A great place to eat, Black Sheep offers creative international dishes and desserts in a relaxed setting. The food is delicious and the owners are friendly and welcoming. They have a small but cozy atmosphere which makes it a great place to celebrate any special occasion.
This is our absolute favorite restaurant! The quality of the food and service cannot be beat! Matt's dishes are like a hug on a plate and always truly unique! And Krista has an amazing talent of pairing just the right wine! Can't wait to see you guys again really soon!!

Incredible. What an experience! Definitely a must-do at least once. But if you go once, you'll want to go again. I'm not a very adventurous eater and I can't say I would have ordered anything on the menu on my own. But after eating everything, it was all spectacular. Matt has a way of combining flavors and elements of different cultures, styles, and genres that is remarkable and delicious in every way. He walks you through each item and explains why he chose certain items and flavors and how he recommends eating the dish. Some info: This is a very small restaurant and reservations are required. However, it is very worth it! We will definitely be back and we cannot wait!

“Hidden” gem in Beaufort. Chef takes the time to make every dish beyond expectations. The raw beef is the best tartare I’ve had and the spicy gnocchi should be illegal it’s so addictive. Who knew chocolate and olive oil were a match made in heaven.

Words can’t describe how delicious the food is at Blacksheep. Matt and Krista provide an unforgettable dining experience. The menu changes regularly and each course is unique, fresh and flavorful. I usually try not to eat a single bite of food when I know I’m going to Blacksheep for dinner. You don’t want to be full, because every mouthful is just awe inspiring! Really can’t believe we have such an unbelievable restaurant in Beaufort. We’re very, very lucky!

My husband and I had dinner here last evening. WOW! We enjoyed every moment. Matt and Krista were an amazing duo! We savored every bite of everything that was on the menu. All of the flavors came together and it was an culinary delight! Matt is an amazing gifted Chef. Krista was kind and explained all of the ingredients that was incorporated together in each dish that was prepared. We were not rushed and it was well worth every effort to finally get a reservation. Matt we appreciate you taking time to stop by the table to say hello and check on our experience. We appreciate you both and your hard work in creating such a pleasant atmosphere, so different from our "typical" dining experiences. We will definitely try and come back again! Thank you!

A big city meal in a great southern town! Tough to get in here but worth the wait! This is far more than a restaurant, its the food fusion and vision Chef Matt presents to you in his 6 option, 3 course dinner he serves Wed thru Sat. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the combinations and presentations of food he alone prepares. Everything was just delicious! As suggested my wife and I had different courses on each of the three options. I loved the combination of flavors that were Matts vision of what he wants to serve. This is food tasting at its best! Two desert option topped the night and their wine parings for each course and their wine selection were as great as the food! The floor of 18 seats was well managed by Krista. Servings were presented by Matt and Krista and each ingredient was explained by both of them. Dinner here is a lesson in food and flavors!! Some advice…It’s hard to get in here but worth the effort. Be on your computer (not phone) at exactly 8am on the 1st Tuesday of the month to book the next month. Have CC, email, phone number and go for it! Be on time as my experience is most tables are taken by 8:10 am. At 77 I’m proud of myself as the room was full of young foodies!! Enjoy!

An amazing dining experience! Each dish was prepared with such creativity and care. I had the suggested wine pairing for each course. Between my husband and me, we tasted every single dish on the menu, and I can't wait to do that again.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely stellar. The vibe was great - unpretentious yet stylish. Overall unreal situation they have going on here; I’d love to come once a month to try out new menus.

Fantastic food in a great setting with great service. We ordered everything on the menu(7 items) and they were all really delicious. The octopus was so tender, not rubbery at all. One of the best meals I have enjoyed anywhere near here. Matt is very friendly and he and our server explained the dishes very well.

Wow. All around top notch. First things first, as a wheelchair user there is a single step at the door that you will have to clear. I mentioned my wheelchair in my reservation notes and the chef and the sommelier aptly helped me in. An intimate air, I will be reminiscing this evening for years. The sounds of the kitchen, the light on the entrance, the ebb & flow of the patrons, the smells of unique wines and the close proximity of it all makes for a seriously fantastic experience. One of the most immersive dinners. The chef explained every dish he brought out and I'm getting excited just writing this. Cannot wait to go back!!!

