Fleetwood Museum is a charming local history museum housed in a magnificent 19th-century Victorian building. It features an excellent gift shop and coffeehouse, as well as a second-hand bookshop where visitors can find amazing bargains. The staff are passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Fleetwood, providing informative and friendly guidance to visitors exploring each room's great interpretation. Families with children can enjoy trails and quizzes designed for them.
A real gem of a find. Really great interpretation in every room, as well as informative, friendly and helpful guides. Trails and quizzes for children too. Felt very welcomed; a lovely afternoon spent.

£3 per adult was a bargain price to pay for what this Museum had to offer. A real hidden gem and just a nice and interesting place to walk around. The Smack boat in the shed out the back was a real privilege to see and well worth a look. The volunteers were lovely and very enthusiastic. Plenty of costumes to try on and the gift shop was well priced. My favourite was the Fisherman's Friend exhibition and seeing the original artefacts inside there. The cafe seemed very good, although it was a bit too warm in there today sadly. If that's the only drawback then it shows you how good this little place is.
Daniel Booth — Google review
We had a wonderful time at this museum. The staff had a wealth of knowledge and were incredibly passionate about Fleetwood's history. Museum (including the cafe) was well run and immaculately clean. Would highly recommend.
Josie Bo — Google review
Well worth a visit to the towns only museum, fascinating stories and history about the towns people and working industries. Don't forget to visit the old trawler in the building out the back, finally the staff are dedicated with a passion for towns history and are more than happy to share their knowledge. We'll worth a visit.

We visited for the first time, yesterday. We've always visited Fleetwood in the closed season before. What a wonderful place! I was so impressed with the amount of information and memorabilia we could see. The volunteers were so friendly and helpful too, even the Punch and Judy guy who heard me ask if the show was over and arranged an impromptu appearance of his crocodile puppet around the closed curtain and snapping his jaws at us. Very funny. It was so refreshing to see visitors of such a wide cross section of age ranges. It's a place I would definitely revisit as there is so much to read and you cannot help but miss some of the material there. I'm in awe of this place, with so many plans for progression in a world where everyone is having to make its pennies stretch further. Well done guys! You're a credit to us all! I had such an enjoyable visit!
Elaine Stone — Google review
Wonderful small museum, very informative with really knowledgeable volunteers who have great details on local history. The displays and models are really impressive and the ship is just awesome. Really worth a visit.
Bret Mason — Google review
Loved this place. Full of local history. Made to feel very welcome by the volunteers and staff. Spent a couple of very interesting hours looking around for a reasonable entrance fee. The cafe is excellent and also reasonable for drinks and food. Amazing 50p second hand book shop.
Ian Anderson — Google review
We found the museum by chance. It was absolutely a great experience and we give great credit to the community for developing it themselves, we believe, without government assistance. Former fishermen gave us personally guided tours of the museum. They deserve all credit for this really enjoyable experience. 🥳🥳🥳

Excellent little museum. Very interesting but not "dry"! Very friendly, welcoming volunteers who are really knowledgeable. Great for kids too with quizzes. We'll worth the £3 entry fee - really well done!
Jayne Hall — Google review
Great museum. Compact but it packs a lot into the space that covers a variety of interesting local topics. Plenty of interactive stuff for the kids too. At £4 for adult and free for children you can’t go wrong. There’s free parking directly outside the museum. Staff very attentive and friendly. Cafe onsite - didn’t get to try it this time but from the last visit I recall it being good value and quality.
Alex Robinson — Google review
Most tourists know Fleetwood because of the market, but the museum is a real find. There are lots of wonderful exhibits, but even better are the retired trawlermen who are willing and able to pass on their knowledge. One chap took the time to explain the tidal system in the whole of Morecambe Bay to me . It's fascinating but pretty frightening, too. And you must go to the cafe. The 2 women who were on today were a hilarious double act. As a senior, I paid £2 for this marvellous experience. When you are done with the Market give it a go. You won't regret it.
Karren Huzzey — Google review
Fleetwood museum is a gem of a place to visit and we spent three interesting hours viewing and learning of the history of the Fleetwood fishing industry and the ships built nearby. The museum has one of the last surviving fishing smacks, The Harriet, built in 1893 and it is in a rough state but in its own display shed with hopes of restoring her. The museum tour guide for The Harriet, Robert, is a retired Fleetwood trawlerman and with his experiences of fishing off Iceland we learnt of the Cod War and the impact on the Fleetwood ships. The cafe has great hot toasties and with free parking outside it’s a great day out.

