52m-high, climbable former fire lookout tree with views of the surrounding karri forest canopy.
So much fun, if you are alright with heights then your going to be able to climb the tree and see the view from up on the platform.
If heights are not your thing there are plenty of lovely walk trails and a spot to have a BBQ.
Bryce Taylor — Google review
Great fun, you do question your sanity as you get close to the top, but I can't resist the thrill and the view so always go back for more self punishment 😂
Sarah — Google review
Unfortunately the tree is closed to climbing at this time but it does look like it would be really cool when it’s open again. Still a pretty forest with lots of cool trees.
Taia Hara — Google review
I went there on a Saturday morning and decided to go up at a slow pace and stop as I needed. It was really good experience and really nice views from the top. It gets windy up there but doesn't feel unsafe at all from the platform.
I recommend proper shoes to feel comfy all the way.
Maud Cappelle — Google review
Magnificent tree once used as a fire watch. The tree was closed for maintenance when we arrived, but Parks allowed visitors to enter and visit the tree. Worth a look, only 3km from Pemberton.
Denise Brown — Google review
Great climbing adventure! I am happy that they kept it basic with metal pegs and some mesh rather than "upgrading" to a safe Gucci tourist climbing highway. As of the Q&A there have never been a fatality from climbing but two heard attacks after returning to ground.
Reik Winkel — Google review
Great to visit even though the tree is closed for re Pegging. Amazing sight
Peter Bailey — Google review
The Gloucester tree, was not open, but, the grandkids loved the adventure activities! Great fjn!
Janene — Google review
This was fun for kids. We arrived early Sunday morning and were the only ones there. Keep in mind you will need a Parks pass to enter . It was fun for us. Upper half is closed so you can't climb to the top, it's quite high, so it is at your own risk .
Ivanka Marincic — Google review
It is a lovely place to walk around even though cannot climb the tree. It is no longer safe to climb anymore if you talked to the park ranger instead of making judgment by self. There is a national park fee required. If you have the annual national park pass, then you are good to go like us. We got lots of information from the lady from the entrance.
MeeLian Rozing-Lee — Google review
It's a great iconic piece of history to see in Pemberton. The tree was used as a fire lookout tower.
You need to pay an entry fee into the National Park or use your annual WA Park pass.
The Gloucester tree is a difficult challenge to climb. One that is a test on fear of heights or fear of falling. 58m climb straight UP, having only steel rods to hold onto. Many choose NOT to climb it, but l did (I'm 52). View at the top is obstructed by the ever growing canopy of trees. But great to see.
The 3 walks around the area are good. I did 2, but l didn't do the 10km one.
Raelene G — Google review
Awesome experience climbing this giant. Quite dangerous for younger ones as the gap between the steps is wide enough to fall through. Wouldn’t recommend unless your physically fit and confident at heights. The experience and view are quite awesome though!
I'd say this is a must if you're in Pemberton.
The tram leaves from a lovely old station and takes a gentle ride through the forest to The Cacades, where you get 25 minutes to explore this pretty bit of nature. Obviously, you'd experience a lot more cascading water if you went before summer sets in.
The driver gives an excellent commentary all the way.
On the way back, it's more of an express ride, and just as much fun.
Highly recommended.
Carole Ash — Google review
If you’re planning to take a ride on the tram beware that it only runs twice a day at 10.30am and 2.00pm. Each ride takes 75 minutes. There isn’t much to see here other than the tram ride. A ticket office opens only during the time of departures and arrival of the tram. The store also sells some souvenirs and snacks.
Charles Soh — Google review
Was probably the best experience of our journey down south.
We did this in day 4 of our honeymoon and was an amazing experience.
The driver is what made it.
Great informative commentary with great sense of humour.
I wish the new owners all the best with the business 🙏. 🚂
Fergus Ologhlen — Google review
What a fantastic way to discover the area. The high bridges, the forest, kangaroos and the having fun at the cascade at the end.
Lovely family outing and great to support a local family business.
Way to go, team. Highly recommend.
I’d suggest booking online ahead of going and be there a bit earlier than departure to secure your seats on the train.
We will be back!
Emilie Perrot — Google review
Great service from driver - he provided info and asked questions with answers that can make you smile. We enjoyed the service. Approximately 75 mins for return trip including 25 mins for walking in the cascade. Beautiful scenery.
Have a visit, when you are in the area and if you like to hear history of tram use and timber, view scenery along with playing in the cascade's river. Support local business.
E T — Google review
This is an excellent activity to do whilst you are staying near Pemberton. The tram driver is great at giving loads of information along the way and very funny commentary. Would recommend this to anyone, kids will love it.
Tony Hawke — Google review
Reopened and restored by a passionate family. The trip isn't very long out and back but is very scenic, and the commentary is informative and humorous. Good opportunities to take photos and dip your feet in a cool forest river (October) at the Cascades. Definitely worth checking out
Caff H — Google review
A very pleasant and informative ride! Strongly recommended. We walked the Warren River loop in the morning and took the tram in the afternoon. We appreciated the smooth ride and getting to know the history of the tram and of the settlers who built the railway line.
Edmerich (Edmerich) — Google review
We highly recommend this tram ride, it's great for all ages.
It's a beautiful and informative ride through the bush.
Nathan Nicholls — Google review
My wife and I took our 5yr old for a very enjoyable tram ride,we all had a great time. The tram driver was very amusing and made it a very fun time.Highly recommend for all visitors. 🙂
Geoff Williamson — Google review
We had such a wonderful time on tram yesterday. Beautiful welcome by the team at the front desk, open fire to warm you up on a winters day, hot drinks provided whilst waiting for the tram, great souvenirs, really interesting commentary from the tram driver and fantastic journey through Pemberton and the amazing Karri trees.
Definitely recommend to both locals and tourists for a fun experience in the majestic south west forests.
Jon Swaithes — Google review
It was a historical ride experience for us, and the tour guide/driver was very instructive, telling stories about what we saw. The best part is going down to the cascades and seeing its beauty. Good family business that kept the history alive 🌟💕
tuesday Santiago — Google review
What a gorgeous way to view some of the local sights. The tram ride was lovely. The commentary from the hilarious driver was very entertaining and informative. A lovely way to get to the cascades. Highly recommended!
Elizabeth Purse — Google review
Lovely way to spend the afternoon. Our conductor was also the owner, who recently took over running the business with his young family. Very knowledgeable, and such a beautiful, charming spot!
Holly Matthews Way — Google review
A memorable experience that takes you back in time.. great for the kids (and us too). The Driver’s commentary was informative and entertaining. The journey was a little more than an hour with a 20min break at the “cascades” before heading back. A walk down from the platform at cascades to the stream below is a fun activity. The train takes you through dense forests and over 3 old bridges.. it gives you a glimpse of life back in the early 1900s.. the carriages are immaculate and clean. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. The ticket price might seem a bit high, but for the effort they put in and considering the maintenance of the tracks, tram, station, and overheads it’s definitely worth the experience. It’s a bit of a shame that tourism WA doesn’t do much to promote and support it.
Tan P — Google review
This was a lovely slow trip through the Karri Forest with commentary on the local history and area. The Cascades had flowing water and plenty of areas to climb over and explore. The tram was full with keen passengers and kids enjoying their ride. I would recommend this trip fr something a bit different.
Colleen Pickering — Google review
We had a great time on the tram. Nice to be surrounded by nature. Was a great activity to do with an older friend that isn’t able to walk much at all. Unfortunately there is a staircase/walk down to the cascades that she wasn’t able to do but we could all enjoy the tram ride. Conductor was great too.
We went on a Tuesday so wasn’t too busy, plenty of seats. We booked online the night before (tells you how maybe seats are left), you can pay online at booking or pay cash/eftpos on the day.
Charlotte L — Google review
What a great way to visit The Cascades! Ben, our driver/tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining, and the trip was through lovely scenery and forest. It's great to see Ben and his family reopening this attraction and we wish them all the best. Awesome trip and highly recommended! Thanks
Shirley Holland — Google review
So pleased we did this. A thoroughly enjoyable trip. Ben the Tram driver gives great commentary about the history of the tram, the forest, the timber mill and the town. A lovely 25 minute stop at the Cascades gives you time to explore a bit. Worth going left and right to explore.
Brigitte Cronan — Google review
What an awesome experience to end our Easter trip after exploring the local region. The family operated business were very professional and accommodating to all passengers. We were even able to take our family labradoodle. Highly recommend this experience and we would definitely do it again next time we visit. Added great memories to our adventures @campexplore4x4
Daniel Northcott — Google review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend the Pemberton Tramway! Had a blast riding it with my furry friend – they're dog-friendly! The driver was both entertaining and knowledgeable. Plus, meeting Lassie, the adorable station dog, was a highlight. Definitely worth the experience!
Boxing day. Doesn't get much better than this! Beautiful little beach. Super 4km walk. Kids loved it. Decent amount of parking at 2nd carpark.
sam cheung — Google review
Excellent picnic area for the family, even on a cold and rainy day the place is very busy. Walking track is awesome and bitumen seal. Toilet facility is clean and BBQ area is sheltered.
Andrew Nguyen — Google review
Stunning area, photos can’t show off how tall and grand the trees look. It’s a dirt track in but very well maintained and 2wd will have no issues. Area has plenty of paved parking along with a bonus of toilets and many picnic tables.
Laura K — Google review
Gorgeous hidden spot! Great amenities for a family lunch with large gazebos and bbq. Water is lovely and inviting, well worth spending the day here.
Tez Payne — Google review
A lovely location surrounded by greenery. Almost a 4-hour drive from Perth. Also, got options to make BBQ when travelling with friends and family.
Subhash Chandran — Google review
It was beautiful and quiet in the morning but definitely a great place for a swim. You can take your dog but they cannot go in the water and need to be on a leash.
Rhiannon Wild — Google review
Beautiful spot for a picnic, splash in the water, fish or bush walk with kids. Has toilets and BBQs.
Daphne — Google review
Great walk around Big Brook Dam. The path is paved (bitumen) the whole loop so is really accessible for all ages, families and anyone over mobility challenged. Lots of great birds and other natural creatures.
Glynn Davies — Google review
Nice scenery here. You can have a walk around the lake and also go to have a close look at the dam and walk across it. There is a small beach area for you to have a swim. Looks safe for kids. There are also some picnic benches around the grassed area. There is a public toilet here. But beware that it does not seem to have shower facilities.
Charles Soh — Google review
Great spot for a cool off, nice sandy beach. Lovely walk trail around the lake.
Roy Jones — Google review
Such a great walk around the lake. Lots of wildlife to see. Fully paved and flat path. Several enclosed lookout shelters and well signposted with historical information.
I climbed that tree after Gloucester tree and I found that one a bit more impressive. It was windy in the arvo so I stopped at the first platform since it was saying it was getting a bit tricky. Keep in mind there's more visitors at Gloucester tree than that can help.
Maud Cappelle — Google review
The tree ladder was under maintenance and not accessible for climbing. The two kilometres of gravel road from the main road to the entrance made me question my choices. I'll definitely add it to my wishlist for the next revisit, hoping the road will be easier to drive by then.
Rosa Tu — Google review
This is truly amazing, we highly recommend but if you don't like heights then it's definitely not for you, but still definitely worth a look and there's also the bush walk.
Nathan Nicholls — Google review
I actually can't believe that we were still allowed to climb the bicentennial tree. Such an incredible experience but definitely not for the faint of heart (or knee)! It surely can't be long before they shut this down for public climbing, if it's on your bucket list, get doen here and get up there.
EDIT 26/1/24 - As expected, they have closed access to the tree climb. We feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to climb the tree before they closed it. Still well worth the visit, the area is stunning, however you can no longer climb the bicentennial tree.
Becky Matthews — Google review
A must visit if you are in the area. Old school fun as you climb to the top for an amazing view. 😎
Jason Pearce — Google review
This was such an awesome thing to do. I climbed all the way to the top and the view was amazing. The rungs of the ladder are very secure and there is a steel net that surrounds you as you climb. There is no harnas or other form of safety measure. You must not be afraid of heights or have a health condition.
Anja Van De Gronde — Google review
Wow that was a big climb. It’s metal rods for the first two sections then the very top is platforms and ladders (a lot easier).
Please keep in mind that this climb is quite dangerous and if it’s windy, wet, or you’re not physically fit - don’t climb this thing. If none of that is the case though, it’s well worth the view!
Alan Matotek — Google review
Tallest treetop lookout in the world! Not available for climbing when we visited in Aug 2023. Flushing toilets available, nice and clean. A 10 min "stroll" trail (very overgrown) and a 4 hour walking trail available.
Yan — Google review
Good spot to forge fungi during rains. The climb over to the top of the tree was a but slippery so take caution 👍🏽
Jenifer Shariff — Google review
Appropriate footwear must be worn when attempting to climb, the adrenaline you’ll feel to reach the top is a good motivation to keep climbing just don’t look downwards it will make you nervous 😆😁
Jei Kah — Google review
Beautiful tree! Definitely a must-do!
Wouldn't recommend going up if you're scared if heights, as the security is at bare minimum. But you should still stop-by just to get a feel of how big those trees are!
The bicentennial tree is the tallest point of the three you can climb in the area, the tree is 65m tall and they build a lookout 10m on top of it, which totals to a 75m climb. There's an observation point about halfway through if you need a rest, or if you're happy not going any further.
Do make sure you stop by this pinkiest and happiest place when in Bridgetown! It's a place that will put a smile on your face and trust me, you will have a hard time choosing what and how many to buy 🤪 I also found a few candies that you can't find at Woolies or Coles. The lady owner is extremely helpful and friendly and even let me go behind her counter to take a picture from that angle. Love this place!
Y T — Google review
Friendly staff, good selection of lollies.
We visit this lolly shop every time we go back to bridge town.
Hannah — Google review
My friends and I went in to buy lollies and a man in a nice hat served us. It was lovely that he made so many great recommendations. Probably, it has been the best lolly shop visit of my life !
Ended up buying an immense variety and look forward to trying the ice cream !!
Kelsey Eldridge — Google review
The shop is a true delight with an amazing variety of lollies and chocolates for kids and indulgent parents alike! Damien and Rochelle make the place so much more special happy to help out always with a smile and make a point of engaging the kids making them feel like they're the only little ones in the world! Don't make the mistake of driving past without stopping in, the whole family will walk out smiling!

