Pantai Batu Belig

Mentioned on
Beach
Pantai Batu Belig is a serene and scenic beach that offers stunning views of the sunset, making it an ideal spot for kite-flying and other recreational activities. The area is surrounded by cafes and bars where one can enjoy a meal or drink while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Despite its popularity, there are no obstructions to this natural spectacle except for occasional clouds. Although traffic can be hectic when accessing this location, it remains an excellent spot to avoid crowds while enjoying breathtaking sunsets.
Just another usual beach. You can only playing around in the seashore. There is also one big beach club over here. I think this is one of the best place to visit, if you want to watch sunset. There is nothing to hinder the view, well.. other than the cloud.. 😅🤭

Quiet, not too crowded public beach. I met a very cute stray dog, mix of local and beagle. Lovely sunset experience.

Theres a few restaurants/bar by the beach. U can dine in and enjoy. But to get to this place....the traffic is crazy bad. Another great place to catch sunset if you hate crowds.
Annilsah K — Google review
Really beautiful sunset here!! have to visit if you stay in seminyak / canggu area. It's not too crowded and lots of cute stray dogs <3 Recommended!!
Shierly Yolanda — Google review
Pantai Batu Belig is truly beautiful with its clean sand and relatively large waves. However, the access to the beach is heavily congested, both going and coming back. Despite the traffic, we found this beach much nicer than Kuta Beach – clean and less crowded. We enjoyed playing on the beach with the kids and witnessing a stunning sunset.

Came here after PCR in Hydro Medical Seminyak by foot. At first, I see this beach with a lot of rubbish on its edge... Yup, kinda plastic waste. OH! And I found diapers when I'm walking approaching the beach seashore 🥲 super jackpot, and I grab it to the edge of beach BUT I didn't found any rubbish bin.. So I put it on the coconut shell. Maybe it's the reason why there are a lot of rubbish everywhere, because there aren't any rubbish bin that we could find But anyway, refreshing-wise, the beach is very wavy at the time I visit here, and it's really fun to listen to the beach sounds. But since this beach is not very crowded, it's actually good if you want to do some me time, but be careful because maybe if bad things happen like the wave brings you to the ocean, no one will help 🥲🙏 But yeah, I love this beach at all. If I have gloves, I'll literally pick up all of those rubbish to make my eyes have a better picture of Bali, the island of God's

Nice beach. Sometimes has big waves. Dirty from time to time from trash coming from other islands but it gets cleaned up and looks fine again.
Dave More — Google review
beautiful public beach for sunset and crowd watching, surrounded by well-known beach clubs such as Mari Beach Club and Cafe Del Mar so you could enjoy their music for free! you could just sit/lay on the beach OR you could buy drinks (beer or coconut water) from the locals that also will provide you with a stools. the best way to get there is by motorcycle and you only have to pay around Rp2.000,-. There's also a stream of water carved through the beach if you walk around 800 m northwest.
Imaniar Kartika — Google review
Locals beach. Great sunset views. Couple bar and restaurants along the way. Next to beach club, so loud and good beat music. Couple street foods along the road. Try the grill corn. Beach needed some clean up. Dogs roaming all over the beach, not sure they have owners. Good strong waves for surfing.
Tin Nguyen — Google review
My favorite activity in Bali is walking at Batu Belig beach, and usually make a stop at this warung to watch a sunset. They have fair price and typical Indonesian food. Recommended.
David Flores Mosquera — Google review
Beautiful simple beach that's free for public access. Gorgeous sunset. You get the same view as Mari Beach Club which uses the same beach stretch. There's a few simple stalls selling drinks and corn for snacks. Venture further down for a few simple beachside bars/restaurants at affordable prices. Has a decent amount of people but not too crowded, bonus with quite a few dogs running around.

Great day in this quiet beach in bali. The weather was very good when we arrived.
Fonouvdior — Google review
Great spot to catch sunset, there's many cafés along the way and also some beach clubs. The beach isn't the cleanest in all Bali but confident to say it's pretty lively beach with all the crowds, activities and sport. Looking forward to come here again.
Danny Kwan — Google review
This beach is enjoyed by local people. Some consider it to be a part of Seminyak beach, and others - not. In any case, it's beautiful and relatively quiet. The sand is black due to volcanic origin from ages ago, but it's also very fine and soft. The waves are high and there are places where you can find surfers. There are some small stalls with locals selling coconuts. Definitely recommend - nice people, tasty coconuts and cheap price. There are some bars and clubs on this beach, so it's not quiet in the evening - but music is ok in general. This beach is great for jogging. Especially in the morning time there are a lot of runners - most people run without their shoes, when some run in shoes. Mind that there are several small rivers crossing the beach, it's easy to pass them but shoes will be wet. There are a lot of dogs there. They are mainly well-behaved, but we've seen some dogs barking on people - and their owners did almost nothing. And unfortunately, most people don't clean after their dogs, so keep an eye on where you step or sit.

Petitenget Beach is a wide, gray-sand beach known for its stunning sunsets, making it a popular spot for sunset viewing, sunbathing, and leisurely walks. The area is surrounded by amenities such as the Potato Head Beach Club, Mano Beach House, W Bali, and the vibrant Petitenget Strip with chic dining venues and designer boutiques.
Beach of the day is Petitenget Beach, my favorite one 👍 the beach is so clean, waste so little, they do the cleaning every morning. We have been so lucky to see double rainbows this morning. So beautiful 🌈🌈 Bali is slowly but sure going back to normal. We love Bali 💕
Maggie Leks — Google review
Petitenget Beach is a truly stunning destination located in the Seminyak area of Bali, Indonesia. The beach is known for its clear blue waters, long stretch of golden sand, and breathtaking sunsets. It's an ideal spot for swimming, sunbathing and for relaxing in a beautiful atmosphere. The beach is also lined with a variety of trendy bars and restaurants, making it a great option for both food and drinks. One of the most memorable experiences I had at Petitenget beach was when my friends and I organized a photoshoot to commemorate our high school graduation. We arrived at the beach in the afternoon, with plans to catch the sunset, but unfortunately, the day was overcast and we weren't able to see the sun go down. Despite the weather, we set up our cameras and tripods on the sandy shore and proceeded to take some wonderful photos. The overcast sky provided a unique atmosphere that was definitely different from the typical bright and sunny beach shots. We took turns posing in front of the camera, capturing our excitement and joy of graduating high school. Even though we didn't see the sunset, the overcast sky and the different lighting provided a unique backdrop for our photos that we were very pleased with. Overall, Petitenget Beach is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Bali. The natural beauty of the beach, combined with the wide range of dining and entertainment options, make it the perfect place to relax and unwind and make unforgettable memories with friends. Even if you don't catch the sunset, the beach still offer a great opportunity to capture wonderful memories.

