Really wonderful day here, we thought it would only be a couple of hours however we spent 4h here and enjoyed every moment. Great food for lunch, with a special for October where you get a kids meal for free for each adult meal you order, great value! They had a computer issue at the time of entry to had a short wait but even then they did well to revert to manual operations and clear the minor queue. Highly recommended day out

Please give me a 👍 if helpful. First the pluses: A beautiful park village, well kept and with re-erected old buildings from the Victorian period. The hosts in the old houses, shops and businesses were all dressed in period costumes and they were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with some showing ancient crafts hands on. You were also able to purchase some freshly "minted" coins from back in the day and use them to purchase items in the shops at typical prices of the day. You can use them, keep them or cash them in at the end. Whichever suits you best. We had a very pleasant walk by a stream through the woods. You can also have a horse drawn ride through the streets. A brilliant but costly day out. Entrance fee £23.50 per person and you have to pay for parking which was £5 in our case but the machine didn't work and had to pay later from home 🤷‍♂️ I feel that once inside all experiences in the village should be free and especially so the small rides for children which are about £2 per ride but unfortunately they are not. Other experience also attract an extra cost. Some attractions were closed.

My husband and I had a wonderful day here with our dog. The staff and volunteers are so friendly, it made the day extra special, and they are happy to answer questions as well as do a little role play to help the history 'come to life'. There's lots to see and you can go at your own pace, but wear some comfy shoes as some of the paths are uneven and a bit rough. The exhibits are naturally arranged in shops, work places, church, school, and homes, which you can walk around, touch, sit on etc, to give a real sense of life in Victorian times. Unfortunately a couple of the buildings were closed when we attended. There's a fully functioning pub, where you can have a pint and a singsong, and a traditional fish and chip shop where you can purchase your dinner/lunch. The bakery makes bread but it sells out very quickly! There are a couple of cafes which sell a variety of hot and cold drinks, cakes, ice cream, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and meals. We had a jacket potato for lunch, it came with salad, and it was a generous portion for just £6.50. Our morning coffee and a flapjack was less good value for money but tasty. The attraction appears to hold themed weekends and special events throughout the year, we managed to be there when they were holding a dog show! It was a very informal and fun event and our dog enjoyed talking part. He received a certificate and a treat.

What a day, a brilliant blast from the past. All in costume of the 1900's..visit the Lloyd's bank first as you go onto the street to get your old money to spend in the shops.Visit the chippy to have traditional fish n chips cooked in beef dripping .Or see how they used to make candles.Then down to the fair to have a go at the coconut shy or a go on the roundabout swings.there is alot more there but to much to mention. Dogs are welcome there's only a few shops they are NOT allowed in which is the bakery and the sweet shop.

Had a wonderful day here stepping back in time. The staff were fabulous and took the time to answer any questions. There is plenty to see and do. Easy to fill up a whole day wandering around. Great collection of artefacts on display. Nice pub and fish and chips shop. Recommend to everyone.

Visited for the Christmas event and could not recommend this enough! So much better than the Black Country Living Museum. Really impressed with the town and activities for children. Visiting Santa was so impressive for the children. Must see attraction.

What a great day out. Do wrap up warm if going this winter as we had some snow. Walk through the village and have a ride in the horse 🐴 and cart. You have to try the 🐟 & chips (cooked in beef fat) these are to die for. Get there early and visit the bakery for fresh bread and cakes. Go and visit the fair and Punch & Judy in the big top, it's great for adults and children.

What a fantastic living village / museum. There is so much to do for young and old and very family friendly. Most of the buildings are staffed by characters. Who are knowledgeable , entertaining and interesting. This is a great day out with loads to do and see. I qould highly recommend it to everyone.

Really enjoyed visiting this Victorian town! Loved the fact that people were dressed up for the time and the shops and houses all carrying the theme through. Really enjoyed that you could pay in ‘old’ money after exchanging at the bank. We had the fish and chips which was lovely, although the fish was for sure not cod - still delicious though. Who can resist that smell wafting down the street! Horse and cart rides, along with a mini train into a mine and a funicular railway all packed into the place. Great for families and people of all ages and abilities. We went on a fairly quiet weekend so some of the areas weren’t ‘open’ but you could still wander around. Great place and we will definitely return.

Such a great site. Took the kids and grandparents and had a great day walking around and learning about the industry and history of the area. Full credit to the staff and volunteers who were knowledgeable and always happy to explain things. Loved the beef dripping cooked chips and a nice walk around the incline plane which used to move boats from the canal down to the river. The site is dog friendly except for three buildings and our dog loved all the attention she received. Will be coming back for another visit.

Super place to visit, plenty of atmosphere with staff in period dress on hand across the site to inform and educate. Plenty of period buildings to see. Plenty of places to eat etc spread around the site. We paid £20pp for just Blist Hill Victorian Village but that is valid for 12 months. The car park is not free you pay by the hour (which was a little disappointing given the entrance fee)

Wow what two days. We got there for an early morning visit. Then found out we would have to use the lift for my wife's scooter only I forgot she does not like lift's. So out again up a steep incline and the batteries go completely dead. So have to pack up and go find some batteries. Too expensive. so try the next day on another scooter good job we bought two. But anyway the day turned out to be absolutely great. From being met by the on duty policeman who wanted me to buy a licence for our dog which I did. to all the staff on duty and in the shops who helped my wife on her Scooter a BIG thank you. The site is very clean and tidy quite spread out and steep in one place. Don't be frightened to ask any questions you have or just talk to staff they love it. And do change your money the younger kids love it and you can change it back at the end. The disabled parking bays are next to the entrance and the queue of people seem to queue behind the cars instead of on the paths???.

Fantastic day out for all ages. Loads to see. The people who are around the site are very knowledgeable and are happy to answer questions. Loads of places to eat and drink. Plenty of seating. Really enjoyed the train to the clay mine. The tickets given at main entrance allowing a free experience is a great idea. Well worth a trip. Buying the pass that can be used as many times in the year amazing value

Great place to spend at least a full day. Lots of knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff who are very keen to engage with visitors. Interesting real ale served in the pub ... with a lunchtime singsong thrown into the mix. Good chips in the chippy ... not cheap but very tasty. The only downside is that they charge £5 for all day parking on top of the entry fee .... but I guess that's the world we live in these days.

A great place for the whole family. We bought the pass plus so we can go all year for free and it is well worth the money. There is a big playground at the bottom for children to play on with benches and a little food truck (no hot food) donkey rides entertainment old fashioned fair rides and a lift to take you back up the hill if you're unable to walk it, also dog friendly. It really is like stepping back in time all the workers are in costume and play their parts well. My husband loved the fish and chips, and we sat by the river feeding the ducks it was very relaxing. There's a horse bus candle dipping poster making and many more activities that children would like. All in all a brilliant day out

Fantastic victorian experience, fun for all ages. This was a super fun filled day out, from a mine ,horse and cart rides, sweets shops, and funfairs. We enjoyed going into all the shops' cottages and factories, and the new woodland adventure park is a personal highlight. There are plenty of food and drink options and a big car park for a small charge.

This place is well worth a visit. You can easily spend a whole day here, there is so much to do and see. Everything is interactive and there are lots of paid extras that you can engage in and have lots of fun with. When we visited there was a beach set up next to the carnival which was really fun. It is great for all ages, and very wheelchair accessible apart from a fairly steep hill down towards the fun fair, which may be a challenge to push prams or wheelchairs back up. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody that loves history and a fun day out.

