Lighthouses
A 51-foot octagonal building built to replace the original lighthouse ruined by an 1815 hurricane.
Loved this one. Went to lighthouse first for a closer look and parked in park nearby. Park gives nice view of lighthouse as well as roaring ocean. It was super windy. Then we went to fisherman's memorial. From there you get different angle view of lighthouse. Also you can walk on shore to go closer to lighthouse and get few clicks. There is fishing area near this one and also sand beach. Very nice spot for picnic, sunset and romantic getaway.

It's a nice looking lighthouse and you can get near it, but it's behind trail chain linked fencing as it's on Coast Guard grounds. There is a park from which you can get a better vantage point but there is a rather confusing sign. It's possibly a members only park, but it also said something to the effect of 'if you want to continue to use this park, don't leave litter or trash'. I figured I was only going to try for a picture, so no harm no foul.
Beth Nedley — Google review
The lighthouse commands an impressive view of the wide curve rounding the point. Unfortunately, it is within the restricted Homeland Security area operated by the Coast Guard. One can explore paths that lead over rocky ways west onto the beach. There is also a private park atop the steep cliffs to the east of the lighthouse which is open to the public- thank you to the owners, whoever they are! There are lawns and benches from which you can watch daredevil surfers descend the slopes and ride waves into the rocky beach below. Worth the trip!

Beautiful place so worth the trip. It does get a little packed at sunset so if you plan to see the sunset arrive at least one hour early but besides that it’s such a nice place to walk, photograph, sit with a loved one and talk. Also parking is free. Just a beautiful and stunning landscape.
Walter Arroyo — Google review
This is the southernmost tip of the Rhode island in the Narragansett town. We could not go close to the light house as it is a private fenced property of the US Coast Guards. The area is very peaceful with not a lot of traffic and crowd. There is a nice garden and a view point where you can see the Narragansett Town Beach. There are benches so people can sit with a stunning view of the ocean and have a good time here. Also, there a lot of free parking spots there. Would definitely recommend to visit this place on your trip to Rhode Island.

Have been here twice, and both times were fantastic experiences. First pic is a cell phone pic, first light, from about 75' away. You can get near... but not in of course... by walking along the shoreline from the access park which is public. Second pic was from yesterday and it's violent and beautiful settings. If you're looking to go in the lighthouse, it may not be your cup of tea. But if you want adventure, amazing scenery, and perfect sunrise? The park right before is your place. Explore and enjoy.

Beautiful place to go walk around. Great scenery near the ocean and lots of history surrounding Pt. Judith Lighthouse and its' year s in operation. Wonderful photo ops, with all kinds of weather overhead. I've been coming here since I was a child, it never loses its' charm and beauty.
Theresa St. John — Google review
Lighthouse is located inside the coastguard property, you could view from outside the fence. The ocean waves are beautiful and strong in windy days, and it's fun to watch people surfing. Parking is free, but in warm and nice days, it could be crowded.
GZ — Google review
They should really do some upkeep to this lighthouse and let people in to see it, but NOOOO... HOMELAND SECURITY has an 8 foot fence around it. Views around it are nice, though.
Andrew Hutton — Google review
The Point Judith Lighthouse is a picturesque coastal gem that offers both history and stunning views. Its iconic white tower stands proudly against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean, creating a postcard-worthy scene. The surrounding area is perfect for a leisurely stroll, and the lighthouse itself provides a glimpse into maritime heritage. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a photography lover, or simply seeking a serene escape, the Point Judith Lighthouse is a must-visit destination that captures the essence of Rhode Island's coastal charm.
Levani S — Google review
If you are interested in coast guard. This is one of the few manned light houses. Come right before sunset as they take the flag in. 5 star for the Guard. The privately owned park is open to waking. Park in a dirt parking area below park and before the coast guard gate. The park is not maintained. It is mowed. Nice views of sound, west to Galilee, and north to Narraganset. Benches along edge to view water. Dirt parking area holds 20 cars. It is free. No bathrooms.
Dan Pinton — Google review
Amazing views. Remember the lighthouse is on homeland security property so you can't physically go within the gates to see it close but you can get near it. It's well worth it there is a fishing area next to it (on your right heading towards it and left as you exit) which you can view and plenty of parking
Chris Patrick — Google review
Cute little lighthouse. As mentioned not accessible in Gates due to coast guard monitoring. Nice private owned park beside it for great views. Public allowed, just be courteous. Nice place to take pictures and see the sites.
Tricia Mckinley — Google review
The lighthouse is one of my favorite places to go both at night and during the day. Admiring it from Camp Cronin. Going there at night is the best especially on clear nights! I've been going here since I was a little kid!
Renee Dupras — Google review
Just a really pretty spot! And a place to get on the beach and watch the boats. Quite a few people fishing. Come enough in there that there were even people fishing in kayaks!
D Shaw Sawyer — Google review
The lighthouse is inside coastguard facility and hence NO access to public. The park nearby is privately owned but free access to public with free parking. No restrooms.
Sathish Jayapal — Google review
Wonderful place to visit. Look forward to every chance I can get there. It's so peaceful and serene and reminds you of the beauty of Rhode Island. We are lucky to have this in our backyard. This is one of those places we are allowed to remember what's important and why life is so valuable and amazing. Can't wait to get back!

