A beautiful memorial to our service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice 🇺🇲 🗽🙏🏻

this memorial was pretty amazing and moving to hear the history. my uncle is korean so he really appreciated it. We will go back when we have more time to really learn more about the history
PeggyLynn Escardo — Google review
While strolling on AC boardwalk, I saw this. The Korean Conflict, 1950-1953, the nation's only undeclared war, claimed more than 36,000 American lives. Approximately 7,600 service personnel remain unaccounted for. It was created to ensure that future generations remember and honor the pride and dedication of those who served, the legacy they continued, and the freedom they preserved. Memorial featuring bronze figures of heroic proportions, representing the servicemen and women who fought in Korea. The most memorable is the 12-foot high "Mourning Soldier" who is clutching several dog tags and remembering his lost comrades. Also represented are a soldier and nurse helping a wounded soldier and two battlefield reliefs behind sheets of water cascading into reflecting pools. Beneath an eternal flame is a wall bearing the names of all New Jersey service members killed or missing in action, as well as a wall honoring the five New Jersey servicemen who were awarded the Medal of Honor for heroism in Korea.

Title: "A Profound and Poignant Tribute - The New Jersey Korean War Memorial" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Last weekend, I had the chance to visit the New Jersey Korean War Memorial in Atlantic City, a powerful homage to the brave New Jerseyans who served in the Korean War. A testament to the sacrifices of 191,000 men and women, the memorial, majestically located at the intersection of Park Place and the Boardwalk, overwhelms you with solemn respect and reverence. The bronze figures, particularly the 12-foot "Mourning Soldier," are emotionally impactful. They stand tall, representing the heroism and valiance of the servicemen and women who fought in Korea. The soldier clutching dog tags, his eyes seeming lost in fallen comrades' memories, silently narrates stories of sacrifice and camaraderie, echoing the brutality of war and the human strength that withstands it. Flickering above a wall inscribed with the names of those killed or missing in action, the eternal flame feels almost like a heartbeat - a constant, gentle reminder of lives lost and heroes born. The additional wall honoring the five Medal of Honor recipients from New Jersey further instills a sense of awe and pride. Despite the extensive renovation in 2021, the addition of the Wall of Remembrance and improvements in accessibility have only enhanced the memorial's essence. The Wall of Remembrance, bearing the names of all New Jerseyans who served in the Korean War, ties together these courageous individuals' shared history and legacy. The preservation and maintenance efforts are commendable, ensuring the memorial stands strong as a beacon of respect and remembrance. The New Jersey Korean War Memorial is open daily and offers free entry, making this significant history accessible. This monumental tribute encapsulates the spirit of those who gave their all in fighting for freedom and democracy. It is a place where the past meets the present, ensuring that the sacrifices of many will never be forgotten. A visit here is a profound experience that gives you a deeper appreciation of the cost of the liberties we enjoy today. This memorial is a moving and dignified tribute deserving of a full five-star review. It stands not only as a symbol of past sacrifices but as an enduring reminder of courage and resilience - a place of reflection, respect, and remembrance.

Very nice memorial. There was no place to park so we just rode around the site
Michael Hooper — Google review
Overall, the man being carried was very profound. The piece moves you, especially veterans. But the fountain isn't running and there's trash, and construction cones. The park was full of rifraf and the fountain wasn't maintained.
Mercury Retrograde — Google review
One of the coolest spots in Atlantic City, this iconic place is picture worthy and very attractive but most importantly it's a reflection point for us to reflect upon. To pay tribute to the heros of our dearest nation. I'm definitely back to the New Jersey Korean Memorial when next I visit Atlantic City for sure.

Fun & Games
The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa is a top-of-the-line waterside property with an impressive array of amenities, including dining options from all over the world, a casino, six pools, and a theater. The hotel also boasts cutting edge entertainment with top-name performers and luxurious accommodations.
Stayed in one of the suites absolutely love the Borgata it is so clean and I really enjoyed the amenities but it had to offer. Thank you my friend for inviting me I would definitely recommend this place. Make sure that you get a card so that you can gain points while you're playing any games. The restaurants were really nice I went to the two different buffets which offered a lot of good food. The view from my room was fabulous I will return five stars. Parking is $5 in the hotel, if you go you have to stop at the butter deli something like that they have these croissants it's in the picture and inside is spinach and cheese it was absolutely delicious. It cost $6 but a well worth it.

Rooms are spacious, Neat and clean, well stocked. Pool is very nice with two hot tubs. Good variety of slot machines good selection of food choices from casual and inexpensive to very upscale and pricey. Parking lot is easy to access and valet parking is also available. Good rewards program, drink service on the casino floor can be very slow and buffet has various days and hours that it may be closed so best to call and inquire if the buffet is open if you plan to eat there.

Borgata is the best casino in AC that I have been to, so I will award it 5 stars (AC scale). I’m not a huge gambler but those I know who are agree it’s the best for gaming. The rooms are nice and the casino floor is big and pretty spread out. It’s location away from the boardwalk makes it better in a way as you don’t get overcrowding and vagrants in and out from the boardwalk, this is a double edged sword since you can’t walk to other venues and have to take a cab across town to go to the boardwalk. The sports book is superior to others I have been to in town as it has a nice sports bar attached, this is (I believe) also the only casino in AC that has horse betting which I like. There’s a bunch of good restaurants too, especially like old homestead steakhouse. Gypsy bar usually has good live music on weekends too.
George Twill — Google review
Everything was wonderful in the casino and the concert was amazing! We ate at the metropolitan! Fantastic food and a wonderful fun atmosphere throughout. I love the pool and laying in the sun before check out. What I didn't like was I didn't know the last time our hotel room was cleaned! I had to wipe all glass surfaces and the bathroom floor as there was hair like they don't vacuum ! It was pretty dusty. Overall we had a good time.
Sarah Ernst — Google review
One of my absolute favorite Casino Resorts. Yes AC has a bad reputation from the inner city looking like a real fixer upper but honestly I have never felt a threat and I’ve walked the streets at night. Remember it’s all how you move. The Resort is still as beautiful since it has first opened. Now that MGM has it name on it I expect it only to get better. The rooms are just the best even a basic room is beautiful and clean. The views of the marina are breathtaking not to mention if you get a room facing what I call the Jersey shore strip of the other casinos. The Casino was Alive as it always tends to be and the night life here is one to beat! The food was great! I’ve been here a few times and I’ve enjoyed just about every place here and none of them have disappointed. This is one place that you’ve got to try!

Great place to stay, very clean and modern accommodation. I stayed in the MGM tower which had recently been renovated so the rooms were nice. I newly renovated rooms had a bit of a retro beach vibe but still tasteful. I wish that this hotel and casino was on the boardwalk so I had more things to do within walking distance.

