Tokyo Disney Resort is conveniently located near the famous Meiji Shrine and Yoyogi Park, where visitors can enjoy picnics on the vast lawns, especially during cherry blossom season. Tokyo DisneySea features its own original characters, including the beloved Duffy bear and his friends, with exclusive merchandise available at various shops throughout the park.
Went very early to try to get the bypass for the most popular attractions, also going very early in the morning will allow you to visit one or two popular attractions without bypass before it gets crowded. Also, I was lucky to get admitted to meet Mickey in his home. The Disney app is essential to utilize your time much better and visit as many attractions as possible. By all means the electric parade shouldn’t be missed. Breath taking carnival of flights fracturing Disney’s most classic heroes. Then, at 8 pm the fireworks near the Cinderella castle are amazing, even if it lasted for 5 minutes only.

Incredible experience, we went in Dec for Christmas time, just AWESOME!!!! Disney staff were super nice and friendly and they were always there for questions or directions. Rides were a bit fast with lines reaching 85min, but still great experience. A bit of an issue with the Disney app, wouldn't connect to register for shows or food reservations, dissatisfied with the app. You have to be on site to reserve anything as well! Food everywhere we went was great and staff again were awesome!!! Such an awesome experience for our family and my wife's birthday!

Awesome Experience. Be patient as there are long waiting times. Bring money as there is a lot of purchasing to do for yours loved ones back home and finally wear some comfy shoes as this place is really freaking huge.

Disney sea. It's a really nice park. The only think what I didn't like was the payed fast pass. It really destroys the park image. The more money you spend the more attractions you can take. Example is Nemo. The line was mixed 50/50. So we spend 1.5 hours to access and the fast pass riders 30 minutes. Also it felt that they keep the line long so people start to buy these tickets. But beside that. The park has amazing rides.
julien mijnen — Google review
Tokyo DisneySea was outstanding. Yes there are plenty of lines to queue up in, but lines moved efficiently, and everyone was respectful. Did go on a Friday, so it was busier then had I gone earlier in the week. The varieties of food and snack options available along make it worthwhile (I could easily have made a day out of just trying all the buns and popcorn flavours), but including the shows and rides made this such a memorable experience!

My recent visit to Tokyo Disneyland during the New Year was nothing short of magical. The park, adorned with festive decorations, truly captured the spirit of the season, making it a perfect destination to ring in the New Year. One of the most remarkable aspects of Tokyo Disneyland is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every staff member I encountered was not only friendly but also went out of their way to ensure that each guest had a memorable experience. Their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction is commendable and added significantly to the overall enjoyment of my visit. The New Year celebrations at Tokyo Disneyland are a unique blend of traditional Japanese customs and Disney magic. The special events and shows put together for the occasion were fantastic, with vibrant performances and stunning fireworks that lit up the night sky, creating an enchanting atmosphere. Additionally, the rides and attractions were as enjoyable as ever, with each one meticulously maintained and operated. The cleanliness and organization throughout the park were impressive, even with the large holiday crowds. The variety and quality of food available were also noteworthy, with a range of options catering to different tastes and preferences. Overall, Tokyo Disneyland during the New Year is an experience I would highly recommend. The combination of friendly staff, festive atmosphere, thrilling rides, and cultural celebrations makes it a must-visit destination.

A really quick visit with almost no preparation in advance, just buying the tickets and making a lunch reservation. We didn't ride on many attractions but the ones with a short wait time were fun for us. You definitely need to come prepared if you wish to ride the popular attractions, as those can have a wait of half an hour or more at all times.

It's Disney, but in Japan. An amazing little faux town that is a spectacle in itself. The rides and are mostly oriented towards children but I still found everything charming and enjoyable. Tower of Terror is rather intense.
Thomas Lawler — Google review
Amazing staff, not expensive compared to US parks. Good food, not for those who aren’t a bit adventurous. For American style food you have to look. They serve beer! The notices for wait time very accurate. The staff are amazing helpful and speak enough English to make it work.
Doug Rose — Google review
Plenty to do at Tokyo Disney Resort. If you've been to other Disney parks then this one won't hold too many surprises however it'll still be a good time. Staff here are all very friendly and approachable. The wait time for the lines weren't too bad and you can cut out some of the wait time using the app.
Min Soo Kim — Google review
Very busy due to Halloween season but very enjoyable. Line waits were over 60 minutes but we didn't mind as the rides made it worth it and obviously expect it at theme parks. We got the headbands which you can buy all over the park.. queues for food/snacks can be long as well but again expected.
Sharna Thomas — Google review
Great park! Amazing rides! Everything is very well kept and clean. The only weird thing is the girls taking pictures of their bears. They bring dozens of stuffed animals and keep taking pictures of them.....
Jorge Kupfer — Google review
You will wait in line for everything (rides, the washroom, restaurants, but they keep you moving, so it isn't super boring. The Disney attractions are for older Disney movies (Lilo & Stitch, Peter Pan, Toon Town), so these may make it more fun for adults than kids. Download the Disney Tokyo app. It's a life safer and is quite accurate on the wait times for rides. Also, restaurants are able to accommodate dietary restrictions, just ask for their special menu and they bring you a tablet that will show you what's safe after you enter your restrictions. Cross contamination is possible though.
Holly LaJambe — Google review
Incredible service, especially considering the language barrier. The park was meticulously maintained, and the attractions were great. Beauty & the Beast was well worth the wait. One of the most advanced rides I've been on. Great variety of food and merchandise, and the way that they handle the number of people who visit this park is truly amazing.
Danny Vardanega — Google review
Such a great time. The Beautiful and Beast ride was amazing. Truly love going here and it wasn't very busy so the ability to ride different attractions repeatedly was great!!
Tyler Furman — Google review
I have only been to the parks now (July 2022) so I didn't experience much from the resort overall. But the environment of the whole place is always amazing and magical. The monorail is definitely worth a ride, even if you don't necessarily need it. And when you do it, I recommend going all the way to the front of the train to check on the view and the fact that there is no conductor in sight. It's really cool!! Also, if you have time, go visit the Disney hotels lobby areas. They are beautiful!!! (I did it last time I was around)

Happiest place on earth! Friends recommended this place since it's one of a kind and they were true. Went here last weekend. It was jam-packed! Ride queues were long but some attractions have faster queue. I tried only a few rides since there were lots of visitors. Even the vendo has a queue! 🤣 Great thing, women's restrooms were not full and toilets are all around the vicinity. Sadly, our visit to the "journey to the center of the earth" with 180 minutes waiting time is unsuccessful because after a few minutes of waiting in the line, the staff told us to leave because of the down system. 😭 It was one of the rides I'm excited about... Anyway, i spent a great time here with friends. I feel like a child again. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful moment.