A beautiful beach! Soft sand, wide beach area. Family friendly! You will have to park and walk a bit, unless you happen to be a Narragansett resident. Restrooms and a snack bar are added bonuses. If you're visiting, the entry fee is $20 pp...but it's free after 5:00 pm.
Ed Bonetti — Google review
So beautiful and so many shells!! Only disappointing thing is that sign says dogs must be leashed. People stood right at the sign and took of the leash and let their dogs run. Some cleaned up after their pets and many didn’t. A shame a beautiful beach will be ruined because people don’t follow directions.
Lisa Rogers — Google review
This is my 4th favorite beach in Rhody (very beautiful beach and love the end river part), 7th favorite location. I normally go after 5 (free to public then). If you go before 5pm, or super early,, you need to pay a parking fee and a entrance fee (if non Narragansett resident). Love walking around or using my scooter. Been wanting to canoe down the narrow river unto the beach. Note: can get pretty packed Note 2: there are tons of PVD fest/activities that happen here Note 3: The castle is such a cool picture spot Note 4: there is a small shopping mall nearby

I visit this beach every day. It is a great beach for taking sunrise and moon rise photos. I enjoy boogie boarding there in the summer. A very heavily visited beach by locals and visitors alike.

Peacful and chilly but very popular lots of.people surfing beach walking and family. Everyone was smiling and very happy. Beautiful scenery for sure definitely check it out. Lots of parking
Tabitha Ketchum — Google review
Beautiful beach at night time/ sunset, clear water. However I do know there is a charge per person and charge for parking. We went on a free beach day so it worked out! One of the cleanest beaches I have ever been to up north! Barely any seaweed too!
Bekah Hall — Google review
This beach was beautiful! Very clean beach. Pretty big parking lot and a super short walk from the parking lot to the beach.
Daisy Loane — Google review
Lovely beach. Plenty of parking (of course this was March). A bit rocky in spots but great spot for fresh air and a stroll.
J Conderino — Google review
It's a nice small beach. However, there is a fee of $12 a person before a certain time to go for the day. I don't think it's worth it. Is very small if you are beach person. If you live in the area I mean that's all that's available however, the beach is clean. There's not a lot of restrooms or bathrooms there so if you have to do of that you have to walk. Aways parking is horrible. It will park aways away to go to the beach. But if you live in the area that's all that they have so you could go with what you have. I guess it's not something I would recommend taking a vacation to if you're out of towner. If you like to play on the surfboard or have surfing classes, this is a good place to go cuz the waves do come in pretty good place to go all day.
Mr. Branham — Google review
Beautiful beach for walks and dog walking/running/frisbee Not many dogs on our walk today, usually see lots of them. They put a smile on my face. My friends and I took a little time to create a shell tree at the end of our walk.
Dennise D — Google review
Really clean and beautiful beach. For non residents it's 12 dollars a person for admission, and you have to pay for parking. Parking is 10 dollars. They have a concession stand which is reasonably-priced and if you forgot your sun screen, they have a free dispenser. The waves are higher, but it's a fun time.
Tiffany Rose — Google review
Tbh I felt this was an expensive outing that wasn’t particularly worth it. I am happy to contribute to the upkeep of the beach but the admission price is $12 each with the addition of $15 parking if you are not a resident. The parking for non residents is also over the road and so a but I’d a walk if you have beach chairs / kids etc There is quite a lot of free street parking along the sea wall and surrounding streets but it is time limited. Fine though if you’re not staying all day.

Beautiful location. Clean beach. Parking can be a bit tricky - busy area. I got here quite in the morning and there was hardly anyone here. I just took a quick morning walk here while passing through.

Parking is an issue unless you arrive at 730am. It is worth it. You have everything you need. Many food options and a Tiki bar on the beach. The waves are not big and you get to watch the boats and ferry coming in and out.

The best beach in the point Judith area. Long clean sandy sandbar, decent waves for boogie boarding. Very little seaweed and no floating garbage like next door at Roger Wheeler.

Beautiful beach with soft, clean sand with almost no rocks. Water is clean, and clear with no sea weed. The bathrooms are not all that clean but its a beach so its kind of understandable (wet muddy sand) but the over flowing trash (women's sanitary napkins) was gross. There are two outdoor shower areas.. One near the women's bathroom.. And one near the mans.. Not all the showers work. There are plenty of benches to sit on and you can picnic on the grassy area if you like. Parking for the day is only 14$ not too bad. They have a food stand but the food is very pricey.. 6$ for a coffee.. 8$ for a hamburger... 6$ for fries.. Pack a lunch if your not trying to pay all that money. They also have a little shop that sells beach toys, towels.. And tee shirts and sweat shirts.. This shop is also pricey 30-40$ just for the clothes. Over all a beautiful beach ...we will go again.

