Seafood restaurant
Las Rejas is a seafood restaurant located in Bolonia, Spain. The restaurant specializes in locally sourced fish and seafood dishes as well as paellas and meat dishes. The airy glass-walled venue offers scenic views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Super friendly staff and very helpful. We had the small salad and it was plenty for two. They recommended the 'off menu', grilled tuna and it was excellent. Lemon cake and caramel flan with coffees was a great finish. Highly recommend!

Great FRESH seafood, but be prepared to pay for it. 14€ for 5 pawns and 9€ for the salad…? I would say the prices are more in line with somewhere with a beach view and not a dusty road. That said if you don’t mind the lack of view, the food here won’t disappoint if you don’t mind paying over the odds

Amazing restaurant! Best fish I have ever had. The service is excellent. Strongly recommended 👏🏻👏🏻
Jennifer Williams — Google review
It's clearly a great and popular restaurant and we enjoyed it. Sadly my wife's Tuna steaks were not so great. The restaurant reduced our bill for that item by half, and we have no complaints. Its just a shame as we had heard amazing things about the place. Great service with friendly staff. I am sure we will give it another try on our next visit to the area.

Absolutely delicious food! Nicely decorated and friendly staff. Gets fully booked pretty fast, so booking in advance recommended. The place is more fish oriented but the meat dishes are great as well. Strongly recommended.

Restaurant
Restaurante Otero Bolonia offers a delightful dining experience with its scenic terrace overlooking Roman ruins and the Strait of Gibraltar. Whether you prefer grilled or fried fish and seafood, this restaurant is sure to satisfy your cravings. Before visiting, it is advisable to book a table in advance to avoid any inconvenience. The food is delicious, the ambiance is pleasant, and the service is outstanding. Additionally, one of the top highlights of this establishment is that the head waiter or manager speaks excellent English.
Seafood is always spectacular here. Great service too and what a beautiful setting next to the Roman Ruins. Try the fried eggplant as a starter, very tasty. Portions are big so can easily share.
Gerhard Geldenhuys — Google review
We were on a road trip and we visited the Roman theatre and the Roman baths. My brother recommended this place in the area. The challenge when we arrived was that they needed a reservation. They said everything is fully booked until 4:30 (the time was 3pm). So it was a big problem for us to wait or go and come back after 1.5 hour especially that we have 14 months old. To cut a story short, after we pushed hard, they gave us a table. Later we realized that there are some tables available. The food was great and atmosphere was very nice at the restaurant. We had fried chipirones and boquerones and ink squid croquettes. Everything was delicious. The staff were very nice and courteous. The only comment I would have for the management is the service or the organization of the service. There were plenty of waiters running around trying to serve customers, but there was no one assigned to a table. We had to speak to multiple ones…. I am sure this can be managed more efficiently.
Ghassan Shamseddine — Google review
Was busy so would recommend booking in advance. We were glad we did. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We visited the Roman ruins before lunch and, after lunch, had a swim and then walked on the beach before we climbed the famous sand dune. A memorable day from start to finish..

