The Mrs. Macquarie's Chair is a popular Sydney landmark that offers stunning harbour views as well as city views of the CBD. It was carved by convicts for Governor Macquarie's wife, Elizabeth, and is now one of Sydneys most visited landmarks.
@jadeexplores This is probably one of the best sunset spots in Sydney. You're able to get an incredible view of both the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. It can get quite busy on a good evening, so make sure to come early and set up a picnic on the grass nearby.

Breath taking view of clear blue ocean and Opera House, Sydney Bridge and Tower in a single horizon. Best place to take pics with such world famous landmarks as backdrop. Spend good time with near n dear ones on the bank.

Went walking through Sydney’s Botanical garden a week ago, worth visiting in Sydney, relaxing and breath taking. Ice cream and coffee van stops while taking in this beautiful natural environment. Also spotted Indiras tree (Author of “Space between the stars - a must read ) 😊

Unbeatable views of the Bridge, and across to Kirribilli, and around the corner to Garden Island Naval Base, all for the cost of parking......or why not stroll across the Botanical Gardens from the Opera House? Bring a rug and a picnic and your favourite friend for a day out.
This is surely one of Sydney's highlights, and it's there for all to enjoy.
Mike Down Under — Google review
So stunning. It’s an amazing spot for any occasion; visiting, picnic, date night, etc. It is the best spot to take photos of both the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. On the left hand side you can see back to the city and it’s beautiful.

Located at the tip in the Botanic garden, around 30+ min walk in if walking directly without stopping.
Lots of chairs and seating areas for resting around the botanic garden.
Excellent view of the Sydney opera house and the waters on one side, and seemingly a naval shipyard on the other side.

Open air cinema is a must see. Best cinema. Who cares what the movie is, the view is stunning and atmosphere is nice. Remember to have a free Nespresso coffee.
Hamid Govahi — Google review
The best views of Sydney Harbour, the Bridge and Opera House. Beautifully maintained and a good spot for picnics. The only issue is the parking, way too expensive. Try to get public transport.

Mrs Macquarie's Chair is a Sydney landmark. The chair was carved out of a sandstone rock ledge by convicts in 1810. Specially commissioned by Governor Macquarie for his wife Elizabeth who was known to love the area. The area is surrounded by the iconic Sydney harbour and offers unique views. It is one of the best vantage points to view the sights of Sydney Harbour, opera house, and harbour bridge.
Mohammad Kalantari — Google review
Go to the Westpac Open Air Cinema as a yearly ritual. It never disappoints. It was sunny and beautiful on the day I went. However, in previous year I have gone when it’s been raining and it is still just as fabulous. The Sydney harbour back drop is just something else.

Great photo ops. Beautiful landscaping. Well groomed premises. Plenty of benches for resting. Lots of parking. Restrooms were clean. Safe place to take the family for a museum and scenic photographing afternoon. Highly recommend a visit.

From here, I was able to admire beautiful views across the ocean, including the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge.
It would take more than 20 minutes to walk from the Opera House, but it is a very pleasant and beautiful place with botanical gardens. It is one of the tourist spots that I highly recommend.

Gives the best view of the Orchestra House and the Harbor bridge. It is just across it.

Good view of Opera house and the Harbour Bridge. Every Saturday there is a fireworks for about 30 seconds around 8.30 pm. Check the site to get the updated dates. Paid parking is available.

Excellent view of the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour. Although its name involves a chair I didn't see any chair on the hill. It's inside the Royal Botanical Garden. Beware that the Botanical Garden closes rather early in the evening.

Amazing views for opera house and harbour bridge . Definitely the best view which shows both together. Pack a picnic and spend your day here. Plenty of trees for shade. Metered parking

It can be reached by a nice walk along the harbour through the bottom of the botanic gardens from the opera house. Lots of photo opportunities along the way. If you continue along the path you will reach the NSW museums, which will complete your day.
Wheelchair friendly to the chair and back to the opera house.

Nestled within the picturesque Camellia Gardens, The Jade Teahouse is a charming dining spot offering a delightful experience. With its quaint indoor dining area and outdoor seating overlooking the lush gardens, it's an ideal setting for brunch, lunch, or high tea. Renowned for its delectable scones and homemade tea blends, this teahouse also caters to children with a special kid's High-Tea menu.
Having a tea house within Camellia Garden is genius. They serve high tea and also light meals here. The tea menu is extensive and so interesting 🫖💓 Service is also friendly and down to earth. A must try if you’re visiting the gardens.

Congrats to the new owners!!
I’ve been so looking forward to coming to have tea and scones.
The tea and dessert are great!!! Just to clarify my 2 stars , not for the food at all . The food itself as I’ve been coming here for years are 5 stars.
The service to be desired. We got a great seat!!!
But service started very poorly.
Was bought a bottle of water , after ordering and asking for glasses , that’s 10/15min , they were bought over . Dessert served …… but where’s the tea…. . It eventually came after asking …and nearly finishing the dessert. No sugar no milk.
All in all some tweaking to do with staff.
All in all I will come back as I really do like that place and this review is only to make you better!
Good luck Jade

This Teahouse is inside Camellia Garden. Very peaceful lovely tea house surrounded by a lot a green from Camellia Garden.
I bought a book named “Mrs. Cook” about Captain Cook wife’s life. From the book I knew that Camelia Garden is a place to honour Mrs. Cook. I decided to visit the Garden. Before that I did some research and knew about this Teahouse. I was satisfied with lunch and time I had at the Teahouse.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR KIDS HIGH TEA PARTY
Over charged with food, nothing else is included aside from the juice and the middle aged lady wearing black glasses could be the owner or waitress asked me more than 5 times if we’re taking the food home. Obviously we’re not even halfway with our coffee and food still barely touched. Let us finish the food we paid for. It was booked for kids high tea and expectedly they will make noise and run around our table which was not much room to even get up.
DONOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID, SPEND IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Analy Ylaya — Google review
Such a gorgeous spot. I love that there’s two playgrounds to for kids. There’s ample seating outside near the play area too. Food is good, a little pricey, but worth it as part of the whole experience. I’d love it if the Devonshire tea was served with strawberry jam. It was maybe a rhubarb jam I got given. The teahouse has a lovely vibe, and very pretty set up. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Will be back.
Brooke Macey — Google review
Such a quaint and enchanting tea house. From the moment you enter you are greeted with a visual display of otherworldly tea cups and charm of yesteryear. The food is delicious and their specialty whole leaf teas will delight you. The setting in the Camelia gardens gives you the opportunity to wander along tree lined pathways with displays of flowering Camellia depending on the season, ducks and running streams. The perfect location to unwind and relax after a heavy week. Highly recommend you book a table with your friends as this place is very popular. I was there in April during the flowering season.
Dalia's Blue Mountain Retreat — Google review
A worthwhile spur of the moment decision to drop in for a morning coffee. I had not been to the teahouse for more than 10:years.A tranquil atmosphere surrounded by greenery and a refreshing light breeze on the balcony was ideal and my cappuccino was perfect. To top it off the staff were lovely, accommodating and very helpful!
I will definitely return to try some of the organic varieties of teas and delicious cakes.
Suzanne Boylan — Google review
Good service, food was tasty, BYO alcohol option.
Had the high tea at the teahouse.
We arrived at our allocated time and our table was still being set up. The gardens was a pretty location so didn't mind the wait as we looked at the plants.
There was no rush us to leave after we overstayed our allocated time.
We only had 1 water jug for our party of 6. One water jug was not near enough to fill 6 small tumblers of water. Would be better if there was enough table water for the party. I didn't mind because I don't drink table tap water, but still wasn't enough water for the people who may want to drink the water.
The food was presented well, and tasty.
The soft drinks were served differently amongst our party. One person in the party received a can with their soft drink in a glass. Another person in the party only received a glass of soft drink. The size of the glass held half of the soft drink in a can. The quantity of soft drink wasn't the same. Would be better if there was a standard for serving drinks.

Elevated spot for picnics, dramatic sunset views & wildlife, including kangaroos & birds.
While the name of it feels like a personal attack for a balding man, it's too beautiful and bald to hold a grudge.
And wonderful cafe that was very serious on COVID safety and crucially doesn't hold back on the garlic in their garlic sauce 👍🏻

The panoramic views offered here span a vast, undulating coastline, with the dramatic cliffs dropping off to pristine beaches that are lapped by the rhythmic waves of the sea. The site is extremely accessible, with ample parking that although can become busy, is an indicator of the spot's popularity and worth.Observing the gliders take off from the hill is a unique experience, a testament to the spot's perfect blend of wind and elevation. The lookout itself is well structured, providing clear, unobstructed views. Additionally, the surrounding area has a lovely ambience, inviting for picnics or leisurely walks. The contrast of the bustling car park against the serene backdrop of nature provides a sense of community and shared appreciation for this natural wonder. Whether you're passing through or a local rediscovering the area, Bald Hill Lookout is a chapter of Sydney's natural beauty that warrants repeated reading. A must-visit for anyone looking to capture the essence of coastal New South Wales.

Visit this place for breathtaking views and/or to experience paragliding. On a normal day car parking is not a problem. However, sometimes it could get really busy. Take-away shop is good, enjoy the beautiful views with fish and chips or a pizza. Btw there are free public toilets.

Food eatable but certainly overpriced for its presentation (wine also) salads a bit sad, not everybody is vego or vegan, needs more pasta dishes. Restaurant seating and table area has an overall grimy look. Beautiful gallery, beautiful gardens, still encasing the original home. A summers day would be lovely here. easy parking for all, easy to navigate for people with Mobility issues, staff very friendly. Main gallery was closed, as they were setting up for new artist's, but was still able to see paintings from various artists in large foyer, and gallery store on site. No problems with taking pictures of art. Cafe food was a bit of a disappointment, was not hot, so took it back, which they promptly recooked. Still wasn't hot (poached eggs need to be hot). It was still tasty though. Doesn't put me off coming back, as after all I was there for the art after all

Gallery was amazing. Food in restaurant was delish:) Unfortunately, one big bald man from the restaurant ruined our experience after berating us for not picking a table before ordering our food - even though the restaurant was 90% empty and my sister pointed to a perfectly suitable table indoors to sit at. He also said we couldn't add a small table to the chosen table so we could have a spot for the baby and said we needed to sit out in the sun with our 18month old in the heat. We respectfully ignored him and added the table. I did say that he should have a sign with the rules if he is going to berate customers about ordering before picking a table. Very unnecessary behaviour.

Hazelnuts Arts Centre is a cultural oasis in the midst of large garden. It is a short walk from Gymea station with some off street parking.
The current exhibitions "Lost in the Forest" is a series of images of foliage, flora and lush garden scenes that is exquisically crafted. The artist Amy Jones has used an extensive range of textile techniques and embroidery stitches to create her detailed intricate compositions, a visual feast for the eyes.
The second exhibition we saw was this year's ART EXPRESS. I am never disappointed by the quality and innovative concepts that these HSC Visual Arts students come up with. They demonstrate innovative interpretations of personal, cultural, environmental and political concepts. The media chosen and skill shown is amazing.
The gallery also has a cafe and gift shop. Would highly recommend a visit.

Palm Beach is a locality situated in the Northern Beaches subdivision of Sydney, which is positioned in New South Wales, Australia. It lies approximately 41 kilometers to the north of Sydney's central business district and belongs to the administration of the Northern Beaches Council.
We went for the sunrise kayaking experience at 6am. Such a beautiful experience. Stu was an excellent instructor and took many pics of our adventures for all of us. Saw stingrays and jellyfishes on our way. We also went for a mini hike up to Pride rock. As a non-swimmer and a beginner, I was apprehensive for kayaking. But they are professionals with excellent customer service. I felt very safe and had a fun experience. Highly recommend everyone to check it out - even beginners, non-swimmers and children. I will go again.

Our family took a visiting work colleague from overseas on the 9-12 tour and it was a most enjoyable morning. Even though I've lived in Sydney my whole life, this was a perspective I've never had before. Enjoying a quiet, empty, picturesque beach and bush track like that, you'd think you were miles from anywhere. The views at the top were as beautiful as any in the world. Our children are 7 and 10, and if you're taking children, you can expect they will help paddle intermittently and take breaks, so it'd be good if they are with an adult capable of doing the majority of the work. Our guest enjoyed the experience very much, as did we all. Thanks to our guide, Stu!

Barrenjoey Lighthouse is a popular tourist attraction located in the northern beaches of Sydney. The walk up to the lighthouse offers stunning ocean views that span from Broken Bay to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and the Central Coast. The landmark was built in 1881, and during its heyday was used as a filming location for the Australian soap opera Home & Away.
Wonderful walk on a sunny day, two trails are available to the top. From the car park you access these trails via. a walk along the beach. Toilets and water are available at the top even though signs say the contrary. Must be recently installed. Be wary car parking is between $8-10 per hour.

The steps are many 550 steps -up, up and away. But the trail is short on the step side so the legs and lungs burn but it is over soon. That aside, it is a must do!
The steps / trail, is wide and well marked - you can go up the steps and down the sloped side on the way back to create a full circuit. The views are breathtaking (could be all the steps 🤣) so many perfect photo opportunities and they all do not disappoint.
We spent about an hour at the top, found a nice rock spot in the sun and just took in the majesty of the sea and the height of the vistas.

