The circular walk was lovely and was very accessible for everyone. Definitely worth visiting with small children, and there were toilets, BBQ areas and picnic benches within.

One of the best botanic gardens I have been into.
Although the size is relatively small as compared to others, but they successfully managed to design it very well, invested in many plants as you walk in. Good on you.
The only thing I would suggest is to renovate the old toilet facilities at the main entrance.

Lovely ...well worth a stop if your driving by,
Break up your road trip, or if your visiting.
Take personal insect spray or roll on , as we stayed until late afternoon and the mosquito's came out to feed on us! we unfortunately cut our visit short due to them.
I will unturn for sure.

This garden is free. You can park your car on the street for 2hours and it’s not very big. You can finish your tour within 1 hour. When I visit here it’s winter and leaves are falling. I believe it would be better if you visit here in spring.

Visited this place to take a break from driving on the way to Melbourne. But loved the park. Beautifully curated lawns, eye pleasing flowers and different children's park. Loads of park benches and surprise part is, toilets were very clean. Had a rejuvenated break from drive. Highly recommended!

A city’s botanic gardens are a good measure of its character. The Albury gardens are neat, beautiful, and well maintained. Small but totally adequate with a lovely range of trees and open grassy areas. Would be a great spot for a picnic and some lawn games.

It was a nice walk through the huge trees and various flowering plants of African and South Amrican origin. View huge trees with various hews. Play area for kids . Lots on offer for families.
We started at the Noreuil Park Playground. This enclosed playground was beautiful with the enormous trees acting as shade cloths.
It's not as big as Oddies Playground which works in its favour as most families head to Oddies leaving Noreuil playground relatively empty.
It looks out onto the Murray River and the Noreuil Park Foreshore.
Just outside the playground there are BBQ facilities and seating. Otherwise there is a cafe right next door.
From there we headed along the foreshore walk which was beautiful. There were people having picnics whilst others kayaked down the river. Along the walk there were tables and directions to different walks.
As we walked there were heaps of birds to photograph, including the Red Rumours Parrot and the Eastern Spinebill (photos included).
They are currently upgrading the walk with a large section closed. You can get back on track by walking along the grass.

This is a beautiful park located on the banks of Murray River almost in the heart of Albury.
There are good facilities for bbq, picnic, canoeing, fishing including walking tracks, children's playground etc.
There are clean wash rooms and plenty of parking spaces available. There is also a Cafe for the visitors convenience and an oval adjacent to the park.
It's certainly worth spending some time in here.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Noreuil Park Foreshore in Albury, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. As others have said this is a first class picnic area with plenty of tables, shade, a kids play ground and a great restaurant cafe. One of our favourite places in Albury. When we were there the river was running much higher than normal.

A great park that's on the banks of the Murray River that has plenty of shaded areas with BBQ, picnic tables and an enclosed playground for the kids.
Plenty of car parks and there is a cafe and public restroom.
Great place to stop for a break when passing through Albury when travelling, as it's only a 5 to 10 min drive off the hike hwy

This park is absolutely beautiful. A lot of thought has gone into planning. The facilities were the best I have ever seen in a park, especially the toilet facilities in the complex where the coffee shop is.

A lovely visit, lots of childhood memories of time spent here
Trish Sparkles — Google review
This beautiful park butts up to the bank of the Murray River. At present almost the entire park is under water, the river has broken its banks and the water flowing down the small creeks has nowhere to go.
In normal circumstances Noreuil Park provides something for everyone. It has a really fun adventure playground for kids, well maintained toilets, Picnic & BBQ facilities including hotplates and tables, recently upgraded pathways, outdoor gym, boat ramp, a canoe club and one of the best eat-in and takeout restaurants in the area, the River deck. Needless to say the restaurant has an excellent deck nestled in the elbow of the Murray.

Old Beechworth Gaol, located on Ford Street, is part of the impressive Justice Precinct listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. The site was originally a government camp and later became a police reserve in 1856. Constructed of local honey-colored granite, the complex includes several historic buildings such as the former Telegraph Office, Court House, Police Station, Chinese Protectors Office, and Gold Wardens Office.
Quite an impressive tour which happens at scheduled times. Numbers are limited due to COVID at 40 people so it might be sold out if you rock up 5 minutes before the tour starts. Tickets are 18.50 and can be purchased from a small cafe which sells cakes and reasonable coffee which is a good problem if you come early. During school holidays they had tours at 11, 12 and 1 with each tour taking a little under an hour. Some info on the Kelly gang is also included.
Mathew Fedley — Google review
We joined a midday tour, had a really great guide who outlined the history on the Gaol and its life. The quirks of having a gaol that had to grow from the 1800s with bushrangers through to the late 1900s. If your in Beechworth it's worth a visit

great place for a tour! can even see the old balls people have hit on the roof from times of it being in use. can’t go onto the second level anymore but i do recall seeing peoples old magazine hangings of cars on the pin boards. recommend to buy tickets online before attending
Melody O'Grady — Google review
I am only reviewing the cafe as I actually have not done the Gaol tour. It was in the middle of Covid and there was a challenge with staff and being forced to close sporadically so the range of food and cakes wasn’t standard. The food was ok but not the best. I think when Covid has passed the men range and food quality will improve. I would recommend a visit here as the grounds are spectacular and the trees and outdoor seating is relaxing and splendid.

What a fantastic experience this was, we went here for a family day outing and we had explored the other small museums that were in the vicinity. We decided to book in online which was so easy and quick and was done with a tour guide. We ended up coming on a family open day which was a fun event although not a lot was going on, it was a cute and a light event.
We went with our kids and nephew, we met out the front of the goal and listened to an informative talk about the history of the Goal, then went inside the rec yard where we learnt more about the Goal and some of the stories of the inmates. We went inside the cell blocks and the talk continued we were then given about 10mins to have a free look around the bottom floor, the top floor was not accessible due to safety regulations. But the second floor was apparently the same as the bottom floor. You don't get to go through the entire building, this is probably having a lot to do with that there are other businesses now occupying the Goal.
It certainly was an interesting experience, i would have loved to see some other parts of the building, not just the cell blocks and parts of the yard. But the whole family really enjoyed the experience.
Accessibility for aged and Disable: There are some minor steps into the goal, we had a lady with a pram, and they accommodated the mum to access the area, so I would assume that a wheelie walker or wheelchair would be accommodated for.
It can be a bit hot during the warmer months as we stood outside listening to the talk which was a little uncomfortable, but at the time we went was tolerable. Maybe on hot days they change where they do the talk.
Food and drink: I believe they have a cafe there that runs most days of the week, it seemed a permanent fixture to the place and also there is a cafe.
I would recommend coming here and do the other museums as well as they support each other in the history of Beechworth.
hope you enjoy it as much as we did. :-)

Great tour of a really cool historical site.
Daniel was our guide, and he was bloody brilliant. One his stuff, want pushy, and spoke naturally, and well.
Brilliantly preserved, this gaol is a must see for any history or Kelly enthusiast

The gaol was not open for tours when I was there. It is an amazing part of our history. Such a beautiful structure. Very eerie.

Interesting tour even though it’s a small gaol, obviously, don’t expect a massive one like in Melbourne - recommend to book in advance. It did start a little bit late, but we finished up a bit later too. You can hire a bike here, plenty of carpark around the area, there is a cafe inside and toilet..

Great place to bring the family and learn about the area and the old jails history. The tour was great and you learn about some of the history of the inmates that spent time there including Ned Kelly.
Peter Lowden — Google review
Daniel was an exceptional tour guide during our visit to Beechworth Gaol. His knowledge of the gaol's history was both informative and engaging. He brought the stories of the prisoners and the conditions they endured to life with his vivid descriptions and attention to detail. Daniel's passion for the gaol's history was evident in his delivery and he went above and beyond to ensure that everyone in the group had a memorable experience. He was patient in answering all our questions and took the time to make sure we understood the complexities of the gaol's past. His enthusiasm for his job was infectious and made our visit to Beechworth Gaol all the more wonderful. We left feeling grateful for the experience and the opportunity to have had Daniel as our tour guide.

A very interesting place to visit, the tour was relatively inexpensive, with student and concession discounts. There is plenty of interesting history to see and learn about throughout the tour. There is also a nice cafe just in the courtyard for a quick bite & coffee. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in Beechworth.

Tour was just over an hour- joined 8 minutes late with another couple rocking up just after us. Was unable to use the QR code to book as we joined late. Was told by tour guide we could pay at the cafe which wasn’t advertised at the front. Other couple who came after us wasn’t asked for their tickets or to pay so they got a free tour I guess!

When buying a ticket, I recommend doing the tour. It doesn't cost any more and the guide is very informative, a great experience to learn more on the lives of the prisoner's life. A coffee van is there while you wait...

The Old Beechworth Goal is a site to be seen with its high granite walls, which is fine stone work i must add to its razor wire on top, the Goal was opened for prisoners in 1864...
The entrance to the Beechworth Goal is located on Williams St. The building does take up a lot of land and also can be seen along Ford St and High St...
The longing question most people ask is about Edward/Ned Kelly, who did, in fact, spend some time at this Goal with his first conviction at 16 in 1870 for Actually doing nothing just receiving a stolen horse from somebody else which started his life as a bush ranger/outlaw...
Also, the prison has been home to some of Australia's most well-known bushrangers, including Joe Byne and Harry Powers. The prison also held twenty or so suspected Kelly gang riders in 1879....
Another name what some one say as a big name in crime was Carl Williams, and over the 140 years of the Beechworth Goal being in service, I could say the books would be full of names...
There is a tour that runs most days, and we were hoping to take one of these tours, but unfortunately, we missed out and run out of time in the beautiful town of Beechworth...
We did get the chance to take a small stroll around the outside, I will update my post when I get the chance to take a tour on the inside of this prison.

