We ordered food a few times staying at the Ritz. The owner delivered it himself once and the second time we picked it up. The food was incredible! And even though we were recovering from food poisoning, chicken tikka and barbeque chicken with white rice and naan healed us! It was incredible quality food and my partner named it the best food in Thailand :) Very grateful! As we were struggling with finding the menu, I am uploading all their menu that I took pictures of. I was surprised to see such a long menu being there in person!

We've had some really good quality Indian food since we arrived to Thailand (in Bangkok specifically) and this one ranks up there at the top . Very high quality ingredients, smaller than typical portions at many Indian restaurants yet more than enough to satisfy your cravings for a Indian curry dish. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and one order of the chicken korma. Both were absolutely mouthwatering delicious. We highly recommend stopping into this place on your way to Choeng Mon Beach -- another must visit within 2 mins of Akbar restaurant.

One of the best places I have eaten in Thailand. The staff is very friendly and the service is great! The food is amazing, full of flavour and portions are quite big. I got the chicken masala hot, tendori mixed plate and of course, garlic naans. Absutely worth it!

Authentic Indian food and friendly owner to boot! Situated outside the busy tourist precinct it’s only a 10 min cab ride here. Once you finish your Indian it’s only a 2m stroll to the local beach. I will be back to this place.

Decent place to dine in with open air. Clean and hygienic. Friendly staff with good communication in spoken English. English menu available serving typical Thai food and European food like pizza, pasta, burger, salad etc. Overall the food was quite flavorful. Prices were a bit on a high side as compared to comparable restaurants but still worth trying.

Excellent food and service. Bustling restaurant with great prices. Definitely try a cocktail in a coconut. We had a fully fried snapper and it was delicious. Definitely a tourist crowd but felt nicely buzzy.

Eaten here a couple of times while staying in the area. The food was fantastic, and had a great choice from Thai, seafood and everything in between. They catered to a nut/peanut allergy without any issues. The staff were extremely friendly and especially with our young daughter she loved it every time we went here. Great choice of cocktails and a very good price for everything.

Came here at about 9pm and there were only a few people in the restaurant. Service was friendly and food was served very quickly. Unfortunately, the taste has been tweaked to cater to western tourists. We tried all the classic Thai dishes and the taste was extremely watered down. If you’re looking for something authentic Thai, I would suggest another place. However, if you prefer a less intense version of Thai flavours and spice then this could be the perfect place for you. Prices are the usual tourist rate around 150baht per dish. The meal came up to about 500baht for 3 dishes.

We had great dinner at your place. Huge variety to select (esp when you travel with kids). We loved fish with local lemon sauce , raw shrimps and chicken satay ❤️

Stopped off for lunch while a tropical storm passed by. Extensive menu with something for everyone. I had the snapper in garlic butter it was very nice. Indeed, the service was magical. The Thai people make you feel so welcome the land of smiles indeed

Food was honestly just ok. I asked for dishes to be "Thai Spicy" and they still came back medium at best. Had higher hopes for this given the other reviews.

Very nice atmosphere and nice stuff The food was ok, though. We order the seafood pasta and Diavola pizza. The pizza base wasn’t good, it looked to be those ready to eat.

Been here the past 2 years and food and drink was always great. Some how, this year the food and drink quality didnt measure up. Ordered eggs Benedict, caprese panini and both came slightly cold. The panini portion was a lot smaller compared to previous visits and the menu pictures. The coffee was still good but the mango smoothie was thinner and not as tasty. Pity because this was my fav breakfast place.

Tasty sticky rice with coconut milk took my heart. However, I was waiting my order for nearly 40 mins that it a bit strange, so I put 4 of 5 stars. Recommend to visit this place for pleasant atmosphere and delicious food 👍🍚🥢

This place looked good so decided to take coffee and croissants one morning for a change. Coffee was on the mark but the pastries left a lot to be desired. Stale. Had to look for an 'in date' pot of jam amongst the 'out of date'. For me it could do way better.

Best coffee in Koh Samui. Went here quite often during my stay nearby and always enjoyed a perfect Cappuccino. Also the food is so tasty and mouthwatering so do not miss it to come here.

The entire staff at Sala Samui made our honeymoon trip unforgettable!! Everyone was so nice, accommodating, helpful, friendly and the list goes on and on! If you're looking for 5-star service then this is the place for you! All the servers remembered us at each meal. This might have been because we were there during a slow tourism time, but the fact that they took the time to remember details about us personally and also the way we liked our food prepared and our drinks was amazing! We truly felt like we were being taken care of with 5-star service. The room we stayed in was lovely. We received turn down service each night accompanied by a nightly tea. We enjoyed massages at the spa and Emmy & Lisa were incredible. Very well trained and provided a relaxing day at the spa. Mam, one of the servers, was so sweet and asked us each day how our daily excursion was while also remembering the way we liked our drinks prepared. Same with all the servers we experienced. The breakfast buffet was varied and provided lots of different options. All the food was delicious. The beach bar was awesome and the daily happy hour made it even better! We truly can't recommend this place enough, especially if you're looking to stay on a quieter beach in Samui.

