Bukit Merese

Mentioned on
Hiking area
Bukit Merese is a popular tourist destination in Lombok, offering spectacular views of the island and beautiful sunsets. Located near Batu Payung beach, this hill can be reached after an hour-long hike from Mandalika or a quick 15-20 minute walk from the car park. The hill offers panoramic views of Lombok and visitors can also enjoy swinging on a swinger located not far from the edge.
Less than 1km from the parking lot you will see an incredible view. I went there at 6pm and there was sunset even it was raining. This place is really worth to climb. Not far from the edge u can use the swinger. I highly recommend this place. I will come back.

What a lovely sunset point. The hike is almost a short walk and there is plenty of places to view the sunset from, and also accommodate the crowd (we went on a Sunday so the place was quite packed - but this isn’t really a problem because of the area). Definitely recommend the drive from any part of Lombok, which is a beautiful comfortable drive full of tree canopies and views of adjacent rice fields.

One of the most beautiful view point’s I‘ve ever been to! The big hills and wide view over the sea are breathtaking! The water is so clear and blue! Also nice if you are looking for a sunset spot. It’s not that busy, you can just walk up and down the hills and you‘ll always find a quiet spot.

What a wonderful place. Merese Hills located in the middle beautiful beach. The blue sea, the green hills, the white sands… its like a dream place. Definitly, I’ll come to visit again!

No word can describe the stunning view and amazing atmosphere at this view. I am so happy our trip with friends ended here with this perfect view. The wind is very strong but the drone is stronger! Strongly recommend to go

Incredible Viewpoint! A little fun "hike" but with views all the way. From here you can reach lonely beaches. If you are in Lombok i can only recommend going there. The hills themselfes reminded me of rohan in the lord of the rings.

This is a stunning location and walk. One can drive to the entry and walk all the way to the end of the cape! A small fee is collected at the entry. The only issue and why it is 4 stars is that I spotted a number of plastic trash on the trails from people just throwing it down the hill. Keep the trash to yourself when visiting! Future visitors will thank you for it. Don't spoil a beautiful spot in Lombok. The grazing cows will thank you too for not accidentally landing some plastics in their diet. As you walk towards the cape, spot the pristine beaches on both sides. Some of them might be tricky to get down to so go only if you are confident. At the end of the cape, there's a nice sandbar connected to an outcrop, quite a beauty! Seems like the scene changes depending on the seasons too, so it's a fresh spot to visit.

Beautiful sunset, beautiful view from above the hill The scenery it is natural and raw, absolutely wonderful. My couple and I really enjoyed the moment here, more than the MotoGP We Love Lombok!

Such a cool place to watch a sunset! Better to come at 16.50 and explore all hills, bring water with you! ❤️‍🔥 Crazy cool views

Actually the places is good and refreshing, the wind blow cooly even when it's in the heat of afternoon! But sadly, because of a long dry season without rain in the past few months the hill is not green and more to brown. Some tips, come here when the dry season is over so you'll get more awesome picture :)

Very nice and easy trail to do, not to much people. The beaches was beautiful. They asked us to pay entrees 10k each. If you go, be sure to have a driver waiting for you or rent scooter because no taxi there and you have to walk more than 1hour to reach the nearest civilization. Even the locals at the entrance offer you 100k to be driving to Kuta in scooter (10min drive).

MAHAMAYA Gili Meno is a stylish resort located on the picturesque Gili Meno island, offering guests a relaxing seaside experience with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. The hotel features a beachfront restaurant serving delicious meals and snacks, as well as an outdoor pool with a bar. Known for its breathtaking sunset vistas and romantic dinner tables by the water's edge, it provides a top-notch dining experience in a beautiful setting.
Loved our stay here. What a beautiful location. Everyone was so so helpful and the food was delicious. We saw some beautiful sunsets, sea turtles right outside the hotel and made some wonderful memories. The statues in the sea are also a short snorkelling journey from the beach at the front of the hotel too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend as either a hotel or restaurant. The only negative was that some of the restaurant portions can be fairly small, but maybe that was actually a good thing!

Amazing beach front restaurant! We booked here for our Christmas Day set menu and it was incredible (awesome gravy, roasties) and the cheesecake was the best I’ve ever had ❤️ staff super friendly and helpful and great price too. We loved it so much we came back the last night for dinner and we’re equally as happy with the venue :) thanks so much xx

Amazing hotel, with lovely staff and perfect location on the beach for snorkeling with turtles and the sunset. We ate there a bunch of times and everything was yummy. One day I found the chef on the beach buying freshly caught fish off a local and so I ordered it for dinner - it was honestly the best fish I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

We stayed here one night. It was a last minute stay as we had originally planned to stay in Gili Air this night, but after a problem at the hotel in Gili Air where the accommodations did not meet our standard we decided to head back to Gili Meno. It was a busy time in the Gili island b/c of the day of silence in Bali where many people leave Bali for night or 2 to avoid this holiday. The Meno house was booked where we had stayed 2 nights before so we booked here. Hotel was right on the beach. Breakfast was lovely. Chairs on the beach were comfortable. It was nice that they had a pool(s). We were a little bit stressed as we needed to catch a ferry back to Bali and the ferries were packed because of the return of many people back to Bali after the day of silence. In fact, an additional ferry was added that day but most people on the inland including the front desk at our hotel were unaware of this. It would have been nice if they had been aware of the extra ferry, not sure if the hotel should have done more research or the ferry company should have advertised better but that added stress to our vacation here. I actually do not recall our room much or our stay here but I think it was all fine for the most part but not as lovely as I wish it were. I remember I liked the Meno House better.

I am rating and describing only the restaurant. It was a delicious diner that We had in the beach hotel restaurant. The staff are good as well as the food. We took fish and chips as a main. Course and a toffee sticky pudding with vanilla Ice cream as desert ( we took first a pudding and pavlova but the last one was not good so has been changed and not charged) . The price are correct. I recommend to visit and had a dinner as they have a very beautiful beach view. May be I will come back to try the hotel on itself :) :)

Great welcoming and always smiling staff! They made our honeymoon even more special. Speed boat leaves you on the beach in front of the resort. Villa was tastefully decurated and it was facing the sea. Very good breakfast and restaurant with home made foods and fresh fish. Magic atmosphere at sunset! I definitely reccomand!

Came here to have dinner for my birthday! My husband arrange birthday cake also with affordable price and good cake! The appetizers, meal, and drinks were good! Services also good! All the staff even sang happy birthday when delivered the cake to our table!

