First of all this is a place of worship. Hence Google should stop people from rating it. This is a great sanctuary of peace harmony and love. God bless our Sikh brothers. Every Hindu is indebted to their Sikh brothers. Sikh brothers should also understand that Hindus are their own people. And Sikhism is a pluralistic religion which has taught Preaching through Service. Proud to be part of this community.

Wow such a divine and amazing experience. I visited this in the morning and was awestruck by the appealing atmosphere. People here are good and will guide you throughout. Architecture wise it's amazing and prayers were going on inside. Soothing music and pretty vibrances made my day. All sikhs and guru Gobind devotees were present and I liked it. Location wise it's 3 km from the Patna Sahib railway station and both public and private transport are available. Overall a great and nice experience.

जाको राखे साइयां, मार सके न कोय' 🙏 When people rush toward their hectic schedules, they lose interest in all of the things that make our lives so wonderful! The colour white is used everywhere, forcing you to maintain your thoughts tranquil and at ease. This is a space for everyone, for those who believe in the power of blessings and for those who lack it in their lives. Every human being should come here! You will develop a more positive outlook and think more positively. I highly urge you to attend at least once if you are heartbroken, and you will be able to restore your capacity in any way. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Situated at Patna City area this Gurudwara has magical aura. Birth place of Guru Gobind Singh ji, the tenth guru of Sikhs. Amazed with peace and eye catching architecture. Everyone irrespective of caste, creed and religion visits this place makes it even more beautiful. Whole day langar sewa, a delicious and fulfilling meal serve thousands of people daily. Besides, there are various shops outside selling bangles, rings, and kada. Auto rickshaw charges Rs 35/- per person from Gandhi Maidan and drops at the main gate of Gurudwara. Its always a wonderful experience to visit Shri Harimandir Sahib Gurudwara. One of the most recommended place to visit in Patna. Note: Photography of Guru Granth Sahib is strictly prohibited.

TAKHAT SRI HARIMANDIR JI PATNA SAHIB is considered the second holiest Takhat. Revered as the birthplace of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, it is one of the five seats of temporal authority of the Sikhs and has been consecrated by three Sikh Gurus. The construction of the takht was commissioned by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the 18th century to mark the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh. Peaceful environment 🙏✨

Must visit place if you are in Patna. The whole experience is something unique which you need to go through. Peaceful, spiritual, very well maintained and managed. Spend sometime in the main hall and it will be an experience you will cherish. There is parking in the gurudwara but the approach roads are narrow and jam most of the time. Better to avoid your 4 wheeler and use ola/uber/auto.

I reached there early in the morning (7am) only to avoid the severe congestion which is usually found in Patna city. It was a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful and very very peaceful. The gurudwara is very well maintained. Post darshan, I proceeded towards the langar hall and enjoyed the meal. Felt absolutely delighted to be at the Gurudwara Sahib, Patna city. Thankyou!

The langar food is simple and tasty and the bhog too. Takes about 1hr to see the place. Donations can be given inside the main bldg and for Langar at the langar hall. A weekend getaway place in Patna. Good place for kids as they enjoy. Their are ample of space. But only thing is animals are not well feeded. It feels like they are not getting proper food and service. Tiger and lion were looking very weak and thin. The authority should take care of it more properly. Infrastructure has improved a lot compared to my last visit was long years back

It was a good experience, the zoo is good for most things but lacks something like a variety of animals. And I will suggest not visiting during the summer season because all the animals hide in their shelter. The things I liked are different zones for reptiles, birds, and fish. I added some animal photos that I was able to capture. One more thing there was a ride zone for kids where your kid can enjoy different rides, in the ride zone there are some rides which are damaged and also the zone is not properly maintained. There was a boating zone inside the zoo where you can enjoy padel boating with your friends or partners for 2 people it is ₹80 and for 4 people it is ₹100. The charges for the zoo is ₹30/person and for kids zone ₹5 for kids and ₹10 for adults.