What more can I say.. Its just a happy place. Come as early as you can and explore the magical world of Disney sea. I came at 12pm and only can explore 2/3 of the place. Don't worry of closing time rush, they managed it very well. No bottleneck whatsoever.
Tjhin Allfreed — Google review
Disney Japan is overall a good experience. I found the guests in their costumes to be extremely entertaining as they put a lot of effort to look like their favorite characters. The park itself is pretty small so it feels extra crowded with very long lines for rides. This makes it very hard to see and ride all attractions in one day even though the park is that small.

My favorite Disney park so far! A beautiful clean park for all ages. The staff at this park are the best Disney staff in all the parks I have been too. Get your tickets in advance, especially during the busy season. And the early entry into the park is really helpful for booking shows and getting reserve seats for parades.
Christina De La Pena — Google review
What a beautiful theme park! What a masterpiece. Love the detail in the theming and the newest rides are amazing! Splash Mountain ist mind blowing and the beauty and the beast ride system is awesome! There are a lot of restrooms inside the park, and many places to buy food. You can buy drinks starting from 200¥. We’re unhappy that Winnie the Pooh and Big thunder Mountain is in planed maintenance. But maybe at our next visit we can try these rides. But Overall a fantastic amusement park!

The whole areas were very huge and you could feel fun and positive vibes around there. Eventhough I visited when it was raining, the whole experiences was quite memorable for me. They have many indoor activities so don't worry even if it's raining. Please buy ticket in advance and don't forget to install their application so that you can get information about waiting time, important locations, etc. And also, you have to wait for their final show at around 7pm, it was really great and well prepared.
Sharron Sharron — Google review
The day I go, there's too many people, making the Disney magic and charm less appealing. My recommendation is to download the Disney application and register your ticket prior to visiting for convenience. You can book many activities such as attraction, character greetings, and restaurants via this app but beware there may be a queue to access the website. Ask for a sticker from the staff for your first visit or birthday.

We have been to all the parks with the exception of the ones in China. The two parks in Tokyo are amazing. The rides and detail of the animatronics are probably the best out of all the parks. The lines are typical Disney for the rides and if you want the best experience you will need to take advantage of the buy per ride passes and fast passes at rope drop. We were able to ride all the major rides. The only issue is the food. The food lines for popcorn are insane, they have a variety of different types but be prepared to wait 30 minutes or more for snacks. In Disney Sea we only found 1 vending machine for drinks which seemed weird since they are literally every block in most Japanese cities. The merchandise was also very lacking for clothing and what is typical at other Disney Parks. The Disney stores in city areas have a much better selection of typical Disney type merchandise. Do not wait until the end of the day to buy merchandise. The local people all do this, and it causes huge lines before park close.
Chris — Google review
The staff are great. The prices are reasonable, especially for a Disney park. It’s clean and well maintained. Bit disappointing how several major rides were shut for maintenance during such a busy season. Be sure to check what rides are operating before you book your tickets. Also, our day at Disney Sea was a bit of a let down due to weather, which isn’t controllable by Disney staff, however, it would be a nice gesture to be given a little something on days like that seen as for a good couple of hours, you’re unable to experience more than half the park. Just an idea.

No matter kids or adult will be amazed by Tokyo Disneyland. However, it's super crowded during weekends with huge local Japanese youngsters and family to enjoy the park, hence have to be patient in queue and no one complaining about the long queue. Suggest to immediate link your tickets and family in the Disney resort App and buy DPA pass as soon as you enter the park especially for Beauty and the Beast. Overall, food also nice for all in the park. Really enjoyed.
Kai Yip Thong — Google review
I am not a fan of Disney. Only went because wife and sons wanted to go. Extremely crowded 😫. Average wait times 1 and a half hours. The only thing that was nice was the weather. Not Extremely hot like in Orlando.

I love visiting Tokyo Disneyland; it always looking forward my visit at Disneyland. The park features different themes for various seasons, and we were fortunate to experience Winnie Funderland on the last day of the season period. It was enjoyable and fascinating to watch the parade show.

Such a good place to visit. You might not understand what the park is talking about because they used Japanese language. Score for this park is 98 out of 100. I remember we can have a wedding in this place. Sandra Dewi has done it here. So many student going to Disney Land at that moment.

Disney Parks & Activities
Tokyo Disneyland is a popular theme park featuring thrilling rides, live entertainment, and beloved characters. In addition to the park, visitors can explore nearby attractions such as the Tsukiji and Toyosu fish markets and Odaiba, an artificial island with various activities including shopping malls and the famous Gundam Statue. One of the standout rides at Tokyo Disneyland is a unique take on the Indiana Jones adventure, offering a similar exhilarating experience with some new twists in its storyline and show elements.
Wonderful! Even though It was rainy Sunday, there were full of stories and magical sighting seeings! Not so long waiting time for each attraction. Food from Chinese restaurant, named by China voyager, so quite good. Many of staff were welcoming and nice enough to enjoy all. No English voice guide, but it was easy to fully involved into with very well known Disney’s stories.

I went as a solo traveler and have never been to any Disney Park previously, so my experience is very unbiased and tailored towards other solo travelers as the experience would definitely be different with family and/or friends. The atmosphere and park layout were great! The queues weren't too long, granted I did go on a Tuesday. There are plenty of water fountains and vending machines around if you get thirsty, as well as many food places too. The rides (as a solo adult male) were only okay in my opinion though. There was really only one or two exciting rides and they were average. My favourite ride was surprisingly the Star Wars one, that had you immersed even in the queue and the mini space experience was memorable. The staff are probably the friendliest staff I have ever encounter in my life. Every single one of them were enthusiastic and smiling constantly. The price was more than reasonable for entry to the park, as well as the cost of food and vending machines. As a solo traveler, I give it 4 stars thanks to the excellent effort of the staff and the atmosphere they've created, as well as the value of cost. It loses 1 star due to the lack of any exciting or memorable rides. All of that being said, this park seems like a fantastic place to take your kids. There looked to be a ton of rides for children, which I guess is who the park is aimed at.