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City offers an exceptional experience that I can't praise enough. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, well-appointed, and meticulously clean, providing a perfect retreat after a day of excitement. The casino floor is vibrant and offers a wide array of gaming options, ensuring there's something for every type of player. Dining at Borgata is a culinary delight. The variety of restaurants is outstanding, and the quality of the food is top-notch. Whether you're in the mood for fine dining or a quick bite, there's an option to satisfy your cravings. The spa and wellness facilities are second to none. They offer a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation, making it easy to unwind and recharge. What truly sets Borgata apart is the outstanding customer service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is a fantastic destination for entertainment, relaxation, and indulgence. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable Atlantic City experience.

Went here for the TriplePlay Realtor Conference. The rooms were great - our view was spectacular ⭐️ the people were friendly, everything was clean and easy to navigate. I loved the shops and the fact that they had a Starbucks inside too. ☕️ I was rooming with a friend so I kindly went out in the hallway in the early hours of the morning to work and people were so kind! The food was all surprisingly good, the dancing was incredible! As a woman - just be careful late night.

Very disappointed in Borgata. Spent 3 nights there this past week for a business convention. We brought our team and booked 5 rooms. The day of arrival I called early to make sure our guests that were arriving a bit earlier then us would get a smooth check in and be using our card. I called and sat on the phone for an hour but the woman on the phone was nice and ensured me a smooth check in. She had me fill out credit card authorization forms and was charged $15 per room so they could use our card to check in. Once the first two guests were arrived, they had no notes of this and demanded to speak with the cardholder (which I am the cardholder - under the business) but because it wasn't under my name it was under the business owner's name - the actual room. This is understandable, but I also wanted to speak with the Manager to let them know that I had spoken to someone about this and wouldn't even talk to me on the phone through one of my employees' phones. Only wanted to speak with the owner of the business. Refused to get on the phone with me. Talks to the business owner finally and they got checked in. Once we arrived everything was fine however, they didn't use the card given for one of the rooms. So, I paid for credit card authorization, and they took the guest's card. VERY POOR COMMUNICATION between the hotel employees and very nasty manager. We get to the room, room was fine. Only complaint would be that if the shower head wasn't toward the wall there was a puddle on the floor after the shower. The 3rd night we were there we were at the BBar and our team had a table and chairs for a couple of hours. A few of us went to the bathroom and when returning wouldn't let us back in because it was a fire hazard. They watched us walk out and did not say anything. Poor communication yet again between their employees. Handled very poorly. I let the security guard know we had a table where half of our group was there, and a tab had been opened for a couple of hours. He said he would escort me to the bar to close the tab. Very unprofessional. It's like people sitting down at a restaurant that have a seat can't use the restroom and then are denied back in until people leave the bar. Completely avoidable if they were monitoring the bar from the beginning. There was a convention there and they should have accounted for more people than usual. Overall, I will not be staying here again. Next Year I will be returning to Cesar's. The team and I very excited to stay at Borgata this year and very unhappy with their customer service. Everyone seemed unhappy working there.

My wife and I stayed in the MGM towers side of the Borgata and it was beautiful. Our room was beautiful and clean. The hotel overall was clean and very nice. The food hall had decent options. And was open till roughly 3am. We would definitely stay here again for sure . It's not walking distance to the Outlets however it was still a less than 8mind drive away.

Beautifully decorated for the holidays! Had a nice time for a quick ladies night but the machines were not paying, we all lost pretty quickly and it smelled like cigarette smoke in every section of the casino. I miss the smoke free days! The comedy show was pretty funny but it starts at 9pm so don't go to bed early or you'll miss it! Also, Bread & Butter is super convenient for a late night bite but the prices are a bit high... Thank God for comp $$$

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be disappointed. The casino and hotel are pretty cool but its the Buffet open till 9 that has my heart. There is a really solid variety and I'm here a weekday off-season... Still really solid. Pretty diverse food options; they even have sugar free dessert items (which I think is gross but nice to see for people who need em).

What a fantastic time my family, friends and I had at the Borgata. There's so much to do. We experienced great service, good food, lots of laughs, and of course, the roller coaster fun of gambling. My vice is poker while others in my party enjoyed the slots. We had such a good time. All that we experienced made for great conversations on the ride home. Only knock, was the closure of some of the restaurants at the time we were there. Aside from that, we enjoyed our trip and are planning to go back soon. P.S. the Birthday magic is real!!!

What a great place. I got treated like a king from the moment I walked in the door. The slots and table games were amazing. The food and shopping was top notch with the buffet being my favorite. The Starbucks was busy as usual but the line was moving steady. Our room was spectacular and we both rested very well. I absolutely love the customer service by every staff member during our stay. It really seemed like anything we asked for or any questions we had were met with a smiling happy to help you staff member. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Sorry but I’ll be brutally honest. We came for the pool and spa show and I’ve never been happier to leave. The Room walls are super thin, so you hear everything. There are No bathroom vents or fans anywhere so all the shower smells, smoke and weed smells from other rooms travel throughout the entire floor. The fridges aren’t cold at all because they are in a cabinet, so why even bother having one. There are no room microwaves & the snack bars close at 5pm, so make sure you bring snacks. The pillows are thin and horrible. People are nice, but would not stay here again if I can help it. Prices for rooms are very good, but you’ll spend triple that for food & drinks, unless you go offsite. We did that a few times to save some money & we thought we’d die while doing it, so that was fun. Least the people were very nice. They get 5 stars.

They offer if available late check out ! 1 hr =free, 2 hrs $20 extra, 3 hrs $50 extra. Responsible since check out is 11am (during the week)-I stayed on a Wednesday night- low floor. (Not sure if different the higher up the floor is). The food court is open 24hrs in the MGM part of the hotel. Two room towers ! The shampoo and Conditioner are amazing! Not the cute little take away bottles - they do have some for sale if you love it! The part I found very interesting about the casino … they have smoking and non-smoking sections - but they are all connected so I’m not sure how they keep it ventilated… the non- which are near the smoking still smell! Seems odd to me! Would be awesome if they had Hookah this would step up their game quit a bit! They did have one of my favorite canned cocktails offered in their food hall! Can’t wait to be back to play slots and take long hot showers without the water running out! Cheers!
Stephanie M — Google review
I played the casino and lost but I had fun. I found my usual slot machine, Dragon Spin, moved to a corner with less traffic but translates to less service as well. I appreciated the free drinks while playing but I had to flag down 2 servers to finally get served. I can see they were understaffed on a Sunday. I ate dinner at the buffet and it was great. The host gave my elderly companion a chair while we wait for our table. It was packed! The food selections was noticeably less and one station was closed. The steak, salmon, mushroom ravioli and paella were my favorites. The sushi station looked sad and uninviting. I was hoping for oysters, crab legs or lobsters for the $38+ price but they did not have it. The $5 parking fee is unnecessary for the amount of money spent in the casino. It's still a great place to go for that Vegas feel without leaving the state.

This was my first time staying at the Borgata and it will not be my last. The staff were friendly. The casino dealers were in a good mood and willing to help people understand the table games better. Special shout out to Michael at the craps tables. He kept everyone in good spirits and gave me some pointers at craps. The room that I had was nice with a good shower in it. Overall I and an excellent stay at the Borgata.

