Known for its "moonscape" appearance, this popular sandy area features cliffside views & recreation.
It's a short walk from Cooloola Drive to The Sand Blow. There are some steps to climb and uneven ground but it's not too difficult to make it to the sand blow viewing platform. From there you can look out to the ocean although you get better views if you walk out to the edge of the cliffs on the left. To the left there are also suitable spots to sand board. As you look out and walk over the spot you'll see that the sand is a mix of different colours and quite pretty. Note that it is a little more difficult walking on sand, so keep this in mind if you decide to walk down.

This a great place to view sunrise or sunset. The view is stunning. It's also the start of the great walk. The carpark is not very big so get here early if you want a spot during the popular times. Kids will enjoy sliding down the dune on boogie board. Walking back up the sand is a good workout
Michael Jones — Google review
The unspoilt Carlo Sand Blow is one of the gems of Rainbow Beach. Less than 1km easy walk leads you to this beautiful sand haven where you can catch a gorgeous sunset view. There is a deck at the end of the walk to be able to leave your shoes (just be careful stepping off the deck as I managed to slice my foot on a rock, and it is quite a bit step down). Also, make sure you get there with good time for sunset, and have a torch to walk back as the path is quite dark on the return. Do not miss walking up here - and if you're on foot, be prepared for quite a steep hill on the road up to the sand blow along Cooloola Drive.
Niamh Hills — Google review
Awesome view of sand dune , one side oceans 🌊 and other is hill. One of the nicest place to enjoy sunset 🌅. Take your body board for sand sliding. 500~600 meter from car park , easy walk with stairs.

One of the must visit tourist attractions in Mission Beach. I visited mission beach without any planning and didt know this place until I asked the receptionist.
You will be enter from the cooloola great walk trail and take about 20mins to get there
When I arrived I was amazed by the wonder of this place, a sand hill all the way down to the sea.
You can see a lot of people paragliding there but from the notice board that you will be required to do so.
Overall, I'm impressed with this place
Neo — Google review
Amazing how wide an area of sand the place really is. If you walk closer to the ocean you can see the paragliders take off too. Not far from the car park at the top of the hill, some steps mean it is not that pram friendly but can be done as they are not long.
Eugene Foo — Google review
Easy walk of 600 m to see this unusual sand scrape. Would work a great on a windy day. Ours was a wet time.
Terry Davis — Google review
This is definitely a must do! The sand was lovely, a nice walk to it and views all around. If you go to the bottom it is a hilarious walk back up the hill in the sand 😂
Ellé B — Google review
Quite spectacular! Don't just stay on the deck/platform... get down to the cliffs (not too close😜). Absolutely amazing views, and incredible colours & patterns in the sand. Ever-changing!
Nikki — Google review
Wow! Definitely one to experience. Please bear in mind that the sand blow is a walk away with over a dozen steps along the way. The marked spot is just the car park.
Mike “Michael” Dawson — Google review
It was and astonishing experience. We enjoyed sand boarding. And the view from the cliff was marvellous, we spent whole morning playing with different colours of sand while sitting in front of the amazing ocean water.
Andy — Google review
Amazing. Love this location at sunset, and it can get quite busy here with people coming to have a drink and watch the sun set! Fun to boogie board down the sand dunes and wander around, see the water and beach below. It's a short walk from the carpark through the bush (300ish metres or so, maybe?) with some stairs along the way. Love this spot!
Annika Michelle — Google review
Beautiful, recommended to everyone heading to rainbow beach.make sure you visit early in the morning and late in the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful view of carlo.the sand is super duper hot in summer time so make sure wear a tongs or shoes.
Scarlette Acoba — Google review
Absolutely magical experience we went for sunset which I just would highly recommend I have never seen views like it. From where you park your car, you do have to walk up quite lot of stairs and not so flat surfaces as someone with mobility issues I did struggle at times only due to the length of time it takes. An Australian 5 minutes is more like 10 to 15 minutes. The stairs are not steep but as I have chronic nerve pain so walking can be difficult at times i did find all the uneven surfaces and walking up a hill difficult. The views were worth it though. On our return we had to walk in the dark luckily we all had phones so we used the torches so be mindful of that when you go to see the sunset. But if you go to Rainbow beach this is a must!
We had a great experience feeding the wild dolphins. We were lucky to have a Mum and baby come in too. $10 a fish to feed the dolphins. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and gave a very informative talk whilst waiting for the dolphins to arrive. It's a very well run procedure and all the volunteers work well to make this a unique experience. My only suggestion would be to try and repair the small ramp that goes to the beach so the elderly and disabled area little safer. The Cafe was well run & pancakes were delicious.
Margaret Jaques — Google review
We had an amazing time here, staff and volunteers are just amazing and bubbly. Unfortunately we didn't eat here but the food looked good. We attended the dolphin feeding and even got up close to feed them, wow so much knowledge was given about these beautiful creatures. No pets aloud as its inside the establishment.
Sarah Wiggins — Google review
Awesome experience feeding dolphins here. There are limited spots and it costs $10 per person. Come early to make sure you get a spot. Also, there is heaps of parking nearby. Once you get a token, you’re definitely going to get the opportunity to feed the dolphins as they only provide enough tokens- so you don’t need to be scared or rushed! The staff are all very friendly and courteous; they educate you about the history of the place and the dolphins’ names and lives, then they also make sure you are comfortable and safe during the feeding!
Jenny Qian — Google review
Really appreciated the gentleman on the phone who told us to come before 7am. We got here at 6:30am, saw 2 dolphins & a group of amazing volunteers who run this place in order, especially at school holiday. Had a great time!

We had an amazing experience again at Barnacles with the family and feed the dolphins. The dolphins were late for the 7am time but absolutely worth the wait. They were beautiful and the staff friendly.

A lovely waterfront cafe with plenty of seating and a relaxing view over the estuary
The staff are friendly, service is fast and food & coffee, fresh n hot ☕️
There’s parking right out front and no steps to worry about
Highly recommended to everyone visiting Tim Can Bay, and early birds can enjoy participating in or watching the daily dolphin feeding, right at your doorstep ☀️
Jaimes Pool — Google review
Great to watch and feed the dolphins. $10 to enter which includes a fish to feed the dolphins. We arrived at 6:30am and were second in line. Gates open at 7:00 feeding started around 8:00. The hosts give lots of info about the dolphins while you wait. Excellent
Neil Barker — Google review
Grabbed a BLT while eating for the dolphin feeding. The food was pretty good and the coffee was passable. The dolphin feeding experience was excellent! A well run program 👌
Aussie Adventuress — Google review
Amazing experience to get up close with humpback dolphins. We fed them fish, chatted with the volunteers, then had breakfast at the cafe. This has become an annual visit for us.
Annika Michelle — Google review
I did the dolphin experience here. It was the highlight of my holiday. Very orderly and well run considering the number of people. Wonderful volunteers who are knowledgeable and friendly. Best $10 I've ever spent!
Annie Gray — Google review
Feeding the dolphins was a great experience. All the volunteers were very informative and lovely to talk to. The cafe staff and food were nice. I do think there should be a much wider cement path for the safety of all the visitors to pass to and fro from the feeding area. And especially on a busy day (ours was apparently quiet) it definitely warrants another toilet.

We really enjoyed seeing the dolphins they were amazing Found the information given by Employees and Volunteers very interesting. $10 for informative talk and fish to feed a dolphin was a very special moment.

Noosa National Park is a large and picturesque area that offers a variety of outdoor activities such as mountain summit walks, coastal trails, wildlife viewing, and swimming opportunities. It boasts magnificent views of the coast, including the chance to spot dolphins. The park can be reached via a beautiful boardwalk along the coastline from town. At the entrance, visitors can find free walking maps and information on koala sightings at the Noosa National Park Information Centre.
This place is more beautiful than they seem in photos. Trekking route is mostly covered by trees. You can stop and enjoy good views in many spots.
I am so sad that I could not see most of the park because I could not park my car. Hours wasted... I see from the reviews that this is the case almost for all weekends. So, if you visit here at the weekend you should arrive before 8am in the morning. Or park your car far, take a bus/uber.
Ali Furkan — Google review
Gorgeous national park and one of the most easily accessed walk ways into the park itself. Recommend coming here early in the morning for the sunrise and to avoid the crowds. Beware the other holiday makers that will crowd the car park up. The beaches are gorgeous, if a little flat, so they're perfect for families or individuals who aren't interested in pushing themselves too hard. No flag or lifesavers so it's best to play it safe

Noosa National Park on Queensland's Sunshine Coast is a coastal paradise that captivates visitors with its natural beauty. My friend and I use the coastal route and we are satisfied with our decision. This is the recommended route because most of the walkways are even and cost least energy to travel (except the Sunshine beach, Alexandria Bay and some paths have stairs) but still can enjoy picturesque beaches, scenic walking trails, and breathtaking ocean views. The coastal track offers panoramic vistas and chances to spot dolphins and whales (but really rare, I don't have a chance to see them but hear their sound from a distance near Dolphin Point). The park's interior trails showcase diverse flora, fauna, and iconic landmarks like Hell's Gates. Well-maintained facilities and knowledgeable staff enhance the experience. People can still choose to experience Tanglewood walk and Hill walk but remember to follow the instructions along the way, do not walk alone and bring enough water with you. Be mindful of crowds by visiting on weekdays or arriving early as well. Noosa National Park is an enchanting destination for nature enthusiasts and have a great trip!

Magnificent views with 5 excellent walks of varying lengths. Parking can be tricky as the car park fills fast and early (by 9am). There is also street parking for about 30 cars but it's 2 hours so you need to be mindful of that. Having said that most walks/trails can be easily completed under 2 hours.
The coastal walk to Hell's gate is brilliant as is Alexandria beach. There is also a very small trail right at the entrance of just over 1 klms but it's brilliant also. We did 4 out of the five walks in 2 days followed by an hour or two cooling off at Noosa Beach. The water was 26 Celsius...
There is also adequate toilet facilities at the entrance and all walks are well signed. Enjoy.

An incredibly beautiful National park in the heart of Noosa. Absolutely stunning coastal views from all vantage points, and a walk for all fitness levels. I took the no.5 route to make the most of the coastal views, which was around 10.5km or good quality walking tracks.
Clancy Smith — Google review
Stunning national Park, great access to amenities where required along the various tracks. The beaches were stunning and there were lots of surfers out there doing their thing.
The full coastal walk was amazing and I'd highly recommend it 👍
Will Anstee — Google review
Great national park, well preserved and a nice view. Some cliffs are perfect to look for whales, turtles, dolphins, rays, among other marine animals. We also found echidnas walking around and very close to nice beaches to go for a swim. Longest trail is around 10km both ways

A beautiful national park with good walking trails seeing fabulous views. Wear polaroid glasses for better viewing. We were able to see turtles swimming and a pod of dolphins. Definately recommend walking the trail and wear swimmers so you can swim at one of the beaches if you like. There is a dog beach on the southern end of the park at Sunshine Beach. All the rain bought small waterfalls 😄

It feels wild to give this wonderful national park a star rating - as it is a six star just for the nature itself! An easy walk but can get hot. Pack water, go early to get parking.
WelL maintained and busy. Good for a walk, decent for a run. Super early mornings are my favourite
Kit Allen — Google review
Small but beautiful National Park only minutes walk from the town centre of Noosa. Constructed board walk makes access easy for all ages to enjoy the serenity and stunning scenery. Don't forget to keep looking high into the treetops for the ever elusive koalas.
Vaughan Dunn — Google review
The Noosa National Park is absolutely gorgeous. The coastal walk offers such incredible views of the ocean and hidden coves along the shoreline. I definitely recommend doing the walk if you visit Noosa. It takes around 2 hours each way and does get at little rocky and unstable towards the Sunshine Beach end. But it is totally worth it.
Sophie A — Google review
Such a beautiful national park, the water is so clear and it's in turquoise colour. There're a lot of different walks to choose from but personally I think the coastal walk is the best. You can spot some whales during the migration season. There's also a fairy pool here, which is pretty cool, bring a swimwear if you'd like to do a dip! Definitely child friendly but dogs are not allowed here. Public restrooms are available. There's an information centre at the start of the walk. Parking can be hard to find if you come late.
Elsa X (Elsaxx) — Google review
The Noosa National Park walk/hike turned out to be a fantastic experience. With several trail options to choose from, I had the luxury of exploring the park in very pleasant weather. The symphony of bird songs accompanied me along the way, creating a soothing atmosphere.
To my delight, luck was on my side as I spotted a kangaroo during my walk. While I wasn't able to capture a photo, the memory remains vivid. If you're planning a visit to Noosa, the Noosa National Park walk/hike is a must-include item in your itinerary. It's an experience that showcases the park's natural beauty and wildlife, making it a perfect addition to your bucket list.

Had a lovely stroll through this national park. The car park gets quite busy. This was our third day attempting to visit the national park (due to parking difficulties). Lots of camper vans when we arrived at 6.30am however we were able to get a parking spot this time which was great. National park was very busy even this early in the morning. Lots of people running and walking, often had to move out of the way. Overall a nice morning out

Bring sufficient water if on a hot day! I walked from Sunshine beach to Noosa heads and only saw 1 water station over 10+km! Breathtaking views
Bianca Di Meglio Lemieux — Google review
What a beautiful national park. Multiple walking trails with amazing views. If you are looking for an active activity to do with the family, I would highly recommend a visit here. Lots of places to stop along the walk including secluded beaches, fairy rock pools and viewing docks. Making it to the peak at Hell's gate is well worth the trek. Be warned, it gets busy so if you can walk here instead of drive that is definitely the better option as finding a car park after 9am will be hard.
Huong Nguyen — Google review
The walking trails are great but I wish we could of downloaded them prior to going so that we knew what we were really in for (appreciate this might exist already but didn’t fond it easily).
Anyway, this is certainly worth doing if you can appreciate a good view and some natural beauty. Pack enough water and maybe a snack!