Beechworth Historic Court House, situated on Ford Street, is an integral part of the Justice Precinct. Dating back to 1858, this impressive building complex was constructed with local honey-colored granite and includes several historic structures such as the former Telegraph Office, Police Station, Chinese Protectors Office, and Gold Wardens Office. Very friendly staff, sharing some extra stories with us. You need 1 to 2 hours to visit all the places that come with the heritage pass. Unfortunately we didn't have that much time bit we'll definatelly come back soon.
Dan B — Google review
If you want experience the deeper history of Beechworth, then the Court house is a great place to start. Beechworth has an amazing number of little places you can take the kids or yourself to go and have a visit to learn about Beechworth.
The court House is of course famous for its association with Ned Kelly, but it also is an amazing place to come and see a historic building, built in 1958 and was a working courthouse right up to 1989, this courthouse has been an interesting and integral part of the community just as much as the Beechworth Goal Has.
I love how you can almost access nearly every room of the courthouse minus the lady's balcony and a storeroom. But the Library happened to be our favourite room, it was filled with old law books and just had that nostalgic feel about it, the kids loved the library and the holding cells.
(They used to have an audio spill that used to play but that feature was not there anymore. It did make for a great way to experience the court room.)
The kids love being able to explore and sit where the judge and lawyers would sit and they did a little court play of their own. It was cheap to get in costing us a family of 6 $10. you could pay a bit extra for a guided tour which would probably have been great. There were souvenirs you could purchase for reasonable prices.
Accessibility: The courthouse is wheelchair friendly, and you can access most of the courthouse bar the cells I believe. The staff are welcoming and encourage all to come and take part in the history of Beechworth. Great place for kids and anyone to come and visit.

Nice and informative with so many preserved gems! Not the best for younger kids or people not too interested in the Ned Kelly story, but if you’re game you’re going to absolutely love it!

This place is fantastic! Cheap to visit. The court house is in original condition as it was on the last day is was used. Lots of interesting information to read. Ned Kellys trial began here in August 1880 before it was transferred to Melbourne. Don’t forget to go around the rear of the building where one of the old stable buildings still stand. Also the old stone lock up with would be terrible to be locked up in. The whole area is so interesting and next door is the telegraph office to visit as well.

The Courthouse is a part of Beechworth historic precinct alongside other historic buildings. It was built in 1858 and has seen many historic court hearing’s including Ned Kelly, his Mum Ellen Kelly and Elizabeth Scott and ran for 131 years. Fabulous old buildings in the main street opposite the Information Centre. There is a walk that you can do. Just ask in the Info Centre. These buildings all have great signs out front with info on what they were. They are all well preserved. One of the best historical streets that we have been to. This is where Ned Kelly had his first trial. Do visit the Information Centre across the road and the Bourke Museum behind the Info Centre. am assuming due to couple of luxury hotels the beach has been really well maintained. Which is a really good point. I don't remember spending almost the entire day at any other beach but this. A beach worth visiting and spending time. Take a nice dip in the Arabian Sea. lie down on the beach get sun bathed and have yummy food on the shacks there.
p.s Our favourite shack was "Gloria". Mr Satish was a polite and very helpful host. Tried the others as well (Misha and Amish) but we found this the best. Gloria shack is between Misha and Amish, close to the beach opening of Mahindra Club.

Woolshed Falls is a popular tourist attraction that offers stunning scenery and a viewing deck for visitors to enjoy. After heavy rainfall, the waterfall area becomes even more picturesque. The site includes a picnic area, ample parking, and nearby bush tracks for exploration. For those who are steady on their feet, it's possible to walk down onto the rock formation near the waterfall face. Visitors can swim or shower in the falls but should be cautious during hot summer days as temperatures can rise quickly.
This place was fantastic! Stunning scenery, easy access for all abilities to the top viewing platform. An easy walk down onto rock formation for anyone steady on their feet. Was lovely to sit around or explore the rock formations on the waterfall face. Absolutely gorgeous was to while away the hours on a sunny day.

Such a beautiful place for a Sunday morning exploration! Trails weren’t anything strenuous, which was perfect for me. So cool to read about the gold mining history and how it affected the area (what equipments and techniques they used etc.). Will definitely be coming back next time I’m down here 😍

Great waterfall with an extremely easy access. Wheel chair friendly etc etc. Will become crowded at times as it's a popular spot. Great views from dedicated platform.

This is an absolutely stunning place to visit, just to sit in the running water or just wet your feet. The view is fantastic, and you'd get a great view at sunset. Only had a short time there but next time we'll spend longer.

Nice waterfalls. You can go down and swim or shower whatever you want. But the area gets really hot on day time during summer so take precautions. Enough parking and picnic area. Toilet also available. Nice place to enjoy sunny day. You can also do nearby bush tracks.
Md Abu Sufian — Google review
Really easy waterfall lookout to go to as the platform is right next to the carpark. Then you can go to the top of the waterfall too, just go down the track which is not difficult at all but not accessible for wheelchairs. Wear proper hiking shoes as a caution so you can explore the top of the waterfall safely. Went when it was absolutely pumping. Probably one of the best waterfalls in this area of the state!

Good experience in a hot and sunny day, few individual and families was having fun inside water.
Stone inside the water are very slippery.
Few incidents happen because of that.
So just be very careful going in the water.

Woolshed Falls - So beautiful 🤩
Woolshed Falls is a stunning natural attraction located in the heart of Victoria, Australia. As soon as you arrive, you will be struck by the sheer beauty of the area, with its pristine waterfalls cascading over the rocky terrain. The sound of the water is soothing and the air is fresh and invigorating.
The walk to the falls is well-marked and relatively easy, with a clearly defined path that winds its way through the lush bushland. Along the way, you will see a variety of native flora and fauna, including kangaroos and wallabies.
When you arrive at the falls themselves, the view is simply breathtaking. The water cascades down a series of rocky steps, creating a mesmerizing display of nature's power and beauty. The surrounding cliffs and lush vegetation only add to the overall ambiance of the area.
One of the best things about Woolshed Falls is that it is relatively quiet and peaceful, with few tourists around. This means that you can enjoy the beauty of the area at your own pace, without feeling rushed or crowded.
Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Woolshed Falls to anyone who loves nature and outdoor activities. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or simply looking for a relaxing day out in nature, this beautiful attraction is sure to leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Toilets, bbq and excellent scenery. Snow has all melted so the river is running nicely.
The walk to town is a bit unkempt but a nice walk.
The falls would be a great spot on a hot day. Lots of pools to sit in.
Matthew Dempsey — Google review
Beautiful bush setting. The Falls were lovely to see. Very calming and serene. Swimming in the rock pools would be fun. It's easy to get down but very rocky terrain. Caution is recommended but worth the visit.
Norma Hutchinson — Google review
Absolutely beautiful experience. There was about 10 people there all spaced out, so it wasn't too crowded, which made the experience pleasant. We visited the Falls first, and the water was cold and beautiful, and even had a large pond for kids to play in. Afterwards, we went to the viewing point looking down at the Falls, which was also beautiful to look at, with information about the history of the Falls which was pleasant to read and learn about. Always a stopping point for us when we are passing through the area!

This place is beautiful!!!!
I could have sat here all day.
My husband and I went exploring up the back and I fell in not once... but twice and we had the best time. Even if I was soaked haha

Woodshed falls is an amazing area that showcases the amazing beauty of the area. With little tourists frantically taking pictures, it is a very peaceful place to take a quick swim or just appreciate nature. The cuttings in the rocks are especially interesting and fun.
Eli Boymal — Google review
Visiting a few days after some reasonable rain in early summer there was plenty of water flowing, and pleasant to explore amongst the rocks, though they were slippery in parts.
Viewing of the waterfall with these shots was available for wheelchair access, though obviously a bit of a scramble and some steps to get onto the waterfall area.
Matt Benson — Google review
This place is amazing. You can walk across to the top of the Falls.
Charmaine Miles — Google review
A mighty popular spot with many flocking to the upper falls for a swim in the streams that make up the falls. Mighty big plummet if you get too close to the falls itself. Surprisingly, no real warning signs to speak of so be sure to pack your common sense if you decide to picnic there
Don Tadixz — Google review
Water begins at the top and makes its way to the bottom.
My theory is that gravity plays some role in this process.
Others believe it is a magical phenomenon. Who knows!
All I can say is that it would make for a great place to cool down on a toasty day and even on this cooler day was a nice place to visit.

What a surprise. A very interesting and informative visit. So good we purchased heaps and just love the salted pumpkin seeds oil and dukka are amazing.
A must see when in Bright.

Loved this shop with a huge variety of products including pumpkin seeds in various flavours, walnut products, oils, Jams, sauces. They have tastings of their products with lovely staff providing detailed information on their products. Whilst there was no access to the farm during our visit, they had a delightful little pumpkin and sunflower garden just across the road that people could visit. Overall a very good experience and recommended if you are in Myrtleford or surrounds!!

Dropped by on our way home from Bright. Staff kindly offered some samples. We were after some ice cream (they didn't have one) but had good experience. We definitely want to go back on autumn to see the pumpkin patch.

My husband and I walked in expecting just to browse the shop and leave, but the owner asked us to join him & another couple sampling different seed & nut oils and it turned into a really eye opening and educational afternoon! It turned the whole experience of 'just visiting' into one of my favourite spots to visit driving back to Melbourne from Bright. The owner was very friendly & knowledgable and was able to suggest us delicious snacks that we'd both enjoy. Absolutely going to visit again!

This is more than just a shop front! It's an experience into pumpkin seeds.
Even the kids were engrossed and took part in the mini onsite tasting process.
Very ìnformative, lots of variety.
Kids loved the walnuts covered in dark choc and turmeric, lightly salted and choc coated pumpkin seeds the best.
If your driving past stop in..even if it's just to taste the hazelnut (taste like nutella) oil!

Really wonderful staff, explaining all the different produce that they grow and sell with free tastings of a wide variety of their products. Scion Wine in Rutherglen offers a unique experience where visitors can enjoy a "Reverse BYO" concept, bringing their own picnic while the winery provides the wine. The friendly and knowledgeable staff, such as Alicia and Alyssa, offer great recommendations and information about the area. The winery is described as "young and fun," offering different takes on traditional wines with genuine craft knowledge. Visitors praise the "After Dark" wine and express excitement about returning for more tastings.
Beautiful place and excellent friendly service. Wine is exquisite, each one is is different and distinct, very creative.
We really enjoyed our time there and learn a lot about the wine making processes and flavors.
Arina “Arina moves” — Google review
The wine is pleasant enough but be aware they have a very rigid tasting charge. $10 per person which is waived only if you buy 3 bottles each. My 2 friends and I wanted to buy 8 bottles (and they are not cheap) and they still wanted to charge us an extra $10. A bit of flexibility would make for much better customer relations. Unfortunately we left feeling a bit ripped off.