One of my favorite beaches in Seminyak ❤️ always comes here in the morning time, got a cup coffee, enjoy the warm of the sunrise, then dip into the ocean. In the afternoon, don't forget to buy some Lumpia or Jagung Bakar before back dipping into the ocean, then you end your day perfectly 🥹❤️

It's surprisingly no crowd at all during the peak season, maybe because it was freaking hot (11am). The beach was quiet during the time, deserted, and a non commercial beach. Can't stay too long due to the heat. But outside from the beach area, has a very nice satay place called bu Manis (it was very spicy though, if you can't eat too spicy, perhaps you need to ask).
Elyce O. — Google review
One of the best beaches in Bali when it comes to sunset. It’s very crowded but it’s worth to visit. The waves are good for surfing but I think it's not kids friendly in some spots. I will visit Petitenget Beach again in the future for sure!
Mohammad Army — Google review
Always crowded during sunsets but there is plenty of space for everyone. This beach stretches to south and north giving you many miles to walk for. It also has spacious parking space for cars and bikes. Bring your own beach towel if you want to sit here. If you don’t, walk to the south to seminyak beach, they’d have sun lounger available for rent.
Hanny J. — Google review
Free access, dark grey fine sand, awesome view of sunset and carefree vibes without having to pay for drinks or beach club. The best things in nature come free. 5 mins walk to most happening stretch in Petitenget dining/ clubbing area
Jiremi Ra-ai — Google review
Along this beach and all others has beautiful sunset to offer, no doubt about it! You can relax at the beach club with your Mojito or just sit on the sand by the beach or simply walking along the beach... you can do all at your convenience. Best to come before sunset.
Sri Kusasi — Google review
Great beach for sunset photos. Paid car/bike park which gets busy (as does the beach). Small basic food court between the car park and beach with some cheap tasty offerings. Also some food vendors walking the beach. Can be crowded around the main entrance but walk a few minutes in either direction and you’ll have more space. Some trash on the beach but generally a lot cleaner than others along this stretch.
Gavin Robertson — Google review
A little crowded when I came but not too crowded like Kuta beach. It’s clean and there are a lot of street vendors so you can fill your tummy if hungry. The sunset view is absolutely breathtaking though. I enjoy spending my time alone here
Puput Puji Astuti — Google review
the beach has a beautiful sunset, can also be a place for casual sports such as jogging, or praying at the temple, a large parking area and there are also food stands like pork satay. free beach entry, just pay for parking which is cheap. bathroom facilities are also available.
I Made Aris Bagia Hendrawan — Google review
Sun bed was 100k IDR for however long you needed and can use the shower facilities at the beach bar. Seemed expensive to me. Lifeguard was around collecting sun bed money but not sure how safe it was to swim when i was there as he disappeared and so wasn’t attentive when people were in the sea. Came 5 years ago and was more of a vibe. Gin bar opened up with bean bags and tables for sunset.
Steph T — Google review
Between the surrounding beaches, i'd prefer Petitenget than others. It is wider and feels more open, still have trees cause there are hotels by the beach. Good food near the parking area. It feels really nice to be here. PS : there is no such thing as "away", when we throw anything away, it must go somewhere.
Inge Celine — Google review
I am a professional photographer. I ve been shot here. One of my favorite spots for sunset beach around south Bali. I always love to shoot at Petitenget at sunset. Really wide beach view.
Seniman Photo Bali — Google review
Cheap option to see pretty grey sandy beach view and sunset with a wide shoreline. Make sure to come earlier, to avoid too much crowd and find perfect spot to catch beautiful sunset. Easy access car parking with admission of IDR 5K/car.
Miranti Vidyasari — Google review
A better version of Kuta, imo. You don't get hounded by vendors every five minutes or so, so you can actually relax and enjoy the beach. Cleaner, too.
Erick Purnama — Google review
Great beach to surf but sand is pretty yucky. Can see a great sunset on a good day but sadly I couldn’t see it.