Ah, Blacksheep—the elusive gem that keeps you on your toes. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience that demands dedication and a bit of luck to secure a spot. Getting a reservation feels like winning the culinary lottery, and once you step through the doors, you understand why. The ambiance is a perfect blend of exclusivity and warmth. The low hum of conversation, the soft glow of ambient lighting—it's an intimate setting that sets the stage for what's to come. The staff, though impeccably professional, manages to make you feel like an honored guest rather than just another diner. Now, let's talk about the food. Prepare your taste buds for a journey that defies expectations. The menu, a carefully curated symphony of flavors, showcases the culinary prowess of the chefs. Each dish is a masterpiece, a testament to the artistry that happens behind the kitchen doors. From the first bite to the last, you're taken on a gastronomic adventure that lingers on the palate long after you've left. Blacksheep's commitment to sourcing top-notch ingredients is evident in every dish. The fusion of textures and the marriage of flavors are nothing short of extraordinary. The waitstaff is knowledgeable, attentive, and possesses an uncanny ability to anticipate your needs. You're not just dining; you're being guided through a culinary masterpiece by a team that takes pride in their craft. Sure, getting a reservation might be a challenge, but that only adds to the allure of Blacksheep. It's not just a meal; it's an event, a celebration of the culinary arts. Barbecue restaurant
Q on Bay is a barbecue restaurant with Southern charm, serving up some of the best barbecue around. The menu features items such as pulled pork, brisket, ribs and smoked chicken, all of which are delicious and smoky. Q on Bay is open for lunch and dinner and is a great place to enjoy some good barbecue in Downtown Beaufort.
Sat on the patio overlooking the water! Chicken wings were smoked then fried. Excellent. Pork taco’s were delicious and plenty of pork! Flounder sandwich was the best we’ve had yet! Bloody Mary’s were good. Staff is an excellent job! Definitely recommend this place!
Gail Wallace — Google review
We were very underwhelmed by our first visit to Q on Bay. We ordered cheese fries to start, a brisket sandwich with baked beans and the pulled pork platter with mac and cheese and coleslaw. The cheese fries were very disappointing: fries were soggy and the cheese was just melted on top (not a cheese sauce) so it would fall off any time you tried to grab a fry. Brisket sandwich had good flavor (au jus was great) but there were only two slices of meat on the whole sandwich. Baked beans were very good. The pulled pork platter was lacking. Pulled pork was dry, mac and cheese was bland and the noodles were overdone. The coleslaw was bland. The main redeeming quality of this place is their very large tap list, we were not disappointed by their beer selection. We would return here for drinks but not for the food.
Madeline Murray — Google review
I had an excellent experience today at Q on the Bay … The staff was friendly and engaging, the quality and selections of drafts were outstanding, and the food was amazing… Additionally, the pricing was fair and not what you would expect when dining in Downtown Beaufort. I would highly recommend their pulled pork sandwich with hand cut fries!
Mike Masters — Google review
Great service. GREAT COBBLER! Drinks were strong! Cheese fries were just okay. A little soggy but i like the old fashioned kind of French fry style still. Outdoor patio is the best place to sit for the view alone
Laura Weston-Pruneda — Google review
A short walk from the the marina and you run into the historic down town Beaufort, restaurants and shops line both side of the street. As we progressed down the street we smelled the aroma of Q on Bay before we had even gotten in front window. Amazing food and service. The smell of pulled pork is everywhere. You can dine inside or outside. I recommend trying the pulled pork tacos. Very affordable. We ate there for lunch. Come as you are. Can't wait to go back.
Tai Sanders — Google review
Everything about this place speaks BBQ to me. I love the smell of smoked meats while walking through downtown. I really enjoyed the smoked wings, pork ribs, collards, and hand cut French fries.
Jay K — Google review
Great place on the waterfront with live music. Had the Barnyard, loved the selection of BBQ sauces. Ribs, meat was tender and fell of the bone. Both chicken and pork tender and juicy. The brisket had great flavor but wasn't as tender as the rest, the taste made up for it. We had the Chared Brisket tips, a awesome appetizer, that alone will have us coming back when we are in town.
Dean Steindl — Google review
Everyone in our party of 6 really enjoyed what they ordered and each menu item showed signs of being handcrafted. The fries and macaroni & cheese sides were exceptional. They let us mix and match sliders. The greens in the salad were fresh and delicious. Some really nice craft beers made for a fun flight. Even the kids menu chicken nuggets were hand cut and hand breaded.
Peter V — Google review
The servers were attentive but the service was glacial. I had the Q burger and it was dry and almost tasteless. The fries where limp but well seasoned. They had no mustard but only a mustard based BBQ sauce. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich that had a relatively small amount of pork on it - hey we're in the south a pulled pork sandwich should have more pork than bun! The folks we were at the table with had ribs and wings. The ribs were good, and the wings were spicy, though a bit dry. I will probably not be back. The view was nice but in the nearly two hours we were sitting their, it only goes so far. We ate on the porch or we wouldn't have even had that.
Charlie Bess — Google review
Very cool atmosphere! Indoor and outdoor seating. Vast beer selection on tap. We had drinks, appetizer and 4 meals under $55. Server Justine was super friendly. Seems like with everyone else staffing seems to be issue… staff was doing a lot of multitasking but kept up with tables for the most part. I ordered the Q ban sandwich, it was served with some vinegar which got spilt all over the tray.. bottom of sandwich was saturated.. ok if you like vinegar 😬 the fries are hand-cut looking but had been staged (cold/stale) The carbonated drinks were off 🤷‍♂️ our server warned us about that… suggest recalibrating system? (Coke does that free of charge) Anyhow with everything mentioned the facilities were super clean, staff was super friendly and hardworking. We encountered owner/manager??leaving and he thanked us for our business. Definitely will be back but request vinegar/sauces on separate tray 🙃😅❤️✌️