We went in late March when it was raining a lot and the park doesn't provide much cover when getting around. I also got there around 7am on a Friday and it was already very busy even with the rain. The rides where fantastic and the food was delicious though so it made up for it. It's really easy to get to by train and all the staff were so nice and helpful, it really made the experience more enjoyable.

It's Tokyo Disneyland what more is there to say! Great atmosphere and entertainment for the entire family. You will feel like a kid inside and have a blast. Experience the nostalgia of seeing familiar themes and characters. Things to be mindful of, check the schedule for events at such as the light show or fireworks. Look for updates of rides or themes that may be down due maintenance or renovations. Depending on the time of year bring blankets, umbrellas or a pair of sunglasses. Express passes are available for purchase for those who want to experience more of the theme park at a more reasonable time. (If you have electronic media devices I advise using them while you are waiting line, or have a friendly conversation with those around you who also came to visit, there are likely just as friendly and excited to be there. People from all around the world visit this theme park!) Parking is fair and decent considering that most people use the public railways to reach the theme park. So vehicle traffic is actually quite minimal at least when I visited on a Tuesday 😅) Food at the theme park is decent nothing ground breaking but satisfying. The souvenir shops are one of the best places to visit. Budget accordingly and have a great time with either your friends or family. Take pictures and save memories that will last. You will enjoy your visit *Guaranteed 😊 (in my opinion)

Tokyo Disneyland exceeded all expectations! The attractions were a blast, delivering thrills and excitement. The shows were enchanting, adding a magical touch to our visit. The diverse array of delicious foods satisfied every craving. Impeccable organization and friendly staff made our experience truly unforgettable. A five-star destination for all ages!

A fun attraction that is a must do if in Tokyo. The lines were not very long during this time of year but was still fairly busy. Small theme park compared to the states, but still worth the visit. If you stay at the resort hotels, it is easy to get to and from the parks with the monorail system, very convenient. It is also easily accessible via train if staying off site. Lots of places to eat.

(reviewed based on my experience visiting when the borders were still closed for tourists in august 2023) if there's a chance, i highly recommend experiencing Disneyland as a solo traveler. while it may be challenging to capture pictures of yourself, even with a tripod, amidst the crowds, the perks include faster access to some of the rides, which is incredible. thanks to their app, which provides real-time waiting times and ride notices (for instance, the Beauty and the Beast ride had maintenance for about 1.5 hours before reopening), I was able to manage riding almost all of them. bought my ticket at around 9,800yen and it think it's worth it.

This is such an amazing amusement park! It's a beautiful place, delicious food, friendly staff, etc. It's a great place for all ages. The park itself looks beautiful and there are so many things to do and this park is also very clean and efficient. Some days there are too many people, causing delays in playing the rides but every ride is really fun from children's rides to thrilling rides.

I spent the time travelling with my friend at Tokyo Disneyland in winter in october 2017. The services here were so excellently. there was a theme park map that described the landmarks, amusement park rides, restaurants, toilets, etc. that were very easy to understand. Or if you had some questions, you could ask the staff in every amusement park ride. For the cleanliness, It was very clean because there were bins in every area. That’s nice and comfortable!. The thing that made this place special was the tourists could wear the costume or accessories to match this place. It felt approachable and enjoyable to this amusement park. Of all of them, this place was one of my favourite amusement parks.

Amazing place that is worth the long flight from wherever in the world you've come from. You have to buy tickets online then scan your QR code at the gate. Can get very busy and some rides were up to 90 mins wait. Takes a while to get food as well. However the staff are brilliant and you name it, they've thought of it. The place will well exceed your expectations and is literally the happiest place on earth. Enjoy.

Super enjoyable theme park, different spin on the classic Disney encountered in the us but very fun and exciting. Very impressed with the new beauty and the beast ride, such great decor and generally a fun experience. We used the priority pass a few times, which made waiting for the big queues very manageable but it was a little on the expensive side for it to be charged as a per person per ride cost. The park was very quiet on the weekday versus the weekend, almost a night and day difference. Overall, a great Disney park.

No matter how early you come, there will be a line to do something. The entry line was something I have not experienced since Aftershock Festival in Sacramento. After security it is pretty much smooth sailing through ticket check. Then you are at the mercy of the queues for rides. Food is good, popcorn is better. There is beer available and plenty of souvenirs. Rated a four due to length of queues for rides.
LoadedRidley — Google review
It was a great experience for sure! The line going in was long which is to be expected for any Disney park you go to in the world. The food was reasonably priced and very good! I suggest bringing your own food if you can. The train is the best option to get there! Tickets are not easy to buy online but try to buy the day of, that works for me.

I only wanted to visit to experience the Beauty and The Beast ride. We queued for 3.5+ hours, which almost broke me (on tired and swollen ankles from flying), with no places to sit/rest in the queue. The ride itself is a solid 5 magical stars, and I become quite emotional in the ballroom at the end as it was so enchanting. Didn't want to do anything else as the queues were endless - even for popcorn. Grabbed some food and some gifts and left.

Went during the 2023 40th anniversary event. The experience was as magical as ever! Thanks to some rain and rides shutdown/resuming operations we were able to get on all the major rides! The staff were as enthusiastic and attentive as ever and the new app worked pretty well, albeit slightly slow.

It was amazing to finally get to go to a Disney park as I had never been before. While it was all pretty magical, it was chaotic in terms of how many people were there with up to 2 hours waiting for any of the non-reserved restaurants (with the reserved ones being booked well before the day). Not a lot of choice for Mickey Ears, but every type you could imagine for Minnie. Didn't go on any rides, even with priority access there was over an hour wait per ride in the harsh sun. Snack foods from the stalls we lined up at were super cute and tasty!
K M — Google review
Such an amazing place! Everyone is very friendly and the park is extremely clean. We arrived 45 minutes before they opened and we rode every major ride and were done by around 3. You could spend more time but we felt like we saw everything.

