A lovely place to visit the beach is very long so lots of room to find your perfect spot a nice walk along the beach front and a wooded area to walk around with a carpark in between the beach and wooded area great day out.

Visited this beach twice on our last holiday. Nice and flat area plenty of beds to hire. The guy who rented out the beds was so nice, having noticed I had walking issues he found someone who could translate for him to inform me that if I wanted to go into the sea he could arrange for the lifeguards to take me in. Thought that was so sweet of him.

The slides are good, but we went on a Friday. Very busy, waited 45 mins for the big zigzag! Waiting times for others were around 15-25mins each. Floor gets very hot and life guards over policed which took anyway some of the fun. But if you have kids that like to go off and do they own thing while you chill out on the sun loungers you know they will be safe. Also felt like a cash cow, parking €5, locker €5, sunbeds €3, food not cheap and they want to sell you photos….. Tips:- take your own food, have lunch early and use slides at lunchtime. Take slide-on foot wear that you can wear up to the rides and then slip them onto your wrists and slide down with them (it’s what the locals do)

It's pretty average and dated unfortunately with some rides inefficiently managed and causing long lines eg zigzag. For what it is it's overpriced. Hopefully they'll update it soon.

Went on a Sunday which was a mistake as it was very busy. A weekday would have been better probably. Queues were about 30-45 mins per slide. Speedy passes were 15Eur for 6 uses, or 37Eur for all day. Quite pricey. You get the impression management make the queues slow to encourage speedy pass purchase. 5Eur parking. 5Eur for standard bed. Four poster day beds 25Eur. Various VIP packages. I suppose they are trying to make up for a couple of years lost business. Nonetheless, kids enjoyed it. That was enough.

Nice place. Has 3 cafeterias with snacks. And a lot of space for picnics. But a little crowded, so there're long lines everywhere.

After reading lots of reviews about aquopolis I nearly didn't book it. However, I thought about it and most reviews are written from bad experience and rarely good experience. So I wanted to give it the benefit of doubt and go anyway. I bought my tickets online as id read in the reviws that was the best thing to do so you can get straight in. We got to the water park at 11am to join the queue early. Mainly so we had a better chance of choosing a good base for us to spend the day. Once we got in we decided to go for a bahli bed as it ofered good cover from the sun. This cost €50 for the day. And it was right by the kids pool so we could look over our son whilst he was in the kids pool. for a family of 3 it cost (2 adults 1 child) €31.95 x2 and €25.95 x1. I also bought the speedy passes which at €38 each was alot of extra money and not exactly a bargain but it definitely made the quiuing experience alot better for me and my son. You get to jump straight to to front of the queue for when you are collecting the ring or mat for the boomerang/blackhole/rapid and hydroracer. This alone saves you about a 20/30min wait. Once you get your ring or mat you unfortunately do not queue jump the queue for the slide. But, your turn does come round quick enough. We did however queue jump the mini zig zag which requires no float. You can whiz down it and run straight back up to go again jumping the queue which was great because my son loved that slide. There is 3 of these and we found the slide closest to queue lane the fastest! The life guards are very much alert when it comes to safety and height restrictions. Which is good but annoying at the same time. My son is about 118cm and we queued all the way up to the top to go on boomerang. When it was our turn to go down the slide the lifeguard asked for my son to stand against the size chart and he was 2cm too short for the ride.... he was gutted that he wasn't allowed to go on. But, rules are rules and they are there for a reason so make sure you double check your kids height before choosing to queue! His height allowed him to go on the = Hydroracer, blackhole, rapids, mini zig zag. The food is typical fast food you would expect at a place like this. Bit pricey low quality. We took our own drinks in a cool bag. Beers, soft drinks and water. That helped keep the cost down. All in all I think the day cost about 300 euros. It was my birthday so I wanted to do it the best way for maximum enjoyment. I had fun and so did my son. Would I go again? Yes but not in a hurry. I did speak to other families who had been before and they said that normally the waterpark is way more busier than it was. This was a Sunday. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

On Friday the 13th of August we went to Aquapolis for a day. It opens at 12 o’clock which is pretty late. Everybody is coming at the same time, so you have to wait for a very long time in the car park in the burning sun. No guidance what so ever. The queues for the slides are very long and it all went very slow. The lifeguards are not the most friendly people and they constantly whistle for everything. Nothing is allowed. Some of the pools are dirty as well (hair etc.) It is called an aquapark, but you spend more time outside the water due to the waiting times. You pay a lot of money to get in and it suppose to be a nice day out for everyone. Unfortunately It felt like a labour camp. Never ever again!

