We visited the place after reading rave reviews about it and we're overall very happy. I would rate the visit 4.5 stars only because the gorilla and lions looked really sad. I am sure that they receive the best care, but it still did feel bad seeing the sadness in their eyes. Otherwise the place is amazing - really well maintained and you can tell that all the animals are getting the best care possible. We managed to see all the shows and each was great in it's own way and totally worth it. Like others pointed out - make sure to plan your visit in advance as it will otherwise be difficult to see everything. We really liked the parrot area, the jungle and shark tank. Overall it is totally worth the admission fee. There is also a combined ticket for 70euro for both Loro Park and Siam Par, which is a good deal if you plan on visiting both. It is worth noting that parking costs 5euro for the day,but it is easy to find free parking places around.

What a difference from Siam Park. Still crowded but nicely organized enough space and they will inform you if you will fit for the show or not. Animals have great conditions for living and one can see that they love their trainers. All shows are great and each one is a bit different. Loves the fact that Ukraine flag was shown before each show with the hippie no rockets sign. Nice gesture. We came late so had to park quite far - if you want to avoid the parking fee (7euro) you can park above the Siam park - there is a lot of free space even at 10:30. Would recommend to go twice to Loro Park rather than Siam + Loro. We didn’t even manage to see everything during whole day. It was absolutely amazing.

Really really really good zoo! Very clean, very well maintained and very well indicated. The staff is so helpful and kind and happy! We asked a worker that was cleaning some glass wall what was indie and he said "I have the otter sleeping now, I will wake them up when I finish". It felt so heartwarming for the guy to talk about them like their own. The shows were really entertaining and funny, and they always show how much research they do and how much we should take care of the environment, very educational for both young and old. I regret not doing the private tours where they show you a lot more stuff about how they take good care of the animals, but there was just not enough time. 10/10 will come back again!

Fantastic place, spotlessly clean, animals are very well looked after and their surroundings are amazing too. Much better than many zoos I've been to in England by a long shot! We can learn alot from this Park Zoo. The shows they put on for everybody are amazing too! Well worth the money. A great day out.

We saw all the shows at the start of our visit. They were quite good but I wasn't mind blown 🤯. The animals were trained very well and it's nice that the shows are only 20 mins each for the animals sake. Unfortunately many of the shows were all spoken in Spanish with English or German subtitles. It's kind of tricky reading subtitles and viewing the show at the same time. We spent all day walking round the rest of the zoo, plenty of animals to see. Lots of birds. I mean loads of birds! Unfortunately they all look quite similar so we ended up just walking past a lot of them. My favourite was the sea creatures and penguins. The zoo was very clean and well kept, no rubbish lying around and plenty of places to get a drink and sit down. Tickets were a bit steep but they do take care of the place and the animals. We entered at 0930 without any queue. By 12pm the zoo was pretty busy.

Excellent zoo. The animal shows are superb. Everything is well organised. It was a busy day in the Easter holidays but queues were well managed. The queue for food went down really quickly as they have a good plan you select your food, get it on your tray and pay at the till. Lots of seating available. Lovely location and fantastic selection of animals to see in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended if you are visiting Tenerife. We arrived just after opening time and easily parked in the car park for €7. The Coral Aquarium is lovely. Both that area and the penguins have a moving walkway to view so it keeps crowds moving and everyone gets chance to see.

Just amazing... I've visited Loro Parque recently and it's definitely a must see when in Tenerife. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable and they make the experience so much better. The park itself has a lot to offer in regards to animals they have and showing research they do in effort to save wild animals. The concept is just amazing with ability to see animals from all sides and even have a part where you can walk amongst parrots. I'd recommend checking schedule for live events and plan your visit accordingly. Keep up the good work and hope to see you again!

Visited on a Sunday and booked with travel agent. Park was reasonably busy but I did get to watch all of the shows. Highly recommend getting to the shows about half an hour before they start to guarantee getting a good seat. Be prepared to get wet when sitting in the splash zone area of the orca show. Macs are available to purchase for 3 euros. There is a dolphin show, sea lion show and loro show. Recommend watching all of them but my personal favourite was the sea lions. We took food and drink with us but the prices didn't seem too bad for a tourist attraction. There is lots of information about how the animals are treated and look after and it's good to read about that. The park isn't as big as it looks and everything can be seen within about 6 hours. I do think the entry price is a little expensive but still worth a visit in my opinion.