Excellent walking tracks, spectacular views and fantastic swimming and surf beaches.
Only downside is that it can get quite busy on the trails and parking is difficult in peak times.

Wonderful place. I loved this Noosa National Park a lot. Walking around the forest and ocean road. There are some routes, I choose the two route - Tanglewood and it took around three hours.
The famous shopping street Hastings Street in Noosa is a popular destination for dining, nightlife, and resorts. It's located on the beachfront and lined with boutique shops, restaurants, and bars. Many establishments are wheelchair accessible, making it an ideal spot for all types of visitors.
Great shopping street one block off the beach. There are two free parking lots and one paid parking lot two blocks off the beach.

Hastings Street is at the heart of Noosa retail, restaurants, beach and Nat Park. There are a plehora of eateries and upmarket retail and it's easy to combine time on the beach with a stroll down Hastings Street before choosing a place for lunch or dinner.
It's often very busy, and while there's parking on the street, there are two good sized free public car parks adjacent Noosa Drive just near the corner of Hastings Street and Noosa Drive. Midday is busy and parking can be tricky but earlier morning or evening its very accessible.

Although the place is beautiful, it's definitely not suitable for humans. The weather is as hot as a desert, and you could get a sunburn in just 5 minutes under the sun. People are constantly applying sunscreen and jumping into the water to cool off. Unfortunately, I think this is the reason why all the coral appears to be dead.

Wonderful holiday destination. Very water sports or relaxation orientated. We did a 5 day cruise from Sydney to Moreton Island and return. My sister and I did Quad biking, kayaking in clear kayaks. The fish were amazing to see around the shipwrecks. Finished off with parasailing over the magical blue waters of Moreton Island. Then we cooled off in the beautiful clear waters before relaxing at the island bar and heading back to our cruise ship. A must do! We will be back Moreton Island! You left your mark on us!

This destination has been voted one of the best on the Sunny Coast, attracting travelers with its holiday ambiance and frequent sightings of dolphins and whales.
One of my favourite holiday destinations.
Beautiful beaches, lots of nice shops and good restaurants around.

A beautiful family friendly beach to visit either when heading up further north or local travel from Brisbane. Beautiful white sands and perfect water temperature and lots of food options for kids and everyone right opposite to the beach.

A big yes for an Family Beach Holiday time. Very busy during public holidays for sure but live the energy here.
About 2 hours up the coast from Brisbane.
Parking is not easy (always) but it helps save much time and effort if you just drive straight to the paid indoor parking for a flat rate of $12.5 then all is good.

My favourite beach anywhere in the world. Large horse-shoe shaped beach with beautiful sand. Two areas patrolled by lifesavers. One closest to town has nice waves, but is very busy during peak seasons. At the opposite end of the beach it's a lot calmer and family friendly. A great beach to walk along any time of the year. The local council has done a great job in recent years to improve the board walk and esplanade. Love it!

Love this beach! Beautiful family spot but swim between the flags as there are loads of rips and submerged rocks. Very rough swell so good for boogey boarding. Low tide reveals many hidden rock pools. Lots of shells and pretty rocks!

This is our second time back at Mooloolaba beach and we are so happy to be here. The beach itself is centrally located with the surf club, shops and food outlets a stones throw away. There are plenty of tables and grassy areas for a picnic. The lifeguards usually patrol here when you swim between the flags. It’s a close walk to accommodation such as the mantra and others. Parking is relatively easy with a few parking lots close by.

Love this beach! Great walking track alongside the beach with some nice shady areas. Great combination of bigger waves for surfing and calm waters for a relaxing dip.

Good coffee and brekki places are around the centre of the beach, highly recommending! :)

Beautiful beach with many good restaurants surround it, just become quite noisy sometimes but if you walk near the beach in evening, it won't be that noisy anymore and you can enjoy the quiet atmosphere nicely with the sea breeze 💗

Love this beach, it's got everything - showers, toilets, surf club, undercover eating areas, playground, plenty of parking and it's close to a tonne of shops.
Best to hit it up early to stake your spot and avoid the crowds.
Amazing sunrises too.

It's a magical beach with great people who say, "Hi" as they pass you. Great shops and restaurants at the Mooloolaba Esplanade. Kick a beer and enjoy the view. Good vibes at Mooloolaba! This place is better than Noosa!

Beautiful beach. Yes there's a safe and patrolled swimming area. However, I tend to walk along the beach to where it's less populated. Lots of space to sit, read a book, watch the surfers, explore the multitude of rock pools that expose themselves at low tide, close my eyes and listen to the ocean. Or grab an ice-cream or take-aways from one of the many restaurants and sit on the beach. Or watch an amazing sunset, moonrise, whatever! Love this beach!

Love the vibe, but still prefer Sufer Paradise in Gold Coast. There were not many shells and the sand texture seems different from Surfers’s Gold Coast

I usually body surf at the beach, but last Christmas Eve we watched the fireworks! Fun.
The SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium provides a fun and educational experience for children with its diverse displays and engaging programs. Although it may be pricier than other zoos and aquariums, the seal show is a cool highlight. However, it can get crowded in the seal show area despite requests for social distancing. Booking ahead makes entry easy and the friendly service adds to the overall positive experience.
Great day out for the kids booking time made it easy to get in and the service was very friendly. The seal show was great and the new penguin 🐧 area was interesting. All the displays are well thought out and there is heaps to appreciate if you take a closer look.

A most enjoyable morning (23 July 2022) spent wandering around the aquarium. Great to see such a wide variety of sea life in one easily accessible location. Only wished I'd brought along a better camera to take more worthy photos. Certainly recommend this for kids of all ages. Sea Lions rock, by the way!

We did the behind the scenes tours and also the photos with the seal. It was definitely worth the extra amount in my opinion.
The aquarium and exhibits brought out the inner child in me. All the different species of underwater creatures was fascinating and a bombardment of colours and lighting.
The staff were friendly and the food at the cafe was decent and reasonably priced.
I would definitely recommend a visit.

Such a great day out. Educational exhibits and genuinely such cool views through the tunnel. We bought tickets in advance and went early in the week - almost no crowd! My one suggestion to the aquarium - it would be great to get free wifi! I had no reception throughout most of the building so I couldn't scan all the QR codes for more info and see the pics.

Had a really fun weekend. Such an amazing experience seeing all the different aquatic animals up close. The highlight of the day was the seal show.
Just a little trouble getting a parking spot because it was a weekend.

Had a day out. Very enjoyable.
Lots of sea life to look at. Good variety. The map they supplied in a graphical manner was a bit convoluted especially with the ramp leading to the lower penguin space and the ocean tunnel.
The seal presentation was respectful and fun. Cute penguins. Ocean tunnel was cool.

Beautifully designed and presented.
Well maintained, and looked after.
Ticket prices are a bit high, but totally worth having the sea life experience.
Great seal performance. Witnessed Sharks and amazing sea creatures.
Small cafe in the corner.
Bit hard to find parking on the weekends especially.
Although, huge parking areas are around. Overall, it was a good experience..

Amazing place to take the children. A little bit expensive compared to other aquariums and zoos which had more to look at. The seal show was cool, however expect to be crammed in like sardines. They request everyone to be 1.5m but we were almost sitting on the next persons lap at the seal show, a bit pointless having the set times as it was jam packed in there.

I haven’t been here since I was 7, it didn’t disappoint as I’m 28 now and loved it all, from the petting tanks to the seal show, and all the other exhibits. Had a fantastic day, about 3 hours spent in total. Would recommend

Nice couple of hours with the kids. No food kiosks in there anymore and all OK to bring your own. Animals looked very well looked after. Seal show was lovely, very informative. Make sure you pre-purchase tickets. Happy days

There are no wheelchair car parks. Staff suggested stopping in the loading zone, unloading and then parking. There were buses parked there though so stopped in the road. Also I shouldn't be leaving my client alone while I park the car. We enjoyed the seal show.

The behind the scene tour was informative and interesting. Amy was friendly and knowledgeable.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. it didn't appear to be crowded as we walked around the aquarium. Seal show was fun and entertaining, advise you to get there early as the stands full up quick.

What a great way to fill in a few hours on the Sunshine Coast, especially on a hot or rainy day. It is advisable to buy tickets online and arrive early to avoid crowds. The staff are helpful and friendly. There are many tanks full of wonderful sealife, from starfish, seahorses, jellyfish and lobsters. There are penguins, seals and frogs. Of course the seal show is a highlight as well as the shark under water tunnel. So many giant stingrays and sharks as well as turtles and giant gropers.
Kids and adults will have a ball. There is a cafe and air-conditioned playground for the kids.
Such a great outing and definitely recommend visiting if you are at the Sunshine Coast.

The aquarium was quite small. However, it was packed with interesting exhibitions. The conditions of the sea creatures looked fine. There were quite a lot of visitors even during weekday to my surprise. The show was interesting and the penguins were really cute !

Nice little attraction up the coast if you're holidaying for a few days. Always quite busy. We went on a weekday not on school holidays and was still a bit pokey to navigate with staff and other patrons. It's expensive for what it you get. Id find the kids would be just as interested looking around rock pools. The staff weren't overly friendly. The seal show is a highlight but I think they need more interactive experiences.

Recently did the Shark Dive Extreme at Sea Life and it far exceeded my expectations. I would especially like to thank Charlie and Joel for their clear instructions and information during the dive. At all times I felt safe, had fun, and felt like I learned so much. The experience itself was a once in a lifetime sort of moment with sharks swimming mere centimetres away from me. Highly recommend if you are thinking of doing this.

We love going to sealife with our little girl. It's free for her whilst she is under 3 so we got annual passes. Great experience for her being able to teach her about marine biology and conservation. We went on a Monday this time straight after school holidays finished lot of other preschool aged kids but wasn't to bad. Been told Sunday afternoons are quietest time which we usually try for.

I loved our visit here. Only stayed an hour, could easily have spent more time. I was really surprised how much sea life was on exhibit. My only complaint was that the cuttlefish tank seemed a little small for the poor fish.

We took two toddlers today and they had an awesome time. The exhibits are colourful and full of underwater life. The seal show was a favourite and good fun. Before we left we wandered through the gift shop, which had a good array of T-shirt’s, toys and knickknacks. Definitely worth going, no matter what your age! 😊

Sea Life aquarium is a wonderful place to see marine life and even some freshwater fish and creatures. Plan on 2-3 hours. Though not outdoors or spread over several acres, the spaces are well utilized. Very child friendly but also very interesting for adults of all ages. It can get crowded by noon. Maybe try arriving around noon and staying for the afternoon after all the early birds head out for lunch. Lots of parking at the wharf area. But probably gets full during holidays.
Andrew Brueske — Google review
Very busy on the weekends, so plan accordingly, was very difficult to find a car park.. for those with sensory issues, parents are not overly concerned about their kids wildly screaming and running around, and the tunnel can make you feel weird. All animals look well cared for, and the touch pool was a bit bare but still interactive and fun. Most staff engage with you, some more shy than others. The seal show was good. I would have loved it to be a bit longer. Seal photos are $30 per person. Overall, it was a great experience. I do appreciate the work Sealife does.
Take away: buy sustainable fish and always put your rubbish in the bin 😉
Charmaine Harris — Google review
First time here. Full of colour, very organised, well structured, (additional payable options available inside depending what more you want to do). Very clean and easily to follow route and takes 2 plus hours ( if you attend the tunnel tour and watch seal world show, as well as some other activities included in base price).
A lot of the interactive stuff however just didn’t work on the day of visit which was a pity because they promised so much and I felt it lacked a bit of the big WOW factor in comparison to similar type venues.

Bulcock Beach is a renowned tourist destination that offers low-tide splash pools, crystal-clear blue waters, and a boardwalk. Visitors can indulge in various water sports or simply bask in the sun for relaxation. The beach also boasts numerous nearby cafes and restaurants that cater to different dining needs. In addition to the waterfront location, there are many accommodation options available for visitors seeking comfort during their stay.
Nice place to spend the day with access to surf beach or more tranquil waters, whatever takes your fancy. People fish off the esplanade further along and there's food places there too. Car park will get full quickly as it's small but there's a decent toilet block there. Good sized playground for the littler ones there also. Wheelchair accessible with ramp down to the sand. When it's low tide you can walk across to the tip of Bribie Island.

Bulcock Beach on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, is nothing short of paradise! Our visit left us in awe, and we can't help but give it a solid five-star rating.
This stunning stretch of coastline offers everything you could dream of in a beach destination. Crystal-clear waters, powdery white sand, and gentle waves make it an ideal spot for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports.
One of the standout features of this beach is its family-friendly atmosphere. The calm waters and a dedicated swimming area make it perfect for kids, providing peace of mind for parents. The playground nearby is an added bonus, ensuring that the little ones stay entertained.
The boardwalk is another highlight, offering picturesque views and access to charming cafes and restaurants. It's a great place to take a leisurely stroll and soak in the coastal beauty. We particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood offerings at the nearby eateries—nothing beats the taste of fish and chips by the beach!
In summary, Bulcock Beach is a five-star destination that has something for everyone. Whether you're a beach lover, a family looking for a safe and enjoyable day out, or a couple seeking a romantic day out, this Sunshine Coast gem will not disappoint. We can't wait to return!

This beach is such a beauty. I rarely swim coz I fear of rips but this beach doesn’t have any waves. The view is very beautiful and have wide places to choose to lay your mat on and have a picnic day. Don’t forget to bring some cover as the sun is strong especially in summer.
Parking space can be challenging on weekends and holidays but there’s a free parking building just a fee meters from the beach. 😊😅

Great place for relaxing and suntanning. It is also good to come here for a swim. Good walk along the beach, and there are many nice restaurants around this area. It was a long line wait up, got told we could hire fins for the day so waited 30 mins in line and then to be told by another staff member that they don't do that and would have to hire the whole set which costed more so that wasted our time and this staff member was very rude/arrogant towards us. Did not appreciate staff not being on the same page, will not be hiring from here best to just buy your own gear elsewhere and bring it in on the day. They need to also update and have a better system in place when hiring items out especially with how busy it can get here.

