Beautifully located at the end of the main and central road of the town, this little restaurant has, in fact, a rather large terrace, covered enough to shield you from the summer sun. The service was courteous, though not the most attentive. The produce used is of high quality: you can really taste it in the meat, like the beef tagliata or the hamburger. Both were cooked well, though the tagliata was most likely set on a pan with slightly too high of a temperature, which caused the outside to be well done while only the core remained rare. Great fries. Tip: If it's too warm, ask for the fan to be turned on, there's a big one hanging on the right side of the terrace.

Lovely lunch at this friendly enoteca and restaurant. Great pizzas (including ones with dough ears for the children) and fantastic service.

This restaurant is the reference for hospitality, service, attention and cuisine. The all sharing dish from a la carte menu were creative, moving and delicious. The matching wine accompaniment was perfectly matched. We are very grateful to have experienced this wonderful evening. I would highly recommend this establishment!

AVOID There are many other places in town. We were told to wait at the door to be seated inside while the waitress come and went to the kitchen prior to seating us. Service took forever, it was hot inside only a roof fan on a very low speed, the finally took our order, we asked for Moretti beers and were brought that horrible flat Sardenian beer Ichnusa, the pizza was half raw, as you can see in the picture one half was thicker like a napoli type pizza, the other half thin and crunchy like a roman pizza. It's only pizza for heaven's sake. Staff had no english whatsover, not even yes and no. Was not even that cheap. AVOID

Restaurant
Located in Citta della Pieve, Italy, Trattoria Bruno Coppetta is a restaurant that offers outdoor seating, takeout options, wheelchair accessibility, and TV entertainment. Despite initial doubts of being a tourist trap, the experience proved otherwise. The cuisine served here is outstanding and genuinely prepared with traditional recipes. The wine selection is impressive, featuring both renowned bottles and an equally satisfying house wine option. The friendly and knowledgeable waiter adds to the overall dining experience.
We wer driving 50 minutes to this place , without reservation, in hope will get a table. And we did. Wow! It’s located in small town on top of big mountain. The views on the way to this place are WOOW. And the food, the service, the atmosphere - wow wow wow!!! Thank you so much for this MEMORY ❤️ will always remember this dinner.

Excellent quality at moderate prices We stopped in this Trattoria by chance for lunch on a weekday. The Location is in the middle of Citta del Pieve and in an historical building we were very much surprised about the quality. We had an entrée based on their typical sausage and ham one pasta with pheasant and one main course based on wild boar white and red wine, water, coffee and spent total of 42 Eur. Steaks are cooked on an open fire and I wish we could have stayed longer to try that one. Many locals were there eating for lunch and the restaurant was full so reservation is recommended. The service was impeccable and very friendly.

Bruno Copetta trattoria - a place you feel good and eat well! Delicious pasta (pici cacio e pepe) and risotto. Also, very good meat and vegetables prepared as caponata. The service was kind, we received the best recommendation. Grazie mille! We hope to return soon!