This place is the best for reliving childhood memories!! Great value and exceptional customer service 👏
Karen Jones — Google review
My family and I went in to buy lollies. But a man in a nice hat just stood there. It would be lovely if he could recommend us on what to buy,but didn't. Probably,it has been a long day for him. Ended up just buying ice cream.

Came across this little gem on our way back to perth. Such a beautiful little shop it felt like I was in willy Wonkas chocolate factory. Great selection of sweet treats. Definitely worth a stop!
Konni Starr — Google review
Always friendly staff here at every visit. Great selection of lollies in a lovely little shop. You will find old favourites as well as new. Lollies are not made on site. Hard to visit and walk out without a purchase.
This place is incredible. It has so many things to look at, you could honestly spend hours here! They have many unique gifts, there’s something for everyone. The gardens are lovely as well.
We always make sure to visit when we get chance to come to Bridgetown.
Definitely worth visiting!

People were also booking bus tickets here too.
We were well looked after

Very interesting information center. The staff were super brilliant and the contact super friendly. small museum attached to the center very interesting on the sight and the activity of yesteryear of this small town which has a lot of charm. I loved.

Nice place for kids and adults that like jigsaw puzzles. Nothing else to offer. Friendly staff.
Series of rocky waterfalls set in forest, reached by a trail, with views from a suspension bridge.
If you are in area worth to go and see walk around. $15 National Park Entry Fee. If you are staying at RAC you can walk up the falls after 15min walking track but have your water with you.
Coskun Ince — Google review
This is a nice walk; the first section is suitable to wheelchairs; I would recommend going down the stairs after the lookout - it's a shorter walk to the bridge. The bridge sways quite a bit even with just two people on it (so - if that isn't your idea of fun - consider skipping it). The cascade itself is interesting but not spectacular.
Stephen Peter — Google review
Well built path around the karri trees, a small waterfall and cascades. Suitable for all ages and abilities. The suspension bridge was fun for the kids. Would recommend a visit 👍🏾✅
Daphne — Google review
First, note that unless you have a National Parks Pass, there is an entry fee. But that aside, it's an easy walk on a bitumen path to the small falls and the small suspension bridge. Interesting to see that "love locks" have been fastened to the bridge.
A 20-30 minute walk on a dirt track brings you to the Walk Through Tree. We imagined a large tree with a space large enough to walk through it. It's a big tree but the hole looks carved out with a chainsaw which you access by a small ladder and walk through with a slight stoop. (Sad to see so many names carved into the trunk of the tree - many from 2021.) The track to the tree could be a difficult trip for those not used to bush walking - it is on a reasonable incline and can be slippery when wet.
The toilets at the Falls are bush drop toilets. This may stress out some delicate souls.
All up, a pleasant enough experience and worth a few hours if in the area.
Colin Norris — Google review
Absolutely beautiful and very peaceful forest walk. This is a wonder land, a fairytale place. Best time to see the waterfall, raining season, June, July, August.
Naylay Karen Poe — Google review
Fantastic little diversion just out of Pemberton. Falls were flowing even in the middle of summer. Lots of parking and well maintained toilets. $17 day pass goes towards supporting this and other parks.
Michael English — Google review
Cool suspension bridge at the base of the falls. Relatively easy access for all. A shame about the fees and why do we need 3 metre wide bitumen walking paths. It is a national park. That environmental damage is what out fees are paying for. I’d rather the hydrocarbon emissions stay in the ground. With one hand talking climate change and the other being environmental vandals.
Matt B — Google review
Awesome nature walk for the whole family. Expect the walk to Karri Valley with kids to be longer and especially after wet weather. Enjoy a nice coffee or pint at the end, even a playground for the kids at Karri Valley. Park entry $12 for a car and $8 for concession. Don't forget your water bottles, snacks and good walking shoes.
Skeeter Willow — Google review
Another great area to explore, especially with kids.
#### Admission Fee Applies $15 or $8 per car with or without concession
Very nice walkway leads to the hanging bridge 🌉, Crossing of the bridge was a great experience with cinematic feelings.
Nelufar Yasmin — Google review
Beautifull, but if you just visit the falls, it may not be worth the money or the drive. Maybe when it rained a lot it will be amazing. We took the trail to the big walk through tree. If you do both it is worth it.
Cita Herbst — Google review
Lots of water at present. Great spot to visit. Just a hint when you get to a choice of paths take the steps down, handrail in place then you do the loop clock wise and walk back on the graded path. A lot easier than walking steeper steps up. The suspension bridge is an interesting walk.
Christine Barnes — Google review
Fantastic hike for families. We went with our 5 and 8 year Olds and took our time. They did the full 4.6km and slept well that night.
Donna — Google review
Nice little waterfall. The suspension bridge was a nice little extra. Better signage for mobility needs wouldn't go astray. There was a slopped walk way the lead to a lookout over the falls thats more suited to those with some mobility issues.
Bec Neil — Google review
Beedelup Falls is the perfect place for a fun and exciting day out! The walk itself isn’t too bad, about 30 mins each way and mildly flat. There’s so many hidden gems on this walk it’s hard to lair them all! Make sure you check out the swinging bridge at the bottom of the falls! And if your staying at the resort, jump in a kayak and paddle up to the bottom of the falls where you can swim in the shallow waters in private!
remi chisholm — Google review
Short walk from car park, then options to continue around the lake to the walk through tree. Falls spring fed but best in winter. Walk to Karri lodge for lunch and a beer! Excellent forest and bird life. Recommend.
Diane Blair — Google review
It is worth the time and effort to visit. Off course the time of year reflects the amount of water coming down over the falls. You do need to pay for a park pass $15 and place it on your car window. Good parking and walking path to the Falls. It is a short loop walk and it is well sign posted.
Graeme Stickland — Google review
Amazing walk trail around the falls, well maintained. Lots of wildflowers to view! About 300m each way but not flat so wouldn’t recommend carrying a toddler. :)

Fantastic family run business. Hugh quality products matching traditional European cheese brands. All locally produced. Friendly staff. Will come back next time to stay in a Cottage
Reik Winkel — Google review
The grounds were lovely and welcoming. There was a showroom with enticing local products, but the hero was the cheeses. Tastings were available, and staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
Frank Liz Yates — Google review
A very nice surprise. Small but lovely. Lots of cheeses to try and they were just shearing the sheep which was entertaining. We did take quite a few cheeses with us as they tasted great. If you see the sign on your way past definitely take 20 minutes to visit this place.
Joeri Tuyn — Google review
Whenever we pass by we stop in for a cheese treat, taking 2 or 3 varieties with us. The people there are always helpful and friendly, and there is always something welcoming about the surroundings. If they had a coffee machine, and tables to sit at, it would be perfect.
Colin Norris — Google review
Absolutely loved it here, worth the ride and cheese. Lovely staff and facilities 😍 Definitely will visit every time going south.
Lolina Tupua — Google review
Amazing cheeses! We did a free tasting of numerous cheeses; I think we tasted 8 - cow, sheep, soft and hard cheeses (gold coin donation appreciated). Beautiful jams, chutneys & cured meats available to purchase too. Highly recommend 👌
Robyn Heydenrych — Google review
Lovely family farm marking their own cheeses from scratch - sampled them all and bought a selection and had a delightful cheese and cracker platter that evening. Such friendly and welcoming people as well - absolutely have to stop in on your way past!
Cindy Randall — Google review
A beautiful place to stay! Cute farmyard cottage and views of the farm from every window. So still and peaceful, with little birds in the bushes and trees.
The kids loved seeing all the animals on the farm.
The fire pit is great for an evening around the fire. The farm shop has some great produce both from the farm and afar.
Christi Lou — Google review
Had no idea we’d be able to try the best cheese on the way somewhere. Wonderful to know about sheep cheese and how great it tastes when I didn’t even know people eat sheep milk. The blue cheese wasn’t too smelly but tasted amazing. Highly recommend.
Susie Seo — Google review
Fabulous place with beautiful produce. Yes it is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Support small country businesses. The lady who served us was very helpful and friendly.
C MG — Google review
Hidden gem. Beautiful view and surroundings. One of the best cheese, of course because of its quality you have to pay a little more, but worth it. Dogs not allowed, must stay in vehicle.
Rajasharma Richardsamy — Google review
We arrived just before 3pm to taste the excellent cheeses, (some sheep’s milk, some cows milk), and then stayed to watch the sheep milking. The staff were all very friendly and we enjoyed learning about the process. Even Oliver the Clydesdale came up for a pat. There are some interesting historical photos in the old dairy too
What a great little swimming hole. Stayed a night in my camper van and it was just us and two other groups. So peaceful in the morning, with the birds chirping in the air. The water is kinda murky and there was some sort of oil pollution lingering but Workmans Pool isn't too far away and the water there is pristine and is hidden away from the campsites, surrounded by trees. I love this little place tucked away. It's truly a hidden gem.
Azarelle Naidu — Google review
Excellent day use area, pretty pool with nice shelter, seats and tables. Nearby campsite is pretty useless, better option at Workman's Pool just down the road.
Marc Glasby (wanowandthen com) — Google review
A lovely place to cool down on a warm day. Easy drive for 2WD vehicles. Parking is limited, so be mindful of busy / holiday weekends. Well built pool deck and plenty of shaded structures. Barbeques and tables.
Vaughan Surch — Google review
Pretty!
We were told "It's just a pool" (skip it) but I'm so glad we didn't listen!
Only detraction was the quality of those toilets - I won't go into detail but people need to look after them better! Going in the bush is preferable to the scene in the toilets 😑
The lake, bridge and waterful are gorgeous, and the bench is a perfect little spot to have a picnic.
Veronica Lowe — Google review
A lovely area for either a day trip or over night camping trip.
The camping area is located above the pool, so there is a short walk up the hill.
Their are toilets, bins, disability parking, fire bbqs and park benches.
The natural swimming pool is beautiful and very inviting. There are several stairs in and out of the pool, and a jumping area off of the end of the deck.
No dogs aloud 😕
Camping fees apply.

It was a hot weekend at Nannup and a swim each day at Barrabup pool was the icing on the cake . Beautiful water temperature , surrounded by trees and set up nicely for good access to river. Highly recommended.

Pool looks awesome, but cold even in April. The campground is a few hundred metres away up the hill. There are about six campsites and it has very friendly possums. It it a great place to base yourself for walking or riding the Old Timberline Trail

Great spot for a swim or hike! For a weekend in December, it was very quiet, just a couple of families around.

Did not go in. I just watched the young boys jumping in and enjoying themselves.
It is in a lovely location, a pure sun trap

Gorgeous and quiet camping spot, table and fire pit for every camping spot. Beware of the possums after sunset, a gang of 5 surrounded our dinner table and tried to steal our trash bag!

Reached this place as the light was failing, but my goodness - what a beautiful and serene pool. Would I want to go for a swim here? Probably not as it was July and it was freezing enough as it was. Plus, I think there's a dead snake floating over there. Nonetheless, I can spend hours here even though I'd skip the dip.

Wonderful location. The pool is stunning (although I'm not sure I would want to swim in it) and the wildlife amazing. The campsite is compact with good bush toilets. Just be mindful that none of the spots are level. Made it a little less comfortable.

Camping (tent/ swag sites close by)(caravan camping approx 20min walk), limited number of sites. Long drop toilets, shelter, table/benches, very well kept facilities. Nice area does get busy. Plenty of wildlife/birds, possums extremely tame and inquisitive.
39m-high lighthouse at continental Australia's most south westerly point, with a visitor centre.
Amazing place. You should definitely visit. When we went it was going under major renovations. So please call or confirm with them before you go there to not end up disappointed. Breath taking views. Ample parking. Kids can visit the museum also. Very nice short movie to watch in the museum.