Stunning views for a relatively easy hike! Didn’t go in the lighthouse just walked around. If you have good mobility/stability I recommend going up one path and down the other to soak up all the views.

This place is amazing. We went in the morning. The view is amazing and the air is so fresh you'll feel it. There are stairs to go up and also there is a route to go up for maybe ambulant people and aged who can't climb stairs. This place is perfect for a vacation with friends or family. They have drinking water and also restrooms all the way up near the lighthouse. Overall a great visit.

Just beautiful. There are two ways to head up to the lighthouse. Both are steep. The one I travelled on was the Access Trail. Short distance, but you can definitely stop to catch your breath and take in the views from different angles. Bring a bottle of water on hot days. There are also toilets at the top. The views are amazing and are worth the trek up. The walk back down is quick and faster, but still a steep decline down, so take your time.

A must to visit in Sydney, NSW. Built in 1881, this heritage lighthouse is an iconic Sydney attraction offering stunning views of palm beach and ocean. A great option to explore nature and enjoy time with family or friends. Pay park is available (starting 8$ for 1 h and costing 1$ per each extra hour). 25 min from car park. Take smugglers track to reach to the lighthouse. Its shorter and offers amazing views to take incredible photos. Highly recommended!!!

Visited light house palm beach this weekend and loved the beach cool breeze and a grade 2 hike. There are two hikes, you can choose either one depending on your stamina and energy. We choose grade one which is mostly stair cases and it’s a 15 min hike 1 way to light house, it was an amazing experience.
A must visit for bike lovers like me.

Took a walk today to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse. Suggest to park your car at “Station Beach” and walk along the beach. The walk is around 10 minutes from carpark to the signboard before a 35 minutes return to the lighthouse. It was quite steep but doable for most ages. Overall, a good walk! Highly recommended!

What a view from the top! Gorgeous lighthouse and buildings. On Sundays you can do guided tours of the lighthouse and surrounding buildings. There are two ways to walk up. Stairs which takes about 10 minutes which is graded as a 3. I took them up and went down the slope which took 15 minutes and graded a 2. Both ways were very good and wonderful views.

Wonderful circular walk up to the lighthouse and back to the car park. The walk up the steep path gets your blood pumping but then rewarded with lovely views from the top and, if you're lucky, maybe spot a breaching whale. You can take the more gentle path up too if you prefer.

The Barrenjoey Lighthouse, located in New South Wales, Australia, has a rich history dating back to 1881 when it was built to guide ships into Broken Bay. It sits atop Barrenjoey Head, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding coastline. Originally operated by lighthouse keepers, it was automated in 1972. Today, it stands as a historic landmark and popular tourist attraction, accessible via a scenic walk from Palm Beach.
Very nice view amazing day well spent with a little bit hiking to top. Amazing sunset view.

2nd time visiting this place. Great views. Rated as Grade 2-3 with a return hike time of 35 minutes. Parking is about 300m from the starting point. The fee was $10/hr or $40/day for the public holiday. Check Park n Pay app. There are two ways to get to the lighthouse. One is via the stairs which is steeper but quicker and the other is a gradual slope. I personally prefer the slope as it’s wider and you don’t have to wait for people to go from the other direction. Both have their pros and cons. By the way there are portable toilets at the lighthouse. Or if you’d rather use the restrooms at the carpark before you start the journey.

My pet parrot and I really enjoyed the hike up to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse. The views from the lighthouse are stunning and gorgeous: looking back on two bays (Station Beach and Palm Beach) with bush land in between. Even though both of us were drenched with rainstorm, we were extremely satisfied with the views and the lovely people we met on the hike.
Parking is quite pricey if you park by the Station Beach and the Boathouse ($10 per hour). We park on the side street off the Barrenjoey road (free 2 hour parking), and enjoyed the walk passing through the shops on the way to the Station Beach.

You have two choices of route to get up and down. One is steeper and faster(stairs) and another is longer and more mellow/ no stairs . They have a sign to tell u which is easy to navigate. There’s spots and views along to way to stop and check out and it’s such a peaceful nice view esp sunset time. It gets quite cold up there during the late arvo . Recommend to bring some snacks when u reach the top

Brilliant place to visit with family… it has 2 routes (400m grade3 and 800 grade) which is not a lot considering the view from top
There is not a lot once you reach to top but enjoy the scenery and click some pics
Ample parking around Palm beach and can later enjoy quite picnic..
Don’t forget to stuff yourself with ice creams before you start your hike!!!

It was a spontanous decision to visit this place today from Manly!
Because there is a public bus Manly - Palm Beach *number 199.
More crazy act to hike the hill to see this Lighthouse because I just recovered from knees and ankles injury.
There are 2 different ways up.
I recommended smugglers track. Trust me!
The view from this lighthouse is spectacular.
Anyway, there is a tour available around of this lighthouse of you interested.

Very nice walk up to the lighthouse! Best thing is that it's fairly close to the city and you can still take the public transportation to Palm Beach.

Parked outside the paid parking area by the boat shed and walked long the beach to the lighthouse ramp.
Walk up is steep, so I actually recommend taking the stairs. We found it tiring, it was about 6 minutes of non stop stairs. (I think the ramp would have been just as tiring)
Recommend going up near sunset. There are trails near the lighthouse that lead to better views of the peninsula.

Beautiful scenic views. 2 trails going to the top where the lighthouse is. We went up the steep 10min trail and came down the longer less steep trail. Best time to hike in the morning to catch the sun rising.

Best photo spot is near the top of the scenic track just off the side facing the beach.
Fairly easy walk but a little exposed so take some sunscreen.
Looks like whales come into the harbour between May & August.

Best place in Sydney , so calm and beautiful views. I usually go all the way down to the very end among the bushes from up near the lighthouse, too many insects, bushes and rocks. But this spot is exceptional, not everyone is that fit to reach this point.

Worth the visit!
Nice trail to walk up.
Two options, road or steps.
I suggest to walk up the road and walk down the steps, much easier.
Also, one up there, go dipper in the wild trail until the end of the cliff, amazing view of the left beach from there. But be careful is dangerous!

Nice awesome views, a great steep hike up a flight of stairs, good cardio, beautiful spots to stop & click photos. Avoiding the stairs you can walk down a steep pathway. One must wonder how people made a beautiful lighthouse 144 years ago.

Zoo featuring a variety of animals along with a splash park & adventure playground.
Visited today (Saturday) Very humid and sticky! But it was perfect because it didn’t rain on us, thank goodness.
The staffs are friendly, the service was quick. They scanned by barcode & provide me with the animal food.
I have loads of fun, seeing different animals, especially the Australian native animals. My 2-year-old nephew loved it as well.
The water splash park was also fun, it was too hot I went to play with nephew in the water!
It was only 30 minutes from the shire.

Little place to spend the day with family, but not worth the trip all the way from Sydney. My little one had a great day though and enjoyed the playground!
Once we visited Symbio lots of areas were under construction. Staff were great with the kids and very informative.
Feeding lamas, kangaroos, goats, ships...were the best part of the trip.

One of my best experiences is due to the add-on of Koala 🐨 Encounter. My family enjoyed the experience all around, from taking photos with the Koalas and playing at the playground. It wasn't crowded or too large that we felt exhausted. We were able to spend a few hours with the kids.

Park was a top-notch. The animals look well-cared for and the place is spotless. Got to get up close with some Aussie wildlife, which was ace. The koala encounter is a must-do. Reception staff can use some improvements in attitude. Cafe had cockroaches running around. Great spot for a family day or just to chill with nature. Def recommend!

we bought our tickets on line, which was a good thing, given the weather. we would have been able to wait for a whole year from date of purchase, I am glad we went when we did.
although it was a wet day we all loved it. My grandson really enjoyed feeding and getting close to the animals. I think his first birthday was well spent at Symbio

Google has Symbio tagged as a zoo but I'd say it's more like a small sanctuary with a lot of local species and a few from farther away. The highlights are obviously seeing the koalas and feeding the kangaroos. Getting up close with kangaroos is definitely not an experience you get at a typical zoo. I was also quite impressed with the late afternoon koala program which was not really a show but more of a conversation with the keeper as she tended to the animals. I learned a ton about koalas that I probably wouldn't have at a typical zoo. There's a playground and splash park for the kiddos, though this can be a fun time even if you don't have kids.

Came with a 2 and a half year old, was a fantastic half day. No rush and small crowd, exhibits were small enough for her to see without having to be carried, enough for an easy day of fun with the animals. Purchased feed for the open areas to feed the animals.
Food options were a little expensive, but a number of different options, facilities were clean, staff were really friendly and helpful.

We came here on a Monday with a six month, old son, and we had just the most easy, relaxed and fun filled day. Highly recommend coming on a sunny day to enjoy everything this Park has to offer. We particularly liked the petting zoo with the farm animals as well as the kangaroos, the play park as well with all the equipment available was also super enjoyable. This is a very family friendly place and will be coming here for many years. I’m sure.

Symbio is such an awesome zoo! I went here on a Friday and it was so good with koalas, penguins, turtles, snakes, crocodiles, dingos and so much more. I bought my tickets online and there's really no wait for entry they just scan the QR code on your phone, give you any items like animal food and then you're in.
One of my favourite parts was getting to actually hand feed and pet the animals including Kangaroos, Wallabies, Goats, Emus and Chickens. The Kangaroos and Wallabies are in an open grass area meaning you can freely approach them.
This is all included in admission and only requires buying the food bag (2 for $5). Very reasonably priced overall and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nice for half day trip. Kids will love feeding and petting the animals (kangaroos, goats, sheep, emus) and close animal encounters (paid). The place has its own kids playground and lots of resting places and benches and toilets. Even saw some birthday celebrations going on, which was lovely to see with lots of kids.
A little bit of walking is involved so be prepared.

Lovely wildlife park with a great range of Aussie animals! Loads of space and well looked after grounds. It surprisingly never feels overly busy or stressful and it’s easy to get out when you have all had enough - unlike the bigger zoos! Take a packed lunch, the cafe is small and very limited (but they are building a new one which is cool!). Splash park is amazing in the summer! Oh and there is a fabulous kids playground too! Everything you need for a fab family day out!

Great experience at Symbio. Staff were friendly and the animal enclosures were large and well maintained. I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the farmyard area. The goats had grass and their indoor space to use. Everything smelt clean.

What a fantastic experience for the Koala encounter. You are up close and personal with the soft cuddly Koalas. Fed them eucalyptus leaves and Jamba even bellowed for us! Wonderful experience. Also fed the kangaroos up close and personal watching those big middle toes of course and following instructions explicitly :)

A fantastic day out for all the family. Beautiful facilities. Lovely collection of animals (the baby koala was a highlight). Really informative talks (we loved the reptile show!) Staff who know a huge amount about what they're speaking on — and have a passion for the animals and an ability to communicate well with kids. And an amazing play park for the younger members of our party to run off energy. All in all a brilliant day out — I'd give it six stars if I could!

Fantastic! This place is always a favourite with my friends and me. Symbio has a great range of animals to see. You are encouraged to be hands on with the animals which is a big plus as you can get up close. The park is not too big which makes it easy to get around. There’s the reptile demonstration the koala demonstration which is always popular.

What a beautiful wildlife park. The animals appeared well taken care of and happy. It was a bonus for us to see so many animals awake and moving, many more than we've seen at other wildlife parks. The animal cages were so clean, the penguin exhibit had the cleanest glass I've ever seen. Feeding the animals was fun, but note there is no hand soap provided in the hand washing stations.
The staff were friendly and informative, the food was expensive but chicken burger was delicious.
The water park was great fun for the kids at the end of our trip.

Took my three year old boy there midweek school holidays. It was very busy, but we had a great time walking around the park twice, enjoying the water park and playground. Lovely Wildlife Park! Loved feeding the kangaroos, emus, and goats. Definitely purchase some food as you enter the park. The park is laid out very well and did not feel crowded. All the enclosures are very well maintained, and all animals seem to have plenty of space. I am usually quite apprehensive about visiting zoos as they can be a bit sad - this is not one of them. Chatswood Chase is a large shopping mall located in Chatswood, north of Sydney CBD. The centre was first opened in 1983 and is the largest mall of its kind in Chatswood. The mall features department stores such as JB Hi-Fi, Myer and David Jones, as well as specialty shops such as opticians and jewellery stores. Additionally, the shopping mall includes food courts and restaurants ranging from fast food chains to fine dining establishments.
Claypot Kitchen is the best food in the Asian court. Congee with pork was the best. Great value for money. Quick service with food.

This is a mid size shopping centre in Chatswood with 3 hours free parking aswell. They have alot of shops, restaurants, cafes, chemist, supermarket, food court and etc. Chatswood is in the North Sydney, so it is a expensive area and it's a business hub aswell. I do enjoy going to Chatswood because there's alot of popular asian restaurants like hidilao, ding tai fung, ipudo, new shanghai and etc. Chatswood has another big westfield shopping centre there aswell.

