Radhanagar Beach, also known as Beach #7, is situated on the southern coast of Havelock Island in Andamans. It is a renowned tourist destination and has been rated as Asia's best beach by Time Magazine. The beach boasts of long stretches of white sand with an average width of 30 to 40 meters and stretches across a length of 2 kilometers.
Radhanagar beach is one of the best beach in India as well as in Asia. It is very well maintained. The coastline is very big & it offers you a lot of privacy even in a public place. Forest track runs alongside beach coastline. Hawkers and salesmen are not allowed inside beach. The beach is neat & clean. Waters are turquoise blue with white sand and watching sunset is highly recommended. It is a bit far from the city and please plan your return accordingly.

One of the best beaches in Asia. Breathe taking views and must visit once in a lifetime. It's so neat clean and you will love the weather and definitely you are going to enjoy here. I would highly recommend you to come everyone here and spent quality time.

It is one of safest beach in India, situated at South Andaman. You can enjoy total day here but some foods to carry. Back to back high tides would come but no need to dare. Without swim you can als enjoy Sun burn on beach side table. Scenic view is also best.
ASISH DAS — Google review
The cleanest beach I have been to on Havelock island. This beach is known for its sunset, which is definitely the best beach sunset I have seen so far in my life. This beach has a lot of tourist especially during the evening time, but its pretty spread out so you don't realize how busy it is.

Very great beach with small spots to chill and enjoy the sea and the beach. Great place to go in the group of Andaman islands to relax and the feel the nature. To enjoy more, we can jump into the sea and enjoy the waves. If you jump into the sea, be careful as there can be big waves sometimes.

No doubt this is the best beach in India. It’s clean, clear waters, white sand. They have neat washrooms, shower rooms and changing rooms too. Don’t miss watching sunset here. Beach is shallow so it’s good for playing, even for kids.

One of the best beaches in the world. Must visit places in Andaman with family members and friends. Very neat and clean beach. It was drizzling when we were enjoying it. It was amazing. The rescue team was always alert. The rescue team was watching everyone. We enjoyed it a lot. After bathing in the sea, a fresh water shower is available for men and women separately. For Each person they are charging 20 rupees. In the parking area, some shops for shopping, restaurants, tender coconut shops, snacks and chat shops, etc are available.

Cleanest beach I've visited in India. Water is so clear it feels like you're in a pool. If you've chosen tour packages they will drop you here after lunch. My suggestion would be you can spend whole day here. You'll never get all out of it.
Kaustubh Jagtap — Google review
This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Asia and we can say this is the most beautiful beach in India. For the unique beauty of the beach this is famous worldwide. There is no restriction on swimming there but when we visited this place last month, swimming was prohibited as a crocodile was seen near water some days before. Paid Lockers and showers are available there. The beach is covered with topical jungles from both sides. There are a lot of huts, chairs and benches scattered around the beach along with the tall trees which can give shade. So this place is perfect for relaxation and enjoying the extraordinary view of nature. There are different kinds of food stalls, restaurants, and shopping points around the entry gate. Foods are allowed to be taken with you and also you can eat them on the beach. To view the sunset it is better to reach there before 4.30 pm so that you can get enough time to relax, see the sunset and leave the beach area before it closes down. Left and right sides of the beach are the perfect places to walk in the evening enjoying the vibe of walking through the jungle as the area is surrounded by dense rainforest trees. Overall this place is one of the centre attractions of the Andaman tour.

There is a reason why Radhanagar Beach is #1 beach in India. One can witness beautiful sunset from Radhanagar Beach. Parking facility is available at the entrance. Pay attention to kids while they are in water because waves at times are strong here and there's sudden dept. Good place to sit back relax and observe creation by nature. Sand over here is purely offwhite, soft and clean. Please dont litter here.
Matin Shaikh — Google review
One of the finest beaches in India! Was once one of the finest beaches in Asia as well! This is also one of the blue flag beaches in India. The beach is quite clean and the water is so clear and beautiful. Sunsets are good over here. The white sands add to the beauty of this place! There are basic amenities nearby such as lockers, washrooms, restaurants, etc. If you love a remote beach with white sands and clear, turquoise waters, this is for you!
Akilan Sundaram — Google review
As everyone already knows this is the cleanest beach in Asia and one of the best beaches in India. And after visiting that you will know why it is so. Best place for swimming and bathing best beach for kids to play around safely. It has a lifeguard post near the beach so don't worry about the water. The water is blue and slightly cold (depending on the time). The best also have changing room bathroom and toilets for convenience. And also have hotels and shopping huts. Can visit all year round

Asia’s 4th best Blue Flag beach. Best place to enjoy sunset. Here you can just sit and enjoy the sea for a long without getting bored

This beach is really beautiful and big. You can enjoy waves here. Not all beaches have waves in Andaman. You can go a little deep too. Secure for kids. This property is Well maintained by the government of India. Changing rooms and shower rooms are available here. Two small shacks are available for food. There is a resort nearby, you can have food there also, but this restaurant is non AC, small closed place, not very good. Food was ok. You can find so many other snacks options, fruits and coconut water. You can reach here by bus too.

