Marshalls is a high-quality, international restaurant with stunning ocean views located in Basseterre. The cuisine here is authentically Caribbean, and the service is excellent.
Fine dining in a cool breezy atmosphere. Chef Marshall ensures all his guests are happy.

Verral Marshall is the best! And I mean it! We met him by chance and visited his restaurant "Marshall's - A New World Of Dining". The restaurant is fabulous in all aspects, from Marshall (the chef/owner) to the settings to the menus (and the food of course), the view and all the lovely people who were all there to make our dinner so enjoyable and memorable. Anyone visiting the island, this is the place to be! Go and try it for yourself. Marshall, we will be back and with a Guinness, of course!
Peng Hock Tan — Google review
The food was delicious! They had a separate menus for wine, cocktails, and dessert, so you know you'll always find something you will enjoy! The service was outstanding. There was a server for each "specialty" if you will. One person came just for cocktails, then another for your meals, and then others came around just to make sure everything was to your liking and to see if you needed refills or dessert. But don't get me wrong, it was never at the wrong moment, they knew exactly when to arrive and check on you. The seafood was excellent, and the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare 👌 I would definitely eat at this establishment again because not only was the food and service amazing, but the restaurant sits atop a hill and looks over the water with panoramic views of the ocean with open air windows.

This is the first time I visited Marshall's restaurant, what a phenomenal view. I enjoyed the dinner and amazing service from the staff. The chef Marshall greeted all his guess, this was a great take away for me and family, what an excellent customer service. I would definitely visit again. It was a lovely dinning experience, much love and respect to Mr Marshall and staff.

Best meal yet! Everything all around was fantastic! The lobster, the scallops and the Grouper! Unbelievable. But fancy and dressy so come prepared. And not cheap. But well worth it. COME HUNGRY!
Rodney Klein — Google review
Friendly staff and great food. Restaurant is in a middle of a neighborhood. Men can’t wear sleeveless shirts and if they do, the restaurant will lend you a staff polo shirt to wear.
Enee eightyeight — Google review
The service was excellent. Started with the conch appetizer, and the Surf n Turf was a delicious main course. And if you have an extra $240/oz US in your pocket, then you can have a drink of what Louis XIII liked. Spectacular dining in Frigate Bay.
Dustin Roberts — Google review
Book a reservation! Due to COVID the other good restaurants are closed so this place gets all the traffic. We sat at the bar and it was wonderful! Good chat with the bartender and great garlic breads ooohh. They have 4 page cocktail list. Try the banana chocolate spring roll.

Marshalls is my #1 favorite restaurant and dinning experience from Japan to the Netherlands! The food is amazing from the Conch fritters to Grilled Red Snapper or Chilean Sea Bass! Each bite has a multitude of flavors, texture and colors! The open air setting with a gentle breeze makes this a perfect location and the servers could not be better! It costs $50 usd/person but worth every bite! Rating = 5+ of 5!

I visited for a dinner with frens and had the crab cake for my appetizer and my friend had the meatball. We were both disappointed. I had the crab cake before and it was delicious so i was looking forward to it. This night, i was not impressed. The main course took about an hour to be served, which is unacceptable and the restaurant was very hot. The establishment was full but the wait and heat was ridiculous, however our server made it better. He constantly checked in on us and entertained us. When we eventually got our main course, IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Everyone at the table was satisfied and the food was superb.

All I can say is WOW! Just amazing start to finish. Staff was great and fun, food was outstanding, and the sunset view was incredible! We went twice during our vacation week. Definitely not cheap, but completely worth it for a special occasion. Highly recommend!
RJ Bushey — Google review
Drinks are delicious and fairly priced. Food portions are tiny for what you pay, however. For example, the current top photo on Google for Marshall's shows a trio of crab cakes on a single plate. Don't let that fool you. The price on the menu is for a single one. The coconut shrimp is three Regular-sized shrimp, as pictured. I'd honestly rather higher prices for decent portions, but maybe there's just a culture gap here that I'm not a fan of. Putting that aside, everything tasted phenomenal. I personally recommend the Italian coffee with Amaretto. Service was excellent, and I can say with confidence that this was the least neglected I've ever felt in a restaurant. Barely 5 minutes would go by without some member of staff coming to check on my table.