Thought I was beautiful. We stayed in the new Wing where they didn't allow smoking in the rooms. So that wasn't too cool. The rooms are going to bug you in the pillows kind of stunk. The rest of the hotel was really nice though. Wonderful atmosphere to be in. The new pool is really nice too. You can smoke out there too. Even life of more money that I came in with

We stopped at the casino after not being here for a few years. The casino is still clean at well maintained. Nice to walk around and people watch. I don't gamble and am not a big drinker....I have had disappointing dining experiences in the past at casinos so skipped that as well. But if you enjoyed playing and a few cocktails it is the best casino in Atlantic City. I have also attended concerts here that were great.

I travel with a small service animal and am always nervous as to how hotels that aren’t dog friendly will handle my ada request. I was so impressed how professional and friendly the staff was. I loved that they gave me a sticker to identify my service animal and thus I got no questions about her all throughout the resort. The rooms are fantastic, the restaurants were incredible and the casino was a blast! Thank you Borgata for treating me and my service animal so well!!

The nicest hotel in Atlantic City without a doubt. Always extremely clean and set up nicely. Even when hotel has issues due to MGM hackers the staff made sure people were comfortable and happy. I have been here 3 times and have had nothing short of a fantastic experience every time. There are some good restaurants a short drive from the hotel but within the hotel are a number of great places to eat.

Literally the best casino layout I've ever been in and the best casino I've ever been in. It is a pinwheel and whatever you want to play is all in one spoke. This is the absolute best way to lay out a casino and the atmosphere is amazing along with the numerous selection of games from tables and slots It is the best in the country as far as I'm concerned

It's definitely my favorite casino in AC. I feel like I'm in Vegas. Its Clean, new spacious. Luxurious . Every game you want is there. Best part is you can bet the horses, unlike other AC casinos . Highly recommended. I'll eat there next time and review the restaurants. They looked amazing.

It was a nice stay. There was always something to do. It wasn't very busy when we went. Everything that we ate was delicious. As far as the rooms we found 2 lonely pistachios there when we walked which was interesting. There was hair all over the bathrooms behind the door and in the shower. Some items haven't been clean in a while. While using the public bathroom, I came across a stain on the door in the bathroom where I hung my pocket book it was unpleasant to see .

The casino experience in borgata was amazing. I loved their building how it stand tall and full of light in night in the Atlantic City. They have light show also on their building outside. Second thing i loved was there lift. It has a “good luck” tile in every language possible. That is impressive also when you enter a casino. They have very nice shops inside on the casino floor. You can eat, drink, play, stay or shop at the same place. The casino floor has nice and updated devices. The ceiling looked so dramatic. The staff or dealers at the tables were very friendly. It was one of the nice experience

Standard hotel, staff nice. They are cheap though for example they don't provide the rooms with robes, the shampoos and soaps are big bottles and they are locked down, I've never seen that at any other hotel. Usually you get mini soap bars and amenities. I was fighting a migraine and needed ibuprofen, at the vending machine, one pack of 2 tablets was $3.50. Absolutely ridiculous, capitalism at its finest. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Shame on you. They also have a note that says they retain the right to enter any room at any time.

Away from the boardwalk with easy access from the highway lies this luxury hotel and casino. Rooms were big and spotless with nice products and a large, roomy step-in shower with built in seat. The decor is lovely and there are many high end restaurants (make reservations) and cafeteria style eating in the lower level. I was there mid week and disappointed that there was no entertainment, no piano player, singer or lounge entertainment. I didn’t use the pool and spa so I cannot comment. Parking is under the hotel and the charge was $5 per night.

Always a great time. It’s on the nicer end of the AC hotel/casino spectrum and I found the staff to be extremely helpful. Plenty of options for food and drinks. It was an awesome place to watch March madness and do a little gambling. It’s a 7 minute car ride to pretty much everything else in the area and found Ubers to be marginally less expensive than the taxis they call for you by valet area. Overall, I would return.

I don’t know what the type is about this place. I came here to celebrate my birthday. I got a suite room looking to sleep in a kings size bed, but to my surprise it was a damn queen the same size bed at home. False advertisement. I had to switch my room due to the refrigerator not working, room not properly cleaned. Jessica the front desk lady was great and very understanding to my complaints. She switched my room. I had to call house keeping more than three times for bags for the trash cans in the room and for tissue. I ordered room service for breakfast. The food came cold and not fully cooked. I Had to wait for the other have of my breakfast to come back up. By that time I already lost my appetite. The hallway always had specks of garage on the floors. The only thing that was good about this place was the indoor pool and hot tub. Would I recommend No!

Disclaimer: I am not a casino person, so we stayed here to attend a comedy show. Where do I start? The location was great as it is away from the boardwalk, which was a plus. The staff were friendly and the room service was really good. The room! I disliked everything about the room (decor, furniture, and rugs). Housekeeping did a horrible job. The bathroom was not clean and the shower stall area needs a good makeover or grout cleaning. The hotel/casino had a very stale smell. They need a better ventilation system. The bed was very comfortable. I don’t need to stay here again.

We stayed at one of the suits at the Borgata. The room was big and was modern with a nice view over the city. We spend some of the nights at the casino where there was plenty of options of limits. The staff was quick with a drink. Restaurants are good. Breakfast buffet had what you need but it is like a classic all you can eat buffet with a lot of people and children and food that had been out for some time.

I stayed at the Borgata because Chris Rock had a show and it was just easier to stay at the same venue as the show. This casino has a nice lay out, the guest rooms are protected from the public and there are plenty of on site place to eat. The property overall is pretty, the exterior of the building is well kept and the parking garage has plenty of room. The only downside was one rude employee who refused to match my status that i had with other casinos. He gave me all that trouble only to have a higher up person give it to me in the end; the hassle could've been avoided.

Absecon Lighthouse

The Absecon Lighthouse stands tall over the Atlantic Ocean, offering sweeping views of Atlantic City and the New Jersey shoreline. The lighthouse is open for climbing during daylight hours only and may close in adverse weather conditions. The tower and grounds are also home to a museum with artifacts dating back to the mid-19th century.
Came in and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the lighthouse. They have a little free museum on the bottom floor and then you have to pay to walk up to the top of the lighthouse. The walk up will definitely let you know what physical shape you are in. The view is pretty good and worth visiting

This lighthouse is right in the middle of ALL the skyscraping casinos. The lighthouse gives perspective on what Atlantic City once was before it was a casino hub. It was a beautiful sunny spot. There was a small museum that was open to the public. There was a community garden and benches. It didn't appear to be open yet thr novelty of this lighthouse in the middle of ALL this city was pretty cool. If nothing else, this was a great opportunity for photo ops!
Debbie McDaniel — Google review
It was a fun experience as I had never been on top of a lighthouse before. The light house looks old and worn but I guess that connects it more to the history. The 228 stairs really add to the fun. The view from the top was very good though it would have been much better if it was closer to the ocean. So it was closer to the ocean in the past but they added land around there to protect the Island. The staff on top of the lighthouse was very informative and friendly and really excited to tell us the history of the lighthouse. He made our tour more interesting. Nice experience overall. But I would say it is the kind of place that depends on your interest and mood, definitely not must watch list.