Its just beautiful with dense, lush green tall trees on one side and the vast turquoise blue ocean on the other. Its shallow water beach where its safe to venture into the clean water. This is a must visit on your trip to Andaman! You can easily spend 2-3 hours of peaceful time on this gorgeous beach.

Big beach, clean. Crowded during sunset. And this famous sunset wasn't that spectacular. Haven't visited during the day. Some sitting places under the trees. Snack stalls are bit further in the parking lot. 28.Feb was open for swimming. Swimming allowed until sunset. Then everybody are called out.

Without a doubt the most beautiful beach I have visited in the recent past. Amazing beach to witness sunset and crystal clear water. Swimming is allowed here. Beautiful beach to spend time with our loved ones. Try to go a little early to avoid the crowd.

Very good place to take pictures, clean water to take bath as well🤩 Only thing you need to remember, that you need to carry extra cloth and there is a bit of time required to take shower and to change clothes.

Beautiful beach and a great sunset viewpoint. Would recommend getting here early and walking along the beach, the most relaxing thing to do. Stunning white soft sand and bluest waters. Nature is beautiful 😍 Love this place!!
Rashmeet — Google review
Pristine beach, with clear water and white sand, which gives it that aqua blue appearance. Easily the cleanest beach I've come across in Andamans. Perfect for amazing sunset views too. We went during the peak season so it was very crowded. But if you walk further along the shore you are sure to find less crowded areas, as most of the crowd is usually right at the entrance. Changing rooms, toilets and locker facilities available close by, but we didn't use any of those, so can't advise on the quality.
naina pemmaiah — Google review
We had landed up a bit early, in the sense that it was extremely hot on this Hot April afternoon. After a wait, sheltered under the trees where benches made of log of wood . Later we ventured out. If you come to the back and look at the white sand, blue sea and green trees, it was simply awesome. We really enjoyed the swimming as the water is very shallow and for safety sake a area was been disembarked so that you don't go to the danger area. I had invested in swimming goggles especially for this beaches where I know there is lot of marine life not actually visible over the water but as we go under water wearing the Goggles was amazed to see so many Jellyfish floated around. Yes, it's not surprising to find that this is one of the best beaches in the world. There is changing rooms, showering rooms available at a nominal fee. Which is good. There are a few restaurants and tea shops, snacks and coconut, fruits etc available near the parking lot

Elephant Beach

Mentioned on
Beach
Elephant Beach, situated on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, is a lively coastal destination known for its crystal-clear cyan waters and stunning coral reefs. It is popular among tourists who wish to indulge in water sports such as swimming, snorkelling, banana boat rides, speed boats and diving. To reach the beach from Havelock Jetty, visitors can either take a ferry or hike with a guide through lush forest.
It was memorable experience for us as a visitor. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting this iconic beach. Reaching to this beach was a story in itself for us. At first, we planned on visiting this beach by taking the trek route from "Walking path to the beach (on google maps)" point. We reached there but it rained prior to this day and trek was full of mud and swampy. The guides at the entry point were honest and direct; they showed us video of the trek as well. We then decided to take boat from Havelock ferry ghat. It took us around 15-20 minutes to reach the beach. You need to buy locker (50/rs) upon reaching. **This beach was the only beach where water activities are allowed**. Atmosphere was fantastic. There were several water sports(jet skiing, sea walk, para-sailing, glass boat ride), we did try a few of them including shallow water snorkling. It was safe and even non-swimmers can enjoy. You are allowed to stay for around 3 hrs when you go by boat. Same boat takes you back to the ghat. Don't forget to try fruit chaat after water activities. It was delicious.
Sapan Diwakar — Google review
One of the most popular beach in Havelock Island famous for water sports & colorful underwater coral reefs. You can reach beach by boat or by a small trek of 1.8 km through the Jungle. We preferred trekking with the help of guide. The beach is placed between dense tropical forests, covered by tall trees & greenery from all sides, complemented by white sand. This is the only beach that offers numerous water sports activities (para sailing, jet skiing, glass boat ride, sea walk, kayaking & snorkeling) on the island. You can sit back & enjoy the view, snacks & fruit chat after a long day of adventure.

