I bought a Mercedes Benz GLB 250, 4 months ago. Yesterday, while driving on the highway, when I use the liquid glass cleaner, the viper did not work. This is very dangerous. If this happened in the cold winter of Canada, it would lead to an irreparable accident. I'm really scared to drive this car right now. I dont feel safe with this car and I have three children and I am afraid to put them in the car.
I think another part of this car does not work at all times.
Please help me. I do not want to pay for a car in which I am not safe

I work for Mercedes Benz of Los Angeles and came here to pick up a European Delivery vehicle for a customer. First off, the class of service that was provided by the Mercedes Benz staff was AMAZING. I had such a good experience with everyone. The facility is really nice, the tour guides were worth the trip - the trip to this plant really opened my eyes about the brand itself. A LOT more respect for Mercedes Benz and their innovation for vehicles.

DO NOT BUY MERCEDES-BENZ! I bought a new 2021 e-class 10 months ago and they sold me a car with so many problems that it is undrivable.
I contacted everyone, including the factory from germany and after 10 months, i didn't got the money back, or the car fixed, or a replacement.
In short, everybody told me to accept the scam, because they will not do anything to help me.
So, after 10 months, i have a car that worth almost 100k euro, but i keep it in my parking lot, because i cannot drive it.
I don't know how to fix this and nobody want's to fix it.
I contacted EVERYONE from Mercedes and Dimnler. No success so far.
So don't buy a Mercedes-benz, because it looks that is a common practice to screw customers over and they all say "I can't help you, accept the scam as it is."

I found the factory incredible, but the tour left a lot to be desired. The information was quite fast-paced and I couldn't get a very good overview on how the machines work because the distances are too far from our sight
The V8 Hotel Motorworld Region Stuttgart is a car-themed hotel that features modern suites and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant features a menu that includes items related to cars, and the gym offers equipment related to automotive work.
Great place to stay, especially with large pets. The hotel and restaurant staff are so accommodating and they took excellent care of us. We ended up having to stay almost a month and they helped us with everything we needed.
The hotel is also fairly central to the city. Close to the mall and railway, so travel is very easy as are any needs such as food and clothing. Since we came from California we were slightly unprepared for the cold and snow but got everything we needed fairly quickly.

The rooms are nice, at least the thematic ones. Can't speak for the others. There are two separate buildings of the same hotel with no direct link between them, therefore if you're on the old building and want to go to the reception which is in the other building, it's not really convenient when there are -10°C outside. However, my biggest disappointment is the fact that a 4star hotel doesn't have a free parking for its clients, especially that its location is in the middle of nowhere. Not even close to the Stuttgart city. There's a parking in front of the hotel but you have to pay 14euros per night.(at a parkomat machine). I would have preferred to have this price included in the hotel price which wasn't that cheap either.

I attended an event in V8 and it was very professionally organised. While I didn't stay at the hotel, the staff was very friendly and took care of my luggage. The ambience is very good specially for car lovers. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience for any motor fanatics.
Food was excellent and the staff are very pleasant.
It is a train journey from Stuttgart HBF, however, it is only a 2 minute walk from the train station.
There was a McLaren dealership attached to reception. There was also a Ferrari dealership, a separate Porsche dealership and Lamborghini service shop within 2-3 minutes walk.
Highly recommend booking a themed room for the novelty.

Room was horrific, very outdated, no AC unit (it is 90 degrees outside) and they were full. From my 5 days reservation they could only give me a decent room for 1 day. I guess this hotel is a bet. If you get a room in the new building you are lucky, if not, good luck

What an amazing hotel. My husband & I stayed in the Jaguar themed room 4th-7th September. Talk about petrolheads, quirky soap & pen, chocolates all shaped cars, absolutely great, loved it.
For car enthusiasts, this place is a must, with fantastic supercar dealerships all around the place & even inside of the hotel lobby. The hotel garage is certainly a place to park your car, amazing, all of the supercars parked around you.
The staff were super friendly & helpful especially when we had trouble exiting the garage super early one morning when we had to drive to Munich to attend a BMW Driver Training Experience.
Spent half day looking around Motorworld, which is not half as big as the one in Munich, but still amazing places to visit. Had lunch and dinner in one of the restaurants in Motorworld, very good food & good price.
We ate in the hotel restaurant on the first night, food was very good, a little expensive but we did expect that.
All in all, we had a fantastic stay & we would recommend the Jaguar themed room, it’s massive with plenty of wardrobe space for your clothes etc. As for the shower room, well you could have invited a football team to join you, it’s so big, fantastic, loved every moment we spent there.
Fortunately, we had enough time to be able to use the Sauna, it’s located on the sixth floor, amazing, it’s the biggest sauna, we’ve ever used, well and the view, absolutely stunning.
Can’t wait to go again.

This is one of the best outlets I have visited in Europe. Depending on the time of the year, you can get some great discounts on majorly all high street and luxury brands. The Hugo boss outlet is one of the biggest there due to there headquarters being there. There are multiple parking options and if you can get I definitely recommend Park Haus 2. There are cafes, Restaurants like Marche and Starbucks. It’s also very easily accessible both by car and by public transport.

One of the best outlets in Germany. Here you will still find great deals.
If you come here you should come with time, the place is huge, is it a small town where the store are all around the downtown.
Here you will find all super luxury brands and well known brands. There is everything not only clothes, there is food, home appliances, I think even cars could be find here.
Take a look at the web site for more information about specific brands.
If it happens to be in a special day like Black Friday you should go because the deals are really really good.

Also there are sitting area and kids play area, so even if you are tired after walking all the way, you may sit and relax. Also if kids are with you, you can send them to the play area for their relaxation 😌

Love this place but we missed this time the best discount time. I think it was maybe on january and now the best time comes at may and july/august. We have been there when it’s 50-70% off 😭🥹🥰 This time on the beginning of the march it was all new stuff and petty sale shelve. But it doesnt mean there werent any people. It was super crowdy. Also I love that healthy place for food if your kids doesnt love this then also can get kids pizza 7,90€. Big plate for adults where 13,90, smaller 8,90 and little bowl 4,90.

Review: One of the best outlet cities in Europe. You can make great bargains and
Hint: Make sure to visit the outlet centre from Mondays to Thursdays. It's not crowded and you have a greater choice than on weekends.
Stores: There are high-end brands ( Gucci, Prada, Borrega Venetta) as well as other brands (Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger). Since the outlet city keeps growing, you should check the labels and map beforehand.
Price: Deondent on the shops you can really find great bargains here.
Parking: You can park your car in on of the parking lots for 1€ per hour roughly.

It’s a a big zone with fashion outlet shops but the connections are not done in a perfect way so to trash from zone to the other sometimes you need to walk in between residential houses and after two rounds you get tired, as first impression was not so wow and shopping prices did not surprise me too

Big choice of famous brand stores, mostly luxurious. Prices are about 20- 30% lower then in regular stores. Spicious and clean, parking garages available on few central locations.

A trip to the Metzingen Outlet is certainly convenient if you have access to a car. It's worth noting that downloading the Outlet City app provides a one-hour free parking benefit, making the arrival process smoother. The outlet itself offers a wide range of brand-name stores, making it a shopping destination. Whether you're a shopper or just browsing, the Metzingen Outlet has something for you.

You need one whole day to visit all.
Looking like a city and you may find with your budget.
Hint, no need to park outside of the city with a big banner of 1hour 1 euro. As the parking in the city is 1 euro and 50 cents.
From my point of view park in the city so you can place your shopping in your car and no need to drag them with you

The biggest outlet which I visited ! It is very good organized, very clean, and there is huge collection of famous shops. We found a very good discounts !!!
Nikola Banozic — Google review
Not a bad experience overall. The outlet have a lot of brands and the discounts are actually not bad. What I realize about this outletcity is that they give more space for the more high-end brands like Gucci, Armani, etc. The stores are separated by roads in the middle of it so it maybe quite confusing when wanting to find specific stores as it is not all beside each other, but there are directions which you can just follow.
I bought a winter jacket that was supposed to be around 200€ usually but got it for 114€.
Marktplatz, also known as the market square, is a picturesque and historic square located in Tubingen. At its center stands the 15th century Town Hall, featuring an intricately painted facade and a functioning astronomical clock. Tübingen Marktplatz is a historic market square with small cafés and restaurants surrounding it. One can enjoy good food, cocktails, and nice coffee there, but not all the places are open yet. If you stay until late though, it can get pretty rowdy sometimes with drunken frat boys staggering around, yelling and trying to impress each other. Not far from the market place is the house where the famous psychiatrist Alois Alzheimer lived as a student, with a plaque affixed to the wall proclaiming the fact. The car park at Nonnenhaus is the best place to park when going there.

19th-century, cliff-top castle, inspired by a novel, with a chapel & courtyard, plus regular tours.
Beautiful castle to walk around and view the amazing views. Not the largest castle and we weren't able to go inside but very picturesque nonetheless.

Really pretty palace and the views are amazing. Tour was kind of short and you are not allowed to take photos inside the palace, but still great to hear some history about this place.
The courtyard of the palace was the best.

Beautiful Castle with great views. Highly recommend the inside guided tour. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. This Castle is in a secluded location. Parking is €2. Best castle in the area. Looks like it came straight out of a fairytale book. The castle is located spectacularly on the edge of a cliff. You can take a ticket for the inner surroundings which is already great. The building itself can only be visited via a guided tour, which is very nice! Parking near the castle is easy but not free.
Taco Bakker — Google review
Beautiful view, as shown in the pictures.
The castle is fairly small, it turns out it can't be visited in its entirety, except on Fridays. However, on the brochure they provide when you purchase the ticket, it says that tower & second floor are not open to public because they're not secure.
Anyway, I would have loved to visit the whole thing but it was a Tuesday so I had to settle for great view, great pictures, fresh hair.

