The Tullie Inn has great views of the Glasshouse, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee, lunch or dinner. It also features live music most nights, and is a great place to meet friends for a drink.
Excellent venue for accommodation and bar. Check in was smooth and the man doing it was extremely helpful. Our room (family) was spacious and clean, quite warm but fans were provided and windows can be opened. Bathroom was extremely spacious. The bar was pleasant in the evening, the bar staff were great. Breakfast was tasty and cooked to order. Nicest breakfast I've had in a while. We will be back!

Stunning location, lovely interiors downstairs. Staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area which was really helpful. I appreciated that. The rooms were adequate at best. Definitely needs upgrading. The bathroom with bath and shower was quite big. Our room was noisy due to other visitors during the day and night and cleaning staff during the day. The food was pricey but delicious. We had breakfast included and I would definitely recommend as it was hearty.

Called in for a meal, breakfast menu only available. We ordered Eggs Benedict & Eggs Royal. The eggs were so over cooked yolks were rock solid & not fresh as there was no albumen present, hollandaise was packet mix & 2 of the tiniest rashers of bacon, also overcooked. To top it off their payment system was down & we had to walk up the street in the rain some distance to access cash, which cost £1.50 in fees; no offer to reduce the bill by that amount when mentioned. All round very disappointing!
Maureen Tyrrell — Google review
Really comfortable bed and room had everything we required. Slept really well. Room wasn't spotless, but was ideal for what we needed. The highlight was the breakfasts!! Delicious plates of food both days and great fruit/yoghurt selection.

Had a drink when we 1st arrived then went back later for dinner. Delicious food & friendly staff. We usually go to The Blue Lagoon when we visit Balloch but looks like we will be visiting here again. My Husband said it was the best gravy he had ever tasted ! he had the ale sausages with mash. I had the chicken & Bacon pie with mash & veg & it was delicious. The veg was the best I have tasted in any restaurant not too hard & think there was butter in them. Looking forward to coming back soon.

We stayed at the Tullie Inn for my partners birthday, we had a fantastic time there. The staff were so helpful and polite. The food was excellent, we would recommend the Tullie Inn to family and friends. Special thanks to Mary, Danny and Rachel who are an Asset to the Tullie Inn. 10/10 folks Oh and Mary bought my partner a cocktail for her birthday and offered us the choice of 2 rooms. Thank you Mary ;)

Great service, incredibly friendly staff that was very helpful in pointing out different local attractions. Good selection of beers, and a great menu. Food was cooked perfectly, came out quickly, and tasted excellent. This was my first taste of Scottish cuisine and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Many thanks to the staff at the Tullie for making me feel at home

Danny (?) was our server for a family lunch and was very friendly and engaging. He was also very helpful when my little nephew had an accident and hurt his tooth, offering napkins and water and band-aids. Other than that the food was delicious for really cheap prices. 2 courses for only £11 and it was nothing to scoff at! Situated right over the river, it's a good location and well worth a visit.

I had a fantastic stay at the Tullie Inn. The room was very clean and spacious. Very lovely staff and the location is perfectly situated in the town. The train station just a minute away and the bus station just 5 minutes away, with the Tourist Info center right across the inn.

Dog friendly. Great food. We took our recently-rescued dog with us; he's a nervous boy and can act up in new situations. However, a member of staff made sure to greet him at his own pace until they were practically best friends, giving him a 10/10 positive experience in a new environment.

In general, I liked my stay. Warm, clean, comfortable. The staff are friendly, good service. Delicious breakfasts, also convenient that you can go downstairs from your room to have dinner or sit in the bar.The only thing for some reason there was no hot water in the sink, but there was hot water in the shower. Also be aware that you have to deal with stairs because there is no lift.

Perfectly located if you are visiting Loch Lomond for the day. We had gotten the train from Glasgow Central in the morning and stumbled across this lovely restaurant for breakfast/coffee. Set in a little village location, this is the perfect place to settle down for a spot of lunch or dinner. Quiet and peaceful location, excellent service and beautiful food options available.