Masceti Temple, also known as Pura Petitenget, is a revered 16th-century Hindu temple located in Seminyak, Bali. This ancient religious site is built with stunning red brick and sandstone and is part of a series of sea temples protecting the island. Visitors are encouraged to wear traditional dress and pay an entry fee to enter the complex, which features small pavilions and shrines.
Pretty temple near to the beach car park. Pay attendant 50k and get admission and a sarong Nice to see. Not big and flashy, but cheap to visit, simple and humble.
Gilbert O'Sullivan — Google review
I think the 50k for entrance is not worthy. The temple is beautiful, but you can't see the whole temple because most of places are reserved for worshipers. I would have liked to take a photo of the entrance, but they are reconstructing them. The guards were kind and helped us put on the sarong (they will give you one to get in the temple). It's right in front of the beach entrance and you can also buy a coconut.
g yau (???) — Google review
What a ripoff!! 50k each to rent a Sarong and to enter an empty temple with barely nothing to see inside! The only interesting parts to see are the statue outside and the doors, which are free to visit. Wouldn’t recommend it.
Funes El Memorioso — Google review
A small but wonderful Temple with a 50 IDR entry fee. The attendant who sold the tickets accompanied us inside and provided a great overview of the history and traditions of the Temple as well as took pictures for us. It's well worth a visit of you're in the area. Certain areas are restricted to prayer, but the main portion is open.
Michael Luisi — Google review
It is only 50 rupiah entrance fee and you have to buy it at the entrance where the gentleman is collecting entrance free from various vehicles. Despite it is a extremely confine space... 1 glance sees it all kind of place. Also, you have to pick their sarong and somehow it fits our attires perfectly when photo was taken. Inside you could see age-old praying place and some are only open during ceremony. Since it was a relaxing holiday and it was a public holiday, I enjoyed the last 30 minutes before they close for the day. It wasn't meant to visit because we headed to the beach prior to this.. but is all good. We end up taking "Instagramable" photos. Just sharing some here...
MK Leong — Google review
Beautiful temple just next to the beach. We loved going there just before the sunset. One has to pay a 50,000. IDR entrance fee and I feel it’s a bit steep as you do not get to explore the entire temple due to local traditions but I would still recommend going here as it is beautiful and the guards there are quite friendly and willing to discuss about their traditions and life.
felicitaforever1 — Google review
Didn't get to go all the way in because it was closed but the temple architecture caught my eyes. Extremely beautiful.
Leonard — Google review
You have to pay 50k if you want to go inside the gates. Will include the traditional ceremonial garment to wear. Once behind the gates there are areas where it is restricted access to worshipers only. Some amazing stone work to view.
Honda Ngo — Google review
I was just strolling through the streets of Bali and stumbled across this temple by accident. There is a small entry fee and if you are wearing shorts, they will provide you with a sarong (nice Balinese feel). Its a small temple, not busy at all on the day I went. I was for the about 10 mins on my own and then the rains came - and it didnt stop for a good hour. It was one of the most profound experiences I had in Bali, watching the serenity of rain while just over the wall, the traffic was loud and chaotic.
Jasmin — Google review
I thought I can see inside the temple but It was forbidden if we came not for praying. So far the temple was beautiful from the outside and in front of the temple Beautiful Beach, Petitenget! The sunset was so beautiful. There were also lots of nice restaurant around the temple. Enjoy!

Kharisma Antiques Bali, established in 1998, has gained popularity as one of the most sought-after antique shops on the island. The shop boasts a diverse collection of unique and elegant antiques and decorative objects from across Asia. Visitors can expect to find items with rich histories, some dating back 500 to 2000 years. The owners are known for their expertise, friendliness, and passion for their collection.
If you looking for something unique and antique, like 500 to 2000 years old, you have come to the right place. They sell a wide variety of really nice antiques. If your into Magical Ancient Beads, they have a large collection. The owners are very knowledgeable, friendly and are passionate about their collection. I did not know anything about the beads, but after sitting with the owners I did buy a couple and a few other items as well. Great place to go visit.

This is not your typical Balinese souvenir shop! I have been looking for some bizarre and vintage curiosities. Unique items that no one else would sell. And here - probably the only place in Bali - you will find them. Kharisma is a genuine antiques shop with lot's of old and authentic items, each having an interesting story told in detail by the friendly owner and his wife. I ended up buying two vintage masks.

Wow is the word to describe this place. We had Sunday brunch and it is the most amazing experience ever. The food is 5 star all the way and we will be going again very soon. After eating relax by the pool or take a swim it is so relaxing.

Your waiters were onto it. Anything you need. You need to go and experience this place. Thank you, Starfish Bloo. We will be back.

I really-really have a marvelous dinner with my team here! Starting from my arrival, I was just a few steps from the restaurant door and walked to the table. Instead of having me walk alone, a staff member called Ms. Mala was assisting me beyond the hospitality. She approached me and explained to me every hotel details such as an environmental art that they have, etc. then she escorted me to the table. After I sat on the table, they brought me a menu and I started to choose, Mr. Alit from the service staff I guess was also very helpful in making an order and made everything very smooth. Additionally, when I dine here, I recommend their Bedugul Strawberry Cheesecake, it's definitely my way back here with their Rice Field Cocktail 🍸. As overall a joyful dinner with the seashore sound surrounded your intimacy. 💙

This place was on the top of the list on every website for Christmas brunch in Bali and coming here is exactly what we decided to do this year for Christmas. The place was fully booked, as expected and we made reservations weeks in advance. Service staff were very charming and wonderful. In spite of the place being so busy, they were very prompt, attentive, and always with a big smile. The food was also excellent. Huge spreads of fresh seafood, Balinese cuisine, great big roasts, and Christmassy fare as well like stuffed turkey, log cake, and Christmas pudding. We had a very good time indeed.

One of the best brunch in Bali. Been visiting this place many times, (off during pandemic 😀) just took chance for leave some reviews here. Food selections was always excellent, are you vegetarian (I’m not), don’t worry. They still have some nice selections. Me and my husband went there last Sunday, and we had a great time, the seafood, the beef, desserts, dim-sum, sashimi, sushi, all fresh and delicious. and yes you can order as many as you want the juices, smoothies, coffee. The service from the staffs are excellent . Plus you can relax by the beach and pool afterwards. Don’t forget bring your swimming gears 😉

As you walk through then enter the dining area your eyes are bombarded with how spectacular the decor is. We were met by the host who walked us to out beach area table. The wine I requested and waited for was eventually not available so picked another. The menu was limited but sounded great so my wife went for the crispy soft crab, the salmon sushi and the lobster. I opted for the Pumpkin soup for starters then the risotto. I can only say that I was extremely disappointed with the service and food. The waiter struggled to open the wine and split the cork. My wife's starter arrived and after waiting the brought my main course to which I reminded them I would like my starter first. This eventually arrived and as much as I live Pumpkin soup this was far too sweet and no real taste. The risotto was a starter portion and the rice was mixed with some noodles with a very bland taste. My wife's lobster arrived which looked pretty nice but the curry sauce poured on it did not go with it at all. The sweet potatoes were over cooked so that was also very disappointing for 1.4 million alone. The sunset setting and the interior were stunning but sadly everything was downhill after that. Save your money as there are better and cheaper places to eat. Sorry to be honest but there it is.

If Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, then Sunday Brunch at Starfish Bloo at the W takes the award for THE most friendliness. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with people ready to make your time at the popular Sunday Brunch an experience you won't forget. First up you're provided with a Welcome drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available). You are then guided into the hotel and are provided with an overview. Our host was Miss Nana and she was the most attentive and accommodating host who worked the front tables where we were seated. Nothing was too much trouble and the brunch caters for everyone.

Absolutely exceptional Sunday brunch here. Around $150 AUD for the bottomless alcohol and food combo but it was very well worth it. Special mention to the waiters who were so attentive and so friendly they really made the visit extraordinary. The food was all good and couldn’t really fault anything from the satay skewers to the sambal, from the prawns to the sashimi and then to the desserts. Everything was delicious! Will hopefully be back to bali soon to do this once agai.
Bennis Dennis — Google review
You expect a lot from a fine dining restaurant. Starfish Bloo comes through quite well. Appetizers were excellent. The hot stone snapper is presented beautifully, the beet salad was presented perfectly though lacked a little on the flavor. The sushi is good, but I do get better sushi in Vancouver quite easily. The mixologist drinks were interesting but maybe too adventurous for my taste. The one I had, whose name I forget my apologies, was not a favorite. I'm nit picking here a bit. Expectations are high and they were mostly met. The gluten free crackers were superb. We had two servings of them.
Mark Cannon — Google review
I’ll be honest. This place is way overrated. Food was super expensive - that’s fine, except we waited like 50 minutes for the food to come out and we were the only people in the restaurant. Food really wasn’t anything special, would’ve been fine eating at McDonalds. Lots of better tasting, more fun atmosphere than this place.
Aidan E — Google review
Our 5 stars was primarily due to the amazing service we received. We came for a late dinner around 9pm and the restaurant was practically empty. We were seated outside facing the ocean and enjoyed the ambiance. We were lucky to have the attention of a very kind and gracious service staff. During the meal they presented us with complimentary drinks (apple cider on dry ice and a fizzy passion fruit drink), and gave us 2 complimentary desserts because they said they noticed the grouper fish we ordered was on the smaller side. The food was great, especially the pork belly and the raspberry cheesecake. Word of warning that the grouper contains a ton of fishbones and must be eaten with caution.

Great place for dinner. The venue has a direct open access to the beach. Dinner while watching the sunset is perfect. The team is attentive and accommodate our needs, patiently explaining the list of food & drinks, and give a recommendation what to order. Their 72 hours Wagyu Short Ribs is AMAZING..!! So tender, perfect size, and with the right amount of sides. Just for my personal taste, the sauce is a bit salty. But, overall, I’m satisfied!

Amazing restaurant, spent our first evening in Bali here and was an amazing start to our holiday. The staff here are exceptional, we came for our anniversary meal and the treatment we got from the staff was so good. They offered to take photos of us on multiple occasions, we didn't even have to ask and got brilliant sunset photos. They treated us to dessert for our anniversary too. It was our first night and I was really tired and tipping skipped my mind, really regret it. The food was delicious and high quality, fish and octopus all tasted great, even the bread. It was well presented too. The restaurant is stunning with an open terrace design overlooking the sea and sunset.

Good place to have dinner. I wished I could come earlier to see the sunset. The foods were good, except for the oyster that I ordered (too much spinach in it). The breakfast buffet at SeaSalt Seminyak is an absolute culinary delight that deserves a resounding five-star review! The buffet spread was a feast for the eyes and the palate. The selection of dishes was extensive, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. From local Balinese delicacies to international favorites, the variety was exceptional, and everything looked incredibly appetizing. The quality of the food was impeccable. Each dish was crafted with care, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. I savored the flavors of traditional Indonesian breakfast items, as well as indulged in western-style treats like freshly baked pastries and fluffy pancakes. The attention to detail extended beyond the food. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that my coffee cup was never empty and that I had everything I needed for a delightful meal. The highlight of the breakfast was undoubtedly the beachfront seating. Enjoying a sumptuous breakfast with the sound of crashing waves and a gentle sea breeze was an unparalleled experience that I will cherish forever.

We had a lovely dinner at SeaSalt. The food was delicious and the cocktails were so tasty. The service was great too and the sea view was perfect. It’s a pity though there aren’t dinner tables by the sea, we had to sit on a lounge sofa but it was worth it for the view. I definitely recommend it for a sunset and seafood dinner.

Amazing place, our experience was marred with food poising! Some part the blame is ours, my better half ordered chicken at a fish restaurant. I had the daily special merlin and it was good. However the chicken was not, although she didn't finish it and lost her appetite completely, we believe the damage was done. Amazing sunset location, just don't order chicken.

The black salt baked mackerel butter makes me drool and ate too much bread even before our starters arrive. Fresh oysters 🦪with seaweed. We had duck and fish for main course - both are a delight - portion is good sized, so I could squeeze in my dessert! Just order it because you won’t regret it. We brought our own wine bottle & corkage charge was Rp.500k which is worthwhile. After dinner, we sat on the sofa overlooking the beach and smoked a cigar, drank whiskey for nightcap. Overall spend was about Rp.3.5mil

Seasalt is one of the restaurants at the pricey end of the scale in Seminyak, located within the Hyatt chain of hotels. We were there celebrating my sisters birthday, we wanted to watch the sunset but we’re told KIDS NOT ALLOWED ON THE TERRACE! a big disappointment for us (and a very odd rule). Cocktails were good, lots of choice and presented well. Kids menu was excellent, good selection even for fussy eaters. We had baked Brie for starter, it was nice but nothing special. Main courses were salt baked fish, the catch of the day, and belly pork (see photos). I’d say the mains were just okay. I wasn’t that wowed by any of them. Our bill for four people came to just over 4million IDR. Tbh I don’t think it was worth it but you pay for location (beautiful sunset) and the brand. In a side note they did bro g out a cake for my sister- a lovely gesture! Overall I think it’s a nice place for a special occasion but not somewhere I’d chose to go for an everyday meal and whilst it’s kid friendly, the terrace rule lost it a star!