If you're wondering how the renovations are going, there are currently unterminated wires hanging from the roof at head height. Food court is almost entirely boarded up. I'm sure it'll be nice when all the work is done but right now the Westfield up the road is a much better option.

One of the two main shopping centres in Chatswood, super crowded. On average slightly higher end stores than Westfield.
The lines to get into the car park are awful, the lines in the car park to get a space are awful, and the lines to get out of the car park are awful.
That kind of sums up Chatswood and cars.

Lots of refurbishment of shops. Big stores with expensive stuff are largely empty. Most traffic is in Coles, coffee shops and Kmart. Only one Indian eatery and no outlet for Indian condiments etc. Coles has a single Isle for this. Majority food stores and eatery is Chinese, Korean or Vietnamese

The chase used to be a great shopping centre in many aspects. Great variety of shops to cater for the diverse range of shoppers. The car parking was always tricky but it's been disastrous since the Reno's. The owners should just compensate its loyal shoppers by manning the boom gates during peak times ie just before school pickup. But in saying that the owners probably or oblivious to this or just don't care. It's a fact many loyal customers have left the chase and moved to westfields. I've attached a few photos to show the constant backlog of traffic trying to leave the carpark. Please look after your loyal customers and be proactive ie man the gates during peaks or if understaffed leave the boomgates up during peak for an hour. Thx

The Centre is being redeveloped, fair enough. And I’m sure it will be wonderful in 18 months time. But ATM the signage to find any of the small number of businesses still operating is unhelpful. The help desk people are MIA, and parking 🤷♀️. Where is the service we are used to from a high end shopping centre? How about a desk (and some people) at the entrances to help us navigate the next 18months?

Has to be the worst design for a car park I've ever seen. Very short aisles so there are lots of turns and constant traffic jams. If you're coming to this shopping centre, leave lots of time for entering and exiting the car park. On the bright side, it seems that most of the people using the car park are not shopping in Chatswood Chase, as the centre itself did not have many shoppers inside.

If I am the boss of the mall, I will fire the whole management team. They are so unprofessional. They cannot tackle the stinky toilet problem for so many years. If the customer used the toilet once, they definitely will ranked the mall at the lowest level in nearby suburbs. Although there are some good shop inside to attract customers, however the overall environment in the shop is the worst I ever seen in Sydney. This mall definitely downgraded the level and property value of Chatswood.

Chatswood Chase is in the process of being renovated. Only one floor is accessible plus David Jones and K Mart. The food court is predominantly Asian food. No little cafes with coffee and a muffin. I had never been here before.
They're doing renovations in the central area. Moving the elevators. Really disruptive.
It tries to be upmarket, but it's the same stores as every other large mall.
It's a bit of a rabbit warren to navigate, ie hard to glance at which stores are in a certain direction, as some have poor signage until you're right in front of them.
Seemed a bit dead on a weekday, except for all the kept women and retirees in the cafe.
I saw some really exxy meals. Who is paying $28 to eat at a shopping centre for a weekday lunch?
David Jones had limited stock in the department I went to. And lululemon had limited stock compared to other stores, ie didn't carry much in size 14-18.
I'm sure it's a different vibe on the weekend.
It definitely gave death knell for bricks and mortar retail vibes.
There was also zero space to sit, unless in a Cafe. 1 in 3 Australians are disabled (once you count mobility, pain, aging). Being unable to rest discouraged me from staying longer. Why are they so afraid to provide seating?

Walk down stairs to an interesting choice of food in the food court then leads to Kmart, Telstra, Newsagents & a Big Toy Store. Up the escalators to a Cafe restaurant, several floors of David Jones & Boutique, Franchise stores.
Popular zoo with many species of reptiles, free-roaming kangaroos, shows & hands-on experiences.
It's a good place to see and know about Australian native animals. All the tasks are great giving his info about the animals.
From planning your day perspective you can visit in the morning and go with each talk or other option to visit in the afternoon as all the talks repeat in the second half. You can finish everything in half a day.
Better to carry food as the cafe gets busy during weekend lunch hours. There is wheelchair access everywhere and they had maintained the toilets well. Alligator and crocodile talks were the best for me. The play area for kids is good too.

We stopped by the Reptile park on the way back to Sydney from Hunter Valley and boy were happy we did the the stop by! Kids simply loved to see so many reptiles, Snakes, Alligator, Turtles, Lizards and many more. Also, the shows were entertaining and informative.
Tips:
- Reach early like by 10am. There are regular shows every 30 min and they are fun and educational as the host explains you everything in detail.
- For photos, would suggest to take package where you can take photos with all four, Python, Alligator, Koala and Owl. Since they allow all family members to be in photo it turns out to be cheaper and fun.

We love regularly visiting the Reptile Park with our young kids. We have annual passes otherwise I think it's too expensive for a single visit as we don't tend to stay that long! Our favourite things there are patting the free roaming kangaroos, looking for koalas, the platypus, turtles and alligators and watching the reptile show. The playground if fun too! My kids are too scared of the reptile and spider exhibits as it's dark with scary noises.
It's super quiet during the week when it's not school holidays (unless you are there at the same time as a school group or tourist bus!)
We always bring our picnic to save buying food there, but their chips are good. The staff are always super friendly too and the animals look well looked-after.

An amazing reptile park.. with displays that get you close to the animals as well as highly educational talks and displays.
Being able to watch the spiders venom being collected was exceptional.
We visited during the week.. minimal crowd.
Also great playground for the little ones to have a play on and keep active

This place was enjoyable and educational.
The live demonstrations, particularly those featuring venomous snakes and imposing crocodiles, are executed with a high degree of professionalism and respect for the animals, providing visitors with a thrilling yet educational experience.
The fun experience with the kangaroo especially was the best.

Good parking. Family friendly staffs. Good thing they have plenty of spaces where family can picnic and bring their own foods inside! Hoping they can add more animals, where kids can freely pet them. But, overall the experience was great! My kids loved the animal show indeed!

This is one of the great escape spots located just around an hour drive from Sydney. The Kangaroos here are lovely and kids can have fun time feeding them. The alligators here amazing and the number of them that are maintained well in a water body with in park is amazing to watch. The tortoise that we saw was over 100 years and looks so healthy and stunning. There are variety of birds and reptiles here. A place that kids would love and a must visit spot indeed

Great zoo to see some impressive reptiles as well as some other Australian animals.
Definitely recommend it for a day out with the family.
Make sure you plan your day to see the reptile show and Elvis the crocodile being fed. Ranger Mick is very entertaining while giving some interesting facts about the animals.
The only disappointing thing was the cafe didn't have the best selection of food available. I would recommend packing some lunch or snacks for the day.

Truly wonderful! The man who does the snake and crocodile show is passionate, knowledgeable and funny! The reptile park is a pioneer in anti venom and deserves your support. Not to mention the kids LOVE it and you see such a good range of Australian animals. We bring anyone who visits us here and they all love it.

This is a great place. On top of the entrance fee, we payed for a pass to hold a Python, a baby alligator, baby Tasmanian Devils & pat a Koala plus have our photos taken with them. That made the visit worthwhile.
When we went, the kangaroo enclosure was closed due to maintenance.
It was a decent price compared with other zoo prices. We brought tickets online.
It was the week after the school holidays so no too crowded or busy so we went straight in without a line to stand in. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable.
We would recommend a visit.

We are yearly pass holders and have been quite a few times. Each time we find something new and interesting. This time we discovered Aussie Ark and also Eric's walk. They took us to different areas of the Reptile Park we haven't seen before.
As always my 7 year old grandson had a great time in the play area.

Absolutely brilliant day out. It's a good thing to contribute to because they also do important conservation work, I loved seeing the turtle conservation ark. The talks are really informative especially the one with the snakes. Lizzie the wombat was adorable and the keepers all do such an excellent job keeping the animals happy and constantly topping up the koalas trees/leaves. You came easily spend 3 hours looking round here.

Knowing of my interest in wildlife, Australian friends that I was visiting recommended a visit to the Australian Reptile Park. After viewing the options, we decided on taking the "Behind the Scenes" tour as well as a non-guided tour of the park.
First, I'll say the reptile park wasn't just reptiles, but a collection of animals of all types unique to Australia, even some non-native species. Wallabies, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, koalas, platypuses, wombats, etc. in well-designed cages complimented the turtles, snakes, lizards, spiders, etc. on display. The park is well laid out and a map is furnished even though it is easy to navigate from exhibit to exhibit.
The self-paced, self-guided tour allowing us to get fairly close to these unique animals was fascinating enough to more than justify the admission charge. The Behind the Scenes tour was expensive, but also well worth the price. In a group of 4, we saw one of Australia's very poisonous snakes and a deadly spider milked, fed alligators and a cassowary, held a non- poisonous snake and lizards, and stroked a little koala's fur. The guide who accompanied us was an encyclopedia of knowledge about every creature we saw, as well as being very as being very personable and considerate. (I'm a slow walker due to arthritis.)
This visit was absolutely the highlight of my stay in Australia. A visit to the park is recommended for anyone who would like to see a snapshot of Australia's unique, amazing wild life in a well designed, comfortable environment. The Behind the Scenes tour is an amazing opportunity to actually interact with some of the animals and to learn about the park's anti-venom program for poisonous snake and spider bites.

I've been to this place twice and my family loved it both times. Great memories of walking around kangaroos, seeing a giant tortoise and seeing so many well looked after koalas. My kids are 4 and 1.5. The playground is also a huge hit with them. The staff are passionate about the animals, friendly and understanding, highly recommend!

Great experience at the reptile park, there was a good picnic area and playground with shade and amazing range of wildlife such as birds, frogs, lizards, alligator, crocodile, koala, wallaby and many more. My favourite was seeing the frogs, they looked so beautiful with their gem like, metallic colouring. It had a forest like area and well maintained with wheelchair friendly paths. The reception building maybe needs updating and a lick of paint, tickets are a little expensive for me personally, otherwise perfect place for all people old and young.

Beautiful family day out spent at Australian Reptile Park.
Clean and spacious environment for animals
Plenty of grass areas and seating for picnic lunch or morning tea.
Animals all looked healthy and both staff and animals seemed more than happy to be there.
Tasmanian devil full of life then collapsed chilling in sunshine. Kangaroos all happy to see you with small bags of food to give. Platypus was easy to find and was extremely active, cute and chubby.
Spent over 3 hours with grandson 4 years and family. Relaxed in lovely quiet environment for morning tea . Great time of Arrival 9am decided upon. Cost probably a little expensive for a family, but can see your monies have been well used keeping this Park beautiful and animals loved.
and just a nice one hour drive north out of city hustle and bustle.

The Australian Reptile Park was a great experience for our little one. It’s a great way to spend the day together as a family.
A number of animals form a part of the park including crocodiles, platypus, Koalas, Wallaby, Monitor lizards, Snakes etc. However, I did feel that the enclosures for some of the animals were smaller than expected and hopefully the reptile park will provide larger spaces for these wild animals.
If you are planning to visit, it’s better to pack a picnic than buy from the snack shop as most of the food items are expensive.
However, it was a good day visit from Sydney and provided a lot of insights into the world of reptiles.
Wildlife sanctuary with a visitor center & Aboriginal sites offering guided tours & animal feedings.
Awesome place for families to enjoy animal encounters. We went on a Sunday afternoon, not too many visitors, no wait to buy entry tickets. Rangers shared a lot of info and fun facts about animals, everyone there was super friendly. Learn more on their website about open hours, entry ticket packages and presentation times. There's petting zoo for younger kids. Please come support this wonderful sanctuary! They take NSW Discover vouchers. Gift shop has nice merchandise.

I am so glad I finally took my family here.. This is a very calming and enjoyable place to enjoy bush walking and animals in the most natural and easy going way. We brought our own food, tho could of purchased some as well. My children aged (7&9yrs) loved walking among so many kangaroos, wallabies and emus. The most calm and relaxed animals I’ve seen so far. It was so amazing practicing and learning how to throw a boomerang, listening to the dingo talk, holding a snake and feeding the alpaca, Guinea pigs and goats in the petting zoo area. The “walk about sanctuary” is the best way to get the kids loving our Australian surroundings open every day.

Wonderful and well maintained sanctuary ideal for a day outing from Sydney. The animals are well looked after and staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Kangaroos and emus roam about in the open while the visitors get to pat them and click a pic or two. The ticket includes a packet of feed for the farm animals. A very good experience to visit with kids.
Food: One could do take outs for a picnic in the sanctuary or alternatively, the visitor centre does some stock sandwiches, instant noodles and other snacks for light meals.

LOVE this place! Highly recommended must go!
We got so close to the animals and the emus, kangaroos and wallabies are tame and free-roaming. It was an amazing experience.
First time I got to see tasmanian devils active during the day! Feeding time. The keepers are obviously passionate about these beautiful native animals and wildlife conservation.
Bush walks (relatively easy and short) with aboriginal engravings and hand prints from 4000 years ago. Included in entry fee. Really cool!
Tip: Attend the keeper talks/animal feedings.
Beautiful place. Will go again!

