are looking for a great walleye fishing experience you will want to definitely book with these guys

I highly recommend Sea Breeze Charters. We fished two days with Captain Cody, he was terrific. He was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun to fish with. Our accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The owner, Bob, kept in constant communication and all of our arrangements were perfect. It was a great weekend with perfect weather. Thanks Bob & Cody.

We had a great two days on Lake Erie with Sea Breeze Charters. We had Captains Ron and Barry. The first day was pretty slow when we were drifting and casting, but they switched it up with trolling the next day. Lots more success the second day. I'd highly recommend Sea Breeze Charters.

Amazing place to bird watch!! We went the day after the biggest week was over and was expecting the place to be packed, but it was actually quite nice with a lot of devoted birders there who were very helpful and identifying bird species if you weren't sure what they were. Can't wait to go back!.

This has a beautiful boardwalk going through the marsh, right next to Lake Erie. So many beautiful birds to look at, especially during migration season. Really spectacular!
The visitor center is very nice. Right next door is also the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge.

This is a wildlife reserve. Mostly for birds, if you like walking there are boarded walkways. You can see the lake, stand on the Sandy Beach type area beside the lake, but it is no longer a swimming beach. There are clean. Porta potties available. As of October 2022, the education center is closed for renovation. There is a wildlife ranger station.

The new visitor center is really great. I would recommend checking it out if you enjoy learning about our native wildlife. There is also a nice beach to view the lake from and a fun drive back with lots of bird viewing.

The hour or so I spent here before our trip home was just amazing!!! We saw a family of Swans, mother, father, and about 6 babies!!! Red winged black birds. Heron birds. This was also the first time I saw a real Marsh area!!! So much wildlife here! And a PERFECT place for bird watchers!!! There are Bald American Eagles here. There were warning signs to stay clear of their nests! I was in Awe of this beautiful part of Ohio. And, its in my state!!! This place is great for families with children and it had wheelchair parking to get on the beach to Spectacular views of Lake Erie. We will definitely be back. It was clean and not at all crowded.

Seems like a nice little park, the boardwalk could've used some summer maintenance to trim back the overgrowth. Heard it's a great place during migration so I'll have to go back.

The boardwalks are the best location in the Great lakes region for spring warbler viewing. The boardwalks are in good condition but can be crowded during peak times. The parking lot near the boardwalk can be slow and crowded

Stop here to walk the bird trail & see the beach. The area to the beach was overgrown quite a bit, but there were some open walkways to get to the beach without walking through weed. The beach itself is not meant to be swam at. There was quite a bit of garbage & dead fish all over the beach. We ended up just walking the beach, collecting shells, and just enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. There was an eagle nest in the trees right in front of the parking area. Ran out of time to walk the trail but plan to come back & do that next time.

Beautiful and peaceful little place. I didn't even walk the whole thing but from what I did it was incredible. Lots of wildlife turtles, egrets, swans and cranes. Carp in the waterlily retention pond. Tons of birds and varieties. Saw quite a few blue winged warblers, bald eagles and cardinals. Nice areas to fish, picnic, and just find a tree to hang under. The marsh has such a peaceful symphony to enjoy! Great way to spend a day or afternoon. And there are plenty more nature stops to enjoy in the area as to enjoy!
Courtney Bookman — Google review
It is very easy to find. The Marsh has a spectacular diversity of birds and birdwatchers in early May. On May 11, I've counted cars' license plates from 27 different states (including Alaska and California) in their parking lots + one from Ontario, Canada. On the boardwalk, besides the English language, I heard Spanish, German, and Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish people speak that). On that day, I made 13,953 steps (5.47 miles). In one day, I've found 68 different bird species, including 17 different warblers. This place is a must-see for any serious birder. It was very crowded in the morning on the boardwalks, but after 3 PM, there was much more free space there. I loved everything about Magee Marsh and will visit it again.

Brilliant birding, even though it was very crowded? Don't forget your camera as the wildlife is very obliging. Only a slight complaint, nowhere to get any refreshments, we had to travel to the Ottawa reserve for food and drink, although this area has many facilities and many birding opportunities.