Excellent - stumbled across this place while walking along the beach and the food was perfect. Hot coal Octopus and the John Dory was lovely.
Joseph Lyons — Google review
The octopus with purée was INSANE, so good! One of my favorite culinary experiences in Spain, highly recommend. I still had to deduct one star as I found the service a bit rude, once we finally had a table, it also took super long until someone recognized us for us to order… bit unfortunate, but would still recommend to go there for food, amazing!
Anna-Sophie Schwendtner — Google review
This place is great. Park in the lot to the right on the way in - at the ruins visitor center. And make a reservation for sure (before you come). The food was great, atmosphere was great, the service was great. Added bonus - the head waiter or manager - excellent English. There were an abundance of servers available and they were easy to flag down whenever we needed something. Truly a great experience - would definitely recommend. We had the Caesar with Chicken, mussels (cold), calamari, tortilla, and tuna tataki. Their house-made chocolate mousse was excellent. Even the kids liked the breaded chicken and French fries!
Eben Samuelson — Google review
Excellent lunch by the Ocean! There is plenty of seating outside for a wonderful relaxing view of the ocean and the Roman ruins. The food was very fresh and delicious. Easy to find gluten free and lots of options!
Amy Christoforetti — Google review
Delicious food..very fresh. A hidden gem and worth the scenic drive Lovely waiters and the service very good even the restaurant was full. Go for a late lunch or sundown dinner/drink.
K L — Google review
I LOVE THIS PLACE! We came here after visiting the archeological place, and I have to say it's amazing! The food here is delicious! But more than that, the view is wonderful, in the evening you can watch the sun set over the sea, mountains and old roman town while you enjoy your food. It kind of feels like eating in an open museum because the museum is literally right next to it. The toilets are locked with a code, which you have to ask to the staff, because of all the beach passage that comes thru.
Manu Verbruggen — Google review
Goede service, vriendelijk personeel (Engels talig), schoon en lekker eten. Mooi uitzicht op het strand, het duin en de opgravingen. Enige nadeel is het gebrek aan parkeerplaatsen. The only drawback is the lack of parking spaces.

Super friendly personal 🙏❤️ Tierra Blanca white wine is gonna make your summer day amazing, and gambas are really gigantic and delish! Love this place! Good vibes and music and sea view and a WiFi access as well for digital nomads ;)

Ridiculous! Ordered a Tuna Burger and 20 min later came a Bread with two small peaces of Tuna, you couldn't even taste it😂. 24€...it's insane. Fries aside came another 20 mins later. Do NOT let u influence by the positive reviews and the hypocritical answers of the restaurant. "The kitchen usuallybis a hit" is just a pathetic lie.
Paul Hille — Google review
The food was good, although I didn’t really think the quality of my fish was worth 25€ (it was kinda dry), and also, for the price of the food, you’d think they could afford a bottle of ketchup? My heart weeps for planet earth... These ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, pepper, and salt packets are such a waste and unnecessary!
Rebecca Franks — Google review
Went for the drinks, music and chillout evening, but unfortunately some people have no idea how to make cocktails they are selling. The best part was when we ordered same cocktail 3 times and only once they got it right, whereas waitress started arguing that it was correct one and continued until the other girl - I guess a senior staff member - came out and told her that she was actually incorrect and went to make the right way.

I had lunch yesterday at Chiringuito SIROCCO in Tarifa, a restaurant located on the stunning Bolonia beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Andalusia. This restaurant is at the far left of the beach and offers exceptional ocean views. The atmosphere is very zen, with beanbags to sit on and peacefully enjoy the beauty of the place. Chiringuito SIROCCO offers delicious and ultra-fresh food at an excellent price-quality ratio. The owner, Jose, goes the extra mile for his customers, making sure everyone has the best time possible. I highly recommend this exceptional place on all levels and invite everyone visiting Tarifa to stop by for an unforgettable culinary and sensory experience.

Restaurante El Albero is an exquisite eatery overlooking the ocean, offering a refreshing ambiance on its terrace with parasols and trees to combat the scorching 40-degree heat. The menu boasts delectable dishes such as a small shrimp omelette and large batter-fried shrimp served on skewers accompanied by a superb tomato salsa dip. For main courses, they offer stuffed cuttlefish in squid ink and fish & prawns cooked in a flavorful tomato broth.
One of the most enjoyable beach restaurant experiences ever. Super fresh fish (red mullet and anchovies) preceded by salmorejo and gazpacho and a bottle of ice cold Verdejo. Can’t wait to return!

We loved our lunch at this place in Bolonia. Free parking, and helpful and friendly staff. We tried 4 dishes, and all were delicious, perfectly cooked and beautiful. The terrace was very nice under the shade and with lots of plants and flowers - it felt like eating in a garden.

Lovely little restaurant. Food is fresh and tasty. Service is attentive .