The food and service (thank you DWI you were amazing) was simply faultless. The advice on menu selection was completely on point, the cocktails mixed perfectly and watching the sun slip from sky to sea, as it set, was the perfect finishing touch. The only blight on perfection; the smokers tables at the side/front meant our meal had periodic blasts of cigarette smoke. A real downer. We finished the evening with coffee and chocolate on the sofa by the fire pit…away from the smoking area.

Major shout out to Leo for looking after our little family so well during sunset dinner. He’s definitely an asset and made our experience so memorable! Now to the food: fresh and flavorsome. Ambience: 100% views are amazing, sunset was stunning Mood: perfect Thanks Leo and team! Well done :)

Amazing view of the sunset, outstanding service, and delicious food! I made a reservation for 6pm but arrived early at around 5:15pm and the host had me seated outside so I get a good view of the sunset. The vibe is chill and elevated. I had the caramelized pear (Rp 150k), a sweet rum-based cocktail and it was delicious. The grilled prawns (285k) were great. It comes with a side of steamed rice. The complimentary bread and the mayo was good as well. The servers were very attentive and offered to take pictures. Highly recommend and will come back!

We had romantic “Twilight dinner” (4 course menu with welcome drink included) at Seasalt restaurant. Food was just excellent! Seafood is fresh and what I really loved is that it is locally sourced fish from Indonesia. Dwi who was hosting and serving us was extremely friendly, professional and kind. We can only highly recommend the place and dinner and would love to repeat the experience!

My husband booked it for my birthday dinner for us and 2 kids. When we arrived they showed us to be sorted at the Bach tables of the restaurant. We confirmed that we called beforehand requesting a better table and we’re advised to arrive a Bit earlier so we could get outside table with nice ocean view. But at the door they informed us that kids are not allowed to take seats outside (the terrace), so we had no option but to sit at the back of restaurant unfortunately… Otherwise food was ok nothing super special to report other than buckwheat noodles and deep fried soft shell crab were outstanding (we even ordered second plate of it) and the salt baked mackerel raw butter. They sang Happy birthday at the end and brought a complimentary slice of carrot cake :)

Must go especially during sunset. We went twice. They have great attention to detail in presentation and flavors. We mainly went for drinks and some snacks. The drinks were balanced and the uncle smokey was hands down the best drink of the day. The pear cocktail was also excellent. No one was disappointed with their drinks. When you order food, they will bring you some complimentary watermelon starters and some bread with special butter that is wrapped in seaweed and buried in black salt.

Everything we ordered was spot on (from the drinks to the dessert), but the laksa and octopus deserve a shout out. Ambience was great and the servers were attentive to our needs. You definitely get what you paid for - overall 5/5 🌟

We reserved a table for a sunset dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We came at 5:30pm and got a table closer to the beach which has a perfect view to view the sunset. The atmosphere was great, with the sunset in Bali the entire meal was really beautiful and romantic. While for the food. we ordered a seafood platter, pork belly and the fish of the day. Unfortunately, the food was good but wasn’t outstanding. With the price point I would expect better food but still worth coming if you’re here for the view and ambience. The service was also perfect.

We recently dined at Seasalt for the Seafood Sunday Brunch, WOW!! What an experience! The quality of the food was 5 star, the staff were attentive and accommodating when we had to move to a table inside and the location was perfect. I've told all my friends they must visit. Special mention to Dana and Desi who made our visit even more enjoyable. Well done Seasalt 👏

This is probably one of my favorite places to watch the sunset and have a delicious dinner. When ordering dinner, a compliment from the chef is a special oil that is baked in black salt... in my attached videos you can see the spectacular presentation. I highly recommend trying it. The taste is really very rich and unusual. I also recommend trying the octopus….very delicate taste. I would still give a minus for the coffee. Not tasty at all…..just not worth it. There are good places near the hotel where you can drink a cup of delicious coffee

What a gorgeous location on the water. We went there for 'boxing day'/day after x-mas buffet lunch and it was wonderful, with great food, a live band, and a perfect day of weather. The service was outstanding and what you would expect at such a venue. Highly recommend it for a special occasion with a beautiful view of the water.

We were south a bit in the heart of seminyak and decided we would walk to this restaurant in the dark along the beach. It was probably a 15 minute walk but we felt safe and most of the beach areas were well lit and quite a few people out. Had to cross some streams that were emptying into the sea but it wasn’t that deep. Arrived at restaurant and sat inside as we were hit and the air was cooler (but it is still all open to the outside) ordered cocktails and mine was a smoky uncle or something. Very fancy delivery and tasted great. Service was also excellent as was the food. We had some things we had never seen before like the bread they bring has butter wrapped in some sort of charcoal salt. Very unique. We had some fish which was fresh and light and mild. Expensive by bali standards but just what we wanted for our last night in Bali!

We had birthday dine at the Seasalt and it was awesome. The place has a beach view and it was not too hot with a beautiful sunset. The staff was wonderful and they share good information about the food. The food itself was very amazing.. i should say it worth the price.. Its a great place to have a celebratory event or just enjoy some drinks by the beach... I love it..