We went on the 1,5hours guided snorkeling tour along the shipwrecks, which ended up being only half an hour of snorkeling with all the waiting and gearing up. We were disappointed of how little we got to see, especially with another 40 people in the water with us (there were about 4 groups in total with a guide each and we often got confused in the water who to follow). We ended up hiring a double kayak afterwards to go back to the wrecks and had so much more fun there - we even saw a turtle then. The snorkel tour is only worth it if your with kids or doing snorkeling the first time.

One of the many facilities in Morton Island resort. Allows online booking and good comms after booking, including ensuring that we are strong enough to kayak to the wrecks and get back. We had booked the wrecks tour, but cancelled it as the weather looked unpredictable and staff were happy to cancel it. We ended up hiring the kayaks and going to the wrecks ourselves the weather turned out to be good, which was a bit cheaper than the tour. The kayaking itself was tiring but the experience at the wrecks was worth it!

Purely on the fact there’s no life guards. I nearly lost my sister to drowning, it was a traumatic holiday. I had to swim to her and risk my own life to help her. I was signalling people for ages for help, there was a boat with scuba divers and no one saw. Finally some foreigners on a kayak helped the both of us after minutes of struggle thankfully.
I asked the Venue if they ever have life guards and they said they never do.
This is more a warning, please be careful snorkelling at the ship wreck, if you are not a strong swimmer stay with a group of people even when swimming in or out!
Paige — Google review
Went for a snorkelling session.
Of my family of 4, my goggles were cracked and had to be replaced while we were halfway snorkelling. The replaced goggles did not get the "anti-fog" treatment so it was constantly fogging up.
But there were a great number of fishes to see at the wreck and other than my equipment-failures, the rest of my family had good fun.
There was also not as much care and attention as I would have preferred. The briefing session was done like a task that the staff had to go through and there was not much sense that the staff were genuinely keen to make the experience awesome for people who took part.
Overall, the location for snorkel was great. But the equipment, the logistics and the staff were nothing to shout about.

its our first time to visit Tangalooma. It has a beautiful beach and fanstic emerald ocean colour.
Also we did many activities (4WD ATV, and fantastic experience interacting with feeding wild Dolphins)

We have booked for the wild dophin feeding but was told to cancel due to some flood reasons. At the island the staff told us that only guest at the resort can book for the feeding. As we are not the guest but on a one day trip, we are disappointed that we are given the wrong reason. Nevertheless we watch from the stand on the feeding. At the same time there was filming.

Loved the place. Lots of activities, great facilities. Beautiful location. Close to Brisbane. Easy to get to and lots to do when your there. Preferred watching the dolphins from the pier, but my daughter lined up 3 nights in a row to feed them. Definitely worth checking out

Fed 2 dolphins. I think the order of the dolphins made it a bit better.
Of the bucket of fish, I grabbed the ONLY wrong fish haha
My first feed was to Echo. Echo was a little rough, scared me because I didn’t expect him to push forwards so much, sort of pushed me backwards a bit.
My second feed was to Comet. I was expecting the chance of roughness so when Comet went for the bite I moved back a little scared that he’d get my hand in his mouth. Although Comet was gentle so I did pull the fish away from him 😅 just glad he was still gentle afterwards and went for his bite slowly.

Rare opportunity to feed wild dolphins right in the ocean by hand. Draws a fairly large crowd but they handle it quite well, especially given that the number of dolphins is unknown each night until they come in for a feed.

Took a long time to actually get to feed them. Short time in the water but an enjoyable experience. Very capable staff working in trying times. Recommend it to everyone.

If you want a really honest review, read this one. This review is from a P&O customer who came to the island via a cruise. We spent approx 1.5 - 2 hours on this tour. They gave food at the beginning which was average and we didn’t even get a chance to eat much as we arrived ON TIME and others arrived earlier and ate everything. A little disorganised there. Then we sat down for a presentation. Highly educational but not in a boring way. It was a very good presentation. Then we went to the beach and waited for some while to feed the dolphins. All this time you get super enthusiastic and excited to feed the dolphins but unfortunately when you get called, you put your hand in the water, the dolphin eats the fish, and they tell you to get out of the water. Overall you spend about 2 minutes with the dolphins and mind you, you’re not allowed to touch them. The 2 minutes was still great and staff were extremely nice, however don’t get mislead by the way they advertise this tour. This is exactly what happens and it is very unique but at the same time extremely disappointing especially since it is the most expensive tour on the island.
ekaterina chertenkova — Google review
Dolphin feeding was included in our Tangalooma package and it was obvious that many other had the same; after sunset loads of people lined up on the beach to feed a fish to the dolphins. To move all these people through quickly we had to line up in 5-6 queues after which we took turns entering the water. Our dolphin snatched the fish in a millisecond and we had to exit the water to allow the next person in. It was dark and we could only see a bit of the animal in the big lights that were directly toward the water. More of a factory-conveyor-belt than a nature experience unfortunately.

Great experience. A couple of tips: it takes quite a while to cycle through everyone, so plan on lining up early. We were told 6:15, but line was already 50 deep by 6:10. You can bring your own camera/phone into the water with you as long as its one-hand operation.

Did an Explorer bus trip from the Carnival Splendor today .
The resort is just stunning with a huge variety of activity options & is now on my bucket list..
HOWEVER our bus driver Mark gave absolutely NO narration, information or descriptions on the shipwrecks, history or lay of the land as apparently the microphone wasn't working?
Why the hell NOT❓❓
At $170 for a day tour, we learnt nothing, zero nothing which was very disappointing to all the first time visitors Australian & International visitors. The only reason we learnt anything on the return trip was because a passenger was sitting up in the front seat asking questions..
Brett, the other driver was thoroughly informative & friends on his bus advised us of his expert narration.
A total waste of money.
The lunch sandwiches were delicious!

Unfortunately the dolphin feeding experience was quite underwhelming.
From the photos / videos we’d seen we were expecting quite an intimate experience with 10-15mins in the water with the dolphins.
It was more like 200 people and very commercialised.
There was a HUGE line to queue up. They then slowly checked everyone off a list and made you stand in another queue. Rather than splitting the people who lined up first to the front of the 5 smaller queues (which seems fair) they filled 1 queue and then moved onto the next. It also seemed like the perfect opportunity to get the feeding started so people got to enjoy the experience.
We waited at least 30mins before they then started a talk. At this point everyone was fed up, children were running wild & we couldn’t even hear the microphone. Finally we got 1 fish each and about 1 min in the water with the dolphin. Before having to grab our bags and leg it to the boat.
SUCH an inefficient experience, which felt very rushed and impersonal. The resort could manage the whole feeding process so much better so it was a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.

4 dolphins came in during our feed time. They were very playful. Quickly took the fish from us. My 6 year old was mesmerised by them.
This huge pineapple is a popular landmark with steps to an observation deck, plus an on-site cafe.
Didn't actually visit the Big Pineapple. Went next door to the zoo, HQ Wildlife. We visited it twice to feed and have photos taken with the Meerkats and Koala living there. Lovely experience. It makes you appreciate the Animal Kingdom with some fantastic and cute animals housed there. Go, the whole family will enjoy it. My wife loved it.

I visited here on 19 th July 2022 and unfortunately it’s not even a shadow of its former glory! I often came here in the 1980s when it was a fully functional mega tourist facility. However since the new Nambour by pass went through patronage dropped off which is a shame. Currently it’s just a very basic unattractive cafe running at the front yard and due to Covid restrictions these is no access up the iconic big pineapple. In its hey day there were big “ everything “ all the way up the Sunshine Coast.Big bottle big cow big deer. There was even a big lawnmower! I just look forward to the time when this iconic landmark can be restored to full function with the cane train rides etc that made it all such a happy experience

I am heartbroken. The bypass has killed this beautiful attraction. Combined with other factors around ownership and investment this once proud tourist icon is not what I remembered from my first visit in 2003 or even my last visit in 2013. Talking to the lovely lady at the cafe, COVID was the last nail in the coffin and no-one has made a serious attempt to bring the big pineapple back. I am posting just one photo as the rest just make me sad.

Very disappointed ☹️
Caroline Grant — Google review
Such a shame it's not fully open. It needs the owners to develop the site as the potential is huge. The train is great fun for the kids too.

The big pineapple was once a nice attraction but it looks like it's been let run down. We took our children in 2000 and they had a nice shop and a pine apple plantation, but not now. Unfortunately.

A fun attraction and iconic tourist trap. Its worth a visit if you're nearby
Hugh Heggen — Google review
The pineapple itself is super cool! Still in decent shape for fun photos!
We went on a week day, midday, when it "should" have been open. It wasn't. The pineapple was locked up. Noone on premises. No train ride. Not even sure you do the ropes course
It's really a shame that it appears to be closed down now. It could be such a cute, quirky and fun tourist stop. Hopefully someone rescues this and revives it! 🍍
Melissa Campbell — Google review
It might be just a big pineapple, but it’s one of those iconic “big things” dotted around Australia. Up close it is actually very detailed (unlike some of the other “big things”) and make a great photo.
If you’re passing by then it’s definitely worth stopping for a photo. And it’s only 10 min from the Sunshine Coast airport.
Gustav — Google review
Currently, unfortunately it's not what it used to be. You can't go inside the pineapple, you can't ride the train, nothing is growing there and the shop has minimal stock. You can still take photos in front of the giant pineapple with minimal wait. I was told that big things are planned, so watch this space. Hopefully not too much longer.
Leonel Santos — Google review
Don’t waste you time.
Nothing worth while what a disappointment.
There is a pretty lame looking take away with a few tables outside. Everything is chained up. You can’t even go into the pineapple and the train isn’t operating. Nothing is.
The only thing you can do is take a pic of the big pineapple which doesn’t look that bad from the outside.
I read up about it on Wikipedia. You wonder how a place that had 1m visitors a year could go into receivership.
I went there A LONG LONG time ago and it was pretty dam good but wow what a disappointment now.
The only reason you’d come here is if you like to see and photo all the BIG things in Australia
Gina Portelli — Google review
Run down.
Basically not operational.
Small shop selling food and gifts.
Apart from getting a photo with the Pineapple, dont bother making a special trip to see it.
Shayne Poole — Google review
Well this place has died since I went as a child. Nothing to do here anymore. Go for a photo with a big pineapple (you can't go inside anymore). And that's about it! There is a treetop adventure climb thingy (that we didn't do, but looked fun. It seemed mostly primary schooled aged children were doing it). And there is a zoo here now, (gone are the days of a $5 feeding bag for the kangaroos.), We didn't do it as it's a different thing now. But looks pretty good. Had monkeys and cappyburras at least (from what I saw from the outside). Well my memories of the the glory days of the big pineapple are now only that memories. Go get a photo for nostalgia sake! Before they remove this last bit!
Christian Sommer — Google review
This is just a relic of what it used to be when I was here as a child and there was actually a pineapple plantation here along with cool train ride through the field. Now all that is left is the icon and a field of grass behind it. We've come here twice since those childhood memories and both times it's been bucketing with rain, perhaps the heavens are telling us something. Come for the memories because there isn't much left of anything else it used to be.

Great challenges for adults and children. There are height restrictions on the more challenging courses and low and easier courses for the kids. The staff are very supportive and ensure everyone is safe.
Lance Mackenzie — Google review
We did the tree top challenge and it's sooooo fun! It's safe doing the challenge and will definitely come back to finish the challenge. For my self, I need some warmth up to have the endurance to finish all the challenge. It's worth a visit and every penny. Just sore body on the next day.

I knew one day that big pineapple would roll of its stand😐and one day it did!!! It rolled as fast as the speed of light down the street and smashed my car into smithereens😱😨😫🍍

Opened on 15 August 1971, The Big Pineapple is an iconic heritage and tourism landmark in Queensland. If you’re driving along Bruce Highway, it is a sight that you definitely can’t miss. At 16 metres in height, it was first built for that purpose, to attract the attention of commuters passing by the area. Today, it is also home to the award winning Big Pineapple Music Festival.

It is yellow, big, and spikey. It fulfils all the conditions for a big pineapple. However my very vague memories of coming here as a 6 year old were a lot cooler. You can't go inside it anymore so it's basically a spot to pose in front of for a photo and then leave, which is what we did.
Sophie Charlotte — Google review
I visited here in 2008 and I loved it. Great experience. Amazing fresh pineapple and other products.
It seems it closed in 2010 and sat derelict since then. There is a tiny little cafe there which is barely worth mentioning.
Amazingly, they sell no pineapple products! The staff also seemed not really interested.
The actual pineapple is still there. But not worth your time to visit.

Contemporary museum overlooking the bay exploring island history with a kids' zone & gift shop.
An enjoyable way to learn about Bribie Island history.

My kids absolutely loved this museum (age 5, 7 and 15). The 5 year old was asking to go back! I loved learning the history of the island, and the nostalgic 80s section was awesome.
Colleen Leslie — Google review
Very nice place to visit when you are walking on the beach. The entry is free, very clean and well maintained, have some old videogame consoles for kids and lot of interesting things about the past of the Bribie Island culture and habits. Also a good place to refill your water bottle with filtered and cold water. :)
Ricardo Martins — Google review
Zero acknowledgment of the original indigenous people of the area. No mention of their tribal names, languages, sacred places, artefacts or cultural perspectives on history of the area. Too much emphasis on the triumphant achievements of the European settlers (invaders). The place needs a complete overhaul and rethink

Bribie Island Seaside Museum has many interactive activities such as origami and a bird hunt for kids.
Interesting artefacts from Bribie Island history such as growth of tourism and arrival of holidaymakers via the popular steamboat ferry. There is an informative display about Bongaree who was Mathew Flinders travelling companion and the man who the town is named after. Feline lovers will appreciate the exhibit about Flinders seafaring cat Trim.
Take in the sight of a variety of sea creatures preserved in specimen bottles.
Learn about local reclusive artist Ian Fairweather including his extraordinary raft journey from Darwin to Roti, his love of local wildlife and use of Asian painting techniques.
Marvel at the distances flown by local migrating shorebirds.
Pleasing free outing.

