Brought my other half here for his first ever bottomless brunch!! We had a fantastic night here and I would definitely return! Cocktails were coming quickly and the food was delicious! Very spicy but delicious! Our waitress Anna was lovely too! Would definitely recommend to friends ! Thank you!

Starters were very nice, had the calamari and jerk wings. 2 for 1 cocktails were very nice. Had the short stack burger which i didn’t really like and my friend had the Kingston fried chicken which she was not a fan of. However the vibe was nice and perfect for eating or drinking with friends!

Restaurant was really cold, we requested to move tables further from the door and we were told that the area we wanted was in use for training (there was 1 table in use for this) half an hour later there was multiple customers seated in this area. We were really cold during the 2 hours we were seated to the extent my friend sat with her coat on for over an hour. There was a wait between drinks, but the bar was busy and I appreciate this. The food was delicious and came very quickly after ordering. Our server Shay was very attentive making sure we had our orders placed and drinks delivered in an timely manner. The music needs to be a bit louder in my opinion, we did ask and the manager on duty turned it up which was fab... It's not a moan, more a preference. I think it just sets the Turtle Bay atmosphere a bit more. Will be back again, it's our fave place to be. Hopefully these points will be noted ☺️❤️

Super friendly staff, food was decent but did not get what I asked for, ate it anyway as didn't want to wait for them to recook. Suggest the restaurant change their water bottles as they seem very hard to clean properly, saw some mold inside at the bottom of the bottle so had to ask for a new one. Might be a hygiene risk?

Really impressed. I had the curry goat with rice and festivals. Was absolutely delicious. The lady who served me was lovely and went out of her way to deliver excellent customer service and helped me join the app. 2 drinks for £8.70 was worth it too. I definitely will be back again. Had a great lunch at turtle bay Leeds today. The food was all cooked perfectly and served hot. Food wasn't too spicy, just a nice amount of spice. Service was excellent, our server Brad was top notch. He was welcoming, friendly and listened to our questions about menu items and gave recommendations accordingly. He definitely made our lunch extra special. He is an asset to the company and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

Staff were lovely and very friendly. Our server was Darcey who couldn’t do enough for us. I miss read the menu and ordered something I don’t like (stupid I know ) and when the manager and Darcey noticed they wanted to make sure we were happy and had something else. I declined but they removed the item from our bill which was generous of them especially when it was my fault. The food my husband had was faultless and the drinks were great. Would definitely come back !

I got there right before the end of the buy 1 get 1 free drink (7pm)💃🏻💃🏻. I got 4 drinks altogether. The Shrimp 🍤 was smoking hot, spicy and delicious. It’s my second time if eating the curry but I don’t think I love it and it was not hot enough. It was a busy night there and the music was good as well. I was there yesterday 21/10/22 and I had a great time. The garlic pit prawn, spiced fries and baby back ribs were so good. I recommend!!!

Stopped in for a couple of drinks, great vibe. Came in the next day for breakfast, good food, good service. Definitely recommend, although the musics a bit lively first thing the next morning when feeling delicate it makes me feel like holiday. And because it made makes me smile, but nothing to do with this place….. I'm thinking of opening a Hawaiian-Jamaican fusion restaurant... and calling it Pokemon

Kat and phoenix provided very good service during my bottomless brunch here at turtle bay. Kat provided very good service here at turtle bay and was able to recommend excellent drinks which phoenix was then able to make. The drinks were served with excellent service and the staff here are very friendly. Kat and phoenix work very well as a team and their team work presented very effective.

Decent Carribbean style restaurant. Very fast service. The waiters/waitresses were great. A bit loud for a lunchtime meal for us. But then, the clientele seems to be mainly young people getting ready for a day/night out, and we're old. 😄

First time at Turtle Bay Leeds. Brilliant service from Brad including recommending some rums to try which were really nice. Food (vegetarian options in our case) was amazing and served really quickly. Good value made even better by the £20 birthday gift voucher my wife received from getting the app. Highly recommended.