Amazing and beautiful beach. We had a lot of fun, the beach was clean and kid friendly. The good thing was the beach was near to our resort. This was a state beach and is one of the free beach at narraganset, rhode island. Yes there is a parking fee over here but its same everywhere in narraganset. Carry your tent with you just go to beach deploy it and enjoy. Carry sand toys for kids, they gonna have fun there. At times the currents are strong so if you are not a good swimmer avoid going into water. Thats it! Pack your bags go there and have fun. Ciao!

It's very nice but there are 0 seashells! Only rocks and the main thing I took off stars for is the fact that there are no restrooms in this huge place. Except for porta potties, and how are we supposed to wash our hands when we want to eat?and none of the water shower head things worked so I went gome covered in sand...this video is to show how far I walked looking for a normal restroom which turned out to be locked!
Ashley — Google review
Nice sand, clean beach. A couple food and drink options like Del's. See some ruins and enjoy the water
Jackie Elmaazawi — Google review
Able to handle large crowds. Loved the long boardwalk...it is actually a cement veranda...that runs along the back of the beach. Although no stores except for the snack bar and the t-shirt shop, the veranda is great. If you have differently abled people or just hate the sand, you can enjoy ample space for sitting and reading, or watching the waves. There are also several large, covered pavillions with park-bench style seating along the veranda. This beach is popular because it is flat and wide, and the surf is usually gentle.

Left home at 4:30AM to get here for sunrise one morning. Ended up taking some beautiful pictures, and talking with a few people that go there every morning. It was the best feeling to just be able to sit in the sand, listen to the birds and the waves, and truly take in the beauty. One of the best mornings i’ve had, will definitely be making this trip again!

Tmobile service isn’t good near #8 lifeguard seat Hot spot day trip picnic water warmer than around providence town bigger waves just have to deal with traffic getting here!! Not much shade bring your own, setup on grass!! After 5-6 no showers or life guards, so leave if want to shower before riding out? Bathrooms was nasty looking broken sinks, overflowing urine stalls! Over all better beach than Nantasket warmer water bigger waves!!! Get there early for parking!!! Update outside bathroom areas need cameras cause this past weekend daughter was approached by a male who was trying to get her to go with him asking are you alone how old are you? Same day as a man with sword walking down this beach!!! Water was warm waves was nice sun was hot!!! Besides this place is nice

My dream wedding come true! What a unique, picturesque, magical venue this was. The views from upstairs in the towers are outstanding. Cocktail hour in the courtyard was also great - we were worried about being close to the road with cars and people going by but to be honest we were so involved with our food, music, and guests that we didn't even notice it! There was also a summer concert going on in the green across the road but it didn't interfere at all, besides making parking for our valet a bit trickier. A couple things to note about the Towers - 1. It is kind of a DIY venue - you rent the venue itself for the night along with tables and chairs, and that's about it. Everything else you must outsource - catering, decor, coordinator, etc. The Towers does have some staff helping out with clean up at night. Donna was very helpful and organized in planning and knows every vendor in the area. All of our local vendors were familiar with the Towers too so planning and coordinating really wasn't bad. 2. There is no AC. We lucked out with a cool, not too humid summer night, so with the windows open and ceiling fans going we were just fine. 3. There is no private parking. We hired a valet service (highly recommend), told guests staying at Aqua Blue hotel to park there and walk over, otherwise guests have to try to find street parking which can be difficult on a summer evening. 4. The space may look tight, but it fit our 100 person wedding with bar, DJ, photo booth, champagne wall, and coffee/dessert vendors just fine! The dance floor is a great size, and the outside deck really extends the venue as well. If you really want to WOW your guests - book the Towers for your wedding, there really is no place like it!!! Thank you to Donna & everyone at the Towers for a perfect wedding reception!

Stopped by The Towers for a view of the water. It was closed, but they apparently do live music here. Busy place, too. Glad I came. Free parking around, too, so it is an easy place to access. I don’t know much about the history but hope to learn more. Check it out when in Narragansett.

Rode motorcycles down, 7 of us. Had made reservations yet due to directions error we we’re an hour late. THE STAFF STILL HAD OUR TABLE HELD!!! Corner window table, unbelievable view! Our server Jeanelle was great! Prompt pleasant and courteous. The food was hands down DELICIOUS! Reasonably priced. Atmosphere and Location AMAZING! Will be going again, this place is Gorgeous and staff was overly accommodating.

My Husband brought me here to celebrate my birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier night. From the moment we walked in, the staff made sure to take thoughtful care of us. Our server Dina was amazing. Not only does she really know the bountiful offerings both bar and kitchen, but she was able to help us pick drinks and food that blew us away. Her professional yet warm and friendly energy truly added to our dining experience. I also have to add that everyone from the host, hostess, and service attendant who made sure we never ran out of water, made the evening unforgettable. The lovely manager also gave us a little tour of the incredible igloos. Delectable food, warm atmosphere, incredible staff and views that will take your breath away, could ask for more!