Wonderful place. All the staff dressed in period costume. Change your money at the bank on the way in so you can pay in 'old money' at the shops. Buy a pint in the pub, a bun or loaf at the bakers, candles, ribbons, soap, and lots more at all the different shops. Meet George the 'big 'orse', have a trip on the omnibus and enjoy a sing-a-long in the pub. Don't forget to get your fish and chips to eat in the pub too!

We went on a Sunday and had a lot of fun. Evidently by the photos, I really love the Victorian advertising. Blists Hill was great to walk around, and the representatives around the town were really friendly and loved to talk about the town. My only gripe would be the Fish & Chip shop, which had such an inefficient queuing system (serving each customer one after one).

Fabulous, dog friendly place to visit. We bought the 'plus' annual tickets which give 10% off food and gifts and free parking plus entry to all the other museums which we plan to do over the next year. First visit was to the pharmacy which was a delight! The lady in full costume was very knowledgeable and friendly, as were the rest of the team at the other shops and work areas. Good bowl of soup in the canteen area and a lovely cup of tea - Teddy was allowed everywhere except the bakery and sweet shop, he even got a dog treat from the ladies in the fish and chips shop! £1 extra for a ride on the horse and cart, pulled by a beautiful shire called Georgie, Teddy went for free! Expect to spend a few hours here, we loved it.

Definitely worth buying an annual pass if you plan on visiting more than once or more than one site. We absolutely love visiting Blists Hill! There is always so much to do. The staff are amazing! Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, always willing to answer the kids questions. The buildings are all beautiful inside and out as are the grounds themselves. The playarea is brilliant. It's well laid out and engaging. The site is big enough and laid out in a way that it has never felt busy with even when we visited during the Easter holidays.

Amazing, fabulous, all the superlatives. It's like stepping back in time, the shops and trades are so realistic (actual real buildings that have been transported in and rebuilt brick by brick). The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. The most versatile chap there has to be the policeman, school teacher and piano player extraordinaire. Fish and chips were excellent and enjoyed eating them in the pub beer garden. Could have spent more than one day here, as there's so much to see.

Enjoyed the Victorian Chrismas event with my two boys aged 5 and 7, and it's a lovely experience. The train ride was one of the best parts and really nicely done. The queue for the chip shop, bakery and sweet shop was too long at lunch time, so we had to avoid if and go back later on (but we'll worth it!) so best to get there early if possible if you plan on having lunch here. There are some additional activities like a slide, swings, horse & cart ride, which all cost a bit more on top of the entry costs. There is a bank and you can exchange money for replica coins (which my kids loved) to spend in the shops (or use normal money). The staff were all super friendly and we enjoyed the day.

The signs for parking were a bit confusing and the food options are quite limited, but everything else was great. The dinos are great, most of the animals were easy to spot, the play area is big and there were plenty of benches available. The kids had a great time, and want to go back already. A great place for the price

Best day ever! Myself and my 21 year old daughter went for an experience day, and we weren't disappointed. We met and fed Lemurs, meerkats, and a cerval. The staff were lovely and very knowledgeable, they could answer all of our questions. The animal enclosures were all very clean, and you could tell the animals were all extremely well looked after.

A mixture between a farm, a zoo and a dinosaur experience. Lots of opportunities for children to feed and pet animals. The keepers are so happy to talk about the animals here. There are lots of wild cats not normally found in zoos. A lot of the animals have been rescued. We did a carnivore experience, giving us more insight into the background of what goes on and the opportunity to hold or feed some of the animals.

Had a really good day out. Nicely laid out and we saw most of the resident animals which is something you don't always get at larger zoos. Spent 6 hours here with my daughter and granddaughter who played for quite a while on the well equipped playground and we enjoyed a picnic that we brought with us at the tables provided.

Had the most amazing time with my son today. The zoo is lovely and the experience was superb, loved the lemurs. Laughed so much trying to look scared at the dinosaurs and took some fantastic photos. It's a great little zoo and so worth the visit, definitely coming back next year with my little niece and nephew ❤️

Brought my 10 year old daughter the carnivore experience for Christmas and we went today. Absolutely fantastic day and some lovely memories made. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond. Grace our keeper was a font of knowledge, patient, kind and encouraging to my daughter when she was a little wary and great with all the animals. A good number of the animals were rescued. We loved the cheeky otters, lemurs and different owls and cats. The experience itself involved handling a Burmese python, owl, feeding foxes (either arctic or red foxes) and spending time in with a serval cat.

Lovely afternoon out here on a day that had started rainy so it was very quiet. It was bigger than expected with quite a large selection of animals and it was heaven for my daughter who loves foxes and big cats (the biggest here being lynx). We saw others taking part in an experience which we'll definitely do in the future. Some of the enclosures are on the small side but the animals all looked to be in good health. Another review described this place as 'rustic' and I think that hits the nail on the head! In our afternoon there we didn't have as much time as we'd have liked but we did just about get round the animals and Dinosaur wood, I'd say you could easily spend the full day here. The playground areas were fab. We didn't do any of the paid activities as they were largely closed due to the weather and we couldn't do the wallaby or lemur walks either so we'll be back when the weather is better to do the things we missed. Wellies recommended if it's been raining as it is very muddy in places. The intercom/loudspeaker system was very crackly on our visit and we couldn't hear properly what was being said - this may have been down to the weather. Staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. All in all a great day out and we are looking forward to returning!

Wonderful day out for all. Not as big as the other zoos but definitely great value for money. All of the staff are really knowledgeable with a clear love for their jobs. Animals are well cared for with well maintained enclosures. I would recommend the experiences that they provide - excellent value for money and a really memorable experience.

I love this place! I'd go 100 times over, the money goes towards the conservation of these beautiful creatures too. Went with my grandma, aunty and child. They also had incredible food in the cafe, had jacket potato beans and cheese was delightful, whilst the child played on the playground. They had a huge bouncy pillow too, both adults and children can enjoy together ❤️ Go here! You will not regret it.

We went as a couple as we love animals but it's more suited for families. Had a really amazing time though despite this. The animatronic dinosaurs were much more impressive than we thought they would be and we managed to see just about all of the animals! Posted a good few pictures for the review. For families we noticed they have soft play, buggy storage and other activities and you can also buy animal feed for £3 and feed some of the animals too. There's also a cafe which is priced fairly and a gift shop.

A great day out! The walk-through Ring-tailed Lemur enclosure is worth the price of admission alone. I visited on 3rd June 2023 and was lucky enough to see a mother Lemur carrying 2 babies. A member of staff told me that the walk-through enclosure is only open during school holidays and weekends, so be sure to check before going if this is something you're interested in. For me, it made the visit. If you want to save a bit of money, be sure to order online and check for any concessions you may be eligible for.

Really amazing place for all ages. It's a lot bigger than it looks as well. Plenty of animals you can feed, plus we did an experience to meet the carnivores which was hosted by keeper Connor. Absolutely fantastic, super knowledgeable, and all the animals we got to meet were great!!

Great for little ones but wear wellies or boots if it's been raining. The wallaby lemur walks are really good. The selection of animals they have is far greater than I expected and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

Great place with great facilities that are close enough to the car to pop back if you need to. Great play area and varied selection of animals. Dinosaur bit is awesome and the kids thought they were real. If you’re thinking about it I’d definitely recommend it. Bit muddy at this time of year but no bother if you have decent shoes.