Best zoo I've been to! No matter that is quite small but it has so many things to offer! The price for entry is totally worth it, I saw the nicest expositions and the cleanest environment for animals. Shows were moderate and animal friendly, we gain so many new information in very nice way. I can definitely recommend the visit. Even food you can choose healthy or not so healthy options, buffet offers both.

There is so much to see- you can easily spend the whole day there. It was such an amazing experience - we loved every moment. There are multiple shows you can attend- we went to the dolphin and sea lion and both were amazing, so many emotions. There are also plenty of different places to eat and benches to take a rest, as well as some souvenir shops. We got the tickets online on the official website but you can also purchase them at the place. I would recommend getting there early as around lunchtime it gets very busy.

Wow! where to start with Loro Park. What an amazing experience. I'd recommend buying tickets in advance. Otherwise, you have to queue up twice. The park itself is well maintained, the animals are gorgeous and they are well looked after. The dolphin show is absolutely amazing, as well as the sea lion show. These alone are worth the money. These get quite busy. The parrot show is brilliant too. The whales are the ones to look out for, but be prepared to get absolutely soaking wet. We sat at the front and got drenched ( I wish I would have bought a poncho at 3 euros). They take your photo at the beginning, and you can purchase at the end for 9 euros. overall, it was a fantastic day, and my family and I loved it. The food is good quality and to be fair a decent price.

The place is spectacular. It is worth every single penny. There are so many things to see, we literally spent 5 hours there. The animal shows are amazing! And generally, all the animals are well cared and look healthy and happy. A must to visit when in Tenerife!

One of the best animal parks on the planet you could go to, they really go the extra mile in their park and out of it to make a difference in the world. Clean and tidy, the animals look well cared for. Education, education, education is what they preach in the park about the animals and what can be done to help them. The shows are all very good and similar to others I've seen with their own little twists. Food prices are really good for a park whereas most parks charge €15+ for a burger etc Loro parks was less than €10 for the same. Not only that they offer good size rolls for only €4.50 which most parks don't. Very well worth a visit.

Absolutely stunning setting! Loved the sea lion show, they're definitely the dogs of the sea! Went to see their show twice! The grounds are immaculate, truly the most beautiful man made place I've been and masks are enforced across the park so we felt safe. The tree tops display is stunning, especially if you're a bird lover! The jelly fish and shark tunnel had me mesmerized The free yellow shuttle train from town center is a definite bonus!

A great place to visit. They have a large range of animals and four shows which are more tailored to children and people who understand Spanish (especially the parrot show), but were still entertaining. I would recommend seeing all the shows first and then looking around the park after. Also make sure you avoid the splash zone in the whale show as you really do her drenched in water. It gets busy during the day with lots of people. But you can still get close to see the animals. There was a section closed off due to maintenance so the route to see things was a bit tricky, having to go backwards and forwards to try any find the places. They give a handy map, which you can get on your phone too. There are a number of places selling souvenirs and a few places selling food. There are also toilets dotted around the place. Overall I would recommend even if you don't have children with you. We spend around 5 hours here, but you could spend less or much more.

Fantastic day out, animals aside the sheer cleanliness and presentations of the gardens was amazing. Enclosures where the cleanest and best presented I have ever seen from any attraction. Shows where top class whilst spreading awareness , with aquarium being a personal highlight.👌

This place is amazing! They have such wonderful animals, all very well cared for. I love how their mission is to protect the animals and release them back into the wild when possible. The shows were well done, but also very informational. Almost everything was in both Spanish and English. I would love to go back again someday.

