Overall, one of the best restaurants we've been to in Romania. It's not just the food that does it justice, it's also the location, the atmosphere, and the staff. Situated within Cantacuzino Castle, the restaurant has a terrace and multiple seating areas. You can opt for one of the detached rooms if you're looking for a more intimate experience. The food is spectacular in every aspect. The presentation is stunning, the taste is incredible, and the portions are just the right size. What makes it even better is the wine pairing options. Canta Cuisine offers a wide selection of the world's best wines. Expect to pay the premium. The staff was incredibly friendly from start to finish. We had a great time interacting with our server, who was very knowledgeable about the dishes and the wines. The service itself was flawless. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top class restaurant experience.

Really great place to enjoy a bit of silence. You are surrounded by nature with an awesome view of the mountains. We stayed on the terrace because we wanted to enjoy the view but the restaurant is just as beautiful. Friendly personnel.

Best view in Busteni, with very nice waiters. + food is verry good and the waiters are so nice and the service was good - it was cold to eat on the terrace even if they have heaters ( but Mihai , the waiter, was so polite and ask as if we want to move inside) just the view was so beautiful that it deserve to stay outside

Exquisite location (still you have to pay a 20 ron fee per person for entering the domain Cantacuzino) and very very good food. Correct portions, one entry and a principal are too much ;) Good service, quite high prices but with the view and the quality of the food they make sense. To be tried if you get to Busteni!

I feel like this restaurant is a bit overrated, the food is good but nothing special, the service is quick but the views and atmosphere are nice, which in part justify the price as such a location is probably expensive. Also some of the dishes were not available, about 3. I would probably not come again not because it's bad but it's a bit pricey and not worth it to visit often

We where almost every year here since 2014 when they had the great chef Romică. We tried last Sunday to go and have lunch with our kids, but the guards at the entrance tried to charge us with 80 ron for the entrance on the domain!!!! So we turned back and went elsewhere …. Come on guys, what is going on, 10% is not enough anymore?

The first thing that I noticed coming in is the beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant has two different rooms and each of them is decorated differently. The food is tasty and beautifully set on the plate, they really pay attention to detail. The drinks menu is extensive and of high quality (leave the car at home so you can enjoy yourself is my advice). Lastly we were served in a memorable way by Mihai - he’s knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, but also easy to talk to and fun, we shared some laughs over the course of the dinner.

Excelent food, award winning chefs and Daniel from the staff was amazing. We loved the home-made pasta, the stake and their signature cakes, which we came back for the second day again. The restaurant also has the most breathtaking view of the mountains and chic tables with flowers. A 5 star location and very select, perfect for a dinner at a castle. Will definetely return!

Tasty food, not very generous portions. We entered 6 people, found a table of 5 and the waiter pointed out that they only have 5 chairs for that table. Apparently it was fine after we asked some other table to lend us a chair. After that, it was fine, until the desert. We waited around 30 minutes for papanasi and one lava cake, and they arrived cold after all that time. Also the waiter was hard to find for any extra request along the lunch.

We ate burgers and they were so fresh and delicious, one of the best burgers I ever ate! Lemonade was also very, very tasty. Overall, great service and food. Also the view was the best, with the Heroes Cross of Caraiman mountain

The service was exceptional as well as the food. I can't recommend this place enough. This restaurant should be the standard and an example for all restaurants in Romania. Prices are very decent and food is tasty. I ate spaghetti carbonara and it was delicious.

We arrived in the city Busteni and decided to visit this restaurant. We didn't make a mistake. The restaurant is quite large, many seats, two floors. We were served by a female waitress, she took our order, everything was fine. We ordered two cocktails, chicken with vegetables, chicken wings with potatoes and a salad. The food was really very tasty, well prepared! Good prices! But, unfortunately, there were also several unpleasant moments: 1. We waited for food for an hour, that’s a very long time! 2. Broken dishes are not good for a restaurant. 3. The vegetable salad was cut haphazardly (it didn’t look very good)! The whole moment can be seen in the photo. But the food was really great, thank you!

Overall satisfied with the location, atmosphere, and diverse menu. However, the service was quite inattentive and one of the mutton dishes ordered was oppresssively salty/fatty. The other dishes ordered were pretty delicious though

Good food, decent prices, nice staff. I saw the reviews regarding the staff but we didn't experience such behaviour. We ate here twice, we were served by 2 waiters but both were very nice and with their smiles on their faces. As i said, the food was very good and it came very fast on both occasions. Very nice view to the mountains on the terrace. I gave only 4 stars because the 1st we ate inside and it was really, really hot.

Overall good place to have dinner. Special BBQ chicken with bacon and mozzarella was nice (recommend!) but other dish with quarter chicken was a little bit too dry (not sure if it was left in oven for too long or something else...). Nice atmosphere and good professional service. Again, worth a visit.