Visiting and had to try the pulled pork sandwich with the mustard sauce, it didn’t disappoint!! Sat at the bar because I couldn’t sit outside do to an event. Over all I liked the atmosphere and the big selection of beers on tap.
A Lerma — Google review
I was a bit disappointed with the plate I got. The ribs were burnt and dry. There’s a difference between dry old bbq and dry-rubbed bbq. The smoked wings were decent though. The Mac n cheese had a smoky flavor but barely any cheese. The collards were tasty. To spend over $20+ for my plate, I just expected more.
Gwendolyn Thompson — Google review
I come here every time I’m in Beaufort and bring whoever I can here. Came for a trip with my son and we had the burnt ends. So good and come out in a cute cast iron dish. Pulled pork and Mac was good, as always. It was rainy and cold so we sat inside, but I’ve sat outside in the warmer months and love the atmosphere and view.

BEST CHEESE FRIES I'VE EVER HAD, I got cheese fries as an appetizer, huge portion I was full from it, we stopped for lunch before our long drive home my friend tried some and agreed they are the cheese fries we've ever had, we were talking about it on the drive back to PA lol I ordered brisket burnt ends to go , delicious 😋 Mac and cheese egg rolls were a hit with the kiddos 😅 my friend had the shrimp and grits I tried some and it was amazing, also loved the art on the walls ☺️

The foooood!!!😳😋🤤 Everything I had was amazing! From the service, to the food, to the atmosphere it was such a great experience for my family after my nephew graduated from the Marine boot camp! Thank you for making this time special and memorable for us! 😁

Updated: I decided to visit again, and the server, a Marien gentleman, was very nice and took care of what we needed. Food was still incredibly dry. I added pictures this time around. ______________ The good: the staff was amazing and tentative! We had a group of about 20, and she was on her A game. Great selection of beer as well. The Bad: The food is very inconsistent from plate to plate. The pulled pork, chicken, and the brisket were all dry and bland. Great for group drinks; food is not so much recommended!