Small size castle located in a scenic vantage. It was a good 2km hike from Traifelberg. Entry fee is €3 per person for students. Guided tour costs more.
One can look down on the city of Lichtenstein from the castle premises. Well maintained and good for photos with the castle in the backdrop.
2 restaurants are nearby for refreshments.

One of the most beautiful places I visited in Germany. It is absolutely breathtaking. Everything in my journey to the castle was amazing, the walk, the weather, the forest, the cleanliness. The smell of nature and the view. A place that I may come back again to.

As an American I can really appreciate the history that is so well preserved here at this castle. Amazing views from every direction. Our tour guide mainly spoke German but was nice enough to repeat himself in English for us to understand. Very friendly people.

Interesting castle on the small cliff. First time I was in the castle for a tour. Well worth the 12 Euro. What I do not understand is why you are not allowed to take pictures on the inside. Saw also that you have a possibility to get married next to the castle. Very beautiful place but not so private. Well worth a visit.
Bj?rn Andersson — Google review
The grounds are nice and it has a nice view, but I would recommend skipping this castle altogether and heading to Hohenzollern Castle as it is a better value -- you get to walk through with the price of admission and there is quite a bit more to see.
If you do go, there is a "private" parking that costs €2 which you will arrive at first, but I would recommend you keep driving for about another 50m and trying to park in the upper parking lot by the restaurant as it is free. This lot is small so if you cannot park there, you can always just go back to the private parking lot and pay the €2.
Overall not a bad experience, but was not that impressive compared to other opportunities that are close.
Rob Tuttle — Google review
Incredible castle with a bunch of activities around it. Fantastic hiking and if you have kids there's a tree jungle gym type thing they could join. The tour of the castle is a little lackluster but overall definitely recommended and worth making a day trip out of.
Aren Schmidt — Google review
We hiked all the way up from bus stop
A terrifying experience while climbing as the trail went cold as there were fallen trees and we have to really be brave and take support of roots and climb
We weren’t in a position to turn around and walk down
But near the end of the trail we were able to find a good small pathway that connects one of the entrance of the castle
We went inside to admire and I would say - it was worth all the risks we took but wouldn’t take again
It’s always better to have a car as public transports don’t take you top
While descending again it’s a different task
The routes shown on kamoot were not present
So we had to take lot of detours and finally reached a pond
The hiking trail is beautiful and also terrifying at the same time 😅

The experience of visiting this castle is unique. I loved the history behind it and the motivation behind it. I strongly recommend you to visit both the garden and inside the castle. This is definitely the "one day" visit, so it doesn't take that long for you to go there and visit the place.
Mathias Mantelli — Google review
Even though we went on a rainy day, we still had a great time. The castle is filled with of rich history and still family owned. The tour was very interesting but a bit short. You do pay 12€ which is a bit pricy but worth it if you are interested in this sort of thing.
Parking was 2€.
The views were stunning! Even though we had a lot of fog and rain. Would love to come back and explore the surrounds next time.
Mia Shim — Google review
It was cold cold cold as we drove up the curvy road to the castle and parked the car in a snowy parking lot. Schloss Lichtenstein is a privately owned castle but it's open for tours.
The location dates back to around 1100 and despite being destroyed in twice in the 13th century, a new castle was built adjacent in 1390. It was eventually acquired by King Frederick I of Württemberg in 1802 who rebuilt it into a hunting lodge. The modern castle was added to it in 1840-1842. It has been updated and restored in the 20th century.
Despite the cold, it was a clear and dry day. We did the guided tour (in English!) and had a great walk throughout. Our guide pointed out several of the interesting features including the main dining hall, some of the entertainment areas and of course, the tremendous view of the valley. Note that photographs inside the castle are not permitted. The castle is stunning and well worth walking the grounds and trying for a tour.
Bruce K. — Google review
Visited the castle on a high wind day with light rain. First there is a steep but not terrible long hike to the castle entrance. The grounds offer beautiful views of the town below and while waiting to go into the castle itself you can visit the chapel and armory. You have to wait at the castle entrance before your tour starts which takes about 30 minutes. You visit the first and second floor of the castle via a guided tour. Always dress for colder weather when visiting because there is no place to go to get out of the weather unless you’re inside the castle. And you are not allowed to take pictures inside the castle. Well worth the visit.
Ryan Earwood — Google review
Incredible. Absolutely worth the visit for the views alone. Any weather and this castle is stunning. So unique and lovely to walk around. Only 4€ to enter!
Lily L. — Google review
We saw the photos on the internet and decided to go to see the castle . When it was time to pay , they told us that its 4 euro just for entrance and with german guide in the interior of the castle for 12 euros per person.
I told them that unfortunately i dont speak and i dont understand german, and their anwer was,
"" ist nicht my problem""
I didnt liked the behaviour at all.
Also at the end when we went to buy some souvenirs they force you to buy above 10 euros if you want to pay with card.
If the souvenirs cost below 10 euro only with cash.

Influenced by Moorish architecture, this thermal bath has modern facilities & an ice lounge.
Absolutely stunning!! A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere in a gorgeous environment! The entire thermal baths and sauna area are very clean and the staff are all well presented and friendly.
James Atkins — Google review
Really impressive thermal bath.
You can wear cloth or go naked on the ground floor. The rooms are modeled like a roman bath. Also some small separate rooms and restaurant is available.
The upper floor are only for naked visits. The top sauna has a really good view to the opposite mountain.
Lots of young people did hang out when we were there.
Silvio Knaebe — Google review
I went here on Tuesday. On that day it is possible to wear a swimming suite to the thermal. Entrance inside saunas is prohibited with swimming suite, but it is possible to take your own towel and cover yourself up.
Overall, it was a nice first experience and on working days there are not too many people.
The lights in the thermal on the panorama roof top are pinkish, and the view to the opposite funicular is incredible.
After all, you can relax and don't mind anyone's and yourself nudity.
Recommend to take a classic massage, the session is 25 minutes and it was good value for the money.

It was ok, not many sauna areas. Your german language must be very good in order to understand all signs
maarvard sommers — Google review
Great place, nice interior in the bath area and good saunas. Though being a Finnish person, the “Finnish” sauna isn’t very original 😂 we throw the water on the stove ourselves and sauna is the one place where Finn’s will talk freely to strangers, we also rarely use scents in the water.. but anyhow, I also enjoy the German sauna culture. Here the aufguss was quite gentle, I like it a bit more aggressive and with more personality and spirit. In other spas it’s also nice that the ceremony happens in different saunas at different times, here it was apparently only in this big “Finnish” sauna. Overall a good experience, one of my favorites so far.
Kristiina Hirvonen — Google review
Amazing. Old historical baths together with modern saunas and pools. We liked private small baths as well. Definitely want to return.
Alexander Sapojnikov — Google review
Well worth a visit… Variety of pools and saunas to choose from with different temps - we were a bit shy going naked at first, especially as not many people seem to on the ground floor. But once we made our way up to the saunas and roof pool (which were textile free only) we felt a lot more comfortable! We went “cold turkey” so to speak, but we noticed fellow spa goers starting off in their swimsuits and then going back to changing rooms to leave them behind - so don’t feel like you have to commit one way or the other. Beautiful building and 3 hours was perfect for us! The only downside was the receptionist eye-rolled us when we asked if she spoke English, and others have noted they come across rude towards English speakers. Such a shame, but it didn’t ruin the experience… Would definitely come again!
Chandler Divers — Google review
The place is stunningly beautiful and very clean but my least favorite of the several we have visited. As an English speaker, it was not user friendly and staff were nowhere to be seen to ask questions. There are many pools but very little variety. We were disappointed that the 36-38C pool was closed and 34C was the warmest available. The full body massage was pleasant but there was zero communication about what my needs/preferences were.
Cheryl Spessert — Google review
This place was excellent a nice quiet environment to just relax and get in touch with all your senses. They did not have the steam rooms active because of the covid-19 BS but everything else was good to go. I like the fact that at the time we waited it was not crowded period there was enough space and you can just relax and do her sauna have a nice polite conversation and just forget about you everyday dreads and worries. I highly endorse this location you have to try it for yourself. Once you do I'm certain you will not be disappointed.

Very nice Arabic style spa! Have to agree with other reviewers that the water in some pools felt colder than the indicated 34 degrees. Additionally, the websites states you can borrow bathrobe and two towels for a rental charge- I rented two basic towels and an old, slightly damaged bath robe and had to pay an extra 36€ at checkout, which is unreasonable and feels like a major ripoff. If you go there, take a bathrobe and an extra towel. Otherwise, I would’ve given four-five stars.

Very good. Amazing experience. Only not sure on the mineral content of the water, as there does not seem to be much residue on the walls. Parking is difficult. Park at one of the underground parkings and walk. If you're doing a tour of europe, please consider Bad Wildbad as a place to visit. It is worth the detour.
The hairdryers are located after the changing rooms. Nb: This place is nudist.

This place is just perfect in my opinion! The architecture is breathtaking. As a civil engineering professor, exploring the rooms to find the different pools and sauna rooms was by itself worth the visit for me… many pools with different temperatures! Multiple saunas from steam to aromatic and different temperatures!
Special shout out to Mr. Müller for the fantastic job on the “Aufgüß” 👌 I will be coming back for sure 👍

Unusual among German spas in being “clothing optional” throughout, with nudity the rule – not always enforced – in certain areas. Whether you like this depends on your preferences.
Plus point: a reasonably sized pool in which you can swim within the naturist zone. When I was there, however, practically all the visitors just hung around in the bits where there were bubbles!
Minus point (again, depending on your point of view): no serious swimming opportunities if you prefer to wear a swimsuit.

