Water & Amusement Parks
The Cape Cod Inflatable Park is a popular family destination located at 518 Main Street Route 28 West Yarmouth, Massachusetts. This seasonal park features inflatable slides, ziplines and waterpark attractions for both kids and adults to enjoy. Visitors can also indulge in casual eateries on the premises. The park has massive inflatable obstacles and adrenaline pumping challenges that guarantee endless fun for all ages. It operates seasonally and offers an easy booking process through Group On.
Today was a 10 / 10. We got a great deal on Groupon. Definitely reserve a cabana as a home base. Super clean and comfortable place for the family to hang. Princess was our server and she was fantastic. Super nice and very attentive. Constantly swinging bye to see what we needed. I was amazed at the amount and size of the inflatables. Serious fun for all ages. The Challenge zone was on a whole new level. Great time had by all. I felt the staff did a great job oh yeah and great drinks , frozen favorites and beer.

Took the kids here, we did the 2 park combo, which was not expensive, $60. The kids jumped, ram, laughed, screamed, and fell asleep on the drive home...perfect! Plus, memories were made, so it's a win-win. Bring the family, celebrate birthdays, or just go for fun

Easiest transaction our whole vacation! Booked the tickets on Group on! 3 parks of fun, arcade and ended the day with mini golf! Food on site and everything accessible!

This place is incredible! My kids and I went today and we were blown away! So many great things to do for kids of all ages and really nice for adults too! The park was clean and so was the water. Seating with covering and lounge chair options in every area. There was security, staff and lifeguards all throughout the place! We spent the entire day there and my kids did not want to leave! The owners were walking throughout the park making sure guests were happy and taken care of! 10 out of 10 would recommend! We are already planning our next trip back!

Love this place! Great staff and management! Jeff is top tier when it comes to customer service. He took the rough day we had getting there and flipped it around, had my family in smiles minutes after we arrived! Jeff and his staff saved our day! Thank you helping my family create more beautiful memories

This is a great place to spend a day or two, without having to worry about the kids being grabbed and eaten by a shark. There are plenty of amusements for toddlers, children and teens, and a bar for parents. A Season Pass is a bargain if you plan to return.

So here’s my take on Caped Cod Inflatable park…great fun for the kids. We all had a blast except for unfortunately a few rude employees including the manager himself. When I informed him of the rat in his parking lot his response was, “Well we do have rats in Cape Cod you know!” No I’m sorry, let me buy you a drink, let me give you a discount, absolutely nothing at all. One amazing employee Ramon stood out, if you rent a cabana request him!!!
Angel Andreozzi — Google review
First off , the website has not been updated -still shows parts of the park that are no longer there since the addition of the water park . The ninja warrior like attraction with the zip line is no longer there nor are the larger inflatable slides . Due to this ,it’s not a great place for over 11 . I’d say best age is between 5-8 as most kids under 5 are given a toddler bracelet and can’t do several of the water slides( which are small and does not make sense ) and some of the inflatables . For a day trip I’d say it’s WAY over priced . I don’t drink but the alcoholic drinks were crazy expensive. The wave pool and lazy River were cool and I’d say the park is very clean. Water park closes at 6 which feels way too early considering there is not much to do at the inflatable park . There is a smaller arcade . Staff are not great at keeping rules at the inflatables( mostly on their phone -talking to each other ) making it chaotic and even unsafe for younger kids. Hotel was nice - very clean and beds were the most comfortable I have had in a hotel setting . I loved the outside tables in front of the rooms if you get a room on the lower level. Food is way over priced as well - a Gatorade was $ 4 and a personal pizza was 12 !!! Nice one time trip - overall it was worth it and my four year old enjoyed himself .

It looks like they may have gotten rid of a bunch of inflatables, compared to the older pictures. We didn't see most of the ones that we looked forward to from older reviews. It was super hot, the ground was hot to walk on and we weren't allowed to bring our waters in, the snack bar wasnt opened yet so we had to run out to the car for a water break. Overall worth a visit for sure, a cloudy day or cool evening would be fun!
Tabatha Blanchard — Google review
Love going here every year! They did an amazing job adding new attractions like the wave pool, new bathrooms, ice cream stand and more cabanas. The swim-up bar and surf simulator weren't ready when I visited in mid July. If you get there early, you can get a table/umbrella but a cabana is the way to go either along the lazy river or in front of the wave pool. Get here when they open at 10 and stay all day. You can also come and go as they allow re-entry. Great place!
Howie B — Google review
Visited this spot years ago when it seemed to be a larger inflatable park than water park. Since then, they expanded the water park and appeared to reduce the inflatables. They also started charging $10 for parking. This trip I spent $70 for 2 kids to play for less than 10 minutes. Due to the heat our kids were getting injured while on the inflatables. They were getting burned and sticking to the slides causing them to flip. Maybe next time we will skip the inflatables and try the water park out. 💯 not recommending the inflatables on hot days

Great place for kids! They got rid of most of the inflatables when last time I came and its mainly a water park. It's a nice water park and the staff is friendly. However, the inflatables get super hot on hot days. So watch out for that!

I want to make a shout out to Princess, our Cabana Server. We went there on August 28th. I meant to write this post sooner. Princess was upbeat, friendly, wonderful and an all around good person. She helped our experience to be a great day for all of us. She really cares about her job and made effort and that is hard to come by now a days. Thank you again Princess!

We've been visiting every summer since 2019. The prices just keep increasing. Adding and expanding the water park is a big hit. Just wish they could clean the pools better, watch out for all the bandaids & hair. But the kids always have a blast!
Kevin Beaudoin — Google review
Disappointing visit. Went last year and really enjoyed it. This year, the park was in rough shape. Water areas were quite dirty, as can be seen in the picture. They need to brush the surfaces. Also, there were only staff monitoring the wave pool, lazy river, and inflatable water slide. Staff were not at the bigger water tubes in the back. In the past, there has been someone at the top of the tube making sure people go one at a time and wait for the previous person to get off. This time, no staff was there. Some bigger kids were going down and purposely crashing into each other. They were also running and cutting the smaller kids at the slides. It wasn’t safe or fun. Staff would occasionally walk by and see this, but didn’t do anything.

