The Museo etnografico Galluras, also known as "il museo della Femina Agabbadora," is a fantastic opportunity to delve into the history and culture of Sardinia. The museum provides insight into the local traditions and beliefs, particularly those surrounding the figure of the Femina Agabbadora. This experience offers a unique perspective on both Sardinian culture and the human psyche, making it highly recommended for anyone interested in anthropology or history.
Excellent museum if you enjoy off the beaten track things ! Very authentic and approachable… You do need to contact in advanced though ! Worth it.

(Translated by Google) To say it's inspiring is an understatement. This ethnographic museum shows, with an uncommon wealth of details, the uses, habits and lifestyle of a community that tells the roots of a part of Sardinian history and beyond, as within it we go to deeply intertwine the historical evolution of our country. In addition to the very interesting focus on the Accabadora female, aided by finds that not only make the narrative more alive, but which leave room for a reflection on the mentality of a population, which in some respects seems to be a forerunner of still extremely current questions on the end of life, we then find objects of enormous interest for the reconstruction and immersion in what was the life of this community. Absolutely worth visiting.

(Translated by Google) A very suggestive museum, full of Gallura traditions. The building was an old two-storey carabinieri barracks with many objects and testimonies from the 1st and 2nd World War. The room of the Femina Agabbadora is truly beautiful with many objects and clothes from the times. The museum tour guide was very kind and detailed. At the end of the journey you can leave signatures and comments on this beautiful experience. We highly recommend this visit.

Spargi

Island
Nature & Parks
Spargi island is a charming and uninhabited place that can only be reached by boat. It boasts picturesque sandy beaches which are ideal for swimming. Visitors often spend their time relaxing on the small, paradise-like beaches, enjoying the serenity of the surroundings with very few people around. This idyllic location is perfect for those who seek seclusion and tranquility amidst beautiful natural scenery.
Spargo is an island of the Maddalena archipelago, in northeastern Sardinia. It is the third largest island in the archipelago, after Maddalena and Caprera. Spargi is known for its beautiful beaches, clear waters, and its unspoiled natural beauty. The main beach on Spargi is Cala Corsara, which is a stunning cove with white sand and clear turquoise waters. There are also a number of other beautiful beaches on the island, including Cala Lunga, Cala Granara, and Cala Santa Maria. On the island you are able to see wild animals. I really recommend this place, it's amazing to rest and swim.

Isola Spargi is part of the Maddalena archipelago, north of Sardinia. Its located in the Strait of Bonifacio, between Corsica and Sardinia. The sea and the beaches are a real paradise. As being an uninhabited island and within the Maddalena National Park, its wild nature is what attracts the majority of people. You can reach the island by private boat or organised boat trips. You cant dock on the coast but only anchor distant from the coast. the water is crystal clear and a big variety of fishes. Remember in the weekends many boats and people visit this island

(Translated by Google) Very pretty island, visited with an organized excursion which allowed us to stay there for a few hours and take a nice dip in those beautiful waters. If you expect to find who knows what such as equipped beaches or similar then you will be severely disappointed, the beauty of the place is precisely the uncontaminated nature.

An extraordinary series of islands located between the Sardegnean mainland and Corsica with stunning blue water and beautiful beaches. These gems are a little hard to find if you don't have access to a boat but well worth the trip if you can make it! A wonderful place.

Extremely clear and turquoise water. It's good to rent a pneumatic boat alone around 270 euros / day in August. From Palau you can walk about an hour to the interesting beaches and the pool area

A lovely variety of islands and beaches to be enjoyed. Make sure you hire a car tho, you would be pretty lost without one and the weather, when we visited, would have made for challenging bike riding.

Spiaggia di Talmone

Mentioned on
Beach
Outdoor Activities
Spiaggia di Talmone is a stunning beach nestled amongst rock formations, accessible via a narrow path through the bushes and rocks. It offers a sense of privacy before 8am, but begins to attract visitors around 9am. Parking can be challenging as there is no designated lot; only street parking available. It's recommended to wear hiking shoes or sneakers instead of flip flops due to the terrain. Early morning presents an intimate opportunity to enjoy this natural wonder.
Parked in the roundabout for free. It was full of cars during October Half-term (about 10 cars) but the beaches are made of little coves so u can still get a spot on your own. The path to the beach is very narrow and not for people with mobility issues. Possible to do it with kids, just slowly. If you have kids, be aware It's Italy so many women tan topless and we even saw a naked old man...
MuslimFamilyTravel (Muslim Family Travel) — Google review
For me the most beautiful beach in this area, not crowded, and it has a lot of different fish. You need to walk about 10-15 minutes, but worth it.
Lisa Qiu — Google review
Perfect for snorkeling. Take some Baguette with you the fish love it
Robert — Google review
Beautiful beach enclosed with rock formations, 10-15 minutes walk from the roundabout at the end of the road via tiny path through the bushes and rocks, but very worth it! Quite private before 8-8.30 am, around 9 am people start arriving. Parking could be a challenge if you come late, there is no parking lot, only on the side of the road. Hiking shoes or sneakers certainly a preference over flip flops. Early morning feels very intimate, having this wild pearl all to yourself.