I went yesterday at this restaurant, and I had a delicious meal. I ordered a burger which came as well with potato chips and some ketchup-mayonnaise sauce. The burger was delicious and quite big, it had the buns fluffy and the meat was great. The only thing that I didn't like is the service, because from the time my order was taken to the time the food came, it took 50 minutes. I felt a little bit pressured because I came into the restaurant at 20:50, the food came at 21:50 and the restaurant was supposed to close at 22:00. I was not pressured by any means by the waiters, but I just didn't feel good make them wait for me, even if it wasn't my fault.

La etaj has very friendly staff, diverse menu and very tasty and we'll cooked food. Ended up going here to eat every night during my holiday. Food is grouped by protein type and menu și very descriptive of what calories are in the dishes. Would highly recommend going at least once there if you visit Busteni.also the view is outstanding

The restaurant has a nice terrace with a view towards the mountains. The service was quick, the prices are good and the beer is very cheap in comparison with other restaurants in the town.

The restaurant itself looks nice enough, though a bit eclectic in style. The staff is friendly. The food is ok, though nothing to write home about, while overall very expensive for what it really is. Be mindful that the prices for most dishes are expressed "per weight", not per portion.

First of all, the service was one of the worst we’ve had. Coming into the restaurant, the waiters were avoiding eye contact so we really had to make an effort to speak to them and then bad tone to just tell us to sit at one table that was free. Not even a “hello”. We had to wait for the food for about an hour which we didn’t have with a young baby. Eventually we went outside only to get an average food lacking taste. The couple sat next to us complained also about the poor meat quality that they couldn’t even eat. The view of the mountains was nice but the windows were so dirty that you could barely see out so that was a shame. One toilet for ladies and one for men, dirty. Overall disappointing experience. Also not child friendly at all, lucky with the small piece of grass in the front where the baby could play.

I am french and a gastronomie lover, I always love to try Michelin stars restaurant et other kind …. and I really don’t understand people who give bad review on this restaurant ! The chef do a very good work we’ve been 2 times and all courses was great ! And prices are very reasonable ! This is not a typical restaurant it’s a fine dining restaurant, even weathers are sympathetic ( very rare in romania lol ) this restaurant deserve a 4.5 !

Loved the food. Surprisingly great dining experience for a boutique restaurant. Their hot tub is also amazing. Great view. We had their Beet carpaccio, mushroom cream soup, beef stroganoff, chicken and chocolate dome. Each thing was beautifully served and delicious. Service was also friendly and quick.

I totally recommend Kayus Restaurant, the pasta is absolutely delicious (coming from a guy who has tasted pasta in most places in Bucharest and lived in Italy for some time now). Also a must try is the reinterpretation of the local desert “papanasi”. Well done chef! The table service is very good, friendly people working here, got a lot of local tips and information. 5 stars for sure.

Live music was like really loud karaoke the only wine by the glass was 32 lei for a small, airplane bottle that you can buy with 5 lei in the store.. so really cheap and low quality wine sold at an incredibly high price Restaurant room is small and badly ventilated, however they offer people to smoke hookah I had pasta and while not necessarily bad, there was nothing outstanding. My friends had the same experience.

I could not recommend this place more. Yes, it's tiny and yes, it may not catch your eye but please give it a go!! I shared a Capricciosa with my friend, it was served quickly, with sesame sprinkled crust, melting cheese 🧀, fresh olives 🫒 and ham. It was warm and so delicious, beat all top chain restaurants I tried before. Keep it up and thank you for the lovely customer service 🥰

At 5 pm there were only 2 slices of Capeiciosa available. Pizza tasted OK. Staff was not very helpful. Good view over the mohntains.

We have been on our way to sibiu, we have chodem the place because of high rating. I've asked service if I can pay by card, i recived information that there is only cash payment. I've went to nearby ATM, withraw cash and came to order chosen pizza. I've paid,but recived no bill. I've been waiting almost 50min, and after that time i haven't recived my order. I was amazed about such a Long time od service,because in most cases i recived pizza in 15min... I resigned for my order and recived money back, but I can't understand such a long time of service,especially when employees had time for cigarette and phone calls. It's a pity,because pizza looked very testy,I was starving and it was the only opportunity for as to eat... It was the only one disapointing situation during my one week trip in Romania.

The pizza is full of flavour! We enjoyed both the vegetarian options and the ones with meat! Very good!

Very good pizza, incl. by slice. Vegetarian options as well. Too bad they didn't have draught beer though they advertise it. All in all, just the perfect stop before your train leaves.

It's a little pricey, so at first look I was skeptical about the place. But when you taste the pizza, it's worth every penny. This is the best pizza in town by far!