Awesome place to spend time with animals. We spent 4.5 hours in here seeing friendly animals, throwing boomerang and hiking. It was easy walking track around 1hr to Mt White lookout with sandstone caves and Aboriginal engravings on the way. Just be careful when going up to the lookout as it was no signs there and you might get lost.

A fantastic place to visit. You can comfortably see the majority of the park and it's animals in a bit over an hour, but you could very easily spend a whole day there too. Some animals freely roam the park while others are safely kept out of reach of visitors.

I highly recommend Walkabout Wildlife Park to all ages.

Great day trip from Sydney if you know what to expect. They are much smaller than Taronga of course, but we wanted to avoid the massive crowds and give my parents visiting from overseas a nice up-close look at some local creatures. Did not disappoint! All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The short bushwalks to the indigenous carvings were also a nice diversion. If you’re not looking for elephants and giraffes, this would be a great place to bring young kids as well, as you’re almost guaranteed to be able to pat the free-ranging kangaroos.

Nice wild zoo, if we could call it in this way.
The range of different spices is wide. The organization is good. The closeness little bit less, but unfortunately we are in the wild nature.
The only sad things is that 50% of the animals are sleeping and hiding during the day and you can’t really see them.
It worth the visit.

Really great spot just off the highway.
The animal loop can take anywhere from 30 mins to a couple of hours depending on whether you time it right with some of the talks, and if you factor in doing the aboriginal walk / hike you could easily spend all day here which makes the price a bargain (not so much if you're in and out in an hour!).
We managed to navigate most of the animal loop with a pram, but you definitely couldn't do it with a wheelchair.

Mr 7 has wanted for a long time to go out at night to look for animals so I had a search online and found Australia Walkabout Park Wildlife Sanctuary in Calga (not far from the Reptile Park). How I didn’t know about this place before is beyond me as I thought we’d been to every animal experience within 1hr of Sydney at least 2 or 3 times. 🤣 The owners, with assistance of local aboriginal people, saved this amazing site from being turned into a quarry and it is now a heritage site. You can book for their sunset tour which first takes you around to see the dingo feeding, pat a koala, see the birds (one that makes a sound IDENTICAL to an old telephone ring), see the Servals. You then start the walk around the huge park and they talk about the significant plants and one of the best parts is seeing the 4000+ year-old aboriginal carvings and hand stencils. We spotted some Wallaroos and Bandicoots in the dark and then they take you to the Tassie Devils to play tug-o-war with their dinner. The night finishes with a camp fire and roasting marshmallows. Mr 7 LOVED it and was asking to go back the next day before we even left. Money well spent and it helps them help the animals. Our guides Luke and Brendan were great and really knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Great spot for camping and an introduction to horse riding. Can get very busy on weekends for the activities. The creek is tidal, so there are times when there’s no water to swim in so check the tide times. Beautiful valley with some nice camping spots. Our horse guide was very good and friendly with lots of advice and made us feel very at ease.

I wanted to share our experience today at the Giant Easter Egg Hunt, which we attended with our families at 11am. We were also keen to check out the place and book a camping site for later in the year. The tickets included a Lead Pony Ride and a Jumping Castle, but to be honest, there wasn't anything too special about the Egg Hunt or the Jumping Castle. It felt like they didn't really plan it too well. We didn't spot any ponies, just horse rides, which was a bit of a letdown. When we returned from lunch at around 1.30pm. We and along with several other families, were made to wait at the gate for 15 minutes. Eventually, the staff informed us that the Lead Pony Ride was closed for the day. Bit of a bummer, as a lot of us weren't aware of this when we purchased our passes. When we expressed our disappointment, the staff seemed to brush us off, saying it was annoying for them too and that we should take our complaints to the reception. It felt like we'd been misled, and the whole experience left us feeling quite disappointed. Sadly, we won't be coming back here anytime soon.

The quad biking was great, staff were attentive and really cared for the safety and enjoyment of the group. The horse run was an amazing sight! However, the toilet block at the Big Paddock were a let down. We camped there for 4 days 3 nights and the toilets were dirty and smelly hence the 3 Stars as they are not up to standard. Hope you look into improving this part in the future to provide your guest the 5 Stars experience.

We have been to Glenworth Valley a number of times over the years for events, horse riding and quad bike riding and we have loved every visit. Some of the negative comments are really baffling, but it’s clear that customer experience is at the forefront of their values as they respond to each one. We have walked all around the property where you can, the land is well laid out and you can clearly see where you are able to walk, drive, park and camp etc. The facilities have always been maintained. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and happy to answer any questions. The girls working with the horses are lovely and the guys running the quad bikes are so great with kids. We look forward to our next visit.

Would not recommend the horse riding experience ESPECIALLY if you’re first timer.
Too many kids. Not enough guides. Too much panic. Not enough instructions/briefing.
One of the instructors (girl in the photo) on Friday 29/March at the 2pm tour was extremely condescending towards the guests and paid no attention to what was going on with the crowd. She also had extremely bad attitude when asked a question from any guest, often providing a “mocking answer”. I witnessed her provide unhelpful/unfriendly comments to both kids and adults alike.
The horses were too close to each other, often causing them to be disrupted/distracted by the horse behind/infront.
Can’t speak for the other activities at Glenworth Valley but the horse riding is a big no.

I visited this place on Valentine’s Day. It was such a memorable day. The French guy ( sorry I forgot your name brother ) in the reception was very friendly and helpful and I did a mistake when I booked a campsite but I meant to book a real tent ( triangular ones near the office) . I thanked him so much because he did his best to find me a good one of triangular tent . It was my second visit and it won’t be my last for sure. We did quad biking that was also unreal and satisfying. Georgia was amazing person she is very positive and encouraging and paying so much attention to the people ( riders ). Thanks very much again guys we love you so much 👏

What a day it was! Absolutely brilliant experience! A friend and I arrive 20 mins early, got through the appropriate set up etc, then ripped in.
Our guide Dan was great as he took us on a scenic ride to start the tour, into so free time ripping around a wicked muddy track where we didn't hold back then we lucky enough to go a little further afield.
Dan was epic as a guide as we knew he was all over it and Dan knew we could ride. We came back on cloud 9 and covered in mud after a pronominal tour!!! One thing that 100% stood out to us was if you were a beginner you could still enjoy this and be well looked after however, if you can ride and you listen to you guide you can 100% rip in. a awesome day.

We love Glenworth Valley for camping, have been twice, this year and last for camping and have had the best time. The staff are very kind and the environment is beautiful! The only issue we had is the amenities, both years. This time we had no hot water and no lights in bathroom (blue gum paddock) the entire time we were there. We asked twice and were told if not enough people then the generator is not turned on. This is kinda disappointing as we paid $300 for 5 nights and expected a wee splash of hot water and maybe a light at night. Apart from that it's is a totally amazing place!!

We went for a 1.5 hours Quad bike ride and it was awesome. First I wanna say that I was upset when I did the booking online for 4 people and when you see a price of $120 you expect a flat price but when you pay, separate you have to pay helmet hire and administration fee. It was more than $50 extra and it is a lot for me. It is better if you offer a flat price that include the helmet hire and no way that any bank charge 10% for a transaction no even in international transactions. If you said $130 - $140 flat price I am happy to pay.
Second and most important Gen was our guide and he made us forget the price. He really make sure we were safe, we had fun and enjoy the scenic ride and the track time.
Also I would say the staff in general were absolutely friendly and willing to give the best service.
Thank you for the experience.

We went quad biking here, and it was so much fun for the whole family. Zoe and Ace were fantastic trainers and very patient. It sounded hard at first, but once we started on the track, it was easy and fun
Going through the scenic trail was magnificent 👌. I saw native birds too. I recommend this for a fun day out! My advice is to wear long pants and old shoes as you may get splashed with mud on the tracks. You can keep your mobile phone with you but no hats or cameras. There are lockers where you can keep your belongings. Spring drinking water is available in the area where the tracks are.

We had a great weekend at Glenworth valley where we did horse riding and kayaking. Their team is super efficient friendly and helpful. It's a great place to spend a weekend and not too far from Sydney. The running of the horses at 4.30 PM is an event not to be missed.
The only bit they could improve is their food services. Their cafe is almost non-existent with limited food items and they close by 2 PM. May not be an issue if you go there with your supplies.

Horrible experience - do not come here for horse riding. One of our trainers were extremely condescending, rude, and even lectured and got mad at us when we were all first timers. Trainers got me on the horse and told me NOTHING (I got started on the horse NOT knowing how to stop, turn or guide the horse as a first timer).
Trainers were very impatient, didn’t care much, and when children were panicking and screaming as their horses bolted, trainers saw but didn’t come help.
We had a very large group with lots of children, all first timers, all accompanied by two trainers who were inexperienced, and just chatted amongst themselves more than assisting us (one of them Sophie was nice but the other girl was a different story).
Kids were crying, screaming and even adults were panicking as horses were uncontrollable and trainers didn’t care much.
TO SUM THIS UP:
- no riders felt cared for
- no riders felt safe
- not enough trainers per group
- lack of patience and empathy for first time riders (sorry we weren’t raised riding horses like trainers are, website says is beginner friendly but certainly didn’t feel that way)

This was a well needed respite from the city. The glamping experience is definitely my style of camping, everything you need without the stress of pack up/down and has sold me on camping. Location and activities are awesome, we loved horse riding and kayaking, all staff are fantastic and I would certainly return for this reason. We paid quite a lot for site/glamping/activities, the Only hesitation for returning (and I would consider elsewhere instead) would be the 3 shower/3 toilet block used by so many campers multiple times per day , was not cleaned once the entire weekend, it was filthy and this unfortunately diminished an otherwise 5+ star experience. Thank you Glenworth valley adventures, impressive business.

Stayed here over Australia Day long weekend. A beautiful place, kids & grandkids had a great time. Watching the horses move in & out of their resting paddock every morning & afternoon was just so beautiful to see. I found definitely not enough amenities for so many people as it was a bit busy which was expected. They definitely need to have some sort of security at night as just because they say 10pm is quiet time not everyone agrees & do what they want. Some people just don’t have any camping etiquette and set up way to close when there is so much room to space out. Lovely place & will be back but not during any holiday period, maybe just a long weekend

Ground was full of horse poo, very smelly making it extremely hard to walk around unless you want to dirty your feet with horse poo. Because of it, there were SO MANY FLIES flying around. Unless you camp right next to the bathroom, you have to use your car to go to toilet which was very inconvenient. As a suggestion, it would be great idea if camping area is maintained by frequently cleaning poos or just separate the camping area so that horses cannot do poos in the camping area.
It was also very busy so if you want quiet and calming camp experience, this is not the best place.

Did the quad bike riding with a group of friends. The instructors were super helpful and personable. The quad bike track was awesome and the wet conditions made it possible to drift more than normal. Keep in mind that you spend more time riding to the track than spending time on it so try and maximise your time on the designated track as it goes by quickly. The only bad taste in the mouth was the slow and lack of urgent service at the reception. All in all, it was a good experience and would like to try other activities at this place.

Misleading Experience - Not a Family-Friendly Campground
I recently stayed at Glenworth Valley Campground with my family, hoping for a peaceful and family-friendly experience. Unfortunately, our stay was far from what was advertised. While the location is beautiful, the overall experience was marred by disruptive behavior.
The campground claims to offer a relaxed environment for like-minded families. However, during our stay from January 6-8, 2024, a few guests engaged in obnoxiously loud partying, reckless ATV riding, and disruptive music. This behavior was linked to a music festival's bump-out, which negatively impacted the peaceful atmosphere we were seeking.
Despite reaching out to the manager, and later contacting the management via email, the issues persisted. The response received acknowledged the problems but fell short in offering a satisfactory resolution. I was told the concerns would be discussed in a debrief meeting, leaving me uncertain about concrete actions being taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
It's disheartening that the actions of a few individuals can tarnish the reputation of an otherwise beautiful campground. The experience was neither relaxing nor family-friendly, and the advertised low-key camping atmosphere was nowhere to be found.
In light of these issues, I regret to say that I won't be returning to Glenworth Valley Campground. The lack of a proper response and resolution to the disturbances highlights a significant discrepancy between the advertised experience and the reality on-site. I hope this review serves as a cautionary note for families seeking a genuinely tranquil camping experience.
Fagan Park, located in Sydney's Hornsby shire, is a vast park spanning across 55 hectares that boasts an array of international themed gardens, picnic shelters and the Netherby Homestead museum. Visitors to the park can also explore its playgrounds and eco garden. The park is particularly stunning during spring when cherry blossoms are in full bloom and autumn when the deciduous trees surrounding the lake display a colorful spectacle.
Beautiful place and totally relaxing. Best for family outing. Its a huge huge park with little pond and ducks. Great place for children to run around, play and have fun. Nice small food joint as well. The only thing i felt limiting was the parking... park need to do something about it urgently. You need to wait if you go on a busy weekend.

Nice park with beautiful gardens in it. Plenty of parking for $6 a day and BBQ is $1 coin operated. Clean bathrooms available with a small coffee kiosk. There is children's playground and lots of space to do picnic and play. You can easily spend a full day there.