Elephant Beach in Andaman Nicobar is a tropical paradise! The crystal-clear waters and pristine white sand create a breathtaking setting. Snorkeling here is a must – vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life make it an unforgettable experience. The beach is well-maintained, offering a serene escape. However, be mindful of the environmental impact and help preserve this natural beauty. Overall, a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. To reach Elephant Beach, you can take a boat ride lasting 20-30 minutes, costing approximately ₹1000 per person. Alternatively, trekking is an option, taking about 1 hour depending on your pace. It's advisable to hire a trek guide for a more enjoyable experience, especially if you're a trekking enthusiast. Local residents offer an exciting package at Elephant Beach for ₹6000, granting access to thrilling activities like jet skiing, banana boat rides, sofa boat rides, and more. The receipt provided by the counter allows you to enjoy 10 rides, excluding parasailing and glass bottom rides etc. If you opt for only 5 rides out of the 10, the remaining amount from the ₹6000 deposit will be refunded. It's a fantastic deal for adventure enthusiasts, so don't miss out on this exhilarating experience.

Elephant Beach is a true gem in the Andaman Islands. The crystal-clear blue sea and the soft, white sandy shore create a stunning location for relaxation and adventure. Snorkeling here is a must, as the vibrant marine life and colorful coral reefs offer an unforgettable underwater experience. The journey to the beach adds to the charm, with lush mangroves and scenic views along the way. A pristine haven for nature lovers!
Parag Kokane — Google review
This beach is exclusively famous for water sports. You can enjoy a bunch of activities which includes snorkeling, para sailing , banana ride, disco ride, so on and so forth. Each activity costs around 600/-( year 2022) while para sailing costs around 3200/-. Snorkeling is free here but not worth it. You can pay up 1000/- extra to avail a better one. You can Google pay in Havelock before reaching this island or carry cash and pay directly on elephant beach. This beach is highly commercialised for water sports so don't expect scenic beauty here. You can reach here via boats in the morning. While going back you can trek or take the same boat back. Trek is moderate in length, around 2kms. You will get guides on the island. The island closes at 3:00 PM so try to reach the beach by 11:00 AM. That way you can enjoy all the activities. Beach has lockers, changing rooms, food stalls etc. You will get no mobile network on this island. Carry enough cash for all your needs. The water activities are fun. We enjoyed almost all the rides. Para sailing is for 3 minutes. They charge an extra 500 for deep water para sailing where they first put you in water and then fly you up. All in all a great beach for water sports activities.
Shwetabh Shekhar — Google review
It's a great, popular and thus crowded beach. There are lots of water sports activities like para sailing, sea walk, snorkeling, jet skiing and water rides. My personal favourite was para sailing and snorkeling, they were great experiences. The beautiful corals and colourful water life that you get to see under water during snorkeling is amazing. Para sailing provides you with a birds eye view of the islands underneath the gigantic sky and a deep blue calming Ocean down. There are lockers available for personal belongings. Better take some eatables with you as the food there is too costly. The prices of rides and other activities should have been little less, but a great experience overall.

Elephant Beach is a popular destination located in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. It's known for its stunning white sandy beach, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life. The beach offers various water activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, and swimming, allowing visitors to explore the vibrant coral reefs and underwater world. The name "Elephant Beach" comes from a rock formation that supposedly resembles an elephant. It's a serene spot for relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty of the Andaman Islands. This beach can be accessed by boat or by trek through protected forests and mangroves. I have chosen trekking as I have never done that before. This was a great trekking experience. It is of 2 km trek but takes time to reach. If you are alone or with friends, i recommend you to choose a trek as it's a great adventure. Initial few minutes it will be normal trekking then it will be very slippery then trekking in water. I just loved it. However don't choose this if you have small kids or elderly people.
Vandana Indoria — Google review
Small but beautiful beach. But there are some caveats with respect to visiting the beach. It's accessible only via a boat, which charges 250 rs per head for the to and fro visit. You get 3 hours at the beach plus 30 mins one way to and fro the beach each way. So total 4 hours. There are numerous water activities there, they seemed expensive to me. There's a snorkelling activity complementary to the boat ticket but they just show the sand in the shallow water. We tried the 300 rs full mask snorkeling for 10 mins which takes you out to the corals and you see the fishes too. Worth it for me, any other water activities didn't seem worth it to me. But the problem is you can't leave until the other people you are traveling with in the boat are done with their activities, so in our case we were at the beach for 3.5 hours. It gets boring if you do not do water activities. There are snacks etc available on the beach. Also during peak season (October to March) this beach is very crowded.
Chhanda Barman — Google review
Nice beach for a variety of water activities like Snorkelling, water rides, sea walks, submarine rides and boat rides. The beach is situated within the reserved forest. There are two ways to reach the beach. 1. take the road to the hike starting point and then hike for 45 minutes to reach the beach. You have to cross mangroves to reach the destination. Carry water. 2 Reach the boat jetty in the morning and take a boat to the beach. the boat ride costs Rs. 1000 per person and the duration of the stay at the beach is around 4 hours and the same boat drops you back. The beach closes at 3 pm due to non-availability of electricity and other amenities. You can book rides in advance or can book the ride on the spot. Carry a sufficient amount of money in cash as the place does not have a mobile range except BSNL. Locker facilities are available for Rs 100. Changing rooms for ladies are free and for gents, it is charged. Stalls are available for snacks, coconut and swimwear/beachwear. Prices are very high, so better carry your stuff.
Ravana — Google review
The watersports hub for Havelock, Elephant Beach isn't a very big or long beach, but it's beauty comes from being surrounded by a reserve forest. You can get here via boat or trek (with a guide, only when it hasn't rained for a couple days, but totally worth it).
Mehar Singh Grewal — Google review
Another wonderful beach in Havelock, this one just doesn't get as much recognition as the Radhanagar Beach! One can reach this beach by boat or by a trek through the reserved forests and the mangroves. We went by a bus (there are air-conditioned buses but the frequency is low) in the morning at around 8 AM which is a great time to go as it is high tide around this time. It is also less crowded if you go as early as 8 AM. Our guide then took us through the reserved forests and the mangrove trees! This was a nice trekking experience and I have never gone on trekking before. During the trek, we also found several cashew trees, redwood trees, etc. Note: One can reach the beach without a guide as well but you will have to figure out the path by yourself. Guides would be charging you 500₹ by the way. The beach is known for water sports such as snorkeling, sea walk, various boat rides, etc. There are some nice coral reefs and several fishes to look at while snorkeling! Although swimming in the beach isn't done due to the presence of water sports, I bet it would have been excellent for that as well due to the clear, turquoise waters and white sand! A beach that you just can't miss when you are on Havelock!
Akilan Sundaram — Google review
It's a very nice place for all kinds of water activities. Since this beach has no road connectivity the only way to reach this beautiful beach is by speed boat which can be booked from beside the Havelock port. I highly recommend to you try snorkeling in this beach as this place has beautiful corals and lots of colourful fishes