'Young and fun' winery. They know their stuff and a trying different takes on old favourites. Staff have been very well hired and trained; if you are looking for a different, slightly sassy take on wine - with genuine craft knowledge to boot - it's definitely worth getting to Scion. I loved the 'After Dark' wine.

Prior to this visit, our experience with Campbell”s was limited to its sweet muscats. When we mentioned this at the cellar door, Barry put us to rights by pouring tastes of the entire Campbell’s line up. To be sure, the muscats remain excellent. The surprise is particularly in the robust red offerings. All are solid contenders in their category and a number are excellent. The premium Shiraz and durif wines should not be missed.
Our thanks to Barry for both the lovely platter and the instructive wine experience. We look forward to our next visit.

Visited the cellar door on Thursday afternoon and there was a beautiful roaring fireplace which was a lovely touch, being in the middle of winter. There is an extensive wine list which includes aromatic white wines, dry red wines and sweet fortified wines. It was cold outside on my visit, but it looks like there is heaps of outdoor seating surrounded by rose bushes and vines which would get used in the warmer months.
Katrina Wilson — Google review
In all honesty, the 5 is for the grounds, the staff (Ange) and the pure generosity of the tastings! There are about 30 wines on the tasting menu and the girls are up for you trying any and all without judgement. There weren’t too many I liked out of the 12 or so I tried but just cannot fault the experience. We left with 3 bottles of Amelie which is a beautiful light red, a great picnic wine! We also took a gerwutz and a bottle of Muscat but none of the reds appealed to me as a red drinker.

Although we arrived at Milawa Cheese Factory a bit late in the day, we still had a delightful experience. While we missed out on some offerings due to timing such a picnic on the grounds, the shop boasted a tempting array of meats, cheeses, and condiments for us to take home. The beautiful day added to the ambiance, making it a worthwhile stop. I highly recommend dropping in when in Milawa.

Absolutely delightful place to have a glass of wine and a delicious cheese platter. Eclectic selection of comfy sofas on a huge patio outside.Nice and dog friendly. Just make sure to hedge your bets on the cheese - not everyone likes all the strong tastes that are on offer :-)

The website says it's open until 5, but cheese tasting finishes at 4. We were able to sneak in a very quick tasting when we arrived at 4, but it was disappointingly short.
Much of the cheese we bought was close to the use by date and not as fresh as those we had tasted. This applied to the cheese which had been marked down in price and those of full price.
The duck terrine was dry and didn't taste nice. We threw it out.
This is the second time we have been there and the quality issues were present on both occasions.
However our previous cheese tasting had been a revelation. We took our time truly tasting the differences between each of the different cheeses and learning how to taste properly.

Today I visited to Milawa to go to the aptly named Milawa Cheese Factory. This is a great example as to how you can convert a cheese factory into a successful tourist destination
It has a lovely cafe, a cheese shop where you can sample their wares (the aged blue
vein particularly tickled my palate) and a cellar door offering local wines.
Sadly their cheese platter was far too large for one and would not travel well in a car on a hot day so in this instance I did not buy anything. Certainly a nice place to visit though...

Nice self guided take away cheese tasting platter meant we didn't have to book. And with the large grassed area out the front, we were able to sit and enjoy the cheese in the shade of a tree before going back to buy our favourites.
Winery, cafe and gift shop were all there too so we stayed for lunch and a wine tasting.
A second visit had me trying the guided tasting and another lunch inside the cafe. Warm, great atmosphere, good music played loud enough to hear, but no two loud that you couldn't easily converse. Food was tasty and we headed back to the shop for some of the cheese we had tasted.
What a great winery. The grounds are beautiful. Friendly staff. I enjoyed reading the history about the family. Toilets clean and a lovely restaurant. We camped at their campsite opposite and it was so nice.

Wine tasting was $5 for 5 wines and there’s no option to taste individual wine before purchase. Beautiful winery grounds with clean toilets but didn’t stay long as the restaurant was fully booked out.
Their bestseller Prosecco are probably cheaper to buy from Dan Murphy’s than the cellar door.

Our visit to Brown Brothers Winery was nothing short of fantastic.
Despite being unable to explore the vineyards, the immaculate estate and sunny weather set a delightful ambiance. We indulged in a wonderful wine tasting experience at the cellars, savoring an exquisite selection of wines.
Although the restaurant was understaffed and unable to accommodate bookings, the service remained commendable, with the waitress candidly informing us of the situation. We still relished in a diverse menu of grazing options, each dish complementing the wines, lemonade, and strong coffee.
The beauty of the estate added to the overall charm, making it a highly recommended destination for a memorable day out with family.

Aahhh Browns Brothers! Our fourth visit and there are still new wines to taste. We booked a wine tasting for $15 each and had 45mins with Rose, our wine consultant, enjoying old favourites and many new ones with explanations of how they were made etc. The children had a lounge to play their Ipads and colour in. All in all, a great way to indulge in some wine tasting! They have something for every palate! The restaurant was fully booked for lunch, so book days in advance, but we had a coffee and the kids played in the enclosed playground. A relaxing afternoon!

Presentation of Brown Brothers was absolutely stunning. The colours were vibrant to add interest, and definitely made the dishes more enjoyable to eat. If it looks good... there's a high chance it'll taste good!
It did hit the peak for the second entrees. Lots of combinations I don't usually get, and they've incorporated stracciatella in their menu which, in my opinion, is an understated refreshing flavour that is trending in Modern Australian cuisine at the moment. I've liked some of their interesting flavour combinations such as garden radish and the witloof which I've never had this way before!!
Their mains were a little bit of a let down for me. They weren't as excited as the entrees, and they served sous vide chicken which is a personal hate of mine. My friends enjoyed it though for its perfect white meat, but I find all "boiled" chicken bland. Looking @u haianese chicken.
Brown brothers focus on sustainability and reusing their ingredients. Love the stories of how they source local, and commit to minimal waste.
If it's not too out of the way, Brown Browners with their friendly service (and warm heaters!) is decent.

We had lunch at Brown’s Winery yesterday. The food was absolutely amazing.
The waitress introduced herself very professionally with great knowledge and expertise.
The food was a fantasy of flavours. Every dish was superb and beautifully presented. The tart was exquisitely delicate and fine. I don’t know how the chef did it.. I wanted to pair the wine so the waitress explained the wines and suggested the most appropriate. A sensational eating feast of delicious, fresh, sustainable vegetables and herbs grown in Brown’s garden, along with quail, chicken, beef etc cooked in a way I haven’t experienced before. Best lunch I have ever had, so I don’t need to travel to Melbourne to find really delicious food! It is found at Brown’s Winery. .
A truly memorable day. Thanks to the chef and waitress.

Just experienced my first wine tasting ever, and couldn’t have picked a better winery than Brown Brothers! My partner & I did the premium wine tasting and enjoyed a vast variety of wines, served to us by Mark.
Mark had a great amount of knowledge and shared with us the history and culture of each wine we tried. We could not have had better service, thanks Mark! (I told myself I’d only buy 2 wines, but I left with 4!!)
Thank you Brown Brothers! I can’t wait to come again 🍷

Drove up especially to try the set lunch menu and absolutely loved it!
Took the pups for a lazy day out and they enjoyed the grass area. This place is a well set up place catering families with a playground, picnic blankets and beanbag style seats.
11 dishes washed down with an estate Chardonnay was spot on. Great knowledgeable staff and a vibrant atmosphere.
The house made olive oil is out of this world.

As part of our weekend away we managed to do a pit stop at Brown Brothers, the rain didn’t stop us.. immersed in their wonderful wines and jams we had to buy a few more and enjoy the experience.
Some of our favourites were the Prosecco; Moscato; and various red wines.. We couldn’t resist the Prosecco; Cienna and Mascato jams (yum, they go great with our scones). The group stocked up on wines and jams as part of our stop and we’re looking forward to being back next year to enjoy the menu presented at the restaurant.
Staff were extremely friendly, heart warming and knowledgeable. Such a wonderful team out there who welcomed us with high spirits.

I love an experience where you try one dish and it’s delicious. Then try another and it’s also amazing. And the third is also delicious and you then you can’t pick your favourite. This was the great start to the menu at Brown Brothers. The venue has well spaced tables and floor to ceiling glass windows which allow you to sip and eat while surrounded by the green trees. This was perfectly matched by the service by Jason and Alex. I was surprised when given the set menu that it wasn’t chose one dish from each section - you get all the dishes! And all for $80. Incredible value. Each dish is locally sourced perfectly paired with a Brown Brothers wine. It’s become my favorite regional Victorian restaurant.

We love this winery. The wine is great. Wide selection of Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cab Sav and loads more. The food is really good, and there’s a nice little playground for younger children. We were there midweek today and it was pretty quiet. We’ve been there before on busy days and it’s still pretty good because there’s loads of space. Also, their fortified wines are amazing.

We stayed at the campground across the road, which is: so handy to all the milawa gourmet area has to offer, esp if he Brown Bros winery 👌🏼. The grounds are beautiful with lots of seating in the sun or shade on their manicured grass. We went in for a tasting & discovered delicious wines that aren’t on their tasting list, THANKS TO RUSSELL, who is super friendly & and font of knowledge! Being a sweet wine drinker, Russell introduced me to the strawberries & cream, raspberry & white chocolate, hot cross buns & moscato gold varieties. Delicious 👌🏼. So glad we visited & did the tastings. Bought plenty & will keep my eyes open for these limited edition varieties in the shops. Thx Brown Bros & Russell for a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Second time - We had a slow lunch course that was amazing, so there were different dishes. I like the oyster leaves that taste like oysters and chicken skin chocolate is good, too(chocolate was service and we couldn't guess what's inside). The service was welcoming and friendly 😊
I really enjoyed the whole dishes. Thanks
First time-Restaurants was booked out, but even the snack menu was great. Really want to try restaurant next time.