The museum Is interesting for adults and kids. For adults there’s a wide variety of different historical collections relevant to the area. For kids (and big kids -ok, I’m Guilty) there is a free-drawing space with an “invitation” to do some more directed stuff.
Took three kids there and they stayed for over an hour looking and doing different things.

Booked early for the Ian Fairweather event this afternoon. What a fabulous event, presented extremely well by the museum staff and volunteers. What a lovely historical transport back in time with speakers that had pathed ways and interactions with Ian Fairweather. It was wonderful to then speak with others in the community that were locals from the past and life from the early years of Bribie.Highly recommend and would appreciate events such as this in the future.

Unique walkway honoring the namesake pop group with statues, photos & a musical light show.
Great free streetside museum that’s open to the public 24-7! Really cool, commemorating the Gibb brothers careers and rise to fame! At night they boast a light show and there is a continuous stream of their biographies and highlights in an outdoor big screen and of course their many hits! Then you can stroll down the boardwalk at Moreton Bay! Beautiful!

10/10 for a public memorial

This is a walk way between shops, so totally free. It's set out so well. You can take a leisurely stroll whilst listening to Bee Gee's music which is played continuously. There is so many photos and information to look at and read along your stroll. The status are great and very life like. It is out doors so if raining you will need an umbrella.

Awesome tribute and mini museum to the Bee Gees. Inside not know that they were from Moreton Bay and the entire display was not only very informative but entertaining and organised very well. There is a free light show on every night along with a documentary interviewing the Bee Gees. Great trip down memory lane as my parents loved the Bee Gees and I listened to them as a kid.

Bee Gees Way is located in Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe QLD 4020.
This unique place was put together in collaboration with Barry Gibbs, who is the living member of the Bee Gees.
This 70 metre walk, though Bee Gees Way takes into account the musical history of this fabulous family group of talented musicians, their truly wonderful range of music created over many years together.
You can relax & listen to the many songs & videos that are available 24 hours a day.
The wonderful facilities that have been created through Barry Gibbs & others are definitely worth visiting this magnificent area of the Redcliffe Peninsular.
You can sit down & just take in the nostalgic range of everything that the Bee Gees had to offer over the decades past.

A fantastic (and free!) side street museum dedicated to the Bee Gees and commemorating the Gibb brother's rise to fame. There's a wide range of information boards, photos, status and music playing, in addition to a television screen streaming their biographies and highlights of their careers. In the evening there's a light show and this attraction is great for all ages (our son loved it too!).

A successful street montage on the life and lives of the Bee Gees, the three Gibb brothers, and the family's ups and downs. This is a very honest presentation that benefits from have time to read the details. Very positive, can get uncomfortably busy and cramped. The tinny music is a bit too much. Good to see the display is lovingly maintained. Definitely not a fake.

Great experience overall. We went for one day trip. We visited main beach, Point lookout, Blue Lake, Brown lake, Amity Point. Point lookout is No.1 place to visit such a peaceful place, you would amaze by hearing waves and wind sounds. Amity point and main beach good place for spending time on sand and in water. Brown lake is good for fishing. Suggestion - Book Ferry from Brisbane recommend departing time 08 am, return ferry 05 or 06 pm perfect for 1 day trip.

Have travelled on the vehicle ferry twice in the past 2 weeks and although we always find the office staff and checking in staff extremely helpful, both times we’ve been very disappointed with the attitude of some of the staff directing us onto the boat. Clearly they don’t want to be there but no need to take their frustrations out on the customers. Has made the experience unpleasant to say the least.

Minjerribah, aka North Stradbroke Island, is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited on this planet 🌏! Some say it has the highest healing energy in South East Qld, and it is home to so much native wildlife and marine life. The beaches are white and sandy, the waters are cool and vibrantly turquoise, and the wind can be wild or balmy but it’s usually basking in sunshine. We’ve been coming here regularly for more than 30 years, and so hope to return for another 30 more!!!

I recently had the pleasure of taking the Sealink ferry to North Stradbroke Island, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless and enjoyable.
Firstly, the ferry itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The seating options were ample, and I had no trouble finding a spot with a great view. The crew members were friendly and professional, and they made sure everyone felt welcome and taken care of throughout the journey.
The crossing itself was smooth and scenic. As we sailed across Moreton Bay, I couldn't help but admire the breathtaking views of the water and the surrounding islands. It was a peaceful and relaxing ride, allowing me to truly unwind and enjoy the beauty of the area.
Upon arrival at North Stradbroke Island, I was impressed by the efficiency of the disembarkation process. The crew ensured a quick and organized exit, allowing passengers to start their island adventure without any delays.
Overall, I highly recommend the Sealink ferry to North Stradbroke Island. The experience was top-notch, and it made my trip to the island even more memorable. Whether you're a local looking for a quick getaway or a tourist wanting to explore the natural wonders of Queensland, the Sealink ferry is the perfect way to start your island adventure.

Great experience on the barge. There are multiple viewing platforms with a windy chill. There is an indoor seating area upstairs to get out of the wind. There is a cafe with food available but it's a short trip over to Stradbroke taking about an hour. Saw a few dolphins as well so not a bad way to travel

I have been on 2 different types of Vessel carriers from SeaLink and in my opinion the one with the vehicle ramp has a much better lounge area. Highly recommend the authorities to have more such luxurious carriers.
Having said that, the old ones are good too.
The extra courteous , ever smiling staff on board makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Convenient shopping centre, better than Chermside as it's a lot less busy. Always easy to find a car park. Great atmosphere in the outdoor dining area. Also great facilities for families with young children. Good parents rooms with private areas for feeding babies, baby change facilities, parents/child toilets and toddler play areas.

There has to be a more streamline way for people to exit the car parks. During peak and non peak times I seem to always get caught behind someone that has an issue with payment. Either way Westfield North Lakes has a great range of shops and has always got ample parking.

Good Westfield with a good selection of retailers. The only thing a don't like about this centre is the layout is shocking in terms of design. There are three main walkways in here but none of them are interconnected, so you have to walk all the way back the way you came if you want to go to another section.

We had a lovely tour this morning followed by pizzas for lunch from the Cellar Door Cafe. Our tour was with Christine. She was amazing, and so knowledgeable!! I've been a regular at Sirromet for years and always loved the atmosphere and quality food an wine.
This weekend I went to the Terrace for a family event which had beautiful surroundings and great service but underwhelming food. Everything came out looking lovely however most of the pizzas where lacking in ingredients and flavour. More herbs and garlic in the pizza sauce and even ingredient distribution would have done wonders.
Some of the starters where also super small considering the price. I understand the up market demographic and appreciate artistic presentation however that shouldn't diminish value and flavour.

The place is great for family gatherings either indoor or outdoor. However, the service level really needs to improve, given there were not many people there at around 3:00pm Sunday, the serving speed was ridiculously slow. We only have positive experiences to share. The venue is stunning, located on a hillside with wonderful valley views. The wines are tasty and the vibes with live music are very enjoyable. We went on a Sunday and apparently it was too busy to do wine tasting so we were disappointed. We took the 20$ 4 wines choice instead (reds), but felt like it wasn’t the best wine ever.
On Sunday it was a family day here and a lot of kids playing around football etc.
Still a great time.

Our food today was delicious and came out fast. The Sav wine was nice. We were very disappointed with service though. It was only moderately busy but took almost 20 mins for the 5 or so wait staff we saw to come and take our lunch order. 3 other tables had their order taken and they arrived after us. The person who eventually took our order knew we wanted drinks but never bothered to came back for the order. Staff walked right by us numerous times and ignored us while we tried to make eye contact, waiting for them to come over and take our order and give us table water. It was like we were invisible.

Wonderful winery close to Brisbane. Great selection of wines, including a Saperavi that I learnt to appreciate in Georgia. The grapes are mostly harvested in higher regions in or close to NSW. The wine tasting was great - very pleasant and insightful host. The selection of food accompanying the wine was a bit limited, unfortunately for my son, who was a bit too hungry for olives and cold cuts only.

Live music (including Christmas carols) was nice. However, the corner staging area didn't create the best acoustics and location for photographs.
The service from start to finish was excellent and professional, friendly and attentive.
The food was magnificent and on par to the listed Launceston UNESCO City of Gastronomy. Flavoursome with almost every bite. The presentation throughout all the dishes was lovely. The Turkey on the main plate could have been slightly more moist. Dessert was sweet with a little bit for everyone's tastebuds and very filling.
The main letdown was the coffee 😕
As a coffee lover, barista, and business owner, it was disappointing to taste an over extracted double expresso in a large cup (not an espresso cup) because they had run out after having such lovely meals.
Overall, it was a fantastic
Christmas Day event thanks to all the organisers, floor team, and kitchen teams. Thank you 😊

We had a beautiful lunch at Tuscan Terrace, the seafood tower for two was generous in size and had such fresh seafood. Our waiters were so lovely too, Sam is a true asset to your team!

Wine tasting was okay. Found it strange that we only had one glass that was refilled for each of the (premium) wines we chose. This means you start off with bubbles, all the way through white - red - dessert wines in one glass... beautiful place. Nice GF ice creams and desserts.

Roma Street Parkland is a 16 hectare urban park located in the heart of Brisbane, Australia, designed by Lawrence Halstead and opened in 2001. The park features display gardens, waterways and an amphitheater and is popular with locals and tourists alike for its relaxing setting, excellent wildlife spotting opportunities, playgrounds for the kids, music festivals and alcohol consumption.
These are exceptionally lovely gardens. So peaceful and relaxed. Easily accessible from Roma St Station. It was so wonderful to be able to walk around and see the plantings and watch the lizards. Really recommend to all those who arrive early for their trains. It's worth it to actually get to your train too early!

Had a beautiful few hours here. Many beds are in full bloom, with others not far away. Fragrance permeates the air and whether or not you are a gardener, it's a good place to be. I use a mobility scooter and the accessibility is excellent. There are lots of places to sit and just enjoy the views.
There is a playground and lots of picnic areas.

I think Roma Street Parkland is underrated! It’s so beautiful here and so much to explore. So many spots to sit and have a picnic as well. The fountain is absolutely stunning.. and there’s even penguins. Just kidding but the ducks are so cute. Not really too many places to park but to be honest this is the first time I’ve been here so didn’t look too hard. There’s even a few playgrounds for kids too.

I love this parkland. It's much bigger than it looks and there is plenty to explore, with footpaths and bridges taking you on different routes. There is also a nice flattish area of grass where you can enjoy a picnic or some sports. Overall really chilled place to spend a weekend or after work

Amazing public gardens. Many beautiful lush zones to explore, it rivals most botanic gardens we've visited. Two small, but very cleverly designed and lovely play equipment spaces. Again, clean and well maintained. The larger of the two is aimed at younger children and my toddler and baby had a wonderful time exploring the space. The pathways are clean and clear, the whole park was immaculately maintained and tended too. We saw lots of cheerful workers who were all happy to stop and wave and chat to my 2 year old who was fascinated with their ATVS and bright uniforms. There was a more than ample amount of BBQs and covered picnic tables. Parking was easy to find on street within the park and we paid a very reasonable $5 an hour and were a three metre walk from the bridge entrance. Our only complaint was that the Parkland Explorer train is no longer running, it's been moved out to the Ipswich Rail Museum. It would have been absolutely magical to ride the train through the park and we very much hope it is reinstated soon!

Amazing with so many beautiful flowers. Easily accessible by public transport and a great place for slightly older people because the walking path will suit their needs. I had an amazing volunteer who explained to me a little bit about history and different flowers there. There's even a children's playground and plenty of quiet spaces to catch up on your reading.

What a beautiful parkland. Bursting with spring colours and plenty of paths to explore. We saw lots of water dragons in and around the gardens and water. Everywhere we went we could hear the sound of running water. Just beautiful. The kids enjoyed a play at the playground and loved all the creative seats and vegetable gardens as well. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful and well maintained park! It’s good to see that there are many seating areas, toilet is nice and tidy. There’s a flower exhibition during our visit and it was great to see! Hats off the Roma park management and to all of your gardeners!

Have visited this parkland many times since it opened in 2001 & it never fails to please. Spread out over 27 acres, the vibrant displays of flowers are changed frequently, attracting birds & lizards. There are walkways & water features plus a great onsite cafe. A place to relax & enjoy so close to the centre of town

Exceptional gardens, ingeniously designed planting and layout packs a huge variety of experiences from walking through tree canopies to exploring cool shaded fern gullies with garden rooms of bright flowers and interesting water features. If you love nature and only have time to explore one place in Brisbane this would be my top recommendation. Bring a sun hat and camera! Congratulations to the talented gardens team for their work and to Council for having the vision to keep these gardens so well maintained as the gardens have grown into a superb experience for tourists and residents alike!

Great place to take the family for a picnic. Usually has a lot of free events on throughout the year. The gardens are always so vibrant & very well maintained, with cool garden designs to keep you intrigued. Great place for photographers to come take photos of nature. Does have public toilets, a park for the little ones, bubblers & a lovely Cafe.

Fantastic. A great place for full day out. There is plenty to see and do. The parks are family friendly and there was plenty of seating available at the time of visit. The amenities were clean and functional. They also had disability support available and mothers change rooms as well.
I have been told that there is an excellent guided tour available which makes the Parkland even more interesting. I have not had that experience as at time of this review.