Room was lovely and clean, nice spacious room although was a small double. Had great storage, Kettle & Nespresso machine. Very clean toilet. Stayed here a few times and possibly favourite room. Bar staff where amazing particularly Dan who always goes above and beyond. The hotel is getting refurbished and I can understand somethings need to be done at certain times, But my wife and I had lunch date at Cameron house and we both went to have a shower before checked out and we couldn't as they'd turned the electrics off to the shower (only to the showers bizarrely). Was disappointed in that and we where also woke up by loud shouting right outside our door by staff members which was pretty rude.
Michael Kennedy — Google review
Great vibe and staff, unfortunately the food let it down a touch. It wasn't horrendous, but chips were overcooked and not fresh and the edges of my chicken burger had definitely got more heat than the rest. Don't wanna knock the place, it may have just been a one off as they had 3 power cuts in a row that day
Lord Allan Kenneth Okello — Google review
Located very close to Balloch Station, this is a really nice place to eat or drink. A large beer garden out back with a smaller one out front. The bar and restaurant has a nice relaxing feel. A good selection of drinks at the bar and an excellent choice on the menu. Also a dog friendly establishment. While a bit more expensive for what you get I personally think it was worth it!

Several years ago, I had the pleasure of staying at the Tullie Inn on my birthday, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The room was not only comfortable but also reasonably priced. I especially appreciated the local touch to the decor, which added to the authenticity of my stay. Additionally, I was delighted to find that the breakfast provided during my stay catered to my dietary needs, as I am a vegetarian. The selection was both delicious and scrumptious, making for a memorable meal. Overall, my stay at the Tullie Inn was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Loch Lomond. The hotel's attention to detail, affordable pricing, and excellent amenities, including the breakfast selection, make it an ideal choice for a memorable getaway. Without hesitation, I would happily return for another stay.

Had a overnight stay. The staff are great and helpful. Enjoy a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening and a superb all Scottish in the morning. The weather wasn't favourable on this visit however there a heated area outside mainly for smoking but used by all visitors and regulars.

One of the best fish & chips I’ve ever had in Scotland! Fresh, delicious food and drinks were good too. Good ambience- love the big windows, nice service & great location, also we got a table quickly even though it was a weekend.

What a great place to be right in the heart of Balloch . Food is excellent and service is always great, Ciara served us with a happy temperament and good knowledge of the food served . We came here last year for food and enjoyed it so much we are staying for five nights( the cleaners are worth a pat on the back for quickly helping out always with a happy smile)making this our central stop point for trips out around Scotland. I highly recommend this great place, we are very happy with it .

Went to the Tullie Inn for a meal. Service was very slow, there only seemed to be two people taking orders and serving during a busy period. Food was OK, drinks reasonably priced. Lovely outdoor seating area during the warmer weather.
Tracy R — Google review
I couldn't recommend this place enough! The staff made us feel extremely welcome and were very keen to help us in every possible way. The rooms were beautiful with plenty of space and it had a bath as well as a shower which was a lovely surprise. The food is also exceptional, both breakfast and evening meals were cooked to perfection. The pub area is also a perfect place to relax with a great range of drinks and a lovely atmosphere, accommodating to families and pets also welcome. Thank you very much to the Tullie Inn for a fantastic stay, we will be back very soon 😁

Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Lovely size room, all with iron, ironboard and hairdryer. Please be aware the noise of the fans from the kitchen at 7am.