A wonderful restaurant with a view of the sea. The terrace was very cool because of the parasols and trees despite the 40-degree heat. We enjoyed a tiny shrimp omelette & large shrimp fried in batter and served on skewers, with a great tomato salsa as a dip. Mains include stuffed cuttlefish with ink and fish & prawns in a tomato stock. The lemon tart was a treat. It came as a mouse and was both sweet, tangy and airy. Mains include stuffed cuttlefish with ink and fish & prawns in tomato. The restaurant was full at 2 pm on 31 August, Thursday. We felt unhurried. The staff were discrete, professional and attentive when needed. We will go again. It is a very good restaurant.

Located very close to the beach with parking. Offers inside and outside sitting plus wide ,but not too wide, selection of food focusing on local products. Very clean including toilets-clear sign of high hygenic standards. Las but not least friendly staff. For us this is the best restaurant in Bolonia beach area.
Artur Starek — Google review
We ordered salad. Had to ask the waiter for condiments. He brought salt and pepper. Then had to ask again for vinegar and oil etc. He totally missed the fact that one of us had no drinks for almost 30 mins. Staff need to be better trained and observant with customers: a common problem in Tarifa.

5 stars all the way. Great restaurant and a great time.. super atmosphere and friendly service. The gambas pil pil / al ajillo to start were super tasty and fresh, hot and spicy. The scrambled eggs with shrimps and mushrooms was super light and very yummy. The steak to finish was cooked perfectly on the. BBQ and had a fantastic juicy flavor. The staff were very friendly and helpful and welcoming and super funny. Would recommend this place totally and great night with a bottle of Albariño that was just the thing to finish off. Oh yeah you must try the desserts..

Gigantische Portionen, sehr flotter und freundlicher Service. Sehr lange offen. Empfehlung ❤️❤️❤️ Thunfisch mit Zwiebeln, Pommes, gemischtes Gemüse. Hab auch die riesigen Pizzen der anderen Gäste bewundert. Toll 👍 (Translated by Google) Gigantic portions, very quick and friendly service. Open for a very long time. Recommendation ❤️❤️❤️ Tuna with onions, fries, mixed vegetables. I also admired the other guests' huge pizzas. Great 👍

Friendly staff but I must have come on a bad day… Drinks were served when I was halfway through my main course and they weren’t what I ordered, so another long wait. The salmorejo was good but the lasagna to be honest was a disappointment, charging for bread while not asked and not touched seems to be the new standard. Overall 22.5€ for a quick lunch wasn’t worth it.

(Translated by Google) Oh well. Almost only Spaniards eat here. The food was quite good as well. Parts of the order were not brought to the table until after May 3rd. The aioli gave the impression that it was made with sour yoghurt. Not at all what you are used to from the Spanish. The pizza was good, but the fried squid rings were quite expensive. 12 pieces 16€. We also saved ourselves having to reorder drinks because the service staff didn't come up with the idea of asking if we wanted anything else. The expression on the service staff's face said it all. Well, maybe we were just unlucky.

Pizza ia good but is actually more a Flammkuchen and the gluten-free one looks like comment coming from a refrigerator... but the olives are unique (with light garlic taste). All in all a good but simple dinner.

A great restaurant with great service we have found this to be the best in the area as there are many poor restaurants that are far more expensive.Pets are also allowed and of you are unable to finsh your meal they will box it for you to take away.

(Translated by Google) The previous reviews had given us hope. However, neither the pizza nor the tuna were particularly tasty. Visually, everything is at snack bar level. The only plus point is the view of the sea and sunset.

I can‘t recommend the pizza in this place. The vegetarian and vegan options are rare, but this is a general problem in Bolognia

Stayed in Bolonia for a few days and visited La Marisma a few times in the late evening to grab a meal and pizza. The restaurant is always very busy in the evening and usually there is a waiting list for a table. The restaurant is very close to the beach in Bolonia. The speciality of the restaurant seems to be pizzas as more than 90% of the tables were having pizza. During the meal I noticed that they offer takeout and the stream of square boxes leaving the restaurant seemed to be endless. Even after the wait the service was very fast the staff were very friendly and helpful and welcoming. The turn around was quite quick and the pizzas Arrived within minutes. For my taste they could have been a slight improvement on the taste and the tomatoes and sauce. For one of the very few restaurants in Bolonia it was very good food and excellent service.