The Coast Guard House is one of my all time favorite restaurants, and arguably the restaurant with the prettiest views! The food is fancy and delicious, the staff members are always helpful and the owner has even come over a few times to ask us how we were enjoying everything. Even the gentleman who works in the parking lot is super friendly and courteous. (Very much!) I think my favorite spot to eat is upstairs in the anchor room, it’s very spacious and airy and it’s great to watch the sun start to set over the water. If you love seafood, this is a must try. The one star reviews are mainly people complaining how the restaurant is too busy, but busy is good, busy means it’s full of people enjoying a good meal and good time with their friends and family. Do you want to be one of those people having a good time? Then check out the Coast Guard House!

Love the vibe here and the bar area inside paired with the views of the ocean. We ordered 2 dessert cocktails and they were so good. Loved the Raspberry Truffle Martini, $13. And the Jameson Express was great as well, $12. It’s like an espresso martini, but the vodka was replaced by whiskey and it still worked really well. Friendly staff who provided service as efficiently as they could during a busy time.

Very good dinner and atmosphere. We were in the anchor room. Only issue we had was when we booked for anchor room online the restaurant had us booked for outside instead. When we told them this wasn’t on us they refused to take the responsibility of messing up our reservation for 4… everything worked out though and we did get a table in the room we booked. Just call the restaurant instead of booking online. Food is very pricey, but good. Nothing that really stood out honestly. Was a good fine dining experience overall. Street parking or valet only.

Spain of Narragansett is a vibrant Spanish restaurant that has been serving up a fusion of Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine since 1987. Located just four miles from Narragansett Beach, it offers an extensive cocktail and wine list to complement its flavorful dishes. The menu features a variety of seafood options, including paella marinara and deep sea scallops in champagne cider sauce, as well as nightly specials that are popular among locals.
Our server Nicholas was superb. The food was as Amazing as the 1st time. Calamari & stuffed mushrooms to start. A bottle of our favorite Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio. Salmon for my hubby and the seafood Stuffed Veal special for me. Rounded off by a fantastic birthday key lime pie. 👌🏻

This was the first time my husband and I have eaten here at Spain of Narragansett. Our meal from beginning to end, was excellent! Our waiter Sam was very attentive and courteous. After he took our drink orders, let us know what the specials were for the night. He described each one in detail. When our drinks were delivered, I didn't care for my drink, so I asked for a new, different one. He took the order, no problem. For our appetizer, we had the calamari. It was delicious! I ordered the North Atlantic salmon and my husband had the stuffed veal chop special. For whatever reason, our meal took an inordinate amount of time to come out. Sam apologized for the delay, but we didn't mind. We're on vacation & in no rush. Ours dinners came out shortly thereafter and they were perfect! My salmon was cooked spot on & my husband's veal was "freaking phenomenal!" We ended our meal with the dessert specials; Kahlua cheesecake & the creme brulee. Both were divine! Sam was an amazing waiter. We would definitely come back here again! It was a great start to our vacation!

Visited in late December for my 45th birthday celebration. Warmly greeted and promptly seated. Our delightful waitress, Abby, elevated the entire experience. The culinary journey was extraordinary—starting with the red sangria and beef Wellington. The dish was a symphony of flavors, combining savory, crunchy textures, and a melt-in-your-mouth perfection that set a new standard for beef Wellington. Opted for the chicken francaise, and my partner enjoyed the stuffed sole—both generous portions perfect for sharing. Impeccably cooked chicken, and the vegetable medley was a delightful complement. Everything was enchanting; we’ll certainly return for more culinary magic!

It was okay but not the Spain restaurant we remember from 2 years ago,are there new owners? A very nice gentleman waited on us but he was very busy waiting on other tables. Some of the other diners looked like they came right from the beach. It was our 45th wedding anniversary and we were looking for a 5 star restaurant. We gave them a generous 4 stars. It's just not the Spain restaurant it use to be.

Spain came highly recommended by close family and we had to try it out for our little getaway to Narragansett. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, the tables were spaced out just enough so you didn’t feel on top of other patrons, the music, drink and food was all delightful. The clams and shrimp & saffron rice paella were decadent and perfect for sharing between 2 individuals. We will absolutely be back!
Amanda Walke — Google review
They were busy, but the service was still excellent. Two of us split the paella for two, which was really terrific: including everything you would expect of a complex paella. It is also a bargain priced for two. It would probably feed three. My wife had linguini and clams which has recently become one of her favorites. She throughly enjoyed that, with plenty of clams.

My husband got the swordfish dinner that I tasted, it was the most delicious swordfish ever and a good size! We had to wait for the bill and then to pay because the bartender who was very busy was our waItress. She hardly got a chance to breathe.