Great place, the rooms are very nice, in a good condition. There are 2 pools with easy access from all rooms. The restaurant are fine, not fancy. The dishes they serve are well done. The menu is limited, and because there are not many options on the island, that is a problem. Breakfast is ok, but limited, and the same every day. Also a problem, because the are not really many alternatives. The staff is really friendly and all of them remember our kids name - that’s cute. We got picked up on the pier of Gili T, at the same minute we arrived from Bali, that was really great after a long day of traveling.

Amazing view with best food in the island. If you take private boat, you can dock right in front of hotel. I really liked that the hotel is newly renovated and quiet. The beach in front of the hotel is insanely clean too. There is dive shop only 2 min walk away from hotel so perfect for divers as well

Such a nice place! Great food, atmosphere and our server Aan and the rest of the crew were fantastic! We had a romantic candle light dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We can really recommend you to arrive just in time to see the sunset, which is beautiful from this place!

Enjoyed our stay at Mahamaya Friendly staff, good breakfast - possibly the most expensive place on Gili meno but you felt very well looked after! Premium on drinks /food if you want to stay at the hotel for the whole time you visit

The hotel is very exclusively placed on Gili Meno. If someone wants to have luxury stay away from hustle and bustle this is a great place. Their restaurant food is great as well, we got multiple vegetarian options here.

We had a comfortable stay at Mahamaya. A special welcome in our room to help celebrate our honeymoon was a lovely start. Room was clean and included unlimited drinking water and good amenities. The included breakfast was basic and nice, we ate elsewhere for dinners though for a little more atmosphere/food range. Beach-side service was good, but unfortunately the cocktails weren’t great. We enjoyed the complimentary bikes to explore the island.

Starting off with the location. Just awesome. Especially if you go there for dinner (with a reservation you'll get the best table) first row overlooking the beach and the beautiful sunset. The service was always on point and each one tried their best to fullfill all of the customers needs and wishes. I can recommend to each and everyone to go visit this restaurant

Really special experience. Located directly on beach with hotel’s loungers and tables, viewing the turquoise sea and neighbouring island. Loved the super king bed and outdoor shower. Ate every meal at the hotel and very impressed by the range, quality and presentation. Lastly, staff are attentive, available and very friendly!

We booked one of the two beach villas as a treat, it was lovely but if we stayed again I think I would book a standard room as all the rooms looked really lovely. Breakfast is good, only allowed one hot drink, but we could make more tea/coffee in our room. Only ate lunch once and it was very nice, restaurant was busy in the evening but we like to dine in more local places so can't comment on dinner but the setting is very romantic in the evening. Location - definitely best side of the island, good restaurants within walking distance, saw plenty of turtles either from our sun lounger or in the sea, close to the Bask underwater sculptures. Arranged a transfer via the hotel, which worked very well and meant we could arrive and depart from the hotel beach and not via the port on the other side of the island. Definitely the best midpriced place to stay on this beautiful and laid-back island 🏝
jane anness — Google review
My partner and I ordered the mixed seafood grill and steak from the restaurant. While the grill and steak was decent, we felt that the price was a bit too expensive for the quality of food. Given that there are plenty of bars/restaurants in the area, we would recommend dining at other places!
Keane Esmond Chooi — Google review
We had a good time. You can snorkel right around the island, but we saw most sea turtles and beautiful coral right in front of the hotel. Lunch was good as well as breakfast. The menu items are just a little bit expensive compared to the local areas. We had dinner at a local restaurant. You get free snorkelling gear and bicycles to tour the island with. That was all great. One downside is the room- although beautiful and neat- it is not very practical. The airconditioning in the room was on it's last life and did not really work well. The bathroom is kind of open area with an outside shower, so the outside heat and humidity lies here. The door between the bathroom and the room does not seal well so the little cold wind the aircon tries to give, the bathroom heat seaps through and takes away. In the end it was very hot and we ended up sleeping on the floor where the tiles are cooler. The room door kept hitting inside the doorframe and made such a noise, we had to put a towel underneath the door to prevent it. Overall we had a nice experience. Sad to say, if you look at the rooms, we didn't get what we paid for. Everything else was fine.

They have tables in the beach and at night they are really nice! Make sure to make a reservation Food is pretty good, fresh squid was really good and the Nutella dessert amazing. A bit pricey compared to other restaurants in the island

Friendliest staff of the planet, and the quality of the hotel is amazing, I wonder how they can provide such a high standard on an island that has basically only beach and some trees, no cars etc. So a little luxury wonder on an island of pure peace 💛

Tanjung Aan Beach, located in the southern part of Lombok, is a stunning 2km stretch of white sand and turquoise waters. Legend has it that the beach is home to Princess Mandalika, who transformed into a sea worm to escape unwanted suitors. Accessible via a rugged trail road from Kuta, this beach remains relatively undiscovered by tourists. It features iconic swings along the sandy coastline and is popular among surfers and sunbathers.
Beautiful beach with really smooth white sand. The water is very clean with relatively low tides and not crowded at all. Suitable for family trip to gathering, playing, swimming, or simply floating around. There’s no need to pay for tickets. There were 3 of us and I only paid Rp10.000 for car park. At the other hand, some part of the road is quite muddy because it’s still under construction. Be careful if you come around January 2022. Still worth to visit tho

Great beach, very clean and a beautiful view of clear blue sea. Great beach, very clean and a beautiful view of clear blue sea. I can recommend the restaurant Pink Swing. Good prices, beach mats and umbrella for free if you buy a drink. The only thing that bothers are really pushy sellers who don't take no for an answer.

Still one of the most beautiful beach in Lombok. A bit dirty with all the seaweed on the shore but it's OK, for MotoGP preparation, there will be a new road coming directly from Kuta, so expect more people visiting and more garbages I assume.

Very clean, wonderful and sandy beach. By far the best beach i visited in south lombok. Only downside is that too man people want to sell you stuff (every 5 minutes). So sadly you can't really relax there.

Awful experience. Every motorbike has to pay a 10K fee for parking. I would gladly pay if the beach was a minimum clean, but it’s all dirty.. Plastic pollution everywhere. Where does the money go? It’s not the beach it used to be a few years ago. And the access is not pleasant as you have to drive through the highway in works.
Juliette LAROCHE — Google review
Beautiful white sandy beaches with little huts along the beach. They provide activities such as snorkelling and surfing. But there was so much litter on the beach. And also the are several sellers that will not leave until you buy their items such as bracelets. But the moment you purchase it, their friends will come and force you to buy the same items from them. So avoid buying unless you really need it at that moment.

