The nature is great, but the accessible part of the park is not worth the entry fee (100 TBH for foreigners + 20 TBH for the scooter). The only thing in the park (which appears to cover a huge area on the map) is 500m of concrete path leading up to the waterfall. That's it. The whole visit takes 10 minutes. You can actually see the waterfall better from the highway. It's virtually dried up during the dry season. There is supposed to be another trail to the waterfall through the forest (as per the map at the main office), but that's marked with "no entry/danger" signs. It's readily apparent that the signs are there cause the trail isn't maintained. The staff are friendly, but they don't speak or understand any English. I had a (Thai government-sponsored) free-entry pass, but they didn't understand what it was and made me pay anyway. The one positive is that the ticket is valid for the Ponrang Hot Springs next door (you'll still have to pay another 20 TBH for actually using the hot springs).

Definitely Rama 5th vibes! Simple but elegant. There is a room that isolated from the main house but connect with 30m. bridge and 10m. above ground. Anyway staffs are not attentive and they do close at lunch. Dont forget to visit marble Bhuddha near by.

It is a famous water falls of Ranong. It has nice scenery but it is not hard to walk and reach the view point.

A beautiful waterfall to visit in Ranong. 20 minutes by car from the city center you will see it directly from the road. It is high so you can snap some shots without entering the national park where you have to pay a fee 100 baht + 20 baht for a car parking. If you still wanna explore inside COVID rules are applied strictly here: they measure your temperature and ask to scan a code for way in and out too. Wear your mask. Inside there are social distancing reminders. No swimming due to Covid. However it’s a great place to visit without tourists. You can fully enjoy the peacefulness of the place. There are 2 tracks: natural for hikers and a concrete paved road for the rest. This is the second time I have seen so many beautiful big butterflies. The first one was in Khaen Krachan National Park. The weather in rainy season changes drastically so be prepared for short rainfalls.

Small and clean place to be. Gather around and see the fascinating falls which can be seen miles away. 20THB per person. Nice view. Built in dam for those who like to get wet. Climb up for another 350 mtr to see the falls view. Below it got small built dam where fishes diminates it. If you love to climb more to view point, please have your shoes on ya because it will be slippery. So, chill and enjoy!!!

Amazing waterfall it's so high and you can see it come right from the top of the mountain. Lovely short walk from the car park we never made the view point due to heavy rain worth a visit.

Went in to look at the waterfall, maybe just post a sign or tell people when it's worth seeing. I guess there had not been any rain lately so it was not at all worth going to, and the fee .. including the insulting foreigner fee

Super accessible. It’s just by the highway. A 20-minute motorbike drive. Went there at earlier time to escape the crowds. There’s a fee which is not that bad and includes two more spots with the ticket.

A very very close walk from the packing lot, water is so clear and cold and refreshing you can swim here or just sit around on the rock. It have both shallow and deep spot. A nice place to both stop and take a picture and go or spend hours in the water.

Us usual foreign tourists have to pay 100B to visit. However this waterfall can be visible before entry gates. Medium attraction, not much powerful waterfall during dry season. Pay 100B just to walk 20m it's not worth. Local people come with water tanks to collect water probably free of charge. Free toilets in area is a plus.

It’s a peaceful place away from the town center. Can do boating around the water but I did not do it instead I ask the boat owner about the accessible part up through the canyons. It was amazing!

Very quiet at time of visit. People came and went, mostly to feed the fish and take photos. We had a relaxing afternoon napping on a mat that was offered from a very kind gentleman. The mat was from one of the gazebos which we returned after use. Great place for kids and there are some paddling ducks in the lake. Nice place for picnic and enjoy time with family. This place is surrounded by nature which used to be a mine. After the mine was closed they turn this place into a tourist spot. There are a lot of fish here from tiny to big fish. There are small shops across the street selling fish food so you can pet them. On the left side there is a hiking way to get to the top of mountain.

Good place, nice and quiet. Green water among the hill. Surrounding with nature. In the water has so many fish that you can buy fish food around that place and feed them. There has parking lot on the road opposite side of ranong canyon with few street food and beverage shop. The location is not so far from another 2 attraction of Ranong which is Som Pann dam and hot spring.

Disappointed, but it was very clean. I cycled from town to get there. The ride was definitely better than the destination. It is a nice place. There is no 'canyon' to it.

A small pond further from RaksaWarin, clear enough that you could see a carp in the pond. There's water bicycle but I haven't try. There's toilet as well, mostly clean. A cat is super cute and friendly < my true love

Its a national park therefore its not so convenient regarding shops, restaurant and whatnot. It is peaceful and quiet. No big commercial boat and ferry. No tourist flocking everywhere. No rows of souvenier shops. You have the boat to yourself and your company. You come and go as you please no exact schedule to follow. Andaman sea is beautiful as usual.

The place is controversial. It's a nice park with trees and flowers and it's good to walk around. There are statues and ponds but they are not being maintained. The statues require cleaning and the pond is just awful, it looks like it wasn't cleaned for months or even years, I don't think it is even safe to touch the water here. We tried to get inside the palace at 15:40 but the staff didn't allow us because it is closing at 16:00, which is kinda strange.

With the 100 Bhat ticket price for a foreigner was disappointed that I was not allowed to take photo's inside the building.

Beautiful and elegant well preserved teak palace. Open 910 a.m. close on sharp time at 04:00 p.m.( not 04:30 p.m.) and also close on monday and Tuesday. There is a time schedule for a guided palace tour . Check time schedule at my picture.