Beautiful thermal bath. You have an amazing view from the sauna of the "Montains" of Schwarzwald.
The Sauna seance was great but way to short. Normally they have it for 15 min but here we had 8 min.
I recommend to visit.

Beautiful European style bath. Clean. Water is cold so they should provide heat at least when you're walking around different baths so you're not freezing.

A very beautiful location and a beautiful building. The architecture is wonderful inside. It is an historic place. What I didn't like was the pools and the water. The water was not warm enough for me. 34 mainly and 36-38 degrees C in one single boring pool. We entered after 6 o'clock pm and paid tickets without sauna and the lady at the counter indicated us a certain area at the ground floor we were alowed to go but it was a confusing experience seeing that most of the people were completely naked everywhere. Because of the late hour we payed 25 euros/2 adults. The parking was free of charge for 3 hours. But they told us that after 3 hours the price is 9 euro/hour. If so, it is very expensive! The orientation signs and information were not very heplful. I know I will never go there again. I felt cold most of the time.

Very beautiful but the baths were not at all hot. Tepid at best. Ranging from 34-38 celsius. Granted, I am used to actual hot spring bath houses where it’s closer to 45-50. The lockers also didn’t work and the staff was very unfriendly. They seemed to be bothered by questions. Also, doesn’t compared to the houses at Baden Baden. There the workers were so friendly and kind and eager to help & you pay 18€ for baths only and get many saunas, spas, and several indoor / outdoor pools including a brine shower and they range from 34-50 degrees and they have blow dryers for your hair and larger changing stations. Here you pay 15€ for bath only and get just 2 pools and neither are hot and there are no blow dryers for your hair so you either have to bring your own or leave with wet hair. While it was absolutely beautiful, it was not at all what I was expecting.
The 19th-century Hohenzollern Castle, atop a mountain and surrounded by turrets, houses an impressive art collection and the crown of the Prussian king. The castle belonged to the powerful Hohenzollern House of Prussia. Its grandeur is evident from miles away, with a massive silhouette that astounds visitors. Preserved interior decor allows guests to experience the opulence and elegance of old Prussia.
The fort is amazing, I've never seen anything like it! It's massive and breathtaking! The interior and the furniture inside are mostly preserved, so you can experience the old Prussian luxury and elegance. There are also endless passages and staircases, the royal treasury is a must-see, and the bastion with a collection of weapons would be interesting to any history buff. And the photos don't do it justice, you won't be prepared for the magnificent view and the gigantic castle. Definitely worth the visit, you won't regret it!

Be prepared for a lot of stairs at a steep incline. There is a shuttle bus, but it fills up. Parking was easy. Purchase tickets ahead of time online. Plenty of food, drink and ice cream options. Beautiful view.

Nice castle especially during Christmas time! Everything is decorated and so the interior is very very nice!
I found the ticket service a little bit confusing. If you want to buy your tickets online (I recommend it because it's cheaper) you have to buy a voucher first. Then you take the voucher and the long code on it and book a time slot. You must enter during this time slot (1 hour), but you can stay as long as you wish.
I think the price (23€/adult online price) is a little bit high. You will visit the courtyard, during the Christmas time there's a little food market where you can spend money as well, and the interior rooms.
You have to park your car at the carpark downhill. Then there's a shuttle bus or you can walk (about 10 minutes from the parking number 1). Parking was free.
Sabrina S. — Google review
Pretty Beautiful. Be aware to buy the tickets early enough online. We did it on arrival and paid 22€/adult instead of 10€. The castle itself is in very good shape. You find toilets, snacks and a restaurant. The tours are on a free app. So better bring your headphones to listen to it. If you have a ticket, the shuttle bus is for free.

On the way to the castle, seeing its silhouette in the distance was amazing, then actually being next to it was even better.
At the time of my visit, there was still some construction work going on, so we were only able to walk around the courtyard and along the walls, and could only enter the 2 chapels.
I would've loved to explore the entire inside of the castle, but regardless, it was still great.

An amazing piece of local history. Even though there is significant construction/restoration happening, a lot of the Castle is still open. The views looking out over the various valleys are amazing and stunning. Take your time and enjoy the views!!
Having lunch or dinner at the restaurant within the Castle will not be a mistake. The food is beyond excellent!!
Both gift shops are well stocked and have some slightly different items so be sure to visit both!!

Now this is a proper castle! Very beautiful, really impressive views. Worth the money! Restaurant on site is a little bit pricey (not a surprise) but food and drinks were alright.

Very pretty place.
Parking is done like 2km before the castle and you take the bus to get up.
When you have arrived and checked in you are free to walk around the castles exterior and to some extent, the interior and the treasury.

The castle is a very well structured and designed building, with very beautiful and elegant furniture layout and features from royal families that once used to live in the castle. The location of the Hohenzollen Castle is absolutely phenomenal, as you can see it from the motorway, the city, and many other parts of Germany, which shows just how high the castle was built. It was such a great experience.

You buy your tickets down below and then there is a bus that can take you up there and it will bring you back. You can walk up there but it's like a half an hour to 45 minute hike up and back. I do let you in at a time stamp on your ticket so it's not overcrowded inside you download an app that walks you through the audio guide of the castle. Kind of interesting because you can go back if you want and listen to something else you can stop it. Quite unique and the castle is very interesting. There is a cafe and the premises where you can have lunch or dinner. There's an ice cream stand

The castle is beautiful and ancient, it is worth visiting. The entrance fee is expensive, it takes less than an hour to visit the castle so you don’t need much time for that. The staff are nice and helpful.

The place where the castle is located is amazing! You can appreciate the castle from the road before arriving and the view from the top of the walls is breathtaking. You can visit a few rooms as well as two chapels. Unfortunately, a lot of parts of the castle are not open for visitors.
There is a project to help kids at the café on the second floor. It's a cosy place where you can have a few drinks and pie free of charge but you can make a donation for helping the project. There are spaces for kids next to the cafe as well.
Try to go when the place is not crowded so you can appreciate the rooms better.

Was able to see several spaces of the castle. Bring at night there was a Christmas light show going on - children really enjoyed it.
The decorations didn't take away from the experience but rather enhanced it. The snow made for a beautiful touch.

Beautiful castle! Be sure to check out the events calendar before planning
I managed to be in area during a special event which had extra rooms open to the public, otherwise I've been told it was underwhelming by other travelers I've met
I really enjoyed going, there was entertainment on site - staff dressed in period costumes, making "stick bread" over a fire, a bubble master & fire hose throwing
The staff was very friendly and the shuttle bus was really helpful
There are trails in the area that you can walk and the views from the top is very impressive

This place did not disappoint at all! Beautiful and the rooms are set up as they were when being used. One of the best places we visited.
The Christmas market set up was amazing too. It really was so much better than the real markets...we went to Munich markets and it was a nightmare. This place was so lovely and had the Christmas spirit!!! We WILL be back one day!!!
Tip: try not to get the last spot opening. We did and everything was shutting down. We had to rush through everything. If I could change it, I would have come around 4pm (1600). We came at 7pm and it wasn't enough time.

Beautiful place, incredible castle, gorgeous views both up there and from the castle itself to the surrounding area. There can be strong winds at the top and getting up to the castle on foot for young children can be a challenge, but it's well worth the visit. If you book tickets in advance, you will have access to the upper parking lot, which is a smaller walk up to the castle. There is also a shuttle bus.
A show of soap bubbles in the courtyard of the castle, with lighting and music did not leave indifferent neither children nor adults. There was also a night light show on the castle walls.
Very much liked the interiors of the rooms, the wind whistling in the windows, the atmosphere, which is well preserved.

This castle was beautiful. Well organized tour. Went on a weekend, but being winter, it wasn't too busy. I had purchased tickets online for a later time, but they still allowed us entry. There is a shuttle bus from the main parking area. The parking is included in the ticket price. An audio guide is available with the ticket. Make sure to bring headphones. We forgot to bring ours.

After a solo tour of Schloss Lichtenstein, we arrived at Burg Hohenzollern to find that they're in full Christmas Markets season. The place was crowded and lively and quite busy.
You'll park in a lower parking lot adjacent to the gift shop. A shuttle van will bring you almost to the entrance of the castle. From there, it's a bit of a walk. It is barely handicapped accessible though the castle itself is not at all wheelchair friendly and many rooms require transiting a number of stairs.
The current castle was built between 1846 and 1867 in a Gothic Revival style and influenced by the Châteaux of the Loire Valley. The exterior is regal, dominating the hill it resides on. Inside, each room is decorated with period furniture and artifacts that were owned by Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia. The vault in the basement contains the Crown of Wilhelm II and a uniform that belonged to King Frederick the Great. No photographs allowed in that room but the rest of the castle, absolutely.

Renaissance chateau owned by Hohenzollern family, built on a 1200 castle. Visit by guided tour.

A Castle, hidden by town and trees, on a small Hill atop the young River Donau. Its Almosen Bagger inside, than it appears from the outside.
Over 400 rooms, some of which you can be shown to you.
The cellar holds a vast collection of medieval to 18th century weapons.
The whole castle is in pristine condition and you can fully enjoy a tour through the ages and the family story of one of the great and influential houses of central Europe.
The place is very romantic, and wonderfully cool in summer.

A very chic castle. We came here for the second time. The chic interiors of the castle are simply amazing. Great collection of weapons. But most of all I liked that in the castle you can listen to the guide in several languages. You choose your language on a small phone given to you at the box office and listen to it as you walk through the halls. Very comfortably! No one interferes with anyone and everything is clear. I am delighted. It is very comfortable. Other castles and museums should follow the example of Singmaringen Castle. Thank you.