I had heard so many good reviews about Marshalls, so I decided to dine there and find out for myself. Located in a quiet residential spot up in the hills with an amazing view of the Caribbean Sea, set the scene for a fine dining experience. The warm and pleasant greeting on arrival and the attentiveness of the server and other staff members made one feel appreciated. The food was absolutely scrumptious, and I can only give high praise for the whole dining experience. It is definitely a place high up on my favourite places to dine when I am on the island. Another happy and satisfied diner to add to the many rave reviews made about Marshalls.

Excellent restaurant. The escargot was on point. I had the black and mahi. The service was excellent. The dessert at a banana chocolate dessert. I would definitely recommend this place

Wow!! What an incredible dinner. This is a must do dinner in St Kitts. The view is what got us here, the food is what will make this a stop every time we are in St Kitts! Portions are very reasonable and I loved they were a little smaller because then we got to try more things, including dessert. Started out with the grilled Marlin and Spinach ricotta ravioli, had the grilled shrimp and surf and turf for dinner (treat yo self with the surf and turf; worth every penny) and finished off the meal with Prosecco, cheesecake, and the chocolate lava cake! Our service was amazing as well. 10/10 recommend this place for a romantic or upscale dinner!
Rebecca Ramia — Google review

This was our last dinner in St Kitts. Sadly none of the locals suggested this restaurant but a couple we met at the hotel who are familiar with the island recommended going here and I'm glad they did. The food and service were both excellent (on par with what you'd expect from a high-end stateside restaurant but without the pretentiousness). It was the only restaurant we visited that was capable of serving a lobster tail and I thoroughly enjoyed the dessert menu and appreciated the french press coffee (best coffee I had the whole stay). The staff were all very friendly and attentive, the owner/chef stopped by to say hello, and the manager checked in a few times and chatted with us. The only word of caution is that it's located on a hilltop surrounded by nature and sometimes the nature finds its way inside but don't let that stop you from visiting. This place is a hidden gem that will be on our return visit list.

If you're in St Kitts, we highly recommend Marshalls. One of the most picturesque and romantic restaurants we've been to. Get there before sunset for some memorable photos. The food was excellent. The Chilean Sea Bass was delicious paired with seasoned rice.

Boozies is a great spot for enjoying the sunset over some delicious West Indian food. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the menu has a great variety of dishes to choose from. The food is excellent, and the cocktails are lively and colourful - perfect after a day basking in the sun. Definitely recommend!
TOP NOTCH! Excellent spot to enjoy the sunset over a scrumptious meal Excellent customer service The menu has a wide variety and the food is great!!!!!! I definitely recommend it! (PS: One would have to call to make dinner reservations)