Mini Golf
Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf is a family-friendly, award-winning theme park featuring two 18-hole pirate-themed mini-golf courses in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts. The imaginative Captain's Course and the bold Blackbeard's Course offer an exciting golfing experience as players navigate footbridges, waterfalls, rocky outcrops, and caves. This Cape Cod landmark brings the adventures of infamous pirates to life with its captivating design.
We had a great time during our trip, ending with a stop at Pirate's Cove. The different levels and wonderful pirate decor left us wanting more. We will definitely check out some of the other locations on future trips. Two big thumbs up!

Me and My husband went here around 11am and it was already pretty busy but it was a holiday weekend so no surprise there. The people in front of us moved pretty quickly. We did the black beards side and we loved it! If your the winner you get a card board hat and little plastic private flag which I thought was a cute little touch for the kids, I asked for mine though and they gave me it no problem.
ELOCIN RUZAM — Google review
What a fun, well-maintained couple of courses, with all sorts of neat tidbits to read as you play along. The employees were extremely friendly and generous. And, simply, the experiences of the sites and signs, with the lovely waterfalls and the caves to walk inside, made for such a joyful time. Highly recommended... for ALL ages. 🙂

There are a lot of mini golf places on this street but Pirates Cove had really good reviews so we decided to give it a try. They have 2 courses and both were equally fun. Each takes about 45 mins to an hour (if it's not crowded). We came on a Sunday around 11am and it wasn't too crowded. The courses were entertaining enough and not too difficult or too easy so it's fun for all ages. There were some minor steps on the courses but they did have a handicap accessible course for those that are not able to climb the steps.

Very clean and well kept course, lots of fun variations and engaging challenges. 2 different courses to choose from or you can do all 36. Great for date night or taking the kids. We did go on off season.

Great place for family fun, or even date night! Was very busy though so we had to wait a bit between holes which was honestly fine! It was a great place with both courses and for the price it was amazing! Will definitely go again next year!
Abby Higgins — Google review
Fun place. 18 holes, par 40. Two different golf paths. We did Blackbeard this time. Lots of little things to read n look at along the way. Lots of little places to sit, areas to get out of the sun.
Kathy Richard — Google review
This mini golf is well kept and the landscape is nicely manicured. You have the choice of two courses to choose from. The putting greens were very straight forward, and they were all a par 2, so not very challenging.

Made the drive from Dartmouth, MA specifically to play a round at Pirate's Cove (a childhood favorite during summer vacations), with my wife and two boys. It had been somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 years since my last visit. I couldn't honestly tell you if anything had changed. The grounds were Absolutely immaculate!! Each putting green was a joy to play!! The staff was very welcoming and pleasant to speak with! My youngest (7 y.o) was planning the next visit on the walk back to the car. We will return to play again!
Todd Fredette — Google review
Pirate's Cove is our favorite mini golf on Cape Cod. It has 2 courses of equal difficulty. Both are naturally pirate themed and feature trivia about pirates that you can enjoy while you wait for players. This is a popular destination, but there are no concessions or video games.

We have lots of fun today after visiting Pirate’s 🏴‍☠️ Cove Adventure Mini golf ⛳️ My kids and I have played mini golf tournament. The place is super cool and well-designed for mini golf champs. Also, it includes very clean toilets 🚽 and huge parking lots for free. Worth to mention that it has some golf field is handicapped friendly, and the view is amazing with the water falls and pirates decorations all around. At the end of the visit upon returning the golf club/putter they give each children pirate hat and small flag. It was super nice!

We had amazing experience in a cloudy day. I am so happy that we choose this mini golf place. You can play game of 18 or 36 holes . Depend how many people are playing for 18 holes can take between 45 min to hour. We did 18 and was 4 of us on a Tuesday and we stay 55 minutes. Scenario was great. Nice place for taking a pictures Service was amazing. They explained to us everything that we need to know in details. They have extra parks on the side. Highly recommending.

Use to suggest guests go there and include the osprey experience. This group decided to try to push the osprey off their property. Instead of including them and building a platform. There are other mini golf courses just as good...

This seasonal spot attracts a diverse crowd of high school and college visitors, as well as families seeking beach vacations due to its clean soft sands, calm waters, and on-duty lifeguards during summer months. The beach provides excellent opportunities for sunbathing with good wave conditions suitable for windsurfing enthusiasts.
Great sandy beach. Has snack bar and bathrooms. Bathrooms are clean. No life guards on duty.

Loved it. Great sand but a lot of shells wear foot covering. Nice facilities and very clean. There was a decent amount of seaweed but it's the ocean What can you do.

nice beach and parking. but they closed parking at night for 4th weekend. very frustrating. we wanted to check out the full moon rise over the ocean at 9pm. They should close parking at 10 or 11 so people can check out sunset/evening walk time. - visited 7/3/23 at 8:50pm

We came with small children on a gorgeous Sunday morning around 9am and there was plenty of parking. $20 for the day and you could come and go if you like! Warm water, tons of shells for kids to collect. Concessions with ice cream
Kelly Thayer — Google review
Great beach. Somehow we always ended up back here throughout our weekend stay. The kids loved it here. From the views, to the massive amounts of shells to collect to the cleanliness of the beach this one definitely gets 5 stars. I initially took concern with paying 20$ for these beach spots but after seeing how clean these beaches are and how the cig smokers and dog owners are kept at bay, it's actually a price worth paying.

What a way to spend a relaxing summer afternoon. We visited this little beach in charming Cape Cod. There was a $20.00 fee to park, which was a little steep. But we found the bathroom to be clean, perhaps the fee dissuades large numbers of visitors. The water was warm. I am surprised how little waves there are on the East Coast. When we visited there was a lot of seaweed. Kind of freaked my wife out. I don't know if this is normal for all of Cape Cod or just this neach.
Allen Todd — Google review
Spacious beach with soft sand. Not a lot of rocks or seaweed. It can get really windy at times but on a calm day it's a great beach to go to. The beach attendants are very helpful and even gave us a map of Yarmouth beaches when Seagull was too windy for our kids. Parking is free after 4pm. Highly recommended - one of the best mid Cape beaches.