More of a palace than a castle, this is still an impressively large and imposing building that makes for good photos (though you need to cross the river to get the classic picture of it). The tour was via audioguide. I parked in town and had a short walk there, but it was relatively easy to get to. Less impressive than Burg Hohenzollern, but still worth your time.
Brian Planchard — Google review
This was the favorite of the three large castles in this region. Recommend one to three hours to tour the castle, listen to the audio guide, and explore this cramped town and cross the river for the picturesque view of the castle from the other side
Parking: reasonably priced parking lots with easy access near the train station.
Tour: included with your ticket is a real produced audio guide, providing you extensive background and information on each of the rooms that you visit. The audio guide tour provides information on both the rooms you're visiting and the royal family members who once lived here.
Unlike some of the other castles in the region You get to see the majority of the castle which is very well maintained

I visited more then 100 castles, but this castle is one of the biggest and richest I have seen in my live. You can take audio guide & buy castle vine or liqueur in the end of tour. You need around 3-4 hours to see everything inside. Highly recommended to visit this place.

Sigmaringen Castle is a stunning Gothic Revival castle that dominates the skyline of the town of Sigmaringen in Germany. It was the princely castle and seat of government for the Princes of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen for centuries. The castle is beautifully preserved and offers visitors a glimpse into the lives of the Hohenzollern family.
The castle is divided into two parts: the Old Castle and the New Castle. The Old Castle was built in the 12th century and is the oldest part of the complex. It houses a number of historical artifacts, including a collection of armor and weapons, a library, and a chapel. The New Castle was built in the 17th century and is more lavishly decorated. It features a number of state rooms, a ballroom, and a theater.
One of the best things about Sigmaringen Castle is its location. It sits on a cliff overlooking the Danube River, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The castle is also surrounded by a beautiful park, making it a perfect place for a leisurely stroll.
If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable travel experience, I highly recommend visiting Sigmaringen Castle. It's a truly magical place that will transport you back in time.

Great opportunity to see bears, wolves and lynxes in their natural environment. Particularly liked that we could observe the animals as they were and no exhibitions were put on. I love this place!

October 2022 :
As a first time visitor and having observed bears and wolves in their natural habitat in the USA I was very pleasantly surprised with the complete sanctuary for these utterly beautiful creatures! ❤️👌🐻🐺 They have lots of outdoor space, set amidst the nature of the Black Forest; a river running through etc.
Of course one may say such animals do not belong in captivity which is correct. However, let's not forget these animals here were "rescued" and have been given the very best 2nd home they can get!
Many thanks to everyone for taking such good care of our natural beauties! ❤️
I highly recommend visiting this sanctuary and please be so kind to make a donation.

Great place to enjoy some peace and quiet since you are not allowed to be loud. The history on the bears was sad based on how they were treated prior to being brought to the park. Didn't see any wolves but quite a few of the bears. They mostly hung out in the shade since it was quite warm that day. Got to see them play in the water, so quite cool. Dinging one star because it was expensive but i understand they need to take care of the animals.

That was a great experience. Wolves, Bears and Lynxes in their natural environment. It was a feast for the eyes to see them like that. I took three buses to get here from Baden Baden and it was totally worth it! I wasn’t sure we’d see anything considering it’s not a zoo but we were surprised. We saw all the animals including the elusive lynx.
It was interesting (and heartbreaking) to find out about the animals’ backstory and how they came to the park.
Highly recommended.
One thing to bear (pun intended) in mind is that the ticket desk didn’t accept Visa but did accept other cards. Might be worth bringing cash, just in case.
There’s a little cafe on site with great ice cream.

Recreated Black Forest village farm of 16th-18th centuries, with storehouse, bakery, mills & crafts.
This place was so incredible - authentic buildings that were placed here for preservation. Just the history alone makes it worth it, but the beauty of the museum farm is absolutely exquisite. The day I was there, it was incredibly green. I loved walking from one historic farm building to the next and seeing how people lived and worked hundreds of years ago. This place is definitely a must see!

Normally closed today, but our tour group had prearranged to have dome access. We were given the opportunity to explore two of the homes that are very well preserved, and our guide did a great job with the farm operation and history. They gave us a hot lunch and accessed the cuckoo shop where we had two short presentations on carving and movements. A very good day considering the rain.

It is a beautiful place with lots of information all over, plus free guides at certain hours. There are also lots of workshops showing everything from washing laundry, to pottery, cooking and more. The interactions with the workshop staff are friendly and informative.
There is lot of parking. Visiting the museum, one gets a price reduction to parking.

We visited as part of our Family German Road Trip and the place was charming. The exhibits are fascinating, with different time periods for various additions and growth of the original farm. If you’ve been to Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia, US, it has a similar vibe with “history come to life”. The playground is exceptionally large for kids, bathrooms clean and food kiosk with tasty options. Well worth a 1/2 day visit.

Another super cool stop. This place shows off how people of the way way back in Germany and in the Black Forest would have lived. How their houses and farms were set up and how their roles played into daily life. They also have transported other old homes to the land and transplanted them to the grounds to show off many different types of houses to preserve German history. The Black Forest ham on site is so good. Surprise as an American seeing the ham is cured and not lunch meat like I’m used to and that the cake has alcohol in it, but worth the try for sure. This is a must stop.

For 2 adults and 2 kids 33 Euro and Parking 4 Euro per day. For dog also they charged 0.50 cents. If you are visiting Black Forest area then worth visiting. It’s roughy you can spend 2 to 3 hr.

The open-air museum left a profound impression. The beautiful atmosphere allows you to immerse yourself in a past you've never seen before. Solemar Thermal Baths are fantastic, the highest salt baths in Europe with the water always 33 degrees, whether indoor or outdoor. A few hours in the salt baths has a real rejuvenating effect on the body.
This was our second visit and we stay in the Womo Stellplaz next door. We had intended to stay a few days to take in the thermal baths and the town so when we arrived on May 5th to discover a special offer that was a treat. For a three night stay, including electric hook up and a daily 3 hour visit to the baths the price of €17 per day was amazing value.

Nice big pools, temperature was great, free parking, excellent and clean facilities. But unhappy staff and way too overcrowded - there seems to be 0 control as to how many people are let in. We were like sardines & chairs were blocked by the towels of people who were IN the pool! Please go check out the Therme in Thonon les Bains, France & you will understand why your massage- Düsen are actually quite unpleasant - the air coming from underneath and so strong is not nice at all. If it was coming from the side / from the walls - that would have been a different story. 3* cos I loved the Salzgrotte, which is amazing!

READ THIS COMMENT BEFORE YOU GO!!!
My wife and I decided to go to this “Therme” after reading online on their website what they are offering and seeing the pictures.
After getting there it was NOT at all what they advertised. When I go to a Therme I want to enjoy HOT natural water, NOT high cold chlorine water which I can go to a regular hotel. They actually had the water advertised “1 degree” cooler because of “electric” being expensive. I believe every customer pays for a service and we would rather pay higher or the price they advertise to enjoy and experience something I expect from them. The large pool that said was 34 degrees was not more than 29-30, I went talked to the personnel and he agreed the water is heated and not more than that. Which is when we decided that neither of the pools were hot only barley warm to go get out and talk with the front desk about the situation. After talking with the personnel why the water is so cool with only one pool salted and rest was high in chlorine which was really disappointing and not what “natural Therme” are we asked them to refund us are money and to leave. We only stayed 15 min and paid for a full day, they did not want to give us anything back and kept arguing why the water is so cold because the electricity and they won’t do anything.
This is called being “thieves” and showing very poor customer service!!!
I would never recommend and quite the contrary tell other NOT to go here. There are SO MANY other beautiful THERME in the area within distance that would offer so much more and actually care about their customers.

I was on holiday in germany for two weeks and I visited this pool twice. I would have happily visited more times if it was closer to the town I stayed in. This is a beautiful pool. With the indoor and outdoor areas, jets, lazy river, showers and bubbles, there is plenty to do. I had never been in a salt bath before. The salt water soothed my dry skin. It's like a full-body spa. I usually need to moisturise after showering, but I didn't have to after this. It's so easy to float and relax, especially in the indoor hot pool. I could live there. The food is great too, and reasonably priced. Drinks are a bit expensive, but they always are in germany. I would definitely recommend visiting.

I go there at least once a year, absolutely love it.
This place is NOT suitable for children, but that never stops parents from taking the entire family there, but would never blame Solemar for this, just for information.
All but one of the pools and other spa attraction are based on high concentration of salt water.
It features multiple pools of various concentrations of salt water (all of them heated), steam bath and sauna (very nice, but not fully Finnish style sauna).
Excellent selection of handmade clocks from the 9 renowned Black Forest clock making families. Pricing is great and the service can’t be beat. They also ship worldwide. If you’re shopping for a clock, this place is a must see.

Mom wanted a cuckoo clock from the black forest. The one she picked.
Old and new clocks. Modern and vintage clocks. You can add your own little custom decorations to your clocks.
Friendly, informative staff. Protection on shipping and good service/warranty protocols.
Looks like they host workshops there, too.

Such a nice place! It's definitely worth to visit if you are passing the place and don't even want to buy any clocks. They also have some other local products - honey, wine, drinks, sausages, jam etc.

Great variety of clocks in all ranges. Good and warm staff. Should be a sure stop in case you are looking for a cuckoo clock.