I visit Turtle Bay whenever I fancy a bottomless brunch as I believe they have the best cocktail wise. First time visiting the Leeds branch our server (Abbie F) was amazing and was apologetic if drinks were taking their time and was so lovely and attentive. Wasn’t the fastest of branches i’ve been too but it was a Friday so we expected it to be busy. But service from Abbie was amazing and food was spot on as usual. Definitely be visiting again next time we come to Leeds.

Great place to eat. We had lunch here on Wednesday lunchtime. Staff were amazingly friendly and fun, all the food we ordered (3 starters and 2 mains) were cooked fresh, and were really nice. Well worth visiting.

I recently met with friends for afternoon tea in the bar at Dakota Hotel. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful on the phone when I was booking our table. We were really well taken care of by the amazing Vincent in the bar. He gave us a really quiet table, but didn’t forget about us. It was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to return. Oh yes, and the afternoon tea was delicious!

The well trained staff make this a stand out hotel. From friendly check in to attentive service they made our stay. Our room was very nicely decorated and felt calm and relaxing. The bed was a little soft and saggy in the middle which let the room down slightly. The bar serves great cocktails but can feel a little busy with it being by a main entrance. Overall a good hotel in a great location.

I have had the privilege and pleasure to stay at this exceptionally wonderful hotel on many occasions from the not so standard double to the premium deluxe (best in the hotel) and all room in between. Every room is immaculate and exceptionally well appointed. Super clean and well equip regardless of budget. I love the decor, which is right on trend from point of entry, the lifts, halls and of course the rooms. All staff are exceptional, Laura the duty manager, the reception staff and last but not least the valet chaps who are just very polite and kind. I love the food at the hotel and the little touches in the rooms are just great and quality. I have taken the shower product and installed it in my own house. It is quality and the staff are the best i have dealt with in my vast worldwide travels. Dakota great design, great execution but most of all a great team at Leeds are really setting you apart from other hotels in the area. 20/10 amazing and see you again very soon. We have stayed at Dakota Leeds several times now, I won’t stay anywhere else either in Leeds or Manchester. All the staff are just lovely, really go out of their way to give a first class service. The rooms are immaculate, well presented and modern. Drinks and bar are lovely and relaxing. Most of the food we’ve had also great! Will be back soon!

Good Hotel. Rooms are spacious and have a desk to work which makes it very good for business trips. It’s located in the city center. Cons, it doesn’t have a gym and they charge you 5 pounds each time you get room service. Also, the menu is not as good as the regular menu from the restaurant downstairs.

This is one of those hotels which might not come up based on a star rating based filter, the reality is people forget that start ratings mean facilities and you can have a bad heavily starred hotel. This hotel is an exceptionally good city stay hotel for business and pleasure, rooms are as good as any at this rate and if you eat in the restaurant is better than some independent restaurants at the same sort of per head cost. I would say its straight forward value for money and I would stay her again the next time we come to Leeds.

Very pleasant experience. we were welcomed by a friendly concierge,Ham, who took us through the registration process and assisted us to our rooms. The rooms are contemporary, but the bed does look a tad small. Very clean facilities with a mix of bars and restaurants over two floors. Make sure you visit the bar on the first floor. Only spent a night but will definitely repeat, it's beautifully situated and everything you need is within walking distance. An on site gym would be a huge plus.

After a previous horrible stay in the biggest suite they have, we decided to try again… Worlds apart, the reception team was super lovely, didn’t get her name, young blonde.. really took her time to ensure a memorable welcome Deluxe room, perfect layout, best beds, showers are incredible and everything just works! I recently stayed at the Dakota Hotel Leeds and was blown away by the luxurious experience. From the moment I stepped into the sleek and stylish lobby, I felt like a VIP. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a plush bed and top-notch amenities. The bathroom was particularly impressive, with a powerful rainfall shower and high-end toiletries. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel's restaurant served up delicious and beautifully presented dishes. The only downside was the limited parking options, but the hotel's valet service made up for it. Overall, I would highly recommend the Dakota Hotel Leeds for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Leeds.