It was my best trip in Fleetwood the best experience to visit Fleetwood Museum. All Stuff are absolutely fantastic very friendly with great knowledge of history. They got so good sense of humour too. Thank you very much for your super service. Love from Tony and Alena from Shropshire.

Didn't realise I would spend so much time in a museum for a town the size of Fleetwood, excellent displays, plenty of information, volunteers first rate, cafe is spotless and the food super

Farmer Parrs Animal World

Animal park
Nature & Parks
Farmer Parrs Animal World is a delightful tourist attraction that offers an array of farm animals, rare breeds, and exotic species to visitors. Along with the opportunity to enjoy train, tractor or pony rides and create in a pottery studio. The farm itself is impressive, boasting super friendly animals that even little ones at two years old can interact with. Additionally, there are marshmallow mounds and a fantastic park where children can spend the entire day playing.
If you're even just passing, go and give them a visit!! The actual farm itself is amazing. The animals are great, super friendly even with my littlest at 2! They have marshmallow mound and a great park which our kids would have stayed on all day. And don't forgot the food!! Absolutely to die for! Everything was so ready and the prices so reasonable for what you get! We will be back for sure.

Great value for money, £30 for a family of four. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The children get to hold lots of animals. Play area was good too. The kids loved the jumping pillows
Roger De Nobrega — Google review
Lovely farm, my little girl loves animals and had the best time handling the chicks and small animals....where else can you get to stroke a deer? All of the animals are very friendly, we will definitely be back next year.
Victoria poole — Google review
Excellent place to take the family. Something for everyone. Lovely restaurant, interesting little world war era museum, kids play area, and of course plenty of farm animals to feel and pet.
Dave Clayton — Google review
Brilliant wee place. Visited on a Thursday afternoon. Was quiet. Tickets price includes a bag of animal feed for each person. Plenty of goats and sheep to feed. I advise not to just feed all the animals in the pens as there is more outside in the fields who will follow you around behind their fence. There are two play parks and a giant inflatable pillow. An indoor area with picnic benches and bouncing castle along with a pool pit. A small museum is on the site too. The animals look well cared for and the ones in the pens have their names displayed. They are quite happy to come up to the gate to say hello.
Lynn Fraser — Google review
We called here for a Sunday lunch on a cold and windy day in January. The Sunday lunch was delicious and good value, staff were friendly and helpful. The farm itself wasn't open for the season but the restaurant was still busy with families. Definitely worth a visit.
ChrisG G — Google review
A lovely place to visit for anyone who loves animals. A free large car park is available next to the entrance. Cafe on site which seems popular, although I didn't use it. Once the animals see the feed bags that are given to you on entry, they know what's coming!
Chris Buxton — Google review
We have visited Farmer Parrs Farm for the second time. Our last visit was 4 years ago and it was amazing. 4 years later, it is still amazing. Value for money!!! The animals are friendly and loved to be fed and stroked. The staff are great, helpful and friendly. The food is great value too and is piping hot upon serving. If you are near Fleetwood you absolutely must visit here!!!
Douglas Priestman — Google review
I took my elderly mother, who is from a farming background. She found the museum great for reminiscing. Lots of machinery she remembered from her childhood. The animals were also a joy to feed and pet. Only a couple of families there at 4pm on a Wednesday. Access was good for a mobility scooter or pram. Good toilet facilities and very good cafe, there was even a bar!

A lovely day with the grandchildren , the farm was fantastic , they loved feeding the animals , and also the large trampoline play area., the food in the cafe was superb also.

It so mutch to do in this place ,they do have a restaurant aswell ,kids playing area outdoor and indoor, also a little Country Museum. Plenty of animals to watch ,big shout for the big "LOKI" Thank you ,great experience.