Super expensive if you don't order the tickets weeks in advance. The real price is OVER 30€. The online prices are just tourists traps. Yes we enjoyed our time but it wasn't super special and we had luck of being in a not super crowded day. No families discount or whatsoever... Food inside is super basic and expensive, there is a bunch of VIP (aka pay for some shade) and lots of annoying workers asking you take pictures from you. The only thing I liked and I'm not complaining about is the girl animating the Zumba music and dancing in the water (5 stars for her alone). I STRONGLY advise you to bring your own food AND water (tap water there has a super nasty taste). And the last and worst thing, after asking them in the front desk if there were discounts, they told us a plain "no", only group discounts for 20+ groups ordering the tickets in advance, BUT next day, we find the discount from the pictures in the tourist info center...

Fantastic water park. Perfect for families of any age. Would highly recommend. Lots of choice of rides and activities and the staff were on it. A little too efficient maybe only allowing one round of the lazy river before having to queue again. But a fantastic place with decent food and okay process for a full-day attraction. Will definitely go again

Went to Aquapolis in Torrevieja. Booked online tickets on phone 21 euros each so you don’t need to print them off just make sure you can see barcode. We went early due to the reviews. Got in the car park at 10.45 you pay on entry 5 euros. There was a queue already. By the time they opened the doors at 11.30am the queue was right round the car park so glad we went early. Sun beds 5 Euro each so starts to add up. It cost 125 for 6 adults entry and 30 for sunbeds and we took our own drinks and food. We considered all inclusive but that would have been around 468 euros. Would not recommend this unless you are living on the rides all day due to massive queues as it gives you fast track. We did rides in first half hour before queues got bad. Then spent most time at wave pool if you can call it that. Lazy river don’t bother. Park was clean good facilities toilets and showers. To wear sunglasses at pool you need sunglasses cord to secure them otherwise lifeguards blow their whistle constantly to get them off. Car park was easy to leave about 5pm no traffic issues. We had a chilled day but would have been expensive with fast track which makes this park too expensive for what it offers as quite small. They need to lower fast track cost for me to say it is a 4 star.

Decent Waterpark with good selection of rides but after the first hour once the park filled up the queues were long (approx 1hr for the Black Hole). The queue discipline was poor at the entrance with lots of people pushing in from the sides. Queueing lanes (like they have for the rides) would have reduced this pushing in. Worth getting tickets in advance (we got a 25% discount voucher with a leaflet at the tourist office) and arriving 30-45 mins before the official opening time to join the queue. Cheap deal available if you want to return within a week.

My daughter had the most amazing time at this water park and loved every minute! The best thing about it was most of the water slides had rings you sit in to go down so you didn’t injure your back. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Well worth a visit.

Really great place. Very secure happy to let my 14/11 year olds to go alone...and I don't let them pee without me!.(too many weirdos!) Anyway, food huts ok bit of a wait, chips not great but can get pizza,chips,drink €9.99. We brought small picnic, sunbeds about €3.50 otherwise very clean lovely surroundings...and the Lifeguards love their whistles 😁

Lovely place. Great play area for the children (except the dinosaur slide which really needs updating as it can be a little dangerous when coming down), beautiful place to walk around. Funny to see so many wild cockrels.

It'like Central Park in New York, but smaller. Very clean and green park, with a few nice fountain, children's playground and comfortable benches. A lot of green parrots on trees, other birds beneath. Nice place to relax. Only 800 metres to the beach.

