Platja del Port de Pollença is a picturesque sandy beach that gently slopes into clear blue waters. It offers stunning views of the nearby mountains and port area. Visitors can enjoy local shops and restaurants, as well as use of public toilets for a small fee. Two sunbeds and a parasol can be rented for 15 for the day, making it an ideal spot to spend a relaxing day soaking up the sun.
Fantastic sandy beach which gently shelves into the water. There's not many places where you can sit on beach with a view of the mountains. Local shops & restaurants are nearby as are toilets (possibly with a small charge to use). Two sunbeds and a parasol cost €15 for the day. A lovely way to spend a day.

I have enjoyed holidays in Puerto Pollensa for over 25 years and look forward to simply lying on the beach near Hotel Bahia, Passeig Vora Mar. However this year the beach was not good, in fact terrible. The sand was full of sharp bricks and many people suffered cuts and bruises, some quite badly. Why? We understand that the winter time clears the beach of sand and it has to be replaced but this years sand could have come out of a builders yard! And it is expensive to book beds and umbrellas. Will you please assure that next year (2020) the sand will be much better.

Beaches
Cala Murta is a secluded sea inlet and swimming area surrounded by cliffs and pine forest that can only be reached by boat or hiking. Located on the road to Formentor, this protected stony cove offers crystal-clear waters where yachts appear to float in the sky. Despite being a popular spot for wild goats and donkeys, it remains an ideal destination for families with children who enjoy kayaking or walking along the narrow pathway leading to Cap Formentor.
Amazing place ! The walk to the beach from the bus stop and back is quite easy and very enjoyable, in the shadow of trees. Saw donkeys and a lot of goats. The nature in the bay is just breathtaking, with crystal clean water of amazing colors ! Seems like a paradise. I also recommend to follow a path to El Castellet to the right of the beach, which in 10 minutes will lead you to gorgeous wide panoramic views over the see.

Little walk to acces the creek from the road to Cap Formentor, ideal to bring the kids. We tried our kayak in the Cala.

Beautiful clear water, rock beach but turns to sand very fast with beautiful fish😊take the 500m hike to right to beautiful view😍
Jesper Raaberg — Google review
Small pebbly beach in a very quiet location, since summer 2018 there is a traffic management rule not allowing cars past Formentor beach from 10am onwards, meaning to get here you have to do a very long walk or drive early. Due to this the beach is extremely quiet and that leads on to some rubbish washing up along the beach and not being cleaned. To get down it’s a 20 minute walk through a decent dirt path. Our experience wasn’t the best due to the weather, however it looked like it’d be amazing in the sun. Snorkelling also seemed pretty good.
Sam Smith — Google review
One of the “hiden” places on the island maybe because you have to walk :). This is only option how to get here or with the boat. The Best way is the bus from Beach Formentor
Daniel Janka — Google review
Nice beach. Not very busy. Luckily no jellyfish when we visited it. The walk to get there is about 20 30 minutes. It's easy to get there.
Marius Amatasoaei — Google review
Stunning. We were prepared to hike around the mountain and down, but after seeing the staircase up the mountain we decided to take the main path from the road. From the bus stop it is easy to walk down and up. We met two friendly donkeys who joined us on the beach. Goats also roam free. I would advise against bringing food. If you do, watch it closely or eat it quickly. The water is magical and full of fish. There were sea urchins on the rocks so be careful. Finally, the cove itself is quiet, relaxing, and gorgeous.
Brian Valentini — Google review
Beautiful, aqua marine sea. Gentle sloped, quiet walk down to the very small cove through shaded pine tree forest. There were only a dozen or so people on the beach when I visited. (Taking the 344 bus from Port Pollenca as cars aren't allowed past Formentor beach during the day after 10am) Definitely worth a visit. Take your own food & drink etc as it's just nature's beauty there.
Amanda Phipps — Google review
Amazing beach. About a 20 minute walk from the roadside but we'll worth it. Stoney beach with a walk to the point that has beautiful views of the rest of the bay.
Jessica Crump — Google review
The main road leading to the starting point of the small hike down to the beach is closed between 10am and 7pm but there is a bus line commuting every 20-30mins between the parking (15€/day) and the Formentor lighthouse. The hike itself is nice and takes about 25mins down to the beach. The beach is rocky, swimming shoes is a must. There is a hiking possibility on both side of the beach with great views. No shops or bars, go prepared.
Stefan Fábik — Google review
Exhilarating and strenuous walk from the stone steps beside the Rocoso tunnel, on the road towards the lighthouse at Far De Formentor, had me loose track and unintentionally arriving at the donkeys stables. There they were, goats as well, just languishing in their secret setting. Never saw the beach. I was worried that I was on private land and tip-toed the hell out of there for fear of being reprimanded for trespassing. Take note. Do not use the steps at Rocoso tunnel. So dangerous and unnecessary?