Excellent food. Good portion sizes. Fair prices. Quick service. My wife had the BBQ pork ribs and I had the Cajun shrimp pasta. We shared coconut shrimp as an appetizer. High scores for all choices, with the pasta being a highlight for both of us for how rich and cheesy it was.
Matthew Amann — Google review
Food was good but service was exceptionally slow. Waitress forgot when we asked for anything. Took us 20 minutes to get the check. There was another waitress working that had short hair. She was much better
Simone King — Google review
What a fun unassuming atmosphere with some delicious food! Great recommendations from the bartender on local drinks. We first sat down at the bar because we didn’t have a reservation and the hostess moved us to a table because the seats we sat in made my hair blow too much and she sensed my discomfort! It’s the little things. We got the Boozy’s lobster and Curried conch - both absolutely delicious and huge - would order again! Food took a little while to come out, but all worth it.
Evelina Leece — Google review
Large portions. Friendly staffing, super attentive service. The lobster was amazing. We are still talking about how good the fish nuggets were.
Larayna Gilmor — Google review
It was okay, the bar didn't have any tequila when I went so wasn't able to get a margarita. Also was unable to order my main of choice (steak) portion sizes are very large so good value for money. Its right on the beach too which is nice
Grace Markham — Google review
Slow service (what do you expect from St. Kitts?) but good food and mostly good portions. The appetizers and a couple entrees are iffy on the sizing. Overall I like the food and the vibes of the restaurant. The mojitos are fantastic.
Susanna Mostaghim — Google review
First let me say our server (Kerry - I think) was outstanding, friendly, helpful and checked in on us often. Next let me say I don't think you could get better views at Sunset than Boozies and the inside decor is perfect. The food was beautifully plated and only surpassed by the flavor. We had shrimp quesadillas for an app followed by grilled lobster and grilled mahi-mahi for entrees. They were expertly prepared and among the best meals we had on St Kitts. That being said, we waited over an hour between the appetizer and the entrees. They were hot when they came out and Kerry did stop by several times apologizing for the delay. They were busy but having worked in restaurants there is no reason for an hour to pass between apps and entrees. The saving grace was the wonderful taste of everything. It's worth it but make sure you're not in a hurry
Mark Smith — Google review
Finally got back to Boozies and it’s better than ever. Great food, friendly service and beautiful location on The Strip. I like the view at Boozies because since it’s farther down the strip you can see the southeast peninsula much better and the fall palm trees give it the extra island ambience! Love the lemon butter lobster, ribs, Mahi Mahi and excellent portion sizes on mains, sides & apps! Highly recommend!

Upscale Beach bar with great food and a view of the sunset. We are seafood lovers and this location had a good selection with various preparation options. Visited more than once during our stay.
Joan M — Google review
The food was good, not outstanding. I don't think the steak was filet mignon based on the fat. The beers were slow coming to the table. The server could have maximized tip by being more attentive. Nice spot for a sunset dinner. I would recommend this restaurant as my experience may not have been the norm.
K Keppley — Google review
Great food and excellent view of the bay. Couldn't ask for a better location, right on the beach. Unfortunately we didn't have the best weather for our visit.
Jonathen Skyles — Google review
We ate at this amazing place 3 times during our 10 day stay. The food is really good. On a Monday it may take a little time to be served as many of the other shacks on the strip are closed but as they say on the island “ rush slowly “ just sit with a beer or two enjoy the view of the Caribbean.
Dave Murray — Google review
The ambience is great, food is exceptional, however be prepared to wait a bit for your orders to come out. Overall a 7/10.

Located in Frigate Bay, across from Silver Reef, Poinciana Restaurant opened its doors in 2016. Offering a delectable range of homemade international cuisine, they prioritize using fresh seasonal ingredients sourced locally. This highly regarded establishment has an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff that make you feel right at home. The culinary creations are not only served with precision timing but also presented beautifully, delighting both the eyes and taste buds.
Lovely garden, very attentive staff. The food was delicious. Beautiful murals on the walls, great ambiance.

Came here to celebrate a birthday. Reservations were made and we were accommodated accordingly. The interior design is definitely due for an upgrade. The tables are a bit close to each other. The service was kind of slow and personally it did not seem that busy. The food was amazing. We both finished our plates with no complaints. Definitely left wanting more. The prices were also affordable in comparison to many of the other restaurants on the island.

Had dinner there this Tuesday evening. It was absolutely fantastic. Would go back without a question. Both food and service was GREAT. I am a man of my word. The review above was written Tuesday evening after we had a fantastic dinner at Poinciana Restaurant and stated that we’d go back. Well, we did. We went back this Friday evening for another exquisite dinner. I ordered the mussels for an appetizer. I’ve never seen mussels prepared like this in any restaurant in the US. As a main course I ordered the lobster over the Bloody Mary sauce. Another spectacular dish. My wife loved her shrimp and squeezed down her second apple crumble for dessert twice this week. We had the good fortune of meeting the proud owner/chef on our way out. Such a hard working and sweet gal passionate about cooking and hosting guests into her restaurant. When you visit Saint Kitts, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not going there. Try it. You won’t regret it.

This restaurant is addictive. We visited two nights in a row. The staff Keema the bar tender and Tilsha our server was amazing. The food was affordable and very good.

