Ao Tong Yee

Beaches
Ao Tong Yee is an idyllic sandy beach, perfect for swimming and sunbathing in a tranquil setting surrounded by palm trees. The beach boasts white sand of superior quality and is relatively secluded, making it a private haven especially during low season. A clean environment adds to the appeal of this beautiful spot which looks ideal for swimming. Though there is a restaurant on-site, it remains temporarily closed due to the pandemic situation.
If you climb above the rocks on the left side of the main beach you will find a little bay that offers a more private atmosphere. Approximately 5 Minutes by foot and not too hard to find.

Garbage dump beach. The restaurant and people who stay here should be ashamed at its condition.

Even though we didn’t got to see the pink dolphins, we still had an amazing day visiting the local sights. Our guide Nong was amazing! We went on the boat tour firs, afterwards delicious seafood lunch at a local restaurant, then off to the fish spa and lastly the cave.

Highly recommend this tour. The information behind all these things we got to see are amazing. Saw dolphins too just from far but highly recommend... it's a nice tour to go.

Highly recommend Khanom travel for all your Thailand tour and transfer needs! We booked 6 airport transfers and 3 tours with them (two in Bangkok, one in Krabi). The transfers were always on time and there was excellent communication before and after each transfer. It was great to not have to worry at all about how we would get from one place to the next. It was all looked after. The SUVs/vans were clean and drivers were all professional. The three tours we booked with Khanom were amazing! We had the same private guide, Suwat, for both our Bangkok tours and he was fantastic! He also took hundreds of fabulous photos for us throughout the day. You will not be disappointed booking with Khanom. Thank you to whole team for making our trip so memorable!

We had a great experience with this tour agency! Doy, our tour guide picked us up by car from the ferry port, he was very friendly and supportive especially with our two kids. We booked the tour pink Dolphin watching - Khao Wang Thong cave - natural fish spa in the Khanom river, a meal in a local restaurant directly on the beach with great food was included. We were lucky and could find a pink mother dolphin with baby right away! The experienced longboat captain brought us savely to the tiny island of Nui Nok with a unique freshwater hole an a wonderful tempel on top. On the way back we could see impressive „pancake“ rock formations on one of the several several small islands. Our guide Doy told us very interesting storys about the local heritage and customs. In sum we really enjoyed this tour - we highly recommend this agency!

Booked a transfer to Ranong for Koh Phayam. Very friendly staff at the office. Pickup at resort punctual to the minute. Experienced and safe driver. Made two stops on the 4+ hour journey and brought us directly to the pier. Price was the best we found at Khanom. Thanks a lot, well done! Couldn't find the agency earlier because titled in Thai letters on Google maps. Was just a coincidence while passing by the office by motorbike.

Rented a scooter at short notice and delivered within an hour, fair price. Booked a half day tour to see dolphins + fish spa. Great day! Also used Toon for a transfer from Khanom to Khao Sok. Toon is very friendly, punctual, efficient and knowledgeable and is always willing to help with any requests. Very reliable and will arrive and deliver on time. Really glad we found him, made our stay in Khanom all the better. Highly recommended! Thanks Toon, all the best!

(Translated by Google) Nice English-speaking guide, price too high for what was offered for our taste. We just wanted to see dolphins and otherwise didn't want to do any of the usual day tour highlights, such as fish spa, pancake rocks, caves, etc. We were picked up promptly at 7:30 in his minibus. Departure to Laem Prathap beach about 15 minutes, where we went on a long tail boat and looked for dolphins in this bay. The sea is cloudy gray, you can only really see the dolphin completely when it jumps out. I spotted a black dolphin near our boat, but only the hump was seen several times. The black ones are the young dolphins. That was it, we drove on to the next bay, but didn't see any more dolphins and visited the holy island without asking, with the small spring and the mini temple as well as the pancake rocks. We were back home around 10:30. All in all it was a disappointing trip and too expensive for 2000 baht for three (1 child). We can only recommend everyone to drive their own moped to the beach, the road is relatively quiet in terms of traffic, rent a longtail boat with a captain for 1000 baht and just drive out without any guide. Toon is a nice guy, but in retrospect we didn't need him for an extra 1000 baht. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get other tours than this 1/2 or full day trip, which everyone offers at the same expensive price. By the way, his office is in the pharmacy!

We very much loved our time at this super local fish spa. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The food (especially the fish Tom Yum) was delicious, and the atmosphere was very special. These fish are about 10cm long and were in such abundance! Our two little boys loved it. My favorite part about this place is that it seems most popular with local tourists, so it maintains that authentic Thai feel. Plus, they had delicious ice cream with local flavors on the way out :) A perfect activity for 1-2 hours while waiting for our ferry to the islands. We hope to stop back on our return trip!

A garden of fish spa in a farm. This garden is a part of a farm. It is located in the mountain in Khanom District. Though it is far from the city, but it is popular for locals and tourists. The entrance road is dirt road but it is well maintained. Patking lot is available. Fishes here are relative big but they are gentle. Food qnd beverages are also available. It could be crowded on weekedns and holidays. Recommended.

Awesome place to get your feet cleaned by little fish. It tickles so much its hard to keep your feet in the water and don't even try to not let out a scream or two!

Interesting place to have a cool feet dip! Hard working fish!

My parents'favorite place that is perfect for thier feet spa by fishes in nature. Fishes will help you to clean and clear your hard skin on your feet like massage too but first time...if you've never used to...it was a bit quite shock for me...many fishes will go to attack you,guys...you have to be slow to put your foot part to go in water...😅🤣😂🫣🫣...we will visit again...your feet will be super clean. But if you have some wound / blood area or too soft skin maybe it is not your right time to try it. On the way is so beautiful by gardens & farms

A nice natural fish spa. If, you love to let your feet ticket by small fish then this is the right place for it. They also have two pools.

Huge natural fish spa! You have to dip your feet into natural ponds and let the fish do their job. Starts off feeling ticklish but it's super-relaxing as it goes on, my wife definitely enjoyed it more from the start. There was quite a crowd but it's a huge spa, so there was a lot of space for everyone. Liked it so much, and I’m going to keep returning