The Tullie Inn is warm and welcoming place to stay. The family rooms are spacious with everything you need. I stayed with my 2 children. The breakfast was delicious staff friendly and helpful.
Kay McFadden — Google review
Loved everything about it other than I couldn't get a family room booked. Service was second to none. Each staff was 10/10. Food was outstanding even though prices have gone up since our last visit (where hasn't). Room was spotless & the price for 2 rooms with breakfast was reasonable. Could do with a bigger carpark to accommodate its popularity. Would definitely be back.
Kerryann Alexander — Google review
The staff where extremely friendly at the Tullie in. We kindly received an upgrade and the room was very cosy and comfortable beautiful decor and had the best nights sleep. The delicious breakfast set us up for the boat trip back to 🇮🇪 we will be back again! Thankyou !

Was able to get the last table, that was convenient. Because it was so busy, we have to wait about 40 minutes for the main dishes and one had to be returned as it was not properly cooked. No charge on that dish which was appreciated. We were served by three people, two of them seemed like they were doing us a favour, the third was alright. Overall (1/5): Waiting time 2/5 Service 2/5 Food (starter) 3/5 Food 1 3/5 Food 2 1/5 Price 3/5

Loved this place so much we came back again for lunch this year. Excellent friendly service and the dog was warmly welcomed too. Excellent food . Xx

First time we have visited Tullie Inn as this was only a quick stop on the way home for a Sunday roast dinner and it was incredible! The food was very hearty and the staff were very friendly. To have food this good and to be dog friendly is amazing. Will highly recommend and be back on our next visit.

If you're looking for a comfortable environment and lovely warming food, then this is the perfect time place to be. The staff here were absolutely fabulous. The food was more than ample and tasted amazing. Great location, easy to get to and there is a car park for ease. We went here for Sunday Roast and loved it so much that we came back again 3 nights later. If I were to visit the area again, I would most definitely come back with no hesitation. Thank you for fantastic food and service. Big Thank You to Jarvis for his fantastic service.

Had great overnight stay here. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms are so nice and food highly recommended. Tipsy afternoon tea is a must, and breakfast next morning is perfect, after a few beers in a well stocked bar night prior.
alistair macmillan — Google review
Popped in for breakfast, I live in the area. Definitely was not a warm welcome!! Place was fairly empty, now I know why! Was pointed to a seat, no smile or greeting. I wasn’t allowed to swap breakfast items , I’d have to pay extra but I was swapping 2 items for a half tomato! When the breakfast arrived the actual tomato that is on the menu was a quarter tomato! The waitress was miserable and sulky!! Definitely won’t be back!!

Pub
The Dog House is a great local pub with friendly people and great staff. It can be a bit too quiet at times, but this does not detract from the overall experience.
Went in early afternoon on a Saturday, here giant TV screens showing football were forced to sit near one, after a while we asked if the sound could be turned down, no problem, it was great to talk at a normal level, the Guinness was very nice, the bar filled up with people talking, it felt very cozy friendly, ended up staying longer due to the absence of blaring TV or concert level music. The last twice I went here was at night and its far too noisy, having to shout into the ear of barstaff and there is only about six people in.

Great little pub, great singer/entertainment, lovely bar staff, would highly recommend ! Didn't eat but we had a few drinks - great atmosphere. Thanks guys 😘

The Innkeepers Lodge is a small, family-run hotel in Balloch village, just down the road from the river Leven. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with free Wi-Fi and breakfast included in the price. There's also a beer garden on site - great for relaxing after a day of exploring nearby Loch Lomond National Park.
Excellence, we were very happy with our choice to stay here. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. You can tell they take pride in their hospitality. The bar is comfortable and has an excellent atmosphere for a late night drink by the fire