Elephant Islands in Swaraj Dweep (Formerly Havelock Islands) : One of the most popular destinations due to its serenity, clear water and various water sports. Placed between dense tropical jungles, the beach is covered by tall trees and greenery from all sides, which opens into a wide beach, complemented by white sand. The waves are medium and lively ensuring you that the adventure sports like Jet Skiing, Kayaking, Speed Boats, Banana and Sofa Boat Rides are made much more enjoyable. It also offers Dolphin Glass Bottom Boat -An unique experiences in Andaman by letting you watch and explore the rich corals and marine life.

Firstly reaching there by boat is thrilling experience, adrenalin rush, ticket cost 1000/person for both side. You will be given 3 hours to enjoy/explore the Elephant beach. This is a well known spot for watersports in Havelock, scenic with trees and white sand. Plenty of marine life. Lots of water sports options like jet skiing, banana boating, sea walk are available. Locker facilities are available on a paid basis (100₹ as on Aug 2023). Basic food stalls like tea, samosa and fruits are available.

Awesome beach, crystal clear water with a great view. There are 2 ways to reach Elephant Beach, trekking 1.8 km or take a boat ride which will take 20 to 30 minutes. Too many activities in the beach makes it crowded but that’s concentrated in a 100m area. Beyond that it’s almost empty and you can venture out. Snorkelling is must here, provides great view of coral and sea life. Did parasailing as well but it’s just 2 min duration, not worth the price!!

Elephant Beach is a hidden gem, offering a serene and unspoiled coastal experience. The pristine white sands, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery create a picturesque setting. As you arrive at Elephanta Beach, the first thing you notice is the crystal-clear turquoise water stretching out as far as the eye can see. One of the highlights of Elephanta Beach is its stunning coral reefs. Whether you're a seasoned diver or just starting, there's something magical about exploring the vibrant underwater world here. Snorkelling is an absolute must-do activity, allowing you to get up close and personal with an array of colourful fish, mesmerizing coral formations, and maybe even catch a glimpse of a majestic sea turtle. For the more adventurous souls, there are plenty of water sports to get your adrenaline pumping. From Sea Walk, jet skiing and banana boating to kayaking and parasailing, Elephanta Beach has it all. And let's not forget about the food. After working up an appetite, be sure to indulge in some delicious local cuisine served up by the beachside shacks. Freshly grilled seafood, tropical fruits, and icy cold beverages, it doesn't get much better than this. Thank You😊

Hidden beach in Havelock. You can reach there either by ferry which costs 1k per person and other option is to trek for 1 hour and reach elephant beach, suggest to take a guide and go for trek, it’s a wonderful experience. Lot of water rides to enjoy Scuba diving and sea walking can’t be missed. Best place for these activities as the fauna are untouched you will experience the best sight of nature.

Fantastic place, but here's a suggestion if you're good at swimming you will end up saving around Rs 6000/-. They offer a lot of underwater activities for visual experiences such as (coral life and colourful fishes) which will cost you if combined around 6000/- or more. Would suggest you to get the underwater goggles 🥽 with snorkel 🤿 to enjoy the things for free.