Sanjay Gandhi Botanical and Zoological Garden is located on bailey road, Patna. The park is Patna's most frequented picnic spot and has 70 Animals, 35 species of fish and 5 species of snakes. It's a good place to visit with your friends and family. The only problem which is still there is that it doesn't have nearby stalls apart from the centre one which is located near the lake and they don't sell mineral or packaged water only water cooler is available. Rest everything is up to the standards of the zoological park and lastly, it has a boating lake.

However the animals need more care, not all of them are in best condition. Still a nice place for picnic, family outing or even a date with your partner! You can even try a solo visit, trust me it's amazing. Don't miss the Aquarium (closes 5:30PM) (need to pay extra 10rs), it is near Gate No. 2. You can take your bag inside with you, there's no checking generally of the items, so you can take tripod, camera and other stuff if you wish and capture some nice photos. Tip: Don't miss the Royal Bengal Tiger 🐅

Good options and animals are there. I had understanding there is no animal but I was wrong but in afternoon all animals will be resting due to heat. If you brought kids the golf cart options are there. But if you walk then you can spend time. There is Machli Ghar inside that is paid too.

You can also see a group of school children as the school takes their children for a small trip. And golf court ⛳ is also available but I didn't go there so I didn't get to know anything about that. A train was available for roaming the whole zoo before but at present it is not operational. Overall you will enjoy your trip. We visited the Patna zoo to kill some of our time in the heart of Bihar state. The authority lacked to properly maintain the glory of the Patna zoo. The who was not properly maintained and there were many shrubs and bushes here and there. There was a lack of proper directions for us to follow. The good thing was that there was only a 30 rupees ticket for the entry in the zoo. I think if they properly maintain the zoo. There would be many visitors. There should also be a combo ticket containing all the rides and places with a discount so that many people would buy that.

Good place to spend a day out. In the near vicinity to the airport, this us very massive area with ample collection of animals. The online ticket process is smooth, yet you may need to buy ticket many times inside as it has multiple places inside like aquatic life, boating, etc... Toilet and drinking water are available in few places as well. Restaurant inside is costly but at least something better than nothing. Maintenance of children park is poor with broken swings, yet they charge entry ticket. Botanical garden is good and spacious for team activities. Your may find quiet a few animals absent, but may be that's temporary. The electric vehicle inside charges 50ish and can take you around in an hour, however, suggest you to take a walk instead if you don't want to rush finish within an hour. Overall nice place but can be improved in maintenance.

Winter and spring season is the best time to visit zoo as the weather makes it pleasant to roam around the place. Patna zoo is quite well maintained and the animal cages are also clean but the animals look quite weak, they should be fed properly. It's a huge place and other than animals, one can go for boating or just enjoy the serene environment. Many people come here for morning walk and others are just tourists or family and friends. It's a perfect place for family picnic or friends hangout. But this place don't have proper cafeteria so it's really difficult to have lunch or any snacks here. It's better to carry drinking water whenever visiting.

Certainly! Here's a review for a zoo: I recently visited sanjay gandhi jaivik udyan , and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the beauty of the park and the diversity of wildlife on display. One of the highlights for me was the well-maintained habitats that seemed to closely mimic the animals' natural environments. It was heartening to see the animals thriving in spaces that appeared to prioritize their comfort and well-being. The variety of animals was impressive, ranging from majestic big cats to playful primates and exotic birds. The zoo's educational programs and informative signage made it an enriching experience for visitors of all ages. The only minor drawback was the food options; I wish there were more diverse dining choices available. Overall, Zoo is a fantastic destination for families, wildlife enthusiasts, and anyone looking to connect with nature. I left with a newfound appreciation for the animal kingdom and a sense of hope for our planet's future. I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful zoo.

Gate no 1 is the right entrance for a good start having almost more than half the park to cover from. It has a small food court somewhere in the upper middle side and a few set ups for drinking water along the way with no water bottle or food allowed inside, with only exception with food for infants or toddlers. There is a very small area for fish aquarium to visit with additional charges for adults 10 rs and kids 5 rs. It requires additional tickets for an electronic rickshaw ride and in almost one hour it covers all the parts with obvious stops for a closer look. E-rickshaw service booking is opened till 4:30 in the evening or until it's availability. Booking booth is just after entering the park. It is advisable to cover the entire place before 4:30 as mostly goes back to their adobe before 5 in the evening.

