An absolutely fascinating place with rich and interesting history. The volunteers there were so incredibly knowledgeable. The place is kept pretty much as it was lived in so you can imagine the family living their lives there as you go through each room. A very interesting building and grounds. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house and gardens. It was an impromptu bank Holiday visit. I'll definitely go back to explore the gardens on a less wet day. The house is very well kept, with plenty of artwork and historical items. It holds a few pieces of pre-Raphalite art among other interesting pieces. The volunteers are knowledgeable and friendly. There's a tea room, reasonably priced gift shop plenty of parking, and a golf buggy to help those who can't make it up the path to the house. Update.. I returned on a lovely sunny day and again I wasn't disappointed. This time we did the tea room, art gallery and gardens. This house is definitely a great place to return to time and again. There are some open air events planned in the summer, so I'll maybe give them a try.

Wonderful place to visit for couple of hours.It’s not vast, nor secluded, we could still hear the noises of the town from the garden, but it’s a green well maintained spot to escape to , it has a book shop and a garden cafe, the usual National Trust souvenir shop. The insides of the house are interesting, old and more recent pictures of the family were my favourite, staff is always ready to assist with info and directions.

Lovely national trust property to visit. Ample parking not too far from the house, shuttle service provided too as it's an uphill walk. Large gardens to explore, exhibits, cafe, shop, second hand bookshop and the house itself to explore. Made for a very fun family outing

Such a beautiful historical site! Parking is easy and as it’s spring and the tulips are still out the gardens are stunning! House is kept very dark to protect all the items but the quality and condition is amazing! The wallpaper is gorgeous and the volunteers are so knowledgeable! The gardens are huge (would love a little more signage) and the cafe was lovely (we sat outside in the sun!). Would recommend a visit

Went here for a family day out, really loved visiting. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, the place was very well kept, we loved seeing the gallery and found some new favourite paintings. The manor itself had lots to see and learn about. The tearoom was spacious and staff again were very friendly and helpful, food was good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Manor house. Lovely grounds. Cafe was nice. Staff friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy. We had never been before and spent about 3 hours. Highly recommend it, could have done the house twice!!

The staff were extra friendly and informative and ready to enter a conversation, which made it so much more interesting. They are in the middle of a 3 year project to repair the roof, but this hardly affects the visit. The gardens are fascinating including the kitchen garden and the orchard. There are signed walks around the estate, just mind where you tread if sheep have been there before you. There is a shepherd's shed in the carpark serving hot cold drinks and snacks. Well worth a visit. Parking is free to members. The history of the changing fortunes and family ownership is fascinating, the family now rent their part of the building from NT. The rooms are full of furnishings and ornaments and collections still owned by the family.

Nice variety with gardens and late 1800s mansion house. The house is open with plenty of experts talking through the various features of the house in the main rooms. Gardens feature formal and kitchen gardens, tho its not been a great year. Also a woodland walk with lawns and duck ponds. Relatively busy on a bank holiday and nearly didn't get parking, so you may want to look into booking on peak days. Membership entry was just scan and go.

Lovely place with so much history! The volunteers are fantastic and help make the house come to life. Of course, I'm a HUGE fan of William Morris design - which is everywhere in this house. I'm glad to see that the facade is undergoing maintenance and repairs. This is why I continue to be a National Trust member even though I'm mostly overseas. Such exquisite details throughout the home!

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. They have a sort of golf buggy to take you up to the house if you want. We did a pumpkin trail round the lovely gardens for our granddaughter. Stopped at the tearoom for pumpkin spice latte and coffee & walnut cake 😋. Staff inside the house answered questions and had interesting facts. So much to see in the rooms, all very interesting to see the artwork and intricate detail everywhere. Granddaughter enjoyed seeing the old fashioned toys and the dress up clothes. Well worth the visit.

Stunning place, well worth a visit. Particularly magical at Christmas time. This wasn't our first visit as we like to visit at different times of the year. The knitted blossom installation is lovely and really brightens the place up. There's always something new to see, and most of the volunteers are just lovely and friendly, willing to chat and share their knowledge of a beautiful place. I'm not too sure about the large bag policy that has been introduced - there is signage asking to leave large bags in cars and there is apparently a locker room to store large bags rather than walk around the main building with them. Perfectly reasonable for backpacks / picnic holdalls, etc, and would imagine this would make it much easier for people to leave their hefty bags whilst they explore the manor house. However, we felt 'accosted' as we entered, and a volunteer suggested we use the lockers for our large bags as per new policy. We politely enquired what the new policy was as we'd not been approached on other visits. Volunteer tried to explain that because they have so many items on display that could be knocked over by large bags /rucksacks, they have introduced this. We politely declined. Volunteer went on to say that it was a polite request and that another reason they had this policy was because people had been stealing from the collection! I informed the volunteer I would be happy for them to search my bag and that I wasn't planning on stealing anything!!!! She continued to 'explain' this policy, and we again declined and continued to explore the house, taking care not to knock anything over with our handbags and ensuring we didn't steal any items!!! We also noted that other guests had much larger bags / changing bags and didn't hear several guests that followed us in being accosted to leave their bags in a locker room, nor was there mention of people stealing items. In fact, the same volunteer was very pleasant and welcoming to the other guests who followed us. Can't help but feel a bit miffed about that experience. Having said this... It hasn't put us off. The place is wonderful, and all the other volunteers we encountered were very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely soup, and nice to see the bakers' names. The house is Victorian artifice, trying to look Tudor. No doubt the scaffolding didn't help but it was so dark you couldn't even read some of the information cards. So, rather difficult to imagine how it would be to live there. Room guides were all very chatty and interesting. Also really easy to find and park. "Wittick"!!

As one of my "local" NT properties I decided as the weather was reasonable to go and have a picnic lunch and a short wander. Grounds were looking lovely with lots of daffodils and tulips in all the flower boarders and beds very nice to sit out on a bench and eat. Decided to spend a half hour going round the house but was told at the house entrance that a new rule was in place that you couldn't take any bags at all in with you not even a very small handbag. As I didn't like the idea of leaving my handbag at the door I was unable to go in the house. This was such a shame and just a good job I'd done a house tour on a previous visit. I think this needs to be made very clear on the website if it is a new rule as it may put others off too

Such a lovely place to be. Such a shame it was raining. The staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I was in a wheelchair and the staff went above and beyond to help me. Thank you all. The tea and cake went down a storm. Even one of the Gardeners offered to take a photo of the whole family who went that day. So thank you to you too. The National Trust had an offer on so we all went for free.

Excellent National Trust site with very well crafted and maintained gardens. The Manor is a very interesting building to visit which has its history preserved. There is a coffee shop with cakes and lunch options, a book and arts, crafts and seasonal garden shop. You can also buy produce grown in the site vegetable patch. There is a mini orchard and plenty of seating all over the site for relaxing and having a picnic, a large pond and nature trail with children's play area. You can spot all sorts of nature; including birds of prey (buzzards), flora and fauna.

Visited the Manor on a frosty Saturday in December. The grounds were particularly impressive with a layer of frost and light mist. Beautifully maintained Manor house with festive decorations and a well organised cafeteria. A really enjoyable day

Great to visit, even on a wet day. The house is lovely, and very special at Christmas! The café serves a range if food and drinks and the shop has some lovely items. There is an art gallery in a converted barn also.

This is an excellent National Trust property, well worth an extended visit. A very fine house, with an interesting rather complex design. There are fine furnishings, beautiful stained glass windows in many areas of the house, fine tiles and decorated vases, and many paintings and art works. Plenty of grand fireplaces too. Outside, extensive gardens, with topiary, and of course a place to eat, a bookshop, and more. I'm sure you'll enjoy your visit.