It was our first time visiting this place with our 5 year old and it won't be the last. There's so much to do here. My daughter loved feeding the animals and the dinosaur area is great fun. The children's parks are well equipped and there's also lots of places to sit and eat your picnic 🙂

We went with 2 other families. The kids loved playing on the playground area, seeing and feeding the animals. Plus the dinosaurs went over very well. It was muddy from the rain, so I recommend appropriate footwear and pushchairs. I also recommend getting your tickets in advance as they were turning people away

A great day out for all ages. Charming small zoo with an interesting wide range of animals, and also dinosaurs! We enjoyed a zookeeper experience which was well worth the price, and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Little cafe on site serving hot food was a lovely addition to our day as it rained, but still had a lovely time.

Great place for families of all ages. Animals well looked after. Children's area to feed and interact with the animal. Food can be purchased at the entrance at £3, the tub is a reasonable size. Undercover eating areas is a bonus. Great play area with different sized play equipment. Plenty of parking just drive slow and a good helping of uneven potholes. Dinosaur area a defient must for Dino enthusiasts, noisey though so be careful with very young children.

Absolutely amazing day out with my loved ones. Lots to do and see. All the staff are very cheerful and helpful. Food is reasonably priced, but it's not a large menu. Loads of picnic spots if you want to take your own food. Highly recommended for animal and dinosaur lovers.

A great find for a family day trip. We stopped here en route to a holiday. Dinosaur world is fabulous, plenty of huge dinosaur models for all ages. Lots of signs with facts and some links to Jurassic park films. The play area entertained our children for ages, particularly the jumping pillow. Plenty of picnic tables if you want to take your own food. A little cafe there with snacks, treats and some hot food such as burgers and hit dogs. The animals are fun to see also. Lots of birds, some adorable deer, and varieties of cat. When we visited there were baby meerkat. We enjoyed feeding sheep and goats. The highlight is the lemur walk where you can get very close to the happy ring tailed lemurs. Tips, buy tickets online for a saving and wear wellies as understandably given recent rain it is muddy.

We had a brilliant day out here. Being able to get up close with the animals was a fantastic experience and the kids absolutely loved it. When we went there were some very young meerkats and they were fun. A very fun time was had by my whole family and the price was very fair so all in all highly recommend this to all families

I was so impressed with Hoo zoo. We went on a busy Saturday, having booked at short notice and it was so good. Just about every exhibit is great and very well thought out. There are some really some good talks through the day and you really get a sense of how much the keepers care about the animals. The site is wheelchair and pushchair friendly though I would say that when we went the site was extremely muddy after a spell of heavy rain and this could cause some problems. If you visit the lemur enclosure make sure you go around a few times. They can be a bit skittish at first but when they get used to you they will all appear and it is magical. Be careful not to bring any food because they will have it off you, even it's in your pockets. This happened to me so be careful 😂 The childrens play area is really well appointed too. There are several large areas that include a sandpit, a trampoline and a pirate ship. There's a zipwire too. It was really pretty expensive compared to other similar places but I would say that it was worth it. The site is filled with things to do and we could easily have spent several more hours there. I can't recommend Hoo zoo enough.

Lovely day out, plenty of animals to see and added bonus of the dinosaurs. The lovely cat near the entrance was very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed a delicious jacket potato meal and great coffee from the cafe, there are picnic tables to sit outside. Hand wash stations available around the farm. Enjoyed helping the keeper feed some of the animals and hearing about them. Wear wellies/walking boots if it has been wet for a few days! Limited parking by entrance but there is an overflow car park.

Excellent place for kids, staff were very child friendly. Try and go early and get to see the animals while not busy or at 3.00 pm when they have feeding time. Great playground, especially when the weather is better and it has dried up a bit! Will definitely go again!

Hoo zoo zookeeper experience was amazing, we loved the meerkats and lemurs. We met a lovely skunk who snuggled down on my lap. Food was great, the dinosaur walk was amazing. We spent a whole day here and loved every moment ❤️ our guide was absolutely wonderful and answered all the questions.

A nice little museum, it only took 15 minutes to walk around and read all the information boards. It was worth visiting to find a little history out on the Ironbridge. There was a shop too. You can walk over Ironbridge and see the river and take in the lovely scenery. Then you have the shops, cafés, etc. Ironbridge is a great place to visit.

This is a great addition to The Ironbridge Gorge Museums charting a brief history of the building of the Ironbridge and some of the history of the industrial past of the Ironbridge Gorge .Worth a vist although its small .There are stairs leading up to the top level which for people that have a disability might be difficult. Nearby Parking and direct access to Ironbridge town itself. Friendly avs helpful staff .

We had called in to just have a look. It was my only day of and planned High tea with visit to Truffles. The're selling the museum all year pass and i'm saying no. I'm in my best shoes, not dressed for walking around. Cheers for ruining my whole day. Very pushy sales man.

I have a 10 and a 6 year old, they enjoyed it, however I do wonder If it's just the season and the time adding to the overall effect. There's a few things to do at wonderland, by far the maze was the best. It really did get us and we were lost in it. That would he fun on a late night for sure. There's plenty of food places to eat and plenty of choices. The entertainer's were a good addition too, they did a good job.

Haven't been for a about 4 years due to the price increases however not much has changed. Had a great day but think now kids am 6 it's just overdone and more for younger ones. Had a great time for the teachers' day made the most out of every part and kids round rides countless times. But don't think we will return now till they have kids.

6 of us ranging from 5 to 70 had a great day here. Lots to see and do. The detail in the little houses is great, loved looking at the nick nacks in the displays. Food and drink were expensive, I really wanted a hot pork bap but having watched someone else buy one there was no way I was spending £5.50 for a tiny bap with a small amount of pork in it. It was freezing so we forked out for the hot drinks. Not going to knock a start of a you have a choice, buy our don't buy. Need more bins around the place. The characters were all brilliant and friendly despite it being minus 3 degrees. The Grinch had us in stitches lol. Santa was Brill and my 2 girls loved it, we wernt rushed at all. My eldest (8) did notice that was 2 Santa's when we went to get our pictures as there are 2 screens next to other and the last persons pictures were still on there worth a different santa to the one we saw. Clever lol. The paths were all nice to walk on with no mud or litter anywhere. Except the main grass area was muddy but that's too be expected this time of year. Overall we loved it and will go back again to see what it's like in the summer.

Excellent for young and old. Having returned as an adult with two kids after many years this place brought back some fond memories. It was a little dull and overcast with the odd shower but still plenty to do. The staff were very friendly and helpful and really made an effort. The Mad Hatter kept everyone entertained and the inclusion of the rides and crazy golf made the day very good value.

I went as a child and now I'm 32 I still love to go. It's full of nursery rhymes, disney, Christmas and magic. It truly is wonderland and the staff make it the place it is. You can press lots of buttons for music and rhymes as you walk around and there's lots of photo opps and rides for the kids too

A great day out with younger kids, if you are expecting a big theme park I think you'll be disappointed but this is a great little park set out with lots to see to keep the little ones entertained. The staff are really enthusiastic and friendly and play all the characters in the park well. We went on a (admittedly wet) Saturday in the school holidays and were surprised at how quiet the park was, there were no queues for any of the rides you could just go straight on. The rides are a little basic but again, this isn't a big theme park with roller coasters. They have put a lot of detail into the displays and themed areas and the maze was surprisingly difficult. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Went here for Halloween. The whole place was decorated with spooky decorations and had people dressed up in spooky characters. You were given a trick or treat bag on entry and the kids could get presents and treats from staff around the venue. Sound effects and smoke machines made the whole experience great start to finish. Would recommend for the whole family. Apparently going here at night for the Halloween is terrifying!