Amazing Day at Tokyo Disneyland... I love every moment at here. So nice made me turn to kids again by Disney world. I like beauty and the beast so much. If u don't want to wait the long queue, u can buy fast pass. Don't forget to try ice-cream at here. The parade is the best. There are so much souvenirs and so cute.
Lelee Huang — Google review
Prepare to wait in line for pretty much everything 😅 Plus, all the parades and the fireworks were cancelled due to the weather. However, I can understand this because it was a pretty windy day. I do feel like they let way too many people in. It ruins the fun especially as you pay a lot to get in just to spend half the day waiting in line. I highly recommend booking restaurants, attractions and anything else you can reserve!
Kathryn S. — Google review
Incredible place! Make sure you get there up to and hour before opening as everyone is queuing before. Once the queue gets going it’s quick. Secondly be prepared to buy fast passes unless you want to wait 100-200 minutes to get on a ride. The was passes were 1500 yen per person per ride. You need to do this as soon as you get in the park. There is also a time delay until you can buy another one. At the time we went there was some 40 year priority pass which was free to book per ride but had a 120 minute wait before you could book another one. Between those two things we managed to book 4 main rides whilst waiting for the smaller less busy rides 30-40 minute waits. If you don’t do that you will wait the 100-200 minutes as from the first minute it opens until close the times do not change much.

it's a magical wonderland that deserves every bit of its five-star rating! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 From the moment we stepped foot into the park, we were transported to a world of enchantment and excitement. The attention to detail, the vibrant colors, and the whimsical atmosphere made us feel like we were living in a fairytale. But it wasn't just about the rides and attractions – although they were absolutely incredible. It was the smiles on everyone's faces, the laughter echoing through the streets, and the sense of pure joy that filled the air. It's the kind of place where you can't help but feel like a kid again, no matter how old you are. And let's not forget about the food! From delicious Mickey-shaped treats to mouthwatering snacks from around the world, every bite was a culinary adventure in itself. Overall, Tokyo Disney exceeded all our expectations and then some. It's a place where dreams come true, memories are made, and the magic never fades. If you ever find yourself in Tokyo, do yourself a favor and experience the wonder of Tokyo Disney – you won't regret it! 🏰✨

Tokyo Disneyland is a fantastic destination, especially during New Year's. Despite its close proximity (just 90 minutes from home), we opted to visit early and stay until night, creating a magical experience. The park was bustling with crowds, and we had to utilize lockers (900 yen/24hrs) for our large bags located a bit far from the main entrance. With a 5-year-old in tow, navigating the various attractions proved challenging due to varying wait times (ranging from 180 to 30 minutes). Despite this, the evening electrical parade left us with unforgettable memories. Tokyo Disneyland is a must-visit, offering a unique and enchanting experience for families.
designerdas — Google review
It’s a great Disney park with loads to do. With the 40th anniversary fast passes, I managed to do 10 rides. The wait times were usually pretty okay and most restaurants weren’t as busy so you had no wait. The one thing that bothered me was the opening time. It’s advertised to open at 8am, by 8:45am thousands of people were cramped between security screening and entry gates. No communication what’s happening until suddenly the tv screens show they open at 9am, however at the same time, the gates open on the west side and visitors are let through, while the people waiting on the east gates had to wait until 9am.
Tata — Google review
Cute, fun place for all ages but definitely has more appeals for couples and families. The app is actually pretty good as it shows live wait times at each ride and location of each ride/show. Also let's you book in timed entries and pay for premier/express access. The popular rides have long wait times throughout the day, so it may be worth paying for premier access (around 1500 yen per ride) if you're keen to save time. Not the place to come for rollercoasters, but perfect if you enjoy seeing the characters and themed areas.

Tokyo DisneySea is a unique and captivating theme park located at the Tokyo Disney Resort. Opened in 2001, it boasts a nautical theme with seven distinct areas or "ports of call," each featuring rides, attractions, and entertainment based on beloved Disney characters and stories. Unlike other Disney parks, this one offers a more adult-oriented experience with its themed ports inspired by real places and ocean legends.
It’s an awesome amusement park and is really big as well. There are many fun attractions for all ages. I suggest booking a ticket in advance as there are limits to how many people can enter Disney sea because of the Covid-19 pandemic. I wasn’t able to ride some rides because I couldn’t get the standby passes in time, but it was still very fun and enjoyable.

It’s so beautiful! The monorail is not free and you must have yen. We were able to walk from our hotel anyway. The park is gorgeous. Before opening the crowds were very large, but by 1pm people were able to walk straight into the park. The lines are 30-90 minutes as we expected but there are 40th anniversary passes you can use like fast passes for some rides for free or you can pay to bypass specific lines. We just loved walking around. The shops are not as luxurious as the shops in Orlando.

The best!! Our second visit and just as impressive as the first time. DisneySea has lots of rides but every single thing in the park is themed so even when not on the rides there is a lot to see and do! Use the app to book your fast pass options, it’s well worth it. The app also shows current wait times for each ride. We went on a Wednesday and could tell it wasn’t too busy compared to what it can be, but it was still really great to not have to queue. There was a wonderful firework/lights show at 7:30pm, so worth staying for that. You can spend the whole day here easily, it’s an awesome park!

It was my first time here, and I was especially impressed by the Soarin' and fireworks. The show was held on a large scale, and I wanted to see it properly, but there was also the option of riding a ride during that time if there was free time. I had a great time with my friends!

DisneySea in Japan - A Magical Journey into Fairy Tale World DisneySea in Japan is not just an amusement park, it's a magical journey into the world of fairy tales and unforgettable adventures. My experience here felt like stepping into a vibrant, enchanting realm. One striking aspect of DisneySea is its vastness. The park is uniquely designed with themed areas inspired by destinations worldwide, from Venice to New York, from Atlantis to Arabia. Every corner, every detail is meticulously crafted, creating a lively and captivating space. A tip I'd like to share is about shopping at DisneySea. If you're looking to buy decorative items like hats or headbands, I recommend purchasing them before entering the park. Prices at the shops inside the park are often higher, and the selection may not be as extensive. Moreover, if you want to save time and money, avoid buying right at the entrance area and explore shops deeper inside the park where you'll find more choices at reasonable prices. DisneySea isn't just for kids; it's a delightful destination for families and adults alike. The shows, fireworks, and entertainment options will keep you enchanted from morning till night. Don't forget to indulge in the delicious and diverse cuisine from around the world at the park's restaurants and cafes.