This museum explores the history of the five Great Lakes and features a retired ore freighter. It is located on the east bank of the Maumee River in downtown Toledo.
This is a excellent museum with great information and displays. For someone visiting the Great Lakes for the first time, this was a great primer and perfect for a few hours. The models of historical ships, boiler steam propulsion and Coast Guard history were all highlights.

Excellent museum for adults and kids alike. The ship was so fun for walk around on and IN. You can actually go inside the cargo hold!
We had to rush through the museum, as we cam late in the day, but it was pretty cool. Definitely worth a trip back. They are updating a park next to the museum, so summer '23 should be a great time to visit. Then goto Maumee Bay brewery for lunch 😁

I’ve lived in Ohio my entire life and I knew very little about our Great Lakes! What a fabulous museum! The history and displays and everything about this place is incredible! We didn’t plan properly and couldn’t go on the freighter or tug boat, so that just gives us just cause to go back!!! Definitely worth the reasonable ticket price! Fun little souvenir area as well. Very clean museum, lots of parking, bathrooms very well maintained and the grounds are very well kept! Fun for all ages!!

The interactive displays were engaging and fun for kids of all ages. Some of the displays left me wanting more backstory and the intro video, although beautifully presented, could be so much more. I look forward to returning in the summer to tour the Schoomacher.

Didn't think this would be interesting, but went with a friend who wanted to go. Jack, the volunteer who showed us around the freighter, made the trip extremely informative. He had worked on the tug boat that is also on display, and had an infinite number of personal and anecdotal stories about the freighter, tug boat, and Great Lakes shipping history. Worth calling ahead to see which day he is volunteering!
Jan Smith — Google review
Great find on a road trip. The ship was very cool to visit with my kids (4, 6, 9); however was quite nerve wracking with the 4 year old ensuring he didn’t fall through railings on top or on the steep stairs. There is a self guided tour app that was too slow for going with kids but we enjoyed the signs along the way. The ship itself took us about 45 minutes so we didn’t have time to do the tug boat because new tours stop an hour before closing and we started the ship at 3:45. There is also a lot to look at in the museum. And hour and a half wasn’t enough time!
Stephanie H — Google review
The museum is full of interesting facts about all the Great Lake. Artifacts and story boards of numerous ships and shipwrecks are a look back in time. We liked the interactive displays, which included controlling a video drive on the Edmond Fitzgerald. It takes an hour or two to checkout all the displays. The outdoor ship tours are seasonal. We visited in December but will plan a return trip to check out the freighter.

Really neat place! This is something in my own hometown that I had never experienced before. Such a unique spot to be taken. The museum had lots of interesting bits of history and getting to go on the actual boats was so awesome. Probably not a place for huge parties or small kids because it’s a lot of historical things and small areas inside. The stairs are also a little bit difficult to maneuver but seeing how old everything is I definitely understand why. Everyone should visit here at least once in their life.

Loved it! You can spend hours going through and reading each and every little.tad bit of info. As a marine mechanic, I was always curious as to what was inside the building. Unfortunately, we went too early in the season, and the on-board tours were not available yet. We will be back to see them!

I enjoyed it. The stories this museum presents are fascinating and special history to the local area. I love that they support and exist to restore the great lakes and tell our areas history from Indian and native tribes to colonial days up to modern history. It's wild how deadly the great lakes were and i never heard of all the crashed boats until this museum. Touring the boats they have on site is also neat. My cons are I wish it was much bigger (I think they're expanding a little) and the gift shop wasn't so expensive.

Wonderful museum! The highlight being the freighter docked alongside that is included with museum admission. Such a treat to wander all over the ship! The best experience was encountering former ship pilots who offered personal stories and insights on what it was like to work on these Great Lakes freighters!

It is a very informative museum, lots of displays, and a plus is the tug and freighter to tour!! As a sailor, diver, and a lifetime on Lake Erie, I really enjoyed my visit! A bonus was that one of the freighter guides was a tug crewman!