Centre de turisme ornitològic la Gola is the only birding information center in the Balearic Islands, situated in Port de Pollenca. It offers a great exhibition showcasing the best birding sites on the island, along with maps and leaflets of protected areas. The reserve features diverse habitats such as wetlands, forests, scrubland, and open spaces where visitors can observe a wide variety of birds, plants, and invertebrates.
Interesting and informative displays and very helpful leaflets about Mallorca's wonderful birdwatching sites. A big thank you to Pere for the generously shared knowledge.

The only information centre for birding in the Balearics, located in Port de Pollença, right in the middle of the urban area. Very good exhibition about the best sites for birding on the island, leaflets and maps of the protected areas, and excellent up-to-date information on the last sightings both in the reserve and around Mallorca. The reserve is small but worth visiting with wetland, forest, scrub and open habitats were you can see a good diversity of birds, plants and invertebrates. Highly recommended for a short strall before or after you start or finish your birding day. Also go there to get the latest records and directions, maps and so on. The best birding info centre in Mallorca. OPEN from February to November.

Julian Bueno — Google review
Not so much as a review on the tourist office, but more so on the park. Having last visited here possibly 5 years ago the walkways and bridges have been much improved. In that time the vegetation has also grown, with the site also having been tidied up somewhat. Various information boards are also in evidence about the wildlife that can be seen here, if one happens to see that wildlife I guess that depends on the time of year one visits! However the park does provide a useful function both for the wildlife and a peaceful comfortable stroll from the normal sights and sounds of Port de Pollença. Well worth taking time out for that comfortable stroll.

Abbaco Natural Food & Sushi is a charming and popular restaurant that offers a variety of rice dishes, vegetarian options, and Indian cuisine. They are known for their delicious and high-quality food, although some find it slightly expensive. The menu showcases a fusion of Mediterranean, South American, and Asian flavors, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. Their sushi selection is particularly impressive, alongside other dishes like Peruvian ceviche and organic salads.

First time visiting Pollença and randomly chose a restaurant nearby to fill my tummy. I was very surprised how healthy the meal choices were and very enjoyed the fact that a lot of vegan options were placed too. I personally chose the grilled salmon and tried the detox smoothie. The avocado cream was very good, the Mango sauce adds a bit of sweetness to the fish, which is a nice balance. I missed a bit of the lemon but overall the dish was very satisfactory & also the smoothie made me feel all healthy! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys superfoods.

A friend recommended this place for Sushi. The food was amazing - very fresh sushi. We ordered the combo platter and everything was yummy. The server was part owner and very friendly. The outside terrace was lovely with views of the water. They have an attached gelato stand which was tasty as well. Highly recommend.

Through Google we were looking for a poke bowl. We ended up eating a full three meals course (hummus, octopus, poke bowl) with dessert and it was the best dinner we had in Mallorca. What a gem in the island! Will come back for sure! (We had celiac and lactose intolerance restrictions. We had absolutely no problem in ordering)
Bruno Candeias — Google review
Stopped here for a quick bite for lunch, sat outside on the terrace which had a lovely view out to the marina. We ordered the mixed berry juice and some sangria. The sangria was really lovely and light. To eat we had the crispy bread with tomato topping and the carrot and sweet potato hummus. Then for the main we have the langoustine tempura roll which was a really tasty and very big portion (we could have shared instead of ordering 2). Overall the food was very light and fresh and the service was excellent. Would say a little on the pricey side for lunch at €100 however we probably ordered too much. Really enjoyed the food and would go back for dinner next time.