Kalapathar is a serene and tranquil beach in Havelock Island that offers an exquisite view of black rocks with turquoise water cutting through them. While it does not have many water sports or adventure activities to enjoy, it is a great place to relax and catch up on your thoughts under the shade of lush green coconut trees.
The beach is good to relax and have views all around. You do not get any activities here but it's perfect to get that spectacular shots.

A beautiful beach with clear water and clean sand. Less crowded which makes it so easier to take photographs. This is one of the must visit beaches in Havelock and one can spend some quality time here. It's a little sunny to visit during light hours. Visiting during sunset is apt and stunning view can be observed. Overall an important place to visit during your trip to Andaman!

This is a truly pristine beach with beautiful aquamarine waters. The waves are gentle and the sea is smooth. If you can make it over the sharp pebbles, the crystal clear water is perfect for swimming and floating. As an added bonus you get to see loads of fish swimming around you. There are toilets and changing rooms available.

It has stunning natural beauty and serene atmosphere. It's s sparkling turquoise waters, golden sands, and picturesque surroundings. It's an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying breathtaking sunsets. However, it's not suitable for swimming due to strong currents, but visitors can still enjoy peaceful walks along the shore.
Smruti Sudha — Google review
Kalapathar beach is a long stretch of white silky sand with big black rocks beside the blue sea. It is situated on one corner of Havelock and is a continuation of beach No. 5. The beach can get a bit crowded in high season, but if you walk further to the south you’ll find yourself completely alone. There is a small lodging path through the green jungle, where once was an elephant training camp, but nowadays all you’ll find is a secluded beach. The water is deep enough to swim and it is not affected by tides. There are some rocks and corals so do take care while going into the water. Kalapathar offers a couple of umbrellas and wooden chairs. There is also a small picnic area with trash bins set in the shade of the trees. In season locals sell fresh coconuts and mango juices, but there are no other facilities.

Personally saying, This must be in your checklist while visiting Hevelock. So clear water and white sand presents exquisite Landscape. Less crowded and best for photography. Kala Pathar Beach in Havelock Island is a serene escape with charcoal-colored sand and turquoise waters. Ideal for those seeking solitude and breathtaking sunrise views, it's a must-visit for nature lovers. Not recommended for swimming, but perfect for tranquility.
Pritam Sen — Google review
Easily the most underrated beach of Havelock. It's a very small beach but the water was so serene, a mix of blue at the far end of the sea, black of the stones and nearer green of the water. Relatively less crowded than the Elephant beach and Radhanagar beach. Didn't get the opportunity to see sunrise here but apparently it's a sight.
Chhanda Barman — Google review
Sea with different colors may be due to corals. If you visit at the winters, you will have shacks to lie down and watch the tranquility. You can drink, eat, sleep right on the sea beach. In the summer months you will get roasted due to heat.
Sandeep Sengupta — Google review
Kala pathar name came from Black Rocks. The beach has Rocks with sharp edges which makes the swimming difficult there and it is a relatively small beach compared to others. This beach is popular for the sunrise view. It is an absolutely amazing place to enjoy sunrise. To have the most amazing experience you have to reach there around 4.30 am when the surroundings are completely dark and then slowly you can see the changes happening on the skyline. Since it is located in a corner of the island, Private cars or rented bikes are the best option to reach there on time. The tropical forests on one side of the road and the kalapathar that decorate the coastline make the ride view wonderful. I loved the road to reach there. The view was beautiful. To sit and enjoy the beach side view and of course the sunrise, there are many wooden seating spaces available. The beach has no timing for opening or closing. But generally people gather there early in the morning. There are different food stalls and chai coffee stalls are opened very early as on demand. Overall it is not a very popular beach but only famous for the sunrise view which makes this place a must visit one.

To reach Havelock, formerly known as Swaraj Dweep, one must take a ferry from Port Blair. Once there, exploring the stunning Kalpathar Beach is a must. Kalapathar Beach is celebrated for its pristine white sands and crystal-clear blue waters, creating a picturesque setting. The lush greenery surrounding the beach enhances the overall scenic beauty, making it a tranquil spot to unwind and enjoy nature's serenity. This scenic beach, renowned for its beauty, serves as an excellent sunrise point. For the optimal experience, it's recommended to visit before 5 AM.

This beach is famous for its scenic beauty. It is a rocky beach and swimming is prohibited. You can spend some time on the shore taking pictures. We went there around noon, post lunch. You get amazing pictures in this beach. You do not have changing rooms in this beach.

An excellent place to hangout in Havelock island, especially for dinners. The location is just beside beautiful beach. It’s breezy during evenings and just perfect for relishing the delicious food that they serve. I am in love with the deserts option. ❤️

This cafe is beautifully located within Blue waves resort, close to the beach. It serves good orange juice, which however is quite expensive. The good they serve is quite good but their service is just OK. Accessibility Score: 1/5. This place is not accessible with wheel chair, and persons with blindness will be able to visit this place only with assistance.