Passed this park for many years and finally went in to explore. There are plenty of birds there, must have been over 100, including Ducks, Geese, Chickens, Roosters, Doves, Pigeons, Seagulls and 4 Peacocks. Water features were OK, but gardens lacked flowers and colour. Looks more attractive from the outside, but better than most nearby council gardens.

Great little park where you always can rest with your soul. Each time I want to take new photo here to save the beautiful moment. The only one moment is that it's not always clean.

A very nice park with lots of birds (hens, pigeons, ducks, peacocks, etc.) and playground for children. We had a nice sunny afternoon with our small kids there. There should put some machines selling bird food as they should not eat bread and this is what visitors give them.

This is really a lovely place to spend an hour or more just relaxing. It's not as busy as it was pre covid times but I'm sure it'll recover next year. In saying that it's tranquil and completely "for the birds" 🐦 if you don't mind all the ducks, peacocks brazen roosters and many other birds belting out the hits. It's also great for kids with a giant dragon slide etc to keep them busy. I recall a previous time when I seen a crowd of people gathered around in seating for a free performance from some local band do I would be expecting this kind of thing again in the future. Perfect spot.

Very interesting and worth visiting place with family and children. Lots of shade on sunny days. Beautiful plants and animals. I only have the impression that the park is neglected and dirty, which makes it unable to show its great potential.

We visited in September, midweek, the beach was packed with retired people enjoying sunshine, there was no one single spot to put the towel, even impossible to walk through due to so many umbrellas. Beach is very narrow, nice gold sand, however very dirty water from algae. So we just spent an hour in the water a little and left.

What a lovely beach. Because of this Corona Virus the guys disinfect the walkways and benches every morning. A very safe place to visit and very family friendly.

Best beach in downtown area! Very good restaurants, icecream, shops. You can hire umbrella and beds if you don't bring yours. Good for swimming and for beach games. Gets crowded at weekends, but on weekdays you can always find a good spot.

Extremely crowded beach without any rules. You pay for sun beds and you have to slalom through hundreds of towels, umbrellas, chairs placed very carefully so that you cannot pass through them. Compulsory areas must be delimited through which you can reach the sea.

I love Torrevieja. it’s cheap close to airport and it offers many beautiful beaches. In some restaurants price for a small beer didn’t change for a long time. There is always, always warm sea! I have swam there in winter mi months, and it’s still great! There is many thing to do in Torrevieja like Las Salinas de Torrevieja, Las Naciones Park, Museos flotantes Delfín S-61 y Albatros III, or have a walk on Dique de Levante Breakwater. For real travellers Torrevieja is quite close a city break in Valencia which is worth to see as well.

Excellent beach, a must see if you love the beach life. Very clean and peaceful. Plenty of place's to eat and drink. It also has a promenade with shopping, eating, drinking which is worth a visit. If you go here you won't be disappointed. The sea is very calm here. We had a great time.

Great little water park. Food and drink reasonably priced. Would be nice with a few more things there for little ones but ours were happy enough. Has splash pool with little slide is, next to that a deeper swimming pool but small, good again for smaller ones and the. A bigger standard pool at the back. We went in June and so no queue and not busy. There was also some parking and a bus stop outside. A lot of construction work going on around it but our kids live a good digger and it is all for a great new complex next door. Cash only for food and drink. Can pay card for tickets

A great place to bring small kids, just the perfect size for them. If it was just for adults it wouldn't be amazing. But overall my 3 year old loved it.

I took my Grandson for the day here and was very pleasantly surprised. The park had a little but for everyone, an adult pool, infants pool and teenage areas that ticked a box for all. One thing that struck me is that it was completely spotless everywhere. Very well kept and the staff were all fantastic, personable and professional. The park is very reasonably priced in terms of entry, drinks and food so we will now be going more regularly. Thank you for a great day out!!!

Had a fabulous day at this lovely family orientated park. Beautifully maintained with excellent friendly staff who I can't speak highly enough of. Would recommend this park to anyone with small children. Even the food and drink was reasonably priced.

