The beach is nice and safe for those who want to bathe in sea water, but unfortunately it's not as clean as it used to be. Lots of traders and there is a place to rinse. As tourists, you can keep each other clean. It's good to take pictures here because not all beaches have big rocks like here

At first look similar with Seychelles rocky beach. Also become iconic beach in Belitung island; must come here to see and experience yourself once in a life time. Surprisingly the white sandy beach are all along the way from the road and almost empty, not many people like if you go to famous bali island. Less crowded, more happiness. Amazing view!!!!!! One recommended place to visit in Belitung. We rent a rubber boat with only 150k until you’re tired. Gave us more flexibility to explore the area to find a beat sunset spots. One of my favorite location for sunsets. I really love it!

The city is quite small and not much to visit beside local shops and seafood restaurants.

Belitung is definitely one of gems in Indonesia, being well known after the popular novel of Andrea Hirata, Ahok and Instagram all the beaches in Belitung have clear pristine water, breathtaking! Surrounded by huge rocks that is taller than coconut tree. I love being here, everything is in reasonable price, hotel, motel, homestay, food etc There are still raw places here. Locals said when you are lucky sometimes you can see crocodiles crossing your way. and it's not the small ones but big ones, they can be more than 3M long, sounds scary right?! But locals seems to get used to with this kinda thing

This is a a small piece heaven on earth, there's a lot of nice beaches. Wonderful panorama also great kedai kopi. The people ini Belitung island is mix chinese and malay, with their diversity the people living in a nice harmony. There're Muslim, Christians and other religion but they can help each other. Their brotherhood is really make us comfortable. So visit this small island is a must at least once in your life

The main docks for islands hopping starts here. Make sure to book a boat earlier in the morning since it will getting very hot in the day time.

This is the main gateway for you to travel to other small islands at Belitung such as Lengkuas Island,m Kelayang Island.
The place is clean. The toilets and showers facilites were available and clean (please find the toilets and showers near the big Tanjung Kelayang signage)
Regarding food, I would like to suggest to add more variation such as Roti Bakar, Kentang Goreng, Singkong Goreng, Pisang Goreng as many food stalls offer similar options.
I visit Tanjung Kelayang Beach when I was going to Island Trip that was provided by my travel agent, Belitung Travelio. It was a beautiful beach with white sand. There are so clean and the peoples are so friendly. You can take the picture there and have an amazing result.
We spent 2 hours only for having lunch and relax after full time morning meeting. We really enjoyed the seafood served to us, not forget trying coconut.
And the view is awesome !

The noodle was special, it was presented with Simpur leaf and served with creamy paste made from fish broth, I guess. I love this kind of noodle for the uniqueness not the taste. The chicken rice, for me, it just a common dish, it didnt have something different inside.

The first time I tried Mie Belitung is at hotel, and it’s barely palatable, so I was determined to find a tasty one. A lot of people recommended this place, and it didn’t disappoint. It’s very tasty. The broth is thick and full of flavor, cucumber slices gives it freshness and melinjo crackers give a bit of bitterness. You should try this if you visit Belitung.
The food was OK. Resturant has pictures of the last Imdonesian president eating there as well as other celebrities. This dish may be more of a local favourite, but the flavours and texture of this meal didn't please my taste buds. It's worth trying to make your own mind up.
We ate breakfast straight from the airport. The noodle was delicious with shrimp stock soup and pair with es jeruk sirup kunci. We got here early. Hence, it was pretty quiet. Then, it got crowded
Bland food made worse by bad service. Was sat at a table that was not cleared yet. They took over 10 minutes before it was cleared. Then another five before they actually wiped the table down. They took our order after about 20 minutes after sitting down. Ordered both mie belitung and rice tim with es jeruk. Drinks came out with about 10 minutes later. One of the drinks had ants in it. We got a replacement for that one. Food finally came out about 45 minutes after first sitting down at the table. Food was bland and unimpressive. The reviews for this place are very misleading. If you had to pick between the rice and noodles, pick the latter as it is slightly better than the former. Overall, not a restaurant that I would go to again. It is highly understaffed. They need to hire more people to service the patrons. Definitely many come here for some reason that I do not understand.

We came when the restaurant was crowded, so they are clearly overwhelmed considering the amount of staffs available. The order process is kinda confusing due to this.

It's a typical old chinese family restaurant vibe, with lots of photo with known figures in the wall.

The most unique restaurant in Belitung and also one with the most authentic old recipe. Their concept is so unique that they decorate their place as it feels like 1990s. The food is also extra extra yummy, their ikan bebulus is truly a bomb. Service was great too. But they don’t have parking lot for car, so we have to park out car on the side of the road, but trust me, it will gonna be worth it with the experience you get there. All the best Timpo Duluk!

I love the ambience of the restaurant. It describe what food they serve. The food looks interesting in the table and serving but for me the taste is not my taste. But I recommend you try the traditional food here. Full of spices. It is also Instagramable place. The price is affordable and making sense.
#Let'sGuide, finally i have a chance to go to Timpo Duluk, the interior lay out was amazing, the taste of the food is good really good the rich of traditional flavour and really warm when served to the table adding the appetite of the customers. U can find lots of food combination here, and the price is consider 7-8 from the scale 1 cheap - 10 expensive, depending on the food combination when u ordered. As an example dinner with combination like the foto below for 5 person it will cost u 480.000 IDR.