Really nice morning out for £25 for family of 4. Couldn't spend whole day there, but best animal feeding I've been to, especially lamb feeding for kids. The restaurant attached was pretty pricey, lunch for 4 cost £43 and was okay good. Good milkshakes made from ice cream and lots of sauce
Joe S — Google review
We spent very pleasant hours here with our one and a half year old grandson. The entrance ticket also includes pet food. Thereis an outdoor playground, a covered picnic area and an indoor playground. The animals are very friendly. The ice cream in the buffet is very delicious. I highly recommend this place.
Zsoltné Megyei — Google review
There is a lovely cafe/bar that can be used without going in to the farm area. There is a museum that is basic but good for a walk round. Good toilet facilities for families. The farm itself is pretty basic and very little to look at. There is an indoor and outdoor play area for young children. In my view it is absolutely not worth the cost of the ticket, there are not enough animals to warrant the cost. The play areas could be accessed any where locally for free.
Mi Co — Google review
What a lovely day out.. staff are so lovely and willing to help children learn about the animals ❤️ Nice little museum and indoor play area with picnic benches to eat food too.. Recommend a day out here.
Natalie Bowker — Google review
Lots to do and see. The cafe / restaurant area looked very busy so we decided to give that a miss. You get animal feed with the entrance fee. If it rains ( it did whilst there) worth checking out the museum.

Ferries
Fleetwood Ferry Port is a dog-friendly ferry service with welcoming staff. The journey is smooth and easy to embark and disembark, even in rough seas. Passengers can enjoy a fun spin in the middle of the channel upon prior request. The ferry offers affordable fares for both ways. Besides the ferry service, Fleetwood hosts a market that boasts numerous attractions at reasonable prices. Additionally, there's a nearby museum that displays significant historical artifacts.
Great little Ferry, dog friendly and welcoming staff. We even got spun around in the middle of the channel for fun! (they did ask everyone if that was OK first, in case you get seasick), but the kids on the boat loved it! Very easy to walk on and off the ramp and the journey was surprisingly smooth despite the rough sea (and spins!). Would definitely go again for £2 each way.

Little girl loved the ferry ride from Fleetwood-Knott End. Guys running the ferry were decent and helpful getting on and off with a pram and dog.
Peter Davis — Google review
Very reliable service between Fleetwood and Knott End. Check the timetable though as at the lowest tide times the service can be more limited. It is a quick crossing for the cost of £2. I recommend this as an alternative to driving the whole way around. The staff were friendly and ensured the service was as efficient as possible.

Affinity Lancashire Outlet Shopping

Shopping mall
The Affinity Outlet Shopping Lancashire is a convenient place to shop, located near the motorway and with ample parking. The stores offer a range of new items as well as sale items, although some shops are unfortunately empty. Nevertheless, the main shops for women of a certain age such as Roman are still present. Masks are not required in stores and visitors can spend several hours there. For those interested in exploring beyond the mall, it's just a short drive to reach the center of Fleetwood.
Lovely to walk round. My main reason for the rating. The public toilets are the cleanest I have ever experienced and I am fussy. Greatly discounted shopping . Still spent a lot!! The staff in all the shops were helpful.
Martine Bamber — Google review
A variety of shops from house to clothing ranges with a nice view of the docks area. There is also a children's play area and public toilets at each end. Only 4 stars due to some of the shops are closed down but overall a great place to go.
Rixis Davis — Google review
Good experience did some shopping plenty on offer and garden centre great, and ice cream parlour next door. Loved the sweet emporium..... all the sweeties from childhood you could wish for and lots of sugar free sweets too. Katie's tearoom is a great place to stop for a bite. Everything from breakfast to afternoon tea and anything inbetween. Their homemade cakes are lush.
Cath M — Google review
Well, went yesterday which was a good choice there was hardly anyone there. Plenty of parking and so easy to get to from the motorway which you don't have to use very much to get there for those that don't like using the motorway. The shops that are there are quite large and good stock new stuff coming in but plenty of sale stuff at the moment. Lots of shops are empty which is such a shame, but the main shops (for a woman of a certain age) are still there, roman etc so great for me. You don't need masks in the shops. I had a good few hours there. And it's not far at all to get into Fleetwood centre of there 3 mins in the car but to far to walk. Worth a visit for a few hours.