Plenty of options for clocks that run the whole spectrum of styles, qualities, and prices. Yes, the place is a tourist trap, but if you are in the market for a Black Forest clock, you've already fallen for doing the touristy thing anyway. The location is beautiful and the building is decorated in a really fun manner. The staff were very pleasant and this was one of the few places in Germany that we weren't kicked out a few minutes prior to the advertised closing time.
*Note for VAT* The staff at this store are familiar with the VAT forms issues to US citizens, but more importantly when we realized that we did not have any unused forms on us, they gave us the mailing address and a receipt to include with the form in the mail. It took a while to get the form back but it ended up working out for us. For that we are grateful.

So weird, yet so fun. They have so much stuff but it’s all just so typical. Definitely a tourist attraction, but so unique in it’s own way. Definitely worth a visit!

This is one of the biggest clock shops I have been to. It’s just off the main road and is a great spot to stop and check out some of the local clocks. It’s got everything you could ever think you would need. Battery operated clocks to ones that need to be adjusted weekly or monthly. The staff are really friendly and even explained shipping and tax return processes.

Large shop with tons of items to pick from. The owners were amazing and let us ship items we purchased at the store home. We also shipped items previously purchased and this really helped at the airport. Great store with super nice people.

This is the place to go if you're in the market for an authentic cuckoo clock in the black forest. The building itself is quirky and fun, and the place is stuffed wall to wall with traditional and more kitsch masterpieces. The owners are friendly and attentive and can answer any questions. Touristic, but definitely worth the stop.

Niederburg is a charming town in Germany where you can unwind at its delightful boutiques, shops, wine caves, and coffee houses. Remarkably, the town escaped the destruction of World War II, leaving its historic buildings intact. The old city boasts a wealth of architectural wonders and historical significance waiting to be explored.
Konstanz Port is a remarkable site that provides visitors with the opportunity to explore both tranquil and exciting experiences. With serene spaces to unwind while admiring the stunning view, coffee shops for a hot beverage, and restaurants for a peaceful meal, there is something for everyone. The old lake port is fascinating, particularly its unique solution to cope with water level changes. Although lacking a high-quality cafe to appreciate the scenery comfortably, it's an excellent place for leisurely sightseeing.

The tourist attraction SEA LIFE Konstanz is a place where different kinds of aquatic animals from around the world are housed in five pools. These pools simulate their natural habitats, giving visitors an opportunity to see some of the top creatures in the world up close.
Great place with small kids. Lot of interactive toys, and places to crawl into. I really enjoyed the area with the penguins. It's well done. Also nicely done the area with the local fishes, it helps the kids to see what is there in the lake. Unfortunately some toys were not available due to Covid regulations.
But altogether great place to spend a couple of hours.

They have limited collection of fishes, but what ever they have they maintaining it really well.
It won’t take more than 1-2 hours to cover the whole place. Ticket price is too high and this place doesn’t worth the ticket cost.

It’s a short but beautiful experience. They also let you touch some of the creatures which is very fun. Also I’ve seen a fish that looks like it has glitter on it’s scales which i thought was pretty awesome

SEA LIFE hosts quite number of species from all around the world 🌍 More room would be nice because the experience is getting harder when the ground is crowded. Buying tickets in advance is advised as it regulates the hours. Overall, it would be a nice experience for you and your family.

Always worth a visit. Plan about 2 hours to see all exhibitions. There is a water tunnel to see sharks and giant turtles. Parking available at the Lago.

It was actually much better than I had hoped. Neither sharks nor penguins fit to what I imagine lives in Bodensee. 🙂
However both children enjoyed it, not only aquariums but also the interactive part. And it was not boring to me either.

A wonderful place where children or adults can see different species of fish from around the world, bonus sharks or penguins at the end of the tour. Upstairs there is also an exhibition of stuffed wild animals, beautifully arranged and with a detailed description. A bit exaggerated ticket prices which will be purchased online. The parking was somewhere at 4E for four hours inside the complex. I was also in the summer in the port area, absolutely gorgeous, full of tourists but now in the winter a bit too quiet.

The place has good access to public transport. Friendly staff. worth visiting if you love the underwater world. People spend 2-3 hour depending on average.
Preethi — Google review
Overall I enjoyed my visit, but there were a couple inconveniences that don't let me give it 5 stars.
I know maintaining such a place is a massive undertaking, but 20€ feels expensive. Had it been cheaper, I would visit it again sometime.
The underwater tunnel wasn't optimally maintained, the glass is very, very scratched, and some parts had a layer of dirt/dust.
The penguins were acting strange, stuck to the display glass. I felt sad for them, it was an anomalous behavior, and made obvious that they don't belong there.
On the good side, it was nicely decorated. The nature museum was a bit underwhelming, but I felt the passion put into the still animals, interacting with each other and their environment. Explore it thoroughly, my favorite part of it was hidden!
It took me slightly less than 1h30min to visit it alone. If you can afford it, I'd recommend checking it out at least once.

It's really nice and informative place for all to visit. Some staff is really good, who gives you all information about sea creatures. Best experience with nature. The old lady at the exit door haven't good behavior with children.

Went with husband and 2 kids (4 and 2 years old), we were excited as it just reopened 2 days ago. However the fish on display are limited and within 45 minutes you are at the exit. Expected a bigger variety for the prices (60 Euros for the family) they charge.
Eva Yanambakam — Google review
This is one of the better Sea life parks. You will need to purchase tickets online and reserve a time slot. The slot can be moved up to five times, which we had to do, since our connection was late.
The experience was great - kids loved all the large aquariums and these fishes.
The location is very convenient if you arrive via ship in the harbour - just a short walk across.
Be aware that the ferry harbor is far outside and you will need to take the bus.
Guido Oswald — Google review
Its a very entertaining place for all age groups. I got to rxperience a huge variety of sea creatures from upfront. Small sharks to huge stingrays, it was really reasly good. The brst part of sealife was the penguins, its so beauuuutiful to see them upfront. I loved every bit of it.
Dee K — Google review
The experience overall was underwhelming. Although the queue was short and the staff were nice, it felt very unorganized and messy.
Too many people and not enough space/staff to organize. The aquarium praises itself with a big variety of animals, but you won’t need more than 45 minutes to look at everything😬.
Only interesting for young children.
Additionally the animals didn’t seem to have a lot of space and seemed distressed by the huge amount of people.
Would not recommend; too overpriced and not well maintained.

Sea Life is a serene haven for anyone fascinated by the mysteries of the sea. Whether you're a marine biology enthusiast or a family looking for an educational outing, this harbor provides a harmonious blend of entertainment and enlightenment. I highly recommend Sea Life for a day filled with awe, wonder, and a newfound love for our marine neighbors.
Jonathan Kigozi — Google review
It's much smaller in the inside than it looks from the outside. There are aquarium sets I really liked, such as the sunken ship but it is quite a short visit and for the efty price, it's definitely not a good quality/price ratio. There are much nicer, bigger, modern aquariums which are cheaper. I understand its situation probably doesn't make it ideal but this place cannot compete with other aquariums I've visited. Simple.

I paid 22€ for only 20 mins.
If the price is 11€, it's fair enough.
One of Germany's highest waterfalls, accessed by hiking trail, plus shop & café at the bottom.
We visited in October and it was a breathtaking walk. My children loved the playground before and after we took the shortest trek up to the falls. There are restrooms at the entrance. We would love to visit again.

I highly recommend going now during the fall when the leaves are changing colors. It is absolutely stunning. There are three parking areas, two small ones at the top and the middle…with the largest at the bottom. If you want a good hike up to get the blood flowing, park at the bottom. Parking is inexpensive. Bring coins.

This waterfall I found pretty nice and not too stressful to navigate. There’s a ticket to be purchased before or at the entrance , I like that there’s various angles to view the fall and also that they have provided Benches and rest areas for people who need to take a break from all the climbing and walking. It is located in a beautiful town and is a must visit ! Loved it

I have been here a couple of times and really enjoy this beautiful town in black forest. The waterfall itself is the main attraction in the town. It's definitely worth the visit once but, the charm of the town is something else. A bus goes from Triberg station to the market area from where, you need to walk around 200 meters to reach the entrance. Check the DB app for transport information as Google maps doesn't show the bus information (at least this was the case for me, every time I visited).

This place is good to spend your evening with or without family. Its not that tough hike. There are two ways if you wish to complete the hike, one is simple way they have made who is not in mood to go breathless and other one is steep where you can shred some fats. But both the ways are not tough at all. It is worth to see this waterfall not only in summer but in winter. Since we were students we got the ticket in 7.5 € per person otherwise it is 8€ for adult. There are benches at all the level and bridge where you can stop by and relax and enjoy the view. Inside there are no counters to buy food but you can bring ur drink n food if you wish. Outside of waterfall you have lot many restaurants where you can enjoy. Its kinda tourist place so you will find international people as well. Overall it's good place to visit once at least to chill and relax.

After a long trek it's very pleasant feeling to see waterfalls, here there are several ways to trek, we can go up or down and vice versa and also different routes for going up for path finders. We have to take a ticket at the entry anyway. We will get a nice view if we see it from very bottom.

Pretty outstanding. Very accessible on paved walking paths, is it a little pricey at 7 Euros per person for access to a short hike up the trail, yes, but you are here for the experience not the low cost.

A lovely place to go in summer as the water spray is cooling. At first the climb is relatively steep, but after that it winds gently through the woods. There are apparently red squirrels although I saw none, and I paddled in the higher pools in the ice cold water, which is also very welcome in the summer heat. Triberg itself is pretty, scenic and worth seeing.
Philippa L — Google review
Great day out. Entry fee of €6 I think, cash only, ATM on site but it charges €3. Need to wear hard hats, plenty of antibac wipes if needed. Route is well designed, you don't need the strongest of calf muscles but there are a lot of steps. There is a round route walk you can take once at the top of the waterfall route taking you through a forest (a long steep incline), then open countryside to a chapel, and finally down a woodland path. Route takes about 3 and half hours at a steady pace (I'm not a fast walker). The chapel has fresh running water to drink outside.