Small cafe-turned-restaurant Since i visited during off-season it wasn't crowded. The ambiance was pleasant, but there were a few flies flying around, which was a bit bothersome. However, the highlight was the private access to a stunning beach with clear water – a perfect spot to unwind while enjoying a meal. The service was quick and excellent, with delicious food. On the downside, the place felt quite hot and stuffy, making it a bit uncomfortable. Another drawback was the absence of alcohol service, which might disappoint some patrons. Additionally, the food prices were on the higher side. Overall, it's a great place for relaxation and good food, but the flies, temperature, lack of alcohol, and expensive menu are things to consider.

On our trip to Havelocks we visited Full moon cafe based on recommendation and found that it was worth the try. What a place right next to the beach . Food exceptional. Service excellent. Menu - had some good selections. We tried dinner and breakfast and were very satisfied. Loved the place

Ambience is very beautiful. Located on a very convenient place. The beach is peaceful. Menu is good with many options but the food is a tad bit disappointing. We ordered prawn salad and grilled white snapper. Both lacked taste and flavours. Quantity is enough for 2 people.

Straight coming to the food and location...its the perfect place with lot of food choices..and the food delivers. The place is very relaxing and laid back..we enjoyed our lunch. Just there was this front office guy and cum waiter was very unwelcoming ...but we can ignore that for food and location..so to mention this place is best for project discussions or work from home activities..

This can be on your wish list if you are here in Havelock. The ambiance is calm and cozy. You can see the retro style book shelf with wooden furniture. I personally liked the way the owners have used some bio ecosystem like instead of artificial metallic lamp they have used the real leaf around the bulb, instead of using the glass paper weight they have used Sea shell, also they have kept a jute bin to throw the used tissue for later biodegrading also they have tried to recycle the used liquor bottles as water bottle. Taking to the food section: No doubt it has good sea food options, you can get good variety. We tried grilled fish with lemon rice & chicken tandoor with raita.

Great beach view while having our meal. Nice ambience. Service was not bad, not good. Okayish. Food was good, the quantity is pretty good for the price tag. The eggplant salad did not have any other veggies. Only fried eggplants. That was weird.

This place was truly worth the hype. All the fish steaks we had were top-notch and so were the starters. Thali was good, but not spectacular. Drinks were superb. The best part, however, was that the cafe opens on to a gorgeous, secluded beach.

Full moon cafe had great Atmosphere and it's at the beach property, it has private beaches as well. The evening are most colourful with lots of light settings, one thing which was missing is the party vibe. This is not hardcore party place. But otherwise good place to hangout. Thier Library and book collections are awesome

Food was so tasteless, we ordered tuna ceviche (l couldn’t finish it), pepper crusted tuna (which we love to eat at Fat Martin but wasn’t even close to that) and triple dip, paid 1300 rupees and left the place hungry. Might be good for a drink with a view.

Seems a little overpriced for the food taste and the place. There are much better places in Havelock, just the sea view and outside seating is good Also the land besides theirs was very dirty and so there were a lot of flies constantly around, seemed very unhygienic

Great shack by the beach which will just wow you with the quality of food. Really fresh seafood and great ambience to just sit and chill. Wish there was alcohol 😄 but that doesn’t take away from what it is. One of, if not the best food on havelock.

overhyped restaurant. food tastes bad and price is very high. food looks just fancy from outside but taste is horrible. service is okay. ambience is good. it is located on the edge of govind Nagar beach sea shore, so one can enjoy the beach view while having their food. parking is available for bikes. it's not visible from main road, need to navigate atleast 50 mtrs to get to the restaurant.
Manoj Lakshman — Google review
We spent almost all our time here for lunches and dinners. The vibe is amazing as it is right next to the beach. Try all the fish dishes on the menu. The indoor seating is beautiful and very comfortable for a good meal. However, they don't have alcoholic drinks but you can get your own. If you choose to sit at the beach they levy a 20% additional fee. But it's worth it. Put on odomos or mosquito repellent and flea powder when you go here. Also there are a lot of dogs here and they are really cute and if you are ok with flea bites then encourage them next to you. Else first eat and then feed them seperately..

Havelock Island is known for its beautiful beaches and divers. One of the restaurants that visitors can visit is Fat Martin which serves mouth-watering Indian and Asian dishes. The small cafe only has three tables, a kitchen, and a few friendly staff who are always happy to help. There's also free wifi available so you can stay connected while you're there.
Fat Martin One the most Famous and Gastronomic fusion food you can get on the island. Every thing they cook is from scratch and absolutely fresh. The ever smiling Steward will deliver you the food with a smile. The place is die for. A must visit place when you are on the island.

