Stark contrast to the deprived areas at the bottom of the hill in Trebinje. Exceptionally neat and clean, very well kept vast paved areas. Good views at the top. Smallish car park, gift shop, restaurant and bar. Children's play park (for younger children), and of course the church. Amazingly the church was only built in 2020!

The view from this place over Trebinje is magnificent. Church itself is very nice. There are some interesting frescos and in the church lies the tomb of our famous writer Jovan Dučić. There is a restaurant nearby where you can refresh or eat something while admiring the view. The church is made in smaller version in honor of old monastery Gračanica from Kosovo. It is really worth visiting this place.

I really liked this small museum in Trebinje. It is designed nicely and has decent collection. The only thing I was bothered with was the displays on second floor being in just one language and in Cylliric letter, so I wasn't able to understand anything. And floors were squeaky which was kinda weird for a museum.

The museum is really well equiped, stuff was welcoming and at the arrival they told us intrudaction story about things that can be seen there. Overall nice place to visit when in Trebinje city.

Great place to learn all about Bosnia and Herzegovina/Republican Srpska. 4 levels - flora&fauna world with fake animals in real size which can be really amazing for children if you bring them :) ; then ethology part with history of Bosnia, how people have been living there during centuries; personal things and things which are brought from all over the world by Jovan Dučić, famous Serbian poet (begining of xx century), born in Trebinje. Emm... it's hard to say a lot about this museum. It's sort of like private collection on display. Funny thing you will see many sculptures and pieces of monuments from Greece or Rome but they do not mention that. Just the century. Small and very limited.

It was my first time in Trebinje and of course visited Vinarija Vukoje which is one of the most famous in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Top wines, special restaurant with amazing view. You must visit the wine gallery and taste theirs red and white wines. Cheers!

This is more of a winery, than a restaurant, so have that in mind when visiting. With that in mind, they produce some of the best wines in the region, and that is one of the oldest vine growing regions in the world. Their Zilavka is great and their Vranac Rezerva is absolutely amazing! Make sure to buy some bottles for take out after the visit!

I have been here a few times. It's close to my childhood home. I have moved to Canada roughly 30 years ago. I have been blessed enough to travel to many places in Europe and North America. The best way for be to describe this place: the food, wine, and service rival any 5-star restaurant in in the Mediterranean Region. Disclaimer: I do not know the people who own this place. I have no connection whatsoever. It's just a truly fantastic restaurant. Lastly- If you are visiting Southern Croatia or Montenegro, then it's worth the short trip to dine at this place.

Visit to this place waa a planned trip for me and I went out of my way to spend the night in trebinje. The place has a nice atmosphere, a bit better at night because you cannot ses the place surrounding the restaurant. I was a solo traveller and reserved the table. The place is not that big actually, and because of wind the terrace was not working for eating..just to hang out. I drink Vukoje on a regular basis so I knew about the wine quality, allthough the wine is top notch..the per glass prices are too much. It is Vukoje restaurant, it should be more modest in pricing because they serve only their wine. The food was good! I had the pork medallions and squash potage and couple of glasses of wine. The " greetings from the chef" as they call it and big bucket of bread is ridiculous! I mean i paid for it ofcourse allthough I had half of the pate and two slices of bread. This is a bad service from my point of view. Either state what it is or don't bring it. So this actually puts a bad aftertaste on the evening. At the end I decided not to buy some bottles of wine that I was planning. I was a solo traveller and spent around 50€. Prices are a bit higher but this was and will be a single visit.

Place is unorganized. There should be more signs and maps for newcomers or at least some introduction when you come first time. We had to ask for a key for a locker. You don't get it otherwise... There were dirty lines (that I could remove with my finger) at water level at some pools. There should be more balloons for the rides. I would give 2 stars but people I communicated with were nice and friendly.

There are not enough stars to rate a holy place such as this. Originally, Monostary was built in 4th century and archeological team found it and it can be seen under the glass in side Monostary. It is a place of peace and love, great energy and respect to monks who served there and are rebuilding Tvrdos complex. There is always someone who will tell you about history at least for the last five hundred years. If you go here, do not wear shorts or shirt without sleeves for men and womens who enter must have covered legs and shoulders. In side the Monostary you can see icons carved in stone, holy relics, but most of all you will find peace and go home with a full hart. In front is a gift shop, pay attention what do you like, do not spend to much time because you will probably spend more money that planed. I would recommend a bottle of vine (around 8 euros, any icon that catches your eye (from 20 to 800, depending are they gold and silver plated), maybe a book and that would be it. Visited this place as part of a three country wine tour. The gentleman doing the wine tasting was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to tailor the offering to our tastes. Award winning wine, beautiful location, lovely host. Visited the monastery as well. Be warned, no shorts our skirts allowed, need to be covered to enter.

I've heard about this ancient monastery for long time ago but didn't have time to visit it til last weekend. I am absolutely delighted with everything about this monastery. The peace that I felt dwelling inside it was remarkable, frescos and mosaics are beautiful though they are from not long ago because this monastery was demolished many times and rebuilt once more. The first written marks says that it was first built in forth century and those foundations you can see thru glass in flor. But the other good thing that this monastery has to offer is some of the best wines, they make Cabernet, Merlo , white wine called "Žilavka" and some sweet wines too. I strongly recommend visiting Tvrdosh monastery.
