On November 20th, 2023, we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Le Vieux Logis. The atmosphere of the dining room, resembling a medieval living room with stone walls, was truly remarkable. Prior to ordering, we were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of amusement-bouche - a delightful combination of dill and whipped cheese. The appetizers consisted of goat cheese on tomato tartare which was incredibly flavorful.
Top attentive service! 5* Excellent main plate and desert. 5* Good wine choice. Not bad coffee. Great vintage atmosphere. A warranty for a perfect dinner.

Everything perfect! Both the service; and the food. The restaurant is very nicely decorated.

We had one of the best meals we've had in 3 weeks in France at Le Vieux Logis. The dining room is a fabulous stone-walled medieval-feeling living room. Amusement-bouche (fun for the mouth) arrived before we ordered - a yummy dill and whipped cheese concoction. Appetizers of goat cheese on tomato tartare was delicious. My wife's guinea fowl was so tasty it was to die for, and my sea bream was very delicate. The proprietor speaks only a little English so have Google Translate handy.

Always worth a visit for the food and ambiance.

Absolutely fantastic meal and service. Such a great variety and made to feel very welcome with our limited French. This will become a regular restaurant for us to visit and take friends.

Heerlijk eten, vriendelijk personeel en een gezellige ambiance! (Translated by Google) Delicious food, friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere!

Words cannot describe how good the food was here. We stumbled upon this place by pure luck as the restaurant that we wanted to go to originally was closed. The old building - the oldest in Vias - looked fantastic and we dint think the food could match. But it did. I had duck breast which was so lovely I wish I could have eaten more. Thoroughly recommend.

An excellent, traditional French restaurant in the medieval Summer residence of the Bishop of Agde. In the Summer one can also eat outside. It is run by Vincent who speaks English if you need that. Good wine list. Cosy in the Winter with a very large open fire. The menu changes quite often but they also offer about 4 fixed price menus with a more limited choice. Booking is a good idea, especially in the season.

Fabulous restaurant the food is excellent and the ambience is really special. Staff are very friendly. Great value also

Very delicious French kitchen. Friendly and charming staff and beautiful atmosphere. I only can highly recommend this restaurant of you are in Vias and looking for a good restaurant!!

We decided to try here having read the reviews on Google. Arrived without a booking, which turned out to be a mistake as they were full, but they managed to fit us in. Delicious food, with friendly service, in an interesting and beautiful setting. Highly recommended. Nicest restaurant we found between Vias and Portiragnes.

Restaurant Le Riads is a true hidden treasure located on a highway in a small town. This Moroccan eatery offers an array of delectable options such as couscous and tajine. The lamb served with the couscous is exceptionally delicious. Their main course is flavorful, accompanied by delightful dessert choices like baclava and refreshing mint tea. This dining experience provides an authentic taste of Morocco that shouldn't be missed.
Great way to experience Moroccan dining. Trust the host to advise you. The gentleman who looked after us spoke English too (Merci Beaucoup!) Good sized main dish with very generous sides. Without us asking, after the main course Moroccan mint tea and rich pastries were served. The bill was very reasonable. I would certainly visit again to try another dish if I lived here.

Wow what a meal we all had! First time as a family of 5 having Morrocan and it was perfect. I went for the Lamb apricot and prune Tigne and was amazing. Not a word I would normally use for food but it was that good. Service was great along with the food and atmosphere. Must visit

Great Morocco food and great staff too. Careful the tajines are very hot! Lamb and mergez tajines the best!

A true hidden gem! We were on the highway and stopped in this little town, as we had a craving for couscous. The owner was super nice and explained the menu (main options arecouscous and tajine). My couscous had the best lamb I've had in a long time. The main course was delicious and so was the dessert (baclava) and mint tea. Definitely worth a detour to try the real Moroccan flavor!