Awesome parkland, lots to explore. The children's play area is good, the water fall was picturesque and the toy train journey was really good for the kids. It had a bit wait time, though, but worth it. The gardens are beautiful. A good place to spend a day.

Absolutely beautiful gardens fitting for a clean city like Brisbane! Lots to do here and easy to get lost in adventure while going for a casual walk. The gardens are well maintained with waterfalls and water park features to provide lush ambient sounds drowning out the city noise. Very relaxing place!

A very relaxing place to visit in contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. There are multiple zones through the parkland dedicated to different types of garden and flora.
Many flower beds are in full bloom, with others not far away. Fragrance permeates the air combined with vivid colours, which can be appreciated by all.
The park has multiple seating and viewing areas where people can stop and enjoy their surroundings. The one detraction from this is the multiple signs everywhere telling you what you can't do.
Accessibility is good for all throughout the park via wide pathways, which is great for those who are mobility restricted.
There are picnic and fantastic playground areas catering to families. There are multiple picnic sites with BBQs. The playgrounds are integrated with the gardens and the terrain, allowing for a great experience for the younger ones.
There are ample public facilities (toilets, baby change, etc) which are well maintained and clean. There are also cafe/shop options. However, the ones internal to the parkland are only open on weekends.
I appreciated the ANZAC corner, which had a very well maintained area for quite remembrance.
It is a small annoyance, but it is a pity that the external entrances are so far apart.
It is a great place to visit with something new to see/discover every time you wander in.

What a magical place. Enjoy miles of walking/biking trails amongst the largest sub tropical garden in the world. The grounds are beautifully maintained, very clean, and peaceful. There are numerous large lawn areas for picnics and tables set throughout the park. The children's garden is nestled under the trees with plenty of playground equipment. Kudos to the creators and those who care for it.

Roma Street Parkland is a tranquil haven nestled in the heart of Brisbane. This lush and meticulously landscaped park is a breath of fresh air, both figuratively and literally, in the midst of the city's urban landscape. The park is a testament to thoughtful urban planning, offering a diverse range of experiences for visitors.
One of the highlights of Roma Street Parkland is its beautifully curated gardens. From the stunning Spectacle Garden with its vibrant floral displays to the calming Rainforest Walk, there's something for every nature enthusiast. The meticulously maintained lawns and water features add to the park's serenity.
The park also boasts excellent recreational facilities, including playgrounds for children, making it a great family destination.

Well-maintained and beautiful gardens in the middle of the city. Lots of street parking spots around the gardens, but can get busy on a beautiful day. For a first timer exiting at the same spot as entering can be tricky, so keep note of the entry point.

Really great park. Beautifully manicured gardens. Fantastic lawns to chill on and play sports L. Amenities are clean. Lots of tables and Bbq's. Fun play ground for kids - not big enough though. .I think the only thing that has changed and for the worse is the train costing $6 each to ride. It was gold coin donation just 6 years ago.

A very nice park with only one negative point. Many plastic bottles in the pond and the small creek which are not removed. If you are in a wheelchair you can easily reach certain points on your own when you are sporty, you can for the upper part you need help.

Roman Street Parkland in Brisbane is a true urban oasis, a gem nestled in the heart of the city. From the moment you step into this lush paradise, you're greeted with a sense of tranquility that is hard to find in the bustling cityscape. The park's well-manicured lawns, vibrant flower beds, and towering trees offer a picturesque escape that invigorates the soul. It's not just the greenery that makes Roman Street Parkland exceptional; the thoughtfully designed walking paths, which meander through the park, invite visitors to enjoy a leisurely stroll or a brisk walk, all while basking in the beauty of nature.
The attention to detail in this park is astounding. The playgrounds are a delight, offering a safe and exciting environment for children to play and explore. The benches strategically placed throughout the park provide perfect spots for relaxation or for simply soaking in the serene atmosphere. The water features add a calming element, their gentle sounds providing a soothing backdrop to the natural setting.
The park's maintenance team deserves a special mention for their relentless efforts in keeping the space pristine and welcoming. Their hard work ensures that every visit to Roman Street Parkland is as enjoyable as the last.

Absolutely amazing experience when visiting! Highly recommend for both tourists and locals. The scenery was magnificent. So many different flowers, plants, trees, water features, and little critters were there to soak in!
The sounds of the city are completely drowned out, which contributed amazingly to a quiet and peaceful experience. The abundance of flora made the air smell sweeter and clean.
There is a playground within the area for little ones to enjoy and to give parents and guardians a spot to sit and rest. It was fairly clean all things considered, and hazards are limited.
Multiple events are held at this location throughout the year for families to enjoy, and they're rather spectacular!
A huge highlight of this location is its accessibility. I had 0 trouble getting around with my wheelchair from start to finish. The pathways are wide enough to accommodate more than one wheelchair user side by side, and the steepest hills are still manageable when using a manual wheelchair.
I intend to visit again, and highly recommend this location for all ages.

This elegant Brisbane casino and hotel has a delightful high tea for mothers, with bubbly wine and delicious food. It's also home to 6 restaurants and 5 bars.
I don't visit here often, nor been since the beginning of the pandemic.
But upon our visit on Tuesday afternoon our wedding, we enjoyed a quiet few drinks and gamble on the floors.
Clean and tidy, with courteous staff.

I stayed in the hotel with my daughter for her birthday. We booked a king parlour room with breakfast included. We found parking easy and affordable, on check in we were told we were gifted a $50 food/beverage credit for any bar / restaurant in either the hotel or casino. We were also given a late check out of 12pm without asking which was very much appreciated. The room was perfect. The breakfast included a choice of one cold and one hot dish from a list of each. The location was perfect. The staff were all very helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Ah the sounds of casino winners all around. Sadly, not me. I may as well have thrown my money on the floor and gone outside to enjoy the velvet evening air.
On the plus side, there are tons of slot machines and it’s a lively place. Join The Star Club for some good perks.

Look, great hotel, service was perfect, you can hardly fault the place, but a word of warning to anyone looking to hire the Casino Suite here. DO NOT let them give you room 3250! The room itself when you walk in is amazing, but upstairs there is an ensuite that has a continuous running water issue in the pipe in the floor. You can hear it..... ALL NIGHT. I asked them to check and they say it is normal. I couldn't sleep a wink and closing the door did nothing.
Like I said, the place is amazing though, just stay away from that room.

Amazing experience staying at The Treasury! The rooms (and the ceiling heights!) were incredible, and the vibe of the whole hotel was relaxed and welcoming. The staff were all phenomenal, particularly Grant (concierge) and Christina (restaurant). Grant anticipated all our needs and was so personable. Christina was such a lovely and attentive waitress. Plus the food portions included with the breakfast were huge! The hotel is also very close to the Botanical gardens and to all the food and shops, so a great location for us. The whole experience was great - we'll be staying here every time we go to Brisbane from now on.

Superb location, nice staff, amazing architecture (back to 150+ years ago - high ceiling, dark wood etc)
Very convoluted structUre, it’s 2 separate buildings with parking in between (under a park that separates buildings) it’s hard to find your room, reception, restaurant, parking, lifts, gym, everything.
Lighting inside the room was way less than enough. Had difficulty finding my stuff in the early morning.
Will I stay here again? No
Will I come again for a visit or nice meal/coffee? Definitely yes

The Casino itself is old and rundown, hence why it is being replaced I guess. Carpet and general interior needs a renovation.
Lack of selection with electronic gaming machines as well, heavily focused on dragon links, dollar storms and bullfighters.
Tables are still good, though hard to find a spot when it’s really busy.
Service was great, had some really friendly and professional dealers, particularly “Den” was great. Personable, fun and respectful all at once.
Beverage options extremely limited, same as catering options.
All in all a good experience but bring on the new casino.

I've been here many times. Great atmosphere and great food. The reason for the 4-star rating is due my recent experience (April 2022), where the meals all came out at different times, waiting at least 5 to 10 minutes per meal, meaning people started eating so as to not let the food get cold, whilst others watched. Other than that, perfect.

I recently visited the Brisbane casinos, and my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. While the service left much to be desired, the overall building, spacious rooms, and the abundance of slot machines and live gaming tables were impressive.
Let's start with the positives. The architecture and design of the Brisbane casinos are truly remarkable. The building itself is a sight to behold, with a blend of modern and classic elements that create a luxurious atmosphere. The spacious rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, providing a pleasant stay during my visit.
One of the highlights of the casinos was the extensive selection of slot machines. There were plenty of options to choose from, ensuring that even the most avid slot player would find something to enjoy. Additionally, the live gaming tables offered a variety of classic casino games, from blackjack to roulette, providing entertainment for all types of gamblers.
However, the service aspect left much to be desired. The staff seemed a bit disinterested and lacked the warmth and attentiveness one would expect in a high-end establishment. It was evident that the customer service could use some improvement, and this aspect of the experience did mar the overall visit.
Furthermore, it's worth noting that some of the gaming areas felt a bit dated. While the building itself was impressive, some of the equipment and furnishings in the gaming areas could use a refresh to match the modern aesthetic of the rest of the facility.
In summary, the Brisbane casinos offer a unique experience with their stunning building, spacious rooms, and a wide array of gaming options. However, the service quality and the dated aspects of the live gaming areas were disappointing. If you're primarily interested in the ambiance and gaming choices, it's worth a visit, but be prepared for a less-than-stellar service experience.

Took a visiting business colleague for breakfast at LAB. Service was great. Food was excellent. Coffee was hot and I just love the old worldly charm of the place. I feel as though I'm in a luxurious and charming early to mid 1900's Vienna hotel. High ceilings, thick walls and dark wood panelling. Some beautiful old hotels like this in Germany too. An elegance we seem to be missing being such a young country. Only my opinion and some may not agree with me and that is allowed.
Raymond Row — Google review
As you look at the old building from the outside and the surroundings, it seems almost out of place. Inside also has an old school charm as i wonder if the lift will work or should I just take the stairs. The room is big, and the ceiling is high. I sink into the soft king bed with pillows full of clouds and snuggle into the blanket with the air-conditioning on. I fill up the bathtub with bubbles. As i sip on a glass of champagne. In this room, the windows are on the inside, so there is no view.
I give 5 stars to the night manager, who i think his name is Joe. For being very polite as i turned up late from a stressful day travelling.
Overall the staff were nice. Location is easy to walk to places or catch public transport. Parking was not hard to find.

This casino is located in an old building, which is nice and interesting, but it needed to be renovated inside the building for a better atmosphere and feeling. The casino looks too old, low quality air-conditioning with limited table games. Most of the bars look not fancy and/or luxury. This is a place people come to spend money on and enjoy. Hence, it is necessary to evaluate Brisbane casino for sure to grab more people and more money!

What a great experience we had at the Treasury Hotel. We managed to get a great deal online for the weekend, and included parking, breakfast and $50 off our meals at night that we had at the Black Hide and The Fat Noodle over at the Casino.
Every staff member was professional, friendly and helpful, and their attention to detail for our anniversary was really appreciated. We have mentioned our anniversary a few times before at different venues, but there was never any recognition of the moment. We were given a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, and our dinner reservation at the Black Hide was also acknowledged with the best seat in the house and complimentary dessert. Then each breakfast we were made to feel a little special as well. Not that we were expecting all of that, but it makes a difference to your stay when it happens.
The rooms were a decent size for 2 people but felt a lot larger due to the high ceilings. It would have been nice to be able to open the door onto the verandah for some fresh air and to be able to appreciate the view outside more, but I guess they are locked for safety reasons. The facilities in the room were pretty good and what you would expect for the price. The bed was really comfortable too. Some areas looked a little tired, perhaps just due to the age of the building, but overall the hotel was very clean, with housekeeping doing a great job in our room.
There was a real sense of nostalgia wandering the hallways and you could imagine what it was like in times past, as they've done a great job of keeping many of the original features and character of the building.
Despite all the construction going on with the new casino, we didn't hear any noise. This might be different though during the week or if you have a room on the eastern side or southern side.
The location is probably one of the best in the city, in my opinion. South Bank is easily accessible, the Botanic gardens are a short walk away, and it's 5 minutes to the mall.
Overall, we had a great experience here and will definitely go back. I'd highly recommend staying here.

This is a brilliant service which runs up the Brisbane river. We took the cat from south bank to north shore Hamilton. A 2 hour ticket was just over 4 dollars for an adult. This also offered a hop on off facility .

Great trip on the river around the city. Nice new and clean stations, friendly staff, clean and tidy ferry's.
BUT NO WAY TO BUY A TICKET.
You've got services, crew on board, lighting and power just put in a kiosk where you can purchase a go card. Extremely frustrating when you are travelling from interstate.
Failing that how about an app on ya fone

Bossy staff, only letting 8 people on the ferry at a time (although the ferry offered much more seats). We waited for half an hour and then still didn't get on the ferry, so we decided to take the bus instead. Bit disappointing.

The staff were absolutely amazing , with the incredible Camille offering sunblock to hubby and me, so that we could continue standing at the front and soaking up the views. More often than not we encounter a friendly welcoming crew but it’s not an ideal mode of transport if you’re in a hurry and please please sort out the payment method. Every trip we see people boarding and deliberately not paying as well as tourists who want to pay and are obviously confused by the fare purchasing advice, which compared to other services is antiquated and cumbersome. Please introduce EFTPOS facilities, most people have this payment method on them.

Good spot to get a ferry up or down the river from South Bank. The terminal is well designed with plenty of space, even when it's busy. There is a ramp for accessibility and some seating. The whole process is pretty efficient. The views from the river are fantastic on a nice day.