Lovely spot and able to see how the lighthouse staff lived.
Museum very interesting and interactive.
Staff very pleasant.
Take a jumper, jacket and a hat. I suspect the weather is always pretty windy and changeable.

A must visit historic light house at the south western tip of Margaret river at Albany. Do visit the museum next door to the cafe to get to know about the history of the place. The views are spectacular, if weather permits you can see the two oceans meet.

A piece of history is worth the trip to see. The story of all the light keepers and the cottages built there is very interesting. Beautiful coastal views. It is best to get there early for a carport, though.

Amazing history, the new museum was special giving insight into how the light house keepers lived. Be sure to drop in and visit this historic area

Good place to see the lighthouse where two oceans (Indian & Southern or Atlantic) meet. Quite a historical site and sight! Make sure to bring along something warm if you are wary of strong cold winds! Pay $20 to understand the history and climb up the lighthouse- it's worth the trip!

Tallest lighthouse in mainland Australia at 39m and stands on the meeting point between two oceans. If you’re all the way down here it’d be silly not to include this in your itinerary as there isn’t much else in Augusta anyways.
Tours are $21 for adults and run every 30min or so. There’s the option to get onto the grounds for $7.50 but only the full tour will allow you to enter the lighthouse and it’s definitely worth it. Just make sure you have some warm clothes/a windbreaker cause the winds can get pretty intense.

A wonderful place to chill out. However there are lots of flies around this place. We couldn't open our mouth even to talk. We had to rush back in a short period of time from the location.

Great views from lighthouse compound. Yes, you have to pay to go up to the lighthouse and visit the lighthouse keepers building. You need to pay more for the guided tour inside the lighthouse itself. We opted for just the lighthouse compound and were happy with the views.

Visit worth as well during renovation, you get discount on fares as well
Well arranged exhibition with people, technology, historical events, and more using original exhibits and interactive screens and videos. Our kids really love the lens animation where you pick the different lenses to focus the beam and see the advantage of the fresnel lens. Exhibits with kerosine lamp,Halogene lamp and LED lamp.

We just loved the place. It's a short-walk from entrance to light house. The walk was so enjoyable.
You have both ticketing option With Lighthouse entry or without lighthouse entry, fees are different. That's good.
The walk to light house was so enjoyable. Lightkeeper's house to know more about the history and amazed with collections (we didn't have time to spend more but make sure you do).
Most importantly, the viewing platform was simply the best of all.

The place where the Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean. This is the most south western point in the Australian continent. The tour of the lighthouse is well worth taking as it provides spectacular views over the ocean and coastline. A guide takes you on the tour and provides a very comprehensive overview of how the lighthouse has operated over its lifetime including up to the present day. However, be prepared to walk up and down 176 steps. Cost of the tour is $21 for adults.

Can enter and enjoy a variety of food while sitting looking out protected from the weather by huge glass panels. Dress warmly.
Food looked ok. Cappuccino was nice. Prices seamed reasonable.
A large range of souvenirs can be purchased. Admission costs beyond this point required. See photos for ticket prices.

Meeting of two oceans - Indian and Southern - beautiful location for a stunning lighthouse. Loved visiting here and going through the keeper's cottage. The scones are superior to any previously enjoyed.

Easy to find, ample parking. Very reasonable fees for entry and for the lighthouse tour. The cafe does a stellar job, with slightly limited operation. Shoutout to the male staff member who sold us tickets today. Pretty sure I talked to the same gentleman when I finished the Cape to Cape. He was friendly, helpful, and informative. The views are spectacular and there is so much history to read about. Worth a stop every time you are in the area

An interesting historical site located where the Southern and Indian oceans meet. It costs to enter the area, but you can visit the small museum and take a tour of the lighthouse. A beautiful spot, but be prepared for high winds most days.

Amazing feeling we had after the visit of cape leeuwin lighthouse.
We took the guided tour of the light house, and it was well worth it. Museum turned Keeper's house also worth to look at for a while.
We climbed to the point right below the light and went out onto the veranda or deck. The wind was so strong that I had to hold my mobile really firmly. The intensity was incredible. It was a wonderful tour that deserves to be experienced.

Excellent tour of the light house, with an added bonus of a wonder around the grounds as well as, a sticky beak through the light house keeps house, which is now museum.
We took the option of the guided tour of the light house and it was well worth it, being in one of the tallest light house in Australia and seeing the thickness of the walls, the number of stairs to the top, plus getting an understanding of the effort to build and support it over the years was great.
We climbed to the just below the light and went out on the veranda or deck & the wind was strong enough, to even take a young lady out of Prince Andrew’s grasp, the force was amazing & it was only a mild day.
It would be hard to believe somebody going out there in a gale.
Overall it was a wonder tour, well worth doing.

Our weekend farm trip. Great place for both adults and kids. We stayed at a unit big enough to accommodate 4-5 ppl. Our unit, facing the big field, though understandably 'old' (it's a farm house so we don't expect a hotel-like room), is clean, well equipped with big fridge and nice small kitchen. That's important. It's clean and well maintained and everything works well. You can choose to cook here or eat out as it's located not far from the town. Staying in the farm, the whole family get to play with the animal or visit the farm animal for free. Small kids will definitely love this place too as it has a very good playground beside the cabin where they can climb and run freely. Accommodation is as expected for a farm house, location is good, this farm is with animals of course, that kids can play with. So it deserves a 5-star. It serves its purposes.

Sunflower farm is an awesome place to visit for those with kids. The place is well kept for a farm, and the animals are friendly. The joey, sheep and cow/goat calf pens are open to public and the kids get to interact directly with them.
Try to time your visit with some of the feeds, as it adds to the experience for the kids. Managed to catch the joey feeds and bottle fed and carried a joey.
There are other animals around the farm to feed, who are more than happy to gobble up the food in the baskets that are made available to visitors.
Emu, ostrich, hog, horses, cows, goats, alpaca/llama, chickens/peasants are part of their stable of animals.
Song Loo Ang — Google review
We had a really nice time. Great outing for the kids.
Only thing missing is maybe a map of where the animals are, so you can go straight to the animals you want to see (excited toddlers mainly asking to see ducks).

We thought it would be a nice family activity during our holidays, but we left feeling sad after seeing the animals. Some appeared lonely, and there was an excess of food; some animals seemed overfed while others appeared to be hungry. I can't recommend visiting there.

Recently stayed here in the North chalet with my family, the chalet could do with a little a TLC.
Fly screens require replacing as the bugs just come through at night, furniture is a bit outdated and rundown too. Bathroom was fine. Overall it is not very inviting.
No aircon available in this chalet which it could do with in summer, as there is no airflow and when you open the windows and the bugs just come straight in. Also my niece had a cockroach in her bed so it was a bit off putting. My sister was ready to pack up the first night, however I convinced her to look past it and just enjoy the weekend around Margaret River.
The animal farm we cannot fault it was great to go out and see the animals within our own time and to not to be surrounded by outside guests. Our kids loved the animals and the view was good from the chalet too.
If a little bit more effort was put into accommodation it would be a great staycation for a lot of Perth people.
Just a little let down with the accommodation.
Note - Also cleaning the dangling webs off the roof would go along way too and get rid of the portable water dispenser as the water looks green. As this gives me the impression it's not cleaned thoroughly after each stay.
Cheers

Really enjoyed our outing here. Crushed gravel walkways and fenced off animal enclosures made walking thru the farm a joy.
Entrance fee and feed bucket separate but well worth it...the animals loved the food provided in the feed buckets.
Friendly animals who love being petted and very accommodating owners.
Went in the morning (you can expect to spend a few hours here) and came back in the afternoon to bottle feed the babies...just keep your wristbands and you won't have to pay entrance fees again.
2 toilets on-site and an outdoor sink to wash your hands.
Well enjoyed day and worth a visit.

Animals are in such poor condition, the horses were wind sucking which is a behavioural issue usually caused by Boredom, the long billed corellas beak is over grown and can’t close its mouth, the vines pigs enclosures where completely soiled and the kangaroos shelter had no bedding only hard rocks to sleep on.
Would be a great place if their animals weren’t miss-treated

Sunflower farm is a great little farm. You can buy a bucket of food to go around and feed all the adult animals. They have a variety of animals including a deer which I had never seen before! One of the alpacas did spit at my boyfriend but I guess that's just what they do. You have the opportunity to play with the baby animals also which was my favourite part!

An Animal Lover's Paradise in WA! I've visited this farm twice and it's a huge hit with my kids. From kangaroos and horses to highland cows and ostriches, the variety of animals is simply amazing. Love the option to purchase a food bucket; the handy instructions on the fences make feeding them a breeze. Don't miss the milk-feeding sessions for baby sheep and cows! With ample parking and easy walking paths, this farm offers a delightful experience for the whole family. Highly recommend for a memorable day out.

We loved our morning here. The animals look well cared for and the staff were friendly. Hold a chick or Guinea pig, touch some baby animals, and feed some friendly creatures. Make sure you bring your hat as some of it is out in the sun. 6 & 1 year old thought it was great. We easily spent 1.5 hrs here

Really great for kids/toddlers, lots of animals to see and interact with. Not far at all from Margaret River centre (10 min or less) and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, showing us new animals. Bonus that they have some Simmos icecream there in the shop!

Was so amazing at this animal farm being able to have the hands on opportunity to pat and cuddle the animals! The staff are so friendly and the animas are so cute, we even got to help out with the bottle feeding of baby joeys, cows, lambs and goats! Was so adorable.
This animal farm was also very cost friendly.

What a magical place! We all had such a wonderful time with all the animals. They have plenty of space to enjoy their life. highly recommend to everyone. It was a fantastic experience!
Rebecaa Foster — Google review
We enjoyed our time at the animal farm. My daughter had an absolute ball! Make sure to pack sunscreen and a wide brim hat, as the sun really beats down on you while you’re walking around from pen to pen. Only criticism about the park is one of the kangaroo joeys seemed quite stressed at one point and couldn’t access its pouch to take some time out from all the attention. If I could make one suggestion to the keepers is that the pouches are suspended on a hook in an area maybe designated so they can climb into them when they need to and take some time out. Otherwise it was a lovely family experience.
Amy Foster — Google review
It's not a hotel, it's for children to come and pet animals and feed animals.
Pretty decently sized and sufficient animals. Not much by way of guidance. The bigger animals further back are hungrier if you're looking for something to feed.
Could do with definitely better facilities like proper washrooms, more seating and rest areas. I mean come on it's not free entry and you're obviously catering to kids and families. Sheesh.
Little off the ways to Busselton town, which is where the nearest food is.

Such a great place to take the kids. Our girls (4 & 6) loved feeding the animals and were there for the 10am feed of the babies so got to feed them some milk.

Parents with kids and teens (age 10, 16, 18) must come. They love it very much. Saw many younger children also enjoyed it. Suggest to come early in the morning like 9am. Animals are very hungry and will be very interactive with children.

Legitimate animal neglect. Only the most basic of needs met. Mice running all over. Caged chickens with overgrown nails due inabality to forage and scratch. infested with stick fast fleas.
Single, lonely animals.
Enclosures are to small in many situations.
I'd warrant a vet has not been through in a long time.
Not a great place for true lovers of animals.
Left feeling sad.
Audrey Ziere — Google review
Lots of really cute animals and some baby animals. Just a bit disappointed with the facilities, a little bit of green grass in a shady spot would have been good. Very dry and dusty. But great for kids and would recommend you go in spring, autumn or early winter not summer.
Rocco Guzzomi — Google review
Did a tour through here, was enjoyable seeing and petting a lot of the animals you wouldn't see very often.
Would recommend bringing plenty of sunscreen since you'll be out in the sun for most of the time as there's not too much shade, but they do have umbrellas at the front to help.
Keegan Hall — Google review
For a place that charges 4yr old the same price as an adult, you'd at least think they would have toilet facilities other than a porta loo available on a 40C that is sitting in full sun. Also don't expect to find the playground that you see in the pictures. Its a few old plastic type toddler play pieces.... also in the sun. I honestly walked around feeling disgusted in myself for supporting a company that cages animals. 2 absolutely stunning blue & yellow Macaws in a tiny cage with no trees, only a couple of thick branches for them to play on and 85% of the metal cage in full sun. The bucket of feed we paid for was old stale bread and a soggy old piece of what I'm guessing was lettuce or possibly cabbage. Sunflower Animal Farm needs to spend more of the profits on the animals enclosure and ensure the animals are happy & healthy, as from the outside they look far from it!!