We visited this museum for the second time and it was just as good as the first. Good amount of history about the great lakes. Lots of nice artifacts to look at. There are 2 ships that you can tour docked along the Maumee River next to the museum. A freighter and a tug. Both are interesting. Staff was very friendly and the facility was clean. If you enjoy history especially of the lakes then you should enjoy. Highly recommend 👍

The Imagination Station is a hands-on, educational children's science museum with permanent exhibits that offers programs and summer camps. It is located in the center of Toledo and contains over 300 interactive exhibits on a range of topics including agriculture, engineering, solar energy, sound waves, weather systems. A popular attraction for locals and tourists alike, it is one of the most acclaimed museums in the city.
We had so much fun when we took our kids and nephew to Imagination Station. I am so pleased that they have the option to purchase a membership because that is exactly what we are going to do. They even had a quiet room in the children’a area if anyone was overstimulated and needed a break. There is food, beverages, a gift shop, indoor & outdoor activities so much to do indoors and even a beautiful view from the inside out. Fun for all ages! :)

The former COSI, with a new name, same great experience.
Super fun experience. Lots of exhibits. Clean. Staff is friendly. Parking is easy on the street and the garage across the street. Not overly crowded on a Sunday.
Only improvements I’d suggest: military vet discounts and some attention to restroom cleanliness.
Great way to spend a day. The fun exhibits could easily occupy kids 2-teen for 3-5 hours. The motion simulator is a nice addition. Don’t skip the outdoor sound exhibits.

Lots of fun and science stuff to do with the kids. Can easily spend 3-4 hours depending on the experiences you want to cover. Wasn’t crowded even though we visited on a weekend. 🤣 Seriously, it was a great experience.
We went on a Saturday, so it was a little more crowded than normal. But, on the bright side of that, Saturdays are the cheaper days to go for Lucas county residents. I also suggest that you park in the parking garage. It's decently priced.
There's a lot of things to see and do both inside and outside. I could go on and on but I'm sure you get the gist.

It was my first time visiting with my son. He is 8 years old and loved it. There was more than enough things to keep him entertained the entire day. I wasn't sure if it was meant for younger kids only. The admission prices were pretty reasonable, and they did offer a military discount, which really helped me out. It's worth it to get the whole package with the movie included. My son had never seen anything in 3D before so he loved the 3D dinosaurs. They had very friendly staff all around to guide and interact with the kids. There is a little cafe in there in case you get hungry and need a break. The only disappointment was that we never got to check out the simulator because the line was Neverending during the time we were waiting. But overall, I would definitely take my son back next time I'm in the area.

I haven’t visited this place in many years. There were a lot of cool stations that engage the kiddos in learning about the world around them ans how things work. My only recommendation would be to pack some snacks. The food choices were slim. Not sure if the pandemic and supply shortages is to blame for that or not?

This place was incredible. My 4 year old and 2 year old had a blast! They had things to keep both of them busy. They have a toddler area where they can play hospital, grocery store, and firetruck. When I tell my kids we are going to the imagination station, I may as well have told them we're celebrating Christmas early. Their favorite attraction in the museum is the sideways house, and as toddlers they could have spent the entire visit in the Kids Zone. My only complaint is that there seems to be a field trip visiting every time we come and the place is packed with kids and it makes it a little harder to enjoy yourself.

I am a 19 year old and I went with my friends who are all over 18 and it was super fun and interesting. We spent about 4 hours here. This museum is honestly one of the most fun I've been to. It's good for little kids (they have a toddler/baby section), kids, and adults. The movies are also quite good.

We come here about once a month. The kids love it. As far as educating my five year olds, I'd say it's mild. The live shows are the best for that and those are fantastic. But for providing reasonably priced play that is certainly positive and MAY be educational, it's the best.
As a hint, Lucas County residents get in free on Saturdays.

We love this Toledo attraction! A fun way to spend a day or treat your family to a season pass for an outing option. I love that there is something for all ages, babies on up! We like to get food somewhere downtown before or after and on the nice days go walk the river front. Street parking is awesome when you can find it, if not using the garage. Make sure to make time for the plane simulator.
The Toledo Museum of Art is an art museum located in the historic Old West End district of central Toledo, Ohio. The museum's collection features a wide range of art from classical to contemporary, and includes works by some of history's most well-known painters. The Glass Pavilion is one of the most popular attractions at the museum, and its curved glass walls are simply stunning.
It was a bigger museum than I expected and curated well. The inside layout is a bit confusing but you can see a lot. You get a lot of hope for good items when you first walk in and see the Van Gogh and Monet right away, but that was about it. There was a small Rodin Thinker as well. All in all, a good time, and worth a visit if you are in the area