Beautiful hotel, very calm and private. The staff is amazing, beautiful equipments and surroundings. We loved to have the choice between 2 beautiful pools. We loved the app that allowed us to be in touch with the management 24/7 and the prompt answers we got every time we asked for something. A nice place to recharge, extremely clean.

This is my favorite hotel so far in Koh Samui! The spa was really nice and I like the chill vibe of the rooms🤍 I would definitely come back here, it’s cleaner than the other SALA location, and more of a family vibe! They also do Santa Clause for the kids during Xmas and I thought the Thai santa was absolutely brilliant☺️ Breakfast is also very nice and healthy options, which is what I always look for. The private pool rooms are super relaxing. Thank you for the great service!!🙏🏼🩵

An incredible resort and I was impressed from the moment we arrived until we left. The service levels were incredible, the food was outstanding and the hotel was beautiful. One of the best experiences in our travels.

Incredible resort with some of the best service I’ve experienced. The team at SALA Samui Choengmon was amazing, they are so friendly, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. At breakfast they knew us and our order, they asked about tours we went on, and they would respond to any request promptly. The rooms are lovely. We were in a garden pool villa, which had an indoor/outdoor theme, tons of natural light, and a relaxing holistic feel. The restaurant was delicious! They have a number of western options and Thai options. Everything we had was very good! The service was top notch as well. The included breakfast was also scrumptious. Good selection of items all from the menu, which is cooked to order, and the buffet. We had an incredible time and recharged our batteries until our long flight home. Thank you to all the staff at SALA Samui!

Everything was perfect. Everyone who worked there was so kind and thoughtful. We loved that we got a „good night drink“ every evening. Our pool villa was perfect! The beach was also very nice. Our stay was amazing. A lot of good restaurants in the area.

Wonderful.place to stay. Staff go out of their way to make you feel like family. Great cocktails at happy hour. Fantastic breakfasts and cooking classes. Nothing like a walk along the beach in the early morning then returning to your villa for a dip in the pool before breakfasting. Wasn't bitten by mosquito's very good coverage. A special tea and treat left in your room at the end of the day, such a nice touch.

Amazing!! We frequently travel to Koh Samui. Finally found the hotel that ticks every box. The beach was a huge highlight. Blue turquoise water and light sand. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was superb. Not many guests bringing a feeling of privacy. Great for couples looking to get away and switch off!

Amazing resort and the service and food was extremely impressive. Great location as it’s quiet and close to other great restaurants if you want to get out of the resort for a change of scenery. Second time of stayed here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Will definitely ho back again

We had the most wonderful time at Sala. The facilities are so beautiful and relaxing, but the staff made it absolutely amazing. The way they treat the guests as well as they treat each other is just special. We would love to come back.

Very nice and very new hotel. Wonderful rooms with great service - for example you get a free tee every night brought to the room. Breakfast is lovely to: buffet and special orders from a menu. The only thing that I have to mention is the aircon that is a little bit louder than normal.

The pool villas were totally private, well kept and beautiful. Staff is well trained, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and the quality high. Best blueberry jam I’ve tasted in a long time. Massage was good, although Aircon in the room was too noisy. The home made chocolate cookies we got at the end were delightful. I had a very pleasant stay and I hope to be back soon. Loved that staff kept everyone hydrated around the pool, nice touch.

This was one of the best resorts I've ever been to. If you're considering coming here do it. I tell you why: From the very first second the staff did their best to provide us with the best experience possible. We got upgraded two categories for a very good price. We got a floating breakfast and transfer as a goodie and what not. This is simply amazing. Never in my life would i have expected this. The service was best in class, every wish was executed no matter what. I can really recommend this place to everyone that is looking to have a decent luxury time. 5* from me, we'll definitely come back.

Now this is a 5 star resort. One of the best I've ever stayed at. Excellent restaurant and breakfast food quality. Stunning rooms and villas. Excellent room service and service around pool and beach area. Complimentary drinking water. The rooms and grounds are stunning and very well taken care of and Choengmon Beach is the best beach on Samui. There are two pools, one is adult only. But no one was using the pools anyway since the beach is so stunning and only 20 meters from the pools. There are plenty of restaurants nearby which are considerably lower priced than the restaurant at SALA, especially the drinks which are way over priced to be honest compared to next door options. However the food is very very good at SALA so definitely worth one or two nights trying out the restaurant. One downside was that the airport transfer wasn't complimentary, it's only a very short ride so might as well be included. Everything at the resort is communicated via an app, it takes a while to get used to but works OK. It is a bit annoying not to have menus in the restaurant though, especially if not all persons in the company have access to phones, but it does makes the restaurant more sanitary. They have a couple of tablets that you can borrow to browse the menu as well. The amount of beach chairs could be increased and the amount of available water sports equipment could also be increased, like a couple of more kayaks and new life jackets.