Steak was very good and reasonably priced, drinks were also reasonably priced. Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. The room although on the small size was adequate for our needs. The bathroom was very well appointed.
Alec Keeley — Google review
It was a perfect location with the staff being friendly, helpful and hospitable. Though basic, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and also the restaurant was value for money.
Ronny Matton — Google review
An excellent location, next to the best part of Loch Lomond and with the railway station only a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful, my room was good and so was the food. Not the cheapest place to stay at Balloch apparently.
Chris Lewis — Google review
Highly recommend dining here to our friends and family, and an atmospheric drink. Fireplace is lovely. Food is excellent, and a couple of very kind waiting staff. Our room was comfortable enough for one night too. That's why my rating is mixed. There was a front of house lady with dark hair who was very dismissive on arrival, and when coming down 10/15 minutes early for dinner her vibe was like we were an inconvenience because place was busy and Table not ready. However the front of house, possibly owner who checked us in he was pleasant enough and cracking jokes. We were also unhappy that we spend £100 for a night and we needed to pay £30 total for breakfast. My daughter is only 3 and ate minimal. Her breakfast did not equate to £10. Ours did, granted but unsure why breakfast isn't included in our stay or at least discounted like most places. Not accessibility friendly with spiral staircase, no lift and heavy doors but we managed okay. In room, bed a small double but is comfortable. Sofa bed was great for my toddler. Shower is great, room and bathroom very clean.
Nicola Brown (Fallen Jewel) — Google review
I stayed here one weekend last month and booked In for the weekend after. Location is fab, picturesque with lots of walks to chose from. The rooms are comforable and clean. The manageress is friendly and accommodating and manages to be everywhere at once. The bar and restaurant is rustic, cosy and the food was lovely. Really impressed with the wine too, didn't expect it to be so good for the price. If I'm planning a stay in Balloch again, this will be my go to.

Mixed experience on our recent visit to innkeepers collection. Upon arrival we asked if there were roasts left as we wanted to have one, the manager informed us that there was and mentioned nothing about how many there were left or needing to order quick. We ordered drinks and then were left waiting for 45 mins to take out order. When we finally went to order we found out the roasts were all sold out. We were extremely disappointed and felt like we were lied to to get us through the door. By this time it was too late to go anywhere else particularly anywhere with a roast left!! The reason for my 3 stars is for the waitress who did everything she could to turn the experience around for us. She put together a made up roast with as much as she could from the roast menu and replaced anything that had run out with alternatives (mash instead of toasties for example!) - and it was delicious! Never got an apology for the roast so definitely think the service could be improved. The food that we did get was lovely though so would return for that!

Nice room, superb location. Could maybe have done with more clothes storage space. Bed was maybe too hard for some people but I liked it. Excellently appointed bathroom.
Neil Pritchard — Google review
The place itself is beautiful and so are the rooms. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind. We could have stayed on for days but our trip didn't give us that opportunity. We will recommend this place for anyone going to the area!

Lovely hotel, rooms were large and clean, would have received 5☆ if it had a table and chairs. Bar area and restaurant quaint, food was lovely but a long wait to receive it.

We stayed at this wonderful pub for a couple nights in March. Staff were incredibly friendly and beyond helpful with anything we needed. Great value, especially including the breakfast which was delicious. Ideal location for exploring Balloch and Loch Lomond. We had dinner here one of the nights which was great and there are also a few other good restaurants nearby. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cosy bnb style pub.
Drew Lane — Google review
Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Loch Lomond. The hotel has rooms above a busy pub. The rooms are cosy and clean. Lots of stairs so don't bring heavy luggage. The pub is excellent, food delicious, I had sea bass which was very tasty. Service was good and very friendly staff. The draught beer selection was a bit disappointing, I like Doom Bar but was hoping for something with a bit more of a Scottish flavour. I was surprised how quiet the rooms were as we went to bed whilst pub was in full flow. The location was excellent, right next to the riverside marina and we had a long walk from the hotel along the Loch on Saturday. Balloch itself is a good base for exploring the area with several places to eat. A convenient, friendly and cosy place to stay. Final word is for the breakfast menu, beetroot hash cake, buttermilk pancakes, too many delicious choices, exceptional. Highly recommend