My husband and I tried to go here for a rare date night out and spent a lot of money to be disappointed. We wanted to love it but unfortunately the atmosphere was extremely loud due to a large party with numerous kids literally running around our table. This also led to sub par service as our waiter was also taking care of them. We were basically just left so that they could be given their dessert course and our waiter knew it. He attempted to apologize when he finally came back over to give us the bill but by that time there was no salvaging what ended up being a very expensive evening out that I wish I could take back.

Very nice restaurant in Narragansett with niceties like water flowing down tiles. The food was great, especially the New York Sirloin. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This place absolutely is all the talk of the town for a reason 10 out of 10. Oh, and the music the playlist was fire totally my generation music it was so good

Dinner with family. The chicken Parmigiana is somewhere in my top 3. My wife loved the lobster. Desserts were great. Service flawless. Drinks tasted just right and not weak. A bit loud inside. A great night out.

Food and service was top notch, would recommend to anyone in the area. We've always gotten the paella, and love this tasty dish. The staff was attentive even with the busy crowd that was eating tonight. You will be satisfied and have another meal remaining for another day with the portion sizes provided.

One of the best restaurants in South County. The food and service are always phenomenal. Their seafood dishes provide excellent combinations of fresh seafood, and the portions are so large that you almost always have enough for an awesome lunch the next day. The patio in the summer is very relaxing, so I highly recommend requesting a table outside when you call to make a reservation. Upstairs seating also has a wonderful view of sunsets.

We had a wonderful time. The Ossobuco is to die for. The eggplant Rolatinis were spectacular. Our server was very attentive and wonderful. Top level cuisine is being served here.

Went to Trio for our anniversary dinner. It was absolutely wonderful. Missed taking a pic of the mushroom bruschetta because we devoured it way too fast. The drinks were good, the pork shank was amazing, salmon was really good, creme Brule was perfect. I'm falling asleep very happy and very full. Complementary champagne for our anniversary... thanks so much!

It was our first time here. We stopped in for lunch. Our waitress Marissa was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. We started with the French onion soup, it had to be one of the best I’ve had. Not too salty. The onions, bread and cheese melted together into a satisfying spoon full. Just what I needed on a rainy day. The shaved steak sandwich with au jus was packed with the most tender thin slices of steak. Dipped in the au jus, melts in your mouth. The burger with bacon and bacon jam was tasty too. Just the right size and their fries were good too! I highly recommend this place! In fact, it’s a rainy day here in Rhode Island we are going back there for dinner!!! We came back for dinner but still full from lunch. We stuck with appetizers. They did not disappoint. Their crab cakes were moist and flavorful. We ate two orders! Our waiter Cole was spectacular!! Ask for his section. Their dessert are house made. We tried the cheesecake cake special. OUR OF THIS WORLD!!! Hats off to their pastry chef!!!

Top notch service from our waiter. Very engaging and attentive. The clam chowder was good. The fig and prosciutto pizza was good, big flavor profile - could use a little less fig jam or more goat cheese as some pieces were a little too sweet. The chicken pesto pizza had big bold savory flavor and was a great compliment to the other pizza.

Great atmosphere. Limited menu. Better quality than quantity however. Although winter, the outside patio area is very large with no covering. Looking forward to that. Parking looks like it will be a problem in the summer. Friendly staff, great host. My meal was absolutely phenomenal. I got the pork and mashed potato dish. Meat feel off of the bone and I know I tasted apple sauce but didn't see it. I think it was mixed in with the mashed. Highly recommend. Great place to take your out of town friends and family. Oh yea, I almost forgot. The ocean is 1 block away. Literally

Went on a Monday night, was pretty busy - we had a reservation for the deck - it was the perfect temp. Started with drinks and the cheese board. I had the fish & chips, another person had the bolognese, a burger and a fish dinner rounded out the meal. We were able to chat - with soft music in the background. Service was excellent- slightly slow to get started but then was fine. Definitely would eat here again.

Our server Aidan was absolutely excellent and went above and beyond tonight. If the review was based on him alone, the review would be a 5+. He was extremely attentive and let us know ahead of time that there might be a delay in the orders. We didn't get any bread with our waters. He fired our order at the same time because of the backup in the kitchen. He came over to our table 3 times and every time he apologized for the delay. The last time he told us it was an hour and 1 minute and asked if the manager, Jordan had come over to our table yet. He had not. Minutes later Jordan surfaced with our food. We were only caring about our 9 year old getting something to eat, not us. We were going to use our rewards for part of tonight's meal, but opted not to use them. My wife is a reward member with the Newport Restaurant Group which owns Trio Kitchen + Bar. We gladly offered to pay for what we had already eaten(apps, and beverages). Thank you for comping the 3 entrees which were great. The entrees we the Elizabeth scallops, Margherita Pizza and Linguine with clams. In the end it seemed like all of the tables on the patio (which is where we sat) was and their meals were put on the back burner, while (again it seemed like) the food was coming out in record time in the main dining room. Thank God for the Wick Stixx that not only kept our daughter busy, but us too. Also it was my first time at Trio and for Father's Day too. I was assured the food and ambience were second to none. Also they should've put patio heaters on early as it's quite chilly on the patio.