One of our most favourite Arts and Crafts houses. We have been several times. Nice cafe and shop too. If you get the chance to go when it's decorated for Christmas do take it!

Free to enter and look around which was a big and pleasant suprise. Booked the 9am slot when no-one else was there, superb! Disabled access is good but there are some grass paths which some users may find difficult. Although there are steps linking some of the gardens, they are all accessible by slightly different routes. Cake and coffee was delicious and about standard garden centre price. Roses were in perfect condition and June is one of the best months to go. Really good selection of roses to buy for about £30 each. Tidy little shop. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Extremely disappointed. Drove 3hrs to visit this place with a group of friends. Had the catalogue delivered only days before & we were all excited to purchase our roses. However we turned up & no bear roots in store..?!?!…(our preference to work with) Funny & convenient how it was only potted roses at £10 more ( for a plastic pot with D.A name on it 🙄) were available. The garden was drab & miserable. We understand at the time of year everything is still dormant - but would it hurt to make it look atleast presentable (daffodils/ hellebores/ snowdrops/cyclamen ect….winter list is endless. Perhaps to gain visitors year round, instead of having to visit when overwhelmed in the summer months. We know its a rose specialist gardens - but they are happy to sell a variety of other plants in store, not just roses. Cafe small & very busy - sold out most menu by 2pm. Paid £7 for soup😂 & went home empty handed. Best part was the peacock roaming around.

A brilliant day out with gorgeous roses in sumptuous gardens. The vast array on show will please lovers of the many varieties. My favourite garden was the cottage garden which showcases how to grow roses alongside perennials. We visited the tea room, which is so homely and reminded me of my grandparents back yard - the peacock came for a visit and 'offerings'! The fish and chips being cooked in the restaurant smelled delicious, as was my cream scone in the tea rooms. Many knowledge staff are on hand if you need advice. I would definitely recommend a visit even if you don't want to purchase any roses! 😊🌹

Beautiful place to visit (at the moment, booking must be made in advance - several weeks before in our case) Tranquil and stunning rose gardens with the delicious scent of the roses carried in the air. Visited the restaurant too, and the food was delicious - the Gardener's Platter and Key Lime Pie were excellent. Felt very unhurried, and any stress from the week melted away. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to walk around and gain inspiration. The quality of the roses are fantastic and the staff / gardeners are more than happy to chat. Will definitely be visiting again this year.

We found this place by accident when staying in Telford. Lovely place to visit. 700 different roses. Free gardens to walk around. Lovely restaurant and very friendly staff. Reasonably priced food / drinks. We visited 4th April so no roses and a drizzly day. I would love to visit when the roses are all out it must be soooo beautiful and smell Devine. Highly recommend. The road in is narrow in places. Large car park for visitors.

Beautiful gardens with stunning roses. The restaurant also serves great food freshly cooked meals. There is also a cafe there. Not bad value for money. Timing may have been better as some of the roses had started to die. Maybe visit in June rather than July.

This is a great place to visit if you want to see lots of different roses, and buy them while you are there. The garden areas are beautiful with a vast range of roses, and other plants, which are worth a visit, even if you're not there to buy. Entry is free. There is a large car park, a café which does tea/coffee and cakes, and also a restaurant. The coffee and cake in the café was very nice. Didn't try the restaurant, it was full by 12:30 - this suggests it is very popular. The one negative comment I have about this place is the road you have to drive down to get here. It is very narrow and we struggled to pass two cars as we left and we had come here in the middle of the week, so I would hate to think what it would be like on a busy weekend. There was a large articulated lorry behind us and I have no idea how they managed to get out. Definitely recommend a visit but not during a busy time.

First time visiting today with family. Even though a rainy day, lovely to see all the varieties of roses, fascinating and interesting. Tea room full for bookings, but still managed to be seated for hot drinks and cakes. Child friendly, very clean toilets with nice touch of hand wash and rose scented hand lotion. Beautiful shop, expensive but all very nice! Would visit again.

Gorgeous afternoon tea visit.. Sandwiches were beautiful, ham and mustard, egg mayonnaise, cream cheese, and cucumber. Scones were lemon and blue Berry and fruit, with cream and jam to accompany with a stacked plate of cakes to finish. The atmosphere in the restaurant presented as very relaxing and calm. We chatted for over 2 hours without realising. Our pot of tea had refills offered throughout our viait. The main menu looked very inviting for a return trip. I saw a beef in red wine pie with dauphine potatoes on the menu. Spent half an hour prior to afternoon tea exploring the vast roses for sale and fell in love with the choice and ease to navigate the rose gardens. All staff were approachable and friendly Highly recommended for a treat with a loved one or to simply watch the world go by.

Visited over the weekend, it was a great place to go to. Lots of lovely roses to look at. Shame there weren't as many tree roses but appreciate that they take a long time to grow. The roses are organising well and are easy to browse through. The gardens are beautiful kept and a joy to look around. The cafe was nice with a good selection of cake and drinks. The gift shop stocks a variety of things and it is good to see them in real life to get a feel for the products.

A great day out to visit the exquisite gardens filled with roses. Contact them in advance to understand when the rose displays are at their best. Compact level gardens with labelled plants. Good map of the gardens showing layout and giving useful info on types of roses. Benches at intervals to relax and enjoy the garden rooms whilst leisurely wandering around. Cafe and restaurant available with wheelchair access. Queues for food at peak times but we managed to enjoy a delicious cream tea at about 3pm on a Monday afternoon. Shop on site with a good selection of roses and companion plants and if not available it is possible to order from them. Excellent rose catalogue available and roses purchased directly from David Austin come with a 5 year guarantee.

Just gorgeous! And a great time of year to visit with the 5 gardens in full glory and ... aroma.. The only problem is the tempting array of plants to buy.- what to choose. Still I guess the income allows the whole show to be free of charge. Tons of parking which there had to be on a very popular sunny Saturday.

An absolutely wonderful garden, full of beautiful displays. Everything in the garden walks are well labelled so you can find any plant in the shop afterwards. The vegan cake selection was divine and the staff were truly lovely to speak to. An excellent place to spend a Sunday!

Nice small place for a short afternoon walk. The whole place is not busy at all, and feels very safe from covid. The Forrest trail for kids to follow the small animals is simple but very well made. The farm buildings are well presented, but not accessible. The tea room is casual, not expensive, and has a small selection, but of good quality.

The voluntary tour guides are all amazing and professional. They explained the history and all the details about the place comprehensively. The tree house is also fabulous to explore, especially good for kids.

Fantastic little gem, with a very rich history. Ran and cared for by national trust. Fantastic guides who had super knowledge of the house. Plenty of rooms to explore and beautiful gardens to walk around. They had a load of games for kids in the gardens, den building, and a tree fort. Has a cafe, gift shop and large car park.

It's a lovely small place for a short visit. The staff were lovely and helpful with the kids. It is a shame the tower in the woods was shut for repairs though. They have beautiful wooded grounds, we live locally so just took the kids for a run in the sun. I personally wouldn't spend all day there as there isn't tons to do but nice for a walk.

A lovely little National Trust place. The Old Hall is very good staffed by knowledgeable, enthusiastic and approachable volunteers. A fun mud kitchen in the woods, wild meadows to walk through, a tree castle for the kids to play in and great second hand bookshop. Really nice place to visit for a couple of hours.

Lovely old house with a very interesting history (in the 1660s, King Charles II hided in this house while trying to escape the troops of the man who ordered the execution of his father). The surrounding gardens are very well maintained and it's a beautiful place to spend a quiet and relaxing afternoon. The tea room is small with limited choices but with enough variety to satisfy a small craving. And all the volunteers we've met were friendly and knowledgable about the house.