Place is okay. It’s very touristy. Lots of other great places to try Belitung cuisine, but I guess this place has it all. Plus you also get the ambiance of eating in an authentic, certified by the Ministry of Culture, traditional Belitung house ;)

When you are in Belitong this is the place you must visit to know the real taste of Belitong. They serve wide range menu of Belitong culinary delicacy. Very authentic taste and spices. You wont find it in any place outside Belitong. The ambience is different, so old as you were in the time machine. You can see anthiques stuffs like shoes, old radio, etc. I will definitely go back.
Good ambience. but for me, the food is just so so, a bit pricey for this kind of quality. the waitress imo prioritizes the one within tour group. just felt ignored and the waitress is in haste. overall, it's a little bit overrated place with not so good service.
Super local food. Vary tasty. If you want to taste original cuisine, this is the place. Very recommended. If you go during Hari raya, they may not have completed menu yet. The atmosphere is look like old times.

Have you ever had the experience of coming here directly but the restaurant was closed. Must be ready with cash because cashless payment methods are not available / the EDC machine is damaged.

We had lunch here after two hours drive from Tanjung Pandan. We sat at the table with stunning view to the river. It didn't take long, the food was delivered. It was yummy.
However, there are no wheelchair accessibility.
The restaurant offers scenic view to the ocean. It's spacious with parking lot that can accommodate few travel buses. If you're okay with the strong wind, you can opt to eat at the dock. I tried the 'ikan tenggiri bakar kecap' (grilled mackerel with soy sauce) and 'kangkung cah polos' (water spinach). The fish is fresh, the sambal terasi (chili shrimp paste sambal) is strong but so delicious, and the kangkung is very tasty. With the taste and view, the price is reasonable.
Best seafood restaurant at Belitung. Big area for party, gathering & others. There are many spots for eating such as near the lake, near the garden, on the swing, etc. The restaurant has its own private dock.
Cool place to dine and unwind on East Belitung. Beautifully reside on lake shore, remarkably gardened and landscaped, completed with great foods. Main options are fish, squid, or crab. The 'genjer' is definite must try.
One of famous resto in west belitong. Many people to suggest to come and try “ikan bakar 2 rasa” but for me personally its not to special but I do love vibes of the resto especially if you choose near of their dermaga. So peacefull

Pari bakar is a nice to try, along with its ketam saus padang. Too bad don't have any time to try the saus tiram version. Comeback the day before departure for its Pari bakar again

Fresh seafood restaurant you should try when visiting Bangka island. During Cengbeng season it will be very very crowded so you should make reservations and put your order in advance. They serve a lot of kind of seafood. Fish, crab, squid, mussels and also vegetables. You should order ekor tenggiri bakar and eat it with their special chilies sauce, very delicious. Servants are always busy so you must call them repeatedly. Since you put your order usually you have to wait for 1 hour, so not suitable if you’re in a hurry. Price is quite expensive. At night you can buy traditional snacks and cakes at the shops beside the restaurant’s front gate. They also have very limited parking area, you should park your car on the road near the restaurant.

Ikan Tenggiri Bakar is very nice! so fresh you could taste the sweetness of the fish. Go well with the chilli sauce provided. Crab is just mediocre. Lokan is big size but not much texture. Reasonably priced.

The Otak2 ( fish cake wrapped in banana leaves then roasted) were good but small in size. They are about 4 to 5 cm. The tauco chilly sauce was very delicious. Worth to try. Fried taro balls n fried fish skin balls were just ok

This place is a must stop point when you are in Pangkal Pinang, Bangka. You can taste special dish from Bangka. When you coke to the restaurant, do not be confused, no need to ask the menu. Just sit down. The staff will served the food (steam, grilled wrapped in banana leave and fried), get the cutleries from the plastic tray in front of you and dipped the fish cake in three different sauce. Then tell the staff what do you want to drink (common order mineral water, ice tea or soft drink). Has many stores and also in airport so can bring it home.
The taste of grilled fish cake that they provided is delicious. There are 3 kind of sauce that you can choose, tauco sauce, chili sauce, or shrimp paste sauce. You can also order red bean ice to complete your lunch :)
A must-visit place if you are looking for Bangka special otak-otak and pempek. They also serve ngpiang which is made from fish skin and bujan which is made from taro. You can also order them in package for you to bring to your home by ordering then taking your order few hours before your flight. They’ll pack it in boxes and it is safe for airline baggage! The price is quite reasonable since the this place is really popular for Bangka souvernir. Also, you can dine in here.
Otak-Otak Ase is a really famaous place to get otak-otak (fish meat wrap in banana leaf) and pempek in Pangkal Pinang. They make thousands small packages of otak-otak everyday.
The seating at Otak-Otak Ase is just like any ordinary food shop that sells the same kind of food, comfortable chairs and table. On the table, there are 3 kinds of sauces (terasi, tauco and chili sauce), kecap asin and manis, mineral water, etc.
This place is always packed. If you eat on the spot, they serve your food fast but it takes time if you want to take home, since so many people buy their products to take home or mail it to their love one.