Seafood restaurant
Fishcamp is a seafood restaurant with a patio and swings that overlooks the shrimp fishing port. The restaurant is casual and has great views of boats and shrimp fishing ports, making it a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Menu highlights include shellfish towers, Lowcountry boil, and roasted flounder.
Loved loved loved this restaurant! Have a beer on the patio while waiting to be seated. (Better to make a reservation). Everything we ordered was delicious. The friend calamari and pickles were good, but the star of the show were definitely the entrees. The seafood risotto was amazing and the seared Maine scallops and risotto were to die for!! Indoor or outdoor seating. Very nice view of the sunset over the sound. Highly recommend.
K M — Google review
We put our names on a list to eat inside but the first come first serve outdoor seating policy worked for us! Oyster appetizer was awesome! Service was great even for a holiday weekend! Fish tacos and very fresh fried shrimp were yummy! The poke bowl was Outstanding, tuna and rice was hard to beat! If you are coming for a boot camp graduation take your new Marine here!

Selected this spot after chatting up basically every local I ran into. It was worth it. Place was packed but was able to get seated inside at the bar right away. The CRAB punch was a fine drink and the coconut rum and coke I had after was great. The Parmesan crusted grouper paired with asparagus and risotto was phenomenal. Small portion size for the sides unfortunately but everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly with great presentation. Was able to catch the sunset out on the deck and admire very unique building. Out of 4 meals in Beaufort this was the best.

Good spot, friendly and happy place. Good food. We had the fish tacos which were tasty and flavourful. Service was good and they happily accommodated our request to move to outdoor covered and heated patio. Loved the ambience and the airy feel to the place. Staff were amazing. Highly recommended!

Nice atmosphere. Food was good. We went early around 3 before it got too busy. They have indoor, outdoor, and a screened in outdoor area. Service was quick and good. Food came out in a timely manner. We had the Calamari & Pickles for an app, which was OK. Also the James River Oysters on the half shell. I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich which was very good. My husband had the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl which he enjoyed. No beer on tap, only cans. The dinner menu and lunch menu's are very different. My husband had planned on getting a roasted fish but that happened to be on the dinner menu which doesn't start serving till 4. Over all we were pleased.

Came here for lunch. First time here. There was a small wait to be seated but it was worth it. The service was very good. Our waiter was polite and friendly. The drinks were good. The food was excellent. Our table had sandwiches and salads(which I forgot to take pictures of) overall will come back when I'm in the area again. Definitely recommend.

This place was the perfect choice! Chelsea our server was so friendly and helpful we couldn't have asked for better!!! Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. We ordered the camp basket. Everything was was fresh, but I was surprised by how good the fried oysters were. I typically don't really care for them as they can be a bit hit or miss, but these were great. The key lime pie was off the charts delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By far the best we've ever had!!