Warm Water, clean beach but does have sea shell scattered all over the sand, minimum seaweed in the water, $20 parking for the day, concessions stand and a pier that allows for handicap person to bring their wheelchair closer to the sand and ocean. I cant swim, but i was able to walk far into the water. The waves were a bit strong. But not enough to deter some water fun

The Whydah Pirate Museum features artifacts recovered from the 18th-century pirate ship Whydah, which was used for slave trade. Notably, the museum is the only place where you can see an authentic treasure from a pirate ship. It took about 20-25 minutes to do the full tour. No photography allowed inside the museum.
We were looking for an adventure during February break and we found one! This was such a cool experience and we really enjoyed every minute. I would recommend this for children maybe 7 and up who can read, or you will be reading and explaining everything to them.
Whitney Wynne — Google review
Mu husband and I went with my son and grandchildren to check this museum out. We all loved it. It was really well organized and the set ups were very interesting. I loved the themed settings with mannequins dressed in period costumes. My granddaughter loved the map where they had to find items around the museum. We backtracked several times to find them all. I would go again any time.
Heli Roy — Google review
I really enjoyed visiting this museum. I was impressed with the displays and artifacts. I thought it was very cool watching water being used to uncover the found items and x-ray views of the chunks of rock that held the said items. Plus the only pirate treasure chest with all the loot was on display. Awesome time!
B Lipka — Google review
This was our first visit since the museum was in Ptown a while back. Well told story on display of the Whydah, her crew, it's discovery, salvage, and conservation. Lots of attentive kids in the museum that had a great mix of artifacts and easy to understand informational placards. Having just finished reading a book on the Whydah, I found that "seeing the story" told in artifacts was very enjoyable.
Bill Culp — Google review
Fantastic displays of artifacts recovered from the Whydah, lots of information, a great video, interesting facts, a whole room dedicated to the recovery process and preservation of some of the artifacts, and a really cool gift shop. Well worth the ticket price if you read all the information on the displays, (SO interesting!) and they stagger groups to keep it from getting crowded. Really great group rate, too, you only need 15 people. Reserve ahead! Photos are from the lobby and entrance (after admission); no photography is allowed after the video room.

A fascinating and incredible museum!! Awesome for all ages! The guided tour is 110% worth it and was led by the very individual who does the restorative work! The story told, artifacts seen, and layout were just incredible! Everything displayed is real and pulled from the wreck. So amazingly cool

(Note: I write these reviews in part for my own nationwide business clients, for travel and activity inspiration! I’m a financial planner - CFP®️practitioner - with a focus on retirement wealth strategies, primarily serving business women and LGBTQ individuals. #VirtualPlanningCraftedWithCare®️) For a small town museum, this place is well worth a visit. It’s authentic and educational, not just for entertainment. It has cool displays, a video intro and the tour ends in their archaeology lab where you get to see live conservation work. It’s family-friendly, good for couples and seniors. The layout is easily accessible. The tickets were also fairly priced for the size of the museum and the conservation work they do. Plenty of parking and easy to find. It’s right next door to the pirates cove mini golf 😁

It was neat to see the history of the Whydah and some of the pieces that are currently being being worked on. Took about 20-25 minutes to do the full tour. No photography allowed inside the museum.

This is a GREAT MUSEUM with REAL artifacts and some treasure from an actual sunken pirates ship. There are cannons, pistols, gold and silver coins, silver dinnerware and much more. They have a lot of historical information about this ship and pirates in general. They also had a lab that you could walk through to see and learn about the cleansing process of the artifacts.
Sharon Doyle — Google review
Travellers and Maties, we love a good pirate museum and this museum is a gem. There is a lot packed into this museum dedicated to the recovery of the pirate ship Wydah. There are so many things including the ships cannons, the ships stove, and even the ships treasures, like jewelry and very old coins. The history of the ship wreck is well documented and well told through visuals, physical exhibits, and audio. The concretion room is very interesting. It is parts of the ship that are encased in a concrete format under water that can’t be removed. They are in salt water tanks and kept filtered like the ocean. There are x rays of what is encased inside the large concrete rocks. The exhibit on the pirates was fascinating. We all felt sorry for the little boy who died. The pirate life was not always fun and easy and there exhibits devoted to what happened to the naughty pirates. This is a fun and interesting museum for the whole family. The gift shop has fun items as well. Take your time there is a lot to see. Check it out. We recommend. TLDR - great family fun

It is its own hidden treasure. We really did not know what the museum was about. After touring the museum we totally enjoyed it. Bought the book and we can not wait to learn more. We will be back! Definitely recommend checking it out.

It was awesome to see and touch real buried pirate treasure!! Having a pirate on site to take the kids through would be kind of cool because there were kids running around out of control at times!! The history of it was great!! Would be cool to have scheduled dates/times when Barry Clifford would be there to meet him!!!
Carla Czarnecki — Google review
This place was awesome. Our 3 year old, who is way into Pirates right now had a blast and walked thru it twice. It had some really good history components and I felt like I was in a discovery channel documentary. Definitely worth a stop.

This exceeded my expectations! This was fantastic – there was so much great information. The displays were interactive, and everything in this museum was actual and real! I would highly, highly recommend, taking the walking tour with the tour guide, Jessica. She not only creates the museum, but she also is responsible for preserving some of the artifacts that they have pulled up year after year. It is really interesting. There is a ton of information and the museum is really well done. The big pile of treasure in the display case is actually real, too so there’s lots of gold and silver. I highly recommend that you go – this was an amazing experience! Five stars – 10 if I could give it!