We went there on the weekend and it was not crowded at all. We really enjoyed the time there. It was a magical place and we loved every moment 😍 Thank you all the staff for making my birthday special ✨ I love to visit again once the new zone opens this year. Can’t wait 🪄

An awesome amusement park! Disney application provides arrangement for entrance of popular attractions. Foods and snacks were good and had so fun features. Disney Sea includes some waterside parade and water-attractions. So different experience. FYI, due to Covid, it has limited number of visitors a day.

For me, this is the best Disney Park in the world. It is so different from any other Disney Park that I have visited (Florida/Paris/Shanghai). We visited in December between Christmas and New Year on a week day and found the park to be busy. We arrived early but ride lines exceeded 2 hours for some attractions and stayed at around 60-90 minutes through out the day for Tower of Terror, Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Soarin and Toy Story. The park is great for rides. My personal favourites are Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Indiana Jones and the Tokyo version of Tower of Terror which tells a totally different story to the other versions. Food is generally quite cheap and there is a good selection throughout the park. The evening show on the lake gets very busy so if you want a good spot, you will need to find it at least an hour before. It is also worth noting that the traditional fast pass system is no longer in operation at either of the Tokyo Parks with a new pay-per-ride system on the app. You can only activate this part of the app once you are inside the park. A fast pass will cost between 1,500 and 2,000 yen per person depending on the attraction. But could save you up to 3 hours in some cases on busy days.

The staff was friendly and efficient. We ate lunch and dinner. Some of the restaurants only accept reservations and those fill up quickly so be forewarned. My favorite ride was Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom ride. The wait times for the most popular rides topped out at 120 minutes. That's insane. So we found other rides. The longest wait time in line we could tolerate was 60 minutes.

An absolutely magical day of experience. At a little over 8000 yen per ticket for an entire day of fun, it is worth the price over and over again. Each themed area is beautifully crafted and full of photo zones. The rides are fun (although not as exciting or intense for thrill seekers), plenty of affordable food options and cheerful staff will make this a day to remember. The night show, Believe! Sea of Dreams, alone makes this visit a success. It was a touching performance and yes, you should set up camp about an hour before the show to get a good viewing spot. I truly believe this is one of the very best theme parks in the world. Please be sure to set a day aside for it!

The rides at Tokyo Disney Sea are on a whole other level. They are not only fun and thrilling but tell a story so beautifully. The areas where you are waiting in line have an insane amount of detail and thought to them. It makes the long wait times not as bad. I did go on a weekday off season (spring) and the wait times were about 15 minutes to 1 hour per ride. We did use the app to keep track of wait times too and it really helped. The interactive photos/videos and projections before the rides were so magical. We also visited when it was their 40th anniversary so they had a nice show. Their fireworks/light show at the end was also a must see. We bought tickets to be able to sit closer to the front as well which I think was worth it.

It's a great place for enjoyment and to bring back the kids in you. Before visiting, get a good idea about the place and rides so that you can move fast and cover most places. You can download the official app, which will help you move around easily. Try to arrive early, before the gate opens. We visited on Monday, and even then, we had to wait 80 to 140 minutes to enter each ride. If you can purchase the premier access pass or fast pass, then you can access the rides pretty quickly, but it's expensive. Don't forget to enjoy the evening light show and fireworks.

This theme park is just so beautiful and awesome! I arrived around 12 and didn't manage to get the entry for attractions that require entry request but I still enjoyed my visit a lot. Magic Lamp Theatre in Arabian Coast is a live magic show combined with 3d film, it's is so amusing, I like! I rode Jumpin' Jellyfish, visited Ariel Playground, etc. I didn't ride the scary roller coasters, so I'd like to visit again. Oh yes, I enjoyed the gondola ride so much.

The park was really interesting and we really enjoyed ourselves. I was on the fence about going, but I'm glad we went. They have some unique rides that the other Disney Parks don't have. Their "castle" is really amazing to look at. My concern was the wait times. We went during low tourism and even then, the wait times were all over an hour for each ride. Fast Passes were not in service. That said, we were able to ride almost everything we wanted. The only one we unfortunately had to miss was Toy Story as it had a 2 hour wait time. For vegetarians visiting, they had a few options for food. I recommend the vegetarian curry in the Aladdin area. I read this place was geared more towards adults than children. I disagree with that. There is plenty to do for all ages, and there are many rides specifically for little ones.

It was a great experience. An umbrella for shade during the summer months would be good. I came with my teenagers who like the big rides, these can be done in one day. We did 2 days but wish we had done 1 day. The park is very well attended, clean and friendly. Plenty of food to choose from, highly recommend checking the snack shacks as they each have a different snack which were good. They gave thought to most lines being in the shade. Indoor kid area to cool off in the summer months. The rail was simple to use and get to the park. Buying the park tickets from the US is not easy to do. I wasn’t able to buy from the Disney site but buying from klook worked perfect!

DisneySea offers a brand new park to enjoy that unique to only Japan. The theme here is very western Europe based. The ride selection isn't extensive but has enough to keep you occupied for most of the day. The food choices are plentiful so you can really spend the day munching away on some awesome cuisine options.

Oh boy, what can I say about Tokyo DisneySea that hasn't been said. I wouldn't consider myself a huge Disney fan by any means, but I think that's why it's easier to enjoy DisneySea. The park doesn't constantly throw Disney reference at you! You get to experience how amazing the immersion of Disney does without the random reference to throw you off. I went here with my significant other plus two friends, and we had a great time. The park does have an app that allows for fast tracking your way to certain rides, but on the day that I went, we actually didn't have to wait that long for any rides. The food was delicious. We had gotten food at two restaurants and hit up many snacks stands for popcorn and churros. I would recommend the curry and garlic shrimp flavor popcorn for savory lovers out there! They have many gift shops with tons of unique designs and merchandise to buy. It's currently the 40-year anniversary, so they have a ton of items revolving around that. There's loads of things to do, we came to the park almost when they opened and left after the fireworks and still didn't see the entire park! The entire park wasn't crowded until the end when we started to buy merchandise. I would recommend going earlier for those if you want to grab things because it'll be like sardines in a can in every shop! The shows and attractions are spoken in Japanese, but they do have a few lore and story bits written in English sprinkled throughout the park. Overall amazing experience, and I would definitely go again.