Place to seeing landscape. Only spend time here about 15 minutes and you will start to get bored. The building has a fee for entrance and nothing much in there. If you are interested in historical place then you have to visit here

The last permitted entrance is at 15:10. (@November 2020) Entrance fee is 50 Baht for Thai (Adult) / 100 Baht for foreigner. The building outside looks gorgeous. The steps around the place were slippery.

I liked how clean the hotel was and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor and had a fridge, air con, fan, water boiler and a balcony. We had the nice pool all to ourselves for the afternoon. We only stayed for one night as we headed to the airport the next morning. You can order a taxi to the airport at the reception (around 30 minutes to the airport; 200 Baht/person). Breakfast is rather Asian, quite a large choice. There are mini markets, 7 Elevens, the Old Market and restaurants nearby, you can walk there in around ten to 15 minutes.

Good location to be on the walking street the room is clean, Really wort to stay. The experience is over my expectations; the room is very newly renovated with all necessities. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, I had a really good night sleep waking up refreshing. The breakfast bar got good variety-western& local. The staffs are very polite and helpful. Location is just at the centre of the town.

This hotel have 3 start which by thai standards is unfair. Most 3 star hotels outside of tourist resorts are bad, this is not. Everything is perfect, if I need to complain it's about the thai style breakfast. Restaurant is very good, location is very good and rooms are excellent.

Good location. Near to restaurants and pubs. There are outdoor swimming pool, small gym and a game room with a pool table. Nice to stay with children and family. Room is comfortable but I do not like the idea of ventilation from bathroom vented out to corridor. The restaurant adds much positive impression to me. Good breakfast with variety of Thai food, however, too few choices for western food. Good selection of wine and beer. At the price, this place is good value for money.

The stay exceeded my expectations, breakfast was varied with both asian and western choices, to be fair if you are visiting ranong I would go for the Asian choices they were all delicious. The pool was refreshing and much needed, the facilities were wonderful and the service impeccable. We loved the small touches of the welcome egg which is basically a onsen egg. Will highly recommend

Excellent hôtel for a family with a big swimming pool with toys and a play room. The breakfast is amazing. We decided to stay a second night because it was so great for a break before continuing our journey.

Nice clean modern rooms. Have a good selection of wines and beer on sale. Even have plastic glasses so you can enjoy your drinks by the swimming pool. Good breakfast buffet, which is in the restaurant by the main road.

This hotel doesn't want you to check in at 12.15 and make you wait until 2 pm, despite a deserted parking and lobby. According to the front desk they start cleaning the rooms at 12.00 so that they are available at 14.00... hard to believe ! Decided to go somewhere else. Overall not a welcome you would like to get after a long drive from the North.

Yes on the face of it this place looks basic but we were given a very warm welcome and our food was delicious. A welcome break from Thai food. I had a very delicious burger and hubby had the best pizza he had had in Thailand. Even nicer by the fact it was washed down with a very nice red wine. Good luck in the new venue!!!!

Came with the family hoping to find something more western for a break from the Thai food we have been having. We weren't disappointed, my family had burgers and pizza which all seemed happy with. Personally I had the Korean fried chicken which was surprisingly close to the bonchon chain restaurants I enjoyed in Bangkok Pricing was bit more than what you'd spend at a local Thai restaurant but that is standard here for this type of food.

Had evening drinks and very tasty seafood salads and gang som fish curry from a long menu of Thai standard dishes. The cook came out to take my order and tell me exactly what was in the salad. Prices to be expected from a good location. The building has a back terrace where you can watch the sunset, which is hard to find on this street. When busy there is live music.

The restaurant is not open during the day. It's an evening venue. I have not been in the evening, so I really can't give an honest rating. Farangs visit by way of a courtesy usually Wednesday and Sunday afternoons and self service with an honour system.

We had salmon in pepper sauce, seafood pasta, feta cheese Greek salad topped by a bottle Cabernet Sauvignon, Australia Yellow Tail, all in all a very enjoyable experience.

Not only excellent food, also specialty items you can only get here. The family is the 3rd or 4th generation Chinese from Xiamen, China. Family name Huang (黃），ancestor was a Qing Dynasty’s high ranking officer. Need more time to explore the history further. I really enjoy the superb food.

One of those exceptional places tucked away in Ranong. We went here for dinner after one VERY long scooter trip and this place exceeded my expectations above and beyond, to this day i refer back to this restaurant. The owner/chef was so accommodating and friendly. He came to check on us several times and seriously served the greatest food. I asked him where he became such a skilled chef and turns out he use to be a chef in hotels. He brought us dessert on the house to end of the night. A remarkable and unforgettable experience.

Wonderful restaurant with real Italian food and so much choice of dishes for a very reasonable price. The waitress was very friendly and even brought us cakes with candles for my friend's Birthday. The food was so delicious!

This is indeed an excellent place. Being vegetarian in Thailand is usually difficult but here there is ample choice of delicious options. My wife is Thai and she said the sea bass was delicious. She had a mango mint lassie that was unusual and tasted great. The virgin mojito was the best I have had. We live in Thailand and finding a restaurant like this is a delight. Do yourself a favor when you are in Ranong and eat here.

Incredible place. Terrible shame though, this chef could be running a large restaurant in a big city so lots of people can enjoy his food! Lamb ragu with homemade gnocchi and the cheese and spinach spring rolls are an absolute must! Wonderful service, the server was so happy to help and made lovely cocktails for us. When we couldn’t get a taxi the chef and server even insisted they took us back to our hotel on their mopeds!!! We will cherish this memory. Thank you so much for a beautiful evening xxx