One of the most scenic and pleasant parks for an outing. The kids' park here is very nice, and it's huge—like, really huge—providing ample space to have a day out and enjoy the breeze. There are lots of big trees and a water area flowing amidst this place. You will find different kind of birds here. The area is just perfect for a picnic or barbecue. It's beautifully done and a clean space. I loved that it was so fresh and beautiful. I recommend this to everyone who wants a getaway but not something very far.

This is an awesome park, one of the best in greater Sydney. It's quite big and perfect for full day picnic. It's free but you do pay $6 pay and display parking. There are huge open spaces and gardens each with a small centrepiece building which represent differing nations such in the photos I've added. For example right at the back there is a Japanese style house and pond area. There is also a heritage cottage which is where the Fagan family lived and after which this park is named. There is a bunch of sheds with equipment used from colonial life all for free to look at. It's a really interesting place which can get a little bit busy on weekend but still has plenty of space for all. Don't worry if you can't get a park at the front, it's just as good to park all the way down the back. That way you can find a spot all to yourselves.

Huge Park, plenty of parking. Big playground and amenities nearby.
There is a historical house and farm to see.
Lots of individual gardens designed with a particular county in mind, Dutch, England, South America, Japanese and so on.
A real treasure to visit with the family. Many picnic and sports areas scattered throughout.
Many people walking Thier dogs on leash.
Highly recommend a visit if you haven't been here before.
Great job to all of the council workers and other parties involved in keeping this place so spectacular 😉

The park was huge and has massive playground for kids to run wild and had fun with, however, you have to pay for the car park. The park also equipped with ample amounts of tables around the playground and covered by trees, a cafe and, most importantly, it has public toilet. In overall, it was awesome place for a picnic.

Went on 21 May 2023, the leaves are in the midst of changing with a couple of trees just left with branches. We went around 3:30pm which felt could have been better if we went an hour earlier. The park is big, great for taking kids for a picnic or even a BBQ. Dogs are allowed on leashes also makes it a great day out! You do have to pay a flat fee of $6 for parking.

Amazingly scenic park with beautiful small theme gardens such as English Gardens, South American Gardens, African Gardens, etc. A small lake with ducks, and pristine clean walking paths, lush green grass and landscape, beautifully maintained. Plebty of benches and even covered areas with seating and tables, perfect for small groups for picnic. Ample parking $6.00 upto 7.00 pm. Gates close sharp at 7.00pm, so do plan your day accordingly.

Great place for a day out. It has nice open grounds with a section of trees from different continents and countries. The lake is beautiful and ducks keep kids occupied for some time. There are barbeque areas and picnic tables. There is a play area for kids. Toilets were kept clean. There is a toilet at the ends. The park is over a huge area. You would need a one full day to cover the whole park leisurely. There is a parking fee if you want to park close to the park. If you are ok to walk an extra 250 metres you will get free parking.

Themed garden. I appreciate the truth of Australia tin house that I have first time seen in person. It’s more like an open shelter that you can walk in and hide from the weather.
The Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan is a vast botanical garden spanning 416 hectares, situated in the vicinity of Mount Annan between Camden and Campbelltown. The gardens boast an abundance of natural woodland, colorful blooms, and open spaces. Visitors can enjoy exploring the garden on its wide and flat paths that weave through various areas, including grassy hills perfect for rolling down. Families can take advantage of free entry to picnic shelters, barbecues, and a playground with an excellent flying fox.
Don't forget to bring your camera!
Enjoyed playing national geographic reporter there for a while!
It's a birdland paradise out there.
Great healthy, cheap, creative AND physically active hobby that is nature photography!
One must come at least once a season to see and notice the changes!

The Australian Botanic Garden is just beautiful. We went for a walk around the flower garden in the centre near the information area and it was lovely looking at all the species of plants. It’s well maintained. The gift shop has some love lovely items, good for some presents. The picnic areas that can be hired are great. We had a 3rd birthday party at one of the shelters and there was plenty of space for games, a bbq lunch, and it was private.

Park located south West Sydney. Really nice place to do walks and have a picnic.
The park here is awesome so many paths and can even summit Mt annan itself.
With regards to the summit walk try to approach from Western side as the path is sorta safe. The eastern side isn't marked well and has a couple of orange cones at the entrance and felt a little pracarious.
The woodland walk was great need to come back again and go to the other building in the area.
I hear weekends can get pretty busy but weekdays were not too full had some school kids on excursions.

Good place for a family outing and picnic. Compared to any other picnic spots this place is not anything extraordinary. The one way road often makes you go round and round. It would be good find a map of everything it has to offer. We could only see few shaded area and all of those were occupied we just went to have a picnic so my review totally based on a picnic and bbq spot not for people considering to visit for botanical garden perspective.

Really loved visiting the Botanic Gardens. We took a picnic but there is a lovely little Cafe here and the visitors shop is great.
Plenty of parking, BBQ's, benches and lots to explore. Well designed paths to follow to see lots of flowers /plants/ trees for all abilities and also a mountain bike track.
Toilets and bubbles all around the park and if you want to park or go somewhere more quiet then follow the road further around the loop.

Surrounded by trees and beautiful flowers, I highly recommend this place. You will find beautiful trail for walking and also barbecue slots along with picnic bench. There is play area for kids, which is poorly maintained but still usable. Public toilets and parking available so good place to visit.

The Australian Botanical Gardens situated on 416 hectares of land in Mount Annan (Yandel'ora) with 4000 different plant species and is home to the Australian Plant Bank. It was opened on 2 Oct 1988 and was originally part of the land granted to magistrate William Howe. There such a diverse array of beautiful plants, shrubs, ponds, sculptures and lakes for the flora and fauna. Has very wide concrete paths that are easy to traverse in the lower parts but quite steep in other sections. The gardens are gorgeous any of year and very well maintained. It is especially beautiful in Spring with its renown Wild flower display of paper daisies usually in yellow white and pink colours. The garden has many areas for picnics some with BBQ facilities. There is so much to explore in this wonderful garden.

The information centre is great and the staff are really friendly. There are many different walks you can take differing in difficulty. There's also plenty of accessible walks which are easy with a pram or a wheelchair.

Every year, I come here to see the paper daisy in springtime. I love this botanical garden; it is unbelievably big and has so many picnic areas and BBQ facilities.
This year, there are some safety nets on the paper daisy gardens. I understand that they are for protecting the flowers as some people go inside the garden bed for photography. However, these nets have destroyed the beauty of the blooming flowers. The pictures I took looked ridiculous and so ugly.

Very beautiful if you go at the right time. There are some rare and good varieties of flowers. There is a shop, cafe, toilets, picnic area, playground, and more.
The parking gets full very quickly but there's plenty of overflow parking. The cafe also had a long queue so we gave up trying it. The planted and well maintained areas are quite small compared to the whole botanical garden lands.

I had heard about this place but had never been here before. Yes, if you can believe it, this was my first time visiting the Mt Annan botanical gardens. What a beautiful area. Heaps more to explore. But for now, I'll just tell you about our visit to the Gardens cafe. Upon entering the cafe, we were shown to a table on the covered verandah. Menus and cold water were provided. Not long after our food and beverage orders were made, my coffee arrived. Only a few minutes after that, all our remaining orders arrived. Really prompt service!
I had egg benedict with smoked salmon & a cappuccino. Nice. The only criticism was that the knives supplied were quite blunt, which made consuming our meals difficult. Apart from that, all good. A lovely venue, clean, interesting views, tasty food, good coffee, and great service.
Raging Waters Sydney is a waterpark that offers a variety of rides, slides and attractions for all ages. The park is large and includes a lazy river with tubes, beach area and surfing area.
Great park for all the family. Food outlets offered the standard stuff IE hit dogs etc etc, but at reasonable prices.
Facilities all very clean with loads of staff making sure all was well. The day we went it was not that busy so ride waiting was short. Water rides for all the family.
I would recommend the park for any family for a great day out.
PS we had a group that had kids from 4 to 6 and they had a fantastic time .

First time at Raging Waters an easy 40 min drive from the southern suburbs. We chose to go on the Easter long weekend which meant shorter wait times, excellent parking (which you pay for) and a great day! It felt like more slides than Jamberoo. The different towers were easy to locate and it was a short walking distance between each tower and each ride providing a good thrill! Great seating available at each tower to watch and wait for other family and friends and awesome grassed areas to chill at lunch. Staff were all friendly and helpful. With the 2 person rides you had to carry the tube up the stairs which was tricky but manageable. Some of the rides could do with some maintenance with leaks and rusted bracketing holding the pipe work which didn't help the nerves when walking up the stairs but all in all we all had a fantastic time and we'll probably return with a bigger group next time but wouldn't be keen to go in its peak season!

I’ve been to many water parks around the world and this one is beautiful. There are a lot of fun attractions and a decent size kids area. The wave pool is massive and the staff was very friendly!
If you’re have an odd number of people in your group or coming solo, be warned there are not a lot of slides where you can ride alone.

My first visit to this place and I think we picked a good day to do it. Smaller crowds due to an overcast day which kept the wait times down. Some of the rides need more staff as this will surely bring the wait times down on all rides. Food was the usual expensive fast fare but the cost for the unlimited slushys were my kids favourite. As we brought a season pass we will be back, so we will see how busy this place can get

Ride n slides were awesome.
Suitable for all ages.
Lockers are a little expensive.
Food outlets only accept credit card.
Staff are friendly.
Food was average at best. Bring your own food if possible.
Parking was included with the Platinum season pass.
Update: The park seems to be overun with young eshays now. Hopefully the park takes this seriously and puts on extra security to discourage anti-social behaviour.

Awesome place for kids and family, highly recommended.
A friend have a yearly pass for the whole family of 4 people so we just came along. It would be great if opening after school hours during week days so that kids can come here for little fun before doing their homework and dinner or just go for a swim but under the safety, staffing and costs to open.
My niece so much enjoy it, she had a fun time here coz in New Zealand (Auckland) doesn’t it. Great living in Oz land 🥰

It's reasonably priced for a theme park, the place is well-staffed and maintained for most of the part. There are lots of shades and areas for rest. Popular rides can have a long wait and the lack of proper shower facilities keeps it from being a five-star.

Fun day out for family of 4, especially for teens as plenty of large ride options. Great smaller versions for younger kids too. Tickets were $55 each (purchase online), then add family size locker $20 and parking $12 (no free parking options). We went on a cooler day (22°) in April school holidays and no waiting lines at all which was fantastic. Plenty of people wearing wetsuits, would do same next time. Note almost all rides need a minimum of 2 people. All rides have a mat or inflatable tube. Wave pool great. Approx 5 slides closed, but didn't make a difference to the day. Recommend you BYO food and water. Limited healthy onsite options. Easily filled a whole day from 10-4pm. Very friendly and helpful satff. Recommend a visit.

Fun time with the whole family especially with young kids. Splash and ride the water slides, catch waves and swim in pools. Plenty of car space. Two complaints I have is the long wait for the big rides and food prices but still a great theme park to visit.

Our family had an adventurous day at Raging Waters Sydney, filled with excitement and fun on the rides. The variety of attractions provided thrills for everyone. However, the crowded conditions were a bit challenging, limiting us to six rides in eight hours. Despite the crowds, the enjoyment we experienced on the rides made the trip worthwhile. Planning for a less busy day in the future might enhance the overall experience. Overall, a memorable day of family fun

Purchased season passes for summer and autumn school holiday. Went on a Saturday of school holiday for the first time at 10:30am. Got in within an hour. We brought our own food since I know their food is expensive. Showers have preset temperature. I'm fine with everything else. Our kids (7 and 9yo) love the place. We stayed there for nearly 7 hours.

The experience I had with my family was very disappointing to say the least. We paid $80 each to get in only to see each ride has a 1 hour waiting time minimum not too mention the 50 minute waiting time for food. The only way to enjoy your day is to spend an EXTRA $110 to get the fast pass, which still has a 25 minute waiting time. This is all due to the staff and their unorganised way of working and managing the lines, and can be easily fixed.

We had a wonderful experience at raging waters with our four-year-old. The facilities were really clean, and the staff were very attentive on every single ride. There was a lot of different activities for kids of all ages, and the pricing was very affordable. The raging waters. Junior area was amazing. The only thing we would like to have seen is the staff at the ice cream parlour wearing gloves, and adding the spoon in manually, instead of having to put our hands Into a communal spoon basket for hygiene reasons. Apart from that, the lockers were very affordable at $12 for the standard size, and we truly appreciated the post Covid cashless payment system at all outlets.