Due to winter season we were only able to do partial way that coated about 6/7 euro each.. we went in like 10min hiking for someone short,, for tall and those who hike that was about 5-7min walk.. still the waterfall was really nice and was not disappointed.. definitely would be more worth it in the summer..

My second time here. And it's just as stunning as I remember it. And made even better by the presence of the quaint little cafe at the bottom right on the river, with good food, fair prices.

Also, had fun feeding the squirrels in the woods.
Although we expected more from the nightly light effects..

Beautiful waterfall with a well laid out series of paths to walk the height of the falls, taking in various views of the fast flowing water. Fairly tame red squirrel in abundance alongside other fauna.
Beware whilst these are good quality pavement-like paths they are, by necessity, very, very steep in parts!

Gorgeous place. The green moss surrounding the waterfall makes me think at prehistoric times. I expect dinosaurs to pop out from behind the trees. The waterfall is not busy at all in winter but you might not be able to go all the way up due to ice and snow. The entrance is only 6 euro and it includes the Black Forest museum and the Triberg Fantasy.

The Triberg Waterfalls in Germany's Black Forest are a captivating natural spectacle, cascading over seven tiers and dropping a total of 163 meters. The rush of water, surrounded by lush greenery, creates an immersive experience for visitors.
Trails winding through the forest provide various viewpoints, offering different perspectives of the falls. The sound of the roaring water and the mist in the air add to the enchantment of the surroundings.
Accessible to all, these falls offer a serene escape and an opportunity to immerse yourself in the raw beauty of nature. Whether seeking adventure or tranquility, the Triberg Waterfalls provide an awe-inspiring encounter with one of Germany's natural treasures.

The landscape of this area which is on the hill it’s absolutely fantastic. I receive very good energy from here, I also mouved up and down. For visiting the entire place which I hardly recommended.

I am so glad we went. If you park at the parking garage in town, the waterfalls are only a short walk up the hill. There is an entrance fee (about 8€ for grown ups) but it also includes the entrance fee to the Black Forest Museum and entrance to Triberg Fantasy. Make sure to hang on to the receipt!
There are two ways to see the falls. One easy way and one strenuous. We are both middle-aged, out of shape people, and we did the strenuous walk, no problem. There is so much to see that you will catch enough breaks. There are also different levels you can walk. Several bridges crossing the falls, giving you the chance to end your walk and walk back to the entrance. It is beautiful, and the shade is great in the summer heat.

Absolutely beautiful! It was raining so hard but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the scenery.

Tranquil spring next to a palace, considered by some to be the birthplace of the Danube River.
This is a not so overcrowded place, showing the source of the river Danube with a symbolic fountain. A big map is at the stairs, you can see the countries, Danube is going thru, up to the Black sea. Worth visiting for a stop if you are in the region. Downtown and a church are next to this memorial place. (There is a free parking place 300meters from the place.)

Rheinquelle

To be honest, I'm disappointed in the source. A kind of well in the ground from which air bubbles rise. From my point of view, it doesn't have much to do with a source of clear water that comes out of the rocks/soil. I much prefer to go to a real source in the Swiss mountains, e.g. Rheinquelle

When I was living in Budapest near to the Danube I wanted to know where the source of the river is. After some research on the net I found that it is one of them. This source - surrounded by some nice architectures - is a good place to visit.

In beautiful Donaueschingen we had some hard times to find this out. We finally found the source next to the old castle, enclosed in a pretty stone basin. The water in the basin looks so crystal clear and inviting… and has a constant temperature of around 8 degrees. So you better look for a warmer spot to swim! But if you need a bit of luck for your upcoming travels, you are at the right spot. Turn your back to the water, take your left hand and throw a coin over your right shoulder into the water! Lucky times, here we come!
You smart reader, you wonder how a source can appear out of nowhere in the middle of a city, right? The Danube source is a karst spring, the end of a water-filled cave system. This spring is seen as the river’s historic source. However, the Danube river only comes alive officially where the Danube stream (starting in this source) meets the Brigach and Breg rivers.
In Donaueschingen we were told that the Danube is the only river in the world flowing through four capital cities. We followed it all the way and found out: they said the truth!

An almost mystic place,
where in silence the bubble come up
through the crystal clear water
to anounce:
Here something new is beginning
There is also a great multimedia screen, giving background information on the history of the place. It is funny, to think that the basic decision "This is it! This is, where the river begins!" goes back to Roman times, and, although occasionally contested, has made it all the way to us.

A very quiet place, in a traditional german village, the Danube river spring awaits the visitors. It's not as you expect, the water cames out into a fountain first. This symbolic source of the Danube is a very beautiful place. Springs emerge from the depths of the well, surrounded by a rotunda. Very interesting and uplifting. Although the source of the Danube is considered the confluence of two rivers, and the rotunda is located a little higher and to the side, this does not prevent us from accepting that the huge European Danube River originates in this spring in the Black Forest.
Виктория Зайцева — Google review
I came here because of Germany's summer 2022 train special: ride regional lines as much as you like for the month. The Black Forest line between Donaueschingen and Freiburg is said to be outstanding, and, so I found myself here, peering at this blue green well.
IF you have a deep interest in the Danube, then this is a natural spot to round out your experiences. It's beautiful, it's curious and odd, it's in Atlas Obscura.
But I was hoping to round out my experience with... anything. The massive and remarkable royal gardens next door are private (you get a peek of them from the upstairs area by the church). They are part of the massive and incredible Schloss which is also private, owned for centuries by the Serene Highness Prince Heinrich family and still lived in today. This is NOT the start of a day-long town visit, nor an immersion in history, nor an appreciation of the efforts of the princes and royalty who maintain it.
This is a well. A pretty well, with statuary from the 1800s, in a small town at the edge of the Black Forest. A town that seems uninterested to entertain visitors who stumble through.
Go if you've got a connection to the river; but set your expectations.

An awe-inspiring experience. This remarkable natural phenomenon, where the mighty Danube River originates, left me in utter wonder and amazement. As I stood before the source of the Danube, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of awe. The crystal-clear water bubbling up from the earth was a mesmerizing sight, and knowing that this tiny spring would eventually become one of Europe's most iconic rivers filled me with a sense of reverence for the natural world. The surrounding area, with its lush greenery and serene atmosphere, added to the enchantment of the visit. The well-maintained walking paths and informative signage allowed me to explore the vicinity at my own pace, taking in the beauty of the landscape and the historical significance of this site. The Donauquelle's cultural and historical importance was evident throughout my visit. The accessibility and thoughtful amenities provided for visitors, including seating areas and photo opportunities, made the experience all the more enjoyable. It's clear that the site's management is dedicated to ensuring that guests have a memorable and comfortable visit. In conclusion, the Donauquelle in Donaueschingen is a must-see destination for anyone seeking a connection with nature and history. It's a place of quiet beauty and contemplation, where the journey of one of Europe's greatest rivers begins. I left with a sense of wonder and gratitude for having witnessed such a remarkable natural phenomenon. A resounding five stars!

It’s a very rewarding hike for how easy it is! There isn’t a lot of elevation and we did see many families with kids and even dogs, but at the same time it’s an exciting trail, very naturey, beautiful views, cliffs surrounding you and several waterfalls. It’s not a strenuous trail but I would definitely recommend hiking shoes as it can be VERY slippery and the terrain is quite uneven.

The Wutach River is a great stage for hikes and offers beautiful scenery for the eyes. Make sure to select a hike that follows the river closely to avoid public roads (I dislike asphalt during hikes and if you're not careful you can spend a lot of time on these in this area), this will allow you to make the most of the wonderful flora in the area. Don't forget to dress properly (good hiking shoes of category B at least are especially welcome) and bring enough water, as some of the hikes can be quite challenging.

Beautiful place with great hiking options. Unfortunately it is usually quite busy and some hikers seem to not respect nature as you see here and there trash laying on the ground.
Please guy's when you go for a walk or hike in nature make sure you leave everything as it should be and don't litter. This ensures that our kids and grand kids can enjoy lovely places like the Wutachschlucht.

Excellent hike! We started at Schattenmuhle parking lot and followed the trail and signs to Wutachmuhle that traverses the length of the gorge. This direction is also easier as the elevation descends. Once at the end, we grabbed a small bite while waiting for the 7344 bus to take us back to the lot. It took us 4hrs to cover 14km.

The information we found was very confusing and we weren't sure if it's a good idea for our group (ages 5 to 80). We started at Schattenmühle, an entry with information sign.
There are endless paths you can take different lengths and difficulty. It is possible to start with one and continue to another. There is a bus that goes through the parking zones along the gorge so you can enjoy the hike and then take the bus back.
We were planning on doing path number 5, which is an eight km circular one, from Schattenmühle to Lotenbachklamm then to Boll, Tiefentall and back. However, we started at the opposite direction and after 1.4 km we got to the next parking. Since we were a big group with snow walkers we decided to take the bus to Boll (skip about 3km of hiking) and continue from there to ehem. Bad Boll, and back to Schattenmühle. It was great decision. We hiked for 5 km all together, and it took us about 5 hours, coinciding the 5 and 80 years old, the stops we did at the river, we were happy.
The path can be slippery but usually not to difficult to pass. The parts we did were mostly on the shade so it wasn't too hot, and there are real gems alone the way. Bring enough water!
Lovely spa with an age limit 16+ :) makes it an incredibly clean, quiet, and wonderful place to relax and enjoy one's time without screeching kids.
The facility is clean and very well thought out, I really enjoyed my time there. My mom is a regular, so this time on a visit - I finally joined her.
The gym is well equipped, so I was able to complete my training without trouble. The treadmill is somewhat outdated but otherwise no complaints.
My favorite was the salt pool on the rooftop. Apparently, the salt comes from the Dead Sea in Israel. What a lovely time we had floating around, relaxing in the warm pool, while it was snowing a bit on top of us.
Thank you and see you on the next visit!