Forever Belieber — Google review
Visited for the first time seems a little underwhelming, has some big brand outlets and that’s great. Very little else to do here. Could have so much potential with free parking. - one way systems seem a little confusing. Possible onsite restaurant / cafe would attract and keep customers longer. My visit lasted 30minutes tops. I revisited 2 days later for 10 minutes. Seems some improvements and upgrades are due later 2023 so we will see if that improves anything. I think a large part is due to the entrance way - this could be revamped to be more interactive / attractive from passing cars - it seems very closed off. As this is a busy thoroughfare through Fleetwood with the added traffic to local fast food and supermarket it could attract more.
Marky H — Google review
Nice shopping experience, shops are built now for the older generation not many young people type shops a lot of furniture, plant and overpriced clothing shops. If your on holiday in Blackpool get the tram which you can get an all day pass for around £8.00 per person this gives you access to bus and tram all day long, it’s a day out on the tram to shopping outlets nice place to have a snack to eat, there is a McDonald’s on car park next door and there is a nice walk along the harbor. Toilets are available and free both ends of the outlets this is a positive and parking is free. Dog friendly. It’s worth a visit but would not return to often.
Dazzandlizzie — Google review
A good out of town shopping mall. Much better than Fleetwood main street. Lots of cafes and some really good shops for clothes, hobbies or things for your home. Favourite shops are Skopes for clothes, The Works for books/art supplies and a new gardening shop that has a big, clean cafe! 😀☕
Roger Randall — Google review
A nice, clean and easy going shopping area with a big car park, good places to eat at, excellent toilets and a lovely view across the basin. Some of the shops are a bit niche and bespoke yet they have some more down to earth shops nearby anyway. Interested in visiting when the new garden centre opens. This place is always popular with the Coach trips.
Daniel Booth — Google review
Great shopping arcade. Late night opening. Very festive decorations on time of our visit here. Stroll through to the marina at the back. Lovely area to sit and relax after your shopping here. Plenty of choice of shops and cafes here. Toilets available on site also ample free parking for customers here. I would recommend a visit her if you are in the Fleetwood area
Lynne Brady — Google review
Nice setting with plentiful free parking. The old wild west frontier town look is very cheesy and dated now and desperately needs a revamp. Used to have some great big name outlets, but lots of empty units and nonsense shops now. Used to be able to spend half and day here but you can do it all in an hour now. Prices are pretty much same as the high Street. Shame as it was a good destination.
Julian Kobelt — Google review
I go here everything I'm in Blackpool. A few years has passed since last there and can say it has improved emensly as not an empty store in the whole place. Still got to love the Cadbury store however doesn't seem as valuable as it once was. Toilets and park clean throughout.
John Beattie — Google review
Great for a wander. Just needs a little more variety as a lot of outdoor sports type shops. Nice when weather is fine with the view of the marina.
Susan Southward — Google review
A great place to shop, you can get some good discounted items here, plus a few nice places to eat. Car parking is very good too, plus if you want to nip down to the beach after this you can a few minutes drive. Well worth a visit.

Fleetwood Market

Mentioned on
Market
Fleetwood Market is a traditional market that offers both indoor and outdoor stalls selling a wide variety of products. Local produce such as food and clothes are available in abundance, catering to all sizes from baby to plus size. The market also provides phone repair services while you wait or enjoy a cup of coffee at one of the cafes. The hat stall is particularly noteworthy, stocking the finest Panama hats from Christies of London under the ownership of an interesting vendor.
Excellent market all under civer great variety of stalls. Including food biscuit stall really good. Nice cafe. Will be going again when in Fleetwood.
Anne Guy — Google review
Excellent old fashioned market , now run by the Council and from my understanding and at my time of writing, the council is hiking the rent and 9 stall holders have decided to pullout. This is a major attraction in the town, the tram was full of people specifically going to the market and yet the council seem to want to drive people away. If they want to raise funds how about putting parking meters for all the areas that mobile homes/camper vans are parked free at.
kevin mills — Google review
Great old fashioned market, indoor and outdoor stalls selling pretty much anything. Cafes and food stalls selling lots of quality local produce. Clothes in abundance and with sizes from baby to unbelievably huge. Phone repairs while you wait (or go for a brew). The hat stall is the best, interesting guy running it and he stocks the best Panama hats from Christies of London. The added advantage is that the Steamer pub is just over the road, good beers and pub food and you may get to meet Syd (of Little and Large fame). Lunchtime disco/karaoke for post Fleetwood Market shopping entertainment 👍🏻🍻
Mad Nomad — Google review
Traditional market with an abundance of stalls selling pretty much everything. A traditional market is no longer a simple find anymore, this one makes up for it. The market cafe is great value, with the steak pie being a quality meal - keeps us returning just for the food. The layout can be challenging with some tight spaces to negotiate between stalls, there were people using mobility scooters but you'd have to choose you're route carefully to avoid the tight spaces and dead ends. Plenty of free on street parking and local car parks available. Well worth a visit to a rare and high quality market.
Darren M — Google review
Brilliant market. We stayed near it on holiday and visited twice. Everything you could wish for is available here to buy. Quite big market. Managed to find some cool music memorabilia and two pairs of good quality work shorts. Highly recommended if you on holiday in this area.

