Wonderful taverna, amazing food and attentive friendly staff. We ordered a mixture of items and so happy with every dish. Service is lightning fast but you have all the time to eat and drink at your own pace. There are two tavernas in this location of which both are amazing. Such a beautiful spot by the sea with easy parking.

What a fabulous place, the lovely staff here found room for us to eat and were such a delight! Very quick service, airy and with a sea view, there is lots or parking. Such a lovely place. The location is perfect at the seafront with views of the island. The decor is light and airy with a seaside vibe. Service is superb. So friendly and welcoming and all speak excellent English. We had mussels and homemade frites with local bread and amazing olive oil called 'Karli'. Absolutely superb and a must visit ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you are near to Avithos it's the best for lunch. Great quality of food they were all fresh both vegetables and seafood. Portions were good enough. Service was also kind and friendly. It is definitely one of the best restaurants/taverna in Kefalonia and normal price of course. I visited lots of different restaurants during my holidays but it was the best. I recommend with no doubt. I have to mention also that the parking is a problem there.

we came here last week and had such a lovely meal!! delicious food and a beautiful view what more could you ask for!! stunning location looking right across the beach and into the sea was so perfect and we definitely had one of the best seats in the house. the food was delicious and i highly recommend the burger which was incredible and the grilled squid starter, both were unbelievable!!

Excellent. The same people who run nearby Sarris winery also operate this restaurant — this one was the first establishment of theirs. The food is of excellent quality: the Greek salad featured some feta cheese served as crumble, delivering a consistent and beautiful taste. The aubergines were a pure delight, nicely juicy and much flavourful of the tomatoes it had been cooked in. The grilled squid was fresh from the sea, a huge portion for a starter — and tasted delicious. Crunchy and yet with a slight salty taste as well as some traces from the grill. Service was super friendly and the sound of the waves arriving at the nearby beach made the entire lunch a very pleasant experience.

Great food, great service and friendly. We arrived without reservation as a party of 6 adults and 2 children and were welcomed. The platters of seafood were delicious, well presented (see photos) and enjoyed with gusto!

Beautiful setting and gorgeous food. Ate here twice and both times food was excellent. Calamari and Octopus were so tasty! Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed dining here. Views are amazing and the setting is well looked after. Would definitely recommend this place and will be returning next time we visit.

Wonderful dinner with a great owner and host. You get a generous amount of food for your money. Make sure you have a good appetite when dining here. Seafood dishes were delicious here. There are plenty of other options too for non-seafood meals and a kid's menu. Our entire family enjoyed Milo's and appreciated how welcoming their staff was. Five stars all the way.

Very friendly place, Fondas the owner is so lovely and looks after you very well. The food is just delicious and plentiful, Fondas even remembered ( from 2 years ago ) that we didn't like oozo , the complimentary drink he offers all his customers so he brought us a brandy and a cherry brandy, what an amazing memory he has! We will definitely be back again next year, can't wait to see everyone again 😍

Lovely restaurant on the seafront, perfect for watching the sunset while eating. The food was faultless, absolutely delicious and the hospitality next to none. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived, the owner gave a complimentary digestive and even gave us a lift home as we'd had a few too many 🙈 Don't miss out on this gem if you are visiting the area 😊

This restaurant was so so lovely, we went back several times during our stay. The staff were so friendly and the fisherman himself came to show us all the fresh fish options, we had the swordfish and sea bass and they were so delightful. The specials were also delicious as was the tzatziki and pitta side dish in particular. For the amazing service, beautiful views and really affordable prices this place deserves more than 5 stars!

The food is excellent. The owner is part of the wait staff and really passionate about the food he serves. The fish is fresh and has great specials. Watching the Sunset form here while having local swordfish or lobster is unbeatable.

Our favourite place to eat in kefalonia. We went here on the first and last day of our trip, and wish we hadn’t bothered going elsewhere in between. My partner said the fresh fish is the best he’d ever had. Service is friendly and welcoming, and theres a beautiful view of the sunset. Thank you for the memories.

Located next to the Ammes Hotel this is a gem of a restaurant. The staff here were amazing, the service and the food was exceptional. Being a sea side restaurant they they full advantage and provide the most delicious seafood you will not be disappointed.

Great place to eat and watch sunset,food lovely fresh and reasonably priced, house wine much better than we thought and very reasonable at €12 a litre! I had special belly pork and my wife prawn salad but night before she had fresh sea bass, owner always shows fresh fish you can have well worth a visit

Lovely clean restaurant friendly owner and staff lovely food, we ate here almost every night on our stay on the island and tried most things on the menu from snapper, calamari, kebabs lamb chops to kleftiko also deserts lovely orange cake, lemon meringue, walnut cake , chocolate fudge brownie.all in all lovely place to have a meal and watch the sunset.