We came here for a dinner during our honeymoon. From the moment we got there we were treated like VIP guests. We had and exceptional view of the sunset and it was perfect. The attention to detail here is top notch. The table service for the bread was amazing, an amuse bouche of compressed watermelon with sea salt and the dinner to follow were all fantastic. We were treated like royalty all evening and I could not recommend Seasalt more. If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary and special, this is where you need to visit. Thank you for making our honeymoon more memorable with an amazing experience.

Catering to various dietary preferences, Chandi provides options for vegetarians, vegans, and those following a gluten-free diet.
This is our first time to Bali and we wanted to experience the food. Wow we had the best meal in a restaurant for a very very long time. I would very highly recommend Chandi. The staff were beautiful. The cocktails divine. I had the best Bloody Mary I think I have ever had. It was too close to perfect. And meals were fantastic. I had a vegan sate taster plate. Just so delicious. So much flavour and beautifully displayed. Thank you for looking after us. I'm afraid we are not going to be giving the other restaurants much of a chance as we will be dining here when in Seminyak.

We walked in to check what vegan options they have on menu and end up having amazing lunch. However the menu shows only vegetarian options the staff was very helpful to show what can be made vegan. The food was fantastic and full of flavor.

Exceptional food. Prices are higher than average for the area, but they match the excellent quality and quantity of the options you'll get here. We went with the duck, seafood platter, and two additional beef/pork dishes along with a few appetizers. There was no wait to be seated, the food was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the value for price was absolutely worth it!

Decorations here are on point and bathrooms are clean. Quiet environment because of covid situation though. 2 for 1 cocktails are great too!

Wow! One of the best meals we’ve had in Bali. It was a last minute decision as we had been in for happier drinks the previous day. I got the chicken green coconut soup, salt & green bell pepper squid and black pepper pork dumplings, which are 3 starters as my main dishes. All where delicious, but the squid was incredible. It was such a good portion size, perfect to share as a starter! We also finished with the mixed desert platter which we shared between 4 and was amazing!! Definitely recommend 100%

We have had a dozen of meals in Seminyak and this was one of the best (want to know who won the 'Bali award', read my other reviews). Went here twice. Price approx. 500-600k pp. We went here twice. The first time, we were actually going for Mama San, but that was fully booked. So we walked up the street towards Seminyak square, where the bars and restarants are. Then we tried Batik (😒), which was very full but we only had to wait a few minutes for our table. So we sat for 5 minutes and since no one was gesturing us for a table, we asked about the 'table status'. Suddenly it would take 'hopefully 15 to 20 minutes'... we left instantly Luckily we found Chandi, 3 minutes walking from Batik. The staff was much more attentive, a porter, welcoming and easy handover to the waitress. Our host was lovely, very attentive and personal without overdoing it. She did not miss anything. PS our second night, we had the same waitress, still very good but becoming less attentive as the evening moved on. Food ****1/2 What I like, is mentioning which food is local, which imported (avoid IMO), fresh or fried. The menu offers a lot of good dishes, expect to take some time to decide. - The sate specials are great, order as a special or individual pieces, at a very decent price. We had 3 individual sate, all sorts. The first time presentation was better. - Meats and fish, grill specials. We had the crispy duck and grilled tuna. Both were excellent! The second night we had Balinese pork belly, which was average. - The Indochine dim sum was quite nice, bit small though. Rendang envelopes very nice, also small. Drinks: try a cocktail (100-120k). Their bar is suited for it. Some cocktails are a bit light, we have had better on Bali, but good. Red Sangria, a spiced Mojito.. whatever you like. Roasted cashew nut baklava: ***** (wow!) Decor is very nice, good atmosphere. Music is fitting. There is seating upstairs. Airco can get a bit windy. Suitable for younger children. Audience is tourists, of course, but mixed and overall pleasant. A dress code would be nice for some.

Lives up to the hype, highly recommended. The menu is pretty extensive and caters well to vegetarians. The food is tasty, expertly cooked and crafted, with sizeable portions presented artfully. The only minor downside was the maître d' - he seemed impatient... I mean who knows why, but he was annoyed with my table the moment we sat down. We had a reservation and was sat promptly

Chandi has opened up recently and I went their for a family dinner. The food was very fresh and I was impressed with the variety of vegetarian food.. portions were quite small..but the food was yummy..we had to order it twice. We had the tofu, coconut wonton and the Tempe spring roll. All very flavourful. Even the nasi goreng hijau vegetarian was tasty. Will definitely come back for more.

Ended up here this evening on the last night of a girls holiday. The food was absolutely incredible. The best meal I’ve had here in Bali, and I dare to say right up there with one of the best meals I’ve had in many years. I’m not into big portions so I had the starter dim sum. Little bite sized flavour bombs! Perfect. My friend had the glazed salmon which she devoured so heartily I didn’t get to try any. I got two massive thumbs up from her. My other friend had the tofu rice dish. I’m normally quite carnivorous but tasted this and could skip meat and just eat this. A nice little spice kick and so flavourful. We also had the flat bread with peanut sauce. Again, so delicious. After finishing off all of these, we had the edamame left. We thought we were too full. But they were too good to waste so got happily finished off. Finally, we shared a jug of classic mojito. It was perfectly made, not too sweet. And expertly poured so we didn’t have to fuss with the mint and lime ratio. Service was efficient, polite and unobtrusive. A perfect end to the holiday. Wish I could eat here again though. Highly recommend!

Generally the portion sizes in Bali have been disappointing. But the portion size for the mains was great. Ordered corn fritter, pork dumplings, crispy duck, noodles to go with our cocktails and mango smoothie. All the items were great but the crispy duck topped the flavour. On the pricer end obviously but good for a decent date meal.

Another spectacular dining experience at Chandi although traffic here was horrendous! A nicely decor Bali style restaurant with open air concept. It was well lit with Xmas decor with a huge tree at the main entrance; just right for the festivity! A warm and romantic atmosphere, service was immaculate. I had the barramundi with special Balinese sauce highly recommended by the waiter! It was served with rice but they kindly changed it with steamed mixed greens!! For starters, I decided to have the mixed sate (chicken breast, minced tuna and butterfish). Best was the butterfish which tasted meatly almost like monkfish, succulent! There are way too many awesome restaurants in Bali, and Chandi is definitely one of them.