We visited a couple of weeks back with a friend who was staying with us, it is a great market but it was very quiet being winter time. We did have something to eat and drink at a little side cafe and it was lovely, we will definitely be back again.
Dawn Forrester — Google review
Though it may not seem like much from the outside, this is an extensive indoor market, with many different stalls selling things like records, ornaments, sweets and more. You could (and I did) spend hours here, it's like every turn you see something new. A good place to spend a rainy day exploring and finding new bargains. Definitely worth a visit, especially as it's a less than 5 minute walk from the Fleetwood Tram station.

Steak house
Miller & Carter steakhouse is a fantastic place to enjoy delicious cuts of beef cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself is stylish and comfortable. The steakhouse is well-priced, making it an excellent choice for food lovers on a budget.
We were a group of 6 adults and a 2 year old child. We were celebrating my belated birthday due to Covid. The food had been highly recommended by others, so we decided to try it. We weren't disappointed. The Set menu was ideal and a very good price. Cocktails were enjoyed by most of us, and instead of a birthday cake I had a Knickerbocker Glory......and it didn't disappoint. The thing that made our visit memorable though was our server Jordan. He was polite, knowledgeable, patient, and watching him with other tables he was versatile. He also gained an admirer......the 2 year old on our table 🙊 He amended his customer service skills to deal with each table, as he saw appropriate...not something many people can do. The skills Jordan showed whilst serving us, and those around us, highlighted what an asset he is to your company. I am a store manager and i would be proud to have someone like Jordan on my team. Well done 🌟🌟🌟

We had such a fabulous afternoon here celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary! The service from Natalie was outstanding, very efficient and friendly :) The food was so good we couldn’t even leave it, so that’s another meal for supper later! Chef Zoe hats off to you!! And then to top it all off, they brought a fabulous anniversary dessert with complimentary Prosecco included! Couldn’t fault a single thing today, all the team have made our day super special and I can’t thank them all enough :) xxx

Couldn't have picked a better place to celebrity our 2yr anniversary. I can't remember the exact name of what we had but it was like a sharing platter .. presentation was second to none .. all cuts of meat were cooked to perfection.. no effort needed the knife just glided through them and they just melted in the mouth. The side wedges were a suprise .. we were confused as we'd ordered chips so thought the option of wedges was over kill .. but when the wedges came out they were a wedge of iceberg lettuce with sauce topping of your choosing. Whoever thought of these is a genius they were a brilliant accompaniment to the steaks and were very refreshing. Lovely surroundings and staff that can't do enough to help make your visit enjoyable. Can't wait to go back

Always a fabulous experience at miller & cater. And always great food. We went on a Wednesday night to celebrate our daughters 10th birthday 🥳 Natalie our server was fantastic. She could not have been any more attentive! So professional and so friendly 😊. Thank you Natalie! The birthday girl was full after her main and didn’t want an ice cream but Natalie still came out with a plate with ‘happy birthday’ on it. Food was awesome as ever, with steaks cooked to perfection! I’ve just remembered now that our daughter forgot to the ring the bell to let chef Adam and his team know they smashed it!! Ours kids love ringing that bell on our way out.

Lovely meal, a family member had booked for us in for the Lytham M&C restaurant but had told us this address, 😩 even though it was a Saturday evening and they were extremely busy they managed to fit the four of us in with a small wait of 15 minutes. This is the first time that we've been to a Miller and Carter and honestly, we couldn't have been more impressed. It was my birthday today and our server Jordan was absolutely exemplary and just could not do enough for us, he even brought me my dessert with a candle and happy birthday written in chocolate. It absolutely made my day! And further to this, my wife is intolerant of quite a few things 🙄 but the manager (sorry I didn't catch your name) came over and went through how things were cooked so that she could make an informed choice. All in all, we were so utterly chuffed, we will definitely be back soon!