Happiest place on earth! Disney just got it right here! So much detail in every corner! The rides aren’t the most hair raising or scary but they are done very very well. The food is great and the atmosphere is so very Disney. It’s only downside as with pretty much everything in Japan are the line ups to the rides. You can help that but getting various fast pass type tickets at an extra cost. Overall….Well done Disney👌👌

Don't waste your money and time for queue if you are thinking of visiting this place during Japan holidays or peak season. You are just eventually paying tickets to queue. Go back sleep better. Their staffs were all fake smiling like wear a mask. All the rides are not thrilling at all. We are so disappointed and not worth the waited, these ride feels like they are mainly catered for kids, cannot be compare to universal studio rides.

Yeah it's different but in a good way. Some rides not really Disney orientated and leans more to Jules Vern world. Which is a good change up. More a nod to Europe in styling. Again food here is great. Tastes good and presented well. Queues are organised and move quickly. Added bonus is a proper tower of terror.

Loved it. We received a warm welcome at every turn and I received wonderful customer service at the grill restaurant near Raging Spirits ride. I was alone with a toddler that needed to use the restroom right after getting all of our food. I found a staff member and he assured me he’d stay at our table to make sure our food wouldn’t be cleaned up — such a lifesaver! Enjoyed the look and feel of the park. Kinda strange to be in Italy in Japan but kinda see the connection of the sea theme? Was super pleased with our entire day — it wasn’t too crowded and we were leisurely able to fit in a handful of rides, eat some wonderful snacks including curry popcorn and a mango churro sundae dessert (both of which I highly recommend!), and fit in a night show within 8 hours. We will call the day a success!

One of the best Disney resorts in the world! Had a great time here. All of the lands were themed and super pretty. Food was average and above but cheap coming from the US. Must try the alien mochi! Seemed to be mostly local which was surprising. I would recommend purchasing the fast passes and doing the 40th anniversary free fast pass. Rides were on average a lot shorter than the US. If you don’t know Japanese skip the shows!

(Translated by Google) A highly recommended museum. It is very clear how Urayasu City has changed from a fishing village to a big city with a Disney resort. Using panels and real objects, you can learn about the history of the city, which prospered from the fruits of the sea and later became a large city by utilizing reclaimed land. The main attraction is the reproduction of the town of Urayasu, a group of buildings from the Edo period to the Showa period, which are designated as cultural properties outside. Also, I personally found it very interesting that a commemorative cigarette was made to celebrate the establishment of the city of Urayasu. I think that it is an exhibit that makes you feel the fluffy era of the Showa era. I think that this museum can be said to be the city museum located at the highest peak in the Kanto region, along with Kawagoe City.

Free museum that chronicles the development of Urayasu from a thriving fishing village to its current state. Much of its wildlife and fishing culture is gone due to pollution and land reclamation in the Urayasu's early develpoment. Go to App Store or Play Store and download Pocket Curator app. In the app, search for Urayasu City Folk Museum. English writeup on the exhibits and efforts to preserve memories of this place.

It is a free museum to visit. They have English guide pamphlet, too, to help you understand the exhibition. There are many volunteers (i guess) roaming around the area of traditional houses of fishermen's town. You may enter all the buildings except for the staff office. You may open all the drawers inside the buildings, too. If you can speak Japanese very well, the volunteers usually will approach you and explain the exhibition you are approaching. Very helpful and informative. I really like this museum. Especially since you can get here by taking the osanpo bus or bus for sightseeing, for a cheap price. Recommend to go on weekdays because of the small size of the bus.

Free entry and staffed by volunteers. It’s an interesting story of how the area was developed after WW2 but it is also sad how the village inhabitants local way of life and culture that they’d been living for centuries was swept away from them in the name of ‘progress’. The environmental impact on Tokyo bay was considerable. The staff will give out some English language leaflets to explain the old buildings outside but if you can’t read Japanese you will need to use google lens translation or a similar app for the displays inside. There are some old style games and activities for the children. We enjoyed about an hour and a half there, it’s worth visiting if you’re in the area.

Beds are comfortable, employees were all so sweet. It was cold but the room was a bit to toasty for my liking but they were able to provide a fan for our room. 12 floor had an amazing vew, breakfast was interesting, not much of western food option so the price they charge was to pricey. We stayed at the Disney Ambassador Hotel and made reservations to Chef Mickey a couple months in advance. We were able to get reservations and eat breakfast here. It's a Japanese buffet with that Disney touch. The food is quite good with a traditional Japanese breakfast along with American-style. There's pastries and plenty of drinks for everyone. They had a Mickey pastry that you can color in with chocolate paint, really fun for both kids and adults. We also took the group photo as an extra charge. The photographer did well with hiding people from our photo. The highlight though is being able to take pictures with Chef Mickey since we couldn't take one with him at either park. They use your camera/phone to take photos. Also, they start removing food at 10:30 to prepare for lunch.

We have visited this place this August. Unfortunately, we were dissappointed. First of all, the photo with Mickey is done far from the hero. There have been no other cartoon heroes except Mickey. It seemed to us we have come to a usual place, not a Disney restaurant. We have been disinformed regarding current situation at this place by the information available on the web-site. The information given on the web-site is outdated. It have been before COVID-19. The atmoshpere is not so funny for kids anymore. Regarding the menu we think we could find the better place for this price. Adult buffet was 5 300, child buffet was 3 300, and kids was 2300. Drinks are not included into the menu. If you want ta have a glass of Cola, for example, please, be ready to pay 800 yen per a glass separately. However, some courses presented in the buffet were delicious.

Of all the character meals I've enjoyed in Tokyo (all of them, basically) Chef Mickey's is, by far, my favourite. Why? Because you get to hug Mickey, of course. The buffet is standard. There's a good selection of well made desserts along with rice & noodles dishes, soups and a salad bar. It's not extensive and a little basic but everything tasted nice. The restaurant decor is retro classy and very welcoming. I love the design aesthetic of the entire Ambassador Hotel. It's also very accessible from Maihama station; just walk through Ikspairi Mall, go to the right and you're there. During our visit I found the cast members to be extremely accommodating. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday during our trip and they put in a fantastic effort to make her feel special. Obviously the highlight is the main mouse himself. Sometime during the meal it's your chance to hug and socialise with Mickey and he's an absolute delight. Worth every penny, if you ask me. TOP TIP: Bookings open at 9am (Japan Standard Time) a month before your intended visit. In my opinion they are practically impossible to get (though definitely try!). However, there are cancellations ALL the time. If you want to visit and you're flexible just keep checking the days of your visit during your visit and one will very likely pop up. I've seen quite a few before and after I booked mine. Chef Mickey's is a wonderful experience I'd recommend to any and all. It's the one (and probably only) Disney reserved meal I'll be doing next visit.