Stop here for a meal on the way back from Ft William. First and last time for us. Waited 40mins to get our main main course and that was only because I got up and asked for it. People that came in after us were served and about to pay for their meal when we eventually received our meal. When we received our meal it looked as if they had quickly thrown it onto our plates with no thought of presentation. We had to ask for some ingredients that were supposed to be part of the meal but not on the plates. We were halfway through our meals when they brought the side portion that we had ordered. Also they never asked us if we required more drinks, we had too ask them to take our drink order. And the food was cold. Shocking service from a prime location tourist resort.
Allan Forrest — Google review
We were very disappointed. Apart from location the hotel did not meet expectations. Evening meal ...partners food gammon and eggs . The eggs were rock hard, even the server commented and gave £3 discount off bill. ( I still have receipt as proof) . We used the hotel as a stopover so needed early start. In room literature advised breakfast from 7am but when went downstairs total darkness !!! Left without breakfast SO NEED A REFUND !. In room literature said drop key in box on leaving ,but no box visible. Was necessary to ring night porter who confirmed we should leave key in room. I have a photo of the in room literature as proof.

There's been a number of changes here, and sadly, this has affected the food and the service negatively. We generally go here 3 or 4 times a year and it's usually great value and a great atmosphere, etc. However, our last two visits have been well below their usual standard with cold food, poor servings and disappointing service. It's also strange, when there are vouchers available for discounted mains, the full menu isn't available. Thus has been the case many times so I suspect they are holding back on some menu choices (e.g. Duck) when discounts are available...

Lovely meal with friends. All our food was great and the welcome was warm and friendly. Jamie was polite and provided great service.

Lovely accommodation, pleasant and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. There was no stout or real ale on sale during my stay which was a bit disappointing.
Kenneth Higginson — Google review
The staff welcomed us in a friendly way, the food was very nice quality. There were a few vegan options (hurray!). We were served by Megan - whatever they’re paying her, it’s not enough! We highly recommend Balloch House!

Welcoming staff, clean comfortable room. The power shower was amazing after a busy day of walking and sightseeing. Lovely location beside the river Leven with plenty of amenities close by. We definitely would recommend a visit

Room not double glazed and located at the front of the building. It was drafty and noisy. Big TV and good shower. Great location and the restaurant has good quality food with nice staff.

Restaurant
The Boat House is a contemporary restaurant and bar, located in Kilsyth, a short walk from Glasgow and Cumbernauld. The venue has boutique rooms with comfortable seating, a wide range of drinks and meals, as well as a stunning private terrace overlooking the River Clyde. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the food is excellent – particularly the fish and chips!
Food and service was phenomenal! Was out a day trip and glad I stopped by. Staff where professional and made me feel welcome. The chefs have talent and the scenery speaks for its self! Highly recommend! My new favourite place!