Motel Mexicola is a vibrant and trendy dining spot in Seminyak, Bali, offering a unique Mexican experience. The colorful concept and tropical oasis setting make it a popular choice for both locals and tourists. During the day, it's a laid-back restaurant serving traditional Mexican dishes and mezcal cocktails. As the sun sets, the atmosphere transforms into a lively fiesta with free tequila being poured for patrons.
Amazing Mexican food that we never had in Sydney Australia. The taste, flavors, presentation everything was to the point. The food was served in a timely manner. The ambience made it to enjoy your food. The seating time is limited to 2 hours but then you can grab a chair at the bar. The Mexican food we had there was very close to what we had in San Diego. If you are in Seminyak or around you must visit this place.

One of the must visit place for Mexican food and great songs to dance the night away Bali. It has awesome colourful interior and cool, relax and cozy vibe. We enjoyed our dinner at Mexicola so much last time we were here, so we had to come again. We should have just stayed with the good memories. The atmosphere is still good with an eclectic mix of music. However the food has gone downhill sadly and it’s not what it was. I think we’ll give it a miss next time!

We went to have a night out with food and drinks on Friday night. The food was really great, we shared a selection of different tacos and quesadillas. The music and the DJ were really fun. We had a great time there. The staff are also very friendly and they were telling us about upcoming events. They were always checking on our table and if we needed anything. The prices are not as cheap as you can see in the menu but it's in the middle range compared to what we paid in Bali.

Nice place to spend the night. The beverages is also taste really good. The mix of the music is enjoyable, and it can make local and international people to blend it by providing a stage where everyone can dance together to enjoy the music. Maybe must improve the air-flow inside the bar. Some fans are quite dirty, maybe it cant work effectively. And should need improvement for air-conditioning especially during weekend. I was treated by one of their security 1 shot of vodka and lime liquor. I think he is the head of security there. He is Balinese, quite tall in appearance, lives near Canggu, but I am sorry that I forgot his name. He is a very nice kind, and I have good chitchat with him. Hopefully I can meet him again in this bar. Overall, this place is awesome.

Looooved this place! The food is massively underrated. It’s super good! But the dancing and the music are so distractingly fun that you actually don’t pay attention to the fact that the food is actually good. The decor is outstanding and the vibes out of this world. GO on Friday - you won’t forget it.

Might be an unpopular opinion. Yes vibes were really good here but the food … I would say was really mediocre. Came on a day where you had to order their set menu, which we were pretty fine about it since the price and the number of dishes seems pretty fair. The meal started off quite good, but after the tacos everything went downhill the chicken was super dry, everything tasted bland. Would have love it if we get to choose what to order. Honestly think it might be because everything was mass made that the taste just wasn’t that good. If you’re just here for the atmosphere, drinks and party well then it is a really nice place.
Amanda Ong — Google review
My recent visit to their Canggu branch sparked an intriguing comparison after having been to their Seminyak location just a few days earlier. This experience allowed me to distinctly discern the notable disparities in food preparation and flavor between the two. Undoubtedly, when it comes to culinary excellence, Seminyak outshines Canggu. The distinction is particularly evident in the authentic taste and preparation of the dishes, such as the notably superior guacamole in Seminyak. The flavors were richer, the ingredients more authentically balanced. While both venues provided an exhilarating atmosphere for dancing and revelry, it became evident that when the primary focus is on the food, the Seminyak branch stands out. The vibrancy and joy of dancing and partying were equally present in both locations, yet the Seminyak branch remained the superior choice for a satisfying and delightful dining experience.

Has a really good time at motel Mexicola, I can see why this place is so Popular. Surprisingly it’s not just the decor and party vibes, but the food is really good. Be careful when you are made to buy drink coupons before getting in. They have issues with what cocktails one can buy. And most people end up paying for an extra drink. It's an unnecessary screw up from their side. The staff tried to over charge us initially but when we told them it's unfair, they rectified it. The food was very tasty. We got the Feed Me menu for the table. The drinks were very good. The place has a very fun vibe with a lot of young drunk people dancing all through the evening. Motel Mexicola is an institution for all Bali visitors. And it does not disappoint. Be prepared to stand in line to get in, specially during the holidays. But it is worth the wait.

The food was good and the cocktails were good too but we had our table only for 45 minutes because after that time the place was open for the party atmosphere it was not a problem but in the middle of the party when I was enjoying with friends, a waiter came to ask us for the table where we were dancing, I thought why he was removing it, but no, he simply moved us to take it to a friend who owned it. I'm also paying, so it was very annoying for me. Very disappointed and was hoping for a better place as some people recommended me to visit it on my trip to Bali.
PAOLA CAMACHO — Google review
The atmosphere here is one of the best on Bali. The place was rocking when I went and each time I went passed. The food was average, but it's focus is the party atmosphere, which is led by the music, internal layout and design. More of a place for under 30's, I felt a little out of place, being 50, but still thoroughly enjoyed my couple of hours here and would recommend it for anyone who wants a great atmosphere in a club environment. The 5 stars is purely because it is so led my the music, not the food.

Vibes and service were great but that's about it. Food was alright and nothing much to shout out about. There are definitely better food options out there in Bali. Churros were really disappointing as it was soggy and not crispy. Tacos were alright. Their main duck dish was really good and a must order!