One of the most confusing spa experiences I’ve ever had. As we were just visiting the area, we had never been there before. First of all, the google maps address leads to a completely different place. Secondly, once we get inside we had no idea what is located where. We just see random old naked people walking back and forth until we realize that right in front of us the wall is actually a sign with arrows and names of the different areas but it is all in a bright green color on a light -wood-brown background that you can barely see. I have to say, the signing and direction placement is quite bad in all the spa area. I guess if you are a local then it does not matter because you have been there more than once. For a newcomer - quite unpleasant. The wood burning sauna is actually great but the seating is always quite hot and don’t try sitting outside of the reach of your towel. We found the other spa guests quite grumpy and rude just because my partner did not feel comfortable taking down her swimsuit with some of the unfit and creepy people staring. The steam sauna is one of the warmest I have been in so extra points for that. The salt-room is also a nice and quite place we found to relax in a more private space. The saltwater rooftop pool is quite nice too but the view is quite like nothing - just like looking at the backyard of lidl. The whole experience of spa for us is to find a place of peace and a bit privacy whereas in this spa it felt there is basically no place to find privacy and calm. For moments in the salt room and the saltpool. But the rest of the area there is always someone somewhere who is looking at you showering or changing clothes etc. As a man I dont care about anyone looking but I do feel for the women in this situation. Overall the interior and feel felt a bit oldish, a bit cheap. And on top, it is a pitty you pay the whole 40.- and it doesnt matter how long you stay - 1 hour or 5 hours. We would have easily left after 1 hour but after such a pricing strategy we decided to try all the areas out. Either way, the spa definitely was not worth the 40 Francs. If you go to a gym and use other services there, then maybe..

Very much enjoyed the wellness area. Visited many times while on long stay work trip. Staff was friendly and respectful. Multiple sauna types and relaxation areas to enjoy. Website is helpful and accurate. The 90C sauna ceremony is incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. Bravo to the staff’s endurance performing these ceremonies multiple times a day! Very nice addition to the experience. The larger than expected cold water bath allows for extended dunking. Textile free and 16+ age requirement makes for more enjoyable experience than some other spa/saunas have visited in Switzerland that did not have this age requirement. As well, the all day access is appreciated with not having to feel rushed by a time limit. Salt pool on rooftop is nice ambiance. Also enjoyed the regular pool with underwater bicycles. Will certainly visit again on future trips.

The Swiss Science Center Technorama is an impressive 3-story facility with over 500 interactive displays centered around various scientific themes. It's a great destination for both children and adults, offering numerous experiments accompanied by detailed explanations in multiple languages including German, French, English and Italian. Additionally, visitors can enjoy live shows featuring electricity demonstrations. With so much to explore, it's recommended to arrive early as a full day is needed to experience everything this indoor attraction has to offer.
One of the best indoor activity in Switzerland. You can spend whole day here. It has 3 floors and lots of experiments. There are lots of experiments in the areas of physics, electricity, liquids, illusions, corks, biology. Its illusion section itself is bigger than an illusion museum.

As you can see in the pictures - there’s no lack of fun and exploration at this place. My brains couldn’t take more than 20 activities and my husband’s neural pathways were overwhelmed by the end of the first level. It’s a place to feel FOMO so be cautious not to overstimulate your cognitive abilities (or inabilities) because you’ll need more bandwidth for the kids later at home 🤭 Most kids would like this. Mine not so much because he has sensory processing disorder. Those with auditory and vision processing challenges might find it overstimulating indoors (both the space, people and activities) so do head out to the musical and multi sensory garden for some much needed downtime.
Wildpark Bruderhaus is a wooded sanctuary and breeding center for rare animals such as lynx, bison, and Przewalski's horses. The Rigi mountain boasts stunning scenic views of the surrounding lakes and is renowned for activities like skiing, sledding, and hiking. It offers a panoramic view of the Swiss Alps and can be accessed via the Golden Round Trip. Visitors to Lucerne should not miss exploring its charismatic old town or visiting the Victorianox Museum to personalize their own Swiss Army Knife.
This mountain is easy to climb. Has good paths to go on and those views are stunning. At top is beautiful and you got nice view over the Alps but it is very touristic as trains come there also. But let it not stop you from walking much more fun and more to see. 1806 meters. Don't forget it's cold at the top or may rain 😉.

Absolutely stunning! I recomend bringing warm clothes even in the summer and checking the weather in advance to see if the visibility is high so that you don’t spend a lot of money to see only clouds. I also think the tickets to visit are a bit too expensive for what is offered. However, it was truly a stunning place to visit, completely worth it. I also recomend exploring other peeks around the top of the Rigi because the views are truly breathtaking! We chose to climb up to one of the peeks that are near the first train stop after the Rigi, it was a harder climb, but totally worth it!

It is stunning, with a backdrop of mountains and punctuated by little towns, villages and settlements along the coastline. The water is pristine and often changes colour.
Better still, if you're heading to the Gotthard Panorama Express, catch the paddle steamer all the way to Fluelen, a trip of about 2.75 hours and the scenery just gets better and better (have your camera ready). If that is what you are doing, then you can book your luggage through to the train at the departure point in Luzern, so you don't have to worry about carrying it on board.

Best place to be visited during all season. Super combination of mountains along with lakes and also boat rides makes it complete package.

Sailed from Lucerne to Flüelen on the Uri, Europe's oldest paddle steamer. The 100 year old boat is in the best possible conditions and offers all amenities with a flair of the grand old times. The panoramic boat ride lasts around 2:45 h, in early October there was a fresh breeze so bring warm cloth if you plan to stay outside. The upper deck is beautifully sunny, but other areas more wind protected. The morning fog soon lifted and views opened, so don't be deterred if the morning looks gloomy. The restaurant serves food and drink, but nobody minds if you bring your own either. Indoors there are information panels and one can watch the steam engine in full action. It looks as shiny and new as it started operations yesterday, not 100 years ago.

We took the train from Zurich to Lucerne. It was a beautiful summer day, and I was wearing my favorite cotton high-top shoes. From Lucerne, we boarded a boat that crossed the lake toward Alpnachstad station. From there, we would take the train up the mountain to the top. Lake Lucerne shimmered in the bright sunlight as we sliced through the crystalline waves. The Lion Monument is a significant tourist attraction in Lucerne, Switzerland. It depicts a lion carved out of natural sandstone rock, which appears to be dying from being impaled by a broken spear. The monument was built to honor Swiss mercenaries who lost their lives while defending King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette during the attack on Tuileries Palace in 1792.
This Monument is a must visit when in Lucerne. There is a nice Cafe there to grab a drink or small meal as well. A quick place to visit.

The Lion Monument was one of the most detailed pieces of rock I've ever seen. It was definitely very moving and sad, yet beautiful at the same time. The Lion Monument is a truly captivating piece of art that embodies deep emotion and historical significance. Carved into the rock face, this monument depicts a dying lion, a powerful symbol of courage and sacrifice. The intricacy of the sculpture's details, from the texture of the lion's fur to the facial expressions, is simply remarkable. The setting, surrounded by a tranquil pond and lush vegetation, adds to the monument's impact, creating a reflective and solemn atmosphere. Visiting the Lion Monument is an experience that evokes contemplation about the past and pays homage to the fallen soldiers it honors.

Magnificent lion sculpture. Extra tip, look carefully and you will see a silhouette of another animal! Have fun spotting it!

Massive monument with an interesting fountain in front of it. Much more enjoyable than how it appears in the picture. Check out the really interesting public bathroom.

It is recommended to come when the light is at an oblique angle. It can be morning or evening. To better capture the details of the monuments carved into the rocks without being too contrasty. The monuments are very large compared to people. The surrounding area has stories to tell. You should take time to sit and relax and remember the origin of creation and the serenity of the place of the departing lion

Only a short walk away from the station, it's well maintained and gives an insight into the history and background of the place. There are benches where you can sit and relax and reflect. No fees for entry and it was not crowded when I visited. Please do read the plaque which is at the left hand side corner which gives the historical background

I love how beautiful this place is and for sure there is a sad story behind it but this memorial is full of emotion. It completely shows the pain of war. Make sure you give yourself time to sit for a minute there. Best visited before or after hours with no so many people, in any case people amount changes minute to minute. There are bathrooms there, benches to sit and it’s a beautiful place in whole.

Simply stunning piece of art or monument.
It’s very simple, and yet could portray a lot of meaning and history.
We visited during the fall, and the surrounding trees and leaves just made it all the more beautiful!

The sculpture on the rock of the cliff of Lion is so beautiful and stunning.
The story around is during the French Revolution. The mournful time just invites to the journey back to past.
The place has a small pond and WC and very much accessible from public transport or by walk from station
The town is pretty small so great to explore it by foot
Also there is a glacier museum nearby

The Lion Monument or the Lion of Lucerne is designed by Bertel Thorvaldsen in 1820. It commemorates the Swiss Guards who were massacred during the French Revolution in 1792. There's no ticket required to access it.

Arrived on a rainy summer morning around 10am and it was already pretty crowded. Parked at the Coop shopping center and walked there, but almost everything in Switzerland is accessible by train and bus. The lion is behind the businesses and catches you by surprise once you find it.

It’s easier to get here via public transit. There are paid parking spots nearby but they may be hard to get as there aren’t that many. The park is rather small and can be visited in short time. It’s a nice stop which can be combined with a walk through the surrounding neighborhood. There is no charge to visit the monument.