We stopped for dinner as I love Sushi, the food was delicious, yes pricey! But this isn’t packet/frozen food like all the other places along the seafront. This is made behind the counter where you can see them making it, was very tasty, light and filling. Will certainly go back again, worth every penny….or Euro 🤷‍♂️

Great food and service here. If you go in with the expectations of huge amounts of food that is not what this place is about. If you go in with the expectations of great food and enough of it , you be happy. The quality of food is excellent and so is the service, and they cook fresh which takes a bit longer, but with the view it doesn't really matter at all. The lamb I had was amazing and the rest of the food also. My favourite was the whisky cake which is below. Price wise it is good for the quality of the food you get.

Majorcan restaurant
Celler La Parra, a veteran tavern in Majorca, has been serving authentic Mallorcan cuisine since 1962. The restaurant is run by brothers Jaime and Alex and is located in a typical Mallorcan cellar where wine was traditionally made and sold. With wood-burning ovens and a warm, rustic atmosphere, the restaurant offers traditional wood-fired Mallorcan specialties using the freshest local produce.
This place is a must if you want to experience exceptional customer service and great food quality. We had a great time, everything that we ordered was delicious, they have a good wine selection, the staff is extremely kind, it was a pleasure being there. Authentic mallorquín. Huge portions. Delicious croquetas, beef tongue, lamb leg that fell off the bone, and ensameda almond cake. The staff was attentive and friendly.
Elise Mowrey — Google review
We quite enjoyed our meal here. Combined the grilled sea bass with croquetas and the Mallorcan salad and that was enough for two. The nuggets were real chicken fillet and fries were juicy, our kid loved those. Overall, a good lunch and okay service. Very reasonable prices. Small but good wine list. A meal for 3 people cost us 50€. Wheelchair access - yes, the place is accessible from & level with the street.

I had a roasted lamb arm. Very tender. It was ok. However, my mother's dish was excellent. Cod with garlic sauce. Super fresh, served with potatoes and veggies. I will choose that one next time! For first time visitors, it is decorated with typical Majorcan objects to create a traditional atmosphere. I grew up in Mallorca, so for me it's nothing exciting, but it might be for someone who has not been there before.

A really nice meal in this local restaurant. It was busy and as I hadn't booked was offered a table in the covered outdoor area. Despite the heaters it was a little chilly and lacked the feel of the main restaurant. However the important part the food was excellent. It tasted good and the service was excellent.

We finally got a chance to taste their food. Very busy restaurant and very hard to get a table. Make sure to reserve beforehand. We had two starters, three main courses and one dessert. Main courses were very good. Tumbet was to die for. This goes on my appetizers when we have friends over. Creme caramel was below average though. But the rest of the food was great so 5 stars it is. Great ambience, friendly staff

Wow 👌 👏 ... is the word that can best describe this restaurant. The staff was so polite and friendly, the food taste like little bites of heaven and the place is so well located. My husband and I had an amazing time there. I would recommend to anyone that is on the island. I love fried calamari and is was one of the best I've ever ate. It was not the best, because there was no special sauce to eat with, only simple mayo.

15 of us sat down for a meal the food was lovely, the staff spot on! It's not easy catering for a table with 4 children and 11 adults. All the food was served hot or chilled depending on the dishes. The tempura prawns and 700 gram sirloin (To share was amazing) It was the best meal of out holiday worth a visit book to avoid disappointment 🥰

Restaurant on the pier overlooking the water at Port Pollensa. Great views and service. Food was just a little over average, but I only had 3 tapas (croquettes, fried prawns and ham roll). Pricing is super reasonable as well. Definitely worth trying, at least for the view and ambience.

Really enjoyed the location and food here. I had the mushroom and truffle risotto, my wife had a monkfish and scallop risotto, both were delicious. So many perfectly thin slices of truffle on mine. Dont get me wrong - this is a good restaurant & seems they are aiming at michelin star level. The hardware is in place - but we feel just not quite there yet as certain parts lacking. The staff were nice & friendly - but a few areas just not hitting the spot. Someone has put together a good wine selection - but the advice was not forthcoming (or quite correct) when asked. We were given still - not sparkling water (no big issues). The dishes were mainly nice - but again just lacking some parts.. The tuna in the tartare was not super fresh as it should be. The flavours in some did not have the depth of flavour (maybe squid main for example). The chocolate surprise dessert however was amazing & hit the spot. This maybe over critical but hopefully they will accept & improve those areas as seems they are aiming high & as I say - overall it is a nice place.