A poor man's version of Wet and Wild or Jamberoo on a rich man's salary.
After paying Adult price for my 9 year old son because he's over 110cm we had the privilege of paying for parking also, because heaven forbid you get to park for free; this is Sydney.
After parking up in the derelict smack head car park complete with used nappies, litter and god knows what else, we entered the park at 10:00 on an overcast and quiet January morning.
Another $20 for a locker and we hit the rides. Four slides in and my son and I hit the lacklustre wave pool where we bobbed up and down in 1m of water for 2 minutes before getting out to figure what next?
We had a Cheeseburger combo each which made us feel nauseous as we watched a cleaner scoop up someone elses partially digested combo meal and decided to call it a day by 12:30.
If you can't get to a beach, try a swimming pool or the Penrith Beach. The slides are all pretty much the same. If you can afford to go here, you can afford better. Save your money.
Matthew Lees — Google review
I worked at raging waters last season in food and beverage so I can assure right now the best time to go is away from the January school holiday due to the immense amount of people who want to cool down in summer, I'd recommend going further towards narch or April if you aren't willing to buy fast track which again from a personal point of view is very expensive. Food is also really expensive in general and even with discounts sure it's cheaper but it's still not the cheapest. But with no other alternatives and when fresh the food is very good in the park. Rides in the summer time have unfathomably long lines which is again why I'd choose to go later in the season but the slides are fun to go down. I'd definitely recommend going there but I'd try to go at a time with maybe a little drizzle and further from summer.

We were looking for a day trip to a farm for my little girl age 2.5. Calmsley Hill City Farm is perfect size to walk around and great collection of animals. We bought annual passes and have been going every few weeks, worth the money! Must experience: tractor ride, koala padding, feeding lambs and goats, caw milking and saying hello to one of the cockatoos who says hello back! We normally bought our own lunch and snack and buy ice creams or ice blocks from the cafe in the farm. I find the staff in cafe nice and polite but the menu is limited. There are plenty sittings and shades. Play ground and BBQ facilities as well. Saw few birthday parties held there. Highly recommended!

Really nice day out with the family. The farm is very well looked after and the animals look so happy. The entry price is fair as the money goes back into the animals and the price for the train tickets and animal feed is all reasonable. Plenty of parking too! Lots of animals to feed and be hands on with, also some shows/talks throughout the day.
The cafe has nice food and snacks, plenty of seating areas and a kids playground. The farm isn’t huge so it’s not exhausting to walk around to all the areas. Really lovely place, couldn’t fault it at all.

I am impressed. This is such a great little adventure for the kids and parents alike AND pram friendly!. Kids under 10 would very much enjoy the hands on with all the animals. Touching, patting, feeding they love it! The food at the cafe is very reasonably priced burger with chips and drink $14.50, compared to other places charging over $20. I loved that my 2yr old could run around the whole place and I didn't have to worry about her getting out or going into something she shouldn't. The kids equipment In the middle is also a great spot for them to run around and parents can relax and watch from them every angle! I will be back!

Had a very fun experience today! Was there from 1030am - 230pm (4hrs should be enough) Saw mostly parents bringing their little ones, but it is still very enjoyable for a family of 4 with older kids! Wide variety of animals and even a nursery to pet and feed freely with no fence. Bag of feed is $2 and tractor ride is $3/person. Abit on the pricey side
Gail — Google review
Fantastic experience for children and adults alike. The tractor ride was a hit and so was the cow milking experience for children. Cows, camel, donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, horse, peacock, chooks, ducks and a lot of them. Very friendly staff. Must see for city people.

A cozy farm with a decent amount of farm animals. Sadly some of them were caged in a small place not much for them to roam around. They also have attractions for the children to engage with the animals. My daughter loves the tractor ride especially! The staffs are friendly, the place is well maintained and clean. So happy to find out this place and only 30 mins from my place. The only downside is the ticket price can be a little pricey for a small farm compared to a zoo ticket price.

We had an amazing day at Calmsley Hill City Farm! The kids were thrilled with interactive animal experiences, and we appreciated the educational aspects. The variety of activities kept everyone engaged, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. A perfect family outing that combines fun and learning – we'll definitely be back!

Good place to visit with kids and spend half a day at the farm. You can feed the animals, milk cows and take the tractor ride. The Cafe is pretty good and can get affordable food. There is a small kids park inside as well.

Featherdale Wildlife Park is known for its koalas, as well as other Australian native wildlife. The park is located in inner Western Sydney and takes 45 minutes to reach from Sydney.
Very nice place to go for a walk and enjoy the nature with the animals. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the different varieties of animals at this location. You also have a very nice cafe inside to take a short break. You can also feed animals inside this place. This is a great location for kids to enjoy as well

Easily the best wildlife sanctuary in Australia that we have been to. This place is amazing, so much range of animals especially birds! Truly beautiful, you can tell how well the animals are looked after. I think my partner and I have come here at least 6 times the last few years and we will continue to support this treasure

Absolutely loved my visit to Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The variety of animals was incredible, and the park's commitment to conservation and education really shines through. I was thrilled to get up close and personal with kangaroos, koalas, and even some adorable wallabies. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. The park's clean and well-maintained facilities made the visit comfortable, and I appreciate the efforts they put into creating a safe and enriching environment for the animals. I can't wait to come back and explore more of this wonderful wildlife haven! 🦘🐨🦙 #FeatherdaleWildlifePark #AmazingExperience

Loved our visit! Staff were all nice and we enjoyed learning about the animals. Got to pat the koalas 🐨, feed kangaroos 🦘, and hold a baby croc 🐊! If you want to get close and learn about Australian native wildlife I highly recommend.
Would recommend if you want the encounters to buy tickets in advance.
Also, this is great stop on the way to blue mountains if you’re heading that direction to check off tourist attractions.

Featherdale Sydney wildlife park has a lot of different and unique animals. Upon entering it is possible to purchase some food for the animals and throughout the park it is possible to feed wallabies and kangaroos. I would recommend arriving at the park at opening time as this is when the animals are most active and eager for food. On the website it is possible to book wildlife encounters which is definitely recommended if you want a private and hands on experience with the different animals. The staff are friendly and informative. Throughout the day they also have feedings where staff will talk about the different animals whilst feeding them. It is a great wildlife park to visit.

This is one of my FAVOURITE places in Sydney. I am so lucky to live locally. The animals are well cared for and the opportunities to get involved with some of the animals is amazing.
It is not a huge park which works well for me and the kids. The layout is nice and easy to get around and you can be sure that you will not miss anything as you walk around.
I brought my 18 month old son for the first time and he was over the moon. The animals are great with smaller children and were very gentle when feeding out of my sons feeding cup.
I highly recommend visiting Featherdale if you ever get the chance to do so.

We had fun going here. It's not a huge wildlife sanctuary compare to others, which is good for those who don't want to get tired walking.
The best part was our close encounter with the kangaroos and koalas! You will be able to feed the kangaroos and touch them as long as you want. Except for the koalas, you need to pay extra fee to touch them... but you will be able to see them up close too.

A compact zoo experience. Easy to get around. Great value for families. Close encounters with different animals. Loved the koalas! Well worth the visit!

My recent visit to Featherdale Wildlife Zoo was an absolute delight, exceeding all expectations and earning a well-deserved five-star rating. This wildlife sanctuary provided a truly immersive and unforgettable experience.
Feather dale Wildlife Zoo boasts an impressive range of Australian animals, giving visitors a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the country's most fascinating creatures. From kangaroos and koalas to crocodiles and Tasmanian devils, the diversity of wildlife at Featherdale is truly remarkable.
The enclosures at Featherdale were thoughtfully designed, allowing the animals to thrive in naturalistic environments. It was heartwarming to witness the excellent care provided to each animal, and it was evident that their welfare was of utmost importance.
The highlight of my visit was the opportunity to encounter and interact with some of the animals firsthand. Feeding the kangaroos was an incredible experience. The chance to have a close encounter with native reptiles left me with unforgettable memories.
Featherdale Wildlife Zoo also prioritizes visitor comfort and enjoyment. The layout of the zoo was well-planned, with clear signage and ample seating areas. Clean facilities and well-maintained paths added to the overall positive experience.

I really like this place! Great variety of birds and Australian animals. Perfect for overseas visitors wanting to experience Australian animals. Avoid weekends and school holidays of you can they get busy. Today I went at 11am on a Wednesday and there wasn't many people there at all.
Staff are friendly and welcoming.

This is the place to go to in order to see, interact with, and experience animals endemic to Australia.
The park has open areas where kangaroos and wallabies are able to roam around, and you can feed them and run their fur or forehead. Entrance fees are reasonably priced, and they have animal food available for purchase at the entrance. It is amazing to see the animals up close and personal and to have them eat out of your hands. It is easy to navigate around the park and they have these little stamps you can use after seeing an animal to mark your ticket/passport.
Toilets were clean and the entire park itself is well-maintained.
Food can be brought inside the park, but they also have a cafe that can be found near the exit of the park.

A nice little wildlife park with a lot of Australian animals like Kangaroos, Wallabies, Wombats, Dingos etc. They have many birds, some snakes and reptiles also few farm animals such as cows and goats. The park itself is not too big so it's really easy to navigate around and have a good time without sweating. There are facilities such as toilets, hand washing station and a Cafe. You can enjoy this on your way to Blue Mountain.
Darshana Perera — Google review
For one, you can collect stamps here! For two, that's a serious lot of birds! Among them many are rarely seen in any other zoo in Sydney. I wish the website could say more about it. Definitely give it a go if you are a bird lover. Apart from birds, there were many koalas, reptiles, our familiar Australian mammals, and farm animals, too. The park is not huge, but the space is efficiently used, so you still need to walk a fair bit to see all the animals. Lastly, the cafe serves great burgers and chips. Overall a fantastic experience!

I’ve visited this place a few times now and have an annual membership and I always love visiting. The pelican feeding at 11am is always a treat to watch. My favourite animals to make sure I see each visit is one of their galahs who says “scratch scratch” and “whatchyou doing” while it bobs it’s head up and down and a gentle giant hen who always escapes the barnyard sea and free ranges all day long. There are two black cockatoos that always fly to their aviary fence to come say hi and demand scratches on their feet and head. Featherdale’s extensive range of native birds is absolutely incredible. I’m fortunate to live nearby and visit often as I can. It never gets boring. The staff that work there are always friendly and happy to answer your questions. The cafe also does the best hot chips (aka fries)
H?rrem Akta? — Google review
Busy but good.. you used to be able to take photos with the koalas as part of the entrance, now they charge extra and won't allow you to take a slightly different photo without charging double.. so a tad disappointing that they just keep milking as much money as possible.
Love the Aussie wildlife, they look well fed and healthy.
The birds look a bit sad to be stuck in the cages but also healthy and well.
The staff were friendly and helpful

Great variety of Australian animals and opportunities to interact! Overall, nice place with extremely helpful staff. Bit difficult to get to if you don’t have a car and there are limited parking spaces.
reese espirit — Google review
Not the best experience and very expensive ($40). There's not a lot to see, and what there is to see is behind layers of wired cages. Any photos you see that people took, it's almost certainly when their camera is positioned between the holes in the wire cages. Most of the animals are very far from view, and the only ones you can interact with are goats. There was one wombat and one kangaroo that was accessible, and people were so starving for entertainment, that everyone was gathered around it trying to feed it and touch it. I came here 14 years ago, and it was so fun. They had so many kangaroos walking around that you could walk right up to and feed, a huge tortoise eating carrots, dingo pups... everything seemed so accessible. But now it's seems like everything is super protected and very limited. A bird sleeping in a tree about 6 metres away from you and up high - yawn. My advice is... go nuts on wombats and kangaroos and flood the place with them. Let's face it, that's really what we want to see... they are entirely an Australian thing and fun to interact with.

This was by far my best experience while in Australia. It is one of the places about one hour drive from Sydney that you can feed and get close to a Koala. It is about 150 dollars to spend about 20 minutes in an enclosure. You need to make reservations in advance. The park itself was amazing too. You got to see lots of other cool animals and pet Kangaroos. It was small intimate place that was not crowded and just perfect. It was a must and I highly recommend a visit.

I visited Featherdale Park with my one-year-old son and we had a wonderful time. The park is home to koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and penguins. We got to hand-feed some of the animals and even pat a koala. The staff were friendly and informative, and the park was clean and well-maintained. It was a great way to experience the wildlife. I highly recommend Featherdale Park for anyone looking for a fun and educational day out with the family.

Amazing place with various endemic species in AU or NZ. Not much visitors in weekdays, and the staffs are friendly as well.
A bit far away from CBD but still easy to get here as a first-time visitor.
Recommend to buy tickets at kkday in advance, the prices are better!

Loved coming here. The kangaroos and wallabies aren’t caged so you can pet and feed them up close. There’s a bunch of koalas around the park for you to encounter and many birds and owls are around too. There’s much more to see as well. A cafe is present and facilities are located around the park for ease. It’s best to visit around 11am when most of the animals start to come out. Fantastic experience!