The ambiance of the place was really good. The staff are very welcoming. The food was somewhat good. They should improve it a little. I ordered Fish wrapped in banana leaf which was cooked well but it lacked flavour and the seasoning was not good. The condiments given with the fish was a portion of Jasmine rice which was very flavourful. I also ordered crispy squid which had good flavour but was too oily.
SIDDHARTH BARUA — Google review
It's a nice place with very accommodating staff. We had ordered squid and didn't want it to be very spicy. Unfortunately it was spicy we complained to our server and they got it fixed for us. Their chicken noodles were also nice. Over a good place to hangout there are cats in the restaurant and too many mosquitoes as it's an open restaurant. Please carry your odomos with you.

Date of visit: 29th December, 2021 (lunch and dinner) One liner: A pretty decent place to have food from in Havelock Island. We visited this place 2 times on the same day. Not because there weren't other places we had left to try out, but because of our preferences. First, we went for lunch. We ordered Chicken Fried Rice and a Squid dish for the side. The food was pretty good. No complaints. For dinner, we wanted lobster. We went to 3 other establishments in search for lobster, but none were serving it. We came back to Fat Martin after they said they had lobster in the afternoon. We had our Lobster with Plain Rice and ordered Chili Chicken for sides. The food was pretty good. Chili Chicken was okay. We liked our lunch experience better than our dinner experience here. In the afternoon they accepted payment via Google Pay, but for dinner they insisted on paying by cash claiming some "internet issue." A note to people who are not fond of pets. There was a cat problem here. Cats were roaming around inside the restaurant and they sometimes sit under your table or chair. Verdict: Can be visited for the food.

One of the underrated places. Definity recommended. Very economical. We were repeat visitors of fat martin during our week long stay in Havelock. Food - ☆☆☆☆☆ Wholesome. Every thing from menu was amazing Staff - ☆☆☆☆☆ Staff was very polite and well mannered. Service -☆☆☆ Slightmy faster service would have been better. Food recommendation - try out pizzas, desserts or anything from menu it will be amazing. I liked Island chicken curry a lot.

My favorite place in Havelock. We ended up visiting this place both the days we were on the island. The place is extremely cozy with leather seats set on the floor. Perfect for a cold beer. The service is kinda slow, but it totally makes up for it with their amazing food. Their Pizza and Egg Cheese sandwich were all amazing. The shakes and the desserts (Milkybar Spring Rolls especially) were brilliant too. The quantity of fries however were disappointing. The cafe is not too heavy on the pocket. Highly recommend.

While Asani has stuck Havelock and it's raining, all the beach activities are closed and prohibited. Day started with this news when we arrived Andaman/Havelock today. Rained n we were indoor mostly but then what made my day and was the best part was this restaurant. Humble people, clean and calm ambience and great food. While at all other places i was denied lobster due to the rain condition, this place had it. I took the masala lobster and it was amazing. The taste was more than amazing and I ate to my content. This place closes around 10, so last order is by 09:30. Price is reasonable. Food quality is awesome. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food was served fresh and hot. Thanks for making my day as this was the only but best part of my day.

Visited Fat Martin for lunch on 7 October 2022. Small restaurant with 3 tables serving Western option. Ordered a Chicken Schnitzel (INR 410) and a Cauliflower Au Gratin (INR 310). Chicken Schnitzel was crispy and not too oily. Chicken meat was pretty tender. Salad was made up of cabbage, carrots, tomatoes and onions. Lime juice was added to make the salad refreshing. Cauliflower Au Gratin was creamy, but a little sweet. This could be that cream cheese was used. However, dish was delicious overall. Garlic bread was sprinkled with a bit of chilli flakes. The slight tinge if spice made the bread stand out from the usual garlic bread. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a tasty Western alternative to the usual Indian cuisine.

The best place in Havelock . Believe me when I say this. Because I went to few more over hyped places and was highly disappointed.. the quality, taste of food and price everything is good here. We got varieties of sea food to try and all made according to our taste. Unlike other places famous here . Too over priced and very bland food. Wish I had visited this in my day 1 and not wasted money at other places. Really a great place.. loved the ambience here. Only thing here was it was too hot.. actually humid inside .

This is one of the best restaurants. Open both in Port Blair and Havelock Island. All popular continental dishes like pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and crepes are available. In fact, many foreigners say the food here reminds them of the authentic dishes they would get back home. Indian, Chinese and seafood barbeques are popular on the menu too. You may also opt for their daily thalis. Though pricier, the lip-smacking dishes ensure a large crowd of tourists, especially during the peak season. A meal here is highly recommended.

Awesome food. Rich and full of flavor just like Punjabi food you would expect. Really fresh and soft paneer and good quality seafood make the place suitable for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Dal thadka was good too. We tried a few items from their continental menu section, and they didn't disappoint us either. The only negative was the comfort inside the place. The seating was perfect. But the roof is made of metal sheets, and there is no false ceiling or even a layer of fabric ceiling to cut the heat. They did have a fan that sprays water but actually that made us a bit of uncomfortable as the mist was eventually falling on to the food and no idea what kind of water was getting sprayed..even though the quantities was less.