Over the years we have visited wonderland lots of times with our children a d today I visited with my grandchildren. The visit wasn't great the staff are lovely and friendly and interact with the children lovely and the children loved seeing the characters but the while place is looking run down it looks old and dirty and not cared for anymore the village is shut off and there are now food and drink stalls to use but we fed the children while here buying a hotdogs meal and a burger meal the prices are good but when the meal came the little one didn't want her burger after eating only half saying chewy and when my daughter checked it the burger was raw in the middle, when she took it back to them they just said okay would you like a sausage instead. The parks and shopping once out of wonderland are amazing.

Great place to take the kids and can be a good full day out. Take your own picnic for when you get to the big giant and enjoy a spot of lunch befire heading back round the trail. It's so lovely entering with the story book themes, the kids loved it. We went for the easy eggstargabza which was really good, staff were dressed up in various costumes and story book characters and the kids enjoyed collecting there goodies as there visited the various houses of the story books to find a prize for their Easter bags. Love the additions of dinosaur valley, there's loads to get the little ones looking out for keeping them well occupied amd able to run at their leisure. There's a pram and walk route which makes it accessible for everyone, we had a pram and had the group split and meet to the separate routes. The village was so magical for the kids and the rides an added bonus throughout the kids got to go in them a few times including the carousel, and little traing ride and more when you get to the giant. The kids enjoyed making decorations and decorating some gingerbread. They enjoyed a great Easter show and met loads of animals in the park by the animal man who wad there, the lizard and snake were bug and meerkat were so cute. The kids enjoyed a hotdogs and chips before enjoying a stroll through the maze and having a play in on the bouncy castle in the castle. We also enjoyed meeting Peter rabbit and collecting the kids final egg at the mandhatters tea party area. Great day out and so much to keep the lods entertained.

We all absolutely loved the Winter Wonderland. My children are 7 and 10 and didn’t stop smiling. We had the best day. The staff made such an effort to make them feel special, we barely queued for anything and we thought it was Just the right size to fill most of the day without being overwhelmed. The gift from Santa was lovely and the kids loved all the rides. The grinch was fantastic and very much amused everyone. Thank you to all the staff.

Fantastic family day out. The park was spotless, not one bit of litter. All theming looked amazing. Most of all, the staff were brilliant, polite, friendly, and great with our young twins when helping them onto the rides 10/10. The mad hatter was a standout credit to Wonderland.

Great day out for a 3 and 5 year old. The staff are amazingly friendly, the shows are great. The walks are just enough. Coffee was quite nice (personal preference) We went in the half term time and wasn't too busy. Food was reasonably priced as you would expect from a theme park but all good. We are coming back down for Halloween

Such a brilliant place to bring children around the xmas period. I brought my 2 year son to see santa and they had all of the fair ground rides which was included in the price. There was activities all throughout the day which was nice also. The staff also went above and beyond to help for a surprise for my son with his daddy coming home for Xmas as a surprise which made it really really special. Thanks to all the staff. Happy Xmas.

Had a fab day out with our 18 month old, he couldn't go on all the rides due to adults not being able to ride with him, but we thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the park and spent the entire day here, there was plenty to keep us busy, I think we will definitely be coming back

Visited here recently with our two children (3 & 18 months) and had a lovely time. My children loved looking at the fairy tale houses and dinosaurs, as well as enjoying the rides they had available (my 18 month old had to go on most with me, but he loved them, especially the little train when it went fast). Both kids enjoyed the bouncy castle, which I think they'd have spent all day there if they could. There was also a sandpit, mini golf, maze, gingerbread decorating, face painting, glitter tattoos and hair braiding available (the last 3 listed you had to pay for). My eldest was chuffed with her beautiful face paint and the woman was so kind and patient. Staff were really friendly and good with the children. My kids had a lovely day out, and us adults enjoyed the scenery. Our only issue is that Google maps kept leading us to a holiday inn, who were very good and let us gain entrance to Wonderland through the back of the hotel. We obviously realise this could have been avoided, as we walked back to our car through the town park, but when we arrived, it wasn't really signposted (the exotic zoo was) and Google maps was telling us to go the opposite way. Still 5 stars because at the end of the day our children had a great time.

Lovely day out at wonderland ideal for toddlers up to 10 year olds. Really nice staff chatty plus helpful and even gave us a free return because the weather report wasn't great.

Lovely park and woodland areas. Plenty of trails to go off along. A few pools dotted around and the Stirchley Chimney from its former days as a brick works. Lots of picnic areas to watch the wildlife and enjoy the peace. Disc Golf and Exotic Zoo there too.

Nice for a day out, lots of things to do, whether you have children or not. The walk around the park is relaxing on a nice day with plenty of amenities if needed at most points around the park too, a drastic improvement from what it used to be when I was a child.

Definitely the best park we have visited with our daughter. Could literally spend the day here and she would be engaged and occupied. Lots of Childrens play areas with exciting equipment, in good condition. Plenty of benches for adults to take the weight off their feet. Clean toilets and stalls selling ice creams, coffee, confectionery etc. we took our own lunch and parking cost us £5 for the day on Dark Lane car park next to wonderland.

Staying at the Holiday Inn I got up early for a jog, after seeing some lovely ponds, tracks and woodlands on Google maps I decide this looked good, what a lovely are it was. Worth the visit-walk-run etc.

There is so much to do at the park! Playgrounds for the children, a splash park, gardens and paths to explore, a cafe and much more. The shopping centre, the cinema and Asda are close by... You can easily spend the whole day in the area.

Lovely park have to walk through for work etc it’s kept very clean and it’s lovely in all seasons of the year! Quite a few different walks of the town park as well, a big playground for children and it’s right next to town so it’s walkable also has a food and drinks stand, not sure when this is open though and has the visitor centre next to the playground. Nice park to visit 👍👍

Just a place I could wander around all day. From looking at abandoned industrial sites to watching the wildfowl in the lakes. Can be so peaceful

What an absolutely stunning facility for everyone to use! One of the best play areas in a long way!! Quite frankly, a world class play area and that says a lot having been to play parks around the world! Great bike tracks and so close to the Telford Shopping Centre for all the food and shopping g you can do on top of the day at the park! Definitely worth many visits!!

It’s a nice little museum, especially for younger kids. Older kids will be quickly bored. The downside is that a lot of exhibits don’t seem to work as intended or at all in some cases. Best done as part of the pass

What a shame this place has gone downhill so much. Took my daughter here as we haven't been for ages and it's starting to get run down with exhibits not working and not much changing. The water table was an amazing display of how water powers different types of renewable energy etc but now barely half or it works, possibly due to the low water levels or lack of maintenance to the bearings in the turbine etc. This place could be amazing and had the potential to be great when it opened but now it's suffering from age. The long and short of it, if you have a pass for the other museums and haven't been it's worth a quick visit but other than that I'd skip it and go somewhere else in the gorge like blists hill.

An amazing day out for the children. It was very interactive and the children enjoyed learning how things work, there is also a lovely sensory area which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Would highly recommend for all ages 👌

Absolutely brilliant place to visit. So interesting and interactive activities are really good. Could do with a little coffee shop for parents whilst the kids are playing.