I had an excellent stay at Dakota, the room was lovely. It was very close to the city centre so it was the ideal location for a city break. The food and bar service was impeccable, I was especially grateful for the service of the waitress Issy. She was extremely helpful and very friendly.

This hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to the Trinity shopping mall, nearby restaurants and Q-Park. Beautiful looking building, gorgeous scent as soon as you enter the lobby and the staff are very professional and welcoming. Easy online check-in and a decent £7.50 discount off the £25 24hr parking. The room was super clean, stylish decor and has a nice relaxing/romantic vibe. Large wall mounted TV with free Sky TV included, big open shower and although the entire hotel is very dark throughout, it's unique and works well. I would definitely stay here again and other Dakota hotels in future. 5*.

I genuinely love this hotel. The decor, the lighting, the service, basically everything. It's also very handy that they have an amazing cocktail bar, so you don't even need to out for a great evening.

Apparently the Dakota has five stars.. there's no gym, no pool and the service is good without being especially impressive. In fact during our stay we experienced what can only be described as bad or poor service. A mix up with a booking left us enjoy a complimentary drink in the lobby.. It's nicely furnished if a little bland for my tastes. The rooms are certainly clean and decorated to a high specification but overall there was nothing impressive or memorable. A couple of specifics.. everyone wants the Wifi details on arrival but there's no explanation or welcome card for this. Breakfast is finished by 10:30.. that's quite early in my view. There's a sizeable charge for a late check out. We ate in the restaurant and overall service was very good and the food was reasonable without being impressive. I had a decent enough steak with a rather limp and dejected looking salad. Overall, a smart hotel with a very central location which is clearly run to maximise profits by a shrewd business team, but with no attention to making the guest experience remarkable in any way. Luxurious, absolutely not. Functional and adequate for this "price point"- absolutely.

Faith was not only attentive but also incredibly helpful throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure that I had a wonderful dining experience each morning. We came here for Dakota's six-course tasting menu in their Grill. The hotel doesn't have a car park so the closest is Q-Park Albion Street. We paid £9 for just over 2 hours. 4 mins walk from the car park we arrived at the hotel. The grill is located in the basement underneath their bar. We were nicely greeted by its host and taken to our table. The whole restaurant felt nice and romantic. The complimentary bubbly was a nice touch. However it was a bit disappointing when the first course arrived - the Signature Venetian - NO VENETIAN? We were told it had run out? I think this shouldnt have happened to a restaurant of this class especially our tasting dinner reservation was made in advance. We moved onto the rest of our courses. The Crab Dumplings and Ox Cheek Croquette were nicely made. The Chateaubriand was also cooked to our request. But we felt the portion of chips was a bit small considering they were for two of us. The Lemon Posset was ok. For the Coffee and Caramel Sponge - the sponge was a bit too hard - feeling like having a scone, not sponge. The food overall was good but there is a bit of work to make it outstanding! Our table waiter Jayden was excellent throughout. All other staff were also very nice and friendly. Thank you.

Second and definitely not the last visit to this hotel. The Dekota is fantastic, rooms are exceptionally clean and all the team, from reception, to bar, to housekeeping, are all friendly & professional. 100% my go to hotel in Leeds, adding that extra special luxury to a night(s) away.