I went there today. I thought €42 was a bit expensive but once I arrived I was not disappointed. There is a lot to see and could easily take up a whole day. There are multiple shows throughout the day. Unfortunately I didn't get around to seeing any of them, but don't worry because just before you leave you can purchase a come back ticket for €13! Bargain. I bought my tickets online the day before so had no problem getting in, you can buy them on the day but the queue is massive for that. I would recommend getting there as early as possible because around 12-1pm they get extremely busy. I had to leave early because I couldn't deal with the amount of people there but that's a good thing! The environment is lovely, the staff are always smiling and there's many more different things to see than you'd get in a normal zoo. I'm well impressed, if I ever come on holiday to Tenerife again this will be a must visit on my list. There's plenty of places to sit and relax but they do fill up quickly around peak times. Ola! This place took me by surprise, there is so much going on. We had such an amazing day at Loro park. The place is clean and doesn't smell like your typical zoo. What a great day out. The shows this place puts on are amazing. I've always wanted to see a whale and it did not disappoint, it was probably the highlight for me. We got wet off the whale which adds to the fun. We also watched the dolphin and sea lion shows which were both really good. I loved the white tiger never seen on before. And the snow penguins were amazing to see. So many highlights and would be good for any age. I would highly recommend.

Great zoo. We were there for the full day 10.30 - 5, and saw most the shows. The food is reasonably priced when you are in there pizza about 9 euro. The shows have both an education element and entertainment. All the animals look well looked after. We ended up getting the duel ticket with Siam Park and it is well worth it excellent 2nd day out.

One of the best zoos I have been to. The park is small and very easy to navigate. The exhibits are very well thought out and all the animals look very well. The penguin exhibit was wonderful. As was the new Coral exhibit. The shows were fantastic. Very funny. Also the care and enrichment is shown alot throughout the park. It was great to see. Food and drink was available all over the park and not expensive at all. Plan your show times as they do get busy.

Absolutely amazing place! It is a must for anyone who visits tenerife. The shows are not to be missed. They are regular and timed so that you can practically go from one to the next. There is plenty of little kiosk and places to eat scattered around the park. It is kept very clean and tidy. It can be a little confusing to navigate, even with the free map that is provided on arrival. On a side note. This place is heavily advertised and has some free transportation from certain places (depends where you are travelling from). I would recommend you buy tickets directly online from loro Park.. We were offered them by vendors while walking the streets but decided its safer to go direct. You will have a QR code on the ticket, so it speeds up getting into the park when you get there.

The park is huge with a lot of shows to attend and so many cute animals. You need at least 6 hours to visit all the park and attend some of the shows. We really liked the Orca show and the parrot show, both unique. I was so thrilled to find out about all of the beautiful implications that Loro Park had over the years regarding the protection of the animals and we loved to see how well preserved is the whole area. The animals look like they are good taken care of and the staff appears to have a close relationship with them. Things that are hard to find in another zoo’s across the world. We definitely recommend making a visit. The prices inside are ok, and the burgers are tasty. You can also come with food & beverages from outside.

Relatively nice place to visit. A shame that none of the pools were heated, it was a bit too cold for our 10 month old baby. Fine for us adults though. I still prefer the normal beaches but the waves there are too wild for my girlfriend and baby, so this was a good alternative so that they could go and swim. There are deck chairs everywhere, nice to chill. The food unfortunately was very bad, the pizza verdura (7 Euros) obviously from a freezer, the fries (2 Euros) were very bland as well.

Little bit disappointed that the big pool has been closed since May. But other pools were open. Was still a great deal. When you get in, drinks and food are good and reasonably priced.

Unfortunately it's €5.50 per adult, whether u want just a quick swim, or the whole day. And cus yr in Tenerife Norte, don't assume that the sun will shine all day. Beer €3 a pint from the various kiosks. Don't bother with the restaurant. It's just defrosted pizza, etc. And because its not run by a local family, there's no pride in what they do, so the waiters display a decidedly 'public sector' nonchalance to customer service.

After visiting the south of the Island we came up to the North mainly for the fact it is greener than the south. We really enjoyed it up here except for the fact that due to covid, and lack of tourists, the area was dead thus many places closed. On top of that, we like to visit beaches, and even though the local beaches are great to watch as they are wilder they aren't so nice to lie on for a spot of sunshine. But these salt water filled pools are a perfect substitute. For about 5 euros we got in for the whole day with a sunbed. Everywhere is clean and tidy and plenty of spots to relax and get some rays. In the morning the massive fountain is used to pump in fresh salt water to top up the pools which is pretty cool. We would definitely recommend and we will be back

They made us pay full price even though half of it is closed which actually nobody mentioned.. also the pools are dirty and showers are closed.. what a touristic trap/scam, disgusting

The day was quite good. 21 Euro for three of us with two umbrellas. Only half of the pools open, not too sure if renovations wherein progress or not. An enjoyable day apart from only being half open. Will go there again but it would be much much better with the whole complex open.

