Nice little shrine in the old part of Surat Thani. When we visited, there was absolutely no one around,

Nice little shrine to walk through if you’re passing by, but it’s not worth travelling for otherwise. The place is lit up beautifully at night although they close it so you can’t get close by. In daytime it’s nice to sit by for a short while and just relax as it’s very quiet without many visitors.

One of the highlights of Surat Thani is City Pillar Shrine. It's a nice quick stop, be sure to bring a hat and umbrella if you plan to go during the afternoon. There is no entry fee. You may wish to make donations and pray 🙏🏻🤲🛕

City pillar in the white thai architecture shrine , the arts of city pillar is topped with faces of god Bharma ( hindu god of creation) .it's very hot smong the day light but there is big psvillion for escape from heat of the day.

Nice city shrine I stopped by at on my way to the island-park. The marble ground to get to the shrine is burning your feet though as you have to take off your shoes at the bottom of the stairs.

We were told that this is the symbol of Surat Thani. It’s a well kept and beautiful shrine that changes colors once it gets darker. It’s definitely worth a visit to see or photograph...

Nice friendly restaurant well presented. We were a group of four. Everyone apart from me received their order. After enquiring about my order after 45 minutes the reply was pizza will take another 2 hours.I fully understand that things can take considerably longer when the place is busy but why not tell me when the order was placed. Anyway fantastic evening ☺️

I really enjoyed this place. The food was surprisingly good, the service was 1st class and the decor was very westernised. Worth a visit if you are after an all round good restaurant.

I drove 45 minutes to this restaurant, I sat for an hour waiting for breakfast. They took my order and repeated it. They brought my coffee and kept smiling and nodding at me like my food was the way. After a very long wait I had to ask where my food was. They said it was never in the system. I decided to leave after paying $4 US for a coffee and lousy service. Food looked good but I'll never know because the staff really couldn't care. MICHELIN would never approve 🤬

Love it here, I just had a chance to visit this after heard of this place for some amount of time. First of all, I’m not a food fan and I kinda think that the food doesn’t meet my expectation much. But, I amazed with the list of liquor that available in this place like you could fine every single imported beers here. 😍😍

This place is amazing, I've been following them on Facebook and finally got a chance to go, and not dissapointed at all! The location is really nice and plenty of space, beautiful enviroment, decoration and nice music. The menu looks really good, the passion fruit sparkling drink was super good, the pizza could have more cheese on it! But it was fresh and tasty. Want to go again!

Found this place a year ago while waiting for the night ferry and was very happy to discover it had amazing craft beers locally brewed in Thailand 🇹🇭 One year later even happier to find it still here and even more craft beers! Reasonably priced too compared to everywhere else I've found them. Really friendly staff too happy to talk about beer and anything else 😄🙏. Highly reccomend popping in if you're waiting for the boat or just exploring Suratthani.

Really nice enviroment, sweet people and great value for money. We had penang curry, green curry some noodles, spring rolls and chicken wing. The portions are not massive but all of the food was very tasty. If you fancy a meal in smarter enviroment then this is your place

The food was reall6 fresh and light. Imagine all the Thai favors that you've enjoyed, but the lighter and just as tasty version. Pricing was great, and they're and ton of options for all types of eaters.

Good food. You can customize you're food accordingly . This is best place if you're vegetarian and want to get good food in Surat Thani Host is amazing and has excellent communication skills so very easy to order as you want the sldish to be cooked.

We noticed Sweet Kitchen as we were walking by, it looked nice so we went in. We took a seat and menus were brought over. I ordered the Garlic Pepper Chicken and Spring Rolls. My girlfriend ordered Stir Fried Chicken with Basil and Rice. The interior was attractive with tile floors and wood and brick on the walls. There is seating for 20+ inside. We both enjoyed our meals, very tasty! There is one thing, it's just a pet peeve of mine and I didn't deduct from the final score because of it. One of the tables was being used as an office, the owner (I'm guessing) was sitting there working on his laptop. In my opinion the dining area is for customers, not for office work. I find it distracting and it takes away from the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.

We walked past this restaurant and saw a nice and fun interior so decided to try it. The prices are really low compared to the quality you get. Amazing food to be fair. The staff is really friendly and when I asked to recommend a Thai spicy dish, they delivered. Thank you a lot. If ever back, we be here again. Recommend!

Great place for an evening feed. Obviously Italian style food run by Thai’s and it works. Tonight was really busy but they made up an extra table for us. Spaghetti cooked perfectly and they made a special order for my wife that was not on the menu. Nice cold beer and very friendly staff, especially the older guy who was super helpful.