(Translated by Google) We (3 adults) had a delicious meal here. The tagine, meat and fish were all very tasty. The staff was not only very friendly, but also competent. Due to crowds, we only got a spot after waiting 20 minutes. But the food was worth the wait. We would do that again. Don't miss this restaurant if you are in the area!

Eten en bediening waren zeer goed. Relatief eenvoudig ingericht, maar dit is zeker niet storend. Sfeer is authentiek en lekkere thee! (Translated by Google) Food and service were very good. Relatively simply furnished, but this is certainly not disturbing. Atmosphere is authentic and delicious tea!

L'Amandine is a charming restaurant located in Vias, offering an authentic and delightful dining experience. Visitors have praised the outstanding interpersonal skills of the staff and the friendly atmosphere. The food, particularly the cod and fillet steak, has been described as exceptional, with huge compliments to the chef Pascal. The wine selection is impressive and complements the delicious meals perfectly. Guests have enjoyed sitting outside on the street, savoring their meals in a quaint setting.
While on a family holiday in Vias, we wanted to venture slightly away from the touristic high street and try some local places. L'Amandine came up as a first choice on Trip Advisor and we 100% understand why. We absolutely fell in love with this place. All members of staff have outstanding interpersonal skills and friendly attitude. The food was absolutely outstanding ( HUGE complements to the chef Pascal!) and the wine cart is impressive. They went far and beyond to accommodate the taste pallet of our kids and just cooked pasta the way our kids like it. The cosy location brings up the real experience of authentic South of France. The restaurant is run by chef Pascal and his wife Gillian who is not only friendly face but an absolute heart and soul of the place. Our recommendation for you is to visit this place without a doubt. We went there twice in a span of 4 days and if not the shortness of our stay, would definitely be back there again❣

This is without question the best restaurant in Vias (village). The food is always perfect service with a smile and they even understood my poor French. See you next year.

We had a great meal at this restaurant. The owner and staff were very accommodating and their recommendations were fabulous.. The food and wine were lovely and at a very fair price.. It’s a shame we were only in the town for the weekend or would have returned. Thank you..
Gareth Harris — Google review
Cod was good and other meals being served looked very nice and generous portions. Good ambiance sitting outside on the street but got the feeling that we were being ignored in favour of others and that spoiled an otherwise lovely evening out.

(Translated by Google) We were at the Mark in Vias and were also looking for a restaurant to celebrate my 60th birthday on April 4th, just my wife and I... opposite the market hall, a nice gentleman came up to our Labrador dog and greeted her, which our dog replied with a wagging gesture ...was probably the owner of the restaurant...we looked at the memory card, small but nice. So we reserved a table for April 4th. What we ate that evening was incredible, a treat that we had never experienced before, a French cuisine that we had never enjoyed before, we were blown away by what was prepared for us with heart and love, beautifully presented to the eye . The nice gentleman who greeted us with our dog two days ago was Christian, a master of the kitchen. Thank you very much for the hospitable, wonderful, enjoyable evening we were able to experience with you.

The host at Pancho Villa was very hospitable and accommodating. The meals were delicious and promptly served. A group of five people thoroughly enjoyed their dining experience and have plans to return during their next visit to Farinette. The portions were generous, the food was tasty, and they arrived early enough to avoid the busy period later in the evening. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and they highly recommend this restaurant for its entertainment as well.
Very welcoming and accommodating host. Food was really nice and served in good time. There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed the meal. Will definitely visit again next time we stay in Farinette.

I was disgusted by the staffs attitude when we as a family, 3 of which were small children, were waiting over an hour for our food, I went to ask what the delay was, being as the diners on tables either side of us all had their food and they had arrived after us, to be greeted by staff laughing at my French, I said the children are upset and hungry. We got no explanation, neither an apology. After two hours, we asked to pay for our drinks and said we were leaving due to no sign of any food arriving soon. They never made any attempt to reassure us our food was on its way, instead became very aggression and upset the children even more. I would never ever go there again.