This restaurant has one of the best sunsets on the island, the planes flying over and taking off just a stones throw away makes the dining experience very unique too. The quality of the food and the price is un matched on the island! We will be back (and this is already our fourth time here). Highly recommend!!

Very plesant place, a good view with sunset and a nice environment. Very professional staff, the cheff himself (wich is a fisher man as well) will atend you first with the menus and explain everything you need to know very well. Really nice food and well confectioned, i recommend you the fish, very fresh with a exellent confection, the other dishes are very tasty as well. Sítio muito agradável, com boa vista e muito bom ambiente. Staff muito profissional. Comida excelente e bem confeccionada. Recomendo o peixe, muito fresco e confecção excelente.

The staff in Esperidas is extremely friendly and kind. They have a large variety of nice starters, the traditional greek plate is probably the best one. For the main dish we had sea bass, chicken pasta and moussaka. Everything was tasteful and nicely prepared. There could be better dessert menu, but overall it was a great expierence. Recommended!

Your holiday is not complete without a visit to Esperides Restaurant in Svoronata in Kefalonia in Greece 💚❤️ Great Food, Great Service and very reasonably priced. You need to make sure you book your table in advance, well worth the 40 minute walk from our apartment

Turned up quite late for dinner the day we arrived. Definitely the nicest option in this area. Really pretty spot, surrounded by orange trees (unbelievable perfume in May from the blossom) situated on a very quiet road, pleasant owner/staff, superbly cooked lamb chops. Not enormous portions, but sufficient. And NOT with chips, thanks so much, we really appreciated that!

Set amongst an orange grove, this restaurant has a very cosy atmosphere and setting and makes for a perfect evening. The service was impeccable and every single dish we ordered was perfectly delicious! They make all their orange desserts using fruits from the surrounding grove and we highly recommend the orange cake! We would go back just for that 😋

Superb meals. We stayed one week in Kefalonia and this was the one restaurant that really stood out. We ordered the meatball appetizer and it was very good. The lamb chop and pork with mushroom sauce meals were excellent as well. The kid's meals ordered were all good. The wine selection is perfect as it caters to local wines from the island. I had our best white wine at this place during my week stay in Kefalonia. I would recommend to grab a reservation for an earlier seating. We had 9:30 dinner reservations and by that time all of the recommended desserts were no longer available. Also, as others mentioned, request to dine in the orange grove area. Overall, this is a wonderful place to dine for its excellent food, service, and charming atmosphere.

Great local eatery with very fresh local produce on their menu. All dishes are well balanced, fresh and very affordable. Definitely recommend in you're staying at a hotel nearby.

Very cute taverna in the middle of an orange grove. Oranges are everywhere! You are waiting for your food and can take an orange from the tree. Loved the food. Its not only typical greek touristic dishes, but it had more variety of choices. The portions are fair for the prices. Also there were options for vegans and kids menu. Savvas, the owner of the place, is a polite and nice person with sincere smile, who came to greet us in our table. If you are planning to come, better to reserve a table from before. Highly recommend for a romantic dinner, or family dinner.

What a hidden gem - I almost missed the opportunity to try it! My hotel was nearby and every day I noticed lots of cars parked outside and all the tables taken, so I guessed it was worth a shot! The setting is incredible, and I hear that starting June until September they also open another area where the orange trees are… food was excellent, and the quality of the ingredients is second to none. The personnel speaks English fluently and is extremely friendly. Prices are absolutely reasonable, had two starters, a main and half a litre of rose wine for €31.

Stunning place. When booking, ask for the Orange Grove area. Its beautiful 😍 We had stuffed portobello mushrooms and stuffed 3 cheese balls with a kefalonian local tomato salsa. For mains, we had seabass, which was incredible and I had a slouvaki mixed grill which was sensational! The staff were so lovely and friendly and spoke superb English. The setting in the orange Grove was magical and highly recommended. You MUST visit xxx ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This restaurant is and was our top 5 from whole Kefalonia island. We ended eating our first night here because it was just 5 minutes walk from our Hotel (Avithos Resort) and not only food, but atmosphere and service was AMAZING! Food quality was exceptional and tasted like food made by professional chefs. We ended eating here three times in our 8 days holiday just because we wanted to try more of the dishes they had. They have all Greek traditional food but also signature dishes like Pork Loins with Orange Sauce which was super good, they hay Kids menus, vegetarian menus and great deserts. This place is a must in Kefalonia. Don't miss!