The food was sooooo good! I would definitely suggest the lobster. The service was great as well.
Alex Jackson — Google review
Came here for dinner as it was a recommendation. Service was attentive and friendly. I ordered the mussels which I thought were good but I didn't realize how they would be served, I assumed in a broth which I prefer, but not the restaurant's fault. I enjoyed my filet. I enjoyed the Banana Crepes dessert best. I found the shrimp to very tasty. All in all, good food close to hotel. Make a reservation.
Greecian Koukla — Google review
Excellent food. We ordered pan fried catch of the day and lobster. The portion of lobster is very generous which is enough for two people. The taste of the food is exceptional. Highly recommended.

Food is always good here, i can never complain. The servers are always attentive, the atmosphere is always good. I had the coconut shrimp for my appetizer and it was lovely. I also had the rack of lamb as my main and i enjoyed this to the fullest...no complaints.
Kizzurn Grant — Google review
This was the only bad meal we had in St. Kitts over a week, and it was really terrible. The lobster was inedible, so tough/overcooked - it was like trying to eat a tire. We left it and the pasta unfortunately was not good either (and was not linguine, as the menu said). Also, we were told the lobster would be spicy and there was zero spice or flavour at all. To pay so much for lobster that is inedible is unacceptable. The salads were strange and overdressed. We didn't risk ordering dessert. The waitress was nice but the whole experience here was awful.
heather forbes — Google review
Always wanted to dine at this restaurant and I finally took some time and made reservations for me and my love. Our experience here was far better than I anticipated. The natural ambience and The warm welcome of the employees brought a feeling of home. The food was prepared and served in perfect timing and the presentation was as beautiful as the taste of each dish. My experience was amazing, so much so I didn’t want to leave. I Definitely recommend this Resturant to be added on your “to go list”.

This is the restaurant you want to visit. It is affordable and has great food. Good customer service as well. I have no complaints. They keep me coming back. It is family owned and the hospitality is always on point. They are also great for doing events and the buffet option never misses. Try the garlic lemon lobster with linguine, the poinciana salad and the creme brulee or baileys tiramisu. Everything is a hit but those are my faves there.

Royal Grille Steakhouse is located in the Marriott Resort and Casino on Basseterre St. Kitts. The restaurant serves American food including steak and seafood dishes. Wheelchair access is available, and there is a full bar serving alcoholic beverages. Reservations are accepted and table service is offered. Parking is available nearby.
Very nice service and food! After reading other reviews, I was concerned the steak might be a letdown, but that was not the case. We got the filet and the strip, and both were delicious! Our server was very kind and made sure we had everything we could want at dinner. We will be back!
Jessica Buell — Google review
Really awful service, food is so overcooked and dry with no sauce. Extremely overpriced. $6 for water. When I had an issue with my bill, nobody came for 10 minutes and I finally had to go up to get any service. They completely ignore and are rude when at your table. Tiny piece of meat on a huge plate. Horrible disappointment and experience. Really not tasty at all either
Chris Mancini — Google review
The service was good, but the meat cuts are not at the level of the cost. It's like paying premium for a all you can eat buffet quality stake. Maybe even lower quality. The sides portions are risible. They should pay more attention to the ingredients and less in the presentation. Don't ask the 20oz ribeye... it's not worthy of your time or money.
Eric Collazo — Google review
Came here wanting a steak after seeing good reviews but the food you get does not equate to the cost. As I walk in all I see is the kitchen giving me an atmospheric vibe of a diner. I sit down am greeted by kind hostesses. We ordered the rib eye, lobster, mashed potatoes and mushrooms for two. I asked for the steak medium, it did have some red to it but was very dry for a 90$ usd steak, don’t get me wrong I’ve had several hundred$ steaks but dry aged/ wagyu would make it worth it this seemed like a choice cut. The severer returned to ask us how the food was and explained the lobster was so over cooked it wouldn’t come out of the shell she said “cool” and we never heard from her again. Over all I would say the sides are way better then the steaks or any main they have to offer. Next time I’m in the mood for a good steak in st. Kitts, boozies is where I will go.