We had lunch at Brown Brothers Winery last Thursday and it was amazing. The $80 set menu was sensational with more than enough food. Each dish (from the delicious bread to the last course beef) was creative, tasty and full of flavour. Both wait staff were outstanding and really added to the wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch!

Fabulous service and wine! We were a last minute booking and were offered a wonderful table overlooking the property. The man at reception was the friendliest person ever. A big smile and a big warm welcome. We did the premium tasting of 8 of their wines... all of them yummy. And, the musical duo of guitar and violin walking around singing folk songs in French, English and Italian reminded me of being in the centre of Rome! Wonderful experience from beginning to end!!! Bravo!

What an amazing winery.
The wines are spectacular and well worth a visit.

We turned up today with no booking. A lovely lady looked after us, just started working there she said.
Great service from her, very knowledgeable with her wines and lovely to talk to.
Very nice antipasto platter, well worth it. Very relaxing environment. Very nice wines .
One thing I found surprising. We paid the $10 each for the wine tastings. However no refund on tasting costs after spending nearly $300 on wine and food.

Pizzini Wines is a cosy, friendly and welcoming establishment. You can definitely feel the family vibes and comfort upon the way you are received, from start to finish. There is quite an extensive range of wines and they are all unique and of high quality. I would highly recommend Pizzini for a weekend getaway!

We spent a long weekend here with friends. Three couples stayed in the magnificent Rosetta’s cottage. This is a beautifully constructed and lovingly maintained example of early sixties Australian architecture, but made with Italian craftsmanship. An exquisite terazzo patio, parquetry floors throughout, high ceilings and large double bedrooms make this residence an absolute delight. The mature plantings in the garden include exotic fruits, and glorious shade trees. We also partook of the cooking lessons conducted by Katrina. Let Katrina cast her spell over you too, especially if you love Italian food. We had a fantastic weekend in a most scenic spot, with great food, interesting wine and good company.

Again another wonderful King Valley establishment. Arrived only in time for a wine tasting. They were very generous given we weren’t there for a meal. Michelle particularly looked after us. Some interesting & excellent wines which we purchased. . Highly recommend. Top picturesque spot.

Pizzini Wines is a tremendous place to visit - the wine is outstanding, ALL the staff are friendly, very helpful and the setting is beautiful.
Particular compliments to Caroline who was super friendly and knowledgeable in conducting our Rare Italian's tasting. I left extremely satisfied with the experience and will be back again.
Be sure to give Pizzini a go - you won't regret it.

Absolutely amazing little hideaway clean friendly picturesque location and the breakfast hamper left there for me was just right eggs, bacon, beans, bread, butter, milk, oats, yoghurt, jam I couldn’t eat it all, and I would 100% recommend staying here 👌 wish I had stayed a few more nights and the Mountain View hotel food wow and I mean wow the Porkchop was cooked to perfection, and I could’ve eaten three more of them 🙌 the potato, gnocchi, beef and pork Bolognese was the same and the starters the home-made beef and pork meatballs was yummy I didn’t want to leave👌

Loved our visit here, granted it was a while back now. Staff were welcoming and warm and the wines we got to try were sublime, you cannot go wrong with Pizzini! I doubt I’ll be in the area again but if I am then I’m coming straight back.

A lovely wine tasting experience in a gorgeous setting. The lady conducting our tasting was extremely knowledgeable about the different grape varietals and blends, and told some fascinating stories about the history in the surrounding area.

I purchased the Pizzini food and wine experience for my wife’s birthday, and we were not disappointed.
The staff at both the winery and the mountain view hotel go above and beyond to make this experience special.
They rolled out the red carpet for us and treated us like rockstars. The service is spot on.
The winery itself is beautiful and the wine delicious. There was not a wine I didn’t like. We are now in the Pizzini wine club.
The antipasti style lunch was also perfect.
The mountain view hotel beer garden is a special place, hidden in the trees and this where we had our 4 course degustation dinner. The food again was delicious and wine to match.
There is to many great things to mention about this experience and I would recommend to anyone.
Thanks to Caroline and all the staff at the mountain view hotel who made this experience special for myself and my wife.
We will be back 👌

High class and quality winery in the King Valley, specialising in many Italian variety of grapevines making superb wines.
Service amazing from Michelle who knew her wines.

We’ve planned a visit to Chrismont for some time. We had high expectations and were not disappointed. The cellar door & restaurant are situated high on a Hill with magnificent views of King Valley. Our cellar door tasting was excellent - we got through the full list and enjoyed many of the wines. The lunch was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had such a great time and enjoyed the wines so much, we signed up for membership and departed with a full box of wines

We have dined before, the food, staff and views all outstanding and second to none in the King Valley. However my visit on Thursday was just for a couple bottles of wine for the weekend, I ended up with 6, but could’ve bought them all. Their wines are true to Italian style and of high quality, but affordable. A varied and extensive range to try also. Well done Chrismont!

Oh wow! Where do I start? The food is absolutely incredible, the wines are the best in the valley, the views from the deck are amazing, and the service by every staff member was THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD! Really, we were served by 5-6 staff members and they were all incredibly friendly, efficient and fun. You can tell they all love their job. Did I mention the food, the wine? Will definitely be back here many more times to come!

We dined in the Larder restaurant today, a celebration for our daughter's graduation. We were welcomed warmly from our first moment to the last, treated to a pre-lunch wine tasting to help us choose our wines. All of the dishes were superb, and the service outstanding.

Brilliant service and food on our honeymoon visit to the Chrismont. The staff were kind and caring and very genuine. We were congratulated by at least 3 waitstaff and thought the food was delicious. We ordered two courses and were so full. I’m sure the deserts were fantastic too. The view is delightful and we would definitely return and recommend to others!

Must-visit destination in King Valley.
Rocked up for a very tasty lunch at the restaurant, delicious food, relaxing vibe and views (reminded us a bit of Orange with rolling hills and sparkling cellar door perched on high) and of course great wines too. Tip: have a glass of prosecco to start. Whites, Reds and stickies all fantastic.
Customer service was A+ with some warm-hearted banter and was quick and efficient.
Will definitely be back to stay a night or two once accommodation opens up.

A truly wonderful experience in a superb setting overlooking vineyard with views of the King Valley region. Wine tastings are enjoyable, and well done, but the real pleasure comes from dining in their restaurant. Wonderful service, a well thought out menu, excellent presentation, flavours and combinations in all our dishes. Highly recommend.

The outstanding customer service & hospitality started long before we arrived at Chrismont Wines. Jo's communication regarding our accommodation booking, restaurant booking & local tips could not be faulted. Our breath was taken away as we drove through the Chrismont gates; the vines were a welcoming sight & the sky was filled with more stars than we can ever remember seeing. The kitchen was stocked with an abundance of beautiful foods, from sweet to savoury - we were never left hungry! Sitting on the decking looking out over the property, provided the perfect setting for us to entertain & take time out from city life. The service, food & wine in the restaurant didn't disappoint. John from the cellar door was entertaining & knowledgeable. Jo & Arnie were so welcoming, friendly & generous with their hospitality. Google reviews are great, but WOM is even better... we have been telling all of our friends & family about our memorable stay at Chrismont Wines & we can't wait to return!

A huge thank-you to Nigel, whose knowledge and friendly banter made our tasting visit a memorable occasion. The diverse range of wines were all delicious and reasonably priced - struggled to make a decision for the dozen bottles we bought.

Thanks again Nigel.

I recently made a lunch booking at Chrismont and asked about accommodation unfortunately the accommodation was fully booked but Jo offered to help me with local accommodation. I then changed the lunch date to my partners birthday the very next day and this was no problem, Jo emailed me again to see if I had secured accommodation and if she could help with this and then offered to provide us with an antipasto platter to take to our accommodation that night. We have had several meals at Chrismont and the level of care and service always amazes me. Can’t wait to catch up soon

The new owners are as Ned mad as I am! Had a lovely talk with them and went into their museum which they are planning to do some improvements. They have lots of souvenirs to choose from. I enjoyed my visit and highly recommend a look

Don't get thrown off by the tacky (no offense)-looking entrance and tourist gift shop. Inside is a museum easily worthy of an installation at a large natural/national history museum like Melbourne Museum or similar. Most impressive was the full scale replica of the Kelly homestead, as well as the cockatoos and cat, which are completely unrelated but still very cute.
Friendly and enthusiastic staff, solid collection of random period artifacts as well as relevant documents such as newspaper clippings, wanted posters, well worth the $12 Adult ticket fee.
Very homely vibe, the people who work there clearly care about the legend and story behind Ned Kelly and are happy to share it.
Travis Ng — Google review
Ned Kelly was an infamous bushranger and outlaw who had his last siege in Glenrowan when he was captured in 1880 and hanged in Melbourne gaol. This museum provides a great insight into who he was and how he came up against the law and police in Victoria. The homestead at the back is a replica of his home and gives a peak into life in Victoria back then. The Glenrowan town itself has lots of places preserved well still showcasing the story of Ned Kelly. Definitely worth a visit if you around Glenrowan.
Nakul pisolkar — Google review
Great little place to buy anything and everything Ned Kelly related. If you can't find it here, there's something wrong.
They also have a wicked museum to check out.
A MUST SEE if you're visiting Glenrowan.
Darrell Hamilton — Google review
Enjoyed our wander around this lovely little Museum with a wealth of information and replicas. The Kelly house out the back is well done and really gives you a feel for how they lived in past days. I really enjoyed learning about the history of Ned Kelly. We also visited Beechworth where he was trialed first and we think we found his unmarked grave site at Greta Cemetary. At $12 pp, this Museum is the most expensive that we have been to. They would make more than enough selling all of the Kelly trinkets and gifts out front in the shop.

Great place to visit and learn more about Ned Kelly and his life. Lots of interesting information, memorabilia and historical items. The replica house was very interesting as were the wonderful cockatoos.