Service was excellent. Accommodation was clean and as nice as advertised (props to the housekeeping). However, as I'm sure other guests have mentioned, the privacy aspect could be improved as there were buildings overlooking our swimming pool. The buildings were being renovated during our stay so there was no one to look into our room, however wooden extensions to the white wall could fix this issue. F&B was good. Really enjoyed the option for 2 breakfast dishes per person delivered to the room instead of having to go to the buffet. Plenty of options for each meal and in different cuisines. Overall taste and quality I'd give an 8.5/10. I still reminisce over the crab curry and my girlfriend loved the tempura prawns with quinoa (ordered twice). The APP was great, and very functional. Only slight problem on my iPhone 11 Pro was that when I wanted to view my current bill, the screen would be half black (vertically) so I could not see the full details.

It was the best experience we had in any accommodation. Really deserves 5 star rating. We chosen sala pool villa Pros -there service is great everything you order you get it so quick. -communication through there own app make it so easy to order or ask questions. -the food is wonderful, breakfast is diverse and we ordered pizza for lunch, it was delicious. -the beach view is amazing and the plantations make the resort feels like a garden. Cons -we agreed that there is no cons, we thought that the price is high before we arrived, but now it totally deserved it. We are so thankful for the great staff.

We had the most beautiful, amazing time at SALA, the whole experience was beyond what we hoped. Some of the key points we thought were very special: Breakfast buffet was spectacular and made even better by being able to order from the added menu options (great idea to manage wastage and the portions were perfectly sized) The bloody mary and sparkling wine option was a very nice touch also! There were so many different areas to relax between the two pools with cabanas, daybeds and sunbeds and the sunbeds and bean bags on the beach. Then even more in the bar area. It kept it interesting to have a new view every day. We have never spent so much time in the hotel on a holiday! The app was a fantastic way of knowing what was on and available and the messaging side of it was so quick and responsive. The spa services and the free yoga classes. The room attendants obviously took note that we used a lot of water and mosquito coils and kept us well stocked. And all of the staff were just so lovely, friendly, really took an interest and time to talk to us each day and remembered our room number. Having our own private pool was the best way to end a day having a swim before we retired for the night. Overall, an exceptional experience!!! Thankyou so much for having us.

A bit over-priced for what it is. Rooms are beautiful, the hotel is quite new. You'll love the private pools in your room. As for the rest...it's quite mixed. Their beach is full of seaweeds, the main pool close too early (5pm) so as the gym (7pm). Cleary not the best 5-stars in Samui.

We visited Sala in April 2024 as a family of 4. What a beautiful view to the sea, water is so clear , much better than other places on Koh Samui. The rooms are designed in Thai stile, high ceilings and just breathtaking buildings and nature around . Great choice on menu, twice a day “happy hour” on drinks. The staff is so polite, everyone smiles, greets and remembers all the guests. We would like to thank Mr Wee who went beyond any expectations to satisfy our request. Big thank you from our family!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the SALA Samui Choengmon. Could not find a single fault. Service and the resort amenities are excellent. The restaurant serves great food. The cocktails are innovative and lovely tasting. The staff are always so helpful and go that extra mile to cater to guests’ needs and requests. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone, especially couples, who just want to switch off and relax at this little piece of paradise. Overall Sala was good, though not outstanding. pros- staff are incredibly kind, the adult pool is beautiful and quiet, overall aesthetic is nice, choengmon beach is pretty good, the property never felt over crowded Cons - portions of the main property need to updated and look faded, as do some of the rooms (Bathroom floor was really stained etc)Food was hit and miss. Breakfast was solid, while dinner was less so.

I had a great stay here. It is located in a quieter part of the island, which makes it feel more intimate and secluded. The layout of the hotel grounds is beautiful. The rooms are excellent. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and great value. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would consider another SALA location too.

Great location and great service. The different accommodations feature top amenities: gym, gardens, swimming pools, restaurant, bars… all connected to the beautiful Choemong beach. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is oriented to detail: from the seamless check in experience, in room amenities, and an app that actually works to discover the whole experience. The breakfast was superb, and the pool/beach facilities were never crowded. We visited as a couple, but families were having a great time with kid friendly facilities.

A great relaxing (second) stay at Sala Choengmon. The resort is not that big which is our preference. Nice landscaped gardens, beautiful swimming pool and plenty of space at the beach We received an upgrade to a pool villa with all the extras. Very good service, super friendly staff. Overall TOP!