Casual atmosphere down by the marina. Some of the best mussels I’ve ever had. We ate at the Grill the previous night (also at Cameron House) and this was far better and much more reasonable.
Jason Schmidt — Google review
Could do a lot better. Been waiting 1 hour+ . Still not asked if we want any other drinks finished the first ones we got. Had to chase the food due to the wait. Had to ask for a steak knife. The table is full of plates a little too long. £26 service charge, what a joke for plates still sitting in front of me. Just No. Got up and went dirty plates still on the table. Food was the only good thing and views. 2 hours been sitting in far too long.
Time Out — Google review
Lunch at the Boat House, perfect after a champagne cruise (highly recommended). Staff were lovely and coped well with a dietary restriction. We ordered a couple of starters and mains as well as drinks. Came to £104 including service for three. Food was very slow to come out despite the restaurant being nowhere near full. The pigeon breast starter was cold and tough. Tenpora veg was delicious but the pizza was really nothing to rave about. Come for the views of the loch and lovely atmosphere. Staff very friendly and attentive but really let down by the food
Jason C — Google review
If there were a picture in the dictionary next to "excellent service" you would see a picture of this place with the manager Leigh in the foreground. A waiter saw I was looking at basketball and decided to strike up a conversation, nothing invasive just enough to feel welcome. On top of this the food is lovely. And as you can see from the pictures, the theme is Carried throughout, with the marina in the background and subtle hints that you are indeed in "the boat house". Strongly recommend.
Filippo Stopponi — Google review
Bright, casual dining, and bar in lovely location. Food was fine, but soup wasn't the vegetable broth l expected & my pizza had a very tough base. My wife's fish & chips was far tastier. Staff were pleasant, but not overly attentive. (I ordered an extra portion of fries, they never materialised, but I was charged. However, this was deducted from the bill.) Having mentioned all the above, we did enjoy our late lunch and afternoon at the Boat House.
Colin Preston — Google review
We struggled to understand the bad reviews?! Such a great place and the location is amazing! The weather was dry so we ate on the balcony and the staff we very warm and welcoming throughout. The fish and chips were outstanding too! Thank you for playing a part in our honeymoon! We won’t forget our trip to the boathouse!
Will Carrick — Google review
Disapointing experience overall, but the biggest shock was the Starters. Serving soggy pieces of torched Hovis loaf as "Bruchetta" in a restaurant in the grounds of a 5 star hotel is NOT acceptable. The restaurant setting is nice and the views are lovely but it was being run by staff who would have been out of their depth working in TGI Fridays. Table booked for 19:45, seated at 20:10. Long wait for drinks - several ingredients for cocktails unavailable. Long wait for starters. 2 options unavailable. Long wait for mains. 2 options unavailable. Didn't bother with deserts. 3 out of 5 options unavailable... Also, the menu online is not what you will be presented with in the restaurant. Your options are far more limited. If they are even available.
James Scott Buchan — Google review
Had been a couple of years ago and it was perfectly fine, but the recent renovation and menu change is a real improvement. Food was great, chilled atmosphere which still felt upmarket and no faults with service.
Clark Walker — Google review
This one is better than 3 but not a 4. Pretty location with views of the Loch and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately this restaurant at the Cameron house is similar to the others in that it is short staffed. The wait to order and be served was too long. Fish and onion rings were very good. Heavily battered (to be expected) but not greasy. The Caesar salad was good but the anchovies were the prominent flavor so if you are not a huge anchovy fan might want to order it without them.
Kathy D — Google review
The Boathouse is a very modern, clean and lovely place to eat. I took my husband for his birthday and we had delicious olives, an excellent steak and tasty fish and chips. It was quiet when we went and the service was excellent - going at 12pm midweek seemed like a good time. P.S the fries are out of this world! As a haiku: Such a feast for two, Steak sizzles and fish delights, Noon's sweet solitude.
Valerie Dryden — Google review
Disappointed. We visit twice a year and this will be the last visit to the Boat House. We had: scallops; chicken wings; soup; torched brocolli for starters. All nice. 2 x chicken caeasar salads, and 2 x pizzas. As lodge owners, we had a buy one get one free pizzas. The chicken added to the caeasar salad was cold and dry. There were an excessive amount of croutons. The pizzas were nice but, when paying the bill we only got either 20% off our total bill or the buy one get one free on the pizza. Shocking. Do not mis-sell us. We feel robbed and won't be back. For a bill of £300 for 4 people, I want to feel fed.

The Pier Kitchen & Bar is a lovely restaurant with attentive service and high quality food. It can be a bit more expensive than some other pubs, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Balloch. They've got a good selection of drinks as well as cocktails and wine.
Definitely worth a visit if you're in Balloch. The restaurant was fully booked when we arrived, but we got a seat through in the grill area which was lovely and quiet. Staff were very attentive from start to finish, and all really friendly as well. Food was brilliant too: good sized portion without being too much, and high quality food cooked very well. There was a good selection of stuff from the specials and normal menu. A bit more expensive than what you'd pay in a regular pub, but it's all definitely worth the money. They've got a good selection of drinks too, including lots of cocktails and a good wine selection. Will certainly be back the next time I visit Balloch 😊

Great experience overall. Service friendly and not bothered about responding all our answers. It’s a plus that all food is homemade - and definitely you can tell. Homemade soup (we had lentil soup) was very tasty and filling. Non greasy or overcooked. Just perfect. Second dish was the steak sandwich. We were surprised in the good way as we were expecting fine fillets of meat in a square typical sandwich bread, instead we received this yummy panini with a perfect seasoned and medium cooked steak. Great menu for a pre-boat trip in Balloch. Will come back!