Not as good as it used to be, I feel although they have lost some of their biggest attractions and now need some more interesting bigger displays. Would have also been nice of the water exhibition was fully working. Well worth it if you already have a pass but I would not buy the pass just for enginuity

A great family day out. Mostly aimed at children, but older children and adults may enjoy it too and will be able to explain the science! Very interactive and there are multiple quizzes to do.

Really great place to take the kids and have a fun day out with loads of activities to keep the little ones busy. Lots of interesting information and great way to learn new facts. They have loads of little science experiments that the kids really loved to play with, and a scaled water works where you can see hydro-electric power generation in action.

Enginuity is a great little interactive museum that shows children and adults alike how power is produced and used, it includes water power, wind power, friction power and even a new interactive iron making room. There's a quiet room for children with sensory needs and a craft room with activities. Because the majority of the equipment is interactive, children can literally touch almost everything which is fantastic for inquisitive fingers. I feel the only down side is that they could have more to do. At £10.50 for an adult and £6.50 per child you can walk round within an hour, see everything and leave. We spent a few hours there as we took our time and explained how every model worked. 2 favourite models/interactives: Sand holographic volcano and evolution. How iron is made interactive kiln room.

A great place to learn more about the history of the area. Really enjoyed a family visit there. There’s a great mix of interactive displays which are great for kids, plus static displays of old tech, then some interesting info on the geographical and industrial history of the area. The place isn’t huge but that’s ok every family day out doesn’t need to be a whole day. We spent half a day there including lunch next door (which was also nice)

The museum is good, although the stand out water learning and play display in the centre of the main room doesn't work as intended and is becoming a bit of a pink elephant. We have the iron bridge museum's pass and would recommend this to those who live locally.

We took our grandchildren during the Easter holidays. They were thrilled with all the things they could touch and play with. Several of the displays prompted them to ask questions about how things work, which we thought was good. There is a small, quiet sensory room that is open to all and gives the children a chance to be in a calm environment and relax. Enginiity is a safe environment for children to be given a little freedom to explore without parents/carers/grandparents being concerned. There is no cafe or drinks machine in Enginuity itself. However, there is a small cafe just outside.

I was here 20 years ago and always longed to come back. I was not disappointed. Ingenious models demonstrating mechanical advantage. I even pulled a steam locomotive a few feet! Many museums in the area and one can get a deal on multiple visits. Just go and take the kids!

Visited while in the area using our Pass Plus. Friendly staff, interesting interacting exhibits, and a nice craft workshop for the children. A number of the larger exhibits seem to be broken at the moment, which is a shame. I didn't mind too much as entry was covered with the pass, hopefully they can be fixed soon

A very funny place, even for adults, we can learn even more about electricity, machine motion, train, hidroeléctric, highly recommend if you are planning to go with kids!

Not that large, but good fun - reminds me of 'Launchpad' at The Science Museum. Lots of interactive exhibits that kids will enjoy playing with - as always seems to be the way with these things, though, not everything works properly. The 'water cycle' exhibit was a firm favourite with #2 son, whereas the live topographic projection onto a sandpit was a winner with his older sibling. Definitely worth a visit.

One the best location for hiking. The view is very incredible and the level of difficulty of this hike is moderate. The town wellington is also a very nice place with many pubs and retail to eat after the hike and best part is that there one Weatherspoon pub in here✌🏻

Great views walk isn't too challenging either

Great place to come get some exercise and experience fantastic views! However, welfare facilities would be beneficial as my friend Pete (pictured) struggled without a latrine break; but he still managed to complete the walk without any noticeable issues.

There is a car park very near the start of the hike up to the Wrekin, I believe that you have to pay to park but can’t comment as we parked on the free parking area, all along the roadside there is fee parking (please park responsibly) to avoid a ticket! The hike up to the top was very enjoyable with some extremely stunning views. You will often see paraglides taking off from the top which is cool to watch. We visited on a Sunday and it was extremely busy. Because of this, if we was to visit again we would visit in the week and leave early!

Nice stroll up to the top but unfortunately we didn't get the views we hoped for. That's just due to the time of year and it wasn't a day with great visibility.

A great local walk with a non-stop incline! great work out for the quads, glutes and calves. a regular hiker will find this easy but as someone who recently started hill walks found this a little harder than others i have completed. Fantastic views, great diversity of users, however, cloud cover can happen very quickly and without warning depending on wind direction as you can see from our photos. A great morning walk and a good introduction for a beginner like me. I agree with other reviews, there are a lot of discarded pet poo bags at the summit and hidden in the rocks, that should not be happening, also a lot of dogs not on leads so please bare that in mind.

Beautiful walk and beautiful views. My favourite time to do it is in the dark so that you are up there to watch the sunrise. Even better with a Trangia stove, some bacon, baps and some coffee (always remember to remove all litter and every trace of you being there though)

Excellent walks with a choice of trails ,most people stick to the main path which is pretty much a constant incline to the summit, this is heavily used by the public great for cardio. The real gem of a walk is take the left track before the incline to the half way house, this takes you through the woodlands forest walk all the way to the opposite side of the wrekin and a beautiful wooded trail to the top which zig zags up the rear face of the wrekin .(Highly recommended)

A challenging climb, but worth the views at the summit. My family has climbed this hill for generations so it has personal as well as historical significance.

Moderate difficulty level, good to stretch legs. Parking is available however people do park on road sides free of charge. Mountain cycling is possible.

Lots of trees with many branches on them. The view from top of the hill looks great. If you choose to not go upwards on the Wrekin hill there is also some very good tall trees walking around the hill only.

Always loved the name of this hill even though I’m not local it’s a parliamentary constituency name that sticks in the mind! So when I was in the area, I decided to climb it. Not the biggest hill I’ve climbed but quite challenging all the same, would recommend sticks even though I didn’t see anybody using them, probably because it’s ‘only’ a climb of 800ft or so. Sticks could be useful especially on descent as the gradient is quite steep & almost constant.

Nice visit. Had a fun time with my son in the pottery shed painting a plaster slipcast model. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable and great to visit the kilns and ceramic displays.

Went here with the children as a start point for the tar tunnel tour. Would recommend buying an ironbridge pass which gives entry to all ironbridge museums making it a cheap day out. Well displayed prices of China with a lot of information regarding the history of the site, ownership of buildings over the years and the industry itself. Easy to understand information and lots of workshops for the children, spent a few hours here, myself and children loved it.

Friendly staff and mostly dog friendly except for upstairs gallery Didn't take long to see everything Pleasant canal side location and very peaceful Recommend grabbing a drink from the Youth Hostel across the courtyard

Spent an afternoon going round the museum as was a rainy day. Thoroughly enjoyed, loved the exhibits, loved the original buildings. Couple of people working explaining their craft. Ate at the cafe good meal.

Wasn't so keen on all the china displays at the beginning - but once past that the kilns and workshops were very interesting. Good to chat with the lady making saggers - she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Enjoyed a lovely walk there and back along the now defunct canal from Jackfield tile museum.

Fascinating delve into the local history. Was funny learning how much was “stolen” from France (I visited with a French friend and this became his running joke for the day) and other parts of the world. Well worth a trip, whether for a quick visit or on one of the workshop days.

Surprisingly interesting museum, with a fun bottle making activity for children (and adults), although that may have just been for half-term. Lots to explore, including seeing inside two old bottle kilns. Plenty of exhibits of local China and history about its production and the lives of the people who worked there.