The ferries were good and the crew were helpful. However, we were visiting Brisbane and we couldn't buy a ticket or get one through an app. We had a 10 minute walk to a spot to sell a ticket. Not good enough for the handicapped or seniors.Come on Brisbane this is 2023

This is a review of the CityCats rather than this particular CityCat terminal- which is all much the same.
Riding a CityCat is a must for any visitor to Brisbane and a surprisingly rewarding experience for locals.
This is the ultimate way to see the variety of Brisbane lifestyle, buildings and landmarks in a relatively inexpensive and easy to use service.
Depending on how much have, you can explore Brisbane from the quiet rescue residential area of St Lucia to the busy reaches of the Brisbane river around Hamilton.
The CityCat is part of the TransLink network so you use your GoCard or [or it’s soon to be introduced Smart Ticketing]
Simply tap on and ride the CityCat for the entire round trip.
For example, if you get on at South Bank, go upstream to the University of Qld, stay on the boat and then go right to Hamilton, stay on the boat and return to South Bank.
That round would trip will take about two hours and 40 minutes all up. The off-peak cost for an adult at the time of writing is $3.37.
But you can jump on and off and off and if you get back on without an hour it is considered as a continuation of your journey for the one fare.
The new generation of CityCats has a top deck that you ride on. Otherwise, the front or rear decks provide an exhilarating experience.
Full details of the CityCats are at the TransLink website or the Translink app

Located on the South Bank of Brisbane, the Wheel of Brisbane is a popular attraction with 360 degree panoramic views. It is modeled after the London Eye and includes 42 capsules to fit the whole family. The ride lasts 12 minutes and features many of Brisbane's iconic attractions.
Great communication from staff and service was quick. We went around 5 times and enjoyed the ride. We didn't have to wait long as it wasnt crowded at all. A must do when your in the area. Cafes and restaurants near by and beautiful views of the city. Kids under age of 4 are free. Air conditioned inside. They even have a vip carriage. There is no free car parking near only across the road under the museum but costs $15 for 2hrs and can get very expensive the longer you stay. Alot of parking though and easy to direct from the car park to the ferris wheel.

Good experience, the wheel provides a beautiful, picturesque view of the Brisbane city, you can look far and wide from your cabin but it's a bit pricey though. We paid $65 for 2 adults n 2 kids under 11 and family photo. The wheel is located at very happening location. There is beautiful walking track on the south Bank where you can also ride electric bikes/scooters.

An iconic attraction in Brisbane, and some pleasant views of the river and Brisbane skyline from the wheel. The queues were relatively short at our time of visiting, and we had an entire cabin to ourselves. We circulated about 5 times and were on the wheel for about 10 minutes or so. Staff were helpful and it was an enjoyable experience. The optional photos are quite expensive ($28).

There is nothing you can see that you cannot see from the bridge already. They took us round and round 5 times. The windows were dirty. The commentary was quite low volume so we didn't hear the story at all. We had a toddler with us so I actually didn't hear almost anything 😂 We came at 21:30, there were no lines. The staff was friendly. But I don't recommend it.

On a nice day, views on the Wheel of Brisbane are phenomenal. A great place for tourists to capture the stunning sights of the river and the city. The ride is approximately 15 minutes. On the ride, an audio recording will play to describe any particularly interesting sites nearby. The capsules are air conditioned.

Nice activity to do during a hot summer day! The carriage has air con so you can cool down :) there are many great views to take in during the rotations on the wheel - a total of 5 rotations
You receive a guide as well as audio which explains the surrounding sights and attractions.

Similar to the opening of the wheel at Marina Bay, Singapore this wheel was also erected the same year of 2008.
Wheels come in various sizes and can be found at many locations, including traveling carnivals, amusement parks, and tourist destinations.
The enormous rides, which include enclosed cabins and rotate slowly, are now generally referred to as "observation wheels," whereas smaller versions like this one and includes portable models, are still called "Ferris wheels."
This particular Ferris Wheel is iconic to South Bank promenade positioned beside the Brisbane River for all to enjoy should the desire of appeal attract you to do so.
It provides 42 air conditioned capsules holding a total passenger capacity of 336.

"Mesmerizing Views, Unforgettable Experience: The Wheel of Brisbane is a must-visit attraction in the heart of the city. Offering breathtaking panoramic views of Brisbane's skyline and the iconic Brisbane River, a ride on this giant observation wheel is an experience you won't want to miss. Perfect for families, couples, or solo adventurers, the Wheel of Brisbane provides a memorable journey above the city, day or night. Don't forget your camera to capture the magical moments from the top!"
The wheel runs for three times. The ticket is $18.

Better visit at night, you can see the whole Brisbane view, I remember buy in the website will cheap $1 or $2 than on the spot, around 10mis or turns 5 times with voice introduction. And the room have air conditioner so don’t feel hot inside. However, when u come in you will be asked to take a photo in front of a green screen, then the staff will ask you if you want to pay a fee for that pics when u finish the wheel.

Beautiful views from the wheel of Brisbane. The price is a bit to high but the scene is lovely. The city from the banks of the river overlooking to the corporate buildings is amazing. Must visit if in Brisbane.

The Wheel of Brisbane offers a breathtaking view of the city skyline from above. Its slow, smooth rotation ensures a relaxed and enjoyable budget friendly experience for all ages.
For the views and memories it offers, the price is very reasonable. It's a great value for money.

We had a lovely time on the wheel. It was so cool to see the city at night from so high high up. And we were allowed to go around 5 times, definitely got our moneys worth. We went after dinner and there was no wait at all. Plus, there's a nice photo opportunity if you're looking for a momento.

River front area is great with lot of options for cycling, e-Scooters, walking across the bridge, ferry station etc. Lot of areas for family picnics or just walk around the river basin. Great views. Night time ride experience is great and recommended.

Ever wanted to see Brisbane from a high vantage in middle of the city, this is the next best thing to a helicopter ride.
Highly recommend to try this at the time of sun set, magnificent colours, sceneries, and the wheel takes 4-5 rounds for one trip.
The staff is quite good as well, they don’t stack up people, if you come alone, you will have an gondola for yourself.
One of the best things to try in Brisbane city..
Amila Premakumara — Google review
The wheel is definitely a good experience for tourists. The views from the top are great and the prices are fair. When we visited, a student discount was offered such that we only paid $18 per person. The wheel first makes a long stop at the top where you can enjoy the view. Then, we did another ~3 rounds without stopping. Brisbane is beautiful light up during the night such that I would say that both daytime and nighttime rides are worth it. Although I am usually not a friend of overpriced tourist wheels, this one offers good value for money!

The Wheel of Brisbane is a nice experience, but not a great experience. Enjoying a day with the kids, hey dad lets do that, 5 minutes and $60+ later we are going for a ride.. Its not about the way it is run or the way it looks itself, the simple fact is at the highest point you may look over a part of south bank but that is moldy roofs, or a side on view to tall business towers, not worth it.
Paul Zomer — Google review
A bit pricey but fun if you're with a group or it's the first time going. Make it worthwhile. We went in the evening and it was so worth the night walk and night views. They let us go a few extra rounds before they close. Be there 120 minutes before closing time though!

Had a great experience on The Wheel with my young child! Would definitely go on it again with kids or friends visiting. We went on a Sunday mid-afternoon and didn’t have to wait in line for tickets. I wasn’t prepared for the photograph they take at the start though and being produced with copies to buy once I stepped off!
Looks beautiful at night from the hotel window too 😍

The views are nice and it is a romantic rides, but the cabin I was in had the glass scratched so much that you could barely see anything at all… Also the AC was pumped up so much that we felt like in a fridge.

The Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane is a modern and contemporary art gallery that offers temporary exhibitions as well as a wide collection of works by both international and Australian artists. The Children's Art Centre at the gallery allows kids to become engaged with art through exhibits that are often brightly coloured andboldly designed.

A lot of aboriginal art as you'd expect, some modern European art but not as much as I was hoping to see as I'm interested in all art not just one culture. The tours that explain the art are fab and free so definitely worth doing. You can spend as little as an hour to as long as you want here, depends on your taste. Not good for kids, please don't bring them, there's a café and there's big bag storage. Staff are very friendly.

On the rooftop there should have been some fans, and everyone could have enjoyed the event without feeling uncomfortable.
Catering - a tad underwhelming, as was sadly very over cooked steaks.

The Gallery of Modern Art is a must-visit destination for any art lover visiting the city. The gallery is located in a beautiful building and is home to a stunning collection of contemporary art.
The gallery's collection spans a range of styles and mediums, from painting and sculpture to video and installation art. The works on display are thought-provoking and inspiring, and showcase some of the most innovative and cutting-edge art being created today.
The layout of the gallery is well-designed, with ample space between the exhibits and plenty of natural light. The gallery also has a number of comfortable seating areas where visitors can take a break and reflect on the art they have seen.
One of the highlights of the gallery is the regular exhibitions and events that are held throughout the year. These showcase the work of both established and emerging artists and provide a unique insight into the contemporary art world.
The staff at the gallery are knowledgeable and friendly, and are always on hand to answer questions or provide information about the art on display. They also offer guided tours and workshops, which are a great way to deepen your understanding of the art and artists on display.
Overall, the Gallery of Modern Art is a world-class institution that is well worth a visit. Whether you are a seasoned art enthusiast or a casual observer, there is something for everyone here. The gallery offers a unique and engaging glimpse into the world of contemporary art, and is a true gem in the cultural landscape of the city.

It's such a nice museum with very beautiful layouts, and the exhibition is so well presented with good commentary and background of the artwork. It's very quiet and there are staff walking around to make sure everything is well organised. There's also a little gift shop, toilets and cloak room at the entrance. The best thing is that it's free!

Queensland Art Gallery was established in 1895 and moved to its current residence at South Bank in 1982. It was joined by the Gallery of Modern Art in 2006 and the galleries now house a globally significant collection of contemporary art from Australia, Asia and the Pacific.
If in Brisbane it's nice place to visit.

I love the exhibits artworks here, the modern art displayed is tasteful and refreshing unlike most "morderm art" in other museums which is literally trash. I also love how the galleries are setup and the flow of traffic is rather easy and the staff are really very polite and friendly. I wouldn't mind coming back here on the next chance I get to visit Brisbane

This is my favourite gallery/museum in Brisbane by far. It always seems to get a good set of exhibitions each year and has built a good collection for the free parts of the gallery. Kids love it, and there are always good activities for them. Great restaurant, too, but you need to book!

As someone who loves art, I was delighted to visit this free art museum in Brisbane. The collection is impressive, with a diverse range of artwork from both local and international artists. I particularly enjoyed the contemporary pieces and the thought-provoking exhibitions that challenge traditional ways of thinking. However, compared to the Queensland Art Gallery, which is also free to enter, I found that this museum lacked some of the depth and breadth in its collection. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you're on a budget and looking for a cultural experience in the heart of the city. The museum also has a gift shop where you can pick up a souvenir to take home. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this museum to anyone looking for a dose of art and culture.

After soaking in the art, the in-house café offers a delightful respite. Serving up delicious bites with views of the river, it's the perfect space to relax and reflect. Plus, the added charm of a quaint little café corner ensures you can enjoy a quiet moment with a cuppa.

I tend to question "modern art" as it seems anything is considered "art" now, from sneezing to putting flowers in your face. You don't need skill or talent anymore, so I found it amusing when I walked past a sight I assumed was still being set up & thought "well now, THAT could be considered ART!" It's so ridiculous that no one can tell the difference if there wasn't a tape around it! It is also such a huge waste of space with the exaggerated sizes of rubbish people create to call modern art, compared to what is needed when using intricate skills with something detailed. That two floor building could easily become 3 or 4 & have workshops with so much more art being exposed! Even sharing digital art! There's your "Modern Art"! THAT is Amazing what computers are creating! Imagine seeing your own image on a wall as a superhero, caveman/woman, video game character, or alien. That would be incredible art I would definitely love to see! Also, GOMA always has sections shut off that you have to pay for! *Sigh* The art has already been bought for *who can seriously afford it* then you expect us common folk to pay even more to stroll around & look at the random garbage! Those who do are crazy! That's all I'm saying!

Yesterday I check out the Fairy Tales Exhibition and I had an amazing time there. I especial love the Labyrinth, Mirror Mirror & Alice in Wonderland exhibitions.
And hope GOMA might do more movies or tv series displays in the near future. Maybe do a Bridgerton display with the costumes and props from the tv series. I would love to see that at the Gallery later on. Thanks everyone!

Another example of a hugely expensive, beautiful new building that is laid out in such a way that very little art can ever or ever will be presented here.
Massively tall walls, ceilings, walk ways (boulevards) and 2 - 3 things that may catch one’s attention.
Coffee shop, restaurant, meeting rooms and of course the overstuffed sizable gift shop. What a waste of public and private funds

Located halfway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, Kingston Park Raceway is a great place to visit with friends for teens or families of all ages. The Raceway has 3 go-kart tracks with different types of karts, and the 1100m international standard track is sure to get hearts racing and blood pumping! Fun things to do with friends for teens can also be found here such as getting racing packages before you go.
Loads of fun. Go-karts are like mini F1 racers with strong grip, good acceleration and powerful brakes. The track is professionally designed, but still accessible to all skill levels. Staff is approachable and helpful. They are happy to help you out if your equipment is not right. Staff has emphasis on safety while still letting you push yourself and the kart to the limit.

We came down for our first Friday night race challenge. Was a really fun night after getting a hang of the track. The Schumacher carts were quick. Felt it on the forearms afterwards and the hands for holding on so much around the corners. Some carts were better then others so depending if you got a good cart it wouldn't shake as much as others. There was a gaming area to relax in between races. Great value for money and the staff were great also. Will be back to try again.

Great day on the track with friends! Unlike other go karting places, the track is more complex which makes racing more enjoyable. The karts go quick enough and the atmosphere is great.
Only criticism is the “hidden charges” that you must be careful off on top of the race fee. Otherwise we will be definitely returning!