Beautiful peaceful National Trust Location We were welcomed in the parking area by Happy Smiling personnel and again at reception. We enjoyed our walk around the woodland. We found two Geocaches ☺ our family dog enjoyed his walk too. We will return to visit the Hall. Thank you for making our visit memorable

National Trust - Moseley Old Hall is a historical house, a garden and cafe as well. You can bring your kids if they are interested in history. it is free for the National Trust membership. There is a car park free for everyone.

Lovely property to visit on a Sunday morning. My partner and I had an excellent tour by Colin and learned some great stories about Charles II. Also a very tasty tea room with an excellent Victoria Sponge! Some beautiful woods and grounds to walk round, not the longest walk in the world but there is a friendly peacock and some less friendly bees to make the stroll worthwhile

Beautiful mansion in a very quite, calm & relaxing area. It's located off the main road, therefore there's no traffic or other form of noise pollution nearby it so I would recommend to anyone who's looking for some stillness and tranquility. The gardens, woodland and the building as a whole are all very well maintained and looked after. The past/history of this place is unique and very interesting. But despite its beauty, it was not crowded or overwhelmed by the visitor's. On one hand, it's a shame because it truly deserves much more attention. On the other hang though, the positive side of this is that it cannot be one frustrating even on a relatively busy weekend or bank holiday, and places around the property can be easily accessed without excessive waiting or queuing. Recommended, including to families with small kids (there are activities even for them.)

Very nice historic house, run by the national trust. A tenner each to get in. Everything is well looked after and when we went, there were numerous volunteers around the house explaining the different rooms and the history of how King Charles II was in hiding and on the run. I think the tree that he had hidden in is closer to Boscobel House which is nearer Wolverhampton town centre. All of the furniture inside is period correct, which is basically hand carved. The textiles are all hand made and interesting. There a load of oil paintings around the house. Finally, there is a room which highlights some of the specific historical trinkets. Loved it. The gardens are really nice. There a few games for the kids to play. There are a couple of bookshops, a cafe and tearoom. We were probably an hour all in. Didn’t have time for afternoon tea. Maybe next time.

This is a particularly well run National Trust site. Activities are available for children in addition to plenty for adults to enjoy too. The tea room is accessed from some stairs. It is well stocked. The staff are well trained, presentable, friendly and engaging. The gardens are extensive with woodland to wonder about in too. The house is well presented and has plenty to learn about.

Had a really good few hours here today. The volunteers were very knowledgeable about the house and the history especially Mervin, I think his name was, he involved my two sons with dressing up and knowing what boys like to know about history told them all about the fighting and how the younger boys helped around the house too. Enjoyed the walks outside to especially the tree house and dens, will definitely visit in dryer weather to fully appreciate the garden and outdoor. Had a cake and a drink in the cafe, a little pricey but nice.

Lovely house and such friendly guides. Took me right back to King Charles 2's first night here. Great garden and woodland with treehouse for kids play. Cared for and loved.

Nice well kept house and gardens. There's a tree house and pond and a small woodland walk. See the priest hole where Charles II was hidden when fleeing from Cromwell. There is a nice tea room that sells home made cakes and pastries.

One of the smaller NT properties and grounds but still plenty to see. The children enjoyed the games on the grass and the tree house. The gent in the kitchen was wonderful, full of knowledge and very entertaining. The only thing that let down the visit was being asked to start upstairs as a tour was just being started downstairs, fair enough we didn't mind, but before we had even finished upstairs, and bear in mind it's not the biggest house so not lots of rooms, they were ushering us out as the tour wanted to go upstairs and took presidency over us.

A great day out. It did help that it was lovely whether when we went but the farmhouse was very interesting and it seems like we missed the guided tour of the house but one of the volunteers inside was more than happy to talk to us about the paintings and Charles II who was hiding in the house. Very interesting all in all and a great cafe! Recommend, it was great for the kids too as there was a great treehouse in the forest there 😃

Small NT, Old Hall is cute to walk around. Great facilities, lovely walk through the woods 🪵 to the tree hide and kids loved playing in the dens. Little hint.. the are 2 geocashes on the other side of the car park which the kids loved finding!

We had a marvellous time 🍸💕 beautiful theatre 🎥 lots of interesting history albeit the surrounding area isn't the nicest. That doesn't take away from The Grand. A little pricey but captive audience. Ian McKellen and John Bishop and Co were amazing. Great show!

Really beautiful theatre, but do research seats before booking. Some have restricted views of side of stage, small pillars or balcony over hang. Stall seats are comfortable and good leg room.

We finally got to the theatre after 2 years! It was not a disappointing visit. Everything run smoothly and the staff were friendly and helpful. The grand theatre is a lovely building and a great venue to introduce kids to the theatre. This was my daughter's first visit and although she was a bit overwhelmed by it all, she enjoyed it! I can't wait to visit again!

Went to see the panto Alladin. What a great show. Purchasing tickets was easy online, you can also collect from the box office. Door staff were friendly when doing bag searches and all staff were happy and pleasant. Be aware that one bar only serves bottles so if you order a soft drink you only get half a cup! Seats were comfy and our tickets had no restrictions for the views. There are pillars holding the balcony up so check when booking, the seating map does advise you if restricted view. Panto was great but I must ask the question, why do some people go to a panto if they are not going to participate in the booing and clapping to create the atmosphere? Definitely be back for the show next year and any others that appeal in the year ahead.

First time I have been here and wow what a lovely theatre will certainly come back. The theatre is not too big in fact all seats are good viewing seats. The bar was not too busy and well staffed with pleasant people wanting to serve. The only down side was the ladies toilets we had to go downstairs and as usually the queue seamed endless. There are only 6 toilets clearly not enough

First visit after the refurbishment, and the theatre really looks great! The new seats feel bigger than the old ones and are very comfortable. The decor is fantastic, still the old type but looking lovely. Bars and seating so much nicer. The play, 12 Angry Men, was superb. A great night out for a reasonable price!

Booked tickets for the panto for just before Christmas 2021- but with older relative visiting over the festive period didn't want to risk going (Covid-19 the Christmas guest noone invited!) spoke to the box office and they couldn't have been more accommodating and helped us change our tickets for between Christmas and New Year. Cast were great, scenery was clever and the panto jokes....well they were completely as expected! A fantastic family afternoon out - will be booking tickets for next year! 😀

Decent town centre venue with decent parking close by. Went to see Rob Lamberti doing his celebration of George Michael show. Dress Circle first floor seats were easy to find and get to. Crowd was a mixed bag but a lot of late 40’s and early 50’s in plenty of slap and cheap perfume. Behind us were some more elderly patrons who couldn’t stand because of age and illness and people kept standing and dancing all through the performance which meant people who couldn’t stand couldn’t see anything. When your paying £50+ for a ticket to see someone’s back for a couple of hours it’s pretty rubbish. One of the elderly politely asked an (orange lady) (you know the kind) to sit, so they could see and got a mouth full of abuse. I really felt sorry for them. It overshadowed what was a really good show by Rob and the live band. Staff did nothing. I probably won’t return to this venue.

Nice theatre, staff always helpful, bar prices reasonable and easy to park and get to. Been here quite a few times and will come back whenever there’s a show I fancy seeing - filming this part of the show was encouraged by the way… don’t film the shows it’s naughty

Excellent venue for drama, comedy and opera/ballet. Very comfortable seating with great views, good bar and social spaces.

Had a lovely night at this wonderfully refurbished theatre last night watching illegal eagles. Nice to see the traditional architecture in all its glory. Couple of downsides... air conditioning appeared virtually non existent and no ales sold at the bar... considering Wolverhampton has its own brewery you would have thought sales of local ales would a good option.

