The place is very comfortable, nice and quite. Breakfast is good and generous. It is also a chance to taste marmalades and different kind of home made cakes. The quality of the restaurant is very high. All the staff is kind. The owners, Maurizio and Mara are two lovely persons, always available and willing to help providing precious advices about places to visit, and there suggestions were always right

Great place for rest when you are travelling with your dog, friendly staff. Rooms are little bit older, but clean. Restaurant provides mostly meals in BIO qualitty! :) Staff is helpfully, and provide to you some tips where to go, and what you have to visit aroud :) Also they have 3 dogs at this area, which are so good and friendly. Breakfast was good, you can choose from salty/sweet variant. Also they can provide you GF option of bread.

Really good place, service is really kind, some waiters speek more than four language and one of them is english. I had problems with insects, becaus, I let the door be open for too long, so close the door after you enter in the room.

Beautiful piace and great location. We stayed for 5 days in the second week of September and we'd bike to the free beach of Feniglia everyday. We'd dine in Porto st Stefano which is a few miles away. The picture portrays a typical hut of the Feniglia beach.

Cala del Gesso is a stunning beach in Tuscany, known for its polished pebbles and the remnants of a 16th-century tower. It's considered one of the most beautiful shores in the region, along with La Cacciarella and Cala Grande. Accessible by long downhill paths, these wild beaches offer breathtaking landscapes at the end of their trails.
One of the best beach and sea in monte Aegentario natural reserve!! Is a long walk down from cliff but is worth it!! Awesome lamdscape from the cliff!! The sea is amazing and clear with rocks and lots of fishes ideal for snorkeling!! 🇮🇹🛥️🌞

A little paradise in Monte Argentario. We went in April, it was like a desert. A bit difficult to reach; you need to park along the main street and then hike for a kilometer. Bring with you water and foods,
Massimo — Google review
Beautiful beach, but don’t follow the navigation until the end!! Maybe it’s because I’ve been there after the main season, but couldn’t find the official parking. The navigation showed to go trough this door where it’s painted on the concrerte the beache’s name, but it’s a private road, it leads to a dead end. Leave the car somewhere higher up, then walk down until the beach.
Barbara Túri — Google review
There are a few little places and bays that you can approach only with a little hiking between Cala Piccola and Cala Grande, but worth a little extra time. Don't forget to take some snacks and water with you. ;)
Babett Czigány — Google review
Wonderful view. Clear water. A bit difficult to reach and can only be done on foot. There are no rest areas nearby. A real natural paradise.
CHIARA PANICO — Google review
Rating it a 1 because could not go as the access is blocked (?) most beaches in Argentario are blocked by rich people as private access. How people can block public beaches is a wonder only found in Italy. How Italians like to suffer this in their own country and tourists as well is another mystery to be asked to the municipality and tourism department.

Secluded, rocky cove accessible via a hiking path or by boat, popular for swimming & snorkeling.
Lovely hidden beach with amazingly clear water, nice spot for snorkeling. The acces route is very nice with many stunning views, but the terrain is quite hard and in combination with hot weather and blazing sun it could be a challenge for untrained people. We made it with kids (5 and 6 years) and they managed, but were complaining all the time :-)

We parked on the road, we walked until we found a white house where the path is indicated but it took us a long time. It is recommended to go with sports shoes or comfortable shoes. Small beach with rocks and pebbles. Due to the size of the beach it feels crowded really quick. The beach itself is nice, but not really extraordinary. Biggest downside is the road to the beach. Quite rocky and steep, best to wear proper footwear. I think there are better places to stop.

Located in Porto Santo Stefano, the Fortezza Spagnola is a historic monument dating back to the late 16th and early 17th century. This Spanish fortress played a crucial role in protecting France from Britain during the Napoleonic wars. Situated on Monte Argentario, it offers stunning views of the surrounding sea and nature. While its neighborhood remains unspoiled, visitors have noted challenges with parking.

Monument itself looks great outside. Inside lacking some equipment- thus falling have a look and feel about it. Besides that entering it and looking for Port San Stefano from East side make really amazing impressions about it. It’s worth entering just to get amazing view. Hard to find parking space and ZTL zone not really visible.

Trattoria Lo SfizioDa Leo is a relaxed fish restaurant with a charming terrace offering stunning sea views. The place is known for its exceptional hospitality and energetic atmosphere. The menu features creamy gnocchi and perfectly cooked fresh seafood, all expertly balanced in flavor. Guests praise the attentive service and the delicious seafood dishes, such as the Insalata del Mare and Grilliatone.
Despite the language barrier here we still had a very nice time! Thank goodness for smart phones so we could communicate better with our server! The food was very good and it was a nice, cozy atmosphere!

We had an amazing evening here! The service is incredible, and our waiter very patiently answered all our questions, made recommendations, and generally made our night. The food was good and the prices were also decent, and the ambiance is wonderful- we had a table with a window overlooking the sea! For appetizers, we ordered the seafood salad, which was tasty. For entrees, we got the seafood gnocchi (a fun take on spaghetti vongole), which was incredible, and the swordfish in tomato sauce, which was good (the fish itself not that amazing, but the sauce was great). For dessert we had the panna cotta, which wasn't that great and drenched in a chocolate syrup. The table next to us got creme brulee, which came on fire!! Overall, super nice vibe and service.
Olga Shestopalova — Google review
Very good quality-to-price ratio, every dish we ordered was very tasty, as so was their house wine. The service was friendly. Will come back when back in Porto Santo Stefano.

Leonardo packs a generous punch of generous energy and hospitality! His wait staff are exceptional as well. His gnocchi is creamy and all the flavours are balanced. His food has the perfect infusion and all the seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. His food has a balanced palette and a simple amplification of flavour. Leonardo.... ! Let's open up a restaurant in Vancouver, BC, Canada! Thank you!