What an amazing place. We all had a great time here, both adults and children. Clay modelling was so much fun. Lived the interactive tea cups a must. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Also, I can't recommend the pass plus enough such great value. Offers so much extra for free, which is so good for a family on a budget

Beautiful place. The museum itself is fantastic but the walk along the canal and then along the River Severn to the craft centres and Boat pub is amazing. It is so green and scenic. The cafe opposite the Coalport China Museum is lovely.I arrived there after a traumatic car journey and all the staff were wonderful. They straightaway fetched me a glass of water and made me tea and toast. I had to insist on paying for it. Wonderful kind people.

Went here with the kids today, what an amazing experience, you get given a tea cup to carry around and there are several places where there are saucers standing on sound boxes, you put your tea cup on it and it tells you a story or a bit of history regarding the tea set you are looking at. They have a clay workshop on site where you can make your own design of whatever and have it baked and that is it, you will have something unique. This has been a wonderful place to visit.

A really interesting walk through the history of china production in the area. Plenty of examples and each area has something to appeal to children. I may or may not have partaken in the pottery painting... I recommend at least one person in the party getting the pass plus instead of the ordinary pass as parking is then free at all the Ironbridge sites and you get 10% off food and gift shop pirchases

Fantastic experience, very well laid out. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a great visit, I use a mobility scooter and my daughter uses a wheelchair. We we able to see almost everything. The one thing we would suggest is Subtitles and BSL Interpretation on the videos. Apart from that one suggestion it was a first class experience. We had cake and drinks in the cafe which were really delicious and again very helpful and friendly staff member! Definitely worth a visit. I would suggest if you are visiting more than one museum in Ironbridge, get the year pass, it is well worth it.

Fabulous! Trips to Topps Tiles won’t be the same any more! I’d never thought of how many full pictures can be made out of tiles. The rich people of yesteryear must have had great fun commissioning displays for their kitchens, bathrooms, libraries or living rooms. Not to mention shops and other business premises that wanted surfaces that were easy to clean.

We really enjoyed the tile museum. There are some fabulous tiles through the years. We especially enjoyed the exhibition.

Great museum, very informative and the highlight for us was the workshop to decorate our pwn tiles. Update. We've just received our tiles back from Jen and couldn't be happier. I hope you all agree and have a try yourselves!

Brilliant museum charting the history of Tile making in Jackfield with a lovely little Cafe situated under the museum offering soups,confectionary, drinks, tea's and coffee and cake. The Peacock cafe is dog friendly and has a very art deco appearance with friendly helpful staff and easy disabled access. Well worth a visit and they still make the most wonderful decorative tiles on site and decorative tiles can still be purchased within the museum.

Nice gallery and front office staff was so helpful and nice. I got so amazing tea pot stand for my mom. The collection of the tiles I was fall in loved.

Really enjoyed our day out. We had a good look around, they do a hunt the tile activity to get the children really looking. There's a selection of shops in the outer buildings. There's a cafe but would recommend getting there early lunch to get a proper selection of foods. Children enjoyed decorating a title, good activity, extra £10 each and worth booking in advance.

This is a wonderful little museum, not only if you like tiles, but also if art and design interests you. Housed in a disused tile factory is a beautiful display of locally & nationally manufactured little works of art. They have a little cafe for drinks and snacks and the staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed it.

A massive place, quite interesting for adults, I doubt most children would be that bothered. Well laid out with interesting displays and a super little cafe in the entrance. Worth a visit as part of the Pass.

We spent over 2 hours learning about how the area produced the best tiles in the World, at the time, which were used in buildings all over the globe. Absolutely fascinating.........

Very interesting if you like to read history, how the tiles are getting popular from the Victorian time to nowadays

A good informative place to visit if you want to know a little history about the area and the buildings. There is a large pay and display car park and benches to sit on to take in the views of the river and the Ironbridge. The museum is small, but it is free entry, it has a shop and is in a central location, so it is a good place to start as there are several museums in the area.

Would have loved to go and see this place, but unfortunately they are closed for renovation.

A must visit to see see key information about the town of much Wenlock. Such an amazing little town in what is in reality in the middle of no where for many years.

A very well run historical centre full of interesting information and local knowledge about the development of Ironbridge and surrounding industries since 1700's. I am so pleased I found this place and was able to learn about this fantastic jewel in the development of Industrisl Britain. It was well worth making the long journey to Ironbridge to visit this museum.

Set in an old building along side the River Severn is one of the main museum's of Ironbridge.Outside is a huge carpark where you can park the car,take in great views of the bridge itself and then stroll in to town. Unfortunately the museum wasn't really up and running but they were showing a fifteen minute film all about the history of the area and it was well worth watching.The gift shop has the usual pencils,books,tea towels and iron ornaments on offer and the staff all very pleasant.

A small but interesting museum about the building itself.

We visited Blists Hill Victorian Village I'd been here when I was a child and remember it with fond memories. I wasn't disappointed when I revisited, the museum Village is set up brilliantly and the staff working there were really knowledgeable and played their part in making it feel like a real working Victorian Village. You can change your money to old coins and use them to buy things if you wish. Dog are also welcome here 🐕🐶

Well worth a free visit to see how this important building is being renovated and repurposed.

Interesting, not lots to see but a good few informative images dotted throughout

It's difficult to decide which of the Ironbridge Museums is the best as they are all so good. The way that they have been set up to give a living presentation of the place at the start of the industrial Revolution is excellent, from the shops, engines, both static and the traction engines to the artisans really makes the history accessible to all ages.

Lovely small national trust property. The trees lining up to the property are spectacular, and the grounds are wonderfully kept. The house is small but full of character, and the guides really brought the property and people who lived their to life with fascinating stories and artefacts. Would definitely return again.

Loved our volunteers visit there. However please check website for opening times. They have changed.

Great place to visit, guided tour excellent experience and very informative. The gardens were a disappointment and not as expected. The visit was easily accomplished within two hours. We would visit again but only when a special event was held such as the Christmas decorations display and Santa Claus sessions.

Well after eventually getting in to see this place😑/ partly open and an incoherent answer phone ( just say when your open would be helpful) As it's managed by Attingham park/ anyway it wasn't really worth the effort a dark dingy interior as some of the window blinds are broken 😑 I was quite disappointed as alot of the furniture was in a poor condition along with the interior/ 5 stars to the guide though very knowledgeable/ gardens were poor/ I assume because they can't get volunteers? I'd give this place a miss as there are far better NT properties to see

You can only visit on selected dates. Worth a visit but no cafe any more. It's a small property but a lot of history . Take a picnic and if its nice weather you can spend time on the lawn in the deckchairs

Sunnycroft Wellington shropshire home of a Shropshire brewer, a beautiful Edwardian gentleman's home. Exactly how it was when it was built the family never changed the house. Wonderful grade 1 glass house in the grounds. Well worth a visit, national trust property. Pre book only

Lovely place to visit for a delightful tour in a relaxing environment. Tyger, Tyger, burning bright, In the BILLIARD room of the site, What immortal Lander eye, Did FRAME thy fearful symmetry? (William BREAK).

Did an embroidery event at Sunnycroft. This place is such a little NT beauty 😍. Honestly, this house is marvellous. I really loved this place. Love how it's kept to all its original features. Truly amazing place, and I look forward to coming back.

Really liked the cream teas here especially having them outside. Great house with knowledgeable and friendly guides. A good tour. Don't miss the tiger under the pool table 🐯. Loved the chickens in the garden 🐔 (they had chickens when it was a family home). Don't miss the Daimler in the bubble (see picture) really super 🚗. Very good amount of information pannels. Great flowers🌹, vegetables 🥕 and lawn area in the garden. The children loved running around. Would recommend a visit.