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The staff are fantastic and service is prompt, the food is some of the best I’ve had in Greece, and the aesthetics of the restaurant are just beautiful. I will definitely be back some day. *Make sure to make reservations in advance, otherwise there can be a wait. **Definitely try some of their homemade orange desserts! I couldn’t get enough!

Really delicious food. We went back several times to try different dishes. Loved all dishes that had the orange, including the orange cake and orange sorbet. Staff was absolutely amazing, friendly and a pleasure to speak to. I’d recommend booking if you’d like a table amongst the orange trees.

The view on the ocean is very beautiful. You can enjoy here very nice food. We ordered the tuna steak and the moussaka. Both was very delicious. The waiter was also very friendly.

You think about going there? Do it. Really nice tavern, close to the sea and beach. Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff which can help you find the right dish for you if you can not decide which sounds best. It's such a lovely and cozy place which I would call a treasure. And we had the best Tzatziki there from whole Kefalonia! We highly recommend eating there and will definitely come back at our next vacation. Photo shows the fisherman's dish: Grilled sea bass and scampi as well as fried anchovies and white bait.

Cozy place near the beach. I liked the small design touches. The toilets are clean. The waiters are nice and the waiting time is low. The food is good but a pricey. We ate better at lower prices in Kefalonia. We had fish platter for 2 (very good although fried, which was not advertized), greek salad (good), summer salad (missed some flavor), beef steak (a bit chewy).

Come here for the ambience and the view, sit in the garden and try the beef Stifado, probably the best I’ve had. The eggplant dip was also quite special. A surprising find with good local food and pricing.

We had lunch here after the beach. The staff are very kind and helpful. The food was fantastic and everything was absolutely fresh at a reasonable price. They have also vegetarian and vegan options. Thank you. We'll return.

5 stars for everything about this place! From start to finish, the service, food, location and price. We went with our one year old daughter and everyone was so accommodating. They brought a baby seat without us asking. The gyros were fresh and delicious!! 3.50 euro! The view of the port is amazing. We will be going back for lunch today! We love this place. There are many places to choose from, but I recommend here!

Very good kalamari, sardines and anchovies. We ate the same for several days and here we had the best kalamari on the island. Our children are mad about kalamari. The waiters are also very charismatic, especially the oldest one who is like a very polite English lord.

Great beach and tavern. Traditional kitchen run by family. Food was delicious we tried traditional kitchen recommended 💯. Atmosphere is fantastic with breeze wind and greenery all over the place. Plenty of parking 🅿️ also shower on the beach.

Very friendly service, we had our drinks just instantly. The food is good quality and tasty, nothing fancy but simply good. Fish was really fresh and perfectly grilled. Great location, unfortunately we were very late, couldn't see much, but daytime should great. We'll come back to try more 🙂

Beautiful little place. Authentic, amazing service. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Nothing is a problem. The food was gorgeous. We just had a couple of appetisers. Sardines and some giant beans. Both dishes were absolutely amazing!! With lovely Greek music playing in the background 😍 Highly recommend

We were 13adults plus 2energic toddlers, and yet we managed to have a great time there. The food was perfect, we had apetizers, sea fruits, a wonderful meatpie, fresh fish, the olives were delicious and the service amazing, very friendly and nice with the kids. There s a garden beside the terace were the kids were able to play and run around a huge olive tree. Unfortunately we discovered the place in our last day, it was worth coming back. We will definitely comeback next time when we'll be in Kefalonia. At the end we evan recived as present a huge bag with olives.

Fabulous food. We went a couple of times and the sardine salad was fab. Kefonian meat pie with greek salad, we struggled to ear it all as portions great.

Great greek taverna. Very friendly staff and good portions. We had Kefalonia meat pie, greek salad, rabbit and pork souvlaki. Nice touch to send us a slice of local coconut cake over at the end.

This taverna was just fantastic! The food was delicious and plenty, the service was extremely fast, attentive and friendly. It is 5 minutes from the airport and there is a gas station, so you can fuel up on tasty Greek food one last time before flying home. We were actually sad to have discovered it only on our way back home and with little time left as it was so good. Will be coming back next time though!

Been here a few times for breakfast and evening meal. Food was lovely, could not fault it. As it's coming to the end of the season, not many places open for breakfast. But Dum Spiro spero is. The guy who took our order was very nice, and very accommodating especially when my partner wanted something that wasn't on the menu. If we come to this region on the island again we will definitely come here again.