Stopped here for lunch, I had a puttanesca tagliatelle and my friend had a good sized sandwich. Real homemade pasta, reasonably priced too. My pasta was 150 baht and so was my glass of wine. Would recommend the pasta

If this is the best pizza you've ever eaten I really pity you. It's a solid 6/10, slightly better than average. I've had better ones in every single European Country, even New York. And regarding the price I'd go as far as to say there are better frozen pizza options in Germany. Unfortunately the service ignores any wishes you post into your grab order as well so if you're craving a specific, well done, Italian pizza I suggest you look somewhere else.

Oh boy!!! This is the real deal... pasta was magnificent. What a gem of a place. Small, friendly, fresh food. All the hustle and bustle of an Italian kitchen and lovely Thai family.

Come here to relax and enjoy a walk, ride your 🚲 and bring food ( fish food) for the fish. Be on the lookout for big lizards! I really liked this place, great for exercising and playing any type of ball sports. The park have many places to sit and also under some shades.

Cute little park, located on an island in the river. Nice place for a jog or a stroll. I walked all the way around in about 20 minutes. Peaceful there, with just the sounds of birds calling, until a long tail boat comes by, that is. Wow, they are noisy! But the park itself is clean and well maintained. Exercise equipment looks shiny and new. Two toilet blocks within the park.

This is a nice quiet place for a walk around. There are many outdoor fitness machines although I didn’t use them so I can’t comment on the quality, there is plenty paved area for runners and it’s scenic to visit for an hour or two.

A little oasis of nature in the city. Situated as an island in the middle of the river. Picked up coconut and Tamarind nut. Relaxing to walk around and listen to the bird song. Spent just over an hour walking around and enjoying the tranquility.

Turning the whole small isle into the park for Surat people for leisure and exercise is the brilliant idea. You can do many activities in this park from jocking to dining. Garden, building and equipment are in good preserved. And also seem to be save enough.

One of the best park in thai for relax and exercise. A lot of trees. Very nice jogging track along the rivrr. They also multi sport park such as Bike lane football field Basket ball field. Pubilc libraly also located in this park. Best time for visit os morning time.

Fantastic food. Me and my partner both ordered Pasta. It was cooked perfectly with fresh ingredients. The pasta dish with Peas and bacon is delicious. Garlic bread is amazing too

We are an Italian couple and tonight we had the best Italian meal we have eaten abroad! We had the starter "Risto Luca" which was so tasty and for main course we had the Carbonara pasta. We really enjoyed it and we were almost surprised for how tasty it was!!!! For dessert we had a Nutella "tiramisu" and some fresh fruit. It really worth to try it at least once if you come in Koh Samui! You can find it in Chaweng in a very nice zone of the city,  the restaurant is very nice and clean and staff very polite. We recommend it for who wants to taste the real Italian cuisine, nothing better than this restaurant!! Price are not expensive considering the quality of the food!! Thanks to Luca for having treated us in a such kind way, we felt like in Italy!!!

The interior is simple, with no pretentiousness or superfluity, but the tables are wide enough to make you feel at ease, and the service is courteous and smiling, without being overly accommodating. The cuisine is Italian, and doesn't disperse itself into other various dishes like other catch-all restaurants do. The menu covers the basics of Italian cuisine, with a rich selection of classic and fresh pasta dishes to suit all tastes. The Greek salad I ordered smelled of fresh vegetables and was as tasty as it was refreshing. The fresh pasta bolognese I had was a real treat in terms of taste and quality. The quantity and quality of the food are really good value for money. A very good address to which I'll be happy to return to discover other dishes on the menu. JJ

Simply an amazing experience! Luca, Patrizio and their staff are very friendly and super useful about suggestions on Koh Samui tips! My wife and I went there many times for dinner during our stay and all the dishes we tasted were fabulous! My suggestion for you? Great Italian restaurant in the heart of Chaweng Beach. Very friendly management (Luca e Patrizio) and the whole staff ready to suggest the best dish for you. Great choice of pasta, pizza and other typical Italian dishes. I suggest to try their amazing Parmigiana.

We tried takoyaki, tonkotsu ramen & spicy garlic tonkotsu ramen. From the 2 ramens, I like spicy garlic tonkotsu ramen more. Broth is rich but balanced with its umami flavor. Mild spiciness, won't burn your tongue. You'll only get a piece of sliced pork belly & no egg. Even so, I hardly can finish the whole bowl. It's quite massive already. Classic tonkotsu ramen broth is milky & tasted rich, but as I stated earlier, spicy garlic suit my taste better. The special portion comes with 3 sliced pork belly & one tamago sliced to halfs. I love the takoyaki. The inside is melted in my mouth when I took the whole bite. Not exaggerating, but this so far is the best I have in 🇹🇭. Sure enough the owner is Japanese. Last order @ 9 pm. ** revisited & i'm sad the tsukemen is sold out 🥲. will comeback next time!!! Tried chicken ramen in tonkotsu broth. It's equally delicious to the one with sliced pork belly. :) ごちそうさまです!