A lovely little NT gem, untouched over time, if it’s this nice on a chilly Feb day it must a delight in the summer ! Great way to see how a Victorian Villa was run in the day (if you could step back in time). Nice looking little tea room but we didn’t use. Reasonable grounds which originally were twice the size but sold off over time. House currently undergoing re-wiring so some of the rooms are partially covered in dust sheets etc but can still get the idea of how grand they were. Surprising how free you can roam and how many original items are placed out for your interest throughout the house. Bit of a guided talk in the servants quarters and then you’re left to roam the house, very knowledgeable guides on hand throughout.

A beautiful Edwardian house. You can see the upstairs and the backstairs.... Money was everything. The staircase and skylight are unique - worth a visit just to see those. I recommend the 40min guided tour.... there were just four of us with Angela, a really knowledgeable guide. Fascinating! Enjoying tea and cake on the veranda was really quite special.... The gardens are just beautiful. Parking is free - and entry at £7.80 is worth every penny.

Beautiful gardens and enjoyable afternoon visiting the grounds of the Park. A nice pizza at the Pizza kitchen, too! The house isn't open to the public, only the grounds.

Quick to get into the place with an entry point for tickets booked on line and separate point of entry if paying on day. Great outside play area for young children with lots of things to occupy them and for them to climb on and over. The miniature train which is by the play area is reasonably priced at £2.50 for around a15 min. ride which is through a wooded area so there's not a lot to see except for lots of great interesting trees. But beware of the train seats they were all really dirty. It's a great place if you like a good walk with big wide open spaces and a great place to take your dog. Not a lot there to see though, there's the formal gardens a church a couple of greenhouses with lots of plants in and you have to look and find these places because there isn't a map to tell you where they are or any sign post's. For the ladies there's a problem with the toilets. Very long queues. Also the separate disability toilet was also being used as a nappy changing area. Why ? Surely they can find a room for nappy changing. There is the house of course to look around which is £3 extra but it's well worth having a look inside. It's only open from 1 till 4 but most rooms have a guide and the guides are very helpful and knowledgeable about the house. They could do with signs to tell you which room to go into next, people seem to be wondering backwards and forwards not sure which way to go. Used there snack bar to purchased a ham roll for £2.50 one very thin peice of ham and the roll lacked any substance to it but the hot chocolate I purchased was great. Enjoyed the day. Would have enjoyed more if the sun had been out.

We went for the enchanted forest, made a perfect date night with my wife! It looked so amazing! The food and drinks were amazing too! Children had activities to do including icing Christmas trees and gingerbread men! We shall return!

We provided the wedding band and DJ here over the weekend and were so impressed with the venue as a whole. The decor is stunning inside and out with beautiful views of the grounds. The staff were wonderful and the food was fantastic. A fantastic venue for a wedding - we look forward to working with you again!

We had an excellent weekend at Camperjam VW festival. Even the shocking weather could not put a damper on it. The music and food stalls were great and all the great VW on show, classic and modern. All the spares you will need or don’t need, just wish you had.

Yes. The train is still there and. It's. A twenty plus minute ride through the woods too.. Ok as for the House itself. Well it's big, lots of oil paintings of really unattractive and menacing looking people from hundreds of years ago, vases and statuettes and room after room. Most rooms had an old lady telling you not to sit on the furniture/sofas. More oil paintings some of horses, lots of nakedness, women and children and babies depicted in quite a lot of these old paintings, no comments lol Pretty boring stuffiness really unless you like that sort of stuff. I guess. The grounds and gardens, bits I saw were ok. I didn't walk and explore the whole 1000 acres or the whole estate, it seemed to go on forever. As was there for the Summer Fiesta and picnic. I have never been here before so nice to finally have a look around. I didn't go in to The Granary bar restaurant but it looked really nice for somewhere to eat and drink so plan on a return visit. As stately homes and gardens go, I was disappointed by the gardens so if that's your thing there's much better places, if you are taking kids I think it's not historic enough, didn't see any suits of armour and all the kids wanted to go upstairs which is out of bounds. For walking the dogs, a picnic and a game of Frisby, play park and train, it's a good alternative to your normal park and the facilities, toilets, shop, etc are very good. I think unless there's an event or thing on, you just pay parking.

What a great event at weston Park. The kids loved it. It was a great family evening watching the pyrotechnics with the real and remote control aeroplanes. The only criticism I have was there wasn't clear signs on where we had to go to enter weston park then at the end it was a nightmare trying to get out and they should of sent you out on both entries

We went to the Western Park Christmas market and were not disappointed. A range of stalls, homemade gifts, alcohol, cheese to name a few. All situated on the beautiful grounds where you can have a wonder. Kids or no kids get yourself on the tiny train and enjoy going through the woodland! 🚂🌲🌲🎄🌲

Went for a classic car show. Great place to visit for anyone. Nice grounds to walk around.

Great day out plenty of walks around the estate. The kids' play area was fantastic. My 4 kids are aged between 3 and 9 and loved it, with lots of play equipment for all ages. The train ride was brilliant about a 15-minute journey with lots to see well worth the price. Weston Park also holds lots of differing events we first visited during a triathlon, which we hardly noticed while walking around the estate. Our second visit was the spring fling event, which was awesome, live music, fair ground, craft and food stalls, and a great atmosphere. I am looking forward to many more visits with family and friends.

We visited Weston on the Spring fling event on a BH Monday. The were a selection of stalls selling food and drinks, crafts and music. Lots of families were taking advantage of the beautiful weather and brought picnics, playing games etc . There are plenty of grounds to investigate and walk!! We went around the house, it was lovely, I was surprised at the number of oil paintings by famous artists, very impressive. There is a restaurant and art gallery onsite which had an animal art event. A lovely day and would visit again to explore the beautiful grounds.

Visited the Christmas Market. As with last year, the organisation was excellent, with all staff being friendly and helpful. The market was really interesting. Excellent atmosphere. There were many wide ranging stalls. I was so nice to see that the stall holders were selling their own hand made products. Pay a visit, you certainly will not be disappointed.

Stayed for the weekend in our caravan. The grounds although rather wet at this time of year are still beautiful and well worth a walk around. Lots of people doing the same and just visiting for the day. They have a narrow gauge railway which runs through part of the gardens and gives you a different view from walking. They also have a restaurant/cafe which although we didn't visit looked like it was serving Sunday Lunch. This is not our first visit but the first staying over in the caravan. Has the usual small toilet block and an elsan waste point too.

We stopped for lunch only whilst passing through the area and glad we did. The cafe part didn't have much food choice other than bread items, but the restaurant menu looked tasty with their light bites proving a good choice. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. I was given an allergy sheet to assist with ordering. We could order and pay online from the table, however the pay feature didn't appear to allow Gpay or Apple payments already part of ones phone... It required a card input, so we decided to order at the bar. The Chorizo sharing nibbles came out shortly after the drinks. The chicken burger looked very good, and I was informed it was worth the wait. They did have a large birthday party group at the time we ordered, so a delay was expected. Have to say it's a nice place to visit for a special event! My Superfood salad with additional freshly cooked Prawns was Super tasty and an ample plate full. Glad we decided to call in...Highly recommend!

Great museum with lots of interesting things to do for young and old alike. Also has a restaurant attached which we didn't use but it did look popular.