We were taken here on our first night in Citta della pieve and already want to go back again! The food was exceptional - I was in awe of the cacio e pepe presented in the cheese wheel. The atmosphere was very pleasant as well. Thank you!
Lauren Marino — Google review
Incredible food experience! Easily, the best Pici Cacio e Pepe I ever had a pleasure to try anywhere in Italy. Even though portions are gigantic and quality is top-top, the prices are very reasonable. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Patryk Gliszczyński — Google review
Excellent food and service! Nice choice of delicious meats and pasta. A larger restaurant than most in Citta della Pieve, but they get busy so make a reservation.
Eric Hanly — Google review
Simply fabulous- easily the best meal we had in Citta Della Pieve. We enjoyed the lamb ribs and duck pasta and cleaned our plates. Make sure to get a reservation beforehand. I promise you will not be disappointed.
Ashley Meuser — Google review
It was a lovely experience. The service and especially the decoration is just amazing. The service has ok, you would expect better service and at least one employee that would speak English to explain the Italian menu. We tried the pasta for staters and got full. One dish was enough. They served big portions. And for main dish we tried the local steak, and the lamb ribs. The ribs were simply amazing, the stake on the other hand, we order medium, and it came rare, we asked to grilled a little more, and it came back overcooked. Overall a 4 star experience.
Pedro G.Alves — Google review
Fabulous restaurant, definitely the best meal of our week long stay in Umbria. The pasta was delicious and the service from John Marco was top notch
Alex Milton — Google review
The food was good and the waiter was very nice and helpful, the stars are only for him! I made a reservation for 9pm three weeks ago. The day of the reservation I called to confirm, we arrived on time and everything was going amazingly until we finished eating. We ordered one first course each, a bottle of wine and an 80 euros steak. The interaction with the waiter was super nice and he guided us through our meal which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, at the very end of our meal, the person who seemed to be the manager/owner became extremely rude towards me and my husband. It was around 23.15 when I quickly went to the toilet before leaving because we had a 1 hour drive back to Perugia and this person stood up in front of my husband (who doesn't speak any Italian) staring at him and saying "andiamo???" making the whole thing really uncomfortable for him. We totally understand that it was a long week and you wanted to leave but there was no need to be so rude, you could have gone to him and politely explain that you were closing (we were leaving anyway!!!) without putting up a scene about which even the waiter apologised. There are multiple people we know from the area and abroad who wanted to come try your food but now I won't recommend your restaurant anymore. We were paying clients and were very polite with everybody. Sometimes just a sentence can completely change an experience and this behaviour really ruined our meal at this restaurant. Definitely would NOT recommend if they treat clients like this. Remember you're not doing us a favor since we are paying for the food we ate.
Antonella Bencivenga — Google review
The wine list is unbelievable. The risotto outstanding. But you have to go here for the service and the Cacio Pepe.
JD Dunican — Google review
Nice place, very nice stuff, the food was made with passion, only maybe the weather was not so good for the Chianina. Hope next year the Fiorentina will include the missing "fillet" part and the most delicious yellow fat....

Visiting from Vancouver, Canada. Incredible restaurant with authentic Umbrian fare. Highly recommend the house special picci, that is tossed inside a parmesan wheel to give it the most amazing creamy cheese coating. Staff was very friendly and service was excellent.
Daryl Wiebe — Google review
I walked inside this restaurant with the doubt to be inside a tourist trap, I couldn't be more wrong! The food was amazing and truly genuine, all according typical receipts. The selection of wines is also impressive, many good bottles, but the house wine is also a really good deal. The waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The ambient inside is very elegant, especially upstairs. Prices are fair, not expensive at all!

Restaurant
The Ristorante Pizzeria Taverna del Perugino in Rome and Florence offered a memorable dining experience for a group of 12, consisting of adults and children. The restaurant's excellent service and delectable menu, including their red house wine, pizza, pasta, and desserts like tartufo, panna cotta with berries, and tiramisu were highly praised. The accommodating nature of the staff made the visit even more enjoyable.
After loving the food that we ate in Rome and Florence, my husband and I both agreed that our meal at Taverna del Perugino was our favorite. It was so good, that we came back the next evening. Everything was so delicious… from the red house wine, to the pizza, to the pasta, to the desserts… it was incredible and the service was great. We had the ragu and cacio e Pepe both evenings and loved the pici pasta the most. Our first night we had the tartufo and panna cotta with berries. The second night we had the tiramisu. All SO good! Highly recommend! Hoping we will be able to make it back here in the future.

Delicious pizza, really, really thin with great topping. Not expensive, tasty wine which was their own. All in all a great experience. (Discerning couple in their 60s)

My fiancee and I bought a house a year ago in Umbria and have been determined to eat at every restaurant in the area. And this is our favorite pizza restaurant around, hands down! The crusts are wonderfuly crispy and the toppings high quality. The pasta and meat dishes are wonderful too. We've eaten at Perugino's a handful of times and have always been impressed by the warm and friendly service. Last time we ate, I misread the Italian and ordered the wrong pizza and the owner came straight over and sent over the pizza I had meant to get! I insisted we would pay for both as it was my mistake by but he waved us off and brought the other pizza out quickly free of charge. Also don't miss the desserts and chocolate souffle! My son asks for it everytime we're trying to pick a dinner spot. We have 15 family members coming to visit us and we can't wait to take them here on their first night in Italy to enjoy the quintessential outdoor dining vibe...and many many delicious pizzas and chocolate soufflés!
Allie Burns — Google review
We tried the antipasti and the pizza. Both were great. The pizza is especially good, very large but with a nice thin crust. Lovely.
Hans Huter — Google review
Our criteria for pizza is thin, crispy, and better than we can make at home. And here it is. A small town, family restaurant filled with locals and serving exactly what the locals love. Don't overlook the daily specials. Beer alla spina and vino di tavolo goes perfectly with the generous pizza that over flows the plate. Wonderfully worth it.