Tried to come here for food as it states on the Disney website that everyone welcome and will have to just wait if there was no reservation. A staff member named Ishitani, PHYSICALLY stood between us and the entry telling us we can’t go inside even though we are staying at the hotel. She also was not honest about the available spots for reservation and behaved in a threatening matter. We saw her behave this with everyone who did not look like ‘wealthy’ Japanese. We felt very unwelcome and it really ruined our experience in Disney.

Step into the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland at the Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall, an enchanting dining venue that offers a creative twist on classic dishes. The restaurant's charming decor and theming extend to its menu, where guests can indulge in imaginative mains, sides, and desserts. While walk-ins are possible, it's advisable to secure a booking from 10:00 a.m. if you plan to visit.
The 45 minute wait for the place was pretty ridiculous, but being that this is a theme park I guess it was to be expected. I think the theming of the restaurant, however, is well executed and I was happy to see that this even applied to the kitchen. The staff was very nice and very respectful and even spoke a little English to some of our party that was having a hard time ordering. The food are smaller portions, but getting a soup and the seafood platter filled me up and I gorged on an Unbirthday cake as well. There are smaller desserts that come on an Alice in Wonderland plate or in a mug and they are included with the dessert as a souvenir, they even give you bubble wrap to pack it in. it's a good deal as well, you get a small dessert and a plate or mug for about 750 yen.

As far as theme park food goes this is up there. Steak with mashed potato and veges for 1700yen. Was walk in with no line just before 3pm.

It’s good full Alice in wonderland dining experience. The crowd control is done well here. You don’t get seats until you get your food. There’s plenty of seating once you get your food because only people with food can get seats. The food itself is plated well but the taste is as expected mediocre. However, for mass produced amusement park food I’ll give it a pass.

Very nice place for girl. Great can bring some Alice cup and plate back home.

Food is decent, served cafeteria-style, but you really go here for the decor. Alice in Wonderland theming on steroids. Playing card guards, spooky flowers, scary Queen - it's all amazing and the theming carries through to the kitchen too, and the food. Kind of a must-do if you have any affection for the OG Alice in Wonderland dark ride at Disneyland Anaheim or the teacups

We ate here in February. It was very cold outside, so it was nice to get inside and have an amazing meal. Highly recommend this restaurant next time you’re in Tokyo at Disneyland.

If you are tired and hungry traveling around Disneyland you must come here. There are lots of food choices, but the prices vary, I chose the grilled chicken and it was really delicious, the chicken was very tender and big, and there were lots of cakes and salads for sale too. the place is very spacious so you don't need to worry about not being able to sit.

Nice food and tasted great. The place has a long queue though. The most price wise restaurant in tyo disneyland in my opinion.

Very very recommended especially when you come with your girlfriend or lovers lol! This restaurant feels very magical! The moment you enter, it really feels like you're literally eating inside the Disney world! The food was also great but the chicken might be a little bit too big for 1 person. The Hamburg tastes amazing though!

Self service restaurant with pleasant interiors and average food. The food prices are slightly on the higher side but it is expected since it’s inside Tokyo Disneyland. After a long tiring day at the park you can come here to fill your belly and take some rest. The roasted chicken and desserts are recommended. The dessert price is high but you can take the plate in which it is served to home. The wait time was around 30 minutes at 7 pm on a Friday.you can pay by cash or credit card or quicpay.

Food's allright. long queue tho. Ordered the flank steak and baked salmon. Steak is Medium Tender. But the baked salmon sauce is too dense and stodgy. the salmon itself is allright but the sauce is too much. The drinks are pretty expensive tho. prepare to pay premium for normal drinks

Buffet restaurant
The buffet restaurant Sherwood Garden Restaurant offers a wide variety of international and Disney-inspired desserts in a sprawling, old-world setting. The food is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is delightful. It's a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.
We enjoyed our buffet here. There is a good selection of Western, Japanese and Chinese food. As a pescatarian I had a lot of options for food. I especially enjoyed the benito sashimi and the shrimp gratin. Overall the food wasn't amazing, but that's buffet food. A really good selection of deserts which my husband and I enjoyed trying. For 5000yen per person at lunch it's expensive for Japan but not for Disney buffets. In Walt Disney World you would be paying $40 per person plus tax and tip.
Lily Gill — Google review
This restaurant was actually pretty good for it being a buffet style. What I enjoyed most was the salmon, veggie pizza, and a lot of the desserts. I would go back and recommend it. Not to mention, it was one of the best food places I had at Disney.

Feel like people need to know it’s disgusting. Cold seafood pasta, cold French fries & quality is bad. Eat at the convenience store next door. I told the server the food was cold and she was like sorry and walked away. Waste of $80 for 2 ppl.

Beautiful buffet restaurant in the hotel. A bit pricey, but if you can get breakfast included in the room rate it's a great start to the day.

Food selection for a buffet in Asia was a bit limited. Service and atmosphere magical as you’d expect at a Disney park. So convenient as it is inside the Disneyland Hotel.

Italian restaurant
Ristorante di Canaletto offers traditional Italian cuisine in a grand, 18th-century-inspired hall adorned with fresco paintings and chandeliers. It is an upscale dining option suitable for families, offering a Bambino set for kids and a variety of sophisticated dishes for adults, such as squid tagliolini and spaghettini with clams peperoncino. The restaurant is known for its high-quality Italian food, including unique pizzas and elegant pasta dishes.
Italian food of the finest quality. Special pizza with unique ingredients. Magherita pizza is a must-order!! Pasta has an elegant taste which is it's specialty!!! The set with mushroom soup is delicious!! Their mushroom soup is very good, definitely worth trying. If there is a choice to sit outside or inside the restaurant, I recommend you sit outside. There's a heater installed on the ceiling, keeping you warm. If you're inside, you might feel a little too warm. Service is good even though they had the looks of struggling to understand some of our English words. Place is clean and comfortable.