It’s easy to take beautiful photos of the blue sea and white sand but the truth is there is so much litter and no one takes responsibility for the amount of plastic going into the sea. The sellers on the beach are beyond annoying, basically harass you.

Mountains
Mount Rinjani, located in Lombok, is a massive active volcano known for its stunning natural beauty. It is often considered one of the most breathtaking volcanoes globally and features a crater lake with crystal-clear blue water at its summit. The area surrounding the mountain is lush and cool due to abundant rainfall and protection by forests and jungle. Hiking expeditions are available for those looking to explore this majestic natural wonder over multiple days.
very good place to visit. There are two main roads: from North (Senaru) and from North-East (from Sajang). The second one is the most common, there is option to shorten the path by using motirbike with driver, but anyway it requires some mental and physical condition from hikers. We selected way from Senaru. I strongly don't recomment to go there is you don't have solid experience in advanced hiking. First of all way down from caldera ridge to the lake is abandoned, broken by time and mudflows. Second, you will need to hike youselves to caldera, there is no way to shorten the path by car or bike. The weather was good, hikers (we) are very experienced but cannot imagine we do it while raining. So think twice before going this way... But we did, were lucky enough. Moreover as I guess this way is forbidden and you cannot find official guide to go with from Senaru (we used early hiking, 4am to pass the gate to national park :) ).

One of our best hikes we've done. It's challenging and demanding but the view is worth every step! You have to be fit to do this hike. Make sure to reach the summit before sunrise as the colours are amazing! It's gets really cold on the summit so make sure to take some warm clothes and jackets. We've done it twice and if we have the change we would do it again. 100% recommend
M M — Google review
Unlike most people, we decided to hike up to the summit at around 3pm, and made it to the top at around 8pm. It was already dark by then but we were able to see an amazing sunset all by ourselves. Plus, going early in the morning for the sunrise also means that (1) you need to wake up at 2am and (2) you hike up with TONS other people, making the hike up the summit a lot harder and slower. I highly recommend going at 3pm instead.
Pablo Mza H — Google review
great hike, camp 1 is on the crater rim, and the next morning you can walk to the summit which is the highest point along the crater rim. the ground is loose with scree so you will slide back with each step, making the summit harder than the altitude difference would suggest. coming down on the scree is surprisingly easy because you will slide down with each step
Chua Hsieh Li — Google review
Great experience. Base camp to camp 1 was relatively easy, just pack light (essentials only + water). Options to take the motorbike taxi to Pos 2 for 200k or courier your bags for 50k. The climb to the summit was fun and not too challenging. You will almost always make the climb before sunrise so make sure to bring/rent trekking poles and headlights. It’s cold at the summit and pack extra for warmth.

If you have the chance to do this while on lombok i’d highly recommend it. We went up with guides and carriers and they were super polite. We did the 2 days 1 night trip, summiting on the early morning of the 2nd day. Prepare yourself as it is not an easy hike. Going up it was very busy so that was a bit of a pity but definitely worth doing.

Rinjani is the second highest volcano in Indonesia, after Mount Kerinci. In terms of beauty, it is second to none. There are few well known trails that offer different length/challenge/view. I opted to ascend thru Sembalun and descent thru Torean. From Sembalun to Plawangan (crater rim), it is a mix of flat and steep terrain, the view for the most part will be the awesome savannah. There is no shade at all during this part but most of the time you'll be covered by cloud so it is bearable. On the later steeper part nearing crater rim, it change a little with some not too thick trees that offer some shades, you can still see some views as the trees wasn't dense at all. Most hikers camp at crater rim before summit attack early morning usually around 2-3am. I started at 2.30 and reach the summit around 6am, just nice before sunrise. The trail from crater rim to summit basically can be divided into 3 parts. The first part is steep with some loose scree but certainly doable. There are ropes fixed at some points but I don't really need them so it's really not as hard as I initially thought. Second section is the longest in term of the distance but very easy with almost flat and solid surface. The last section is the one that you can see from crater rim where you camped, it is mainly made up from loose scree with plenty of dust (wearing a buff will be helpful here). Not as hard as I made to believe, but very very dusty. View from the summit is a majestic 360 degree view with Bali and Mount Agung on one side, savannah on the other, plus Segara Anak and range of mountains. Totally worth the effort. Most people told me to bring gaiter but I don't have any issue without it, not a single rock entered my shoes but I can't say the same to my friends. After descend, we went to the Segara Anak lake to camp. The descend from crater rim to Segara Anak was the most challenging due to the extreme heat. We started the descent a bit late at around 1.30pm due to one of my friends is a slow walker. Try to descent before noon as you will get shade due to sun directions during morning time. Hot spring near the lake is very welcomed after a long hike. The last day from Segara Anak to Torean village is fairly easy, there is some sections that require hikers to be more attentive due to narrow path next to the cliff. The view is totally great but you will be exposed to the elements again. After a while, you will enter a jungle area with no view but that also means you no longer exposed to the element. We trekked with Green Rinjani and I would rate them extremely high. Excellent service, the guide (Andhy) and porters really hardworking. I would recommend them without hesitation.

The trek is beautiful but it is extremely challenging. There is a lot of loose gravel so make sure you have good shoes.

*This review is based on my 2017 experience* We choose the 3 days 2 nights trip with local company. I thought I was in good shape but this hike still kicked my butt! 8 hours of non stop hiking everyday definitely pushed me beyond my limit. But the view was out of this world! If I could redo it again I’d pick 4 days 3 nights so I’ll get to enjoy each pit stop a little bit more. Shout out to the porters who were the real heroes!!!

The views on mount rinjani is incredible. Went for a 3D2N trek up from sembalun. The hike up on the first day, was manageable and we enjoyed the different scenery and cool weather. Took us about 7 hours to hike up and we reached the crater rim around 4pm just in time for the sunset. Stayed the night on the crater rim, view up on crater rim is fantastic enough. We were blessed with great weather and clear cloudless sky but extremely strong cold and never ending wind. The wind blew continuously such that our tent collapsed in the night. Woke up at 2am for the summit and the hike up was a killer. The terrain of lava rocks up the steep steep summit in the relentless cold wind, made it very tiring to climb. But the view up there is amazing even before the summit. The whole experience was breathtaking literally. The hike up the summit was too tiring for us so we opted not to continue to the lake but to descend to pos3 to camp for the night. The descend was really tough for us and taxing on the knees. Highly recommend challenging yourselves on mount rinjani. My advice is to be prepared with proper cold weather attire, and hit the gym more often before the hike. Have a fun and memorable experience!