So much fun for the whole family. There is a scavenger hunt with a list of items and pictures to circle as you discover them. There are activities for kids and lots of information to gather for adults as well as kids. Go and discover for yourself!
B C — Google review
Here's a little true background for all you history buffs. I worked on the original salvage of this wreck, and my parents and many family friends were collage friends of Clifford, and were original investors in this project. It should be known that Barry Clifford didn't discover the Whydah acting alone as he would have others believe - in fact the site was well known for many years by locals before he showed up, nor did he pay for the salvage out of his own pocket or do it alone. There were hundreds of thousands of dollars raised from various investors via "Maritime Explorations" his salvage company, who were issued stock certificates for their financial support, but most never received a dime in return or any credit. Clifford would have the public believe he acted alone and personally discovered and salvaged this wreck, which is just false. Once the site was verified and diving began in the summer of 1986, Clifford ended up pushing out his loyal friends and supporters, ignoring their claims and taking all the glory for himself. Clifford continues to generate a living from this museum but his story of the Whydah is also in large part fabricated, exaggerated and fictionalised with the help of sham archaeologist Ken Kinkor. "Black" Sam Bellamy is largely a fictional character. Clifford, like the pirates before him, has made a living out of outright stealing. The museum may be good, but just know, this museum is built on fraud. Also know that by supporting this museum you are supporting a liar and a thief. Photo below is the original stock certificate issued to my father who was one of several original investors, divers, ex-friends, and who never received anything for his efforts or investment, except one small momento 😎
Jesse Peery — Google review
An incredible museum. The only upset was that I had to leave early to go to work because when I booked the ticket online, it had 1-hour time slots so I understood that it would only takes an hour. In an hour and a half I didn’t even get through half of the museum. Not a downside because the museum has so much to see and it’s so well done. Just wish that I would’ve known that it would take longer so that I could’ve gone a day where I had more time. But I already bought my next ticket and I’m looking forward to going back and learning more.
Kristina Prete — Google review
This is a great place for kids and adults. Starting with a short film, the museum Takes you through the history of the pirate ship found off the coast of the cape in 1984, the Whydah. What they recovered is amazing including the world’s only pirate treasure, pure silver and gold. They have the galley stove, munitions and so much more. The artifacts are amazing. Definitely worth the stop. Plus we got cool t shirts in the gift shop! We went off-season in Feb.the only time we would venture to the Cape.

The stories, the artifacts, the "treasure maps" were all very nicely done. My 3 children enjoyed it as much as my wife, in-laws, and myself had. A touch out if the way from where we were staying while there, but worth the drive

Bass River Beach, also known as Smugglers Beach, stands out among the other beaches in Yarmouth mainly due to its fine white sand, fishing dock and breathtaking views. This beach offers two distinct experiences: a small section of calm waters facing Bass River and a larger section facing Nantucket Sound. The facilities are top-notch and conveniently located near various accommodations along MA Route 28.
Fantastic beach! Great place for a picnic near the grass or delightful walk along the shore, let the gentle waves lap yours feet while telling stories. Jetty is ideal spot for a pic or maybe sit at the end watch boats cruise as you make detailed plans 👍🏽

Captain Parker's Pub is a popular seafood restaurant in New England that serves up delicious fare such as clam chowder. The restaurant is located on the banks of Parkers River and is open year round. It is family friendly, and famous for its award-winning chowder.
Great menu, friendly service and really good food. The meatloaf was excellent and the grilled Reuben was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The scallops with bacon were good but needed a sauce. I didn’t photograph my food because I was too hungry and it looked too good.😀 Also, the portions are huge!

The best chowder on the Cape, bar none and I've tried many over the past 27 years of visiting the Cape. This time I ordered scallop stuffed potato skins. Wow!! So amazing. Loaded with tender, fresh scallops. Very unique. It should be added to their regular menu. I have recommended this place to many friends and they've all loved it.

Cape Cod staple. Quintessential Cape restaurant experience and a must stop for anyone! Phenomenal clam chowder, worth traveling for. Lots of clams and the perfect consistency. I've had many dishes here but the lobster roll and fried scallops are two I personally love to get. They are always spot on and the perfect summer treat! Get yourself a mudslide or their rum punch to wash your food down.

My family and I visited on a Saturday evening in April and only had to wait a few minutes for a table. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive the entire time! We originally came here for the famous clam chowder, which was incredible to say the least, but the rest of our entrees were equally as great! I really enjoyed the salmon burger along with my family enjoying the stuffed shrimp and Mac & cheese. It really seems like you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu and highly recommend checking this place out! They have tons of seating with both indoor and outdoor options!

Travellers, Captain Parker’s restaurant is a wonderful seafood experience and quintessential cape cod food. The chili was very good. The Caesar salad is good with a creamy dressing. We had it with grilled chicken and it made an excellent meal with the chili. The clam chowder in the bread bowl is delicious and quite filling. It was too hard to eat the whole thing. The wedge salad is huge and very well done. It is something to order here. The fish sandwich is also huge and perfectly fried. The sandwich is well balanced and was perfect with the wedge. The build you own Mac and cheese was fantastic. It was a huge amount of food and being able to add what you want to add made it that much better. Finally the stuffed shrimp were excellent and so were the sides they came with the shrimp. The restaurant is festive and cozy and charming. Folks are bustling around and having a nice time. The service is with a smile. It is a great place to have a meal with family and friends. Check it out. We recommend. Happy holidays. TLDR - great food worth the visit

Truly one of the greatest clam chowders I've had. It was a filling portion for $9. The Belgian pretzels were really good, although a bit on the cool side in their centers. They came with an interesting, yet tasty dipping sauce. We also enjoyed a salmon burger and fries. A great choice if you like salmon patties. 👌 A 40 minute wait turned into only 5 minutes and our food came out FAST.

I know they’re famous for their Clam Chowder but if you haven’t also tried these, you’re missing out. 1. The Coconut Shrimp Appetizer! So Good! 2. The Fisherman’s Platter! So much fried goodness! We ordered with the clam bellies! Yum! 3. The oysters! Although I did get a piece of shell in one of them, that salty freshness was so Amazing that I’d definitely order them again. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Matt, the bartender, was excellent. Friendly and attentive. We had the chicken wings in the bourbon sauce - crispy and delicious. The onion rings were great. My husband had the steak tips, just melt in your mouth tender. I had the Hot Buttered Lobster Roll - huge chunks of fresh lobster in a roll, with coleslaw and fresh chips. Everything was delicious. Look forward to coming back!

This place literally has the beat seafood I've ever had, and I live on the coast in Maine where there is access to fresh seafood all the time. But this place hands down is the best. The restaurant setup and decor gives you that classic cape coastal experience that Massachusetts is know for and the staff greeted me very warmly and made sure I was taken care of completely even though I was only getting take out. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

One of the best clam chowders I've had!! Also loved the fish and chips with coconut crusted fish, delicious 😋 I also tried their own Captain Parker's Ale and thought it was excellent, if you like Sam's Brick Red, it reminded me of that. CHEERS 🍻 Lastly, the service was great. The waitress was very pleasant and prompt with everything. My first time there and very pleased overall. Would highly recommend

When it’s good, it’s fantastic! This was the best fish n chips I’ve ever had in New England - I would drive for four hours just to have it. The chowder is also a must-have. The appetizer of littleneck clams ( served with a silly gravy and butter “dip”) are gross and not well-thought out, yet expensive. The kids menu leaves much to be desired. A huge plus that it is across the street from the beach!