Had an amazing night last week attending the Judy Love comedy show. The staff, especially the guys on the door and checking tickets, were extremely nice, friendly, helpful and welcoming. As for the venue itself, it is very old and dated, and the seating on the top of the arena is so tight, dark and hard to manoeuvre around. Wasn't very comfortable sat in those tight seats. Thank god for the intervals!

Went to see Six the Musical, amazing! Staff are friendly, the seats are VERY comfy except for limited leg room in front rows of stalls and circles- but it is easy to get around and in a very convenient location!

What a lovely theatre, in a superb state of repair. Seats didn't have loads of leg room but they were comfortable. The staff were lovely, cheerful and helpful. It's not the biggest theatre, but it's cosy and I had a great view of the stage.

Visited during peak pantomime season and was very impressed. The theatre seems to have definitely had refurbishment and the production was amazing. Normally refreshments are extortionate at theatres but pleasantly surprised to have brought three drinks, popcorn and 2 bags of sweets for £20. All round a great night out and good to see the grand in good shape.

Haven't been here in maybe 4 years, my graduation was the last time I visited here. Came tonight to watch the Pundits Tour and had a good time. Layout is good inside the Grand, hoping to come back for more visits in the future. If you don't like crowds then don't try to leave straight away, wait a few mins before trying to exit.

A few of us visited The Grand a few days ago to see the FANTASTIC '12 Angry Men's. The security in the door were super friendly. We had a little joke and went in feeling very welcome. We had booked a booth and staff me us to ask if we had been in the booth before. They made us comfortable and James looked after us during our visit. He was also brilliant, very attentive and helpful throughout. I know we paid more for the booth experience but we would 100% pay for this again as it really made us feel special. A HUGE thanks to all the staff. What a great night out.

We had a superb evening watching the Bonnie and Clyde show. Great Show. Lovely Theatre. Excellent staff. Especially the front of house manager. She went the extra mile to help my wife who is disabled. And our evening was even better as a result of her help and attentiveness. Many thanks. We will be back again soon.

Went to watch life of pi today. Apart from the booking fee, everything was simple and fairly priced. The staff were all very friendly and the drinks and snacks were reasonably priced :) enjoyed our experience.

Always enjoy coming to this theatre, great variety of shows come through, bars can get busy so have time to get a drink, seats have enough leg room but are getting a bit hard these days, hence 4 stars.

Visited recently to watch a matinee showing of Life of Pi. Nice venue with a lovely historical feel to it and easily accessible by public transport. Centre stall seats in row G gave a clear view of the stage.

Great place for a quick visit with the whole family. The place has a lot of history which is interesting to learn about. Lots of great features still intact to this day. A quick video at the start is very informative. Went in winter so the gardens weren't the best but still looked very nice. If you are local to here then pop in for a visit it is worth it plus you can go for a nice stroll in the adjacent park.

Went for a stroll to Bantock House! Needs more things to see inside the house! Although it's free to get in, can't complain!

Popped in for a cuppa and some cake with a mate. It's the first time I've been to the cafe and I am glad I went. We had tea for two and a slice of home made sponge cake each. Very, very tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were pleasant and thoughtful and the cafe was clean and bright, all set in an old charming, barn like, building surrounded by park land. I sat outside in the sunshine, in the courtyard. They also have loos, including disabled, and disabled parking in the car park. I didn't have time to explore, but I'll be back to do just that. What a great place 👍

A great local authority owned house and museum. Lots of history to the house. Interesting artefacts. There are also beautiful grounds and a charming café, selling great cakes. Try the rhubarb and custard cake.

The house is a beautiful wedding venue. Not a big museum but my uncle worked there. He was sorting things in the attic and found a priceless work of art. You can totally image treasures squirrelled away all over the house. Nice mini golf course. Well maintained and was free at the time of my visit. Also woodland and playing fields. Mushrooms in the autumn.

We had our wedding here.. the house is just amazing and the grounds ate beautiful... couldn't have asked for a better place to get married. Mel who works there, went above and beyond and really made our day magical.

Great place to visit and see. The house is very well maintained with lots of rooms open to the public. When we visited there were Xmas stalls in most of the rooms which was nice. Will be coming back. There is also a little cafe which serves great hot drinks and a selection of food.

Free parking, free entry. Haven’t been for years and years. There was a wedding on, so a couple of the rooms were in use. There are a couple of videos around the house showing the history of the grounds and owners. Only the first two floors were accessible. Plenty of small displays of old china sets, clothes, paperwork etc. in the games room there are some portraits of Wolverhampton industrialists and some history of their businesses. There is a bit of a gift shop where you can also hire golf clubs for the pitch and putt. There are some gardens behind the house which are nice. Then the tea shop before you get back to the car. There’s always time for tiffin. Not a bad way to spend an hour, just remember that it is free.

Never been here before but I had wonderful afternoon out! Nice weather and grand history with lovely rooms and lovely staff, nice fields at back of house if you like walking!! Great gift stalls too, highly recommend!! Easy to access also.

2 years ago I married my best friend at Bantock House and Gardens. It was amazing, the staff were so helpful leading up to the day and on the big day. The garden is spacious and stunning, perfect for people interested in taking pictures and videos of scenery ect. The museum itself is lovely, it is interesting to see things from the past. Given the opportunity to see various different rooms, items, outfits and staff are very knowledgeable. Will be visiting again as I know I have not seen everything or visited the cafe.

Unfortunately the cafe was closed ,even though we arrived well before closing time as advertised! Beautiful grounds, brilliant park, play areas, and gym for everyone to use. Free car park.

Bantock House is a wonderful piece of local history. Nestled in Bantock Park, the house and gardens make for a lovely morning or afternoon out. My favourite rooms are the dining room and the drawing room. Sadly, due to covid restrictions, the dressing up section is still closed but there’s plenty to see for children and adults. In the entrance, there were spider plants for sale in exchange for a donation, and a community bookshelf doing the same. The house is free to enter, but there is a suggested donation of £2. Once you are finished viewing the house, the Dutch garden is always popular, I love the rose garden, plus there’s always the cafe selling a range of hot and cold food & drinks, and if you’ve got kids, the play area a bit further down. For a ‘freebie’ it’s great and I only wish more people visited the place. However, it does host events regularly such as antique fairs, craft fairs and a 1940s weekend usually in the September I believe but it’s been a few years since I went to one!

Amazing and beautiful. Spacious, especially if you have children. There were parks and I loved the little lake with swans,geese and birds flying everywhere.

Very spacious and lots of fun activities for kids **Tennis courts available for hire*** Nothing more relaxing than peaceful area next to you: No regrets other than the smokers here and there ruin the area. (The people should not be allowed to smoke inside the park). People come there to relax and enjoy the breeze from the nature not from poisonous cigarettes. Thats the only drawback. Hopefully management will take care of that and make strict rules for breaking them.

West Park is vibrant, beautiful, therapeutic and relaxing. I've been for long walks with family and alone. It's also great when the fairs are on. I've been going to this park for many years and it's one of the best parks around in my opinion. 😍 I love looking at the swans and watching the ducks and cheeky squirrels. The conservatory is very nice to walk around and there is a pleasant tea room/shop area. Decent toilets although unsure why the light is a dark blue in the disabled toilet? The Park is very well maintained and the trees and flowers are a joy to gaze at. Would like to see some wardens as I saw someone who wasn't too friendly with his two dogs, shouting and swearing which was scary and unpleasant. Although a one off I would have liked to have seen or been able to contact a warden for help/assistance. Overall it's a relaxing time out 😎 ps Been trying to no avail adding images of the swans, ducks and scenery but they will not load 🤔

It's such a loving place to relax and beautiful scenery of trees, fields, marshland field with swimming birds, pigeons, and different species of ducks. Sight of families with kids at play. Elderly people walking round and having social life, people riding on bicycle, some people playing football at the field. Others are playing lawn tennis. And a coffee shop to get some hot coffee. It's a beautiful place to be. When I go there, I think of Paradise. Its peaceful, its beautiful and full of fun.