It's almost every experienced hiker dream to climb Mount Rinjani. The popular trek starts from Sembalun Village and finishes at Torean or Senaru Village. You need to go with a professional local guide and hire porters for a smooth and pleasant hike. The most difficult part will be at the summit where there are many sands and loose gravels. Wearing gaiter when summiting is advisable. If you want to hike to Mount Rinjani with great guide & porters, kindly contact us: IG: @trekkingtherapie

Mt. Rinjani is one of the toughest but yet offers one of the most astonishing scenery and experiences to me. You start with unique landscapes of Savanah grassland, climate alpine and eventually to planet Mars like barren volcanic terrains before reaching the summit. You need more than just stamina to pull you through....your mental strength is equally important. Do get a good team of guide and porter to support you on the climb. These people are unbelievable and help to make things happen.

Be prepared to experience primitive living, camping grounds have limited basic facilities, i.e., no toilets, clean water . Extra care of your foods doesn't upset your stomach.
sagi gunib — Google review
Not a great hike really, from the opinion of a very experienced hiker. The trail is barely maintained if at all, it's mostly volcanic sand so you're slipping constantly, it's pretty unsafe. In a two day hike it rained heavily the entire first day, everything was soaked. We were told by our tour operator there would be a group of 6-7 people, we ended up being surrounded by a good 250+ hikers and porters, sometimes literally queuing behind slow people. There's so much rubbish around all the stopping points and trail, the tour companies clearly don't clean after themselves and the rangers (if they exist) don't clean either. There are macaques around attacking people and stealing food, and Chinese tourists feeding them which is even worse! The views from the rim down into the crater were nice for the 20 minutes that it wasn't obscured by heavy cloud and fog cover. I've hiked a lot around Europe and I would return to the Alps or Scottish Highlands long before I hike Rinjani again.

Climbed the Mt Rinjani on a 3D/2N hike. Amazing experience, pretty easy if you are well trained but can be difficult from 50m before the summit. Had a lot of wind at the summit which was terrible but the view once up there was unbelievable at the sunrise. I recommend if you are looking for a bit of challenge during your trip in Lombock.

Went 3 days 2 night, reached the summit and hiked down to the lake for the 2nd night. It was totally worth it, too bad I didn't go through torean route

Beautiful views. The trail can be intense and could use some trail maintenance. And trash pickup. But the nature really shines. My one piece of advice would be very careful what tour company you book. We booked John’s Adventure and they ran out of water on day 2 of our 4 day hike. They offered us unfiltered stream water instead. We had to end early because of their mismanagement. You can read that review via my profile. But back to the mountains… it’s beautiful. I’m not sure you need a guide. We saw many groups leave their guides behind because they were in better shape. The views of the lake are phenomenal. We especially liked camping by the lake because it was less crowded and felt peaceful. The hot springs are beautiful, bring something to swim in. The hike down to the lake is slow going because it’s steep steep. Back up to the rim was steep but felt better maintained. Hiking from the rim out was the easiest day. Though certainly slippery there is less gradient.

Amazing experience, we did 2 days/ 1 night. It's a difficult and intense trek because the ground is very technical but it deserves to be done because the view at the top is breathtaking.

We did our 2D1N to the summit with NemoeTrekking, we recommend. The hike is difficult on the second day. Expect to wake up at 2am and begin around 230. You need to be prepared physically and mentally. The volcanic rocks are slippery during the last hour. Good luck!

When visiting Gili Trawangan, it's important to be cautious about the local alcohol due to past issues with laced spirits. However, the island offers more than just parties and beer. The Trawangan Night Market is a popular spot for families and backpackers alike in the evening. It features open-air traditional food stalls offering affordable grilled seafood like crabs, king prawns, fish, and squid as well as local desserts.
It’s lil expensive but worth the visit. Shoutout to the guy who works at the very first store. He is doing his best. If you love seafood, I highly recommend black jack fish and spicy prawns. The fish was absolutely tender and the prawn was so flavorful. The inside of the market was super warm so I was literally sweating when I was dining that night.🥵 Overall great experience💓

Not so many options, the prices are quite expensive. 100K for medium-sized fish like Kerapu. 50K for half portions of green clam, which is not so fresh, and we ended up cannot eat it. Overall, the prices weren't on par with the taste. It's better to eat at the restaurant nearby. You'll get a better taste of food with the same amount of prices

Cool dinner place with plenty of fish & meat (mostly on sticks) to choose from. Various stalls have similar offerings and you get to chose side dishes with any sticks/ fish. We spent 200k IDR for a red snapper and 4 skewers (25k each) plus 2 side plates as well as 25k for desserts. Overall value for money could be better for being street food. Also heard other people getting way higher prices at the same stand

Our 1st stop for dinner at Gili Trawangan , we just walk here from our resort , place was smoky with the charcoal smoke , my friends who frequented this island told us to choose the 1st stall on my left hand side as the meat was fresher , we didn’t bargain much though , when you order the bbq meat , compliments of 3 till 4 types vegetables selection for you to choose , I choose brinjal , tofu , four angle beans and risoles , I like the vegetables from here . Yummy . Then we had fresh local orange juice and Nutella crepe as dessert . Ok for the experience

Ok but not cheaper Nice attraction for tourists who wanna feel a bit mir local, and only chance to get some dinner on the Island after 10 p.m. Quality seems ok and safe, variety is huge, prices are pretty much the same as in the restaurants at the beach. Might be worth to check out options in the back - surprisingly even beer had a different (cheaper) price there.

Great place if you want seafood bbq at night. I’ve tried several food stand but the tasty one actually located across the street. The one with blue tend and the price also lower than the food stand inside the market. Inside the market normally price for fish was 50k with rice, but the one outside the market will only charge you 30k. And don’t forget to try mie ayam ceker next to the night market, taste really good!

Place to enjoy your dinner in Gili Trawangan if you don't have much choices about where to eat. Open at night and they sell various kinds of seafood as well as green food (vegetables, beans, etc). Prices are varied based on what you order, so make sure to ask it first and what includes. I bought one big fish for 120.000 rupiah or USD 10 including rice and vegetables for 5 people. But it's not cooked well. Tell them to cook yours well when you order.