Came here from NYC to visit family and went to Fishcamp for dinner. Walked up to live music playing at the outside bar - was so good!! We were a party of 6 with a reservation and asked to move tables. Hostess team was super kind about it and moved us right away. Our waitress Maddie was incredibly accommodating and friendly. All the food was amazing - we couldn’t decide what to order but everyone was so happy with their meal. Love love!!
Breighanna Minnema — Google review
We drove from Augusta to eat here. The fried shrimp were okay. The jalapeno hushpuppies tasted burnt. They were out of sweet tea and had no ranch. I was not happy. The view was nice. Our waiter Melvin was good but I had to get up and ask for a refill, I kept seeing him on his phone. I feel like for the money it is definitely NOT worth it, it is way overpriced and they don't give you enough. I've bought better shrimp from the frozen section at the grocery store.
Nicole H — Google review
Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. One of the best seafood restaurants I have been to. The Parmesan crusted grouper with lemon sauce was out of this world. Also, the peach lemonade was absolutely spectacular. Everything we ordered was so good, but those two items were just amazing. Service was fantastic too. Great kids menu for the tots.
Zac R — Google review
Stopped into Fishcamp while visiting family. Great food options on the menu and prompt service. The risotto was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. A sizable piece of lobster on top to accompany the dish. Oysters were fresh. Salmon dish was cooked to my daughters liking. The chocolate peanut butter mousse was the most delightful thing we’ve ever had. We honestly talk about it every time we go somewhere else hoping for something equivalent to it. I wish they sold it in tubs, because we would stock up. Go for the atmosphere and chocolate peanut butter mousse!
Phon Macy — Google review
Love the atmosphere of the bar - it was more chill and laid back on a Thursday early evening and then a lot more lively on a Friday night. I appreciated that they had live music on Friday night. I especially enjoyed the fried calamari and pickles. The lobster bisque was also nice! It’s a fun spot to watch the sunset over the water.
Chelsie Tamms — Google review
I had dinner at this restaurant and the food was just OK. The service was good, but the food could have been better. Seafood pasta was overcooked, and so was rice that came with stuffed flounder, there was almost no dressing in Caesar salad. These are all things that can easily be improved, but with so many people coming to this restaurant, I doubt the changes will be made. Overall this wasn't a bad experience, but it could be better.
Slava Kramarov — Google review
Quaint little place overlooking the water. We started with the Hushpuppies and they were excellent. I had the Southern Fried Shrimp. Food was hot and tasted great.

An amazing dinner on the waterfront was just what we needed after a long drive to Beaufort. Arrived shortly after opening and was seated in the screened patio outside right away. Service was prompt and helpful with our questions on the menu. We had the crab cakes and grouper. Both meals were outstanding! Many places with a location like that might rely on the view but the food was even better than the tranquil waters.
Kevin Nelson — Google review
Views are great, and our server Michelle was very nice. Thats probably the only nice thing I can say about this restaurant. It was a busy dinner rush so we made reservations online about an hour ahead and were seated immediately upon arrival. We were seated outside as requested and the view was fantastic. However, about 1 minute in, there were thousands of gnats flying around all over our face and our drinks lol. Im not saying this is the restaurants fault though. Its probably unavoidable this time of year. Because it was a busy dinner time, they were out of almost everything that i actually wanted to try. So we had to just pick out a handful of random alternatives. Bloody mary was extremely salty and you can tell the garnishes have been sitting out for a while. Appetizers took about 20 minutes after ordering to come out, and the calamari was cold..and the hush puppies were burnt. Cocktail shrimp was just decent. After almost an hour, the main entrees came out. Very big disappointment. Seafood in the seafood pasta was not seasoned AT ALL. It was also lukewarm. Bucatini was overcooked, sauce was incredibly heavy, and overall very BLAND. The stuffed flounder was very underwhelming as well. Fish was overcooked HEAVILY and the stuffing was very mushy and greasy. It tasted like a freezer.. No one at the restaurant seemed apologetic at all. I really appreciate you guys messing up my anniversary dinner. :) thanks for that.
Sally Park — Google review
We went with another couple. There was a short wait, they are sometimes crowded, because they are very popular. We were seated at a lovely table with a water view. The server was extremely friendly and efficient, we wanted for nothing. Food was delivered hot and very tasty. This visit was exactly as we expected, excellent. It was fun and relaxing. I would definitely recommend a meal or even drinks at the bar to any of my family or friends.
Michael Peiffer — Google review
I have rated this establishment in the past. Some things have changed. The food was a lot better. The lobster was large but not much flavor. I had the cast your net it was very good a little short on seafood and heavyon fries. The other two dishes we tried were good as well. We had the 3 rosted oysters they were off the chain. The best thing I had tonight was the pineapple mohito all I can say is Wow. We spent over $230.00 for a party of four. So a little over priced. By about %12 to %18. We will be back for bar drinks and oysters. The service was great as well. This was priced for a once a year dinning experience. Nicely done guys.

We visited on a Saturday night. We didn't have reservations, but were seated in about thirty minutes at the outdoor patio, which was beautiful. Waitstaff was efficient and attentive. Drinks and dishes came out quickly. Still, we didn't feel rushed. Everyone loved their respective orders. Definitely a restaurant we'd like to visit again.