Amazing fresh seafood dishes!! It wasn’t comfortable staying at the table outside but could feel fresh air. Insalata del Mare was also full of seafoods. I loved the perfect cooking stage of calamari. And for the dish Grilliatone, I don’t even have to say any word. The picture shows :). Highly recommended.

We had lunch in this restaurant. The view and location is nice and the staff is working very hard. despite this, fish is marked as often being frozen and what we had for lunch was rather missing taste (caponata, gnocchi with shrimp cream, ravioli ricotta and spinaches). Good for a quick byte but not sure I would highly recommend it
francesca Tornaghi — Google review
Great Frittura di pesce, the gamberi in particular was fresh which isn’t always the case. Also their primi are very nice and generous we had the crema pesto pasta con cozze and it was so delicate. Their insalata di mare was so refreshing and with generous quantity. Prices are reasonable for a seafood restaurant and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that there weren’t many vegetarian options and even the basic pastas were very average for their price tag, so I would love to see a couple more well made veggie options.

Seafood restaurant
Ristorante Il Moletto, established in 1955, is a renowned oceanfront venue located in Porto Santo Stefano. It has been a go-to spot for seafood enthusiasts for almost seventy years. The restaurant offers classic Italian fish dishes and seafood pasta with a stunning view of the sea. Open year-round for lunch and dinner, it serves fresh, seasonal local catch prepared using traditional recipes with a modern twist.
Ate here twice during our stay in Porto Santo Stefano based on a recommendation from our airbnb host and the quality of the food was consistently delicious! We went first for dinner where the restaurant accommodated a large group and then back for lunch. The seafood was fresh, the sauces and pastas equally as flavourful. Great selection of wines and amazing value for what you are getting paired perfectly with a cozy ocean-side vibe. Lots of locals amongst the guests as well which we take as a great sign. We had what felt like unlimited wine & left feeling extremely stuffed for 40 euro per person. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through, but make sure to make a reservation if it's for dinner.

Nice view over the harbour. Beautiful and tasty mussels with a glass of wine.
Philippe Lemarchand — Google review
The middle age brunette waitress needs to be fired. Unbelievably rude and terrible service. Maybe if you speak Italian you get good service, but as a tourist terrible. They also charge 2.5 coperto which is basically just a screw you to each customer give me money fee which they say is for service but the service was terrible....so you tell me what it's for. Food was aggressively average.

A very good seafood restaurant. We selected our fish. Once baked, they present and then filet near our table. Nothing fancy, sauces etc. Just good fish. Beautiful location by the sea.

We were a large party. Making a reservation helps. Rather than ordering individually we asked the waitress to create some dishes based upon a few suggestions we had - what a feast! We love the place. Be prepared to dine for a few hours.

Rather on upscale side, bit towards fine dining. Food and service spectacular! I loved the grilled octopus. Just don't expect pizza or pasta with tomato sauce there :)

Best restaurant in Porto Ercole and Argentario area. I’m from here and I have admit that is very difficult to find a restaurant with this level of service and food. Service was very professional, waiters were very accommodating and happy to answer to any questions. The menu is amazing, great choices of dishes and very unique. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Made an 8pm reservation several weeks ahead. Knew we weren’t going to make it in time so tried calling ahead three times within opening hours. They did not pick up the phone. Went in at 9pm to see if we could change to a reservation for the following night. The server was extremely rude and refused to change our reservation and and it wasn’t their responsibility to answer the phone, even when there was not any other way of communication. Claimed they sent people away to save our table, but the restaurant was only half full. Very weird experience. We were looking forward to dining here but now would not recommend.

Very cosy atmosphere, with nice vintage interior and clean service. Helpful staff, very good prices, this place is ten times better than what you can find by the port. The only issue we've had is parking, as there are not many parking spots around, so we've spent some time on looking for one.

Must-try for an authentic Tuscan meal. We had a large group for dinner so were able to try many of the items on the menu, none of which could disappoint. Very flavourful meat cooked (or not cooked for raw!) to perfection. Great selection of starters, pastas and mains all for a very reasonable price in a cozy Italian setting. Many locals inside as well which is a good sign. Definitely make a reservation!

Food is on the salty side. I ordered the roast Stinco ( very salty), it came with no sauce or garnish, no accompaniment. I ordered roasted potatoes with it. The fried artichoke is very salty. The presentation is jyst "Blah" .I was expecting more based on what I've read about this trattoria. It needs a gourmet touch of an experienced chef.

La Regina di Napoli is an enchanting establishment that offers excellent value compared to other local eateries. The cuisine is exceptional, and the staff members are not only kind but also accommodating. It's a place where patrons can truly relish their dining experience. The individuals present are delightful, and the Sauvignon Blanc is served at the perfect temperature. The service here emulates efficiency similar to that of New York City, which adds to its appeal.
Lovely humans here . Sauvignon Blanc well chilled. New York quick service ...which is what I love ! Seafood very fresh.

Wasn’t very impressed with the quality of pizza here. Both our pizzas were overdone on the crust but the problem was the base. It was very thin which is a little more normal in this area of Italy but the issue was the weak consistency. It was oily and undercooked in the middle. The toppings slid off, making eating quite difficult. The flavour was blander than other pizzas I’ve eaten around Italy but the price was ok and service was fine.

There are very few restaurants in this part of the town and they are very busy during lunchtime. It is hard to find a place. We had to wait to get a table and they were quite slow but still kind with us. The food was under average but the service was fast after we had the place. Not much to choose in the town so rather eat in an other town. They have pizza only for dinner.