Such a fun spot! Such great history and views! It is worth the fee ($10) to climb the tower and look out over Atlantic City. Such a fun visit, friendly staff and great little gift shop. Neat museum with excellent facts and history about the lighthouse. Thank you for a wonderful experience while I'm in town!

Excellent staff that are helpful and knowledgeable. This was another light house that we stopped at on our list of lighthouses to ride to. It is from the 1880's and even though it does not operate, you can still climb the 225 steps to the top to get a breath taking view of the city and ocean. Took our family of 5 here (3 kids ages 7,8,11) on day trip. There are a lot of steps! It was a bit overwhelming for my 7 year old daughter. I would suggest going when it is a fair weather day since the lighthouse is not climate controlled so when it is hot outside it’s even hotter inside the lighthouse. The man at the very top was full of info and facts and gave us cards that said we climbed the lighthouse. We did learn a lot and it was nice to do something together as a family. I would just recommend going when the humidity is lower and the temp outside is between 60 and 78. There is a little museum before you go into the actual tower. Ticket cost was $6 per kid 12 and under and $10 per adult. Enjoy !

We visited on our way back to PA from Cape May in mid-February. We had visited the Cape May lighthouse the day prior. There was an admission fee but definitely worth it. This is the tallest lighthouse in NJ and I think once of the oldest in the US. It’s 228 steps up to the top and very manageable with little nooks to step off into and take a peek out the windows on your way up. At the top you can go out onto the deck and walk around. It was not nearly as windy up there as it was the day before in Cape May and it gives you a birds eye view of AC. There was a very knowledgeable volunteer up at the top named Baird. He knew details about the lens and the history of the lighthouse. There was a little pamphlet we saw about ghost sightings or something but we didn’t notice anything. There was not a crowd in February however I imagine there could be in the summer months. There is a parking lot but we just parked in the street out front.

Fantastic bit of history. Staff are so friendly and helpful. You can walk into the main house and read about the history. For $10 you can climbs the stairs, DO IT!

Fantastic Old Lighthouse. The steps aren't as bad as it would seem. There are 6 platforms on your way up to go at your own pace. Although we went on a hot day in the 90's the Lighthouse was nice and cool inside. Once we reached the top Dan is the man of knowledge. Mr. Lighthouse as we called him was an incredible wealth of knowledge concerning the Absecon Lighthouse among all others on the East Coast. It was too nice to hear his true passion and love in what he does.

I love Absecon Lighthouse! The many historical facts I learned during my visit we're all very interesting. George Meade? Who knew? I think I'm going to find out if I can be a volunteer here. The view from the top is lovely even on a rainy day.

This is the tallest lighthouse in NJ. I believe it's the 3rd tallest in the US. You do have to purchase a ticket to go up to the top. Nice little museum inside as well. You can get a stamp here as well if you collect a stamp in your booklet, too. Parking is right in front on the street. It's definitely worth going up. Very friendly staff. 228 steps to go up.

If you have any interest in lighthouses and can climb stairs this is a great place to visit. They have lot of history and pictures of the light house and the First order Fresnel lens is still in the top. I forgot to take a picture of it though. The stairs are a copy of the original cast iron stairs and the rebuilt keeper house is the gift shop/ museum. I spent a few hours there but I read everything. If you just go to the top and come down you could do it in less then an hour.

Great local place to check out. $10 to climb the tower and worth it, a lot of interesting information and staff was friendly. 170 years old - oldest lighthouse in NJ. Still lit everyday until about 11pm. Thank you for all your efforts. Recommended to go see!

It was a great experience to be able to see a historical landmark, we got a very throughout explanation aT the top as well, very interesting. The kids loved climbing Up and being able to have a view from the top (It was a nice touch to have old photos along the way and see how the shore has changed over the years)

I visited an hour before closing time on Saturday. I got my ticket right away, had no issues. I did the light house climb at the top they had 2 older gentleman. They where very sweet and knowledgeable. They give you a cute little card at the end. If you are scared of heights it can be a little scary. I did this tour on my own and I was little shaken up coming back down. I had no issues going up. It was a beautiful view and a really nice breeze! I would definitely recommend!!

Absecon Lighthouse is the tallest Lighthouse in New Jersey, and 3rd tallest in the U.S. it's cool to see and if you come to Atlantic City, you should see it. $10 will allow you to climb to the top. The money goes to the museum up keep. There are volunteers that help here to keep it nice for people to visit. Check it out!

I first visited this magnificent lighthouse about 6 years ago. I did the 228 step climb and got to first meet Buddy. My most recent visit was this past 4th of July weekend. This time after finishing my climb I met Bayard. Both gentlemen along with the gentlemen that works downstairs are absolutely wonderful. They have such great knowledge about the history of the lighthouse and are just a delight to talk to. I am shocked that both Bayard and Buddy (well into their 80s and 90s) can still do the climb several days a week. Once you get to the top you can have a nice view of the area (with a breeze). They have a small museum and a cute souvenir shop as soon as you walk in. The fee for the climb is $10 and they have free parking in the back. I highly recommend anyone who loves lighthouses like I do to definitely make a point to check this place out. Even though I already done the climb twice, I will definitely come back for a third time!

It's definitely a must do activity with the family (not with young children). once you reach the top you'll receive a card of achievement. This is the 3rd largest lighthouse in the United States . Check out Groupon for a sweet deal 😉.

Went on the worst possible weather day, wind and driving rain. We couldn't go outside at the top, but they told us this in advance. Climbed to the top anyway for the experience. Staff were very, very kind and knowledgeable. The lighthouse is impressive and the walk up/down is actually a little nerve wracking due to the open metal grate steps. I'm sure it would've been much better on a nice weather day and with the opportunity to be outside on the viewing deck, but can't control the weather. Worth the visit if you are visiting the area.

Shopping
The Tanger Outlets Atlantic City is a popular shopping destination for tourists in the Shore. It features a variety of brand name and designer outlet stores. The outlet mall is located at 1931 Atlantic Ave. in Atlantic City.
I really like this shopping area. The hardest part is parking, but there are designated areas on street- about $1 per hour. This outlet is spread out, so you will have to walk some, but nice breeze. Great day of shopping today. Visit Tanger page to see the shops.

Lots of stores to shop from but! You feel most of the stuff is the left over especially Banana republic, H&M and Express. PRICES: There is no big of a difference in the prices and I believe they charge regular prices like anywhere else. instead if you shop at a regular mall you might find more clothes option and definitely better selection. Overall, Loved the place vibes and it’s a great place to walk. Also, it’s 7 min walk from Atlantic City Boardwalk. Parking & Valet parking are available for $15 until 7Pm.