Had an amazing time at dockside. The best oysters, she crab soup, shrimp, and cornbread I've ever eaten. Servers were extremely nice and funny! If you are touring or coming down to see family, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and bar. Lacey took very good care of us tonight, even after having a hard table before us. I like to get takeout for dinner in the towns I visit and this place was outstanding. I had the seared ahi tuna appetizer, which was delicious and I loved all three sauces that came with it. The pan seared salmon and scallops was also very good… especially the cornbread that came with it. My favorite was the Raspberry White Chocolate Cheese Brûlée. Wow! I wanted to lick the container. Thank you so much!

We had a 93 year old with us and they eloquently seated us ahead of others out of respect, a classy move. The food was outstanding! I had the crab cakes and I think they must have a filler shortage here 🤣 Our server Megan was outstanding and in the days of customer service challenges that is commendable. I wish that I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you Dockside for a fantastic experience

In Beaufort for the weekend and many people recommended Dockside so we gave it a try. Arrived at 4PM when they opened to find a line waiting to be seated. The line moved quickly. We choose to sit in the bar to watch football. Dinner was great. I had the diamond cut flounder and my wife enjoyed the shrimp and grits. My flounder was very tasty. There's a reason the Dockside is popular.

Had a fantastic experience here. Waiter brought out an extra piece of corn bread for the dog, that was nice. The jalapeño shrimp was amazing, as was my seafood boil. As you can see, I only thought about reviewing after. No regrets. I'll be coming back!

While visiting the area from Georgia, my family and I searched for a seafood place to have dinner. Previous reviews helped select this location, and I would definitely agree! The food was delicious and very tasteful! My 9 year old had crab legs with shrimp low country boil which he demolished! The seafood pasta, which I had was amazing! My husband had the scallop piccata which he said had a nice spice flavor, and my 5 year old had fried shrimp and fries which he finished! Their cornbread was so soft and flavorful. For appetizers, we had hush puppies and buffalo shrimp 👌🏼. We loved all of it!!! I would also like to add that all the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. Thank you all for such a pleasant visit!

This restaurant was amazing. The parking lot looks full but when you go inside the restaurant has lots of tables inside and out and we were seated immediately. I loved the view it made eating that much more enjoyable and worth the drive. I would definitely go again. The food was so delicious and filling. The restaurant is very clean inside and out and the bathrooms were very clean as well. The entire staff was polite and organized and the flow was so smooth and as fast as we ordered they were bringing it out.. This place needs more than 5 stars..

5 star experience! Our Half moon Cobb salad and the egg salad plate were delicious. The portions were great. The terrace view was wonderful! Service was prompt and friendly. We parked in the paid lot at the start of the block.

I recommend Plum’s Restaurant in Beaufort, SC. The food is good quality at reasonable prices. The restaurant has dog-friendly seating in the patio area. The patio area is highly desirable on days of temperate weather. My wife requested the chicken salad plate but it had sold out by 1:00PM. She had the curried chicken salad which she said was excellent. I had the fried shrimp and an appetizer. It was good. The view from the patio was very nice.

Went for lunch, I had the shrimp and grits. Definitely somthing that I will remember. Was not expecting it to be so good. Great spot for lunch, outdoor seating provides a great view. Family friendly, so the atmosphere is really mellow. Only problem is that the service is really slow. Bur otherwise makes for a surprisingly nice lunch.

Good food, friendly service. We came during a lunch rush and had a wait (which we expected and were fine with). The hostess was pleasant and kept us updated on when we could expect to be seated. Our food came out in a reasonable about of time and was good. Vegetables on our sandwiches were fresh. The drink I ordered from the bar was also good. Overall appearance of restaurant could use some "freshening up". Floors looked a little dirty, paint visibly peeling on the ceiling, dust on ledges, etc. You can tell they are busy and perhaps this just isn't high on the priority list, but I do think it would enhance the dining experience.

Plums was recommended to us by our tour guide. Excellent food and service in a historic atmosphere. We are inside due to the cool air and wind but the outside looked like the place to be. Don’t miss the pork dumpling appetizer.