Went here ten years ago and it is still the same as I remember. Best Clam Chowder on the Cape! (I hear from my wife) but it has great non seafood options and I think the best fries I’ve had all week!

Wow this place was an amazing find! Checked in down the street for a few days stay and wanted to find a causal dinner option and had got recommendations to come here. They initially quoted a 45 minute wait on a holiday so we were fine with that. Ended up being about 20. We very impressed with the staffs teamwork and efficiency. They have constant turnaround on tables and food without sacrificing the quality at all! We got burgers and sandwiches by the entrees and apps also looked incredible. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the decor too. Definitely a must visit in the area!

Great Cape Cod seafood restaurant with some of the best clam chowda in New England. Servers are very friendly. Has a rustic feel inside. The bar area has a ton of fire uniform patches from all over the world!!! The main dining area has lots of windows and is very well lit. On my last visit my youngest and I each had chowda, she had the lobster macaroni and cheese and I had the baked Cod. Everything was delicious! I have had their fried seafood in the past, always cooked perfectly!

The appetizer was good, nacho's. Clam Chowder 8.2, good stuff, would recommend. The wife had apple and walnut salad. She said it was real good. Dessert was excellent, both of them. Service was a solid 10. Atmosphere can't be beat. Felt like hometown spot to a tourist.

I had so many clam chowders and lobster rolls in the area, but this place by far has great food of both!! The service was great as well! Super friendly people there!

Nice little place. Onion rings are really good. Lazy mans lobster was decent. However, wife ordered a steak cooked medium, but it came out well done. Like really well done. All in all, other than that debacle, it was good.

CHOWDER IS THE BEST (OR AS GOOD AS THE BEST) I JAVE HAD. COME HERE FOR THE CHOWDER. The fried food is light fried, so not heavy greasy. They have a nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Was happy to try one as I do not drink. I will return for the chowder- absolutely beware- the "mate" size is larger than you would think (see pic) . mate size is 6oz the "captain size" is 12oz. It is a bit on the expensive side, esp for lunch, but the chowder is worth it!

This place is fantastic. A lot of good food options. Good service. Try: -clam chowder is definitely one of the best -warm lobster roll is delicious. Fries and Cole slaw were great too -pretzel sticks were amazing. Felt high quality and fancy. Wasn’t just a piece of bread. Skip the tuna poke wontons. Wasn’t bad but nothing special.

Outstanding food, quick friendly and helpful service. The chowder was excellent and very creamy so I can see why it won many awards. The Caeser salad was quite tasty as well but had a bit too much dressing. Got the fish and chips crunchy style which was excellent. Overall great experience and can understand why it is so popular and well visited.

Fabulous clam chowder. The lobster roll was all giant pieces of perfectly cooked claw meat and the fries were to die for. Can’t wait to go back! 🦞

We sat on the patio on a beautiful day. The staff was friendly, we were told a 20 minute wait, it was only 9 minutes! Food came quickly after we ordered. Everything was delicious. Cooked just right, flavored even more perfectly. Highly recommend stopping if you’re in on the south end of the cape!

Wonderful place! Awesome food, pretty cool view of the beach and really great staff! Stopped in for lunch and had Madison as our server - she was super attentive but not overbearing & she really knew the menu & offered some great suggestions. She was really really kind, too!! The place was really clean and organized. Got the fish taco … yes, it’s ONE taco but that’s all you need because it was HUGE and so delicious! We started off with the fried chowder - don’t skip on that - GET IT! Literally perfect. Everything on the menu was so reasonably priced too. Quality of the food was really on point!! This won’t be our last!! My kids and husband all said that we need to return! Oh wait - I forgot to mention… you can get a frozen cocktail with YOUR FACE on it. Not kidding - ask your server. It’s so cool!!

Good food, good service, and definitely fits the Cape Cod aesthetic! Went early in the off season so we didn’t have a problem getting a table. They don’t take reservations so I would go early in the Summer to make sure you’ll be taken care of.

First time coming here. Went on a Friday night around 5pm. Got seated right away, staff was very attentive and the food came very fast- hot and fresh. Prices are reasonable and comparable to most seafood places at the Cape. I got the calamari dish with fries. The batter wasn't greasy and there was a lot of food on the plate. Unable to finish and made great leftovers the following day.

Lived this place! Needed to wait approximately 20 minutes for my table since I arrived at 6pm with no reservation. But no problem...I walked across the street to the beach. Then they texted me when ready. And the food.... absolutely delicious. Had a wonderful cup of New England clam chowder. To die for! Had a scallop roll with large and tender scallops. Served with FF and Cole slaw. And even the Cole slaw was great. A bit expensive...but this is the Cape, so it is normal for a nice dinner place on the Cape. Will certainly go again!

Highly Recommend!! We had such a great time here, and the food was FABULOUS! Shrimp cocktail, deep fried clam chowder, bowls of clam chowder, and the quohog for appetizers and all of if was great. Of all the places we stopped on our east coast trip, I think the clam chowder here was indeed the BEST! We had a couple of whole lobsters which were HUGE and cooked perfectly. Giggled a little when a hostess brought my brother (who didn't even have lobster) a bib because she was concerned about myself and my mom's ability to not spray him with lobster 🙈. He had a deep fried seafood platter that did not disappoint. We didn't save room, but had to have desert, and wow it was also great!

Excellent food and service! Came across on the early side for dinner on a Thursday. We were welcomed and seated immediately. The clam chowder was recommended and it was excellent- really thick and creamy. We had fish and chips that were excellently prepared and a good value. There is a pretty extensive bar menu as well as wine and beers. The house Margaritas were very good. This was my first visit and will definitely be back.

Our party had a lobster roll, a fried seafood platter, and lobster ravioli. We also had the calamari appetizer. Everything was absolutely wonderful. We slightly regretted the appetizer despite its deliciousness only because the portions were huge and we left stuffed. Great place and we’ll definitely be back!