Clean, friendly staff, strictly followed rules, kids are always in eye sight. Minimum height for the 3 main slides is 120cm and this rule is strictly followed, to the point my daughter got a wrist band to show she is tall enough yet they still checked. Get there 20 minutes before opening if you want a good location. Came twice in the holiday. Cost 2 adults 2 children €52. Food and drink available here.

Great for primary aged kids, our two loved it. Note before you go it's cash only though as it could leave you disappointed / unable to enter. Cafe food is as expected for lunch, but not too expensive so can't complain. This is only a small park, but ideal for young families and they close it once it gets full so no overcrowding either / everyone can find and make a base on loungers or chairs and table, as we did, too which is great!

Ideal for younger kids (we went with a 4, 7 & 8 year old). The bigger two could go on the big slides, the littler one had to make do with the smaller ones. All loved it though and happily spent nearly 6 hours in the pool. Staff are super friendly, and it's a relaxed place to be. We went on a Monday and it wasn't busy at all - plenty of sun loungers available as well as tables and chairs under the shade. No gluten free food options we could see other than chips but you can just take your own food in with you which we did. Our 3rd time visiting here and will happily keep coming until our kids need something bigger.

Very good place for families with kids up to 10 yrs old. Just few water attractions, however it is enough to spend entire day and have fun. Good prices for food inside the park (cash is needed as you can only pay by card the entrance fee). No big queues to attractions, free sun beds (in other parks in this area you need to pay for them extra).

A great few hours out for the whole family. Food was good and reasonable priced. Very clean park and lifeguards were helpful. Even though only a few slides still a very good way to spend an afternoon. One thing to remember is it's cash only once inside the park

Great beach with a lovely promenade right above it. It's ideal for a nice morning/evening walk or cycle. But once you leave the promenade you can walk along the coast for some beautiful views. Just be careful because the path is rocky and uneven!

The beach is not really suitable for small children, the southern part of the beach has reefs/rocks in the water so it is not well accessible. The northern part has thick sand and quite steep access to the water.

I didn't like this beach there are too much rocks and moss inside the beach. For sunbathing it is maybe okey but for swimming, not recommended. I recommend swimming shoes for this beach and I would rather prefer Playa de Cura which is also very closed to Locos beach.

Quite a rocky beach and surprisingly busy even in September. It was not terrible but I wouldn’t visit a second time.

Good shopping Center, with open roof, so there is a lot of fresh air passing through, and even more, you can smoke outside shops everywhere, as it is an open space. Shops are OK, based on choice and prices. Shops with clothes, shoes, home staff and toys. Some places to drink coffee are also here. Car park is big enough. Overall impressions are perfect.

Great little mid range shopping mall Good scope and range of shops and the food court upstairs will meet most people's needs. Kids play area also and often kids activitiy events going on. Plenty of free parking underneath the mall along with a car valet service available also. The Toilets and facilities were clean and functional. A good stop for a bit of retail therapy and a bite to eat.. Close to other main shops also so a very good place to visit. Most languages are catered for. Recommended... Yes. Parking plenty but can get busy at times as it's just a good place to be .

We are now big shoppers. But it's an easy place to find and park. It wasn't too busy when we went, which was a bonus. There are plenty of shops and places to stop and get some coffee (although it's open air, so cold in the winter months). I'm sure we'll be back again when the clothes are worn to rags😁

Shops are fine, but the facilities :( The elevator is not working constantly, we are here for 2 months and this is third time I visit the Shopping centre, two times elevator was not working! I wouldn’t complaint before, but now I have a baby and I go everywhere with a stroller, so here this is not possible to visit all shops, because upstairs you can go only by stairs or escalator with stairs. So 1 point to the facilities due to this bad experience!

We go for Zara,Bershka and sports shops. It's smallish, which is great for me because I hate shopping. Open air in parts, done nice restaurants that aren't expensive and clean toilets.

Not really a fan of big shopping centres but this one is ok. It's smaller and compact but still has a good selection of shops with not too much walking between them. Good parking is available and it's on the bus route. It has one of the few Starbucks in the area which is usually why we go there. Carrefour is next door and there are some decent restaurants as well.