A breathtaking place to visit with your friends and family. Very spacious and large park with beautiful lake inside and playing area for kids. It is so nice to have a picnic here as well and meditate if you like. Generally speaking it is must be visited if you live around wolverhampton. Free entrance. Free parking for up to 3 hours.

One of the best park in the city. Beautiful and have lot of options for the kids to play. Pond, play area for kids, football play area, walking tracks, toilets etc.. People use it for dog walk also. Many beautiful ducks in the pond makes it even more beautiful. Greenery through out is additional point to add. Even a best place to meet up with friends, family. Clean and tidy area. Kids enjoy feeding the ducks, pigeons, squirrel etc.

Very clean park and family friendly. Plenty of places to sit and relax on a sunny day.

We went to the Luminate experience. It was wonderful and helped with the Christmas magic. Well coordinated, good use of ropes to keep you on the right path. The mid point drinks where expensive but not more than you'd expect from that type of environment. Of course nothing stopping you taking your own hot chocolate and marshmallow for roasting.... It was good that there wasn't too many rides and things at the end and they where fairly priced. They gave the children a reward at the end without breaking the bank.

What a beautiful place. The Autumn colours are beautiful and the colours of Spring are awesome. There are two lakes and many wildfowl. There's a Café and loos. I love it there.

Wonderful park for a walk, run or even cycle with family or friends. Plenty of birds to watch, beautiful lakes and a wide variety of trees and bushes (hide and seek anyone?) Kids play area is great and spacious.

Lovely gardens. Perfect place for a picnic. Playground is great for all ages. Cafe there sells costa coffee (always a win) bring some duck food as ducks seemed very hungry.

We had our first visit to the park today, we had a lovely afternoon with our 8 month old. Very relaxing, beautiful scenery and fantastically well maintained. We visited the cafe as well, lovely little place to get a snack and a Costa coffee. Parking is very accessible and free for 3hrs all around the perimeter of the park. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a visit.

The beautiful of nature. The scene looks great. There lots of aquatic animals in the lake including ducks and other water birds. The squirrels were friendly and seems domesticated. You can feed them just like the ducks. They were very intelligent and they knew when you were feeding them. There were also beautiful grasses and garden areas with beautiful flowers. Nice trees were all over the place. There was a statue of Charles Pelham between the gardens and the lake. The park is good for relaxation, site seeing, picnic and the likes. I visit regularly with my family.

Wow lived most of my life in Wolves and had never been here before. Glad we did as it gives you the vibe of a central London gallery/museum albeit on a small scale. The inside is modern in contrast to it's more traditional exterior. There's a nice balance between old exhibits and more modern contemporary and digital exhibits.

Really friendly staff who were approachable and happy to answer my questions. The exhibits were interesting and not something I'd usually see, and of course you can't complain when there is no entry cost! Of course, there is also a really lovely gift shop which has a good selection for gifts as well as some fabulous art postcards too.

Wonderful experience would defiantly go again when I have the chance, very beautiful paintings and photos with deep meaning. Would recommend if you love any form of art.

Had a brilliant evening at the gallery's Friday lates event. Highly recommend 👌🏾

Great free art gallery and museum. Located in the middle of the city. Nice and clean with decent exhibits. Also had a cafe in the top floor which is reasonable. Music exhibition was taking place focusing on local bands and artists. During school holidays kids events take place most of which are free!

Well curated and thought-provoking. Display text a little small but very informative. Clever juxtaposition of art-work and artefacts. Excellent celebration of cultural identity. Cafe served lovely food quickly. The only negative is that there are no lockers so had to carry everything around and trudge around in wet clothes on a very rainy day.

We really enjoyed visiting the Black Country Beats exhibition. This is a lovely venue and there were various ways to interact with the exhibits (audio, video and headphones). I particularly enjoyed the 90s room with the Ned's, Poppies and Wonder Stuff items.

I must say,I was totally impressed with visiting the art gallery recently. After living here for decades,I have never been inside. I had a business meeting there,in their recreational area. Fully equipped with comfortable seating,and oh, their hot chocolate is totally exquisite. And their scones superb and tasty. After my meeting,I ventured into the many rooms and wondered why I had never visited before. I would definitely recommend this place😀😎👍

A lovely art centre, went to see the Black Country Beats, very informative member of staff who directed us to the exhibition hall. Brought back some great memories and there was plenty to see and pass away a few hours. Free entry and we parked above the main shopping centre in the town, quite reasonably priced.

Small art gallery in Wolverhampton City Centre. Several galleries inside with temporary and permanent exhibitions. Was glad to see the Maquette of King Kong when I arrived. Also the see-saw on the first floor. Spent most of my time in the Glaze café. A short distance from the railway station and terminus tram stops.

We had an excellent night at The Halls for Seal's concert last week. Entry via security was smooth, the bar well staffed and the toilets clean. There was a hiccup with our row actually missing, but we were quickly reseated just a few rows from the front - thanks! Perhaps most impressive was the sound. I'm unsure if that is a venue thing but it was crystal clear.

Went to the Halls in Wolverhampton to see the Hives. First time going to this venue since it reopened. The venue was really good and the sound was amazing. There is parking over the road at the civic Hall, and public transport is really good too, with both rail, tram and bus connections. The crowd control was fantastic with seating and standing split into different lines from the outset. Didn't take long to get inside either and there were plenty of staff to direct you. There were a good selection of drinks available at the bar, although a bit expensive. Would recommend this venue to see a band.

Love this venue. Been here on numerous occasions from music gigs to the darts. Would have 5 stars but I think it's a tad expensive once inside. Otherwise it's one of my favourite places to see live music.

Went to see Robert plant 5years ago and he played all his famous zeppelin songs had a great time

The venue is newly refurbished and looks great. The Shires acoustic set was incredible. Top tip: there is a bar upstairs, the balcony is small so there are not many people queuing for drinks.

Fantastic venue. Very modern and fresh decor. I didn't know what to expect as I'm not local, but it couldn't have been better. The seats are quite new and in good shape. A lady had reported her seat was broken and replaced the bench of 4 seats within minutes with spares. This is preparation. The bars are plentiful and okay cost. The man who served me was a little dim, not sure how he got the job, but the supervisor was there to guide him to what lemonade was. The seats we had were in HH towards the back of the hall but still had a good view. Considering we watched Penn & Teller, who are magicians, the only good seats would have been from the terraces. There were cameras for 2 projectors. However, they didn't add anything and never zoomed in. They needed a camera from above the see the card tricks closer. I would definitely consider returning here for an event, even if it is a 2 hour car journey away from home.

I went to see the levellers last night and it’s the first time I have been to the halls since it has reopened. We were on the top balcony on the right as you face the stage. We could only get balcony tickets and I was disappointed as I would have chosen standing/stalls if they were available. However the seats were great, the view was excellent, the top bar top right is called the vip bar but anyone can use it and it was really quiet with no queue when I went. The toilets are so nice there too, I mean super nice. Its was like the seating and experience I’ve had when you pay for better seats at the NEC. I don’t think I would choose to stand again. I think you might be able to sneak back down to standing, but I didn’t bother trying, it looked heaving. The staff everywhere were lovely showing you where to go. The only downside as lots of people have said is the price of the drinks which is eye watering and you pay for the cup and then I think you might get the money back but I forgot to do that. They are reusable plastic though so that’s a plus.

Great venue for boxing, great view from the balcony. Unreserved seating so get there early for best seats. Only negative is the cost of beer, long bar queue but that's the same for most venues.