OVERALL: Fine restaurant. Given the price, the extremely long wait and quality of the food I will be looking elsewhere these upcoming days. Ambience and location -- Private and elegant. No real views (basement of Marriott). Clean. Polite staff. I waited 55 minutes for my grilled fish. Food -- Swordfish (tamarind sauce was novel and good, but fish could have been seared a little longer, I had to get a side, since the 30 dollar fish entree had none) Tomato market salad (10) was a disappointment (tomato was soggy, and very thinly cut). Price -- Very expensive, especially for what you are getting. I felt like there was an attempt at MIchelin style restaurant, (passion fruit caviar, coconut cream, etc), but quality and freshness fell way short of expectations -- especially for the price.
Miguel Teixeira — Google review
So I must admit, we went into this dinner not expecting much based on the reviews. It was actually a pleasant experience with pretty good food. We were a party of 6 and we were well tended to by our friend/ waitress ( Diana)… she was great and the staff there were also great and all super friendly….. was it the BESt steak I’ve had, no it was it pretty good and the food along side of it good yes. The entire family had no complaints as well… would go back and would recommend to others
mat greene — Google review
Outstanding little steakhouse inside the Marriott resort property. We had the filet and the strip, and both were great. The drinks and appetizers were also as good as any well-regarded steakhouse in the US. We will definitely be back.
Guillaume Buell — Google review
3 starts very generous here. Dinner at Fire was somewhat disappointing. Nice atmosphere and not busy. Server seemed a bit unhappy to be there, and disappeared several times despite the low occupancy. I chose to try the mango and rum drink (forgot the actual name) which was like drinking pureed fruit. A bit sweet for my taste. Again, once we had come to a decision, it took a bit to attract the server. Choices today were-DW picked a starter salad with pears, sprouts, romaine and feta which was pronounced as “tasty”. The basket of rolls provided may have been microwaved. My meal of grilled wahoo, plantain puree, and nicely prepared bok choy plus a fruit "pesto" was a nice combo of flavors. But the fish was a good bit overcooked. The added side of mushrooms was a star though - perfectly cooked and sautéed in a butter and wine sauce. Delicious. DW’s preferred choice of steak was priced at over $50! So she chose to create a meal of an add on portion of two jumbo prawns-which the staff was very kind to sell as a standalone. These were fresh and perfectly prepared. Her side of roasted carrots came tepid and after a reheating seemed mushy and overcooked – very mediocre. We expected much more at a signature restaurant at a high-end Marriot. We did not return and don’t recommend.
brian myers — Google review
Horrible service. Food took nearly 2 hours to be served. Most of people in our party’s food was served cold. My entree which was the Grouper was unseasoned. Asked for the bill because we had a set time for a taxi pick up, the server took nearly an hour after we requested the check to actually bring it to use. We had a party of 8 and everyone was highly disappointed. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone nor would I dine here again even if I am a guest at the Marriott.
C. Jenkins — Google review
This is basically a low end restaurant pretending to be five star and falling flat. Prices are way too high, especially for what you get. For example, we ordered a side of asparagus for about $8 and got five pieces of flavorless, steamed, chewy asparagus. The steak was very tasty but nothing special. Everyone at the table loved the mushroom soup, so if you go there I recommend trying that. Overall, the price did not match the quality.

Rock Lobster is a popular seafood restaurant located in Frigate Bay, just down from the Marriott. They offer a variety of dishes including lobster tails, chowder, steaks and local cuisine. The staff are friendly and helpful, making it an excellent choice for any occasion.
We enjoyed the weekend special so much. Corn and conch chowder for starters, then 2 lobster tail halves, potatoes, rice, salad, coleslaw, and a complimentary rum punch! Highly recommend...make a reservation so you can sit outside under the stars! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Thanks for an excellent dining experience!

Located right next to the hotels, highly recommend and within walking distance if you prefer. The portions were plentiful! Variety of Caribbean featured cocktails and wine or champagne to choose from. Place was packed, I'd recommend making a reservation to be guaranteed a table. Indoor/ outdoor concept for dining with plenty of fresh air. I thought the mussels were delicious, the Cobb Salad was loaded with bacon and avocado and my Shrimp dinner was tasty and filling. Service was great with such a personable waiter taking care of our table. The Stuffed Mushroom was one giant one with Bleu Cheese and Fig I believe, tasty appetizer but when sharing just ask if there's one or multiple. Parking lot on site. No stairs and all on one floor. Wheelchair accessible if needed. Definitely check out Rock Lobster.