A very attractive outside mall that spans several blocks. I personally prefer indoor malls with kitchy kiosks but this has designer and brand outlets. The Dollar tree is good. At the back there are clean restrooms. You can join up and get points and perks for $10. There are some restaurants and one vegan food restaurant. McDonald's and Starbucks. You'll definitely find something you like here. Very nice in good weather with nice outdoor tables and chairs and other seating.

This is a collection of mostly higher end stores. They are a outside walk about setting of about 2 blocks square. Like everywhere in AC parking will cost you. Walking distance from Ceasar's casino. Right next to the Sheraton Hotel. There is a Applebees next to this outlet center.

Lot of outlets. Kind of don't get it. It's a tourist destination. I feel like the city should be supporting and pushing LOCAL businesses in these spots instead of national ones that people can get literally anywhere. It's fine though.

The outlets over here have changed so much. I thought this was the best place to bargain hunt, but I was mistaken. Many of the stores that used to be here are gone. Even the Tanger coupon spot is gone. I don't like what I see out here. Looks deserted!

We had been to Atlantic City so many times , but never had the time to walk through tanger outlets . This time we did it . It was awesome . Lots of good shops and nice deals . We went to vans , pandora , bath body , and also had our food in applebies. Nice and relaxing time . 2 negatives though - no shops have restrooms for customers and no 2 - parking is a mess. .if not for these 2 disadvantages, this is a nice place to visit . Shopping 🛍 is good here . Overall a good experience 👍👍👍

I had the pleasure of visiting this outlet and we love it. I purchased my boys a personalized baseball cap from lids, shopped around for more inexpensive like at the Levi's store as well. Afterwards we enjoyed some ice cream cones and pretzels. This place is a one stop but for plenty of shopping and shoppers. Loved it.

Sandwich shop
White House Sub Shop is a no frills joint that has been around since 1946, and is famous for their submarine sandwiches. The menu features simple subs like the cheesesteak submarine and the White House special (an Italian sandwich with extra meat), all served on a fresh roll. With celebrity visitors ranging from Frank Sinatra to Oprah Winfrey and the Beatles, this place is definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for a good sandwich.
I never thought you could make a sandwich so much better than every other sandwich I've had but this place was able to do it. Bread was just a tad hard on the outside but super soft on the inside. The hot pepper relish stuff that was on this sandwich was the best part. Mellow spice that lingers but in the best way possible. First time going here and will take the two hour trip on the future to go back

The Meatball Sub ... I am in heaven! Homemade meatballs that had a perfect texture covered in a delicious tomato gravy ... the service was everything you would expect from an old-school sandwich shop, and the atmosphere was loud and busy as well ... Perfect!

It was our first time eating here and it was a cool spot. Good vibes, good food and the sandwiches are humongous.. If you order a half its like ordering 2 reg sandwiches and a whole is like ordering 4 reg sandwiches. They are rrally good! We ate there and ordered one to go too!! I would come again. I recommend!

After checking in at Harrah's on Tuesday for National EMS Conference, took a short ride to a place we've never been to in all the year's we have visited Atlantic City. Enjoyed 2 very delicious Jersey Shore Subs, Kit had Turkey and I indulged on the White House Special with the works including the hot pepper spread. The rolls are different from North and Central New Jersey. It's more dense, nice crunch and delicious!!!

White House Subs is famous for their subs and with good reason, they're delicious. The staff is great, very hard working people with smiles on their faces. I've never seen a server so busy, but handles everything perfectly...
Lou Esposito — Google review
The service was every bit of five stars, and if I could give Six, I would. I tried and ate the White House Special. Wow, what a sub sandwich. I've had easily a few hundred subs in my life all throughout New Jersey, and this by far is the best tasting, fully packed with meat, and best price for the immense size in the state. I also tried and finished a half tuna, and it was as packed with tuna as you could possibly fit between two sides of a loaf of realy good quality bread as you can enjoy. The lettuce tomato, onions, and chopped hot pepper spread were all crunchy, fresh, and great tasting. This is a must stop for every visitor to Atlantic City, and if you've never had one, you're definitely missing out on a great experience. The establishment is friendly and fast serving. The seating is tight.

Been here a couple times in the last few months. No-nonsense. Excellent sandwiches. Busy. The egg and pepper sandwich wasn't my favorite last time, but chicken cheese steak was excellent. Too much large chunks of lettuce. My boss loved his Italian sub.
Ryan Schwartz — Google review
I’m from Texas and visiting AC, few customer told me about this place and how great it is and how they would just drive an hour or so just to come. Well I grow up in NJ and let me tell you. It’s probably the worst over hype place. We had Whole Cheesesteak with mushrooms, onion and side of sweet crushed pepper, they don’t even have jalapeño lol. So the sandwich is mostly just plain, no favors, bread was just cold, not even toasted. The steak is tough and no separation of the meat and tasteless. The service is pushy and no really care to communicate Atmosphere is just ok with history behind it. This place might have the history but not in these days. For me I will not drive or visit any time soon. Over all it suck.

Delilah was our server. She made it a great experience. Fun and witty. The subs were amazing. Their homemade Hot pepper relish was really good. They gave us samples that we had to put on our subs. I recommend the hamburger and the Italian subs. The 1/2 sub is 9 inches and their large is 18". The place has pictures of important people who have ate there and is known all over. Definitely recommend at least going once.
Michael Smoker — Google review
We almost always make this stop whenever we're in Atlantic City.  Can't go wrong with their White House Special.  $19.60 for the whole sub.  It's humongous, making you feel like you're carrying a yard stick.  But buying whole isn't any cheaper, value-wise, than buying half so later on we got smarter and started getting Meat Ball Submarine for the other half for variety. We've always had to wait for our orders, ranging from 30 to 45 minutes. So that's a negative. Another negative is that staff have always been on the rude side, maybe it's because they're always swamped, but it doesn't feel good to be on the receiving end of their bad manners.

Sub was iconic, fresh and delicious. Definitely get the hot and the sweet peppers..and extra. Well worth the trip there. Service was great and the vibe was very nostalgic and very Jersey. Really enjoyed the experience

We’ve heard about this fabled spot for years. Finally made it to Atlantic City and White House did not disappoint. Two of us split a half White House Special and it was delicious. The bread, the meat and the toppings were first rate. . Service is abrupt, but who cares? There’s another location in the Hard Rock but for first-time visitors the original is a must.

I didn’t want to eat at a chain restaurant and this was the best place I could find within walking distance of Caesar’s. Great find! You know it’s great when locals frequent and talk up how often they order… simply amazing! Great quality ingredients especially the beef! They slice it all raw themselves! Great attentive service! Delicious!

My Friend was visiting from New Hampshire. She had hear about wanted to experience White House Subs. I dropped her off and she went in to place the order and I rode around to find parking. It took me a few times around the blocks but came across one spot near front. There is a parking lot that you can pay $15.00 nearby though. I noticed signs in nearby business warning people not to park for sub shop. I also saw tow trucks in area. Anyway when I got in food was ready for me to eat and it was amazing.