Anju Coco Restro is a must try place in Havelock. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻Good food at a justified price. We tried veg cheese sandwiches, a set breakfast (omlet), banana chocolate pancake and hot coffee. The place might feel hot during the day so try visiting in the morning or evening hours.

We went with high hopes. We are from Mumbai and love good food. We travel a lot and love to explore the food in the places we visit. Sadly, Anju Coco was a big disappointment in terms of food as well as service. We ordered chicken momos and fish tikka as starters. Momos quality is good. The fish tikka was not upto mark. Solt was less and the fish was not as tender and juicy as it should be. We managed by sprinkling a little salt on it. The biggest disappointment was CRAB MASALA. The crab had hardly any meat and again salt was less. The masala had not penetrated the crab. So the meat was with out any taste. The preparation was not upto the expectations. It is understandable if the pincers have less masala but the the body which is cut into four parts should have perfect masala with perfect salt. When we brought this to the attention of the pony tailed waiter he gave us the excuse that 'the masala and salt can't get into the meat'😁 We eat crab regularly, so this sounded like a joke to us. At the billing counter we asked for the owner and were told that he sits in some other place. He said I am only the cashier. So there is no responsible person to deal with any complaints. He said if we brought it to his notice earlier he would have changed it. And he asked us to come again the next day and taste their continental crab preparation.😮😉 We said that we had informed the waiter but he didn't take any action. 'Naam bade aur darshan chote '. We are definitely not going back. Don't go if you want good food. Regards. SMS From Mumbai.

If this is the #1 restaurant in the island, I'd suggest go eat to the cheaper looking restaurants. I guess you'd get the same quality of food at a way cheaper price. We spent 120€ for two people: 2 starters, 2 mains a shared brownie and their cheapest indian white wine. Do yourself a favor and don't you dare ordering calamari. They were absolutely horrible. Loads of oily breadcrumbs and little squid. The little squid they used it didn't seem to be fresh anyways so... The tiger prawns were more like... kitty prawns? In 500 grams they were 11 of them. That gives you a clue of how small they were. The lobster... Wasn't cooked in the way we would have expected but the taste was ok. Nothing special. The brownie: please guys, stop putting that burning stone. It makes the syrup get burnt, it chars the brownie in a not pleasant way. PS the waiters were super nice and attentive.

Good ambience, friendly service. Veg food isn't very good. They have all veggies but don't know how to cut for a dish like pasta and what veggies to use. For example, we got carrot and beans in our pasta which looked like they were cut for sambar, lengthy and fat. This is the first time to see beans in pasta. Perhaps a good choice for non veg and cocktail patrons.

Everything about the place is perfect. Yes! The cafe is toward bit expensive side of it, but everything on this island is costly as compared to Port Blair city for apparent reason. But don't worry! The food & the service here is top quality. The food is very tasty. Better than any place in Havelock currently. Here we had chicken Masala, which was apt as per our requirement. They have different fish varieties. Which tasted amazing!!! I would rather choose this restaurant than any other hyped cafe & restaurant in Havelock.

I rate this place as the best seafood restaurant in Andaman & Nicobar island, I tired sea food in Port Blair, Havelock, Neil island but nothing can beat the taste of Golden spoon, i had lobster, fish & crab here and all the 3 dishes were yummy😋

A very welcoming restaurant with first class hospitality, followed by a delicious meal of lobster cooked in the traditional Andaman way at a very affordable price. Would highly recommend.

I went there to try lobster for the first time and it was a HUGE letdown. There was no quantity of lobster in the dish, just boiled veggies. The fish was decent, but not value for money. The attitude of staff was just ignorance. Just a nod and on their way. No accountability whatsoever. If you want food, like real food, keep scrolling cause this is just not the place for it.

I ate tandoori fish, grilled fish, chicken curry at different times. They prepare the order according to your choice. They have a specialist Chef who prepares the food in front of sitting area. Delicious and tasty and perfectly grilled foods items. Just try atleast once during your stay and thank me later.🤗 Top quality service by the staff and very friendly. Fresh sea-foods are available at very budget friendly.

Amazing food provided. Any dish out there is way reasonable comparing to other high costs restaurant. The taste is just mouth watering. Mr. Shubhankar Biswas and Mr. Abhay and samrat biswas were great in assisting the right choice of dish according to my taste. Anyone who seeks for good food with reasonable price should visit this place. The kitchen member staff Mr. Sasi personally came forward to ask about the quality of the food.

A small joint with a cozy beachside shack feel. The food is awesome, we tried Red Snapper and Crab 🦀, both were super delicious. A must visit @ Swaraj dweep (Havelock).