Visited The Halls last night and I've got to say how impressed I was with the venue. The decor was nice, the new layout with the toilets and the bar at the back worked well. Sound quality excellent. Only gripe is assuming everyone wants to donate £1 towards a charity for the plastic cups. Paying £7.50 for a pint of lager now becomes £8.50 for the first drink. I didn't mind but others might. All in all greatly improved from the Civic days.

Back to civic to see the charlatans. Can't really fault the place after all these year. Venue is great and just the right size to ensure everyone gets a decent view. Cloak rooms, bars, decent toilets, stacks of security, especially outside.

Really nice venue. Staff were helpful getting me to my seat as I have a disability. Although, they could've pointed out that lifts are available 🫣 glad my sister "career " was with me to help with the steps and going to the bar during the show.

Brilliant venue quite small but seems big and sounds amazing in there. Great for sering bands up close highly reccomend...beers are a bit pricey but apart from that everything was brilliant.

Attended The Halls to see Professor Brian Cox, my first visit in some time and it's had a lot ot money invested in it. Looks good now and is well designed with up to date facilities. Recommend a visit.

Lovely venue, we had a blast. The only thing is when you on your seat can not see the stage, lots of heads, then everyone stood up for all the concert and still hard to see. Bar prices are a bit high, and I spend over 200 pounds for 3 people. The first row is best but prob super expensive. I did menage to go to the front to take some good photos but was told off to go back 😫😪 lots of staff and security, no pictures after the concert which I hoped for 😢

We watched The Hives here yesterday ( they were incredible !). The Halls was easy to access with parking just opposite at the Civic Center Car Park. Ladies toilets were clean and minimal queue 30 mins before the support act started. The staff were very friendly and gave us in depth directions to our seats. View from our seat was amazing. Will definitely visit this venue again.

Great venue for all sorts of gigs Safe and secure. Drinks expensive but what isn’t these days. Anyway I’m there to see the bands and this is a great place to see them. Parking is opposite the halls so that’s a bonus too

Following a refurbishment, this old venue has been updated with a better layout and new top tier. The bars are expensive but it's much easier to get served. A great place to see a band. Pictures are from Suede.

Very good venue for music concerts, with exceptional access to bars and toilet facilities. Drinks prices are too high, though, at £16 for a glass of wine and a beer ! Also, if you use the car park opposite, it's £6.50 for anytime after 6 pm, even for just 2 hours !

Really good fun for the kids, picking (definitely not eating 🤐) the wonderful strawberries 🍓 2 punnets full will cost you about £12, same price as the shops but taste so much better. The farm shop also has a massive choice of excellent foods and meat.

Came here for the 1st time for pumpkin picking and to be nosey at the butchery! WOW is all we can say the meat is of the highest quality we have ever tasted could not fault the price neither for 1x fillet steak 2x tomahawk steaks! Meat practically fell apart never experienced steak like that before! ⭐️ good land for pumpkin picking etc good variety to pick from brilliant pricing! Will be returning to strawb pick next year!🍓. We originally went to trial the restaurant on site however chose a pork/stuffing bap which yet again was high end quality meat alongside soft fluffy baps. Couldn’t fault this place will be returning for the meat section veg etc as pricing is much cheaper then supermarkets. Also good on-site parking. ⭐️HIGHLY RECOMMEND⭐️

went for an afternoon tea today in the cafe restaurant, it was absolutely beautiful, great food, friendly staff, couldn't have done anymore for us, sandwiches were lovely and fresh, cakes were delicious and the scones to die for 😋 will be back for more - we also mooched around the shop and picked up a few bits and pieces to enjoy - thank you

Didn't realise you had to book prior to coming. Was able to book then and there. Was fun activity and plenty of different types of pumpkins.

Great meats but Cafe was a misrepresentation of their products. I guess you can say the cafe "butchered" the food. Gammon and Chips, the chips I suspect was fried in oil not upto temperature on the final fry, super oily that you could not finish the small basket. The Gammon was the worst part, what look like a great product was totally ruined, it looked like boiled ham, see the pictures for yourself. Looking around I can see most people were there for drinks only, might be the prices or might be the way the kitchen prepares the food. There was hardly anyone eating that day so there's really no excuse why the food looked so rushed. Maybe in a Wetherspoons, you can get away with it but not here for what they are charging. Shame.

I went primarily for lunch with my wife and a friend, I had the roast beef, a little overcooked for my liking and tough beef. The fish and chips was okay but " triple cooked chips" result in a lot of crunchy bits of chip. Once cooked would be fine. Beer batter on the fish was hard in places. Overall the food was acceptable but expensive for what you got. Having said that the staff were pleasant and helpful and the farm shop was well worth the visit, I shall go again but confine myself to the shop

Just had a beef dinner at the farm & it was absolutely beautiful. We then went & purchased some products from the farm shop. Have to say that the staff are very warm & friendly there. Made our trip even more pleasurable 👌

Navigation Nuances: Navigating the aisles can be a tad confusing, especially for first-time visitors. Clearer signage and perhaps a map layout would improve flow and prevent wandering shoppers.

Went there on Strawberry picking event. Very excited to be there and picked up 2 kgs of Strawberry. Lovely place for day out. The resturant is also good. However, the Farm shop is bit expensive compare to Wait Rose or other Groceries.

Expensive and underwhelming food. Me and my partner came here to the restaurant for some lunch which we ordered the steak ciabatta and the ham sandwich but they were both very expensive for what they were and very dry. The steak sandwich came on its own with no sides or sauces which for the price you should get way more. Other than that it’s a nice place and we love the farm shop and the milk van.

Great farm shop and plant nursery also a restaurant and during the season you can pick your own fruit. As is expected at somewhere like this there are a lot of Artisan products although they are not cheap they are worth what you pay. Essington Farm also has a Milk Stop which are becoming very popular prices here are fair as well. In summer it can be a great way to spend a few hours with the kids picking/eating your own fruits.

An ideal place for a quiet Winter midweek walk. Cafe service polite and speedy, bacon & egg bap very enjoyable. The seating area inside is rather cramped but not intolerable. Away from the main buildings it is very peaceful and the pathways are easy to follow if you use common sense.

Lovely woodland walks for the kids and dogs. Tearoom one of the best ever experienced, savoury very tasty and cakes to die for. Farm animal section closed to protect them from avian flu but still a lovely place worth a visit

A real gem in the local area. Lovely walks and great tea room. Really enjoyable couple of hours walking through woods carpeted with snowdrops. Animal enclosures and 'playground' definitely need some TLC. Shame the sensory garden is still "temporarily" closed due to covid 3yrs later!

Lovely free of charge venue, lovely restaurant, a few interesting animals to see, and get quite close too. We particularly enjoyed scratching the pigs' backs and watching the ducks. The people involved in the restaurant are really friendly and helpful, and then there are some very enjoyable walks, our favourite being down to the stream to play poo sticks. Quite good for kids with stabilisers on little bikes, fabulous for well controlled dogs.

Absolutely lovely as always today, delicious breakfast, perfectly cooked, excellent service, and beautiful cakes that we took home! The ladies (Georgie, Carol, Leah) and the whole team are lovely! It’s no wonder the place is always busy, it’s the best! 🥰❤️

Free entry to a working farm. Clean courtyard, friendly Farm staff. Plus an onsite tea room that has home cooked food including hot meals and cakes and drinks which can be taken away.

Great place to take the kids. You can see farm animals. There is a tea room. There is a sensory garden too though it is currently temporarily still closed as a result of COVID19. There is a car park right next door for easy access and you can walk straight into Northycote Country park with great walks, woods, space ...etc. is not far from Wolverhampton but feels remote and off the beaten track. Love it. Often take the family there.