Tuart Forest National Park is a vast natural reserve that boasts of unique Tuart trees growing on coastal limestone. It features various hiking trails and stretches along the coastline, with Ludlow North Road to the west and Bussell Highway to the east. The area around this park is filled with beautiful scenery, and visitors can enjoy a tourist drive leading to the old mill town of Ludlow by following Ludlow Road. However, littering remains an issue in this natural haven despite its rich history.
Beautiful National Park. Huge Tuart Trees. One of a kind in the world. A number of Tuart forests stretch along this part.of the coast line. One of a series of regional tourist caves with guided tours of several underground chambers.
I visited both the Mammoth Cave and Jewel Caves today.
I liked that the Jewel Caves had a guide to take you through this amazing natural beauty. Mammoth is a self guided tour using a headset.
A tour guide allows us to ask questions as we go, and l always like to see how engaged they are in what they are teaching us.
Tom, our guide, was truly professional and hilarious at the same time. Great tour through the Cave.
What a fascinating story on the discovery of the Cave and how the environment (global warming) has affected the Cave in such a short time. We even saw the skeletal remains of a possum (see photo).
The walk is via internal stairs and pathways, both up and down over 3 levels.
I highly recommend seeing this Cave and any of the others in the Margaret River region.

Absolutely stunning! Fully guided tour with very knowledgeable guide. The formations in the cave are remarkable, as is the story of its discovery. 300 steps down with viewing platforms spread along the way. A must see if you're in the Margaret River area. A little easier to negotiate than the Ngilgi Cave.

Jewel Cave is perfectly named, filled with beautiful forms. We enjoyed having Ava as our tour guide. She shared her extensive knowledge and answered many and varied questions. There's quite a few stairs in this cave, but never pressure to hurry. Some sections are steep, but the treads and hand rails are very secure. The cafe is a great spot for coffee or lunch. Jewel Cave is well worth a visit on your exploration of the Margaret River region.

This is an experience not to be missed. First time in a cave and I would highly recommend a guided tour (such as this) for the first time. Truely a one of a kind experience getting to easily walk around one of the biggest caves I have ever seen with these kinds of formations. We booked tickets online, the website has them in groups of 30. Check in was easy, told to wait in the cafe area. As we were waiting people came up and bought tickets on arrival for the tour at the same time as ours. Our group was over 40 people and it ruined the experience. The tour guide was good but we had to wait for everyone to walk up and down and thru the areas. The platforms where the guide stopped to explain things or for show were packed so it was challenging to get photos, hear the guide, etc. it's very reasonably priced which probably explains it popularity.

We came across the berry farm cafe whilst quickly looking for a place to go for lunch, and we are very happy we did. I highly recommend coming by here, they have great options and it’s such a cozy place, great for the kids as well.
My partner also surprised me with some sticky date pudding which came with hot caramel sauce, ice cream and custard which was divine. The awesome girls at the cafe also kindly surprised me with a birthday song along with it. We will definitely be back!

Just get the vegetarian platter for 2. Although it will easily feed 3.
This is one of the best platters I've ever had, and we've had the veg platter at The Lake House in Denmark.. Which is amazing, but this beats it!
Great beer selection too, gotta support local breweries and they do that here!
Bird life is pretty good,
Although I spotted a child throwing chips at the birds.... Please don't do that as it actually harms them.

Lovely place!! We took a 2, 3 and 4 year old at around 10am in January and it was perfect for them as there was a shaded playground. The scones and jam were to die for! Lovely staff. Will definitely be back!

Delightful place to visit. The boysenberry pie was absolutely 100% delicious and will be back for more! The birds are everywhere and love helping you finish your sugary delight. Great kids playgrounds to keep the little and big kids busy whilst mum and dad smash the treats! Add this place into your itinerary

I like the venue because Nice atmosphere and lots of birds in the cafe. It was my first time to order a pancake. I’m disappointed it. I can tell you guys use a microwave to heat it up. I was traveling to the pancakes from home … better make fresh… It was lots of berries I like the point. Thank you

Cottage Cafe with nice environment and friendly crews, the only down side is limited choice for non beef eaters. Other than that, all are good. It’s a berry farm, so you can get nice desserts with fresh jam, and you can always buy back fresh jam at shop nearby after meal.

Great place to take the family for an afternoon relaxation and enjoy some scones with jam and cream. The kids have a nice play ground to burn off some energy. For a small fee, you can buy some animal feed to feed the farm animals.

Cool place .. 3 nice playgrounds for the kids to play on. The wood playground down the bottom could do with some shade, and the flying fox on the middle playground needed repairs, but apart from that, all good and the kids loved it there. Being able to see the animals was good fun, but the kids really wanted to get amongst it a bit more (petting/feeding/other perhaps?).
The food was ok, but it was the playground (for us) that made it worthwhile.

Best birthday lunch ever! The pasta in the kids meal were cooked perfectly! (tried myself! we're Italians🤣). I went for the Chorizo plate and it was amazing. Fresh bread baked in-house and delicious wine. Awesome atmosphere and kids friendly. There's a playground at the back.

This place has nice outdoor areas, at the front and back. We chose the back area because it’s bigger and lots of birds were there. From the counter, I can feel this place is very environmentally friendly. Bird bath and feeder are there, and little blue wrens and honeyeaters were plenty around. The staff are very friendly and showed us if you put sugar on your palm, all these honeyeaters will eat from your hand.
Had scone and their burger. Scone was very nice, but jam was quite strong so don’t use too much of it. Love that they are generous with the cream. The burger was amazing. Not only it has a lot of fillings, they are looking colourful and pretty! The taste was well balanced with the sweetness of the sauce. Very impressed overall. But we realised we didnt even see any berry plant or maybe we didnt look hard enough.

Great set up with the shop and cafe seperated. Several decent nature playgrounds too.
Scones where nice and warm with fresh jam and thick cream.
Heaps of wrens flying around which add more to the character.

I came to The Berry Farm last year but didn't get a chance to come to the Cottage Cafe.
This time I made sure I went in and I had their burger.
It would have to be the best burger I've had in Australia.
The price is reasonable for the best burger you'll eat!
The Berry Farm Beef Burger was $28
It had Homestyle beef patty topped with swiss cheese, caramelised onion, Berry Farm Zucchini Pickles & Beetroot Relish, with fresh tomato & lettuce on a warm potato bun served with hand cut potato wedges & Berry Farm Sweet Chilli & Tomato Sauce and you can order (GFO/DFO)
On the next table the birds even ate the desert scraps, which were amazing as well!

Had amazing buttermilk pancakes & berry compote. Staff were so friendly & even took photos of my dog for their Inst page. Was very impressed with the shop ladies who went & sourced figs for us. Had a lovely time.

The beef and wine pie was beautiful, cute birds dashing around outside, good variety of sparking fruit wines to taste and jams and stuff. We brought the ginger fruit wine and their fresh figs and avocados. Great place to visit.

Such a nice place, there is a shop. A kids play area, things to see and a walk to feed the chickens. Top tip. If you decide to eat, sit at table 17!

Lovely spot to sit outside and watch the birds, food while not cheap is of excellent quality.
Service was friendly and quick.

I See a lot Of reviews disappointed with the atmosphere based on the wether. Personally, I’ve never had any problems no matter the weather. People talk about how the ideal weather is summer but I disagree, I enjoyed the Berry pies thoroughly during the winter.
I had the pancakes just today and they have a delicious berry compote and ice-cream. However the pancakes don’t exactly taste like buttermilk pancakes, although still enjoyable. They didn’t seem fresh, but I wasn’t fussed by that, but I think a good crusty buttermilk pancake could enhance it so much more. The pie is perfect though. Good crust and it’s very hot, but that’s how it should be.
People complain about the flies, personally didn’t have a problem, and I don’t think that’s the venues fault.
The scones are traditional and great, good jam, personally not a fan of the strawberry chunks but I know it’s intentional, I’m just funny with textures. Gift shop is great.
Burger was DELICIOUS, my brother says. Best burger he’s ever had, he’s a fussy eater and ate absolutely everything in that burger.
Service could be a tad better, but the food is what I prioritise if I’m ever recommending a place to someone.
Always looking forward to berry farm when I’m down in Margaret river. Never disappoints

my partner and I have been here numerous times over the last 5 years and it has always been such a relaxing place with quality food! I highly recommend the sausage rolls, authentic and hand made 😍 the honeyeater birds get very up close and personal with you if you happen to order sweet things! this one that I was lucky enough to catch a video of really loved the chilli jam (it's my favourite at the Berry Farm too, I had to buy some to take home!) they are also famous for their fairy blue wrens, a little more elusive but you may get to see them up close too!
today the lady in the Berry Farm souvenir shop let me hold Bella the baby kangaroo, her fur was so soft!!! it made my day 🥹🥹

Many flies during this season, good to have swoosh swoosh device to keep flies away from dining table. Food was okay, playgrounds are good for “distracting” kids while adults can enjoy their meals.
Hamelin Bay, located on the southwest coast of Western Australia between Cape Leeuwin and Cape Naturaliste, is a bay and locality named after French explorer Jacques Félix Emmanuel Hamelin. The area was discovered by Hamelin in approximately 1801. It lies south of Cape Freycinet and boasts beautiful beaches that are rarely crowded with stunning scenery.
Busselton Jetty is a renowned tourist spot featuring a 1.8 km wooden pier that houses an underwater observatory, interpretive center, and museum. It is highly recommended to check the timings beforehand to avoid long wait times as it can get quite crowded. The place offers a lively atmosphere with scenic views and requires visitors to wear sunscreen and bring their own water bottle during summers.
Beautiful scenery and lively atmosphere. It's was the Easter holidays so we missed out on getting the train from the jetty so we walked down to the other, we didn't realise how long the walk actually was but still enjoyed it. The Underwater Observatory was beautiful to see as well.
Zhia Soo — Google review
The jetty is 1.845 km long and makes for a fabulous walk out to the end and small aquarium. The views are magic as you walk through people fishing. You can take a small train if you like though we preferred the walk. The jetty is in spotless condition. Make sure you bring a sun hat. Cost to walk was only $4, a great investment.

Always love a visit to Busselton Jetty. It's just such a peaceful and relaxing spot especially on non school holiday periods. The foreshore has had quite a refresh with the new playground and skate park now and new brewery on the waterfront. You can walk to end of the jetty to visit the underwater observatory or take the train in. Tickets apply. Highly recommend a visit with the family ✨️

We were so excited about this experience because of the photos we had seen. The train ride was very slow, the guided tour at the observatory was well led but with just a few windows to view from there was really not a lot to see other than where the coral had attached itself. We spent about 5 minutes of the 30 minute free time taking a little look around about about 25 minutes waiting at the top for the train to return. Was 2 hours I wish i had back in all honesty.
Ryan Reid — Google review
Cool spot but wouldn’t say it’s something you have to see in WA. Just did the walking tour since it takes just a few minutes longer than the train but the train did look very cute & fun. It’s one of only 6 natural aquariums in the world which is really cool but when I went there weren’t many fish to see. Wish I had a bit longer in the actual observatory. Overall really good experience but just wouldn’t put it at the top of my list.

Good place to visit with kids, for swimming, diving, snorkeling and fishing. There is something to do for everyone. We visited on a sunday and the train was booked out for the next 2hours when we arrived. It's possible to walk on it but if you want to experience the train better Book in advance. The walk is about 20min one way. Better put sunscreen on and have a water bottle with you.

This is an absolute must try experience. You can bring your whole family to this place. You must check times before you go there otherwise you will have to wait there for hours for your turn. For example you might have to go at 2 pm for the last show. Call or check online so that you dont waste any time. Wear a hat and sunscreen in summer. Bring your own water bottle .
G Singh — Google review
Booked the train trip, was great to learn about the history of the jetty as told via the commentary. Only had 8 minutes to spare at the end of the jetty before having to jump back on for return trip. Would have liked a little more time to experience the top end. Very enjoyable otherwise 😌
Jacky MALDEN — Google review
I would have loved to go on the walk. But the kids were dead set on the train. It was an hour round trip with plenty of time at the end of the jetty for photos.
The train has blinds for if the weather isn't pleasant. Luckily that day was the best of our trip! The train is solar powered and has road wheels for off track 😁
I'm glad we did this and would do it again whej we come back 🤞
Simon Green — Google review
Well worth the visit if you're in town! The train ride is good if you have kids, but otherwise the walk is probably better as you have more time to enjoy the jetty!
The underwater observatory sells out pretty quick so book that in advance if you're keen (we would have loved to visit it but it was booked out on the day we were visiting).
Pretty amazing how shallow the bay is given the length of the jetty!
Qi Hong Wong — Google review
You’ve probably read this already, but I’ll reiterate…it’s a LONG walk to the end of the jetty, especially with a full set of dive gear in the hot sun. Make sure you bring a trolley to cart it all and plenty of water…there is a shaded area where you can set up though and an easy entry/exit with a ladder. Despite the long walk there and back, it is 100% worth it - the spot is world class with great sculptures, an abundance of marine life, and cool atmosphere with all of the pylons. It’s a shallow dive so you get plenty of bottom time to explore!
Steven Wimbush — Google review
Probably the only fun place to be in Busselton. You can swim, tan, fish, dive and even ride a train. Keep in mind it is always crowded, weekdays and weekends alike, could be even more people during public holidays. Buying a ticket in advance is very advisable!