If you want to know what really happened to Ned Kelly, his family and mates don't go past this shop. A fascinating dog friendly museum, replica home out at the rear of the property, 2 very old and cheeky sulphur crested cockatoos and a blacksmith (in winter time) Simply amazing details of life in the Ned Kelly era. Owners are wonderful people with a passion for sharing their knowledge. Also a little toy animal hunt for the kids. Shop is full of terrific souvenirs.

Big monument of the bushranger Ned Kelly. Plenty of things to get photos I front of. Heaps of parking and just off the main motorway.
A few cafes and places to grab a drink and some food.
Worth a look if you're going past. Won't hold you up very long at all.

Honestly excellent.
Small home made museum that lays out the history of the Kelly gang really well.
It’s filled with relics from the time, and some key artefacts from history.
They have even rebuild the Kelly homestead out the back.
$12 for an adult is well worth it.
They were also so friendly, and so passionate.
To top it off, they give you a map of the town with all the key places to visit and will chat about recommended places to visit.

Stopped by here on the drive from Melbourne to Wodonga. Quaint art gallery with free entry, so you're not losing out on anything if your expectations aren't met. Cafe on site with both indoor and outdoor area by the lake. Didn't buy any food or drink so can't comment on that. I only wish they'd paint the outside of the building with some art work as it's quite an eye sore away from the entry.

We visit annually in February; usually lovely food and service, at an upper level price but not bad.
11/2/24; long wait for service [were few ppl there] , food was very nice but overpriced - $30 for my smoked salmon salad poke bowl;
Others had way overpriced meals as well
One couple in our group wanted to share a lovely big toastie … it costs $2.50 for an extra spare plate upon which to put the 2nd half sandwich!
Naturally they declined and used the shared chip plate lol
Unfortunately I think this place has changed for the worse since last year
Overall 4/10

A small-ish but modern and pleasant art gallery with 2 exhibition spaces. There is a cafe at the entrance. Interesting architecture with triangular windows above and large windows offering vistas of the bridge, river and gardens. Free entry. Ramp entrance - but can be slippery in wet weather. Car parking close by. A good place to visit on damp days..

A lovely quaint stop on on hot day when in Benalla. The cafe has a sheltered area on the deck to enjoy the view while choosing one of the delicious menu options. The attached gallery is great for a wander while waiting for lunch. The gardens offer nice walks to relax after lunch.

We normally stop here for lunch on the way up north. This time, the meals were terrible - overcooked fish, undercooked chips for me. The rest were no better. The large milkshake was half a glass, not a full glass, and everything was very expensive. $178 for four adult meals and two kids' meals.
As usual, the gallery exhibitions were fabulous. I suggest you go for the art and go somewhere else for lunch.

Great little brewery! We were the only ones in there at 1130 on a Saturday morning and it was great. We could see them making the beer and tried quite a few. The sours were both incredible and worth taking home. Also had two pizzas which came out quick and were delicious!

Great atmosphere and friendly enough service. Enjoyed the beer tasting slate of four beers. The pizzas were very disappointing im sorry to say. I was surprised when I walked in and saw a couple of electric ovens, I don't know why, but we were expecting one of those impressive wood fire ovens that you see around various pizza venues.
Pizzas were unimpressive to say the least. Good experience but in my opinion there are better pizzas to be had.

Our first trip to Mansfield and BIG craft brewery fans, we didn't miss the opportunity to pay a visit to Social Bandit. Situated a 5 minute drive outside of town, we may well have walked had it not being pouring with rain. Arriving at 7pm, we were the only two people for a while until 3 other couples arrived. Beer was good as was the music selection which kept us entertained with guessing the band names and year. Food selection was limited with the usual offerings for craft breweries of wood fired pizza, but was tasty enough. Closing at 9pm, we spent a pleasant enough 2 hours.

Amazing setting in the Dookie hills. Our groups shared a number of plates and drinks. All were good other than the shared plate. $48 for a handful of nuts, bland dip, average cheese and some cheap crackers was ridiculous. Shouldn't have been more than $28 for what was on it. Highly recommend going as staff, the setting and majority of the food are great but I'd be avoiding the shared plate at all costs...

Asked about the staff about it, the staff said yes, their kitchen will close at 4pm and not making any hot food after 2pm, but only bread! So we drove one and half hour to this winery just to eat their bread?????

It's lovely sitting on the verandah with a glass of wine and nibbles and looking out over the valley.
They have set up chairs and umbrellas on the lawn for couples all also looking out at the view.
There are tasting platters of wine where you can taste 3 different types for $10, which is a good idea if you can't decide. You can do the normal wine tasting for free.
Numerous dips and the breads are home made and quite good.

The views are spectacular and so is the wine but as my 90 year old mum said these people need the sack. We waited just under an hour for a plate of three cheeses, some crackers and a bit of onion jam. The place was half full. 5 staff and it took this long. Lucky we didn’t order anything cooked. Very disappointing.
The De Bortoli Yarra Valley Cellar Door and Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a wine tasting or a casual meal. With its leafy vineyard views and elegant dining room, it is the perfect spot for a romantic evening out or an intimate family gathering. The winery's extensive wine list features modern, seasonal Italian wines, as well as more oaked wines.
The drive to De Bertolli was very enjoyable and part of the experience coming here. The winery, gardens and building are exquisite. The restaurant atmosphere is an authentic Italian feel.
Our waiter, Jarvis, was friendly and got the balance right for timing of service. He assisted us to match our wine to the meal with a wine tasting first. The chosen wine was delicate and lovely, matching the lightness of the dishes we chose.
As a foodie and taste consultant, I have a very sensitive sense of smell and taste. Each of the dishes were delectable, elegant and perfectly balanced and visually pleasing. The textures and visual quality made the experience exceed our expectation. The hardest part was choosing from the exceptional menu.
Compliments to the chef, Ben Levine. If you want something unique and truly beautiful come and enjoy De Bertolli. You'll be delighted as we were.

We had a very hearty meal with generous portions. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
My friend who is a chef said the duck breast meat was excellent and the best she ever had.
Mushroom risotto was very tasty with a strong mushroom flavour.
Dessert was excellent too.

I went. Visitors come by bus because it appears in the guidebook. It's not as bad as CHANDON, but it's the worst if you encounter a bus.
By chance, I entered the restaurant a few hours before the bus arrived, so I could enjoy it slowly. But compared to Japan, it's expensive, 14,000 yen per person for a two-course lunch with two glasses of wine. I wonder if it would be better to pay 14,000 yen for the famous French cuisine in Tokyo. However, there are many wines to drink at the manufacturer, you can drink in the local air, and you can listen to various things, which is the best. But it's expensive. I really feel that the prices in Japan are cheap.
The picture is for 2 people who are cheaper for lunch. The sparkling here (more expensive than the one sold in Japan) is so delicious that I bought a box.

Beautiful cellar door with excellent tastings. The views here are pretty but it's the tastings that are memorable. Had a tasting with wine and cheese pairing and the pairings were so well done. Both the wines and cheese shone and while I prefer drinking reds, all 5 wines that we tasted were delicious. Our host and server was very knowledgeable, good at explaining the tastings, and hospitable. Totally recommend

Beautiful vineyard with onsite restaurant and wine tasting.
We started our afternoon after an hour drive from Melbourne by having lunch at De Bortoli Winery which is conveniently located a few mins from our accommodation. The restaurant have a set menu for 2 and 3 course where you get to choose from a selection of entree, mains, and dessert. We got the 2 course and opted for the salumi plate, kingfish, linguine, seasonal fish and finished off with the Affogato cocktail. The food was fresh and presentation was appetising. The staff and service was gold class.
After our meal we went for a stroll around the vineyard. The scenery was spectacular with grape trees going as far as the eyes can see. For souvenirs we got a couple of bottles of wine after being well looked after by Tiffany during our wine tasting. Wine tasting is affordable at $10 or $20 for the premium, you'll also get to learn about the wine making process and history from the knowledgeable staff.

Lovely experience here. Small sized meals but perfect for lunch. Bigger appetites would need sides and 3 courses.
Meals were beautifully presented, tasty and quality produce. Beef with jus was delish.
Waiting staff very good.
Catered very well for people with dietary requirements. Dairy and gluten free options very good. Gluten free bread was morish.

Magnificent experience. The winery is just fantastic, settled between the greenery. We had a cheese degustation pared with wines. The attention and guidance was impeccable. There’s a restaurant to have breakfast or lunch as well. Wine shop. Easy parking area. Recommended.

Amazing winery to visit along with the beautiful scenery of vineyards. Make sure to book in a dining reservation beforehand as it can be very busy during peak hours. However, if you’re unfortunate to not have a table - head down to the store below of the restaurant and pickup some goodies to create your own picnic. If you’re lucky enough, you can even have a good game of ‘spot the wallaby’ with your mates 😄

We did the tasting menu at the cellar door and it was amazing. We had Jasmine serve us. She was amazing and she definitely knew her wines. The tasting menu was amazing. Definitely recommend the Syrah and the noble one botrytis semillon 2019. Definitely a must try in the Yarra Valley

The view and 2 course meal was quite worth the drive from Melbourne!
The ambiance and service was great.
Really enjoyed the vineyards wine!
Their server Aidan from the restaurant was polite and really welcoming.
Thank you for a great experience!

One of my favourite wineries in Yarra Valley!
I’ve been here many times and it is always such a pleasure to talk to the staff here.
Ladies who serve wines in the cellar know a lot about wines and give you enough details to choose what kinda wines you need to go with.
I must say the restaurant during the week is a must. I still enjoyed everything when I came weekends previously but the peace around the winery made every moment so perfect.
I needed a break and my needs were fully satisfied with good wine, food and people.
Make sure to bring a designated driver if you can😋😆😅
Very good setting everywhere
Def good spots for photos👍👍😄

Felt more like a fancy cafe than exclusive restaurant. The child care session in the corner with screaming children didn't help and was the reason we got up and left. Definitely overpriced for the quality.