Wow this place is amazing! We traveled from Columbus to check out the museum and we weren’t disappointed. We have a membership with Columbus Museum of Art and through the reciprocal agreement program this was all free for us. The museum itself is free but normally you would pay $10 for parking. But since we have the membership it was free. They had works of art from all eras and I was happy to see a Renoir as those are my favorites! We spent 3 hours and didn’t get to see everything before they closed. We will be back! They have a little coffee shop with food (we didn’t go in so I can’t review that piece). They have bathrooms up and downstairs. Plenty of parking and everything is accessible. Check this out, you won’t be disappointed!

This beautiful complex is wonderfully curated which makes it easy and pleasant to experience the beauty presented. There is variety, history and culture.
I discovered a Dutch painting of people enjoying themselves on the frozen canal. And there were men playing golf! Yes, in 17th C.! The golf clubs were similar to those used in the 1920s.
There are many buildings on the acreage of the campus. One is the "glass" museum which also houses a glassblowing demonstration and the Impressionist hall.
There is paid parking, but free entry. But be careful: if you switch parking lots to go to other buildings, it'll cost another $10. Better to walk across the street.
The staff are pleasant and personable, and contributed to a marvelous experiences we had.

The Toledo Museum of Art has so much to offer for engagement and wedding photo locations! I much prefer the outdoor locations so I do not impede on museum-goer experiences, but they are so good you won't even miss the indoor spots! There are marble columns for some classic and regal-looking photos and then there are pathways surrounded by unique art. My favorite spot is this cool metal building/wall. Rainy or bad weather? The Glass Pavilion is a very cool spot right across the street.

The Caravaggio exhibit was special and I learned a lot about the artist, his life, and style. I have a new appreciation for art in the little time I spent there.

Went to see the traveling Age of Armor exhibit that is currently on display. It was wonderfully laid out with an available audio tour. How ever long you think you'll be there, add time. There's much to see.

A beautiful museum filled with amazing treasures. Only 10.00 to park( which you pay for inside) and free admission. I was so happy to see so many people there today. Whether you casually browse or inspect everything it's a great place to go. So excited to go back sometime and try out the cafe.

One of the best art museums I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to over 30 museums, we didn’t even get to go to the blown glass Art building across the street, so we have to go back. HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!!

Came on a field trip with The Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club. We saw an amazing exhibit of artworks by Jacob Lawrence. Very nicely curated. It's such an amazing museum and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I am happy to have learned this gem that is just over an hour away from Detroit.

A famous spot at Toledo, where it accommodate varieties of arts and with detailed descriptions. The information is very educative and it’s good to have family trips here.

This is a great museum with impressive Egyptian collection amongst many others. Don't miss the glass gallery across the street housed in a sleek glass building designed by Pritzker recognized architects. Nothing against Toledo, but this is much more museum than you might expect in such a city.

The Caravaggio exhibit and the Marisol exhibit were both wonderful to see! The museum is always interesting to visit and the Glass Pavilion is very special. We had lunch at the museum, too with a nice glass of wine. They have vegan options so it's perfect for me

The ceilings are high, the exhibit is large and spacious and beautifully set up. There are multiple items to review in one space. The art is interesting and there is so much to read. You can literally spend 5 hours at this museum just reading everything and learning. It's free with $10 parking. There are multiple places to sit in every room, the staff is friendly, and the environment is quiet and extremely well kept up. Love it here.

The museum was great. Some modern, contemporary, and a good amount of the great fine arts. It would be nice if parking was free, but I'm sure it goes towards the Museum
The Toledo Botanical Garden is a vast, sprawling garden filled with plants and sculptures. The gardens are well-maintained and popular with visitors, who can learn about horticulture techniques and explore the artworks and sculptures on display. In the summertime, there's also a music festival and evening jazz shows.
This park is amazing due to its great location and beautiful sceneries inside. The park is mostly famous for being a Botanical garden where you will find variety of flowers and plants. Moreover, we did a film shoot as one of our school projects where we found best locations such as Gazebos and other iconic places as can be seen in the photos. You must visit it if you like to enjoy spending time in park and for walk.