This the most beautiful jetty in Perth. Love the view and walking along until the end. Also best place for snorkeling, so many fish down there. Highly recommended for everyone:)

Went to Busselton as my son competed in the triathlon so we went on the jetty walk and tour on one his relaxation day and we caught the little electric train up and went in the underwater observation deck. Quite good and very interesting but our tour was full and would have been better if less people were there. So choose a time when its not heavily booked for better results. We ended up walking the 1.8 kilometres back and it is an enjoyable stroll but is a must do especially if you have kiddies with you

As one of the most popular tourist attractions in Western Australia, it is a must see for any visitor to the Capes Region. The heritage listed Busselton Jetty is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Construction of the Busselton Jetty began in 1865. Beginning as a mere 161 metres, sand drift resulted in an additional 131 metres being added in 1875. Further extensions were made throughout the following 90 years creating the remarkable 1.8 kilometre length.
After more than a century of use and servicing over 5000 vessels, the Busselton Jetty officially closed as a Port in 1973. Once closed to shipping, government maintenance ceased.-BusseltonJettyweb

Busselton Jetty offers a mesmerizing experience, stretching gracefully over the crystal-clear waters of Geographe Bay. The scenic walk provides stunning ocean views, and the underwater observatory offers a unique glimpse into marine life. The historical train ride adds a nostalgic touch. However, maintenance issues were noticeable during my visit, affecting the overall appeal. Despite this, the Jetty remains a must-visit for its natural beauty and recreational activities.

Nice way to spend a couple of hours on a slow walk. Well it was for me you can get a train. We were lucky enough to see a sail training ship mired alongside and to watch them cast off
Dennis Harrild — Google review
We’re not much into tourist attractions but somehow got into a different mood when we read about and then saw the Jetty on our walk and swim at the beach.
There wasn’t too much tourist traffic at the Jetty so we set off on foot, bought a $4 day walk pass and walked the Jetty.
Definitely worth it. It’s pretty darn cool to be out on the ocean over 1km on foot. Don’t forget to put on sunscreen, you’ll be exposed almost the entire time of the walk.
For those who don’t want to walk and spend the money, there’s a little e-train going back and forth.
Pretty sweet attraction.

Love the busselton jetty, especially at sunset, so beautiful!
We walked the jetty $4 for the walk to maintain the jetty, highly recommend the train ride for adults and kids alike, was good fun.
The aquarium seemed a bit pricey so we didnt go, but the rest was great. Good to see kids having fun swimming off the pier.

The Leeuwin Estate is a sprawling and prestigious winery that specializes in high-quality wines. With superb food and wine offerings, this is one establishment you don't want to miss out on.
The $95pp set menu plus $36pp for wine pairing is the absolute best deal you can get in Margaret River, at this level of fine dining. The food was plenty and so well-thought-out. It's just one of those experiences you need to pamper yourself with every once in a while.
Thanks to the chefs, the floor staff and specially Lisa for making my partner's birthday even more special, plus for catering to her gluten free diet.
Would recommend to anyone looking for something different. You'll be happily surprised.

Set on a gorgeous property, Leeuwin estate is a very homely and rustic feeling winery. We only managed to doing wine tasting and couldn’t enjoy the wonderful lunch that everyone is raving about because they are fully booked. So do remember to book and reserve weeks in advance!
The sommeliers were very well versed in introducing the different wine during the tasting and we ended up buy a bottle to enjoy back in our accommodation.

I paid for the experience of Wine and Art for $45 and it was totally worth it!
Me and my family had a wonderful experience understanding about different kind of wines. We had Cameron serving us, and he did an excellent job explaining from production, art, to wine profiles.
The wine were amazing and having the idea of what happened during harvest time to the difference of the wines taste, makes the experience perfect.
This is not my first time visiting winery and I will definitely recommend this to others.

Leeuwin is the top winery of all the wineries we visited in Margaret River. The art series chardonnay, especially the aged ones, is probably the best chardonnay I've had in a while. We did the lunch with wine pairing which felt more like wine with lunch pairing, as the wines really stood out when accompanied by the food. If you have only time for one winery in Margaret River, this is the one you want to go to.

We had a reservation at Leeuwin Estate for lunch and we arrived early and were able to taste all of their current wines at no extra cost before the lunch. Nice staff who have great knowledge about the food being served.

Visited Leeuwin Estate from Melbourne with my partner for tastings and lunch on a beautiful mid – February Monday. Weather was stunning matching the aesthetic of the estate.
Wine Tasting:
Despite being a walk-in, we were greeted with open arms and availability and were treated to a very comprehensive and knowledgeable tasting. The sommelier Chenae provided exceptional cellar door service. She had extensive knowledge, friendly demeanour and provided tailored recommendations appropriately. She advised we sample lunch with paired wines that were excluded from the tasting to experience the full breadth of range at Leeuwin. The wine was so good we returned for a second tasting of the Museum wines post lunch.
Paired Seasonal Lunch:
We had the 6 course seasonal lunch menu with paired wines. All of the food and wine was exceptional and our waitress Marina provided both compliments and service of the highest quality.
Started with sourdough with cultured butter and a Chef’s canape which was inhaled thus didn’t get a chance to take a photo.
First course was a Scallop Crudo which was delicate and light paired with a Riesling.
Second course was Stracchino paired with a Sauvignon Blanc.
Third course was Fish paired with a Chardonnay.
Fourth course was Margaret River wagyu with was tender and buttery paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon.
Fifth course was a dramatic blueberry dish.
Sixth course was the Cambray reserve cheddar with cornbread and spiced raisin. An interesting interpretation of a cheeseboard which was light and delightful to the senses.
Gallery:
Explored the gallery to digest the delicious lunch and tastings.
The collection featured landscape works of Australian Art Modernists including Albert Tucker and Arthur Boyd.
Leeuwin also have a service that ships your wine home which is handy for interstate visitors. Naturally we bought a case to take advantage.
A wonderful sensory experience that we would highly recommend to those visiting the Margaret River region

For me, a trip to Margaret River is never complete without a visit to Leeuwin Estate for lunch. This time, we had the tasting menu paired with icon wines.

If you are traveling wineries around Margaret river, it is a must visit one... Normally in the region, tasting is 10aud but after tasting if you buy a bottle, they dont charge you for a tasting. But here at Leeuwin Estate it is a bit different and tricky... Tasting menu has 3 section. Entry level wines are free to taste, art series are 10 aud but they dont refund it even you buy a bottle from the series and last icon wines, they are 10 aud to taste each, but they refund it if you buy a bottle which is around 100 aud. To be honest noone visit here for entry wines, so you end up paying 20 aud just for tasting... Be aware of that :) Apart from this, the estate is huge and you should spend couple of hours at least to enjoy.... Cheers

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Leeuwin Estate in Margaret River and I must say, it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. I went with some friends from the Perth and we were blown away by the exceptional service and beautiful views.
We opted for the set menu with museum wine pairing and it was truly a delightful combination. The food was fantastic, and even when there was a slight mishap with my fish dish, the kitchen quickly rectified the situation and even provided me with an extra glass of the perfectly matched wine.
Speaking of wine, Leeuwin Estate is definitely at the top of its game when it comes to wineries in Margaret River. The art series chardonnay, especially the aged ones, left a lasting impression on me. In fact, it's probably the best chardonnay I've had in a while. The wine pairing during our lunch felt more like a harmonious symphony of flavors, with the wines truly standing out when enjoyed alongside the delectable food.
Not only was the estate itself absolutely gorgeous, but the staff were also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel at ease and were willing to go above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The art gallery downstairs was an added bonus, showcasing beautiful art pieces that were once featured as wine labels.
If you only have time for one winery in Margaret River, Leeuwin Estate should be at the top of your list. It offers a prestigious selection of fine wines, stunning food, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend the ultimate experience package for an unforgettable visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Lake Cave is a natural subterranean cave that offers group tours with knowledgeable guides. The cave houses a lake and stunning stalactite formations, which make for great photo opportunities during the guided tour. Visitors can enjoy a nice walk from Conto's campground to reach the entrance. The shop at Lake Cave sells plenty of merchandise, including 100% Australian-made products. While tours run every 1.
It's leg day if you're visiting caves!! Some fantastic photo opportunities during the guided tour by knowledgeable guides. If you're in the area this is well worth the trip, great value for money. (If you're going to more than 1 of the "big 4" caves, you get discounted entry).

Probably one of the most interesting caves in the Margaret River region. Although it’s a bit short under ground. At least its very informative.
Of course as every cave in the region has, it must have a very long stairs down and you have to walk back up to the same way and there’s a total of 225 stairs so just be prepared.
Took a bunch of photos about the cave as well as the lobby and it’s very interesting lobby I must say. It even has a mini design of the cave in doors.
If you want a quick and interesting cave to visit, this is a must cave to go to.

One of the most beautiful and breathtaking caves I’ve ever been to. In the heart of the stunning Margaret River region, surrounded by the majestic Karri Trees, Lake Cave is a must see. Do yourself a favour, don’t just simply drive past. The entry fee is more than reasonable and worth every cent. Jet, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and lovely to chat with. The cave itself is absolutely stunning. There’s quite a few stairs down and back up, plus a tight squeeze to get into the cave nothing too tricky. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience! Plenty of parking available, toilets, undercover seating and a lovely little giftshop. The tour itself was suitable for our family including a 3 year old - although she did ask to be carried up half the stairs. The stairs all have railings and are relatively easy to do. Some low points when entering the cave, I am a small 5'2" and barely needed to duck for them, may be trickier for those that actually grew during their teens. Great tour guide, lots of little jokes, great information and plenty of stunning sights when in the cave. We enjoyed it more than Mammoth Cave.

This was an exhilarating experience. The cave was a sunken hole under the forest with a lake inside. It was a relatively young limestone cave. The guide was very knowledgeable and patient. It was long way down via narrow staircase. Climbing down was easier than Climbing up. Very well preserved and clean. I love the part when the guide turned off the spotlights and it was pitch black. He turned on one spotlight at a time. The limestone pillars, stalagmites and stalactites were breathtaking. The lake just added to the serenity of this spot. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience! Highly recommend this tour. There are 325 steps, so be prepared to use leg muscles you didn’t know you had. I wore a light jumper as I found the cave quite cool, but my partner was comfortable in shorts and a shirt. The inside of the cave is stunning and well worth the visit. The centre at the top has a gift shop and information. You can only do this cave via tour at $24 per adult, Mammoth Cave is self guided. Our tour guide (Josh) was very funny and informative.

There's over 300 steps down into the caverns but you can take your time coming back to the surface, plus there's a comfy lounge waiting for you & a huge selection of gifts for you to browse through afterwards. Chat to the wonderful staff about discounts to see other unique caves in the area also 😎

Amazing Amazing Amazing.. we were not sure which cave to visit and we were really lucky to choose this one .. This year the water level is higher than before and highly recommended to go for it .. lovely tour with very knowledgeable guide and talented storyteller

Absolutely breathtaking! Fabulous knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. This is a place that must be experienced, just magical. We will visit again when we’re back in Margaret river.

Beautiful cave with the added spec effect of the water reflections. The guide was amazing with information. The lighting is clever and the guide turn lights on and off to highlight parts of the cave. Must have a level of fitness but not too hard. Very enjoyable

Visiting ancient caves is one of the most recommended activities in Margaret River tour, and it is definitely worthwhile. The cave was more magnificent than I expected. It is not super big cave but there are many unique spots which you cannot see outside here. You can feel the transition of era during the cave tour.

Amazing cave. This is definitely the prettiest looking cave in Margaret River. The steps can be many, but it’s well worth it. You don’t need to be super fit to get to this cave, but you need to be able to climb about 320 steps up. Free parking available and there’s a lovely gift shop. The tour is fully guided and runs for about 40 mins. Tour guide was knowledgeable. She shared so much details about the cave.

Absolutely stunning. We had planned on seeing one of the many caves but only decided on Lakes Cave a few hours before our tour. Made the right decision. Our tour guide was fantastic - very informative and he has a real passion for the caves. I wish I could remember his name to give him full credit. We took the last tour for the day and he had such patience. 325 stairs doesn't seem like much until you realize it's actually 650 stairs and the second half are uphill LOL. We had a small tour group which made for an intimate experience. The water level in the cave is at it's peak and is a must see. The lighting and sensory displays that accompany the guided tour are like the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this to be the first cave on your list of caves to see. It won't disappoint.

Superb - this cave is amazing!
Great tour guide who was knowledgeable and gave a great talk.
Heads up…….there are alot of stairs!

The most gorgeous cave I've ever seen! The water makes everything seem bigger than it is because of the reflection, but it's honestly a very cool place to visit. The guides do an excellent job explaining the origins as well as the science behind everything.