This is a really well constructed museum. At the time of our visit we had the advantage of being escorted by a really good guide.

Confusing about which site is which and what they do. I don't know if Google will attach this to the right pin! Visited the museum about iron, interesting, also Ingenuity nearby which is science for children. You need to get someone to explain all the ticket options and discounts (eg English heritage) . NB parking is extra at the various sites £1/hour.

If you're interested in the history of the industrial revolution, this is a good place to visit. We bought the museum passport, and visited 6 of the collection of museums over 2 days (although 2 were closed !). There are also plenty of pretty walks around the area and along the Severn river.

Lovely, friendly staff Unfortunately not dog-friendly Some interesting indoor and outdoor exhibits with lots to look at and read about Watch out if on top floor on the hour as the bell chimes and is very loud! (We learnt that the hard way 🤣)

Really interesting, well worth a visit. Apparently the big table with 4 metal dogs in the corner is that heavy it takes several strong men to lift

Ironbridge is an Heritage area with lots of wonderful museums Blists Hill is a wonderful family museum, with great fish and chips cooked in the old tradition!!! The China museum has in the grounds behind the main building and area for children to paint and make items The area is worth exploring and has good walks to Jackfield with excellent pubs for food . Come and see for yourselves If you buy the Passport works out cheaper than day tickets , Plus you can visit as many times as you like in the year without paying ! They have two types of tickets normal and plus with the plus it's about £5 dearer and you do not pay for parking worth considering Hope you enjoy your visit

The best part was the Victorian village. Not worth £33 per person, there was only an option to purchase annual tickets which was not great. Very spread out which becomes annoying when you have to pay for parking at every area.

This museum is great, they have so much information around and lots of exhibits to see

The museum of iron is located on the site of original iron foundry works, so a visit is a combination of both indoor displays and open air examination and view of the industrial remains in the site. Machinery and equipment that has been donated to the museum adds to and compliment the site based artifacts. Displays are well organised and will be of interest to both adults and children. The latter being especially thought of.

Live locally and visited many times but rarely purchase. This is due to the limited range and also the fact this centre is clearly more expensive than others. There also doesn't to seem to be an infusion of new products which makes it feel stale. The staff have always been very friendly and I genuinely wish them success. However there has to be a reason to purchase and support this local setup and I find this difficult.

Excellent help and advice from their knowledgeable staff. Great selection of plants which have made our garden look great. Went in today with a couple of problems, which were quickly resolved and the corrective products selected. So nice having a great garden centre which is really local.

We called for a coffee. It was very cold in the cafe. The young lady who served us was very pleasant and the latte was perfect and very hot. The garden centre is only small but well stocked and competitive prices. A good selection of cards.

This was my first visit to this charming garden center nestled on the outskirts of Telford, boasting a wonderful selection of plants, Christmas trees, and delightful gift ideas for the festive season. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the incredible performance by the City of Wolverhampton Brass band. Despite the chilly weather, their talented musicianship truly shone through, adding a magical touch to the event. Right from my arrival, the staff were incredibly approachable and guided me to the festivities. Meeting owners Cathy & Steve was a privilege; despite their busy schedule, they took the time to share their passion and dedication for their business, which has undoubtedly shaped this remarkable garden center. It takes immense dedication and drive to create such a wonderful space, and it's evident in every corner of this place, a credit to Cathy, Steve, and their fantastic team. Quite often go but first time to cafe which was a good experience I only had a drink this time but they do cakes and a limited menu . Will be back .

As a garden centre I was somewhat disappointed with the range and cost of plants. I was impressed with the range and price of the pots on on offer.

Absolutely amazing experience my partner, my son and i had today. We selected a canoe and although it was our first time, not only on a canoe but on the open water, we had an amazing time. There were a few new starter hiccups....but once we got the hang of it we were loving it, beautiful scenery and even the opportunity to have a little picnic along the way. The hosts were amazing, the briefing was on point and nothing was too much trouble. Great hosts, great value for money and great memories made. Highly recommend this team, get booking, we will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

We hired a mini raft on Bank Holiday Monday and had a great experience. Booking was simple, the price was competitive and the guys were really helpful and friendly. We started at Cressage and rowed to Ironbridge - we even had time to enjoy a picnic in our raft along the way. The raft and equipment were clean, dry and well maintained. Safety was a top priority at all times. They gave us all the information up front so we knew what to wear, what to bring with us and where to meet up. The whole experience was well organised - information and a mobile contact were included in the raft so we had clear instructions and directions at hand at all times. Well organised, safe and good fun. Highly recommend.

12 of us hired 3 boats and sailed down the river - it took about 3 hours travelling from Coalport to Bridgnorth and we all had a great day. Felt well looked after from start to finish, all logistics communicated in great detail, as well as a good safety briefing. Finished off the day with some food and a drink at The Boatyard pub, a 5 minute stroll from the end of the trip. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had a brilliant time on the Mini Rafts - thank you! Nigel and Sharon were excellent from our first contact to getting us on the water. It was great that we could take our dog too! Great day out made all the more special by the friendly staff and top customer service. Easy online booking, clear instructions sent prior to the day and smooth pick up and drop off at the start. Weather was sunny and we had lunch floating along on our raft. Beautiful countryside and saw 2 kingfishers! Great value and will definitely be back. Thanks guys.

Great communication throughout especially as I had to reschedule my day but this was easily sorted over the phone. Things like this go such a long way with customer experience. Pick up was on time and after a short journey we were taken to our canoe. All equipment and canoe looked in great condition. Helpful and friendly staff at all times, makes the day so much more enjoyable Picturesque scenery along the calm river. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you.

Wonderful day out for Father's day, we set off at 10:15 in the minibus and headed down stream, passing 7 bridges and so much wildlife and beautiful scenery, took around 3 hours in total. The staff were lovely and made everything very easy so we were able to enjoy the whole experience to the max! Definitely will be back to try out the rafts :)

Whilst searching TripAdvisor for things to do in Shropshire, this raft tour company came up. The online booking process was easy and the website was very informative. When we arrived at the car park, we were greeted by Nigel and his partner and another customer for the raft tour. They were very welcome and we enjoyed a little chat whilst putting our buoyancy aids on and waited for the last of the customers to arrive. There was a toddler, his mother and her friend on the tour with us and Nigel was very patient with him and included him in the tour by letting him have a go at moving the oars. Nigel told us about the fascinating history of Ironbridge and also stories of his time working in Canada. Nigel also kept us entertained by telling us stories from previous raft tours he had done. The bridge itself was still having construction work done on it during our visit but this didn't hinder our enjoyment of the tour. Highly recommend this tour to see the beautiful countryside from the river. Will return in the future when the bridge has been restored to its former glory.

We had an amazing day out with Shropshire Raft Tours! We were a hen do of 18 people and did the 7 mile mini-raft route. Sharon and Nigel were very accommodating, arranged all the logistics and helped make the whole group feel safe on the water - even the nervous members! We would highly recommend this as a fun group activity in Shropshire!

We had a great time kayaking down the river today - beautiful surroundings, just the right length of trip, the minibus to take you to the start point so that you don’t have to make your own way back to the car was just perfect, Sharon and Nigel were really friendly and helpful and everything was really well organised. Would highly recommend and come again.

What a wonderful morning! Family of 4 - took us about 2.5/3 hours and our boys loved it! Such a scenic route and very safe and manageable - perfect family adventure (even when it poured for 5 minutes!!). Communication and logistics was also excellent. Will definitely do it again. Thank you.