Went for my birthday and was super excited. For dinner we went downstairs and the ambience was beautiful, music was good. I was so excited to see King prawns on the menu thats my go to favorite dish. I ordered the kind prawns main with a side of fries. They served me a side of shrimp in a tiny ramekin. I asked the manager and he said he would go check in the kitchen as it is an obvious mistake. To my surprise he just brought back a dinner plate with the small shrimp (which is a side order) and fries were tossed onto plate. This is after I had reiterated that I ordered king prawns. I'm quite sure they chose to act oblivious to their mistake as I had mentioned it twice already.. I felt this was really condescending in a way as they chose to ignore my complaint and not even recognize the error. Customer service could be better. My boyfriend did enjoy his venison though.

had our first wedding anniversary dinner at this place and the service and food was excellent. they made us feel so special from the time we walked in until we went out. complimentary appetisers and champagne when we sat down, made sure our glass was always full always asked us how we were liking everything, and the food was divine i had this lemon caper dish with fish and the sauce was soooo soo good, my husband had the steak it was perfect. its so rare to find a dining experience in the city centre these days that is worth the money but this place was absolutely worth it.

We didn't stay in the hotel but just called in for a few drinks and a bar meal. I've been a few times and every time the atmosphere is really relaxing and the food and drinks are fabulous. I must say every time we have been there, the staff and service have impeccable. They are always polite, chatty and very attentive. A must if you want to go for some after work drinks and a bit to eat.

My stay at Dakota Hotel in Leeds was very good, with a comfortable and well-appointed room that met my expectations. However, the lack of on-site parking is a notable downside. The nearest parking option, QPark, is conveniently close, but the 15-minute journey to reach it is a minor inconvenience. Additionally, the fact that parking is chargeable adds to the overall cost of the stay. Despite the parking situation, the positive aspects of the hotel, including the quality of the room and the overall experience, contribute to a satisfactory stay.

What a gorgeous hotel. Rooms were very comfortable. The shower was amazing. For a city centre hotel, it was incredibly quiet. Lovely lighting throughout, couldn't be a better location for bars and restaurants.

Quite a fun little spicy Jamaican restaurant. Really delicious foods thou some are a bit unique. The vegetarian friendly one seemed to be a tad overcooked along with the chicken. But the staff were fantastic.

The staff was amazing and so attentive. The food was mind-blowing. It's been ages since we had such delicious and soulful food. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our palate couldn't just cope with the variety of flavours in the dishes. The best ever for cocktails. Can't fault anything. Thank you Georgia for being amazing.

First time I have tried this place and it was fantastic, was here with my parents and grabbed myself a Jamaican style burger from the menu with some seasoned fries and added some Jamaican jerk sauce which was on the table in fact there was four different kinds altogether but they were all different and also different in heat and spices so a real mix to go with the food. Staff were very friendly and nice they handled everything great. They have a very big drinks menu as well so even just going there for cocktails is very good even if you don’t want food. This was the first time I visited Turtle Bay. I absolutely love this restaurant, from the authentic food to the wide selection of drinks. I am unable to travel because of health problems but Turtle Bay brought the Caribbean to me, with the music, vibes and Goat curry. Was here with my daughter and grandaughter and ordered brunch. I liked the caribbean theme of the restaurant and looking at the menu, we were spoilt for choice The staff were so approachable that it was easy to ask about anything we were not sure about and all qeries were completely answered by our very knowledgable waitress....she is a great asset to the restaurant ! It is a bright and colourful establishment which is very popular. The toilets are a wee bit of a climb up some stairs but a very clean disabled toilet is on restaurant level and so easily accessible for wheelchair users We will definately rebook here if we are ever in York again and would not hesitate to recommend visit here !

Food was slightly too spicy for my liking- was expected tho. Good range of options especially drinks. Joseph was our server and did an amazing job, he was polite and friendly the entire time.

To start off, the interiors of the restaurant were great. It's their vibrant colours from the outside that let us choose this in the first place. About the food, there are a lot of options and cuisines on the menu. I could even see some fusion types. I chose a vegan brunch option and the taste was alright. But the fried prawns(which came with 'poori' were extremely oily and too salty. It was indeed disappointing. The squid was okay. I think the cocktails were the saviour. It was well made and there was an offer for two. The menu was rightly priced. Service was okay. But overall the taste could have been even better, given how appetizing the food looked, as you can see from the photos.