The Bihar Museum is a contemporary museum showcasing the history, art and culture of the region. It boasts well-presented state and country artifacts, resembling that of American or London museums. The modern amenities and concept are a result of the government's initiative and vision. A nice restaurant offering tasty food is available with discounts for students while adults pay an entry fee of Rs 100. The fully air-conditioned corridor and hall lead to nicely-located lawns mostly covering historical facts.

What can I say, an absolute world class facility. The museum itself is a modern structure which stands out in Patna. And don't get mistaken, this is not Patna museum , this is Bihar museum focused on the history of Bihar. Every nook and corner of the museum has been crafted and designed as if you are wondering in Louvre. Each section talks about the different era right from the prehistoric days. The collection is extraordinary and not to be missed when in Patna. The toilets and the corridors are clean and constantly tidied. Another outstanding feature is the restaurant Pot Bellied serving the true cuisines of Bihar never heard or seen under on roof. Will love to sometime visit the museum just for the restaurant.

There are also interactive exhibits that make learning fun and engaging. My nephew and I had a great time at the Bihar Museum. He was particularly amazed by the exhibits on how people in the past lived and made food, shelter, and sculptures without any machines. He was fascinated by the ingenuity of these people and how they were able to survive and thrive in difficult conditions. I also enjoyed the archaeological exhibits. I learned a lot about the history of Bihar, and I was amazed by the beauty of the sculptures. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Bihar Museum, and my experience was nothing short of awesome. Despite the slightly higher costs, the overall impression left by the passionate atmosphere and the cool, neat surroundings made it truly memorable. The museum itself was captivating, and the nearby restaurants complemented the experience with their offerings. The commitment to cleanliness added an extra layer of satisfaction to the visit. A worthwhile destination for those seeking a rich and enjoyable cultural experience.

Sights & Landmarks
The Golghar, an impressive granary built by the British army in 1786, serves as a historical landmark in Patna. It is being restored in 2018 to prevent famine like the one that occurred in 1770. The carved sign on one side reads 'For the perpetual prevention of famine in these provinces.' The Golghar provides sweeping views of the city and is a must-see attraction for both locals and tourists.
On 11 January 2024 i visited Bihar's stately heritage Golghar which is located west part of Gandhi maidan, Patna (the capital city of Bihar state) , India. Golghar is one of the largest granary in round shape which is symbolised as a stupas, it is on 2.5 km from patna junction and it takes around 25 to 30 minutes through walk and nearly 10 minutes through public transports. History The purpose of construction of Golghar comes after the Bengal great famine 1770 which spread throughout contemporary Bihar (that time part of Bengal, British India) in this disaster approximately seven to ten million people died, to avoid this kind of massive famine again British India company decided to build Granary where grains can be stored for future survival later, the beehive or stupas - shaped structure was introduced by captain John Garstin he was an engineer of the East India company's Bengal army and construction was completed on 20 July 1786. The construction of Golghar was a part of a general plan for the everlasting prevention of famine in these provinces. (contemporary Bihar) However, the full capacity of grains could never filled inside the storage because Some visitors have claimed that the reason for this is designed of the structure whereby the doors are designed to open inwards; thus, if it is filled to its maximum capacity, then the doors will not open. However, visitors have found that the doors open outwards too. In tradition Some say nowadays Golghar is considered a milestone to its kinda structure and became one of the historical touchstone constructed by European, hundreds of people visit every day to see this amazing structure of granary the maintenance works of this structure done by Bihar Government which is also responsible for promoting Golghar as touristic place in Bihar, one can reach at the top following 145 staircase, from the top one can see the beautiful views of Patna City along with holiest Ganga river. FAQs 1. Is it allowed to reach at top? > No, because of security reasons and gate remain closed all the time. 2. What is the prize of ticket? > 10 rupees per person 3. Is it open every day? > Except Monday (Monday closed) 4. Is there particular playground for children? > Yes , ofcourse

Bihar Tourism should make a note of this. Such a beautiful historic site is going in ruins. The site is not maintained at all, with broken sinks, disposed off coolers, dried up pool and fountains this place is an absolute turn off. All I could only see couples in masks using this site as a cheap getaway. Please for the sake of history do something starting with increasing the ticket prices from historic Rs 10.