Our family enjoyed a fantastic dining experience at this wonderful restaurant. We were a little late for lunch and the place was almost packed to capacity. Luckily we were seated at the ocean facing table. We ordered fisherman’s platter, fried clam chowder, onion rings, crispy chicken sandwich and beer. Taste and quality of food was excellent especially the fresh catch of seafood was mouth watering. Service was as good as it could be at such busy hours. Must visit if you are in Cape Cod.

Drove out to Cape Cod just for the seafood and this place did not disappoint. Great views, high energy staff, lively atmosphere, and some of the freshest seafood I’ve ever had. The lobster roll is insane. The chowder is awesome to pair it with. If you are curious about literally anything on the menu..I’d encourage you to try it. It will be good. Highly recommended.

We were a party of 14, which is understandably large. They had to smoosh us into a side room, the other guests were a bunch of men back from golfing and they were loud. The wait was about an hour and 15 minutes, again we were a large group so understandable on a Sunday- we went at 4:30 pm as they recommended. Came here last year for ice cream which was ok. The food here was great, especially the clam chowder. The clam chowder cakes/fried clam chowder was also amazing. Fish taco was huge, drinks were pretty good. Our server was nice, came to check on us regularly despite being busy so that was really nice.

We had a special mid week dinner after Labor Day. We parked across the street. We were contacted by phone when they were ready for us. We had a very kind server. Out drinks were wonderful. My sister thought her fish tacos were tge absolute best. I had huge delicious scallops! Huge! We enjoys the chowder leaving no room for their ice cream. From the second floor we could see the beach. We’d go back in a minute.

Nice place. Started on the covered heated outside deck but still too cold so moved inside. The chowder was good but we’ve had better on the Cape. My husband got the steamers (market price and he didn’t ask: $28!! for an appetizer 🤦‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️). He said they were good but not $28 good 🙄. We shared the hot lobster sandwich—best we’ve ever had! So yummy! And the house made seasoned chips were fantastic, too. So, yes, we’d recommend.

What a great time we had. We walked in without a reservation, eight of us, and got a table right away. The staff was so friendly. We had the fried clams, lobster roll (butter), fish and chips, fried chicken sandwich, and burger. Everything was so fresh and the prices are hard to beat (especially if you’re coming from the city-Boston). The cocktails were also really good. I will come back here multiple times if I could

Prepare for 2hr+ wait over dinner time during weekend. Fried calamari was good. Fresh and perfectly cooked. Items on Fisherman’s platter: clam, fish and shrimp were good. However, the scallop has some off flavor, a little funky maybe just my taste bud. Cold lobster roll was ok nothing special. Service was good. Reasonably priced in general. Will comeback and try the steamed dishes next time.

Wow! This was phenomenal! I really enjoyed my experience here and we got a beautiful table in a covered porch with an ocean view! I can’t believe how awesome this was. The food was plentiful and unusually delicious. This might be one of the highlights of my entire vacation. Elijah was my server and did a fantastic job, keeping our drinks filled and the food coming! I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t say enough good things about it! You can’t get a bad thing on the menu and make sure you save some for the dessert s!! Elijah deserves a raise!

We got seated with no wait time as we were only 3, but for larger parties the wait time is more than an hour here mostly. We ordered fish and chips and a lobster roll. I found the fish and chips a little oily. I have definitely had better fish and chips. The lobster roll was okay too. Giving it 4 stars because everything is okay but just not great and we were seated quickly. I would definitely visit again but maybe order different things. The parking is pretty cramped so you might have a hard time with that. The service was really quick so that was a bonus!

This menu offers an incredible variety of delicious and high-quality dishes that truly tantalize the taste buds. The seafood selection is exceptional, featuring award-winning chowder, a range of rolls, and creative options like the 'Fried Clam Chowder' and 'Tuna Wanton Nachos'. The land options are equally enticing, from the 'Friendly Fisherman' sandwich to the 'Maple Glazed Duck Breast'. The menu caters to various dietary preferences with salads, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. The Skipper's Dressings are a must-try! The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. The ambiance, as described in other reviews, is cozy and inviting. I can't wait to wait for the next time!

The venue is nice, fairly modern. There are a lot of different areas to sit in, which is fun. We made a reservation, but didn't specify an area. The only place I'd recommend NOT to sit, is where we were placed: right next to the giant indoor water wheel. It was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk, and our waitress couldn't hear us when ordering. We went on a Saturday night for a birthday dinner date night. We made a reservation a week in advance, were sat right away when we arrived (hostess was very friendly), but were not visited by the waitress for over 15 minutes at which point she let us know they were running very slowly due to low staffing. Even though we were ready to order drinks and dinner, she said she'd be back to take our orders. We waited for another 10 minutes, placed our orders, and it took about 20 minutes to get our mixed drinks. I completely understand the staffing shortage right now, but if that is really why the service was slow, they shouldn't take as many reservations. The server was very friendly, but mentioned the staffing/workload too often, which made it a little awkward. Despite the very slow service, the cocktails and food were great. The bread was delicious and calamari app special was excellent. My boyfriend loved his pecan crusted cod. I got the chicken Atlantis, which was probably the largest helping size I've ever had. The seafood on it was great. We decided not to get dessert because by the time we'd finished dinner, it had been almost 2.5hrs, plus we were really full. I'd recommend coming here if it's during a less busy day of the week/time of day, or if you don't mind a lengthy stay. I don't usually mind an extended dinner/slower service because it gives me time to digest, but this was just a little too slow for me, especially being unable to have a conversation. I also don't usually complain about slow service in reviews because I know everyone is dealing with staffing shortages, but this was just too slow not to mention and could be mitigated by limiting the amount of guests at once.

Nine years ago, my spouse treated me to a romantic evening out for dinner at the Yarmouth House. We had such a lovely time here. I'll never forget sitting with him in the front window by the mill wheel in dim lighting while sipping wine and eating chicken kabobs, hoping one day to have this experience again. I can gladly say that even though time has passed since our first dining experience here and prices have increased over the years, understandably, of course. But even so, not all has changed, thankfully. The traditional cozy rustic ambiance has remained the same, and the service is still as pleasantly elegant as I remember. We were very pleased with our chosen meals, the fish and chips, and the squash chicken ravioli. The portions were very generous in size, so plentiful it took me a long time to polish through it all. I'm sure my server may have reservations of me being one of the slowest eaters he's ever witnessed. But I didn't waste a bite! 😉 My meal was too delicious not to finish even at a snails pace. Haha!