I thought this place was fantastic, much better than the Sydney Zoo, for example. You can get close up to many of the animals, feed them from your hand, etc. And it wasn't overly crowded. There are plenty of trees to provide shade on warm/hot days. I loved walking around the different areas and easily seeing the wildlife that was there. I highly, highly recommend this place for seeing Australian (and other) wildlife, many that are there because they were injured and brought there.
Larry Willis — Google review
Great for kids and adult. They have alot of birds, different species so perfect for bird lovers. I suppose that's obvious from the name Highlight was learning about the Koalas. They are the cutest awkwardly interesting laziest animal. You can get really close to the kangaroos and feed them. The Kangaroo feed is very affordable. Give yourself minimum 2hours to enjoy.
Adeshola Gbademosi — Google review
You can touch and take lots of photos with these beautiful creatures.
Buy a cup of popcorn at the counter for $4. Maybe 2. You can feed it to the kangaroos, which is very cool.
One tip: most people get stuck at the first few cages, go to the back of the farm, there are many kangaroos roaming around, feed them and take as many photos as you want. Most of the time, it is less crowded because everyone is at the front busy taking photos of the caged animals.
Pasindu Ranasinghe — Google review
Definitely a visit, if you want to see Kangaroo, Koala, Wombat, Pelicans, Emu at once.
For those prefer to have a koala picture, here is the right place and strongly suggest you join some group tour to have lower price ticket plus koala photography. You can decide on spot whether you pay extra to have digital copy.
Zookeepers are very friendly, kangaroos every where stepping up and down around you.
Family friendly environment beautiful place great day out

When I first planned my trip to Sydney & blue mountains, I came across on this website and this became my MUST DO list. When you travel with your parents in their late 60s, a husband and a 6 years old, the challenge to find an activity that everyone can enjoy become way harder. This experience seemed like everyone can easily enjoy, so I booked it in advance. After spending 3 days in blue mountains, we stop by at this place on the way to Sydney, and everyone in the group loved this activity. Natasha was an amazing person leading the experience and she was very attentive, kind, and professional. We arrived at the premises 30 min early, but Tash and her crews were all very friendly and nice. The activities were very engaging and Tash's funny explanations made the entire day even better. Tea making, trying out bread and billy tea, boomerang & leash demonstration, sheep shearing, every single activity were very interesting and the bbq lunch was delicious. My little one fell in love with sheepdogs, especially with Sky and even my parents had a great time seeing her granddaughter shearing a sheep and tasting foods. Thank you, Tash, for such a great memory!!

Bare-bones rooms in a straightforward property with a casual steak bistro featuring a game area.
We thought the room was expensive when we booked however when we opened the door it has been a long time since we both said 👌wow we walked into one of the most time inspired rooms fitting of the era of history and slept so well. The staff down stairs looked after our stay so well and met all our request with enthusiasm. The meals were of generous servings. Hubby and I decided to take a Sunday afternoon drive and stopped into the pub for an early dinner. I had the chicken schnitzel with mash and veg which was absolutely delicious! Hubby ordered steak, which was overcooked as he ordered medium rare, but came out almost well done. He said it wasn't totally terrible, but not the way he likes his steak cooked. Staff in the bistro could be a little more proactive by greeting you when you walk to the counter, rather than standing there in silence looking out the door and waiting for you to talk to them. Over all our experience was relatively good.

Fantastic deck with a Big TV looking out over Wisemans Ferry. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was generous and tasty. They are reliant on a pump for water so if there is a blackout things get interesting. The rooms are convenient but very small and the mattresses are very tired

This afternoon I came in with my son and it was our first time eating here at the pub. I went up to the counter to order food and this horrible, old, mean, woman decided to be rude for no reason at all! I was so put off by her attitude that I decided to only order food my son so we could get out of there quicker. While ordering food I asked if I could get a Coke as well and she said drinks are not served here and that I'll have to go up to the bar and get them. I said okay then she asked me "If I understand". Not sure why she thought I wouldn't understand..
I then went back to the table my son was waiting for me at and said we have to go get a drink from the bar area as I couldn't leave him sitting there alone, at that time she was standing behind a us listening to me speak to him quickly ran up and Infront of us and started pointing at the sign saying no under 18s allowed in the bar (as if I cannot read and don't know the laws here) when I did go into the bar to get the drink she decided to serve me and continue to belittle me the whole time. By the time we got drinks and went back to eat my child was already put off his meal after seeing the way she treated us. Won't be back again
Not sure why she is such a miserable old hag but she did a good job at ruining our weekend away.

We went there for lunch today Wednesday 27th March, few people already sitting having lunch and no one else at the counter for order's I ask the girl for a rump eggs and bacon and nothing else, it was such a drama as the till wouldn't allow her to proceed unless she put in chips or chips n veg or chips and salad, I told her I can't eat anything else at the moment so she put in chips to proceed then added an egg $2.50, bacon $2.50 $33.00 thanks, I said fine but leave the chips off. 20 minuets latter our buzzer went off and this is what I got. A 100-gram rump an egg a small bit of bacon and half a kilo of chips, would have been so easier for the server to turn her head around to the 2 cooks and ask if they could full fill my order to me needs as they weren't busy but no instead I got this. You got my $33.00 this time but don't wait for another cent from me. I wouldn't recommend this pub to anyone

Historic and definitely has an olde world charm but in my opinion it is dying for some tender loving care. It's a bit tired. The children's area has so much potential with a gorgeous green lawn but not much else. A cute tractor that kids can climb on but I wouldn't call it a playground. I think years back pre-covid, there was a jumping castle and a petting zoo but nothing of the sort today. The food was normal pub food, the staff were friendly, the view off the deck is beautiful so all-in-all, a good lunch out but it could have been so much better with not much more effort from the establishment.

Tonight, I ordered my food at the counter and paid for the food. The waitress advised me that it may take an hour for our order to be ready for pickup. But after an hour when I came to the counter to see when our food is ready, I saw that the kitchen is closed and staff are cleaning the kitchen with no food for us. I asked the waitress about why we didn’t receive our food and she stated that our order is missed. She started to explain the situation with no apologizing. My wife said the waitress that she should at least say sorry about this situation. This made me humiliated as everybody is eating the dinner and we had to wait for ours. We, finally, received our food when the restaurant is almost closed and nobody else was there. I’m so disappointed and won’t go to this restaurant anymore.

So looking forward to lunch today. I am so disappointed with the meal. We ordered two rump steaks, one medium and the other medium -well done. Received one medium-well done and the other almost cremated. Microwaved mashed potato just warm. Gravies were just warm. Looking into the kitchen the salads are being put on the plates and chips being arranged with bare hands. So, I guess this supposed Icon of Wisemans is turning into a failure. PM me if you wish and I will nominate the culprits. Otherwise CYA

Had a Parma the chicken was good but the tomato base was a bit plain and full of onion. The cheese was good.
The chips were good too. The salad was a bit small but had a little red wine vinaigrette that made for a nice touch.

Typical bistro fare dished up in a renovated church with wooden tables & an outdoor dining area.
We stopped in for lunch and ordered the calamari and prawn and Avo salad. The seafood was cooked perfectly and I have no idea what the prawns were marinated in but I could drink that by the bucket load! I am posting this review the following morning.
Beautiful venue. Prompt service. We had 4 adults and two children seated at a perfectly large table with a bench seat.
Unfortunately the food was very average at a premium price. To add to the already disappointing meal….the kids nuggets were grey offal.
I understand that children are not your target customer but surely families are. Traditionally I would never leave a restaurant without stacking my dishes neatly and thanking the staff (even if it is just a wave from afar) as a sign of respect and courtesy to the people in the service industry. I had to say to my family and guest “come on let’s go”. I was so disappointed that ‘creating a scene’ by being truthful would not have given me any satisfaction.
A restaurant is only as good as its last meal and this was my last meal at this venue. Sincerely thank you for the wonderful memories from the past that gave me reason to recommend the Church Bar to friends and family. Sadly that will not happen anymore.

Great place and a big place, right on the foothold of the Blue Mountains, lots of walking tracks ranging from medium to difficult in terms of difficulty level, few to mention are Jelly Bean Pool wall, Blue Pool walk and Redhand walk. Really beautiful and well maintained place. Fantastic cider. Friendly Alpacas for the kids. Not much in the food department. But it's not a cafe or restaurant. 5 stars nevertheless. Would have loved a woodfire pizza or a schnitzel instead they only had BBQ pork roll with slaw. Was really Bland but ciders were delicious.

Upon arrival, we received a happy welcoming from the staff and received a brief tour. We received a picnic basket containing a whole chicken, salad, cheese, and bread rolls. Also received picnic supplies: plates, cutlery, napkins.
The food was plenty, tasty and fresh. Plenty for 2 people. We anticipated this and brought our take away boxes with us.
We ordered 2x cider tasting paddles. We tasted all of the non-alcoholic and a couple of the alcoholic ciders.
After tasting , we made our choices and purchased cases of cider from their store. We received 10% discount on our cider cases at the store.
There is a good walking area where we saw sheep, goat, llama, bees.
Service was very helpful and staff were welcoming and friendly. Let us borrow their equipment to transport the cider cases to our vehicle.

First time trying Bilpin’s apple cider. Bought 6 packs for $22. Picked the non-alcoholic cider and it taste really good. Raspberry is my favs. Unfortunately testing is no longer available. So you have to go to the bar and buy some.
The location is beautiful. You can order food, chill and taste amazing ciders. Will definitely buy kore in the future. They do online order and shipping

Was great returning after a year, for a relaxing cheese platter and apple pie! Plenty of space to spread out, and enjoy a picnic. Owner was happy to have a chat, and let us know about seeing the alpacas. The new extension, looks fantastic!

Love this place!! The property itself was easy to locate. You can bring your pets with you to try their different ciders. This place is pet friendly and they have a beautiful outdoor area with tables or a large grass area where you can have your picnic mat lay there for you to enjoy a beautiful sunny day! You can take a nice stroll around their property where you'll see alpacas and other farm animals. This place is kid friendly and pet friendly. It is only an hour and a half drive from Sydney. Will definitely come back again

Love coming to Bilpin Cider, and every time I come it’s more beautiful. The ciders are delicious. My favourite is the blush. Great selection from the cellar door to order take always. There’s a lovely spot to sit out in the trees and have a drink and nibble on one of the tasting plates or have an apple pie. Well worth a visit.

What a fabulous experience this was!! We had a lovely hour on the magnificent terrace overlooking a great garden. Lovely people with great customer service, whilst walking in the garden, encouraged by the owner, my aunt kissed an alpaca, absolutely made her day. These are just genuine people with a passion for making excellent cider. My uncle spilled his coffee and they remade it for free. The cider was also great, the tasting paddle was $20, for 4 small glasses with something for everyone, and even a pink lady cider. The cloudy cider was delicious as was the coffee and apple pie. We bought some cider to take home and the most delicious honey, no big push to buy, just great service. Highly recommend.

Love Love Love the Bilpin Cider. Both the Alcoholic and Non Alcoholic are so good. They range from dry to sweet. Something for everyone’s taste. We have had a lot of different craft ciders and this is the best ever ! The location is beautiful as are the grounds ! I wish I could tell you which cider to select. We did a tasting and then bought a few of each. From sweet to dry. Alcohol and non alcohol. They were all fragrant and tasty.

Nicely set amongst their fields with a nice bar and food options available. Table seating was available but it wasn't a picnic area and visits would probably last up to 1 hour since you can't go to the actual orchards. Would definitely suggest trying a taster paddle whilst there. They are very generous in filling the cups of ciders to the top.
Serene Teh — Google review
Nice place to visit and taste a variety of ciders, grab some morning tea, lunch or have a picnic in the grounds. They have both non-alcoholic and alcoholic ciders on offer. Staff are friendly. Plenty of parking, disabled parking also available. Top car park fills up quickly in the morning but there is an overflow parking further down the road. You can't leave until you try the apple pie! Delish :)

Nice Cidar | Great Ambiance
I tried Cidar tasting with my family (Now I feel I should gone for full bottles but maybe next time). The place is great with lots of options to eat. It’s located on the main road. Plenty of non-alcoholic options to suit your palette

Really nice cider. We liked all the ones we tried. We did the standard paddle and bought the bottles of the others.
Good service. Nice garden to sit in and have a drink.
Pie was lovely - on the dearer side at $11 per piece.
Preferred the ciders at this place to Hillbilly, so if you can only do one, I recommend this one. The service at Hillbilly was friendlier though and the big tent and truck were interesting to see.
The garden at Bilpin was lovely to sit in and the kids happily climbed in the trees.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Bilpin Cider 🍺! They serve both Alcoholic and Non Alcoholic cider ranging from dry to sweet (was so delicious). 🤤 The garden view is absolutely stunning and is such a good way to start the day! 🌅 The staff were very friendly and accommodating in helping us choose the cider, they are also so generous in filling the cider to the absolute top! 💕The food menu is very simple, however the fish and chips is definitely a highlight🍟! My favourite cider was definitely the blood orange cider or the raspberry! 🍊

Wentworth Falls is a serene town nestled in the heart of the Blue Mountains, New South Wales. It's about 100 kilometers west of Sydney and offers a peaceful escape surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. The area is known for its lush bushland, magnificent waterfalls, and numerous hiking trails. Visitors can explore charming cafes, art galleries, and shops while immersing themselves in the tranquility of this picturesque destination.
The Leura Cascades Picnic Area is a recreational spot surrounded by beautiful nature featuring various walking tracks leading to several small waterfalls and cliff views. Though the walking track from Katoomba is closed due to a landslide, there is an alternate route available to reach Leura. The area offers an easy walking track suitable for kids and provides a tranquil environment with the sounds of water, wind, and nature.
Huge place to have picnic , nice environment and view

What’s going on with this area? It’s been closed for road traffic for a couple of years! 😠 It’s Jan ‘23 and it’s been poorly maintained with high grass and don’t expect to see what they show you in the brochures!!!😡 Want a picnic? Bring the mower and have the snake handler on speed-dial! It’s nothing like want it used to be. ☹️

The tittle walk to the cascades was nice. The kids enjoyed it. But the picnic area was under maintenance when we got there due to recent bad weather.
It's worth a visit when you are around the area but I wouldn't travel all the way just to visit that place.