My favorite ramen place in Surat Thani and a place I always recommend my friends to go try. The quality and the standard is just a huge thumbs up for me. This place also serves ramen with a mix of one of the top spiciest chili’s in the world. The gyoza are freshly done on a daily basis. I have eaten at this place so many times because I can’t seem to get enough of it. The seats and tables at this place is very limited. Each bowl of ramen is made with precision and very strict according to the chefs recipe. They have just recently added more to their menu but their original ramen, gyoza and takoyaki is a must to have when at this place.

Very nice ramen place! I had the black garlic ramen, which was, as expected, very garlicky. They were sadly “sold out” of all the cheap Japanese beers, only had left the most expensive ones. The gyozas were very tasty! The cold ramen were also very interesting, never had them in Europe!

Had lunch here after a long ferry trip to Surat Thani. Was within walking distance from the hotel. Food was ready in just a few minutes, hot and filling. There were a surprising amount of side dishes and appetizers as well on offer. 2 people, 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes and 2 drinks were below 700 Baht. Tried tako yaki, pork and chicken ramen. Can recommend. Especially if you want something different from Thai cuisine but still like Asian food.

Delicious Ramen good menu price is around 139 bht. Plenty of selection very tasty. Service was good quick. No waiting

Wasn't bad, but wouldn't recommend. We had chicken broth with noodles and pork. Too little vegetables, needed salt. Service was good though.

I had the pork pieces which were 10/10. Tasty and soft. The Hakata Ramen were good. But only 8/10 as noodles soft and yummy but broth only average (but still good). Compared to other overseas Ramen Shops like in Dusseldorf the ambient was just OK. More on the reduced cool side. But will definitely come again.

Very good taste but also a bit expensive. We weren't asked about spiciness and would have enjoyed adding some chili to our Ramen. Nevertheless our Ramen (black garlic and especially the Noko Gyokai Tsukemen) were great. We also enjoyed the Gyozas much. The dining room is very minimalistic, same goes for the furniture. The toilet situation is a bit tricky, as you have to wash your hands in the kitchen sink, I'd say it's a bit of a hygiene risk for the food.

First time I tried Ramen, because they have two vegetarian Ramen options💚 One with hot vegetarian broth, noodles, mushrooms, seaweed and spring onion. And a cold one with noodles, "dark Sauce", spring onions and wasabi. The hot vegetarian broth was salty with a good mushroom-seaweed taste. The cold one was more minimalistic but with a rich umami flavor. Mixed with wasabi the dish tasted a little bit like a noodle version of sushi😂 I loved it! For 🌶️-lovers: You can spice up your ramen with different levels of habanero. Super-super best "Gaeng Som" & Pork with shrimp paste in Samui!!!

My husband says this is the best meal he has had in Thailand and he’s been here 3 times. Definitely make your way here if you are visiting this beautiful island. It appears to be the kind of place that locals go to and is absolutely delicious in all ways possible. My mango and sticky rice was out of this world. Hop on your motor bike and take a ride over here. World class.

Excellent service. Good food choices. Seafood was fresh and sizable. Price was mid range not too expensive, but portions ain’t big either. Food was rather sweet. Ambience was local feel. One of the good places to visit.

Useually very good my Chicken with Cahew was not very good. Not spicey & a very small amount of Cashew.

One of the best (I’d say top 2) mango sticky rice I’ve eaten in Thailand, and I ate one every day for a month and from different places and cities. The rice was warm and buttery, the coconut milk was in generous quantity and perfectly sweet, and the mangos (yes, I went two times, it was too good) were perfectly fresh, firm, sour and sweet. There were mung beans in the dish, which is a must and not the case at every place ! The service was warm and quick. The presentation was also perfect. It was also only 120 bahts. I absolutely recommend.

strong suggestion for thais and foriegner. Resturant offer Thailand 's southern style foods with reasonable price. if you look for not too spicy food in samui island, i am strong recommend this restaurant.

I ordered a take away, they served me quickly. Unfortunately when I went home, one dish (noodles with moo daeng) was missing. I wanted to call but there is no phone number. This happened at around 6pm on 19 August 2023.

I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone (MK Big C) as they cheat customers about the bill!!! My husband and I had dinner there and realized they over charged us when we paid the bill. When we asked for the invoice, they just gave the amount instead of the proper invoice. My friends advised me before that this restaurant really cheats customers but I didn't take it serious. This time,I'm sure we're over charged as we calculated the price after ordering food. Moreover, the service is bad. We had terrible experience and would never go there again. And we'll definitely not recommend it to anyone :( I DON'T EVEN WANT TO GIVE 1 STAR!!! But without giving 1 star I cannot leave a review.👎

Inexpensive and fun. Service is spot on. Food comes out quickly. Dirty trays are removed from the table as soon as they're empty.