I would rate my experience at De Bortoli wines Yarra Valley as 3 out of 5 stars.
The positives:
- The food at Locale restaurant was fantastic and deserving of a 5/5 rating. It seems like they excel in providing a delightful dining experience in terms of cuisine.
- The grounds of the establishment were beautiful and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for patrons.
However, there were some notable drawbacks:
- The wait staff appeared to be overwhelmed and understaffed, resulting in slow drink service and delayed attention to customers. Waiting for an hour for a drink refill and having to signal for service is not ideal.
- When it came time to settle the bill, there was a significant wait due to staff being occupied with other tasks, which can be frustrating.
- The policy of not allowing the remaining balance of a gift voucher to be used in the future, despite a generous 3-year expiry date in the terms and conditions, was disappointing and inconvenient. It resulted in the purchase of $120 worth of wine that may not have been desired or needed.
In summary, while De Bortoli wines Yarra Valley offers a delightful dining experience in terms of food quality and ambiance, the issues with service and the gift voucher policy detracted from the overall enjoyment of the visit. A 3-star rating reflects the mix of positive and negative aspects of the experience.

Yering Station Winery is a prestigious winery located in the Yarra Valley, in Victoria, Australia. Established in 1838, it is one of the oldest and most respected wineries in the region. The wines produced by Yering Station are known for their extraordinary variety and quality. Additionally, the winery features an upscale restaurant with stunning views of the valley.
The dishes were delicious, they only have a selection of 2 courses $70 or 3 courses $85 and we wanted 3 mains, 2 entrees. The manager was happy to charge us $48 for the extra main so that worked out great for us. They offered free wine tastings and a wide range of selections. Stunning view and great service. Quite pricey but worth the dining experience

Great food and Service. The waitress went to bring colouring pencils for my 4 year old daughter which was much appreciated.
The quail wasn't gamey but the sauce was. Cheese platter could feed 4 I reckon.
The steak eye was amazing! Very well cooked with so much flavour! I was also impressed with the Dory. It had so much texture and bite compared to what I find in my country. The rabbit felt like tuna to me though but still good.

Excellent service and food! The waitress are very friendly and helpful. I booked the table online, they reserved a table with awesome window view for us! All the starters and mains are outstanding (looks pretty & taste good), the potions are bigger than i expected. It’s make sense to have 15% surcharge during the public holiday. I would recommend this place to my friends.

We booked for lunch for celebrating birthday.
But we went to wine tasting before start lunch.
They said if you booked for lunch at the restaurant, tasting fee will be no charged. That’s very nice to know!!
All wine was nice.
Staff at the tasting were very attentive.
Staff in the restaurant , they welcomed us with big smile and services we received was excellent and friendly.
Food was beautifully presented and taste was very sensitive.
The portion was just right size for me. Just once thing if I can add, the food was bit under seasoning for my preference.
But overall We had lovely dinning experiences .
The staff who served us was so lovely, I think her name was Julietta. Thank you so much for your lovely smile :) Your smile made our day!!

The dining experience could have been better. My steak temperature was a bit overcook but the food itself tasted amazing.
the presentation is on point but sadly the entire experience could have been more faster. Waited too long for each food.

Came here during the Easter weekend and the place was packed as expected. Did the wine tasting and there was a 30 mins wait and I was understanding, so we spent the time browsing the premises and admiring some of the artwork, architecture and the garden. Beautifully curated and on another day could spend a whole afternoon. Definitely one of the best wineries in the area.

Exceptional wine tasting at Yering Station Cellar Door! 🍷 Kudos to Ryan, the manager, for his expertise and hospitality. As a qualified winemaker from NZ, I vouch for the incredible taste of their wines. The 2021 Reserve Shiraz Viognier stole the show— very smooth tannins, ready for drinking now and ripe red fruits on the nose. Highly recommended!

I recently visited Yering Station Winery while on a Hen’s winery tour. The property was beautiful and had a great variety of wines. While we were there, we did a wine tasting session.
The staff member (sorry I don’t remember her name) was very knowledgeable on both the wines we were tasting, as well as the history of the winery which was great to listen to and learn about.
Overall I enjoyed the whole experience. I would come back here to try the food.

Always love visiting this winery as they have such beautiful grounds. Their tastings are all very good value, we did the $15 tasting where we were able to try 9 different wines. Also if you buy any wine you get your tasting fees waived. Only thing is we came close to closing so our tasting was a bit rushed but still very enjoyable!

A lovely treat for the weekend!
We went to Yering Station for a Christmas lunch and it was absolutely delicious! We had the option for a 2 or 3 course meal but I would recommend the 3 as the food is too yum to miss. I had the zucchini flower entreé, and for main the Lamb rack which came with a mushroom pie and for dessert a peach panacotta!
Definitely a pricier experience but great for a special occasion :)

Went there today for a 70th birthday. The food looks great in the photos, but had absolutely no flavour. The fish in the first photo was extremely dry and no flavour, the crab was exactly the same, I wouldn’t even call it crab for the minuscule amount that was inside. For $80 for two courses it was an absolute rip off. The only meal anyone in my family had anything positive words to say was the Kangaroo. Even the dessert had no flavour. We spent over $1000 as a family and feel extremely ripped off.
No table water, and no one came back to offer if we required more we had to flag staff down. Attention to detail lacking, no salt and pepper on the table either. Now I NEVER season my food but in this instance it definitely required seasoning. Don’t waste your money.

We came for a wine tasting after a recommendation from friends. Yering Station boasts the reputation as one of the oldest wineries in the region, and their skills are apparent in their wine. There is a good range of options for tastings and the Estate option provides you with the best selection.
After trying the Estate selection, I fell in love with the Shiraz Viognier and left with a bottle to share with my family 🍷The garden entrance to the tasting room is gorgeous and worth a visit, especially on a sunny day.

Located in Seymour is a commerative site dedicated to the service people who served in South Vietnam in 1962-1975.
The building on site has poster displays and is a replica of a concert stage built at Nui Dat during the Vietnam War called Luscombe Bowl.
On site is a Huey helicopter elevated on a pole and Centurion tank.
(Sorry Keith the Huey on a pole trumps your land Rover on a pole)
There is the Long Tan Cross to commemorate soldiers who lost their lives during the battle of Long Tan on 18th August 1966.
The commemoration wall has background images superimposed over the names of the 60,267 service personnel and 11 tracker dogs who served in South Vietnam.
There are holders for poppy flowers.
Overall a great tribute

We arrived 9.45am and didn't leave until 4.45pm, tired and exhausted but we all agreed it was a great day. We splashed out and got a Beach Club VIP pass for the sun lounges and think it was worth it, very relaxed especially when it gets really crowded. The customer service at the theme park was incredibly disappointing. From long wait times to unhelpful staff, it made what should have been a fun day out incredibly frustrating. Our family went there yesterday for easter egg hunt which would have been first ever egg hunt experience for my 2.5 yr old son but due to lack of humbleness and empathy among staff, that experience went sour. They at first forgot to give us egg hunt pass at entry despite of asking them if we need one, FYI we 4 adults and 1 kid all bought full priced day pass and egg hunt ticket was included in same price. We lined up for 20 mins and when it was our turn to go for egg hunt, they said we cant allow u without egg hunt ticket which entry staff forgot to hand it to us. We mentioned if its okay if we show the entry ticket. They denied & said we need the egg hunt ticket and said to leave. My husband quickly ran to entry gate and got the ticket. We were back in literally 2 mins and showed them the ticket but they said now its turn for 4-6 yr kids and we cant let parent accompany your kid as big kids go on their own. They were not considerate at all knowing a child is awaiting to go. The hunt was meant to be till 1230 hrs for 0-3 yrs kids but they had started sending 4-6 yr kids from 1220hrs onwards. Further to that we went to icecream parlour located there to collect drinks. My son is a fussy eater and he wanted to have waffle cone by itself without icecream and we requested for same nd said we are happy to pay but they said we cant sell only cone without ice cream. What kind of customer service is this? It's disheartening when a place meant for enjoyment falls short in providing basic assistance and courtesy to its visitors.

We had an absolute ball at funfields today. All the young men and women working were really lovely, very helpful and had a sense of humour when we were a little (haha) scared of some of the rides. A really enjoyable day.
Just know if you are going on any of the land rides you need to be dry, so we did all the water activities and then changed into our dry clothes. We were there for 7 hrs.

We want to say a HUGE thank you to Angelo Dinardo for being such a generous and kind Managing Director of this place. Today at 4.44pm after waiting for a good 20 minutes at Supenova we were turned down by the staffs. They told us that all the ride would close in 5 mins. We pleaded with them, telling them that we have waited for so long, but they didnt budge. My two daughters were so sad about it, so we and a bunch of others left. But, on the way down we accidentally met with Angelo and his dog, he saw us looking gloomed and questioned us why we went down. We told him the story, and he said “No one should be turned down, go back up and tell them Angelo said so”. So we did!
We had one last ride at Supenova and IT WAS THE BEST!
Thank you so much for bringing the smile back on my daughter’s faces.
Highly recommend this waterpark ❤️

Easily accessible via public transport, best to take the Metro after games as the tram come infrequently and it’s always packed.

Great stadium for watching AFL football. Only disappointment is the extreme wait when purchasing a beverage or food (up to 25 minutes wait for a drink). Serving crowds in a timely manner should get easier after a century of events hosting over 100,000 people.

The official tour of the MCG was really interesting with lots of facts and anecdotes included by the friendly and knowledgeable guide. I was last at the ground in 1996 and it has now been completely transformed, yet still retains its sense of history and tradition. Definitely worth a visit for any cricket and/or Australian rules football fans; plus the walking options from the city centre include strolling through beautiful parks or along the Yarra riverbank.

I’m American and have only seen two cricket games and yet I still loved the tour. Peter, our guide, did a great job.
The tour lasted 75-mins. It moves quickly so you see everything. There is time to take pictures and our guide took some for everyone as well in certain spots if you wanted them for your group .
You need to be comfortable walking quite a bit and walking quickly. Our group was a reasonable size.
There are lifts and I’m sure they offer special tours for those less ambulatory.

If I could get a membership. The Melbourne Cricket Ground avails it's magic when you notice. I noticed. Now all I am waiting for is an invite. Seriously though the MCG has history, atmosphere and community. Join in you may even hear the roar.