10/10. Service, great choice of drinks, incredible starters, one of the best turbot I’ve ever tried and dessert to dream of. 100% must visit in Pollenca #purrrrfect!

Our favorite meal in Puerto Pollenca. The design and atmosphere with the jungle theme is fun and tasteful. The starter with prawns and octopus was incredibly fresh and memorable. The turbot was unbelievable. The crispy skin topped with mushrooms… wow. The best fish I’ve ever had. We topped it off with the dessert and sweet wine. The pairing was recommended on the menu and definitely worth it. They topped it off with limoncello. Amazing place!

A beautiful restaurant with excellent and friendly staff. The chefs are also very welcoming and they really deserve a Michelin star. Very very nice! Every dish is perfected! We only wished we could try all dishes on the menu since it was our last night! You have to try! Cocktails look awesome too. I wish there was non alcoholic Gin and Vodka cocktails since the ginger beer and special coke tasted awesome! I can imagine how the whiskeys and gins would really shine. Attention to every detail.

One of the best experiences we had in Mallorca. The food was excellent although the crème brulée was better than the surprise dessert but that’s all a matter of taste ☺️ P.S. would be nice to have a reusable napkin since it’s a fine dining restaurant and better and much more sustainable for the environment. Thank you for the experience

The restaurant has a great concept and we were looking forward to visit. Pros: Pleasant atmosphere with attention to details in decor. Presentation of the food is delightful. We particularly enjoyed the lamb tacos - they were a little small but delicious in flavour as well as the meat dish of the day , duck breast. Good quality local ingredients & lots of flavours & great presentation. Cons: ordered fermented cauliflower and we received cabbage!? It was a lot of different flavours going on and would have loved to know more about the ingredients but sadly our waitress - (who was very polite & a nice girl) did not know much about the dishes. We would have needed a little guidance and recommendation based on our questions and tastes. In our opinion some tapas prices , like the cabbage or veggie tacos were higher than would expect as they were small ,or portions should be bigger to reflect the price. A marble piece as a plate is a unique idea but we found it strange to eat from & cooled down the hot dish! We waited 55 min for our first dish to arrive (was not busy) no one asked how we like the food, would like an other drink or a dessert. Overall we feel the service let the place down.

Excellent concept with delicious dishes, lots of interesting flavors, combinations and textures with locally sourced ingredients. I really enjoyed every dish and was looking forward to this experience. Plates are relatively small and so in a table of 4 we were able to try a lot. The service was somewhat disinterested, it didn’t feel as welcoming as you’d expect. We sat outside, whilst it was nice as inside was definitely too Smokey from the open kitchen. However, the bar just across that seems to be run by Terrae, had an overwhelmingly loud singer, which made it difficult out to enjoy a conversation at our table.

Interesting concept with locally sourced ingredients cooked with passion. I enjoyed the creativity, beautiful plating and effort. Tried the tasting menu: loved the entrees, with the low temperature egg and tacos being our favorites. The cabbage and the lamb croquetas (smoked with rosemary) were both original and well presented. Both main courses were a bit disappointing, the execution was good, the choice of flavors too, but tuna wasn't top grade and the lamb tasted way too strong. I enjoyed the use of pickled onions and carrots in different dishes. Good local vermouth and dessert wine. If I lived here, I would probably come back, they are on good track.

Wow, outstanding! The food and presentation was delicious. We couldn’t stop raving after each dish! Highly recommend. I’m vegan and my partner is celiac (ie gluten free) and they were so accommodating. The atmosphere is also so lively and great ambience. 10/10 would recommend.

We did the tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious. 7 courses of heaven and a cool ambiance. It’s a small place so definitely make reservations. My favorite thing was the lamb and the taco course. And typically I don’t even like lamb!

Superb. Can’t recommend it highly enough, get the chefs table if you can (and there’s only two of you). Everything was amazing with really friendly staff and great wines and drinks. All the food was brilliant. But The tacos 🌮? To die for …

We had a lovely meal. Awesome staff that are fun, friendly and keep a watchful eye on their guests. The food was creative and combined classic Mallorcan dishes with newer elements. The homemade Katso Bushi was a nice touch but they should ditch the micro plane as it couldn’t handle the hardness. Some fine shavings out of a “bushi” boxplane would have been lovely.