Perfect area to wander around and discovery the beauty of nature. Nice walking trails and interesting sculptures hidden all throughout. Plenty of parking and lots of signage available for navigation. Picture perfect and great for picnics. Park for kids, little ponds with fish and other wild life, bathrooms near and clean. Can't wait to go back again and see more flowers in bloom.

It's Beautiful! Went there for a nice walk and took some photos of my fiancees Webkinz while there. It isn't the largest park ever but it's beautiful for sure. Can't imagine when everything blooms this summer it's going to be a heaven on earth!

The Toledo Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to walk around and enjoy the greenery, particularly on a nice weather day. The best part is that it's a free and open Botanical Garden - just park and start exploring! We really enjoyed spending some quality time here. It takes a little over an hour to walk around and take in all the sights at a leisurely pace.

How is this gem free?!? We are delighted by the playground, clean bathrooms, manicured gardens with fantastic signage, design of pathways to meander through, and plentiful picnic tables. We only explored a small portion and look forward to going again.

I absolutely love this place. Go for the flowers, the trees and the connection to nature.. or go for the artist village, the sculptures and unique gardens and watch a community work together to keep this space lovely year round. Go for the playground and show the kids chipmunks and fishes and listen for frogs and birds. Really, it's a magical piece of heaven.

This is a nice garden in the Toledo area. It's a bit of a drive from downtown, but reasonable. Admission is free, and there are bathrooms on the premises. The garden has an artists' village where various groups create and/or sell their artwork. As of mid-April, a lot of plants have yet to bloom, but the area would be pretty in the summer.

Trees were bare still in April, but the perfect spot to watch the eclipse! Can't wait to return and see it in full bloom in a few weeks. Easy to get to and to park at, plus great picnic benches and space to throw a frisbee. Totally free.

I've been coming to Toledo Botanical Garden for years. It's absolutely my favorite place to go. They have wonderful paths to explore nature all throughout their gardens. A perfect place to take photos of the family. There is a treehouse playground the kids loved playing on.

A must-see if you’re in Toledo! It has a variety of different plants, trails, art, sculptures, etc. It’s free to the public, so you do not need to pay any admission to gain entry. It also offers a playground for children & other activities. If you’ve never been, make the trip here! You will truly be amazed by all the sights to see.

The Toledo Botanical Garden is a whimsical place that is easy to get lost at. The gardens and grounds are curated/cared for very meticulously. There are many studios that produce different types of art, including blown and stained glass. You can even buy something to take with you or as a gift in their small shop. This is a great location for photography of all kinds. The gardens also support persons with disabilities through art. ❤️

What an awesome place to visit. Our photographer chose this place as a setting for my son's senior pictures. Needless to say, we stayed after the picture to enjoy the grounds. It's such a hidden gem in Toledo. I've lived in the surrounding area for almost 51 years, and never thought to come here until it was suggested to us. We will definitely be back to enjoy as much of the little hidden sights that we can. The grounds are so well kept and awe-inspiring!

Collection of variety of plants is poor. But overall landscaping, sculptures, waterbody are good. Family friendly place, ideal for picnic and photoshoot. Fall color is also vibrant here. To me, its more like a beautiful park, less like a botanical garden.

Great botanical garden, with a mix of plants and sculptures. The location also has multiple craft sites for learning. There is a gift shop onsite, along with a kids play area.
Most paths are asphalt to make access easy for everyone.

We visited for the Toledo Botanical Garden for the Jazz series. It was $10.00 admission per adult and free for kids. The Botanical Gardens themselves are free. During the concert the main entrance is closed for handicap accessibility. During normal operation the botanical gardens main entrance is the hub of activity. They have art classes, shops, the bathroom, the meeting hall, etc. The back entrance has a much larger parking lot. This botanical gardens is huge and beautiful. I think, the time before, we spent 2-3 hours walking through. I have recommended this garden to anyone who will hear about it.

Nice well maintained park with several different themed gardens within, including a small rose garden. Plenty of benches to rest and enjoy the views, along with places to picnic. Good backdrops to take engagement photos, and an activity area for small children to play.