Amazing stadium, but you already know that. View from any seat in the house is amazing and unobstructed. Great food options on site with all the stadium favourites. To avoid fighting for a park take the option to park more central in the city and enjoy the walk down the river and over the bridge that leads you right up to the stadium. If you have not been then book some tickets it is an experience of a lifetime!

The MCG and its accompanying museum certainly have a great rich history about them. There's much to see and do, and without being bias, I have to admit I had a good time, despite being a musician by nature and not the sporting type.
It's a great place to bring kids and even seasoned sports fans will learn something about the processes and preparations that take place prior to each game. Believe it or not, mowing the lawn isn't the only job needed.😂

The MCG is the biggest and most spectacular sports precinct in Australia. It's such a vibrant venue, delivering one of the best sports atmospheres in the world. I would recommend visiting even if you're not a sports person as this place is all about the experience. Facilities are great, and the stadium is easily accessible via public transport. Food and drinks are reasonably priced for a sports venue.

Did a tour here and it was very enjoyable, Bryan was diligent and informative. We moved through lots of areas within the MCG and he gave different information and history for each. Would recommend a tour here, give you a chance to see the grounds without all the hustle of an event!

Although I know next to nothing about cricket, this was such a great visit. The stadium tour was really interesting, and you get to see some fantastic facilities in the ground itself. The museum is also fantastic, so many interactive elements, including the opportunity to take part in some sports too. Would recommend, whether you’re a sports fan or not. Thank you Sue for a fantastic tour, hope you get your blazer!

Attending a footy match at the MCG was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The atmosphere of the stadium is truly electric, making every moment of the game feel thrilling and intense. I highly recommend getting a seat close to the ground to truly feel the excitement and energy of the match. There is ample parking available both around and inside the MCG, which made getting there a breeze.
Inside the stadium, there are several food options ranging from snacks to full meals, as well as drinks and coffee to keep you refreshed throughout the game. The match typically lasts around 3 hours, so be sure to grab something warm and a jacket if needed. Additionally, there are convenient toilets located inside the MCG for your convenience. Overall, I had an amazing time at the MCG and would highly recommend it to any sports fan looking for a top-notch stadium experience. Can't wait to go back for another game!"

What a historic tour I had, headed straight from the airport and was able to keep my luggage in the locker space they had. Absolutely no issues.
Ian was our guide and he was the most exciting person I have ever seen. He had so much energy, excitement, enthusiasm, and passion about cricket and all the historical events he shared with us was something special and most of us didn’t know.
The museum tour is on your own but there are guides present as well. They will help you understand about anything you ask but it’s not limited to cricket. MCG is about everything.
I highly recommend the tour.

I have been a big Taylor fan for many years; however, I was actively considering not attending the Eras tour in fear of getting in and out of the event with 96,000 people plus everyone on the outside listening in.
However, I was equally shocked and impressed by:
✅How well they had the crowds moving.
✅How easy it was to get around.
✅How well organised it was.
✅How friendly the staff were.
✅How well the facilities handed the capacity.

Great stadium, huge but well organised. It was easy to get inside the stadium and find our seats. The canteen/ restaurant was big and it served food and drinks with reasonable prices. Staff were very nice with great custumer services, security guards were friendly and helpful. Toilet was clean and easily accessible. Even though there was a huge crowd of 100,000 people attending the event, we walked and exited easily. The concert of was out of this word. What a great experience we had!!!

Fantastic stadium. Well laid out with a well lit concourse. Ushers everywhere, all willing to help (unlike in North American arenas and stadiums). Large screen monitors everywhere, or so it seems. My first AFL game. Fortunately had my neice's boyfriend to explain the game to me.

The MCG is the home ground for my football team and I am so glad it is because it’s the perfect setting for a good game of football. With accessibility to all levels, beautiful views of the field, and multiple places to eat it’s one of my favourite sporting locations.
If you head along on a day where sport isn’t being played you can see the sports museum which has a vast history of Australian and international sports on display. Perfect for families and friends alike for a day trip and ideal for any sports fan on a visit to the G. Staff are friendly and helpful, facilities are well maintained and cared for, and the atmosphere on the biggest sporting days is electric. Give the MCG a visit on your next trip into Richmond.
The Fitzroy Gardens is a 26-hectare private garden in Melbourne's city centre. The gardens have model Tudor villages, tree-lined walking paths, cafes and other attractions.
Fitzroy Gardens is the most favourite and best place to refresh your mind and enjoy. There are lots of things to do in these Gardens. I like The mini city and near the city there is a fairly tree. The play ground is so beautiful for kids. You can walk around the Gardens and enjoy the amazing views in the centre of the city. There are lots of fountains and small areas of water. I advise you to visit this beautiful place and enjoy it.

A magnificent green gem at the border of city blocks. We took a leisurely walk on a sunny Spring day when the rain went away and visited The Conservatory and plants, fairy tree, mini Tudor village, dolphin fountain and park spaces. There are very pretty flowers within and around the conservatory. There's limited metered parking around the park if you are visiting by car.

Might have been my first time at this park and I loved it. The grounds were very well maintained and clean. The luscious grass were so inviting; if I had the time I would have gladly fixed a picnic and lay about. I spotted several individuals as well as groups relaxing under the shade of the trees. I even found one gentleman laying on the soft grass taking an afternoon snooze.
Furthermore there is this information centre where you can grab some maps of the city that is catered to your interest (such a need idea). It give you a good tour and for various points of interest.

After spending the first 2 days well toasted in 38, 36 degree weather, the third day was a pleasant 19 degrees cloudy day which we capitalized on for a visit to Fitzroy Gardens. The garden was a short 15 min tram ride from the CBD area. Scenery was really good and really relaxing. It's surprising that there was little human traffic given how nice the place was. Besides very nice flowers, plants and trees, there were birds found throughout the park. We completed 60 percent of the park and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves including a long period we just sat down on the bench to watch the world go by.

This garden is wonderful to chill with family, friends, or yourself! It’s surrounded by greens and has some historical cottage houses. There’s also a flower house where you can see a lot of amazing plants! Good for photos, the room is very heated, and the worker there is friendly as well. It’s also a nice place for children indeed, as there are tiny cottage houses and “fairies” on the tree. Very cute.
The garden is not too big where you get lost like in the botanical garden, but it’s also not small, and it’s next to another garden called the treasure garden, so you can also check that out!
All in all, I love Fitzroy gardens.

Nestled amidst the bustling streets of Melbourne, Fitzroy Gardens was a delightful surprise. I wasn't expecting much from a city park, but stepping through the gates felt like entering another world. Lush greenery swallowed the noise of traffic, replaced by the melodic chirping of birds and the gentle gurgle of fountains.
The gardens themselves were a wonderland of manicured lawns, vibrant flower beds bursting with color, and these towering old elm trees that provided these cool, shady pockets. I spent ages wandering the paths, getting lost in the maze of hedges and stopping every few minutes to admire a particularly beautiful bloom or a quirky statue.
One of the highlights for me was Captain Cook's Cottage. Stepping inside that tiny house really transported me back in time. It's hard to imagine living in such a cramped space, but it definitely gave me a new appreciation for modern amenities! The Fairies Tree was another delightful discovery. All these little carved faces peeking out from the bark – it felt like something straight out of a fairytale.
Overall, Fitzroy Gardens was a lovely escape from the urban jungle. It's a place where you can relax, recharge, and appreciate a bit of history and beauty. Whether you're a local or a tourist, I highly recommend taking a break and exploring this little oasis in the heart of Melbourne.

Nice, big, spacious park filled with trees and plenty of shade and sunbathing spots. This park is vast and near public transport. Go to read a book under a tree, have a picnic with friends, or let your kid run around for hours. There’s a playground which is more suited for older small children (like age 5 and up), a couple of nice fountain, and lots of paths.

St Patrick's Cathedral is an imposing example of Gothic Revival architecture from the 1800s, well-known for its unique bells and ornate stained glass. Visitors to the area can enjoy a full day of eclectic cafes, small shops, and iconic landmarks such as State Parliament buildings, Shrine of Remembrance, Federation Square, Arts Centre, Yarra River, and Fitzroy Garden. Exploring St Patrick's Cathedral may include attending a short service that takes place at 11am on Tuesdays.
Fair notice at the beginning of this review, I am not religious. I am a huge fan of church and cathedral architecture though.
This was an incredible spiritual experience for my wife, son and I. The amber glow from the translucent alabaster windows beautifully lit every nook and cranny of this wonderful building. Would definitely recommend this place as an awe-inspiring place of worship or for those who just admire gothic brickwork.
The surrounding garden is also incredibly beautiful and worth a stroll.

As a tourist exploring Melbourne, one of the highlights of my visit was seeing St. Patrick's Cathedral. This magnificent church captivated me with its stunning Gothic architecture and towering spires. From the moment I laid eyes on its intricate facade, I was in awe of its beauty and grandeur. Stepping inside, I was greeted by the peaceful ambiance and interior adorned with intricate stained glass windows and ornate decorations. It was a truly humbling experience to witness such a magnificent place of worship and a must-see for anyone visiting Melbourne.

Architecturally stunning and full of history. The building, images and furniture are spotless. Unlike other St Pat’s churches, there are not a lot of images of the saint itself but rather some iconography here and there, which makes it quite interesting to discover.

St. Patrick's Cathedral in Melbourne is a beautiful and historic church that is well worth a visit. On my recent visit, I was disappointed that I was unable to enter the cathedral as there was a wedding taking place. However, even from the outside the cathedral is impressive and the architecture is stunning. The cathedral is beautifully adorned with intricate details and the stained glass windows are breathtaking. The surrounding grounds are also lovely and provide a peaceful setting. I can only imagine how beautiful the inside is. I would recommend checking the schedule before visiting, and to be considerate when there's a wedding or other service taking place. Despite not being able to enter, it's still a beautiful landmark to visit in Melbourne and a great representation of the gothic architecture.

Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Melbourne is dedicated to St Patrick, the pioneering Irish bishop.
The cathedral is built on east–west axis, with the altar at the eastern end, symbolising belief in the second coming of Christ. The plan is in the style of a Latin cross, consisting of a nave with side aisles and a sanctuary with seven chapels, and sacristies.
Dedicated in 1851 and consecrated in 1897, it is built in Gothic style with majestic towers and high arches. Interior had a golden glow from the stained glass windows.

St Patrick's Cathedral is a sight to behold. I wasn't sure what to expect, but wow, it really takes your breath away. The stonework is this beautiful, intricate shade of brown and as you walk closer, you start noticing all these cool details - little carvings, gargoyles peering down from the spires. It's grand, but not over the top.
Inside, it felt calming, even though there were other visitors too. There's this hushed reverence in the air, but it's welcoming at the same time. I loved the stained glass windows - the colors were so rich and vibrant, they almost seemed to glow. They definitely added to the peaceful atmosphere.
It's not just a pretty building, though. There's a real sense of history there. You can't help but think about all the people who've walked through those same doors for generations. It made me reflect a bit, you know?
Overall, I would highly recommend checking out St Patrick's Cathedral. It's a beautiful and peaceful place, even if you're not religious. It's a true Melbourne landmark.

St Bartlett's Cathedral is Australia's tallest and southern hemisphere's tallest church, and the second tallest is St. Paul Cathedral across from Commonwealth Square.
The exterior of the church building is made of local Victorian turquoise and similar materials, so it has a dark brown color.Decorated around the building with a large number of stone art, the entire church building presents a magnificent view.
The interior of the church is equally impressive, with a traditional east-west axis and an altar at the eastern end symbolizing the resurrection of Christ.
Tall columns, huge pipe organ, and gorgeous stained-glass windows depict biblical metaphors and truths.
There are many small altars and statues on both sides of the church. Each altar represents a biblical figure or story, and Catholics who believe in religion know better than I do what the meaning or story of the statue.
The main altar inside the church (Altar), the gold-coloured decorations in the white marble church looks especially dazzling!

The cathedral is simply majestic both from outside and inside, but stepping into the interior was definitely a jaw-dropping and humbling experience. Enjoyed the experience and the moments of stillness within the church, and definitely a must visit if you're a fan of such buildings.

I do not really understand people giving this train station such a high reviews. From my perspective, it is a filthy, run-down train station (please see the pictures attached; my apology for the picture of a toilet, I intentionally did not took picture of the whole toilet showing how disgusting it was). Yes, the historical building is nice, however, maintenance and cleanliness is absolutely shocking.
Considering this is one of the busiest and the most famous train station in Melbourne, it is really a shame. The train station has been in renovation for at least 5 years, but I cannot see anything being done. Try to compare it to main train station in other cities, e.g. Singapore, Dubai, Tokyo, etc. It would like comparing Day and Night.

Originally built to house the Japanese department store Daimaru, Melbourne Central is now a bustling centre with the Melbourne Central Underground Metro station underneath it.
Stunning central void with an extraordinary, massive, cone shaped glass ceiling soaring over the old heritage listed Shot tower building.
The Centre is a popular tourist destination with a huge range of stores, theatres, cafes, restaurants, cinema complex etc.

Melbourne City a magnificent blend of culture, life, flavours, colours, which also can be found in many establishments that I have visited as well. It’s one of the best cities in the world imo.

Melbourne is a hive of activity but all different things to do and look at. Definitely must go vacation to anyone willing to go. I will be going back for years to come.

Located in the heart of the city, Melbourne Central is a convenient one-stop shop for dining and shopping.
Understand that the tower is where they used to drop the liquid which forms the ammunition for guns.
Really awesome that they preserve a piece of history by repurposing and really amazed how they can build a mall around the historical building.

We spent a fabulous 5 days trip in Melbourne from 6-11 January this year. Melbourne is truly is one of the most livable cities in the world. We had so much fun there. We loved the free green zone tram system. The foods were so good from corner kebabs stores or restaurants. We can’t wait to return for another visit ! I personally admire their historical buildings a lot 👍

Love the vibrant and colourful vibe.
Despite the late hour, the mall was full of people shopping for food or clothes.
A strategic shopping mall with Coles and access to the underground train station in the basement and countless fashion clothing and make-up shops.

Cool shopping centre with plenty open on a Friday night. Impressive to see the old shot factory still where it stood and still being utilised. Food options upstairs were limited, but okay.

I loved the building in the shopping centre,we just entered and I saw it and was in shock. They also have an over sized clock that plays a show every hour and chimes every fifteen minutes. But the shops I saw in the mall were not good shops. No Kmart, target or even big w in this massive store I don’t think I overly cared about any store in this shopping centre besides the Lego store.

Large shopping center with essentials.
Groceries, homeward, electronics, and clothing.
I loved the dome that was built to protect the heritage building inside.
It looked pretty cool.

Great place to shop & grab a feed! Even see a movie! The historic Shot Tower wasn't torn down & is a perfect "meeting" spot.

This place is almost overwhelming, there is so much to see and the scale of the art/architecture is something to behold.
Shopping, eating, and simply taking it all in, you can easily loose a few hours.

I am not a big fan of shopping malls but Melbourne Central is different because it incorporates the historic Shot Tower. It also has the added advantage of the railway station. There are plenty of shops and eateries.

this place has everything I would ever need. There is a vast area of food courts more than two levels. There are always kind staff working and they always help you if you need. There are many stores from sport to clothing to travel whatever you need, they have it. A great area to meet with friends and go shopping. there are also a few cars show and stands. overall a real great space and a great shopping mall.

Shopping paradise both for tourists and locals. Besides shopping, wide choices of cuisines are available from Food Outlets on the Upper Levels.
Be on the lookout for a new and popular Malaysian Fried Chicken Outlet which is HALAL, will be an added reason to drop by......🇲🇾 😋
Don't worry if you don't drive as the Melbourne Central Train Station is located at the Lower Level to serve your travelling needs 👍

Brighton Beach is a well-liked seaside spot with public restrooms and parking facilities, adorned by eye-catching Victorian bathing boxes. A must-visit destination in Melbourne, the foreshore of Brighton Beach offers an ideal backdrop for picture-perfect moments. The 82 unique bathing boxes make the location iconic and representative of the city's culture. Visitors should ensure they explore this attraction before sunset to capture breathtaking photos of themselves that showcase their personality while featuring a matching box as a backdrop.
Beautiful beach with lovely and colorful small houses along the way. It is recommended to enjoy the white sand and tidal waves with your beloved ones.

I remember during lockdowns I used to regularly walk down to the beach and back but hadn't visited since then but literally going past so stopped to take some photos. And it was perfect say, sunny winters day, flat, calm beautiful blue water. Lots of parking along beach but need Bayside parking permit or else have to pay. And of course there's the tourist trap of the beach boxes.

Very peaceful and beautiful beach, I love the decoration of each house. You can get a very nice view of both the beach and the city skyline when you walk all the way to the end of the beach. The neighbourhood is lovely and there are lots of nice places to eat nearby.

It’s a beautiful beach for photo-taking and sightseeing in Melbourne! Those colorful cabins on the beach were awesome and some of them had nice designs and paintings on the walls. The only thing is that there was a big construction site next to the beach, which was a bit annoying. Hopefully we can see the whole beach area again soon!

Good time camping in the afternoon. Sunny day.. !! Had a swim, some sun, played volleyball and slept in the camp. The life guards on duty were very friendly and helpful. Just make sure to park your car in the right spots. There are plenty of spots near the beach.

A lovely beach for families. They have a great Nippers program on a Friday night with a BBQ for fund raising.

It’s a great place to spend a good sunny day. We spent about 2-3 hours here which was amazing. We also had our lunch here when we had a minor disturbance from the birds but it’s no big deal. Kids loved the beach and wanted to spend more time in the water. There is a walking trail along the beach and a designated area for dogs to play. Thanks.

You can see the cute huts that Melbourne is famous for. There are a lot of tourists, so I don't recommend it if you want to relax. If you want to take photos, we recommend visiting during sunset.

A small but beautiful beach about around 45 minutes comfy train journey. And just 2 minutes walking distance from the train station. There are three tiny beaches here and what I saw was people were enjoying themselves with their family members, friends, etc. There was a small tourist market over there( local handmade goods are sold there)
One of the beaches has small colorful changing rooms are there which is one of the attractions of this beach.

We came in the hottest day on Dec 14. Beautiful beaches with unique decorated huts along the beach. You can take a nice picture la and the beach is clean and crowded. Lots of flies which I don’t really like. Nothing you can expect like food or drinks on sell there.. BYO!

Was not impressed. The travel to get here was not worth it. You travel almost an hour only to see mediocre houses painted with some random murals. The roads leading to this area is actually a lot better than the destination itself. In fact, the houses near this beach is much more impressive than the houses on this beach. Such a waste of time, it is better to go at Victoria National Museum or State Library if you want a better experience. Even better, just go straight to Great Ocean Road instead of wasting your time here.
Only the beach is its redeeming factor

Was there midday on a weekday, not too busy. There are currently constractions, but the beach is mostly accessable including the bath boxes, you can get there by train from Melbourne and a short walk from the two closest train station. Great view on the city skyline!

It is definitely worth a visit! Just bring a jacket when visiting last week of December as it can be chilly. Make sure to have a phone with nice camera for the IG worthy pictures.

The beach is nothing to shout about but the highlight were the small bathhouses. It's quite cool to see so many different colors and designs but given the number of tourists.
Not sure if it's worth the drive out to see them

This is the most unique beach I have ever seen in Australia. These colourful bathing boxes make the beach so special and beautiful. Many tourists and local people enjoyed taking photos in front of these boxers. Each of them has different color and different painting on it. This is must-go place if you go to visit Melbourne and Victoria.

When we visited this golden beach ,it is windy . A well maintained clean beach.
With colorful small houses as an added attraction in this beach.

The beach is rather underwhelming but has a nice view over the city and of course the colourful bathing houses/boxes

Visited Brighton Beach again on last Wednesday afternoon. No words to describe its beauty. Hope the parking renovation completes soon. It’s very annoying to park on the side streets.