During the Gupta Dynasty grains were stored in this huge granary. This is historical place located to the west of the Gandhi Maidan in Patna, capital of Bihar state, India. Visitors cant climb to the top because of permission denied. While we went to see the ruins of Nalanda we were also fascinated by the granary. At the top you can view entire Patna city.

Golghar, completed in 1786 during the British East India Company's rule, was commissioned by Captain John Garstin. The granary was constructed in response to the devastating famine of 1770, with the intent of creating a storage facility capable of withstanding natural disasters and ensuring food security for the region. Golghar's architecture is a marvel of its time. The structure, resembling a beehive, is made of brick and mortar and stands at a height of 29 meters. The design incorporates a unique spiral staircase that ascends around the exterior, leading to a panoramic viewing platform at the top. The primary purpose of Golghar was to store grain for the British Army and mitigate the impact of famines. The design, with its thick walls and ventilators, aimed to prevent the spoilage of stored grains by maintaining a cool interior. The strategic location near the Ganges River facilitated easy transportation of grain by boat. For tourists and history enthusiasts, Golghar offers a captivating journey into the historical narrative of Bihar. The guided tours and informative displays within the structure provide insights into its construction, purpose, and the historical context in which it emerged. The panoramic views from the top make the visit both educational and visually rewarding. Golghar in Bihar is not just a granary; it is a living testament to the resilience of communities in the face of historical challenges. My visit to this historical monument was an enlightening experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone eager to explore the intersection of history, architecture, and the societal impact of such monumental structures.

Raj Rasoi is a sophisticated eatery that offers a diverse menu featuring Indian and Chinese specialties. It caters to families seeking an elevated dining experience, boasting ample seating arrangements and an inviting ambiance. While it may not rival more extravagant establishments in the area, Raj Rasoi excels in satisfying customers with its delectable cuisine. Although parking is limited and service can be slightly slow, the overall impression of this restaurant remains positive.
This place is quite amazing. With a great ambiance it serves super delicious food. We had our team lunch ( official ) here. Few people were from out of Patna and others were out of Bihar. Each and everyone liked the food and quantity as well. We were served with Handi Chicken and One mutton dish with bread ( Tawa Roti ) , boondi ka raita and lastly gulab jamun. Overall all must visit and do try food here. You can come with family, friends and loved ones as well. Cheers to great service and hospitality. Keep shining 🌟

We visited the restaurant today for a group lunch but was disappointed with the service standards of the restaurant as the waiters were not up to the mark while serving they were more confused than confident. Even at few places behave was not good too. The menu mentions so many desserts but the sad part is they serve only ice cream and gulab jamun . Seriously I don’t know why they mention if they cannot serve. Raj Rasoi needs to improve standards.

As has been mentioned in umpteen reviews pertaining to this age old Restaurant, the prices are surely on the exorbitant side with simple starters being priced the lowest at ₹280. The quality, taste and ambience in no way justify the premium being charged along with a mandatory 5% service charge. With respect to the food, it cannot be said to be bad but at the same time cannot be classified as tasty. The dishes lack a certain zing or wow factor which one often looks for. Ordered the Manchow soup whose flavours were on point. The chilli potato was made by saucing French fries up ( yep : जुगाड़ ) and had to be sent back for an oil bath since they were not crispy at all. The fried rice had a subtle smokiness and generous portion of egg while the sautéed vegetables in Hot Garlic Sauce had a nice hint of spice. Can give it a pass if you find some better restaurants since Raj Rasoi has fallen from the golden pedestal it once shared with other fabled joints of Patna.

