(Translated by Google) The most beautiful Gothic church in the city. Built by wealthy townspeople who wanted to build a new temple. The building was supposed to outshine the church of St. with its finish and sophistication of forms. Peter, which is the ambition of the city rulers rather than the townspeople. Wealthy clothiers contributed to the construction of this new church in the 15th century. The best architects known in Upper Lusatia at that time were employed for its construction. This is how a wonderful, hall, three-nave building was created, with a wonderful, richly decorated two-portal entrance in the flame style, with a depiction of the Annunciation, probably by Hans Olmützer. The tracery and tracery in the shape of a fish bladder are also very impressive and shocking with their craftsmanship. The interior is also "amazing"; an astonishing variety of late Gothic forms, wonderful chain and crystal vaults in the vestibule, wonderfully preserved vault bosses and halls with original polychrome in vivid colors. The main gallery on which the organ is placed is also a real masterpiece, filled with an intricately complex buttress in the shape of flames intersecting at every angle. Just below the organ, the space left for the figure of the Beautiful Madonna (Pulchra Marìa), made by Briccius Gausca around 1480, is empty today, and the presence of the figure of Mary is evidenced by the bas-relief placed in this place, depicting Mary with the baby Christ. The interior furnishings come from the end of the 19th century and are entirely Protestant; the neo-Gothic pulpit and the main altar delight with their craftsmanship. The original Gothic floor of the church has also been preserved. From the outside, on the side of the presbytery, the church has preserved a wooden girder, which was probably used to pull blocks for construction and then, perhaps, food for the bell ringer living in the tower. The tower itself was quite low until the 17th century. The three-piece helmet comes only from the early baroque/late classicism period, more precisely from 1665, which date can be seen under the ridge of the helmet. The church makes a huge impression, both on ordinary tourists and on art experts, especially Gothic art. A must-see on the city's tourist map!

Najpiękniejszy gotycki kościół miasta. Wystawiony przez bogatych mieszczan, którzy pragnęli wybudować nową świątynię. Budowla miała przyćmić swym wykończeniem i finezyjnością form kościół św. Trójczęsiowy hełm pochodzi dopiero z okresu wczesnego baroku/poznego klasycyzmu a dokladniej z roku 1665 ktora to date widac pod kalenica helmu.