Lovely seafood and dinner restaurant. Lovely ambiance but is a bit packed inside with a few too many tables. The food was great and service was top-notch, staff were attentive and welcoming. Able to book easily. Ample parking outside.

We’ve stopped here a couple of times in the past for a drink when out cycling but not had food, so on this occasion decided to have something to eat as well. We chose from the snacks / sides section of the menu - and the food was excellent! Service is warm & friendly and a nice outside seating area. Well worth a visit.

We were debating where to go for an evening meal during our stay in Balloch. Based on the positive reviews we came here for dinner 3/8/22. Our server was friendly and attentive, the jug of water was a nice touch and we didn't have to wait long for either drink of food. I had fish and chips whilst the husband had the haggis burger. Both mains were great. Fish was cooked perfectly and I tried some of my husbands burger which was delicious! Probably the best burger I have tasted! For the quality of food and drinks, the presentation and the friendly service: it exceeded our expectations. So much so that we will probably come tomorrow... As I really wanted to try dessert but I was too full. We have spent a week travelling around Scotland and so far this has been our favourite meal.

Four of us visited on a Tuesday at 6pm. Thankfully we had booked because they were turning people away as it was fully booked. It was the first time at the Pier for all of us. The decor was nice and welcoming. Smart but casual atmosphere. They were very busy and staff did appear a bit run off their feet but can't fault the service we had and it didn't detract from our visit. We shared fried pickles, Korean chicken wings and the fish tacos to start. Everything was cooked beautifully and flavors were great although we were divided on whether or not the slaw on the fish tacos was needed. Two felt it would have been better with just the pineapple salsa and avocado and two liked the addition of the slaw. For mains we ordered one beef burger, one chicken burger (no bun) and two of the curry specials, a chicken, sweet potato & chickpea curry. Everyone enjoyed what they had and I can honestly say it was one of the best curries I've ever had. The only negative was that we would have loved to take some home as we were full half way through but there were no "doggie bags" available. I'm glad we tried the Pier and as it's relatively local we'll definitely be back.

Don't know about the others but the fish and chips were amazing! The fish was warm and crunchy, and the batter was not too thick. The chips and mushy peas felt like they were homemade! Devoured the whole thing❤️

Came here for an evening meal and it was just what we were looking for in terms of atmosphere and great food at reasonable prices. The starters we had (fish tacos and duck spring rolls) were stunning. My husband's main was sea bass I think, which he really liked. I had the sirloin steak which was good but a little tough, which was disappointing, but the other bits of the meal (onion rings, chips, mushrooms) were all delicious. The one downside of our experience was the service, it was a little inconsistent in terms of who our waiter was which at times meant we were waiting to be able to order more drinks, etc. Hoping it was a fluke, I would still recommend this place.

I absolutely loved this place - it's got it spot on. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was amazing. Would love to go again. We went for lunch and sat outside, but it also looked great inside too.

Cosy place, nicely furbished. I like the combination of the deep sea blue and tartan chairs. The kitchen is excelent. We shared several sea food starters as tapas. All the meals were very lovely.

Great food, good prices. Friendly staff. We had fish tacos, hummus and pita as starters. Then had prawns and mussels, scallops with chorizo and trout for mains and chocolate tart for dessert. Stunning presentation and good combination of flavours. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor tables. Better booking In advance.