Beware!!! One of the most overrated place to eat in patna. Extremely high prices for ordinary items. Unimaginable amount of service charge will be added automatically within the bill other than taxes... One small bowl of dal (just okay in taste) will cost you 275 rupees.. Rather than improving on quality of food they work on earning unreasonable extra charges. Not allowed to buy a soda water bottle. Staff told me I have to pay price for 3 glasses of soda waters (110*3) for just a bottle which you can buy outside for.20 rupees. Hair filled female washroom basin, low hygiene. Advised not to visit. Go to anywhere else.

I visited this restaurant with my parents and had a mixed experience. The service was incredibly slow, and the staff was not friendly or attentive. The food, however, was decent, neither exceptional nor disappointing. What stood out about the restaurant was its ambiance, particularly for cricket lovers. The place had a unique cricket-themed decor that added a fun touch to the dining experience. However, one downside was that the restaurant is located in a somewhat interior area, so it's advisable to have your own vehicle for convenience. Overall, while the restaurant's atmosphere is a gem for cricket enthusiasts, the slow service and average food quality were a letdown.

Charged wrongly for packaged mineral water. Even more than the MRP and then added GST on it. Even their staff was unable to explain the logic behind this ! They just told that this was Maurya rate. Food taste was good. Staff behaviour was also good. Nice ambience.

“Ucha makan pheeka pakwan” that's the saying goes when it comes to this place. The ambience is good no doubt but when it comes to food its a horrible experience and this I am saying after my 2nd visit. I ordered veg momos, schezwan noodles and Manchurian. The momos were ok.. no problem (having less filling). The issue comes with noodles and Manchurian. I ordered schezwan noodles and they served me hakka noodles claiming its schezwan (billing was of hakka). Manchurian had a foul smell( yucks). Later we ordered Hazelnut Cappuccino and they served Coffee.Either they think customers are fool or they are oversmart. Menu for the ones who need it....

Recently I visited this place with my friend, we both ordered their famous blueberry cheese cake and at first the person who was serving ask us to cancel the order in a very funny way because some other lady ordered it there was shortage, genuinely i didnt like this behaviour and immediately said we won't manage why should we take the highway then he brought us the famous star of this place. According to me only cheese and biscuit part was delighful I was gobsmacked at first but the moment I added the blueberry coating it tasted not very eatable rather a jam ,I guess it didn't go with my taste in food. Even my friend didn't like that, just because of the atmosphere we really enjoyed it. Anyways we visit places for taste not for the atmosphere only. I hope both these two qualities go hand in hand in future.

First of all, everything that I tried, tasted delicious. We were a group of four so we did try a lot of veg nonveg and desserts. The menu is also reasonably priced and has decent no of offerings. About the Ambience. Its one of the better places which is much more spacious than it looks from the main road. The whole place is themed in Cinema style and theme aside the interrior design is very pleasing and photo friendly. There is also a dedicated red carped style photo booth with Lights. The first floor was not open for service but it was very comfy and we were not stopped to go there and click some pics. The staff are very friendly and one of the best thing about the place. The experience was better than I had expected. I hope they open the first floor soon as it seems more relaxed.

The ambience and atmosphere are very good where you can enjoy it with the whole family and friends. The staff is really nice, professional and friendly. This is a very good place to organize any party such as birthdays, etc.. They have a wide variety of food and beverages. Beverage prices were towards the high side, food prices were reasonable when considering the quality.

I was there couple of days back. And it was a random visit to the Bollywood treets express. The experience was very good. And the most important thing was the band who are performing there. They are performing very well and capable to catch attention from the crowd sitting there. Taste of the foods were as per expectations. But the environment was much more impressive. Covered seating and open seating arrangement was there. So the person can choose in between as per their wish. No doubt the rate are bit expensive but one can justify with overall experience.

Though the food was overpriced, the quantity and quality of items were good.

