**Museum Visit Review** I had a very disappointing experience at the museum. The staff was incredibly rude and controlling throughout my visit. Despite the main attraction, the Bronzi di Riace, being inaccessible, they still insisted on selling me a full-price ticket. This museum is the only one in all of Italy that was actually built as a museum and has remained that way since it was built. All displays have detailed information about the items. They take you through the very early part of the historical times up to and including the two bronze full body statues that were recently retrieved from the Mediterranean sea. A marvellous museum with many works from excavations from the numerous areas and towns of Italian Magna Graecia. Enormous amounts of didactic information on the complex archeological history of the area. On a less positive note, at least in late September, the museum is besieged with large Northern European tour groups which makes accessing the museums “crown jewels” the Bronzes of Riace, something of a trial as there is a tedious timed air lock access system which you have to navigate before gaining access to the Holy of Holies.

Delicious! It’s such a famous place in Reggio and of course you’re always gonna find a line of people waiting. The place its really small and full but the taste is amazing. The employees are not that noticeable, just normal people that try to smile during their shift, giving you exactly what you’re asking for and then moving to the next person. It’s not necessarily something bad, they are trying their best to serve everyone and I guess the space situation it’s frustrating for them as well so no need to blame if they don’t smile or say nice things. The store has a big choice of ice cream with some originals too, but even the simple one are delicious. If you pass by and you have the patience to wait, it’s worth to try it. Didn’t even had time for the picture, was looking so delicious that we forgot the existence of phones.