Nestled in Seminyak, Mrs Sippy Bali is a well-known beach club with an expansive shoreline retreat. It features the largest saltwater pool on the island, where visitors can relax and unwind. The sleek eatery at this popular establishment offers a variety of delectable seafood and prime cuts of meat, along with a selection of refreshing cocktails.
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak is Mrs Sippy. With Greek island vibes and the iconic diving board, this place is a must now that we can return to Bali! What a glorious place to spend the afternoon! Friendly and attentive staff, food is fantastic and the cocktails are delicious. Really worth every cent. Would recommend the snapper burger and the mango daiquiri. Food approx 100k-180k a meal but very big serves, drinks similar. Can’t wait to come back when the crowds return to Bali and see Mrs Sippy when she’s busy and thriving!

Spent half-a-day here, and had a really good time. Arrived early - around 10am - so it was pretty empty still, and I could pretty much chose where I wanted to sit. There's an entrance fee, and you also need to pay for towels - no you can't bring your own. Then you have the choice of just sitting on the tables - free of charge - or paying for the sunbeds which vary in price - better check the website directly for prices. But that's consumable, meaning what you pay for the sunbeds you can use for food and drinks until that paid amount. Then you need to pay as you order. There's great food and drink selection here, I can recommend the pork and fish tacos if you want something small to nibble on. The swimming pools are great, with kids options, and a couple of platforms to jump - 3m and 5m high. Plenty of staff around to order stuff and you have plenty of bars/quiosques scattered around if you want order directly there too. The place isn't that big, but it's large enough. As it gets later in the day - from 11:30-12:00 - then folks start flocking in and it does get pretty busy. Atmosphere is nice, some music on the background. Highly recommended, though it might not keep you busy for a whole day.

What a cool place! We spent a few hours here on Saturday and had an awesome time. There was a great atmosphere the whole time we were there, with a good choice of music. The pool looks brilliant along with the floaty bean bags and diving boards. We were also very impressed with the quality of the food. The only thing to be aware of is how quickly the tab can rack up. There’s a big service charge and the place is quite pricey anyway. Still, I’d always recommend coming here. The best beach club I’ve been to.

We came here on an event night in bad weather and it still had quite a nice atmosphere. We found service to be very friendly without being overbearing. Food was good by beach club standards and cocktails were delish. Prices are cheap compared to Australia but expensive for Bali though I would suggest that could be said for most beach clubs.

So much fun! Our waiter (picture attached) was amazing and so attentive! She made sure we had everything we needed and was always quick to get our drinks and food. The food was so nice and I really recommend the Mahi Mahi! The cocktails are yummy, and the frozen drinks are a must, especially on humid hot days. Jumping off the platforms was a blast, and seeing the kids conquer their fears and jump from the highest plaform was amazing. Great place to visit, and the pool wasn't warm, unlike some other places.

Very cool beach club located right behind Alila Seminyak Resort in Seminyak. Went in for lunch and had a very tasty Fried Chicken Burger with shoe string fries 110kRp. Menu has burgers, pizza, salads, loads of pub snack food and all day breakfast like bacon and egg roll 70k and ham and cheese toastie 90k. Knocked back a few excellent Mojitos at 130kRp a pop + service charge and tax.. Guess you paying for the 'view'....lots of eye candy 😀 Cool tunes!

What a beautiful place to hang out, swim and enjoy the sun. Good food with reasonable prices, delicious cocktails, great music and a comfortable day bed to lay on. I strongly recommend to visit this place.. Love the diving board. The staff were helpful and the amenities were very clean.

Beautiful place! We spent half a day there completely worth it! Great place to take kids too the pool has a shallow area for kids and a short diving platform for them to use. Food was a 10 (roast chicken and grilled prawns were especially notable) and the staff was amazing! Very friendly, very attentive and funny! We also ordered a few pitchers of the sippy spritz cocktail and had a great time. Highly recommend!

Just had an amazing time at Mrs Sippy Bali! Tried out their new Jimbaran Style Grill and let me tell you, it's a flavor explosion of authentic Balinese seafood goodness. The vibes at this place are super chill and fun. And the staff… They're just lovely, making the whole experience even better. Oh, and don't even get me started on the diving board - watching the divers while enjoying my meal was an unexpected treat! If you're after killer Balinese flavors, a great vibe, and an all-around awesome time, Mrs Sippy Bali is the spot. Can't wait to visit again!

Great experience! Very affordable. The minimum for a day bed is 500,000 RP which we got two($66) and it was very difficult for us to reach that minimum. We purchased several apps and entrees. All the food was delicious especially the shrimp cocktail and fruit bowl. Staff was very attentive. If we ever make it back to Bali we will absolutely be back.

Like many of the big beach clubs in Bali, Mrs Sippi is a very cool looking venue that will absolutely fleece you at every opportunity. The drinks and food are incredibly over priced and there is a 17% service charge that really stings every time its added on top of an already expensive order. That being said, the venue is very spacious and modern, and the pool looks really cool when it's lit up at night. I can't speak to the crowd on other nights, but it seemed rather pretentious when we visited.

Mrs Sippy was a highlight of our Bali trip. You need to get there early to reserve your area but once you secure it, it's yours for the day. You will need to pay a certain amount (I forget what it was) but if you spend the day here it's worth it if you're getting breakfast, lunch and a few drinks. There are a few undercover spots and the cost is reasonable. We stayed all day and ended up going the next week for another relaxing day by the pool.

Had a blast at Mrs Sippy in Seminyak! The staff were amazing with our baby, making us feel right at home. And let's talk about the 2 for 1 cocktails deal – talk about value! The venue layout was on point too, adding to the whole vibe. Definitely a spot to hit up for some chill time with great drinks and even better company.

100% recommend!! They had great food, drinks and gelato. The service was very good and staff were even willing to take photos for me. They had lots of activities to use when not swimming or eating including; table tennis, corn hole, pool, diving platforms ect. Will come back if I’m ever in Bali again 😍

Man made pool like a beach. Great 1 for 1 cocktails 4pm to 5pm. No actual beach attached, it is walking distance but they don't let u leave and come back. Good food and hang out for the afternoon. Gelato cart was yummy