Maybe it’s just me but I think the food is average at best !, Pretty expensive for what you pay for. Please don’t get me wrong if the food are great then the price would of been okay but in this case it is not! Over priced and over hyped and the only thing worth getting at M&C are just drinks, this is the 5th one that we went to and it’s all the same, your not paying for quality anymore like before! On the upside the service was good though kudos for our waiter👌 Please give this a thumb up if this guide help you out, would be appreciated ❤️👌

Thornton Lodge is a pub and restaurant that specializes in serving classic comfort food. They offer a wide range of options, including kids' and dessert menus. Recently, they hosted a funeral wake and did a commendable job in taking care of the party. The drink selection was diverse, and the prices were reasonable. The buffet spread consisted of several delicious dishes, although there were a few that could have been improved upon.

I ordered the gammon for £10 something not the £8 something one and got the smallest gammon I've ever seen it makes me wonder how small the £8 one would of been. I know a lot of pensioners come here but I'm not a pensioner and would of liked a full size adult meal. If you look at the pic it's nearly the same size as a fried egg, very disappointed.

Came here for a late lunch, only about 6 other people in the whole place, so the 2 star atmosphere, but the place was tidy and I'd hope for more during busy periods. Food was fine, nice pub grub. Service was going well until a young girl took over and threw our deserts onto our table and walked away without speaking. Ruined the meal. We will try again on a weekend and hope for more people and better service.

Similar to many pub restaurants in decor. Long waiting time as there didn't seem to be a lot of staff....but then again it wasn't busy. The staff available were pleasant. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children under 5. Portion sizes were good as was the food. Perhaps 1 child's portion would do 2 children. My husband enjoyed his burger. Only complaint really serving and waiting time.

We were at a funeral wake and they looked after the party well. The drinks choices were broad and prices fair. The food was a buffet with several nice pieces and a few that could have been better. I particularly enjoyed the chicken strips. The warm quiche was pleasant, too. Sandwiches were varied but so was the filling - egg was sparse, for example, and beef not well sliced to eat in a butty. The sausage rolls looked very interesting but should have been served hot, as cold, the filling was obviously not as meaty. The large meat pie may have been pork but our table weren't sure. The coleslaw and a little salad decoration helped lift the overall meal.

Didn't reserve a table but staff were very friendly and asked us to wait while one was sorted out - less than 5 min wait. Food and atmosphere - nothing to complain about and reasonably priced as well. Excellent service all round.

Booked in for 4pm,with a dog. Seated in nice secluded bar area. All ordered the pork roast dinner and it was brilliant. Sides were brilliant, staff great and bowls/treats available for the dog too. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Discovered by chance that this place does brunch. The empty car park suggests it's a little know fact or people don't rate it. We had coffee and the American pancakes with maple and bacon. Lovely. Definitely one worth discovering if you're in the area. If this was helpful please give it a like.

Good food. Good service and handy location on a main route through Thornton to Fleetwood. The junction nearby is currently a nightmare however! The waiter we had was great with the kids, really patient with them. We had the fish goujon butty, it was quite big and filling and not too badly priced. Kids had the 2 courses for £6.99 and they were good portions too. The pictures are of the food after we had started eating as we were all starving and tucked straight into it. The decor of the pub is lovely and it was a peaceful place to sit for lunch.

We arrived greeted fine and sat down . It was a while before being offered drinks and I had to ask for a drinks menu . We knew what we wanted to eat but as soon as I asked I was told they didn't have the trio roast and no turkey. So we had to order beef which we didn't really want . 10 mins later the waitress came over said sorry they sold the last 2 beef so all we could pick was a rib of beef or pork . The Rib was all we could pick as we didn't like pork it was more expensive as well so I wasn't best pleased. My daughter at this point wanted to go home . We got our meals my daughter loves parsnips but none were to be seen as advertised on the menu also they said it was maple roasted carrots they were just boiled carrots . And the roast potatoes as advertised with garlic and rosemary were definitely not that . Not once did the waitress ask if everything was OK. I then asked for puddings to be told 2 of them they didn't have and the coffee machine had apparently blown up so I couldn't even have that. I have to say I won't want to eat there again ii was a really depressing meal for a mothers day. I just can't believe you can't make sure to have enough stock in and make sure to tell people about the stuff you don't have as soon as they sit down. If it wasn't for mothers day I would of gone elsewhere.