Seafood restaurant
Hooked Up Seafood is a family-owned establishment that offers outdoor seating by the waterfront. They serve fresh seafood sourced directly from the sea, ensuring high quality and authenticity. Captain Bill Bright, an experienced Atlantic Ocean fisherman, brings in fish from his own boat and others. The restaurant prepares swordfish, tuna, tilefish, and other varieties in-house and serves them in sandwiches, tacos, or on platters with traditional sides.
Very fresh seafood that you can enjoy on benches facing the boat that was used to catch the seafood. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Classic no frills seafood shack but definitely super fresh fish. Both parents absolutely loved the John Dory sandwich, one grilled one pan fried and said they would never have come to “a shack like this” had I not looked it up beforehand. Not super vegetarian friendly, but that’s why you don’t bring a vegetarian to a seafood shack. Still would recommend!

There is so much I can say about this place. The service is wonderful and some of the most friendly individuals you will meet at a Wildwood eatery!!!! I go here ever summer when I visit my auntie!!! Todays visit was no difference!!! The food eaten there or taken home is always as fresh as you’re gonna get!!! Top Tier freshness and very tasty!!! 😋 today was swordfish and scallops! Of course we also got the classic fried shrimp, coleslaw and corn!!! Brought it back to my aunts place too and none of us were disappointed!!! Love it here!

I’ve been coming to Wildwood for a week vacay for the last six years from the Annapolis (Severna Park) area. Raised on the Maryland/Delaware beaches. Found hooked up six years ago and been going there since. Was there last night, today for lunch and going for hard shells tomorrow. Awesome family, very personable and excellent service and food. Highly recommend it, The owner catches the majority of the fish and seafood from what what I understand. Mike K.

Keep coming back. If your looking for FRESH NON FROZEN seafood down the shore this is the place. Awesome laid back atmosphere on the water. Watched the fish being cut fresh and served shortly after. Nothing quite like a small family business that serves up the freshest food around. Brought some beers and had the best food and time with my family! Would 100% recommend.

Fresh crabs, stop searching! Called and they were out but said call back at X time.. I did.. Crabs just came in... Fresh.. Ordered 18 crabs and they were amazing! Couple notes - 1 - if you are visiting from our if town they down sell the crackers to break down the legs. Only the mallet. 2 - they don't clean unless you ask. But they were amazing and easy to clean. 3 - thanks to my friend Mike R. Who referred me to this place! Great choice and decent pricing. Enjoy!

As quintessential a seafood shack as you can get. Whatever they catch goes on the menu: yellowfin, mahi mahi, swordfish. You can’t get seafood any fresher. If the prized John Dory finds its way on the menu, stop what you’re doing and get there as fast as you can.
Christian Polidoro — Google review
Easily the best place in Wildwood for off-the-boat fresh seafood. The u-peel shrimp and clams in butter/lemon/garlic are unbelievable. Some other places have broths that taste like a whole lot of nothing, and Hooked Up is definitely not one of those places. Will definitely be back to try their chowder fries and have another round of clams ASAP!
Claudia Gavin — Google review
Decided to try this small restaurant after driving past it on our way to the beach. We liked that everything was fresh and the tacos were much bigger than expected! Felt it was a little overpriced for what we got and wished it had been seasoned a little more, but otherwise it was good! We got the yellowfin tuna tacos and kids fish plate.
Casandra Bennett — Google review
Quickly fresh-made delicious food served with a smile. I should give it 4½ stars really because they charge an extra dollar or two everywhere they can. But the TASTE IS TREMENDOUS !! It's located at 1044 W Rio Grande Ave, that means it's between the NJ Parkway and the bridge into Wildwood. DELICIOUS FOOD !!! "Hooked Up" has a display area, a specials board, an order window, and a pier side picnic area. See photos below. We ordered the fried crab cakes platter, a dozen steamed blue claw crabs, and the blackened swordfish steak sandwich. That swordfish sandwich was OUT OF THIS WORLD !!! Hooked Up Seafood is a tourist place for sure, but it is worth every penny. I highly recommend you go there and try anything on the menu. You will love it. .

Farmers' market
Sights & Landmarks
Beach Plum Farm is a 62-acre working farm in West Cape May, offering visitors the chance to stroll through its grounds and enjoy farm-to-table dining at its stand. The farm raises ethically treated chickens and Berkshire hogs, as well as grows an array of flowers and vegetables available for purchase. Guests can also attend family-style dinners featuring dishes made from the farm's produce.
My husband and I love to ride our bikes around Cape May. Our usual trip is from the lighthouse into town to browse the shops and have lunch. We decided to take a little detour to Beach Plum Farm which is just a few minutes ride from the lighthouse. This is a beautiful farm where they cook and sell what they grow. We enjoyed a lunch of ricotta, radishes, and sourdough bread as well as a ham and cheese frittata with greens on the side from the kitchen. Visitors can also easily grab a bite to eat at their market which sells produce, packaged goods, and drinks. There are lots of picnic tables to enjoy the great outdoors as well. After walking through the gardens, we toured the rest of the grounds on bike to see the pigs, honey bees, and greenhouses. We most certainly will go back!
Diane Pustizzi — Google review
Really cool experience getting to free roam a working farm and see the different aspects of the freshly grown produce and herbs as well as the various farm animals scattered about the property. We stopped to grab some sandwiches as well and they were phenomenal as all ingredients were fresh from the farm. Be advised that they are a bit pricey running around $15 for a breakfast sandwich with meat. The farm stand is fully stocked with fresh meats and produce as well as delicious jams and marinades made from items harvested on site.

We have heard about Beach Plum all of our times down in Cape May and finally made the effort to go yesterday morning. It's very serene and tucked away that you really would have no idea what's back there! We did not stay here, but came to the market and cafe to grab a snack and walk around the gardens. Plenty of outdoor seating and the food is fantastic! A nice excursion from all the beach related activities in the area.

Visited Beach Plum Farm while in Cape May for a few days with my sister. The farm is beautiful and the market is so quaint. Wide variety of goods made on site. Did the farm tour and had a wonderful time! Our guide was personable and knowledgeable, sharing the history of the farm along with so much insight into the farming operations. Highly recommend the tour! All staff members were very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed that the market kitchen was closed due to prepping for a large event as we were hoping to try some of the breakfast and lunch items. The fresh flowers are stunning and the baked goods are absolutely worth the price. This would be an absolutely beautiful wedding or event venue. Can't wait to visit again and experience the farm to table dinner series!