Follow the signs to reach. No ticket required.
Large plaza in front for photo taking. Some benches available. Maybe spend 10 to 15 minutes for photo.
Located beside a museum (glacier garden) which is worth a visit. It is included in the Swiss travel pass.
The monument to William Tell, the historic figure of Switzerland by excellence is worth a visit while driving through Altdorf, the Canton Uri's capital. Uri was one of the three original cantons in Switzerland that started the Swiss Confederation or Confoederatio Helvetica, in Latin, from where the CH comes from. The monument is simple with nice paintings that tells William Tells story.

I know this monument gets a hard time within Switzerland, but the Wilhelm Tell story is equivalent to the Robin Hood story.

The Chapel Bridge in Lucerne is a wooden bridge that spans the Reuss River. It is one of the oldest covered bridges in Europe, and it is named after nearby St. Peter's Chapel. The octagonal water tower, built in the early 14th century, is the city's most photographed landmark.
Beautiful place for sightseeing. The old wooden bridge has a sad history but pretty to look at. One can easily roam the entire city and admire the old Town architecture.
The lake has many swans and ducks swimming, it's very cute. Do take a walk in the bridge.

Magnificent bridge with significant historical value to the city, serves as a beautiful backdrop to Lucerne and it has to be walked on to be appreciated. The view from both sides of the bridge as well as on the bridge is simply stunning. It should be on everyone bucket list.

Chapel bridge is one of the most beautiful bridges I've seen. It is spectacular to catch a sunset from the bridge or while looking at the bridge. The flowers are real! There are vivid old wood paintings along the inside of the bridge. I highly recommend visiting.

Luzern is a beautiful city, a combination of modern and old ways of building so this bridge fits perfectly into the environment. The story of him is also very interesting. It's worth a visit.

The oldest bridge in Europe. You can read the historical facts online or follow one of the many walking tours available to grasp its significance.
This bridge provides a different architecture scene compared to its surrounding. Yet it does not seem out of place. Rather, it elevates the scenery as one of the most picturesque in Luzerne.
There are tons of alfresco dining available around the area which allows you to enjoy the scenery while eating and drinking.
Because of its popularity with tours and tourists, this bridge can be very crowded and will be difficult to navigate.

It's gorgeous and it's for free. What's not to like? It's worth noting there are stairs involved so there are some potential accessibility issues if you are not so mobile or have a stroller with you (like we did). Wasn't too busy when we visited (end of winter) but I can see this bridge getting packed with tourists during more popular times.
Laura Maxwell — Google review
We visited world's oldest truss bridge today and happily ticked one item off our bucket list. This bridge restored after a fire in the 90s still has some of the original paintings left in it. It's at the centre of town connecting the two banks and looks wonderful with the water tower beside it.

Iconic landmark of Lucerne. Aside from the incredible lake, it's a must-see, or you have never been to this city. But it's busy, crazy busy, and you need to be patient to get that shot. I wished we had more time to see more sights of this lovely city, maybe another day.

An old wooden bridge which has a historical importance in Switzerland, once it was destroyed and then reconstructed, the bridge is kept clean and the water flowing under is crystal clear, the bridge is decorated with flowers, an important tourist destination almost all tour operators prefer.

Best place to take photos and it’s better to go during evening or night time and it’s walkable distance from Lucerne main station. The scene is best as bridge beautifully ornamented with real trees. There are churches near to this bridge which you might visit.

Close to city center. Simply walk on the bridge and appreciate the views. Also some information given inside the bridge. The entry is free. On the other side there are some restaurants and bars and cafes. They are quite good

Rathaus Stadt Luzern is an impressive Italian Renaissance-style town hall that has been a significant building in Lucerne for centuries. Designed by Anton Isenmann and constructed between 1602 and 1606, it serves as the seat of government. Located along the charming Kornmarkt square, its towering structure and sturdy stone walls can be seen from Chapel Bridge. The landmark also features a beautiful clock tower, adding to its historical significance.
Worth a stop if you're checking out old town.

This bar and restraunt is worth the 5 stars. I ordered the half chicken with fries along with the cheese pie . My brother ordered the pretzel sandwich, half chicken with fries and the large spicy chicken (he was hungry what can I say ha). We both were in heaven . The beers are amazing too. He got a pale ale. I got a sweet beer summer blend . Needless to say we both left with full belies and an amazing time. Would eat here again if I came back to the area.

Mount Pilatus is a prominent mountain peak in Switzerland that boasts of sweeping views, a restaurant, and a hotel accessible through cable cars, gondolas, and railways. It can be reached via the Golden Round Trip which provides an unforgettable experience of the Swiss Alps. Visitors staying in Lucerne can easily commute to Mount Pilatus via public trains or by renting a car from Zurich Airport.
Number 1 attraction in Luzern... 360 view is breathtaking.. you can see all lakes around..
Be careful last gondola is at 16:30...

The views from the top is just breathtaking. So easily reachable from Lucerne town centre. We went up the cable car and down via the steepest tram. Everywhere you look is so awe inspiring. Beautiful!

The visibility can be tricky due to the clouds so I would advise go a little bit later during the day. The cart all the way up (return) was around 70 e per person.
There is a parking near by that cost us 5 euro for 5 hours.
There are restaurants all the way up. We took fries, coke and pretzel for total of 17e
The hill itself has few small hikes around the peak which is great.
It is possible to hike all the way up or down from the peak.

Wonderful place with a fantastic scenery. A lot of short (but steep) trails and beautiful climb up by the cable car. Take the time to visit the area half way up. It provides a different and nice angle.
It is better to take some snacks and drinks with you since the food and drink prices at the shops are as high as the mountain itself.

The views when we went up on the cog-wheel train were absolutely stunning, and I really enjoyed them. But when we reached the top, some clouds came and covered the great views. However, even with the clouds, it was still an amazing experience that I'll remember.

Amazing! All the way up in the cable cars was so breathtaking with the beautiful view of Luzern city, the lake and the mountains with beautiful landscapes, the walking to the peak though it was so windy and cold but it was worth it!! Walking in the cave is also a must!

The view is extraordinary. Worth going if don't mind the high cost of the transportation up to the peak.
The transport is calm a clean and nice view through the entire way (depends the weather)
Not too much activity up there, after 1 hour had enough view and hot chocolate rest.

Stunning views and the freshest air you could dream of! The cow bells can be heard everywhere. We went up in the first car, so it wasn't busy at all. Make sure to bring walking shoes, as the hike up to the top can be a bit daunting.

What an amazing experience. From my travelling experience, what makes Switzerland better than most countries is the infrastructure. You go the most remote locations and you will find trains, trams, buses and shops. Plus, very rarely do you not get phone reception. Amazing experience for a weekend.

The day that we were here was cloudy ☁️
So didn't enjoy the view much.
There were many tourists just like some other mountains in Switzerland.
I was not enjoy much here tho.
I prefer Titlis mountain more than this one.

AMAZING! We went up with the cable car (the train along the mountain is closed in winter). The pictures don't do it justice, it's such a beautiful landscape! If you have the chance, definitely go!

What a treasure! From the ride up, to the stair climb to the top, Mount Pilatus is an experience to have. The crowd didn’t disturb the ability to enjoy our visit and the weather was cold and beautiful!

Beautiful place which provides a perfect start to any swiss journey. View from the top is simply spectacular just like the ride to the top

Mount Pilatus was only white fog for us. There was a tonne of crowd with us waiting for the clouds to go away! But the ride up the gondola and the view is beautiful. The fun thing is that we can get down at any of the stops and hike up or down as per our choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the clouds above, it felt like we were in heaven 😂, everything was blanket white. We hiked down a few kilometres till the last gondola stop. And the walk is steep but very very scenic. If you have the will and stamina, walk down a bit. It’s absolutely beautiful valley and the views are amazing 😍

It is easily accessible from Lucerne with a train. Make sure you have 4-5 hours.
Visit in late summer (with train) and winter(only cable car)
View and experience is different in both rides.

We took the cable car up and cogwheel train down. This way we avoided the big crowd. We also missed the best ferry schedule so we went back to Luzern, visited the museum and then we took a evening cruise to Weggis. It was a perfect day spent in Luzern.
Michael Wang — Google review
It was one of the best trips we’ve had in Switzerland. There are different routes to do it, we chose to go with the boat from Luzern, then the funicular up the mountain and then the gondola and cable car down to Kriens and the bus back to Luzern - it was absolutely brilliant. Took a total of 5 - 5.5 hours from the moment we got on the boat. It is recommended to reserve a time slot for the cogwheel train otherwise you would need to wait more.

Close to Lucerne. Take the gondola first and then the cable car. The views are quite good. The self service restaurant are good not too expensive maybe except the water. There is a small hike further to the peak but it’s not difficult. Went in winter and sometimes the wind can be strong. Worth a visit if titlis is closed

Picturesquare views from the top. Price from Kulm to Pilatus and back was 62 CHF, but it really pays off. I was at the beginning of march, aby 0 degrees on top, and wind. Not crowded, but I expect it is in high season. In Kulm you can find parking, 5 CHF for whole day, so not too expensive. I definitely recommed to visit Pilatus if you are in Switzerland.
Marta Bohonos — Google review
The view from the pick is absolutely stunning! The round trip ticket with the cable car cost 78 CHF. I went on Sunday so the line for taking the gondola was huge. I waited 30-40 min in the line despite the fact that I had an online ticket purchased before.
You should consider 2-3 hours at the peak of the mountain. There are several points to eat, souvenir
and Swiss watches shops and restaurants.
Don't forget to wear comfy clothes and shoes, otherwise it will be difficult to hike.