We took the family here for a long 4th of July weekend. Very large establishment. Should make reservations in summer months. Our food was “ok”, no one in our party was impressed…that was a wee bit disappointing. When we return next time, I most likely will still give this restaurant another try.

The staff at TRIO was awesome! I can't say enough great things about them. The customer service was top notch! I'm not a big fan of seafood, but wanted to try it from a place on the east coast. They were more than supportive! I highly recommend this restaurant. 👌

Great lunch. French onion soup was best we've had for a while. Not too salty, just the right amount of bread and cheese. Burger cooked perfectly, steak sandwich was delicious. Our server was friendly, efficient. The manager was very informative about the future of Trio.

I went there last night there were 2 people at the bar that were already served and another person and myself I ordered a beer she didn't offer me a glass I had to ask for a glass 5 minutes later. She was very nice though she was having a great conversation with the other bartender while I was waiting for my bread. I asked for meatballs and bread and she went in the kitchen twice and never came out with bread until the meatballs came. The Meatballs were salty and the tomato sauce was thick. I went there a year ago and we left hungry because they gave us such a small Portions when I complain then she offered to buy us 2 free dinners and I declined I was so disgusted a year ago. I figured I would give it a try again well I don't know who's managing the place but they need to Open their eyes.

Georges is a sprawling seafood restaurant with Block Island Sound views. It has a long history in Rhode Island, and specializes in sustainable seafood. The menu largely boat-to-plate, offers sushi, clam-cakes, fried oysters, among other items.
Absolutely love and recommend George's of Galilee. The last time I was there I overheard someone say "I'm treating myself, I'm at George's" and that could not be more true. Year round it's a great place to enjoy a delicious meal. Options for all, a lot of seating, and in the summer they offer beach service. They do have parking in addition to conveniently being located next to public parking. Enjoy a great meal and watch the Block Island ferry sail by- you will not be disappointed. pictured: hurricane calamari and b & brie sandwich

Whether your lounged at the Salty Brine beach , coming off the Block Island Ferry, or just in the area , you should make your way here for a great experience. Come as you are , and enjoy live music , outside seating on both floors , and beautiful views from every angle of the restaurant. You will get a great sunset view from the open windows , on the 2nd floor bar. You almost feel like your on the ferry when it goes by, because it’s that close. It’s pretty busy , so be prepared to wait a little while , but the food is worth it . The staff and bar tenders are great , drinks are strong , and the atmosphere on a summer night , is unmatched. The Food was great, and always is when we make the trip, and It never disappoints . So slap on your sandals , dry off and get your sandy bottoms to George’s .

It's a good destination. Crazy popular. The parking situation was insane - all parking lots nearby were full. The only option left was to park on Escape road, which is 8-10 min walk (could be a nice stroll depending on the weather). The venue itself is great, nice ambiance, plenty of options to sit inside or outside. There was even live music on the 2nd floor. However the food was a letdown. I had clam cakes which didn't have much clam pieces, just dough. And "stuffed quahogs", which again didn't have any meat just bread and spices. My wife had a seafood trio... The stuffed shrimp? You got the idea. The stuffed flounder - even worse, because the fish tasted old. A few pieces of scallops - the last part of the trio were delicious though. The beer selection was good, and that saved the moment.

Always love to be in Gansett. Good views and delicious food!!! Took my parents out to dinner for a nice evening by the beautiful ocean. The hostesses weren’t that welcoming and the wait was almost unreasonable but we decided to stay regardless knowing how good the food is. After finally getting to a table, we could relax & sightsee a bit! Unfortunately our waiter was nowhere to be found. And when he did come tend to us, it’s like he didn’t have time to stop and cater to us. Would recommend.

We went on a Saturday for lobster and steak and It was amazing. The food was great, our waitress was friendly and helpful and the views were absolutely wonderful. While we were placing our order we all stopped to watch a harbor seal looking around and swimming right out in front of us. Take some time to enjoy some great food and recharge with the views of the ocean at George's!

This place was recommended to me while visiting from Texas for work in Providence. I'm so glad it was recommended. The food was absolutely amazing. The lobster bisque might be the best I've ever had. It certainly had the best nose, like butter heaven, of any I've had before. The lobster roll (cold) was great. Though I think I prefer hot with butter. I seriously can't wait to go back for work mainly so I can go back and eat here! The draft menu was pretty good too with a few local options. The cocktail was menu also pretty good. The views on the beach were spectacular. Sunset was amazing. Don't miss out on going here!

Incredible food, service, drinks, and right on the sandy beach. Couldn't ask for more. The calamari is exceptional: 2 types both with rings and baby squid. The ingredients are remarkable. Best scallops and lobster I've ever had in my life. The place is 10 seconds walk from the beach and a ton of other fun places.