A peaceful and wonderful place with a wide variety of plants and flowers. All species are labeled, some even with a QR code, so you can hear the description in English, German or Spanish. There's seating and a small pond with a few fish. Admission costs 3€ per person, has toilets and wheelchair access. I recommend you visit especially if you are a nature lover. It's perfect for spending a couple of hours on warmer days, as there are many shady areas. You can also take beautiful photos.

An excellent place to enjoy shade whilst looking at the diverse range of flora and fauna. There are numerous seats situated around the gardens to take 5 whilst enjoying some incredible views. There are toilets too and there are ramp options for most sections of the gardens for easy accessibility. At 3 Euros for tourists to enter its great value for money and well worth a visit, especially if staying locally.

It's ok, 3 euros to get in and contrary to other comments it really is only worth that. Muddy paths, hardly any seating areas and nothing particularly special. The signage and map/guide is tired and the QR codes with info don't really work so its just another pleasant way to pass the time. If they want to charge more they would need to spruce/clean it up more provide more seating area moments and make sure all the signage and information is working.

Worth the visit to see some amazing plants from around the world. Had my eyes opened to some of the trees, flowers that grow there. Well maintained, 3 euro entry, toilets cleanliness very good, no cafe area but plenty across the Rd and down the strip.

Very nice botanic garden with thousands of tropical and sub tropical plants, flowers and trees. Many lovely little path through the garden with lots of benches in the shadow to have a rest. Many parrots live in the park, it is easy to observe them while eating orange on the trees.

Lovely place, cheap to get in €3 per person. Good selection of amazing trees and flowers, points around the garden where you can scan a qr code and get information about specific trees and plants. Very informative. Nice way to wind away a couple of hours, just watch out for the gardeners and there high pressure hoses, whilst they water the trees and plants, can get a little damp 🤣

A very rich botanic garden, it has a lot of different plants, and they are most often well labeled. The paths are well maintained and its very nice to just walk around to discover or to do with friends/ partnes. The only disadvantage is that some flowers are in poor state and that you have to come at the right moment to see more things in bloom Definitely do recommend

A wee bit off the beaten track but we'll worth a visit. We spent an enjoyable 90 minutes there (but could have stayed longer). Well set-out and a feast to the eyes. And great value for money at €3 each. No cafe on site but a few places just across the road.

Incredible. Even in the months when there will not be an abundance of flowering it I'd an incredible space. Entry peanuts 🥜 👌 and probably not worth them having a grumpy man on reception taking payment. Incredibly bad welcome, but they still get 5* from myself and #dryholidays.

Beautiful botanical garden! The staff is friendly aswell. We went at 17:30 as it was the last time to get tickets as 18:00 the garden closes. 30min is definitely enough to walk around and enjoy everything :)

What an interesting afternoon spent at the botanical gardens. It is well kept and has so many different species of tropical plants from Africa, South America etc. Only €3 entrance fee. Easy parking. Well laid out garden with plenty of information about the plants. We went there in December. The grounds are well kept and clean. There are ponds with fish in and lots of insects and spiders. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I will go again. Highly recommended.

A really lovely place and really well cared about. You only pay 3€ and can stay as long as you want, which I would really recommend, as there are so many different beautiful plants and a lot of sweet places to sit and enjoy the nature and the birds and small lizards around you. Also you have some listening stations on some of the plants with very interesting stories! Go there if you want to have a quite place to calm down or to take some beautiful pictures!

Another fabulous garden in Puerto de la Cruz, offering shade from the heat of the day, they have some fabulous specimens and varieties of flower and fauna throughout the gardens, with some very well established trees o the site that are just jaw dropping, with some varieties producing aerial roots that have supplanted themselves into the soil below.

Really great place to visit. 3 euro entrance fee, but definitely worth it. Jardin botanico is an 18th century garden, not huge but with a large variety of trees and plants. I found the garden to be a very relaxing space and cool under the canopy of trees. The highlight for me was the Lord how island fig tree which looks like something from another planet.