If you enjoy Cape May as much as I do you probably already know how awesome beach plum is but if not you MUST check it out. First the farm is beautiful all year around but especially in the spring and summer. Lots of stuff to look at and see best part is theres no cost to walk the farm. But I do recommend supporting and buying some fresh produce and eggs :) I also had the lunch there a few times and it was amazing. The chef truly cares and it reflects that in their small but excellent menu. You can eat outside next to the gardens and enjoy a campfire as well. Its a must do if your in cape may you will be glad you went

We stumbled upon Beach Plum Farm while out for a bike ride. I've been coming to Cape May for better than 30 years without realizing it existed. The entrance is very unassuming, a gravel drive with a small "Farm Stand" sign. I thought we'd find a shed with a bit of local produce. It's much more than that. They have a lovely store with an attached kitchen. You can enjoy a good (though a bit pricey) meal in their garden. They welcome you to explore the fields behind the stand. I was surprised there was so much open space back there overlooking the salt marsh. We've put it on our list of things to do the next time we get back to Cape May.

Beautiful "stuff" for adults and fun for kids ...and for adults who like free-roaming chickens. Upstairs and downstairs you'll find lots of things goodbye for your beach house. Downstairs you'll find lots of food items. There's a little cafe restaurant in the back that wasn't open when we were there. Outside, there is a big garden area and some walking trails which are nice. I'd rather bring a bike than walk ... Go visit the little piggies, they are absolutely adorable and very colorful. ... And then there are the chickens right at the store. Bring quarters for yourself or your kids and as soon as you get near the feed machine, they will come round. However, they are chickens and at such are not so easy to pet. :-) The only downside is the prices. Everything is pretty much ridiculously expensive and that's why I'm not bothering to post much about that.

Beautiful farm and concept! Did not have time to eat or walk the trails but would have loved to. The food looked delicious! I was very disappointed that the body products sold under their name (lotion, soap, shampoo) are made in China. I purchased some thinking they were made there but saw the small print at home.

It was amazing! Quaint, scenic, beautiful. The atmosphere was lovely with hummingbird, scenic garden, and chickens. The food was delicious. My girlfriend and I got the egg, cheddar, sausage sandwich, frittata, and liverwurst. All of which we certainly would have again. Would definitely come back!

Gorgeous event. Wish I could have my wedding there but I'm absolutely broke. The food is delicious and the produce is fresh. Havent stayed at the rooms so I can't rate it. Probably just as nice. Excited to go back when the back farm is open so I can see the piggies

My wife and I had a fantastic Sunday brunch here. Manager Ed was helpful and informative, making excellent recommendations, and he treated us like VIPs. The food was top notch, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the property is a beautiful, scenic backdrop for this culinary experience. We can’t wait to book a cottage and try the dinners!

Very nice location and delicious food. Enjoyed both of our visits. Kid friendly as well, which is an added bonus. Beautiful garden setting with free roving chickens. Definitely try the open face tomato sandwich.

I've lived in South Jersey almost all my life and I never knew this place existed. It's a beautiful setting; you can bring your own food and beverages and they have a wonderful store where they sell assorted goods made on site. It's a great place to spend a nice afternoon or evening.

The two-leveled gift shop held so many unique treasures (and I shop a LOT). Staff were so helpful❤️. We had a wonderful birthday celebration enjoying snacks from the shop around the fire pit; so cozy! Walked the grounds and really liked the “secret garden”. I want to visit in every season. They were setting up the barns for an event that looked charming. I finally found a real kielbasa in the shop - they raise and make their own…now I don’t have to go all the way to Phily🎉

Cool place to visit, cute shop, but skip the harvest dinner. $300 for the two of us to awkwardly share an unevenly distributed amount of food with 8 strangers at a communal table. Everything was a bit boring, extremely average, except the entree (chicken) which was dry and not good. They had a little complimentary alcohol available before we sat for dinner, so that was a lovely surprise, but dinner is BYO. We are foodies and we splurge often, but this dinner just isn’t worth the cost. But I’ve heard great things about their brunch/lunch so hope to try that soon.

Beach Plum Farms is one of the only farms in the Cape May area so I decided to check it out. They have a farm to table restaurant I didn’t get to check it out but I’m sure it was good. I bought some eggs, tomatoes and fresh bread from the store. And I got a chance to see some chickens and if you go further back there are a few pigs. My experience was good I highly recommend you check it out.

Came here for the first time for a farm to table dinner. The property is beautiful. Had a frost a few days ago so we missed the true beauty of the gardens. There were about 60 people there for dinner. It is a family style dinner. Which I like because it makes you talk and meet perfect strangers. The food was very good. The service was also very good. We will definitely be back.

We went to the farm to table dinner series in august of 2022 and it was the best food ever. The whole experience was amazing so we figured it would be just as great going back for the fall series 2023. We were sadly mistaken. The portions were much smaller and everything was brought out so quickly it was hardly an experience. It felt so rushed. I wanted to go out to dinner after because I was still hungry! At these prices you should not be left wanting more. We sadly will not be returning because it’s just not worth it anymore.

Did their fall dinner series last night and it was terrible. $150 per person and it was a complete cluster. Half of the time we didn’t even get the appetizers that were served as it was done family style. The pork was so tough that we couldn’t even eat it. We literally left and went out to dinner. Would never recommend this and anyone who said that it is going to give Bluehill at Stone Barns a run for their money is completely delusional.

My recent stay at Beach Plum Farm was nothing short of exceptional. As a luxury travel designer, I'm constantly in search of hidden gems, and this resort exceeded all expectations. The level of service provided was truly impeccable. What sets Beach Plum Farm apart is its unparalleled commitment to providing a unique experience. Where else can you wake up to fresh-baked bread, farm-fresh eggs, uncured butter, and hand-picked veggies delivered right to your suite? It's a culinary experience like no other, and it perfectly complements the luxurious atmosphere. The resort's dedication to delivering such fresh and locally sourced ingredients is a testament to their commitment to excellence. I wholeheartedly recommend Beach Plum Farm to anyone seeking a one-of-a-kind, farm-to-table luxury getaway

I did not stay here came for breakfast or lunch food wasn’t great, forks are in a community bucket gross. I had to put milk in my coffee from a milk container that is not refrigerated and was slimy. It’s like this place strives to be a family picnic but these people are family. It is cute . That is the reason I’m giving it a 3 otherwise I do not rd amend eating here.

As always, Beach Plum Farm was charming and fascinating. Super cute boutique-y farm experience, and a great place to add to your “must see” Cape May checklist. Just be aware that it is pricey, and can be quite busy. Best in off-season, in my opinion.

This Jersey Shore institution is well-known for its no-frills seafood dishes, and can be a bit of a wait on weekends. The food is both delicious and affordable, making it a great choice for seafood lovers. You can also bring your own drinks and snacks to the parking lot while you dine.
So delicious. If you love seafood. This place is for you. Especially if you want it at a reasonable price. Absolutely love their garlic seafood bake. Just amazing. Next time I'll take photos as they won't be here Long.

1st time here. We'd heard a lot about it. All positive! The first thing I will tell you is that they are only open from 4:30 -9:30 PM and they're closed on Tuesdays. The second thing I will tell you is that they are perpetually packed! It is not at all uncommon for there to be a two hour wait. You can try the outdoor counter seating but that is packed as well. Parking is also something of an issue. The staff is amazing! Everyone had a smile and was very nice. Super efficient! It's controlled chaos for sure. I ordered a bowl of New England clam chowder that was delicious! The main course was fried shrimp and french fries. Both were excellent. I spoke to people who said they'd been coming here for 45 years and that everything they serve is wonderful. The prices are also very reasonable. All in all, 4 stars. One star off for the wait time and parking.