My favourite Città della Pieve restuarant - especially pizza!! If you like pizza, this place is not to be missed. Fantastic selection! The home made pasta is also top class. The wine list is very good value - can recommend all the house wines.

320 Gradi is a pizza restaurant known for its exceptional thin and crispy crust. Customers particularly enjoy the delicious artichoke pizza. While the fried peppers, potatoes, and other sides may look tempting, they don't always live up to their appearance. The staff behind the counter are friendly and accommodating. Many consider it to be the best pizza in the region, with some even going out of their way to visit again.
Loooooove their pizza! 🍕 also very easy to digest since they use ancient grains and longer fermentation times! Really recommend, my favorite is the Calcio e Pepe! 😋🤤

Incredible place. The owner knows a lot of things about the region and local food. The menu is local and very authentic. One of my best experience. Plus : the view is awesome!

I am actually giving 5 stars even though we sent some food back because the service was outstanding and the rest of the food was really delicious. We enjoyed starters of hummus and beef tartare which were delicious. For mains we ordered ravioli, risotto and truffle pasta. Unfortunately the truffle pasta was tasteless and had the texture of dirt - addition of crushed walnuts?? Anyway as all 3 of us who had ordered this really weren't enjoying it I called the waitress over and she was amazing. She immediately asked what we would like instead and we were advised by the rest of the table to go for the saffron risotto because it was so good. They weren't wrong. One of the best risotto we've ever had. Two of us also shared a tiramisu which they loved. So despite sending food back, because everything else was so wonderful and because of the incredible service I would highly recommend this restaurant, and especially the risotto! Also good vegetarian options for my veggie daughter.

While on a motorcycle trip around Europe, I ended up hungry, and here at bistrot del duca. I came in, dirty from the road, in riding gear, with no reservation. The Chef and Waiter welcomed me with open arms, moved some tables and squeezed me in. That alone is worth 5 stars in my opinion. It only gets better... The bistrot itself is perfectly beautiful. The view is amazing, and even on a hot day, the shad of the garden kept it very cool. The food, don't even kid yourself, this place is amazing. Everything my partner and I tried was perfect. I've lived in Italy a long time, and I promise, I'm not easily tricked by a pretty view. This place has it where it counts. The food will not disappoint, the chef very obviously cooks every dish with skill and love. I'm already trying to figure out how I can make it back on my return trip... (With a reservation, of course.)

What a wonderful place this is! The 5 of us went for dinner on the last night of our holiday. The location is amazing, tucked into the town walls, with views of the sunset. The service was perfect, professional and friendly. All the produce and drinks are sourced locally, and the staff are knowledgeable about the menu and provenance of the ingredients. And the food! Wonderful, creative and delicious dishes, created with care and passion. The chef comes to the tables to take the orders and recommend the delicious wines, an unusual and personal touch that perfectly sums up this wonderful place. Thank you for a memorable evening!

Had a wonderful, quiet dinner at Bistrot Del Duca while staying outside Città della Pieve. It's a charming spot with extremely friendly, warm, hospitable service. We were visiting in the off season so had the restaurant to ourselves -- what a treat. Food (pasta, risotto, secondo) was simple and lovely, we had some of the best bread we've eaten in Italy, and were given a recommendation for a unique wine that perfectly matched our food selection. Got some great tips on local food and culture as well. A lovely, romantic dinner venue but the views during daylight would be dynamite. Highly recommend.

We have lived as expats in the Città della Pieve comune for almost 20 years. We grow our own veggies and don't get out much, but my American friend treated us to supper at the Bistrot. I allowed the chef to choose my dish and wine and, although I'm no expert, I cannot remember a more pleasing restaurant experience. Peaceful, quiet, view, passionate cooking, helpful, friendly, 5 indoor tables. Make your reservation early because I'm sending all my guests there.