The track and carts are good, but the way races are run and the track staff definitely need improvement.
We had booked the 3+1, so 4 races total. We were in a group of 18 total drivers (6 shy of the total 24 drivers). Races only last for roughly 10 minutes which is too short to begin with as you are only able to get warmed up in that time. Two 20 minute sessions would be far better.
In our group there were a handful of drivers who continuously caused multiple yellow flags/lights. At one point one of these drivers tried to drive right into me as I passed him (trying to spin me out thinking it was funny) he missed me entirely and crashed causing another yellow.
So we spent the vast majority of each race coasting around the track on yellow lights, not able to set proper times. The issues really began when your staff, for whatever reason, decided to pick on everybody else and not those causing the continuous yellow lights and purposefully crashing.
So in essence, my group paid $650.00 to coast around your track on yellow lights for what felt like 75-80% of the time.
During the last race I had enough, and decided to forgo slowing down for a yellow down the main straight in an attempt to get one proper lap in. Your staff ordered me into the pits after this, but didn’t come and say anything to me (now I know this was intentional to ruin my entire last race). So after two minutes of waiting I pulled back onto the track and continued to race with my cart being actively slowed down by your staff. At the end I pulled in and asked why my cart was slowed down, I was met with the response “oh I wonder why mate hahaha” and then insisted I apologise. So your staff intentionally hampered my final race and felt entitled to do so… To put it bluntly; he’s lucky he looked underage or I would’ve acted differently..
TLDR: Ignorant young staff on power trips allowing some drivers to continuously break rules, while coming down hard on others who want to get good laps in. Not worth the money.

Got bumped for a lot of times during the ride and no one stops those people, hurts my back and neck for the following week. The venue is great but could be much better if it is regulated!
Ecopark is a theme park with stocked pond and fishing gear, plus a jumping castle, paddle boats, and picnic areas. This makes it perfect for kids who want to try their hand at catch and release fishing. The park also offers farm stay experiences and camp outs, as well as conference facilities and birthday party venues.
Our family of 7 went to the park not sure if we could keep all the kids occupied the whole day. We were totally wrong! The kids loved fishing, everyone caught at least one and all were super excited. We had fun feeding the animals and on the paddle boats. It was a great day and I would highly recommend it. We were there from 10am-4pm and entertained the whole time. We will definitely be back!

Visited here today with my Grandchildren, Wife and Daughter in law.
What a brilliant place to spend the day.
Tried our hands at some fishing, sat around whilst the children played, fed the animals and just generally enjoyed the day.
There is plenty to see and do and enough variety to keep the full family entertained.
The animals all look healthy and well cared for, the enclosures are large and spacious.
There is a bouncy castle, outdoor games like chess and draughts etc, mini golf...... The list just goes on and on.
It's not the biggest place in the world, but everything is well spaced out and spotlessly clean.
We didn't realise you could get hot food here, so we took a picnic. Next time, we will definitely try the hot food.
The staff members on duty were very friendly and helpful.
Prices were very reasonable and offered good value for money.
All in all, an excellent place to visit.

All looked well taken care off.

Paid $59 for 4 people to do 30 mins of “animal and bird feeding”. The bird cages looked too small, and there was no way to feed them except toss the feed through the fence. We got bored after 20 mins. Prices are twice what it should be.
Go to Currumbin Wildlife ($159 for a whole day) or White Ridge Farm at Caboolture ($14 p/adult and it’s fantastic). Much better value, more animals and you can spend hours there.

Sooooo much to keep the kids entertained here: mini golf, animals, birds, fishing, water bikes, playgrounds, jumping castle, giant board games, go carts. Grounds are well maintained and tidy. Very good value for money so don't give in to sticker shock, it's totally worth it. Kids caught fish, and loved the wide range of animals that extends beyond the garden variety farm animals you get everywhere, and the animals are clearly well taken care of because their enclosures were all well looked after, animals look healthy and happy.

We had my son's 7th birthday party here and I can't fault it! All the kids had so much fun, they were asking their parents to have there party here too. It was also relaxing for the parents because everything was close, plenty of shade, and something for every age. Loved the different large games and the animals. The different types of birds were awesome because I love birds! Lovely management/boss. The boss also took my son and I out for a free spin on his buggy out the front which my son loved! Best party we've had for our son hands down. Highly recommend the fishing package if your thinking about having your child's birthday here, definitely won't regret it!

Kids had a great time. So much to keep them entertained and the staff were amazing. Highly recommended for a nice and easy fun day out for the family.
They have a bunch of different package options and a great cafe with good lunch menu, ice creams, snacks and drinks as well as plenty of shaded areas to relax.

In all honesty quite angry.
We paid $54 on Groupon only to find that we could of paid $59 with mini golf included.when we requested putt putt for three we got slammed with a $45.50 charge .
This place looks very rundown ,could do with a gurney and a bit of love.
Wood have termite damage all over.
The poor Macaw cages have not been cleared of grass for long time.
The ponds have seen better days and have shallow water and lots of algae .
The outdoor games and bbq areas have seem better days.
I understand that covif has affected lots of small business but I can get a real putt putt experience for my whole family from $25 that really annoyed me .
Carts are not in use.
Wondering how would even want to stay in the lodge .
I have included pictures of the facilities and prices as they never tell you how much it's costing you they just out the EFTPOS machine Infront of you.
Never doing that again.

5th time visiting and it has never dissappointed us. Again we had a great day there. My son and I caught 30 fish in a couple of hours (smashing our previous recordwhich was 22). Finished the day with an ice cream and feeding the animals which was fantastic. Can't wait to go back.

My family and I had a great experience at the park today where we fished for hours, walked around feeding the cute and playful animals and had a nice bite to eat. Thank you Ford, the very helpful staff member, who kept checking up on us, gave us great tips on how to bait and cast well and helped us net a fish we caught. A very good Sunday out with the young family.

My son and I had a great time. No queues and the park is quite basic. For fishing they gave us feed bags for the animals and gave us permission to use the water bikes. It was explained that the insurances are what makes these parks expensive to run. However the charge for a child and an adult being exactly the same makes it too expensive to bring more family. If we’re $30 for child and $45 for adult that might be more reasonable you will soon recover that with hot chips etc.. We both caught fish and spent most of the day there playing games and feeding the animals. If you are patient then you will catch fish. Overall it’s good first time visit but would too expensive to go there every weekend.

Mount Coot-tha Summit Lookout provides an expansive city view as well as a cafe and restaurant. The outlook is perfect for those wanting to replace their sterile work desk with something more colourful. Mt Coot-tha is only seven kilometres from Brisbane CBD, making it a must see for anyone living in the area or visiting!
A spectacular view!
I would imagine that many proposals would of taken place at this fantastic scenic spot. It is a MUST SEE attraction if you live in, or are visiting Brisbane.
I have been up here numerous times and they have a cafe where you can order a coffee and cake and absorb nature at its finest or even bring a picnic blanket and a loved one and enjoy the sunset.
Great for motorbike riders such as myself as the ride up and down is fantastic and rather scenic but challenging at the same time.
They also have hiking trails for fitness enthusiasts.
Highly recommended!

Amazing lookout especially for magnificent and stunning sunrise and sunset with bird-eye view of Brisbane.
Many free car park just in front of the lookout and surrounding areas. No problem for car parking.
Having wheelchair access, benches to sit and rest, also big cafeteria if you want a coffee or breakfast with the view.
You can take a bus up here, or just 15 mins drive from the city.
Highly recommended, definitely a must while you are in Brisbane!

Best place to get the perfect view of the city. The premises do include some long range binoculars which operated by 2 dollar coins. However if you wanna take some nice clicks of the view, you might need a long range camera as a normal mobile cam gets obstructed by the tree range just beneath the look out.
However the a sunny day and looking out is one of the great things do in Brisbane, if you are visiting. Don’t forget to try the restaurant as well, its quite good.

We started at the J. C. Slaughter Falls and made our way up to the summit point with the view over Brisbane.
It's possible with a stroller (if you are crazy like us) but super difficult mainly because of the multiple stairs.
Water fountains throughout. The view was great and the cafe as well.

Best place to go for a sunrise. Bring your cameras as there are a few great vantage points for photos of the city skyline. There's a nice Cafe that's open from 6:30am. Can get very busy, especially on weekends and school holidays.

Nice spot with a great view of Brisbane city. Limited parking at the top when it's busy and not a lot of space to turn around up there. If you can find a park at the top during peak times you're very lucky. Gets busy in the evenings and weekends. There's a little gift shop up there, ice cream shop / Cafe and toilets. There's also picnic spots and bush walking tracks on the drive up. The ride up is fun on a motorbike too!

This is a great lookout with an outstanding view of the sea and city. You can park in the car park and walk or hike some of the trails on the mountain. We went down a gravel trail and back up a paved one next to a nice stream. Plenty of birds including magpies and bush turkeys, too. The loop we did was about 5 to 6 km. Other walkers and hikers are friendly, and there are plenty of water fountains for people with dog bowls, too. There is a nice cafe at the top but I did not see any public toilets. Highly recommend this area.

Really worth the hike!
I recommend either taking the bus (Bus line 471 for example) up to the summit lookout and hike the way down to the Botanical Gardens.
Or take the bus to the Botanical Gardens and hike the way up. The trail is pretty easy and very beautiful to be in the nature and see the diverse gardens.
There is a cafe and restaurant at the top which can get preeetty busy!

A great spot with a magnificent view looking to Moreton Bay, Brisbane and down to the southern rangers. Travelling by car, the windy road takes us through residential areas; forest and then the Sunmit. With parking and a short stroll to the lookout, visitors can enjoy impressive views. The licensed cafe offers an extensive menu to suit all tastes and patrons can enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner indoors or under umbrella's whilst soaking up the vista! Toilets are located next to the Cafe. The Scenic drive is also worth taking passing TV stations and back into residential areas.

Nice views. Probably only worth it if you drive all the way up. We hiked from the Botanic garden. We were basically running thinking we wouldn’t be able to get back into the garden, but there are other ways down. We took the last bus of the day and it brings you directly to the CBD.

Walked up via the Mahogany Track from the JC Slaughter Falls carpark which took just over an hour to the summit. Was an easy gradient the whole walk and was out of the sun under the trees. The lookout gave a great view over Brisbane, it was a little busy but still worth the visit.

We were on our way to Gold Coast and our Uber driver stopped at this lookout for a few minutes to take some pictures. It is quite crowded at about 2pm. The view was stunning on the clear blue sky day and we can see the entire city from the lookout.

Great way to see the natural local environment. We've hiked many forest areas and nothing has been like this. A real Australian forest in the city. Go to the top of the summit (we took a city bus) and hike down to the botanical gardens. It a bit of a walk, but mostly down hill. The hike up, especially on a typical hot day would be a challenge at best.

Scary lack of wild life was the first thing I noticed when hiking around Mt Coot-tha along with very few large trees.
So many walking trails with plenty of elevation change to get the blood pumping and the leg's burning.
Fun for a night time hike if you're after a bit of excitement doing the spider web limbo.

Right on top of Mount Coot-Tha, a picturesque location for a photo with a panoramic view of the city with enough greenery to make your photos stand out.
You'll easily get a turn at taking a photo with the city in the backdrop even on busy days, most people are polite enough to take a few shots and move on.
Parking is now much easier with the new lot opened near the end of the loop

This is one of the best lookouts near Brisbane. You will be able to see Brisbane City from here, and if we look closely enough, we can even see the Wheel of Brisbane.

The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a wildlife refuge tucked up alongside the Brisbane River in Fig Tree Pocket, southwest of Brisbane. The sanctuary features koalas sleeping in gumtrees and hand feeding kangaroos, as well as an endangered cassowary living in captivity. The sanctuary also has a zoo housing Australian native animal species, including crocodiles and reptiles.
Took the All-Star tour today at Lone Pine Koala sanctuary and it was exceptional! Our guide and Zookeeper Nick was both knowledgeable and friendly and made this tour one of a kind! We were able to handle owls like a falconer, see hundreds of Koalas and pet them and later get our picture holding them. We also were able to hold a few of the reptiles and feed kangaroos out of our hands. We topped the tour off by feeding the two platypus at the sanctuary. What a morning!! Highly recommended!

Great place for a visit. Professional knowledgeable staff. Animals looked healthy and well looked after. 2-3 hours was sufficient for us to see the animals and 2 shows. Ice cream and coffee from the cafe were excellent. We would recommend a visit with kids. Pricing and difficulty of access to facility aren't great but acceptable.

Loved this place! Experience was amazing. For very cheap a few friends and I managed to have an amazing time and experience the beauty of Australian animals really closely. Spent around 5 and a half hours just exploring. Definitely a 10/10 day plan for families and groups of friends, I 100% recommend the animal shows and the $15 photo packs. Also, take lots of photos! Overall a fantastic place, though I do recommend packing your own lunch (food options are unsurprisingly pricey). Coffee was nice though.

It’s a lovely place to interact with Kangaroos 😍 You can feed them, take a photo with a koala (paying an extra fee) and see other animals shows. The sanctuary is large, so save at least half day to enjoy it. There’s a bus coming from Brisbane city that stops inside the sanctuary. It’s quite convenient!

Nice place to spend 4-5 hours. If you are into koalas and kangaroos and other animals related to Australia and Farms this is your place while you are in Brisbane. There are few other activities and guides tours and shows also available. You can get really good knowledge about the species.
Feeding Kangaroo is a fun activity you can do here.
Only less than one star for the price tag. It's a bit expensive and you have to pay for other additional activities for one time visiting tourists.
And if you are planning on visiting twice just go for an annual pass.
Easy parking, restaurants available. Public and chartered ferry transportation

Nice little sanctuary with lots of koala’s. The yard with the kangaroos also is very nice. The rest of the zoo is a bit questionable. Especially if you want to see the nocturnal animals and other animals like wombats. They are not visible at all.
Pictures taken with Koala is actually very nice experience. Staff is very friendly and not rushed.