It is a walk of 15-20 min down the hill all along the cascades. It has quite a few steps so please be mindful if you have difficulty in climbing steps. The views of the cascade all the way is really great and the final lookout is just beautiful. This final lookout is not visible but it is just a few metres if you keep going after the end of cascades.

A nice and quite place. Easily accessible by public transport, this area does not see too many tourists. But those who skips this place, probaly miss the best place of blue mountain. Do not end your journey at cascade and vist the fountain. If possible you may go further down and visit tiwards leura forest and towards giant stairway.

One of the best hiking tracks in the blue mountains. Not so many tourists and the waterfall is really nice from the bottom. I would highly recommend this track for relaxing and beautiful views.

It's a fantastic day-long hiking track with some of the beautiful and less crowded lookout to the blue mountains scenaries. Bear in mind, though, it is quite a hard trail (steep, a fair few stairs etc) if you choose more difficult trails from different options getting around the walking tracks.

What a lovely place to stop for a picnic lunch on our way back home from the Blue mountains. I only wish I'd had my better camera to take photos worthy of printing. I'll surely be back again to see if I can capture views of the cascade in different light and time of day.

Beautiful walk from Katoomba, however, the walking track is closed from half way due to landslide and work needed to be done by National Parks & Wildlife Dept.

Echo Point Lookout, also known as Three Sisters, is a popular tourist attraction in the Blue Mountains. Despite being crowded, the view of the Three Sisters and Jamison Valley is breathtaking and definitely worth seeing. Recently upgraded and expanded, the lookout now offers more space for visitors to enjoy the panoramic scenery without having to wait long. If you plan on taking one of the suggested walks in this area, you may find that the crowds thin out by the time you return to Echo Point.
One of the most amazing views in Australia. Really well set out, lots of parking, local shops, clean public toilets, friendly atmosphere. There is a park and picnic tables and lots of families around. The area is very spacious and you get to see a clear view of some of Australian geological history. Really worth the trip. About 1hr 15mins from Sydney with new roads all the way. Do it

One of the quintessential Blue Mountains tourist attractions. With a few decent bush walking tracks dotted around this, it makes for a great day trip up from Sydney if you are into nature and bush walking. There a few cool eateries on the high street which is a 20 min walk away, however, there are a few options closer by. The train ride up from Sydney City takes about 2 hours and is quite a relaxed and picturesque ride in. Parking is also available near the spot although it does fill up pretty quick during the holidays. Scenic world is also near by.

An amazing place to visit in Blue mountains range.
There is a stunning view of the three sisters rocks from here.
Washrooms are available which are clean and comfortable.
There is a shop to buy souvenirs and some items like bee honey, information leaflets etc.
The souvenirs are bit expensive here. If you are a visitor, better buy them from Haymarket.

I recently visited Echo Point Lookout in the Blue Mountains, and I was absolutely captivated by the breathtaking scenery. The view of the Three Sisters is nothing short of spectacular, with the rock formations standing tall against the lush backdrop of the Blue Mountains. The sight is truly awe-inspiring.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Echo Point Lookout is the sense of calm it exudes. Standing there, gazing out at the vast expanse of nature, I felt a profound sense of tranquility wash over me. It's a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in the serenity of the mountains.
The fresh mountain air at Echo Point is invigorating. It's a welcome respite from urban pollution, and you can't help but take deep, rejuvenating breaths as you take in the surroundings. Whether you're just enjoying the view, taking a leisurely stroll along the paths, or simply sitting and meditating, the air quality here is a reminder of the rejuvenating power of nature.
In summary, Echo Point Lookout in the Blue Mountains is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking amazing natural scenery, a calming atmosphere, and the opportunity to breathe in the freshest of mountain air. It's a place where you can connect with the beauty of the Australian wilderness and find a sense of peace that lingers long after you've left.

Seeing the Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains was awe-inspiring. These iconic rock formations stood tall, shrouded in mystery and Aboriginal legend. As I gazed at them from Echo Point, the scenery was simply stunning, with the Jamison Valley stretching out below. The interplay of light and shadow on the cliffs was mesmerizing. It was a moment of pure wonder, capturing the essence of the Blue Mountains' beauty and spirit.

Yeah I had an awesome day out. It was a nice relaxing time just to take some time out for myself to relax my mind and forget about other things for a few hours. Doing the giant staircase walk was tough but it was a good way to relax the mind and to sit down and relax halfway down and take in the beautiful scenery we have in this country.

Great views! We arrived just in time before it started to get quite busy (around 10:45).
Easy access to a few different viewing platforms. The stairs to the three sisters were very narrow and busy, so we gave that a miss. Parking for an hour and a half was $12.60 (meters are card payment)
There were toilets and an information centre at the lookout too.

recently I had the opportunity to visit the Blue Mountains in Australia and experience the breathtaking sights it has to offer. The overall experience was truly remarkable. The natural beauty of the Blue Mountains is awe-inspiring, with its stunning valleys, towering cliffs, and lush greenery.
One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the famous Three Sisters rock formation. The view from Echo Point lookout was simply mesmerizing, offering a panoramic vista of the mountains and valleys below. The unique rock formations and the surrounding landscape created a picture-perfect setting that left me in awe.
Additionally, the Blue Mountains offers a range of walking trails catering to different fitness levels. I embarked on a few walks.
I highly recommend visiting the Blue Mountains for anyone seeking a memorable and enriching nature experience. Took my breath away and totally worth the relatively short drive from Sydney.
Dress warm as the wind can be cold. Good walking shoes, a hat, drink bottle and definitely a good camera are musts.
Walking tracks for all levels of fitness but always remember that sooner or later after lots of downhill there has to be uphill 😂

It is about a 20-30 minute walk from Katoomba station. Considering the time it takes to wait for the bus, I thought it would be faster to walk, so I went to Echo Point and Scenic World instead of taking the bus.
Echo Point was very beautiful and spectacular. It was the most amazing view I have ever seen and it was a great experience. I saw three rocks called the Three Sisters and there was a small rock next to them and I wondered if they were with their children.
There were a lot of people, but the view was clear and we were able to take pictures quickly. Very neat experience. Very nice.

After eventually getting parking it was great. The views awesome, although plenty of people there, so was very busy.
Be prepared to either park a fair way away from the site or try and snag a park closer. Maybe because it was New Years day it was busier than most days, but maybe it's like this all the time.
Parking is paid between 0800 - 1700 Mon to Sun, if you can find a spot. After 1700 then no charge.

I recently visited Echo Point in the Blue Mountains, and it was a mix of awe and frustration. The beauty of the Three Sisters rock formation was absolutely mesmerizing. The towering cliffs and stunning vistas left me in awe of nature's grandeur. 😍🏞️
However, the strong winds at Echo Point added a thrilling element to the visit. It was a crazy windy place, which made me appreciate the power and force of nature. It certainly added an adventurous twist to the experience! 💨🌬️
On the downside, parking at Echo Point proved to be quite challenging. The limited parking spaces and high demand made finding a spot a frustrating task. 😕 Moreover, I encountered angry neighbors who were quick to scream at anyone who parked poorly. This encounter with an angry Aussie left a negative impression and made it my least favorite visit to the area. 😔
Overall, Echo Point offers breathtaking views of the Three Sisters and showcases the awe-inspiring beauty of the Blue Mountains. The crazy windy conditions add a thrilling aspect, but the difficult parking situation and encounters with angry neighbors dampened my experience. Despite the challenges, the natural beauty remains a sight to behold, and it's worth a visit to witness the magnificence of the Three Sisters firsthand.

The sheer scale of the mountain range never fails to amaze. Consider visiting at sunset if you wish to have the Three Sisters illuminated (they will be in the shadows at sunrise). The lookout is well lit at night. The lookout itself has been recently renovated with improved accessibility ramps and more seating. There are a few vantage points to soak in the view, aside from the main lookout everyone will immediately flock to. Take the stairs/ramps down to explore other vantage points.
There is no entrance fee for this lookout or the walking trails that go from here. The only public toilets I saw were the portable toilets, but there must be others in the visitor info centre and foodcourt nearby.

The big mountains at Three Sisters do make you feel tiny. Great leg workout up or down the 800m steep hill. Lots of other walk trail options for people who want to hike more. Be prepared for over 2 hrs of travel time if you're catching public transport. Bus access every 10 mins to get to Scenic Cruise from Three Sisters. Would do it all over again.

Gorgeous views as usual. Be sure to check the weather before you go because as you can see I went once when it was cold and misty and you could barely see anything. Parking is VERY expensive if you park in the closest carpark so if you don't mind walking a little park further away. There's also not much to eat or drink around so having a bite at Leura is probably a better option.

The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah is the highest botanic garden in the country, showcasing cool-climate plants and offering guided tours and picnic areas. Located within the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains region, this garden provides a serene escape with its diverse flora. The surrounding area boasts quaint villages, waterfalls, walking trails, and numerous lookouts that offer breathtaking views of cliffs and gorges.
I would give this place six stars however some of the parts that are meant to be disability friendly are not sealed properly and are uneven and are a little bit difficult to navigate this is near the rock pool and the bottom but otherwise the rest of the gardens are very easy to navigate especially for those requiring wheelchair access. Plenty of disable parking and accessibility bathrooms. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Wonderful day out.

Just love the Blue Mountains Botanical Gardens. On a beautiful day, there is nothing like wandering around the area. Although I couldn't get all the way around today as I was pushing my Dad around in the wheelchair. You certainly get a good workout going up/down hills. The best time of year, of course, is Spring, for a visit but it's always lovely.
Free entry, although I would recommend that you give a $5 donation which goes towards the upkeep of the gardens.
Public toilets are available and always clean. There is also a picnic area with chairs and tables.
There is also a cafe onsite as well.

I loved this place♥️it is so quite, has natural greenery, small fountains, has picnic spots and of course the beautiful flowers. There were not many flowers at this time but was good. There is one restaurant inside the garden which is okay.
The only thing l didn't like is the gate closes sharp at 5pm. They start announcing 15 min before closing down so you have to run back towards the parking.
Start early in the morning if you want to enjoy the garden and visit on a cloudy day.

Many hidden treasures here and glorious views. You can have guided tours and even hire a scooter to get around if you need. There are easy walk ways but if you go off those it's rock steps in some areas. It is a beautiful walk just keep in mind it is all up hill once you get down to the bottom. Unfortunately the only thing missing is a cafe.

The blue mountains botanic gardens is an awesome little collection of gardens with a backdrop view that would compare to the top 10 in Australia of the illustrious mountain range views.
The native flowers, trees and birds in the area is a spectacular assortment which can be found within the National park and great for learning and understanding.
For taking the kids there’s great picnic areas as well as a small learning centre with a few interactive activities for the kids which is also made interesting for adults.
You are able to book areas for events at the gardens although beware as the costs are quite expensive. The events can include weddings which would be a very memorable experience.
The bathrooms are nice and clean although can get busy.
There is a cafe there but closes early, from then there is a food van which is actually cheap for what you get so it’s not all bad.
Highly recommend a morning visit and then a lunch at bilpin with a cider

Off the beaten track but well worth a visit. Work your way down the hillside along manicured paths, past waterfalls and Ponds through a botanically organised series of feature gardens. Photographers will enjoy the vistas and the birdlike. See the Gang-gang cockatoos in the nut trees. Finish off with lunch in the Cafe overlooking the gardens and the distant valleys. Great day out.

We stopped by on our drive back to Sydney. It was a nice walk with very lovely views down through the mountains despite being very busy. This is a smaller park than compared to the Royal Botanic Garden in the city, and you get to see a different range of species as well because of the different climate conditions.

Breath-taking view... Highly recommend this place if you want to get out of the city and refresh your mind an soul.
Take a walk through the nicely designed gardens and enjoy the weather.
Also a nice place for taking nice photos or celebrating events.
The cafe is good also.

Amazing gem hidden in blue mountains. Must visit if you like nature and its beauty. It has got a nice cafe as well. Quite scenic and beautiful.

Free entry to these large and beautiful botanical gardens. The icon of the gardens seems to be a spiral made of rocks which is surrounded by flowers in front of the Blue Mountains landscape. There are native and exotic plants, mysterious walkways, information centre and a couple of cafes. Toilets and picnic tables available and plenty of car parks. The drive from Sydney is nice with windy roads surrounded by native bush, it’s also worth stopping off at Windsor, a pretty historic town.

Beautiful place. Amazing view from the cafe at the entrance. Had a great time taking photos of the different wildlife and flowers that I came across. It's pretty steep so be careful of you're not fit or able bodied as it is very tiring walking back up from the bottom of the garden