Very disappointed with this farm. They only had a few sheep that you could see and some lambs. The birds were inside due to aviation flu so that was beyond their control. The trail around by the farm wasn't great neither was the cafe at the farm. Overall a huge let down. Would not recommend bringing young kids here.

On The Monarch's Way just north of Wolverhampton. The farm house sits on the edge of several acres of walks, woodland and fields. A great place to wander around to your heart's content. Oh, and it's easy to get lost too! There is a good small tearoom that serves good coffee and snacks. Don't miss this if your in the vicinity..... it's free to visit!

A great little cafe with delicious cakes & a good range of food for adults and children. The cafe does take cards & toilets are right next to it for public access. At peak times (mainly weekends & school holidays) you may struggle to get a seat, particularly if you are a group of 5+ as the pics show. Dogs are not allowed in the farm area but are allowed in the cafe and surrounding area.

Wow, how have we not been before. This little zoo is incredible. Lovely staff, well looked after and healthy animals, and the bird show, wow, it made me feel really emotional. The whole thing is incredible

Such an Amazing day out. It’s not a huge place but there’s plenty of animals / creatures and I’d actually rate here higher than most larger zoos Iv visited. Friendly staff also and just a lovely atmosphere. It was clearly visible that this isn’t just a job to the staff here, they love the animals and love what they do. You can really see the care they give these animals, so heart warming to see. The bird show was phenomenal and Zack the host was such a laugh.. he had everyone in bouts of laughter. Got to hold some creatures and parakeets which the kids LOVED! I highly recommend visiting here.. really enjoyed it and a great family day out. We will be returning for sure 🥰

My son and I visited for the first time today and it was incredible! Perfect sized place for little ones, the staff were all so friendly and helpful it was such a lovely experience! The bird show was amazing! The host was so funny and knowledgeable and the birds were breathtaking! Cannot wait to come back

Really enjoyed our visit. The place is really well designed/built and looks amazing! The wallaby walk through was great- the staff gave us some bamboo to feed them which we haven’t experienced before. The lorikeets shortly after were really interactive- we were given little pots of nectar and they landed on you to feed. There was a good selection of animals, and the staff were friendly (some were quite young and not so confident with the public, not an issue). Highlight of the day were the animal shows- especially the bird show. It was awesome to see some of the birds in flight, and the finale of 30+ birds all flying around set to music was amazing- something I’ve never experienced anywhere! Thought it was a little pricey before we went, but the animal shows were easily worth half the ticket price alone. One thing that would be great would a refreshment kiosk- it was quite a hot day and we would have gladly purchased drinks/snacks. Great place, will certainly revisit!

most beautifully maintained little zoo I've ever seen all animals seem so happy, lovely clean enclosures staff happy and enthusiastic to interact with people answer questions etc. Can't say enough about what an absolute treasure of a place this is went with autistic teenagers and they were so happy the whole time and can't wait to go again. Please go and support them and give yourself a treat ps the live animal shows are AMAZING!!!!! closest and best experience and won't say more as don't want to ruin the surprise.

Came to the Wild Zoological Park today with the family. What a cracking little place this is. All the animals are well looked after, and the shows are great, especially the flying bird show, kites, vultures, hawks, makaws, and other birds all flying together. The handlers and staff are very knowledgeable and entertaining. Would recommend to all. A great day was had by all. Will definitely return and recommend.

Amazing place, perfectly sized so that you're able to see everything without feeling like you've missed something. The animals are evidently adored by staff, all of whom are engaged, pleasant and approachable. Halfpenny Green is a great location and the park is surrounded by independent businesses that are all worth visiting. All in all, highly recommended.

Excellent small zoo. Wonderful exotic species brilliantly displayed and well kept. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. The free flying bird displays, including Raptors, parrots and other bird types, are absolutely stunning. It is lovely to be able to walk among the lorikeets and hand feed them. A wonderful and memorable experience.

Had a lovely day with the family. Awesome staff and really fun entertaining shows. Well worth the ticket price. I would suggest to take a packed lunch / picnic. The free flying bird show is amazing.

Amazing little zoo, been here 4/5 times now. My daughter (age 2) loves it. She was a little scared of the dinosaur show just due to the size of the dinosaurs but the show itself would be great for kids a little older. Blown away by the free flying bird show every time we come. And the staff are wonderful, very insightful and helpful. If it's wet, bring your wellies/boots as the trails can get muddy.

Absolutely lovely visit to wild. We held lizards, snakes, had parakeets sitting on our heads and saw the best free flying bird show ever. Staff were helpful and well informed. Highly recommend.

Incredible family experience, up close to a huge range of creatures. The shows are amazing. Especially the bird show, which is absolutely spectacular - this show alone is worth the entry fee! We can't wait to go back. Good facilities, parking and access. Not like any other zoo I've been to, where you watch animals in their enclosures from afar, here you're right in the action bringing an intimate and unique experience which is far more memorable and exciting for all ages. Awesome place!!

Absoloutely amazing place to visit with family. We visited during Easter half term, the staff were awesome and filled with banter and made everyone laugh, the animal encounters were so much fun and the shows were so informative, Absoloutely stunning bird show too! Definitely a must see 🙌🏼

Absolutely wonderful experience. We were given a tour by the lovely Estie and team. There were kangaroos, meercats, and opportunities to feed the birds. I would advise the bird show and the animal meet sessions. We were able to handle animals safely and supported by staff. The zoo itself is situated in a beautiful vineyard with multiple small businesses set up around it on entry. Cafe is fantastic, and the farm shop had some lively bits and pieces. Highly recommended.

Ordered some Banks's Mild on line and it arrived 2 days later. Really pleased with the delivery and the driver was very polite.

What a hidden Gem and right on the Doorstep. I have done many different Brewery tours across Europe and the best and most interesting is right here in Wolverhampton A lot of credit must go to our tour guide Bob Edwards who is just bursting with pride in the Banks Brewery and in the Beer.

Disgusted that they have reduced Banks's amber abv from 3.8% to 3.4%. Their motto was unspoilt by progress, well that no longer applies.

Great tour, learned a lot, including how to pour perfect pint, not to mention open bar :)

Went for abba night. Band advertised at 7.30 but didn't appear till 10. Floor very sticky. Good atmosphere and good tribute act Becky. Would visit again but would prefer if bands came on at the advertised time.

Went for a gig. They were a little late starting but it was a great gig. Little bit of a line for drinks but they have a great variety of drinks, and enough seating and standing space. I've been there a few times.

Brilliant for gigs, great atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Would just like to say that me and my daughter came to stay and we had a great time the room was amazing clean and a lovely room.The receptionist was brilliant Dee she was very friendly welcoming and a very bubbly lovely lady. Never been before, great venue. Spacious, friendly bar staff and a great stage. The Vapors supported by Humdrum Express and Pure Gold Babies. £13.00 total bargain and will be back for Spike, UK Subs and gutted I missed Toyah.

Went last night the so called owner had attitude towards people he told one of us no football shirts he ruined our night we were told to get there early if you want to get a seat we did and was told to be early the guy didn't know how to smile I loved this place but I will never spend another penny here again we were at the front of the queue and the guy though he was better than us and sent us outside but he let others to the front make of my review what you like but a lot of people were saying how he come across as arrogant. And I appreciate he has spent 100s so of thousands of pounds on the place but he needs to learn some manners. Overall the place is fantastic. Just 16 of us had our night ruined by his attitude. But 10 /10 for the venue.