My visit to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled in serene surroundings, it provided a delightful escape into the world of Australian wildlife. It was my first encounter with koalas and kangaroos, and the experience left me in awe of these iconic creatures. The opportunity to observe them up close was truly mesmerizing.
One of the highlights of my visit was the raptor flight demonstration. Watching these majestic birds take to the sky was a breathtaking sight, and I was captivated by their grace and agility.
The sheep dog show was another standout experience. It offered a unique glimpse into the world of sheep herding and showcased the remarkable skills of these intelligent dogs.
The sanctuary itself was very well managed, with informative signage and helpful staff who were eager to answer any questions. However, despite my excitement, I was disappointed not to catch a glimpse of the elusive platypus.
Overall, my time at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was unforgettable. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Australian wildlife and nature.

Absolutely enjoyed our time here, one of the most memorable experiences. It’s definitely a koala sanctuary & one worth supporting.
The lines can be quite long for photos with the animals, best to book online to avoid delays, it helps slightly & really friendly staff everywhere all around.
There’s a cafe & toilets throughout the sanctuary, with birds & lizards walking around freely; so watch out where you step.
We booked the Mirimar cruise to & from the sanctuary, the best way to get there in our opinion, while enjoying the narrative & some history of what we pass by along the river.

A fantastic place to visit, the boat trip there was fascinating, a history tour of the river. Lone pines was a revelation, I did not know initially if 3 hours would be too long, it was not, there was loads to see and learn. The exhibitions and shows were great, all very well done. Loved to see the animals and to feed the kangaroos was a highlight. Do it, you will not regret it.

A nice way of spending a couple of hours if you're around Brisbane. I find the tickets are a bit pricey (almost $50/adult) and there was more interaction with the animals than I was expecting. I personally don't like the "pay to hold or feed a koala" thing. But other than that it was lovely seeing the kangaroos, koalas and other animals.
Cristina Renedo Williams — Google review
I recently had the most incredible day at Lone Pine Sanctuary. The chance to get up close with Australia's wildlife, from cuddling koalas to feeding kangaroos, was a dream come true. Not to mention, meeting the adorable wombats and porcupines added an extra layer of delight. The well-maintained habitats and informative shows added to the experience.
If you're planning to visit, make sure you book the cuddling koala experience online to avoid disappointment. Whether you're an animal lover or just looking for a peaceful escape, Lone Pine is a must-visit. It's a place where nature and education meet for an unforgettable adventure.

Amazing!!! We loved every minute of our time here, and will be back often! The bird show was better than expected, and the koala holding and picture was worth every penny. But my absolute favorite part was hanging out with and feeding the kangaroos!!! They are so friendly and laid back. Made my life!!! I highly recommend this place. It’s a must do if you’re here! Make sure to book your hold and touch experiences BEFORE the day you go. It fills up fast!

Had an absolutely AMAZING day!! We decided to go all in on the platinum package and it was 4000% worth it!!
The whole team was super lovely, we had Rachel as our guide who told us so many amazing things about the animals and information about conservation. There is clearly a lot of love for every single one of the animals.
The site is surprisingly wheelchair accessible, there's still a few lumps and bumps that need figuring out but we were able to do everything and the staff figured out any problems with no fuss.
We were treated to food from the cafe which was generous and delicious. Got lots of photos! I think one of the great things about doing the package deal was going round all the animals rather than just getting distracted by the koala's... Which is very easy to do!
No matter tiny lizards up to huge birds and kangaroo's everything is looked after and cared for. Loved it!!

Wonderful experience all around. We went first on a weekday for the koala and raptor encounters which were great. The kangaroo area was also really cool.
Went back a few days later for the nocturnal tour which was incredible. Emily was very fun and kept things lively while we waited for the previous group to finish. The staff as a whole were extremely knowledgeable and had so much information on all the animals as we saw them in their most active time of day. Any other zoo or sanctuary I’ve been to you see these animals sleeping. On the nocturnal tour they give you thermal cameras to find them, red torches to illuminate the animals without disturbing them which were also great for taking pictures. The animals were active, feeding and very interested in the tour group.
Very cool experience.
10/10 would recommend.

Highly recommend the Koala Discovery Tour. You get a VIP behinds-the-scenes tour of the Koala care, including a brief discussion of their care, food, and habits. You get to first go into the Koala paddocks and take pictures up close and personal near the Koalas. Then you get to have your picture taken with a Koala as well. It was great experience and well worth the time and fee. You have to buy these tickets in advance online - it is highly unlikely that you can buy them at the park.
FYI - the Discovery Tour fee does not include the park entrance fee.

This is a very good zoo that allows adults and children to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the gifts of nature. And through interaction with animals, it can increase the relationship between adults and children, and enrich their understanding and knowledge of nature. There are a lot of koalas here, so you can see many kinds of koalas sleeping in different positions, which are very cute. There are also a lot of kangaroos. You can interact with the kangaroos very closely, even feed them, and lie with them. They will not attack people and are very friendly. It is highly recommended to spend a day here to experience the journey with animals and nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We spent a week in Australia and drove past many road signs warning us about potential livestock along the roads, but we saw nothing.
As it was our last day here, we decided we needed to get a wildlife fix, and this place wasn't far from our motel.
The place was very busy, which wasn't unexpected, being school holidays, but in this case we were travelling without kids and didn't enjoy having to dodge thousands of wild animals at loose.
The park animals though, were well behaved and we enjoyed being able to get up close to them. The lunch meals were quick and simple and plenty of options for any diet. Just don't turn your back as the birds will steal it from the table in front of you.
On reflection, I would happily visit again, but outside school holidays.

Been here twice already! It's well worth the money! There's a section to walk amongst and feed the kangaroos, they are very chilled out and don't mind making new friends! Also lots of koalas around in the trees, mainly sleeping or eating but that's what they do to be fair. Price seems to have gone up to $54 from $49 but might be due to the summer season.

I’m glad I didn’t buy any kangaroo food as none of them seemed to be interested in anything. I felt bad for them. Most of them were huddled together in a section where they could be seen, but not touched. Other animals didn’t seem to be doing well either. I was able to get a chicken schnitzel and chips for $13. I understand wanting to take kids to a zoo, but as an adult I didn’t enjoy it. I wouldn’t return.

This is a Koala Sanctuary rather than a zoo - so whilst there are other species there, these are not the focus of exhibits. But if you love Koala, look no further. This place is a gem. It is clear that the staff are knowledgeable and really care about the animals in their charge, and the environment was beautiful.
We had a behind the scenes guided tour - a ‘Discovery Tour’ - and were guided by Elle. She was friendly and a perfect guide, sharing her knowledge and information at the right level for a diverse group. She was organised and kept us all on time and in line.
Whilst there, Elle noticed one of the elderly Koala had sneezed and produced nasal discharge. She immediately flagged this on the radio and a more senior colleague arrived within 60 secs to give the Koala some support. It was lovely to see.
We also got to hold a Koala, and it was evident that this is approached carefully and considerately. The animals were not stressed and are looked after by their keepers to make sure they were happy and safe. A lovely experience which we will never forget. Thanks

Great little place, but it's so expensive. Although I understand that everything is expensive these days. But the food there is very, very, pricey.
Great staff, though, we bought a koala encounter, barn experience, and snake photo.
The koala encounter is a pat and self photos. The staff member there also gave us some information about koalas and we got some very good photos. Barn experience was great! Highly recommend, staff were informative and great with the children. Kids loved it, but watch the goats! They will eat the bags the food comes in! 😅 It is best to buy things the day before you go, buy them online to ensure you get a spot. Oh and see the Roos in the morning, they might want to eat more, we went in the afternoon, and they were probably a bit overfed by then. We didn't see any animals in the nocturnal area except a tree kangaroo, but that was a possibility that was mentioned. Free flight bird show was great, we loved it!
Overall, great experience, and we really enjoyed our day.

Must go. Very close to Brisbane. Workers told us the koala holding doesn’t usually sell out until 11 am. I would buy entry tickets ahead of time and get there by 8:30 to make sure you can hold the Koalas at a good time. The public bus stops in the parking lot. Workers were friendly. Over 100 koalas and lots of pettable kangaroos. My girl really wanted to hold a koala and it was impossible at Steve’s zoo without booking weeks ahead of time. Plus the entry and holding are cheaper here. We went here and the zoo and both were amazing. They are doing lots of good work here. Please support them. You should figure at least 4 hours here. Will return. Koala holding was only about 30 seconds but didn’t feel rushed. The workers were nice and very happy to take cell phone pics. Plus it comes with a printed photo.

Lone Pine you have the most beautiful & kind hearted staff I’ve ever met & that’s an understatement. I really can’t thank you ladies enough & how much it meant X
Even throughout the day everyone was so naturally accomodating & genuinely loving the place that they call “work” ~ seeing your team interact with a cheeky Koala whilst cleaning out its home was an absolute highlight too!
Will certainly be back & thank you for such a beautiful mum & daughter experience that will be with me for years to come X

If you are in Brisbane, definitely need to visit! This was one of the highlights of our trip. The koalas are just so cute! We spent a majority of the day hanging with the koalas or sitting with the kangaroos. The best time to checkout the kangaroos are later in the day when the sun is not as hot. More of them were lounging out in the grassy areas and it was less crowded. Make sure to buy the kangaroo feed earlier as they stop selling them at some point.

Wonderful sanctuary.
From an ethical standpoint I only visit sanctuary not zoos , I was so happy to see SO many koalas.
Some things that need addressing as I think they may cross the line slightly, of course understanding the sanctuary still needs to make money in order to help the animals, that is why the holding a koala photos etc. are a thing. The kangaroo zone that the public could not enter was small, there was lots of kangaroos crowded in there and I can’t help but feel with the massive size of the enclosure in general it could definitely be made bigger. I understand there were more huts around for them to go in but these are small and did not provide anywhere for them to hide only not be touched. More signs and rangers around educating people on kangaroo behaviour, as there were some children treating them like family dogs, not respecting their body language.
The sanctuary obviously does incredible work, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely gift shop where you can buy stuffed toy koalas and many more animals.

The Robelle Domain is an expansive, landscaped park featuring a variety of activities ranging from walking and cycling trails to outdoor pools and splash pads. The park also includes a beautiful lagoon area for swimming, as well as numerous picnic facilities and playgrounds.
It's a good place to walk around. There are wide pathways without any steep grades, suitable for wheelchairs, prams, walkers, etc. The plants are starting to mature since my last visit about 5 years ago. Lots of grassy areas, picnic tables and shade. There's a water play area for the kids. Public toilets. Close to Orion Shopping Centre and a direct pathway connection to Springfield Central Train Station. Combined with a visit to the Tavern, Movies or a restaurant at Springfield Orion would make a great day out.

What a well designed public space, with heaps of trees, shade and lawns, and easy access for everybody.
My choir, Mosaic Multicultural Choir, were asked to perform at the Greater Springfield Festival here, and it was easy to find, easy to park, with great access, and designed for big numbers.
Top marks to the Landscape Architects, and Council who built the Robelle Domain, a top spot for a festival, picnic, walk or bike ride.

Free entrance, fun summer activity for all ages kids as well as parents, good BBQ area and picnic benches arround the park. Good large play area even when crowded there's plenty of space for everyone. Free parking is very limited and hard to find a free spot when busy, otherwise $3 for parking or on street, Restrooms seems clean and maintained.

This is a great place to take the kids, there are so many things to do and at night time the park behind the big bucket has games with lights like capture the flag, memory and colour chase race. Super fun in daylight.....even better after dark.

This is essentially an amusement park without entrance fees.
It also has quiet locations.
We give it a 10/10.

Took my son here and it was awesome. He loved it. Only thing it's missing is a shower otherwise, there's one 5min walk away at the carpark

If your looking for a playground that has water features for the kids to play and have fun as well as all the latest park equipment for kids then you need to go to ‘Robelle Domain’.
It’s a beautiful park which is situated near the Orian Shopping Centre.
Make a day of it as there is ample of greenery to have a picnic with beautiful scenery as well as barbecue facilities.
Really great place for the kids to have fun, kids to get a little wet if they chose to and just a relaxing place for us parents to watch over the kids.

Water play area is really fun for the kids, all 4 of mine love the water play and the playground surrounding it. There are good facilities including an open field, toilets, BBQ and some seating areas. Quite a lot of shade sails for shade, beautiful scenery for photos, and the kids love running up and down on the pyramids 😅 definitely a favourite spot for our family

There is a lovely concrete walkway that winds its way around this large park. We see plenty of walking each morning

Always a nice spot to bring the family for an afternoon session or birthday party. Facilities for wheel chairs, including a wheel chair swing. Orion shopping centre is close by and the ballisitic brewery is in the other direction. Plenty of open space to frisbee, kick a ball, ride or scooter.

The lookout has two walking trails, both of which are quite flat and easy. The trail that leads to the lookout is wheelchair accessible. There are also multiple areas for rock climbers.
The views from the lookout are spectacular.
There are many barbecue areas and picnic benches, as well as multiple unisex and disabled toilets.
Finally, there is a large amount of car parks.

This is an awesome place to visit. There are pic areas with electric BBQs, flushing toilets with baby changing facilities and bitumen covered roads and paths for a lot of it. There are a couple of short walks and they have magnificent views of the scenic rim. Well worth the drive!

A great place for day trip around Brisbane. Few hundred metres of gravel road to reach there. The toilets were clean and bush camping options available. Good view of the fassifern valley. Constant cricket noise was bit uneasy.

Lovely spot for a short walk. The short walk to Logan’s lookout was my favourite. A spectacular view that you could sit and watch the world go by. A great vista. The second walk was just as easy with a view the other direction. Nice easy drive and great facilities for camping or a camper van. Worth the de tour to slow down and watch.