Bargain 60k per stick of seafood. Somebody mentioned the stall near the entrance is fresh & good. Free nasi campur when you order enough skewers. The sticks were grilled with a sauce which was very meh. The nutella crepe stall was delicious though..

Lovely food market from 6.30pm till late every evening - I’d recommend to try some Indonesia food! Produce quality is great and they cook it in front of you! Very very cheap! Tables and chairs are available to sit.

You should experience this place. They have a great range of fresh seafood and also skewers of beef, chicken and vegetable salads. They offer deals and tempt you to spend more... which is ok as it is still likely to be better value than most restaurants. It helps to get here early (before 7pm) and secure a place at a table and ideally one member of the group can anchor the space while the rest browse and choose. For the best seafood you may want to ask them not to use the standard spicy sauce. It seems an intense but worthwhile experience. Enjoy.

Excellent (and inexpensive) local street food, fried or grilled on the spot. Fresh juices and other beverages too!
Pietro Crovetto — Google review
Loved the Tuna skewers but prices could be cheaper. I also think the meat should be protected from flies, maybe the food could be kept in containers, or with shrink wrap or a fan. Overall a nice experience but could be improved. Good assortment of sides with skewers.

Just a local experience here to have some grilled fish/seafood. Food is generally okay, some seafood prices are so high you might have to be very good at bargaining. I had the Grouper (ikan kerapu) for 150k (including rice and veggie), it’s so fresh and delicious. Tried the skewers (2 skewers of your choice Rp 50k including rice and veggies) and it’s a miss. But all in all, it’s a good experience!
Prawnche N (FoodVenturer) — Google review
I rarely like to leave poor reviews, but people need to know that this “night market” isn’t the best. I recommend going to enjoy the experience, but be cautious. Let’s start with the good things: fresh juice and desserts are safe and plentiful! The fish is pretty much the same at each stall and many are not on ice. The other foods you can get are room temp at best and the people working the stalls are constantly batting away the flies. None of this scared me away and we were adventurous… after sampling plenty of the ready made food, like mine goreng, tofu, tempe, samosas and spring rolls, we then ordered seafood skewers: octopus, calamari and mussels. They said they would bring them to my table, but didn’t so I went to ask for them and they were cold. They reheated them on the grill and we tried a bite of each (not much food to cause all the havoc we then endured). This is how we got Bali Belly in Gili T. I also want to clarify that my whole group is pretty adventurous and loves to try new food and we rarely have issues with adjusting to new cultures foods, this was a result of seafood not kept at a proper temp. So in all of this, enjoy the experience, but choose wisely. (If you end up like me, get the activated charcoal at the market, it will help!)

A real must if you are in Gili Trawangan. THE PLACE for dinner; satay and skewers, fish and seafood, made to order. All stalls have the same prices (arranged), so choose those you see best looking food. Usually the first one on the entrance from the sea, at your left, is the busiest and the best. If you are a group, send a friend to scout for seating, it's usually really busy.
Carles Mateu — Google review
Lots of people, not really crowded as in low season. Good food, still a bit pricey for locals but much less than a restaurant's price. Lots of options, and all have good taste too!
Cenna — Google review
The food here was great, you choose the type of seafood/meats you want, either on Skewers or whole, then they grill it for you fresh on the grill. This also comes with 5 different sides, which are all delicious also. The service was great also, all the workers were very friendly and helpful with ordering the food. They have crepe booths also and fresh juices, when you order they bring it to your table. The atmosphere is very lively, the staff in the booths are funny and friendly. There are also booths behind the food that sells other merchandise.

Great variety of fresh fish and other vegetarian dishes... All very delicious and tasty... A bit too hot and too much smoke from the BBQ, but absolutely worth a visit!!
Simon Prucha — Google review
Impressive selection of fresh seafood! Everything is fresh and cooked to order. Meals come with a selection of vegetable sides, sauces, and rice/noodles. Always negotiate the price beforehand to avoid surprises. The place is packed and vibrant - lots of people all eating together on long tables. Lots of energy around. Came here to get the king prawns and barracuda. Paid 300K for 2 prawns and 100K for 4 skewers of barracuda. Only bad thing was the guy mistakenly gave us an order of octopus which was sitting on our table for 5 minutes before he came back. I ended up paying 100K for it and no choice had to eat some of it despite being so full already. Nonetheless, this place is an experience.

Can't recommend this place at all. Shout out to the vendors who are doing their best but everything is just the same. The food is completely tailored to those who like bland food but think it's local. The fish is not fresh and usually covered by flies. You do get 5 sides when you order skewers but they're just cold and as bland as the rest of the stuff. Can find way better food elsewhere. It's just a tourist trap.

STAY AWAY!!!!!! Gilli T’s biggest rip off! Background: we’ve travelled Asia for a couple of months, last week in Bali we ordered a single stick for IDR 1,000 and on Lombok (in the top rated restaurant) a portion of 4 for IDR 20,000 We approached the stall, located front right corner as you face the beach, and looked at the menu. The server was chatty, very outgoing. We asked for chicken sate and the server immediately picked up 4 sticks (important to remember this), we then chose another 4 varieties and he picked up 4 sticks each time. The advertised price, as shown on the menu, was IDR 25,000 Food delivered, it was all ok, tasty, octopus severely overcooked but no dramas. Went to pay the bill, to find it was 4 times the expected amount! The server pointed out the cost shown was PER STICK, plus a COOKING FEE! My Wife asked where this was shown on the menu, and he laughed, and was very disrespectful. He pointed out (which we didn’t check) everyone does this. We asked for a receipt, which he got wrong, added extra we hadn’t had, and got the amounts wrong. Utterly terrible, staff don’t care, they want your money and want to rip you off. Total cost for the satay was €40! NEVER GO HERE!

Something you have to experience at least once. Good food, very cool atmosphere. Always ask the price before hand. Choose the ones that are a bit more busy so the food is more fresh. If you can't handle smoke from bbq's don't sit inside the big tent. Try some sweets for desert for sure!