Searched Hi and Low for a traditional RI lobster roll. If your not familiar with the difference, every NE state has their version and they are all quite different. Rhode Island presents the prized cold water lobster with little fan fare bc it shines all by itself. 3 ingredients: Fresh Lobster meat, soft buttery roll and BUTTER! No mayo. No greens. Just the star of the show. George’s does right by the marine crustaceans. Served w/ homemade chips, seasoned to perfection. Libations were on point. Service was exceptional for our group of 6. The scenery surrounding Narragansett’s Salty brine beach town is breathtaking. Outdoor seating lends a coastal vibe that elevates the already magical atmosphere. Look no further for your authentic Lobster rolls!

Lobster bisque was very good! A bit different than I’ve had before. I believe it had rosemary in it, but the taste was excellent! I had a lobster roll for dinner which was excellent as well. There’s a nice view of the water when sitting upstairs.

The food was good but not like amazing. Pretty expensive for the food quantity I’d say. But if you go to a fancy seafood restaurant this is expectable. The staffs were great!
Jasmine Joy — Google review
It’s walking distance from our house so we go pretty regularly. Definitely try for a spot on the 2nd floor bar area to get the best view of the boats - they also play live music here in the evenings, so it does get a little loud. This restaurant is enormous but it still fills up quick in the summer. Yes the takeout counter outside is identical food to what’s served in the restaurant. The sushi seems random on a menu of thoroughly American fare, but you are on a fishing pier so it’s very fresh. Obviously seafood, specifically lobster and clams and scallops that are brought in at the pier, are some of the best options. They’ve got great clam cakes. Point Judith calamari is caught right off this coast but 80% of Rhode Island squid is actually shipped to China to be processed - not sure where George’s gets their calamari (and for the record it’s still very good) but it’s likely not as fresh as some of their other items. The cocktails are also really good. I always get the spicy margarita!
Slex — Google review
The food was good, but the portions are on the small side for the price. The clam cakes are really nothing more than flavored hush puppies. My wife's steak was way overcooked. I spent $285 for my wife and I this night. We waited about half an hour to get an outside seat for the views, that was nice for the evening. We enjoyed watching the boats. The service was slow, but they were busy. The waitress dropped dirty silverware on me twice, at different times. Dropped food on me another... I'd suggest slowing your pace when grabbing plates. Parking SUCKS!! It's busy in this very small area. Coming early or late is best. Avoid peak times if time is on your side.

My mom and I always come here once a year on our annual trip to Rhode Island. This is one of her favorite places! I don’t like sea food so I stuck with the fried chicken sandwich and also had the bar make me my drink of choice! Everything was delicious!! Our waiter was extremely nice. He was a man with a gray beard and glasses and a thick New England accent. He was so kind and wonderful

This was my first time visiting Narragansett and I went here to try the chick pea bao buns as I'm a vegetarian and have never had them before. Unfortunately they were all out. They did have my favorite appetizer though, buffalo cauliflower, which was good. There wasn't much else on the menu I could have, so I decided on the beet salad. This salad fell short of other beet salads I've ordered. The best part of the dish was the roasted cauliflower. I know they aren't a spot known for vegetarian entrees, however, it would have been nice to have more selections to choose from since I really liked the outside seating and the restaurant itself. My boyfriend enjoyed his Lazy lobster though.

If you're looking for a waterfront dining experience with fresh seafood, look no further than Matunuk Oyster Bar. The restaurant overlooks Potter Pond and sources its oysters from local farmers, ensuring that everything on the menu is of the highest quality. You can also enjoy farm-to-table items such as vegetables and herbs from their own organic vegetable farm.
What an absolutely lovely place! I was looking for someplace special to have birthday dinner with a very close friend. The Matunuck Oyster Bar definitely fulfilled that and made it extra special. From the variety of locally sourced oysters (some even from their own on-site farm), the water views from inside the main dining area or outside, knowledgeable and friendly waitstaff, and the birthday dessert surprise. You cannot go wrong here in any way. They even valet your car! I knew absolutely nothing about this fine establishment prior to patronizing them. I have been telling everyone about my fabulous experience and encourage them to make a visit there as well. If you love oysters, as I do, this will be your spot.

First time here. Everything was fantastic ❤️ The drink was refreshing and tasty; just the right amount of bourbon. The fried oysters were crunchy on the outside and meaty on the inside, and the bread was soft and airy. The oysters trio was the perfect sampler 👌

Went here once during the summer but was turned away due to not having a reservation - now I know why! We came here in the winter for lunch time and it was perfect. We ordered the clam chowder, passion fruit oysters, lobster pizza, lobster roll and chicken ciabatta sandwich. We ate every last bite. The lobster pizza was our favorite thing. Good selection of beer recommended by our server Thad, who was awesome. Can’t wait to come back when it’s warm out.

Wow, how have I missed this place. Never been here before and oh was it worth it. Our wonderful server Olivia guides us to the best menu choices for our liking. The clam chowder was phenomenal. The clams casino was great. You have to try the best and goat cheese salad. Get it as a side instead of fries or other side. My wife loved the lobster roll. You know sometimes they can be two buttery or too much mayo? Not here. I had the fish and chips with side salad instead. The fish was crispy light and low grease. I would highly recommend reservations and a visit to this place.