We booked The Robin very last minute after being let down by another accommodation. The room was very basic, however it was the comfiest sleep in a great bed, spotlessly clean and the girl at reception could not have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again. Thank you @the robin

Been coming here for years way before the new owner but I don't want to come anymore ....came to see abba Saturday night but they didn't come on till 10pm so I went to asks why ? To be told to move away and shut up absolutely disgusting way to speak to paying customers then I was told I can't use the disabled toilet ...fuming as not all disabilities are seen and you most certainly don't want to have to explain . So for me it's shepwells from now on ..where drinks are cheaper tribute acts are free and staff are much more friendly

Handy being right next to the robin after a night out. Free WiFi and the bed was comfy. Not very clean... Dusty and dirty, no soap or shower gels. Poor tea/coffee set up. Hairs on the towel Needs some tlc

Just arrived home from kick up the 80s what a fantastic gig it was , unfortunately our night was spoiled by rude security staff , the big fella that stamps your hand on entry. We arrived and unfortunately I had mistakenly deleted my email of proof of ticket purchase, I gave my name to the owners son who confirmed my two tickets were down on the entry sheet . Whilst I was talking to the gentleman, the security intervened and ask me to stand back ? How rude and I suggest this security guy needs lessons in manners . Later in the evening my partner went to.the bar to purchase bottle water , to be told they had sold out ( fair enough was busy ). She asked for tap water , to be told that would be 40p for a pint . By law in England & Wales tap water should be provided free of charge on request, robin sort yourselves out , because your not above the law !!!

Bilston market is both indoor and outdoor, there are toilet facilities in the indoor market. Bilston Market is one of the best local Markets, with a wide range of stall holders selling various items. Iron mongers, fashions for all ages, shoes, furniture, fresh fruit and veg, jewellery, flowers, bakers and a good fresh meat Isle with great meat, fish and poultry. Outside is a large outdoor area of stalls with various traders. Cafes are close by. Well worth a visit.

Nice, friendly, not overly pricey place, where you can find anything you need.😁👌The car parking there is big and free of charge. The fruit there is just £1, more than a bargain. 💯☺️Highly recommend to anyone who has a limited budget.

Bilston market is a wonderful place to get such a massive variety of goods. You can get most things. Electrical, bedding, menswear, ladies wear,fresh fruit and vegetables, such a huge variety of meats. It's worth a visit. Enjoy

Unfortunately the community spirit of markets are becoming a thing of the past because they are all being closed slowly. I enjoyed visiting this market and would visit again . Friendly and helpful stallholders.

One of the best markets I have been to In a while. You can buy anything and everything here. Would definitely recommend going there. It's also very easy to get there as its close to the bus, train and metro stations.

Haven't been to Bilston market since before lockdown. I really enjoyed my visit. There are plenty of bargains to be had both in the indoor and outdoor markets. I eventually managed to find somewhere to park not too far from the market and the real bonus is that it was free parking. If you haven't already been to this place,I would recommend that you visit.

Shop here on a weekly basis the market has plenty of variety I highly recommend if you like a good old fashioned market. The outdoor market like most others is getting sparse for stalls but I door offers wide variety of products.

The market appeared to have gone downhill over the last month's. But have been today 20/12/22 and what a change, most of the stalls were in use and the place was heaving. I'm sure if the public keep attending the market would soon get back to its normal bustling self 12mts of the year.

Love the market. With so many independent retailers that have vanished off the high street, it's nice to be able to find so many in one place. Fresh produce from fish, to meat, veg and baked goods. But also hardware, clothing, and lots more.

If you want to spend the whole night queuing at the bar then this is the place for you. Crazy

Took my husband for his Birthday, really enjoyed it great atmosphere we had a laugh,food was good,the waiter was lovely, just a little slow. But really friendly and would definitely go back!

The races are fun and it's a very inviting atmosphere. I will say the food could've been a bit better.

Great place for a lovely meal and a bit of entertainment.. probably worth looking up what goes on during the evening because it can seem a bit overwhelming, especially if you don't know much about betting. Definitely looks a lot nicer inside than it does from the outside.

Cracking night out. We went with work and had party tickets. Entry, food and 2 drinks for £14, a bargin. The staff were fantastic. Especially the ones working the tote, they really helped make the night. We are already planning another night out there.

Another great night, food was very under parr this visit, dirty glasses given, baby prepared salad, making it inedible and burnt pudding . All issues dealt with quickly on site but worse visit to restaurant, still a good night.

Had three course dinner plus entry and a programme for £30 .well looked after by all staff that I met which made it a better night based on the results !! Walked back to Wolverhampton train station using Google maps as failed to get a taxi from the four numbers I had .Easy walk back turn right leaving the dogs and left at the bottom of the RD and stay on main RD BEST WISHES AGAIN TO STAFF AT MONMORE especially JODIE in the restaurant and JESS tote betting table service. Great night out, party of us from work visited and we all enjoyed ourselves. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming.

Visited several times. Recently booked a restaurant table but realised one of the people couldn't make it. This was 5 weeks before the booking. Asked if we could change. No we couldn't. Can understand if we weren't giving notice but this is shoddy practice. Got someone else to step in but won't be booking again.

We went on a pub night out , it was a superb night . The food was spot on and delivered promptly. The service was perfect , Megan who looked after us couldn’t do enough and a major asset to the organisation. All in all a fantastic experience , highly recommend.

Went with all the family for a 60th birthday meal. Food was fab and worth the money. We all had an amazing time and the staff were brilliant. Will be going again.

Not like it used to be. Fairly empty even though it was free to get in, but people have got other more important things to spend their money on. Still the kids could run round a little bit. Shame security are so gung ho making sure you don't go over the yellow line and tell you to move back even when you are 3 steps behind it!

Had a box for race day and certainly enjoyed great service and privacy. Shame the 4 adults' fish & chips meal was dry and very disappointing. Kids' breakfast was excellent. The food menu needs a wider choice and improved quality to give the experience a wow factor.

We visited the St Peters Collegiate Church in Wolverhampton by the off chance after walking across town and I thought this church looked lovely. We walked in and there was a darker feel to the place. Oftentimes when it comes to church the stained windows are the highlight for how bright and vivid they look. Instead, it looked bleak and dull and looked like they could do with a good wash. The building inside was nice and the visitor centre had a lot of good information there to educate people about the history.

Wolverhampton Cathedral has a long history, beginning with a small chapel in the 10th century. The current cathedral was built in the 19th century and is a significant symbol of architecture, culture, and religion in the town. It has undergone several renovations and has served as an essential landmark for centuries. Personally, I have visited Wolverhampton Cathedral many times and have always been struck by its stunning architecture and deep history. It's a place of great cultural and religious significance in the area and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the town.

Beautiful church. My son and I attended a memorial service there before the final home game of the 22/23 season, Wolves vs Everton. It was for multi faith and those of no faith, which was great and the first time I have heard that in a church. 😇

The oldest location in wolverhampton, as written here. I loved the place.

Said to be the oldest building in Wolverhampton, St Peter's Collegiate Church is on the site of an medieval monastery but itself was largely built in the 14th and 15th centuries. The red sandstone building is a clear example of the Decorated style, particularly ornate and impressive. Inside the church, the nave has a very high ceiling with highly decorated roof timbers. There is a 15th century font and an incredibly impressive pulpit. The chancel is long and narrow, with another impressive ceiling. The woodwork is intricately carved. The church is fairly easy to access, and the surrounding gardens are pleasant.

Only saw outside as doesn’t open till 11am and we was here at 9am But was nice to look around

It is active Church of England church with heart-warming and open community. A lot of work and effort investing into choir which is audible clearly on services and else. Also prominent historical landmark and simply beautiful place, surrounding garden including. Free entry when open. Recommended. Apologies for clumsy language- I'm still improving it.

Beautiful building both inside and out. The Church is open most days for a few hours for reflection and private prayer, and there are some weekday services as well as Sunday. There are always friendly and approachable people inside who have helped me greatly.