If it were possible I wouldn't even give it 1 star. I ordered a lobster, price was very different on the menu than he LATER told me. I paid 50€ for a lobster that didn't even taste good. I told him that I didn't want the lobster anymore after he told me the price and he proceeded to tel me that he had already cut and cooked it although I saw the lobster in a water bucket. Then he quickly threw it in the pan in front of my face and told me to pay now. That's not even the worst part. The lobster was served with steamed rice and vegetables. I took one bite of the rice then when I stood up to go leave I saw them brining my rice plate which had other dirty plates stacked on top of mine back to the kitchen AND RESERVING THEM TO OTHER CUSTOMERS. Extremely disappointed, praying I don't get Bali belly, and almost got into a fight with the owner. DEF DONT RECOMMEND!!! Update: me and my friend both have explosive diarrhea right now. Do what you will with this information. Foto of the stall:

Pearl Beach Lounge is a unique beachfront restaurant and lounge located in Gili Trawangan, Indonesia. The two-story structure is constructed almost entirely of bamboo, giving it a distinct and beautiful appearance. It offers a laid-back nightlife atmosphere where guests can enjoy fantastic meals under the roof or relax on the beach with a bottle of beer on beanbags and loungers. The oceanfront location provides stunning views of the horizon, complemented by the sound of crashing waves blending with lively music at night.
Came here to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriend and was very impressed. Definitely a spot for a nicer dinner in Gili T. We started with the goat tacos which were really good and different than most things you’d try at another restaurant. For dinner we had the salmon & the ribeye. Salmon was really good and the pasta it came with was great. The ribeye was surprisingly (cause it’s an island) really tasty and cooked to perfection (med rare). Service was also what you’d expect from a higher end restaurant. Great overall.

Recommend: I have eaten here a couple of times, once for breakfast and one evening meal. Food is fresh, tasty, well presented, excellent selection of dishes for all to enjoy. Service could be better, the staff don't seem very attentive, may need to shout, flash your phone or get up and ask. However once you get their attention service is professional and efficient. Lovely dining experience inside or out. Last point, I was traveling with an older member of the family and noticed the floor levels change unexpectedly, the natural colours especially at night could catch you out, so watch your step and enjoy your meal.

If I could give -5 reviews …I will not deny that the food and ambience is exceptional but pls your 2nd floor staff ( especially the short guy, he has no name plate in it) Needs more customer service training. Mostly, I observed that they’re responsive with typical caucasian guests. They immediately provided the menu but just because I am asian looking , the courtesy has been vastly different. I was waiting for 10 minutes then I have no other choice but to approach that waiter and he talked to me in local language and rudely handed over the menu. It took again another 20 minutes before he took the order, but I did observe that they were tending immediately to caucasian guests who just came. Plus, that same rude waiter again assuming i’m local and taking my order rudely. I have to snapped him and say “i don't speak your language” This will be the first and last for me Food and service must come hand in hand.

Regina Pizzeria, located in Gili Trawangan, is often hailed as having the best pizza on the island and even in all of Asia by some. This Italian-run pizzeria serves authentic pizzas cooked to perfection in wood fire ovens. The portions are generous and delicious, making them perfect for sharing. If you're craving a good Italian meal, Regina Pizzeria is the place to go with its range of pizzas at reasonable prices.
Really good pizza here at Regina. We got 1 fungi pizza with added sausage and one half Quattro fromagi (with tomato sauce) and half pesto. By far the best pizzas we’ve had in Indonesia alone so far. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic service. It’s a proper pizza oven so you can’t go wrong really. The watermelon juice is also beautiful. Fans all around to keep you cool in the area as the oven heats everything up. The pizzas are ready so quickly but don’t compromise the taste. It’s a must go to this place. We came here twice and I tried the pepperoni the second time which was 11/10 P.s. There’s a sign in the loo that shows some good information, most importantly free water refills. There’s an app to download, see picture.

Good crispy bottom pizza in a wood fired oven, nice thick crusts for a thin pizza, good amount of sauce so not dry. I got the Pepperoni pizza and it was good, pepperoni could have been better but not bad, the taste was good and the pizza was a very generous size for the price. Staff friendly and helpful. We asked for chili sauce but they only had chili oil, would have been better with a sauce to dip but still good regardless :)

it’s a must in Gili T! I’ve been in this island 4 times now and I always come back here. As an Italian I love this place because is old, simple and real. Pizza is delicious and the atmosphere with old Italian music is magic. The owner has kept the atmosphere always the same, it feels to be in Italy in the 90’ with a bit of Indonesian vibes. Nothing has changed, I love it! You can ask for half and half pizza from the many different choices the menu offers. It was a pleasure surprise. Service really fast. Smoothies were really good and pizzas were way better than I was expecting. If you would like to have a pizza this is a must go place, better than some European restaurants to be honest. The focaccia was a bit salty in my opinion and be aware that the proportions are really big, so if you are not hungry one pizza is enought for two people. Nevertheless don't worry, they will provide you with a small box for take away. They only accept cash and the prices don't include a 10% tax. We ordered a focaccia a prosciutto & fungi and a vegetarian pizza

This place was incredible. Everything we ordered was delicious, particularly the crudo. I eat a lot of cauliflower and this was hands down the best cauliflower I’ve ever eaten. Not a big oyster guy but best oysters I’ve ever eaten as well. Everything is good. You can’t go wrong!

Been here twice already in our short stay in Kuta, their food is delish. Sit out the back round the fountain and enjoy their Moroccan food, if you come at the weekend make sure you get one of there giant cinnamon buns! Will definitely be back before we go to try there dinner buffet

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. I had the “ I falafel you “ in medium and it was really enough for one person- very delicious, the falafel itself was a bit dry but together with the hummus it was fine. It’s a very chill vibe, very relaxing with the water dripping down from the fountain and many people are here to do some work on their computer. The staff is also super friendly :)

This place is insane. The interior and vibes are dark and cosy. The service is friendly, just you expect in Indonesia. The food… just incredible. The tuna was out of this world and all other meals are also very delicious. It doesn’t matter what you order, you are going to have a good time

El bazar, offers a saturday night sri lankan buffet. We spend 8 months in sri lanka before comming to indonesia. When we saw the sign of a Sri lankan buffet we had to come and try! The food from the buffet is simply amazing. You can take as many plates of deliscous food dhal, sweet mango, beetroot served with rice. The buffet looks nice and has many different sri lankan specialtys served in a tidy fashion. My uploaded picture doesnt do justice to how good and geninue sri lankan food this is. The owner is from sri lanka and has teached the staff all the amazing recepies. Sri lankan buffet is Vegan and super deliscous. PS. the dhal curry contains enough protine if you are woried for not eating meat. Deffinetly give it a try while staying in Kuta lombok!

Great waiters and the atmosphere is chill. Even if the restaurant is right by the road, there is not much noise at the outside tables. The pita with the baba ganoush is amazing. The truffle pasta, the grilled fished and the roasted cauliflower were all great. The passion fruit sorbet in the pavlova was really good, but the mango curd tasted a bit dough-y.