We love this place, stopped in for lunch on my wife's birthday last week. Had some starters, the oyster trio, and some additional oysters and cherry stones from the raw bar, all fantastic. For entrees my wife had the seared scallops and I was super jealous! They were cooked perfectly, and the dish overall went very well together. Non traditional, but amazing for sure. She paired it with a nice Chardonnay, which was just right. I had the fried scallops with truffle fries and again cooked perfectly, nice delicate batter, and sweet flavor. Paired with my pour of Pappy it went perfectly! Our server was also nice enough to sneak out a breakfast dessert for my wife, it was a brownie Sunday, and she absolutely loved it...as did I😁

Yes. Yes and Yes ! This place is the bomb ! The oysters are as FRESH as can be ! The lobster rolls are AMAZING ! Their seafood stew is really good and paired super well with the rest of my food ! Ok, just two drawbacks - the drinks were good but could have been a little better in my opinion and their clam chowder was good but not what I expected. I'm from Boston so New England Clam Chowder - I'll have to be really picky about. We visited twice while I was in town for just a couple days. Even with the 2 setbacks - this place still gets 5 stars ! Oh- lets top it off- the desserts are fire fire ! MUST VISIT ! Don't miss out. Enjoy !

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Best and amazing service from valets, hostess, to our wonderful waiter Jim. All the stars in the skies ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Handicapped VERY FRIENDLY. Accommodated our every need. Treating my elderly father and Girlfriend like he was a KING and Queen as did they treat my sister and I. Delicious RI Clear Broth chowder, Swordfish, asparagus and carrots, FishnChips, Fried Oysters fresh house salad and Lobster roll with beets and goat cheese salad. No photos of dessert so delicious it disappeared quickly.. Chocolate Bread pudding with ice cream. And Key Lime Frozen Pop dipped in White Chocolate.... Fresh flowers were beautiful and the views were beautiful. We sat in a table downstairs in a smaller room with 6 tables.... Quite and still had beautiful views. $50 per person I thought very reasonable for all that we had... and topnotch service..All the stars in the skies for this group. Plus couple beers, cocktail and Port. Valet backed up the vehicle right to the door to help a 93 year old man and girlfriend get in more easily to the car. Very accommodating and greatly appreciated.

Were you even in Rhode Island if you didn't got o Matunuck? Make a reservation at least several weeks out, this place fills up fast. They're finally renovating the indoor bar to connect it to the outdoor tent, will probably be done in time for summer 2023. Potter pond oysters are excellent this year, smooth and creamy finish. Cocktails are the unsung hero at this place. Ngl I'm a bigger fan of the swordfish and the scallops then the lobster, but that's just my hot take. They have the best clams casino in the state.

This restaurant is a must visit when in South Kingstown. We went on the oyster tour which shows where the restaurant grows their own oysters. Wow! We were insanely impressed with the the taste and quality of the food here. The service and ambiance is exceptional. There is also valet service which is nice. I will make it my mission to come here any time I’m visiting Rhode Island. 10/10 hands down!

I've been coming here for years because it is one of the best restaurants in the area for fine dining. Consistently good food with a menu that rightfully highlights seafood- especially their oysters! Plenty of options for those that don't like seafood. For those that do like seafood, you won't be disappointed. Over the years I've not had a bad meal here. Reservations are a must at peak times especially in the summer and they often book well in advance. This last experience was still good overall, but one entree came out hotter than the sun while the other was clearly not as warm and likely had been sitting for a while as the other was being prepared. Both were edible and delicious. The roof top tables offer a great view and are quieter than other areas- just be aware that there is no shade up top.

Best sit down seafood in RI (and New England?). Fresh oysters from local waters right next to the restaurant. All other food is locally/mindfully sourced. The owner is a great person, RI native too. The key lime dessert pop is the stuff of summer dreams. Make a reservation because it's popular.

The calamari, poke bowl, salmon, linguine and clams were all amazing! The food is so delicious. Valet parking only but they don't charge for it, valet guys are tips based. Seating at the tables near the windows in the fall get chilly but they do have heaters at each table. Highly recommended, even the kiddos loved the food here!

Hands down our favorite restaurant in the state. I have tried every appetizer on the menu and love them all but have always ordered a lobster roll for my entree. The lobster roll is very generously filled with fresh chunks of lobster that is delicately tossed in a light mayo. The grilled hot dog roll takes it to the next level and I always pair it with French fries that are freshly fried. I’ve dined twice with children (a toddler and infant) and have been sat at a quiet room inside that was half bench and half table which was perfect for my toddler and allowed plenty of space to park the stroller next to it. The ramps in and out of the restaurant were easy to use although a bit tight it is handicap accessible. The upstairs dining area on the other hand is not handicapped accessible to my knowledge.
