It's a pricey Thai restaurant. But what do you expect on one of the most expensive Caribbean islands? Every appetizer is over €30, and they are just soup, dumplings, spring rolls, etc. We didn't order any appetizer. For main dishes, we had ground pork with Thai basil (and green beans but for whatever reason it's not listed in the description), which was pretty good. We also had fish in Massaman curry sauce. Even though our waitress mentioned it's a bit sweet, I was still surprised by how sweet it was. I asked our dishes to be cooked medium spicy, but she said she would bring hot sauces to the table, as if the kitchen couldn't cook according to customer's request. Three pieces of fish, each the size of a third of my palm, cost €36. Anyway, I've had much better Thai food at one-third the price. C'est la vie.

Without any doubt, one of the best restaurants in Saint Barth. Enjoyed both the cocktails and the cuisine. I opted for a late dinner this time, but next time I would definitely go for a late afternoon setup or an early dinner in order to enjoy to the sunset view. I highly recommend it.

The service was extremely extremely extremely bad the staff are extremely not helpful it feels like you’re begging them to order. They’re only helpful when and want to answer you when you ask for the check. Although the food is good and the view is nice. The receptionist was nice. Also we asked for a bigger table we were two and the table was very small they told us that they’re fully booked even when 1/2 of the restaurant was empty and after five or 10 minutes they let another walk in couple sit in the bigger tables. Okurrrr the food was so good that I totally spaced out to eat. The restaurant is beautiful with some amazing views. The service was on point and our waiter was on top of it get us the drinks and such. I would for sure go back to Bonito when I return to Saint Barth. Popular and busy Peruvian restaurant with the highest-class service imaginable. The cocktails are out of this world in terms of creativity. Extensive wine list and an eager-to-help sommelier. The menu is fish-focused. We started with a ceviche starter and shared the €170 rib eye for our main. If you’re in St Barth’s and want a memorable, luxury dining experience, Bonito is the place for you!

Delicious Peruvian French food from an incredible chef who's worked with the likes of Guy Savoy and Daniel Boloud. Great ceviche tasting tuna tacos risotto with white truffles, mahi mahi and ribeye cut of the day. Highly recommend. Only 1 star not available for service due to a mistake moving our reservation two hours despite it being made months in advance with no explanation. It was quickly rectified and our servers and sommelier were outstanding!

Absolutely beautiful open air space with stunning cocktails, and perfectly executed seafood with a Peruvian flair. This is definitely one of the most lively and gorgeous dining rooms in St Barth, and the style perfectly fits the island. The cocktail program is superb, delivering some of the best drinks I’ve had, and each has its own unique presentation. Service is very friendly and attentive. This could have easily been a 5 Star review had the hostess, Mary, not been so unyielding during our reservation process and seating when we arrived for dinner. We were a party of 4 in St. Barths to celebrate my husband's birthday and requested being seated on the patio. There were 4 tables available that remained available for the two hours we dined. There was no other party of 4 that came in during that time. Aside from that. The food was beyond fantastic, and the service was magical. The wait staff were very much at the top of their game, and the level of service saved the evening.

Before jetting off to St. Barth’s to celebrate our wedding anniversary, I meticulously researched places to visit, activities to enjoy, and top dining spots. Amidst the buzz and glowing testimonials, I’Isola emerged as a culinary gem, consistently topping dining lists. With anticipation, we chose it for our first dinner on the island after a weary day of travel, eager for a splendid meal and an exquisite dining experience. Upon entering, it was evident that the owners had invested considerable effort into every detail: the tasteful wall colors, strategic uplighting, elegant table linens, the thoughtful placement of the bar, and the carefully selected artwork adorning the walls. The menu boasted an extensive list of specials, an impressive wine selection, and the food was prepared flawlessly. The intent was clear: to create a sensory journey so complete, nothing was left to chance—except, regrettably, the service. It was disheartening that despite the meticulous attention to detail in the ambiance and cuisine, our experience was marred by disorganized service, lacking in communication and consistency. Our lead waiter, while knowledgeable and affable, was only tasked with taking our order. Another waiter delivered our food, and yet another cleared our plates. A simple request for more water was acknowledged but forgotten as the waiter vanished, never to return, preoccupied with another table where he seemed more engaged. After an exasperating 20-minute wait and having to physically stand to catch our waiter's attention, we requested water again, along with the check. It's apparent there's a lack of communication and teamwork among the waitstaff, which undermines the potential greatness of I’Isola. The owners have crafted a perfect facade, from the decor to the dishes, yet this is continuously compromised by service issues. Whether due to discord among the staff, the result is a tarnished experience. This restaurant has all the makings of greatness, but unless the team dynamics are addressed, it risks being perennially deemed merely "good."

This was hands down one of my favorite meals that we had while on the island (and we ate a lot of good food). All of the food was delicious! Super traditional, simple, but perfectly done Italian food. The dining room is traditional and charming and the service is top notch. Beef carpaccio, grilled octopus, lobster pasta, shrimp pasta, grilled sea bass, truffle mashed potatoes, and a perfectly cooked filet. *drool* I’m making myself hungry posting about this. If you want a nice dinner in St. Barths, this is definitely one of the places you should stop. Make sure to make a reservation.

I held fond memories of my prior meals at L'Isola. (Which admittedly date back 10ish years.) The setting continues to be moody/sexy and luxurious. However, the meal was a disappointment. Beef tartar and pasta were both soggy. Service was also rushed, which was frustrating. It was also quite expensive, even by St. Barth's standards.

Orega has not aged well. After having an incredible meal here in 2017, we were very excited to come back. Unfortunately the new direction Orega has taken has led it down the wrong path. I felt that calling this restaurant “Japanese” was a bit misleading since they really didn’t offer many common Japanese dishes. Of what we ordered, everything was lacking flavor and I believe they let their attempt at creativity get in the way of making delicious food. This meal left us feeling disappointed and overcharged. The staff was great from start to finish. Very attentive and welcoming, but the food was a let down. The Orega of 2017 was a must try, but I would recommend eating elsewhere in St. Barths

Disappointed with this meal. We had been in 2019 and loved it, but for whatever reason the food this time was bland and tasteless, and very over priced for the quality. The staff were excellent - friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. However, the execution in the kitchen is really lacking for a restaurant charging €50 for an appetiser. There’s a lot of great food in St Barth, I wouldn’t waste a meal here until they improve.

We lucked out that Greg opened the day we got to SBH. Restaurant was quiet since word probably hadn't got around yet that they re-opened. What a great experience all the way through. We had amazing service and Greg personally explained each dish and gave us tasting of some items we were more hesitant to try. An unassuming exterior cloaks the quaint, modern ambience of this Japanese-inspired gem. An extensive menu of cocktails, wine, and sake will somehow be the least arduous decision of your experience. The ever-changing food selections present a nearly impossible set of decisions because each are decadent, beautifully plated, and unlike anything you'll experience elsewhere on the island. My best advice is to dine with a large group and order everything on the menu and share. If this isn't an option, the attentive staff will help guide you along a path to culinary bliss. Orega is easily one of the best restaurants in the Caribbean, let alone in St. Barthélemy.

Fish Corner in Gustavia is a small dining establishment run by Johnny Laplace and Nicholas Lebon, who are the owners of a fishing boat. The entrance to the restaurant is on the left side from L'Oublie bar.