After a long renovation the restaurant offered a new menu and incredibly beautiful new interior. Everything we had for dinner was beyond delicious and spectacular. Amazing flavours. I have no words for the baklava. Oven made, full of pistachio and topped with pistachio ice cream. Congrats to the entire team!

Finally this beautiful concept is open again! It was truly missed in town! The renovation has absolutely made this an upgraded experience for food and interior design. It has always been great but you can see & feel with how much care, love, taste & design this concept has just made a big jump. And they have a wine cellar now !! Absolutely a must visit when in Kuta lombok! Great food, drinks, service and vibe. Will spend many evenings here!

We order scallops for appetizers. No taste. Price high. Service not to attentive. My Sumbawa prawn was burned, but not bad. The fish of the day was ok. The cream potatoes were good. The lamb Shank was too much sauce, but it's good. All cost 1.5 juta rupiah.

Absolutely amazing food, the quality is so high and the chefs know what they are doing! We tasted some truly ‘new’ flavors this evening as all dishes were really refined and all had a special twist to them. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is great and music is amazing too. Beautiful place and experience altogether! Look no further if you’re looking for a great and special night out especially when it comes to food! (Pictured is the Baklava.. consisting of super crisp freshly baked pastry with mouthwatering pistachio ice cream, freshly roasted nuts and a caramelly honey sauce… would highly recommend😍)

Have been in Lombok for a week now and this is definitely my favourite Restaurant in Kuta. The food was really delicious and it reminded me of home, the Italian seaside. Agus was really sweet and brought us something extra as a starter which was extraordinary! Would strongly recommend to go eat there!

This restaurant is definitely a gem 💎 in Kuta, Lombok! I’ve made a booking for the night through Facebook with a request for pavlova with Happy Birthday Love writing as a surprise for my boyfriend and it turned out to be a lovely surprise for him! Seafood was our favourite, from the scallops to the squid to the baked sea bass, they were just so fresh! Thanks to the waiters, they were so attentive & friendly, knowing that we were Malaysian and praised us can speak well English & Malay *proud*. Plus they sang along birthday song to my boyfriend. We enjoyed our night so much!

Nice restaurant to have a western bite. The staff was welcoming and very nice. Their homemade ice teas were so tasty and refreshing. We got the bread from the house. Ordered the cauliflower, which was so yummy. Also ordered grilled octopus, fries and cacio e pepe. This pasta was so creamy and cheesy. One of the best pasta I had here in Lombok. The pandan creme brulee was really nice too with a rich pandan taste. Definitely recommending this place.

I love El Bazar and they recently just renovated and changed their menu. Burrata: the burrata was okay not very tasty but the combination with blueberry and beetroot was surprisingly very tasty and pleasant Beef tartare: yummy but okay. Not that special. Grilled octopus: this was the highlight of my night! Very fresh and tasty! 10/10 would recommend Cauliflower: soooooo yummy. The cauliflower was soft and full of flavor. Espresso martini wasn’t the best but still okay! I would definitely come back to try other dishes. Service was amazing by David and a trainee. Friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. Kudos to the team!

A lovely restaurant with a nice vibe and interesting menu. The grilled fish of the day was amazing (we had red snapper), and the scallops were also delicious! We found it to be extremely reasonable for the quality of the food so don’t be put off by reviews claiming it’s over priced!

By far the best in Lombok - eat here! The food is insane, fresh and world class. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. The price is very very reasonable. They were even nice enough to refrigerate our BYO cake and cut it at the end of the night

Service is really nice and the food is spectacular - probably one of the best restaurant i have visited in SE asia. Nice restaurant with a gd vibe for date nights or any kind of celebration as the staff are very helpful to accomodate our needs^_^ We ordered the oysters and scallops which feel so fresh, and the Lamb as the main course is absolutely incredible! The sauce is sweet and sour while the meat is SOOO TENDER!!! We also asked if we can do a platter with all the veggie side dishes and a pita bread - they kindly offered it as well and we do not regret it!!! I was so surprised when we had the Baklava, as it came with pistachio gelato and its very strong in flavour!!!

If you’re debating whether to try this place out, hesitate no more. Just go and order: Baba ghanoush Cauliflower (OMG! I couldn’t figure out what the sauce was made out of but this dish is divine) Pastas were on the heavier end, so I’d probably split this with a friend and add another lighter dish. We’ve tried all the pasta on the menu and all were amazing (but like I said, heavy). I was also wow-ed by the scallops. It was refreshing to have scallops that weren’t lightly seared in butter which is what is mostly offered in the States. Pandan Creme Brulle was out of this world, and I’ll probably miss this the most. Jumbo Shrimp and the grilled octopus was served on top of a red sauce (I believe it was the same sauce for both dishes), but that sauce was a bit underwhelming. It was missing a kick but maybe done so intentionally so the flavor of grilled seafood can be enhanced. Seafood were fresh nonetheless and I’d order there again. Grilled fish was amazing as well. Really, you can’t go wrong with any of the dishes here. Truly phenomenal to find a restaurant in Lombok where many items are the menu are delicious!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ El Bazar Cafe and Restaurant in Kuta, Lombok is an absolute gem! We had such an amazing experience here that we couldn't resist coming back for a second visit before leaving this beautiful island. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The decor is charming, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. Now, let's talk about the food – it was simply incredible! Each dish we tried was a burst of flavors and expertly prepared. Whether it was the mouthwatering local dishes or their international offerings, everything was cooked to perfection. We were particularly impressed with the fresh seafood options; they truly capture the essence of the island. But what sets El Bazar apart is not just the food but the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to make our visit special. If you find yourself in Kuta, Lombok, El Bazar Cafe and Restaurant is a must-visit. It's more than just a restaurant; it's a place that creates memories. Thank you for making our stay in Kuta even more remarkable, and we can't wait to return on our next visit!

Wow. Just wow. We got the grilled moon scallops, bonito crudo, baked bread, charcoal baked eggplant, and the prawn spaghettini. Layers upon layers of deep rich flavor. The dipping sauce for the baked bread was outstanding. Our server, Endah, was spectacular! We decided to go out on a limb and try dessert and got the Pavlova. The first bite to the last was heavenly. Just an absolutely fantastic restaurant!