I walked over after a long day for a nice dinner after passing several places I was set on eating here. It was a busy night but the service was great which is not always the case. The bean soup was delicious and I'm sooo glad I got it. The lobster was okay too. It was a nice meal but a little pricey compared to some other lobster spots I tried. The quality service and friendly staff definitely will have me stop back in.

Delightful local spot with more than seafood. The salmon was well prepared with a nice sauce, fresh steamed veggies and a wonderful cranberry cabbage slaw. My son enjoyed a feta and pomegranate salad. Wait staff is very friendly and accommodating to diet restrictions.

We did come back! Would definitely recommend making a reservation as we got lucky the first visit but our second time they were full. They offered seats at the bar which was great because that way we didn't miss out on ordering a seafood boil to share. The picture doesn't do it justice as there was an amazing amount of food; crab, clams, mussels, crawfish, shrimp, scallops and of course potatoes and corn. But the showstopper was the 1lb of Caribbean lobster! Absolutely delicious! Possibly the best dinner we had on St Kitts! Small walk from our resort to a wonderful night out. Indoor and outdoor seating with a very relaxing style. The entire staff was friendly, helpful with suggestions and attentive throughout the evening. Saving the best for last, we both had surf and turf. The medallions were done beautifully, the lobster was grilled to perfection and the potatoes and vegetables were also delicious. We told them we'd be back and we will!

Get the lobster. Out of this world delicious! I didn't care for the crusted parmeson grouper but that's on me. I should have gone with my first choice of lobster. The lobster salad and coconut shrimp were wonderful and the bread pudding was yummy. I hope we can have dinner again before we leave.

If you dont want to be to lavish on spending in these hard times or if you are celebrating a special occasion with friends and family, this is the lime for you. Saturday special of ribs plus half lobster, and one daily special of a whole lobster (plus sides for each; the Saturday special came also with a conch and corner chowder appetizer, plus several small sides and a fruit punch +/- rum) were more than satisfying for our party of two. We really wanted to make it to dessert but had no space left, so I guess we will just have to come back!

The food was amazing. Conch and corn chowder, very flavorful and incredibly tender conch. Cashew crusted Mahi was cooked perfectly. The daily special was 1/2 lobster and choice of meat, so much food, but so very good you feel bad not stuffing yourself. Tricia our waitress was the cherry on top of a wonderful culinary experience. Would most highly recommend.

We went on a busy day for a birthday celebration. The special that night was really good, choose 2 meats and sides for 100++ ECD. I had the steak and ribs. Food was really good, I will return to try something else. The service was a bit slow but it's because of the volume of ppl there that night. I would recommend going here.

We went for an impromptu dinner date at Rock Lobster and had a really great time. Our servers were very nice and the food was very tasty. There is indoor or outdoor seating and a lively atmosphere. Rock Lobster is definitely worth a visit. We had 2 apps and 2 entrees with sparkling water and one non alcoholic drink. It added up to about $141 USD. We had the mussels and pesto mushrooms for apps. Shrimp and lamb chops with assorted sides for entrees. They have a pretty diverse menu so something is bound to entice you. All the food was excellent

Not worth the hype. My mahi was incredibly dry. Service was not good. We were by no means in a hurry, but we sat for 52 minutes from the time we ordered until our food came and it was just two of us. We did not order anything difficult or hard to make, they were menu items, not even the specials. We had zero people come by or check on us during that time. Our food arrived and my husband asked for ketchup. We had to ask 3 people before it came and it took close to 20 minutes. We had to get up and go to the bar to get our check as our server never returned to our table. We understand the culture and like I said, by no means were we in a rush. But when you’re eating $40+ plates of food, service goes along way. Also, 52 minutes is a long time to wait for a two top to get their food. It was not busy at this time either.