One of my favorite fish stops in Ocean City, love that you can just bring your own drinks and chill in the parking lot while eating your grub

Excellent experience. A beautiful evening by the water. BYOB and expect tonsit and relax for an hour outside with your family and friends before eating. Well known landmark for many years. Casual attire, relaxed atmosphere. Eat in or outside and the counter.great cod bite appetizers, and seafood over pasta. We all had something different...all very tasty

I was lucky enough to visit before they close after summer, Smitty's had a full time clam guy shucking clams and he let me try one, super fresh, a lot different than oysters but well worth a try. The white clam chowder was really good, creamy with chunks of clam and probably the best I had so far.

Phenomenal seafood shack. Great vibes. Casual, noisy, fun and always packed. Get there early and tailgate with a few beers in the parking lot while you wait for a table.

Always on the list of must haves when we are down the shore. Expect to wait at least an hour. It’s a BYOB so you can hang in the parking lot overlooking the bay while you wait with a cold one. Rotating specials menu. Great meals. No A/C so it can be a little warm but that adds to the atmosphere. Cash only.

If you’re looking for a place to eat in the Somers Point/Ocean City area this is the place to go! The food is amazing. If you’re a seafood lover you’ll be in heaven. Fresh seafood all the time. The food and service is amazing and everyone working there is the best! If you can’t get a seat inside since the wait will most likely be an hour or two, I would recommend doing take out. Their take out service is fast an easy and food is still just as great as it is there. Also if someone with you isn’t a seafood person, they have some of the best chicken fingers and also have a great cheese steak and pizza steak! (just a little tip).

A fun, low-key space. The nicest employees! “hide” you beer with a cup provided by the parking attendant (who also passes out sidewalk chalk to the kiddos to entertain themselves while waiting for a table). Saw that most tables bring their own coolers in for their table. Good fried seafood at a cool spot!

I came here with a group of 5, we were told the wait would be 45 minutes but we were seated within 30 minutes. If you are thinking about going, do it

Restaurant
The Red's Lobster Pot restaurant is a well-known and beloved seafood spot on the Jersey Shore. The menu features all your favorite beach dining favorites, such as fried oysters, steamed clams, mussels, and lobster dishes. With seasonal specials always in play, this seafood house has something for everyone to enjoy.
This place is a wonderful experience. I have gone here many times. This time my wife took me for my 40th birthday as a surprise. I was quite excited. Staff is always polite. Food is wonderful with great chucks of everything. This trip around food tasted good had nice pieces of lobster. I had the salmon which was good. Upon coming home about 2 hours later well I got sick for the rest of the nice. Which is why food is rated 4. Things do happen and believe if they are working especially with seafood all day and not cleaning there board these things can happen. Lucky it was a mild case. Yes I would go again. This is my favorite place.

Finally got the chance to dine at Reds and I have to say I was VERY pleased! Our waitress was super friendly and checked on us often to make sure everything was ok. Ordered the mussels, the lobster Mac and cheese and the lobster roll, all of which were great. It's byob, so I brought my own bottle of wine but seems they actually have some wines to choose from. Overall between the service, the food and the ambience of sitting on the water watching the boats go by I'd definitely recommend dining at Red's.
Maddie Dee — Google review
All the good reviews might be more about the location than the food. Reds sits right on the dock at the Point Pleasant/ Manasquan inlet. Your table might look out over their lobster boat. The location and setting is pretty near a perfect 10. From the food stand point; The lobster roll (hot) was dried out like it had sat under a heat lamp way to long. Clams were over priced and very sandy. Again you expect some grit with clams on the half shell but not mouths full. Service was slow, prices were high. The whole lobster was very expensive but a bit more tasty than the dried out lobster roll If you want the views, sea gulls and great feel of being on the water, Reds is perfect. If you want a great sea food meal I have to rate Reds average or below.

"This is a lobster house, no crabs allowed." The sign proudly hung on the entrance. Red's Lobster House (not to be confused with the franchise Red Lobster) is a pier side restaurant with a family oriented atmosphere. The staff are cheery, welcoming, and attentive. My group was placed in outside seating which gave us a fantastic view of boats going by, however the restaurant also has indoor seating. The food was great, simple yet executed expertly. I had the lobster roll, which was worth every dollar. My group also ordered a pitcher of sangria which was refreshing. The alcohol menu is limited to a few wines so if you're not accustomed to the taste of fermented grape juice I suggest you bring your own bottle. If you have a craving for lobster and don't mind the fees, lobster is priced at market value, I see no reason not to come.

Love love this place! Excellent lobster roll and crunchy fish & chips! Had the half dozen clams on half shells and half dozen oysters on half shells, fresh, fresh fresh!

We went there for lunch. We were seated right away and we were outside on the deck. It was a Wednesday mirror of the week so not a lot of traffic, but at night it’s very busy. My sister ordered crabcake sandwich, it comes with fries and coleslaw. I ordered a special, a grilled blackened swordfish sandwich on a brioche Bun with tomato and romaine lettuce,, it came with coleslaw and french fries. we both enjoyed our meal very much. My sister’s crabcake was full of lump, crab meat and seasoned just fight. My sword fish fillet was thick and seasoned just right. It was very juicy. The fries were hot and crispy, the coleslaw was also delicious. I highly recommend Reds lobster Pot restaurant.

Really nice place right next to the water. They have indoor as well as outdoor dining. It was really full when we came.in but the wait staff found us a spot really quickly. We ordered the blackened shrimp tacos and the fish & chips. Both were amazing, especially the tacos. Very good food, a little bit on the pricey side but the serving sizes are quite large (can easily be shared between two people).

The view was amazing! We sat outside next to the water. Great service too. We had the lobster raviolis hasn't appetizer, the stuffed flounder and pistachio encrusted halibut. All were very good. We would definitely go back. They do have some wine selections there but it's also BYOB.

My family has been going here for years whenever we are down the shore. The location is great with a view of the river and the boats. It is one of the best sea food places in the area. The staff is very nice and friendly. The food is always fresh. I think their batter used for the fish and chips and fried clam strips is delicious. I look forward to coming back each season.

Red's is 100%. My family and I have had several different competitor places in the immediate area, as we do every year during our time in Point Plesant while visiting family. So its an annual look going back a decade. Red's has taken the cake for quality, freshness, service and atmosphere. They have made a few changes over the years and they have all been for the better. If you food is not up to par, it simply won't be served. We had the manager/owner(? Sorry I don't know ?) tell us there would be no lobster bisque served after ordering as it was simply not ready to be served and was not currently the quality they would like to put out. That my friend is what is known as high class. And I thank you Red's, for it. We all do. Make a reservation early because at the pace Red's is setting, its going to be unseatable in the busy season if you don't.