We attended their Sunday night dinner tonight; crawfish boil. This is a great event. It is tavern style and we met so many nice people. The food was better than outstanding. For a reasonable price we got all you can eat crawfish, red beans and rice, jambalaya, potatoes, corn, fried okra, and donut jokes with pudding. Great service! Can’t wait for next Sunday.

We made reservations for the Sunday Supper Club and it was excellent! Family style jambalaya, potatoes & corn, etouffee, red beans & rice, crawfish, and brown sugar beignets for dessert. Everything was delicious. Our server was fantastic, too. Such a nice time talking to our table mates!

Courtney ( our server ) was very nice. We were a group of 7 with a dog. It took an hour and a half to get us seated, but it was at rush hour. The food was delicious. I personally got a half-moon Cobb salad, which was delicious. The atmosphere was great,

Plums Restaurant, Downtown Beaufort, SC Warren’s Margarita took forever my food was delivered first. Thank god for the food server (didn’t catch her name she had short black hair)as she was able to get my margarita. The waitress Hailey was very friendly but not attentive at all. Service was not good it was the first I left a 10% tip. Tried to give the food server money but she wouldn’t accept. Fried Shrimp was not good and the batter tasted like bisquick no seasoning at all. The blackened shrimp was better still not seasoned up to par. The salad we requested the peach buttermilk balsamic we didn’t get that until the very end of our salad. Also never got the tartare sauce. The fried chicken in the Cobb salad was probably the best we had here. Overall I would say overpriced drinks, horrible service and mediocre food go to another restaurant. @plums.restaurant #beaufortsc #lowcountry #southcarolina #luvbft #lowcountrylife #sc #impossibletraveler #savannahgeorgia #savannahga #downtownbeaufort #usaroadtrip #visitusa #donjulio #tequila #downtownbeaufort #margarita #shrimp #lowcountry

I had the opportunity to dine at Plums in Beaufort, SC, recently, and let me tell you, it's a culinary gem. Kicking things off, I tried their flounder po-boy, which easily ranks among the top fish sandwiches I've tasted. Add in the perfectly cooked, generously portioned fries, and you're in for a serious treat. We also sampled the crispy pork wontons. Unlike your standard Asian fare, these were loaded with pulled pork BBQ, encased in a delicate pastry shell, and topped with a sweet smoked bacon jam. Served with a side of remoulade, the wontons were an unexpected delight, merging different flavors and textures into one delicious package. My wife, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed the curry chicken salad sandwich, a unique twist on a traditional favorite. The blend of curry flavors hit all the right notes, making it a standout choice. And the drinks? Absolutely top-tier. She savored a wonderfully balanced sangria, while I relished the day's special - a refreshing watermelon mule, just the ticket for a summer day. In short, if you're on the hunt for a place that offers fantastic food, stellar drinks, and a relaxed vibe, Plums is your go-to. It's a dining experience that hits the spot, leaving you eager for a return visit.

The atmosphere of the patio is very nice, as you are overlooking the riverwalk and water. The food and service were good. We enjoyed the Biarritz sandwich with potato salad, shrimp salad sandwich with chips, and the Lowcountry gumbo.

Quaint little restaurant that seemed very popular and busy, but service was quick and friendly. Our waitress, Keara, was very delightful and provided excellent service and recommendations. Shrimp salad sandwich with potato salad...Delicious! Homemade lemonade was wonderful with several generous refills. Definitely recommend 👌

Huge portion of shrimp & grits, and I got the 1/2 portion. Loved it. Great shrimp poboy. Very good port wontons.

Over all it was ok. We had the tuna salad sandwich, blue cheese crumble burger, and the shrimp po boy sandwich. The shrimp was so tough, the taste was good just over cooked i think. They are short staff in the kitchen we were told so maybe that was why. The waitress was nice and service was good. Food was out very fast!

Had a really lovely lunch. The salad was amazing. The peach buttermilk vinaigrette was amazing. My husband had the catfish po' boy special and it was very nicely prepared. Would highly recommend!