Went in last night, the place is clean and very well decorated, the man who set us at our table was very pleasent and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The only downside was the food, we were adviced that the soup of the day was pumpkin and butternut squash however it came out as onion soup. My starter of chicken was cold but it was still tasty. The glazed veg was not glazed just steamed and the cheese cake was a hot pile of goo and mush. They were short staffed so hopefully it will improve.

Pub
The Horns Inn provided a peaceful atmosphere for a midweek lunch with friends. The staff were friendly and accommodating towards our furry companion, making us feel welcome. The menu offered a variety of appetizing options, including spicy Nachos with jalapenos, red chilies, and spring onions. The portion sizes were satisfyingly generous. Our meals consisted of delicious choices such as Hunters Chicken, Fish Pie, Chicken Italiano, and Pulled beef Chilli.
Passed this pub many times on way to other places. Booked for Sunday lunch for a friend's birthday. Had the roast lamb which was amazing, so tender and no fat visible. Had dessert which was just as amazing Service was really good. Decor of pub very nice. Very popular place to eat. Will definitely visit here again

Visited this evening with my family, food was first class, the only issue would be the service, 3/4 of an hour wait since ordering the food and then a further wait after the main course for the sweet. Will definitely visit again and give it another go!

It's a very quaint countryside pub, interior decor is very warm and cosy - easy to find just down the road from Garstang. Went there for lunch with a friend. Prices is a touch high, but I suppose every business has to raise their costs due to the pandemic, world war 3 and the general cost of living crisis. The food in general was quite nice, but the burger I ordered came a little undercooked. I still ate it and it wasn't bad. The staff are very welcoming though, which is always a bonus.

Very friendly staff, they are attentive and proactive. Part of our food order arrived cold and the servers were quick to sort it out. A small car park out the back, but there were plenty of spaces when we visited during a busy time. Good atmosphere and nice places to walk nearby when finished your meal.

Quiet Monday lunch with friends. We had a dog with us who was made most welcome by the lovely staff 😊 a very good choice of food, good portion sizes. The Nachos were 'hot' with jalapenos, red chilies and spring onions, try not to have all 3 in one mouthful! Phew, they were very nice. We had, Hunters Chicken, Fish Pie, Chicken Italiano, and Pulled beef Chilli. All of which were very tasty. Deserts only 2 the chocolate brownie fudge sundae and apple pie with non dairy ice cream. Our waitress was very helpful indeed which made the meal more enjoyable, we felt welcome, relaxed and Wilson of the #morecambewieners certainly recommends The Horns as he was given cuddles galore and, as he was a puppy, allowed to sleep on a comfy chair. Thank you The Horns we all enjoyed our Monday lunchtime with you. 😊👌👌🤗

Great pub to either sit and drink or have a meal. Well worth a visit. The menu and specials are varied and cater for everyone, Inc gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. I ordered starter - halloumi fries. Main course - Salt and Pepper Tofu...both dishes were so tasty. I could not fault the quantity or quality of either. I finished with a cappuccino. This place is popular and gets very busy, wise to book in advance especially for the weekends. Mid week lunch - a number of people queuing at the doors for midday opening! . There are a good variety of menu choices including a specials board. The pub has a friendly , relaxed atmosphere. Staff are welcoming and tentative. There is an average size car park and the pub caters for disabled access. Children are also welcome. There is a good variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from. This place offers a free birthday meal for anyone agreeable to signing up for email correspondence. Certainly a place to visit, as in my own opinion The Horns Inn is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

As the leading vinegar brand in the UK, Granada Fish Bar & Restaurant values the tradition and culture of Fish & Chips. They proudly support this iconic dish by recognizing and promoting the best Fish & Chip shops that work tirelessly to serve it. This takeaway offers faultless service in a spotless restaurant, where they cook delicious fresh food promptly and efficiently. Their fish is cooked to perfection, with a crisp batter, while their chips are fresh and incredibly tasty.
Faultless. We had a wonderful Fish and Chip Supper in their spotless little restaurant. Delicious food cooked fresh and served promptly and efficiently. Looking forward to a return sometime soon. Excellent value too.

A popular place, it was busy when I visited for a takeaway. I had a large cod and chips. The fish was good and fried fresh. The batter was thick and crisp. It was a decent size, but there was also an XL cod on the menu and I'd probably go for that next time. The chips were okay, not as fresh as the fish and a little dry. Took a while to be served, though it was busy.