First trip for myself and our new baby boy. My wife had previously been here years back as a child with her family on vacation. My wife remembered enjoying her time here, so we returned many years later having our own family. We are so glad we did! It all started with a warm greeting at the door and we were seated at the window facing the water wheel. The atmosphere is comfortable and on trend, while still paying respect to the vintage history. Cheryl our waitress was full of character and did her job perfectly 👏😃. She was kind to share some quick stories of her own children with us. My wife and I loved it. She clearly has a passion for family, food, and customer service. With it being extremely hard to find dependable employees in today's environment, I was pleasantly pleased to hear her say she would see us again next year if we come back. I wish this great restaurant more years of success. We had the 3 course sunset menu. I enjoyed a very filling portion of chicken parm over linguini. I had a steak and cheese roll. Finished with the apple crisp. Photos for reference. Next time around the area... plan an early dinner and leave happy. It does get busy at rush times on busier days. Call ahead if you want to check first, friendly staff will be more than happy to answer any of your questions. My wife is GF and they hit a home run on catering to her. I would only recommend the restaurant consider offering a true GF pasta vs a rice noodle, which is more of an oriental noodle.

This location was recommended by family friends and after visiting it is easy to see why. The food was excellently prepared and came out quickly (though we did arrive close to the restaurant opening so that may have been a factor). Our drinks were fantastic as well. Would certainly recommend anyone to visit.

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. My friend wanted to go here because I have never been and she raved about this place so I agreed. A week before Christmas. The place was packed with Christmas parties and family gatherings. We were greeted by the host as we entered He appeared stressed out and way overwhelmed. Then, as we were seated, I waiter came, and he was not in a good mood, he was grouchy, rude, and extremely disrespectful. As an appetizer, we ordered the calamari you could tell the calamari was not fresh, but it was frozen , no flavor whatsoever so ever and it was chewy. We ordered calamari. We didn’t order calamari and breaded peppers.. then the waiter brings out dipping oil. We didn’t have any bread we had to wait at least 15 minutes for the bread. I got the salmon on top of Rissoto w/ asparagus.. it was the worse meal presentation I have ever seen. The risotto was mushy and way over cooked, my salmon dry and flakey and the asparagus, not even cooked. My friend got the haddock in some sauce and she liked it. I tried it, it was decent, but the haddock was floating in sauce. I sent back my meal and the dirty looks I was receiving from the host and waiter.? They did comp my meal, we paid and left immediately. I was really disappointed, I was so excited about coming here and the let down was just crushing! The customer service is a big fat zero, along with the food. The only nice thing I have nice to say about this place is that it was beautifully decorated for the holidays.

We have lived in Boston for the past 20 years and this has become our favorite Cape restaurant. The food is very good, the wait staff is great, and there is a nice variety of atmosphere options. Whomever does the holiday decorations should get an award as they are very talented and seriously im going there next year to take my Christmas card photo! The hostess has a great personality and is happy to take pictures and no doubt will be taking next years holiday photos. Great all around restaurant.

We had a great meal at the YH. We had martinis which were well made for the cape and almost had me feeling like we were in Boston. The French onion soup and clam chowder were nice appetizers. The entrees we had were the local sea scallops and the lobster stack. The scallops were a really nice portion and did not disappoint. The lobster stack was a perfect combo of surf and turf served over lobster risotto which was an excellent accompaniment. Would recommend this place if you’re on the cape and looking for a little more than fried seafood.

The food at the Yarmouth House was just average. The crostini in the French onion soup was so hard that you couldn’t even cut it with a knife. The fish fry was nothing to write home about. The stuffed haddock was not actually stuffed.A patty of stuffing was sitting on top of the fish. The apple crisp was not warm or crisp. Your server Seth was horrible. He never checked on your meal. He grumpy to us the entire time. He was friendly and nice to the tables around us but not us.

Captain Frosty's is a small seafood shack that is famous for lobster rolls and fried clams. The burgers here are also very popular, and they serve soft-serve ice cream as well. The locals highly recommend this place after a day at the beach, and it's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for some good fried fish and chips.
I've gone to Captain Frosty's for years as occasions arise. Frankly, the building doesn't impress, in fact it's easy to miss, but who cares because the seafood is why you stopped there. Consistently tasty seafood. This time I stopped for the fried clams. Due to supply in our world today they were small (you get more) and pricy, but worth it! They satisfied my clam craving. The people were nice and efficient. Best of all they are open past Labor day.

Captain Frosty's is a classic Cape Cod seafood shack that has been serving up delicious fried seafood and creamy soft-serve ice cream for over 45 years. The restaurant is located in Dennis, Massachusetts, and is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. The menu at Captain Frosty's is full of New England seafood favorites, including fried clams, lobster rolls, fish and chips, and clam cakes. The seafood is always fresh and the portions are generous. The fries are also crispy and delicious. In addition to seafood, Captain Frosty's also has a selection of burgers, hot dogs, and chicken sandwiches. There are also a few vegetarian options available. The atmosphere at Captain Frosty's is casual and relaxed. The restaurant is open year-round, but it seemed especially popular when we visited during the summer months. There is outdoor seating available and some of it is shaded, which is perfect for enjoying a meal on a warm day. The service at Captain Frosty's is friendly and efficient. The staff is always happy to help you choose the perfect meal and answer any questions you have. I know this, because after much consideration I chose Captain Frosty's for my first ever lobster roll. The staff member behind the counter was very helpful! Overall, Captain Frosty's is a great place to go for a delicious and affordable meal of fried seafood. The food is fresh, the portions are generous, and the pricing is great, especially for Cape Cod. I highly recommend.

One of my favorite places to get seafood on the cape! I came across this place by accident and I’ve been returning here ever since! I love the fried seafood here, but I always get the Grilled Scallop Bowl every time I stop by. It’s the perfect option if you didn’t want to eat something that was deep fried. There’s a ton of scallops and it’s a lot more filling than just fried seafood because it comes with rice and salad. I definitely recommend coming here even if it was just to give it a try. You can order ahead online if you don’t want to wait in the long lines

I’ve been here a few times and have had a perfect experience every time! My mom and I have a tradition that the beginning and the end of summer, we come here to split a clam belly plate. The portion is huge and even comes with two clam cakes! We got extra cakes because we love them so much. We both were stuffed from just splitting this. So it’s perfect to share or have by yourself for dinner. We love our tradition and already looking forward to our end of the summer plate ☺️

$18.95 for fish & chips was a bit dear considering you are close to where the fish were caught and you don't get much bang for your buck, tap water is offered for free, self serve, but the cups smelled like dead fish inside of the cups when you were drinking the water which was very good except for that smell, one other thing is when they serve you your meal, they should bring a few napkins as well since I saw a few people rushing to get themselves napkins after they got their meals including myself...the hamburger plate wasn't too bad which is what I got...