Highly, highly recommended. This restaurant is an absolute must if you are visiting Puerto de la Cruz. We visited twice and each time experienced 5 star service, excellent and perfectly presented food and live entertainment in a league of it's own.

We visited this restaurant in January and liked it so much we made went back several more times. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and most importantly for me, plenty of gluten-free options on the menu. They also had gluten-free beer. Me and my partner came here earlier on in the week and the food was amazing. We decided to come back on our last day on holiday, I have never had a worse experience at a restaraunt in my life. The prawns in garlic starter was floating in a bowl of water, the prawns itself was so hard and rubbery. It took at least 10 miniutes to get a waiters attention to order a drink. When the mains arrived we both went in not thinking much about it all and decided to give it a go. The pasta we ordered was intended to be 'al dente' but was way undercooked and again the prawns hard and rubbery. The fish and chips was bland and had no flavour to it whatsoever. The fish itself tasted dry and frozen. Extremley dissapointed as earlier in the week the staff and food was amazing and this time all the staff was different and was not with it at all, i assume the chef was also a change from earlier in the week. When it came to paying for our meal we did decide to tell the waiter about our experience and all we got back was a "i dont care" attitude. Really unfortunate as this was our last meal and i would not be recommending it to anybody who visits.

Menu of the day terrible, warm soup/chicken soup with muschy noodles. Grilled fish even worse, fish was chewy and cold. How could someone screw up a grilled fish! Amazing. We thought at least dessert should be good, but again disappointment. For a dessert we took ice cream and cheese cake with berry. Ice cream were not creamy at all, you can feel pieces of ice there and cheese cake is actually not a cake. Huge disappointment!

If you are a smoker coming for drinks and a great location then this is your place. If you want service that is patient, quality food and eating without the taste and smell of smoke then you will find better alternatives. I an pretty sure smoking is banned on terraces at bars and restaurants in the Canaries but maybe this changed and it is too bad. Combined with a poor dish I can't recommend this place

Enjoyed this place twice while staying nearby, only one with large tapas menu in neighbourhood that we managed to find, was good way of trying new food without splashing too much money and then not liking it. Large selection of drinks too. One cocktail was a bit awkward, like smoothie like, served in milk bottle, that's placed in paper bag. Wasn't enjoying it as much as I expected. Nice, friendly staff. Good view to the park area and also people watching

The food was awful. Fish soup without any fish smell or taste, consisted mostly of overcooked rise mash. Peppercorn sauce had bad stale taste. Cod with onions was actually okay, but at the price of almost EUR 40 it should have been fine dining quality. The mains arrived immediately as starter plates were cleared and both mains were already cold. It was the worst and the most expensive meal we had in 2 week holidays in the Canaries. The service was fast and efficient, tables were turned around momentarily but I would not recommend the food here. In addition, i just realised the prices they publish do not include VAT. which is a nonsense in Spain. So add another 7% to published prices.

This is one of the worst restaurants in Puerto De La Cruz, Tenerife. I only gave 3 stars because the food was decent. We ordered Grilled Salmon for €32 and a Chicken Burger for €25. This is incredibly expensive, and honestly not worth it. Now, the premium Chicken burger was decent. The Fresh Chicken breast was really juicy, it was wrapped in fresh maple cured bacon, and a fresh Mozzarella cheese slice on top. It had nice mix of vegetables, including Tomato, Lettuce, and Pepper, and a grilled Brioche Bun. This was served with a side of Fried Potatoes, and a homemade sauce. The Grilled Salmon was very average. We have had Grilled Salmon in neighbouring restaurants before, and honestly this was no different. However, this one was ALOT more expensive. In other restaurants, Grilled Salmon is usually around €20, here it is €32! The salmon came with mixed winter vegetables, Canary Wrinkled Potatoes, Guacamole and some Fish Sauce. These sides were again, average. We were also provided with Canary Balsamic Vinegar, Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Mustard, Heinz Mayonnaise, Tomato Ketchup, Salt and Pepper. When I inspected the Knife & Fork, it was unfortunately not up to my standards. The knife was blunt and both the fork and knife were heavily scratched. The table was not great quality; it was unstable. The chair was very uncomfortable. There wasn't even a table cloth, just the bare plastic. Yes, you read that right; the table was made out of plastic. Furthermore, the staff were very arrogant and didn't seem to care. They were not polite and even slightly aggressive. When they took our order, they were not paying attention, they were talking to their co workers and they didn't seem to care about our order. Honestly I would not recommend, the restaurant