Nestled along the stunning coastline of Lombok with mesmerizing views of Mount Rinjani, Chill Out Bungalows and Bar offers a relaxed atmosphere where guests can savor imported spirits, beers, wines, and cocktails. The menu features a delightful fusion of Sasak cuisine including homemade curries and satays alongside Western favorites such as pizzas, burgers, Hawaiian salad, and seafood BBQs.
Hands down the best seafood BBQ we had during our +3 week Bali and surrounds stay. It’s also the best beach to swim at on the island. We also had their Pizza, which we went back a second time for. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I lost my cellphone here, and the staff all helped me search the sand for it. Thank you for helping us find it, and thank you for the amazing service and food.

We went here last September as we were looking for a spot to sit down by the beach as we didn't have a place to stay yet. The view and beach looked great so we asked for a table. We had our drinks, which included fresh coconut water, of course. The beach and the water were absolutely beautiful and the water was very warm and clean. It felt great having a view of the water and the mountains. We got the mix seafood BBQ which had tiger prawns, tuna, scallop and vegetables with a side of melted butter, bbq potato wrapped in a foil, and some fried bananas and vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was a fantastic day. 👌 Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our time away on Gili Air at Chill Out Family Bungalow. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When you stay here, you get a wonderful breakfast every morning, the sunbeds and beach towels are included and the Wi-Fi works perfectly. In addition, one of the best snorkelling spots on the island is right in front of the hotel. A special highlight is certainly the evening BBQ with seating right on the beach. We enjoyed every second here and can highly recommend a stay here, especially as a family.

We came twice for the fish BBQ. The fish is fresh and well cooked. The price (now in September 2023) is 400k IDR per kg for fish and 500k for seafood. They have a good variety of fishes and a lot of turnover since the place is busy. Included you get unlimited salad bar, many sauces (that look homemade) and accompanying rice or roasted potato (best option for me). The fish is more expensive than other places, but given these extras, and the nice location with tables on the beach, I think it's a reasonable price. The service is excellent, quick and very attentive. Unfortunately other dishes we tried (curry and Greek salad) were more average and not up to the fish BBQ. In the afternoon it's a good place to enjoy the beach. I appreciate that they have not only juices and smoothies but also lassi.

We had a wonderful stay in one of their bungalows in March 2023. The bungalows are clean and well maintained. The bathrooms is built to the backside of the bungalow with the shower partially outdoors while the toilet and the sink area is covered with a roof. They provide coffee, tea and a water dispenser with hot and chilled water as well as a small fridge in the room. Additionally to the a/c there are fans over the beds. The beach in front of the hotel is clean and the sun chairs are in good condition. The breakfast offers several choices and was nice. We had our meals mostly in their restaurant. Quality and prices are good. The staff put all effort in you having a nice stay and we appreciated that even ok the first day they remembered us even by name. Only the WiFi was not really working but maybe that is a temporary issue. We would like to come back again there and have even a longer stay. Thank you

Amazing! So at First: Ive had lunch here, some different Drinks and dinner. It was all very good. The Waiters are so nice (especially Li 😊), i was there the first day to take a sunbath and drink an Iced tea. They remembered me the second day and asked directly if i want another iced tea. I know that the people on gili air are all very kind and friendly, but they were very interested in the customers. The Drinks were all good, you can drink everything with ice. The fresh fish at the dinner was just amazing, i can recommend the Mixed fish Kebab. It's all very fresh, so don't hesitate to order everything you like :)

Had to order a quick dish because we had a boat to catch and the staff did a very good job of taking care of that for us. We wanted fresh fish and they brought out a nice selection and grilled it to a nice taste. The staff was wonderful as was the meal. Worth a visit. The only thing that out a damper on the meal was the super quick and aggressive flies. Wish there was a way to deal with them.

Great BBQ and service. All the staff are so nice and helpful. Food was so good we came back the next day for more! We had mixed skewers and some fresh seafood from the bbq all generous servings and delicious. Reassuring to know they wash all their veggies with bottled water too! Salad bar was fresh and tasty. All the staff seem like they’re enjoying their work too Bonus points for cute cats roaming around!

This place was amazing. We spent all day on the beach and came back for dinner. They have fresh fish which was cooked perfectly that comes with unlimited salad from the salad bar. Staff is very friendly and attentive. They have wine by the bottle as well which is not that common on the island. We had a lovely evening. Thank you

Just had a 4 night stay here with my family and it was great. The food they do is excellent, especially the bbqs and enormous breakfasts including great smoothies and freshly baked bread. Just in front of the beach area there is great snorkelling with fantastic coral and sea life. The staff area lovely and helpful - they do the most fantastic birthday surprise song.

We booked the family room. It's hands down the best place on Gili Air island. Wonderful friendly staff who pamper you from the moment you arrive. Amazing service. Breakfast for kings. We were so full from the hearty breakfast that we skipped lunch. Generous portions and generous hospitality. Herman and his team made our stay memorable. Dinner bbq was abundant with generous salad bar options. Beach on the property was beautiful. We had a relaxing time and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We thank Chill Out for a wonderful vacation. One suggestion I would like to give is perhaps include a small lamp or night light for the rooms as it was quite dark at night in the room. Other than that I would say it was perfect!

Had food and drink here while on the island. The BBQ options are really good with unlimited salad. Happy hour has 2 for 1 cocktails which are fairly strong and a large beer for 40,000. Staff are really good. If you need anything they are there and get things done. Always check to see if you need anything. Happy and chatty with everyone. There was a live band on when we went who were really good. Well worth a visit.

Best dinner I had in Gili Air for sure - amazing BBQ fish! Fish was fresh and was really great value for the food that we received. We came here for two full beach days. Sun beds are free as long as you order during your stay. The staff is very nice. Food is tasty and most importantly the beach is perfect for swimming. You can even rent snorkelling equipment next door.
Anja Maria — Google review
We went here a few times, both for drinks and food. We found this was the best part of the island for beach chairs, vibe and swimming. So we came here nearly everyday to have a drink and swim, entry into the water here is easy and not lots of corals. Lots of people were snorkelling around this area as well. We stayed for dinner for the BBQ’ed fish, and chose the fish skewer, the red snapper, and some prawns. It was quite a lot of money, but with each BBQ’ed item you got rice, potatoes or chips and access to the salad bar. The salad bar was good, lots of options and tasted good. Only issue with this is they didn’t tell us that when we were planning g to eat was when all the flys are out, and if we waited a little longer, there would be none. So the food came and there was hundreds of flys, and this completely ruined the meal for us. We wasn’t able to enjoy it at all, as we were constantly swatting them away.