We went here during our day trip to Margaret River and it was breathtakingly spectacular. I cannot say enough how pristine and stunningly beautiful this cave system is. The only downside is the number of stairs to get down and back up - there are a lot! If your fitness won't allow you to do stairs then this isn't the attraction for you.
EDIT: The owner response is spot on - there are several places you can rest and take your time on the stairs and to admire the gorgeous scenery. But, if you have mobility issues with stairs, I would seriously consider whether this is an option for you. p.s. the pic of my husband on the stairs was the "easy" set of stairs at the other cave but included for perspective

Beautiful Cave. A must visit spot when in Margaret River, please do read some history and background in the reception area before or after the trip. The guided tour instructor was very courteous, informative and humorous, and also offered to take a family picture. Highly recommend to book tickets online ahead of the visit. And also be prepared for some physical activity. Please avoid it in case you have issues with your legs or knee. Me, my partner and our 8 yr old had a great time.

Family Fun for most ages and affordable! Great educational opportunity and all around a must do in Margaret River. There are over 300 stairs, so not recommended for those with physical restrictions or afraid of heights.

Fantastic experience for all the family, lots of steps, so comfortable shoes are a must, but once below ground, you are in for a treat of epic proportions

We are a family of 5 visiting Margaret River for the first time and a visit to lake Cave was a must due to the once in a lifetime opportunity to witness the water inside the cave at the level it is at. Highly recommend purchasing your tickets online to make sure you get to join a tour and book in advance as they do get booked up quickly. There are over 300 steps and at times they can be quite steep so if you struggle with your balance or struggle with stairs and your mobility this cave may not be suitable for you, especially when you have to make the journey back out it’s a tough workout. The tour guide was great very informative and funny 😁 I highly recommend a visit especially within the next few weeks as the tour guide said that the water will drop significantly again so there’s not much time left. However the beautiful crystals, stalagmite and stalagtight formations alone are absolutely worth the visit. The ticket prices also are very reasonable especially as we are a group of 5 and in total it was around 80$ which I thought was pretty good. Make sure Lake Cave is on your itinerary you will not be disappointed ☺️ if I was to say one minor negative it would only be there was no aircon in the souvenir shop as you exit the cave tour! on a hot day after that climb out and up the stairs walking into there it was really quite hot you really could do with some cool air especially to help the browsing of the souvenirs a little more pleasant. But other than that it was all fantastic ☺️

Beatiful cave. The water levels are higher after 30 years in the history of cave. We can see the suspended view of the tabletaop in the cave. Really a worth visit. There are quite a lot of stairs and narrow spaces. There was a fire quite recently and the stairs are now reconstructed by a couple.

This cave is a great place to visit. There are quite a few stairs so you need to have a bit of fitness to go through the cave as you move up and down to see the features. There is a self guided tour with headphones which explains everything in the cave. There are low points and it is damp so a bit of caution is advised. Still a great place to visit, with public toilets and a visitor center.

Definitely worth a visit and glad My wife and I went. Like how they give you a little audio unit and headphones to tell you some information about the cave. Also if you can do the 160 step climb to get out puts things in perspective. Low light photos came out great.

Great self-guilded cave walk. Headsets are given to listen to on your walk. Ticket $24 for an adult. Large cave with lots of fossils found. The chambers are very impressive and massive! Lots of stairs at the end, so wear comfortable shoes and remember a jacket.

An Accessible Cave Experience. Mammoth Cave offers an easy walk with visually appealing formations. The audio guide enhances the visit, just make sure to follow the instructions. The pathway is straightforward, but remember not to touch anything inside except for the handrails. Parking can fill up quickly. Toilets are available, as is a gift shop at the visitor center. The natural walk post-visit is also worth exploring, with both short and long options that loop back to the start.

Such a wonderful experience. The self-guided tour was great because you can go at your own pace. My partner and I took about 2hours to slowly explore the cave and take the longer-return walk. Well worth the visit.

Stunning cave!!!
Definitely wear enclosed shoes, pants/shorts & take a jumper!
Need a good camera with a flash option.
160 steps to get up/out - so be prepared for kids to get out of breathe lol.
I highly recommend the long bush walk back to enjoy the stream crossing.
Keep an eye out for the tiny orchids.

This is a fully self guided tour, so you can just rock up and buy tickets. The chambers are very impressive, and there is a bit of stair climbing, especially at the end. Highly, recommended but can get a bit busy in the holiday periods.

Really enjoyed the self guided tour with the headset telling you all about this natural beauty. I loved learning about the fossil discoveries and the history behind the caves. The only thing I would caution about is the stairs. Not ideal for elderly or people with medical conditions.

Loved every minute!! Super accessible and easy to manoeuvre in. The cave is stunning, you could easily spend hours in there and not get bored. The kids loved the fossils and listening to the audio guide. Lovely and helpful staff.

This is an amazing place to visit. The staff are friendly. They will give you audio device that you can use to do the tour yourself. The cave is really impressive inside. If you get cold really fast take a jacket with you you will thank me later. Also make sure to go toilet before you enter the cave as there are no toilets inside the cave.

Great self-guilded cave walk. Large cave with lots of fossils found. Some fossils are spotlighted in the large well lit cave. Very impressive. Lots of steps. The pictures don't do justice to the beauty of the cave.
Sharleen & Anders — Google review
Chose Mammoth Cave due to the easier access. The audio self-guided tour was excellent. The first section has no steps, then there are a few should you choose to go further, if you can it is worth the effort. The stairs aren't too challenging, a mix of up and down. Stairs and hand rails are very secure - I do have a serious heights fear. The exit is more stairs, which leads to a bush walk back to the start. Eyes open, you may find some lovely flowers.

Spectacular!
A must-see on the to-do list when visiting Margaret River.
I think the price is reasonable and goes back into the community and conservation.
Be guided by commentary which will give you all the info you need, this of course is optional.
A little gift shop as you enter/exit should you want any souvenirs.
I will let the pictures do the talking!

Gigantic and impressive cave, very well maintained path and easy to walk with some steps. Self guided audio tour provided with your entrance ticket ($24 for adult and $12 for kids) very interesting and informative. After the cave tour, you can also do an outdoor nature walk.

What an amazing experience to visit this natural cave!
This cave is self-guided by using the headphone which has many languages to choose from. You can spend time as much as you want in the cave. The stairs are a bit narrow and can trip you over easily. Must walk carefully!

Fantastic place to visit, highly recommend.
It's a self tour and very easy walking
Can easily do on open footwear if that's what you have.
Lovely and cool once in the cave system on a warm summer day.

An amazing experience, self guided tour with headphones to log into each recorded information section.
An easy walk through the cave and 160 steps to the exit, I would happily go back again.
Not a great deal of parking available
$24 each adult
I suggest that you book in advance or you will be waiting for headphones to be returned
Probably not suitable for wheelchairs,

Went with my son and it was okay. I think it probably depends on your expectations to a certain degree. The guided tour was partly okay but also partly bad in that it sort of kills off some of the communication in your group. For us, was just the 2 of us. Was a bit narrow in places but easy enough to get around.
Nat Wallis — Google review
Amazing to see such a beautiful natural cave. We were told it was formed due to rivers eroding the limestone away over 100s thousands of years.
They mentioned over 10,000 bones and fossils have been recovered in its time and you can still see some in the stone walls.
Amazing place!
Matt H — Google review
The walking audio your was much better than I was expecting. Informative, interesting, but timing not perfect of you're a faster walker.
The walk out had a lot of stairs and may not be suitable for those who struggle with this.
The caves were beautiful. Very photogenic
May need a light jacket of it's hot outside as the temperature differential can be big. It's 15deg C constantly in the cave.
James Hughes — Google review
This a great cave experience. It is a self guided walk, with easy to follow paths and nice lit up formations.
The audio tours give lots of information and are easy to follow. They also slow the experience down a bit.
There are plenty of stalactites and stalagmites, columns flows, shawls and trees.
It is not as glamorous as some of the other caves in the area but worth adding to your experience of the region.
As they say it has some big caverns, but also some close parts too.
Lots of stairs so be ready for that.
It is also quite cold in the cave though we all went through in shorts and t-shirts.
I got addicted to this yogurt after tasting at their premises. They have 3 flavours (strawberry, blueberry & salted caramel) Luckily, able to purchase at some groccer shop in WA. A must try if you visit them.
Suriati Sahak — Google review
Atrocious service at this place. A sprinkle of customers, maybe 5 total, including us.
We walked around for 10 minutes with no interaction whatsoever. We decided to still buy a jar of spread to support and buy local. However, the experience was ruined by the unfriendly asian lady.
If you want a similar experience where you feel welcomed, then I would recommend Berry Farm about a 30-minute drive, much more variety on a picturesque farm with friendly customer service.
I was a bit surprised by the lower than average reviews here in comparison to other attractions in Margaret River, but it is quite reflective of my experience.
This place is a poor representation of the Margaret River greater community.
Worst experience in Margaret River.

Nice cheese but why do they close so early!!! It’s impossible to get to all your favorite places before 5pm so it’s hard to give this a full rating because we didn’t have time. Nice thing is that the “cheese tasting” is just a sample of Brie & cheddar that is pre-portioned and in a sample container so you don’t have to worry about booking a “tour”. It would be nice to try other options and it would be good if they had online ordering. Otherwise, a nice stop. Plan to buy the cheese while there because we couldn’t find it at the local Coles store.
Renee Cutaia — Google review
We enjoyed our visit. It's a Good place for cheese lovers. Quite a spacious shop that opens for public but not much of a display inside, maybe due to Covid, so it's not exactly a tour type of visit. You can try and buy their cheese and beverages. Clean Toilet available on site.

Cheese lovers paradise. All the favourite cheeses available like Brie or Camembert. Lots of gourmet flavoured cheese.
Chutneys, oils and other condiments available. Lots of gifts are available and beautifully presented.
My friend loves his cheese so bought quite a few.
Creamy texture and excellent quality.

I really enjoyed my experience at this tourist destination. This is a really inviting complex which is painted with bright colors. The shop area was open and airy and had a great atmosphere to it. On the counter were a number of cheeses and yogurt for tastings at the customers leisure. My favorite cheese was the camembert, which is one of the best I have enjoyed. There are cold cabinets displaying a large variety of ice cream, yogurts and cheeses. Access to the complex is user friendly to those with wheelchairs and walkers. Unfortunately we didn't get to do the tour of the cheese factory. The toilets were clean and well maintained. Another option I liked was the suggested packages for picnics that the shop puts together for customers, including a cooler bag and ice brick. There are several parking areas providing lots of parking bays. There are also shelves displaying other local goods (jams, honey etc) and souvenirs for purchase.

Popularly known as cheese factory, source local dairy. Cheese products and yogurt was brilliant, bought few popular varieties to go with wine. Cute little shop with options to buy coffee and ice cream. Facilities include toilets, little sitting area and decent size car park.

Nice clean tasting style. They put cheese samples on little skewers.

A little disappointing... I was hoping for a tour etc. nothing... maybe COVID Restrictions are to blame? The staff member wasn't interested in their job or explaining any of the products on display. I didn't feel welcome & we were the only people in the store!
Gnarabup beach is a small sandy beach with great views of White Elephant Island. It is dog friendly and perfect for families, with shallow water and plenty of sand for games. There are also some lovely snorkelling spots nearby.
South side of Gnarabup Beach is this great sandy beach and dog friendly too. Just over the hill from the White Elephant cafe. There are a few steps to get down to the beach so you need to be steady on your feet.

The view throughout the drive here was spectacular, only to be disappointed by a small beach covered with smelly mountains of seaweed and naked children running around. Don't waste your time coming here. Much cleaner and better beaches even in Perth!

Dog friendly beach access isn’t too friendly for dogs. Black recycled plastic boardwalk is hotter than the road surface. Needs to be redone from treated pine like most other beach access in Australia, or removed and left as a sand track. Not good for travelling Doggo’s compared to other dog beaches around Australia.

Ok beach near MR town. It’s got a lot of seaweed on the shore but ok for a little play in the water or fishing off the jetty. There is a restaurant right on the beach too but we arrived at sunset and it was closed so not sure how good it is. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here but I would go if you want to take the kids to a close calm beach for a short time. I’m guessing it’s more of a local place not a tourist stop.

This is a great spot to come for a swim or have a coffee or something to eat I found it nice and relaxing and the views are really nice there was a fair bit of seaweed on the beach but apart from that everything else looks really good you could even hire some boards to go out to me it looks really good from mwh

Beautiful beach for walking there’s a nice footpath behind the dunes that can take you all the way to Surfers Point and the River Mouth. At times there can be clumps of seaweed washed up and it can be a bit rocky. Your best bet is going for a dip in front of the White Elephant Cafe. Great for paddle boarding.