Served by Samm and he was friendly and very helpful! Food was hot and delicious! Salted caramel brownie was amazing Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.

Alex was our server, and was so great during our stay, no request was inconvenient and we felt so welcomed and looked after by all the staff. The food and drinks were also absolutely amazing. And £70 ish (£30/£40 per person) for a 2 starters, 2 mains, a side of mac and cheese, a pudding and 6 cocktails is really good value. Will definitely be returning soon with friends.

First night in York and our friendly waiter (Samm) was very kind. He helped explain the curry goat hash which was superb! He Recommended the banana cheesecake and some rum 's to complement. He was very knowledgeable and attentive, Thank you Samm for a great first evening .

We had a delicious meal here. Our servers were Arwen and Alex and they were so lovely and attentive, we couldn't have asked for better. The food was absolutely delicious, it felt so healthy even though it was so naughty. The cocktails were gorgeous, and properly made. Plus 2 4 1 which is always a bonus!

Two for one cocktails for most of the day, great music lovely surroundings and friendly staff, what’s not to like. On our last visit, we had the bottomless brunch which is great value for money. Went here whilst on holiday for my other half's birthday meal. Everything was absolutely fantastic. The food was phenomenal, served hot but the type of hot where you can still eat it. Our waiter was absolutely amazing and even gave us recommendations on what to go for when he realised we were struggling on deciding what to go for.

Celebrated two birthdays here and the staff here done a splendid job in taking care the seven of us. We had a few fussy eaters but the staff done well in listening to our needs and presenting our expectations to the fullest. The food was brilliant, I recommend going for the bruschetta as a starter. Then as for the main carbonara pizza and if your still feeling a bit peckish I’d say ice cream is the best option. Overall a great experience and I’d like to say a huge thank you to the staff here for making a joyful experience. As for it was my birthday and my friends birthday celebrated that evening.

Would recommend booking a table, got seated quite quickly and ordered up some wine, quite reasonably priced. Food was of good quality and plenty of it. Our service was spot on although a few people who arrived later had to wait a while to get served etc, short staffed in kitchen causing the problem. All in all we enjoyed the food and drink and would say worth a visit.

Not being able to eat gluten, dairy or eggs (intolerance, not vegan) I sometimes find it difficult to eat out. The waitress was very helpful, directed me to the allergens information and helped me make a safe choice. The food was beautifully presented, and very tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming. It was lovely and clean and all the staff we came across were polite and had a smile.

This is a lovely branch of the restaurant chain, in very central location in York. While the service was faultless, some of the food could be improved; we loved the cheese pizza and fried gnocchi, but the mozzarella dough balls were soggy and the pesto pasta was lacking in flavour.

An overall superb experience right from the moment we walked in. The service was prompt and extremely friendly/funny. Food was great! We we're catered for very well seeing as we had to eat gluten free food. The value for money is good as well for the amazing quality you receive.

The food and drinking were fantastic, but the service was not that good. It seems they were short on people when I came, so the ladies were in a hurry and it was hard to get their attention to order. I had the carbonara and the brownie. I forgot the name of the drink, but it was good!

Stopped for lunch and enjoyed the vegan vegetariana pizza and "pepperoni" pizza. They also do a set lunch menu which was really reasonable. The vegan pizzas were really tasty and I would 100% return! Lovely decor inside and the girls serving were really nice and friendly. Great customer service. We visited on a Friday lunch time and it was quite busy. They have lots of vegan/vegetarian options.

This was a lovely restaurant to dine in at, having a stylish setting from the lights and ceiling leaves! The frames on the wall add to this and menus are readily provided at the tables, where me and my friends were served by warm, friendly staff. I enjoyed Spaghetti and Meatballs in garlic sauce, accompanied by a sweet glass of Coca-Cola! The service was due time for a restaurant, leather seating is top notch and cleanliness had been maintained!