This restaurant was discribed that the restraunt has some vegan menu but there is no any vegan menu. Then I asked a staff about vegan menmu, the staff couldn't answer it, and the staff went to a kitchen to verify it, she came back 10minutes later. As a result, I ordered pizza, and I said to her "I want you to take away any animal source food" Then she went to the kitchen to verify again. I waited for a long time again. I will never go there again.

[¥2800 per pax] Decent lunch, nothing wow or great tasting but a three course for this price is still considerably good valued. Queue was very long, approximately 1 hour while the course took us another 45 minutes to rush through. An alright meal if you have made an online reservation, however not recommended to queue for as it is too time consuming - better spent queuing for rides!

Ate here because they accepted walk ins. Queued for an hour before getting seats. Please book restaurants way before your visit day!! Overall you have to manage your expectations for theme park food! Food is decent. Pizza dough was fluffy and chewy. I personally liked it. Pasta tasted good.

We reserved a month ahead of time to only be able to get a 2pm seating, but they did say walk up was available for a 20 minute wait. Both my husband and I ordered the margarita pizza and it was alright for Japanese pizza. If i had been served it in the UK i might not have been so happy with it, but we were hungry and were enjoying the air con! We paid 4300yen for two pizzas and two iced teas.

A very busy restaurant, so a booking is highly recommended to avoid long waits. The Christmas menu was superb in all its courses (Antipasto, Pasta, Roast Beef and Dessert) , and service was extremely friendly. The staff were ever attentive and were flawless in creating a great dining experience. The overall atmosphere is also very homey in the evening. A must-go for dinner at Tokyo Disneysea!

Decent restaurant quality food for a theme park. Tried their chef special pizza, it was one of the best pizza I've ever tasted ! The only issue I have with Disney Sea is booking a restaurant is quite difficult if you don't get into the park early.

Food was excellent! Not expecting it from Disney. The seasonal limoncello cocktail was to die for. We had the carbonara, squid ink, and chef’s pizza. All made well! Have to get the tiramisu & espresso to top it off! Service was fast and friendly. Decor is beautiful! Would come eat again if it wasn’t in DisneySea :)

We were having a dinner here after the reservation through Tokyo Disney Sea application. It were fairy hard to book the slot so we had quite an expectation. We ordered the chef's recommended pasta dish and Margarita pizza. The pasta was actually a mushroom sauce pasta with two (very) small salmon fillets. The pasta was a bit undercooked and the taste wasn't that tasty. So we asked for the salt and pepper. The waitress was quite surprised for what we asked salt and pepper. It came back with the salt poured to a small plate, and there was no pepper available. The pizza was ok but still I expected a bit more. The services was great and the atmosphere was good. But for us, I think we can find better pasta outside this Tokyo Disney Sea restaurant.

A good place to go. If you can try to book it. I tried but always says busy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place feels relaxing and feels like you are in Italy. I sat outside which was nice. The food menu has English. The food is good for the price. For an amusement park, it is cheap. I would have given a 5 star but I wish they had 2 more pizza styles to choose from this was the only downside.

We shared a beautiful glass of red each, the chefs pizza (a margherita) and a carbonara. The meal was overall very good, if not perhaps a little simple. The pasta was creamy and smooth the pizza was sufficiently cheesy but neither were extraordinarily exceptional, just good. The view was lovely though, overlooking the venician gondola ride. If you're looking for a classier option compared to popcorn and hotdogs than I recommend eating here instead.

A restaurant at DisneySea where you can enjoy delicious Italian cuisine. However, the price range is on the higher side. I ordered pasta, and the service was satisfactory. I went without a reservation, so I waited a bit but not too long. It might be better to make a reservation in advance.

Had lunch on property today at this great sit down. We ordered the Christmas Special which was an amazing choice. Appetizer was really spot on check the photo, I tried both pastas, again amazing. The main was beef cheek with a red wine reduction and eggplant side. Dessert was ice cream with some fixings. Great lunch and another great Disney dining experience.

Food is better than any other Disney in the world. The sashimi on the seafood bowl is abit salty though. We didn’t reserve table, the app told us it takes 40 mins to wait and it is 40 minutes.

We saw this place in Disneyland and decided to have our lunch there - I would say early lunch - as we did not manage to get the reservation in time. It’s norm in Disneyland & DisneySea that food selection for restaurant are limited, but that does not stop this restaurant from serving very good food. The tempura and unagi were succulent and tasty, and servings are large (for Asian size 😊). The food for kids are great too - my kid loves it. Further the prices are reasonable (quite cheap for Disneyland & DisneySea)!

We were able to walk in here during a daytime parade without a wait. My husband and daughter ordered Katsu plates, one with rice and the other with ramen. They had huge portions! Their meals included salad, miso soup, and a pudding. Having food allergies, I was so grateful to have an option. The vegetable curry would have been more satisfying if offered along side a salad at least. It was fine as is, but I am used to more elaborate meals from Disney. The servers were so friendly and helpful! It was a great spot to have a break from rides and crowds!!

Traditionally dressed staff serve customers. Along with the Japanese traditional music, it feels very special and this mood goes along quite well with the Mickey-shaped decoration. It was very spacious and Thursday afternoon past the lunch time was not really crowded. I was feeling unwell after riding Space Mountain and the rice was good to soothe my stomach.

This restaurant is very very overrated. My friend and I decided to try it since it's one of the hot spots in Disneyland. First off we presented our reservation at and we were able to walk right in and be seated. Here is where it gets tricky. We probably waited like 15-20 mins before a waitress come over to us to take our order and that's only because I went up to one and said we are ready to order. The food was just ok to me and my friend. And they forgot her dessert because we sat there forever waiting on it. Luckily they did remove it from the bill. I wouldn't recommend this place or go back.

Food was great but service was lacking due to full house at lunch time. A little understaffed imo. Restaurant was also a little noisy as it is quite a big place.

Great service, tasty tempura and big portions! We booked this restaurant a month in advance and on the day it only looked like reservation only. The restaurant is big, but still quaint with the machiya styling. Our waiter spoke good English which was a bonus (but not necessary). I really enjoyed my tempura plate which was a super fresh mix of shrimp and vegetables. It came with udon or rice, i chose hot udon which was fresh, chewy, and flavourful. I even enjoyed the savoury custard included, umami rich and soft. I don't eat meat so the mickey on top of the custard was sausage, so i did not eat that. Pretty good price too, considering it is a Disney restaurant.