While on our trip to Margaret river, we could help but stop off at gnarabup beach, for a swim 🏊♀️ , and our son enjoyed building sand castles . Afterwards we popped to the white elephant for a cold coffee and bite to eat. The staff where very polite but down to earth. In the harsh times where in, every was very respectful of the 1.5m COVID spacing and all using the COVID safe wa app. The food was good and the prices where reasonable. It’s got views on views that money can’t buy. I’ll definitely be returning again to both the beach & white elephant cafe

The Grove Distillery & Brewery is a charming accommodation option that boasts an on-site distillery and cafe, making it the perfect destination for a weekend escape. Guests can enjoy warm apartments that come equipped with fireplaces, BBQs, private hot tubs and stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The distillery is within walking distance from the accommodations, where visitors can indulge in tastings of various liqueurs and whiskeys.
Loved our stay in the accommodation! Perfect spot for a weekend escape, in walking distance of the distillery. Quiet, lots of privacy, views out over the vineyards. Popped in for a tasting of the liqueurs followed by a cheeky cocktail or two (Coffee and Turkish delight martinis were delicious). We came back the next day to cap off a day of winery tastings - tried the whiskeys and picked up some premix cocktails to take away. Will definitely be back! Cafe was closed when we visited. Staff were super lovely to chat with.

We had an excellent visit here recently. We were welcomed in and tried the liqueur and cocktails (really reasonable) and bought a few to take home.
This is a place that has fun at heart but its backed up with great drinks options and staff.

Looking forward to returning soon to try the cafe and more delicious drinks.

We did some tasting and the staff at the brewery were an absolute joy to be around, so funny, relaxed and welcoming.

Thanks Steve - you were the highlight of our stop. Wonderful experience and was so nice to meet you.

The establishment itself is lovely, not a bad selection of drinks at all; however, the owner Steve was appalling. A man of his age should understand respect and kindness. We had a winery tour take us and not only was he drinking on the job but he berated our tour guide in front of us about us. This was the last winery of our day and the one we looked most forward to noting it was cocktails... however only tasting two exceptionally sweet cocktails was disappointing. I further paid $10 to receive less than the 15ml serving as he ran out and I quote "only have two bottles left which I will be selling and not opening for your tasting" but did not further discount my less than adequate serving.

Had an awesome experience at the Grove distillery with a group of international friends some non-in English speaking on a bit of a work/a holiday trip. The personnel were more than accommodating and very professional. With one on ones with everyone in our group we left satisfied and a couple of bottles heavier if you’re down Margaret River way, I’d advise you to make a stop.

5/5 stars for everything. We came out here on a public holiday, it was open so we sat for a liquor tasting and a tasting plate. The service was absolutely amazing 6/5 stars, the two lovely ladies behind the bar went above and beyond to accomodate us. They engaged in conversations with us not only regarding the liquor but about our lives as well, making us feel super comfortable and happy. The liquor was incredible, we all walked away with at least one bottle. The tasting plate was incredible as well, the flavours were balanced beautifully and was enough for 3 adults. I couldn’t recommend the grove more.

The scenery is beautiful, with seating views of the lake and vineyard, and we ordered the dip platter, with multiple homemade dips and fresh soft and crunchy bread.

The quality of the drinks offered was much higher than what is usually commercially available, and they really care about service.

Just stayed in the wonderful Chardonnay chalet, it was fantastic and spacious, very secluded feeling with wonderful views from your spa looking out over the vineyards. The staffs there were super friendly! The atmosphere was good, also nice views.
We ordered pizza and chips, both were delicious! The portion size is generous.
Highly recommend their cocktails and liqueur, especially the Turkish delight!
The liqueur tasting experience was fantastic, they would not only let you taste the liqueur itself, but also showed you the other recommended ways to drink it. For example, after tasting the Turkish delight liqueur, some ginger ale and cream were added to make it a lovely cocktail, which was marvellous!
The coolest thing was, we didn't feel any pressure to buy stuff at all. Would love to come back when visiting Margaret River next time.

I visited with a group of 10 and the two ladies working at the time were very accomodating of us. They were genuine and easy to get along with and showed an interest in us as people. They definitely knew what they were talking about and even though I didn’t do any of the tastings because I was a driver, I learnt a few tips and tricks about cocktail making that I can take home with me and I purchased 4 bottles of liqueurs to try in my own cocktails at home. This is definitely a must stop place for any trip! I look forward to next time when I will not be driving and can take part in the tastings!

Nice location in the heart of the wine lands - very peaceful and quiet. Beautiful setting.
Rooms were cold and no provision for heating them. The host was very rude over message. Locked the 3rd bedroom to "avoid cleaning charges" even though we booked 3 bedrooms, and then proceeded to tell me where my baby should sleep to avoid opening it on request. No WiFi, and no food available at all - despite advertising restaurant and cafe.
Not impressed with the service and attitude. But otherwise, a nice stay.

A place we visit regularly when in the region! This place always lives up to our expectations.

With large and small bottles to suit everyone’s budget. Don’t miss out!
This is an awesome place to visit if you are a chocolate lover. You can watch chocolates being made through a glass window. There is a lovely cafe with reasonably priced food including fondue and hot chocolate. There is outdoor seating, a public toilet and a huge range of chocolates to buy. Must see destination when in Margaret River.

I’ve been here many times over the years and never had a bad experience. Staff are friendly and pricing is quite reasonable.
On this visit I had a single scoop mint choc chip ice cream. It was lovely, and I actually received 2 scoops for the single scoop price. Perhaps they saw me snapping photos…
COVID safe protocols are pretty much non-existent, which is a little worrying given the self-serve chocolate buttons are still a crowd favourite. The Swan Valley store has a hands free dispenser which is a far more hygienic (safer) option.
The outdoor area is a nice spot to spend time chatting with friends or family. There’s a decent nature play area too.
Don’t leave anything unattended though as the local wildlife is always on the lookout for unguarded ice cream. Yes, it’s that good.

Great selection of chocolates with really something for everyone makes it a great stop. As a fan of fruit & nut chocolate, I definitely wasn’t disappointed, with both thicker blocks and thin blocks to select from, all carefully wrapped up and displayed in large piles. There is also a display section in the fridges near the counter were you can select from, and a few taste-testing jars.
Once you’ve spent an hour or so drooling over the chocolate, there’s a cafe on-site that offers some really great food and coffee.

While we were planning to come here to buy chocolates - but because Fish Bone winery/restaurant was full for lunch - we came here and hey presto- they serve hot meals too! And was divine appointment as it was really good food!
The nachos with pull pork;
Buffalo wings (quite huge, 4 pcs per plate)
The fruit toast with butter!
And of course, mountains and mountains of chocolate varieties!! Go crazy trying to decide what to buy!
And the free choc drops to eat and sample!
And somehow, the chocs were much better than it was nearly 15-20 years ago!
Great improvement! Keep it up.

I don’t like chocolate but everyone in my group said this place was amazing. So much chocolate it’s unbelievable. They have free samples set up and people just get scoops and scoops worth. The hot chocolate is apparently better than Starbucks (based on my chocolate connoisseur experts). They have a big workshop too where I guess they make some of the specialty designs. It wasn’t really in action when we arrived but if it’s active it looks like it would be a cool thing to watch. If you are not into chocolate or want to switch to another sugar source they do have some cakes & pastries & coffee. I would have to say this is a must stop place (my family had to go 2x) if not just for chocolate but for the experience too.

We visited this wonderful place . It has an ice-creamery and coffee area just inside. Delicious ice cream is available and barista made coffee. Even hot chocolate drinks in a variety of fantastic flavors are available. The range of chocolates and sweets is incredible in the main selection area. The décor within this building is fascinating. While you are doing shopping or tasting, there is a playground area for children outside for kids activities. A real gem found only in the Margaret River Area,
Really nice place to get your chocolates. Pricing is quite reasonable. Parking readily available outside.
As we dropped by to buy chocolate here. There was a lot of variety and a section of items, Lots of glassed areas where we could see the factory and making of goods. Off course there is free sampling of the chocolate from dispensers. At the café we ordered a hot chocolate drink. ( To die for )We were served almost within 5 minutes. It's a good place to buy some chocolate for oneself or as gifts. After our drink we decided 15min. latter to purchase ice cream. Again served within 5 min. Staff were friendly, provided service excellence. Highly recommend this place.

Lots of chocolates and souvenirs for sale. Plenty of Easter stock. Only a few containers of samples available. Seems to be less and less about sampling and more about sales. I found the chocolate, truffles and souvenirs were quite expensive. Still a chocolate lovers dream destination.

How good are free chocolate samples! Especially when the chocolate is delicious! There is a bowl of chocolate chips on entry that you can sample however some people are gross and don't use the spoon provided. Witnessed unsupervised kids (early teens) putting both hands in the bowl and scooping chocolate out to fill the cups they brought in with them.
Chocolate is delicious and variety is awesome.

A Convenient Spot for Chocolate Lovers. This well-known location offers a wide variety of chocolates to choose from. Parking is easily accessible. The hot chocolate drink is satisfactory, and the greenery at the back offers a pleasant setting for enjoying your treats. The kids have room to move around, and clean toilets are available. Free chocolate samples are a nice touch.

A chocolate factory with a viewing gallery of how their chocolate is made.
There are complimentary chocolate chips for all to sample.
We bought their ice cream and it was loaded with a large scoopful of ice cream on the cone!!!
The back of the factory has a large grass patch for the kiddos to run and possibly a picnic.

Anywhere that gives you free chocolate when you first come in the door it's okay by me the Chocolate Factory has an outdoor nature scape area I wouldn't quite call it a playground there's a beautiful green grass with lots of shade and picnic tables there's toilets on site and all around a nice stop for the family the prices of the chocolate are quite expensive but I guess this offsets all the free chocolate they give out

This place will blow your mind - a tremendous variety of all things chocolate!! Lovely chocs in the shape of quokkas and other Aus creatures, every flavour combo, testing/tasting station, ice creams, a cafe. Lots of thoughtful gift combos from the tiny $3.95 Quokka choccie to the $100 plus choccie hamper. A must visit, try not to be overwhelmed by the choice because it’s huge!

Chocolates are great, food at the Cafe is amazing too. Highly recommended

The hot chocolate you can buy and the chocolate chips you can try for free are delicious. The hot chocolate you can decide if white/milk or dark chocolate.
However, the chocolates I bought there are one of the worst chocolates I have had in my life. Typical 'cheap' Australian chocolate, nothing to do with real chocolate. I had different bars, the ginger walnut and the super fruit, anything tastes extremely like butter. That's not how good chocolate should taste like and definitely not for the price you pay ($9-$14 for a bar). Probably I will be back for the hot chocolate, but to buy chocolate I rather buy proper European one.

Visitors can feed the farm animals and enjoy rides on the carousel, bumper cars and boats. Admission costs $24 per adult and $22 per child with a small bucket of carrots included in the price, though additional buckets can be purchased for $2 each. The friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere at this local business.

I’ve been coming to this place for around 25 years. Today I was able to take my kids for the first time and was so pleased to be welcomed by the same gent who’s been running the place since it opened. Such a wholesome experience. Will be back for as long as it’s there.

Amazing! So fun for all ages! A warm welcome on entry. Our family loved the cute animals and enjoyed cuddles with the bunnies and Guinea Pigs. We watched the kids play in the play centre while we had our complimentary coffee and tea. Paddle boats finished off our visit fun fun fun 🤩

Quaint little farm offering a diverse range of kid-friendly activities from animal feeding, a huge indoor playground and paddle boating on serene waters. Owners are really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Had a great morning with our 2 and 4 year old girls. They loved feeding the rabbits, Guinea pigs and other animals. A ride on the carousel(runs on the hour every hour from 11am) followed by a cruise under the shade of the lakeside Peppermint trees on the paddle boats was just what we needed on such a hot day. Some fun on the bumper cars for both the kids and us and then into the huge indoor play centre(take socks with you or $3 a pair to purchase). While the kids were burning off their energy, I enjoyed the complimentary coffee(tea and water also available). Although it seems fairly expensive, this entry fee covers you for a bucket of food for the animals, carousel rides, bumper car rides, entry to the huge indoor play centre and paddle boat/canoe rides.

It's the first place we've been to where it has a few of animal farms, quite large indoor playground and boat rides. Our child enjoyed playground and feed animals. With $24/adult and $22/child, we got a small bucket of carrots for family, free ride (for boat, bumper cars, carousel) and free entry for playground. $2 for extra bucket of carrots. Staff were friendly.
Hope the management can maintain the breed of guinea pigs so that they won't be uncontrolled breeds, can offer more animals. It's a good place for you to visit if you are in the area, especially when weather is not that great but your kids still can enjoy the day as they have indoor playground.

Very expensive for kids. $22 for a child just turned 3! Was a bit run down but enjoyable. Ponies needed a drier area before their feet rot. Otherwise was ok and kids had fun

This place is meant for kids but even if you are big kids like us you ca have fun too we were 5 adults and we had a lot of fun here, there are bumper cars, paddle boats, merry go round that is included in the tickets, we even got buckets of carrots to feed all the hungry animals, we started our day here so I guess the animals were really hungry which made the feeding fun!