This centre is very pretty with many brand name shops that you can find in a lot of countries. I usually love C&A but the store here was not as large as others they have and therefore didn't have a large selection. I found most of the clothes shops quite expensive just as they are in Ireland except for your Primark which is great we have the equivalent Penny's store here. There is nothing different about this centre that you can't get anywhere else except that it is pretty. It would be great to see a mix of shops that offered very different price ranges and styles. Some market type shops as the markets in Spain are fantastic.

Nice shopping centre, plenty of underground parking and shops to choose from. Very top level is more for food and there is a limited choice upstairs. There is also a small park on the roof terrace for children. Toilets are spotless clean and the whole centre, I do enjoy coming here.

Very nice shopping center. Pleasantly cool, big and lots of interesting things like an automatic ice cream machine or a racing car with a built-in Playstation. I recommend the restaurant POMODORO on the top floor, which is very yummy and very cheap.

The layout of Habaneras can get confusing at times, but the same can be said for any shopping centre. It would be nice if the food courts were more integrated with the shopping centre and not over a 4 lane road but Habaneras does have some of its own food services on the upper floor, but they're limited. Parking is very easy, with Carrefour next door and an underground bay too. Overall, an amazing shopping centre, at times can be a bit small but the location is amazing!

Disappointed that we walked a long way only find that it wasn't open. This was at around 1.20pm on a Saturday, 40 minutes before it should have closed. Got there and the gates were locked and absolutely no one around. We weren't the only ones left disappointed, as there was a couple that gotten there just before we did, and they also had to walk away. Probably a really cool place if it's open, but as other reviewers have said, do not rely on it being so. If you're in the area and are there at the right time then I'd recommend giving it a go, but I would not travel too far for it as you will only be taking a gamble as to whether it will actually be open or not. It just seems to open and shut as and when when it feels like it, just like everything else in Torrevieja.

An interesting and unusual museum. Friendly staff and fascinating exhibitions. Never been on a submarine before so this was a great opportunity to see what it's like. A great value hour or so for just €2. Thank you.

It was hard to find (don't enter the marina or you'll be on the wrong side of the fence) and there was no explanation at all. I think there's supposed to be an audio guide but we weren't offered these and the staff didn't speak much English. Luckily the fee is only €2 but you can only pay cash.

For €2 it’s a fantastic wee visit, if you are Claustrophobic or unsteady on your feet, then it not for you. The audio system was not offered to us, and I never asked why! Maybe covid.

Very interesting experience for someone living on the ground all the time. Worth visiting. Access is straight, tickets (€2 per person) you buy at the entrance, go for a small ship first and then continue to the submarine itself.

Third time lucky... We have lived in Torrevieja for just under 3 months now and have tried to visit the submarine museum three times, the first two unsuccessful with, as others have said, it being closed for no apparent reason. The times we tried were all weeks apart, so it's not like they were just having a bad week. We finally managed to get in today on a Thursday at around 12:30pm. I gave it three stars because if you actually manage to get in, it's good value for money at just €2 each. You're pretty much forced to go on the boat first, then you go on the submarine. The boat is interesting too and you have time to make the most of it. When we were leaving, at around 13:08, some other people tried to get in but staff turned them away because they were ready to shut the place. Not fair really when the sign says it shuts at 2pm and the people getting turned away looked quite disappointed. I think it should make it clear that 2pm means closed, not "last entry". If you want to go I would recommend turning up as early as possible to avoid disappointment. To get there, turn down the sand/mud track as soon as you see the sign. It will feel like you aren't going the right way and as though you should go into the Dock, but like other people have said do not go that far. If you go through the gates, you've gone wrong. Good luck to anyone hoping to visit... Hopefully it will be open for you.

Decent museum to see a submarine and a relatively modern ship from inside. The value for money is very good - the ticket price is only 2 eur. For those planning to come with children, your child needs to be at least 110cm high to be allowed to enter.

This is a lovely beach with soft sand the sea is shallow ideal for children and very safe. There are Palm 🌴 Tree's on island's on beach the promenade over looks the beach with areas to sit and relax. I love it early in the morning walking my dog.