I will never go there for ice cream ever again 2 cups like this for 15 bucks they are flurries. I’d be better off going to Dairy Queen and getting a blizzard and getting my cup filled like it should be not weighed and ridiculous for the price I’m paying especially being a Dennis local ALL my life!!! Well they are on the menu… You order at the counter, go outside with your receipt and number and the crew will bring the food to you. Pet friendly, easy to reach, large parking lot, great view of the bay

What a wonderful place, I would recommend it to everyone! We have been coming here for years. Food is always fresh. Service is great. The location is amazing, near water. Please bring your own beverage and enjoy lobsters, fresh oysters, grilled fish and scallops (these are our favorite). But, please plan ahead as this place gets packed very quickly.

This cafe is right on the water and is a beautiful place to eat. Most of the food is either fried or raw. They have their own raw bar which I didn't try this time but I'm sure it's good. I has fish and chips which was amazing! The fish was so flaky and juicy and the chips which were french fries were some of the most crispest flavorful fries I've ever had. In order to get your food, you wait on line to order your meal and you receive a ticket with an order number on it. You sit down at one of the outdoor tables and someone come around and call out your order number until they find your table. When you see them, let them know where you are so they can deliver your meal to you.

Fantastic seafood! My family loves the lobster rolls, onion rings, and fried scallops. The lobster rolls have giant chunks of lobster! The outdoor tables overlook a small harbor. The restaurant is so popular, you’ll wait a while in line to order, and then for your food. Customers can bring their own drinks too.

We stopped by on a Saturday evening a little after 7 pm, and the line was wrapped around outside. We ordered right around 8. It is cash only with an ATM inside. We got our food around 830 and were able to find a table to sit at outside. It is dark to eat outside, not external lights, really. The food was 100% worth the wait. It was expensive but it was also some of the freshest lobster I've ever had! (And I have eaten a few). I love that it is byob and they have corkscrews and cups of needed.

Lobster roll has the largest pieces of lobster I've ever seen! The clam chowder is great too. Be prepared to stand in line, have cash only, & clean off your own table. Views are beautiful!

The line is worth the wait. We both got lobster rolls with french fries and Cole slaw. It took about 20 minutes in line to order. Then you wait at the picnic table to have your food delivered in about 10 minutes. Friendly staff. Nice crowd. Nice marina and harbor view. Fun ambiance. Very pricey, bring lots of cash. No credit cards!!! Well worth it.

It's worth the wait. The line moves quickly but plan on waiting a good 40 minutes or so for your food at peak times. If you're fortunate enough to snag a table by the water, you won't mind waiting. And once your food arrives, it'll all be worthwhile.

Everybody said they it was the bet lobster roll so we needed to try it!! It was a great experience, the rolls are super tasty and with a lot of lobster. You can only pay with cash but there is an atm inside. Highly recommended!

As far as finding a place with some of the freshest and best prepared seafood on the cape along with a view that isn't easily beaten... This is the place. It can be a little confusing to a first timer, but believe me this place is really worth it. From parking, to ordering to receiving your order this place is a well oiled machine. They do amazing. If you get nervous about long lines, don't... Here, as long as you know what you want, it's all a great experience.. Fast parking in a small lot, accurate order taking by a friendly employee to the point when your server calls out your number you won't be waiting long. Huge servings with top ingredients prepared for you by experts makes this a must go in my opinion. It's mostly market price, but they do have a wide selection of meals. It's great for a couple or a whole extended family dinner. Please make sure you tip, these people are working their butts off in some pretty hot weather. Sorry I didn't grab any photos of my lunch, it arrived and I couldn't stop eating my fried clam roll with fries. Before I knew it... It was pretty much gone and I was full.

Fantastic seafood and portions. Best lobster I’ve had since moving to the US. It’s quite windy so for those with long hair, bring something to hold your hair back or it can get frustrating. Family friendly, pet friendly. Cash only, there is an ATM on site.

Always the best! Amazing cold lobster roll with plenty of lobster, crispy fries and tasty coleslaw. We love eating outdoors by the water with gorgeous harbor views. You cannot go wrong with a lobster roll from Sesuit. Go during the week for shorter lines.

Best lobster rolls ever! They're just perfect, the right amount of mayo, tonnes of lobster and a little celery! I ate mine too quick to take a photo! Byob and a great atmosphere, don't miss it!

Perhaps one of the best seafood spots you will ever find on the Cape! We visited Sesuit Harbor Cafe while on the Cape for a weekend soccer tournament and this place did not disappoint. Though the parking lot sparked a bit of fear that lines would be long, the line moved rather quickly as we made our way to the counter. The only downside of the restaurant is that it is cash only and though there is an ATM right next to the counter complete with a less than friendly service charge in this day in age it would be nice to grab a digital POS and save customers the hassle. We ordered lobster rolls which, hands down, were some of the finest that we've ever had. Absolutely stuffed with fresh lobster meat, the lobster roll was a fork and knife short of sandwich and did not disappoint. The kids opted for the fish and chips which featured perfectly battered, flaky white fish and delicious fries. While waiting for the main course, we did opt to grab some oysters and shrimp cocktail from the raw bar where a nice variety of raw bar items were offered. The oysters were fresh as can be and the shrimp cocktail were plump and enjoyed by all. The restaurant is situated right on an inlet and is a great spot to sit outside and enjoy a great meal. Plenty of diners took advantage of the BYOB nature of the spot and enjoyed the quality food, waterside dining and nice weather the day we were there. All around, a great spot that is certainly worth checking out!

Get there early! BYOB and BYOS(unglasses)! Chicken fingers are awesome and lobster portions are large! Beautiful views, yet on sticky picnic tables. Fellow patrons are always friendly and kind-the place just brings smiles to everyone's faces!