Wow me and my girlfriend had the gorgeous fish chips and I had curry and the girlfriend had the mushy peas and bread and butter and a tea and coffee, it went down great guns, it was absolutely gorgeous, lightly battered Cod cooked to a gorgeous crisp when you bit into it, it melted in your mouth. Absolutely gorgeous chips home made, well cooked to perfection and not at all greasy. The Peas and curry sauce were to die for and you could tell home made. The brews were also delicious hot in tea and coffee pots, and served to our table along with the bread. The service and friendliness and fun was exceptional along with the gorgeous food made our tea, after getting some sea air in Fleetwood. A little Gem in Fleetwood, we will be definitely be back.

Caught the smell as I walked past. Couldn't resist the temptation. Ordered the smallest size and was soon rewarded. Excellent fish and chips served with a smile. If you are in Fleetwood, and you are passing... stop... go inside and treat yourself, don't think you'll regret it.

Pub
The Castle Gardens is a local establishment that offers traditional British cuisine and beers. It boasts cozy log fires and hosts regular events. Recently, it served as a gathering place after a funeral at Carleton Crematorium, conveniently located nearby. The pub arranged for a designated area where they set up an appetizing buffet with clearly labeled dishes, including options for vegetarians. However, the availability of gluten-free items was uncertain.
Great food, quick service. Highly recommend.

Went in with family members for lunch and drinks. Value for money meals, which was nicely presented and served by pleasant staff. Lovely desserts to finish . Menu has a wide variety of dishes and light bites, including dietary options. Building is disabled accessible and a free car park ( remember to add car details into the machine on entry) has disabled bays .An enjoyable experience.

Today was very disappointing, sadly. We have been here several times. I ordered from the lunchtime menu - 2 courses for £7.99. But because I was not ordering a main meal, I couldn't do this. (I had a starter and a desert, which cost more than if I'd had a main meal. There was no atmosphere and I had to wait ages for my dessert. Very disappointing for somewhere we have eaten many times and enjoyed. Sorry!

The food was fantastic. Every part of the meal was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Considering how busy it was, we didn't have to wait long for any part of the service - although my dessert was a few minutes behind the rest of the table, as I had ordered a mini dessert (tea and waffle), so I still had my tea to drink while waiting. If I had to highlight any area of improvement it was that the sink in the ladies had an overpowerful tap and I got splashed more than expected. I didn't complain at the time because it was only a little splash and it made me jump more than anything - perhaps someone could turn the pressure down a bit?

It was arranged to come here after a funeral at Carleton Crematorium just down the road. They sectioned off an area for us and put a buffet out. The food looked lovely, and everyone said how different it was to the normal spread. Everything was labelled, even vegetarian options catered for and labelled. The message for gluten-free was not given, so I'm not sure what would have been available. There was an open bar arranged, and everyone was relaxed and at ease to catch up and remember past times. Parking was easy, disabled parking just at the door area. Remember to register your car for free parking at display on the bar.

Went for a meal at this establishment and to say it was disgusting is a under statement. I had so it said on the menu gammon and chips my definition of it would be a slice of bacon and chips and l am being kind when I say a slice of bacon. The chips looked like they had been warmed up several times and tasted of cardboard. Only for my meal being paid for by a relative the meal would have gone straight back maybe thrown back. One more thing they switched the heating off and people were sat in coat and scarves to keep warm really good customer service. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE DON'T GO UNTIL CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BETTER.

Asked to reserve a table by the fire which was arranged which was the first bonus, second the food! I went for the grilled sea bass with new potatoes and asparagus which tasted amazing and perfectly cooked while my partner had hunters chicken which she also enjoyed. We shared garlic bread with the main which was heavenly garlicky. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were well priced for the quality of food. Dessert was also top notch! The caramel apple pie was so good! Proper winter warmer 👌🏻 There was absolutely nothing that we could fault other than the regret of driving so I could enjoy one more pint by the fire

Food took a little longer than we expected but there had been a function prior to our arrival. All of the food was good apart from one of the larger steaks on the mixed grill was undercooked as we asked for medium to well done. It was fatty and almost rare. Shame.

Wow! The staff here are super friendly and make this pub my favourite and all my friends and family. Jordan and Vinny are the funniest bartenders and always provide amazing customer service skills. Charlotte and liv always provide my food with a smile and are super helpful. Rachel the quiz queen is always kind and funny when I’m there which makes my visit even better. I would 1000% recommend this place for the food and the people