Went with family of lots of kids aged two to twelve years.
Kids loved feeding the Guinea pigs and rabbits. A few of the rabbits were ok with being picked up.
It was a rainy day so a lot of time was spent in the indoor playground. Bigger than some dedicated play cafes!
Kids loved the dodgem cars and went on them twice.
If it were warmer we would have gone on the paddle boats and the carousel.
Well worth visiting. The kids had a blast.

What an amazing place. Great for little kids or even older kids. Bumper cars, paddle boats, animals to feed, 12D movie cinema, feed the animals and you get to cuddle some too. This place is definitely one you must visit if you have kids. Added bonus was the baby duckings 💜

Woeful experience, from rude inhospitable staff to poorly kept animals and outdated and unclean attractions.
This is an absolute tourist trap.
Bouncy castle is non existent as it’s not blown up.. indoor play area is filthy, outdoor play consist of a few faded garden plastic cubby’s… boats take on water, arcade is a filthy disgusting joke with half of the games no on or in operation.
Free bumper cars ends up being 6 minutes then stops and you need to pay for more time.
$120+ for entry to be berated within 5 mins as we had the audacity to want to utilise the boating ‘lake’ and the owner had to stop watching YouTube on the office computer.
The only people I would recommend visiting here would be the local health inspector and the RSPCA.

Great little farm with a good selection of farm animals that are all very friendly and well looked after! Thoroughly enjoyed feeding and petting the rabbits🐇 Great place to take children for lots of fun.
Family park with timber mazes, a bouncy castle & play areas, plus a puzzle-themed cafe & shop.
Friendly staff and inviting environment. We planned to have a short stay while having a coffee but ended up staying for around 2 hours! Enjoyed the puzzles but didn't had the chance to try the maze as the weather was not suitable. Will come back again.

I really enjoyed this Maze. You can choose which difficulty to compete the Maze. We completed it on the extra hard mode which was to find each numbered corner sequentially without using any bridges. We didn't stop at the Cafe but had a look at the puzzle shop. They are currently building a mini golf course so soon you could spend half day here easily.

Great day out (even for adults). We did the maze then mini golf, with a coffee break in between of course. Different challenges in the maze kept us busy for at least an hour. The mini golf was beautiful, with little lakes all around. Would recommend picking a relatively cool day, and staying hydrated.
Shahar Eyal — Google review
Mini golf greens were amazingly sent out, with 2 sets of holes (one for average one for advanced). Then you had the maze which the kids loved.
Need to pop in and make a visit especially if you dragged your kids along to a few wineries before hand lol fun for all ages.

Such a beautiful mini golf course, so much fun. The maze hasn’t changed since Ive been coming here as a kid but it’s definitely still a fun family experience. Purchasable games here are also always great.

A simple but unique set up! A great experience for kids and adults alike, with water guns placed throughout the maze on a hot day! The staff were so friendly and we enjoyed browsing the board games and having an iced drink in the cafe.

We got lost and then we found...play. Our group was 10 people ages ranging from 2-73. The kids know play but sometimes as adults you forget, but at this place we found the "play".
The maze can take as long as you want. It will get hot, but you get water pistols to take with you and there are some shady sections. There are water filling stations throughout the maze too.
There is an awesome game shop, a cafe to grab a bite and a playground. You could stay here all day or as a quick stop on your journey.
It was such a relaxing break. I played with my family in a way I haven't for a long time.

A hidden away little gem of a place to take, your family, partner, or even just a mate. Try the Maze, different strategies = different difficulties. Enjoy a round of Putt Putt golf, again with varying skill levels then grab a feed with a cold or hot beverage. Some beer available as well. Plenty of parking available.
Highly rate this place as a must do activity when in Western Australia.

Last weekend was the second time I’d been to the Yallingup maze and it was just as good the second time round. I love that there are different challenges with increasing complexity & the bridges make it great for having an “out” if you get too stuck & frustrated. They have a cafe too with puzzle trays filled with puzzle toys for you to sit and tinker with while you eat and drink and there are more walking puzzle games out the back. Also an amazing collection of games in the cafe to buy!

Nice place to bring kids on a weekend or holidays. Great place to dine-in while solving puzzles. My kids love doing wood puzzles. Mini golf for all ages and the maze is amazing.

We did the maze first which took us about 35-40 minutes. We would have kept going but the rain was getting heavy. We played the round of minigolf which was cool. The course has water obstacles and is really pretty. Indoors we had lunch and played the brain teaser games. There was a HUGE number of jigsaw puzzles, board games and educational games for sale. Very friendly people.

We absolutely loved our time in the maze and minigolf. The maze was more intricate and complicated than what we had initially expected which was a great surprise. The mini golf was beautifully set up, and a lot of fun. Thank you for a great experience.

Had a great morning here with a few families. The maze is good fun and will keep you busy for an hour or so. They have water pistols you can use for free which adds a great dynamic. And if you get a bit lost/frustrated there are some upper walkway exits. The mini golf is amazing. Best and most challenging course ever played - hole in ones are hard to get. But still good for all ages. Beautifully presented. Lastly, lots of little puzzles on the tables and in the gardens to entertain. Dogs can't enter maze or golfing area. Overall it isn't cheap, but a great location for a fun visit. I recommend.
Mark Saunders — Google review
Fantastic family fun! The maze is challenging enough to keep you engaged for about 45 minutes. The maze is engaging. The adjacent playground is a kid's dream come true. Don't miss out on the puzzles in the café or the mini-golf. While the entrance fee for the maze and mini-golf isn't cheap, the experience is worth every penny. Ample parking and the potential for 1-2 hours of entertainment make this a top spot for families.

Came around noon and we decided to have a bite first as it was a rather hot day. The seafood basket was yummy.
The maze itself was fun especially if you didn’t want to “cheat” by using the bridges. Took us a while to get through towers 1 to 4 in that order.
Fun activity for a family.
Colorful underground cave showcasing stalactites, stalagmites & helictites with a 1-hr. tour.
Love the caves. Has that sense of adventure but still very well set out and safe. Kids and toddlers friendly. Definitely recommend on your to-do list! Photos just don't do the caves any justice - come experience it yourselves!!

Wow this was so much fun. You got to go really far down into the main chamber and you had to duck and twist through some of the narrow parts but it was no trouble at all. The humidity was crazy they said it was 100%. It was absolutely beautiful to see and our 7 year old absolutely loved the experience. What made it better was that you could look around at your own pace with no guided tour just a small one that the start to get you into the cave, this was good as kids can get board on long tours. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend

I booked on line for this cave tour and was easy to do with instant confirmation .Arrived 10 minutes early to show ticket and waited for tour to start which started on time.
Tour guide was very informative, friendly, considerate of children and made sure everyone was aware of the tour process.
The cave was much bigger than I imagined and took approximately 1 hour to see. The tour guide took us so far and then the remaining 3/4 was self guided.
If you are elderly it's probably not the right tour for you as there are approximately 350 steps to the bottom and the same coming up. Some of these steps are steep, slippery and you definitely need to duck and bend at times as to not bump your head on the overhanging rocks.
The tour from my experience is well worth it and something as I feel as must see. It was the very first cave to be discovered in the area and WA very first ever tourist attraction.
Dexcellent Productions — Google review
Straight out of an alien/scifi movie and for those geologically inclined adventurers, this reasonably explorable/lit cave is worth the visit. Carrying young children for 300 steps can be challenging and painful.
A lot of work has gone through to make this tour be pragmatic and the effort is noticeable. An unexpected tour guide is present on the way and it gets a bit hot in there.
Keestu Tappali Ekanathan — Google review
If you've never been to a cave before, it's definitely worth a visit for $22.50 per person. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, there are 2.5 different paths to take, and it's always amazing to see something formed over hundreds of thousands of years!
If you've been to caves overseas (e.g. Vietnam), this is a fairly small one in comparison. The longer path is only 37m deep and 370? steps down.
Apparently this cave was the first official tourist destination in WA!
Definitely book tickets online beforehand if you're going on a busy day, the online booking process is very easy and shows availability!

The background history of this wonderful cave is very beautiful.
More than hundred year old since it was first discovered in 1900s, this cave was popular for honeymoon goers and couple looking to tie a knot.
The cave has got numismatic chambers or part up for different purpose. Cool thing about the main chamber is you got to look at the ceiling and be amazed and lost in your wildest imaginations.
You got to sing or dance (cautiously though) as it’s a tradition of this cave!
The cave got few narrow point inside so look out for your head and always stay close wit your children once inside.
The lighting and safety has been well looked after. The tour guide were at each intersection making sure we were safe or to answer any questions.
It’s semi-guided meaning you do your own findings and tour around, the guide escort you inside though but not for whole course.
Always get ahead of time at 10 minutes to make sure you are not left behind by your group and miss it.

A really beautiful cave to explore. Some places are really tight so try not to carry big haversacks. The thousands of stalagmites on top look really scary, as though they may fall on you any moment! But it was a fun experience. I takes around an hour to finish exploring. Should come visit if you are in this area.

Excellent Cave, tour guides are with you for ten minutes and then you are free to go at your own pace. There are a lot of stairs so it's best to take your time and rest regularly. There is a guide stationed in the main cave area if needed.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable which made for a very interesting visit; even my 11 year old son found it fascinating. Some breathtaking features which photos cannot give them true justice, you need to see it for real.

This was by far one of the most unique and adventurous experience I’ve had down in the Margaret River region so far but it is tamed, easy and made super safe.
Kudos to the team in building such solid infrastructure to bring this experience for the masses. Turning a 6-12 hour cave expedition into a family friendly 1-1.5 hour experience, bliss.
If you have young children under the ages of 5-6, please be mindful that you may have to carry them and it would be a challenging descend and climb. There’s 300 odd steps/stairs to climb each way.

It was an amazing experience. we booked tickets online with a discount to the lighthouse that I recommend doing as well.
We arrived 15 early tour started on time with over 20 of us going through.
You have an hour to get through the cave. we did it in 30 mins, lots of stairs with some tight spots you have to bend to get past. Lots of spots in the cave you can stop and sit. There's no need to rush.
The gift shop was ok. The lighthouse one is 10 times better
Good toilets that could use a clean more offen with the amount of people going through.
Lots of parking on an unsealed road that does have potholes when it's raining
The guide was great very knowledgeable.

Beautiful well maintained cave. Easily accessible for most areas with stairs and handrails. Some low head room at points as to be expected. The guide mentioned 350 stairs down and back up the elders and children may struggle. But can take at your own pace with plenty of rest stops along the way if needed. The walk to the cave has had maintenance completed and is complete with fun interactive learning experiences and a play ground for kids.
-Small car park and very busy on the weekend.
-Toilets on site.
-Water and ice creams
-A little gift shop with trinkets

We have visited most of the other caves in the south west region, and this cave has the newest facilities. Everything other than the cave itself seems to be new. The bathrooms are new, well maintained and clean. Allow at least 1 hour to tour the cave itself. Be prepared to go up and down many stairs. You’ll get a decent workout for sure. Some spaces are fairly tight with narrow widths and low ceiling openings. Remember to bring a torch light so that you can see dimly lit areas of the cave.

Visit this lovely location in Yallingup and take some time to unwind. The cliffs are formed by the limestone boulders that are ejected by the force of the Indian Ocean. There is lots of parking available. This is a wonderful location to make a trip to, regardless of the weather. We don't have to stay here for very long. It is a short distance to walk from the parking lot to the rocks.
A level and easy-to-walk trail can be found here.

Nothing much to say about visiting Canal Rocks other than the beautiful water crashing into the rocks.
It tends to be very crowded on peek time and it’s very hard for my big group to move out. It wasn’t fun having a lot of people blocking the only path for going in and out.
I highly suggest taking a safer way to climb the rocks to get a better view of the ocean.

The weather was really lovely when we went, the rocks were fun to climb on but you had to be careful not to slip. The rocks were dry when we went to it was easier to climb. I would be careful if I had young children or the elderly cause the bridge kinda just leads off into the rocks. The rock pools were very cute and the water was very clear you could see fish swimming in the pools! The waves do crash on the rocks so you do have to be careful in the water.

No matter the weather this is a great place to visit. Don't need to spend long here. The walk from car park into the rocks is short.

If I have to choose only one place to go to in the Southwest, I'd choose Canal Rocks. This is one of the prettiest spots to watch the sunset and no matter what the weather is, it is always stunning. It's always fun to climb around the rocks here, I've been climbing them since I was in primary school.
Just look after yourself over here, because there is always the temptation to keep climbing, but when the tide's are getting high, there's a bit of melodrama with the waves. There's nothing like the sight of a massive wave crashing over the rocks while the water bleeds through right under the footbridge. There's so much going on here so stay humble and enjoy the view.