My partner is celiac, so finding safe places to eat can be difficult. Bella Italia York gave us no doubt on the quality and taste of the food, as well as safety when it comes to cross contamination. Everything was identified as GF, and my partner had no reaction after the meal. Our server, Isia, was amazing. Always looking after us, making sure we weren't missing anything, always available. She went above and beyond when I asked for a mock tail version of one of their cocktails and see what could be arranged.

We pre booked for 18:30 but had finished with our day early so we were seated earlier which was great. The lady who greeted us was very understanding and super friendly. We were then looked after for the rest of the evening by a gentleman there, think his name is Jake as that's on my receipt. He was so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, it was busy and you could see how rushed off his feet he was but he was friendly and smiling and laughing with everybody who he served, he brought made it such a positive atmosphere and just wanted him to know we were very grateful. Please pass on our thanks to Jake and his team as they were all brilliant. In addition to that, the food was to die for lovely meal and would deffinatly come again.

We have eaten here several times now and always have an enjoyable time. Food is always decent quality at a very reasonable price. Our sever Olivia was very charming and friendly and was very knowledgeable andd do helpful with our menu choices. We will definitely be returning soon.

Dined here while visiting family. I'm a vegetarian and had a very tasty rossoto cooked to perfection. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals .Very enjoyable experience to celebrate my grandaughter's birthday.

My sister and I came for dinner on her birthday, we hadn’t booked a table and were seated promptly. Lovely food, service was great and the staff were wonderful. We had a welcoming server who also kindly gave complimentary lemonchello at the end of our meal. Highly recommend

We were going to another restaurant that we know but it shut early so we did a quick Google search and found this place which wasn't far away. I love the decor and the atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff were very polite and friendly. The food is also very nice and I definitely agree with the great reviews.

You will not find anywhere better! Must eat at restaurant. We enjoyed our meal, the service was great and food was perfect. We ordered the sirloin and fillet steaks with cocktails. Will deffinatly be returning if we visit Doncaster again. Irena the waitress looked after us and was very attentive. Thank you Chef and staff for a lovey evening! :)

Wow!!! First visit to La Boca and cannot wait to go back. Amazing food, wonderful attentive staff who are extremely comfortable having a laugh with customers. Best restaurant I've been to in a long time. Highly recommended a visit here.

Went for my sons 19th and he absolutely loved it and so did we. Food was amazing, service was top class.

Today our skydive for Research ALK +ve got cancelled due to adverse weather. So we came here with friends & family at short notice for lunch, delicious Sunday lunch & excellent service. We regularly come as a family & brought our family from out of town & they loved it.

Had a lovely meal there. Sometime the waitresses were a little too attentive, although at first we felt important, after a couple too many visits it got a little too much. However, this is very minor. I’d rather too much service than not enough. Overall, great food. Reasonably priced for the quality and good atmosphere. 8/10

Went for an anniversary meal with my fiance. The food and drinks were amazing, so delicious! The staff were all super friendly and attentive. They even gave me and my partner a complimentary glass of prosecco for our anniversary, this was such a sweet gesture. Would absolutely recommend to everyone!

Chicken liver pate and pork belly for me. Pork belly a little over crispy on top but otherwise well cooked. Risotto di Mare for my wife, which she felt was the best seafood risotto she'd had, and she loves her risotto. Service great throughout, on it and not overbearing. Will definitely return next time we're visiting. (This wasn't a special occasion, just needed to get dinner and made a great decision).

First time visiting and wow it did not disapoint!!! We went for the Sunday lunch menu and it all came hot and was just absolutely delicious! No complaints from us, and the deserts were just as good! The staff were friendly and met our needs, the at no was peaceful and perfect for the setting! We even got a free shot when we paid, reminded me of when we were on holiday 2 years ago in Greece and they give you free shots there. I also had 2 mocktails and they were so tasty! Can't wait to come back and give the steaks a try!