I really liked visiting this beach. The hike through to the banana plantations was spectacular to get here ( except a small part covered by trees and plants that smelled like a bathroom ) It was very sandy and smooth. A nice garden with more than just orchids. The layout initially make is seem small but it is larger than I thought. There is a small cage with two small birds and a variety of plants. There are a few places purposefully created for a nice background for pictures. There is a lily pond at the back with was peaceful. There are also a number of benches where you can sit and take in the environment. There is also a small cafe inside in case you feel hungry or thirsty. The tickets were €4.75 each which is a little more than the botanical gardens but I feel worth it for a visit.

A hidden treasure! We spent a fabulous few hours there, plants, flowers, birds and feeding the fish. And a couple of unexpected bonuses... 1)A beautiful little cafe with all manner of delights. (Scones were scrumptious thank you.) 2) A lovely artist showing her fabulous work. We came home with happy memories, happy tummies and a happy picture for our wall.

Lovely lady on the front desk, entrance 4,75€ (first thought it was bit much,but after seeing how the garden is maintained it's was quite ok). In comparison to Botanical Garden, great historical background- visited by Agatha Christie, home of William Wilde- father of Oscar Wild! Who likes nature and history, this is the place!

In itself, Sitio Litre is a nice little garden, with a pond, orchids and other flowers, and a little cafe. Apart from the bird cage with some parrots inside, it's not at all spectacular -- nothing you wouldn't find anywhere else. If it's on your way and you don't mind spending nearly 5€ on what amounts to a 20 min stroll through a rather generic garden, go for it. Don't bother with the coffee shop, though. It's very overpriced and seems to cater to tourists exclusively.

I think the price on entry is a bit unfair (€4.75) but that's only because it's small, I went around the whole place in around 10-15 minutes. As others have pointed out, it’s more of a surf spot than a swimming beach, but it was one of our favourite activities during our stay in Puerto de la Cruz to come here and watch the waves and the surfers. I confirm that it can be very dangerous to be in the water at high tide / big waves. Unfortunately I got injured during a surfing lesson, but the life guards were amazing, responded and delivered first aid very quickly.

Went there in February so might not reflect summer vibe. Black sand beach which is quiet despite being so close from the city, has a relaxing atmosphere. You can watch surfers while ordering take away drinks from the bar behind. It's clean. A bit too many rocks would you want to play in the water.

This is a relatively small very rocky beach, it is amazing for surfing and watersports but the break here is frequently too rough to allow swimming in the sea. Cute beach, but like many have said it’s better to sunbathe, surf or paraglide than swim here. The rocks are sharp (even with water shoes you can get hurt) and the currents are quite strong. There are no umbrellas or beds to rent but you can bring your own things. And it’s next to the promenade and cafes/stores and there is a surfing school where you can get gear. Worth visiting at least once.

It had little stained glass windows. I liked the wooden vaulted roof and the tower entrance too. It was very busy with tourists and local people. Definetly worth a visit.

This temple houses some of the most revered images in Tenerife such as the Virgen del Carmen in Puerto de la Cruz and the Great Power of God. This temple has three naves separated by Tuscan-Roman columns and semicircular arches. The interior is made of wood with Mudéjar coffered ceilings so typical of Canarian religious architecture. Outside, the roof is covered with pointed Arabic tiles. The church is not hide but, it is not small. The bells go off at certain times, also you can take photos of the famous tree here, lovely little shops and great village. Pretty and small beach. It's nice to sit there and relax. I think the Muelle beach is not perfect choice for a beach day. It's very rocky place so laying on the towel is not comfortable. If you wanna swim, take swimming shoes with you because it's rocky in the sea too. Swimming there is nice but it's kinda deep there so I can't recommend place for the kids or people who can't swim well.