The Dining Room, an innovative Indian restaurant in Patna, offers guests the choice of dining indoors or outdoors on the lawn. This luxurious establishment is known for its excellent meals and is particularly popular for breakfast due to its early opening hours. The casual ambiance of this restaurant includes a spacious open area and a well-maintained green lawn. While the seating could be more comfortable, the overall atmosphere is pleasant, making it a decent option for lunch or dinner.
This restaurent gives you very cozy and private vibes. The presentation and the taste of food is really really impressive. I personally found food very tasty and presentable. you can defineatly go there for a brunch with friend or on a date with loved ones.

The food ranged from good to excellent buty main gripe is with the waiting staff. The waiters wre not paitent nor were they hospitable. On our visit, there was a malfunctioning speaker which made it difficult to talk. We asked the staff to turn it off... AND THEY REFUSED!! I get not turning off the speaker because of policy but if something is malfunctioning then please turn it off. We asked to see the manager for this and the staff straight up refused! Eventually after much talk they turned it off but what a treatment! The food was good though but i will say it is on the expensive side. The parking was also good though there wasn't much traffic when we arrived. The view if you choose the open seat is also very good and that sort of made up for it.

If you want to go to a place which is aesthetic and serves tasty food. This place is for you. I don't think i have seen such beautiful restaurant anywhere else in patna. It is a rooftop area and trust me this place is beautiful😍. The interior designing is so good. The behavior of staffs was also very nice. They were attentive and helpful. Food was also nice. I really liked the biryani here. Only thing is that the wait for the food was really long even though that time wasn't the peak time. Overall its a good place and i would strongly recommend you to visit this place.

Perfect place to celebrate birthday or anniversary at average cost, located at right place, staff behaviour is very polite, services are prompt. I recently visited at restaurant and seriously it was way better than expectation. Food quality may be improved little bit. But overall good experience.

Decent place for lunch n dinner. And if you love clicking, this place will give you a lot of options. It definitely provide you with a pleasant ambience overall however the sitting arrangement can be a little bit more comfortable. This place can also be booked for celebrating your day with your loved ones. Staffs are courteous and service depends upon what have you ordered.

Ambience: The place has a cool vibe to it. There are a lot of families and friends. Very busy and better to reserve a table beforehand. It has indoor as well as outdoor seating. Food: I liked the food there. It's good. Service: The service I received wasn't upto the mark. Instead of feeling relaxed I felt they tried to hurry me into ordering. Also, when I reordered some bread they forget to bring it and I had to wait for 20 minutes. Cost: The price is premium but it's acceptable. Other Amenities: The place has a parking. You can access the rooftop restaurant using the lift. It's also accessible for wheelchair but you will need lift for the initial 2 steps. Toilets are clean and don't smell (which is not a familiar sight in Patna). I recommend this place.

This is a roof top restaurant in Bailey Road. The ambience has such a good vibes, what i really mean it is so beautiful. The staffs are professional that you will enjoy the hospitality here. The quality is quantity of food is awesome, yes the place is a bit expensive, like it will cost you around ₹1000 for two persons. But the experience that you will have here is awesome. I am just a fan of the ambience and food. The place is suitable to visit with your group or family. You will find a lots of special thing in the menu of the dining room. I will recommend that you must should try Chicken Lollipop here, you definitely are going to be fan of this. Also i won't will recommend you to try the Pasta in White sauce, it wasn't upto mark; it was just okay.

One can enjoy most if the weather is pleasant. Otherwise, the customers prefer to sit in air conditioned room and hence it gets crowded. Also, if you are thinking to visit it for lunch during summer, you shall plan for some other place as because of it being rooftop, the AC fails to cool the place properly. The service is bit slow and though it's an overpriced resturant, the patience is worth as the food served is delicious and is hygienic as well. Lastly, if there is no issue of tight budget, it's a must visit place in Patna.

Beautiful Ambience, Rooftop View Is An Added Bonus. Great Place To Visit With Family/Friends. We Ordered Kadhai Paneer, Butter Nan And Hyderabadi Veg Biryani. Bit Expensive, But Quality And Quantity Both Were Excellent. Only Downside Was That They Charged Rs 50 For A 1L Mineral Water Bottle (Bailey). Still One Of The Best Restaurants Of Patna.
